Starting point is 00:00:00 From the Zedium Podcast Network, it's Fletchhorn and Haley's Little Bit of Pod. Welcome to A Little Bit of Pod. Okay. I've got chickens, right? Yeah. And they're very handy creatures. You put food in their mouth. They plop eggs out.
Starting point is 00:00:16 I will say the eggs haven't been. Tried enough. To be honest, they went through a long, like, light lay. So when there's a seasonal change, they go through a period where they, like, cut off. They're back laying again. Now I've actually have an abundance. you some in. I'm the same in winter.
Starting point is 00:00:31 I hide inside. Well, my period was late as well. Do you think they're sitting in the pen freaking out going, oh my gosh. At the daily chicken period, basically, is what we've got on our hands. Yeah. So they've been a little bit quiet lately. But we're back? But we're back, we're back lying.
Starting point is 00:00:45 I'll bring some in. This is, okay, something happened. Chickens are gross. I was going to say foul, pun intended. They are. They are. They are. They're gross.
Starting point is 00:00:57 Well, they're little dinosaurs. They eat stuff that people don't. don't expect them to eat. And the inflamed clowack are your one gone? Yeah, and then that prolapse thing and then, and they eat mice hole. And what do you want to eat those eggs? You were saying they can eat a whole mouse hole. If I get a mouse in a mouse straight, I'll just take it to the chickens and throw it.
Starting point is 00:01:15 And one will be like, right now. To the pig. The mouse. I don't know what. I don't know who eats what. I actually don't know what meat. You need a diagram of what animals eat what animals. Chickens just eat everything.
Starting point is 00:01:29 Like they are carnivorous. And when I trap possums and rats, I put them in the maggot bucket, and then the flies lay the maggots, they fall out. The chickens. Love the maggots. Anyway, they lay eggs. Actually, I take back, I don't want your eggs. I want cage eggs from the supermarket.
Starting point is 00:01:42 You know, they've just lived a life on pallets. And their feet haven't even touched dirt. And that's how I like it. And that's actually cleaner than dirty. Nice, sterile meat chicken on all sides. It's beautifully clean. Okay, so check this out. That's one of them.
Starting point is 00:01:59 Wait, what is that? That looks like some kind of orange mushroom. It looks like the top of an orange mushroom. Here's the other one. Broken open looks like a feature with no skin. That's disgusting. So I've done some research. One of the chickens had some sort of malfunction
Starting point is 00:02:13 and they were laying eggs without shells. So that's like a cooked egg. But the egg was all mullied up like a scrambled egg. Yuck, yuck, yeah. Is this a podcast? Is this a podcast? Is this a podcast? It's fucking disgusting.
Starting point is 00:02:27 It's fucking disgusting. So, wait, look. I opened it and I was like, what is that? What is it? I opened the land box. I was like, I would grab all the eggs out. And I was like, I picked it up and it was like rubbery to the touch. And I was like, take a photo and I put it into AI.
Starting point is 00:02:40 I'm like, what's going on here? It's in his hand. He's not wearing gloves. Dude, I broke it open and I sniffed it. Why would you sniff it? And I immediately was dry reaching. No, no. It didn't smell like, you know, a real proper.
Starting point is 00:02:53 It does what? But Carlin raised a good point. Why does it look like a devoured egg? Have you put curry? It's got curry powder in it. It's got curry powder off. So upon research, the chicken laid an egg, no shell involved. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:05 But the yolk and the white became sort of scrambled. And then it had the membrane around it that's on the inside of the, so that held it together while it kind of dried out. So, because why don't eggs cook more? Is it the shell just is enough of a layer to not usually cook an egg? Yeah. No, it's not hot. It's just not hot enough.
Starting point is 00:03:27 Well, yeah, it's just not hot enough. And there's that membrane and the inside, but take the shell off because I guess it's sort of like insulating it as well. That is the grossest thing I'm ever seen. It didn't cook so much as it's set. So you imagine like whipping up a scrambled egg and then putting it in a transparent case and just letting it set? Not cook, just set. I want to like get out of my skin. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:03:48 I don't know I'm so disgusting. I find this stuff fascinating. I'm like, that's amazing. I picked it up. I broke a smith. Oh, dude. It wasn't like, it wasn't an immediate punch in the face, like a rotten egg's an immediate it punched in the face now.
Starting point is 00:04:00 This one got in and worked on me from the inside out. It kind of got into your childhood. It got into the back of the brain and the back of the brain's like, we shouldn't like that? You know like that?
Starting point is 00:04:12 Pooh, poo, poo. And you can't touch on your own. Pooh, that stinks. Yeah, poo. But you can't stop it's going out. It's like when you like scratch your ear or something. Yeah, oh poo, poo.
Starting point is 00:04:20 Pooh, poo. Yeah, when you got an earring and the ear gets infected and you squeeze it and the pus and you're like, poo, poo, poo. Pooh, poo. It was like, and it got into that. And I was like, And I had a bit, and I had a spit, not a spew, but a spit.
Starting point is 00:04:34 And then I was like, ugh. And I went inside and washed my hands. But then my brain's like, remember that thing? We smelled a little while ago. And I was like, ah. See, why would you smell? God, you're weird. I had to know.
Starting point is 00:04:42 I wouldn't give that experience to myself. See, my internal consistency was like a Fijower. Stop showing us this photo. Thank God the listening. But then that one's like a hard. There was two of them. So I was like, I'm going to have to like, you know, put a chicken out of its misery. But it stopped.
Starting point is 00:04:57 Did you tell it? Don't want your eggs. I don't know whatever. I don't want your eggs anymore. I was just saying you don't bring enough eggs in anymore. I don't want them. I don't want them. I want my nice encase.
Starting point is 00:05:06 Yeah. Just steer off. I want my ticket to have never seen the line of day.
