From the ZDEM Podcast Network, it's Fletchfallen and Haley's Little Bit of Pod.
Welcome to A Little Bit of Pod.
I'm having a repeated issue.
This is the third time this has happened.
Now, I do a bit of shopping online, which is always a bit of a gamble when it comes to fit, right?
Oh, close, yeah, horrible.
Sometimes a large is not a large, and sometimes you're a, you know, like you just never know.
But you do your best to take a gamble.
It's something that's going to fit.
Sometimes I'll just order an.
XXXXL just to feel good.
Same and be like, oh my God, I'm way too skinny for this.
Yeah, this is way too big for me.
I have a pair of pants that I hang around in
that I'm always like, oh my God, I'm so tiny
but I literally bought them two sizes too big.
And I'm like, oh my God.
No, but I've been buying, I've been looking for an outfit.
I've got a few like performance things coming up.
So I've been looking for like the perfect sort of stage outfits.
And I've bought three, no, four dresses in the last, say,
three months that are all too short.
And you know, I like a short, I like a mini skirt, but like, I'm talking cheek, cheek hangeth.
Oh, really?
You're long in the torso.
You do have a hung torso.
I'm really long in torso.
Yeah.
But I didn't think I was that sort of un proportionally long in the torso that I cannot
find a single thing.
Well, remember those swimming.
That's short a long girl, but not too short.
You remember those swimming, those swimming bathers.
Andy swims long bod.
Yeah, they cut you in half, didn't they, those.
Yeah, I know, and that's why I got to Andy Swims Longbott.
Long torso talks.
That's, I'm specifically long in the torso.
Well, maybe you need a long torso dress.
Yeah, I do.
But it's just, I just sort of feel like I'm not freakishly.
Yeah.
Tall or anything like that.
So is this, are you calling out the industry here?
Is this the idea?
I'm being body shamed.
Yeah, right.
I'm being torso shamed.
But is it the ass hanging out the look?
No, no, no, I'm talking like, it looks like I'm wearing a t-shirt.
And also, she's.
He doesn't want to be on stage and, you know, because sometimes people look at the low.
The angle.
Yeah, we can't have lips.
You know what I mean?
Like it's a comedy show.
We need focus on the face.
Yeah, they don't need to be seeing the approach to the landing.
No, exactly.
In the runway strip.
Flaps down, flaps down.
And you're like, oh no, I've tried to find something.
This just seems to be this like reoccurring thing.
And they always look at the models.
Who to be fear have slightly lower body fat percentage than me.
They always like, yeah.
They look tall.
This will work.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I'm returning my fourth effing dress today.
And you have to do it in store or like this is online.
We have to send them.
One of them was in Australia.
Two of them were in Australia.
One of them's going back to London.
A lot of carbon footprint on that all the way back to London.
I know.
I know.
I know everyone's like, I want to be tall, but it's not all it's cut out to be.
