Oh, beautiful day for the beach. And I went with our friend, lovely James. Who's big hearted, James. Who's leaving us, going overseas. I'm actually really upset about that. It wasn't very big hearted of him. No, he's absolutely ditching all of us. He's left a big hole in our hearts. He's ditching all of us in April, but he's actually leaving.

There's a bunch of us going. It's a shame he's not going to get to see my Comedy Fest show. I wonder if he could change it it's only a month later I'll talk to him or you could just tour it maybe maybe you could go to London but part of his leaving New Zealand

is leaving in April from America or from Mexico and so he books some flights and then he gets an email while we're at the beach and the new flights have him staying overnight in Montreal. Right. Whereas he was just going to be transiting through Canada and leaving us to live in London.

Yeah. And so he gets this email. He's like, well, I'm going to ring Air Canada because this is like you can get a refund and then just book a better flight. So we start, we get to the beach, we set up the deck chairs and he we start. We get to the beach. We set up the deck chairs, and he rings them. Deck chairs at the beach. My God, must be nice. Must be nice.

He's like, do you mind if I have this on speakerphone? I'm like, I don't care at all. At the beach! At the beach. And then so we get to the point where it's like, he's been on hold for 20 minutes. They haven't answered. Keeps going.

What does Canada play for their whole music? Just a really simple. Justin Bieber. Alanis Morissette. i'm like james you kind of need to swim it's like really hot oh my god he's like yeah but i've been on hold so i'm gonna have to bring my phone and so my god we walked into the water and james has his phone out of the water for the we're pretty in the water for like 15 minutes and then i'm like oh i'm getting a bit cold i'm gonna go out he's like okay y'all come we go back and then i need to swim i'm getting cold in and out in and out bloody hell so how deep did he go just to the waist no we yeah we only went because the beach you have to work it's one of those beaches you have to walk out like four kilometers to get above your head up to your titties and then so we end up going back and then I'd say maybe 15 minutes after we'd been in the water,

they answered after like an hour. I love that he took them for a little sojourn into the Pacific Ocean to have a little swim with her. But I've done that where I've been, I was on, I was trying to change a flight, I think it was with Qantas, and I had my ear pods in, and I just went to the gym

and ended up working out for like half an hour before they answered. Yeah, I've done that before as well. When you're like, well, I'll just, I'll go take myself somewhere. Like you don't sit there and do nothing. You do, that's when you do your admin. Yeah. When you know you're going to be on hold with someone. Or when you, you know, go into the ocean.

Yeah, or go for a swim. Exactly. He, James, would have been devastated. I can actually picture his reaction if he dropped the phone. After 45, 50 minutes at that point, if he dropped the phone into the ocean. Yeah, but also dropping it would have been a very James thing to do. It would have been. I know.

I was like, don't you drop that phone. Well, did he get his flight sorted? Yeah, they cancelled it because they made the changes that you're eligible. Fantastic. For your money back and stuff. So it was worth it in the end. It was worth it in the end.
