No, no.
Two good things that don't need to be together.
It's really three things.
I like jello.
I like gummy worms and I like hot dogs.
You put them all together.
That is horrible.
That's the worst one yet.
There's too many textures going on.
Yeah, there is way too much going on there.
There's a gummy worm that really did me in and I think I'm going to puke.
Has anyone ever left the studio mid show?
No, you sit down.
Nice things.
Love you.
Hey, you sit down.
No, come back.

We're your host.
I'm Garrett.
I'm Sparky.
I hope you guys had a great Fourth of July.
We are actually on tour right now, as you can see from the set.
Just got through the first couple legs.
It's going fantastic.
If you don't have tickets yet, make sure to get them today.
www.dew. Dudeperfect.com slash tour. Come see us. Come hang out with us. It's going to be a fun rest of the summer. Sparks. What do we got today?
Yeah, Gary, funny. You ask. We got to rodeo superstar. Self-proclaimed superstar. Dale Brisbane coming in to talk a little country.
We're also fresh off celebrating America's 250th, so we'll dig into that. We didn't have a hot dog eating contest.
Instead, we came up with ideas to spice up your next summer barbecue by tasting some weird alternative.
to ketchup and mustard that I still taste in my mouth.
I'm not sure we found the alternative.
So, without further ado, let's get into it.
This is pre-tape from Tor.
G and Spark, almost athletes.
Let's do it now.
Welcome back.
Happy to be joined by the tall man, Cody Jones,
our foodie expert, which means, yes,
we're about to jump into some food.
A while back, we got a voicemail about soggy cereal,
and we talked about potential milk alternatives
for when you run out in the fridge.
So we decided to try to find out
what's the best milk alternative
you might have lying around the house,
We tried things like orange juice, chocolate milk, apple cider vinegar, ranch dressing.
Well, since now it's officially summer, we're going to try some alternative condiments for ketchup and mustard.
Why? Who decided this?
So if you run out of those, we've got a good idea.
Yeah, it's hot dogs.
It's weird toppings.
It's Cody Jones.
It's just eat nasty stuff.
Eat nasty stuff and let us laugh.
There's going to be some that slap, and you're going to be like, dude, I had no idea.
Like, I didn't know that orange juice and fruity pebbles are meant to go together.
Did you know that?
They are not.
Yeah, that's what you say.
I see, that's what,
so that's what really the game's about.
It's really about finding the next topping.
Okay, I would rather just go bear dog.
Look, it could be Nutella on a hot dog.
I don't know.
It could be awesome.
I don't know if that's one of the things.
It could be like candy on a hot dog.
Okay.
Yeah, I'm in.
I feel like the world's going to thank us for this later.
We're doing the hard work.
We're doing the hard work for him.
I just knew I should have been a DPO guy.
I knew I should have been a DPO guy.
Really?
We're like self-signing up for wheel spins in here sometimes.
And people aren't acknowledging it.
Well, DPO did do the snake box, which was a wheel, unfortunate punishment.
Oh, yeah, that's true.
Good point.
All right. First up, let's just get right into it, dude, because there's no reason to wait.
The audience wants to see it.
Mayo.
Ranch.
Ranch on a hot dog.
You don't like ranch?
I like ranch.
I don't like ranch on my dog.
This feels like an easier one, though.
I actually think this might slap.
All dressing on a dog?
I actually think this might be really good.
Now, it depends on the ranch dressing.
This is some of that garlicy ranch dressing stuff.
This just needs to be Hidden Valley.
Ooh, Hidden Valley.
Ranch dressing.
Where'd we go?
Where'd we get to ranch?
It's Hidden Valley.
Non-spawn.
Okay, cool.
Hidden Valley, look.
I don't know if that helps me some ranch.
I kind of rather to be.
Whoa.
You don't have a loaties.
A swimming pool of ranch.
Oh, it's a little hot dog with your ranch.
Susie.
Just for the future condiments, I think one dog and we just cut the dog.
We're just saving.
dogs at this point.
Yeah, dude. You know, you don't want to waste...
Why is nobody worried about saving my life?
Yeah. This could be the end of me. Also, I
hope people know Heimlich in this because...
Dude, dude. Oh, what? What happened to my dog?
Optically?
Bad. I don't like the optical
look either sparks. I will say, but I'm gonna go right into it.
Oh! It looks like mayonnaise.
I wish it was.
Also, your bread to wean ratio
has to be right. We're getting a lot of bread here.
This has, I have a lot of thoughts.
I have a lot of thoughts.
This does not work.
This does not work.
Thankfully, you can really taste that grittiness of the dog in that
because the ranch dressing almost made a gag reflex come out there for a second.
See, I think based on the table that I saw of stuff,
this is going to be our number one spot, like by far.
No way.
It's already just a topping.
So you've just added to it.
A gummy worm.
That is unfortunate to hear because that was horrible.
I know. It's not good, but it's better than what's coming.
It's a lead off walk.
It's not good. And optically, like you said, makes your mind even think it's worse.
See, I liked it. I didn't like it. I could do it.
No, it's nothing like mustard or a...
You're weird and you liked it. It's okay. Say it.
Kids, kids, moms, dads,
I'd go no ranch on the dog.
I'm actually... It's like a lead off walk. It's better than giving up a lead off home run.
But yeah, not great.
What would you guys give the ranch at a 10?
A one
It was gross
7 out of 10 for the ranch
7 out of 10 you're a psycho
Like I'm mostly a ranch guy on like pizza
Are you
I'm ranch on French fries
Okay so you're a big ranch guy
Yeah
Salad
Four for me on the ranch
Yeah one's probably a little too harsh
I'd probably go three
Probably three
And I'm probably a little too
Positive it's probably more like a 5
Okay
That makes more sense
How many do we have?
I don't know.
I would pace yourself.
Okay, I'm just going to say it's my number one.
It's also last because we've only done one.
But I like it.
The ranch dressing?
I think ranch will be the best one at the end of the day.
Next up, I disagree with you.
Next up, we have.
You think Hershey's syrup can be better?
We have certain.
No, this isn't Hershey's.
This is just syrup.
This is maple syrup, right?
I can get behind this.
This is just, this is maple syrup, like a breakfast hot dog.
A dessert dog.
And I got to say, I hope this hits because I am in dire,
need of a new breakfast item for my kids. I'm running out. Dude, I used to do the
the sausage that's wrapped in the pancake that you dip in the syrup, so that's what I'm
gonna think here. It's McGrittle. This could be the next light on the syrup
there, Sews. Ooh, a little drizzle. See, this is like a McGrittle. I can do this.
Yeah, yeah, I think this one we should we should savor this one I think it's gonna be
the best. This one's the best. Could we and then also, could we just get rid of the
ranch dogs? They just, the look visually is just not
good. No, he's right.
It just keeps opening up.
This is great.
This is fantastic. I have
a feeling this is going to work.
This is going to play.
Oh, that's nice.
That's like a...
Is that not like breakfast sausage?
It's different. It's not a breakfast sausage.
No, it's not a B sauce.
I'm going to give that a six and a half
out of ten. Yeah.
That, it makes the bread sweet.
That's first place for me.
You got sweet and savory.
That's a nine spot.
for Spark.
Well, I can get behind that.
Nine spot is like a dog out in Gunner, Texas, dude.
To be fair, it's better than some of the dogs I've had fed to me.
I did like the maple, but not a nine.
Jeez.
Remember, a 10 is the best you can get.
That's your ketchup, your mustard, your relishes.
See, I thought those were off on a different ratings.
No, that's a skate.
That's a 1 through 10, brother.
A 7 instead of a 9.
There we go.
I'm going to keep my 9.
I'm going to keep my 9.
That resonating with me.
We're moving up into a little bit heavier protein.
We're going to go peanut butter on a hot dog.
In jelly.
In jelly, dude.
Oh, PB&J.
PB and.
Oh, what kind of jelly?
Grape, strawberry?
I believe it's grape.
Not made with grapes, though.
Yeah, I don't know if this is going to pair well.
Strawberry would have paired better.
Make sure the camera can see the goodness.
Yeah, I mean, you guys see that.
That's...
I actually think that this one should be okay.
It smells delicious.
It is my favorite type of peanut butter.
here we go
oh
that's unbelievable
I took my hot dog out
I made a Pee and J
it's so good
do put the hot dog back in
because that is
we might have just found something boys
I can't do it
I don't like the meat with it
I went in for a second bite
I personally love that
I'm giving that an 8
wow that was fantastic
I'm a big PB and J guy
I do love dogs I am too
like Uncrustibles are my
that's love language
yeah that's my love language
I speak back.
Hey, uncrustables, look, if you start putting hot dogs and your uncrustables, just
give us a little bit of a kick back here.
Just a little bit.
Or a heads up.
Before you buy it.
Before you buy it.
Cody wants a heads up.
I would like some profit share.
I'm going to give it a six.
Yeah, I'm actually going to follow suit there.
It's also a six for me because the meat really disturbs things there.
Fun fact about PB and Js, do you know in Panama on deep sea fishing too when I got sick?
I ate like four PB&Js a day for four straight days
because all they had was seafood.
I think Michael from Guinness should have been there.
I had like 16 PB&Js over the course of three days.
Tough trip for me.
Not going to lie, guys.
Something's not sitting well.
Yeah, it's probably the dog with peanut butter and jelly on it.
Up next, Nutella and marshmallow flush.
Gosh, I love.
The fluffer dog.
Ooh, I'm interested.
The fluffer doggar.
Sounds like one of the ones at your house.
Didn't you name one fluffer dog?
No, I don't have a fluffer dog.
I don't have a fluffer dog.
Yeah, Susie, what would you rank these?
You're eating these as well, right?
No, because I don't even eat hot dogs, so...
You know what's crazy?
She's the waitress who's not taking our orders.
This is insane.
Thank you, Sue.
Yep.
Cindy Lou Who?
Oh, dude.
Yum.
Oh, gosh, why does it look like this?
This cannot be FDA approved.
You know what?
They approve quite a bit.
Nowadays actually, yeah, they'd probably recommend that.
Oh, this is going to be tough.
Let me know, guys.
Did they actually come out?
and say that the whole like food pyramid was a myth?
Yeah, turn it upside down.
No way, I need eight daily servings of grains.
I always thought that was weird.
At an early age, I was like, this is not adding up.
I think that's a lot of grains.
Oh, man, I'm dreading this one.
Nutella and...
Oh, it's so...
It's so unique.
It's so unique, dude.
It's like not...
When you get to bite a hot dog, you're like, oh, that's fine.
But then when you get the sweet and fluffy with it, you're like, oh, that's...
See, man, one the other way.
The dessert first and I ended with the hot dog.
Oh, that's bad.
Like, ruins it.
It's why I had that, I had that savory right off the graph and then it was sweetness that followed.
That ain't it.
That's a five for me.
I'm going to go four.
I didn't like, I actually just think the marshmallow fluff would have been fine, but the chocolate with it was...
This is where my palate is getting invaded on.
How many more we got left? Just curious.
Like four more.
Oh, my God.
You said six.
That's like me eating seven dogs.
It looks cough drops?
Gummy words.
Okay, I'm about to say, we're doing cough drops on a dog.
I love all's cough drops.
Sometimes those are just as good as jelly.
The Nutella fluff combo?
That's an eight for me, believe it or not.
The fluffer dog.
The fluffer doggard, dude.
It's not bad.
It had a smores vibe to it,
but the dog just invited itself to the sleepover.
Wait, wait, I thought we're going,
what are you doing?
I'm putting my number down.
Oh, jello and gummy worms?
Now you're just getting crazy.
Dude.
The jiggly dog.
The jiggly dog is not going to make my stomach jiggle.
I'm going to go up.
I'm going to roll up.
I'm saying.
Do you guys need a trash can?
I'm not almost Nick D. Giovanni.
I never claimed that.
Also, this dog looks undercooked.
Why do you just bring me in for the weird stuff?
The dog, you can't undercook a dog.
We have a staff meeting today, and I'm going to spend it.
It's like eyeballs from the cow, dude.
Oh, he doesn't like it.
He doesn't like it.
It's fine, and then you get the hot dog, and you're just like...
I don't want to bite it.
Oh, that's so weird.
The jello did not add.
No.
No.
It's like wearing a raincoat to the public pool.
What are you doing?
I'm going to go three.
No.
No.
So, two good things that don't need to be together.
It's really three things.
I like jello.
I like gummy worms, and I like hot dogs.
You put them all to.
That is horrible. That's the worst one yet. Yeah, I put a three down. Two and it's lucky to be a two. There's too many textures going on. Yeah, there is way too much going on there. There's the gummy worm that really did me in and I think I'm gonna puke. And dude, there's different temperatures like the hot dogs hot, the gummy worms are cold. Bread's lukewarm. Oh, I'm pretty warm. Oh, I'm pretty good. Oh, I'm gonna cook. Do you can see it's how pink that is? Yeah, so it's gonna'clock. Oh, we can see it's gonna'clock. We're in it together boys. Only three more. You might have to bleep out what I say.
It's not bad.
My only saving grace is you got a sour melon blast ready to rumble.
I don't even have an S-melon blast next to me.
So there's only three left guys.
Cool.
Oh, cool. Thank you.
How many of you done? Zero?
Cool, dude.
Wow, you're so generous, Jared.
So, I got a good segment, I guess.
Oh, it looks like the dog's bleeding too.
You got to get that away from me, dude.
This one's called the Hot Dog Split.
Sunday with ice cream, chocolate syrup, whipped cream, cherry on top.
Oh, I'm glad that there's cherry on top.
I hate cherries too, dude.
I hate them.
Really?
Oh, I hate cherries.
Oh, yeah, you don't like cherries.
You can take the cherry off yours.
I hate pickles and cherries, man.
Don't ask you.
That's why.
That's weird.
Look at this.
Isn't it cute?
I mean, I guess.
I wanted to just attack the ice cream, but you really can't get around the...
I can't, dude.
I'm going to puke.
I think I'm going to puke.
I'm going to avoid the chair.
This is one of the better ice creams.
Why does Ty get to do all the good ones?
Like...
It's so weird.
It's hot and cold.
It's like a hot brownie, but it's not a hot dog.
It's like a...
Skillet.
Molin, love a cake.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
At the ballpark.
No, you know, we're like taking pills
and you've got to swallow them, you know,
like an antibiotic and you're at...
That's where I had to go.
You're taking a healthy bite out of that.
Well, I'm not... I'm here to play.
That might be worse than the jiggly doggar
or whatever that was.
The jing...
Oh, go one.
Couldn't get worse.
I keep saying they're worst, the worst.
Oh, my gosh.
You're right, dude.
You were right on the ranch.
The ranch might have been the best.
Yeah, because it was a topping.
Yeah, negative three, though, not three.
Negative three on that one.
That was so bad.
My stomach hurts.
All right, last one.
Yeah, at this point, I'm just like, hey, let's rip it.
It's not as bad.
The butt dog?
Is that what this one's called?
Oh, butterscotch pudding.
No, no, no, no.
We're doing cranberry.
I'm gonna skip this one.
Has they ever left the studio mid-show?
I've tried.
I don't mind being the first.
I've tried.
They keep pulling me back.
They say they're not going to keep filming.
I love you.
I'm proud of you.
Thanks for having me.
I'm gonna start a union.
No.
High five.
Good to see you, buddy.
Hey, thanks for having me again.
No, dude.
I love you.
No.
The last dog.
Guys, comment below.
No, you sit down.
It stinks.
Love you.
Hey, you sit down.
I'm going to take this tub of ice cream, too.
No, come back.
Cranberry sauce, guys.
We lost Cody.
Why does this dog look?
Why does this dog look like this?
The cranberry industry should have been dead and gone by now.
Nobody's doing...
Look at what's this?
Well, it's tart.
Well, it's tart.
T's and peas. T's and peas.
Thoughts and prayers.
The tartness from that sauce.
It's not as bad as the other ones.
I'm going to give that a four.
The tartness really...
Really plays nicely.
with the savouriness of the dog.
I just don't like the way my dog look there.
It's a little burned or something.
Ew.
Oh.
I didn't like that at all.
It's not as bad as the Sunday, dude.
That's just as bad, if not more.
Zero.
Zero.
Let's recap this.
Number one, I'm just mad at Sparky for picking this.
You're the show creator, right?
No, that wasn't me.
That's our...
I'll talk to Jared over there.
Why can't we do something that?
Just leave.
No, I had to pee.
I'm sorry.
I will say.
Uh-oh.
Crandi?
I don't love.
Can we just do something where we're actually trying to find something like legit?
Oh, my stomach is rumbling.
I can barely even get through this.
Is this the last segment?
That's a zero.
I think it's the last segment ever, Garrett.
It's a zero.
I think we come back from this.
I think I died.
This is where just you don't mess up a good thing.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
Well, next week we're going to test dog food, not we, just Jared.
And we'll see what goes well in that, ranch dressing and dog food and stuff like that.
So that was nasty, man.
That's not the proper way to get into Fourth of July, ma'am.
No, it's not.
It's a disgrace.
The American in me is just so mad.
So you're really just ranting about the fact that you want to celebrate the fourth in a proper way.
It is my favorite holiday.
I have said that many times before.
Yeah, over Christmas, over Easter, over Halloween.
I actually like it, too.
Mine's 4th of July because they actually, if you didn't know, they named the sparkler after me, my family.
They did, dude.
They did.
So when you light up the sparklers, think of sparky.
Yeah, my great-grandfather, invented it, ma'am.
That's sick, dude.
Good dude.
Really good, dude.
I did have a family member.
Didn't even know.
Didn't even know.
They emailed me, said we're related.
Had a fact check it.
Turns out, second cousin.
What do you call it?
What's the website that people are using?
23 and me, but I think they went bankrupt for the
for telling the twins that they're the founding fathers of America or something.
Yeah, they were lied to you.
Hey, that was where I knew.
These guys are making this up.
I think it was like the twins were related to Thomas Jefferson or something.
For real.
Yeah, that's pretty cool.
We did it for a TV show.
You remember this, Jared?
We did, and it turns out that the whole story was a tall tale.
Yeah.
That was a tough one.
They had to travel all the way to London.
I know, that's what I'm saying.
We had to travel.
All's why these companies are fake, dude.
We traveled all the way to the,
to London because the cottons thought they were related to royalty, but it turns out they're just pure American cotton.
Wow.
On those webmds or whatever, it's called, you know what I'm talking about.
My webmd, I'm going to do some webm d after this.
I'm like sweating.
Yeah, dude.
That cranberry sauce is caught right there, man.
How am I supposed to show up to staff meeting after this?
I'm flustered.

Self-proclaimed.
You did the self-proclaimed thing?
You don't do that when you tell people?
Yeah, I don't like that.
You don't throw up the little quotes?
This little buckle here.
You know, yeah.
Yeah, you can't buy that, dude.
That little buckle?
Yeah.
This is my travel size.
You should see the one I got at the house.
Oh, really?
Yeah.
Well, were we talking like a, how big?
Bigger than yours.
Like wall mounted?
Yeah, bigger than your buckle.
That one's got a fin his carry on.
So.
How do you get one of those?
You just be good at it.
Oh, really?
Which you got pretty good at it pretty quick.
I don't mind bringing that up quickly.
Yeah.
That was a, that was a favorite part of my, of y'all.
video, one of the favorite parts. I appreciate it, man, but not belt buckle worthy, more like a pen.
Yeah. Yeah, that's fine. Like a ribbon.
Yeah, the profiliping guy. Yeah. It's a big ribbon. You look like a ribbon guy.
Were you proud of Tyler as well? I was. Yes. I don't want to say I was a prize, because, I mean,
I mean, all you guys are athletic. I've seen that. But it's wild how many people just think
they can ride a bowl. Like in the comments, if we ask people to comment below, like,
how many y'all think you could ride a bowl? An obnoxious amount of people think they can ride a bowl.
Why do you think that is?
It just looks easier than it is.
I've never thought bull riding looked easy.
That's great.
I think golf looks easy when you watch it.
But bull riding?
Dude, people think it's...
You got to have balance.
That's a factor.
Yeah, that's a factor.
Yeah, and it's if they've done anything athletic,
if somebody's like...
No, it doesn't matter.
Like, Ocho Cinco, did y'all see that?
He got on a bowl?
Like, dude, he represents a large part of the population, I think.
Yeah.
But I say that to say,
every now and then
somebody actually will be really good at it
from the beginning.
I think Tyler's one of those people.
Yeah.
Just destined for greatness, huh?
Yeah.
I grew up going and working calves
out in West Texas,
and you'll take somebody that thinks
that they're all about it,
and then they go in there
with a little 200-pound calf,
and it's getting drug to them,
and it's time to go in there
and grab the tail, grab the rope,
and grown men that are timid going in there
to go grab a tail,
and then they think, oh yeah, I can get on the back of a bull.
It's another level.
It's another level.
It's a long fall too, man.
Yeah, it's not comfortable.
You're not going to overpower the bull.
You're not going to, you know, you're not stronger than the bull.
So it comes down to like this counterintuitive thing of like,
I got to go to the front, even though that's where the horns are.
And like it's counterintuitive anyhow.
When a man can do that, like you did, fear sets in,
and your intuition is to run to the fence.
But you have to literally run the other way.
And I feel like at some point every man should experience something like that.
Maybe not on a bull.
Yeah, I don't disagree with that.
Yeah, they're just, there's so much power.
Yeah, it's wild.
Great respect for them after encounter.
I already had great respect for them, but man, this thing's got a mind of their own.
But at the same time.
When did the respect happen, you're having the sirloin or something?
No, when I got poked.
I didn't know.
When you were?
Got poked in the be hind.
Oh, we don't, oh, I was going to say we don't call it getting poked, but.
What do you call it?
What do you call it?
I want to be a cowboy?
I mean, getting hooked.
Getting hooked, that's what I said.
That sounds cool.
You don't want to use the term poked.
Nobody's worried about getting poked.
But when you get hooked, right.
What you didn't see on camera is I didn't sit straight for about two weeks.
He got me left cheek really good.
See, I thought you meant like you got hooked in one particular spot, which does sometimes happen.
It was close.
It was not good.
Dangerously close.
Like, yeah, that'll like, that's a whole different doctor visit.
I had to be careful wiping.
You got to see a different doctor, actually.
It's a whole different doctor
That's a whole different doctor
Yeah
I'm gonna stick here in this room
Do you still have your
You still have your interns
Oh yeah 10 of them
You pay them?
Yeah
If the checks go through
Not much
Not much but they do get paid
We just we continue to call them interns
So it kind of advertises to the world
I've got this revolving door
Of a position
I like that mentality
Yeah but see he puts his interns
Through Cowboy poker
See I think our interns need to start
They gotta go through the
gontlet. That's where I was headed with this. I mean, Jackson and IG started doing it with
having to redo the top 10 wheel unfortunate punishments. Like you got to prove to us that you're
willing to go through it a little bit to be here. I think we might start sending them over to
Dale. Yeah, just like a week train. Just a week long intern training. Dude, that is so fantastic.
Yeah, interns on loan. And we just see who wants it. Like you want to be here, prove it.
Yeah, prove that you're a company man is what we call it. Yeah. That's a company man.
I don't think I'd pass. I think I'd be kicked out. Yeah. Yeah, the bull poker, stuff like that, like
you don't have to do things like that,
but I do angle for the kind of intern
that has that in their DNA.
Yeah, you want a little bit of that.
A little bit of that, I don't care.
Little hot shot sword fighting.
I'm just not seeing it, man.
Are you sponsored by Shady Ray's like we are?
Oh, y'all are too.
Yeah.
Yeah, we are?
I saw the nice Shady Razza.
Could I get some?
I like some of those shades.
That's cool.
Yeah, dude, it's a podcast deal.
Oh, yeah.
Outdoors doesn't get to participate in that?
You know they have over 300,000 five-star reviews?
Is this an average?
No, that was on purpose.
I don't know if you're aware of their protection program.
No, I just saw this.
Yeah.
But, you know, their protection program is phenomenal.
It's great for cowboys.
Golly.
I'd love to get me a pair.
Yeah.
Awesome.
Maybe if you have enough visits on the podcast.
Now that you've been on both.
Yeah.
Maybe.
Yeah, maybe we can get you.
We'll start noticing me, maybe.
Yeah.
Take me back to the beginning.
How did one?
get interested.
How did your love affair for that kind of lifestyle grow about?
And then how did you go full-fledged into it?
Well, the Bull Riders specifically part was when I invented Riding Bulls with one hand.
Yeah.
So I used to it.
It was two hands on there.
You changed the game.
That's a little too easy.
Like, what are we doing?
Yeah.
I was like, you don't want a lot.
Yeah.
This was supposed to be hard.
And I also didn't realize why the, you know, whistle was like, oh, only eight seconds.
And so that I just, I kept that.
but I actually just gifted my bull rope to Tyler earlier as a gift on my podcast,
so I don't know what I'm going to do about getting on bulls.
But I started the video side of what I was doing like 2013.
So we went to A&M same time as y'all.
And then I think we had vastly different experience today.
We were in different buildings.
We did.
I was what most people at A&M would call it 2% or.
Because you had to leave the game early to make it to the rodeo.
Well, Ty would skip the game completely to go hunting every Saturday.
I may be a 1% or Dale, to be honest.
Yeah, Ty wouldn't even show up to the game.
He's like, dude, it's fall.
I'd hunt during the fall.
I didn't go to a lot because they're on Saturdays,
and that's when rodeos.
So, yeah, but yeah, just,
and then the first video come out July 1st, 2013.
And I have not caught you all since.
Y'all got 64 million subs
and I have almost 800,000.
Okay.
So.
Not too shabby?
But hey, you know, like, I mean, my goal was, I'm grateful.
I'm grateful for every view because my goal was to pay the bills.
And I have.
So, yeah.
What was y'all's goal?
We didn't have a goal.
We were just there to have fun, compete with each other.
Actually, our only goal was we, when we put out the video,
we were like, it'd be cool to get a YouTube video with a million views.
that was really the only goal that we had
which was a bunch
yeah oh that was insane
no yeah we didn't really think it was attainable
but that was the only goal that we had
when we first posted the video
but going back to 2013 are we
we're riding bulls
yeah I was full-time rodeo on your full-time rodeo in
yep so I was riding bulls
I think probably my biggest passion
in the arena I did fight bulls
I had my PRCA card for nine years.
I did a little too much in the arena looking back,
but the thing I'm most passionate about
was bronch riding, the saddle bronch.
The saddle and a buck and horse,
and I'll still get on those.
I got on one, three at the practice pan a month ago,
and still go to rodeos for that occasionally.
Why do people want to do that?
It's just kind of like putting yourself through like a car wreck
every time I watch that.
So you might be thinking of the bareback riding
with the rigging handle,
and that's like super,
but there's another.
Bucking horse event that's a saddle
and it's a little more fluid looking
the bareback riders if you were
going to fight a rodeo contestant
don't pick a bearback rider that's the last
put him on the bottom of the list who do you want to fight
at a rodeo I mean first
it's going to be caffrobers
the concession stand ropers
concession stand ropers would be
concession stand workers are after
like timed events okay you know
no offense the team rope no I'm just kidding
but whoever is wherever
put the bearback riders
last. They're that crazy. Yeah. But I loved fighting bulls. I loved riding bulls, but there's nothing
I love more than bronch riding. Okay. It's kind of the thing, but do you ever feel resentment from
the rodeo crowd in terms of like you capturing content? Because I feel like the rodeo crowd is, you know,
their blue collar, they kind of do their thing. A little late to the tech game. A little late to the tech game.
Do you ever find it like, have, look at this guy with his camera walking around?
Definitely that way a few years ago.
I could sense that.
But here lately, you could sense hostility towards me.
You're into that crowd.
He's so into it.
Okay, I knew the answer to that question.
But here lately, there's so many vlogs, vloggers, podcasts, like short form.
It's very competitive right now, which I'm okay with.
Is that a good thing?
All ships rise in a high tide, you know?
I mean, for the industry, it's a great thing.
Yeah, the more eyes on rodeo, the better.
Yeah, absolutely.
Yeah, it's a good thing.
I mean, I mean, it causes me to like stay sharp, which is a good thing, you know,
and I'm sure you guys experience it a little bit.
Like, y'all are on a whole other level, but.
Crazyest bull riding experience you've had to have a moment where it's like,
yep, it's over.
This is the end near life or near death experience at all?
Man, I went to Arizona a couple weeks ago.
It's not bull riding, the bull later anyway.
It's a long story, and I'll make it give you the cliff note.
It's very, yes, very fresh, but like went out to Arizona with Der Brigay,
try to catch these Maverick Bulls, caught one, you got to lead them out.
And I'm on this horse of mine that I thought would do it.
Turns out he wouldn't trying to lead uphill this bull, wild bull, never seen a human.
And my horse kind of gives up.
Same time this horse, this bull runs downhill backwards.
So it flips over and the horse lands on the,
my right side I'm on my back I mean the biggest horse I have lands right here the bull is right here
the rope goes behind me and tied off to the saddle horn and then the the horse rolls over on top of me
like couldn't put more weight on me and and then gets up and they go that way my foot hangs to the
rope it was a it was a wreck to hear Derek Begay tell it like worst wreck he had ever seen and uh I just
new going over. I was like, God is going to take care of me somehow. Like, he's going to carve out.
And sure enough, there's this little pocket. There's a cactus in it, so that hurt. But I landed
in this pocket. Just a little thorn in your side. With cactus and the cactus, thankfully, was the,
well, I did partially tear my MCL. But other than that, like, I'm alive, you know? And so, like,
that just happened. And we caught it on film. And those bulls went through the sale barn in Arizona.
And I bought them and they're at my house now. And we're going to buck them.
So that was kind of the coolest story slash.
We live vastly different lives.
Yeah.
What did you do two weeks ago?
I said, what about you, man?
I don't know, man.
I swam in my swimming pool.
But I wanted to do that.
I wanted to be there.
That was one of those trips.
Like, you can't just go out there for the views.
Like, I thoroughly wanted,
because I'd gotten a Snapchat years ago of Derek Begay
on this reservation, 300,000 acres.
And then he's Snapchating the horizon.
and you can see his horse ears, and he pans down,
and there's a bull with its horns cut off that he's leading out.
And I just immediately was like,
one day I'm going to do that.
And I got butterflies, and I just get to also film it.
Kind of like you get.
Like, you guys are doing stuff you enjoy, and you get to film it.
Cowboys are a different breed.
They also have great names.
What's some of the best cowboy names you've ever heard of?
I mean, there's always, there's the one, you know, Latigo,
and, you know, like guys like Rawson or Riggin.
How about Rocky Wisdom?
That's a good one.
That sounds like more like a hunting name.
No,
it was a West Texas cowboy.
Really? Yeah.
There's a guy that goes with us to Arizona.
His name is whip pop Peterson.
Whip Pop Peterson is sick.
Dude,
some creative player names is just,
you gotta file some of those away.
That sounds like an 1880s baseball player.
Yeah,
who's the greatest bull rider of all time?
Dale Brisbane.
Who's second greatest?
Going right now,
I mean, I would put,
you know, J.B.
is in the combo.
Like, I mean, he's not going right now.
That's, I think right now it's going to be closer to either John Crember or Stetson-Rite.
But, yeah, J.B., I don't know, he's just got the, they call him the Dragon Slayer for a reason, you know.
He just, he wants the rancest bull.
And it's that mindset.
Like, whenever you got hung up and you walked, you didn't like, oh, my gosh, I'm glad I'm okay.
Like, your own safety wasn't even in your head.
It was, I got to get that bull back again.
and like that was like guys that have that I think is that's why people because there's people
that have more world titles than J.B. He's the two-time PBR world champ. He'd been to the
PBR world finals 15 times in a row. There's there's other people even with more PBR world titles
but like his mentality like that is what people. Dragon Slayer may be one of the coolest nicknames
I've ever heard. Yeah, yeah. You guys could call me that just if you want every once in a while.
I'll get the dragon slayer.
I'll get the dragon slayer.
Tyler, the dragon slayer, Tony.
Yeah.
Yeah.
It's a sick name.
It does.
Yeah.
So when you hop on a Bronco, is that just to test yourself?
We just call them Bronx.
Yeah.
Bronx?
Yeah.
So when you hop on a Bronco.
You're going to have to take off your cowboy hat.
I know.
Keep saying poke and Bronco.
It's like coming off.
When you hop on a Bronc, is that like proving it to yourself?
Is that for the love of the game?
At this point in your career.
Yeah.
You're doing well with the videos.
It's just like reminding yourself that you can do it.
And,
there's so many moments like that
that we've not filmed.
You know, like I said on the last podcast,
like,
accusing us of doing things for the views
is like the most offensive comment that I get,
you know, because like when I get down in the shoot,
especially with like the history of my dad,
my dad died, he was a rodeo cowboy,
he died in the rodeo arena.
And like, so when I smell like freshly tilled up
rodeo arena dirt,
it's got this smell to it,
especially in a coliseum,
it just like gives me,
goosebumps and brings a tear to my eye. And so like crawling into the buck and shoot the last time I
did recently, I had to get out just because I was just so overwhelmed with like love and like I just
cried in the shoot. And it's just like, it's just this love of the game. And what I think it is is like
for a man, rodeo is at least a rough stock and I'm sure a little bit of the time of events is counterintuitive.
like we talked about earlier.
I think maybe there's a little shade.
I really don't know, but like it's counterintuitive.
Like when fear sets in,
your intuition wants to do this thing,
but the fundamentals are the opposite.
And for a man to have that fear
and then overcome it
and execute the fundamentals,
that's what I think is
it's like you're testing your manhood.
And matter of fact,
if he doesn't buck, you get a rewrite.
And like I was, that's, I was talking to a Navy SEAL.
He was like, I respect board riders because y'all face the fight every time.
You know, most of the time we go around the corner and a room is benign.
So I googled benign.
And he meant there's nobody.
There's not a fight there, you know?
They're ready for a fight.
But obviously the stakes for them, like, I'm not trying to compare us.
He was making the comparison.
But every time we crawl in the shoot, we're about to meet a fight.
And if we don't,
get a rewrite like oh here's a better fight yeah you're gonna get one yeah yeah like a like a
like a like a quarterback who you know whether he stays in the pocket or not you know and so um
that to me is a moment of just there's a glimpse in there where you get to decide am i going to be a man
today or am i going to not and that was why i wanted to do it 100% that's it dude and i just wanted
to see my limits and you were a man and test it and you were a man and you think you can do something
and then it's like okay well if you think you can do it then go
find out. And with just a few more weeks, months, a couple of years of executing the fundamentals,
you could do that. And same thing with you. You got to test that. Like there's a point where your
intuition is like, tells your feet, go back to that panel and climb over it. And you didn't. You
went towards the bull. And I think it's, you know, football players that there's all these moments
where we get to as men and even women, too, experience that test are.
ourselves and it's important to me.
That's healthy, right?
Tesla self boundaries cross that line,
just to prove to yourself if nothing else.
You know, within reason,
because like there's like some training you had to go through.
There's, you know, and there's also like we didn't,
we weren't going to put you on a bushwhacker level bull.
Yeah.
You know, like within reason.
Those first few bulls you got on for you to have actually gotten hurt,
it would need to be a freak accident.
Yeah.
But anyhow, like within reason, putting yourself in harm,
harm's way and then coming out of it unscathed is it's fun to do and i'm going to do it with or without a
camera i want to be on record in case something happens to me like i'm living my best life i just get to
film it yeah i love it so you mentioned you you grew up in the rodeo your dad was a cowboy did you
play any other sports yeah i played a uh quarterback in football and um loved it had a tough schedule a little 1a
school. We were not that good my senior year, but I really enjoyed throwing the ball.
Like I would not be like you guys have six. If I came on the team, I would be number seven as far as like ability with any. I don't sell yourself short. I love
watching basketball. Okay so much. But I am not like when they put me in my senior year like they cheered for me. I made a buzzer shot at half time once.
and they carried the whole, the stands cleared,
and they carried me off the court.
Because it was that special.
It was just so unfathomable that you could contribute to the basketball team.
It was three of my eight points that season.
Okay.
But I love to ask you your almost athlete moment,
but I think you just told me to me out.
Dude, these kids poured in and picked me up,
and we had.
Half time.
This is halftime?
We had, yeah.
You still had to come out on second half.
It's so good.
It's incredible.
That's how much we were winning.
I got put in in the first half.
You know what I mean?
But like we had, and we had a lot of talent on our team, you know, like, and so.
Well, high school?
I grew up with Memphis, Texas.
I grew up with this, with this Clarence Thomas.
And later I would find out why we called him Chief Justice.
But me and Clarence, I wore number eight and he wore number 22.
And I was going to be Troy and he was going to be Emmett.
Like, we just had all these similarities between Troy and Emmett, you know?
And so anyways, it never happened for me.
But I did get to interview Troy on my podcast, so that was cool.
But I never got to be an athlete.
It's rodeo season coming up this summer.
My hometown.
Never really ends for us.
Yeah, I guess so.
My hometown does a small little rodeo below your pay grade.
But for me, like watching the small town, Texas high school football,
just at its lowest base level and how beautiful it is.
Do you go around in the summer,
stop by some of these little small town Texas rodeos?
Oh, for sure.
Yeah, no, I love it.
Like, yeah, I know exactly what you're,
you know, it's neat to go to Houston and San Antonio and Cheyenne,
some of the big rodeos.
But yeah, if you go to, I'm trying to think stuff around here,
like, you know, Decatur and like there's some of those,
Denton has a good small town, like some of those.
White'sboro, yeah, that's an Ami Rodeo.
Those are super fun.
You can just feel the culture and the atmosphere and the vibe.
It's just like hometown America,
like just full of good people and you can smell the arena.
Yeah, I love it.
In terms of celebrity, you've worked with Cody Johnson,
Tyler, many.
Is there a dream one out there that you would love to see,
hop on a bull, coach him up a little bit?
Man, see somebody?
I haven't thought about that
because I do not like to encourage people to ride a bull.
I got to meet and be a bull.
I got to meet and be around Theo Vaughan a few times.
I feel like he would be funny behind a shoot.
Like all of his analogies.
Nate that was on y'all's podcast, Nate Bargatsy,
like he would be, it would be super cool to watch
really anybody that's like,
like you guys have had Tom Brady on
and like it would be neat to see his mindset carry over
to something like that.
You know, like people at the top of their game
I like to watch behind the shoots
because that's what it takes in bull riding too
it seems like it's just an adrenaline thing
you know like but it's not
there's there are fundamentals to it
and you have to execute them you have to practice them
you have to be a dedicated professional
you know there is the
whole cowboy side of it where you
just got to like let loose
but yeah those are something
really didn't want to get on a bowl
he's so incredibly health
conscious yeah yeah he said
his dad actually wanted him to be a bull rider and they went there was a bull ride in school that he was going to go to but they shut it down before he could in oklahoma
where he grew up in henrietta oklahoma but yeah he talked about like you know kind of growing up on a little ranch and he made the right call yeah i think yeah for sure
to say he made the right call yeah funny story i was at my best friend's house of the dudes know really well growing up it was high school and
the older brother of my best friend at dinner time told his mom that's that's that's that's where he wanted to go with it i want to be a bull rider
She bawled at the dinner table.
Yeah, he didn't get to, he didn't go through with it.
She didn't allow it.
But, yeah, it's pretty crazy just how, you know,
when somebody makes that decision, that's a life decision.
Yeah, I don't, one time my brother and I in college,
we were all rodeo on and he just kind of got away from it for a few weeks
and turned into a month or two.
And he was, you know, partying a little bit and sleeping in.
And I just entered him.
I was like, come on, man.
Let's get back in the, well, sure enough,
when something like that happens,
he drew the biggest bronc in the pen
and landed on top of his head,
like flew through the air
and skid it on top of his head.
And he had to take like a year off.
Thankfully, he came back and was like better than,
but I remember during that year,
like, I pray that's not his last bronk, you know.
But thinking back to like,
you can't push somebody to do something
that they could lose their life in.
They got to want to do that themselves.
Like, y'all couldn't have done that for the views.
No.
You know what I mean?
Like you had to want to do that.
For sure.
And so I don't, like if I had, like I'm not going to force an intern.
I'm not going to for, like there's plenty of times where we practice where interns, if they
ask me, I'll tell them like, yeah, you need to get on four more today.
But if they don't ask me, I don't, I don't volunteer that.
You encourage you don't require.
Safe to say.
I mean, I don't, technically I don't even encourage.
Like, I answer a question.
Like, I provide them the opportunity.
because rodeo is 1099.
Like this isn't a team sport.
Like you gotta want it.
You gotta show up.
You're self-employed.
You got to,
you are your own boss.
And so like,
I'm not gonna wake you up in the morning.
Like, I'm gonna provide you the opportunity.
Yeah.
But also on the flip side of that,
like, if you're not a dog,
like, I'll fire you.
Like, I don't, I don't,
there's that side of our job
or like, it's just like,
man, I just can't have,
like, somebody that's just not,
like, at least wants
to have a dog.
and it's so in the interview process
so like
do you have that dog in you?
Of course every 22 year
Oh yeah I got the dog
you know
and then you get them behind the shoots
and they're just like about to pee in their pants
you know
Netflix series
How to be a cowboy
Is that out right now on?
Yeah yeah it's still on Netflix yeah
it was fun
Yeah it's still there
How did that come about
and how cool is that
to see some of your stuff
on the big net?
It was a you know a production crew
came along like I think the showrunner
used to work with y'all
Josh Wade
Oh yeah Josh
Yeah yeah he was the showrunner on it
And they
Yeah I think Caitlin worked on that show too
Caitlin was on it
Had a lot of crossover
With the DP guys
But anyway they
It was fun
It wasn't structured the way
I would have structured it
But the moments that were in it
Were super real
You know the explosion
The buckoff's like
The Bull getting out
And us trying to catch him
Like all that was real
But anyhow it was fun
It was a brick in building the brand.
And some bricks are bigger than others, you know.
I love it, dude.
That's awesome.
I don't mind that, you know, like I saw y'all out here this morning with Fox and Friends,
how they do the whole.
All right, one more time.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That doesn't bother me.
Like I, and as I'm sure, it doesn't y'all either.
Like, that's what you got to be good at stuff like that.
But the production side of what we do doesn't bother me.
Because I get, it's a means to paying the bills.
And I still get to, like, do the rodeo side of things.
Yeah.
Sure.
The hair, man.
Got some luscious locks.
What's the secret there?
You leave in condition like tie?
You know, long hair don't care.
And so the secret is don't care.
Yeah, just let it happen.
Do you use soap, though?
Occasionally.
Okay, yeah.
Okay.
Your tire very similar.
Yeah.
Cowboys must just...
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, you're not a big soap guy.
Not a big soap guy.
I don't wear deodorant.
I'm like...
Really?
Yeah.
Not even a dude.
I'm a lot of people.
I need it.
But, again, I do believe that there are some people that don't.
Yeah.
Do you guys with, like, talking about the Netflix thing,
and little things like, do you guys feel distracted sometimes
and you'll try this or that?
And you're just like, let's just get back to YouTube.
Yeah, the foundation.
100%.
All the time.
Like, yeah, the last two years, I think we've done a lot of that.
Like, what are we trying to do that?
A lot of projects that we probably shouldn't have done.
But the tour, though, that's probably a big deal.
Tour's awesome.
Yeah, we love the tour.
That's also, like, for us,
that's one of the few times that we actually go.
Like, we don't do a bunch of meet and greets and stuff like that.
So that's like our chance to go.
out, get in front of our fans, see them face to face. The tour's fun. We enjoy that. I don't think
we would enjoy it if it was six months out of the year. And even doing it for a month and a half
takes away a lot of our ability to be able to put out content and stuff. Yeah, it's a catch 22.
But it's fun. It's great. I bet that first show. Yeah. Of the tour, you walk out and you're like,
oh, dang, all those views are real people. Yeah. Oh, for sure. Oh, yeah. Well, the very first
tour show we ever did. Like, you know, you sell, again, everything at that point had been a
like or a comment. It was all digital. All your feedback was just a thing on a screen.
Yeah. And so when we- Well, especially when the followers and views are all bought and paid for it.
You know, well, that helps too. So we show up and we're like, I don't know if anybody's actually
going to be in person at this show. And to walk out on stage with, I think that show was probably
only 7,000 people, something like that. But still, I mean, a big arena full of 7,000 people
all screaming and going nuts when you walk out on stage, like it was crazy.
Like, I was wild for us.
That's how I feel with my booth.
I go to, like, rodeos and I'll put a booth up there.
But it's, it's on like a, there'll be like nine people there.
And I feel, I feel like that.
Yeah, look at all these people.
Look at all these people.
It's crazy.
Yeah.
That, I can't imagine being on a stage like that.
Like, because sometimes people, when they hire me to do a show, they might,
some people just kind of overestimate my reach.
Yeah.
And they'll just think I can fill a stadium or something, you know, like,
within reason, like a rodeo.
arena. Oh, we get that all the time. Oh, you have 62 million subscribers? Oh, y'all can get a million people to show up easy.
Yeah, you get two million people to buy this product, no problem. Right. That's not how it works.
Yeah. Well, if you got 62 million and you can get half of them, you'll only need 10% of them.
To buy my... It's like, that's not how the math works, buddy. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Self-fulfillment, though, when somebody does recognize you, appreciates the content, does that do something for you?
Yeah, for us, like reading the YouTube comments, one thing, but to see it in person, see the kids light up in the face, it's really like that moment of
this is why we do it man oh for sure yeah yeah so and my i got a good friend that
ufc fighter seroni cowboy and he just he told me one time because we were in
Vegas and less of a rodeo crowd more of a ufc crowd and so he's getting bombarded and i'm taking
the picture for him and he was just like yeah man one day they won't want a picture yep and i was
just like oh yeah dang and i appreciated it i didn't necessarily need a reminder but it was just another
perspective i hadn't thought of yeah i think that's exactly how we try and
look at it. Everybody's like, man, we go out somewhere or whatever.
You're like, has that get annoying? Like, when you had to get the fifth or six
person come up and you're like, it's a part up? Like, when they're, if they're not coming
up and asking for a picture, then we don't have a job. Like, this isn't, this isn't going
well. Why we have you? You down to play a game? Always. You're the world's greatest
bull rider. Word. You're a cowboy. Tye's gotten on a bull. He's an outdoorsman.
Sparky's gotten in an arena with a bull. So, uh, we're going to test, do you know what's
inside of a bowl.
Okay.
You know, and where the cut of meat is.
So I'm going to, you know, I'm going to say a cut of meat.
You guys are going to look at a diagram and you're going to tell me where that cut of meat is.
Before we start this, I have to say, when I, the first time I made that you ain't no cowboy
video, it was like, I would never tell somebody that person, but I was like doing a tour of
my first gym pickup.
And I was like, if you don't have a picking string on your headache, correct, you ain't no
cowboy.
ran with it and now I go to booths and people come up to me and say that and secretly
it hurts my feelings so when I get all these answers wrong and people start
commenting that just know if you're trying to hurt my feelings you are succeeding
yeah look naming a cut of meat and getting on the back of one of them are completely
different so I don't think I'm gonna do well either do I on the night
dad was an act teacher and I did meat judging yeah you're gonna nail this dude I
it's gonna be crazy to all how bad I am
That's crazy.
That's where that was going.
So we're going to start off easy with the tri-tip.
Are we starting off easy?
Oh, look, guys, I'm going to go ahead and you guys are like,
does Garrett know all these?
I know zero of these answers.
I have a guess, and I'm just going off of tri-tip is not known
for the most, like, quality piece of meat.
Okay.
Still great.
So I went with three.
Three.
Seven.
Similar thinking here for y'all.
Yeah, because I think I know what three is.
I think I know what six is.
I wasn't sure about six.
seven and I don't know what a try tip
where it comes from. See I would put tri-tip
as a six because that's where the udders are.
I put it as a four which I really dislike
my answer. You're kind of in no man's
land. Four ain't it? I know it's not four.
There's no way. Talk to us Jared. Were we right?
So our tri-tip officially
is number five.
Really? How? Nobody hit on the
tri-tip. That's bogus.
Whoa. Next cut of meat
rib eye. One of the
most popular cut to meat boys.
My favorite food on this entire.
planet. Oh, really? Oh, my gosh. Over brisket? Over brisket. What is your, what are you talking about?
You just like a steak over brisket. I love a ribae over anything. What about like a beef tenderloin?
I look, yes. A beef tending? Am I not clear enough? To be honest with you, Dale, you came off as
vegetarian. Yeah. I thought you're vegetarian. Well, if you look at all my answers, people are going
to assume I'm vegetarian because I'm not going to get these very well. Ribai. Hey, can I get my diagram
Yeah. If I had a guess
Ribai, I'll guess first. I'm going to
say four. I went four
partly because I answered four for the try tip
and got it wrong, so I knew I had a chance
to get this one right. Ribbi four.
I'm going A. Ocho. Yeah.
Eight. That's a good slab right there.
What about you? I'm going
two. Yeah, it could be two.
Answer is number one.
What? Dang. That
doesn't make sense, though. Somebody
has to get one right, boys. We cannot go through
one right. Guys, I'm sorry. I was in
meat judging in high school. My dad would
is probably rolling over in his grade
right now. I'm guessing eight is brisket.
I don't even know if that's a cut, but...
No, it's not. Well, it's not number eight, I don't think.
Okay. I was thinking... The way it was shaped,
I was thinking, you know, because a ribile coming to roll,
and I was thinking like, oh, just right around...
Anyway.
Sertloin.
Oh, sirloin. This has got to be...
It's a leaner cut of meat. So...
I've got mine.
Liener, maybe up.
everyone has their answer
yep
two
four
I'm I'm
I did the the
the same
repeat answer
repeat answer
eight just because
we're gonna hit on one of these
surely not
all right
sirloin is number two
yeah baby
lean it
lean cut of meat
I thought that was the tenderloin
lean with it rock with it
sirloin baby
tinderloin
eight's got to be tenderloin
yeah a fillet
which is that the tinderloin
that's a tenderloin
is tenderloin
one of the things.
You have to use your skills.
A tenderloin is a flay. You've cut
the fillet tinderloin, right? Right.
Tenderline is not one of our answers.
Yeah, you're right. We're thinking
the same here. Less fatty.
Less fatty meat for the
people watching out of Texas.
Yeah, it's like a good cut of steak.
Very tender without fat. Yeah.
A sirloyne is tender with
if you're against animal fats, which I am not,
then you should go against. All right, Sparks, you're ready.
You don't body shame your animals?
Filet six spot?
That is certainly not correct.
What are we thinking, dude?
Yeah, I'm going with number eight.
I just in that area, one, eight and two.
Eight is the correct answer.
Yeah.
Finally.
Finally.
Here we go.
We're cooking now.
We're cooking now.
Tea bone.
See, this is where I'm a little confused with our diagram here.
Because a T-bone is actually made up of two different cuts.
Of rib eye.
Yeah.
And?
And?
Do you know?
New York strip.
Nope.
I thought it was a New York strip
and a tenderloin.
It is.
I thought it was a filet and a ribbi.
It's a filet in a New York strip.
Is it?
I don't know.
So it would be four.
No, we've already had four.
We already had four.
We already had four.
We didn't have four.
We didn't have four.
It's four.
It's got to be four.
All right, we're doing this together,
we're doing this together, Jared.
We're doing this together, Jared.
Five was your tri-tip.
I feel bad that I'm not more help to.
y'all like you thought I would be.
Five would have to be four. It's lucky number
four. Yeah, baby. It's not that low
though. So I think we're in a three-way
tie at this point. If you guys, if you guys
have known, there's only three
there's really only two guesses left, right?
Yeah. Well, I think I know
where those are. Yeah, go ahead.
The next one. Flank.
I think this one got to be in the bottom.
Surely. Yeah.
Fahitas. I've got
mine. I've got some fajitas.
Yep.
Yeah. And six is the answer, correct.
All right.
We only have two left.
Skirt.
Yeah, flanking from the six.
That's good.
I'm just going to tell you the last two, their skirt steak and their brisket.
And your last two numbers remaining are three and seven.
I knew I would get the number of three and the six for sure.
Skirt steak is correct.
You guys like skirt steak?
I don't know if I've ever tried it.
You don't?
Yeah, I don't mind it.
It's like, yeah, it's fajita meat.
Oh, okay.
Yeah.
So, I mean, flank and skirt kind of goes to say.
It's not, it's thin meat.
Yeah.
Like, you just.
Good taco meat.
And then brisket, boys.
We finish strong.
Look, guys, at least we all got brisket.
We're Texas.
We're known for our barbecue.
I can't believe you put a brisket over a ribba.
I actually like a beef tenderloin, I would say, probably the, or a T-bone.
A T-bone's good, but.
I just, this diagram, I'm doing some extra research here because a T-bone is not that low on a cow at number four.
Yeah, I'm going to agree.
Obviously, I don't know what.
You were thrown off by the 2D cow.
Okay.
So we have a three-way tie, so I'm just going to throw up.
about a tiebreaker here.
No table talk on this one.
Let's just see who can get it.
There are two blank spots on the cow,
one near the neck, one near the tail.
Which one is the chuck?
Is it head or tail?
Which one's the chuck?
Is it towards the front or the back?
Let's see it.
Tail?
It is the head.
Sparky drops one off.
I do remember that.
We have a two-way time between Tyler and Taylor and tail.
You little meat, Judge, are you?
Now it's between Tyler and Dale.
All right, so this is the sudden death.
Who is the greatest bull rider to walk the first.
Okay, here's for a tiebreaker.
Tomahawk.
It's one of the numbers on that cow.
Oh.
The old Tomahawk.
All right.
Wow.
They're just battling.
These are two titans just going at it.
You are both correct.
Yes, yeah, they're two titans.
It's connected to the rib.
Yeah, obviously.
That's what I was thinking that big old rib comes out with it.
What about the gordita crunch?
Or is it a cheesy gordita crunch?
Where's that coming from in the bull?
We are running out of cuts of meat here, boys.
Reminds me of the twins when they played rock favorite sisters the other day.
They got the same thing.
We could just crowned him the king.
Yeah, there you go.
They both ridden a bull.
They both know their cuts.
Yeah, kind of.
Kind of.
I think this one's going to be a time.
It's a tie.
It's a tie.
It's a tie.
Yeah, you don't know which one you're talking about around the bull.
Yeah, kind of, yeah, kind of.
They know their cuts kind of and they kind of wrote a bull.
Yeah, true of both of us.
Give it up for your champions of the Cowboys.
Yeah, maybe.
Thanks.
These two.
You know, if you can't start good, finish good.
That's what I always say.
What cut are you making for dinner tonight?
Man, I stopped at the Frisco Cafe.
Yeah.
I'm not trying to, don't want to.
The Depot?
The Depot?
Localized the place, but stopped at a diner and had a rib-on eggs this morning.
So, I don't know.
It's a good start to the day.
Yeah, isn't it?
The first go diner at the gas station?
It's not a gas station.
Oh, you, the first go diner right here off the tollway.
Yeah, yeah.
Yeah, it's a good spot.
Yeah, we heard you.
We heard you.
Hey, man, we were just trying to come up and trying to figure out some dinner.
Went to the diner, had a rib-eye and eggs this morning and so excited.
Yeah.
Slabs of meat-wise, though, cooked, medium rare.
Is that cool?
Medium rare.
It's the only way to have it.
All day, every day.
So, yeah.
I don't got a rant today, Sparks to you.
Why?
Do you, Dale?
Do you have anything?
Pressing?
Big soap.
I mean, whatever you want to hit on.
Yeah, no, I don't, big cheese I get mad at.
You do?
Yeah, just a little bit, because it's not even cheese.
They can't call it cheese, craft singles.
Wow.
No offense to craft, but then again, like I'm against, no.
You don't like it.
I want the real cheese.
You want cheddar.
That's basically my motivation is that I, like, pay my bills enough that I don't have to go back to something that you can't even legally call cheese.
But it's really good.
Like a grilled cheese with just two double craft singles on there.
Or you can get the, you know, they have the thick boys.
now like the bell eaters.
I don't know, man.
You put some real cheese on there.
Like Tillamook.
Yes, Tillamook, thank you.
You've seen all the wheels.
I've been trying to get a Tillamook sponsorship forever.
You've seen the reels.
Yeah, and also like organic,
not organic, raw milk.
Yeah, raw milk.
Yeah, big raw milk.
Unpasturized.
Yeah, for sure.
Golly, it's so sweet.
If you haven't had a bunch of sweets lately
and then you drink a glass of raw milk.
Man, I might be more of a cowboys.
You ever had it straight from the utter?
Oh, yeah.
If you haven't, then you ain't no cowboy.
That's right.
It's like getting it on tap.
Yeah.
Yeah.
What cheat meal are you into?
You do you cheat meals a lot?
Man, I love like some, like I love a dump cake.
I love a chocolate chip cookie.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And then pizza.
I hated pizza and then I started Carnivore.
And now if I cheat, like, I want some pizza.
Stuff crust guy?
Whatever.
Yeah.
More cheese so long as it's real cheese.
I think it is.
Simple life, you all live, man.
Simple life.
Yeah, I'm a simple fellow.
There's something to say about that.
You said you're the greatest cowman?
of all time, right?
That's crazy over Larry Allen, Emmett Smith.
There's a lot of good cowboys out there.
There's a lot of good cowboy.
You ain't no cowboy hoodie to the podcast with Troy.
And I think at first he thought, like, I was like, I made it for that podcast.
And he was kind of like eyeballing it and he said something about it.
But he was talking about like, yeah, I get, I was like, what's your, you know, autographs?
And he was like, yeah, they're all older guys.
And he was like acting annoyed.
And I had three cards in my pocket.
I was like, oh, yeah, that's the worst.
Hey, we all put these away.
That's great.
That's awesome, man.
That's my, you ain't a cowboy moment.
It looks like our time is up.
