Welcome to 2819.
Welcome to 2819.
Alright, I'm a thug.
Enough of that sap stuff, right?
Sit down.
Alright. We're about to get into it. All right.
We're about to get into it.
Who was here last week?
Raise your hand.
All right. So this is a continuation from last week.
We are in a new series called Kingdom Callings. And today is week two. I'm actually
honored and privileged to bring to you what I would consider encouragement and a rebuke.
For some of you, I pray that this lifts your spirit.
And for some of you, I hope it rebukes the hell out of you.
Amen. So, Father, thank you. Thank you for this time and opportunity that we have to read your word again, Father, to dissect, Lord,
the things that you have said, to understand exactly what you were speaking about and that you are still speaking to us to this day.
May your word penetrate our heart, Father,
like the double-edged sword that it is.
May it pierce us, Lord,
that we would not fall, Father, to the evil one,
but that we would hearken to your call and run to you.
May it change us forever in Jesus' name. Amen. All right, family. Thank you. Don't go too far.
That's Sam right there. Let's start out this way, right? Last week, Pastor Philip
gave us homework. Who did their homework? Even you online, I'm'm asking who did your homework
and it's a reason right the reason why i'm asking you if you did your homework
is because you would assume that that is something that was just given by pastor philip
come on come on
and you didn't even understand that that's the lord by Pastor Phillip. Come on. Come on.
And you didn't even understand that that's the Lord.
So if you did not do your homework,
I'm not saying for the individuals
who were not here,
but if you saw,
if you watched it,
if you call yourself
someone who is submitted
to the House of 2819,
whether you're in the building or online.
If you did not do it, the Lord rebuke you.
Why? to Philip, God was trying to get you to remove some of the lying, prophesying individuals who are speaking heresy out of your ear so that you can hear him clearly. And if you chose not to do
that because you let your itching ear get the best of you. The Lord rebuke you.
And I pray that you go from today,
go rewatch the message
from last week,
and obey the word of the Lord
moving forward. Amen?
Amen.
Not just for one thing,
for all things.
Because the harvest is ripe.
There are so many individuals who, because we live under the Bible belt.
And everybody under the Bible belt says that they are a Christian.
We use that word like it's a get out of free jail card.
Don't talk to me that way. I'm a Christian. Who are you to tell me I am a Christian? The Lord
knows my heart. I am that type of Christian. The harvest is ripe. The harvest is ripe the harvest is ripe
for those who truly do not know the lord that we know because a lot of people have this self-notion
or this understanding of what they think or who they think God is. They are worshiping the God, the genie that gives them what they want.
They are worshiping the Santa Claus of the scriptures that they think,
that they behold in their heart.
They worship idols.
Are they not a part of the harvest?
There are individuals who still have never heard the real word of God preached for real and shown through life.
So they go out life.
They go throughout life with rocks and crystals and sage and horoscopes.
And they think that those are the things
that are going to repel the darkness away.
Thinking that in your own strength
that you can fight a devil or a demon.
The Lord rebukes you
for even the scriptures say that
they are stronger than us.
Is the harvest not ripe?
So I'm grateful for
what Pastor Phillip was teaching us last week.
And I want to just recap just a little bit of it because what I don't want us to do is,
because we are a people, we are a people.
What's a better way to say this?
A lot of people think that when Satan comes, a lot of people think that when Satan comes a lot of people think that when Satan comes he's coming and you know that he's in your life because there's chaos in your life but the truth of the matter is there the evidence that
Satan is really wrecking your is because he's making you comfortable.
People who have a lot of money and they get whatever they want,
they are comfortable.
Why do I need a savior when I'm good?
When you feel like this,
he is not the Lord.
Pastor Philip taught us,
he is not the Lord of just the poor.
But one of the schemes, one of the schemes that Satan uses, that great serpent is to give you the things that you want.
So here it is.
You think this blessing is coming and this blessing is coming from the lord
and yet it's still satan is sitting here like let me break them off some more
because the more i break them off the further they get away
comfortability
comfortability is one of the things that he uses
to keep us away from God.
So we're going to read the scripture,
we're going to talk about it a little bit more,
and then we're going to receive a couple of points
and a poem for the ones who have the itching ears. We're going to break a lot of
that theology, and then we're going to pray and worship God. Amen? Matthew chapter 10, starting
in verse 1, we're going to read, read, read what the scriptures say, correct? And it reads as thus, and he called to him.
Stop.
Who did he call?
This is where we get confused, right?
Who did he call?
His disciples.
Who are he call? His disciples. Who are his disciples?
A disciple is a faithful follower of Christ.
Is that you?
No, no, no, no, no.
Is that you?
Are you faithful? Are you faithful?
Are you following?
So if you are faithful and you're following, then that means he called.
Who did he call?
Now, don't say you.
Say me.
Who did he call?
He called me. Who did he call? He called me.
He called you.
And Pastor Phillip told us and taught us last week, because I don't want this to get just swept under the rug,
that when God calls us, he calls us to himself.
He doesn't just say, hey, like like just go off and do stuff no he calls us to himself first
and after he calls us to himself then he calls us to see what are we seeing what did the disciples
of the scripture see the depravity of the world and
everything that was going on the brokenness that was happening the things that were like they were
under not just subjection from roman rule which a lot of them thought that jesus coming he was
coming just to save them from the romans and yet and still what Jesus saw was, I see the oppression that you have.
But you have a spiritual oppression as well.
Where people are talking to you and they are talking and saying, God said, but it did not come from me.
So I need to free you from the lies.
Of Satan first.
And he needed to show the disciples.
Look at what is really happening.
Look at what is really happening.
Pastor Philip says it all the time.
He hopes and prays that we become.
Like the sons of Issachar who rightly discern the times.
They see what's going on.
They see the depravity.
They see the wickedness.
Do we see?
So he calls us to himself.
He calls us to see.
And then he calls us to serve.
Where are you on this scale?
Where are you on this scale?
Are you at the, he just called me,
and now he's working on some things in my heart?
Are you at the level where he's trying to get you to see some things
so that you can clean up your house
so that you can have other people see the truth as well?
Or are you at the serve where he's sending you where are you and if you think this is not the order then you you have a lot of
things wrong in your your thought process of how this thing called christianity works
because you will get called to him and if you did not get called
to him you are not a Christian you will get blinders taken off of your eyes so you will
see some things and if you don't then you're being stagnant where you are. You're trying to shut your ears to what God is trying to
show you. Isn't that funny how that
works? That we close our ears because we don't want to see.
My God, my God, my God.
Why?
Because the truth opens our eyes
are you at the level of seeing
or are you at the level of serving where you're actually getting your hands and your feet
into it we're grinding we're doing what what What level are you at? What level are you on?
Anybody want to tell me?
It's a lot of quiet mouths in here.
A lot of people don't want to answer this because they feel like you're less than or more than
are you in that category
have you been called
and he called to himself the 12 disciples and gave them authority over unclean spirits to cast them out and to heal
every disease and every affliction. This is a powerful text. It's a powerful text. It's a powerful text.
And part of the thing that Christians, part of the thing that humans love is the authority part.
We want that power. We want to show people that we are bigger, better, greater, faster, smarter.
That's what we consider our pinnacle, is when we show people that we are better.
Look at what I did.
Is this not us?
I had to change my verbiage because I don't want to say just Christians.
This is the state of humanity.
We want power over presence.
We want to prophesy over proclamation.
We want to show people that we can
prove things
without having a prayer life.
This is what we want.
The pinnacle that we
look at is, look at what we want. The pinnacle that we look at is,
look at what I did.
So much so, there are people in the scriptures who literally did whatever they could
just to gain that power.
I'm going to take everything that I know is not right
and I'm going to burn it and I'm going to leave it alone I know is not right, and I'm going to burn it, and I'm going to leave it alone.
When can I get that?
Because I just saw you heal somebody's eyes.
When can I do that?
That's too super spiritual for you?
Let's take it for today.
Hey, I see you do such a good job up there on that stage preaching.
Oh, hallelujah. I think I feel
that same
anointing.
Do you think he'll let me
preach?
We'd rather have a platform
than be
prostrate.
Truth of the matter is, Jesus did give him authority, though.
He called him and gave him authority, right? He called them and gave them authority, right?
He called them and gave them authority.
For what?
If you read the scriptures wrong, you'll misinterpret the whole thing. A lot of people read this and they're like, he gave them authority because of.
That's not what the scriptures say.
The scriptures say he gave them authority over.
Not because.
A lot of us want this authority so bad and not knowing why. What is the purpose of it?
What is the purpose of the authority that you want?
Why do you want the power so bad? Why do you want the platform so bad?
Why do you want to preach so bad?
Why do you want to prophesy so bad?
Is it because you think it's fame?
I go through more hell as someone who's a believer,
someone who has to proclaim God's word
than I was when I was just in the world.
Anyone who's a real believer, am I lying?
No.
I go through more hell because I have to preach
than if I just did whatever I wanted to do the closer I get to God the
more Satan wants to stop me this is why we should pray for pastor Philip and
everything that he goes through.
This is why we should pray for individuals who really have a calling on their life.
This is why we should pray for our leaders.
We should pray for our leaders. But I want to encourage some of you.
For those leaders, for the individuals who do have that calling,
for the individuals who God has really chosen, I want to give you a word because whatever God has called you to, God will empower you for.
Whatever God has called you to, God will empower you for.
Okay.
Y'all don't believe me.
Noah.
Noah was called by God to build a.
He was called by God to build an ark.
For some of us who don't know.
A big boat.
Right?
He was called to build a big boat,
and God gave him instructions.
If you've never had to build a boat before,
what do you think the first thing you need is?
Abraham.
God called him to be the father of many nations.
Abraham had no kids and was old.
What did God give him? A child in his ripe old age.
He said, I'm calling you to something, so I'm going to give you something for it.
Jacob, Jacob was called to return and reconcile with his brother.
His brother was a beast.
They said that he had hair all over his body.
He would go out in the woods all the time, kill animals, and bring it back to his father.
So clearly, when Jacob thought of his brother, his brother was a murderer.
And what did God give him?
He wrestled with him in the form of an angel.
Who here thinks that they can wrestle an angel?
He wrestled with an angel,
and then the angel put his hip out of socket
and then said,
I'm giving you my protection
so that you don't think it's yourself
that has all the power.
So I'm calling you to return
to where you came from,
reconcile with your brother
and you have my protection.
Some of you have been called to return back to this house.
And reconcile with this house.
He'll give you his protection
Joseph because everybody thinks that everything is all good and dandy Joseph was called to manage
but then he was thrown into slavery and as he was thrown into slavery he he got sold. And what did he do? He managed where he was sold.
And then he was thrown into jail.
And what did he do?
He managed the jail.
God was giving him opportunities.
That even in bad situations, whatever God calls you to, he empowers you for.
Regardless of mountaintop, valley, low,
whatever God calls you to, he empowers you for.
Moses, Moses was called to free God's people.
Stuttering Moses.
I can't do that.
What did God give him?
I'm going to give you a staff. As a matter of fact,
I'm going to put your hand in your coat
and bring it out.
Put it back.
I'm going to give you tools.
I still can't do it.
You keep, okay,
and I'm going to give you a helper
so he can talk for you
ain't no excuses when it comes to the Lord of Lords because if he empowers you for it
he's going to equip you for it
if he called you he's going to empower David.
David was called to protect God's sheep, his children.
But that's not how he started.
What did God give him in the beginning?
Sheep.
Come on.
God said, I'm going to have him protect my people,
which I call sheep. But before he gets to that level, I'm going to have him guard sheep.
No, y'all don't get it. That before he went up against a goliath he went up against lions and tigers and bears oh my
he empowered him
solomon called to build God's temple Solomon was smart about his
he said look I know in order for me to do this I'm going to need
wisdom and what did God give him
wisdom
Elijah the mighty man of God called
to go out into all the worlds and prophesy and even call down fire.
And what did God give him?
Authority.
That even as you speak to these prophets of Baal, they will have no power or authority over you.
As a matter of fact, call them out.
Elisha.
God called to pick up the mantle of Elijah.
And what did God give him?
A double portion of the authority and power that Elijah had.
Samson.
Called to free the people of Israel.
Out of the hands of the Philistines.
And what did he give them?
I'm going to make you, they're going to tell
stories about you and call you something else.
He gave him supernatural strength.
Strong enough to rip the jawbone off of
a lion and go and kill thousands of Philistines
with it. That his only weapon had to be bone
just to show the philistines that they aren't strong enough
it's a lot of dudes right it's a lot of dudes right just just for you sis just for you right
because i want y'all women to understand.
You're used too.
Esther.
That God called her.
He called her to be a voice for her people.
And what did he give her?
The ear of the king.
The Bible didn't say that she was the prettiest.
It was something about her that the king just had to choose because God knows what he's doing.
He empowered her with something that the king had to choose.
And now she had the ear of the king.
Because God called her to it.
He empowered her for it.
Now what has God empowered you to do?
What has he empowered you to do?
What gifts?
Because I don't want us to confuse it, right?
We assume that gifts mean he empowers us.
Gifts are just gifts.
He gives those because he's a good father.
He gives gifts because he just wants you to receive things, even if you don't use them for him.
He's a good, even if you don't accept him, he's a good father.
Even if you don't worship him, he's a good father even if you choose to use your gift
to worship anything else
he still gave it to you
it's not about your gift
but he has empowered you
he has empowered you
for some of us we have the empowerment to forgive.
Because a lot of us have hurt us. A lot of people have hurt us. And he's giving us opportunities to forgive.
A lot of us know individuals that are spreading wrong or prophesying lies or doing the wrong thing,
and he's giving you an opportunity to be in people's lives
to get them on the right track, to show them the truth.
What has he empowered you for?
Evaluate your life. Think about the gifts that God has given you.
That doesn't mean that just because it's bad, it's not a gift. I'm not a man. I'm not a man. I don't tell people about some of the stuff that me and my family do, what we do. I don't do that. We got some great news a couple of days ago. God
blessed us tremendously a couple of days ago. He opened up heaven for us a couple of days ago. God blessed us tremendously a couple of days ago.
He opened up heaven for us a couple of days ago.
We were given instructions.
We were given instructions.
Go and celebrate for what God has done.
Go and celebrate for what God has done. We wanted to go to this super nice place that I absolutely fell in love with that had Korean barbecue steak.
First off, y'all see me.
Don't do that.
Don't do that.
It's so good and so juicy and tender.
That steak is of the Lord.
It's a prime piece cut just...
That's where we wanted to go.
That's where we wanted to go that's where we wanted to go
but in the midst of things we were like man we don't really have the time we can't do it but
we're not going to dishonor what our we're not going to dishonor what our parentals told us to
do right so we were like you know what there's an outback right down the street we're going to go
to the outback it's outback it is what it is right you expect what? There's an Outback right down the street. We're going to go to the Outback. It's Outback. It is what it is, right? You expect what you expect. It's Outback, all right?
You know, it's not bad. It's not great.
It's like right in, it ain't Korean barbecue steak.
It ain't Korean barbecue steak. It ain't that.
But in the midst of us getting there, in the midst of us getting there, there was another couple.
The wife walked in before us because we were lollygagging in the parking lot just a little bit.
And then we came in and then the husband in, and we let them go first.
They were an older couple. We wanted to just honor them, and they sat them to the left
because that was the next order, and then they sat us to the right because that was the next order,
and as we sat on the right, there was a young lady that was over there. She was our server. And as she was our server, she's just loving on us.
And we saw a baby off to the side.
And the baby was, he was not being rude.
He wasn't being bad.
He was just in his car seat.
You could see that the mother brought him because she had no other choice.
And our food was horrible.
And we see her still trying to love on us and taking food back and checking on him.
And she got other individuals come in and she's waiting on several individuals at this time. And all we could do is just sit there. And my wife was like, I know how that feels.
And she said, babe, what can we do? And I said, whatever we can, we will. So we took some funds.
And we were like, ma'am, do you, because I'm a man of the system.
I know that when you do your tips and stuff like that, the company still can take some of the tips, right?
That's how corrupt America is, right?
So I asked, do they still take portions of your tip
and she and I said I want you to do me a favor because I'm still going to leave you a tip on here
can you give me your cash app
and she was like yeah um, like, are you sure?
And I'm like, yeah, absolutely.
We want to just, you know, like put something in your pocket, you know, that way it doesn't go to anybody else.
And then she saw the amount.
And she starts crying.
And I know that feeling.
My wife knows that feeling. My wife knows that feeling,
and in that moment,
God orchestrated for us to be someplace
that we didn't want to be.
And he empowered us
because our funds don't come because we're great.
But what we had, we gave her.
And it was what she needed.
And after that, what do you think she asked for?
Well, what church do y'all go to?
Let me tell you. all go to. I wasn't going to be, you know, too high up on a horse, 28-19.
You asking why?
You want to come?
But she said yes.
Yes, we have a place for her baby.
So if she's here, amen. I'm'm not gonna call you out or anything like that but he empowers us
when he calls us he empowers us when he calls us he empowers us when he calls us he empowers us. When he calls us, he empowers us. When he calls us, he empowers us.
Where is that power coming from? The power of the king is the authority that we have.
The power of the king, the power of the king is the authority we have. Authority, right? Authority is the power
or right to give others, make decisions, or enforce obedience. Authority is the power
or right to give orders, make decisions, or enforce obedience.
And some of you have the authority right now to call things as though they are, even though that's not what they.
He's already he's already given some of us, some of us, some of us.
He's already given some of us authority.
What are you doing with it?
What are you doing with it?
And this is my word for those,
you have that authority, you have that authority you have that power but you don't know what it's for just start serving because your purpose isn't chosen it's not picked it's discovered. When he called Noah, his purpose was to build the boat.
He gave him instructions.
Noah just had to do.
As you are doing, God can be giving so you can discover what it is that he wants you to do.
Your purpose isn't picked, it's discovered.
Your purpose isn't picked, it's discovered.
Y'all ready?
Because this is when it gets real.
Because I have a word for those people
who are picking their own personal
purposes those who are personal prophets for profit those who are going out and prophesying lies because they feel that they want to do things for their own personal gain.
I have a word for you, whether you call yourself pastor or apostle or teacher or so-and-so or whatever it is.
Jeremiah 23.
Jeremiah 23, starting in verse 9,
concerning the prophets.
My heart is broken within.
All my bones shake.
I am like a drunken man,
like a man overcome by wine because of the Lord
and because of his holy words. Why? For the land is full of adulterers. Because of the curse,
the land mourns and the pastures of the wilderness are dried up. Their course is evil and their might is not right.
Both prophet and priest
are ungodly.
Even in my house,
I have found their evil,
declares the Lord.
That you have put in your place,
you have put yourself in a place
that you are not supposed to be in.
That you call yourself something that you really are not.
That you're prophesying lies to gain profit.
Therefore, their way shall be like unto them slippery paths in the darkness,
into which they shall be driven and fall.
For I will bring disaster upon them in the year of their punishment, declares the Lord.
In the prophets of Samaria, I saw an unsavory thing.
They prophesied by Baal and led their people Israel astray.
But in the prophets of Jerusalem, I have seen a horrible thing.
They commit adultery and walk in lies.
They strengthen the hands of the evil doer so that no one turns from their evil.
All of them have become like Sodom to me.
And its inhabitants like Gomorrah.
They had to be totally destroyed because you want to sit in a pool pit.
And all of those lives are gone because you want to sit in a pool pit
therefore thus says the Lord of hosts concerning the prophets
behold I will feed them
with bitter food
and give them poison water to drink. Does
that not sound like America? Where our
food itself is poisoned and our waters
are poisoned. For the prophets of Jerusalem, ungodliness has gone out into all the land.
Thus says the Lord of hosts, do not listen to the words of the prophets who prophesied to you, filling you with vain hopes.
Is this not what Pastor Philip was trying to get you to do?
Read a New Testament document.
Compare it to who you listen to.
Does it sound the same?
Or are your itching ears getting the best of you?
And for you, prophet, pastor, apostle,
you're damning people.
For among you, for who among them has stood in the counsel of the Lord to see and hear his word? They don't even pray.
Or who has paid attention to his word and listened?
Studying.
Behold the storm of the Lord.
Wrath has gone forth and a whirling tempest.
It will burst upon the head of the wicked
the anger of the lord will not turn back until he has executed and accomplished the intents
of his heart in the latter days you will understand it clearly, clearly. In the latter days, you will understand it clearly, clearly.
I did not send prophets, yet they ran.
I did not speak to them, yet they prophesied.
But if they had stood in my counsel,
then they would have proclaimed my words to my people.
And they would have turned them, my people, from their evil ways.
Yet and still we have individuals who have a thought of something and they want to tell you their thoughts.
This is how I feel about what the Word of God says.
Instead of listening to what the Word of God says.
Is this rebuking enough?
Are you listening to him?
Turn them away from their evil ways
and from their evil of their deeds.
We're not done.
Am I a God at hand?
Am I just a genie?
Am I your Santa Claus?
Declares the Lord, and not a God far away?
Can a man hide himself in secret places?
Do you think that what you're doing is hidden?
Can a man hide himself in secret places so that I cannot see him?
Declares the Lord. Do I not feel heaven and earth? Declares the Lord. I have heard what the prophets have said, who prophesy lies
in my name, saying, I have dreamed. I have dreamed.
Oh, we dream and we think that our dreams are God's
words.
Father.
Father. we think that our dreams are God's words. How long shall there be lies
in the heart of the prophets who prophesy lies
and who prophesy the deceit of their own heart
who think to make my people forget my name
by their dreams that they tell one another even as their father forgets my name for Baal.
You don't even know that you're pushing God aside for a false idol and a demon and a devil.
You think that you're just following the next so-and-so,
pastor so-and-so, apostle so-and-so, prophet so-and-so,
and not knowing that they're leading you straight into the hands of a devil. We're not done. Let the prophet who has a dream tell the dream.
We're not going to, we're not going to let the thing that God is giving us stay inside of us
because of fear. That we're afraid to rebuke somebody
because of what are they going to say?
Or what are they going to do?
It's not my word.
Pause.
Let the prophet who has dream tell the dream. but let him who has my word speak my word
faithfully what has straw and wheat in common declares the lord is not my word like fire
declares the lord and like a hammer that breaks the rock into pieces
therefore behold i am against the prophet,
declares the Lord, who steal my words from others. Behold, I am against the prophet,
declares the Lord, who uses their tongue, declares the Lord, declares the Lord.
Because we like to say, thus declares the Lord. Let me tell you what God told me to tell you.
Behold, I am against those who prophesy lying dreams, declares the Lord, and who tell them
and lead my people astray by their lies and their recklessness when I did not send them
or charge them so they do not profit this people at all declares the Lord
you want a declaration there's your declaration you want a word from the Lord
there's your word from the Lord.
You want to speak something?
Speak that.
How many people do you
hear saying stuff like that?
That when Pastor
Philip told you, he said,
compare everyone that you listen to,
he did not neglect us.
That if we are not taking what his word is
and giving it to you the way he wants you to have it,
then we're in the same category.
That we will hold ourselves
subject to his word.
And if you
claim to be a part of
2819,
we will do the same.
Amen.
And if you feel like you
struggle, it's okay amen this is the reason why we do this together
amen
amen
jesus the names of the 12 apostles we're going to finish this out Matthew chapter 9 verse 2 the names of
the 12 apostles is up we so spooky with certain words we we we take this word apostle and don't
understand what the word apostle means it means a sent one a person commissioned by a king to
negotiate any affair between him and any other people or power.
A delegate and an ambassador of Christ, a messenger.
He's been given a special message.
So anyone who gives the message of the gospel is considered an apostle.
We take this word out of context.
Also considering that apostles,
because I know that there are some people
who they think that the apostleship died
back when the 12 disciples were,
when they died, they feel like the 12,
like all apostles were over.
Were not Paul and Barnabas apostles? James? Was not Apollos an apostle? That's in his word? Was not, I'm going to tear
that name up, Junius, Silas, and Timothy? There's a couple of other words on here, a couple of other names.
I'm going to spell them, E-P-A.
E-P-A.
Epaphroditus is his name.
Apostleship is a real thing.
I don't want y'all to get it confused,
and I don't want y'all to go out and just start labeling or listing yourself as an apostle,
but I'm going to tell you what apostleship is
because the word apostle is just the sent one the meaning of apostleship is quite plain
that means that it is the office of the sent one apostles are not primarily men of special gifts
they are men of special commission
and i honestly believe that the head over this house is an apostle,
that he has been given a special commission to go forth into all the lands,
prophesying and telling the people the good news,
breaking their theology of things that they've been told that are lies from demons.
He's not afraid to tell people the truth. He's not afraid of what you're going to say or if you're going to leave.
He would rather die than to lie.
That's the kind of person that God placed over us.
Amen.
Not only is he an apostle,
but I believe that 2819 has a level of apostleship.
Why do I believe that 2819 has a level of apostleship. Why do I say that?
Collectively, we've been called.
What is our name?
No, tell me, what is our name?
What does 2819 mean to you?
What does the scripture say what does it say go make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of who? The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Is that not a commission
that was placed over this house? So we have an apostle and we live under apostleship for those of you who call 2819 home.
And for those of you who don't, if you feel that this is where you're supposed to be, it's not my eloquent speech because I ain't said nothing eloquent all day.
I woke up this morning on ratchet.
I was before the Lord, calm down.
Could it be that the Lord is calling you now? Could it be that he's trying to get you to see now? Could it be that he's trying to get you to serve now? could it be?
The name of this message is called, called and commissioned.
Because that's what we are.
We are called and commissioned. And right now, for anyone who feels the call, you've never heard somebody
tell you the truth that you and I, we are both sinners. We have done wrong.
We have lied, cheated, stole.
We have committed murder.
That we are not right in God's eyes.
And he still wants you.
You can feel the tug now.
You can feel the call now.
And if you feel that,
the calling of God on your life right now,
come to the front.
That if you feel that he's trying to open your eyes now
to get you to see,
come to the front. Thank you. Come on. That I know it's God because today wasn't a message of salvation.
You just feel him calling you.
Amen. him calling you. That it's not a man. You feel God. You feel the Holy Spirit tugging on your heart
to get right with him, to see him for who he really is.
So I want you to close your eyes.
Because it's not me.
And it's not my words that are saving you in this moment right now.
I want you to repeat after me.
Father. Everybody repeat after me. Father.
Everybody repeat after me.
Father.
Because he is a loving father regardless of the one that you had on this earth.
Father. Father.
Forgive me.
I sinned. I did wrong. Help me to see you, to follow you, to love you. To love you. So right now, Father, I ask, Lord, that as these individuals who are at the altar right now, God, as they feel the tug from you in their heart, God, Lord, that you, Lord,
exchange, Lord, their heart of sin, Father, for a heart of righteousness, God. Lord, do a work on their heart now, God. Lord,
that they will no longer go by thinking that everything, Father, is of destruction for them,
God. That you are changing their citizenship, God. That they are no longer, Father,
from this earth. That they are now citizens of heaven
because
of their declaration of faith.
Work on them now, Lord.
That when you leave this altar,
you are no longer the same person that you were.
You are not the screw-up.
You are not the failure.
You are not a bad mother or a bad father.
You are not the dislocated child.
Left and abandoned.
For he adopts you into his house, into his heart, into his family.
In Jesus' name.
And it's not just for them.
Because some of you have been called.
But you still have blinders on your eyes.
Some of you have been called
and you see and you choose not to serve.
If that is you,
come and reconcile with the Lord now.
Get out of your seat We're not going to be dismayed today
God has called you
he's called you
he's called you
did you hear me? he's called you. He's called you. Did you hear me?
He's called you.
An almighty being who has all power and all authority,
who can snuff us out in an instant.
He can take what is his, which is our breath, away.
And he says, I want you.
How special are you?
That he has opened your eyes.
You see.
You know what's going on.
And he has called you to serve because he needs more men standing in the gap.
He needs more women to stand up for him.
So right now, Father, we repent, God. We're sorry, Father. And we turn, Lord, from turning
away from you. Lord, help us to walk with you, God, because it can become, it can be so easy, Father, to go in our own way.
It can become so easy, God, to not do anything, Lord.
The devil tries to make us comfortable, God.
And we refuse from now on, God, to be comfortable, Father, while your children are going through hell.
So open our eyes, Lord.
Affect our hearts, God.
That we will be disciples of yours Lord
from today going forward
we love you
and we will honor you
father with our
obedience
because our obedience is better than
sacrifice
in Jesus name amen Because our obedience is better than sacrifice.
In Jesus' name, amen.
