Starting point is 00:00:03 Hello, thank you so much for having me in your beautiful home again. Today we'll talk to you about different ways that you can use different techniques to create a more luxurious looking, more expensive home design. Okay? So I'll be following some of my written notes here to make sure that I don't miss anything. Using my tablet, I'll show you a few examples as we go. We'll go through these magazines, some of the latest things on a home design. And maybe we can... interesting details or just can see similar designs.
Starting point is 00:01:17 So, that you will see in a lot of luxury and high-end spaces. Sometimes you will see a very nice furniture, such as well, just this couch here in the rug and it is very nice because he can play off of that quite easily with almost any other colors. So a lot of times we want to invest into big pieces of furniture and get them of nice quality to make sure that they will last us for a very long time but then we can dress them up in any way that we'd like and then as for color we want to add it strategically in a very subtle way usually it's recommended to use one shade I'm sorry a color that you pick a color that you would like to be your accent color even if it's a combination of colors and then
Starting point is 00:02:43 you would instead of using that one color everywhere you would get shades of that color. Okay, so here's a good example of blues. So it's not just one sheet textures and other colors here. Okay? It's here. Do you see similar shades? Yes. See lots of yellows, orangey kind of mustard tones. They go from very light, almost yellow to deep. That is how we spurs up the space with it. So you're in Neutral usually are creams off whites Grays, tobes, navy, black, and some shades of browns as well. Okay, those are going to be timeless. You can really dress it up and down over time.
Starting point is 00:04:05 Next one is the common one to use. So things that are made of natural substances with talking stone, wood, usually the man-made can to look dated quicker versus the real thing. So you will see, especially starting this year, you'll see a lot more wood tones. With natural fabrics, suit house materials. See again lots more wood. And it's really simply because last year was quite overwhelming. inside their house. I hope you know what I'm talking.
Starting point is 00:05:28 There are a lot of people they were looking for this cozy feel. So lots of natural materials. It's going to be quite popular. Even the rugs in some area. Wooden furniture and true cotton and linen sheets. And of course living things such as plants. Beautiful. Go to the woods and everything.
Starting point is 00:06:24 Castors and men made materials. It's especially materials that a fake look of some things such as fake marital. They're easier to even upkeep, always restain them and re-forth. I hope you get. So try to use fabrics and finishes of naturales for luxurious timeless. So next one is quite important as well. And it's you don't have to follow a minimalist lifestyle to basically learn how to take away.
Starting point is 00:07:52 So you have last example. Placement of items. Sinting goes for bath. The bedroom, though I'll show you and just like a few of them. This one is my favorite one. Like if I could I would leave. Lots of lines in contrast. First of all, the lighting is done quite nicely.
Starting point is 00:09:16 We'll talk about the... But what do you see? You see a lot of negative space. Okay? Negative space is what we want, more materials from here, but it is the clutter that's out there. We don't always need every corner to be filled up. We don't always need every shelf to be filled to with different things. I'm tired of the really good fit pulls it all up and luxurious.
Starting point is 00:13:37 One-two paints instead of art, I find sometimes a good big mirror is better than an art piece of the room brings in a lot of extra natural light. There's a good example tool tones. A wooden mirror is just such an eye-opener. It adds so much more space to the room. Okay. Larger art pieces always will look more gallery-like, which means usually especially goes for plants.
Starting point is 00:14:49 Create space, bouquets. Larger burst of color in your space as well. In this room too, so you see a good huge potted plane. Lots of wooden elements here. Very neutral-toned furnishings. Beautiful room and of course tall gardens too. But not least, it's use light to contrast to your space. That light positioning plays a role in how you see and how you experience a space.
Starting point is 00:16:30 You can create shadows. I can even change. The three lights that we use, warm light in bedrooms and living rooms for intimate ambience, white, oriented spaces, inspiration. And you can actually see the trends that are present, Thanks to the add-dance, it's a good thing. Let's see, this one's definitely a modern, more traditional, cozy. With all, just as I was noting, everywhere as you may note, virtually all of the decorations are pretty heavy,
Starting point is 00:24:08 easiness, quite bright with some easy ones like...
