All right.
Welcome back to blue by 90.
I'm Justin joined by Jack today.
It is September 12th, uh, after a Michigan dub again, uh, against Hawaii, um, said that they didn't cover the spread I think
that's a little embarrassing to be honest I was talking to to tie one of the people that that
works to tailgate with us and he's like you think they cover I was like dude I just 50s I mean that's
a lot of points man a lot of points to have to cover
but then i was actually talking about it too because uh so zach leonard um he i was talking
to him he's like i took the points for that reason he's like no matter who it is 52 is like
a lot of points and then it's 42 to nothing at the end of the first half. And he's like, well, shit.
Yeah.
But, you know, obviously they put in the backups and everything.
And, you know, you let the foot off gas a little bit there.
But, yeah, he was sweating it out at the end there
when they got that touchdown at the end
oh i bet yeah i mean don't don't sleep on the backups man davis warren
you know his first pass was like threading the needle man to his roommate dude he's legit
he's he is um i mean obviously we're biased because we're best friends with him. But, like, you know, he's –
I truly think that he will be, like, a QB1 in the future.
If it's not here, you know, I think that he will start somewhere.
But I hope it's here.
He's the type of guy that's going to, like, grad transfer
and just blow it up wherever he goes.
Yeah, I agree.
Agree with that.
But obviously the the quarterback that everyone's talking about is J.J. McCarthy.
Just like it doesn't get much better than that.
If you're J.J. McCarthy, man.
Dude, I was I was telling you, man, I're J.J. McCarthy, man. Dude, I was telling you, man.
I think J.J. already had it locked up, and then he just fucking came out.
And, like, as a Michigan fan, I can't recall the last time I saw a quarterback
come out and make three, four, like, 30, 40-yard passes in a half.
And hit on every single one of them there was not a bad throw
yeah dude like it's it was refreshing it was so refreshing to see we talked about it on the last
pod we were like yeah he showed what he can do with his legs but he just checked down so we don't
really know what he can do with his arm we know what he can do with his arm. We know what he can do with his arm.
Yeah.
There is no doubt.
And I think this, too, like, I don't know.
You said that you think it was already locked up.
I've heard a couple other people that are like they thought that Jim knew this before the season.
Like, I don't know.
I think that it all just happened on Saturday night,
and it's like it was undeniable.
Whether he had that in his head or not,
it was just undeniable that J.J. McCarthy should have that QB1 job.
Yeah, and I mean, I obviously feel bad for Cade
because he's getting a lot of hate from people and boos from fans.
And I mean, that's tough in a stadium that you beat Ohio State
and you led your team to the Big Ten title game
to kind of hear stuff like that.
I mean, that's just bad on us as fans, man.
But, you know, I mean,
clearly I think it got to his head, the QB battle. Cause he,
those first two games or those, I mean,
the only two games Michigan's played this year, he never played like that,
you know, in the past years, even game one,
like I said a little bit in the last podcast, like, you know,
he basically played like that,
but it was never as bad as it was in his first drive. Um,
but the game he had uh
two days ago because we're recording this monday night i mean he just looked bad like he he was
the worst qb on the field and it sucks man i mean i would be in my head too you know that's what it
seemed like to me yeah and i i think that um man it's just it's just tough. It's really tough to be that guy in that situation.
And it's tough, like, I mean, it is.
I didn't – you put it into good perspective.
Like, you know, the last time, you know,
outside of the Colorado State game, the last time he stepped onto that field, he was like the king of Ann Arbor.
Literally, obviously Hassan Haskins is probably the MVP of that Ohio State game,
but Cade's being hoisted onto people's shoulders,
walking off as like, you did it.
You finally did it.
You were the QB that slayed the dragon.
And then to come out this year and, like, have your own fans boo you,
that's like – I don't care how mentally tough you are, man.
That shit will get to you.
Yeah.
And, you know, I really hope that he – I hope he sticks this out, you know,
because I'll say this.
Like, we will need him at some point this year.
I said it on our Twitter space last night.
Like, we 1,000% will need Cade McNamara at some point this year,
whether JJ has a tough game or if he gets banged up you know it has to take a few
plays off like i can see a scenario where in the like second half of a really important game down
the stretch like kate has to lead a drive for a touchdown and it like wins us a football game
and i hope to god anybody that was booing, like, you know,
like don't be cheering at that point if you were booing now.
You know what I mean?
I mean, that'd be fucking sweet if you did that.
Dude, it would be.
You know what would be reminiscent of?
Of Bama, what was it?
Bama, Georgia two years ago.alen hurts came back i think in the
title game yes because tua got hurt and then and then he won that game for him
yeah and that's like sweet redemption a little bit for him and i hope i do like obviously i'm
not gonna say i hope jj gets hurt or anything like that but um it would be a it would be a
cool scenario if that did happen that's for sure um it'd be super cool if jj just like fucking broke
his arm that is not what i said don't put words in my mouth piece that together um i i mean
jj literally i mean kate uh hardball said. He looked flawless. Like, nearly flawless. He did. Like, those deep balls were so sexual.
I was wild.
I think my favorite throw.
I think my.
Jesus Christ.
I think my favorite throw was when he stepped up in the pocket to the left.
And he was rolling left.
And he just fucking.
He just threw a strike to cornelius
johnson in the end zone dude on the run just going left on the run just fucking slung it
it's beautiful and he he was whipping him in there too i think the touchdown to ronnie like
he threw that maybe like 90 miles an hour even uh yeah that one was a fucking bullet and then
the one to dono in the corner was on a fucking line too.
What a catch from Dono too.
That was – you do not see that from like most wide receivers,
let alone a running back.
Right.
And the best part was Jake Butt predicted it before it happened.
Did you see that?
Yeah, I heard that.
That was great. Jake Butt had a great call as well.
Like, just kidding.
Holy shit.
Are you watching this Monday Night Football game?
No, I'm not.
Geno Smith is 17 of 18 with 164 pass yards and two TDs at halftime.
Like, Geno Smith.
Wait, wait, wait.
It's not even halftime.
It was like two minutes until halftime.
Geno Smith, West Virginia, like fucking Jets, wherever else he went.
I love Geno Smith in college, man.
He's outplaying –
Was he right after Pat White at West Virginia?
Yeah, I think so.
I feel like he was.
Yeah, I like Geno Smith, man.
I'm glad he's playing well.
One of the chances that Geno fucking Smith outplays Russ Wilson,
like that's unbelievable.
He's patient for it.
Yeah.
Yeah, man, I don't know.
It just adds like so many different layers and elements to this offense.
The deep ball itself, like the fact that –
You have to account for the run.
You have to account for his legs.
You have to now account for the RPO,
which is like a true RPO for the first time in a long time
because like even when we ran the the rpo with shea patterson
shea barely pulled it dude and so plenty of times he could have yes exactly so it just it's so much
different now um now on top of just like the the skills and like the things he can do that are just insane. He just looks so confident out there.
He's out there.
He finds his reads.
He sees who he's going to throw to, and he just fucking lets it rip.
He just looks so confident.
As long as he can keep that confidence,
I feel like Michigan's going to be unstoppable this year.
He's on top of the world right now.
Has to be.
If they can keep it going um you know it's it's
incredible i actually i talked to him today on the on the uh on the phone and he's just like
he's such a good kid it's like i feel like he's just so happy-go-lucky man
he he like he does the meditation thing so much and it's just like i i don't know
you would like even behind closed doors you have a conversation with him and you feel like it's the
same scripted stuff that he's like saying in a press conference so that like he does it so well
though that it i like i truly believe it's genuine like i at first i was like i think
he's the most well-trained golden retriever of all time and but that's accurate that's why i'm laughing
but like he like he was just like i'm so blessed to be in this position. I think that we're just lucky to have him.
We truly are lucky to have him at Michigan.
I think it can take Michigan to a next level that I'm not sure we are ready for.
Dude, I remember just from the couple times that i've seen him at uh at valiant and i
remember the first time he was like coming in i think they're doing like a photo shoot for his
new car deal or whatever yeah and uh he's just like fucking happy-go-lucky dude looks like he's
like a little bunny rabbit jumping around like he just always looks like the happiest guy in the
room it just like blows my mind i don't know that like
dude like literally drives me crazy i've never seen anybody happier than that guy always smiling
um and like him and dono are just like goofy as hell yeah they like screw around all the time and
like i really don't take things seriously that often um but obviously like when it gets down to it like
in the meeting i've never been in meeting rooms with them i'm sure that they take it seriously but
you know what i mean they're just like they're just like they're kids you know they're kids
dude yeah and so you're fucking the age dude we were
yeah i can't imagine.
If I had the amount of pressure – Did you get a stoplight on us?
At age 19, if I had the amount of pressure that J.J. McCarthy has on him right now,
I would crap my pants every single, like, moment.
Oh, yeah.
You'd crank me in panic.
I'm going to go back to bed because I can't do this today.
Oh, man.
But, man, it's – you know, I'm happy to go back to bed because I can't do this today. Oh man. But man,
I,
it's,
you know,
I'm happy for him.
I think the team is happy for him.
You know,
I think I'll say this,
this is going to be,
you're going to be like,
wow,
negative vibes.
But I,
I just think like as,
as good as he was on Saturday,
I think there's still something to prove in terms of being QB1 all the time.
Right?
Like, it's different when you –
It's not negative vibes.
Yeah, it's different when you, like, are competing for it.
But now, like, you have to go out and do that each week,
and you also have to lead this team.
He hasn't, like, actually led this team, you know, as the guy.
And so, like, that's what, like,
if there's one thing left on the table to do for him, I think that's it.
Like, go out, be the leader,
and make everyone else around you better as well.
Yeah, no, I think that's more than fair.
Because, yeah, I mean i mean obviously we've seen what
he can do on the field but like it was still cave's team and it's still you know i mean
cave's a captain right it was still cave's team now it's like actually like okay jj you're
you're qb1 like he's almost he's elevated to a new position a new status you know i mean and
like you said there's responsibility that comes with that
and you know can you put together for a whole season i mean it's it's tough for sure i'm with
you i'm excited to see what what that looks like for the rest of the year i i said it on the space
last night too but i'll say it again like i think um as good as jj, I still think Cade McNamara is one of the most important pieces to this team.
And the reason why is a couple things.
A, you always need a really good backup quarterback at all times if you want to win a championship. If Cade McNamara can kind of put ego aside and just become like a role player for this team and still prop up JJ, prop up this offense and lead even from that backup position.
How good will this team be?
Like this team will be unstoppable.
He's so smart.
He's a great leader.
People respect the hell out of him in that uh in that uh locker
room like having that guy be positive day in and day out like to me that means the sky is the limit
for this team yeah i agree and i hope that um who's a qb coach we Weiss. Weiss. I wanted to say, I forgot the other guy's name.
Minter.
I wanted to say Minter.
I mean, that's got a lot to do with, yeah, I mean,
Cade plays still just as big a part as he did before.
Because like you said, yeah, they got to keep the team glued together.
And, you know, there's plenty of reasons to have a lot of animosity right now so i mean as well as
you know as much as we need jj to perform on the field we need kade to kind of like
you know figure out what you're doing and you know still be that guy because that's tough man
shit can you imagine that like that's hard i don't know what i do right now i would not handle it well no i'd be fucking pissed that's for sure
like it you know i say that like he he you know he can elevate this team if he handles it like
in a positive manner but you know i also from a human being perspective understand
if he doesn't handle it with like all the class in the world right oh
yeah um you know i i get it and you know what i'll say too is like we put out that post uh the
kade mcnamara appreciation post like dude almost 7 000 likes and like almost a thousand retweets
listen i do think that like 90 of this fan base is like truly appreciative of what kate
McNamara brought to the table for michigan and still brings to the table for michigan
um there's kind of a loud little little section of i'm uh i'm kind of gonna gonna ride with don
thomas here for a second i mean, I think we talked about this.
I think I'm going to talk about it with you guys this weekend at the tailgate
or we did it on a podcast.
I'm not sure which one.
But, I mean, this whole situation could have just been avoided
if Harbaugh named JJ the quarterback.
Wow.
You know, right away.
Right?
Okay, but.
Cade Slander wouldn't be there.
Yeah, okay. So, I was actually talking to don about this the other day though wouldn't wouldn't wouldn't people say like oh well k didn't even get a chance then
sure that that i mean that means people still have kade's back
i mean it's a different tune people are singing you know yeah um I don't know I I think I think
that Harbaugh probably selfishly said like I'm gonna let this go into the season so that we
keep both these guys on the roster yeah and he's gotta be selfish you know he's paid seven million dollars a year whatever he is now
to uh to win football games and he probably thought that was the best chance for him to
win football games so yeah i agree you know some people are gonna say like well he should have
given kade the chance to transfer i you know i don't know man like it's it's a cutthroat business dude it's like
you know what you know what the case is when you sign up to be a michigan football or just a college
football player at the d1 level like you know it's the same i said it it's the same way like
that on hard knocks you see cut day right it's like there's no you have
to put your emotions aside and do what's best it's it's a billion dollar business out there
it's true man it's crazy unless you end up like scott frost
jeez scott frost
oh man ways to lose.
It's incredible.
It's crazy, man.
I hope they beat Oklahoma.
I want to put some money on Nebraska for that game.
I feel like it's just so perfectly timed.
Tell me how they're only plus 14.
Oklahoma?
Nebraska's plus 14 in that game. Oh, Nebraska's plus 14. Sorryoma nebraska is plus 14 in that oh nebraska is plus 14 sorry sorry sorry yeah um i feel like that's not that bad of a spread
how does oklahoma look this year i haven't really
i actually have not paid attention to them one bit. Too much. Don't they have John David Booty's, like, nephew playing quarterback?
I remember when John David Booty –
Yeah.
I remember when John David Booty played at USC, dude.
That makes me feel fucking old.
Is that really his nephew?
Mm-hmm. really is Nephew.
They won 45-13 in week one and then beat
Kent State 33-3 in week
two.
I like Venables a lot, actually.
Yeah?
No. They don't have general uh is he the backup i don't know dylan gabriel's their starter oh fuck yeah where's general booty maybe he's a&m
i don't know no he's not a&m too yeah that's fucking wild
App State
there's somebody listening out there
screaming where General Booty's at
into their speaker right now
yeah
oh
General Booty Oklahoma
okay I thought
he's a sophomore he's the backup
yeah I mean Dylan Gabriel's stud
so yeah yeah man He's a sophomore. He's the backup. Yeah. I mean, Dylan Gabriel's a stud, so.
Yeah.
Yeah, man.
No, I think that, like, what do you think, like, all right,
how I'm going to be negative. How does this end badly for Michigan?
How, like, what, like...
Starting game day?
Yeah, let's play a scenario out.
Like, I mean...
I don't think there's a possible way it does.
Wow, that's positive vibes only if I've ever heard it.
Yeah, I mean, like, what would be the bad thing that happened?
I'll come back with something to save the day.
I don't know. I mean, the bad thing that happened? I'll come back with something to save the day. I don't know.
I mean, the bad thing could be like he goes in and plays somebody
that's not Hawaii or Yukon and struggles.
Then you put in Cade.
Can you do that all year long?
Holy shit.
Well, I mean, I assume at that point you would make cave the starter
man i don't know i mean otherwise you got the best quarterback on the team davis warren
lead them out that's true that is i have no bad vibes right now davis is a stud dude
um how about the defense what do. How about the defense?
What do you think about the defense on Saturday?
What did I think about the defense?
Dude, it's so hard to tell.
That team was so fucking bad.
Yeah, I know.
It's hard to judge really anybody.
I mean, obviously, it's more exciting on offense
when there's touchdowns and stuff, so more memorable.
I mean, for me, I can't really think of anything too memorable.
They couldn't get to the QB for whatever reason.
They were stopping them, obviously, but they couldn't get to the QB.
I mean, they didn't obviously give up points until like the end
so it's not that big of a deal
I feel like I didn't see Braden McGregor out there much
we really need to stop drinking
before these games dude
I can't remember any of that
I'll tell you something that I will never do
is that right there
not drink before a game. Not drink before a game?
Not drink before a game.
Something – actually, I have –
I'd rather die.
I definitely have gone to Michigan games sober,
like back when my cousin was playing.
But, I mean, not in a long time.
Yeah, not since you've been in college.
Let's go around the Big Ten then, too.
So, let's see.
Give me something good.
Indiana beat Idaho 35-22.
Who's playing quarterback at Indiana?
I was just looking that up.
Because Penix is, what, at Washington?
Washington State?
He's in that state.
I'm not sure exactly.
I think he's at Washington because he plays MSU this week.
Yes.
Yep.
Okay.
Yep.
Yep. Yep. Okay. Yep. Yep.
Yep.
Connor Bazilek is the Indiana quarterback.
Okay.
So I was watching, side note, a little bit of notes around the Big Ten.
I was watching Big Ten Live today at work,
and I was watching a little bit of the Harbaugh press conference
and a little bit of the Mel Tucker press conference.
Yeah.
I think Tucker said that fucking one of the Michigan State defensive players
won like defensive player of the week, like nationally,
like two weeks in a row or something.
Well, they definitely
shut out Akron.
I don't know.
I thought I heard that. I don't know if anybody's
got anything on that.
Let me...
I don't know.
You could do some research and look it up.
Also, another side note around the Big Ten regarding Michigan.
What was that last running back that was in?
TJ Gash?
Or Vash?
Dash?
Who?
The last running back, number 41.
For us?
Yeah.
He had, like, a sick run at the end of the game.
I don't know. I left at that point.
I think his name is TJ something or whatever.
I liked watching that. That was fun.
Shout out. Shout out you, guy.
Number 41, whatever your name is.
Figure this out.
I don't know. What did you say back to that guy today about cj stokes curious i mean i guess that was an interesting uh interesting thing so he said like from a pure
running uh running the ball standpoint is there a difference between between CJ Stokes and Donovan Edwards?
I mean,
I think so.
I think that like CJ Stokes.
I think CJ Stokes is fast.
I mean,
he,
I love seeing the number 23 back at running back,
but I just think Dono is different,
man.
Like he can do it all.
And he just like the way he runs,
he just runs like he's a fucking machine.
He's going to plow through everybody.
Like I see CJ Stokes is more of like a Vincent Smith type, you know,
kind of a speedy, smaller dude.
Yeah.
Probably more talented, but you know, that that's what I would compare him to.
Yeah, I agree.
I think so.
My take on it was like CJ Stokes is more of like your typical running back
right like um sure definitely has that build where dono like dono has not a big dude that
likes to run he's like a derrick henry type running back i don't even know if that is the
case because he's like more like i don't know dude he's he's like leaner he's like more athletic yeah dude the fact that catch that
he had was like unbelievable like that looked like braylon edwards yeah um i i wonder i know he's he's
like injured now did you hear that well what's the deal i don't know our boss is working through something i'm pretty sure it's a
lower body injury of some sort but um that's low the uh the working through something thing
is usually like he's probably not gonna play or he yeah yeah but like at least we don't need him
to play like i agree i agree but how do we get dono more touches is my is my
question like i think we need to i know but again i mean we talked about this three or four podcasts
ago about the receivers man like there's so many people you want to get touches like andrelle
anthony i think he's called the ball what twice so far this year he hasn't gotten much run at all
because when since ronnie's been back yeah well i mean and roman wilson seems to be
wide receiver one right now yeah dude romans i mean there's just so many weapons
that end around in romans just like blowing by people yeah um speedy dude yeah he'll feel good
against my but again i can't say enough about this offense man the only
thing i will say okay and going back to the game two let's not get too excited but i'm with you i'm
very excited about it but it is game two right i feel like we do this every year you know yeah
it is game two um the only thing that i i i think the offensive line hasn't been, like,
as good as I thought that they would be.
That's what everybody's been saying.
I guess I just haven't paid close enough attention to them.
But it seems like the only guy getting sacked is Cade.
Dude, that was so weird.
So strange.
It was – I don't want to put this out into the universe because i
like don't think this is the case but like it was it felt like okay kade's back here we're not
gonna block his heart it was like they didn't have anything jj had all the time in the world
and then kade like didn't have two seconds to throw the ball. I felt terrible for him in that instance.
I'd be lying if I said I didn't agree with you.
But also there was times when I saw him kind of just like sitting in the pocket.
I'm like, okay, JJ or Davis would have like let this go by now.
You know, I mean, I don't know.
I still think like he's just – his head's fucked from this whole situation.
Well, that pick was –
Again, how can you blame him, right?
That's just tough, man.
That pick was such a bad decision, and he was so much on his back leg,
had nothing on it, and just threw it.
I think he felt like he had to.
He was like –
100%.
I got to get this out and throw it downfield and try you know yeah like
that's the thing right it's like if you need somebody to do that now we i mean we already
kind of did know before but like now you really know like who you can rely on with it yeah
yeah so um
yeah uh i don't know man it's gonna be interesting how it all like how it all
comes together there like i will be really looking at kade's body language on saturday
um yeah it's like because because here's the thing you know unfortunately like when jj was
the backup jj adds a new wrinkle with his legs and athletic ability.
So he's like kind of that perfect backup that you can throw in.
And like, it's, it can't really do that for Cade.
Cade doesn't have a wrinkle really. Right.
Dude, you know what I'm going to love though?
What I'm going to love, love, love, love.
When this happens is because JJ is now Q qb1 it's named it's a thing
when kade goes in people are gonna fucking go nuts dude like the crowd's gonna erupt standing
ovation like i'm calling it right now no question in my mind if kade goes in the game i think the
crowd goes fucking insane i would love that i think they're literally gonna
have to like call a timeout or something because i think this is gonna be so loud in there with
the offense on the field they're like i can't even fucking call anything i think i think it's
gonna fucking go nuts man i like that's like just like right in my heart i feel like that's gonna
happen and if it doesn't happen i will be so disappointed in our entire fan base but i i just
feel like that's going to fucking happen.
It has to happen.
It has to happen.
Should we put it out on social media or let it happen organically?
I mean, I think it'll happen organically.
But we can, I mean, I just want it to happen.
I won't put it out on social media.
I want to see what happens there.
But I think it happens organically.
You're going to the game, right?
No, actually.
I'm going to tailgate, and then I've got a wedding on the west side of the state.
Who?
I know.
Ben.
Ben.
Oh, yeah.
He was talking about that before.
Yeah.
He's an MSU guy.
Having his wedding on a night where msu plays
washington at night tough tough look for ben tough look for ben um but you wouldn't expect much more
from uh from from a sparty you know that's true that's a good point. So, I would love that, man.
That would be, honestly, like the coolest thing.
I swear to God, it's going to happen.
That would be the coolest thing.
That's like my lock of the week.
If I had to put a bet and put money on it, that's my lock of the week.
I feel like there's no way that doesn't happen.
That would be sick.
Yeah. That would be sick. I hope they have some decibel readers out there yeah um and so i i think going forward
going forward like i i think like i said i'm going to be looking at his body language uh
and the reason that i was saying was like jj even when he was the backup and and obviously like when he came out on saturday too
he's the first guy out there high-fiving everybody off the field including he was high-fiving kade
i yeah i will be watching to see if kade does that too and i hope he does um and that will tell me a lot about how he's handling the situation
i think you will i think i think a lot um you know when you a lot of it's just knowing where
you stand right like now he knows he's like all right like i'm the backup this is my role and
he's gonna fucking crush it you know right i think he's gonna to do a great job. I expect nothing less. I mean, he can't be like.
He's not going to be sulking on Saturday.
Like, no fucking chance.
Well, he can't be, like, thinking in his head,
like he didn't get a fair shot, right?
Like, he was a starter in camp.
He was, like, a starter going into week one.
Like, I feel like he has to know J.J. clearly.
Sorry, go ahead.
I was going to say, he has to know J.J. clearly played better.
Yeah, won the job, fair and square.
And yeah, obviously, you're going to be frustrated,
but I just don't see,
just from everything we've seen from Cade so far in his Michigan, like, career,
I don't see him going out there and, like, doing anything out of the ordinary.
I think he's too hyper-aware of what he's, like, doing to let that happen.
Yeah.
I mean, you have to know that all eyes are going to be on you like if somebody's not i'm sure somebody's not in his ear telling him that right now like he needs right
you know yeah and i think here's the thing right here's the thing too yeah you're still a captain
of this football team and you know if you're kade mcnamara let's say you're like in a hypothetical world probably
going to transfer at the end of the year right then you're i'd assume so you don't think that's
no i would assume so he's okay all right um i think that like what you do for the rest of the
year now is your tryout for somebody else to pick you up right so yeah and
they're going to be watching that so i think it it benefits him to um to you know handle things
right be that leader and also like we said you're one play away at all times kate mcnamara one play
away from being a starter again.
And so you have to keep your head in it and have that mentality
in the next man up thing.
So I truly hope that he is handling things in that fashion.
I really do.
Yeah, and I mean, I think if, you know, let's say he does go to the transfer portal,
which we can only assume,
I think he's the most highly sought-out quarterback that would be in there.
Dude, there's fucking –
I mean, everybody's going to want him.
There are probably eight to ten teams in the Big Ten alone that would take him.
Right.
Right now if QB won.
Yeah, 100%.
100%. 100%.
So I definitely think he will be – it's not like – I've seen people –
these are trash people and we shouldn't even give them the fucking time of day,
but people are like, he's going to have a great year in the MAAC next year.
Like, no, he's fucking not.
He's going to play for a Power 5 program that is probably going to – A major Power 5, yeah. That is probably going to be like low-key play for a power five program that is probably going power five yeah that is probably
going to be like low-key competing for a championship yeah so um yeah man i i i think
it's legit we're just uh as fans we're blessed to have two quarterbacks jim said it in his press
conference today about the booze. He said, I hope that
our fan base can appreciate that we have
two really good quarterbacks.
That's why I think that this is
really going to happen on Saturday.
All everybody really wanted was
JJ to be named starter.
Now that he's named starter, Cade's
going to get all his love back.
People wanted to like blame kade
because harbaugh didn't name jj a starter was it his fault no not his fault at all so that's why
i think it now that like once jj's name a starter and like kate's back up when he goes to the game
i'm telling you man i think that i think it's me one of the loudest moments at least in recent history at michigan stadium that would be awesome
i hope it happens i hope it happens speak it into existence i hope so man all right well we'll have
another pod this week um previewing yukon here um it'll be exciting to uh to think about that man like i don't know about you but i'm a
little bit like can we play some real football you know yeah i'm ready for maryland ready for
maryland real not that that's like a real real real tough test or anything or maybe it is i don't
i think it is for our defense i mean yeah it's an upgrade for sure from all the other teams you've been playing.
They've got a decent offense, so I'm ready for that.
I'm excited to see J.J. sling the ball around the field another week.
Yeah, dude.
He's going to put on another show, and it's fun to watch.
It is fun to watch, man.
So, yeah.
All right.
Well, we will have that.
