From the ZDEM Podcast Network, it's Fletchhorn and Haley's Little Bit of Pod. Welcome to A Little Bit of Pod. Yeah, you know that I can commit hard to things quite quickly and then bail on them. You? No. Skateboarding as an example, but I'm coming back to that. Well, I mean, we talked this week. You said you're doing this run, and then you did go on a run?

I did go on a run. A run? A run. A run is better than where I currently. was before that though, wasn't it? Yes. Which was no runs. No runs.

So the running's getting there. The Pilates are still haven't gone. It's just the timings all off. And the skateboarding is just because the weather hasn't been great. Yeah. You know, there's a lot of things I like to start. I was going to get me to cross stitch for a while. And then I just thought, I can't be bothered.

CrossFit. CrossFit. Yeah. Yeah. I think you're going to say CrossFit. Here we go. Yeah. The high rocks, Haley.

Yeah. Oh my God. Stop me if I do. But I can't. I've got no problem with you doing. high rocks we just don't need to know about it. But that's part, I'd have to. That's part of it. You've got to tell everyone. Yeah.

Yeah. So, um, yesterday I clocked where it's from, where I got it from. Oh, you did? Yeah, yeah. I came home. Do you remember earlier in the week, I mentioned my mum and dad bought a puzzle? Mm-hmm. A thousand piece puzzle. Yes. It's a beautiful photograph of, uh, Mara Rola. It's a little village in Cinque Tera

in Italy. Oh, God, that would be a bloody nightmare for a puzzle, all the colours. Because it's all the colourful houses on a cliff sign. and then a lot of sea. So we're talking, color, color, color, color, blah, blah, blue. And my mom did this and she was like, I think this would be nice for your father and I to do. You know a little task that they can do together

on or on there, we've had quite rainy weather, these rainy days. And I came home, and I mentioned this, I came home and they were sort of separating the edges. We don't say that word here. The rins.

The rins. The hard outers. The hard out of rim. Yeah, of the puzzle. They were doing that and all that kind of stuff. And I was like, look at them go. My mom, like me, bought right in, got a real top tier puzzle, and she even went to a bookstore and got a puzzle mat.

I was going to say, did she get a puzzle mat? Have you said that, have I told you about the puzzle ones you can roll up? That's what it is. Yes, amazing. Like a felt one so that you do it on it and then roll it up and come back to it, move it around. And you inflate the roly at the end and then you can just roll the puzzle. Who knew? Yeah, amazing.

So she's gone in, right? She's like, I'm a puzzler now, having not done a puzzle for years. And so that was happening. they get home yesterday, all the pieces back in the box, the box on the table. Oh, so they're finished? No. They gave up. Got bored.

Wow. That's the thing about puzzles. They are quite boring. Mum was like, it was real hard. It was so difficult. Getting all the pink colors together and all that kind of stuff. She was like, ah, we got bored. So it's back in the box.

This puzzle that I think was quite expensive. We got it from a nice home with store in Muscat. You know what I mean? Like it was quite a nice one. Oh, lovely, darling. And so now in my garage we just added a. another box of shit.

Unfinished box of shit. I've got a puzzle mat now and a puzzle that I'm not going to do. And I just saw it. I was like, oh my gosh. The great news is your second hand stores love a puzzle. There's always a puzzle. This is too elite for that. It's not worn enough.

And do you know what? I just, there's a prick that lives inside of me. And just then when I thought about dropping it off to a... You want to take out some pieces? Oh, God. No. Just to ruin some of the day.

What a monster. Did you confront your mum about this and say, this is where I've got it from. Yeah, I see to it. Not commitment or unable to finish something. Yeah, exactly. Rush into something. Yeah, this is my mum as well who, like, wanted to get into Pilates.

So instead of just like doing some Pilates thing, she bought a reformer Pilates. Oh, God. You know, like a Pilates reformer, sorry, the machine. Yeah. Years ago. Is she still got it? No. That's a deep end.

She had to sell it when they moved up to Auckland. Yeah. But it just sat there, held duvays and clean towers quite nicely. A great way to. Sort of hang a towel temporarily. Sort of a large clothes horse that sort of moves. Yeah, a very expensive clothes horse. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Yeah, I'm sort of clocking this. Something to bring up at therapy. That could be something. Actually, put that on the list. Put that on the list. I think she should start a shared note with Virginia. So she also knows what's coming. And also kind of gives her a heads up before you kind of come into the office like a tornado.

Like a tornado. Yeah, so she can know maybe ahead of time. Start shared note with therapist. Yeah, great. idea.
