Hey there, friends. Before we get into today's collection of subscriber stories, I wanted to give a shout-outs to somebody, specifically Sarah. If your name is Sarah, and you live in the Twin Cities, and your boyfriend of approximately six and a half years is named Eric and is currently deployed in Poland, he reached out to me and wanted me to shout you out.
So, just wanted to do that for him and for you.
Distance can be difficult, but he mentioned that you both listen to the podcast, so yeah.
Very sweet of him to ask.
I'll give him that.
And hopefully, Sarah, you can appreciate it.
Yeah.
That's all.
On to the subscriber stories, my friends.
Please enjoy.
Hey, Raven.
Congrats on a thousand episodes.
I'm glad to have found a channel that delivers great stories by a real person with a clear voice and easy tone, and not an AI voice.
never.
I strongly dislike AI voice, podcast, and shows.
I've never shared my story anywhere, though I've told a few close friends and the ex-boyfriend
I was with when it happened.
I'm not really sure what to label it, glitch, quantum immortality, something else.
Whatever it was, it really messed with my head for a long time, and even now, almost 17 years later,
If I think too much about it, I begin to spiral.
When I was 18, my parents had given me a plum-purple Ford Escort.
It was adorable.
The paint even glittered in the sun, and for an 18-year-old girl fresh out of high school, it was the dream.
Unfortunately, it needed a head gasket, but my boyfriend at the time had an uncle who owned a shop and gave us a discount.
The day before it was ready, we went and bought insurance for it.
technically under my boyfriend's name because I hadn't gotten my license yet.
I had a month to go until I could take the test,
and then did all the other adult tasks needed to get the car legal.
I was so excited.
The next evening we dropped by to get the car.
His uncle warned us that he had just come from town and the roads were really icy,
so we had to be careful.
We got the keys, and we discussed who should drive.
I had my permit, which meant I could drive with anyone over 21, which my boyfriend was.
But the insurance specifically said on the paper that I wasn't included in the coverage,
because my name wasn't on the title.
So we weren't sure if it was legal or not.
I was so excited to see my new, to-meek car, and I was young, so without much thought, I chose to drive.
His uncle shop was down a long dirt road, and before we got to the main,
road, my brain caught up with my impulsivity, and I changed my mind, pulling over to the side of
the dirt road and telling my boyfriend that we shouldn't risk it, that he should just drive.
So we switched.
We get to the main road, and the roads look great.
They're dry and clear, which is rare for a February evening.
We get about two and a half miles away when we come up to the area that I grew up in.
It was my grandmother's farm, where we lived for eight years before my dad bought his own house.
We passed her driveway, going up a hill.
The road is so full of tall hills.
It's actually called Hoke Road, which means high or tall in German.
We got to the mailbox at the top of the hill, which is exactly where my bus stop as a kid was,
and I reminded my boyfriend to look out for deer because people were always hitting.
them on the road when I was growing up. We clear the top of the hill, and we see a big pickup
truck across the entire road at the bottom of the hill, about 50 feet ahead, pulling a car out
of the ditch. Suddenly my boyfriend says, oh no. I look at him, and he's trying to pump the brakes
while also trying to turn the steering wheel. I realize we've hit ice. I yell his name and I grab his
leg while the truck gets closer and closer, and he desperately tries anything to prevent what we both
know is coming. It was one of those moments that felt like forever, but also felt like it only
lasted a split second. I would say in reality it was probably four or five seconds. Between
the short distance and the black ice, we had no chance of maneuvering out of the way, and the truck
had no time to move either.
They were, after all, illegally
towing a car out of a ditch between two hills
with no emergency or flashing lights
at 8 p.m. on a dark winter evening.
We slam into the side of the truck.
Fortunately, for them, directly into the bed
and not the driver's seat.
My shins hit the dash.
My phone goes flying out of my hands.
Next thing I know,
we're stopped in the middle of the road,
and someone is at my window asking us if we're hurt.
I look up, and I see that our car is now positioned directly across the road, taking up both
lanes with the truck next to us, the hood of our vehicle is practically touching to make
a V shape.
The car that he had the toe strap attached to is at the back of our vehicles turning that V
into a triangle shape, with my door on the passenger side facing the center.
As soon as I register that she's asking if we're hurt, I get a very sharp pain in my shins,
and I tell them I think I hurt my legs.
Like, thinking about it made my brain recognize the injury.
As soon as the words are out of my mouth, my boyfriend says,
Babe, run.
I look up in the direction of the hill that we just came barreling down and see headlights coming our way.
He jumps out of the car, and I try to do the same, but the door is jammed,
bent from the impact.
I kick it as hard as I can, get it open, and then glance behind me to see the headlights getting closer.
They're about halfway down the hill.
Once I'm out of the vehicle, I realize I'm stuck.
I'm trapped in the middle of all the vehicles with no clear path out and very little time to try and jump over the car in the back.
I just remember thinking, I'm dead.
I'm going to be squished between all the things.
these cars right in front of the farm that I grew up on.
I blink, and suddenly, I'm not on the road anymore.
I'm standing in the ditch, and snow up to my knees.
I look at the cars and see headlights and brake lights pass in front of the vehicles,
going into the ditch on the other side of the road where a forest is.
I'm so confused and in shock.
I barely even remember the next ten minutes.
From what I was told, there was a couple standing in their driveway right in front of the truck watching him try to pull the car out of the ditch and saw the crash.
That is who checked on us after the initial impact.
Everyone scrambled when the next vehicle appeared, a van, which didn't have enough traction to stop, but somehow found enough traction to turn into the ditch, going through the driveway, barely missing the bystanders as they ran, dodging, doesn't.
thousands of trees and coming safely to a stop.
I later found out that the van was carrying a father and five little girls, all under the age of six.
The youngest was just a newborn.
The baby slept through it all.
The truck driver was the husband of the woman whose car was in the ditch.
She'd had her own eight-year-old son with her.
In the end, everyone was shaken up, but okay.
My legs were sore once the adrenaline faded, but they didn't hurt anywhere near
as bad as that first throb of pain I felt.
I have numb spots on my shins from where they hit the dash, as well as a new birthmark
on my right shin, but no lasting damage.
My car was the only one totaled.
The truck was repaired a month later.
I got $500 from insurance and just had to junk it.
I still don't understand what happened.
Nobody was looking at me when I tried to run.
They were all running for their own lives, so they don't have any answers.
How did I get to the ditch?
In some other dimension or universe did the van make impact while I was trapped between the vehicles?
It's likely I wouldn't have been the only one hurt. The truck driver and possibly his wife and
son in the car could have been too, as well as the van full of young children.
I would have likely been the only one to die though, but there's no way to know for certain.
Did something intervene by not only moving me but allowing the van to turn so that none of us would be hurt or killed?
These questions haunted me for years.
They kept me up at night.
I avoided Hoke Road for a few years until one night I had no choice.
I was on the back of a motorcycle, and when I saw that we were going towards that road,
I told him that I didn't really want to and asked if there was a different way we could take.
Unfortunately, his house was directly on that road, so it was unavoidable.
I shook the entire time, refusing to look anywhere except the side as I held on for dear life,
until we passed the spot the accident was at, the spot between the two big hills, and nothing happened.
I let out a big breath and glanced ahead at the spenometer as we went up the second hill, which said 70.
At that moment, a deer ran right in front of us.
I mean, it was right there, inches away.
We barely missed it.
I swear I felt the back of a hoof hit the front tire,
which I thought was crazy,
until my friend later verified that he felt it too.
It was just a validation for me that I have no business being in that area,
and I haven't been on that road since.
I will begin this with some context.
The setting of this event is a mobile home that my dad bought new
when we three kids were in junior high in high school.
It has four bedrooms, two at each end of the home.
The kitchen and living room are in the center, separated by the kitchen bar.
One hallway leads out of the living room, giving way to a bedroom on the left,
another bedroom on the left, and it ends at the door to a bathroom.
So that's the layout where the event is.
takes place.
Many spooky and downright frightening things have occurred in this home, but this is the only
one that directly happened to me.
A lot happened to my little sister long before what happened to me occurred.
I graduated high school and moved out.
I got married and divorced.
The life of an itinerant was for me until I was about 25.
I met a man who lived a county away from where I grew up.
My dad had moved out of the mobile home not long after my sister started college, leaving the home empty.
So, a couple years later, when we found out I was pregnant, we got engaged and decided to live in my dad's mobile home.
During my pregnancy, several spooky things happened, but nothing as scary as what took place one night when our daughter was about eight months old.
I didn't like having a television in the master bedroom, but I did put one in the spare bedroom.
Michael, my daughter's father, wanted to watch a movie one night.
He was tired from work and was more than likely going to fall asleep, so I suggested watching
a movie in the spare room, so if he did fall asleep, he would already be in bed.
We tucked our girl in the middle and settled in for the night to some random movie.
Miraculously, he managed to stay awake until the end, but our daughter was out like a light.
He was on the outside of the bedroom closest to the door.
I was against the wall.
He rolled over with his back to us.
I was on my back, nowhere near sleepy.
And just as I was about to get out of bed to go smoke outside, I heard a loud, deep sound,
followed by another.
It sounded like someone was stomping heavily in the living room.
With each stomp, the stomping got faster and closer, faster and closer until it was racing
loudly and heavily down the hallway toward the spare bedroom.
Towards us.
Towards my baby.
I didn't hesitate.
I stood up in bed,
stepped over Michael's legs,
and nearly jumped off the bed in the middle of the room.
My next two steps took me to the bedroom door.
At this point, two things happened at the same time.
One, I flipped the switch by the door to turn on the bedroom light.
Two, whatever had been stomping was now running and it crashed into the bedroom door hard.
Though the bedroom door was shut, I was less than a foot away from the bathroom door,
and I could feel the vibrations of the running and slamming through the wall and floor.
With the light on and one hand on the knob, I looked back when Michael spoke.
Are you actually going out there, in a t-shirt and underwear with nothing but your hands?
No weapon?
He asked incredulously.
Yes, I answered quickly.
They aren't getting my baby.
Stay with her.
Michael, my six-foot, three-inch-tall fiancé, was scared.
I was scared, too, but pissed off more than anything at that moment.
Whatever was tearing down the hall and into the bathroom would have to go through me to get to my child.
And I was ready for a fight.
Looking ahead, I snatched the bedroom door open and stepped in.
into the hall in front of the swaying bathroom door.
The doorstopper on the bathroom wall
was still thrumming from the force of the door being slammed open.
It was the only sound now.
Literally only seconds had passed since I had jumped out of bed
and turned on the light.
I stopped the door moving with one hand
as I flicked on the bathroom light with the other.
My body tensed, ready to face
whoever had the gall to trespass and disturb my family.
I stood in the doorway blocking the only exit from the small bathroom.
There was nobody there.
I leapt to the bathtub and ripped back the shower curtain and nothing there.
I looked behind me, down the dark hall toward the living room.
The ambient light of the appliances and the outside lighting flittering through the windows revealed no silhouettes.
No movement. Nothing.
I ran down the hallway checking the deadbolt of the front door as I passed.
It was locked as it should be.
Michael was calling my name, but I ignored him, keeping my focus on finding the intruder.
I yanked the recliner forward.
Nobody there.
I rushed through the rest of the house, doubling back and rechecking doors and windows.
All locked and undisturbed.
I found nobody and nothing.
By this time, Michael had mustered up the courage to help look for any intruder.
Our baby was still asleep, snugly in the center of the bed.
He and I were both totally freaked out and confused.
We both heard someone loudly run down the hall and crash into the bathroom door.
I saw the bathroom door still swinging back and forth from the force of the crash.
I felt the vibrations of the stomping and the crashing.
We weren't hallucinating.
We weren't high and we weren't dreaming.
He had been on the verge of the verge of.
of sleep, but I had been wide awake. Our dog, Cricket, was on the front porch when we unlocked
the door and poked our heads outside. She was a great guard dog and would have alerted us to any
intruder long before they reached our house. She hadn't barked at all. Whatever had stormed
through the living room and down the hallway into the bathroom didn't come from outside the house.
It didn't get past Cricket. She missed nothing. I guess now was a good time to mention that we
lived in the woods of rural Mississippi.
Our closest neighbor was my aunt and her husband.
They lived across the road and up the hill.
Shouting distance, but with lots of yard and trees in between.
They had their own outside dog, but they were silent this night too.
The house searched and the yard briefly checked.
We were alone.
Whatever had been in our home wasn't human.
Michael said,
pack her diaper bag, pack or snack bag,
after I finished packing for us, we're leaving.
I asked him where we were going at midnight, and he answered with, to my dad's house.
His dad lived 45 minutes away.
I asked him if it was really necessary.
He told me that there was nothing and no one that could convince him to sleep under this roof again.
So, we packed up our baby and we left.
We crashed at his dad's the rest of the night.
When everyone woke up the next morning, we told his dad what had happened.
He suggested getting a priest and all that, jazz, but we never did.
We stayed at his house until Michael calmed down, and then we went back home a couple of days later.
My aunts took care of cricket while we were gone.
This wasn't the first time someone felt the need to flee the house in the middle of the night and left a pet behind.
My sister had a couple times before.
The events that she experienced, though, were way worse.
After that night, Michael refused to ever be home alone.
He would literally go anywhere to keep from being home by himself, even if it was going to be just an hour.
We lived there for three more years before we moved out.
Smaller, less intense things happened, but nothing like what happened that night.
Oddly, we never really spoke about that night.
I guess he was trying to repress it, and I didn't want to remind him.
To this day, I still wonder what it had been.
I had always thought it was probably a poltergeist or something, especially considering all the things that happened to my sister long before, but now that I've learned about glitches and alternate dimensions, I wonder if it might have been something like that.
Just recently, I told my brother about that night, and he jokingly suggested that it could have been an invisible alien, but I could tell he didn't take any of it seriously.
Michael and I split up when our daughter was almost four, and he has since died from a drug overdose.
We didn't have many civil conversations, but one of our last was about that night.
Our daughter wanted to know the scariest thing that ever happened to me, so I told her about it.
She didn't believe me, so we called her dad.
Michael told her the story from his perspective, which lined up perfectly to mine.
She laughed at him for being such a scaredy cat, but she finally believed us.
She asked me what I was thinking going after something that was probably bigger than me.
I'm barely five feet two inches tall.
And I told her the plain truth.
There was nothing I wouldn't do to protect my baby.
Hello again, Raven.
In honor of your one thousandth episode, I decided to share another one of my paranormal experiences.
This happened 30 years ago, but it's as clear in my mind as if it was yesterday.
My boyfriend at the time and I were heading home from a day of shopping and visiting when we started arguing about something.
That's the only part that I don't remember.
It was around 2 in the morning and we had another 20 minutes to drive.
So he pulled over at a boat launch we frequented so we could argue without interruptions.
He started getting really P-Oed, so he got out of my samurai and went down to the water to throw rocks.
About a minute later, the water in the middle of the lake started to bubble.
There was a full moon, so I could see everything very well.
I sat up in my seat to get a better view.
The bubbling soon turned into a geyser, like old faithful, and up out of that geyser shot a huge black.
ball. It was about a football field's length up in the sky when it started to change shape.
It completely unfurled and started flapping wings and screeching. It looked like a giant raven.
No, just kidding. This thing was huge, though. It was like an elephant-sized bat with a long tail
and a wingspan of at least 100 feet. It circled a couple of times until it spotted my boyfriend.
All of a sudden, it let out this hellacious screech and dive-bombed down toward him.
He turned around and dashed for the car, screaming like a little girl.
I flung the door open just in time for him to jump in and slam it shut.
At exactly the same time, we heard and felt this thing's claws scraped the top of my car.
The whole vehicle shook violently.
It let go, flew off, and we got out of there.
That thing was trying to and almost did scoop him up with its talents.
When the internet became available, I did some research and found some interesting information.
From what I've read, this has been seen many times.
It's a relative of Nessie, and they call it the Shalon Dragon from Lake Shalon in eastern Washington.
A few people have gone missing, and the dragon is blamed by some.
It's like Nessie with wings, and it can fly or try to.
travel through underground freshwater streams from lake to lake.
There have been sightings at many Pacific Northwest lakes over the years.
It was one of the scariest things I have ever witnessed, and I've seen a lot.
I will send you more of my paranormal experiences soon, but thank you so much for what you do for us,
and congratulations on your 1,000th episode.
Have a great day, Raven.
Hey, Raven, I've got another one for you.
This happened some 20 years ago.
I'm a 50-something-year-old woman who's seen a lot of paranormal activity.
One night, a friend of mine, Jeff, and I were out and about,
and decided to go visit a mutual friend of ours, Lori Ann.
She lived out in the woods in a trailer on a piece of property that was vacated,
due to the previous owners being raided and busted for cooking drugs.
Side note, we were not a few.
with them.
So, we pull in, and I opened the gate to allow us onto the property and drive through.
I closed the gate, and we drive up to her trailer.
It was dark, there were no lights on, but I went up and knocked anyways.
There was a note on the door saying she was at another mutual friend's house.
We were sitting there while I wrote a note saying that we'd stopped by, when all of a sudden
I yelled, lock your doors and turn your lights on.
While yelling, I was locking my door and searching for my flashlight.
One second after I yelled, something hit the truck broadside and almost knocked it over on its side.
Jeff was freaking out.
He asked me what was going on and how I knew that was going to happen.
He asked me what it was, and I told him I didn't know.
I just said, go, go, go!
We got out to the gate when I realized it was shut.
So I jumped out of the truck as fast as I could, ran to the gate, opened it, and ran back to the truck.
All the while, I heard whatever that was running across the field at us.
I couldn't see anything, but by the sound of it, it was huge.
I jumped into the truck and shut my door just in time.
I didn't have to tell Jeff to go this time.
He ripped out of there like his life depended on it.
and it may have.
Again, he was freaking out and demanding to know what that was.
I told him I didn't know.
While sitting at our friend's house, on my side of the truck,
there was nothing but a dense row of trees.
And whatever hit us was very big.
It had to have had a running start,
but I don't know how that was possible.
By this time, the freak show was over and we were safe.
I asked him if he remembered when we were.
we first met, that I had told him about my paranormal experiences. He replied, yes. So I said,
and I told you that if you ever hung with me long enough, we were apt to witness something.
Well, that was your something. I don't know how I knew it was coming. My mouth just opened,
and that's what came out. Lock your door and turn your lights on.
I don't know if this had anything to do with what had gone on at the property previously,
but I wouldn't doubt it.
I have several more stories that I will send in when I can find the time to write them out.
But remember, Raven, you rock.
And we all love what you do.
Thank you.
Hey, Raven Team.
I hope you're enjoying your weekend.
I've been a long-time listener, but this is my first time submitting.
I've finally decided to type this up and send it in with some encouragement from my husband.
I don't know if any of you or your listeners know about a mid-sized city in Ohio named Dayton,
but that's where the story takes place.
The location is important to the story, and I'm not worried about anonymity because the story is from 15 years ago,
when I myself was about 15 years old.
For some background, I had a pretty rough home life and tried to not be home as much as possible.
The place I spent most of my time was with my first.
friend E and her family. They were my escape.
Another important thing to know is that I made bad decisions that, many times, were brought on with
the help of the devil's lettuce. E, on the other hand, just joined ROTC school and stayed sober,
always. Anyway, her parents were never home through the week. Her stepdad worked out of state
and mom worked open to close at her place of work, so E and I had the opportunity to,
pretty much do whatever we wanted, as long as we were home by 10.
Dayton has not been a good city since way before I was born,
especially for two dumb teenage girls who felt they were grown enough and invincible.
To be teens again.
We and our friends liked to hang out at our old middle school after hours because, well, who knows?
But that's where we went to just be goofy kids.
This particular night we went to see if any of our other pals were up to anything and the park was empty,
so we sat on the swings and just talked about nothing.
I enjoyed a smoke while E went on about the boys at her school.
We went to different high schools.
But as 9.30 p.m. rolled around, we started heading back.
Her house was about a 20-minute walk away, and we always took the side streets.
We did this so often that everything else was just background.
noise and blurred as we went.
We were about five blocks from her house when we heard a cat hissing and growling.
Then we looked at each other and said, cat fight, and chuckled.
It wasn't uncommon for the stray cats to have territorial fights or to fight over food,
so there was nothing to worry about, we thought.
As we approached the end of the block, the intersecting street was more like an alley with
no sidewalks after the corner, and the road narrowed, and it of course only had one street light
about half a block up. And just like in horror movie fashion, we looked right to the light and
there was a figure right under it. Now, I was pretty buzzed, so it took a moment for my eyes to focus,
but even then it's like my brain really couldn't put together what I was seeing. To me,
it looked like, and I know this will sound crazy,
A dwarf pony, with the skin color of a human in no tail.
I don't know why that's what my brain did with the image.
E gasped out a what-the-f, but didn't get to finish before this person looked over at us.
This was a person, a man, bent over on his hands and feet, eating an alive cat, or trying to.
When his attention turned, the poor cat ran off, thank goodness, but,
We didn't see how far it got because as soon as it snapped in our brains, we took off running.
We ran probably faster than we ever had, going over the busiest streets without looking and straight to her house.
I was snapped out of my high and was stone-cold sober.
Her neighbor was sitting outside on her driveway and saw us coming in hot and started asking us what was wrong.
In our hysteria, we explained and she called the police.
The neighbor sat with us through talking with them, and after they left, still sat with us until E's mom got home around 11.
Neither her mom nor the police actually believed us, and why would they?
The story does not sound real, but we knew it, and that's what mattered, right?
Well, it doesn't end there.
This next part, I have only shared with two other people.
Not even E.
knows this because it makes the whole thing even more unbelievable and worse.
But that night, when we laid down to sleep, I could not seem to rest.
E. was asleep in her bed, and I was lying on my makeshift bed near the window just coming down from the events.
It was around 2 a.m., and I heard a tapping on the window.
How her house was set up, her window led out to the roof of their Florida room.
If you knew her backyard well enough, you knew how to climb up and down easily.
Something we did often enough over the years, but there were no trees, no shutters,
nothing that would tap that window.
I was terrified.
The window was locked and covered, but I just lied there shaking, preparing for the worst.
The tapping came again and then the sound of someone trying to open the window before silence.
Needless to say, I did not sleep.
The next morning, her mom mentioned how she thought she had heard a tapping on her window as well,
but when she looked, brave as she was and still is to this day,
there was nothing there, so she laughed it off and said that our story must have gotten to her imagination.
Now, for whatever that man had wrong with him, Dayton does have a huge drug problem.
At this time, bath salts were being banned because of people using them to get high,
but there were many, many things in rotation around.
Years later, a friend of mine suggested possibly a walker,
but that just doesn't seem realistic in the area that we live.
There's no woods or anything around, and it's much too busy.
a place, I think. I believe it was a junkie just having a really bad trip. I've experienced many
scary things in my lifetime, supernatural and otherwise, but this was the creepiest thing I have ever
lived through. Thank you so much for all that you do, and keep up the great work to get us through our days.
It's an absolute pleasure, my friend. Hi, Raven. I've enjoyed a lot of your stories, and you mentioned
my remote control glitch a while back.
Oh, and I'm newly subscribed to you on YouTube.
Thank you.
I did say that I would get you a paranormal story to use, so here goes.
My parents had a house built on an old farmland.
A long time ago, and not long after we moved in, I experienced things.
It's one of those, is this place haunted or am I haunted things, now that I think of it.
There's the usual. I think I hear something, but rationalize it. I even slept with blackout
blinds to make sure I couldn't see anything if it was there, but would flip to a small light left
on, depending on how I felt. I knew for a long time something wasn't right, even mentioned ghosts.
The response from my siblings and parents was, we built this house, who could have died here.
I tried explaining theories that a kid could come up with when the internet was still dial-up,
and it loaded so slow and the modems sounded like a spainer going through a coffee blender.
So out of a family of five, only I knew or admitted something was off.
My best friend, let's call him Chris, believed me though.
He was, is a great friend, and usually when my parents were out late or,
overnight, he'd be the one who I asked to stay over.
So one of those nights comes, and everything seems fine, honestly, but we head to bed and put my
dogs in my parents' room after letting them relieve themselves.
Then Chris and I go upstairs to my room.
We're just chatting before bed when from downstairs I hear the noise of cupboards slamming in
the kitchen, and chairs being pulled out and moved.
I genuinely thought we were being burgled.
So I called my parents.
They had a shared mobile phone back at this time.
And we explained, I think we're being burgled.
And then joked, or we really are haunted.
My mother thinks I'm overreacting.
She says that she and my dad will be home in 15 minutes.
But now I'm convinced that we are being burgled.
I reach for my baseball bat and then curse because I tidied up.
and it was in the garage.
I find a pair of scissors.
They barely stuck out an inch from my hand,
but I had to protect my house and my dogs.
With Chris insisting he'd come right behind me,
I run down the first and larger set of stairs,
getting to the landing before a much smaller set of stairs,
and then it's through the door,
and I'm face-to-face with the intruder.
I run down voice-breaking,
even though I'm trying to sound intimidating.
I look up, and Chris has stayed and not followed me at all.
But anyways, as I run and get to the landing, everything stops.
No noise, just nothing.
I go down the last stairs, swing the door to the kitchen, and nothing and no one is there.
The cupboards, though, almost all of them are partially or fully open.
The chairs that we tucked into the kitchen table,
were all out from the table and some were even backwards.
My friend and I were partially happy that we were right, but mostly scared.
I fixed the cupboards and chairs and my parents come home,
and we try to explain frantically, full of fear and adrenaline about what had happened.
But my parents are tired. They don't see anything out of place, and they dismiss us.
Now, I love my parents a lot. They've been a good.
great support network for me, but
my friend and I explained in detail what happened, and we were just
dismissed. We reluctantly went back to our room,
with a light on, and when our adrenaline finally ran out,
we both fell asleep.
There's more where this comes from,
at least three more from that house and other things that appear to follow
me to this day. Oh, and to clear up the usual questions,
no drinking, no drugs, and nothing else like that.
I can't explain it.
I don't think I ever will, but, like I said, there is so much more.
I'll send them to you again soon.
Please do.
Take care, and thank you for reading my ramblings.
I appreciate you.
I appreciate you as well.
Hi, Raven.
I'm a big fan of your videos.
Keep up the good work.
It was peak 2020, so COVID time, online school, and whatnot.
I was a teenager then, and like most guys, I had spent most of my days gaming with the boys.
One time we pulled an all-nighter, and this is where my story actually begins.
So, of course, morning came and our online classes started, so I had to push through them.
After classes, I went to sleep, and I woke up without being able to move my body.
But it wasn't a shocker because I'd had this happen in the past, and nothing ever happened in this.
but I woke up drenched in sweat.
I thought it was normal because it was spring and that day was pretty hot, so normally I changed my t-shirt and went back to sleep.
I didn't expect that sleep paralysis would come again.
The same thing happening again.
After that, I don't know why I wanted to go back to sleep, but I still did.
I wasn't able to do it, though.
I was lying down in my bed for hours.
I know that because I had this old watch that always did a buzzing sound whenever a new hour would come.
I would check my phone here and there, hoping that I could maybe find some cozy video to fall asleep to, but that didn't happen.
So, naturally, at 2 a.m., I finally decided to try sleeping again.
This is where the fun began.
Like I said, I was a teenager, and I always locked my room door.
especially in the night.
So I heard the clock ringing 3 a.m.
A few minutes later, I heard someone coming to my room,
which wasn't weird because the restroom is next to my room,
so I naturally thought that maybe my brother or my parents were going to the restroom.
But no, the footsteps stopped in front of my door.
I was already sweating like a maniac because I thought my parents heard that I was awake,
and I thought that I would get a lecture because I wasn't.
sleeping. But then I remember that I locked my room, so I was chill. But no, I heard the door
opening. Quickly I switched sides so that my back would face the door, and I heard the doors
opening slightly. So, my thought was that maybe I just forgot to lock the door, and my mother
was checking if I was sleeping. But then it started walking toward me. My heart was pounding.
I was sweating, shaking, everything.
Hearing this thing coming closer, and then it touched me.
It was just like a finger on my back, and I immediately fell asleep like I was knocked off or something.
Morning came, and I was still in disbelief of what had happened.
First thing I noticed, the doors were locked.
It's impossible to unlock it from the other side and then lock it again.
So I was scared and running scenarios.
in my head of what had happened that night.
I'm still in shock.
When I opened my room and went to the restroom,
I saw something else that terrified me.
Both of my arms and legs were covered in bruises.
So I was freaking out like crazy and I told my mom what happened,
but she had no clue what could have done this to me.
And, Raven, that's my story.
If you read this and find this interesting,
I would be glad to share some more.
I have lots of them.
Please do.
I'd love for you to do so.
Hi, Raven.
I love your podcast.
I've had tons of experiences in my lifetime.
The one below is the most active, as I saw and heard the ghost in my house.
If you're curious, you can look up the house.
I grew up in a small town full of old houses and not much else.
Me and my boyfriend moved into this two-bedroom house built in 1924 on a small town.
a corner lot. I've looked it up before to see if I could match my ghost with past owners.
The layout was interesting. You could go in a full circle through the whole house. When you walk in
the front door, you're in the living room. From the living room, you can enter either the bedroom
on the left or the kitchen on the right. You could walk into the bedroom. It connects with a door
to the next bedroom. This was how you got to the only bathroom. From the bathroom, you could exit the
the other side through a door onto the enclosed tiny porch with old blue turf-like carpet.
From there you could exit to the left to the backyard.
Or you could keep going straight and enter through another door that has a big window taking
up the top half of the door, into the kitchen, with wall-to-wall cabinets on one side of
the kitchen, along with the sink and wall-to-the-wall counters.
The cupboards were just old cupboards with old curved silver handles.
The kitchen was huge.
It was just as big a cross as it was wide.
This is where a lot of the activity was.
From there, if you kept walking straight, you would go through a doorway back into the living room.
Several things happened in this house.
I would wake up in the middle of the night and hear what sounded like an old woman crying.
It's a sound that I'll never forget, ever.
I heard it several times.
I heard doors slamming.
It would wake me up at night.
My boyfriend worked nights at an aluminum plant across the river,
so I was home alone at night a lot.
I would tell him the things that would happen and what I would feel,
and he would just laugh at me and not take it seriously.
I was doing dishes one day,
looking out the window to the side yard.
I kept it really nice.
Anyway, I felt a presence behind me so strong that I froze.
and then I ran as fast as I could to the couch and didn't leave the couch until he got home hours later.
I immediately made him go to the bathroom with me since I held it in that whole time.
He said that I was just being a sissy.
He would even tell his family about it and they would all laugh.
It was all in good fun, no hurt feelings, but it just sucked that they didn't believe me.
Well, one day he came home from work and told me.
me that the night before he had woken up from a dead sleep and saw an old woman in a light blue
mu-moo standing in the corner of our bedroom looking at him. He was really scared. He never made fun of
me again. Since the house was so old it didn't have a washer and dryer in the house,
we had to go out the back door and go down some creepy concrete steps to a really small
basement area where you could see the entire underneath of the house, although it was super dark
under there. After I had my daughter, my best friend Amy came to help me out, and she went down
to put the clothes in the dryer for me. About a minute later, she comes screaming into the house
apologizing that she could never help with my laundry again. While she was down there, the door
slammed shut while she was doing the clothes. She had a hard time getting it open, realizing that
the little hook latch had been put into the loop.
I always felt scared down there but figured it was because it was just a creepy basement.
Fast forward about two years, and we're moving out of the state.
The entire house is packed into the U-Haul outside, and it's our last night in the house.
Me and my daughter, who was two at the time, were alone waiting for my boyfriend to get back with the pizza.
She was standing in the doorway to the bedroom, arms outreached, point.
pointing and said,
Who's that?
I looked up, and of course, nobody is there.
And she repeated it.
Who's that?
Who's he?
My heart about jumped out of my throat.
I grabbed my daughter and ran out of the house,
turning around to close the door behind us,
when I saw his face clear as day in the window of the door,
looking directly back at me.
It was an old man.
no expression really just looking.
Now, nothing bad ever happened, so I like to think that he was seeing us off.
I think about the ghosts in that house from time to time and wonder if the new residents have the same experiences.
Hello, Raven.
I've only been listening to you for about a week now.
Well, this is one of the most intense experiences I've ever had.
It was January of 1994, and it was my friend's birthday that I have known my whole life, so we had a party for him.
Well, while I was sitting in his room on the edge of his bed, as he sat in a kitchen table chair that had the back of the chair against the wall,
and the bedroom door was wide open, flush against the wall.
My friend was doing nitrous oxide balloons, and he had gone into a seizure, and slid right out of the chair,
to the floor. As soon as he hit the floor, this orange glowing orb the size of a basketball came
from behind the door and shot into the side of his body. He sat straight up off the floor and into the
chair sitting in the lotus position, or cross-legged, and his face was making all these odd movements,
like something was under his skin. Then all of a sudden my friend's right eye started to glow that same orange,
and it looked directly at me.
It was frightened because it noticed that I had just seen everything that had happened,
and immediately I was in a paralysis state.
I couldn't even talk.
All I wanted to say was, we won't hurt you.
But as soon as it put me in that paralysis state,
it shot back out of the side of my friend and back behind the bedroom door
that was flush with the wall.
All of a sudden, I could see what looked like a green, glowing,
praying mantis within the side of the door, and it looked scared, twitching, and such.
Then, as it was fading away, so was my paralysis, and I was able to get out,
We won't hurt you.
As it disappeared, it said through telepathy, not to tell anyone, and that it was gone.
Years later, I was watching the History Channel, and sure enough, they had a show of police chasing a UFO
on the exact same day in January of 1994 over Liberty, Ohio.
It was the same day as my buddy's birthday.
And no, I wasn't doing nitrous oxide or any other chemicals.
This was a full contact experience.
My friend has no recollection of it happening to him,
and it's odd that you don't hear more stories about grays using people like meat suits.
It's scary, and 100%...
true. Hey Raven, I love your podcast, and I hope you enjoy this wild story about a pretty awful day that became an amazing day. No lie. This story takes a bit of setup, so here we go. This story is, as I said, not a lie. In 2003, my husband and I, and four kids, lived in an 1870s house in Arlington, Massachusetts, two blocks from Louisa May Alton.
Codd's publisher, Asa Gray. She, you may recall, wrote Little Women. She rode right past our house
back in the day to get that book published. The house was a charming two-story farmhouse built for a
farmhand. I joked with my husband that we were moving up in the world. The husband was part of the
IT boom in the 90s in Boston and was always off traveling and hobnobbing with internet boommies
planning the next stage of the internet.
Andrew was specifically in the mobile phone world, working at Nokia.
I remember him saying,
Hun, imagine a man is in trouble with his wife,
and on the way to work his cell phone knows where he's driving,
and knows that flowers are on sale at this particular place,
and he can get a dozen roses for $10, back then.
Then, and this is the best part,
the phone asks the man,
and would you like to buy the roses, we can have them ready for you when you get home.
Isn't that great, he says.
I said it sounded creepy.
I was busy homeschooling four kids plus a German exchange student going to high school.
On this crazy day, I got a call from the school that she had just sprained her ankle, playing volleyball.
I picked her up at Arlington High School and brought her to our doctor.
There were other events going on that day, which were helping me to lose my sanity.
The six-month-old baby that we adopted from Guatemala was colicky, so we were dealing with a cranky baby.
Our little Havany's dog had just been hit by a car, and I think her left back leg wasn't quite working.
My oldest son had injured himself outside, so we had to take him to the same doctor for the second time that day.
Yeah, the doctor twice.
I couldn't even get the dog to the vet since I was busy with the humans in my household.
The husband was cavorting around Boston with a Spanish business associate.
He'd won some global business thing with the WEF or George Soros.
Ah well, sometimes we don't know stuff.
Matthias was delightful and promised to make us traditional paella.
I was to go get and brown some chicken and get the mussels and other seafood and saffron rice and other yummy ingredients.
and my washer or my dryer were on the blink.
I forget which one it was at the moment, probably the washer.
Now, this was all before good internet's and helpful graphical user interfaces and easy coding,
so we had this little chintzy boxes to fill in at the Maytag website to schedule a repair person.
These were not the easy fields and forms that we have today for online ordering.
I had this teeny checkbox I had to click on for a time.
I probably clicked on an afternoon time, but I don't recall.
I got an email confirming this, so that was good at least.
I was about to lose my ever-loving mind that day.
It was all too much, too many injured kids, other children to care for, and a puppy whose leg wasn't quite working.
I could only give her a Benadryl to quiet her and calm her down.
Also, the husband, who was somewhat passive-aggressive at the time, had allegedly mistakenly mowed down my strawberries, which were planted and even rows.
My blueberry bushes and my spring bulbs that were coming up, claiming he didn't know. He thought they were weeds.
And I was disturbed about that, too.
But I managed to pick up the chicken and the seafood.
My son had his leg up, the exchange student had her leg up, the baby was resting, and, and, and, and, you know, and the food.
had her leg up, the baby was resting, and my other son was playing as Game Boy, I'm sure.
My other daughter was playing with her toys in her room.
Then the Maytag guy showed up.
I saw him park his truck down the street a bit behind some of our bushes so as to be out of the way of busy traffic.
That part of the road was part of a dead-end street.
He walks in the house and frankly he's huge and gorgeous, at least six-four and a clean blue shirt and pants.
Mind you, he had no tools, no point-of-sale terminals, and nothing else.
Just nothing in his hands.
His name tag said, Michael.
I kid you not.
He leans in the doorway to my small kitchen and chats about the washer and dryer,
and I say, hey, how are you going to repair anything without tools?
To which he says, oh, wherever I am, things just seem to work.
I say in a tired and probably snarky tone,
Oh, really?
I'd had a day and was in no mood for shenanigans.
Well, let's go check out the washer and dryer, I said.
We head down to the basement.
He looks at both machines and says,
Oh, they'll be fine now.
Let's start them up and see.
So I did.
And they worked.
We went upstairs,
and he looked in the kitchen at my electric skillet we had gotten for our wedding and said,
I wouldn't use that, and not that outlet either.
get that outlet checked out.
I would cook your meal on the stove tonight.
I'd just throw out that skillet because it's going to cause a problem.
Uh, okay.
Wasn't he just here for the Maytag stuff?
Then he asked to see the rest of the house.
So gobsmacked, I follow him and we'd tromp over the rest of the house.
He says, I'd place a carbon monoxide detector here, upstairs, and then downstairs over here.
He fixes to leave and insist that I owe him nothing.
He walks by our dog, drugged out of her little bed, and says,
She'll be fine now. She'll be walking soon.
I hadn't even mentioned that she was injured.
He walks up to our walk toward the street and then to his van, and as he does,
he looks down at the one remaining tulip that had not been mowed.
This was a red beauty with pointy petals and said,
Huh, we love this.
Then he drives off.
Of course, I call Matak to talk about this guy, and you know, of course, what they said.
They never sent anyone.
The kids and the dog were all fine and happy by evening.
We had excellent paella, and our house didn't blow up.
This was probably one of the most challenging days as a parents ever.
But I think Source sent a helper, knowing...
I was going nuts that day.
And our house may not have been safe, but who knew?
I would like to start out by saying that this story has references to the Holocaust,
so viewer discretion is advised, and number two, I'm not good at punctuation.
But without further ado, here's my story.
Back when I was in 10th grade, I would make terribly insensitive jokes with my friends.
I have, since learned my lesson because of the experience that I had.
had. One day I was in gym class and the teacher told us to get into groups of three because we would be
walking around or having a free day because it was 80 degrees outside. This is important for later in my
story. So I decided to partner with my two friends in the class and we decided that we would walk
around and tell jokes and chat. So when the teacher dismissed us to do our thing, we got together and
started walking around the football field, talking and joking around about history.
One of my friends was learning about the Holocaust, so since we were really great friends and we
were dumb and had no censor for jokes, I told a joke about the Holocaust.
That's when the air got cold and the sky and weather changed from 80 degrees and sunny to a
freezing cold and snowy day. I should mention that I live in the U.S., but my surroundings
changed. All I could see was snow and barbed wire and what I presumed was my family. But all I could hear
was screaming and gunshots, and a number on my arm, and the last thing I remember before getting
snapped back into reality, is hearing, run, you can make it. And then I heard a loud bang,
and everything went black. Then I snapped back into reality, and I was back on the football field
still talking with my friends.
One of them asked why I stopped telling the joke.
I tell them my joke wasn't very good, so we decided to talk about something else.
One thing that I forgot to mention is that I do have a scar where the number would have been placed,
and I have no prior experiences like this or after, and no medical conditions aside from seizures.
If anyone has any idea on what happened, please let me know.
And thank you, Raven.
I am of Eastern European descent.
When I was a child, I lived with my grandparents.
My grandmother had a flower patch near the house just by the entrance to the home.
I was around six or seven when this happened.
We didn't have a bathroom in the home.
Living in a village that was a very common thing at that time.
But we had another room in the house, which we would use as the kitchen and for us to wash ourselves.
But to get to it, you have to walk out from the home to walk to the other room.
There were no doors through the walls.
It wasn't far, just five yards or meters away.
Every evening after eating and washing ourselves, my grandmother would carry me and my brother on her back to the entrance of the home to go to the bedroom.
She didn't want us to get our feet dirty after we had just washed ourselves.
One evening, as my grandmother carried me on her back, I saw a fairy.
Yes, a fairy.
It was flying just over her flower patch.
At the time, I didn't know what it was.
Living in Eastern Europe, we only had two TV channels, and I had never even heard of fairies.
Those channels always had the most boring TV shows, politics, sports, and theater.
What I can say is that it looked at it looked.
is that it looked like Tinkerbell with Dragonfly wings.
It was about four inches or ten centimeters in height,
but the main difference from the Tinkerbell fairy depiction
is that this one was made of pure light.
But not like the light from a lamp that illuminates a room.
It was more like the glow-in-the-dark toys kind of light.
The whole body and wings were just pure light.
I couldn't see any clothes or facial features,
As I saw it, I tried to stretch my arm and grab it, but it just kept flying just out of reach,
like it was toying with me.
And it wasn't flying away fast, just gently, so it would remain just out of reach.
Then it started flying upwards and flew over the house and away.
The weird thing is, I didn't tell my grandmother.
She didn't see it, because it was slightly behind her back,
and I still don't know why I didn't tell.
her. But I think it's because I didn't know what it was. I know that people say that it must have
just been a firefly, and I can tell you that it was not. We didn't have fireflies, and it was really
looking like a tiny human with wings that was made of light. I never told this story to anyone until I became an
adult. Because I thought that people might think I was crazy. Nowadays, I don't really care what people think.
because you can't make people accept what they have not experienced for themselves.
Even then, they will try to not admit it.
I did forget to mention that I do not have any hallucinations or mental health issues.
Also, I'm not stupid.
I'm no genius, but I have an IQ of 130 and have a decent basic understanding about most topics.
I'm not bragging, just had to put it out there,
because there are actually more mysterious things that have happened in my life.
life. Let's move a bit forward in time. To when I saw my first UFO. I was 18 years old,
and I was with a few friends. We were heading back from a bar. The time was around 2 to 3 in the
morning. This was the time before smartphones. The street in the village was very dark because
they would turn off the lights after midnight. As we were walking, we noticed a bright star in the
sky, but then we saw that it was slowly moving from our right towards our left, and it was moving
at a gentle pace, from our point of view, but could have been at a high speed, since we couldn't
tell how high up it was. Then it stopped and started moving in the opposite direction. As it was
moving, it was getting tinier. I forgot to mention that it was moving in a straight line both ways.
It flew straight towards a star in the sky.
It was just as bright as the UFO when we first saw it,
and when it aligned with the star, we didn't see it anymore.
Now, while I write this, I just realized the star might not have been a star.
The UFO might have just entered another UFO.
This was the first time that I saw a UFO.
The second time, this time I wasn't living in Eastern Europe anymore.
I was living in a northern European country.
I was 20 years old.
It was around 5 p.m. and I was walking with a friend.
We were going home from the gym, and as I looked up,
I see a bright star move from right to left in the sky.
This encounter was very brief, and my friend didn't see it.
The third time, it was still the same Nordic country.
I was 32 years old and was sitting on the balcony.
It was getting to be evening time.
And I look and I saw a ball of light zipping around.
It was maybe the size of a basketball, and it was like 50 meters away from me and about 10 meters off the ground.
I was looking at it, almost hypnotized, trying to figure out what I was seeing.
It was most definitely not a drone.
I've seen many drones, and this one had no other features except being a ball of light.
It flew around fairly fast and then out of view between some buildings.
The next day, around the same time, the same light ball appears again.
It flies around and then out of view.
I was almost thinking to call the cops and report it, but then I stopped myself because I had no feeling to go through the whole process.
My last UFO encounter, this time I was 35 and living in an Asian country.
I was at a lake where there were a lot of people around.
It had just gotten dark.
I sat down on a stair facing the lake and light up a cigarette,
and as I'm going to blow the smoke out, I look up at the dark sky.
There is a really bright star shining in the sky.
This was the brightest star that I've ever seen.
It wasn't moving in any direction, but it was very rapidly getting smaller.
Like when something is,
traveling away from you. Then it disappeared. I don't know how long it was in the sky before I
looked to see it, but the weird thing is nobody else saw it. Because when I first saw it,
I tried to get the attention to it by pointing to the sky. Since I didn't know the local language,
I couldn't say to the people to look. All my UFO stories happen during the summertime,
I guess because I tend to be more outside.
Now, the God part.
I first need to say that I'm not religious, and I follow no religion.
But I do believe in God, so.
I was roaming YouTube.
I have a curious mind, and I like to learn about different topics.
I came across people claiming to communicate with higher realms and beings through meditation.
I'm usually very skeptical, not that it can't be true,
but more in the sense that I don't trust people,
and I want indisputable proof.
One night when I went to bed,
I decided that, what the heck, I could give it a try.
I didn't want to talk to spirits.
I wanted to try and see if it was possible to talk to God.
I really wasn't optimistic in that happening,
so I lied down in bed and closed my eyes.
I'm too lazy to do any kind of meditation position or humming.
I just emptied my mind.
Until no other thoughts were present.
Just a blank darkness.
As I reached that stage, I asked a question in my mind.
God, I know that you're called by many names, but what should I call you?
All of a sudden, two words appeared.
They were in bold letters.
I think they were golden or fiery, and it spelled out,
I am.
I said hi.
I know, silly me.
I was acting very casual.
Then I asked,
God, or I am,
how did you come into existence?
This has been my biggest mystery ever,
even though I knew that there must be a God
I wanted to know how they came into existence.
I can say that I'm not disappointed.
This is what was shown to me,
visuals only in no sound.
God is all at once, past, present future.
It's all within God.
What I saw was like a stormy sphere, where everything is happening at once.
The universe and all of us are not an outside creation of him.
We are within God.
Then he showed me the darkness, the beginning,
and out of darkness a bright light flash erupted.
God then came into existence, but here's the freaky part.
God was there planting the seed, his energy to birth God.
I know, it broke my mind when I was seeing that, but since time doesn't exist for God, he's there making sure his existence, which means that he wills himself into being.
My brain became mush at that point. I didn't ask anything more because it was just so much to take in.
The next day I wake up, and I'm not really sure what to make of it.
I was wondering if I just hallucinated all of it, but I decided to at least see if I could.
could find any information online.
So, I went on Google and searched.
God's name, I am.
That's when it gave me the answer that God has called himself, I am, several times through
the scriptures.
Now, here's the thing.
I've never read the scriptures, and I never knew any of this.
This is the only proof to myself that I must have been communicating with God.
Now, I'm still not religious, because I don't think that religion tells us the truth about God.
For me, religion has created a God that is lesser than us humans.
P.S., I have no interest in starting any religion or to be seen as special, but I do wonder
why I experience things that others don't.
I've had other minor occurrences like sun halos and moon halos, and just add, I do know
how satellites and meteors look.
I'm fairly interested when it comes to all things science, but I can't explain any of the UFOs as anything else.
Sorry for this being multiple stories, but I know that if I don't write all of them down now, I'll never do it again.
Hello, Raven, I hope you're doing well.
I haven't submitted a story in a while, so I figured I would send in one of my stories from one of my past lives.
So, for starters, in this lifetime I was adopted.
The couple who adopted me were involved in my past life, so I'd like to ask for forgiveness if I refer to them as mom and dad, instead of Kathy and Leonard in some occasions.
Thank you for understanding.
In April of 2024, I left Illinois, the state where I had lived for the majority of my life and moved to Texas.
The transition was rough and unplanned.
although it was needed.
In all honesty, I'm still adjusting.
I've always felt drawn to Texas,
although I couldn't piece it together at the time.
There was always someone or something
recommending me to visit Texas.
It wasn't the Buckees, the food, or the H-E-B,
the Texas version of Hy-V,
although those are great.
I believe that my past life happened in Texas
or possibly New Mexico,
in the 1950s or 60s onward.
Here's where I'll actually explain the memories.
I recall being a middle-aged woman in a semi-nice neighborhood in a dry town in either Texas or New Mexico.
I was married to a man that was in the armed forces, although I don't particularly recall which branch he was in.
All I recall is he didn't think highly of those in the U.S. Air Force.
He wasn't the nicest man, and he had a very muchest man.
and he had a problem with substance abuse.
Although, thankfully for me, during most of our marriage,
he was away doing whatever his branch of the military required of him.
There was a nice man across the street from me
who helped me take care of the house and things when my husband was away.
We quickly became close,
and as you may assume,
my love and affection-deprived 1950s-60s housewife, self,
developed feelings for him.
Although I knew that I couldn't and I shouldn't, because what would the town folk think of me if I had an affair?
No, I absolutely couldn't unless something happened to my husband.
Then perhaps something would happen.
A couple of years had passed with my husband coming home for a few days, weeks, or months sporadically.
Eventually, he was deployed to help with the war in Vietnam.
The kind man across the street continued to help me with things around the house,
although eventually he met someone.
They had a child, but they didn't last long.
One day, I received notice that my husband had been killed in duty, making me a widow.
I grieved for a while, the kind man across the street offering me a shoulder to cry on in a listening ear.
We talked about what we thought the future would be like, and we spoke about what we thought the year 2000 would be like.
His company kept me sane.
Eventually, we grew closer and planned to marry.
We did so, and I became pregnant with his child.
We moved in together, and I took care of his other daughter as if she was my own.
He helped me list my old house for sale, and it was quickly sold.
We impatiently awaited our new neighbors.
Our new neighbors were named Leonard and Kathy.
They had a young child named Jennifer, who I heard they had adopted.
I quickly became close to her.
with Kathy who told me about her ambitions of being a school teacher, and she proudly announced
that she had graduated from a university with a master's degree.
She explained that her husband, Leonard, was in the U.S. Air Force.
I made a joke about him being lazy because of how my ex-husband had conditioned me,
although the humor seemed to fly right over her head.
My new husband's daughter attempted to become friends with Jennifer, although Jennifer wasn't the nicest
to her at school.
This bothered me, so I attempted to communicate with Kathy and Leonard about their daughter's behavior.
They seemed oblivious, and they also denied that she had such behavioral issues.
I attempted to communicate my concerns a few more times until I realized it was a lost cause.
They lived by us for quite a few years, long enough to adopt another child named Karen before moving to California.
I noticed that I wasn't feeling well, and my husband noticed that.
this as well. I was quickly becoming sick, but I refused to die without a fight. My fight was long and
painful. I didn't want to leave my new, nice husband behind, so I made a promise to him on my
dying bed that I would find him and love him no matter who or where he was. I remember passing away.
I waited for my husband to pass while in spirit so we could be together again and make our plans for the
next life. Eventually, he joined me in the afterlife, and I mentioned to him how I wanted to come back
as Leonard and Kathy's child. He seemed unsure and concerned about that. He knew more than I did at the time.
Eventually, I convinced him to agree to let me be their child as long as he could find me when it got to
be too much for me. Now that brings us to this lifetime. I live in Texas again. My adoptive parents' names are
Leonard and Kathy.
My nice husband for my past life
was absolutely right to be concerned
about my selection of parents.
I plan to go to the areas
where my soul is pulling me to
to see if the neighborhood looks
similar to how it does in my memories.
Remind me to listen to his concerns next time
I have to choose my parents
during the reincarnation process.
Thank you for reading my
extremely long and detailed past life story.
I got really into writing
it, so apologies if it's a little long.
No problem, Andy.
Thank you for submitting it.
