Starting point is 00:00:00 From the ZM podcast network, it's Fletch, Vaughan and Haley's Little Bit of Pod. Welcome to a little bit of pod and the big pod and the live show back after our midwinter break on the 21st of July. Maybe. Well, this is what Vaughan sees every time, but he's got a mortgage. I was actually just done. It's a large mortgage. Emailing management, it's looking unlikely at this stage. What did you say? What did you say?
Starting point is 00:00:23 Well, they said. Oh, they said. They said it's looking unlikely at this stage. What did you say? What did you say? Well, they said, Oh, they said it's looking unlikely. Oh, right. And I'm just emailing back pretty much what you said. Yeah. I've got a mortgage to pay. Yeah. How the tables have turned. Now he wants to stay.
Starting point is 00:00:34 Yeah, my, my. Hey, you know, I'm in this streak of losing things at the moment. I've lost my favorite pair of undies. I've just realized. You lost your mind last week. Lost my mind. Yeah. I've lost my favourite pair of undies, I've just realised. You lost your mind last week. Lost my mind. Yeah. I've lost a blazer, I've lost a pyjama set.
Starting point is 00:00:50 Yep. I bought a new shirt when I was overseas and I just lost, and I left it in the hotel room. Do you not do a sweep? Don't do a sweep. We've been through this. I'm never in the right state of mind when I'm leaving a hotel. Never. I always look under the bed.
Starting point is 00:01:06 Yeah, same. I look under the bed, but I never look twisted in the sheets. Remember I lost a Satisfier Pro in the sheets in a hotel room. I am on a losing streak at the moment. Okay. My latest item, remember I got those vintage yellow tinted glasses? Oh, they look so good on you too.
Starting point is 00:01:22 Many compliments. Many compliments? I even wore them out to a clurb. You did? You good on you too. Many compliments. Many compliments. I even wore them out to a clareb. You did wear them to a clareb. I saw photos of that when I woke up. I was like, Jesus, she must have been pissed. She looks like Ferrin Lothian in Las Vegas with these things on. They felt clareb appropriate, they're beach appropriate, they're fashion appropriate,
Starting point is 00:01:39 they're gone. I've left them on the plane. They're gone. Oh no. Cause I- Now wait a minute, all is not lost when one leaves one's- I filled in a form. Yeah, I was gonna say.
Starting point is 00:01:48 Okay. But they don't say like Prada, do you know what I mean? And I wonder if they'll just be like tube glasses, but they were vintage. Yeah, like if I was cleaning out a plane, I'd be like, well, these aren't worth anything. You know? Do you know why they- cause I wear them. Cause when I'm dusty and I fly home, I am hat on, cap on, sunglasses on, headphones on, against the thing, don't touch me, don't talk to me.
Starting point is 00:02:13 Like Dean D. Like Harris Hilton in the 2000s hiding from the paparazzi. Yeah, it looks like I'm hiding from the paparazzi. That people would walk down the aisle of a plane. You're wearing a Von Dutch hat. Yeah, juicy couture across the arse and I'm just saying, please don't recognise me. And so I wore them the whole flight home. And then at one point, just towards the end, I took them off to do a form or whatever,
Starting point is 00:02:35 or get my stuff together. And I put them in the little side pocket. Do you not do a sweep of the seat before you leave? I'm not in a state when I'm leaving a flight. Yeah, but we've got to start doing sweeps, Hayley. I know. I'm talking, like I've lost some expensive stuff recently. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:51 Well, you've got to start sweeping. I don't want to. Drives me nuts when I lose. I just hate losing things. You ever seen an old photo of yourself and you're like, oh, what happened to that sweatshirt? I love it. I hate it.
Starting point is 00:03:01 Yeah, and you just remember. Yeah, or a t-shirt. When you lose a favorite sweater or a t-shirt, oh, because you only have like five. Yeah. So it hurts. One of my favourite t-shirts of all time, I got it in an op shop, you can't replace it, gone. Gone.
Starting point is 00:03:14 And you see it, yeah you see it in photos, you're like, devastated. Heartbreaking. Where are you now? If you love something, let it go. If it was ever truly yours, it'll come back to you. Well, except for cool t-shirts, sweatshirts and vintage glasses. I've filled in the Air New Zealand form. So maybe it'll happen.
Starting point is 00:03:23 Maybe it'll come back to me and then I'll know what it was meant to be.
