Hello everybody, I wanted to say hi and say yay to our first ASMR, International ASMR Day, which is today on April 9th, 2012.
We're going to celebrate it the first time.
In today's video, I prepared a few different, most common triggers, I'd say, that most common triggers, I'd say, that most, most,
popular in our community so far and I hope you will enjoy this video for the first part
of the video I have some notes prepared here because of the difficulty of some words
so I'm gonna be referring to them so today we're here to celebrate ASMR the feeling that
many of us in this community feel and experience which stands for autonomous sensory
meridian response and I'm sorry if I mispronounce anything by bored is a bit dirty
you don't see that far okay this wonderful feeling also can be described as head
tingles for brain orgasms it is a pleasant often intense tingling sensation that
starts on top our head and travels down our neck and our spine and
down our limbs many times.
Sometimes it can be accompanied with good bumps.
It is a distinctly non-sexual feeling.
And there are two types of SMRs.
A term, ASMR.
It is a person who experiences SMR.
So type E is when an experienceer usually has a
external triggers which are achieved by specific thought patterns unique to that individual.
So, to explain it easier is when type A, SMR is when a person can actually trigger his SMR himself.
Um, you can induce the trigger SMR maybe by such thing as meditation.
Then there's a type B.
which is when experiencers triggered involuntarily by an external trigger via one or more senses
and may not involve any specific thought patterns associated with the tingling, with the triggering events.
That was hard. So basically type B is a person who cannot experience,
who cannot trigger his own
single scenes off.
He always needs somebody to induce them for you.
For example, the viewer, if you're watching this video right now
and you're waiting for SMR to happen, you are at ABB.
There are some common and most basic external triggers
that are known so far.
That's exposure to slow, extended and you're not.
unique speech patterns, then viewing educational and instructive videos, also enjoying a piece
of art of music, watching another person complete a task in a diligent attentive manner,
and a close personal attention from another person. So two other phenomena,
which are many times either related to SMR, or
or mistaken for them or somehow linked to SMI.
I'll write them down view.
The first one is a phenomenal called Frizon, from its own French word.
It is described as a brief moment of excitement, thrill, or a shiver.
It is obviously not a completely same thing as SMR, but it's sort of close to it.
If you interested you, welcome to research it a lot of.
but usually it's just to explain as brief excitement follows with the shiver and
another term that is also associated with SMR is synesthesia I hope I pronounce it
right to write down name to anesthesia now linked to SMR it's known for it being a part of
SMR in some level.
And SMR can be a type of synesthesia actually in some cases, so it is known for that.
I will have a brief explanation for anesthesia which is very vague as well.
It's the production of a sense impression relating to one sense or part of the body
by stimulation over another sense or part of the body.
So, you're welcome to do more research about that as well and see if it's something that could actually be similar to your SMR, to your personal one.
There are some terms such as chills, tingles, brain orgasms, which all mean tingles, basically.
There are some terms as an inducer, which is a person who works as a vessel for your SMR, which is me.
Also, there can be a trigger immunity that is a user cost by overexposure to SMR videos or SMR experience.
So I would suggest you take it easy and don't get overwhelmed with SMR videos, so you won't get...
trigger immunity.
You can actually build up a sort of a tolerance level to certain things that trigger you, so be careful.
Once again, I want to say thank you so much for watching, and I hope you enjoy the rest of the video.
