Starting point is 00:02:21 Yes. Very special. Steve, you can go ahead and say I'm Steve. I'm Steve. Yeah, there you go. I feel like I'm on a wheel and fortune penalty moment here. Coming up on today's app, Father's Day is this Sunday. So Cody and his dad, Steve, are here to play a fun father's son game.
Starting point is 00:02:37 Later, Tyler and Josh are taking us behind the scenes of that awesome DP outdoors python hunt. Plus, we're going to catch up on all the biggest world. CUP News and we have a new NBA and Stanley Cup champ. But first, welcome Steve. Happy Early Father's Day. Steve Jones. Have you ever heard that like you look like the name you are? Steve was destined to be a Steve.
Starting point is 00:02:59 It's true. And he wanted to call me Steve Jr., but my mom shut it down and went with Cody. See, you look like a Steve Jr. Dude, yeah. He looked like an SJ. That would have been a problem because your credit report always gets mixed up. Was there any other names other than Cody that y'all can say? considered with him?
Starting point is 00:03:15 I'm sure there was, but I don't remember him. Rebecca. Well, they thought he was a girl for the longest time. He's just going to be a roast. I do not like this. The ultrasound was very girly. They had to be prepared. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:31 No, we knew he was a boy. We were proud that he was a boy. The third one we were hoping was a girl because we had two boys already, but we were blessed to have Connor, too, so three boys was awesome. And those that are not aware, my dad had vocal surgery. in 2002. 1994, 95. Way long time ago.
Starting point is 00:03:51 Well, it's because he was yelling at Cody. Yes. Yeah. So we're just glad he can tell you. Y'all little boys and all of a sudden I couldn't read. And anyway, that was a different story. You could read. You couldn't read out loud.
Starting point is 00:03:59 Read out loud. You could read. You could read. You could read. You can read. Texas A&M, baby. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:05 Y'all watch the final, NBA finals. NHHL? I did. Both. Oh, yeah. Steve, what are you, don't define watch. I tape them in fast.
Starting point is 00:04:14 forward to the goals sometimes. For the World Cup? Fes for the World Cup. Yeah. Let's get U.S. if it's U.S. I watch it all. But the others, like I watched Japan score their goal last night. Because it was at Cowboys Stadium. Dallas Stadium's what they're calling it now.
Starting point is 00:04:30 Yeah, they are calling it. But I'll tape it and I can fast forward. When somebody scores, I'll rewind it and watch all. And those guys are talented. You're still a direct TV? What are you? TiV. Frontier. Frontier. Frontier. Frontier. Can fly out here and cut the cable.
Starting point is 00:04:44 spending a lot more money. I know. Actually checks out. Frontiers like the Sega Genesis. It's a lot for me. Our generation, I know how to use it. That's what's important. Sure.
Starting point is 00:04:55 Sure. That's the toughest part about integrating new technology to my mother is it you have to have the month-long training session. It's hard to go to these guys' house and use their TVs because there's a lot of complicated options. Well, Steve, you don't come off as a soccer guy, but you say you've been enjoying the World Cup. What did you say to me yesterday about?
Starting point is 00:05:14 about soccer? Oh, somebody at church yesterday said, you know why, you play soccer, so you don't have to watch it. That's pretty good. That's kind of my tag. A lawyer aggie friend of mine. That checks out. That checks out. How about Jaylen Brunson, though, getting a title? Yeah, that was from Mavs to New York. I don't know. It was sad that he left the Mavs, but I'm happy for him. How old were you when the Knicks last one? 1973. 73. I was 17? 17 years old. You were born in 50. He had long blonde hair at that time. We have 45 points for the ex-Mav Brunson.
Starting point is 00:05:50 I saw a crazy stat. 28% of the series was led by the Knicks. 72% of that series, San Antonio had the lead. They had the first biggest blown NBA finals, the third biggest lead, and the fifth biggest lead. To me, being an Aggie, I am just excited to pass the torch to the San Antonio Spurs as the biggest choke job in the...
Starting point is 00:06:13 To ever play sport, congratulations, San Antonio Sparres. You did it. We will gladly pass the torch to you. We held it for a long time. We don't want it back. You can have it. They still have more titles than the Mavs, though. They do, but they haven't had that heartache that we had to go through.
Starting point is 00:06:29 To Garrett's point, it felt like 06. They had their little feeling of O6 when the MADS were up too O'O on the heat and ended up blowing it. They did dominate, and then they just fell apart. They couldn't make a shot. And it was glorious to watch. Also, so the Nix or, like, check-in is like the fifth best favorites for next. year title. People are thinking it's a fluke, or at least Vegas is thinking it's a fluke. Interesting. I don't like how people call a championship. They called the Rangers
Starting point is 00:06:52 World Series title a fluke. It's like they won the, they won the championship. It's no fluke. Well, they're just saying it's not going to be a dynasty and they turned out. That's not a fluke. That's a different word. It's just like that they're a one and done champion, but that's not a, it's not a fluke of a title. Yeah, they still made it happen. And they beat a really good team. And it took a lot of stars aligning to make it happen, I think is the point there. Yeah, I don't, I don't like that. You know, when the Aggies win the championship next year, it's not going to be a fluke. To the ice we go where the Carolina Hurricanes put it to bed. I'm really happy about this one. Twenty years in the making, Carolina Hurricanes went. Where do we stand on mascots being natural
Starting point is 00:07:31 disasters? Yeah, a lot of people have trauma. Because that one's weird. It's weird saying, go hurricanes. It's like, well, you know, you know, hurricanes have been responsible for a lot of, like, damage to infrastructure and people's lives. Yeah, San Jose earthquakes are like that in the MLS. I don't know if I can get behind the old Miami hurricane, same way. My parents met La Mesa. They're the La Mesa tornadoes.
Starting point is 00:07:53 Yeah, it's crazy that we don't have like hailstorm, like the Texas hail storms. You're onto something there. Yeah, great name. Expansion franchise. Yeah, I was pumped. Good for the coach. One at no six with them.
Starting point is 00:08:04 And now he won it as a coach. Jordan Stahl getting the cup. And then beating, just beating Vegas in general. In Vegas, too. I don't know if there's a better city to win a title win. Did you see the Vegas coach what he said today? Or what he said last night, he was like, I was so sure that there was going to be a game seven.
Starting point is 00:08:19 I left my clothes in Raleigh. And the Hurricanes tweeted back, like, don't worry, dude. We'll ship him back. Might be a couple days, though. Wow. Great, great tweet. I like that. I'm going to do that for our squad games.
Starting point is 00:08:32 Make sure I pack clothes for seven games. So nobody gets any thoughts. That's good. I kind of feel actually bad for the Stanley Cup in NBA finals a little bit because the whole hoopla of the, World Cup kind of outshining. I think New York avoided a what could have been a potential disaster in the fact that they were going to host a World Cup game Tuesday and game six if it came to it.
Starting point is 00:08:52 Wow. And that would have just been a little too much to handle. So, okay, congratulations to both the Knicks and Hurricane. You're watching car racing, Sparky? I was going to ask you that. I was going to lean on you. I've got a friend that's over in Lamont. He watched Lamont's all weekend.
Starting point is 00:09:04 Update you. What did I miss? What did I miss on the NASCAR season? All I kept up with because he was a Genesis dealer. They put two cars in and they both made the race. one finish their goal was just to finish the race 24 hours the low bar just finished the race that's what you're your first time to run 24 hours of lawns it's different than don't finish well I think and then Ham when I think won again yeah and that's the leader of renan of gas with a lap to go
Starting point is 00:09:29 and then and then Hamilton got his first victory and Ferrari yeah it's big um louis oh like yeah I we you know just you know our uh our uh What was your reaction to the tragedy of Kyle Bush? You're in NASCAR. Oh, I hated it. You're a NASCAR guy. But you weren't like, he was like, he was like a villain in Nashville. He either hated him or loved him.
Starting point is 00:09:55 So they like the long, he's like a Texas Longhorn. Kind of like the Cody Jones. But he won for a good team, Joe Gives. They always prayed before races. His wife and his kids would huddle up at the car. And it's a tragic deal. Got to listen to the doctors. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:12 He had pneumonia and fought through it. And that's what athletes do. They kind of ignore what's going on. And he was going to fight through it. And he tried to and got infected. Yeah. But his son's racing and Richard Childress is saving a spot for his son, who's 11.
Starting point is 00:10:26 But one day he'll get to maybe help. That's why I hear it almost athletes. If we'd feel any sort of bad, we just stay home. Oh, that's why we're not athletes, dude. Yeah. We, yeah, we don't chalk up. We don't chalk up. I'm out for, I'm out for two and a half, three weeks with the common
Starting point is 00:10:41 cold. All right. Can we get to the good stuff? I'm ready to talk USA Paraguay, baby. No, actually, we're going to talk M-O-B real quick. I'm going to take a nap. I still haven't seen video of it. Oh, here we go.
Starting point is 00:10:51 We do have video of it. Is it not great? I got text messages from people at the game. This is Abilene Christian Night at the ballpark where our very own, Tim Holtz, throughout the ceremonial first pitch. I did hear about this. Awesome. He was nervous.
Starting point is 00:11:05 Yeah, go ahead and play it. Let's get the live reaction here. Oh, he didn't even go to the rubber. No, he didn't. He short hopped it from the front. He looks good. He looks comfortable. Told him to wear the glove he did.
Starting point is 00:11:17 High leg kick. Oh. Oh. Oh. Wow. Really good pick by Jan Kowski, saving him right there. Yeah. I got text and they were like, who's this like dude perfect guy throwing pitches out?
Starting point is 00:11:30 And I was like, what are you talking about? Had no idea. And then Tim text us. And I was like, he got the old. I think you could swing at that. If you're, you know, if you're expecting a heater and it just bites. Yeah, get you out in front. I don't love the straight leg kick.
Starting point is 00:11:43 The straight leg kick is a... So you guys have experience throwing out pitches at MLB games? One, insane Lewis. How intimidating is it? Oh, it's intimidating. What's the worst thing that could happen? I mean, look, you're not going to be worse than like 50 cent or... Carly Ray Jepson.
Starting point is 00:11:57 Yeah, you're not going to throw it into the dugout. That's the straight to the left. It's one of those ones. If you go viral, it's a bad thing. You want to be like an umpire. Yeah. Where if you do it wrong, everybody's going to know about it. You do it right.
Starting point is 00:12:08 You kind of stay low-key. I personally think it would be better to owe you. overthrow and make him stand up the catch, then to short hop it, personally. Good take. Tim told me he got to toss the rock a little bit about 30 minutes before go time
Starting point is 00:12:23 and then had to sit there and just get iced out. People don't understand that that's a long throw. I've seen y'all do two of them. Yeah, we've done a couple. And then y'all did the banana and Savannah bananas, and that was pretty wild because only one of you had the ball. That was sparking. It was me. I missed my spot, Steve.
Starting point is 00:12:38 I had to rewind it to see who threw it. I couldn't tell. ball. It's tough. You're on an island out there. A lot of people watch. You were with six of us.
Starting point is 00:12:47 Yeah, true. But, uh, typically you are. That was good. That was a different way. We'll let you talk about it. Okay, I'm just, here's the thing.
Starting point is 00:12:53 For my whole life, I've tried to hype up my friends, hype up my family. Let's watch one soccer game every four years. Typically, we get into the game and we either get beat by a bad team
Starting point is 00:13:03 or we draw with a good team and all my friends and father included are like, man, soccer's so lame. And we finally, I got Steve to watch the game and we put on a show. And I'm just proud of my Americas.
Starting point is 00:13:17 Yeah, JV's proud too. Maybe the best showing since the 08 Confederations Cup. Well, I mean, they, a lot of the, like Alexie Lawless was saying, like, that might have been the best 45 minutes ever. That opening half? Clinical. It was, dude. Tip your cap to poach. You had the boys running and rallying.
Starting point is 00:13:35 I think the difference is also that the USA has actual depth to it. when you have the likes of like Raina, Perthalts, are coming off the bench. It's not just a starting-a-lid about Pulisic. I do feel good about our chance to at least get out of the group just because we got the four goals and like even if we somehow get third in the group,
Starting point is 00:13:55 like it's going to go to goal differential. That's his brain. He's already going to third in the group after we just won. Mine's going to the parade route. What city's going to host? I think we finish first. I'm just saying it.
Starting point is 00:14:05 Are you feeling good about the USA? You're pessimist. Stop. Enjoy it. I don't think we should be raised in a trophy. It was Paraguay. I think our adults' men league team has a chance to only lose one O to them. Did you have any countries that surprised you guys?
Starting point is 00:14:23 Countries that surprise me. Morocco looks the part. Morocco looks the part too. That Morocco Brazil. That group to me looks the toughest so far because I think Scotland's also going to be... Dude, they've got some braveheart in them. Just some belief. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:36 It would be Morocco, Morocco, Brazil, Scotland. Haiti. It's a tough group. In terms of watching the tourists come to America and thoroughly enjoying themselves has been awesome. And did you all see what the Japan fans did after the game? Cleaned up all the trash. They're leaving it put it and they found it. They're different. They're different. They're different. They're different. They're better than they found it. That's his life motto. Dude, if Japanese, their top three guys are injured. Japan's team. Wow. They look good. And they were down to starters. Yeah, they were injured. If they were here, watch out that that team. But I love what's part you're
Starting point is 00:15:05 talking about. He's talking about when Europeans come over here. They've been told that we're loud, we're greedy, or overweight, we're loud, we're greedy. And everything just overrated. But they're coming here and they're like freaking out because they had Olive Garden spaghetti and they're like, this is amazing. And went to Buckees. They're finding America. It's pretty awesome.
Starting point is 00:15:22 There was one clip. You've been saying it for years. There's one clip where I don't know what country they were from. I think it was Scotland, but they went into a bass pro and their minds could not comprehend. There's a gun shop over here. There's new boats over here and they're just like, what in the world is going on? It's pretty incredible. And then all the Scottish people went to Fenway Park last night
Starting point is 00:15:39 and watched a baseball game and they were you could hear on the broadcast like a routine pop out to the left and they're like like guys that's pretty routine but I'm not you're enjoying yourself I don't understand maybe you gotta appreciate them the Dutch just flooding the streets of Arlington was really cool too
Starting point is 00:15:54 and you see they brought the orange bus all the way over they did maybe yeah they put it on a freight liner that landed in Galveston and drove it up and that's pretty cool that's pretty cool I'm glad people are enjoying themselves here in the greatest country in the world that is where a guy was so jazzed the fact that you you had unlimited refills because in Europe you have to pay for each refills.
Starting point is 00:16:11 He's like, wait, what do you mean? I can get a free refill? And he's like, normally, you can't do that. And he was just losing his mind. It's great. Let's look at some of these social media posts from tourists visiting America for the first time. Tubing down the Shatton. Chattahoochee.
Starting point is 00:16:25 What? They met Alan Jackson, huh? Yeah. Waffle House. I mean, Waffle House is a 10 out of 10 experience when you've never gone. Because you really don't know what you're, you might get a heavyweight bout in there as well. Yeah, always fights at night And then they're
Starting point is 00:16:40 You know, their grits With just to slap on craft American cheese Pretty good That's gross A little German village Yeah Taco Bell It's the only land
Starting point is 00:16:52 What does actually don't make A&M Or make America look that good Yeah passing through Gainesville This place looks beautiful Is that Gainesville Florida? I would expect that's Gainesville floor Because I've never heard somebody use Gainesville, Texas
Starting point is 00:17:04 And Beautiful in the same sentence That would be go back to that one. Dude, Freddie is like, he's been tweaking a lot. Oh, he's gone viral, man. He's gone Uber popular through all this. Yeah, Freddie, man. Freddy from Germany. Steve, you're a well-known patriot. So to welcome our foreign friends to America, we decided to come up with our own list of things that we here at Dude Perfect think tourists need to see, do, or try while here in the USA. Do you have one off the top of your head? What's something a European visitor must. Well, you need to go see the Gulf Coast of Florida. You need to go see the Rocky Mountains
Starting point is 00:17:36 in Colorado. You need to go see Mount Rushmore, Niagara Falls, the Smithsonian Museum in Washington. Number one, no cheese for McDonald's. Well, I can have cheese, I'm not paying for it. So you're a big sightseer. Wait, wait, wait, hold on, Steve. You don't get cheese because you don't want to pay for it.
Starting point is 00:17:56 The kids never got cheese when we were grew up. It's not extra, is it? My whole life. You can get a hamburger cheaper than a cheeseburger. He said, you know that. Cheese is the biggest rip-off in America. He said it since it was in third grade. Yeah, now you say that.
Starting point is 00:18:10 It kind of is. Is it just because it's extra or do you not like cheese? No, I can eat cheese. Okay. He shouldn't eat cheese. Like I don't eat cheese. But I can do without it on a hamburger and be fine. That is wild to me though, that they don't make you pay for the mayo monster or ketchup.
Starting point is 00:18:24 When you have three kids and you're buying five hamburgers for the family, just back then. How do you, Steve, so you mentioned a lot of national, you know, like beauty for the U.S. How do you think U.S. in general stacks up in beauty for like, you know, Rocky Mountains and these things compared to other countries? I've got a story. No, I have. I've gone to Italy, and my wife has, if she was here, she'd tell you this story. Before kids went to like Washington and Arkansas every year, we'd drive to Hot Springs, have a pizza. This is three couples or four couples.
Starting point is 00:19:00 And then we'd go to like Wachita and rent a boat, carried our ski boat up there. spend a week, scan, and eating and it's undeveloped Lake Wachita. You're in then Wachita National Forest. And so there's no marinas, very few marinas, there's no houses, so you just have the lake to yourself. Well, we're in Italy in the Lavar Valley looking up over olive trees and orchards
Starting point is 00:19:21 and gorgeous mountains to my wife. And she goes, isn't this gorgeous? And I go, yeah, but it's not as pretty as Lake Wachita. I love that. So he's actually incredible, man. You are, you are a guy. You bleed. Red, wine, blue, and Peru.
Starting point is 00:19:37 These trips are always better that we go to after I get back, because while I'm there, you know, I feel like I'm cheating on America eating French fries in France and going to McDonald's over there. But we go see it all, but I get back. Oh, that one's fun, but we're too the same. You're a mini-s. Every time we go on an international trip,
Starting point is 00:19:53 it never fails. Chad's Harold at some point, it's like, I want to get up and move here. And I think the exact opposite, give me a week in Panama. And I'm like, I cannot wait to get back to Dallas, Texas, man. I cannot wait. It's so true. Well, I think all the young kids,
Starting point is 00:20:05 I thought I have to go to these countries that don't have it as good as here. They might. That's great. Come back with a little more appreciation. So, yeah, you think Rocky Mountain stack up against New Zealand. Yeah. Okay. That's an interesting take.
Starting point is 00:20:18 It's a take. I also think people don't realize who are foreign and even some Americans, just how big America is. Yeah, California alone is bigger than most countries. Yeah. Well, in Texas especially. All right. Something else. They need to go to Big Cedar Lodge also.
Starting point is 00:20:30 So we got. Especially if they're a golfer. That could be number three, Big Cedar Lodge. Yeah, we got national sites. as number one. We got just order yourself a no cheese hamburger. Not a McDonald's, that's national.
Starting point is 00:20:43 Go to a local brand. I don't even get a cheeseburger in and out and burger. I just get the hamburger. Yeah. Just go to In and Out. Or water burger. I would say your fourth would be go to a NASCAR race.
Starting point is 00:20:52 Hear the motor. Smell the oil. Exactly. The NASCAR race. That's a good one. That's America. Well, go to Dayton. If you get to pick where you're going,
Starting point is 00:21:00 go to the Daytona 5. It's a bucket list for foreigners, what you're saying. Yeah. Daytona 500. N-500, World Series game. Super Bowl.
Starting point is 00:21:11 Yeah, baseball. Texas A&M, college station game. Gotta go to Kyle Field, yeah. Kyle Field versus Texas. I think just a long road trip the Europeans need to take. You can take a seven-hour trip through Texas and still be in Texas.
Starting point is 00:21:24 You think they're frustrated when they come over here and have to abide by a speed limit? Or are they even driving? They're not driving. They may not be driving. What else? We got three, we got four left here. Those are all pretty good.
Starting point is 00:21:34 Baseball game. Texan M. You did say Rushmore. I think you got to go there. Endervin. Had to go there. Kind of not really near anything. It's not. What about like a really good amusement park? I don't know how they do amusement parks overseas, but like a good Disney or Six Flags. I mean, Disney World is better than, it's probably the best. It's a world over a land.
Starting point is 00:21:55 I don't know. California is a little bit better. You can survive a water park in America and the post chafe that comes with it. You can survive just about anything. True. Like a good Schlitterbond. And come back in the water. and go snow skiing. I'd put our mountains up against theirs. What about like a good tractor? See, I think the Europeans need to hop on a museum.
Starting point is 00:22:13 They have farming over there, dude. Yeah, but I've never seen. Have you ever seen the John Deere overseas? No, because they have Huskinvarnas, dude. My point. I would personally say you got to go see the White House. It's, you know. I've never seen the White House, man. I think you need to be on the list.
Starting point is 00:22:31 See all the monuments, the Lincoln Memorial. I've only been to D.C. once, man, and it was for tour, and we didn't really do it. anything. I think maybe some golf? And then, yeah, I do think... That was the purpose of Big Cedar Lodge. Yeah. Play those golf courses. More flyfish. You're staying at the lodge, but you're playing Paines Valley and the cliffs
Starting point is 00:22:47 and the top of the rock and the mountain top. And you're catching huge trout at Dogwood Canyon. Yeah, buddy. Last one I would say, I mean, I know it's just kind of like a south thing, but I think you got to go to Buckees. I think it's a national treasure. Oh, that's good. Buckees or... I do think it's a national treasure. The Chili's Triple Dipper. Yeah, it's a good list. I mean, I mean,
Starting point is 00:23:05 look, if there's Americans listening to this who've never done a lot of these, get to it. If you took out Disney World, that's a Steve Jones top 10 right there. He'd knock it out in the day. Well, we've been to Disney World, but I'm not one that goes every year and I know. Don't care to go back. Yeah, let's talk about our list here. Got sightseeing in at number one, no cheese, fast food, number two, golf at Big Cedar Lodge, number three, NASCAR race at four, a baseball game at five, Texas A&M game at six,
Starting point is 00:23:33 Disney World Water Park and visit the White House 7-8-9 and a Bucky slash Chili's to round out our top 10. You do that. You're pretty much, you have citizenship. You've been baptized. This is Father's Day in honor of my dad. I need to get rid of number two and move it down,
Starting point is 00:23:47 but move everything up and go to an NCAA track meet in Oregon. Outdoor track meet. Oh, an outdoor track meet. I need to be specific. It's an A&M football game. I didn't take this. My grandfather was a sprinter. Can you believe that?
Starting point is 00:24:01 He was a state champion in Seminole, Texas. Well, it didn't carry. Gordon Wood was his coach. Yeah, I can believe that. You may not know who that is. We definitely don't. Honestly, White House. I agree.
Starting point is 00:24:12 Feel free to use this as you, as you're making, you know, just the requirements to be, become a U.S. citizen. Kind of have to check them all off. Hey, shout out to my friend, Matt, who moved to the States when he was in third grade, officially got a citizenship, went through the whole process. I was proud of him. Has he done the top ten, though? He's from New Zealand.
Starting point is 00:24:30 No, he's done very little. He's not a citizen in my eyes. But he was gained citizenship. That's pretty cool. Big time. It's nice to be born in to it, isn't it? You take it for granted. You do.
Starting point is 00:24:40 Speaking of Father's Day, Steve, we're going to play a little, first of all, happy Father's Day. Oh, that's my dad's here. All right, now I'm getting it. I was like, we're bringing him in for sports talk. Y'all know growing up, Cody, was the producer of many movies. In fact, that pictures each. He and his two brothers. Producers?
Starting point is 00:25:01 Movies? Well, homemade movies. Did Batman? Lon Ranger. Didn't have the rights. And then we'd set up a living room and have friends come over and they'd put on a performance for us. I was kind of a jerk. You're a theater kid.
Starting point is 00:25:13 I was a, well, this is, after basketball practice in third grade, I was the, I was kind of a jerk director, Christian Bale style, like, Matt, you're Robin, do this, da-da-da-da. What are you doing? He's looking up some old videos, dude. There's, you, that's Cody is Zorro. Wow, we're gonna have to give these picks to Jared. Steve. Blasso's out. That's Connor.
Starting point is 00:25:36 That's good. We'll see these guys, don't you worry. It's not, I don't think the viewers are going to be shocked that Cody played dress-up as a kid. That's the nearest thing. I don't play dress-up. I was a basketball player.
Starting point is 00:25:48 You were like a little. 12 and 8 guy in that picture. I was. Anyway, I've got lots of goals. Well, Steve, we're going to ask you a really tough first question. Me and Cody will also, we're not going to answer it, but we know.
Starting point is 00:26:03 We know that there's favorite kids. Who's your favorite kid? You're from a family of three boys too. Yeah. Oh, yeah. You're the oldest, right? No, I'm the middle. Middle, that's right.
Starting point is 00:26:12 I'm the Chase Jones of the group. Oh, you never want to be a Chase Jones. I don't know, dude. I don't know, you know, because I think you might be Steve's favorite. We'll find out of here a minute. Well, your first of anything is always your favorite, but I'm proud of all three of them, so you can't just pick one. Well, yeah, they all have you.
Starting point is 00:26:29 You can't, but you need to. You did a lot of the first. Some of the first, you got married first, so we didn't have. any girls in the house. Allison's our first daughter. Yep. Our first granddaughter is Allison. Landry.
Starting point is 00:26:41 Landry, I'm sorry. So, he's been a blessing in his whole life. That's where it ended, though. Just Allison. I read for the kids. You did your job, Codes. They all grew up pretty, I mean, there's a lot of stories,
Starting point is 00:26:54 and I've learned some this week that I didn't even know about you. Oh, man. Chase said that you used to make them all. get between the houses between the wing walls and you had a BB gun or an airsoft gun and made them that was your arcade because back when I was you were going up we didn't have Buckeys or a R um you used to shoot your brother with a BB gun yeah I did it would pierce the it would pierce the skin it was a trauma I'd sit there and I would just pump it and they'd have to run and roll
Starting point is 00:27:22 and I would shoot and then if I hit them they're out and let me guess you never you never let go over there I'm the shooter yeah yeah yeah no he was the man that's the thing he kind of let everything But he did save a suburban of mine in like 1980. I'll probably save the suburban? Which, by the way, this guy does drive the same suburban that he's had since the 60s. I'm a bad customer for the dealers because I only buy one ever 10 years. How many miles are on yours?
Starting point is 00:27:51 Well, the one I just sold at $415,000. Wow. The one I've got now almost half a million miles. The one that got hit by the bear. That's crazy. And then I've got one now at 16 and that's 200,000. I've got a new Tahoe. But the story he was about to tell.
Starting point is 00:28:05 The story I'll tell you. Yeah, tell me. We were at the lake all day. My parents live up at Texanamo. The car is running in. My parents' driveway to keep it cool. Cody and Connor are in it. And I'm loading fishing gear and luggage.
Starting point is 00:28:18 And all of a sudden, Cody comes running in. The car is rolling. Connor had gotten in the front somehow and put it in reverse. And it's rolling down the driveway. Cody bells out and tells us it's rolling. Connor bells out, and it goes down a cul-de-sac. And I had run around. around the corner, chase it down the street.
Starting point is 00:28:35 It knocks down a street sign. And I get in it before it hits a house or a car or ends up in a creek. So he saved my, at the time, probably a $30,000. And my brother's lives. And they're, well, yeah. We're saving the suburban was more important. Yeah, yeah. He wasn't a 200,000 miles without the.
Starting point is 00:28:52 That was. One of your biggest feats there, Coach. Yeah, I peaked. Well, Steve, a couple of weeks ago, well, about a month ago, we had Cody's wife on for Mother's Day. I know. And she told a story about Cody, you know, with his two boys and Chase Jones boy on the back of some sea doze, you know, getting, taking him around the neighborhood. You guys grew up on the lake.
Starting point is 00:29:20 Did you ever let Cody in the boat as you were tugging it out of the water? With Allison when I saw this. He had a boat to pick with this. It made the list because he did. Immediately you got a list. When we would pull the boat out of the water, I didn't realize it was their favorite because I thought they were having fun out on the lake.
Starting point is 00:29:37 But they would stay in the boat when we'd go up, half a mile up, we're in a state park, 10 mile an hour speed limit, and go up and clean the boat. Well, they would ride in the boat. So this video is of Easton and camp on the C-Dos on the trailer. So I know he wasn't on the highway or going fast,
Starting point is 00:29:55 but I'm going to respect Allison if she doesn't want her son to be doing that. Cody, it's not my business, but he's not going to probably do it again. But I just didn't think that that was as dangerous as it looked. Fair. I like how you're towing the line there. It looked dangerous. When I knew that Allison was pretty adamant is when she said, my child.
Starting point is 00:30:16 Right. She used the word my child. She's thinking worse case. And we need moms thinking that way. Yeah. You know, we do. We do. I think it's good for the families when moms are being more conscientious.
Starting point is 00:30:27 They weren't going fast. As Cody was growing up, did you have this kind of, you know, obviously didn't think we, no dad thought we were going to be doing what we were doing today. Oh, no. What were your expectations for Cody? Growing up. Or just like, you know, maybe after college, you know, or like, hey, Cody. I mean, he went to work in the real estate business.
Starting point is 00:30:46 He became a student pastor to our church. Obviously, met y'all, and that was neat. And he thought it would might last a year or two. But for what y'all've done, it's been amazing. He's proud of it. Yeah. I mean, who wouldn't be? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:00 What are we doing for Father's Day, Steve? Any plants? Well, actually, my friend Russell and I are leaving Thursday to go do what's called a jet blast in noon in Georgia. So I'm got a kitchen pass from Jan to be able to go down there, weather permitting, and then I'll come back Sunday. We're flying. This guy flies, more jets. Four nights a week. Than anyone in the world.
Starting point is 00:31:25 Actually, when Steve was coming on to the pot, he sent me. a video of him and his buddies flying old Huey. He gets in some some questionable ones too. My dad is almost 70 and I've told him to his face
Starting point is 00:31:39 many of times is that you probably have five to ten years left based on the amount of flying you do in small planes. I love you and I always will. I love that you love what you do but I am saying goodbye every time I see you like that. I love you. Probably the last time. We've had two like prop planes go down in DFW
Starting point is 00:31:55 over the last year and every time you're like Yeah, there goes Steve, and I'm like, we know. Who? Who? But you do make that call every time. He got to lean into it. But what is, Steve, what do you think about Cody wing walking? That was the only video I watched that my hand sweated.
Starting point is 00:32:08 Yeah? Oh, yeah. I was worried. And especially, he's 6'6, and the person that normally stands up on that wing is like 5, 6. So how they stretched it out to even get him in there. And he called me and said, well, they've got somebody 13 that checks out this plane. I had a little kid. I made him give him the end number, looked it up, tried to figure out, okay, is this thing?
Starting point is 00:32:27 well maintained or not. I was proud of him for doing it. I couldn't believe that he crawled out of that and got up there and overcame all that. That was amazing. Before we play our game, I've got two questions. One, favorite dude perfect video types, and I forgot my second question, but go ahead and answer that first one, I'll remember. I've kind of thought about that too.
Starting point is 00:32:46 My first is what he did to get to go drive it indie. Yep. Because that took a lot of preparation. That was really cool. The quest idea. He all helped him, pushed him, and whether he made his, he made his good. I mean, he didn't finish last. And that was a fun weekend for us, one up there.
Starting point is 00:33:00 That was a big, proud moment for a parent. And props to codes who put the time in. Put him in my time. And my family and got that simulator, baby. The boys were kind of making fun of him as the race was going on. But given my background, given it's small in racing, but my dad was a passionate. As soon as he had like the infield grass early, late, I knew he had no traction on his tires. And he was racing that thing.
Starting point is 00:33:24 Yeah. He was racing that thing. And to spin out early in his crowd. from that because they had a wreck but he worked his way through and survived. It's your other video. Well, the favorite ones are like when you were blindfolded at Daniel Larkal to see him to make that. I mean, you didn't know you made it because you're blindfolded. He was just shocked as we were.
Starting point is 00:33:42 One of our favorite stories, though, is the boom shot at Rough Rider Stadium. You all right? It was two days. It was you and Jeff. And the second day, Jeff and I are out there cleaning everything up because it's going to be 11. You have it like for three hours. And at 11 o'clock, they've got to shut the lights off.
Starting point is 00:33:54 And Tyler has tried all day Being in the outfield with a T hitting the ball to the goal Behind second base And he's hit it Went to lunch Kept hitting it Okay, we got to go
Starting point is 00:34:06 It's almost 11 So Jeff and I start picking up all the stuff Because we're gonna get out of it We're kind of going slow to give him Okay, 10 more tries 10, 9, 8 On like the second before it was He made it
Starting point is 00:34:17 It was the most exciting I've seen Y'all do Throw the bat Anyway that boonstick was pretty impressive Boomstick lives in infamy is one of the toughest shots. And then some of these outdoor deals doing the snakes, that's not up my alley.
Starting point is 00:34:30 Not at my alley either, yeah. I'll avoid those ones. That was amazing. What about the Quest video in the NBA All-Star weekend? That was fun. That was good, but I think it was fun. It was fun, but unfair. You don't let another player that's still playing in China.
Starting point is 00:34:44 Get the playing that game. He's sure bitter. Yeah. He would have met his goal with the double-double. had taco followed up in there. I went to in and out. Well, I know, but that was something to eat. You would have got the double double in the sporting arena.
Starting point is 00:35:01 It was fun. That was a once-and-a-lif time deal. You got to get me out of here. Let's go. I'm over this. It's getting too mushy. Before we start our dad game, you've become an absolute,
Starting point is 00:35:12 just reoccurring gym on the stereotypes front. How much do you enjoy that? Oh, I love it. You just got too good at it, that you used your number call. I don't think I'm very good at it. More than it ends up on the editor's floor than in the video, but it's fun and I'm happy to do it. He'll leave after we film him doing something like the NCAA March Madness stereotype.
Starting point is 00:35:31 He's like just free going with it all and ad libbing and he'll finish the day and be like, call me on the way home. He's like, well, I'm really sorry. You aren't going to be able to use any of that. It'll get cut. I'm like, dude, that was exactly what we needed. It ends up being the best cut of just being raw Steve, being himself. And so he's always really hard on himself. He's like, I didn't say what you wanted me to say.
Starting point is 00:35:50 Like, Dad, you said exactly what I wanted you to say. It was even better. Well, I just know when stereotypes are on the film schedule, I'm going to get a little Steve, I'm going to get a little Baca, and I love both of them. Chase was disappointed, though, pre-NBA practice when he smoked you that that made the video. Oh, yeah, well, I smoked him right back, man. Yeah, I think Chase gave him the business a little too much to put that on film. He was giving him work.
Starting point is 00:36:14 He was giving him work. As you know, Gare, I put off a lot of things, cleaning the house, showering, sleeping, but one thing no one should put off is quality mental health support. They probably shouldn't put off those other things either, but let's focus on the mental health for now. A lot of people know what it feels like to put off getting mental health support. And it's not because they don't want help, it's because finding the right help can feel exhausting. That's right, G, maybe you've had an experience where a therapist didn't really get you, or it was just not the right fit. If that's the case,
Starting point is 00:36:49 Rula is here for you. Rula makes it easier to find quality mental health care that actually fits you. You can browse therapists based on specific needs and preferences. Starting point is 00:37:14 and they show your cost up front. So there are no surprise bills later. And you know, I cannot stand surprises unless it's a birthday party, hint hint, gear. And $15 is a small price to pay for quality mental health care. You can sign up in just a few minutes. And when you find the right provider on Rula, you can book appointments as soon as the next day. Rula can help you feel better with 93% of patients reporting symptom improvements. So if you're taking yourself out of therapy because you don't think you can get the care you need, then think again.

We're excited to introduce you to Body Armor Fit. This is the latest innovation for Body Armor as its first ever sparkling sport drink built for an always-on active lifestyle. All right, let's play a game.
Starting point is 00:39:13 We're going to ask you guys questions about each other and you need to try and match answers on your whiteboards. Pass these out? This is good. This is healthy. I think we're going to learn. This is healthy. Father's son relationship's going to learn a thing or two today.
Starting point is 00:39:26 This is good. Okay, first question is for Steve. Steve, what did Cody get into the biggest trouble for growing up? Okay. He's got it. I'm shocked Cody doesn't got it. He don't know this. He don't got it.
Starting point is 00:39:39 I mean, I'll know once he says it, but there's so many options you can go with here. I just felt like we dealt with this more as a young boy. I mean, later on. I know what mine would be. I put a cell, I don't even know how to spell this word. House thrown into the microwave. All right, I put smart aleck. I consistently got in trouble because.
Starting point is 00:39:56 of my tongue. I put that you just couldn't keep your hands off your classmates. Touching classmates. What are you doing? You were always. You didn't touch. You're being lying in just a mystery. Touching classmates' ears?
Starting point is 00:40:12 Or patting their back or, you know. Oh, dude. That was my brothers, and I would pinch their ears when they were little. Oh, okay. I didn't touch a classmate. Well, I thought it was a class thing. That's like, dude, I'm going to learn so much about Cody. This is going to go public, bro.
Starting point is 00:40:26 make up stuff. You're not alone in that, though. You're not alone in that home economic seventh grade. I gave Brianna Baker a slap on the cheat because I thought it was my boy, Travis. It's Brianna Baker. I got sent to the office for that one. I was like, I did mean to. Yeah, it was a drive-by. All right. Next question. Let's move on along. Next question. Cody, what's the most boomer thing? Steve has done recently. Boomer. I'm dude, wracking up 500K on the Suburban's pretty boom. It's pretty boomer, dude. That's pretty boom. I'll see this. Well, we talked about this weekend. I don't know if this is...
Starting point is 00:41:00 This is great. You didn't know what a boomer is. He's gonna write something about OU. They were giving me a hard time about this this weekend. This is classic, dude. I don't know what you wrote. I wrote that he's a hoarder. He has an airport hanger that my mom doesn't really check
Starting point is 00:41:16 or she's never seen it. So he puts everything in there. So apparently it's just like chock-full of just junk. That's just history, dude. That's treasure. man. That's history. He's a little league trophies. And it's going to you and he moves on. I know. When I'm going to look at it, we're just
Starting point is 00:41:32 going to get rid of it. Allison. That's going to be a good video one day. That's going to be a good video. Hey, Steve, don't you worry you. I'll make sure. Keep some of it. I'll make sure that they go there properly. Boomer. This is great. I write the mileage down every time I fill up the car. Milege and log in the car. He logs his mileage.
Starting point is 00:41:47 He made me do it as a kid and there was no reason. It doesn't even make sense. And that way, I write down the gas mileage. It's not efficient. anything if it drops down. The cost of gas per gallon? He's a crazy man. You still do that?
Starting point is 00:42:03 I still do that. He was an analytic department before there was an analytic department. And what's sad and true when I saw that suburban with 400,000 miles, I gave them my log books and they didn't want them. Of course they didn't. That's what I've been telling you for years. That's like a trekker thing, though. Why do you have a log book as a, like when you change the tires, I want to know when I bought, when I rotate the tires every 5,000 miles, when I change the trucker.
Starting point is 00:42:26 the oil, I've got a sticker for that, but the tires, keeping track of repairs, what does the gas do? If the gas mileage starts dropping off, Chase said, well, you wait until the engine line. Well, you can figure it out before that if it starts getting lost gas mileage. The shameless plug for Steve here, he's a banker. You guys need a good banker. Dude.
Starting point is 00:42:44 Don't you, Steve. This guy does not miss a detail. I hate details because of you. It's literally me. I don't check a receipt. I don't do anything money related. I'm like, Allison, handle all the first of you. checkbook, check your credit card statements,
Starting point is 00:42:58 because there's people out there trying to get into your accounts. Head of your time, really, Steve. You were Carfax before there was ever Carfax. Well, we can blame Cody's granddad and my dad for that. He grew up in the farm. He grew up in the Depression. And on a tractor, they logged out. You know, he didn't have a man, an hour meter,
Starting point is 00:43:14 but they wrote down stuff before changing them on the tractor or whatever. Fifth Generation Texan, Farmer. I love it, dude. Count your corner. That was a great answer. All right, Steve. What was the most expensive thing Cody destroyed as a kid? It's no price on your sanity, unfortunately.
Starting point is 00:43:32 Write it down. You got it down, Steve. He's got no filter. It's just going to come out. College? Goodness. College is good. Garrett, what are you reading?
Starting point is 00:43:43 Well, I got something out of college. I mean, complain for that. Yeah, that's expensive, I would say. Sub-question, what would have happened if Cody didn't go to A&M? Oh, he would be disowned. Well, he almost went and played basketball in Hendrix or Wachita Baptist or U-T-D. He would have gone and played basketball somewhere. Can you tell them that I got letters to play college basketball?
Starting point is 00:44:06 No, dude. He did. He sent the letters out. He did. No, he did. And I was glad that he chose. We went to visit these colleges and they wanted him to play. You were kind of disappointed that I didn't play basketball in college.
Starting point is 00:44:18 Not to get to see you, but I knew it would be a better experience for you. He went to Wachita, Steve. You're right by them from Wachita Mountains. That was going to be a... I know. Yeah, you could retire out there. Or even UTDs right around by... We live right by UTD.
Starting point is 00:44:32 That had been close. All right, Cody. What was the most expensive thing? I got a two-door high school hero Tahoe used, obviously, when I was 16. And two months into it, I was headed to a Wednesday night Bible study, had a fresh hot pocket out of the microwave. As I met, exiting my neighborhood onto 15th Street to take a left,
Starting point is 00:44:53 the car is turning right. so I think I'm safe. I pull out and there was a car in his blind spot doing 60. T-boned my truck. We thought it was totaled. Of course, Dad goes, they always just say it's totaled, but let's go check ourselves. We go to the trash pit where my truck is. We take off the tires, put on new tires, have a new estimate come out.
Starting point is 00:45:12 He says it's not totaled. It's actually going to be like two grand in damage. And so that was my number one thing, the T-boned Tahoe. Well, Steve, go ahead and flip it. It was actually. totally. Oh, that's total. Oh, that baby.
Starting point is 00:45:28 I said, no way. Look at us. So we got the insurance check and I bought it back from them. That's what you did. That is so Steve. It's crazy. That was also a boomer thing. Is that insurance fraud?
Starting point is 00:45:42 Did we just... No, it's a salvaged title. You have to use... You drove it and then Connor drove it. Oh, you know what the number one... We kept that car for a long time. The number one most worried the dudes have ever been for me.
Starting point is 00:45:54 is when I do my taxes with you. They always think that I'm doing tax fraud. No, no, no, no. You don't do them with Steve. You do them yourself. That's why we're worried about it. If you didn't do with Steve, we would trust you. Got it, got it, got it, got it.
Starting point is 00:46:05 Yeah, there was five years ago. You don't know. Yeah, Steve is even worried. He's like, wait, you know. That's a reasonable. Thanks for helping me. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Thanks a village.
Starting point is 00:46:16 Nice though, Cody. I have 16 years old Ford Explorer. Boom, tree, dirt road. That's not the big wreck? No, that was that, that, that, that, that, Yeah. We fall totaled cars on the seat. You took the second one I was.
Starting point is 00:46:28 Yeah, I fell asleep. I fell asleep, total my little civic. Do you ever total a car? I haven't. Man, I was going to say this is a total. Well, he would have, and I didn't save the suburban. Yeah, that would. He did hit a bear.
Starting point is 00:46:38 That would have been mine. Yeah, he would have lost a green record. Yeah, see, it's hard to total a car with you. You would have salvaged it. You would have done. I lost a boat off of a trailer on the trailer and boat off of the car one time, though. You didn't lock it? I don't know what happened.
Starting point is 00:46:52 It twisted. It was the boat. My parents. The last trip. My parents, they'd bought a new boat, and I had the old one and 16 foot, Evan route. Anyway, going to the lake. All of a sudden, we hit a bump, and this boat's passing me on the right. The boat just came off the trailer, and it goes to the left and hits and flips over.
Starting point is 00:47:11 Do you forget your safety chains? This is why Allison doesn't want the kids riding the C-Doos. I mean, I can totally understand it. I shouldn't be telling the world about that. Have you ever lost a trailer on the car? No, I haven't lost it because I have seen. safety chains. But no, but does it come off the hitch?
Starting point is 00:47:26 Oh, yeah, baby. Yeah, I've done the same thing to. You're doing enough. I've done the same thing, too, and just, I mean, luckily I had a steel bumper at the time, but, man, that was tough. Mine was, like, pulling out of the boat shed. It wasn't, like, on a highway. Mine was going from Scott Circle to my new house.
Starting point is 00:47:40 And you looked back in and just drilled you in the butt. I put the safety chains on, but didn't lock it, popped off, smoked my truck, dude. Didn't tell Kristen. Hopefully she doesn't listen to this. Oh, she's good. Let's see if we get the good time going here. Yeah, give it going. You just got one?
Starting point is 00:47:53 Let's see if we can get two in a row here. Cody, what is Steve's biggest pet peeve? Could it be your wife's infatuation with pets themselves? Did you ever get shocked when you go over to your son's house? Birds flying around? He's got the Frank Buck Zoo in there? I've never been a cat person, but they've got clean cats, I guess. Yeah, we just got some cats.
Starting point is 00:48:17 It's on yesterday. I'm just waiting for the day. I see one of the boys riding a hippo in the backyard. It's coming. I know it's coming. It is. Is this good? Yeah, this is good.
Starting point is 00:48:30 This is good. I got a good one. I don't know what he said. All right, Cody, what is Steve? It may not make the cut. Yeah. We'll see, though. We're going to go with it.
Starting point is 00:48:39 My dad's had season tickets for over 20 years to Texas A&M, 50-yard line, first deck, top row. Great seats. I love to get to the game one time, but I get there 30 minutes before kick. That frustrates Papa Steve because he wants to get there three hours early to watch a warm up, watch the band do their thing, and I'm like, dude, how it matters? You try to sit down on the halftime show, don't you?
Starting point is 00:49:03 After the main place? That's why we take two cars. So we take two cars, because I'm like, I'm going to get there a kick, you're going to get there at 9 a.m. for a nooner. That's not what Steve wrote, unfortunately. We didn't match. I'm sorry. I just have a problem with people that are anti-American.
Starting point is 00:49:19 Yeah, I get that. Amen to that. That's good. I don't even know what that means. Hey, look, you remember the video? You didn't even know that Lincoln was on the penny. We're doing the driver's stereotyping. I was asking when he last rotated his tires, do you ever check the tread using a penny? Because you all probably didn't do this.
Starting point is 00:49:40 I've heard this before. Lincoln's face is showing. Lincoln's head on a penny, as long as it's not to his top of his head, you've got enough tread and not worry about your cars. That is a great little. He goes, well, Lincoln's not on the penny. Tick-Tock hack right there.
Starting point is 00:49:54 I go, what America did you grow up in? Dad, that was a bit for stereotypes. I didn't know. He didn't know, dude. He didn't know. He can't keep up. Here we go. Next up.
Starting point is 00:50:06 All right. What was the biggest tantrum Cody threw as a kid, Steve? Probably that he could play dress up every day. Because she was home with you all the time. He's a banker man. He's gone until six. Surely you had coal for Christmas one year. There's no way you earn on the naughty list at least.
Starting point is 00:50:21 one of those years. I mean, honestly, this, congrats to Cody, if that was the biggest tantrum. I grew up. We were lake rats. We went to the lake every weekend. My parents lived near one, Texoma. I knew how to back down the trailer. I knew how to take the boat off the trailer. I knew how to drive the boat, all the things. Dad never
Starting point is 00:50:37 let me take the boat out without him there. And I would throw a fit about it. I'd be 17 years old and he's like, no, we're not taking the boat. You're not ready. You can drive a car, but you can't drive a boat. Is it still this way? Oh, 100%. Never driven a boat, his boat, his boat by himself. It's not about my own.
Starting point is 00:50:52 It's good decision, Steve. Well, his is a close second. I just felt like you threw fits when you didn't get seconds like for more hot pockets. Yeah, dude. Y'all... I have a whole childhood trauma situation
Starting point is 00:51:06 going where we would pull in a gas stations and we weren't even allowed to get snacks because we brought our own movie theaters. We'd sneak in candy because we didn't even buy the $5 emm-ed. He's a banker. He likes to save money. He's too frugal.
Starting point is 00:51:19 There is a limit. Well, and you're going to thank him when you get that inheritance. I guess. I will find out, I guess. When you're going through all the plane hanger. Horting. You're going to be like, man, thanks, Dad, for not buying me goldfish. Dude, did have $38 million.
Starting point is 00:51:32 That's crazy. Yeah, I don't miss buying raisins, I guess. Jeez, that's up. Cheese hats up. What's one thing Cody didn't do that you wanted him to? Got this. It would be a long list here. It is a long list, but there's one main one.
Starting point is 00:51:48 I think enlist is probably on the, uh, Probably on the docket. Get out there, baby. I don't know. I don't see Cody. I don't see Cody kicking down doors in foreign countries. I'll never forget when Plano was hosting all the colleges for like recruitment day. Just like as a regular kid, he went up to the Wake Forest booth.
Starting point is 00:52:06 They were preseason ranked eighth. And he asked the guy, do you guys have any basketball scholarships? I was like, Dad. They're like, I think we'll find you if we need one. I was like, dude, that's not how this works. You never know. It doesn't like my sophomore year. I'm like, it's like going to the Duke intern and saying, hey, Coach, Kay, got a spot.
Starting point is 00:52:25 Coach, what was one thing that you thought your dad wanted you to do that you didn't? It turned out great because dude perfect, but I think he always wanted me to play Division 2 college basketball. Okay. Steve, reveal yours. I'm going to give a half point on this. And all kids did this sleeping late on Saturday, but Jeff Webster always had practice at Binds when you were in high school. And Cody slept through it. You would pass up getting up to go work out with Lawrence and Joseph in them.
Starting point is 00:52:55 He's never been the guy. Which is the hard thing. Which kind of led to your point, Gary. Yeah. That's a fully. Because, you know, if Cody would have tried, he could have used that body type to be something. Could have been up. But I'll argue with you.
Starting point is 00:53:12 I was very proud you went to A&M. I was glad you. I think you made a good choice. Keek and Max. Playing in a green, angry and everything. Didn't the atmosphere, your brothers followed you? I mean, it was awesome. Well.
Starting point is 00:53:24 And then he wouldn't have met the guys as his roommates either. It's true. We, dude perfect would not. If you would have actually worked out in the morning. That's true. Dude perfect would not be here. Dude, I was tired. That's good selflessness.
Starting point is 00:53:35 Yeah, that's great. I'm going to choose to sleep. I was sleepy. We can make videos. You have a wherewithal. Steve, unfortunately, Cody won that game. You got a half point. Cody got the full point.
Starting point is 00:53:45 That's good. Yeah. Bart, you want to hit him with some announcements? Yeah, one. week until tour we're hitting the road next week with our most ambitious tour yet the squad games tour 22 cities all summer get your last minute tickets at dude perfect dot com slash tour before they sell out we'll see you on the road i'm leaving sunday uh you coming to the show i can't yeah i'd like to come to both dickies and american airline center great yeah great well uh give it up for steve yes
Starting point is 00:54:11 happy thursdays day uh enjoy uh enjoy the air enjoy the air with uh what's his name again Who do you go flying with? Russell. Russell. Enjoy the air with Russell. Make some memories. We'll see you later and we might not. You will.
Starting point is 00:54:28 Easy with the barrel rolls. Yeah, let's just keep in it. On the Father's Day. Let's just take it nice and easy over the lakes. We're going to take a quick break and then Tyler and Josh are joining us to take. Yeah. We're coming on because we're going to talk

Awesome, dude. You didn't bring any back, did you? You didn't bring your brother back? Not yet. What does that mean? There will be a... There will be... It's actually not going to be a python. It's going to be a boa.
Starting point is 00:59:01 You're getting a pet snake? Yeah, it's for the DPO fam. Every hundredth owl we get a new pet, so... That's kind of breaking news. That's breaking news, but that is going to be our next one as a python. I... I hate to tell you guys this, because I, you know, you guys forget sometimes I do own 20% of the actual main channel.
Starting point is 00:59:22 Yeah. You're gonna have to keep your pets elsewhere. Oh, they can't stay the office. We've got a nice aquarium set up over there. You can have two pets in our building. But dude, when y'all hit 50 million subscribers, I'm not having... Oh, dude, this is not for eternity.
Starting point is 00:59:40 This is only a million. That's what I was... No one told me that. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, you're fine. It's like how much productivity we're going to get done when we have a zoo here. It's a full-on zoo, yeah. We got a cabin of some of the game's swinging from the rafter.
Starting point is 00:59:52 We didn't talk about monkeys. I think that'd be sick. I don't think anybody knows that like we've been accumulating pets in the office, starting with fish. Well, right now there's just a fish tank. If you guys are on social media, you definitely know because they had a fish draft. Well, we haven't actually announced. Okay, so you guys on social media, we'll see that there's a fish draft that happened. You guys are so thorough with your breaking news.
Starting point is 01:00:15 I won't tell you who won the draft. It's like sitting next to chefty. Yeah, well, yeah, breaking news, man. They had a fish draft. I see what y'all are doing here, though. Y'all are getting two of every animal. It's been raining a lot. You've built an arc.
Starting point is 01:00:27 It's a good video idea. We built an arc. Yeah. That's kind of saying. People are asking for more bills. And they might have found the ark. So that's kind of cool news. But that was in 24, but now they're getting even more like down the road of...
Starting point is 01:00:43 Carbon dating. It's crazy, man. I think that's what it is. Hey, what happened to your brother? He got eaten by a python. Didn't make it back? Yeah. That's just...
Starting point is 01:00:51 You're going to watch the video to see, but it is... Yeah, Jared got eaten. He was going to have a good run in DPO too. All right. That happens. I mean, you're going to lose outdoor boys along the way. Before we jump into the Python video, I did kind of remark to y'all,
Starting point is 01:01:05 big boars over in Turkey. I'm just saying I could be a great B storyline. Yeah, I'll go out and you just want to be... Is that something you'd be interesting? You decide. You're the outdoor guy. I think it's the B story. It's a B story line.
Starting point is 01:01:16 It's the B story. The A story is our new hair. And I'll pay. for my own hair, but I love the company for the flight hotel. You go there for the hair, but then you're hunting wild boar? Yeah. Well, they hunt the boar. I get the hair. We might have to figure out the order that we do that in.
Starting point is 01:01:29 You hunt for a different type of, for a different type. Yeah, that's cool. Dude, I would do it with you. I mean, I could go for a completely new look. That's, I mean, that's the hope is that you would get, join me in it. Turkey, reach out to us. Hit us up with a sponsorship. What if I just did like a circle?
Starting point is 01:01:45 I just think it could be fun, dude. Like, I'm going to change it up. I would do some beard plugs. Yeah. I could do some beard plugs. I'm telling you. I'm in. I'm in.
Starting point is 01:01:54 I'm just going to bring it down just a hair, you know, buy me a couple more years. Then just fill in a little bit in the back. And then, dude, I mean, golly. Yours is a quick operation, dude. It's quit. You're hunting bore and getting your head down in one day. I think I could do both. Me is like a three-day procedure.
Starting point is 01:02:08 Well, you look, I just remember, guys, you look like you got out of war after the procedure. Yeah. It's true. Yeah, but everyone on the plane is. But you can blame it. They're there for the same reason. You can blame it on the wild boar, though. Oh, dude, I fought a wild boar.
Starting point is 01:02:19 Yeah, and he took all my hair. That's good. That's good. That's going to play well. Set us up, Turkey. Let's talk python, boys. Which to the Everglades? First and foremost, how are the Everglades?
Starting point is 01:02:30 That's South, South Florida? Like very South Florida. Yes. Swampy. Yes. Yeah. That's what I first noticed was the swamp. Yeah, it said millions of acres.
Starting point is 01:02:39 I didn't realize it was so big. Is that like national? It's a national park. Yeah. Okay. The largest wetland ecosystem in the U.S. In the U.S. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:02:48 Not in the world? though. Look at that. Sure it's up there. I don't know. Fluttered. Fluttered with pythons. We didn't talk about that at Texas A&M Wildlife Ecology. Well, the whole gist of the video was catching pythons, but we didn't jump in right away. No, we had to get acquainted. And how did you get acquainted?
Starting point is 01:03:05 Well, Python Cowboy is a guy that's been on YouTube catching these things for a while now. And basically, the whole principle behind this video is basically the Everglades has been completely overrun with invasive species, probably the most damaging being the python, the Burmese python. So apparently, a bunch of these people in Florida had pet pythons. It was really popular, I guess, in the 80s. Florida, man. Yeah, you have weird snake pets. Of course, these things get to 12 feet long, and everybody's like, I don't know what to do with this. And then they just go release them. Well, the Everglades happens to be a very great place if you're a python that gets released in the wild. to get a bunch of food.
Starting point is 01:03:49 And then apparently there was also like a big exotic animal building that I don't know if it was whatever. Hurricane came, wiped it out and then all these other snakes and iguanas and all these other invasive species got out. And now they've like completely decimated the native population.
Starting point is 01:04:06 I see. That's why now if you find a Burmese python, it is illegal to do anything other than basically kill it, then get it out of the ecosystem. So they want the They don't have a choice. They have to get them out. Because it endangers other wildlife.
Starting point is 01:04:24 They have no, hardly any deer raccoon. None of the native species that used to be there is thriving at all down there because they're all getting eaten. And now the alligators don't have anything to eat. They're getting eaten by python. By pythons. Destroying the ecosystem.
Starting point is 01:04:38 They said they've like maybe got 2% of the pythons that are out there. You can go down a rabbit hole. You can find on YouTube. like when these pythons are laying like their eggs and there's like 60 to 100 eggs at the time it's crazy like they're it they're just rapidly growing yeah so how did we feel going into this video because the word snake alone me you must as a little shiver down my spine there's one they did place a snake in here for the pod well that that's something we have had before is max who was
Starting point is 01:05:07 featured on the snake guy which you've got to be some kind of individual to be quote unquote the snake guy but he did in our second office lose one it took like a week yeah we know It was going to the back room comfortably during that time. The bucket of snakes on you is just, that was a dirty play. I don't know who suggested that. It wasn't a dirty play. Here's the thing that I knew going into this video. I did not get bit.
Starting point is 01:05:28 Here's the thing that I knew is that Josh could talk all the game that he wanted. But knowing his fear level of snakes, I knew if Jared and I didn't take drastic measures beforehand. To immerse him. There was no chance that this man was going to go to the Everglades. He choked out and grab a snake. I was. So I got to ask you,
Starting point is 01:05:48 they go straight for the jugular. When did this fear of snakes? Is this like a whole, this is your whole life type thing? Is it a bad experience that you may have had with a snake? Yeah, I think it's twofold. You know, we've mentioned the ranch
Starting point is 01:06:00 down South Texas before. And so growing up there, I was always told, like, rattlesnakes, like, stay away. Don't, you see them, like, run. So I think the rattlesnake fear, just like, I've never met a good snake. You know, from a young age,
Starting point is 01:06:14 it was like rattlesnakes are equal to all their snakes. and just like when you see him, run or kill them. And so like between the snake level and then like just rut tile like lizards, I don't know. Just at a young age, it's kind of creeping me out. Just you hold one or grab one and like... Are you crying in that video? Yeah, that was borderline tears there.
Starting point is 01:06:33 No, not borderline. That's full on tears. Actual tears. It got a little edited out, but there were real tears. Oh, so the edit helped you a little bit. I thought they were like putting your worst moments on. Believe or not the edit benefited him. The power of editing.
Starting point is 01:06:48 No one like snakes, dude. But look at this, dude. Willingly holding a snake for his outro. And that's what I'm up against. Ty and Jared are mania. It's like they're like thriving. They want to, like, I'm just, most people aren't snake people.
Starting point is 01:06:59 I'm not a snake guy. I'm not either. And Ty and Jared like, look. Why would humans trust snakes, dude? I mean, from the very beginning. Ah, no, forget. Yeah, they've had a bad reputation literally since day one. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:07:11 So, yeah, I'm not too fond of them. I, we had copperheads growing up. I had a couple encounters with them stepping on them, walking into the house growing up. Over at the laparts house. You have copyrights in your house? No, I mean, sometimes. He grew up in a... Whiteboro was a spot, dude.
Starting point is 01:07:28 Golly. My dad actually had one heck of a day, a career day. He went underneath our house for some wiring stuff and came out. He came out with holding them and I was like, man, that's... I'm glad I wasn't asked to help on that one. Wow. Pretty crazy. That's the top of the echelon, though, in terms of animal fears, I think for me. is in fact the snake, yeah.
Starting point is 01:07:48 Can they kill a gator? Oh, yeah. Yeah, they'll kill baby gators. I'm just glad snakes don't have like arms. Imagine if they had arms. Yeah. Would that make them better or worse? Better.
Starting point is 01:07:58 Well, you could say, you know, it's kind of a crocodile. Well, isn't it like a Gila monster? Isn't that kind of like a snake? A lotness with arms and legs? I'm not sure. Komodo dragon. Antichondas down in Brazil, pythons and Florida.
Starting point is 01:08:13 So do any of you guys have like the most scary? moment you've ever been with a snake or Josh did you have that before you went on this trip I was gonna say no when I was face to face with that python was probably the most scared I've ever been more than your snake coffin yeah just because it was I'm once I got it was wild 100% once I got into the coffin that's like the snakes were on me it was like they're these things are you got lucky dude they're trained out there trained actors but when that thing when you see that python striking at the dog yeah it is he's just trying to protect itself right you can't blame the python he's just doing what it is
Starting point is 01:08:45 You can be born, but you can't, dude. Don't be in this place you're not supposed to be. Yeah, well, it's a lesson for all people. Y'all did it all, though. Y'all went frog hunting. We did. Yeah, we wanted to get some of the, you know, some of the local culture of the swamp.
Starting point is 01:08:58 And there are a lot of swamp people out there. I'll tell you, there's no shortage of swamp people. How to taste? Honestly, frog legs are pretty good. Chicken? It tastes like chicken. Like tender chicken. It was hard to explain.
Starting point is 01:09:09 It's like a... They call them a delicacy. It's a little slimy. It's a little slimy. It's like a calomari meats chicken. Yeah. So it's like an oyster meat to chicken. Not as gooey, but
Starting point is 01:09:18 kind of. I was not a huge fan. Yeah, Josh was like, man, yeah, that's good. And he turns the camera off and he's like, that wasn't that good. You put some seasoning on them? Yeah, we seasoned them. Yeah, we flowered them up.
Starting point is 01:09:32 What did we season them with? I think he just threw like a, almost like a gospel rub on it. Some flour. Yeah, he did some uncle box. I mean, look, dude, Uncle Bucks is, it kind of makes anything taste. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:09:45 Yeah. You put enough seasoning on it. Yeah, it was good. The frogs were huge. They were decent size. You guys were trying to catch frogs in Gatorwater with pythons. Yeah. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 01:09:57 Yes. For sure. Yeah, when you say it that way, Garrett, it sounds daunting. Yeah. I'll tell you what. I would have left the frog. I'm not really, you know. It's like, oh, cool, dude.
Starting point is 01:10:06 You went underwater. I'm not getting you. Well, if snakes aren't the top of my power ranking of fear, very close after that would be the crocs. Yeah, I think Crocs would be. probably mine. They're just beasts, man. The death for all is pretty creepy.
Starting point is 01:10:18 I'm just a hippo. I fear the hippo. Well, I mean, luckily South Florida, you don't have to worry about the hippo too much. No, those things could just. I just look, I don't know. Hippos, I know they're aggressive and they're fast. And they just look so dumb.
Starting point is 01:10:33 They look pedible. From a distance, they look pedible. It's just like, what are you going to do, bro? It looks snuggable. Yeah, you don't want to mess with hippos. Yeah, see, you guys, you guys are worried about the wrong thing. And we're going to see some hippo. some hippos in September.
Starting point is 01:10:45 Oh, boy. Me and Sparky, we went on a crocodile adventure. I'm still mad about that. In Australia. Didn't even make the video and we risked our lives. No.
Starting point is 01:10:54 Didn't make the video. Did you all see a crock? Oh, we did. We saw a crock. We saw like, they were babies though. Not any big boys. They were big boys for babies. Nine pound, eight ounce type kids coming out.
Starting point is 01:11:04 Yeah. They were big. No, it's not kid ourselves. Yeah, they were C-section, for sure. C-section kiddos. Yeah. We went to Australia. Three-hour drive on that.
Starting point is 01:11:14 But that was when the Uber driver from Australia was like, y'all should really start a podcast. So he said from the last season. He was like, you know what? We might capitalize on that. So whoever that man was from Australia, shout out to him. Wow. Yeah, dude. So did you vomit out there?
Starting point is 01:11:31 Dude, thankfully we added it back in, but I didn't throw up. But I have a very sensitive stomach with like an intense gag reflex. Did you get him? Had to kill a fly. Sorry, guys. Dude, Python Cowboy grabs the snake from Cody. and start squeezing poop out of the thing. And I can't even describe you the smell.
Starting point is 01:11:48 From the frog? No. Snake poo. The snake poo. What makes snake poo so nasty? You don't eat snake, do you? You can. Is it like the toddler kind of?
Starting point is 01:11:56 The toddler crap? Dude, it's worse than that. Well, first of all, snakes smell horrible. Was that a python head? Yes. That's the one that almost killed him. Dude, those things are huge. You should watch the video.
Starting point is 01:12:09 Sorry, man. I don't know if you know this. I don't watch our videos. Yeah. Yeah. Then you have Sammy, the snake, Wrangler talk about how it was an iguana Was just gnawing on his pinky?
Starting point is 01:12:18 Yeah An iguana? Yeah, dude You got to worry about iguanas? Those are also invasive. Yeah, they're not supposed to be there. But it's kind of funny. What is this world coming to, man?
Starting point is 01:12:30 Because they're not supposed to be there when it gets cold in Florida. All the iguanas freeze in the trees and then they just fall out of the trees and hit the ground and it's just like it's hailed. But it's iguanas. But they're dead. They're dead. Yeah. They're like frozen.
Starting point is 01:12:42 man it's a wild place Florida Everglades man we didn't even got into the citizens of Florida That's kind of sad to be more crazy No wait until we get to that segment As a different world job I gotta put some respect on y'all I didn't know y'all were this deep in the trenches
Starting point is 01:12:55 I mean Miami fans just kind of sum it up In general they embody all this It makes sense It makes sense wow I don't think I'll ever go to the Everglades though You should, it was fun It was fun I'd go back I'll say the first night
Starting point is 01:13:08 We did because we also did some like gigging for Gar Algetter Gar It was one of the most fun nights I've had in a long time You couldn't tell through the camera I didn't see what you're having much fun at times I got to keep my mind off the snakes for a little bit So it was nice really cool to see man's best friend
Starting point is 01:13:23 Just doing dog like things Those dogs man absolutely dialed and they had What is that like an air track on them? They don't fear It's a little GPS tracker Quail dog like a bird dog They don't fear for their life No and it's insane
Starting point is 01:13:35 They get bit? They do they didn't get bit this trip Until you left I mean if you watch them They'll get right there And then as soon as that snake strikes, they pull, I mean, it's like watching Connor McGregor dodge a punch. Like, he knows exactly how far away he's got to be. And he's, I think Python Cowboys said in the video, but he said before he had dogs, he would go out there and do these same trips.
Starting point is 01:13:56 And I think he said he was lucky if he would catch one snake every four trips all day, walking around trying to find them. And we went out there with the dogs and caught five. Five. Five. And two hours? Yeah, probably four hours out there. What's his best day? Did he tell you?
Starting point is 01:14:11 I think they've caught like seven or eight in a day. But some of those are on nests. So you're technically getting like 60. And that's not making a dent. No, not even making a dent. Does this make you want to go home and train Boone? No, no. I like Boone Bucing the Python.
Starting point is 01:14:27 Yeah. Yeah, I ain't doing that. I ain't touching that. So when it came to conquering your fear, the moment of truth, grabbing the snake, looking back, are you shocked? You did it? You went through? I'm not shocked that I did it because I knew what would come.
Starting point is 01:14:44 If I didn't do it, if you don't grab the head, they will just like, you hit you buy your, and they just like. Yeah. And I fully intended going into the trip getting bit. And then when you like toss it out there and me and Jared are talking about it, I'm like, hey, I think I'm going to let this one like bite me. And the swamp people are like, uh, you don't want that snake to bite you. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:15:07 And I'm like, I think I just need to feel one. and, like, just kind of feel what it's like. Well, they have, like, serrated teeth. Yeah. Two rows, yeah. And they're like, you don't want to get bit by this snake. And they're like, maybe a smaller one, but that one, he was like, if he was like, you can.
Starting point is 01:15:23 He's like, if you want to do it, I'll let you. But he was like, there's a possibility that you get bit. And depending on where the teeth hit, you start bleeding and you bleed enough where we can't stop it. And then we have to call the trip. And we got to go back and go to the hospital. So it's not a poisonous issue. No.
Starting point is 01:15:38 Loss of blood. loss of blood. They're not venomous. They'll just bleed out the everglades. Python Cowboy almost lost his life to that 16 footer or 17 footer that he was showing us. He literally cut an artery. Couldn't stop it. And the blood was everywhere.
Starting point is 01:15:52 Wild. Like a 16 footer, like you're trying to get it by the head. Why don't you just shoot it? Well, no, I mean, obviously I wouldn't do that guy.
Starting point is 01:16:00 You would totally catch it by the head. You know, a little bit of an adventure. I love it, yeah. Yeah. That's a pressure pack moment to, go and grab it. Oh yeah. Because you only get one chance. Like if you swing and miss right there,
Starting point is 01:16:12 you're just asking. I don't even think I asked you. Did you feel like some of a drilling rush when you went to go grab yours? It's not in the video. I also caught a water moxen. Um, and that was, that's more of a rush for me. It was a tiny little water moxen, but that one is more of a rush for me than the pythons. Yeah. Because like that one, you make a mistake and it can kill you. The python is just like, it's kind of hurts. It's going to hurt and maybe lose your arm. Yeah. That's it. Worst case. Was the Cody invite one of those situations
Starting point is 01:16:42 where it's like... We were trying to kill him. What about it being around my neck? If one person's going to go down, I was hoping it wouldn't be out of this. He's the biggest, he's the slowest. No, Cody wanted to do that. When he started making the list of DPO videos,
Starting point is 01:16:57 I was showing Cody everything and he was like, dude, I want to go on that one. So I was like, sweet, let's do it. So it was fun. It was a good ad. Yeah, he seemed to be kind of in his own, in his own element. He had a snake in college.
Starting point is 01:17:07 remember that? I tried to avoid Cody in college. Still due to this day, actually. I think he did. I think he had a, I think he had a, Python, no, a boa. What do you do with snakes?
Starting point is 01:17:19 I've always wanted to know. He seemed like a vibe. What do you do with the pet snake? You just hold them and feed them and feed them. It's kind of fun to watch them feed. I don't get. I really can't get, I don't understand that one. It's not going to snuggle with you.
Starting point is 01:17:31 No, they will. They'll snuggle right up next to you, dude. They'll get as close as you want. How nerve-wracking is that when they give you the old turtleneck. Well, at first I didn't think it was bad. And they start, it's crazy. As soon as you catch them and you get them on you, immediately, they just start
Starting point is 01:17:46 wrapping around your neck. Like they don't mess with your legs, arms. They, you put them on your shoulder and it is just straight around your neck. And they would do it once. You're like, oh, wow, that's kind of tight. And then they would get another wrap around you. And then I don't remember who did it first if it was Cody or Luke or somebody, but Python Cowboy was like, do not let him get a third wrap.
Starting point is 01:18:07 Third one here in trouble. Around your neck, because it is extremely difficult to get them off of you at that point. Like, once they wrap around you three times, you can hardly get them off. And they will just literally choke you out. I mean, that's how they kill all the animals out there. It's crazy. It's crazy. Just suffocating them.
Starting point is 01:18:25 It sounds like a horrible way to go, man. Horrible, dude. There's not a worse way. I'm burning a lot. Probably pretty bad. Yeah, that and getting suffocated by snake. I think suffocating by snake actually pretty peaceful, TBH. I don't know where.
Starting point is 01:18:37 As it's peaceful, wow. No, it doesn't swallow you yet. It just chokes you out. It's like, you know, put your buddy in a sleeper hold
Starting point is 01:18:43 and let him go to sleep and then wake them up. Hey, wake up, you're good. Yeah, I don't know, man. Peaceful is not the word I would have had.
Starting point is 01:18:49 Okay. But now, fair. Well, someone's got to conquer to Everglades. Glad it was you guys. Someone's got to go to Turkey too. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:18:57 Well, you know what the whistle is. That's her two minute warning. You guys have a rant? Good. I have one. Okay. I got to say,
Starting point is 01:19:06 man, this, you know, just got done traveling. You know what really boils me up? Loading airplanes. They do it backwards. They do it backwards. Why are we loading first class for, like, why do you get? You have to walk through them.
Starting point is 01:19:22 It always slows it down because now the, you know, the bridge gets all slammed because the first people are loading. Then it's the next season. And then it's the very back. Start from the back. And it gives the first class people more time to go ahead. Hang out at your, you don't have to be there so early. Bored from the back of the plane.
Starting point is 01:19:41 So we're doing the groups backwards. Yeah, we're doing the group. And then, and then I got to say just because aviation in general is just, well, it's really one airline. I'm not going to name names, but everyone in the world knows exactly which airline I'm talking about. They are just horrible. Get on the plane last night.
Starting point is 01:20:00 Everything's perfect, dude. You're like, wow, this is crazy. I've never, this is everything, boarding's complete. Oh yeah, we would like to just come on and let you guys know that we don't have pilots. So anyways, we're going to have to de-board and we're going to go try to find. How do you load an entire plane without knowing that there's no pilot? How incompetent at your job do you have to be? Pretty incompetent.
Starting point is 01:20:28 That is wild to me. That's the craziest thing that ever happened. You know who you are. I'm not going to name the airline. They didn't even check. Anybody here, a pilot? that could fill in. Delayed three hours last night.
Starting point is 01:20:40 Hey, while on the plane topic, we had a little argument in New York that Ty wasn't there for, and I was wrong on this, and Kobe was wrong, because we rode just basic to New York. Basic.
Starting point is 01:20:50 Basic. Isn't that what you call it, right? Commercial? Economy? What are you talking about? You know what I was saying. Oh, man. Your privilege is showing smart.
Starting point is 01:20:59 Yeah, dude, we rode Basic. But Kobe went by the little first class curtain because the back bathrooms were so loaded and Cody ripped Kobe for that. I thought that was a clean play. I would never show my privilege by going into a first class if I'm sitting basic.
Starting point is 01:21:20 He did pull the curtain back too. I said basic yesterday, by the way. It was totally fine. You're a community pool guy. You're like me. It was totally wrong with that. Nothing wrong with it. That's a good rant.
Starting point is 01:21:32 Went back to the community pool, by the way. I didn't know if you wanted to talk about that. We'll get back to the community pool ran on next week's episode. Okay. But our time is up. Thanks for joining us, boys. I'm still scared of snakes. Never doing that.
Starting point is 01:21:46 Same, dude. But if you like this video, be sure to check out Dude Perfect Outdoors Log Cabin Behind the scenes video. Click here. We'll be back next Wednesday with an all new episode. Pound it. Noggin. See you.
Starting point is 01:21:58 Go catch a snake. Wave. Thank you.
