Welcome to A Little Bit of Pod and we're back with the live show and the podcast tomorrow, July 15.
We thought what we'd do today is just kind of recap how we're feeling after our Midwinter Christmas Podcast special.
I'll say it.
Chuffed. Chuffed. Still a little hoarse. Chafed. I feel a little hoarse. You're chafed. we're feeling after our midwinter Christmas podcast special I'll say it, chuffed
still a little hoarse
chafed

I had a lot of fun
and I definitely
held myself together a lot better
than last time
remember getting home
I felt a lot better the last time. Remember getting home?
It was a lot.
I felt a lot better the next day.
I didn't feel hungover, which was lovely. And we got a lot more of them done.
We got to ep 10 recording it, and then I was like,
shit, this is where we got to last time before we had to tap out
because it was getting inappropriate.
Well, dear listener, it nearly didn't happen.
It nearly didn't happen because I was vacuuming, cleaning up on Saturday morning.
I've got a few chips, a few chip crumbs around.
We did do that thing, though, where we all kind of pitched in at the end of the night and cleaned up.
And that was helpful.
It wasn't too bad.
It wasn't too horrendous.
Yeah, got rid of all the rubbish.
But in the morning, I was like, I'll just run the hoover around.
I'm hoovering around the table.
Get hoover.
Where we recorded the podcast special.
And just as I get to the place where producer Jared was sitting
with all of our recording equipment.
Who, I want to say, five episodes before we finished,
exclaimed to the room, I'm fucked.
Yeah, I don't remember Yeah
Well, it was like under where you were sitting
At my dining table
That I thrust the Dyson
Of course
And at the very last moment
Where I sucked up a tiny
I'd say one centimetre by one centimetre
If that black piece of plastic
Right
I thought, wait.
What was there?
And then I hear it go up the tube.
Ting, ting, ting, ting.
Ting, ting, tangly ting.
I'm like, wait, was that an SD card?
Oh, for fuck's sake.
I empty out.
I empty out.
He's got it in a Ziploc.
All the dust and the chips from my Dyson onto a pile on the carpet.
And I go through and
I pick out what is a Sandus 32.
How did you see that?
Gig.
On the whilst vacuuming.
Do you see the gold?
Do you see the gold?
A little refresh chip.
I've got great eyes.
I've got great eyes.
You know what?
It's lucky I've got great eyes and great eyesight because this, ladies and gentlemen, when I
inserted it into my computer at home,
is six and a half hours of podcast recording.
Oh, my God.
Jared!
Which obviously worked because you've just heard
for the last couple of weeks all of the episodes.
But we came, dear listener,
fairly close to you not hearing any of the last
two and a half weeks of podcasts.
Why did you take it out of the thing, Jared?
I have no idea.
Because sober me would be like, nah, leave it in there.
That's the safest place for it.
Yeah.
Why would I take it out?
Because I thought, had it just fallen out?
Nah, because you have to click it in and click it out.
Yeah.
It's hard to get in and out.
Wow.
It was an accidental ejection, perhaps.
I don't think so.
I think drunk Jared was just like, and now I will get the card and I will put a card
safe somewhere.
Put a card safe somewhere in their bag.
And then just fell on the floor if the card was not a safe.
This card was not a safe.
Is that a peanut butter whiskey I see?
Yeah.
Yes.
So I think if, look. I would say the producers.
The messiest.
Shannon left and then Kate was suddenly back in the room looking for her handbag.
Which she'd taken downstairs with her.
Which, and then I rang Carwen and was like, she's looking for her handbag.
And Carwen's like, no, I have a handbag.
She knows this.
She's looking for her phone.
She's looking for her phone.'s looking for her phone It was rude
Because they all said
You would be the messiest
Yeah you did
Yeah you did
Well
Producer Jarrod
Here you go
Six and a half hours
Of podcast recording
Thank you very much
I'm so sorry
In this glad zip bag
For you
Thanks
Good times
Good fun
