And hope that you would hear something today that is meaningful to your life. I'm going to be sharing the word of God with you. And at the end, I just want to talk to you about some very important information I need to give you. Because I don't want you to be caught off guard. If you are a guest with us or you are a guest watching right now, we are in the last two weeks essentially landing the plane on a series called Kingdom Gems. Kingdom Gems. this has been a series that has impacted me personally

because I have been studying through this series at a depth that is not just only for preaching but for my own personal edification we have been walking through the sermon on the mountain line by line line verse by verse chapter by chapter there's only three of them and I want to say to these last two times today and next week I cannot articulate this enough

that there is a lot of us in this room a lot of people watch me right now you are just miserable with things that's going on in your life some of us are living lives we think we're bawling but we're really in trouble and i can't i can't say this enough how this these three chapters have so deeply impacted my life that this is not just any sermon that we are walking through this is not just any teaching we are walking through this is the greatest sermon the world has ever known preached by the greatest preacher the world has ever known with the greatest principles the world has ever known. And it is the blueprint for the best life ever known. Not the best life in the world's eyes. But the best life possible in God's eyes.

That if anyone will live the best life possible in God's eyes. The blueprint for that is the Sermon on the Mount. It is the blueprint for that is the sermon on the mount it is the blueprint for human flourishing that i would go even so far to say that even if the unbeliever leaned into its principles they would experience a type of flourishing even disconnected from christ because the principles work for those who work them. And my heart is often grieved that I've been studying the Sermon on the Mount because not only is it the most important thing Jesus ever taught in terms of a category or a group of teachings,

it is also the least obeyed. It's that we love to call him Savior. But for many of us, he is not Lord. He is not master. He is not reigning over our hearts. He is a name in a bio on our Instagram. But he's not sitting on the throne of our hearts. He's not guiding our decisions.

Man, if I lost all of the scripture, I could just keep the 10 commandments and the sermon on the mount and we'll do good in this life. And so, man, I plead with you, not only lean into this series, but go home and read it for yourself. Check behind me.

Do your own study. Go home and read Matthew 5 through 7. You can actually do it in 15 minutes. And we like tattoo it to your heart. Amen. Amen. So for all my note takers, we're going to be unpacking in this passage or in this message. Let's see.

And I want to tag a title to this corpus of scripture. I just want to call this message a question for you. And I want everybody to wrestle to the ground this week. And I'm probably talking to one category of people in the room.

So when I give you the title, if you sense you're not in this category, just pray for everybody else. But I want to use a question for the title of this message to work through these passages. And here is my question for you, which is the title of this message to work through these passages. And here is my question for you, which is the title of this message. It's your choice. The question is, will you enter? Will you enter?

Will you enter? You better listen carefully. Because these are the last verses in the sermon. And yes, this series doesn't end until next week. So listen. You better listen carefully. Listen carefully. Don't let the devil make you sleepy.

Don't let the person next to you distract you don't let any demonic form in fact we're about to run every demonic force out of this room i already know how this go down i know y'all know what it is to kneel and pray and then your mind drift you notice to kneel and pray you get. You ever open the Bible to read and you start drifting off to sleep? The devil will do everything he can to keep you out of the word, keep you out of prayer. Nobody know what this feels. I'm the only one that's opened the Bible to read and fell asleep. I'm the only one. The preacher's the only one. I'm the only one that's ever knelt down to pray and some other thought come into my mind. I'm the only one that's honest enough to say that. Right, Carlina? I'm the only one. Like the enemy wasn't trying to attack Jesus

when he was in prayer and fasting. No, he don't slip into your secret place. We're so spiritual. No, he'll slip into your prayer time. He'll slip into your devotion. He'll slip into your prayer time. He'll slip into your devotion. He'll slip into every Sunday morning gathering. You listening to me? Pay attention for the next few moments.

Just checking with my COO for today. I'm good? For today. Eternal God and ever wise Father. Lord, we humble ourselves right now under your mighty hand, under the mighty weight of the word that is forever settled in heaven. It cannot change. Spirit of the living God, we pray you would move up and down each row. You would arrest the attention of every man, woman, and child.

We pray you would draw us to yourself and to your word. We pray, God, you would drive out every demonic force that's in this room, every lion spirit, every attempt to be distracted by the evil one. Would you drive it out of this room even right

now in the name of Jesus. Lord, I pray for an increase in retention, an increase in attention, an increase. Let tickling ears be scratched only with the truth of your word help this weakened earthen vessel

communicate the seriousness of what you have given we ask in the mighty and the matchless in the majestic name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ if you receive that prayer

you have attention and want retention, somebody shout at me, amen. Amen. I love history. It's one of my favorite subjects of study. And as I was praying through this particular text, I thought about something from our history that I want to share with you. It was April 10, 1912, when the RMS Titanic, that famous luxury British liner set sail from Southampton England bound for my hometown of New York City this luxury liner nicknamed the millionaire special and the unsinkable ship filled with over 2,000 people some 1,300 of them passengers

among them men and women who were wealthy men and women who were prominent was now four days into a journey across the North Atlantic Ocean. No doubt as I put myself on that ship. There is dinner and dancing. There is coffee and conversations. There is laughter and play and gambling and fun and games. The ship now some four days into its voyage and on April 14th, the Titanic was now sailing through

an area that had been reported to have icebergs. A man on the ship ignoring that warning. And just after 11.30 at night on April 14th, when most families had settled in to bed and people had settled in for the night making plans for what they were going to do the next day on the ship. The Titanic reaped the harvest of a navigation error.

When ignoring a warning, it sailed too close to a massive iceberg in the blackness of night that scraped the side of the ship, puncturing its side, the ice cold water of the Atlantic Ocean pouring into the bottom of that ship. And that you and I know what happened next on that ship as the water filled that luxury liner. It eventually capsized and that luxury liner carrying 2,000 people was brought to the bottom, the Black Adips, the abyss of the whole deep Atlantic Ocean

with some 1,500 people being dragged down into a permanent watery grave. Now, my brothers and sisters, I thought about this very carefully. If I could take every person in this room, if I could take somebody watching me right now on YouTube or wherever you're consuming this message, and if I could transport you back in time

and put you on the loading dock that night, watch, with the full knowledge of what you have, knowing this ship is going to go down, would you stay silent that night? Would you stand on the loading dock on april 10th 1912 and let men and women and children walk right by you with the foreknowledge that they're sailing to their doom and say nothing would you remain silent? Would you not issue a warning to the people

walking right by you? Or would you with the foreknowledge that this ship is going to go down in four days, let men, women, children, teenagers, families walk right by you, one after the other, knowing in your heart they're going to die.

And just keep your mouth closed would you not pray would you not post would you not preach would you not issue some type of warning to the people walking by you like yo you might not want to board this ship tonight.

One person walks by, they don't believe you. Would that stop you from telling the next person you might not want to board this ship tonight? That person walks by, doesn't believe you. Would that stop you from telling the next person, yo fam, you might not want to board, you might not want to board this ship tonight. A family ignore you. Does that stop you from telling the next person, yo fam, you might not want to board this ship tonight. Like how long would you be out there before you just give up and go home? You knowing in your heart coming from the future follow me where did you come from

where did you come from where did you come from you came from the future standing on that dock april 10th 1912 knowing in your heart and your mind this ship is going down, 1,500 people's gonna die and they may not be saved. And you're gonna stand there and what, just sing. And take pictures of people who's gonna end up at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean

and do nothing. Is that what you would do? Somebody said no. No. Watch. No loving, godly person

who had the love of God in their heart with that kind of foreknowledge would remain silent that night knowing that 1,500 people was going to die. No, you would not be silent. You would talk.

You would shout. You would grab people by the shoulders. Man, you would act a fool on that loading dock. At least I would to get as many people as possible. That last family did not believe, but let me talk to y'all for just a second no loving godly human being would remain silent that night with the full knowledge that you came from the future knowing that that ship was about to go down watch you would not do that right right talk to me right watch enter the lord jesus christ

who came from eternity. Who came into the world from eternity. With what? With all foreknowledge. With all foreknowledge. Of everything past, present. And say the next word. Future. Watch.

See him now. In the first century. Standing on the loading docks of time preaching a sermon to anyone who would listen not only trying to teach them how to live right but also warning them of an impending doom he shouts from the loading dock of history.

Matthew chapter 7 verse 21. Not everyone who says to me Lord, Lord will enter the kingdom of heaven. But the one or only the one who does the will of my father who was in heaven. So Jesus, standing on the loaded docks of human history, preaches to you

the biblical kingdom ethics for all followers to a hillside of thousands of followers, seekers, unbelievers. He comes to the end of his sermon and the man with foreknowledge of the future shouts on the loading dock. You got that, Brother James? The man who came from eternity

who knows the future. See? Don't nobody in here know all the details of what happens when you die. We get glimpses in the word. The man who came from eternity Know all the details of what happens when you die. We get glimpses in the word. The man who came from eternity with all foreknowledge of the future.

Let me get this in your spirit. Because you treat Jesus like a bracelet and a sucker. The man who came from eternity with all, not some, all knowledge of the future. Shouts from that loading dock in the first century. Not everyone who says to me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven. But only the one who does the will of my father. That should make you pause. Now, family, there's three things I want to show you in this first text. Okay? Three things

I want to show you. The first one we're going to call false assurance. The first one we'll call false assurance. Look at what he says not everyone who says to me lord lord will enter the kingdom of heaven so what jesus is making clear to the people listening on that day to the people

listening right now through philip anthony mitchell is that there are people right now as I'm talking right now in this country people in the world people sitting in this room who think they are in a good place with the father and maybe they are not they have a false assurance of salvation. I want, listen, I want you to notice, I'm teaching, that he's not talking to the atheists. Watch the text. He's not talking to the agnostic. Watch the text. He's not talking to no one in false religion.

He's not talking to the Muslim, the Buddhist, the Hindu. He's not talking to no false religion. How do I know that? How do I know he's not talking to no atheist, agnostic, the Buddhist, the false religion, the Mormon, the Jehovah's Witnesses, not talking to any of them. You know why? Because they would not call him Lord. The atheist would not call him Lord. The agnostic would not call him Lord. The Buddhist would not call him Lord. The Hindu would not call him Lord, the agnostic would not call him Lord, the Buddhist would not call him Lord, the Hindu would not call him Lord. Let's go further.

Not just only Lord, Lord, Lord. When mentioned twice is a term of watch endearment. That is, I really believe I am saved. He's talking to people who's been in church their whole life. He's talking to people who call themselves Christians. He's talking to people who has gone to Christian conferences. You buy Christian books.

You listen to Christian podcasts. You try to make Christian posts while it's mingled in with ungodly posts and you think because you have an interest in Christ that you are in Christ for there's a lot of people who like Jesus who are not like Jesus he is someone you admire but not someone you're surrendered to

he is someone you appreciate. But not someone you're surrendered to. He is someone you have thought about. Come around. But not someone you are surrendered to. There are people sitting in this room right now. People watching me live right now. People in your own family.

Who have a false assurance. That you and God are in a good place. So it's dope that you give him glory for some things like, yo, God did this for me. And you think that you're cool with God. But you may have a false assurance. It's why the scripture says you should examine

yourself to make sure you're in the faith. So watch. How do we know who has real assurance? He said only the one that does the will of the Father will get into the kingdom of heaven.

The question you should be asking next of the text is what is the will of the Father will get into the kingdom of heaven. The question you should be asking next of the text is, what is the will of the Father? It is the Father's will for all men to repent and to be saved. It is the Father's will for us to watch, obey the teachings of the scriptures. It is the Father's

will for us to walk in the principles of the scriptures. It is the Father's will for us to love him and what? To keep him first. So Jesus says, not everyone who says Lord, Lord will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the person who's actually going to get in, we know

they're going to get in because they're waking up with a desire for Jesus. They have a deep love for Jesus. They can mark when they've been transformed by Jesus. They're desiring to follow Jesus. We see them doing the will of Jesus. Man, we see the watchers fruit in their lives. He's talking to watch. Who's he talking to in his text? Everybody watch. He's talking to, remember who we talked about last week. False prophets. False preachers.

False Christians who have false assurance. The second thing I want you to see in the text, number two, is false activity. Look at what he says in verse 22. On that day

many will say to me, Lord, Lord, so I know I'm good with the Lord. False prophets, false preachers, false worship leaders, false Christians. Did we not prophesy in your name and cast out demons in your name? And do many mighty works in your name? And another translation says mighty miracles. So I want you to notice. He's talking to people who have a false assurance.

Everybody watch. People who don't belong to him. But even though they don't belong to him, what are they doing? They are prophesying. They are casting out demons. It's going to hit you in a second. They are performing miracles and mighty acts.

Wait a second. People who don't belong to Christ, not filled with the Holy Spirit, prophesying, that's preaching singing playing

casting demons out of people watch watch and performing miracles so man they laid hands on the sick Watch and performing miracles. So man, they laid hands on the sick and the sick recovered. They must be a man or woman of God.

Man, they're preaching great series and sermons. Their church is packed. Must be a man or woman of God. Man, they got a dope deliverance ministry. Must be. That's what you do. Must be a man of woman. And we do that because we're unread. And we don't know that there is someone else who gives power to do miracles.

Watch. Watch. watch there is someone else who can actually empower people to preach to do miracles to do fake exorcisms to camouflage demonic activity y'all don't believe me

I know this is not in my notes I don't even have notes y'all didn't this not in my in my notes i don't even have notes but uh let me y'all think i'm a heretic anybody got your bible let's take a quick break go to revelation 13 uh because you're looking at me like that's i'm a heretic go to revelation 13 um because i've studied revelation let's look at verse, you got your Bible on your lap? I'm going to read it to you out loud. Verse 13. And I, this is John,

who got a vision from Jesus, saw a beast. The beast is the fourth prophet. This is talking about the end time tribulation, the seven years of tribulation coming to the earth. He was rising out of the sea. That means he emerged into political power.

Everybody watch. With ten horns and seven hands and many diadems of horns and blasphemous names on his hands. That is, his heart and his motives was full of evil. You got your Bible on your lap? Let's keep reading. Watch verse 2. And the beast that I saw was like a leopard. That means he moved swiftly.

His feet were like bear's feet. He was strong. And his mouth was like a lion's mouth. He had great communication. Watch. He had great oratory skills. Let me tell y'all something. Let me tell y'all something. Y'all better stop getting caught up in oratory skills. Let me tell you something. Listen to me. There's a lot of people who have slow cadence and they talk nice. And you just assume because of their cadence they're a man or woman of God. Do you know there's a lot of people who say heresy eloquently?

I need to repeat that. I got to protect my sheep. Because y'all love eloquent people. And you think people like me who's a little rough. Let me repeat this. There's a lot of people who say heresy eloquently. So they got nice cadence. And they talk with great cadence.

And it sounds eloquent. And it sounds nice. And because it sounds so nice and they got an accent. You think that they're real men or women of God. But you have not followed their ministry long enough to check their fruit. You just found him on IG. And yes, he's a man of God because he's eloquent of speech. You don't even know him or her. But you're sowing money into a ministry you just saw and traveling to conferences for a person

you just saw and giving credence to someone you just found because they're eloquent and they walk good and they got cadence and they got an accent and they're well-dressed and they got education and we just don't uneducated unbiblical sheep I Might like you but I'm gonna watch you for a little while I might like you but I'm to watch you for a little while. I'm checking you for what? For fruits. No, fruits.

You got that wrong. That's not what Jesus said. He says fruits with an S. Words and character over time. Thank you, Holy Spirit. I don't care how big, how prominent, how vast the ministry is, how the cadence, the eloquent speech or the accent. You should be more enamored with character than with gifting. You ain't impressing me with your gift. I don't care how well you preach, sing.

I don't care if you got 14 master's degrees and two doctorates. I'm checking your fruit, your character. I want y'all, as the people of 2019, to be more enamored with character than with talent. Pause, family. I want you to be more enamored with character

than with talent. I don't care if they can sing. Look how many albums they got. Look how many people's in their church on Sunday morning. Man, wake up, sheep. I'm asking you for your own, watch this word, protection.

Listen to me. To be more impressed with character than with talent. You automatically ascribe character to people with great talent. I'm way off my schedule. Where we at? Revelation? No, no, talent. I'm way off my schedule. Where we at? Revelation? No, no, no. I'm trying to

prove to you what Jesus said. Watch. Oh, thank you, Holy Spirit. This is why you better be careful with people that take a text and springboard off of that text to preach what they want you to know. Like, you're using a text for your own opinions. That's eisegesis

you're trying to force into the word of God what's not there God gave me this revelation really? it contradicts and violates the word don't care about your revelation God gave all preachers a boundary Genesis, Revelation

you outside of that? I gotta watch you God gave all preachers a boundary. Genesis, Revelation. You outside of that, I got to watch you. No, I love y'all too much. So I'm going to tell y'all the truth. All of us got boundaries. That's why we love exegesis. Tell us what the scripture says, man of God. Explain these scriptures, man of God.

Expound this Bible, man of God. I want you to be more impressed with the word of God than with my oratory. Why? Because a day will come when you will not have me, but you will have the Word of God y'all miss that your favorite preachers gonna die but the Word of God will remain forever I want to jump off this platform and shake you by your shoulders. When I'm dead and gone, my children will still own a Bible. That's why you shouldn't get nervous if I'm not up here preaching. If one of our other communicators, they've been taught

man, this church, we anchored to the Word of God. Where was I? Y'all got me all in a bunch. Oh, I was trying to prove to you that God is not the only one that empowers people to do miracles. Since you love their deliverance ministry so much okay look we in revelation 13 it's not coming up on the screen because i ain't giving to them this is inspiration of the holy spirit all right verse three one of its heads verse two and and yeah forget verse three verse two and thank you y'all students and the beast that i saw everybody was like this he was like a leopard his feet was like a bear's feet and his mouth was like a lion's mouth and to it the dragon who is satan i'm gonna these next words, gave, I'm in the ESV, by the way,

gave his power and his throne and great authority. Glory to God. Glory to God, sir. So this beast who is a false prophet was given power and a throne and authority to do miracles by who? By Satan. Let the Bible interpret the Bible, right?

That's not the first time y'all saw that. You remember there was a dude named Moses who had a stick. Goes down to Egypt. God said, throw your stick down. He throws his down. It becomes a serpent. There's three, there's false prophets in the room. They throw their stick down.

They become serpents too. Can Satan Mimics miracles Is why you should not be Impressed only by signs and wonders We want to see signs and wonders attached to good character. Man, they were prophesying and calling people out from the back of the room. And they knew exactly. You know demons watch you.

Let me shut down this Cleo. You know demons, fallen angels, because the devil got prideful, tried to go against God, got kicked out of heaven. This is not even in my sermon. Took a third of the angels with him. That means he was in the air for a season. Building his own crowd inside of heaven. Gets kicked out of heaven. The people who are attached to Satan because they thought Satan was a good friend gets kicked out with Satan. They become the demons we deal with now. So when you go see Ms. Cleo, your tarot card, your crystal ball,

they're being informed by demons. And since demons are real, and they know your past, they can tell the psychic, watch, what happened in your past. Watch, with accuracy. Now you're hooked because you think Ms. Cleo knows what she's doing. Then they lie about your future. They're everywhere. They watch you.

They know what you want. They know what you're praying about As soon as you go in there to get your tarot card Your horoscope, your crystal ball Your fortune cookie They already speaking to that false prophet About your past But you being all like they knew

The woman of God prophesied and she knew The man of God prophesied, he knew. How do you know they tapped into the Holy Spirit and not a demonic spirit? So we see false assurance. I want you to see right here in the text, we have false activity. And the third one coming right out of this text, we have false acceptance. I'm almost done.

Nah, they don't want me to take my time. They've been getting out early all month. They ain't loving that. The last one is false acceptance. Where is it in the text? Verse 20, thank you, 23. And then I will say, I will declare to them the most dreadful words any human being will ever hear. I never knew you. False acceptance. You're not getting in here. Watch.

Here are the words no human being is prepared to hear. You want to keep playing around with Jesus? You want to keep playing around with Jesus? You want to keep playing around with church? You want to keep sucking your thumb and playing around with these false prophets? There are men and women listening to false prophets, playing in church, skipping along, having a good time, acting a fool. They're going to die and come to

the shock of their life when they arrive and they think that they were in Christ only to hear the most dreadful words any human being will ever hear. Man, wake up. Depart from me. This part is serious. I, Christ, I never knew you.

You worker of lawlessness. Let's unpack the verse. Jesus is telling us there are people with false acceptance. They think that they're going to be accepted by Christ when they die. Because you know about God. And have been around God and know some godly lingo. You think that when you die,

you're going to be accepted. I see people all the time lie at funerals and take people who are obviously wild out heathens and we put them in heaven. We say foolishness like to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Taking scripture out of context. Eisegesis.

Here is the exegesis. That is for those who are in Christ. We say foolishness like here. He will live the reckless crazy life but God wanted another flower for his garden. So we lie at funerals because we're trying to paint a picture

of really false acceptance that body's in a box and that soul is lost and you gotta figure out what you're gonna do while you're breathing I know I'm talking to you because you're in the room. People in this room with false acceptance. You think you're going to get

into heaven on your morals? Your good behavior? Your biblical knowledge? Your degrees? Your church attendance? Watch. Your church friends. But you can only walk through that narrow gate alone You gotta give your own account

Why did they have to depart? Everybody watch He called them, look at me, pay attention Don't let the devil put you to sleep Workers of lawlessness. Watch. Let's not get over spiritual. Watch how the sermon connects.

Jesus said, I did not come to abolish the law. Watch how the whole sermon connects. But to fulfill it. That is, you better pay attention to my word. So who are people who are lawless? Put it together. They read. They hear.

They listen. They don't do. That's it. That's it. Wow, good. to be lawless is to not do the law so I know you can say watch this

can we go deeper you can preach you can teach watch this. Can we go deeper? You can preach. If he ain't talking to the atheists, you can teach. You serve well. You look well. You post well.

But if we put a camera on you, we don't see the evidence of a life that is following, obeying, putting into practice the teachings of the sermon. Let's finish, right? So Jesus, everybody look right at me. Look at me, pay attention. He's not playing around. His sermon, you can't give him an amen on the Sermon on the Mount.

The Sermon on the Mount demands a decision. I've been telling you this for three weeks. I'm going to say it again for two more Sundays. Listen to me. You're responsible for what you heard. Right? And some of you, I already know how you're going to get down. Everybody watch. I know what you're going to do. Some of you came in here with a friend. Like, damn, 2019?

Bro, I ain't going back there. Watch. I was afraid when I was there. Yeah, you should be. Can I say something? Thank you, Holy Spirit. The scripture says, Paul, I'm going to finish. Paul wrote to a young pastor named Timothy, who was the pastor of a church in Ephesus. He said to them that in the last days, they gave him this list. Here is something else that will happen in the last days. The people, everybody watch, because you don't want to hear truth, you will gather for yourself preachers

because you have itching ears, watch, and you want to sit under teaching to only hear what makes you feel good. I want to ask you a question. Tell me what person eats candy and expects to have a healthy immune system or a healthy body. If all of your diet is candy and chocolate, how could you expect to have a healthy body?

I've never met a person that only eats chocolate breakfast, lunch, or dinner every day of their life and expect to have a healthy body. But yet you do that with your spirituality. You only eat chocolate and candy. You keep running to that and you expect to have a your spirituality. You only eat chocolate and candy. You keep running to that and you expect to have a healthy spirituality. As long as people keep having itching ears,

look at you trying to drift off while I'm talking, the devil. As long as people got itching ears, there will always be a market for the false prophet. It's like the real estate agent. As long as people want homes, there will always be a market to sell homes. As long as y'all love only hearing what makes you feel good, there will always be a market for the false prophet to thrive. So let's finish.

So Jesus preaches the Sermon on the Mount and now watch. He closes the sermon and look what he says. He demands a decision of you. This is serious. Everybody look. Pay attention.

Verse 24. Everybody watch. Pay attention. Verse 24. Everybody watch. Pay attention. You there? Verse 24? Let's finish the sermon. Everybody pay attention. Pay attention. Pay attention. Everyone then. Everyone then. Everyone then Everyone then How many people is everyone? So who is he talking to?

What does the word then mean? I'm trying to teach you how to study the Bible Look, that's heaven raining down on you. That's the Lord telling me, good job, son. Tell them the truth. The confetti of heaven coming down on you. We didn't plan that. Everybody look at me. I'm trying to teach you. I'm making y'all scholars. What does the word then mean in the text? The word then, watch, is a transition word that anchors everything that came before it

to the next point. In another translation, it would say the word therefore. Which connects everything that came before it to the next point. Watch. What came before everyone then? The entire sermon. The Beatitudes,

Salt and Light, the Word of God, do unto others as you have them do unto you, praying, fasting, giving, enter into the narrow gate, avoid the broad gate, stay away from false prophets.

The whole sermon now. Look how he closed the sermon. Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock.

And the rain fell and the floods came and the winds blew and beat against that house, but it did not fall. It did not fall. Why? Why did it fall? It had been founded on the rock. Everybody watch. He says to the other group, I mean, Jesus puts everybody in two groups. You're either one or the other. There's no option, no middle ground, no neutral ground.

And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand and the rain fell and the floods came and the winds blew and beat against that house and it fell and great was his fall and when Jesus had finished saying these things, the crowds were astonished at his teaching. For he was teaching them as one who had authority and not like their phony scribes. So Jesus says he went from two gates, two ways. Everybody look right at me. Now he tells you about two houses. The houses are a metaphor for human beings.

The rain, wind, and the storms are a metaphor. Watch. Everybody watch. For the common trials of life that we all go through. Let me finish. And the that we all go through. Let me finish. And the judgment we all must face. Study the text. Two builders.

Two different homes. Two different foundations. One foundation is built on the rock. If you're going to build on a rock, that takes, watch this, more work. Because if you're going to build a house on rock, you got to dig into the pie. You got to dig pylons into the rock.

You got to put something deep into the rock. So it takes more work to build on the rock. It's not the easy way. It is the hard way. Watch how the sermon connects. It takes work to build on the rock. The rock is a metaphor for Jesus. The rock is a metaphor for Christ.

On the solid rock I stand. Then there is another foundation, sand. It's easy to build on sand. You ain't got to drive deep on sand. But you know what happens when water gets to sand and rain gets to sand and wind gets to sand, it shifts that foundation. That's why if your house is built on sand, which is everything other than Christ, sand is your opinion. Sand is false beliefs. Sand is ideologies. Sand is Google articles. Sand is the teachings of the Pharisees.

Sand is false prophets. Sand is everything your grandmother taught you, your grandfather taught you, your uncle taught you, who was not saved. Sand is building your life on your good behavior and your morals. Watch. It's building your life on your own

self-righteousness and deception. And if you've seen water get to sand, it shifts that foundation. So watch. Everyone right now as I'm talking to you, look at me, pay attention. Everyone right now, all of us, we're all building.

You're building your life right now on one of these two foundations Hold on one second Frank I want it to be quiet when I say this Look at me, all y'all in the rises Look at me Everybody look at me, listen to me There is no neutral ground Everybody look at me. Listen to me. There is no neutral ground.

Under your feet right now is either the rock or sand. As I'm talking to you in this moment, under your feet right now is either the rock or sand. What do I mean by that? You are building your life, getting married, dating, getting a job, moving to cities. You're building a life, but what is underneath the life that you are building? Is it being built on the teachings of Jesus Christ or is it being built on everything else?

Now, everybody look at me. Because I love you, I can't leave you right here. Although we finished the sermon, I can't leave you there. Because I love you too much. So I want to go one step further. Can I go one step further? You know Jesus talked about two gates? Two ways.

Two permanent endings. The whole sermon connects. Two builders. Two trees. All builders, two trees. All right, everybody look. I want to show you, because the storms and the winds, the weather here is a metaphor for the final judgment. It is a metaphor for a future event called the great white throne judgment in which every human being that ever lived, I don't if you don't believe in him or not, you will stand before Christ and give an account for what you did in this life.

Now everybody watch. All y'all in the risers watch. Because I love y'all, I won't leave you like this. I'm done with the sermon. We done. We about to get out of here in a few minutes, but I can't leave you like that. I want to show you a picture because Jesus came from where? From eternity. So you're standing on the loading dock of time.

And what does he know? He has full knowledge of the what? Of the end. So I want to show you the end of a foundation built on a rock. And I want to show you the end of the foundation built on sin. So you can't say you never heard. All right, let's do it. Let's turn to Revelation chapter 21. We'll go in the same order Jesus did. Let's look at the end of the house built on the rock. Revelation 21 verses 1 through 7. If a house was built on a rock, when that house dies, this is the end of that house. Revelation 21, everybody watch. Verse 1 through 7.

You ready? All right, here we go. This is John, an aged apostle, father of Christ who got a vision from Jesus. He's writing what Jesus told him to write down. Verse 21. Revelation 21, verse 1. Verse 1.

Then I saw the new heaven. I'm done now, now Frank And a new earth Frank was reading I love that Everybody watch For the first heaven and the first earth Had passed away And the sea was no more And I saw the holy city

New Jerusalem I love this Coming down out of heaven, because we won't be there forever, from God prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, Behold, the dwelling place of God is with men. And he will dwell with them.

He will dwell with them. And they will be his people. And God himself will be with them as their God. All that pain you're suffering now, he will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Loved ones we grieved over and death shall be no more. Ain't losing another family member. Neither shall there be mourning. Won't losing another family member. Neither shall there be mourning. Won't be sad another day.

Nor crying. Won't be hurt another day. Nor pain. Won't shed tears. Won't be grieved another day. Anymore. For the former things have passed away. And he, Christ, who was seated on the throne, said,

Behold, I am making all things new. Also, he said to John, write this down. These words are trustworthy and they are true. Don't matter what nobody say. And he said to me, it is done. I am the alpha and the omega. I am the beginning and the omega. I am the beginning and the end.

To the thirsty, I will give him the spring of water, a life without payment. Men, drink of this for eternity. This is the house built on a rock. Verse 7. The one who conquers, that is suffer now well, live well, will have this heritage. And I will be his God.

And he will be my son or my daughter. That's the end of the person who built their house on a rock. You know what that is? Eternal bliss for the endless ages of eternity. Why don't you not want that? No, I know what you want. You want the end of the sand foundation. So let me show you what that looks like.

Flip back one page to Revelation 20, verses 11 through 15. Let's do it. The great white throne. Then I saw a great white throne. This is the end of the sand foundation and him who was seated on it. From his presence, earth and sky fled away

and no place was found for them. And I saw the dead, great and small. you know what that means rich and poor influencer and unknown Jay-Z and Philip Beyonce and Lena we all gonna be there what were they doing standing Standing before the throne. And the books were open. Pay attention.

Then another book was open, which is the book of life. Watch. And the dead were judged by what was written in the books. That is all the things we're doing now. According to what they had done. And the sea gave up the dead who were in it. That's the world. The death and Hades, hell,

gave up the dead who were in them because hell is a temporary holy place. And they will all judge each one of them according to what they had done. Now pay attention to the last two verses.

This is Jesus on the loading dock. This is me shouting to you from the loading dock. This is me shouting to you from the loading dock. Verse 14 and 15. The death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death. Watch verse 15 that nobody wants to preach to you. And if anyone's name was not found written in the book of life,

he, she, they, pick your pronoun. All that demonic activity. In the beginning, God made them male and female. Was walking through the men's section of H&M like, what is this? Was in the men's section at Target like, what is this? You're trying to play me. You're trying to rob me of my pronoun. I don't want no socks with rainbows and pink pooh-pooh shorts in the men's section at H&M.

I don't need my... I don't need my... I don't need my... I don't need my... I don't need my... I don't need my... I don't need my... that's split the distinction between Godly and the perverted. I don't care.

It's on real prophets' talk. And anyone's name not found written in the Lamb's book of life was tossed into the lake of fire. But your prophet don't talk to you about hell, though. And the final judgment, though. That is the end of the one who built their house, their life on the sand.

Now I'm going to ask you a question. How could you in God's name not take seriously this sermon that was not preached by Philip, don't move, not take seriously this sermon that was not preached by Philip, by Stephen Bird, by D.D. Chase,

How could any person who understands that Jesus is God in the flesh not take this sermon seriously? You played around with your life. You can blow off my sermon. You can blow off the sermon of your favorite preacher. Nah, fam, my friend, you got to make a decision what you do with the sermon on the mount. You either hear these words, put them in practice, and build your life on them, or hear these words, reject them, and build your life on the sand, the rock or the

sand. Let's land a plane. The narrow gate or the broad gate? The narrow way or the foolish builder it all begins at the gate you choose and my only question for you watch me right now is will you enter the narrow gate? Will you listen to real prophets? Will you walk down the narrow road? Will you build on the rock? It's your choice.

You can fool me. You can fool me. You can fool somebody else. You can't fool God. Right now, as I'm talking to you, he already knows what gate you're behind, what road you're traveling down, what voices you're listening to, what fruit is in your life,

what building project you're working on. He already knows. This is me standing on the dock in 2023 shouting to you, my friend, choose the narrow gate. My friend, enter the narrow gate. My friend, go down the narrow way. My friend, listen to real prophets.

My friend, build on the rock. This is me standing on the loading dock shouting to you, that ship that you're about to board is going to go down. Don't walk past me don't board that ship of deception and self-righteousness like the pharisees come off that loading dock come off that broadway

stop listening to false prophets and enter in the narrow way that leads to life and the eternal state will you enter through christ every head bowed every eye close let's pray i'm gonna do something different today i don't want anybody moving except my prayer team. We're going to do something different. Every head bowed, every eye closed. Now I'm talking to you.

And some of you sitting here listening to me thinking he's talking to the person next to me. No, I'm talking to you. And some of you sitting here listening to me thinking he's talking to the person next to me. No, I'm talking to you. I want you right now to examine your life. What is it being built on? Do you really have a love for Jesus?

Are you really getting up in the morning thinking about him? Are you thinking about him throughout the day? Do you hear songs of praise and worship welling up in your heart? Are you desiring righteousness? Can I go deeper? Are you hungry and thirsty for righteousness? Are you a peacemaker? Are you hungry and thirsty for righteousness? Are you a peacemaker? Are you merciful?

Are you really hungry for Lord? I'm talking to you right now. Here's what I want you to do. I don't even want to know who this is. I want you right now in your heart. you get right with God right there in your seat I'm talking to people in this room who are far away from God and you know it I'm talking to people in this room you've been in church your whole life and you're far away from God and you know it I'm talking to people somebody

brought you here and you're not here by accident. And you know it. You know about God, but you're not living for him. And you know it. You know that. Your life does not bear the fruit of the Sermon on the Mount. You know it. But here is the love of God. Shout it.

Son. Daughter. Come off of that loading dock. Don't get on that ship. Come off of that ship of deception. Come off of that ship of self-righteousness. Come through this narrow gate. My arms are open wide to you.

I love you. I'm in here. Do it right there in your seat. Do it right there in your seat. There are believers in this room who think you're believers. You need to repent. Say, God, I'm sorry. I've been around you.

I've been doing church. I've been a phony. I repent.. Say, God, I'm sorry. I've been around you. I've been doing church. I've been a phony. I repent. I surrender my life. I'm sorry. Forgive me for my sin. I'm talking to everybody from the front to the back. Man, repent.

Right there in your chair. You may never have this opportunity again. I trust in you. Repent. repent tell him you're sorry ask him to forgive you for your sins say Jesus I give you my life I give you all of me Lord I surrender

I'm not running another day I put my faith in you will not be shaken shaken and I will build my life upon your love it is a firm foundation and I will put

God, that from that broad way to that narrow way, that foundations are being changed, that we have new builders in this room who will be building their lives on the rock of Jesus. I pray you fill them with your spirit. Lead them and guide them into your purposes. May they mourn. May they shed your tears. may they have your desires may they be filled with your love may they spend the rest of their life

pursuing your purposes and building their lives on the rock that is Christ we pray a blessing over them all of these men and women, hundreds of them, in the mighty and majestic

and the matchless name of our Lord and our Savior. Now listen to me. I don't know who repented and who did not. I don't know who was a Christian trying to rededicate.

I don't even know what that is. did not. I don't know who was a Christian trying to rededicate. I don't even know what that is. I just believe something happened in your heart. I believe by faith there's genuine repentance in this room. I see the tears of repentance falling all over this room. And I want to believe that hundreds of you came off that broadway. No more false assurance. No more false acceptance. You are his in the name of Jesus.

You are his son. You are his daughter. We're about to shame the devil right now No more tears of sorrow Now tears of joy I'm going to try to take a move on Thank you Jesus Yeah Yeah

The scripture says, the what says? The scripture says, if any person is in Christ, you are brand new creation. Brand new. Look right at me. The old is gone. The new has come. You are now a wise builder. Wise builder. What's under your feet is the rock of Jesus. God is your father. He has forgiven you of all your sin. And the only thing you got to do after today

is just pursue him. Talk to him. Ask him. Tell him about everything going on in your life. Lord, I'm struggling with lust. I'm struggling with masturbation. I got to forgive this person. I need a new job. Teach me your word.

Guide my steps. Open these doors. Just keep talking to him over and over. And just build a deep, intimate, personal relationship with the one who just saved your soul. Look right at me. He's not reminding you of your past. He's not condemning you of your mistakes. All of that has been erased. Glory is your new destination Now watch
