All right, I'm Pastor Kenneth McFarland. I am the Associate Pastor here at 2819 Church.
We are in the eighth week of this sermon series called The Miracle.
The God of Miracles.
The Master of Miracles. The Wonder of miracles, the master of miracles, the wonder of miracles, the maker of miracles is a miracle in himself.
Right. So I want to thank everyone that came today.
If this is your first time, we want to welcome you to experiencing one, the Holy Spirit.
I don't need to speak on his behalf, but I want to introduce you to him.
And secondly, to the rowdy bunch of rambunctious 2819 people.
Somebody told me that we're a different breed.
Y'all believe that?
Cut from a different cloth, huh?
Thank you to all the online family that's watching from overseas to in the nation, everywhere around the world, everywhere around the world.
We are. We're about to continue with our understanding of what Matthew was writing about today.
Oh, I got some good news.
Anybody know what's happening
next Sunday?
Baptism is
sure that you are here
for baptism.
As of right now, we have
185 candidates for baptism. As of right now, we have 185 candidates for baptism.
And I know for a fact, we had a lot more that were calling saying, well, what can I do?
Because I still want to get baptized. So we got
a little over 200 that's going to get baptized, right?
And I had a phone call yesterday.
I had a phone call and it was a, for me, it was a great phone call.
And the person who I was talking to told me to make sure that I told you that he was going to be there next Sunday.
Y'all know who I'm talking about?
So let's do this. Um, let's, let's give him a, uh, a warm, inviting, loving.
Thank you for shepherding us.
Uh, pastor Phillip, we love you. So Pastor Phillip wanted me to make sure that you guys know
that he's going to be here next Sunday
as we dip in people.
Who getting dipped?
Who getting dipped?
So next Sunday ain't the Sunday to miss.
Amen?
Amen? Amen? Amen?
All right.
We're grateful for the Mitchell family and everything that they have done for us.
They've literally sacrificed their life for us.
That's not an exaggeration.
They literally sacrificed their life for us.
Atlanta was not a place that they wanted to come to.
Y'all didn't know that?
Yeah, they didn't want to come here.
But God told them to come.
And instead of fighting God, they obeyed.
What is that?
God says he loves obedience better than.
So instead of sacrificing and going where he wanted to go, he obeyed.
And you guys are the fruit of that obedience.
So if y'all want to do anything, thank God.
For the blessing that he gave you because the
person that he placed over this house
over your soul shows
how much he loves you.
That he redirected him to come here
for you.
So that he can
talk to you.
Pour into you.
Love on you.
And don't feel some type of way because you're not in the building.
Because he made sure that through the cameras he could still get to you.
So let's give Pastor Phillip one more hand.
All right, we're going to hop straight into this, right?
Thank y'all.
Love y'all.
The last time I was up here, I told you guys that I had an incident where I had to go to the hospital. And for the life of me, I thought, man, something's really wrong. What I didn't tell you guys was I was fighting, battling, arguing with myself and with God, and really pushing
back because I didn't want to go to the hospital. Am I the only one like that? so I'm in good cap company. Y'all ain't going to judge me when I started talking,
right? Some of y'all lying. All right. I didn't want to go to the hospital and I wind up going
anyway. And it made me really think about some things in life.
We don't like going to the doctor.
And that's, it's a really,
it's a really scary thing to me,
especially me being in the age that I am now.
I know I look young, but I'm actually 40.
I turned 41 this year. And thank y'all. Thank you. Thank you. You know what I'm saying? You know, my wife
got a good one and she did. She did. It made me really think about all the times that I've heard
about people go to the hospital and they went at the last moment and then they had to get something amputated or they lost their life because they didn't go fast enough. I discredit this newer generation of individuals because in the newer generation, you're understanding
that it's essential to go and get seen. A lot more of you are going to a therapist. A lot more of you
are going to the hospital. A lot more of you are going to get your annual checkups. But it's still a small fraction of the individuals who just choose not to go.
And I had to really like look up and find out like why.
Why is it that we don't like going to the doctor?
Why don't we like going to the hospital?
It made no sense to me, especially when you really understand that it's life-saving or life-changing or life-altering or it can heal you or fix you or it can bring you great comfort.
And one of the reasons that I noticed was we're afraid.
We are afraid of going to the doctor, the hospital, because what are they going to say?
What are they going to do? but some of us it's the fear of the unknown that gets us that if we have a headache and some of us are our our worst doctors because we go on web md
and some of y'all be like well i got blurry, and now you think you got an aneurysm.
It don't.
You think that you're about to die because you don't watch three seasons of House or
The Good Doctor, and you're trying to figure out what's wrong with you by looking online
instead of going to the expert.
You've become your own expert in your own mind
of what you think is wrong with you.
We're afraid.
We're afraid of what they're gonna say. We're afraid of what they're going to say.
We're afraid if we actually have something. We're afraid if something is really wrong.
I've had this pain for a while. What if it is cancer?
I've had this problem for a while. What if it is my worst fear? The second thing I noticed was we're ashamed.
It's not even that I'm afraid of the unknown. It's I know what I did.
That means that I have to go to the doctor and I know that I've been doing the wrong things.
I know I haven't been running.
I haven't been eating right.
I've been eating all the wrong things.
But I don't want to go to the doctor because I'm ashamed of what they might say to me.
How they look at me.
That I actually have to look in a mirror.
And somebody has to tell me, yeah, you are this. You do have diabetes. You do have an issue because that I thought of, right, was affordability.
We live in the Western Hemisphere.
We live where in order to have insurance, you got to pay $600 to $800 a month just to go and get seen. What is it going to cost me to go to the doctor and get seen?
Even if I do go and they tell me what's wrong,
can I even afford the medicine that they're trying to prescribe?
Can I afford the treatment that they're trying to give?
Now I have to decide on if I can survive long enough to try and take care of my family long
enough with whatever it is or go here and get hit with a bill that might crush my family.
We feel like it's not affordable. And then some of us are just unaware, even though we're not really unaware, because we
all should know that we should go and get regular checkups because we don't get regular checkups.
Some of us are walking around with slight things and just bypass it
and don't care because it's nothing. it's whatever. We're unaware of the sickness
that we have. We're unaware of the issues. And I know right now, some of y'all are looking
at me crazy like, okay, Pastor Kenny, what does any of this have to do with the God of miracles. Let's go to the scripture.
Matthew 9, verses 9 through 13.
As Jesus passed on from there,
he saw a man called Matthew.
What is the book that we're in?
So it's safe to assume that this is the same Matthew that wrote the book.
Sitting at the tax booth and he said to him, follow me. As he rose, then followed him. And as
Jesus, and he rose and followed him. And as Jesus reclined at the table in the house, behold, many
tax collectors and sinners came and were reclining with Jesus and his disciples. And when the Pharisees saw this, they said to his
disciples, why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners? But when he, he being who?
He being Jesus heard it. He said. Those who are all well.
Have no need of a physician.
But those who are sick.
Go and learn what this means.
I desire mercy.
Obedience.
Love.
And not sacrifice.
For I came.
Not to call the righteous, but sinners.
So right here, Jesus calls himself a physician.
And a physician would be considered in those days what we would consider to be a doctor. So it just threw me for a loop that the thing that I was going through
is sort of the thing that we all go through. We don't want to go and see the doctor.
Why don't we want to go and see the doctor? Because we're afraid.
What is the doctor going to say to me?
What is Jesus going to say to me if I come to him?
Is he going to make me go to a bush in Africa?
Is he going to make me
give all my money away?
Is he going to make me give all my money away? Is he going to make me leave my boyfriend
or leave my girlfriend?
What is he gonna make me do?
The fear of the unknown.
How many of you are afraid to talk to God
or run to him because you don't know what he's going
to do or say? And I have a couple of helpful sort of tips. I feel like a nurse in a waiting room.
You know how the nurse comes along and you see that person just, oh, and they have to come and it's okay. It's all right. The doctor is loving. He's gentle. He's kind. He's patient with you. And he's going to make sure that you're going
to be okay. So I'm going to give you some kind words to show you that our doctor. Is okay. Okay.
Proverbs 3, 5 and 6 says.
Trust in the Lord.
With all your heart.
And do not lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways.
Acknowledge him.
And he will make straight your paths.
We read this, but do we really understand it?
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own under.
So let's put this in real context.
You were sick.
There are things wrong with you.
And he said, even though you are sick and there are things wrong with you, I still want you to trust.
But I'm going through a storm.
I know that.
And I still want you to trust.
Y'all a little hard pressed to save me huh I know exactly what you're going
through where you are and what's going on in your life and I'm not saying that it is not real
I'm not saying that your issues are not real I'm not saying that your problems are not real I'm not saying that your issues are not real. I'm not saying that your problems are not real.
I'm not saying that you are not in a storm.
What I am saying is, even though you are in a storm,
you should still trust.
This is the reason why when Peter was out in the storm,
we didn't get to that part yet,
but I mentioned it the last time I was up here.
The reason why when Peter was out in the storm, because there was a storm that was raging against the boat
he was able to walk on water which is impossible
but none of that mattered because he put his trust in
and as long as you put your trust in god
nothing else matters.
Half of me is trying not to get super hype because I want to get hype.
Half of me wants to really preach this because the truth of the matter is a lot of y'all like y'all need to stop looking at your storm and start looking at Jesus.
And I hear clapping.
That sounds cool.
But the truth of the matter is, do you really trust him?
How much do you trust him? do you trust them enough to leave do you trust
them enough to walk away do you trust them enough to have faith to do the
thing that he tells you to do nobody else has done that before. Amen. Okay, you're going to be the first.
Do you trust him to start the business?
Do you trust him to shut down the business?
Do you really trust him?
But it hurt.
They hurt me.
And I still want you to be around them.
But I don't like them.
I know.
And you need them.
So I want you to be there.
But I'm not good at this.
Okay, cool.
You don't have to be.
I'm not good at this. Okay, cool. You don't have to be. I'm good.
You don't have to be an expert in whatever it is God is telling you to do. Amen. The 12 disciples were common were common men fishermen they were just regular dudes
that that's like the the trash guy or the um the one that comes around and fixes the plumbing
hey like they're not studious and and and they're not big on on on. They're not, they're just regular guys. And God said, follow me and I will make.
But you're so afraid of, but I don't know.
I've, I've never, I didn't go to school for this.
I don't care if you went to school.
Follow.
But you're afraid.
Or you're ashamed.
Did I already hit a button?
Because God know what you did last night.
He know what you did last week. He know what you did last night you know what you did last week you know what you did last
month you know all of it and for some of us we need to have the heart of David. Psalms 51, verse 9 and 10.
God, Father, hide your face from my sin
and blot out all of my iniquities.
Create in me a clean heart, oh God,
and renew a right spirit within me.
We're so ashamed, we can't even come to God and ask him for the thing that we need which is honestly I know for a fact I am a liar
a cheater a backstabber a a deceiver. Ain't that the song?
Heartbreaker.
You know what you've done.
And so does he.
And he knows what you're going to do next week. And he knows what you're going to do next week.
And he knows what you're going to do the week after that.
And he knows what you're going to do a year from now.
And he still looked at you and said, follow. this this right here was life-changing because i was so ashamed of everything that i did in my life i know what i've done i know what i've done in the darkness of my heart i know how bad i've been
you don't know me. But he does.
And because of my shame, I told him, there's no way I can honestly follow you because I know what I did.
And he said, follow me.
And I was like, how can I do that?
Because I know what I did.
And then God had to check me real fast and say, who are you?
So even now, this is what I'm asking you. Who are you to say can out sin him
you think you can out run him
you're ashamed and instead of saying god help me fix me
perform heart surgery on me what we're instead telling him is no not me
not me no no no no because i know what i've done not me
but potentially that could be because is it really affordable to me?
What is it going to cost me to really follow you?
Do I have to stop talking to?
Do I need to start running to? What is it going to cost you to follow God?
That's a real question. I want you to think about this. Legit, what is it going to cost you to follow God even if you don't look at anything else God said follow
me he said follow me he's telling you you. He's telling you, follow.
And I will make you.
But you're more worried about the things of this world than the things of the eternal. I get really depressed sometimes when I
talk to my brothers and sisters, and they're so worried about the carnal things of the world. And
I'm not saying that, you know, like things aren't necessary. Money's necessary, right? Money's necessary. You got to pay bills, so on and so forth.
But what's more necessary for your soul to be in heaven or for you to live a couple of years
down here and everything be okay to you? And how much do you need right
I know I've talked about Kate Spade taking her life she was a millionaire
we talked about all these people we just had a millionaire
buy a submarine
to go and see something.
He didn't count the cost of what it was going to take to actually ride in the submarine. I don't
know if y'all know the full story. The submarine only had a certain amount of hours. It's going to
take almost all of those hours to just get down there. What is it going to cost you to follow him? Colossians 2, 13 through
14 says, and you who were dead in your transgressions and the uncircumcision of your
flesh, God made alive together with him,
having forgiven us all our trespasses
by canceling the record of debt
that stood against us with its legal demands.
This he set aside, nailing it to the cross.
Who paid for it?
Who paid for it? Who paid for it?
People ain't gonna tell you this.
Pastors, preachers, whatever,
they're not gonna tell you this.
He paid for it.
He just told you to follow.
He paid for it.
He's just telling you to.
But you're so caught up on what you feel like you're going to lose
that you wind up losing it all.
He paid for it.
First off, he created it.
He made it.
He said it.
He had everything in place.
We want it and everything that it is,
not knowing that the creator of those things,
the one who can make it, is saying, follow me. And we're choosing, no, I would rather
just go after the things versus the creator. Created or creator. I'm telling you right now,
if I worked in a money printing processing place,
if I worked at a money printing processing place
and the processing place said,
hey, I want you to be a part of this company.
And I said, you know what?
That sounds cool and all, but I would rather just stay doing security.
Or I would rather just keep, you know, picking up the trash and everything else around, and I'll just collect the check.
And the company's clearly trying to tell me, you know, we're the ones that make the money that pay you, right?
And we're trying to give you everything that you need and some.
But you rather keep doing the little things of the world over the big thing over the universe
you want the little things of the world over the one who created the heavens and the earth this is this is this is absolutely crazy to me
because he paid for you to follow him there was no way that you could follow him beforehand
there was no way for us to get to heaven before Jesus and Jesus, now that I've made a way and I've paid the way, I want you to follow me.
But you're still choosing not to.
Because you would rather have stupid things.
That's what I call it. and then i know for my quote-unquote atheist brothers and sisters or the agnostics or the
ones who want to say that they can have their own way eat their cake have it and eat it too
cake and ice cream so on and so forth whatever analogy you want to use they always try and bring up this thing of
hey well what about the person who's in the bush who never hears
like you you have an answer for everything else but what about the one who's unaware
are we really unaware of the gospel
oh y'all didn't know what I was talking about this whole time, huh?
We're afraid of the gospel. We're ashamed
because of the gospel, because it points out our flaws and our issues. We think that we can't afford the gospel
even though Jesus said he already paid for it.
And then we try and make an excuse of
we didn't know about the gospel.
And this is what the scriptures say.
Romans 2, 12 through 16.
For all have sinned without the law
will also perish without the law.
And all who have sinned under the law
will be judged by the law.
For it is not the hearers of the law
who are righteous before God,
but the doers of the law who will be justified.
You have to be what? Doers of the law? Okay. That means that I can't just say that I follow Jesus
and then do whatever I want to do. Okay. Okay.
I'm sorry.
For when Gentiles who did not have the law by nature do what the law requires, they are a law to themselves.
Even though they do not have the law,
they show that the work of the law is written on their hearts.
While their conscience conscience with knowledge.
Also bears witness.
And their conflicting thoughts.
Accuse or even excuse them.
On the day when according to my gospel.
God judges the secrets of men by Christ Jesus
even the man in the bush who has never heard Jesus
has a conscience with knowledge of God written on their heart. He already predestined for them to have it written on
the tablets of their heart. And even when their thoughts go against what their conscience says,
they have to choose which one to follow. They can either go with their thought that lets them do
whatever they want to do or their conscience that tells them to do the right thing.
So you can't even be unaware
of the gospel.
And I know even now
some of you are asking,
Pastor Kenny, this is cool.
This is like, oh man, like, okay, like we need to go
to the doctor. But again, what does this have to do with the God of miracles?
Well, if we really look at this account, right? And this account is not just in Matthew.
It's also in Mark and Luke.
It's the same account.
In Mark and Luke, they actually call him Levi.
In Matthew, they call him Matthew.
And the reason being is because Matthew is Greek.
Levi is Hebrew.
They both mean the same thing.
So it's the same name
just different terms
the difference between Kenneth and
handsome
you know
thank you babe
yeah
no that's what my name really means
you know what i'm talking about
but if we really look at this account
we have to really go back to matthew chapter 9 verse 8 matthew chapter 9 verse 8 because it said
that he arrived at home jesus arrived at home and as he arrived at home. Jesus arrived at home.
And as he arrived at home, that's when they willed the man down from the roof.
And the man encountered Jesus.
And Jesus said something so out of pocket to the Jews.
Elder Eric preached this, right? He said,
your sins are forgiven. And they were perplexed. They were undone. How can you forgive sins?
That makes no sense. How can you do that? You are not God. And then he said, which one is easier is it easier for me to tell this man to get up and walk
or is it easier for me to say his sins are forgiven and just like elder Eric preached he
said well with one of them you have to have some strong evidence something has to happen
if I say get up and walk that means he has to get up and walk the Jews have not been
ignorant to miracles in this time they've been following Jesus for some time now
y'all don't get it Jesus miracles were not new to them they saw the lame walk. They saw lepers being healed. They saw people being
miraculous. They could see once they couldn't see. They saw all these things. So miracles were not
new to them. What was new to them was somebody forgiving their sins. They never heard of this
outside of someone taking a bull or a calf or something to an altar and it being sacrificed,
they always knew that it was always about sacrifice. And here Jesus is saying it's about obedience.
So this was new to them. How I know it was new?
Matthew chapter 9 verse 8.
When the crowd saw it, they were afraid and they glorified God who had given such authority to men.
They were not afraid when he was doing miracles before.
Jesus.
The people were not afraid of him doing miracles before Jesus the people were not afraid of him doing miracles before as a matter of fact it said that every time he did a miracle more people came
and they followed him so now you have an account where he is saying your sins are
forgiven and they are losing it.
They are afraid.
This is something new.
And we have oversaturated the world so much to think that all our sins are forgiven.
And we can keep sinning and everything is okay.
Instead of obeying and following.
We've oversaturated the church thinking that all I have to do is just pay my tithes.
And I get my penance.
I say a couple Hail Marys. All I have to do is give an offering and they overlook what I did.
All I have to do is buy a building for the church.
Buy us a building.
But we're not overlooking what you're doing all i have to do is just sacrifice you know what i'll serve i'll be up here and i'll sing
i'll be out there and i'll set up i'll. And in that process, they won't look at my sin
and God will be pleased. But God sees your sin. And just because you think that you're doing
something doesn't mean that you're actually following him.
The authority that Jesus had was to forgive sins,
not to look the other way at them.
And some of you are hoping
that he just looks the other way.
You think I'm lying. Okay, cool. How many of us, and don't, you don't have to raise your hand. I'm
not asking you to raise your hand because I'm not asking you to put yourself out there. How many of
us knew that we were going to do something wrong and we tried to cut the lights off
so no one could see?
Right?
As if you can hide from God.
We constantly think
that we can get over on him.
That's the problem. We think we can get over on him. That's the problem.
We think we can get over on him.
What do you think is going to happen in that day
when he's like, man, I told you to follow me.
Instead, you did your own thing.
What do you really want so much so that jesus used a different word in the scriptures when coming to this account that we just read he used the word follow
some of y'all looking at me like man follow is everywhere in the scriptures
not this word this word is called a cool to fail and it is only used in Matthew
Mark and Luke and it only pertains to when they follow Jesus. Jesus used a word that is not used anywhere else in the
scripture when he told these men, follow me. A coolithio, properly to be in the same way
with a company, especially as a disciple. And that don't make no sense until you really break it down.
Properly to be in the same way means I'm going to walk, step inside with.
So I can't do what I want to do.
I have to follow.
I can't do what I want to do. I have to follow. I can't do what I want to do.
I have to follow.
I can't do what I want to do.
I have to follow.
And Jesus is telling y'all, follow me.
Elder Milton, follow me.
Follow me.
This is what he's saying. Follow me with everything in your heart.
He's telling you this. Follow me. He's saying this, Holly, follow me. Follow me. follow me. Rhonda, follow me. Trey, follow me. And as he calls and he says, follow me.
What we don't think about is as we follow what we still look like.
So he's saying, follow me. And we look like this.
You want me to follow you looking like this but I'm filthy
follow me and as we walk through life and as things are going on and I know a storm hits and I still follow him and I look at him is when he
looks at you and he starts ripping some of your filth off of you and then we follow him
and he just keep following me and he looks at you and he's still ripping the filth off of you
and for some of us he has to do surgery piece by piece leg by leg
and he's looking at you and he's saying, follow me. I know this hurts.
Follow me.
Because I know at this part is when certain things can honestly come off of him. but notice
when he was called
is when God was already doing a work on the inside
he was cleaning him on the inside.
Before the outside was ever worked on.
God wants you to follow him.
And so many of us want to be like this.
But so many of us still have filth on.
And we assume, follow me.
We assume that this happens overnight.
But my father told me this is a sanctification process.
This don't happen
until either I go to him
or he comes to me.
So that means that I always have some kind of filth on me
and we think we have to be perfect in order to follow and God says that's not what I called
you to do he says follow me I will but a lot of you feel like no but I need to get right first and he's
saying no follow me I know the filth that you have I seen it I understand it
I was there even though you didn't know I was there I have never left you neither
nor I have forsaken you I I have always been with you.
And to the end of the age, I will be with you. You will make the decision. You will make the
decision whether you follow me or not. I clean the inside. The outside comes as we walk
I clean the inside
the outside comes as we walk
he wants you to follow him. And I hear you clapping and that sounds all good. But the problem with this is
we're so caught up on God gave me a house or a car or a boo or he healed me or he he extended
like we're so looking for everything else that God is doing but we look over the greatest miracle
of all times the goat of miracles which is salvation elder has already told us this, that the greatest miracle that could ever happen
is salvation. The thing that nobody else could do, he did. The sacrifice nobody else could give, we we look over the the greatest miracle we could ever see we look over it we look over it so much
so that when we read this scripture we we saw it and we didn't think anything good outside of the
fact that god said he's the doctor but beforehand he called a man named Matthew and he said follow me
that in itself is the greatest miracle and what did we do okay follow me oh man they they following jesus and this is where our heart lies
that we don't even we're looking the miracle dead in our face and we over we we throw it around like
it's nothing let me tell you what god did for me. Oh, he gave me this. He gave me that.
Yet and still there's somebody that's like, all I need is just to be with you.
And he gave them that. Because all these things are going to go.
Oh, my God.
You asking for bills to be paid.
At some point, no bill would be paid by you.
You're asking for a house.
At some point, it's going to crumble.
You're asking for a car.
At some point, it won't run.
You're asking for healing.
At some point, this body's going to die.
Whatever you're asking for is never going to be bigger than salvation.
And we're so obsessed. We're so obsessed with the next big thing. We're so obsessed with this, the next big miracle,
the next big happening.
We're so obsessed.
I'm so grateful for all the miracles
and everything that God has been doing
in everyone's life.
But I'm moreover ecstatic
about the fact that there are some of you
who do not believe
that will believe today.
Akulatheo.
Akulatheo.
Akulatheo.
Akulatheo. could it be
that he's trying to get you to give up your false doctrines and your thinkings and your theologies
could it be that he's trying to show you that none of these other things matter
could it be that he's trying to show you that you call yourself
a christian but you don't even follow me?
Because baptism is going to be so cool next week.
The water don't save you.
The water don't save you that's just an outward display of an inward decision
that means god already did it in my heart and i'm just showing the world what he did Akulatheo Akulatheo Akulatheo
Akulatheo
and right now
as we speak
I know for a fact
that there are some of you
I got hands
some of you
some of you do not belong to him. And I'm going to give you the gospel,
the thing that we're afraid of, the thing that we're ashamed of, the thing that we can't afford.
And some of us feel like we're unaware of.
Our brothers and sisters, you and I,
we are both sinners.
We have broken God's law.
There's a penalty for breaking his law.
He gave us freedom,
but that doesn't mean we get the opportunity to break laws without consequences.
And the consequences of breaking his law
is that you will be eternally separated from him.
Not because he's pushing you away but because you're
choosing to not follow him
and he's just going to give you the desires of your heart
but today you have an opportunity. Because right now, he's telling you, Akulatheo.
Akulatheo, follow me.
That means I'm no longer going to just worry about what I'm going to lose or how afraid I am or how ashamed I am.
Forget all of that.
And I know he's been pulling on your hearts.
I've been praying all week about this
for him to just continuously pull on your heart.
Soften your heart so that you can hear him calling you
because he does love you.
He loves you so much that he let his son
who was in heaven come down to earth, lower himself to experience something he didn't have to experience.
Come down and be a sacrifice.
What is that? That means he died for you
because he knew that something
needed to take the place
for your consequence.
That because you broke his law
there needed to be
a punishment given and he said
I will take that punishment.
So he took the punishment for me.
And you.
And he said,
Akulatheo,
follow me.
So right now,
Father, so right now father
if you feel that tug
when you feel the holy spirit pulling on you because you know you're not right with god
you know it in your heart and in your mind.
That you are not following Jesus.
I want you to make the decision today.
Come to the altar.
And follow him.
Akulatheo. Akulatheo.
Akulatheo. Thank you. Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
Hallelujah!
Hallelujah!
Hallelujah!
Hallelujah!
Hallelujah!
Hallelujah! Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
A lot more of you should be more excited.
Hallelujah. This is the greatest miracle ever existing. My brothers and sisters at the altar,
listen to my voice.
Listen to my voice.
That Jesus is here now for you.
Because he knows exactly where you are.
He knows exactly what you've done.
And he's saying,
I forgive you.
So listen.
Listen.
It's not about the words that are being said, but the sincerity of your heart.
Repeat after me.
Father,
forgive me.
I've broken your law.
I'm guilty.
I need you.
I need you.
Jesus, I need you.
And right now, Father, I pray for these individuals lord who are throwing themselves at your feet god
lord that they will receive father what you have already told them they will get lord
which is forgiveness of sin and i pray that you pour your holy Spirit in them right now, God. Lord, that they will receive, Father, something that they've never felt before, God.
Lord, that now, as they get up from this day forward, they will follow you, God, until the end of time, God.
Lord, that they will follow you without hesitation.
That they will trust you.
We believe,
Father, in your word.
We believe in what you say, God.
We have faith that you died
for us.
For the thing that we
could not get ourselves.
And we thank you for that.
And right now, we want to welcome our brothers and sisters.
