Do you guys ever encounter fans that are genuinely upset if y'all lose a baseball game?
I had a dad try to fight me one evening.
Fight anybody, honestly.
He was just really kind of rage monster, if you will.

We're your host.
I'm Spark.
I'm Garrett.
It's Garrett.
Boy, dude, we are grinding right now.
Yeah, we're in Francisco, Texas, right?
Yeah.
I don't even know where we are, dude.
You can't, you can't.
I don't know what day it is.
I don't know what city I'm in.
It is like we were getting two hours of sleep, maybe on the bus.
All the other boys are sleeping like it's the best sleep they've ever had in their life.
You made a good point.
You get home and you sleep so well.
That's where I was.
I was just like in a, I think my alarm went off nine times.
I was setting the modern record for snoozes in the morning.
Yeah.
And finally I was like, oh wait, they're up there today.
Yeah.
We typically film it on the road, but we thought we had the open final round and World Cup final.
final. We just thought, hey, we got to at least wait until those are over. Too juicy.
Not to talk about it. Hit the sports block. Yeah. So we came in, you know, it's a, I don't even know
what time it is, but it's early. But we're still on the road. We got two weekends left. Tickets are
still available. Dudeperfect.com slash tour. Come out and see us. We're in the Midwest this week,
and then on the East Coast, the week after. And our back to school merch just dropped, dudeperfect.
dot store. Go get geared up for back to school. And yes, if you want one of these almost
athlete shirts, well, you're going to have to keep waiting because they're only for me and
Sparks right now. But we're just trying out some merch for you guys. We're trying to figure out
what we like and then what other people like. And then we'll drop some. So we're preheating the
oven. We're preheating the oven. We're preheating the oven, dude. I like it, man. I'm going to get
you got to get me one of those. But what do we got today, Sparks? Yeah, coming up on today's
episode. We came in early in the morning, as you said, to talk a little sport because
there was some sport this weekend.
We have a new World Cup champion.
We're going to hit that from all angles.
Plus, we're going to chat with the Savannah Banana Great.
The longest tenured Bill Leroy, he's awesome.
But first, let's catch up on tour and share some exclusive footage for you guys.
Whoa, we have exclusive footage.
I love that.
We played the Savannah Bananas, a four-game set.
Yeah.
And the dudes were hot the first three days, man.
I mean, we were firing on all cylinders.
The dude's best game, go-kart soccer.
We actually dropped one during the,
took an L during our three game win.
But hey, we still got it done in Game 7.
But the last night, Dude Perfect's biggest show ever,
I think the lights hit us square in the face.
We got down 3-1 in that game.
Oh, yeah, I remember.
And I thought we were about to end in five there
in front of 13,000 people.
But boy, oh, boy, did we rally back to Game 7?
Lost a heartbreaker, but the boys deserved it from the bananas.
They played fantastic.
And those dudes are,
have ever met? Well-rounded individuals for sure. They can dance. Yeah, they can out-dance us for sure.
I don't know if they can kick a soccer ball, but they can dance. They do a lot of things well.
Dancing definitely one of them. But you're right, this group was so nice that we all caught
ourselves that final night, even in front of 14-chared for them a little bit. We took the L,
but it was all smiles, high-fives and hugs. Really good dudes. I was glad to see them get one.
What's the record now on tour? Nine and three, if my numbers are right? Yeah, yeah.
The Good Good and Insane Chain and Zach King Squad beat us twice.
We tied that two and two.
So yeah, we've lost three out of 12 shows, yeah.
I don't want to back end one city and invite them back out because that two-two series
deadlock.
Upcoming, we got another creators like squad got Insane Shane coming back.
We got Brody Smith.
We got That'll Work who won the Trickshot World Championship a couple years ago.
About that action.
Got Trickshot Queen coming out.
Genabandy.
Who am I missing?
Oh, Hewlett Brothers.
Mark Rober?
That's the following week.
So we got a good squad coming up in the Midwest.
And then that final week, we got Harlem Globetrotters coming back out and the creator squad with Mark Rober, Zach King, and St. Shane.
And I've noticed that early before we get into the weekend, you all have an extreme advantage by already kind of being familiarized with the games.
And we're taking it to people early.
But by the end of the weekend, they get pretty dialed in with the games.
And it gets pretty crazy.
I will say this.
You got any favorite shows that you, that stick out to you?
In terms of cities?
I mean.
Or just like, you know, like the epic battles or whatever.
Yeah.
I mean, Tennessee's going to be tough to top.
Both of them?
Both of them.
And Knoxville.
Yeah, Knoxville was our biggest show.
Sometimes the big crowds, you know, are, it's, they don't feel as loud.
Yeah, yeah, sure.
But man, the Knoxville crowd.
Routy bunch.
They were kids running around with tarps off.
And they were hot.
And that what a, what a basketball arena.
Yeah, they do it right.
I like these new state of the art stack jobs.
That's the way people need to go.
Because it was loud in there, man.
But boy, the Knoxville crowd just, I'd take my ears out.
It was so loud.
It was buzzing.
It was buzzing.
But hey, all the feedback has been awesome regarding the squad games tour.
I feel like the fans have really shown out.
They feed us life when we need it most.
We did have some sport.
We did.
It was a great weekend, dude.
Have a new World Cup winner.
So let's get into it.
this segment brought to you by Facebook find more than what you're looking for by the way my suggested
friends yesterday Garrett and Kristen Hilbert yeah we have you should probably friend it up yeah we should
we have a do we have a dual uh Facebook um yeah but even though it's dual there's definitely a ringleader
who's who's the who's the captain of that account uh oh yeah uh me Spain yeah whoa dude we have a winner
of the world cup and uh boy was it a tactical master class it was that's a proper way to put it
a tactical masterclass.
We have the stats in front of us here.
I mean, name a stat that Spain didn't just completely dominate.
They dominated, dude.
We got to go to the semifinal Spain versus France,
and they did the same thing versus France.
That backline for Spain is just so hard to break down.
I thought the backline for Argentina was also been very solid,
and they held their own.
And Martinez, man, what a guy.
That guy kept them in it from, I mean, he gave them life
and kept giving him life.
but I did want Spain to win
I did too
I just didn't want the repeat champion
Cody was really
wanting Argentina
Yeah for Messi to get his second
I don't think it really mattered
He already won one
He got to the final
When he was however old he is now
And how long can Argentina
Just survive by the hair
On their chin chin chin
You know
They were surviving by their coat tails
Barely eventually
They were going to run into something like this
So you credit the manager
In this situation?
Yeah dude
And he also came up through the system.
Coached like the U-19s, the U-20s.
And he won with all of them.
That's an advantage.
So that was pretty awesome.
Luis de la Fuente.
Yeah, being the oldest manager to win the World Cup.
14-0-1 is the team's manager.
That's pretty good.
Yeah, I mean, that guy is he's going to have a statue built in Spain, no doubt.
What do you think it means for Spain for winning this thing?
Or what does it mean to the world that Spain won?
It's kind of cool to me that Spain won because now,
The champion is going to be the host next World Cup.
Spain, Spain, Portugal, and Morocco are hosting the World Cup in 2030.
So that's kind of cool.
Maybe they can do like a big ceremony of, you know.
It is cool.
Do you want to go?
I know it's a long time ahead.
Oh, my gosh.
But I would love to go.
That one would be fun.
I would love to go to a couple games over there.
So yeah, McDonald's, if you're going to, you know, sponsor another one.
Hit your boy up, dude.
Yeah.
And I would eat nothing but McDonald's if you found a way.
there in 2030 the whole time we're there pending McDonald's is still a thing which i think definitely
will still be a thing 20 30 i would be shocked if not their brand has longevity how did your
prediction shake out that's a great question i look like um yeah i don't really want to talk about my
prediction we both had france beating spain and i had england beating argentina did you have and you
had england beating argentina yeah we were both we doubled down and we were both wrong uh but
we predicted the semifinal i mean the third place game yeah where do we stand on that we talked about
it in the dressing room. Third place game, is it
time for that thing to go? They clearly didn't
care about a third place game. I mean,
they just sent everyone 10 goals.
10 goal outburst.
I mean, if you're at that game, what a game to be at.
Sure. That's what like people who
aren't football or soccer fans, however you want to call it.
That's what they expect soccer to be.
Yeah, the 10 goal outburst. Yeah, that's fun, man.
We need more of that in the actual tournament.
And Mbapé got the golden boot and
the World Cup record, which I don't think anybody will pass.
So does Mbapé join the goat conversation with Rinaldo Messi?
I think he definitely has the opportunity.
Like over the next eight years, he could really submit himself.
I mean, of course, a lot of that's pending health, pending that France make it, make it.
You never know over there in UEFA.
You know, the Italians can't seem to even make the tournament.
It's just how does Real Madrid not win literally everything?
They have Jude and Mbapé.
Yeah.
And there's talks of Pops.
Possibly Olise going there too.
Feels unfair.
Dude, but yeah, I'm pretty sure
Barcelona took it last year, didn't they?
Yeah.
And plus, you've always brought it up.
The league they play in, too, doesn't provide too much.
A lot of people disagree with me on this,
but you know what?
I'm just going to go throw it to a guy who played in both,
and Michael Owen, actually.
So you guys don't have to agree with me.
You can bash me for saying La Liga is the lesser league.
How about a great who's played in both of them?
you can go bash him if you want
but he said the harder league
Premier League
yeah just it is the 20th team
in Premier League it's the depth
they could challenge for top 10 in
in La Liga it just it just is
now the top of La Liga
100% is arguably better
than EPL
but you're Brittenford away
when they're 15th on the table
is just hits a little different
yeah dude it's like what American
SEC football is versus the big 12
And the Big 12 will always be like, ours is just as good.
It's like, dude, no, week in and week out,
you guys are not grinding like the SEC schedule.
And it shows in the Champions League.
It shows in the Champions League.
And everyone's like, well, England should win,
and the England team should win the Champions League.
It's like, dude, they're beat down.
Their first and second team are beat down
because they also play in more competitive cups.
Right.
They could still be in the FA Cup deep in a run there.
Like when you got PSG and you got Dembele not even playing in like 50% of the games and he's fresh to go to Champions League semis and...
Of course that's going to make a difference.
It's going to make a difference, dude.
Your body, you're wearing tears a real thing.
Spain and France is as big of a rivalry as I think it is given the fact that they're neighboring European countries.
I feel like that's a pretty big bragging right.
Spain fans like dominated that game.
I don't know.
There was not a lot of France fans at that game.
I don't know. Are they a rival?
I think they are.
Yeah.
More than say Argentina.
But I think so.
I think that's, yeah, they got bragging rights over them for a while.
I don't know how Spain doesn't walk away with that World Cup next in four years.
Go around, yeah.
Dude, they're so scary.
They are set up to be really good for.
Like Argentina is losing a bunch of guys.
Now, France is going to be there, obviously.
France will.
And if they're, if they're on other ends of the bracket,
they're not going to meet in a semifinal
and hopefully they can meet for the final
in 2030.
It props to Spain too.
I thought the winner would definitely come
from that other side
which was definitely easier.
Sure.
Spain had their backs on the wall
from the minute it turned into the knockout round.
Are you kind of a little bit glad
that like Belgium kind of demolished USA
because dude what Spain would have done to the USA?
Yeah, it could have been some war crimes.
There could have been some war crimes there.
Oh my gosh, dude.
If Spain, if USA beats Belgium and they play Spain,
Yikes, dude. I don't know. I think Spain destroys the USA.
Yeah, if it was chess, they'd grab our king pretty quickly.
Like if Belgium's already beaten us 4-1, I don't know.
It's a bad joke. We don't, we don't score any versus Bain. I know that.
For how bad of a showing it was for the U.S. the way we bowed out,
can we take a second and recognize how solid of a tournament that was?
I literally don't know what I'm going to do with some of my life.
I've been just dependent on the World Cup being there for me during whether I'm tired,
emotional. She's been there to pick me up. And now all of a sudden, it's not there anymore,
Gare. Well, you got MLS starting this weekend. So is that like, is that what they're telling
us to do at this point? All these soccer crazed people here in the States. Well, you got
messy versus, uh, who was it? Chicago. I think it's Chicago. I got Wednesday. On Wednesday.
I highly doubt he's in that starting 11. No way he plays. That would be shocking.
What do you rate the tournament though as a whole? To me, it's my favorite tournament. I think
it beats March Madness. It's up there, man. Now,
The thing about March mountains is every year.
Every year.
I would love to have a World Cup every year.
But granted, I think that's where there's so much beauty in the World Cup
is that you do have to wait for it.
Every four years, you do have to qualify.
Makes it that much more big.
But this tournament alone, what would you rate it out of 10?
Because I had like a 9.8.
Oh, dude.
There was like maybe two dud games.
Yeah.
Like USA Belgium was one of them, unfortunately.
And that's the big winner here that we're forgetting to mention is America as the host.
100%.
From sea to shining sea, we showed out.
Oh, dude, the most attended World Cup,
maybe the most viewed World Cup,
because it got Americans in.
The world has always loved the World Cup,
other than America, I don't think.
But now because America hosted
and it put it on the world stage for America,
I think it, yeah, dude, it was successful.
And a great host at that.
The, you know, the foreigners love the Americans.
The Americans love the foreigners.
Yeah.
It's beautiful.
It's beautiful to see the world coming in there.
I wouldn't mind America hosting the World Cup every,
sorry, North America.
I thought Mexico and Canada also were great hosts.
Yeah, except for Jesse Marsh.
Not the best host, but other than him.
Yeah, no, seriously.
You know, I had strong opinions on Jesse Marsh,
but at the end of the day, you also kind of have to respect it.
Like, dude, he's a coach of Canada,
and he's fighting for his team.
Mm-hmm.
And Canada's always kind of...
Now, granted, is the American, yes,
so it was kind of like this weird, like,
but it's hard not to...
to dog a guy for like, you know, running through a brick wall for your guys.
Oh, sure.
Sure.
I respect that.
And it's got to be hard being the little bro.
Let's be honest.
Canada has always been kind of in the American shadow.
And then America is the little bro to the rest of the world.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Especially in soccer terms.
Yeah.
But overall, man, the tournament went pretty seamlessly.
There's great storylines.
And yeah, do I think American viewership will stay up for the next World Cup?
Absolutely.
I think there's investment there from the American.
Americans that will pay off down the line.
Now, granted, I think what we could have done within one more, two more wins,
maybe making a quarterfinal, could have done that much more.
But I think the damage was done in a good way.
I definitely think the American soccer fan has an itch for it.
Yeah, and I also just want to say, you're welcome to the rest of the world.
You know, we don't have to play those games at 2 p.m. for the semis.
And we did it for the world.
We did it for the world so y'all can view it.
Yeah, I'll soccer clap it.
I'll soccer clap the World Cup.
Now we're stuck with baseball for two weeks.
Football can't get here quick enough.
It is nice, though, on our apps.
We're getting, like I officially have the Cowboys' first preseason game on your apps.
You know, you're like your score centers and stuff.
So that's pretty cool to see.
That's how you know it's coming.
Yeah, we'll just touch on it real quick.
I have not spoken to Adam, our England boy who was on the pod since he lost that heartbreaker to Argentina.
That's what I was worried about.
Not so much that they got a limied because he was.
preparing that, you know, he's preparing for that.
It's the way it went down, man.
Took the lead.
They kind of did it to themselves.
They did.
Self-inflicted by sitting behind the ball.
That was too shul.
That was too shulging.
Over-management.
Over-managing.
That was kind of Ron Washington a little bit in 2011 for Rangers.
So, yeah, you got there.
You got it in this position by doing it one way.
It's a little too much drama.
Yeah.
Too many pitching changes when you don't need them.
Yeah.
We've got some more sports to talk about.
We're going to talk about the Open Championship
and LeBron's NBA future.
right after this.
The tour is going to be over in a few weeks, and then it's almost time for the kids to go back
to school.
I loved going back to school because of the shopping before high school and college, hoping
that mom would get me some kind of little gift.
Me too, whether it was a video game, music, or just something cool for the dorm room.
The start of a new school year is a major milestone in every student's journey is unique.
Apple gift card is the perfect solution for busy parents and family members because it fits
any budget and takes the guesswork out of gifting. Man, I would have loved to get that when I was in
high school or college. What would you have used it on? Definitely buying some music. I need music
for every activity. Studying music. Workout music. Running late to class music. Unfortunately,
you're not going back to school, but you can give it to a loved one. Whether they need new
AirPods to stay focused during study sessions, extra iCloud plus storage for their new school
projects, or an Apple music subscription to unwind after classes, Apple gift card gives them the
invaluable chance to choose the tools and entertainment that suit them best.
It is a personal and practical way to show your support for their next academic chapter.
This sounds like the perfect gift for every student in my life.
It also makes me want to go back to college.
Visit applegiftcard.apple.com to gift one today.
You watch any of the open? Any of the golf?
Dude, we, you were a warrior, by the way, for catching your early morning flight.
We had some plane problems getting out of Knoxville.
we landed me and the boys on the they were like on 15 the groups yeah the final group so yeah
I got to watch the very end of it how did you feel about it I didn't love like the setup of like
burning the course out and uh just making it incredibly firm but it is lynx style golf uh but like
yes Sam burns had another Sunday to forget but how are you going to penalize a guy
for going into the par 5 17 he
down one stroke and he hits
the most beautiful drive of all time
and it's so burned out
that it rolls and rolls and rolls
and it hits center fairway and then goes into the
the crudiest lie
I don't know I just was like dude that is
we're going to sit here and talk about
you know did Bryson DeShambeo cheat
well every other golfer
cheat I mean knocking your putter down
there's so much there's so many like improving your lie
There is.
And that's where I love Scotty Sheffler, where he's like, I mean, dude, it's not cheating.
Every golfer does it.
Wyndham Clark did it.
I mean, Scotty Sheffler has, Scotty Sheffler got a ruling on the 17th that was like,
how are you going to get?
It's a lost ball, dude.
You got to take a penalty.
Right.
They're picking and choosing.
They're picking and choosing.
There's a lot of gray area regarding all that.
But I just felt bad.
Yes, Burns could have played better.
But man, dude, if he would have had, he would still have hit that second shot.
but man, he got hosed on that
hitting a perfect drive and then landing.
There's not a worse feeling of golf
when you hit a perfect drive.
And it's like, how did I end up here?
Sure.
That's golf.
That's the dark side of golf.
What a performance by Ryan Fox.
I mean, those last six holes were.
Yeah, Sunday surge, man.
And he's doing it for the 39-year-olds out there,
which I appreciate, man.
Which with all due respect to Ryan Fox,
he's like the most 50-year-old looking 39-year-old of all time.
I don't know if it's the way he carries himself or what.
But I would guess he's 50 years old.
dude, that's how you play the game of golf, quick.
He's not walking around the hole a million times.
The camera couldn't even catch up to him.
They didn't have time to like, dude, he was like getting up there putting.
Love that about Ryan Fox.
Well, especially when you golf with the twins multiple days in a row.
And if people don't like Ryan Fox and they were like, man, what a boring winner.
But then you also complain about golf being too slow, hip crit, dude.
Yeah, very hypocritical.
Because he's a, he plays fast golf, which I, you look.
love to see it. You do love to see it. We need Corey and Kobe to watch their rounds.
We need the other pros to watch it. Yeah, totally. Totally. I think that's where golf could benefit.
We could, do we really need to play five hour rounds? Six hours. Six hours.
That's a lot. It was awesome. And in the video that came out today of him like putting the claret jug
in the, in the, uh, he was sitting like middle economy. Did you see this? No, but I love it.
He had to take both the replica and the reel, like the Louis Vuitton case,
and he's sticking it in the luggage container on like 17B.
Wow.
Can we not get the guy a first-class ticket?
First-classer?
At least he's not throwing it under the plane.
Yeah, he at least carried it on.
He carried it on.
And it might have been a little too big, but they still allowed it.
What would you do with the claret jug if you want it?
Oh, I would put it by my pillow, dude.
I'd sleep with it for a little bit.
I'd have it sitting next to me on the couch watching baseball with me.
I would definitely drink my morning coffee out of it.
No question.
Yeah.
Every morning just a, you know, Claire drug coffee for at least a week.
What a power move that would be.
Man, what stones to knock down that last putt, though?
Beautiful.
He thought he missed it.
Oh, I did too.
Oh, he, no, he did too.
He was not walking that putt in.
He looked, he was like, he kind of was like, ah, man, missed it.
And then it was like, dude.
You know, a sudden it went in.
Yeah, a little space jam magnet.
That was awesome.
It was awesome.
I would have liked to see a playoff, just because I needed a little bit of extra time
because I think it ended right around like noon
and then World Cup didn't kick off.
Yeah, you were trying to bridge that gap a little bit.
But it's okay.
You know, it's always heartbreaking
is you see the pure jubilee of the guy winning it,
but then they throw it to the camera on the range.
And Cam Young's just like...
And Cam Young's just heartbroken sitting there.
And he didn't even need to see it.
All he did was hear the crowd pop.
And he was like, okay, I guess that's it.
Back it up.
So it's over, just golf playoffs now.
It does football season.
That's what I'm saying.
Like it is, it's
Let's wait three weeks and then we won't even care
Sure
We're going to be locked and loaded
For fantasy and college football
Training camp
It's all it's coming dude
We just got it we just got three weeks
We got also probably got about three weeks
Until LeBron picks his next team
It's kind of getting annoying
Is it?
Yeah
Just pick a team dude
Lebron's drawing it out on purpose
Did his agent just lie to us
Is it really down to two teams
Is that what he's saying now
Or three teams?
It wasn't it three teams
I think it's down to three
My name is Peter Parker
But I'm also
Spider-Man
This July
We're faced with a threat
That can be anyone
The world may have forgotten Peter Parker
I'm just a neighbor
Friendly neighbor
But he hasn't forgotten them
Sometimes Spider-Man has to do the hard thing
That's my responsibility
Talk to Banner
I didn't know you could get that big
Spider-Man
Brand New Day
In theaters July 31st
So it's like
Why don't you just pick a team dude
I don't know. Or just retire.
I mean, it's his life.
He can do what he wants.
It's just like it feels like the decision all over again.
It does.
It does.
And he's 41 years old.
Once you do the decision once, it doesn't hold as much weight now.
How about we do a start bench cut?
Okay.
LeBron's Miami Championships team.
LeBron Cleveland's championship team and LeBron's Laker championship team.
Okay.
I feel like this is an easy.
You're going to start the Cleveland championship team.
Correct.
Down 3.1.
beating those invincible warriors.
Yeah, that was like, what, the 73 win warriors, too?
Hadn't lost three games in a row all season.
Yeah, dude, that was crazy.
You're gonna bench Miami,
and you're gonna cut the bubble.
Sure. Yeah, yeah. I think you have to.
Yeah. But I have heard some counter arguments
regarding the bubble title because a lot of people say there's an asterisk.
There's not an asterisk, there's not an asterisk.
I just think the Miami championship teams were,
they beat you know they that was one they beat the spurs right yeah yeah yeah the ray allen three ball
got him a surcial uh laker bubble who they played Miami heat that was the one where the heat caught
fire as a lower seeded team with jimmy b he was feeling himself see that's what I'm saying I just think
and it was in front of nobody in the bubble you didn't have the the crowds there some may argue that's
even harder because like some some players feed off the crowd which when you're just playing a pickup
game for a championship.
Yeah, I've actually heard the argument that that was the most pure ring you could say that.
Because there's no outside distractions.
There's no families.
There's no travel, nothing.
Just pure hoop.
So I don't take that title away from them, but, and it's still weird to me.
I don't envision LeBron as a Laker.
I think that's part of it too.
I think as a cab first.
And then Miami Heat and then a Laker after that.
Is there ever so much something as like too many teams?
he's approaching his what fourth team now for LeBron there is but I don't think for like just a regular guy
for like but for a great yeah I think when you start donning too many jerseys then all
a sudden it gets washed a little bit it gets murky well again what we always talk about about
Michael Jordan what we always say I'm mad he should have hung it up before the wizards yeah
and to me it's like this next team I think we're going to think that about LeBron what's the old
soccer saying leave the game before the game leaves you yeah yeah don't don't get me wrong
I think LeBron is better right now than what Jordan was when he went to the Wizards.
He can still contribute for sure.
He really needs to win a title.
But then it's like, are we just saying LeBron's the greatest because he won four titles and four different teams?
Is that the goal here for LeBron?
Do you think that's what he's trying to do?
I think that's what he's trying to do.
I think he's ultimately going to put winning a championship at the top of the priority.
At four different.
Which I don't know if there's ever been a person who's won for NBA championship.
Surely not.
Has there ever been...
And four different teams?
Somebody win four different NBA titles
with four different teams?
I would guess no.
No player.
It's won four different with four different teams.
So there you go.
So that there's the first.
He'd be the first to do so.
If that's the case,
winning a title is the main priority,
where do you think he should go?
Philly.
Yeah, I completely agree.
I think from a basketball standpoint,
giving him the best chance to climb that NBA map again.
Like, you can't go to New York.
No.
Because I think what you said about New York
is kind of accurate.
I think they're kind of like the 2011 Mavs a little bit
where it's like they caught fire.
But that team going into 12,
like I don't know if they were favored, were they?
Mavs?
Are they favored in 12?
No, definitely not.
Mavs actually blew up some of that roster.
They didn't even move.
I don't think New York Knicks will be favored next year.
I don't think they're favored in their own conference.
That's what I'm saying.
So I don't think you go New York.
Yeah.
That would also just be a really tough look for LeBron
fresh off them winning a title.
That would be kind of like KD Warrior-ish.
I mean, the only place I would go to like maybe guarantee it
would be OKC or.
or Spurs or San Antonio.
But again, you're the backlash
that comes with that.
Probably not worth it for Braun.
I think Philly's the perfect spot.
I do.
You will have to get through
one of the OKC or the Spurs,
which are going to be so...
That will also...
That will be the Western Conference Finals next year.
Again.
Again, probably.
The Spurs and OKC...
They're so good, dude.
But yeah, dude.
What a sports week?
What a just a week in general?
A really good week.
And now we just got midweek baseball.
Yeah.
Hey, squad games.
If you're looking for a little sports fix before a training camp opens up.
Yeah, come on to see a tour show, dude.
You don't know what you're going to see.
You might see Zach King rip the hearts out of the dudes.
You may see the dudes beat the bananas in seven.
You really do not know.
I bet some candy with your parents.
Yeah, it's like, hey, if the dudes win in six, buy me a box of.
Yeah.
If the boys take quarterback chaos, we're getting popcorn in a panda medallion.
It's a fun time.
It has been fun.
I think the fact that we quite literally don't know what's going to happen on any given night
has been super fun.
Like us going back to the locker room the other night down 3-1, backs against the wall.
After we dominated, well, not, I didn't.
I actually played pretty bad that QB challenge.
But the boys went three for three on the carousel.
Yeah, that's what was crazy.
It was probably the most impressive quarterback chaos.
Game one starter we've ever had, and then all of a sudden, boom, boom, boom.
And then we almost, we almost 2016, cut cavdom.
Yeah.
Man, we almost did it.
It would have been storybook stuff, but Coach Rack and the boys had other plans.
But shout out to the bananas, quite literally the, maybe the most impressive group of individuals we've ever worked with.
Yeah, also, I encourage you guys to, if y'all've never been to a banana game, go check them out.
It's a ton of fun.
It's kind of like a squad game's tour.
It is like just packed for two hours.
Like there's no stoppage.
It's entertainment for two hours.
And also, dude, they're not like faking these games.
They're out there to win.
They're out there to win
And they're not in first place right now.
Yeah, that's what's cool too.
Just like the squad game store.
This isn't like bananas win every championship.
No, dude, they're in second place.
They're battling the tailgators.
There's competition.
There's competition.
On top of competition.
You all should go check them out if you have it.
Get on the 10 million person wait list out there.
Which is just insane.
Insane.
The empire they've built.
It's crazy.
Give them props, though.
Yeah, I think going to bananas game is like scrolling reels for two hours.
But you don't even, you're not.
even scrolling real. You're just there in real life. Yeah, you're just getting constant entertainment.
Ooh, that's fun. Yeah, what do we got next? Next up, we were in Memphis on Friday and sat down
with one of our tour opponents. Bill Leroy, the great Bill, the catcher from the Savannah
Bananas. That's coming up right after this.
This episode is brought to you by booking.com.
This squad game's tour has been a blast and it keeps on going. Seeing all these different cities has been
great. But you know what I'm going to need when this is over? A chiropractor. Yes, but also a vacation.
I need a relaxing trip. Maybe I'll take a family to the desert and Scottsdale for hiking,
relaxation, or maybe some golf. I hear you, Garrett. We stopped in Charleston and I would have loved
to spend more time there. The restaurants and golf are great. And they have some of the best fishing
in the world. I would love to have taken advantage of that. Luckily for us, we have a couple weeks off
after tour to go wherever we want. And even wherever we decide to go, it's easy to find and book the right
stay with booking.com. From beach hotels to vacation homes that can fit your whole family,
booking.com has it all. In fact, the only thing it doesn't have is a bus that you share with
Tyler and Cody. And thank goodness for that. I'm going to get on booking.com and book a great
stay right now. It will give me something to look forward to while I'm listening to Cody Snore
tonight. I'm right there with you, Garrett, except not actually with you because I think we could have
used a break from each other too. Go on. Book that trip. It's easy. Booking.com. Booking. Yeah.

Today's guest plays for the only baseball team where a backflip can be just as important as a
base hit. He's one of the most recognizable performers in a new movement that's
redefining what baseball and live entertainment can be. Fresh off our most recent all-sports,
golf squad games battle here at TPC South Wins, please welcome the number one catcher
for the Savannah Bananas, the man behind the mask. Bill, Leroy. Come on, Bill. Let's go, man.
I mean, what an intro, dude. How does it feel? Thank you, man. That was just so kind and
felt genuine. I wrote that myself. Did you know that? Well, was everything accurate in it?
I mean, I think so.
I can't do a backflip.
I can do a split, but I mean...
Have you ever tried a backflip?
I have.
I landed flat on my face on seashells at the beach.
I was saying, that's what happened to rack.
Yeah.
The whole world didn't see it, but my friend group did,
and I'm not sure which one was worse, honestly.
I had one trampoline.
Feet went through the springs.
Haunted me for life.
Never did another backflip on track.
I used to do it as a kid and now I'm just scared.
You ever a backflip?
And no, I'm too scared.
Front flip, but a front flip.
Interesting.
How many banana split jokes have you gotten?
Quite a few.
Yeah, they got to be out there.
I was going to hold it.
Well, we just got off the course.
We played a little all sports golf.
What did you think about it?
It was really fun.
I mean, I don't want to spoil anything.
Yeah, we can't.
No spoilers here.
I won, I won.
I'll say I'm not.
It was fun, but it didn't last too long.
I'll say that.
It was short and sweet.
Yeah.
Dude, you know, it's one of those videos that, you know,
every guy watches it.
Girl watches it and it's like, I could do that.
And then when you get into the moment, when the camera's on,
and you have a soccer ball at your feet with water staring you in the face,
something's a little bit different.
Just saying.
Totally.
It's not as easy as it looks.
With trash talk going on.
And like when the courses are really nice, like it was a shout-out TPC Southwinds.
Yeah.
Beautiful course.
When it's really nice, I kind of feel bad watching y'all play and hitting ground balls in the greens and stuff.
I'm like, I think it's kind of crazy that we have, you know,
know, like TPC and Augusta National, letting us do this.
But hey, hat tip to you guys.
We appreciate it.
Yeah.
The sun was the enemy today.
Yeah.
You look great glazed.
I'll say that.
You like a donut right now.
Yeah, that's my favorite type of donut is the glazed donut.
You went guns out.
I did.
Yeah, I have a little tattoo right here.
If you can't see it, it's a shamrock.
Well, me, that's sick, dude.
Me and Sparky, is that the only tattoo?
That's the only one.
Me and Sparky did say for 100 episodes of almost.
We're probably putting the A right there as well.
Did you want to do it? I'm dead serious.
I'm 100% doing it.
I'm doing it. You're going bicep?
Well no, I don't know where I'm going to do it but that's kind of nice.
Yeah, we can go top of the head.
I'll do an A on my other arm.
I've got to ask, what is the Shamrock symbolized?
You Irish?
So great question, thanks for asking.
So my grandfather that we've talked about a couple of times.
Invented kicking.
You invented kicking.
No way.
Yeah, which is hilarious.
He was my kicking coach.
He was a kicking coach for many people.
Many people throughout Dublin.
He,
who's the field that he coached for
at Dublin High School
was called the Shamrock Bowl.
And so he coached there.
He's a legend there.
Known around town.
Talk many people how to kick.
My uncle's me.
All had a kick.
And so, yeah, he sent hundreds of kids
off to college to kick.
And so me and all the 18 grandkids
whenever he passed away,
we got a shamrocking on our head.
I don't know if even people know this.
So we do squad games.
And we did a YouTube video.
And we played the Savannah
banana second opponent we ever played
and
you know we get
sponsors we get sponsors for our videos
and that was an all-state sponsor
that video and
we were like dude
no one can kick field goals that we play
we'll just do a field goal
challenge into the old state net
so we play
the first game it's three point competition
we actually y'all did way better than that
than I thought we squeaked by that one
and we're like all right dude
We're about to go up too well, dude.
I think it wouldn't dodge ball next.
We let one slip away, but it was like, it's okay.
We did dodge ball.
There's no chance they can kick.
We got field goal in the bag.
Yep.
We pick field goal.
We're going field goal kicks.
Oh, you messed up.
Bill was a high school all-reaching kicker.
Give me the screech.
And we're like in the car.
And Bill's like,
you do know my
my granddad invented kicking.
I'm like, yeah, okay.
That funny joke there, dude.
He's like, no, no, but I like kicked and stuff, you know, so I'm like really good.
I'm like, he's like, yeah, actually, look at my high school recruiting tape.
Bombing from 50.
Bro.
I literally was like, at that moment, I was like, we're cooked.
For me, it was the moment he went barefoot, Billy.
As soon as he took the shoe off, nobody who takes a shoe off in the kicking game, you know, is not competent.
I was like, oh, man, we are in trouble.
Yeah, and so it was in our squad games tour on tour, we do a little field goal.
So that's fun.
Get to rematch with old Bill.
here kicking some field goals.
There's nothing better in kicking a field goal, dude.
I love it.
Nothing better.
That's a high pressure job, though, if you make it to the top.
I don't know if I want that gig.
That's tough, man.
It's high pressure, but there's nothing that scratches an itch.
Dude, it's just like, it's like pure and a seven iron, dude.
It is.
It is.
It's a nice, dude.
It's a great correlation.
It's like just pure and a seven, and you're like, dude, I could kind of love this.
Kind of low this.
Yeah, blowing for a strike.
Now, you were Allstate?
All region, maybe.
I'm not sure.
I wasn't an all-state kicker.
I was an all-region kicker, I believe, is the term.
And grew up in Georgia.
Grew up in Georgia, middle Georgia, yeah.
It kicked lots of field goals there, played multiple sports.
Okay.
Went off to college, played at UNG, University of North Georgia,
played baseball there.
I actually went to a kicking camp at Georgia Southern,
and this is a great story.
This is kind of when I chose baseball instead of football.
So I go there as a big camp, 250-plus kickers there.
I finish top three.
Wow.
I come back.
I get to kick with their snappers and punters and holders
and holders and holders.
nine yards, they bring everybody out.
And the kickers at the time
at Georgia Southern were
Young Way Koo and Tyler Bass.
No way. Both in the same squad.
And I was like, whoa.
And we're doing kickoffs, and it was just like, embarrassing
to kick after them.
It was literally like...
Yeah. I mean, they...
It was kind of like the charity kick.
I don't know how Georgia Southern managed to wrangle
both of those guys on the squad at the same time.
But those dudes were on...
I mean, both in the NFL.
Yeah.
I mean, just insane.
Do you think if you would have stuck with it
You're in the league?
I love to kick
So maybe maybe my college career would have panned out
I would love to I always say I would love to go back and play golf
And I would love to go back and kick
And see like how my career just panned out you know
But instead dude
To his baseball
Now I'm in banana ball for year nine
So longest tenured banana player
Oh is that true?
We're looking at him
That boy man
How many how many years we rocking now?
Nine years man yep
So I played four summers from the
The bananas were a college summer team, and this is my fifth year playing professionally with the banana ball stuff we do around the country.
How cool has it been to see just the meteoric rise?
That is because, like, this fan and bananas weren't on the scene for me, I'd say, until about seven, eight years ago.
And all of a sudden, it was, it went from here to here in a hurry.
For sure.
How cool was that?
It's been really cool to watch.
I mean, when 2020 hit, that's when TikTok blew up and we just grew, we grew on all platforms.
And, I mean, I've been there from the get-go from 10 full-time workers to now, like, almost 800,
full-time workers. And so, me and my buddy Kyle, who's also the longest tenure, we should
make cold calls, and we've repainted locker rooms and built lockers and the whole, and recruited
players, did it all the whole nine yards. When it comes to, like, the choreographed dances,
is that something you had to learn? Did that come natural, too? I feel like I've always kind of had
just like a good vibe, a little motion, just a little motion, but now we have, we have a guy
named Macyo, who is our dancing first base coach, professional dancer. He's insane. The dude is,
He was on America's Got Talent.
Like he can, the dude can dance,
he can do any kind of dance,
he can teach you how to dance.
He's just like, he's really cool.
Instead of hiring guys like intern Jackson,
we hire like dancing coaches,
things that make us better.
Yeah, it's like salsa.
That would be fun.
Yeah.
But instead we're hiring guys like intern Jackson.
Yeah.
You guys can preach into the choir here, man.
You guys could have some six celebrations lined up,
choreographed celebrations,
post wins, post live shows,
post, I mean,
post all sports golf, like, you know what I mean?
Yeah, well, you've hung around us enough.
Is that a missing ingredient for dude perfect right now?
Is that a little swag factors?
We get up there in age.
Because how old are you?
I'm 28.
28 years old.
Okay, yeah, see, I'm 35.
Gares what?
39.
Yeah, 39.
Today's twins both celebrating their 39th.
I think that could bring our number down.
It could.
Oh, for sure, dude.
I think so.
After you hit like a sick shot to hit them with a little like MJ kick?
That's what I'm saying. Yeah.
A sit-a-o-roma.
Yeah.
Man, until your Achilles gets blown doing it and then he's like, you know.
Who's the best dancer on the team?
Who, besides Macyo, he's by far the best.
We got some guys that can dance.
I like to say Noah Niznick is like, first of all, you and him could be brothers, twins, actually.
From like a personality standpoint or just all of the above.
All of the above.
He's a good looking guy.
The coolness factor, the swag factor, the charm.
I like it.
And it's every time the church.
you wear a backwards hat, especially when you're in slides, it's just like, that's him.
Wow. I'll take that as a compliment.
It's a great comedy. You kind of have a little sparky to you, too. I see that you're wearing
thermals in a hundred degree weather. Yeah, I mean, it was, I mean.
That's a sparky move if I've ever seen it. I was double-layered two days ago, 90-degree weather.
Yeah, one of my favorite quotes is like, that's the price you pay to look cool. You know what
mean? That's in, so. You're willing to go there. Yeah, I am.
Yeah, dude.
Sparky gets it. You wouldn't get it.
No, no, no, absolutely not.
So, dude, it's been a whirlwind of a week.
We've been doing our squad games tour.
It's been absolutely awesome.
The fans have been absolutely electric.
Two-part question one, what's something that you found out about us
since coming on the tour that you didn't know,
and what's something that you expected
that maybe didn't come to fruition or, you know, kind of us.
Okay, let me think a little bit.
Do we learn anything new about us in the last week?
I think Cody's a fraud.
of soccer.
Yeah, for sure.
I've learned that you guys have this extreme belief in yourself.
I'll put it that way in go-kart soccer and that you cast all your unbeatable.
You guys are strong.
You guys are strong.
I don't get to perform.
Either do I.
It's the other guys.
So, okay, we'll say Cody specifically.
Yeah, there it is.
There is.
We came to us last night and said, the gap between you and I is so wide that it's not worth
theorizing a plan to beat us.
That was a quote of his mouth.
And what happened last night?
We spanged them two to one.
For the first time on tour,
we lost to card soccer.
That was humbling.
Yeah.
And that game, by the way,
is the most fun game
in the whole world.
I mean, it's just so, so fun.
It's super fun.
They should have, like,
leagues of that.
I agree.
They should have leagues.
I mean, I feel like Jesse is a guy
who would probably take
and run with that idea.
It would be cool.
Yeah, he's sitting on that.
It's one of those.
We debate almost sports.
And sure, put it in the category.
But man, if we're making spike ball a sport,
make Rocket League soccer, go-car soccer a sport.
Better watch, better play.
Yeah, totally.
More inclusive.
Now, granted, there's been some bumps and bruises.
Cody took a little shin.
You're willing to go there, though.
Sheen splints last night, front bumper.
And as the games have progressed squad game store,
we've been willing to push the limit a little more and more.
The collisions are getting a little bigger and bigger.
But yeah, man, it's been a grind.
You sleeping well in the tour bus?
Yeah, that's a-gare-on.
one thing I said I didn't really know that like how the how the travel would be and I've never
been on a tour bus before so this is something that's new for me and I've really enjoyed it it's just
like you and your boys get to hang out and vibe with each other we call it marinating we marinate with
one another just hang out decompress get to talk about the day talk about life talk about how cool of an
opportunity this is you know get to know each other and and yeah just we've never been on a tour bus
we just kind of feel like rock stars right now traveling from city to city and put on a show and hang out
They're stuck with DJ Mikel too.
Yeah, which is.
Which he needs to bring out the PlayStation.
He told us night one we're going to bring out the PlayStation.
We haven't done it yet.
Yeah, Big Delicious is full of false promises.
You got to watch out for him.
We love him to death, though.
I'll tell you what.
He takes up a lot of space, too.
That's a big old boy.
Yeah, I mean, it makes one of us.
Me and Garrett are like notorious horrible sleepers.
And I love it.
The pros heavily outweigh the cons when it comes to Tor.
That's not one of them for me, man.
Anytime we hit a rumble strips or something, it's like,
I'm coming home, Lord.
I'm coming home, man.
Every single time.
So I want to go back to banana ball for a little bit.
So what, in college, you play catcher?
A little bit of both, or kind of three different positions.
My freshman year and sophomore year, I d-hed.
Okay.
And then my junior year, I call every pitch.
The catcher that was above me, my guy, Andres, if you're watching this,
love you, bro.
It's my guy.
He got hurt, so I call every pitch my junior year.
And then my senior year, he got healthy again, but COVID hit.
So I played second base for eight games,
Call eight games because he ended up getting hurt again.
And then my fifth year, I played every game at second base,
and he caught every game.
So kind of bounced around.
But then every summer for the bananas, I caught.
Do you like catching?
Love it.
It is my, I think it's the coolest position of any sport of all the time.
It's the only position in any sport that plays out of bounds.
Wow.
I never thought about that.
Yeah, you're not in fair territory, are you?
Yeah.
Isn't that interesting?
How do your knees feel, though?
Because I know catching, I think a lot of people who don't play baseball growing up
don't realize the foul tips off the mass, the constant squatting.
Do you feel like your knees are a little older than your 27-year-old self?
It's a lot.
And at times I can feel some knee pain coming on.
I will say the new technique of catching that I have now.
With the light on the ground.
With one knee down, it helps tremendously.
And so I have a guy that helps me all the time.
His name is Ange.
He has a catcher made simple on TikTok and social media.
Me and him are good buddies.
He's taught me so much about catching and technique.
And I've learned a lot from him over the last couple of years.
And so honestly, I felt going to help pro-life.
my career, honestly. Any catchers out there? Yadda Lize growing up that you try to mimic?
Yachty, man. I was not always, Yadi is the goat. He's the dude. His little snap throws
in first, no-lookers. He's got it. The swag, the confidence. He just, it looks cool. I mean, he's just
got it. Checks a lot of boxes. So a multi-sport guy, safe to say that baseball was your best,
but what were the other sports other you said golf, did any basketball? Yeah, I mean,
growing up, I played them all, man. Football, baseball, basketball, golf, soccer, I mean, play a little
tennis. I mean, just kind of anything, honestly. But, but.
But I feel like football and baseball were probably the two that I was best out.
You and Ty were teammates today in our All Sports Golf Battle.
You've really linked with the outdoor stuff.
What kind of outdoor activities you enjoy doing?
I love to fish and I love to hunt.
Anything in the outdoors, I started my own little page called Outdoor Bills.
Very similar to Dupervy Outdoors, just not the scale that Dube Perfect Outdoors is on.
But I feel like me and Ty have a lot of similar interests,
and we've talked about that the last couple times we got to join you guys.
which is super cool.
But yeah,
I love to fish,
man.
Basically,
I'm using banana ball
as a chance to fish
in every city
that we go to around the country.
It's like us with golfing.
It's a glorified golf tour
with the show every night in between.
Yeah,
I knew you were an outdoor guy
when you correctly name these flowers.
Do we fact check out?
What did you say these words?
Hydro's a hydrantia,
right?
Yeah,
I knew that too.
I,
dude,
I'm at the age
where it's like
watching birds
and looking at flowers
is like,
it's kind of like
what you do.
My old man thing is watching.
watching the storms come in, man.
Yeah, I could sit outside.
Just be like, wow, man, that's a good old thunderstorm.
See, both those things, I think I'm starting at an early age.
Yeah, so see, dude, you're going to be well-versed.
Yeah.
When you get to my age and be like, dude, that's, you're not only going to know,
you're going to know, like what species of hydrange of that is, you know?
It's like, so yeah, dude, you're well on your way.
I'm proud of you, you're in deep.
You're in deep.
Well, we're called almost athletes.
You kind of hinted at it like, hey, I knew I wasn't going to be a kicker because I went to this.
Do you have an almost athlete moment where in any other sport where you
you're just like, yeah, dude, I'm not cut out for this.
Wow.
Okay, I feel like I have quite a few to choose from.
Okay, I'll give all of them quickly.
I have three in my head right now.
So one, one time I was at Georgia Southern, yet again,
had a baseball camp this time.
Bases are loaded.
I'm 14 years old and I'm playing 18 U.
They asked me to play up and catch because they needed to catch her.
I was like, I'll do it.
It'll make me better, you know.
I'm catching Will Lohman on the mound,
who's throwing absolute fuzz.
And there's nobody out.
There's nobody out.
This dude's, he's four or five years older than me.
He's throwing fuzz.
He's got three pitch, four pits mix.
And we get the guy, oh two at the plate, spikes the curveball.
Well, I mean, just block it up like I just knew what I was doing at 14 years old.
But the first bases occupied, all the bases are occupied.
You know, dropped third strike in my head.
I picked the ball up thinking I got to throw it first.
I mean, just a rookie mistake.
Touch home.
And just, nobody's out.
So I don't have to do anything.
Yeah.
You know, nobody can advance.
Nobody can advance.
Throw it first, just sail it over the first basin's head all the way down to the
right field corner.
There's so many scouts in the seats.
All three runs come home.
And I was just like, I didn't even have to throw the ball.
After you ate it too.
I mean, just like blocked the ball.
Oh, no.
Sail over first place his head all the way down on the right foot corner three runs score.
I mean, I literally wish I could be invisible.
Just standing behind the plate guys who just coming home, scouts in the stands.
That's one.
that's one two
and one of the summers
in Savannah we had a huge
we had this big rain
with
thunderstorm come in midgame
tarps on the field
I was like I'm gonna tarp slide
in front of the whole crowd
and I get out there in right field
I'm shrugging along
shrugging along
full just dive head first into the tarp
all my
I'm already shirtless but
underwear my shorts
everything I got down of the ankles
sold out crowd 5,000 people in Savannah
just full moon out there.
Just cheeking.
And there during the tarps slide, yeah.
Yeah.
I've never shared this one at Summer Camp Canacuck.
Garrett's familiar with in Branson, Missouri.
We were tubing.
And at that age, in middle school, man,
you're trying to put it on a show, you know,
and I was kind of falling off the tube.
And I had one of those moments
when my swim trunks caught the water,
ripped it off, but I continued to hold on.
You know, I was like, do I let go?
So I was just cheeking on the tube.
And finally I let go.
It was an embarrassing moment, for sure, for sure.
Celebrity-wise, you've gotten to work with quite a bit.
any particular celebrity that stuck out as your favorite?
Ooh.
The bro hug you and Ty had, that embrace was a little much
because I was like, hang on, that's my boy too, you know?
Yeah.
Y'all, you know, we're hitting it off today.
That's my guy.
I mean, obviously, we have a lot of chemistry early in our friendship.
Still getting to know him.
Love that guy.
But, man, we've got to play with a lot of cool people.
John Cena gave us a really cool speech.
And I forgot where we were at, where we were playing.
I think it was in Tampa, Florida, actually.
Yeah, it was in Tampa.
We had no idea who the celebrity guest was going to be.
they're like hey you guys all coming here like we could tell something was up and next thing
you know John Cena bust through the door and he's just like my step as big as my head
and everybody's just freaking out we got one guy crying if I got still this is just a massive
John Cena fan kind of emotional I'm cool with it I'm cool with it emotional when he saw him
and he gave was a phenomenal speech I mean very cool guy 50 cent 50 cent came out there
game he threw a pitch and he was just like he had the biggest bodyguard
ever seen in my life. The dude was like
four humans in one.
I mean, unreal the size of that guy.
And 50, I mean, 50 is cool, man.
I respect that too, because doesn't 50
have one of the worst, like, opening pitches
of all time? Yeah, we had to really
talk him in to, like, throwing a pitch
again. He was super nervous about it, you could tell.
But he, like, he threw one in there that was like,
it was a little bit off to the right, but it made it to me
and I caught it, and the crowd cheered. Not as fuzzy.
Yeah. I've never heard that before.
You're throwing fuzz. I like that. I got
implement that. You're going to put that in a repubon.
was all right yeah uh dream hunt with tyler tony hypothetically you got to pick the hunt pick the
location or fishing what do you choosing oh man there's a couple things i've always wanted to do me and my
dad have talked about it growing up i've always wanted to shoot a boat or shoot an elk with a bow in
colorado that's always been on the bucket list um but also like to shoot a moose and uh alaska i think
yeah oh yeah so both those things are on my bucket list you're about to go to alaska yeah flyfish
though ooh that's that that was by far my favorite fishing trip of all time i've
never, I've only fly fished in like Dogwood Canyon where it's kind of like, it's not really
fly fishing. So I'm like pumped out of mine. Taking my, taking my middle kid, father, son.
That's cool. Yeah, I'm going to be blessed. Yeah, we went to, uh, in the Kenai River,
we fish there and, uh, fly fish, middle of the salmon run, catching just giant salmon. It's so
fun. Salmon run, dude. It's so fun, man. We're doing it, dude. Bring some back. I can't remember,
Bill. Married kids? Uh, fiancee, getting married next year.
March, 2027.
How hard is that to plan around with your busy schedule?
Very.
It was stressful for a while.
But then we remember we're off on Easter weekend.
And so we're always off Easter weekend.
And Lexi always wanted to have a spring wedding.
And so we're just like, you know what?
This just makes sense.
We were kind of stressing about it,
prayed about it.
And all of a sudden it was like, ding, light bulb went off.
I was like, you know what?
We can have it that weekend.
Just do it on Friday.
It means a lot to us.
And we're all off.
And a lot of guys that are playing that would have to miss a game.
They don't have to miss a game.
They can come to that weekend.
That's beautiful, man.
End up working out all right.
You'd make a pretty good executive assistant, man.
Yeah.
Logistically.
That's just thinking.
That's just thinking ahead.
I'm not a great planner, though.
I'll say that.
It sounds like you are, dude.
I'm pretty type B.
I'll say that.
It sounds like you are.
I just got lucky with this one.
We're kind of dealing with this at tour.
You know, do you guys ever encounter fans that are genuinely upset if y'all lose a baseball game?
Who?
I'll say this, and this is going to be in my story, too.
I had a dad try to fight me on one evening.
Fight anybody, honestly.
He was just really kind of rage monster, if you will.
Just kind of losing it.
So I play this game.
I host my own show before the game.
We have sold out crowd in the stadium.
It's about an hour before game time.
I'm on the mic.
I introduce myself, which is another story within itself.
So I'm like, myself, Billeroy.
We can go over that story a different time.
So I intro myself, and then I play this game around the whole stadium called
banana in the pants. And I've got bananas at the top of the stadium.
You throw them down and you catch them in the stadium. Yep. And there's two guys on the
field. They're wearing these big pants and they're, I'm playing against Tanner a lot of
the times just competing back and forth to see you can catch the most bananas in the pants
thrown from the top of the stadium. And so I'm making my way around, make my way around
and we hit this little part where we let a kid throw and then we do like a little trick shot
for two points, different things like that. Spice it up. Well, I'm trying to do a trick play.
We're in Charlotte at the football stadium. There's 75,000 people. And, and, and, and, and, you know,
And I've got my leg up on the rail, and I'm like, heads up, kids.
You know, I'm about to sling this banana between my legs for two points all the way down there.
Well, I go to throw it, and it like clips the rail.
And it just like slows it down a little, not all the way, but just enough not to make it to the field.
And so this thing's falling at, I mean, just a fat, I mean, gravity is doing its thing, you know.
And it's a pretty steep drop.
And since I throw it, I'm like, oh, no, heads up.
And it's just like, this banana just mushes.
right on top of this little girl's head.
I mean, just,
big impact, explode, banana goes everywhere.
This girl's probably eight or ten years old.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
You know, just not a good,
I mean, I'm sure it didn't feel great.
It happens.
It happens, you know?
And I didn't know that even happened,
but everybody around there,
there's a video, a TikTok,
a woman sitting right behind her,
not even filming, knowing what she's filming,
just gets a perfect shot of the banana
just mushing this girl's head.
It's hilarious.
Not funny, but funny.
And afterwards, I come down
and, like, the entertainment people
were looking at him, they're just like, just shaking their head looking at me like this.
And I'm like, what? That's on you, dude. That's on you.
I didn't even know what happened yet. I'm just like, what? Why are you the guys looking
to me like that? And they're like, there's a dad in the corner over there that's trying
to make his way under the field and security's got him literally held up like this because
he's trying to come fight you. You've written his little girl in the head. I'm just like,
oh my gosh. And so I was like, can I go say sorry? And they're like, let's get the guy
out of there. They had to take the guy out of the tunnel and I got to talk to a little girl
and like gave her a necklace or something like that. And she was totally fine. She was totally
fine. She was like kind of like a little teary odd
but I got to give her a hug and she was like completely
over it at that point because she got to come down on the field.
Totally. But this guy, Rage Monster, man.
He wanted a piece of me for sure.
Yeah, we haven't had that.
Like, I know we've had two fans get shot in the face with arrows.
Oh, yeah, you have archery tag.
Which is like those are sandpapered and like, man, it's dangerous.
And you know, I haven't had a fan.
Maybe we have and I just don't even know about it.
Yeah.
But yeah. No, we've disappointed some fans for sure.
when losing.
The chair drop comes to mind.
Yeah,
we have a chair drop story
that's all time, bro.
All time.
We just didn't read the scene right on that one.
We do this thing,
get crafty,
and it was like,
build a chair.
And the thing was,
the rules were simple.
Like build whatever,
we're going to drop it off.
We're going to drop it off.
It's part of the judging.
And if it survives,
it survives.
That's part of the judging.
Well, dude, this guy
sends in,
the most immaculate chair.
Perfectly crafted.
I mean, it is a beautiful chair.
So we took it up to the melody naturally.
But he really wanted to be entered into the competition.
And so I said on camera, you got to drop it.
You know, if you want to be in it,
you can't judge it by it looks.
You got to judge it by its integrity.
I mean, this thing shattered into a million pieces, dude.
In the backlash we got from this, dude,
I mean, it was us against the world
because it was like, I can't believe you would ruin this guy.
I mean, this guy probably spent.
Oh, days, weeks.
Weeks on this chair.
And again, I feel, I felt horrible,
but he literally said he wanted to be,
so we had to make this huge apolly video, dude.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, man, dude.
The chair drama, dude.
You never know what you're going to get.
Yeah, that's crazy.
Well, quick, by having it on my mind.
I remember a dad wanting to scrap one time,
and it's the night I quit officiate in basketball,
middle school basketball,
in Valley View, Texas.
Like a 2A school.
Wow.
Seventh grade girls basketball.
I could see the play in my mind still.
What a perfectly called.
This girl goes up for a jump shot.
Girl blocks her in,
like goes through the basketball down to the floor.
So I'm, you know, jump ball, jump ball.
And I hear you're going to get somebody killed out there.
Followed me out to the parking lot, man.
And that night hopped into a blue Mustang driving back to Denton, Texas.
I said, I'll never do this again in my life.
That was the last night I ever officiated.
Wow.
Yeah.
Middle school basketball.
Girls.
Girls.
Girl.
Oh, wow.
That is just.
Still, though, what a block, jump ball.
Do you ever have any, what was the job scene like before Banana Ball?
Job scene.
The only job I had before Banana Ball was cutting grass in the summer.
You come off as a guy who could cut some mean grass, brother.
Yeah, weedy, edge, cut grass, you name it.
You want a zero turn, I guarantee you.
You would thrive, dude.
That's your place.
Yeah, actually, we actually do the youth camps with bananas,
and my stretch routine that I have of all the kiddos,
them up and I do very, very like just off the wall stretching with them. You know, I have one from,
you know, the Brazilian tree frog, you know, out of the jungle, and I do the lawnmower, which is a
great one. And then I do tornado runs, which is a disaster. But lawnmowers were my favorites.
And that's the kids, I teach them, I'm like, hey, can anybody guess what my summer job was in
2017? And nobody can never guess it. And I'm like, cutting grass, $8 an hour, you know, tax-free,
blah blah. And all the kids are like, what, what? I was like, you know what, we're going to learn
how to cut the grass today, blah blah blah. And I'll have them pair up. And I'm like, you got to crank
your lawnmower up and get them like making lawmore noises. So one of them's got to cut the
grass. One's got to push and they flip up. I thought you were going to say that you ran a youth
camp for cutting grass, which there's a market out there. That's actually really, that's not bad.
Just teaching kids what they need to know. Yeah. Yeah. You know what I've been thinking about
a lot lately, G. That there aren't enough summer sports.
and we might have to start watching professional windsurfing.
No, but that is intriguing.
I was talking about my shady rays sunglasses.
How are my shady rays basically the same quality as the $200 sunglasses I used to buy?
That is a great question because they feel every bit as premium as the expensive brands I've owned.
But the difference is, I'm not stressing about them.
I wear shady rays on the soccer field, on the golf course, on the boat.
And whatever happens happens.
Because if a soccer ball hits me right in the frames, they replace him.
or if a golf ball hits me right in the frames, they replace them.
Or if a fish jumps up and steals your shady rays, they replace them.

Before we get into a quick game, we're going to play before we wrap.
up, there's a debate about how to open a banana.
Do you know how to do it properly?
You know, I think we have a banana.
I thought so.
Sparky, right beside you?
I thought so, but now knowing that there's a wrong way, makes me think.
I just, I'm not going to give you any tips.
I want you to open this banana.
And do you like bananas?
I love it.
It's cannibalism, but I'm into it.
You feel like you're obligated to say that?
Yeah, you have to say that?
No, I would, I would tell you the truth.
You'd be honest? You know, the way that I would open this is from the stem end,
which I feel like that's wrong.
It's wrong, dude.
It's wrong, because the proper way to open a banana is from that end.
Show us.
Proper way is just this end right here.
Boom.
No way.
See, that was great, Gare.
Yeah.
See, I've always stimmed it.
See, the stem, here's the deal with the stem.
You mushed a banana, and it's not good, but the proper way,
and then I always throw the top to the,
I mean, see, I feel like that's pretty beautiful, though.
You know what I mean?
But see, it's all mushy up top.
It's all mushy up top.
Mine didn't have that.
I'm glad I could help a banana player.
You know how to open a banana.
This is a big debate.
It's not a debate.
The debate's ended that you open the banana from the bottom.
That makes me rethink everything I've ever learned now.
You have to throw away the top end of your bite, though.
And now my lap.
What do you mean?
This has got a little bruise on it down here, right?
It does, but you're going to eat that.
No, but now that's the part of my last buy,
and I can just leave it in here.
You could, or you can throw it to the birds.
Remember, I'm 39.
I like birds now.
Yeah.
I guess if you're bird watching,
I can see that being beneficial.
Yeah.
You got favorite animals?
Hmm.
It seemed like a golden retriever guy.
This might surprise you.
I'm a short king, right?
You know, I'm five foot.
Amen.
Nine-ish.
I don't know.
Maybe 10 in boots, maybe.
I have two long-haired wiener dogs at home.
Really?
Dude.
I had a dox in growing up.
Sir Henry of Oakwood, man.
They're a good dog.
Kobe and Bruno, man.
They should honestly be famous.
So I'm so sweet.
Your dogs or her dogs?
Joint custody.
Initially, joint custody.
Kobe was about,
Kobe might have been a year old when we first started dating.
But he's,
Lexi says I'm the stepdad,
and I hate that.
I'm going to be completely honest.
I'm the dad, for sure.
but Bruno, the second one, that's my boy.
Gary?
He actually won.
He's actually the fastest weiner dog in Savannah.
According to, he won a race.
A banana, at the banana game?
No, it was October Fest and, or weeny fest, excuse me,
and Savannah, they have a weiner, they have a wiener dog races.
They have a wiener dog Halloween costume.
It's insane.
And your boy took home gold, dude.
Took home the gold.
Pictures to prove it.
We might have to roll through the weenie fest.
Yeah, there's videos on my Instagram.
Almost athletes needs to be there.
We have the peanut festival back home where I'm from.
I got to say, dude, I've had a lot of dreams and aspirations to my life,
but never what I thought about eating a banana on a podcast with a banana player.
I'm truly honored, dude.
I'm truly honored.
What a day.
Feeding the dards in Memphis, Tennessee, which Tennessee ranks way up my list, man,
in terms of states that I don't call home.
Have you always called Georgia home?
Georgia's always been home.
And, I mean, University of North Georgia is not far from Tennessee.
You're up there in the mountains.
and I really enjoyed my time up there.
And I've also spent some time in Tennessee too.
Just what a beautiful, beautiful state, man.
Can you do your screech?
Yeah, I've had a...
You know, I've had some voice issues here.
And so typically a lot of the times when, you know...
Okay.
It's not...
It's not...
Yeah.
That's insane, dude.
So it's not prime or peak right now, but it's still there.
It's going through maturity, dude.
Ah!
Yeah, so that's all right.
Not bad.
It's not bad, dude.
It's been better.
That's insanity.
All right, before we let you go, thought we would play a game.
Bananas are known for their on-field celebrations.
Let's blind rank the best celebrations in sports ball time.
So, you know how this works.
We're going to flash something on the screen,
and you're going to give it a spot ranking from one to six,
but you don't know what's coming after.
Got you.
So that's how that works.
That's fun.
So we're going to blind rank celebrations, one through six.
hit me with the first one.
Checkered flag donuts at NASCAR.
The donut.
You know what I'm talking about, right?
Oh, yeah.
Donut on the grass.
Before Victory Circle,
tearing up the infield a little bit.
Checker, wow, that's a pretty electric celebration,
a pretty iconic one.
But I don't know what's going to come after.
It's the beauty.
I feel like, oh, man, that's hard.
I kind of want to go three there.
I kind of want to go three.
Three.
I would have gone three there, too.
That's good.
I think that's the rice.
You got a pickup guy?
Pick up truck for sure.
Yeah.
Yeah, yeah.
You ever go mud and you need a little mud on the tires?
I've got a Jeep too, a 2003 Jeep that's been ragged out for sure.
I used to take my electric golf cart into mud holes by my house.
Yeah, baby.
Up to the cup holders, man.
Outdoor.
Hey, four-wheelers, you name it.
Look, dude, whenever you want to retire from being a baseball player, just let us know.
It's incredible, man.
You can't put this guy in a box.
He's a banana-loving, weaning dog-o-em-em-d-tire kicker.
Baseball player.
It's insane.
man.
Look dark.
That's hilarious.
All right.
Next one up.
Soccer goal knee slide.
Wow.
I feel like that one's a pretty solid one.
I mean, soccer is like, the celebration is in soccer and the way people get behind it is like
the world's sport.
It's top tier.
It's the world's game.
Is there another one that can beat that out though?
I mean, game seven winner.
Yeah.
All right.
Let's go soccer goal two.
Let's go two.
I like that.
I like that.
They make it look so effortlessly.
They do.
It's a hard thing to do.
and it's like where I go straight in and it head and then face plant.
Scorpion. Got a little fat. Yeah, I'm worried that.
All right. Oh, a touchdown.
Touchdown celebration. That's vague though.
That is. You have to be like hit them with like the, a bronch spike or something.
Because there are some great touchdown celebrations up there.
And also touchdown celebration on like what kind like Super Bowl winning game drive.
Yeah.
Yeah.
We're talking preseason week too. There's a big difference.
There's a big difference.
Okay.
I'm going to put, let's say it's to win a playoff.
game because that's like winning that's like NASCAR winning you know I guess a big event okay
touchdown celebration dance to win the play when the playoff game it's huge and to add on what
would you do what it would what would I do Tuddy celebration I mean as much as the scuba's hitting
right now I feel like scuba would be a huge one or you know dunk in the field goal post is kind of
sick I got 30 for that though which is oh do they really my favorite of all the time was
when Zeke O'Eliot jumped in the Salvation Army.
Yeah.
Army donation box.
I thought that was clever.
That's Brian X.
I was thinking touchdown celebration around five, but now with the playoff game,
that could give it an edge, you know?
You got to hit those last ones, though, dude.
You don't want to get stuck with two good ones.
Yeah, let's go five.
Let's go five.
I like that.
I like that.
I like the way you're attacking this right now.
Oh, see, yeah.
Oh, wow.
I mean, any sport, crowdsforms and the field is electric.
Also dangerous.
Also dangerous.
Very dangerous.
And get your schools fine.
250 grand minimum.
See, I feel like NASCAR and donuts.
Like that's like, that's a you moment.
You won the thing.
You get to go out there and do it.
Soccer goal, you scored the knee slide.
I mean, that's kind of sick.
Touchdown, silly, you get to do it.
Crowdstorm.
It's kind of like, it's like a, you know, it's an overall thing.
I think I'm going to go, oh, I want to go four or six.
You know, I might go, I might go, I love the idea of storm in the field,
but I'm going to put it at six.
Yeah, good.
Good. Pouring a sports drink or water on a coach's head after a win.
This one's lived for a long time. That's in a classic. It's iconic. That's classic. That's classic. But is it number one over NASCAR and soccer?
I mean, it's, I want to take a risk here. I'll put that at four.
Okay. That's a risk. Yeah. Because number one. We actually saw that today.
That's one of the most iconic celebrations you could do.
We had one today to finish off all sports golf medal.
The last one is number one is so scary.
Oh, baby.
Oh, yeah.
Yes.
Yes.
That works out so well.
Walk off, home plate huddle.
There's nothing better in life.
Have you ever had a walk off?
I've hit some walk off.
A dingon?
Let me think, actually.
Long gone silver?
I don't know if I've ever had any.
Well, in banana ball, you can walk off every inning, which is kind of sick.
So I've definitely done that a few times.
I don't know if I've ever hit a walk.
I've hit a walkoff like base hits and knocks.
I don't know if I've ever actually hit.
a walk off home run though.
It doesn't matter.
I've hit some big ones though.
Yeah, that's great.
That played out great.
That played out really well.
The ranking was pretty good.
As long as you don't kind of his morale as yourself.
Do you remember that?
When he snapped his leg, jumping on home play?
Yeah, that's no good.
Never a problem I had to worry about because I never hit a home run in my life.
Garrett, you ever hit home run over the fence?
No.
No.
Dude, that's a feeling I never ever got to feel.
It's a great feeling.
Is it?
It's a great feeling.
What's the furthest ball you ever hit feet-wise, you think?
I don't know, but I've hit.
I don't know exactly, but I've hit.
hit some, I would like to think I've hit some over 400 feet. I had a grand slam in college,
dead central, our field's 390. If I had to guess, it's, it was somewhere on that 405 range,
if I had to guess, you know, just feel like you're the Hercules. It feels so good, yeah.
And I've hit some balls and banana ball that went a long way. The first time we ever played
another professional team, one that we didn't like create ourselves, we played the Kansas City
Monarchs, and I hit a home run in the 8th inning to keep it tied. And it was the,
one of the biggest home runs of my career.
I mean, just a deep, deep drive to left center field.
And so I don't know how far it went,
but the wind was kind of blowing out too,
so it was hit a long way.
Whoa, wow.
All right, that's our two-minute warning.
That means we got two minutes to rant about anything we want.
I shouldn't let it get to me.
I'm a social media.
Connoisseur? Influencer?
Yeah, you're an influencer. That's safe to say.
And when a clip goes around
and you comment on a clip,
but what you're commenting,
you literally call me out for being
kind of like moronic,
and then you say like,
it should be this,
this,
and I literally said the exact thing you're arguing for,
and I'm like,
why don't you just listen to the clip
if you're going to comment?
I don't know, dude,
it just irks me a little bit.
Like, it shouldn't irk me,
but I'm like, dude,
I literally said exactly what you said
in the video.
You're calling me out for,
what are you calling me out for?
So you're saying,
You're frustrated that they're not listening to what you're actually saying.
Yeah, dude.
I'm not, I'm just, I'm just, look, just a man.
I could agree with everything in life.
And then no one would listen to what anyone has to say because no one wants to hear just like everyone agreeing with sports takes.
Yeah.
I mean, just keyboard warriors just jumping a gun, you know.
They're out there trying to draw you off sides here.
And again, no, I like the comments.
I'm just saying, just listen.
A hard count.
And if you disagree with me, still, that's fine.
But like, don't call me out for something.
I'm actually saying the same thing.
You are?
Sure.
That's crazy.
That is absolutely wild.
You can absolutely disagree with me and I love that.
I hope y'all still do.
But like, it needs to be a disagreement, not an agreement.
I appreciate the vulnerability right there.
Anyway, sorry, dude.
That was a little bit longer than I wanted to go.
Mine's not a rant.
It's more of a welcome home.
Welcome home.
I welcomed a new fan to the family.
Yeah, Fantasia.
I was up in New York doing that John Boy appearance
and they're going through that northeast heat stroke thing.
You know, it's been hot up there in the northeast.
So I walked into Target, man.
a sucker for Targeting their deals.
They cook up some good ones.
I bought a new fan.
Sorry, he names his fans, pets, pet names.
Yeah.
I've got a collection of like fans to the face when I sleep.
Wendy's been replaced?
No, Wendy's not been replaced.
It's just another.
I had no idea what's going on.
I thought he was like dog.
No, it's another arm in the bullpen.
I just didn't know what was going on.
Target, 1499, three speed Honeywell.
She's on the bus right now.
I'll get a picture, man.
She is beautiful.
I'll tell you what.
And what's crazy is like when I walk in the fan section and I see
the deal like that as soon as it's like a it's like the puppy effect as soon as you make eye contact
and you're like 1499 for a three speed honeywell it's like once you make eye contact with the puppy
you got to take it home same thing happened man i'm a sucker for fans that's crazy he's at the fan
fantation yo fintasian fantasion wow what a i mean i had no idea where you're doing
that i kind of thought you were actually talking about fantasion the american idol girl and i was like
she was in new york watching john boy but that wasn't that wasn't i'm so far off
ever find yourself at the target up there in NYC.
I'll check out the deals on the fans.
Well, Bill, do you have anything to rant on?
Honestly, not really.
Just the way that the twins were like marking their puts today.
I agree.
I tell you.
Wait, look, we can't always just.
We would have too many rant if we focused on the twins, man.
We just kind of have to let those go.
Do you ever feel like they're stirring the pot?
Sometimes I think they're well aware of what they're doing.
And today was their birthday, so they knew they get away with more.
They're rage-baited?
I think it's just like the keyboard warrior.
I think they pushed the limit just to see how much you're willing to go there.
Yeah.
That's about it, though.
All right.
I appreciate you, Bill.
Really do, man.
Awesome.
We still have a couple more days together.
Thank you.
This is great.
Hopefully we see you in a D.P.O. video very soon.
That would be great.
Because I think the people would love that.
I know I would.
Looks like our time is up.
