Starting point is 00:00:00 Flesh, Vaughan and Hayley's Little Bit of Pod. Great things are brewing at McCafe. The perfect start to every day. Welcome to A Little Bit of Pod. I want to bring up a group chat that Vaughan and I are a part of, not you, Hayley, with Ross Boss. So why, okay, why is there just the boys? It's more for when we...
Starting point is 00:00:20 It's called Dicks, Not Chicks. Right. It's called No Fennies Allowed. Right. No, it's not. This is a group chat. Do you talk about me? No, we use it to goss about people that we used to work with.
Starting point is 00:00:30 I don't really know them. Yeah, the stuff that you don't. Like, we might be having a yarn about something you don't know. It's juicy. Yeah, juicy. And this particular day, I think it was quite juicy, actually. Just the other day, this happened. And then, so we're in this thread.
Starting point is 00:00:44 There's lots of messages, kind of back and forth all day. And then Vaughn comes in with a thread of messages. So imagine we're just gossiping about someone. And then the gossip had stopped. Like, what was the last message before that? And it was like an hour or so. Was it? Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:01:01 And then Vaughn comes into this group chat with Ross Boss and I. I just read about Hatterzee as a race. And these are all separate messages. Basically a monkey that can glide. But someone said you can basically play them as a squirrel. And I like that. Use object as bonus action, which is neat.
Starting point is 00:01:17 Oh, no. Can't take fall damage. And then Ross says, what the fuck are you talking about? And then Vaughn's like, you know, can glide. Oh, wrong window. This is a D&D chat. Yeah. And then Ross says, what the fuck are you talking about? And then Vaughn's like, you know, can glide. Ha ha, oh, wrong window. This is a D&D chat. Yeah. And then Ross says, fuck off, nerd.
Starting point is 00:01:30 Yeah, they were real mean to me after this. And I was like, you fucking nerd. And everyone called me nerd. Yeah. Yeah. And then Ross said, I'm taking you to HR for being a fucking nerd. So yeah. What even?
Starting point is 00:01:42 That is a total different language. A squirrel that can glide Well a gliding's like a flying squirrel You know they jump out But anyway because with the D&D campaign Thank you for the intro to D&D chat The D&D campaign we're kind of getting to finishing it Right
Starting point is 00:01:57 And an exciting part is making your new character That you're going to play in the next one And we're playing like a Like a Sims A semi Sims-esque Yeah I used to love making the characters in the next one. And we're playing like a... Like The Sims. A semi-Sims-esque. Yeah, I used to love making the characters in The Sims. I made all of mine gay. I don't know why I made all of them gay
Starting point is 00:02:12 ever since I was a kid. Were they all in the same house? No, just multiple households. Oh, okay. So you didn't set up some sort of gay big brother. I'd start them off hetero and then the woman would find a woman and the man would find a man.
Starting point is 00:02:24 There was always a bit more work. Carl is nodding. There was always a bit more work in change of the sexuality wasn't there yeah yeah yeah because they'd be like friend like catch up as a friend you're like no no kiss him man just be brave and then what if their option for kissing would be for ages you always get to a point where you're like okay they've had a kid like i'm bored what i do? Have an affair with your bestie. Make him gay, make him gay. What Sims did you play up to?
Starting point is 00:02:50 Four. Oh, you played four? Yeah, yeah, I got four later in life, like as a teenager. Yeah, we've got it on our flat Xbox at the moment, it's very fun.
Starting point is 00:02:58 Can you play it? Maybe I'll get back into it. Yeah, it's on the new consoles. Because it's on the PlayStation, you've got the PlayStation. Loving out my bloody Gay fantasies you know Yeah yeah yeah A couple of hot lesbians
Starting point is 00:03:08 In a beautiful abode Yeah Keep going Keep talking Maybe we'll Maybe we'll flirt for a bit We listen We do some dancing
Starting point is 00:03:16 Yeah okay Flatten dig a daggers girl Yeah I'm a simlish You know Yeah I'm a simlish And then we're gonna bloody
Starting point is 00:03:22 We're gonna bloody woohoo They actually did a link To the podcast about the person That like designed the Simlish? Because it's not an official language, but they did come up with some guidelines on how to make it sound like you're speaking Simlish. No, but I've watched the videos of artists re-recording their songs in Simlish. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:37 And when celebrities, they got celebrities on, who was it? The people who do the voiceover for Sims were like, every now and then there'll be a big name who wants to be part of Sims. Cannot like gibberish talk Simlish to save themselves. You're right. And they even say like some people that were considered like really good improv comedians couldn't do it. Yeah. Because they just keep making the same sound.
Starting point is 00:03:58 Yeah. And you'd slip into a familiar accent eventually. Yeah. Yeah. It was really interesting. Okay. I'd like to listen to that. Yeah. Yeah. I can. It's my 20, accent eventually. Yes. Yeah, yeah. It was really interesting. Oh, okay. I'd like to listen to that. Yeah, yeah. It's my 20,000 hertz podcast series. Oh, you're really into that, aren't you?
Starting point is 00:04:11 It's all about sounds and stuff. You're such a nerd. It's such a nerd. Bringing it back to the character that I'm making for D&D. And we've actually run out of time. Run out of time for a little bit of pod today. Lucky we've got another little bit of pod tomorrow. No, we've run out of time. We've run out of time. Run out of time for a little bit of pod today. Lucky we've got another little bit of pod tomorrow. No, we've run out of time forever.
Starting point is 00:04:30 You have actually run out of forever time. Oh, have we? Yeah. There's no more time. Oh, is that it? That's the show. That's it. Unfortunately, yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:38 Wow. Yeah. All right. That's cool. More time to play D&D, I suppose. Next campaign's going to be pretty time intensive.
