Starting point is 00:00:00 All of the food we eat and much of the clothing we wear comes from plants and animals that are raised on farms. Farms are different in type, in size, and even in name. Welcome to Barn Talk. What happens at the barn stays in the barn, but not today. We're going to let it all out for you guys. Today is going to be a Barn Talk hot topics episode, a lot of great stuff or maybe some bad stuff going on in the country and in the world. And we're going to talk about it today, give you our honest opinions on it. But before we do, you guys know the drill. If you get any value from the show,

One of the biggest sales that we have all year, excluding Black Friday. We're only going to do two major store-wide sales a year. So if you've ever thought about buying Farmer Grade or if you have bought Farmer Grade in the past, this is probably one of the best times to do it. And it's grill on season. So can't beat that. This isn't like golf balls or fish and tackle or cordless tire inflators. I mean, if you eat, you really need farmer grade. We've built a product that there's just, there's nobody out there that doesn't need this.
Starting point is 00:02:58 You especially need it now. Vegans would argue they don't need it. Well, you see, that's the problem. They don't even realize how badly they need it. Yeah. I mean, their mental decline, you know, they don't understand. They don't quite get it. They don't get it.
Starting point is 00:03:14 Yeah. And we don't have a Patreon. We like to say this a lot. Dad, he invented the... I coined the phrase. You coined the phrase. There you go. That's what I was looking for.
Starting point is 00:03:22 You coined the phrase of Metrion. We got a Metrion, not a Patreon. We ain't going to give you, you know, t-shirts at the front of the saying on the front's just going to fall off it or a bumper sticker that's going to come off of your car. We're going to give you meat. And when you guys support Farmergrade, you're supporting this show because we want to continue to upgrade the studio. We want to continue to upgrade our equipment. We actually are shooting on a new audio recorder today. Brand new.
Starting point is 00:03:48 Brand spanking new that is going to give us better quality and make our lives easier. So, yeah. Really? Support Farmer Grade. You're supporting the show in a big way. When you think about it, when you support us here, what you're doing, it's like your funding. It's almost charity. I mean, I'm almost a charitable organization.
Starting point is 00:04:09 It's like adult daycare. The time that you help employ me here is less time that I can get into mischief. So, you know, give till it hurts and then give a little more. Get yourself a stake. Go to pharma grade.com. How you like that? Oh, I think we are done talking about Farmergrade for the day. We need to move on.
Starting point is 00:04:29 Let's get to the market. There we go. I like it. Ha, the market update today, courtesy of our good friends. at Contara, Conteraagag.com, if you want to know more about what those guys are up to.
Starting point is 00:04:41 Corn for May, 438, December corn 440. Locally 433. I think it's actually 435 because the market was up to since the last time I looked. Or 441 Cedar Rapids.
Starting point is 00:04:58 Beans, beans got freaking hammered yesterday. I don't know exactly what it was that sent them, I guess. Bean planning is at a record rate. Weather's been perfect for getting planning in around the countryside. We've been done for two weeks,
Starting point is 00:05:16 and the trade thought that we were going to get more bean acres because planting went so well. And I don't really know how that works because all the corn is planted, so I don't know anybody switching acres. But it doesn't matter. May beans, 1041. November 1060 1039 at ADM
Starting point is 00:05:42 and 1060 or sorry 1059 at Quincy Bean meal for May 291 a ton wheat for May 527 Hogs $91 July hogs $102.50 Woohoo! Maybe they're going to up my contract. Probably not.
Starting point is 00:06:01 Cattle for April 215 and feeder cattle $301. If I had a feedlot to fill right now, I don't know what I'd be doing. I don't know. I'd make sure that I had somebody that was hedging stuff, right,
Starting point is 00:06:19 because I'd be scared to death on that deal. Crude oil, $63. S&P 500 was up 12 points. I threw in this just because we talked a little bit about AI the other day. This is really interesting to me. Google 166 bucks, but their search, so Google search dropped, their volume dropped in April for the first time ever, ever.
Starting point is 00:06:48 And the reason for that that they gave was because more people are using, is it Gemini? Gemini, Chat, CheapT, and Grok. Grok. more people are using AI to search and that is lowering the volume of people that are using, just typing it in the search bar. And that is real interesting.
Starting point is 00:07:15 If you want to hear a really good breakdown of that, listen to the All-N podcast, because they go through the value proposition of how once the volume of search drops at Google, then you can, somebody's going to figure out how to value what each percentage of drop is worth and at that point they're trying to fight the fight of can the AI model generate enough income to replace what they're given up on search and there's some question of whether or not they actually can create
Starting point is 00:07:48 enough value for that so doesn't google own jemini yeah they do but yeah the ad revenue associated with Google AdWords and all that. You see you don't have that. Yeah. You think they'll bring that to AI? Well, they'll try to, but it's just they haven't done it yet. And how they can incorporate it to where they can hold on to that revenue. And here's the other thing.
Starting point is 00:08:10 They don't have, they own search. I mean, what is it? 99%? 98% of search is done through Google. When you consider YouTube as part of that because they own that also, they're not going to own 99% of AI because there's already too much competition. So their best case scenario, say you own 40% of that,
Starting point is 00:08:34 well, 40% of that is not worth anywhere near what they're getting today out of their search. Yeah, true. And so that's got people kind of crap in their pants a little bit about what is Google overvalued and where's the value going? I'm going to go off topic here for a second. It's about AI.
Starting point is 00:08:52 but if any of you've ever seen the show Black Mirror, it's all about human. It's about future and it's about technology merging with humans and it kind of having like a screwed up story about how each episode's a different story and concept of how technology is one with humans or is working with humans. And they make you feel a different way.
Starting point is 00:09:15 But if you've never seen it, highly recommend. But there's one episode in there where this woman, I think she gets in a car accident or something and she's like brain dead but then there's this there's this company that's able to turn her brain back on and it's like an AI plant and uh she her brain is literally working because of this thing that's in her in her brain uh but like halfway through like there's a catch with them turning signing this on and saving her life and putting this in her brain she starts she starts saying ads oh my gosh and she'll start saying ads out of no way
Starting point is 00:09:52 and just like reading her she'll just her brain will shut off and she'll go into ad mode and start reading ads and that like that's like the catch of choosing saving her life saving her life yeah and i was just like that when you talked about a i getting integrated with ads i instantly got went to my mind but yeah i i hope i mean there would definitely be ads on chat gbt or grot yeah you know it's coming because everybody runs ads now on everything but um we need less ads not more yeah less ads for sure 100% uh bitcoin 103 000 it's been it peaked and then it dropped a little bit but it didn't break back below 100,000 and 103 000 so uh Tesla 346 dollars so if you're all the haters uh sorry tim waltz you didn't have much effect on the Tesla stock Tesla has been up big recently um people
Starting point is 00:10:46 have moved past where they are as far as uh sales of their regular car line and everybody is pretty much speculating on when and how the rollout of Robotaxi goes. And I think that's what's driving the stock now. But it's been on a terror of late. Gold, 3193, silver 30 bucks, 30-year treasuries, 4.96, 10 years at 4.52. that was a long and in-depth market update courtesy of our good friends at Contera Ag. If you want to learn more about what they can do for your operation, contact them at contaraag.com.
Starting point is 00:11:34 Nice. Yeah, Tesla, it's so funny. It's like everybody's been, you know, blowing them up and setting them on fire. And I wonder how many liberals bought a Tesla, but now can't get out. You know, they have a Tesla. and they hate Elon, but they're, they're going to hold on to their Tesla. It's just so funny how the narrative, like,
Starting point is 00:11:54 is completely changed on. Everybody was pro Tesla that was on the left, but now it's like the devil. And, like, there's probably some liberals that bought a Tesla, and their friends now probably are like, they're the running joke. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:11 It's just crazy. Stupid, but it's crazy. Well, and they, they are, I mean, you've heard me go on. I haven't gone on a Tesla rant quite a while, but where they're positioned, sorry, I can't make my mouth work right today, where they are positioned as a company,
Starting point is 00:12:34 I mean, they're kind of like right at the bull's eye of all of the forces that are moving as far as AI, robotaxy um uh autonomous driving and then robots
Starting point is 00:12:55 and they are going to be a force to be reckoned with um no matter what and and the car sales the car sales i feel like you know when we look back 10 years from now uh auto sales will be a very small percentage of what they do and then throw in their SpaceX you know there's still a lot of speculation that at some point X, which is Twitter,
Starting point is 00:13:22 Tesla, and SpaceX, all merging together to form one company. Because both of those, SpaceX at least, is still private, and it's a juggernaut. So, I don't know. I don't know what's going to happen. I don't think it's that
Starting point is 00:13:40 out of the realm of possibility, because, I mean, think about Apple, you know, when they came out with the iPhone, that was like their big moment, but, I mean, Apple has become so much more. And I don't know if iPhone sales are the thing that is driving the most revenue for them now, or if it's the Apple TV subscription, or it's the all the apps in the app store and Apple Music. And I mean, they have literally, they're dominating. And it's not because they're just selling the hardware anymore. They're selling everything else on your phone. They're selling entertainment. They're selling music. Yeah. It's like, and then you got to.
Starting point is 00:14:16 all the hardware too with the, you know, with the MacBooks and the desktop computers and the iPhones and the iPads. But it's like, I don't, I'd be curious. I don't know, I don't know that. I'd like to know, you know, what does make, what, what makes Apple the most money now. I think it's still the phones, but that, the phones are dropping off pretty fast. And they are seriously behind when it comes to AI. Like, think about this. Siri was like the first kind of AI and she sucked. She's always kind of sucked. And she still sucks.
Starting point is 00:14:49 She's never been able to make it better. You would think that they were far enough down the road that their AI would be impressive, but they've never been able to get over the hump. All of that says. Especially if them phones are listening to you. Because, I mean, she should be collecting all the data in the world. Exactly. Because, I mean, I don't know what this percentage of that is, but most people have an iPhone.
Starting point is 00:15:13 Yeah. In the United States. Yeah. Yeah. I'll give you an interesting. I don't think we've talked about this, but I read a really interesting article yesterday because Clay actually brought this up to me,
Starting point is 00:15:29 and I think he read about it maybe. But Apple is actually sitting at, they're at a really interesting spot because the one person or the one company, that could completely upend not only phones but AI2 is meta and the reason is because they are putting all their eggs in the basket of the glasses the wearable glasses and they kind of suck right now so the battery life's not very good and they the integration isn't very good but when you think about the possibility,
Starting point is 00:16:19 if you could get really good AI in a wearable product like glasses that actually would allow you to just leave your phone, so in other words, you know, it's your, like it's your Jarvis. Like you can video call off your phone, you can receive calls through the glasses. Jesus, it's going to be ready player one.
Starting point is 00:16:42 Well, exactly right. But think about the disruption of that. If you can do that, like, you could, you could screw the phone market. And everybody's like, nobody ever thought that we'd get away from these phones? Here's the thing, though. Well, everybody, it's like, what are that? Who's the guess that we had on that talked about the time watch in your pocket? Nobody wanted to make the change.
Starting point is 00:17:09 Oh, yeah. To an actual watch on your wrist because everybody loved something to fiddle with in their pocket. And they liked the pocket watch. Yeah. So they wanted to keep the pocket watch and they didn't really adapt to the wearable watch on your wrist. I think that was Jake, wasn't it? Yeah. I think it was Jake.
Starting point is 00:17:22 Yeah. And that transition to a watch that you wear on your wrist versus a pocket watch was a hard one. And it wasn't very fast because of that. Right. How many people do you think will actually want to wear glasses? I don't know. I just think it's an interesting. They got to make glasses look pretty fucking kick ass.
Starting point is 00:17:45 everybody to start wearing them. Because some people, you know, I look like a deweeb if I had glasses. I think the, I think the Rayban Waifer is the best pair of glasses ever made. I guess sunglasses is another thing. Yep. True classic. Yep. But yeah, no, that's an interesting thought for sure.
Starting point is 00:18:01 And yeah, World AI is a scary thing. But I, uh, I have, I talk to a guy every single month that, you know, knows a lot of, knows a lot of successful guys and, and what's going on. on and kind of the realm of business and what people are talking about. And he's a kind of a, he's a social media marketing guy, like great at building brand, all that. And he just told me Sawyer, he's like, you got to, number one thing you need to be doing in your free time is you need to be looking into AI and how you can implement it in your business. And he said, these AI agents, you got to be, you got to be figuring out these AI agents because he's like, there's so much shit.
Starting point is 00:18:44 your mundane every single day life and in business that there's tasks that you don't need to do that this AI agent will do for you. And he's like, I'm right there with you. Like I, when I hear people say that, I'm like, eh, I don't want to do that. I don't want to do that. But he's like, I'm hearing that from every single person that you got to get on it. If you're going to, if you're going to, if you're going to try to get ahead, you got to be on, you got to know what's coming with AI. You've got to be within the know of it. So I know we've gotten two episodes in a row talking about AI, but I mean, it is what it is. It's here. Well, and I think I think I should just, I'd be remiss for not sharing that. So that conversation that we had, I was talking to my brother,
Starting point is 00:19:32 my older brother, and you would be like, you know, he's 60. So I mean, you don't think about, Well, you don't think about me being very techy, but you know, you'd think about him being even less techy. However, in their business, they're using Microsoft, what is that, 360 copilot, but they're using copilot premium. And I didn't really know what the difference was in that. And so every meeting that they have, they record those meetings and copilot, you know, it transcribes it for you. It gives you an outline of everything that's said. But premium, what that does, that's an AI agent. And what it does is it gives you a summary of the transcript,
Starting point is 00:20:26 basically, you know, the 50,000 foot view. But then in that meeting, whatever meeting is, like if somebody says, if Sawyer says, hey, I'm going to do X, it gives that summary and it says, Sawyer Whistler committed to doing this by such and such a date, then it turns around and it emails Sawyer and says, yeah, by the way, you committed to doing this by such and such a date, and, you know, whoever ran the meeting gets that, everybody gets that.
Starting point is 00:20:57 The level of like accountability and clarity that they get out of that is just insane. And then he said to me that they are using agents, like he uses agents or uses an agent to help him with prioritizing his sales calls and they have a set of metrics and they're paying somebody for that technology now but now then they're going to start building their own that they've whoever they've partnered with they have the software the know-how whatever and they're building their own okay i mean it's it's moving fast and So I guess that's just something to be aware of. Yeah, it scares you because, you know, when you're a small business, like I think about
Starting point is 00:21:47 Farmer grade, you know, it's like, I don't know how much AI is getting implemented in the meat business, but I'm sure it's happening. And, you know, the big boys, they can invest in somebody to develop in their own AI. I mean, that's what all the big companies are doing is invested in building out their own AI program software within the company. That's their own and that probably can do more than what's just offered to the public. because it's going to be custom built. And that's just like, damn, I can't afford that.
Starting point is 00:22:15 I don't know how to do that either. But I think the first thing that you're going to see, and it's already happening, and I think it's going to get down to where everybody is going to do this, is the customer service experience. So one of the first places that AI is really changing that is today, people do not want to call somewhere and get an automated customer service.
Starting point is 00:22:40 They want an AI. They want a customer experience where it's like a conversation. Yeah, I wouldn't say they want an AI, but they want a real person. Well, they want the experience of a person, but they ain't getting a person. They're getting an AI. And some people are doing that very, very well,
Starting point is 00:22:58 and then the earlier versions were not very good. But more and more and more of that is going to move that way. And these offshore call centers are going to be the big loser in that. Because your call's not going to get transferred to India. It's going to be an AI. It's going to get transferred to a server. Have you seen these drive-thrus with AI? The AI, there's like a certain, I've seen TikToks of people going through Wendy's
Starting point is 00:23:28 or people going through McDonald's and it's past a certain time at night and the AI takes the order. Oh, really? But it's not very good yet. No. You know, people are like trolling the fuck out of it, you know. Yeah. But yeah.
Starting point is 00:23:40 It's, it's, yeah, that begs the question of the fast food industry. What's that going to look like? You know, I know McDonald's has always, they've been playing, playing around with the idea of having a fully autonomous. Yep. McDonald's operating with like nobody in there besides machines and robots. And so that's, that's a scary thought too. But anyway, uh, yeah, there's, there's a. we say this every time but guys it's something you got to you got to be in the know about because
Starting point is 00:24:10 it's it's moving like a freight train and you're going to get displaced if you're not aware of it or you're you know i don't know it's just one of those things i know a lot of farmers listen to this but anyway you can run your business more effectively or use your time more effectively uh to help you achieve more and do more i think that's that's valuable um and the tools are out there you just got to go look for him. I mean, I was, I was just, I was just spending time on YouTube yesterday, looking up what AI agent even meant. What, how do you do it? What is the difference? Where, what AI agents do I need to have? Do I need a custom built my own? Like, you just need to start searching, searching and asking questions because that's how you're going to find out and
Starting point is 00:24:52 you're going to have to implement it. So just a little bit of time spent with a little bit of search and use, you know, and then use chat. I mean, I'll tell you a great example, not to beat this horse anymore, but I just, I just asked Gronk the other day to help me. Yeah, Gronk. You asked Gronkowski? No. Gronk.
Starting point is 00:25:15 Gronk. Sorry, not Gronk. Yeah, I could ask Gronk, but yeah, he wouldn't be much help. Grock, sorry, sorry. About grain marketing, about basically what I asked it was. I asked it how I sell, how I market my grain ahead of my crop when I have crop insurance and say I have a loss. So in other words, I've, I've hedged my corn, I've sold corn on the board, but then I have a weather failure and I have crop insurance. Like, I've never had, I've had people explain this to me many times, but it's always kind of like it's hard to wrap your head around.
Starting point is 00:25:57 anyway, I asked that question. And the answer I got was very detailed and very easy to understand. I was like so impressed about how good of a job it did, explain it in that. And so, yeah, you spend a little bit of time. You can be the most knowledgeable AI person on your cul-de-sac. Real, real easy, like. So anyway, what else? are you going to are you pro are you on are you for taking the plane or not taking the plane
Starting point is 00:26:31 uh i mean i think it's such a stupid fucking story i think it doesn't matter like it's it's just another one of those things that they're trying to come at trump for and i mean it's on the bright side people say oh it's going to save taxpayers you know save taxpayer money we're not going to have to pay for a jet but on the same time like supposedly he's got he's doing he's done business over there yeah with golf courses and shit like that and people are thinking he's getting grease and bribed
Starting point is 00:27:04 and who knows he could be i don't know but again i i don't really give a shit it's kind of it's kind of like just one of those things that i don't think really matters all too much do you know who looks the worst out of the whole deal who boeing i mean honestly i think i you should probably talk about what this even is because some people might not even know okay so Donald Trump has been
Starting point is 00:27:28 in the middle east uh he his first stop was in Saudi Arabia and uh wasn't in Saudi Arabia or was it yeah Saudi Arabia and then he went to cutter uh but is it cutter or Qatar well you it's it's spelled Qatar but a lot of people call it cutter I don't know what you call it it's a small it's a small country in the middle of the east that has a shitload of money because they have oil. But anyway, they offered the United States. Now everybody says, oh, they offered this to Trump. No, they offered it to the United States. So the United States would be the beneficiary and the Air Force would get this jet.
Starting point is 00:28:13 A $400, $400 million, Boeing 757, that they had retrofitted. basically as a replacement of Air Force One, because Air Force One is the newest one that they got. Those two came when Ronald Reagan was president. So 85, 87, something like that. And two new Air Force Ones were ordered during the first Trump presidency and they are seven years, seven years ago, and no
Starting point is 00:28:50 estimated time arrival. Boeing, this is something a lot of people don't know, but Boeing builds planes, however, the planes that they build,
Starting point is 00:29:04 they are nothing like what you see when you get on an airline. They are an empty tube. They build the plane and it has the avionics in it. The motor, the engines on it, pretty much it. That's all it is.
Starting point is 00:29:21 And then there's companies that actually finish out these planes for airlines. So when Boeing pledges to build Air Force One and you need two of them because you've got to have a spare, they're building those in-house and apparently they don't know what the fuck they're doing.
Starting point is 00:29:40 It took them seven years and they still don't got it. Oh, and they don't have it done. And so to me, I think this whole thing was kind of a troll by Trump. basically saying, well, screw you guys. I want a new plane. And obviously you can't get it done. So I'm going to take this from these guys.
Starting point is 00:29:56 Because now then you can bet your ass. Boeing is scrambling. And they're like, we got to get these done. And I cannot find this story. But I swear I saw somewhere that Boeing pledged that they were going to have the first Air Force one done by 2027. And that came out like days after this whole broke. They finally got a timeline going now.
Starting point is 00:30:23 And I don't know if that's true or not. But it does, to me, the whole thing is it makes Boeing look bad because it's like you're supposed to be. Took 11 years. Yeah. I mean, you're supposed to be the Nats or the cat's ass on these, on, you know, technology and building these planes. And then you don't forget, Boeing owns Raytheon. and they acquired the skunk work. So the F-35 and do they own Lockheed Martin?
Starting point is 00:30:54 I don't know. But they're big in the defense business. And it's like you can do all this tech, but you can't build Air Force One. Because let's face it, it's not like it's a plane, it's a commercial plane that they already build. It's just a matter of them finishing it out to the specs of the government,
Starting point is 00:31:11 which I realize Air Force One, the performance of it and the defense capabilities of it and all the stuff that nobody knows about, that's all top secret. It's probably got some pretty cool shit on it. Yeah, it's got a lot of cool shit in it. However, this is what you do. So what do you think the coolest thing
Starting point is 00:31:30 that is on Air Force One that is on there that we don't know? I think probably one, what its actual capable speed is is probably a lot greater than what people know and the level of countermeasures as far as if it's attacked by anything. Does it got flares, you think? Oh, no, it has all that.
Starting point is 00:31:52 Do you think, do you think, it's got guns on it? Oh, I'm sure it does. You think it can launch missiles? The new one might have a laser on it. Maybe it's got a laser. I don't know. No idea.
Starting point is 00:32:04 Do you think it's got an eject pod that's like a straight up, instructable pod that they just put the president in in worst case scenario? Have you not seen Air Force One with Harrison Ford? That's what they do. They put him in the deal and eject him out the back. It's been a long time since I seen that movie.
Starting point is 00:32:20 I've been, I was young. Actually, though, he doesn't actually get in and he crawls out of. They think that he's left and then he sneaks around. Well, you spoiled it now. Basically, he was the model for Joe Biden. Yeah. I mean, that's what Joe would have done. Maybe they have a clone of the president on the chip at all times.
Starting point is 00:32:38 Maybe. Some of those kind of maneuvers. they sent him out of pod so they all you know the attackers deviate to go follow the pod but little do they know
Starting point is 00:32:48 he's actually still on the plane I don't know I thought that was kind of one of those fun ones that we could go down the rabbit hole but I think you could I don't know if it has
Starting point is 00:32:56 it probably has tactical nuclear weapons on it who knows who knows what's on it I there's a lot to unpack with that trip to the Middle East of Trump
Starting point is 00:33:07 so you know they they played it up for I thought it was very interesting all of the business leaders that were with him over there. There was a pile of people over there. And I thought that was pretty impressive
Starting point is 00:33:22 because what that really did to the Saudis and to the rest of the countries that he visited, it really showed him that like the U.S. government and our businesses are kind of aligned. Now, whether they're,
Starting point is 00:33:39 really are or not. I don't know, but the appearance of that, I thought was pretty impressive. And I don't know. I hope that the trade deals that we announced going forward are, I hope they do announce one a week, you know, because they did the deal with, with the UK, with Britain, and then he flew over to Saudi Arabia. Yeah, what's that all entail, you know? So one thing that I thought was the most interesting was that the baseline, no matter what we do on the amount of imports they have and American products getting into the UK, all exports from the UK to the United States have a minimum tariff of 10%. And that's one of our best trading partners.
Starting point is 00:34:28 So to me, what that signals is that the United States Treasury going forward is going to have a new line of income that we have not had in the past. Because if you think that somebody like the UK is going to pay a bare minimum of a 10% tariff on any items they import in the United, or they sell the United States, well, then what's somebody like China going to have or somebody like, you know, South Korea or whatever? So if that is their intent that every country is going to pay a minimum tariff to have access to our markets, that's a huge amount of income that the United States could realize,
Starting point is 00:35:09 which we need because you got to pay this deficit off sometime. Like, first of all, we got to get back to not adding to the deficit. So we're running a $2 trillion deficit. And the total deficit is, how big? How many trillion? I can't remember. Wasn't it, is it in the 40s? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:35:32 It's big. Is it 40s? I don't know. You say something snappy and I'll look it up. I can look it up. You keep going. So it's not a matter of before you can even worry about paying off the deficit, you have to get the size of government and the level of income that the Treasury is getting
Starting point is 00:35:51 to the point that you aren't running a deficit. 36.21 trillion. Yeah. Okay. There you go. So before you can even worry about paying off the deficit, you have to. you have to get government to the point that it's not adding to the deficit. And that would equal out to about $106,000, $106,000, $106,002 per person.
Starting point is 00:36:15 Yeah. And I don't think any of us are probably going to hand that over. And not many of us have it to get anyway. So, yeah. Government should do what they need to do, get that shit paid. Yeah. So basically, you know, you can be on whatever side of the fence you want. But the truth is, we got to spend.
Starting point is 00:36:32 spend less money and we've got to take in more revenue and nobody wants to be taxed. Everybody wants to fight about, oh, the rich need to pay their share. Well, the rich already pay the majority taxes in the United States and half of Americans don't pay any taxes. And we aren't any, but our problem, what we're finding out is our problem isn't on the tax revenue side. Our problem is on the spending side. We spend way too much money.
Starting point is 00:36:54 We're way too inefficient. And that's got to change. And we're getting our ass handed to us by all these other countries and all our other trading partners. Yeah. They put tariffs on us, but fuck. Yeah, and everybody wants to stir up that, you know, there's all these stories about, you know, farmers are going to take it in the shorts and all the farmers should be pissed off. Well, okay, that's fine. But I don't like, I don't like shitty commodity prices.
Starting point is 00:37:21 I don't like losing money. But if we don't fix this, we're all screwed. I mean, it's like, what are you want to talk about? I mean, is it going to be hard on small business? Probably. Do you think it's going to be as hard as, you know, Boeing or whoever trying to sell planes overseas when everybody's slapping terrorists back against us? Probably not. They're probably going to suffer.
Starting point is 00:37:47 Their earnings are probably going to drop. We're going to have to figure it out because if you think that, if you think the stock market is now positive for the year, everybody is like, oh, you know, stock market's going to fall out of bed. well, the stock market's positive for the year. If you can't take the amount of pain that we've had just right to now, it's going to get a whole lot worse if we can't get our government spending under control and get a hold of this deficits and start paying it off. Yeah, I mean, all farmers talk about passing it on the next generation.
Starting point is 00:38:20 Well, fuck, there might not even be... No, what's there to pass on? Yeah, there ain't going to be shit to pass on if the country fucking falls apart. I mean, I just, you just got to have perspective. It's like, again, this might blow up in Trump's face, his plan. I mean, on paper and what he's explained it and how Elon's explained it and how people have laid it out. It makes sense on paper, but making it happen is another thing. And if it doesn't work and, you know, it blows up in their face, it's going to hurt his legacy forever.
Starting point is 00:38:53 But again, we talk about this all the time and we've seen this from people. What are you know? What's your plan? What's your plan? One of the other options. How do we get it figured out then? Because everything else, everything else that everybody else is talking about, all it is bickering and whining and complaining and bitching
Starting point is 00:39:10 that you're taking my, you're hurting this or you're hurting that or whatever. Okay, well, what's your plan to fix it? Well, you don't have one. And I think that's Trump's greatest, to me, that's his greatest superpower. It's just like the whole Boeing thing. you know it's like nobody's talking about this and then he goes over here and they're like oh we're going to give you this jet and everybody's up in arms and then finally somebody goes well yeah why isn't air force one done it's the same thing about the border you know we were told for for four years that
Starting point is 00:39:42 oh well we need a new legislation to close the border and the republicans are fucking that all up so it's their fault you know if if they would just if they just vote for this we could fix it but we can't fix it because we need new legislation and guess what? Trump comes in, no new legislation and voter, the border's fixed. I mean, there ain't anybody coming in. And
Starting point is 00:40:04 it's just stuff like that all the time. It's like, where's your answer? If this is not the plan, come up with a better plan. But nobody can't. And I'm not protecting any Republican
Starting point is 00:40:21 legislator. I think that I would say pretty much every member of Congress, every member of the Senate, they should probably kick every one of them out. Just kick them all out. Like I think we should, I think as Americans, we should get a amendment to the Constitution that every 25 years, maybe more than that, but every 25 five years, every member of the legislature should just be booted out, not be allowed to run for re-election, and a whole new batch brought in. That, I mean, yeah, that, but I mean, fucking term limits would be good on, on them. And also, if you get to a certain age, you're out. Yeah. You can't fucking, you can't be in it. So we were, and no insider trading and like legitimately
Starting point is 00:41:18 tracking that. Like, your husband can't just go buy this shit. Yeah. or your family sets up, what are those called? Trust? No. Oh, family office? No. The thing that they... Oh, an NGO.
Starting point is 00:41:29 An NGO. Your family can't set up an NGO. I want to fuck an NGO. Yeah. You can't just set up an NGO and then just pay back your family and then you get paid. No, that, all that shit's got to go. And yeah, that needs to be solved. Term limits, every 25 years kick them out or, hey, age limits this.
Starting point is 00:41:47 Get the fuck out if you get past this age. Because we need some new blood and we need people that actually. actually give a shit about Americans and are in it just to make money and be career politicians. At the end of the day, that's what it is. It makes no sense to have politicians in office that are of an age that the decisions that they make have no effect on it. They don't care because they're not going to be here long enough to worry about it. Dick Durbin's not running for reelection from Illinois.
Starting point is 00:42:13 I hadn't heard that, but we heard that the other day. He's been in there for, I don't know how long. Well, you know what? gosh dang i sure hope that they don't let chuck grassley run again i hope they put somebody up how old is he didn't want to run the last time no wouldn't he 90 i don't know i mean he's freaking old yeah and it's like oh yeah you know everybody loves chuck grassley i think he's a great guy he should not be in the senate yeah it's stupid i don't know it's ridiculous so anyway yeah if you haven't got a plan it's fine everybody wants to sit around throw stones
Starting point is 00:42:46 Trump is the man in the arena. That's it. Trump is the man in the arena. And everybody else, they are the people that are telling him how he could have done better, but they have no plan to do better.
Starting point is 00:43:00 I mean, it is, that's it. Like, get out of the way. Let him have it. The best thing you can do is like put it all on him. Say, yep, we're going to let you do whatever you want. And if you fail,
Starting point is 00:43:11 it's going to be all on you. I think he'd be fine with that. No, that's, I mean, yeah, that's business. That's the market decides at the end of the day. People will decide. So, just, he's got the plan, let him work the plan, see how it pans out. Woo! Yeah.
Starting point is 00:43:29 It's a lot better than what we had before. I mean, I'd rather have a president going out and doing shit and trying shit to fix shit rather than sitting on his ass and not doing fucking anything and being brain dead half the time. Shit in his pants and fucking not be able to read lines. and embarrassing us as a country. I'd rather have somebody that's powerful that's doing shit, that's making shit happen, taking action, learning, and doing what he thinks is best.
Starting point is 00:43:54 That's better than what we had before. And I guarantee it'd be better than Kamala. Her ass would have been a puppet too. She's a puppet. Well, it would have been exactly what you already had. Yeah, it's a puppet. The same group that ran Biden had run her. Yeah, exactly.
Starting point is 00:44:05 Oh, yeah. And hey, does anybody, is any of you listening that still consume any media out, old school media. Does anybody honestly believe that Jake Tapper? Jake Tapper didn't know that Biden was losing his shit. He wrote a brand new book about how the Democratic Party basically bamboozled the entire country and that they were able to convince everybody that Joe Biden was okay when he really wasn't.
Starting point is 00:44:36 That is such a crock of shit. I mean, I don't know anybody, everybody that I talked to every week. Every week. They're like, boy, that fucker's losing it. It's like, duh.
Starting point is 00:44:49 And so now, that's him trying to protect his legacy. That's him trying to, that's it. As soon as he did that debate, as soon as he did that debate, they fucking sheep sacrifice.
Starting point is 00:45:04 He was sacrificial lamb after that. Because they all went, oh, Biden's performance, you know, questionable. Questionable. And I don't know if he's suited to run.
Starting point is 00:45:13 We should probably get him. him replaced. And it was a fucking joke. So Tapper brings out this book and he's pointing all this stuff out, which you know he knew the whole time. And he acts like he's been. So first of all, he's been on all the morning shows and all that, which we talked about, you and I were talking about that.
Starting point is 00:45:31 If you're, if you have any credibility at all and you're any quality as far as an actor, you don't do those shows anymore anyway because those people have no credibility and nobody believes anything they say. So the fact that he's on there. tells you that he's like grasping at straws. He's not an actor though. No, he's a, well, he is an actor. Yeah, true.
Starting point is 00:45:50 He's a mainstream media. True. Propagandist. Yeah. Journalist. So he's an actor. You know, he reads what's on the cue cards. But anyway, for him to sit there and act like, you know, he, oh, boy, I had to dig. I had to do some serious investigative journalism to figure this out.
Starting point is 00:46:06 It's like, really? You're a freaking turd. I mean, everybody knew it. And he's just, and he's a. and he's trying to profit off it. That's the thing. He knows his asses grass as far as ever being on regular media. And he knows it's dying.
Starting point is 00:46:23 So he writes this book and he hopes everybody buys it and he makes a buck. It's so pathetic. I just, uh, anyway, that's, that's my rant on that. Frickin turd.
Starting point is 00:46:33 What a turd. He is a turd. Gosh. Okay, let's go to a, here's one that's not on the outline, but did you see that Tim Tebow clip on Sean Ryan? Yes.
Starting point is 00:46:43 him talking about all the fucking child well predators abusers in America and all the dots yeah man if you guys haven't seen that Sean Ryan clip look that up there's a Sean Ryan clip out there with Tim Tebow
Starting point is 00:46:59 on there and he talks about he shows this map and it's it's like all the child abusers of children being abused in America from like I think 12 and under and there's like I can't remember how many there were and it was like within a 24-hour period.
Starting point is 00:47:15 And it was all the IP addresses that had downloaded or created or uploaded. Or sent out material of underage children being abused. Yeah. Fucked up. It's fucked up. And like that's something that props to Tim Tebow. I mean, you can love him or hate the guy.
Starting point is 00:47:33 But man, he is a stand-up dude. Like every single stage of life that that guy's gone through, he has always been a class act and always stayed true to who he is. But now he's. fighting against that and he brought awareness on Sean Ryan about it and man that's something that our government needs to get off their ass and do something about that too. Yeah. Because that shit's throw their ass in the wood chipper. That's what Annie Fersela says. There's no saving those fucking weirdos. Yeah. Those perves, they go to jail, they go to prison. You're not rehabilitating those
Starting point is 00:48:05 people. Right. They're fucked. They're fucked up. You got to throw their ass in the wood chipper. Yeah. because there's no coming back from that shit. Yeah, that's a sad, that's a sad state of affairs. Your moral compass is completely fucking gone. If you can ever have a thought or think and do that kind of shit. I mean, there's no fucking excuse for that. And those people putting them in prisons, that's, yeah, they deserve way worse than that shit. Well, I mean, and we got to do something.
Starting point is 00:48:36 I mean, he's, he's trying, he's got an organization. I should know the name of it, but Tim Tebow is trying to fight against. this stuff and he's trying to get he's like everybody wants to talk about it but nobody wants to do shit about it he's like because it goes so far up all it's so interweaved into all these organizations yeah that there's people it's that's the reason why the the epstein files like everybody's like why haven't they been released well the reason they haven't been released i think is because every step of the way there are people that are so intertwined in society that are involved in that shit that are again they don't want it to come out they
Starting point is 00:49:23 don't want anybody to know what the deal is so when you're like i'm talking whether you're talking uh fbi CIA local law enforcement you know whatever it is companies that do business with agency of the government. There's people in there that they're into that shit. Yeah. You just can't. It's a bad. It is a bad deal. And, you know, if you ever listen to Real A.F with Andy Fricela, he's got a really extreme view on these people. But he always talks about, you know, these people deserve public execution because you need to set a fucking example of, hey, you don't fuck with our kids. And if you fuck with our kids, you're going to be fucking humiliated. And, we're going to make an example out of you for being a fucked up person.
Starting point is 00:50:15 Like, because, I mean, that is one of those crimes that I mean, that shit is like everybody I think can agree. That shit is, you deserve way worse than death. I mean,
Starting point is 00:50:27 you, you are a piece of shit. You are a piece of shit. And the fact that we have that much going on, I think he said we're third in live streaming, trying to get kids, groom kids through live streaming or posting that, shit while you're live streaming and then we're number one in i think the amount of people that
Starting point is 00:50:48 are downloading that shit in this country i think we're number one that is fucked up oh and you know what's crazy about that map the east coast if you look at his map that he showed on there the east coast and southeast are the worst they're the worst yeah when you get further out west it's like better and i'm not saying there's not people out there you know west but like i thought that was so odd yeah thought that was so weird that it's well i mean your population is a lot greater there too so as a percentage it's going to be true but true it's it's a bad deal anyway i want to shine some light on that because if you haven't seen that clip go check it out because i think everybody should see it because it's i mean having k c maxedat on here i mean you know when he fought when he was
Starting point is 00:51:37 you know working cases with children involved and it was, you know, part of that. I mean, he's seen some shit. And I mean, he was trying to say, I mean, he said it on here, you know, you got to be aware of what your kids are looking at, dude, because there are some fucking weirdos out there that will... You let the cat out of the bag because his isn't out yet.
Starting point is 00:51:57 Well, we had a really good guest on. Yeah, we got a really good guest. We got a really good guest on. I guess it just depends on which one of these release, because it may come out before this one, it may not. But anyway, the guy we had on, excellent. And he talks about this very subject and about keeping your kids safe.
Starting point is 00:52:16 There's a lot of really good content out there right now in the podcast world. I would just say that that episode with Tim Tebow on Sean Ryan is excellent. Sean Ryan's, I mean, he has had some really excellent guests. He's great. The All In, if you're interested about AI. And then I'll just tell you, I've listened to the episode, Joe Rogan had Jeremy Renner on.
Starting point is 00:52:41 If you don't know, Jeremy Renner, he was Hawkeye and Marvel. He was born. Kind of his big break. Yeah, he did one of the born movies, kind of the updated one, but then he was in Hurt Locker. And Hurt Locker, I mean, that's some crazy shit. Man, that's a movie.
Starting point is 00:53:00 But it was all about his recovery. So basically he got ran over by his snow cat in his driveway in Lake Tahoe, And I don't want to spoil it for anybody, but, I mean, he broke like, I think he broke like 40 bones in his body. He has 20 plus pieces of titanium in his body. He's made a full recovery. But it just, they spent a lot of time talking about perspective and about how he looks at life today and, like, what's important. And they talk about how, you know, all these things that. he thought were really important to him.
Starting point is 00:53:42 And in moments like that, you realize, no, none of that is. And that episode, I mean, it made me think just how blessed we all are. And, you know, he made the comments like, every day you get up and something happens and it's a decision, you know, is this a bad day or a good day? And he goes, anytime I'm like, well, you know, this is a shitty day, I have that thought and I think about, you know, being able to walk and not have to have somebody else wipe my ass. Nope, today is a pretty good day, you know, just crazy.
Starting point is 00:54:21 And I think that's something, we, I won't lie. Hold that thought, but when you're sitting in a hospital bed, I, for those you didn't know, I was in a four-wheeler accident when I was like, was I 12, 12, and I ruptured my spleen and I was in the hospital and I had to say, I had to say, you know, I had to say, I was in a four-wheeler accident. sit in a bed. I had to sit in a hospital bed for like five days. I couldn't get up. There is nothing worse than when you have to shit in a bedpan and piss in a catheter. Yep. It is like the worst. I hate that shit. I hated that shit. So, yeah. If you don't have to have to have your ass wiped and you don't have to shit in a bed pan, it's a pretty good day. Yep. That's right.
Starting point is 00:55:04 Because it sucks. I mean, it sucks. So true. It's so true. And, you know, we were talking, recently we talked about you know mindset motivation how you know it all comes down to everything is right here it's like you don't need we all want like the magic pill we want the ozemic ozempic we want the we want the the upper the downer the alcohol the the drug the whatever whatever it is our bodies our mind our mind simple, easy, repeatable, like, just easy. And, or pleasurable. Or, yeah. Or it's pleasure.
Starting point is 00:55:51 Right. Not pain, not struggle. And, you know, you got to beat that game. If you can beat, if you can control your mind, oh, man, you can do, you can do whatever. But you just, you're never done. Like you never, your mind never. submits. Like, it submits for a time. You can go, but as soon as you, you get missed a day, you get soft and you're right back, right back there. Talking about what's important, you know,
Starting point is 00:56:23 today, today is a pretty special man that I've met in my life. It's his funeral today, and it's actually Kat's grandpa, my fiance's grandpa. And you want to talk about the things that are important. This man has 25 grandkids. He has nine kids. His son. His son. He has nine kids. His His wife passed away when she was in her 50s when the youngest kid just turned 18. And he had an impact on every single one of his grandkids. Every single one of his grandkids were devastated by his passing. Every single one of them has photos with him. Every single one of them called him.
Starting point is 00:57:02 They all got voicemails from him. Every single one of them loved their grandpa and he loved them. And he loves his kids. obviously too. He has all his kids showed up to the hospital. All the kids were there when he passed. All the kids are going to be at the funeral. All the kids are, you know, are, and they all still get along. All get along and they're all hurt by his passing, but understand that he's in a better place and he's actually with his wife up in heaven. But that's a guy that said the example of what really matters.
Starting point is 00:57:38 I mean, people is what matters. Relationships are what matter. And every time that we would go to a family gathering where all the grandkids are there, all the aunts, all the uncles are there, you know, I come from a smaller family and go into a big family like that. It's just like, I would look at him and I'd see him
Starting point is 00:57:56 and I'd say to myself, he's like the richest guy out there. Because literally every single person there, he's he's the rock you know he's the rock and every single person there is is because of him and he loves every single person that's there and they all love him and it's just like a house of love and like that and just the impact you had on people that weren't just family i mean there's so many people that were impacted by him but at the end of the day family faith friends people matter that's what matters your impact you had on people that's what matters your impact you had on people that's what
Starting point is 00:58:33 at the end of the day. And, you know, looking at his life, I think a lot of people, I learned a lot from just observing him and just seeing, you know, his relationship. But that, that's a life worth living. And I think he was a really fulfilled man, you know, as he got older because of that, you know.
Starting point is 00:58:54 Losing your wife's not an easy thing, but he did his best to attend everything and have a relationship with his kids. and I think he was pretty full by the end of his time. But anyway, that's just a good example of what matters. Because we can all get caught up and I'm guilty of it, getting caught up on the next milestone, getting caught up on the next number,
Starting point is 00:59:16 getting caught up on the next goal and thing. But you know what? At the end of the day, none of that shit's coming with you when you go in your casket or you get cremated. None of that shit's going with you. It's all about the people. And we're going to throw a celebration.
Starting point is 00:59:29 He said he wants a celebration. He doesn't want it to be a sad funeral. So we're going to have a mass and, you know, honor him in that way. But he wants to have, he wants everybody to celebrate the life and have some kegs going and all that. And so we'll see what the turnout is tonight. But I'm sure it's going to be hundreds and hundreds of people that show up to this thing.
Starting point is 00:59:49 So pretty, pretty cool. Yeah, absolutely. And that's what it's about. Yep. Who did you impact and who showed up at your funeral, you know? Yeah. That's what matters. There's a great quote.
Starting point is 01:00:00 And I can't remember the. guy. I thought I could think of it, but he's like, he said that he, his goal is to make a big enough impact on people's lives that the people that don't like him still go to his funeral because they feel like they have to, even though they didn't like you. And he's like, he said some other stuff too, but basically just, you know, just touch, just make, make, just, just, just, just, make the world a better place. And yeah, he definitely did that. I mean, that's a legacy.
Starting point is 01:00:37 That is a legacy. That is a legacy. That is 100% of legacy. And that's what I would think every time that I would go. And it's be like, man, this is so, so cool. So cool. Yeah, it's pretty amazing. I guess we should probably stop bitching then. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:00:52 We pretty much spent 50 minutes bitching. And then we're going to give you some positivity. Well, hey, guess what? I like where we're at as a, as, as, in the country right now. I mean, I know it's not perfect and I know Trump's not perfect and maybe every decision he makes
Starting point is 01:01:07 in his administration, it ain't going to be perfect. But the end of the day, I think we're a little, we're better off than where we were. And to me, I feel like the uncertainty of everything feels,
Starting point is 01:01:22 it's a little more, it's not as rocky. Because I mean, when Biden at the end, man, I was a little, I think we all were a little concerned like, dude, I cannot believe that this is real life right now. I'll tell you what, this is how good things,
Starting point is 01:01:38 how good I feel about things. The other day I was in my local hardware store and they had ammo on sale and I didn't buy any. That's a good feeling. Normally, normally there would have been a purchase probably. I feel good. I feel good. What about when meat's on sale? Oh, well, you should always.
Starting point is 01:01:58 but yeah, I mean, it's, the problem with, the problem with meat is that, uh, one, it's always good to have on hand, but two, uh, doesn't stay around. It doesn't stay around. Yeah. It doesn't stay around. Uh, let's talk about, since we're kind of, we've pretty much shot the outline to hell in a hand basket. We're not really going off. Kind of riffing. But I, I think you and I have both kind of had an epiphany in the meat world when it comes to what we expect. of a steak. Oh, yeah. Yeah. And you can jump in on this, whatever you want. But so, like a week ago.
Starting point is 01:02:40 Dad slammed the porterhouse on accident on the ground in the freezer when we were packing orders on accident. I don't think I did this one. I didn't. It was legitimate. It was broken seal. There was a broken seal, like three and a half pound Wagyu Porterhouse that the seal broke.
Starting point is 01:02:55 And, you know, I'm a little, I have a feeling of like. like, damn, we can't sell this. This is not up to our standards. But at the same time, it's like, oh, baby. Let's take this, let's take this baby home and eat it. So it's conflicting, but go ahead. So anyway, Soria calls me and tells me he has this. And he's like, we should reverse Sere this. Because I've heard people doing it. It's supposed to be really good. And I'd never reverse Sere to steak. And so he brought it up. And it actually wasn't like, we didn't do it perfect because when we, when we, when he brought it. it to me, it wasn't completely thawed.
Starting point is 01:03:31 And I seasoned it and put it in my container and let it fall out. Let it thaw. But I mean, it was just thawed when we put it out on the smoker. So what I did was I set my smoker to 200
Starting point is 01:03:46 degrees and we put this porter house on and I've got a set of these it's called meter but it's spelled M-E-A-T-R meter. There are these probes that you can shove in and you can basically cook with them in the deal. And it is a, that's
Starting point is 01:04:04 like a game changer in itself. Not sponsored by meter, but we should be, so, you know, reach out to us. Anyway, we put it on the smoker 200 degrees and it took a bit. I mean, I think it took 40 minutes probably. And we probably could have done it. In hindsight, we probably
Starting point is 01:04:22 could have done it a little higher temperature. But put it on the smoker until it got to a 120 degrees. And then we pulled it off of there. And I actually had the blackstone fired up. So we seared it on the blackstone. And I don't remember.
Starting point is 01:04:41 I mean, only a few minutes, like two or three minutes aside. It was a pretty thick steak. So yeah, I'd say like three to four minutes aside probably. It took. And we actually had the press out there, like the burger press. So we put her on there to make sure that it got a good sear on it. Anyway, took it off. Took it off about 140 probably.
Starting point is 01:05:01 I like my steak's medium, so. Yeah. And then we let it rest. Yeah, let it rest for five minutes. And that fact or what people say about how your steak will come up like five degrees after you're at rest. Facts. Totally long. Because we had that probe in there the whole time it was rested and it came up five degrees.
Starting point is 01:05:20 It was literally 145 perfect. Yeah. Anyway, that thing, that was like. Like, I have not had a steak that good at any. I don't give a shit. Like, you know, there's a lot of good steak places out there. And, yeah, it was unfucking real. It was unreal.
Starting point is 01:05:42 I, so I did it again last night. A wagu T-bone broke. And I was like, Dad, I'm coming up and I'm going to do it. So I did it. And it's a thinner steak, you know, it's not a porterhouse. So it didn't take as long, especially on the searing part. but I did it again and I took it home and I ate it and I'm telling you what it is like it's unbelievably good like it's unbelievably good I I shot a Snapchat or I shot a
Starting point is 01:06:11 Instagram story and me taking my first bite and I just started laughing because I you you almost just don't believe that you can make a stake that good at home like it's unbelievably good uh it's a 10 out of 10 like I don't want to make a stake any other way now like when you're in a pinch and you got to throw them on the grill. Okay, I get it. But if you are optimizing for the best flavor possible on a steak, you need to reverse sear. You need to put it on your trigger, smoke it,
Starting point is 01:06:39 or put it on your offset or whatever smoker you got, smoke that thing, and then sear the shit out of it after, and then eat that. Because it is unreal. Yeah. It's unreal. Pork chops would be good. Burgers.
Starting point is 01:06:53 I've seen people do burgers. I think that'd be so. I mean, that's a lot of work. to work for burgers. I know, but I feel like that flavor, if you're going for maximum flavor and you're going to have people over or something and you want to fucking knock their socks off,
Starting point is 01:07:07 dude, that thing is amazing. How many, so let's say you were going to do that. Because you don't want to overcrow the smoker. So how many steaks could you do, you think? Oh, you could do a bunch. On a, so like burgers. So like my trigger
Starting point is 01:07:23 is the bigger one. It's one of the older ones now, but it's the bigger box. I don't know if that's 30, if it's 36 inches or if it's 30 inches or whatever, but it's the bigger one. And on
Starting point is 01:07:39 that rack, I bet you could put I I am pretty sure you could put seven stakes in there, six at least. And actually, you could use the top rack because it's not like you're trying to get any bark on it
Starting point is 01:07:55 or anything. Yeah. So I mean, hell. if you had that thing heated up, you could probably put three or four above and at least six. I mean, I think you could put quite a few steaks on there. Probably more steaks than you have friends. So, and burgers, I mean, you could load the biggest. Yeah, if you're going to do burgers in there,
Starting point is 01:08:19 probably dump your grease bucket. I don't know how much they'd sweat out by the time they got to temperature because it wouldn't take that long. But damn. Yeah. Unbelievable guys. I'm not going to lie. It's like World Pork Expo is coming up and I'm always up there for that. Usually we'll go out to like 801 or go to the what the steer. What's that called? Splash. Cattlemen's. Oh, yeah. Cattlemen's is like the, I guess it's like the secret place because it's not fancy like 801, but heck you can get just to get a stake there as you can at 8.0. but I was like sitting there eating that that night with you and I was like you know I I don't know if I could get a steak there that's any better than what I'm getting here I mean
Starting point is 01:09:08 you just it is it is the top of the line way to do it I feel like yeah and um I actually want to do it I actually bought a porter house from fairway you fucking cheater I know I well I I just thought to myself I was in there getting something and I was like I want to do just a regular off-the-shelf steak, because those were Wagyu. And, I mean, I know they're going to be better. But I just, like, do a regular steak and see and just see how good it can be. Now, I know it won't be. You're cheating.
Starting point is 01:09:43 It won't be as good. Yeah. But, you know, you got to have a baseline. No dry agent on that shit. That's all wet-aged bullshit. I know. I know. I felt kind of dirty as the man handed me the package.
Starting point is 01:09:54 Yeah, you should. But you should. Anyway. Yeah. Anyway, on, unbelievably good. If you've not tried it, I recommend it to anybody. It is un-fucking believable. So good. Yeah. And like, I'm sure there's some top steakhouses out there that are putting that shit out every night. I will say it's rich. I mean, steaks are rich. It's a meaty, it's a meaty cut of meat, right? And this, sometimes steak can be kind of rich. Yeah. This makes it rich. It makes it rich.
Starting point is 01:10:21 So if you like steak and you really like, you like smoking meat, you're going to love it. But if that's sometimes too much for you, then you might not, but I personally love it. So anyway, you get on that? I am. I feel like we, you know, yeah, we had a plan on how this podcast was going to go. You know, usually we try to have somewhat of an outline.
Starting point is 01:10:42 And we stuck to it for the most part. But honestly, we just started riffing. and I thought it flowed pretty good. So I hope you guys got some value from it. I'm at peace now. You are? Yeah. You're going to, good for the day now?
Starting point is 01:10:54 Yep. Good. Good. Positive outlook. Positive outlook. That's right. Perspective, folks. Perspective. It's about the people.
