Little Bit of Pod. How are you feeling today? How's the groin? Oh, I tell you what, yesterday I did a lot of exercises.
Starting point is 00:00:19 I got like five printouts of exercises from the physio. Oh God. And did you actually do them? Yeah, I actually did them. Oh, God. Like for the first time. I mentally start feeling better and then immediately stop. So I think already today I'm feeling a lot better.
Starting point is 00:00:33 I've got like an abductor strain, like a really tight, like at the top of the groin, like the top of the waist. I wonder how you got that. So why do you look at me like that? He's been doing a lot of abductions lately. Have you been abducted? No, it's because I don't work out my back because my back has a slipped disc.
Starting point is 00:00:54 So then, because I'm not strong on my back, my front fucked out, basically. Yeah, right. Anyway, so she's printing out all these exercises. The lovely lady physio. and she shows me this. Did you see the girl that I saw?
Starting point is 00:01:09 No, different one. Okay. Different one. And so she prints out all these exercises, and she points at this one exercise, and it's a hard one. You know those foam rollers, those long foam rollers? Oh, yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:01:23 That you're like, how much could this possibly hurt? It's a foam roller. And then you're like. Yeah, they can fuck you up. Yeah. So imagine you're on all fours on the ground, but your knees are on the foam roller. Yes. So you're on all fours and your knees are on the foam roller.
Starting point is 00:01:39 Yeah. And then you lift an opposite arm and leg off the foam roller. Yeah. It's very hard. Well, that's hard enough to and leg off the foam roller. Yeah. It's very hard. Well, that's hard enough to do without incorporating the foam roller. And then, so she points at this exercise, and she's like, you know what? You know what? Somebody's seen Lisa Carrington, gold medalist.
Starting point is 00:01:56 Wow. Dame Lisa Carrington, do this on a Swiss ball. Oh, she's incredible. What, balancing on a Swiss ball? Balancing on a Swiss ball. And so, obviously, I message Dame Lisa Carrington Oh good With a screenshot of this exercise
Starting point is 00:02:11 And I says physio folklore Has it this urban legend That you can do this on a Swiss ball Did you hear back from Dame She did message back And you know she's very modest She didn't say yes I, I can do that. She just said, what did she say?
Starting point is 00:02:29 Oh, well, we have a lot. I also had a message from a dame. Which one? Dame Jacinda Ardern. Jacinda. Yeah, Jacinda. Tac Cinta. Tac Cinta.
Starting point is 00:02:41 Jab Cinta. So I sent it to her And I With the photo I said you know Rumour has it you can do this She said I reckon you can do it On a Swiss ball

Starting point is 00:02:57 It can't be flirting with a dame The first one's just like A bead of sweat You know like Good luck kind of Yeah And I said look I'll give it a nudge
Starting point is 00:03:04 And let you know how I go So you go on all fours on a swiss ball yes you put your leg i'm out so anyway so i wouldn't be able to balance on a swiss ball i get to the gym and i'm doing i'm doing all the exercises and then i get to this one and i'm doing it i'm like fuck this is on a foam roller i did on the foam roller i did like three sets sets of 15. I was like, it's hard. And then I'm like, well, I'm never going to be able to do this. I was thinking if a friend could help me up, I could give it a nudge, but they'd have to be there to catch me. Dame Lisa Carrington.
Starting point is 00:03:36 So anyway, and then out of the corner of my eye, I see the, what do you call it, a BOSU ball? Oh, the BOSU. The BOSU. The half. Yes, so it's a half Swiss Swiss ball but it's got a plastic bottom correct and so I'm like I'm going to try it on this
Starting point is 00:03:47 on the Bosu yeah and I did that thing that people do and I set up my camera to record it okay oh how embarrassing
Starting point is 00:03:53 I know it's so embarrassing what for to send it to Dame Lisa Carrington yeah to send it to Dame Lisa Carrington if I managed to pull this off yeah and I put it on there it was so hard
Starting point is 00:04:01 like it was so hard even on the half ball even on the half ball like because you put one knee and then the roller wants to tip off. Wait, you're on the half ball on the roller. I'm on the roller on the half.
Starting point is 00:04:16 Wait, so when she does it on the Swiss ball, she puts a Swiss ball on top of the roller. No, she puts the roller on the Swiss ball. And she's on, I know. Well, this is what urban physio. No. No, no, no. She's not. I imagine she the roller on the Swiss ball. And she's on, I know. Well, this is what urban physios. No. No, no, no. She's not.
Starting point is 00:04:27 I imagine she was just on the Swiss ball. Same. So am I. So she's got a roller on top of a Swiss ball? The roller is on the Swiss ball. This is why I messaged her. A roller has no business being on top of a Swiss ball? This is why I messaged her.
Starting point is 00:04:37 That's insanity. I'll say it. Fucking hell. She deserves her game hood. I know. She's obviously like an insane athlete. You should have to be able to do this before you can accept any title. Absolutely.
Starting point is 00:04:48 Any title. So did you nail it? Did you get it? So I did make a couple of videos and I'm like, it was- Please send them to the group. I've got to see this. Please send them to the group. Okay.

Wait, where are your arms? Is that what you imagined? On a Swiss ball at the front, too. No, they're on the ground.
Starting point is 00:05:13 You're on a roller on the front as well. No, your arm, one arm is on the floor and one's off the ground. So how is Lisa Carrington putting just the sheer height? I don't know. This is what I thought. If you've got your arms on the ground. Look, I don't know. Look, and this is a video of've got your arms on the ground. Look, I don't know. Starting point is 00:05:27 It's very hard. Okay, so you do that and then you put your arms on the ground. Okay, so the arms are flat on the ground. Then the knees are on the roller and on the Swiss ball. And then you lift a leg. I would just...
Starting point is 00:05:39 It's hard. Yeah, you see the calf definition in this video, Hayley? Anyway, I know his definition. So what I did is I took a screenshot of when my leg looks like it's doing real good. And then I, with the drawing function in Instagram, I drew the rest of the Swiss ball. Fantastic. Yes. And I sent that to Dame Lisa Carrington.
Starting point is 00:06:01 Oh, she did say, when I said I'd give it a nudge, she did say, I claim no responsibility if you get injured. And then I messaged her and she said, that's actually very good. That's what she sent me. She fell for your drawing. She fell for my drawing, so I don't think she knew it was a whole Swiss ball. She's an incredible athlete, but
