Hello and welcome from Totalus Rankium, I am Jamie. And I'm Rob and we are jumping onto this feed. We are hijacking the feed to let you know that what's more we have been invited to speak at the Intelligent Speech Conference. Very exciting. It takes place in a couple of weeks on February the 8th where there are a whole host of speakers, many podcasters and historians speaking speaking about all sorts of stuff, but the theme this year is deception. Oooh. Yes, but I'm not deceiving you now.

It is the 8th of February that's happening. This is not a lie. Intelligent Speech will bring you the greatest and worst lies that have shaped history. It's an online conference that connects diverse and independent content creators with all the audiences. So what are we talking about? We are going to be covering the deception that's been made on us, as in the public. Why do we think pirates are like they are? How have we been deceived? Did they all have parrots on their shoulders? Did they have Peclex? Did they

bury their treasure? Why do they all have Bristol accents? Well, let's find out and let's see how much we've been deceived.
