I want to talk to you plainly for just a second before we jump into the proclamation of God's word okay see I have them singing all these extra songs about Jesus because in the first gathering before you got here we experienced what felt like some serious warfare against our church. My mic not working. They bring out another mic, it's not working. Everything they gave me is not working. It was almost like the devil was trying to hinder the proclamation of God's word.

I want you to listen to me carefully, and I don't care. Okay? Listen to me carefully, and I don't care, okay? Listen to me carefully. This church is not founded on gimmicks and stunts, if you're new. This church was birthed in January of 23 out of one passage from the Scriptures, Matthew 28, 19. The great commission of the Lord Jesus Christ That the whole foundation of our ministry is built on that passage And on Acts 2 42-47 It's what we talk about in our staff meetings

It's the tears that we shed in prayer It's the seriousness we have in private It's the time we turn our plates down It's how we want to live holy in private It is what we we have in private. It's the time we turn our plates down. It's how we want to live holy in private. It is what we're doing in private. Because we are serious about this thing. I'm telling you we are.

And I believe God is gathering, you see, souls under this banner, not because of a man, but because we're living in the last days and he's trying to do something in Atlanta to restore honor and homage to the Lord Jesus Christ. And while it is unfortunate that some have come at dawn and others have been toppled, we are fighting.

We are fighting in prayer and fighting in private. That no no force will slow down what the Lord is doing in 2019. Fix it. No problems all summer until I got here. And what if I'm feeling what I'm feeling about this ministry? If what I'm feeling about what the Lord is doing in this church is real, then we're not just battling demons. 2019 ain't just battling demons. No, we are feeling the winds of the principalities and powers

of the air above the city of atlanta that's coming against this church so listen we are we are fighting against those principalities we are fighting against those powers man we're waging war in the spirit this ain't no joke and these sermons ain't coming from google or from ai or from some chat. The proclamation of God's word from this platform is being born of fire and prayer from the spirit of God. I'm going to tell the truth.

A man, somebody warned me yesterday about attacks coming against myself and my family. And how I need to increase the intercession around. You see, Satan the Lord rebuke you. Somebody warned me yesterday to increase the intercession around my life and around our church. I'm so serious about this that's why we employ a full time intercessor on our staff

we not playing around and we got 60 people on a prayer team listen to me don't clap for that I'm asking I'm trying to increase our intercessor team by 240 people until we have an army of 300 men and women that are completely devoted to nothing else but prayer over this house so I'm making an announcement right I

don't care about the program I'm making an announcement, right? I don't care about the program. I'm making an announcement right here, right now. If your life is in order in private, if you are running from sin, if you hate iniquity, if you're fighting for purity of heart, if you are submitted to the scriptures in the Lord Jesus Christ, if you are not involved in sexual sin and immorality, I am calling 240 people to join our prayer team who don't have filthy hands. There's a woman down here named Rhonda. You come and see her afterwards or you go to growth track. I'm believing God will have 300 people on our prayer team in 12 months.

I feel like the devil is fighting this church on every front.

Amen. this Thursday night we have a prayer gathering if you're new to our church called Access it is one hour of prayer and I'm calling as many of you as possible to join us for Access

not at 7 or 1 not at 7.26, 7 to 8. We hijacked that from the book of Acts when the apostles went up to the temple for the hour of prayer. Not the 45 minutes of prayer, not the 38 minutes of prayer, one hour of prayer. It was just two accesses ago a man with stage four cancer was healed in this room. It was in our access just last year when we laid hands on a barren womb

and just learned that that woman is pregnant today in the name of Jesus. This Thursday, this is the hour to fight for your house. To fight for your marriage. To fight for your mind. To fight for your heart. To fight for your business, your ministry. This is the hour to be in God's presence.

Even if you don't know how to pray, you can come and just sit in God's presence for an hour and let us pray over you. And I call this access because we're doing this access going into our baptism weekend where we will baptize a thousand brothers and sisters in Jesus name I said a thousand baptized a thousand brothers and sisters this weekend and we're gonna pray and we're not gonna be prideful and arrogant we're gonna call on heaven to touch those waters and touch every person that goes into that watery grave and I ask this Sunday next Sunday okay our gatherings are going to change okay our gatherings are going to change it's not going to be the same after today

next weekend we have two gatherings only Saturday morning 10 a.m that's for the nine o'clock family sunday morning 10 a.m that's for this family so everybody in this gathering you meet us on sunday at 10 a.m if watching online and you was here in the last gathering your gathering is saturday at 10 a.m we're splitting the body in half because we don't have space for everybody. Everybody clear? The Sunday after that, we will not be here. We're taking an all-church Sabbath to give our servant leaders a rest.

And then the Sunday after that, September 8th, we will not come back to these gatherings. So if you're sitting in the overflow right now, and there's people... If you're sitting in the overflow... If you're not familiar who Matthew was, he was an outcast Jew who worked for the Roman government in the first century AD. He was converted to Christianity by the Lord Jesus Christ himself. He wrote the book that bears his name and the book that we are studying. And we've been in this book for a year and a half. And we'll be in this book until the middle of next year. Until we get to the great commission if you are a note taker today we're going to study just two verses together a very quick message very quick message two verses together matthew chapter 17 verses 22 through 23. And I just shout out to my sister for her bravery, her courage to go over there and do what she felt like God put in her heart. Matthew chapter 17, verse 22 and 23. Quick message, two verses. We want to put a title on this text. A powerful prophecy. Eternal God and ever wise Father Lord we humble ourselves right now in your presence we acknowledge that you are great that you are mighty

that you are worthy we thank you Lord for your son, through whom you have brought many of us out of darkness into this marvelous light. You robbed us of our depravity, and you brought us amongst your elect, your redeemed, those you are reconciling to yourself before judgment comes. Lord, we thank you that in our fight against principalities and powers, we are not helpless. We know that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against all of these things. But we thank you for the spirit that is alive in the church and the spirit that is alive

in us. We thank you for warring angels. We thank you that you are the Lord of hosts, the captain of the armies of heaven, and that the full force of the power of heaven is behind your church, your body in the earth. We thank you that our prayers are powerful. We thank you that the righteous are powerful. We thank you, Lord, that you are building a church on the rock, that it will not stop, it will endure and persevere, and that you would return for a bride without spot and without wrinkle, and that we would return for a bride without spot and without wrinkle and that we would be amongst that bride by faith we come against every demonic force arrayed against 2819

we say satan the lord rebuke you in the name of jesus whom you know and father god i pray in our weakness i pray in my weakness just these two verses god that you would breathe revelation across this platform into your people i pray god for an awakening in the sons and daughters and i pray for the unbeliever in the room the unbeliever in the overflow the unbeliever in the lobby the unbeliever listening to me right now, will they be troubled in their soul? And in your sovereignty, will you bring some of them into the kingdom of heaven? Even as the word is being proclaimed, you are strong enough to do that. So we thank you for the power of your word and for what you're about to do in us

in just the next few minutes, two short verses. We ask in the mighty and the majestic and the matchless name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. If you agree with me, would you do me a favor? Would you make the devil nervous and shout unto God with the voice of triumph.

Thank you, Frank. A powerful prophecy. Family, in this life, the most powerful emotion you and I will ever feel or experience in our human walk is the emotion of love. And according to the word of God, when when love is perfect it casts out all fear but when love is immature and when love is still in developmental stages love often time has the ability to be bound by fear hindered by fear handc bound by fear, hindered by fear, handcuffed by fear, even be made hardened by fear. I was reminded of this this week in my prayer time as I was preparing these two verses of in a moment in my life in the year before we started this pastoral journey back in 2011 where the life of my family was altered in one day when my family and I was sitting in a hospital in a waiting room

and a doctor who needed sensitivity training walked into that waiting room and said your father has six months to live the cancer in his body will be fatal so you need to go home and put your affairs in order and see the administrator on the way out it was in that moment my mother who is a beast in the spirit she had a type of divine calm that I could not understand. I gather in my mind, in hindsight, even my mother had confidence that my father would be healed of cancer or in her maturity she believed that in his death he would be freed from a life of suffering. Because my father had been battling cancer for years. And towards the end, he was

writing in journals and he stopped talking. He was feeling nervous about what death was going to be like and what was on the other side of death. And my mother probably saw that. And in her maturity, she taught me that maybe he would pass and he would be freed from his suffering. Because she understands the scriptures. And she knows that ultimately my father was healed. Although he is not here to see what his son did become, my father is running the streets of glory right now with a glorified body. Because even if he does not heal in this life, if he does not repair my left eardrum in this life,

if I suffer with tinnitus for the rest of my life and got to sleep with a rain machine so I can not be tormented by silence, he will heal me in this life or in the next and there is nothing we're suffering right now that's greater than what the Lord has prepared for all of us who are his sons and his daughter So my mother was calm, but I was not calm. I was angry and I was distressed because in my love, I did not want to be separated from my father. My love was not mature enough to hear the spirit of my mom or to hear the words of my mom.

She will be all right. My love was not mature enough to hear that spirit of my mom or to hear the words of my mom she will be all right my love was not mature enough to hear that my love was handcuffed by fear watch this is the crazy immaturity of love that i believe is swirling around the prophecy of this text by the time we get to this text in Matthew chapter 17 the Lord Jesus is in his early 30s he is coming down to the end of what was a three and a half year earthly ministry he knows his time in the earth is about to be concluded and what he does is he takes these two verses to try to prepare his followers for a transition of his absence unsuccessfully for the second time Matthew who was there on that day he wrote for us what Jesus said to them Matthew chapter 17 and verse 22 matthew recorded as they were gathering in galilee i've been there i've been

to galilee and walked around the sea of galilee i've sailed on the sea of galilee beautiful as they were gathering in galilee listen jesus said to them listen the son of man is about to be delivered into the hands of men. Who are they? Stop. They is Jesus and his 12 apostles, the first followers of the Lord Jesus Christ. Now some 2 billion of us around the world. They are the men who heard the teachings of Jesus firsthand. Listen, they are the men who saw Jesus perform miracles. Listen, they are they, some of them who saw him raise a little girl from the dead. They are they who Jesus poured his life into and disciple and invested all of his teachings into. They are they who would give birth to the first Christian church. They would be the leaders of the first Christian church.

That is they, okay? That is them. And when I look at them, I'm telling you, they give me hope. Listen to me. The disciples of Jesus gives me hope because you will learn in the next verse that although he was talking to them about a transition,

they was afraid. They did not understand what he was saying. Now, this gives me hope family, because when we read back in Matthew chapter 16, pay attention. Jesus tells them this for the very first time. He says in Matthew chapter 16, he says to them, the son of man has passed to go to Jerusalem. Listen, he's going to be turned over to the elders listen he's going to suffer many things he will be killed and resurrected from the grave so this is the second time he's telling them this the first time he tells them this peter walks up to the lord jesus grabs him by his shoulders takes him into corner, and rebukes the mess out of him. Oh, heck no, Lord. You can't leave us right now. And the Lord says to him, get behind me, Satan, because you've got to discern every voice is not God's voice. The Lord would speak, listen, the devil would talk to a friend to frustrate you. Can I just remind somebody of something? Side note. In Matthew chapter 4, when Jesus was in the wilderness being tempted by the devil, Jesus said it is written the devil said it is written you got to discern the difference jesus was quoting scriptures the devil was quoting scriptures you got to discern the difference

oh you think because they got a microphone they men and women of god oh you think because they got a microphone, they men and women of God. Or you think because they got a Facebook live, they men and women of God. Let me remind you, Jesus was quoting scriptures. The devil was quoting scriptures. You have to discern the difference. Every voice is not a God voice. Can I go deeper the Lord is not the author of confusion so in the body of Christ there are voices that Jesus planted voices that the devil

planted and voices that planted themselves who the Lord did not send so you got to discern when you listen into to preaching. Is this God's voice? Is this the devil's voice? Or is this a man or woman who is not anointed for that place? Would it be inappropriate if I took off my sweater? So the Lord rebukes Peter And he says get behind me Satan watch so this is the second time he's

trying to prepare them for a transition watch and I want you to listen to what they heard the son of man is about to be delivered into the hands of men let me tell you what they heard the son of man is about to be delivered into the hands of men the creator is about to be delivered into the hand of creation what they was hearing was i'm about to be betrayed i'm about to be arrested i'm about to be persecuted i'm about to be turned over i'm about to be watch this word separated from you is what they heard and i want you to pay attention to i'm about to be watch this word separated from you is what they heard and i want you to pay attention to the words when he says watch and about to be delivered into the hands delivered into the hands is code language for watch it was the father's will for him to be

delivered into the hands of persecutors i.e sometimes it is the father's will for us to suffer certain things or in certain seasons to bring about god's purposes in our life the creator was about to submit to the will of the father to be persecuted by creation he was about to be persecuted by people he created he was about to submit to the uncomfortable unwanted will of his father for everyone who calls themselves a Christian are we submitted to the father at that level can we submit to the will of the father even when it's unwanted or even when it don't feel good when the Lord is telling you leave that church and come to 2819 can you submit when the Lord is telling you leave that job and start the ministry

can you submit when the Lord is telling you break up and come out of that relationship can you submit when the lord is telling you man to leave that city and move to another can you submit can you submit to the lord even when you know you're about to suffer do you love him enough to suffer and suffer well for the name of the lord because if we are true followers we cannot just paddle our ears with tingling voices of false prophets that keep you comfortable in sin no we gotta know in this life we must live well and we must suffer well for the name of the lord jesus christ suffer well for the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Man, there's a single woman in here. A couple months ago, the Lord told you no more sex until marriage. And can you submit?

I wanted to start a church in D.C. Or New York or New Jersey. That's where I was praying, Lord, if I have to pass it, which is, I did not want to do this because I wanted to be an attorney. And I got a degree in criminal justice. And I was praying Lord if I have to pass it which is I did not want to do this I want to be an attorney and I got a degree in criminal justice and I was headed to law school and the Lord closed that door so what I'm doing right now I'm doing out of obedience not out of glory this is not glory for me this is obedience this is a cross this is me suffering I don't always feel prepared I don't always feel skilled I don't want to prepared. I don't always feel skilled. I don't want to prepare an oral presentation every week of my life. Even when I had a hella week, I don't want to always do that. This right here where I'm standing, this ain't for lights.

This is me suffering for the name of Jesus. This is me surrendering to his will. And then I wanted to be in D.C. I didn't want it to be down here. Me coming to Atlanta is submitting to his will. Can you submit to his will even when it goes against yours? Right. But let's go deeper in the verse.

I want to draw your attention to the words about to. About to means this is for space and time that this is about to happen very soon he's telling them very soon i'm about to be separated from you now everybody pay attention to what i'm about to tell you next the words about you and what he's saying to them here in this text this is the lord using words watch this to loosen their grip from the concept of physical intimacy because he know he's about to be taken away from them permanently in the earth he will be removed he will come back for 40 days he will be gone and what he's doing right now is using his words to loosen their grip from their physical attachment to him as a person. Because what he's about to do is leave and tag team.

And send back the Holy Spirit to be their leader. He's going to tell them later on. I will no longer be with you. But I will send a helper. The Holy Spirit. The paraclete, the one who comes beside you, the one who talks to you, guides you, leads you, reminds you, rebukes you, empowers you. He's not an it. He's not a force, false religion.

He's not an it or force. He is a person. He is the third person of the Trinity, the Godhead. I get tired of people trying to call him an it or force. You call him that because you're not read. When John recorded, Jesus says, when he. You know what the Holy Spirit's pronoun? He. He.

I'm coming for all the mother God talk. False. false I'm coming for all the mother God talk the Lord has a pronoun. He's called he the Holy Spirit The Lord has pronouns. He, when He comes, He will tell you all things. He will remind you of all things. He will do this. He will do that.

He, He, He. So we correct that mother God talk We correct that Hebrew Israelite talk God is a singular being Who has revealed himself In the person of the father The son and the Holy Spirit. We correct that false doctrine. Mother God, Hebrew Israelites, and all these false Christian spin-offs.

We serve one God who exists in three persons. God the Father, God the Son, God the... And if you're a Hebrew Israelite in this room, you're welcome to be here, but you're not welcome to spread your false doctrine in this church. And if you're down with Mother God, you're welcome to be here. But you're not welcome to spread your false doctrine in this church. We will find you and win you to the Lord is using language Listen to me, I'm almost done True story The Lord is using language, listen to me

To loosen their grip from their physical attachment to him because he's about to leave now family when we look over our shoulder does not the Lord has not he done this to you and I there are people in this room right now including myself who can testify of times in our life where the Lord was loosening my grip from something I held so close. Watch. Loosening my grip from something I held so close to prepare me for some new assignment or a new life that was on the other side of a transition that was coming in my life. So for some of you, man man he loosened your grip through the process of betrayal you was betrayed by somebody and he loosened your grip

from bad company for some of you you've been rejected and he was loosening your grip from bad friends and family for some some of you, you lost a job and he was loosening your grip to lead you into something you would not have went and got on your own. For some of you, he loosened your grip from the city you was in to move you to Atlanta to be a part of 2819 Church listen the Lord will use discontentment to loosen your grip it's like I've been on this job for a long time but I'm feeling very discontent sometimes that's divine he'll use discouragement to loosen your grip he'll use warfare to loosen your grip he'll lose unwanted circumstance to loosen your grip he'll use warfare to loosen your grip he'll lose unwanted circumstance to loosen your grip

you you clutching that thing very tight and lord says i'm gonna pry your fingers off of it watch and when you look over your shoulder as you grow in the faith you realize that the lord has loosened your grip from some things to prepare you for either a new life or a new assignment on the other side of a transition that was coming in your life. For the followers of Christ, he was using prophetic language to loosen their grip from their physical hold of him. Because he was getting ready to leave. Last verse. Verse 23. And he finishes the statement. I want to just read to you the whole thing.

As they were gathering in Galilee, Jesus said to them, The Son of Man is about to be delivered into the hands of men by the will of the Father. And they will kill him. Verse 23. And he will be raised on the third day. And they were greatly distressed. See, you should be shocked right now. And the reason you're shocked is because we read over what just happened.

Let me read this to you one more time. see if you can catch this in a text and he said to them and they will kill him talking about himself he will be raised on the third day listen to what they heard watch watch this you listen to what they heard. Watch this. Listen to what they heard. Watch. But watch their response. But they were greatly distressed. Pause. What is Jesus prophesying about in verse 23? He's prophesying about the fulfillment of the gospel.

He's prophesying about his death on the cross. Listen, I'm almost done. He's prophesying to them that just a little while, I'm about to come do what I came to do. I'm about to nail to the cross all of your sin, past, present, and future. I'm about to nail to the cross all of your mistakes. I'm about to snatch people from depravity And bring them into the marvelous light

Watch I'm about to fulfill the gospel message That has been prophesied for thousands of years Watch The Lord is prophesying about the first greatest event in human history The death of Christ on the cross that without the cross we are all held down without the cross there is no forgiveness of sins without the cross you do not have a righteousness strong

enough to stand in the presence of a holy God your righteousness and good works and good deeds it's not strong enough to stand in the presence of a holy God. Without the cross, you cannot even have a relationship with God the Father. Some Christians, I'm telling you this right now. Some Christians, you're so familiar with the Lord and you're so bougie and prideful. Watch. That the cross don't even excite you anymore. All you want to hear about is blessing.

But let a preacher talk about the cross. You ain't going to shout. When I hear the cross, man, something wells up in my spirit. I get excited when I hear the cross. I get a flashback of my life when I hear the cross. I remember what he saved me from when I hear the cross. I remember how I was held down when I hear about the cross. Is anybody thankful for the cross? Is anybody thankful for the cross?

Yes! He's prophesying about that instrument of death. Look at me. I'm almost done. Look at me. He's prophesying about the instrument of death that allowed some of you to put on your shirt, your bracelet, your heart, your notebook. For the son has set me. For if we abide in his word and we are really his disciples then we know the truth the truth

of what happened on that cross we know the righteousness that was imputed to me and because of that cross i don't have to carry the price for my own sins It's like for those of us who's ever been in court like me and stand in front of a judge facing prison time like me. Imagine standing in front of a judge facing prison time like I was. Imagine a man walks through the back of the court. He walks up next to you and push you out the way and says to the judge, I'm going to pay the price for what they just did. All right, you clap. But then let me ask you a question. How do you walk out that courtroom and then don't have no conversation with that man after that? How do you walk out that courtroom and not show gratitude to the man that set you free?

How do you walk out that courtroom and not give your life in gratitude to the man that set you free? You was on your way to eternal damnation. How do you walk out that courtroom and not turn back to give that man the gratitude that's deserved him. Somebody give Jesus. I just wish I had a church. No, this ain't old school gospel. And women stand on the stage and women stand on the stage they prophesy for 50 minutes about blessing and then they tell you to praise god

now listen to me carefully i am not against praising god for the material things he's given me because i owe him that but praising god for material things would not be at the top of my list you see I will thank God audibly and in my heart for everything he's done for me But at the top of that list is my salvation first Now let's practice in Atlanta if anybody's thankful for your salvation give him praise right now. close about the greatest event in human history you know what that is the resurrection of christ watch why do i say this is the greatest event in human history the death of christ and the resurrection of christ split the earth or split the calendar of time between those two events into years bc and years ad and new domini in the year of our lord latin the entire calendar that you're on right now is split between these two events so every time you write 2024 you are acknowledging that christ was resurrected 2024 years ago. That's for the atheists too. Every time you write the date, you are acknowledging the resurrection of Christ. Without the, listen to me, I'm landed with, this is in the Bible without the resurrection of Christ. Paul said, we have believed in vain.

That is, all of this is vain if Christ is not raised. Muhammad is in a box. Joseph Smith is in a box. Every progenitor of every religion is in a box. Then why are you distressed? Why are you distressed? I'm closing. Here's my last point. The last thing I want to say. Why are they distressed? Look, because all they heard in their immature love, now watch, we don't want you to leave.

They love him, so they don't want him to leave. But what they should have listened to was he will be raised. Why am I bringing this to your attention as I land the plane? Why? Watch. Everybody watch. They let their emotions eclipse the truth of God's Word. No you don't get it watch it's gonna make sense in a second who is he talking to? His disciples. What

ethnicity are there? Jews. What did they have in their possession? The Old Testament. So because they had the Old Testament what should they what did they have knowledge of? They had knowledge that the Christ would come. The Christ would live. The Christ would suffer. The Christ would die. The Christ would be buried for three days. The Christ would be resurrected. The Christ would reign.

And although they got knowledge of the Old Testament, in this moment, they let their emotions eclipse the word of God. So their emotions in the moment were stronger than the truth of God's word. Watch. And how many times have you and I allowed our emotions in the middle of a season or moment to eclipse the truth of God's word. Listen to me. I am guilty of this. Listen, I'm guilty of this. Listen, I am guilty of my, listen, your emotions are real and your emotions are legitimate. But listen to me. I want to encourage one person in this room, one sister, one brother. I want to encourage a thousand people. Listen to me. Yes, your emotions are legitimate. Yes, your emotions are real. But there comes a time, man, where we buckle down with that Bible and we can't let our emotions eclipse the word of God.

I want to encourage you that the word of God is more real than your emotions I know you feel abandoned but the word says he will never leave you nor forsake you I know you feel like he's not listening but the word says he hears the cry of his righteous children. I Know you feel like you're not gonna survive this financially But the word says we've never seen the righteous forsaken or his seed begging bread I know but the word says I know but the word says I know but the word says I Feel I know, but the word says. I feel, but the word says. I feel this.

It feels icky on the inside. It makes me cry at night. But the word says. Lord, I don't see it. I don't even feel it but because your word says I'm just going to believe what your word says is more real than what I'm feeling right now

I'm feeling this way I'm feeling some type of way I feel tired I feel weary I feel like God don't care about me I feel like he's not pleased with me but I gotta bury my face in the Psalms and in the New Testament and in the Old Testament and in Proverbs and even though I feel this way I gotta go back to the I'm talking to me man me when I feel insecure and I feel like last night I was face down on my floor feeling like Lord I'm not equipped to do this but I gotta remember the Lord said that I'm chosen he anointed me with the Holy Spirit I gotta remember that the Lord is doing this with me preaching with with me, leading with me. My mind is going crazy, but the word says we take thought every captive. We take captive every thought that sets itself up against the knowledge of God and we tear it down.

So when the devil is lying to me, I go back to what the word says. And when my emotions is out of whack, I go back to what the word says. And when you feel unloved, you go back to what the word says. And when you feel like there's nobody in your corner, you go back to what the word says. when you feel like there's nobody in your corner you go back to what the word says watch this can i go deeper and when you feel like your life has not turned

out the way that you wanted it to do when you feel like things in your life is not the way you want it to be i know you're not going to get excited for this but i don't care in all of my hell I remind myself what this Bible says that the suffering of this present time is not worthy to be compared to the glory that shall be revealed to those of us who are in Christ Jesus I may suffer now for just a little while

but there is a life coming for me where there will be no more tears and no more sorrow, no more sickness and no more pain. I am headed for a life that the Lord Jesus has gone to prepare a place for me. So I suffer now. I cry now. I remember what the word says. When I feel like nobody understands me, Philip Anthony Mitchell, when I feel like nobody understands me, I'll go back to the word and I know that I'm perfectly understood by my father. When I feel like I'm awkward and people don't understand me all the way, when I feel like, why did the Lord wire me this way? Watch. This is me. True story.

And so I need to encourage anybody listening, your feelings are real,. Your feelings are real. And your feelings are legitimate. The Lord cares. He knows. He sees. And you say, well, Lord, I can't hear you. I need to go listen to Prophet so-and-so.

No. If you want to hear God's voice, here is over 1,166 pages of God's voice and I want you to notice this in the text watch I know you don't trust me so look I'm gonna close the bible okay bible's closed I want you to notice this last thing in the text the lord is not only prophesying about the fulfillment of the gospel watch this watch what he's doing. He's prophesying about the future. Pastor, why are you telling us that? Because I want you to see a beautiful character of the Lord.

It is his will for his children to know his will. Gosh. The Lord actually wills for his children, watch this, to know the future. Watch. Why does that matter? Because when you understand the future, it will govern how you live right now. The Old Testament is replete with prophets telling the children of Israel about the future. They just want to listen, so they have to get disciplined. The New Testament is full of apocalyptic language from the Lord

Jesus Christ. The New Testament and the book of Revelation telling his children the future. You know why? Because the Lord wills for his children to know his will. He wants you to know the future. He gave us a whole Document about the future so watch you you think I'm tripping about what I'm suffering now When I really know this book says I'm gonna end up in glory You you think I'm gonna let the devil poke me out now When I know the Bible teaches me in vernacular that he's on a leash the devil could go but so far Joe you could do whatever you want don't touch his body don't touch his life the devil's on a leash so why should I be

afraid of him you always talking about the devil's on a leash, so why should I be afraid of him? How do I know that? The word says so. My ear is going to be healed. How do I know that? The word says so. My marriage is a picture of Christ in the church, so I'll fight like hell for my marriage. Why? Because the word says so.

My children are like arrows. That I disciple and I release them one after the other. Because the word says so. I know that I will not see one day in hell. I know that one day I'll be seated with christ at the maverick supper of the lamb i know that one day i will get a crown i know that one day i will live in a mansion better than every house down here i know that one day i will not feel any more torment or pain because of what the word says so if you know the future and can govern how you live down here,

watch. And because I know the future, because I know the Lord is going to recreate, watch this, a new world, new grass, new trees, fresh oxygen, fresh water, no evil, no death, no no pain no sin watch because I know the future is why I live the way I live right now I live like a wild man on mission because I already know utopia is not now utopia is coming that's why I govern the way I live right now because I know the future you think you think I was like this you think I'm like this because I'm a pastor no I'm a sold-out ninja because I know the future.
