So often people email us and they have this story.
They're out in their woods and they're looking in the bushes and they go,
what's that?
And when you are pouring your dog food and your dog's bowl, that's the last thing you want to say.
What is that?
What is this stuff coming out of this bag?
You know, I don't think a lot of us think about maybe what we feed our dogs.
And that's why we partner with rough greens.
Most of us would love to have our dogs, you know, live as long as possible.
I just lost my dog in December.
And I would have just, I would have loved more time with Carl.
And one of the things you can do to get more time with your dog is to feed them better.
Dog owners don't usually realize that live nutrients that their dog needs to thrive or missing
from the food.
You just talked about.
What is that, right?
And that's where Rough Green comes in.
It's America's number one dog supplement that you sprinkle on top of their food.
It's packed with prebiotics, enzymes, omega oils, and 20 live vitamins and mineral support
digestion, energy, and overall health from the inside out.
It's all natural made in the USA.
And thousands of dogs are feeling younger, more energetic and healthier than they have in years.
That's why we love it.
I'm giving it to our two dogs.
You know, and I've got older dogs, Nate, as I said.
And so, you know, since they've been getting Rough Greens with their food, I've noticed
they have more energy, their joints hurt less.
They're older.
I mean, they were talking 12 and 13 years old.
And Rough Green's really made a difference in their energy levels and the pep in their step.
So if you want to do what we did, you can get a free jumpstart trial bag for your dog today.
Just cover the shipping.
Go to Rough Greens.com and use discount code blurry.
That's RUFFF Greens.com discount code blurry.
Rough Greens makes any dog food better.
Listen, Luke, we know that we live in a world where everything is fake, fake food, fake clouds, fake news, everything's fake.
And you know what?
You get tired of it.
And you're just like, if I want to buy a shirt or something nice, can I just, please give me something real.
Quinn's is an amazing company that does high quality everyday essentials.
So we're moving in.

All right.
I guess we're doing blurry creatures down here in Louisiana.
Welcome back.
Welcome to blurry creatures, guys.
We're in the duck call room when we're doing a podcast with the Robertsons.
We're talking about all things weird on our show.
We just did an episode with you guys on your podcast.
So thanks for flipping the script here and doing it on blurry creatures.
We got John Luke, Willie, Uncle Sai here sitting down.
We're going to talk about all the weird stuff.
And we're filming tomorrow.
We'll be on your guys' new show.
That's right.
And by the time this comes out, the episode will have already dropped.
and we're here to do Bigfoot stuff with all the weird stuff.
Everything blurry you can come up with.
All your stories, all your questions.
We're here for it.
Have y'all done a show like this on someone else's?
Yes.
Okay, you have.
Yeah, we did one with John Christ, where we did a joint release with John,
and we did one with a podcast called Ninjas or Butterflies in their studio,
where we joint release with them with ninjas as well.
Was John funny when you did that?
Yeah, but I mean, John's been a good friend for a long time.
So he's like, he's always, have you ever have, have been around comedians that are fun.
Yes.
Oh, yeah.
No, John's funny.
For sure.
I love John.
Like, they're a little awkward.
I like to make him a little uncomfortable because it's fun.
But yeah, I mean, that's, yeah, I play golf with Nate Bargetti.
And Nate's a, I don't know you guys know Nate.
Was he funny?
He was the same.
It was awesome.
This is in 2020.
We played a round of golf.
And Nate's huge now.
I mean, like the biggest comedian in the world, perhaps.
But Nate probably didn't say anything in the first five holes.
and about six slowly goes I was just feeling you out
and then he sort of just
started talking and was like
a stand-up. It was phenomenal. So he's super
funny. Stuff on the golf course because he's an
observational kind of comedian. He's a serious
golfer. He played every day in 2020. I mean, I never seen him
later. I'm like, you play golf because I play every day. And I'm like,
how are you married? How does that work? Yeah, I just
play with him. I'm not throwing him run of the bus. But
and I didn't know who he was.
Yeah. I just
I didn't know who he was.
And so we were playing with Dave Ramsey.
And he says,
neighbor Gatsy's playing.
And I said, oh, who is he?
And he goes, he's a comedian.
I said, oh, so we got on the first tee box.
And I just looked at him.
I said, are you going to be funny today?
Which is the worst thing to, you know, and he's like,
maybe.
I don't know.
You know, like.
So three guys walked into a bar.
Well, you know, definitely put that one on him.
And yeah, he was, yeah, we had some.
He's funny.
In our round, we ended up getting kind of rainstorm
and took our shirts off
because we were soaked and played the last three holes.
Like with a comedian, with your shirts off on a golf course.
There we go.
Yeah, in North Nashville area.
That got a lot funnier.
Yeah, that got...
It was hilarious, yeah.
For sure.
That's how rounds of golf go.
It was like I didn't know who he was.
And then immediately after that, he's everywhere.
He's a Netflix special.
He's on foul and he's on the golden gloves.
I was sitting on a plane the other day.
and I was watching two different people watching him on their,
like it was the same thing,
but it was two completely different people.
And I was like,
look at this cat.
It's funny how that goes, though.
Like, you know,
you're just grinding forever,
and then all of a sudden you get your moment.
And then it's huge.
And the heart part is kind of sustaining that.
And people don't see.
I think it was when he played with me.
I think that's what.
Yeah.
Exactly.
I think that's what.
You were the cat.
It was,
yeah.
It was just like that.
Around with Willie.
Right.
when that happened.
All of his material.
He just blew up.
All of his material.
He got new material from that right.
Everything.
He got new material from you.
Like this guy can't play golf.
He found like some surge of confidence like he'd never seen.
Well, guys, Uncle's side still on top, though.
He hasn't gone down at all.
I'm kind of, y'all actually do a show like for its unbelievable things.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So this is how we start with the show, So you haven't listened.
But we're ready for it.
We're like 300 episodes more than that at this point in.
And we ask everybody who comes on for,
from theologians to authors, filmmakers, to you guys.
Nobody is safe, Uncle Syne.
Nobody.
What are your thoughts on Bigfoot?
What do you think about Bigfoot?
Well, people have asked me, does he exist?
And I said, well, I'm not going to be so bold.
It's to say, no.
Right.
It's an imagination.
Because there's too many stories, okay, just like this silly thing right here.
He's holding a Black Panther.
A Black Panther, okay?
We did a whole show on.
on duck dynast you about this.
Because three people
are in a pickup truck going on
Fields property, come around
the bend, there's something in the road
sitting down.
Well, I asked the question,
guys, what's that doing the road up there?
Y'all and they said, a deer.
Well, it was Jason Robertson.
Okay. That's,
you know, his number one
duck hunting son, okay,
for ducks, field.
Okay, so whatever Jason Robertson
and he said if it was a bull.
John Gowman was going to say, yeah, it was a bull.
So it's really only one person saying,
what is that thing up there?
Somebody, you know, Jason said, dear.
So John Gavan said, yes, the deer.
Well, I'm looking at it, and I'm saying, wrong color.
He's black as an ace of spades.
A deer's, you know, gray looking.
Yeah.
So we're moving toward this thing.
We get about 75 yards.
and I'm still saying, guys, what in the world is it?
Well, about this time, this stupid thing stands up.
Okay, and the only thing I can see is a tail running down
and hitting the road and curling up.
And I said, y'all are looking at a Black Panther
and you won't let your brain won't let your eyes,
you know, what your eyes are looking at,
you won't say it with your mouth.
Y'all, about that time, this thing is like a cartoon.
Poop and the smoke, he's gone.
and I didn't even see which direction he went.
I said, which way did that thing go?
And Jay said, well, he went to the right.
And right before he got in them chest high weeds, I saw it clearly.
And I said, well, what was it?
He said, Bobcat.
I said, well, now we're getting somewhere.
I said, at least you got it in the right family.
Yeah.
I said, but it wasn't a bobcat.
So look, yo, that's why I said, yo, people don't understand.
I told people all the time, they say this.
don't exist, the Black Panther.
Well, I've seen one.
Yeah.
I've actually seen two, okay?
I've seen one.
Well, let me correct you.
I didn't see it.
I heard it when I was a child.
We didn't have a bathroom, indoor bathroom.
We had an outhouse.
One of we lived in a log cabin.
I had to go to the bathroom.
It's nighttime.
I'm about how it scared the dark.
So I go there and here's all I hear is.
I hear a scream, sound like a woman being tortured.
and then when I'm running back to the house, okay,
you know, I also hear a baby crying.
I run in the house and tell me,
Daddy,
somebody's torturing a woman and she's got a baby.
You know,
and he just laughed and he said,
oh,
that's that black panthers that's,
you know,
in the thicket,
you know,
pine thicket back here on the hill.
Yeah,
so I've been dealing with pastors.
My aunt actually shot at one
above her house.
I've heard of,
but you got a Bigfoot story, though.
Well, no, oh, yeah.
We'll get to that.
We'll get to that.
But you think Bigfoot's real?
What do you think Bigfoot is?
Do you think it's real?
Yeah, because I actually, you know, as a child, I was what, we had just moved to Dixie.
I was in second grade.
Okay.
And like Tommy, Tommy's the oldest, you know.
This is the closest brother.
I got two older brothers.
One, you know, Jimmy Frank's the oldest, Harold's the next oldest.
Then there's Tommy.
Well, they're off to college.
They're two older brothers.
So it's Tommy, Field, and me.
We're stair-step.
You know, Tommy's the tallest, field next, be there.
We've been out frog gigging, okay, frog, catch a frog.
I had a tow sack full of them.
We're walking.
Tommy's got a flashlight.
He's in the front.
Fields behind him, and I'm bringing up the rear.
Well, I hear something and just kind of feel there's a presence behind me.
So when I turn around,
Okay, something is staring me in the eyeballs.
I would say I was about, oh, maybe four foot tall.
And he's got glowing eyes look like two charcos, you know, red hot.
You know, well then, hey, I not feel into Tommy, we all three fall.
This thing runs by us, okay.
He's up on, you know, walking like a human bit.
He takes off running.
Tommy jumps up with the flashlight, chasing him.
he goes into a cupboard and the only thing we can do when we come up there is we smell a skunk
and there's nothing in the cupboard he's already gone yeah what do you think what do you think is
did you see his face uh did you see his face oh yeah what it looked like hey yes you know an animal
is all like a say it looked like a human or like a more like a man well he's standing up like a human
bit he's looking me eye and eye so hey i think it was a baby baby uh
What did you say?
Juvenile.
Juvenile.
Juvenile.
People have juvenile encounters.
And then people will see him like swinging from trees and other things like that.
But yeah, obviously teenagers are out getting crazy and all species, right?
Well, yeah.
Hey, I would say he was a young juvenile.
Was looking for pals?
Scaring you.
Oh, yeah.
Hey, you know, he was lost him.
Yeah.
Did you see that you saw the Boggy Creek monster?
You saw him.
Sometimes it feels like when you get that phone bill, it's like the crash site document.
You can't read it.
bunch of numbers, random fees, vague language, stuff's blacked out. You're like, what am I actually

Well, they weren't that far from.
Maybe you saw his kid.
Maybe 40 miles south.
Wow.
Could have been the offspring.
A bachy baby, if you will.
So his eyes is glowing red.
They were glowing red.
Looking right at you.
You just felt him?
you didn't hear anything behind you.
I did.
I heard something, okay, that made me think,
uh-oh,
something is behind me.
And when I turned around to look,
we're staring at each other in the eyes.
Okay,
and that's when I just go,
whoa!
And I knocked Phil down,
he knocked Tommy down.
Then this thing runs by us.
Is it running loud or is it like silent?
What,
no,
Footprints?
Oh, no, well, it's dark.
Yeah.
We didn't know.
We didn't check.
What do you think you went to?
They was saying, they asked me, well, what was it?
I said, all I can tell you guys is, hey, we look at me in the eyes.
Did he have long hair hanging off of it or was short?
No, no, see, I swear I really could, you know, it's dark.
The only thing I've seen is his eyes were like charcoal, red charcoal.
We see, we hear that a lot.
No.
They've got those glowing embers, yeah.
Loan embers.
No, look, that means, okay, like now, now if I.
see one today, that means he'd be same age as I am, 76 years old.
Well, maybe I'll have a little gray.
Might have a little gray to him, huh?
Hey, they're like, but I actually just felt like, you know, hey, yo, here, here come three
people walking by him.
Well, he just steps in line and it's just, you know, why would he be following us?
Where are we going?
Yeah, where are we going?
Maybe it was the frogs.
No, I wasn't no frog.
What happened to the frogs?
Did they escape or?
No.
The frogs make or?
No, we might.
Maybe he wanted the frogs.
We had a toast sack tied up full of frog.
Maybe he wanted the frogs.
I mean,
was carrying him.
Well,
maybe he did.
I don't know.
That's a foot.
I like that.
So you're saying he was four feet tall,
about four or four and a half feet?
That's about four.
Four foot tall.
So I figured,
you know,
looking at me in eyes,
you know,
but I just,
you know,
was he jet lag?
There's so many things
that have happened to me like this.
Mm-hmm.
Because look, same deal.
Phil's property.
Okay.
I've seen this stupid thing, okay, and to this date, I never identified it.
Okay, it could have been a small bear black bear cup.
It could have been a turkey full rut with his feathers out.
Or what else?
It was something else.
Or a black cat.
Okay.
And I've seen it three different times, y'all.
I never identified.
I think it was a black panther?
Hey, dad, I don't know.
I just know it was black.
Because here's the thing that's funny about the panther sighting.
Any other time,
Phil would have been the first person,
him and his lab,
to get in his truck and leave and go out first.
Well, the cameraman that day said,
Mr. Robinson,
I need to get some pictures of you and the dog.
Okay.
And Phil's lab weighed about probably 50 pounds, black.
Yet black.
If Phil had left and then we come around and saw what we saw,
I'd have said, well, it's, you know, blue, blue's out, you'll take it a crap.
It's the dog, yeah.
It's the dog.
Well, Phil didn't leave that day.
So that rules that out.
That's wild.
So it's a crazy thing.
but back to the three things that I saw three different times.
Couldn't identify it.
We've got a few emails about Black Panthers in Texas.
Well, I think that's what's funny down here is that's, that's, this is the most controversial.
You could see a little juvenile Bigfoot run around.
That's cool.
You didn't see a Black Panther.
That doesn't exist.
I think it's funny that.
That's the hot one.
Are you still frustrated that no one believed you?
Well, no, no, I just, you know, no, because, you know, it's the bunch I run with.
You got to understand.
They've been telling me all my life.
Okay, that I've never killed a duck with my shotgun, okay?
They're always telling me what I see with my eyes and what I shoot with my gun.
So there are a bunch of idiots to begin with that I hunt with.
Because you have other stories, too, like your shoes caught on fire from the speed at which you're running.
That's right. They melt. He melted a pair of tennis shoes. That's right. Yeah.
Kids, tennis shoes.
Pegasus. He's got the... They're like you same boat.
What are your brother?
say about this bigfoot this juvenile bigfoot story and what are they think what are they
what do you well no no time you know they was asked me what was it i said hey i have no idea old
thing i can tell you it was the same height as i was was going red eyes yeah the eyes shine
oh and Tommy said oh that was just a skunk and i said hi no skunk don't walk on two feet son
and looking in the eyes either yeah and looked me in the eyes i said hey this thing was four
foot tall so they think they you know the theories are the bigfoot has night night night
vision. And so they have these bioluminescent eyes. And they're usually, they'll see the sets of eyeballs
like eight, ten feet up and at night. Well, here's the thing. Anytime your headlights, it's a wild
animal's eyes, they glow in the dark. But you saw them without any light. Okay. I, you know,
right? Yeah. Okay. They were already glowing. And when I made, when I said I turned around and if we
was eye to eye.
It's like this.
Did it go in for a kiss?
Like it went 90, you had to go 10?
You just like not doing it.
It was like your first kiss?
No, well, hey, I, look, I just know it was face to face, okay?
And all I did was throw my hand, knocked the field down.
Tommy, he knocked Tommy down.
We all down and then here this thing goes running.
Maybe it was female.
It could have been Bigfoot mating season.
You could have been hot commodity going through Louisiana.
I really don't know, but it's always.
Here's the thing about things like this.
Okay.
There's never someone to collaborate it.
Well, your brothers were there.
And you never have a camera to take a picture of it.
And if you do, it's blurry.
Not 19, it's brainy.
It ain't clear.
Here was this.
Here's what's so funny about this.
Fast forward like four or five years.
This happened what this duck season.
The guys are driving.
Four people are driving on a side-by-side going duck hunting, okay,
and right where we turn to go down to the lake where the boat is, okay,
something black comes across the vehicle that the driver had to hit brakes.
He was that close to the front of the vehicle.
I can hit it.
Now, there's four different people than this stupid side-by-side,
and they start question, what did you see, and it's all four different answers.
Right.
Yeah.
Y'all, and I said, when they come in and they tell me about it,
said, well, another panther sighting, hunker's eye.
Yeah.
And I said, oh, I said, yeah.
I said, yeah, pull my leg.
And they said, no, this ain't old.
We ain't pulling your leg.
It's happened.
Y'all and I said, well, who's in the vehicle?
They told them.
And I said, all right, what's your story?
And Stone, who's, you know, runs off Willie's property.
all Stone said is a big back cat
But a big black long tail
Sounds like a black panther
That was black panther
Yeah
The other guy right next to him
Then I
You know Jason said
Now it was an otter
River otter
Okay
Because he was like this
This is like the game of telephone
When we were kids
Then the other guy
Martin
Martin said
I don't know
Martin just
Martin just
Do his hands of topology
He said I don't know
well the next guy i love his reply clay he said it was something spiritual
so no no look it gets better so they go and get in the boat and go to the duck blind
so then they hear not one but two something screams
to the left and to the right of them and i asked Martin i said well what was it he
said, I've never heard it before.
And I said, wait a minute.
I said, did it sound like a woman screaming?
The old Martin said, I'd never heard it before.
I don't know.
So I said, you idiots.
I said, I said, y'all be it anything in my life.
I said, there's four of you.
And I said, something runs as far, as close as five feet to you in front of you.
And you can't tell me what it was.
I said, you're either dumb and stupid,
or you won't listen to what your mind and eyes recorded to you.
Yeah, yeah, I like that.
It's like that cognitive dissonance kicks in,
and people will deny their very senses when they're experiencing.
Well, if it's something, they can't explain, it goes back, you know.
Well, I can say this too, South.
I grew up in Northern California, and my grandfather,
my grandma and grandpa lived up in the forest from the way up there.
and I, as a kid, heard mountain lions.
And that's what it sounds like.
It sounds like a woman screaming.
It's terrifying, honestly.
No, no, no, because I thought I actually run in and told my father,
hey, somebody's got a woman up there.
Torching her and she's got a baby with her.
That's what the cat sounds like, yeah.
I mean, that's, to me.
Well, that's a Sasquatch will sound like.
And I've heard, look, I've heard this all my life from all my uncles and kinfolks.
Yeah.
They talked about a back Panther like there wasn't no big deal.
You saw a big foot too, Willie.
What are your thoughts on, baby?
What do you think? Bigfoot is.
What do you think Bigfoot is?
Come on.
Do you think Bigfoot's real?
What are your thoughts on?
You have to connect with your eyes, seen, and your heart believes what you...
It was about four foot tall.

Oh, y'all right down there by the bridge.
Mm-hmm.
Yeah.
By the bridge.
And I walked over and it was,
the moon was lit and I saw something black.
There were cows and,
I mean,
there were, in fact, we woke up in the morning,
the cows were standing right
on top of which was really funny because we didn't really see a lot of cows until we
opened down I looked and they're literally just standing like on the tent on the fire like
they're right up of the air space yeah yeah yeah but I I looked down there and I saw
something and I was like I wonder where is that and but and it like raised up so it went from
four the two and I don't know what it was I don't
It could have been a bear, I guess.
I never saw a bear.
I never saw one down there.
I saw something that stood up on a gravel road, right?
How tall you think it was if you were, you were a guess?
I mean, you're probably at six feet, maybe, you know.
I didn't even think about that because I don't even know if we had any bears back then.
I mean, there's.
There's bears now, but not.
I know, I've said, not never, I've never, recently.
I mean, I've seen the evidence of, but growing up, I never saw a bear.
Because I've seen, because when you said that, I've seen, not watching wildlife shows.
Bears have, if they smell something, they rare up, stand up, look around and see if they can spot it.
Yeah, that's what it seemed.
Yeah.
But I, I was, it was probably.
You wanted some beef.
He was hungry.
I mean, I was in the pasture.
I mean, so we're probably 150, 200 yards at night, you know, with just the moonlight.
So there's no lie.
And this thing, it wasn't a cow.
You know, I thought it.
I was like, is that a cow on the road?
Because it was fenced and it was out in the dirt, right by the bridge.
And it stood up.
And I tore back to the amount.
Yeah, yeah.
I was like.
You think Bigfoot exists?
What are your thoughts on that?
You know, I really.
I want to believe, but what I can't, what doesn't make sense to me with technology now,
with the amount of trail cameras that people have out, you would think,
like it couldn't, something could not be somewhere and not be seen,
just from the amount of cameras that we have that we shouldn't have.
You know, and now we have these, everything that comes through it.
Yeah, but hey, that's like that doctor, okay, that he set out 1,000 trail cams in the Amazon jungle because they had a picture of a cat, you know, the wild cat, one picture.
That's all, ever, ever taken of this, this one animal, they had one picture.
He set out 1,000 trail cams in the Amazon jungle.
it took him 12 years.
He got another picture.
You must have coming through all those photos.
You know,
it's weird.
It's like you're saying,
you would thank with all the technology.
Okay.
But,
no.
You know,
it's weird.
You know it's weird really.
I get move at night.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Because we see deer
on our trail camp.
And then,
oh,
And behold, here's a deer we never seen.
There's all these stories, Willie, where, like, families will move into, like, a rural area.
They'll have a house.
They'll buy a house.
They'll have young kids, family.
And then the kids start telling the parents, hey, something's creeping around the house.
Something's looking at my windows.
And they start thinking there's Bigfoot activity happening on.
And what people will say is put trail cams up and they'll go away.
It's actually a repellent.
People tell you they'll call all the ex-exam.
experts and be like, if you put the cameras up,
the Bigfoot will leave you alone,
because some people don't want these experiences, obviously.
Yeah, that's kind of where this, like,
that's the weird.
Paranormal part kind of comes in, right?
Which is his story, right?
There's all these weird stories, though,
about people's, like, electronics,
like having full, full-charged batteries,
like, and backups for film crews
that are out there looking, and all of them are drained,
and, or the technology fails,
the camera fails, the, which is...
Yeah, that's the woo-woo stuff.
That's sort of, like, our show, right?
It's, we talked about,
we talked about Mike Heiser,
and he famously said it's in our intro,
our show that if just one of these accounts is true,
it bust the paradigm,
and you have to find a way to, you know,
because it's not everybody's lying.
That's what kind of have to come to point.
Like, not everyone is lying.
Is there a misidentification? Sure.
Well, I would say, and even in your story,
like Uncle's story,
is you have this weird kind of paranormal event
before you see the creature.
You feel it before you see it.
Oh, no, no, no.
That's how a lot of people describe Bigfoot.
They feel it.
Supernatural.
Then they have their encounter or siding.
And so what is that?
But people, I mean, I felt since then, though, I was stuck by a mountain land
in California when I was 22, 23, long story, but more or less, there was,
I knew there was something there.
I never saw it until I did.
But that's the problem with cats.
Like, you didn't see him tell it on you.
Like, I mean, and I don't get lucky.
This is a long story.
But I also think there's something to that, like, where we kind of have this innate ability
as humans.
You guys hunt all the time, right?
Where you kind of, maybe you can feel if there's something there.
And maybe it does, I don't know, is it super natural?
Is it just us sort of feeling a presence of something?
Or is it, you're just, you're prey now.
Like, and so you kind of have this instinct.
For somebody that hunts, he's got kind of like a sixth sense of whatever he's hunting.
Yeah.
Okay, because that's like squirrel, okay?
A squirrel is very slick.
What a segue.
In a tree.
Big foot squirrel.
You sit down, you know, you're slipping, okay, and you don't see it.
Well, you sit down for a few minutes and be still.
And hey, there he is.
See him slipping here, slipping there.
Yeah.
But like you're talking about on that thing,
that whatever it was that came up behind me.
Yeah, yeah.
I felt his presence before I actually, then I heard.
Yeah.
Okay.
Because we're walking, we're walking in weeds.
Let me ask you this.
This has ever happened to you again since?
Have you felt like there was a presence of something?
when you're in the woods.
No, no, at dark.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah, I've actually been walking through the woods.
I actually literally had a bobcat
chased me out of the woods.
And I've got 30-30 in my hand.
You were in season again.
No, no, I'm serious.
He got to growling.
Wow.
And I started, because it was getting dark,
I started walking back to the dirt road where I parked.
Well, I could sense him following me.
Yeah.
and then he had confirmed it.
When I'd stop, he had growl.
Yeah.
There's stories like that with Sasquatchwomen.
So then I started picking them up and laying them down like, you know,
hey, let me get out here on the road where I can see around me.
Well, you guys are hunters.
So, I mean, you hear stories.
Have you heard any other stories from other people who feel comfortable to tell you?
Well, here's the funny thing about the black cat.
Back to the black cat.
We had a neighbor.
You love that black cat.
Albo.
Okay.
About two weeks after that, somebody was.
talking to him, he just pulled over
something to ask him
he was our dozer man.
And we need something fixed on the dozer.
Well, when they started talking about it, somebody
mentioned, oh, yeah, Uncle Ty said he seen the Black
Panther. And Albo, he said, oh, I seen two of them
down there on the cutoff, dear him.
You know, like two years ago.
I got a segue talking about the Black Panther.
Well, we didn't even get to your thoughts on Bigwood.
This is also John Luke, by the way, if you're listening.
This also is my theory about
I have a theory about the trail cameras.
And I use the Black Panther as an example.
So that is the thing.
Everyone's seeing them.
So when I was about 17, I was driving home from Phillingays.
And the trees are like real narrow at that time,
or really narrow to the road.
And so I'm going, it's right getting dark.
And I see just movement on the side of the road.
And I see something with the tail.
It's starting to get dark.
So like my headlights aren't on, but it's still kind of light.
it jumps from one out of the trees,
lands in the middle of the road,
and then jumps to the other side of the road,
just in like one bounce.
That's not 12 foot.
Yeah, yeah, just in like one bounce.
And I was like, I just saw the mountain line.
Like, everyone's talking about it.
But we don't see them on the trail cameras.
And like, we got trail cameras all over the place
and people are seeing them with their eyes,
but we're not catching the cats normally on the trail camera.
Oh, no.
and my theory on Bigfoot is one,
I'm like, as many truck cameras as we've got down there
and we're not seeing these Panthers run around,
that's like they're not as reliable
for looking for these as we think.
And my theory on the trail cameras is I think that
Bigfoot, if they exist,
can see the infrared light
that the camera uses to take a nighttime picture.
Because if you look at like,
I just saw this,
It was like a military show.
And it was showing how your phone, when it like scans your face,
like cameras can pick up that light, even though we can't see it.
And I'm like, that would totally make sense.
If the other birds can see infrared, other mammals can see infrared,
if Bigfoot can see the infrared light coming from the trail camera,
he just wouldn't walk in front of it.
And he can.

He could just walk around it because he can see the light.
His eyes are not like ours.
Unless it's Patty.
Yeah.
She's walking.
You saw him.
You looked right into him.
What did you see?
What did you feel in his eyes?
What are the eye?
Blowing red, that's all.
Was it just like, was it like looking at two charcoal?
Hot charcoal, uh, bricks, crickets.
That makes sense.
That makes sense to me.
It really does.
To look, uh, we had one big, big, I mean, it was the biggest bobcat I've ever seen.
Because I was, I was telling the stone.
I said, hey, that may be the, uh, uh, uh, a Mexican jaguar.
Yeah.
Because, I mean, this thing was huge.
Yeah.
And, you know.
It's like you're talking about, I think, I think they do see.
Yeah, I did.
They've got, they've got night vision, they're thermo.
Yeah.
Well, there's a lot of military stories where they've got gear on and they can see
spiritual beings like walking around.
Well, it was like that one that, hey, he told, he told Jason Robertson, his, his
conversion story.
The vet I was talking about that felt the evil presence.
Yeah.
You know, and they've got, they've got all that technology.
these guys are seals, Navy SEALs, so they got the top of the line equipment.
Okay, and he said when he walked in this cave, he said, hey, you knew it was something evil, and you knew it.
And he came to faith because of that.
Yeah, no, no. And he changed his whole lifestyle.
The realization of evil is somehow it works for people.
And that's, yeah, and I think that's the hard part about hunters.
You spend your whole life hunting.
you have a specific, you know,
skill set and tracking animals,
but the Bigfoot stories don't stay in the animal category for very long.
It's something else.
It's something beyond that.
Well, no, he's, yeah, he's definitely, he's a hybrid.
Yeah.
That's what we think, too.
Yeah.
John, look, you have a Bigfoot story?
We talked about this last week when we were chatting.
Yeah.
I'll have one.
I do.
Wow.
Yeah.
Potential.
What do you think Bigfoot is?
They're pulling our chain.
Creatures.
What are your thoughts on Bigfoot?
Okay.
Yeah.
Well, I'll give you my story first.
So I was about 12-ish years old, like 11 or 12.
So we were living out at camp.
And so tons of woods and right next to this big like nature reserve too.
And so like lots of woods.
At camp where we lived, it's like 100 acres.
No one is there 11 months out of the year really basically walking around.
We don't hunt.
We didn't hunt like the woods or anything like that.
So from the time I was like six years old to probably 14, I was in the woods every single day.
Dad can attest to this.
Like I get home from school, I'm running around the woods.
I'm making maps.
So like I know these things like the back of my hand.
So I was about 12 and I was, we were out of school for like a holiday or something.
Because I remember it was like a weird day that we were out.
So I was going down to fish.
It was like in the morning.
And I had my dog with me.
And so we're like walking through like down the little trail, like down to the pond to fish.
It's like a couple hundred yards from the house.
Like not far, but you got to go like through the woods to get there.
And I like, I kind of had that sense.
Like I feel something kind of like look at me.
I stop.
And then my dog starts going like nuts.
Like not barking, like growling like looking around.
And so I'm like frozen and I'm like, you know, just look around trying to figure out what, what's going on, what's making the dog scared.
And I'm like scared at this point.
And there was this huge crash, like a limb that'll probably like 20 feet away from him, like very, very close.
And I'm talking about like as big as like a like probably like six feet long, like a big like limb.
And then I hear like a crashing like something's like running through the woods.
and I smell, while I'm saying there,
I smell, like terrible smell.
And I think it's a, like, a water moccasin
because it's like they have like a smell to them,
like a very specific, like not like a skunk
and not like something dead,
but like a very specific smell.
I smell the smell and the dogs going nuts,
not the limb falls or his throne
and the things run away.
And I mean, I'm like freaked out.
Huh?
Two feet running?
I don't know, like just like a crashing,
like just like a crashing.
Barreling.
Yeah, yeah, just like crashing through the woods.
Skunk game.
Yeah.
And so I'm on like, I'm kind of on like a hill.
So where it was running was like down the hill so I kind of couldn't see it.
Yeah.
And so I'm like freaked out and I'm like, all right, we're like going back up.
So like me of the dog, like we book it back to the house.
And so I get home and I tell my own dad like, I mean at that, I don't know, I have no clue what it is.
And I'm like, we, and again, we didn't have.
have bear in the area. I was out in the woods every single day, never had any, like, even at 12
had no thinking that was a bear. She didn't know what it was. So I told them, and they were like,
oh, yeah, weird. And I was like, weird. It scared me so bad, but I was like, it's just something
weird that happened. I don't know what it is. Yeah. Never talk about it again. So then I'm probably
like 19, and I'm watching a Bigfoot documentary, and it's like the smell, the dogs going nuts.
the throwing things, and I'm like,
that, I think that was big foot
when I was like, well.
And that, I think,
attests to like, it scared me so bad at that age
that at 19, when I heard another story similar,
I was like, oh, that was it.
You guys were all kind of the same age,
which I think is interesting.
You know, there's like, there's like this.
Well, it's, I think it's because, like,
we're all, at that age, we were all in the woods.
So, like, at random times.
Those are your playground.
I've never really thought about it, but what, you know, what could Bigfoot be?
That is the question.
Oh.
Bigfoot's very, it's, the more you get into it, the weirder the stories go.
But it is, you know, this is the perfect terrain for it.
Bigfoot likes, you know, kind of wet areas, a lot of water, a lot of lakes, a lot of moisture, obviously in Pacific Northwest where it rains all the time.
It's a lot of remoteness to.
Yeah.
You talk about impenetrable woods in Louisiana.
and by you.
Well, no, no, because I'm telling you, there's places here.
I'm telling you, you can't crawl through it.
Yeah.
I've tried it.
Okay.
You did literally, until logging people bring in and cut some lanes.
Yeah.
You can't go through some of these woods.
Well, and if you to tell me they don't exist, you're stepping out on a limb, a long way.
Yeah.
As far as I'm concerned.
I think there's too much weird, as Nate said, that, like, to actually, you know, one of the
foremost experts in the Bigfoot space is Dr. Jeff Meldrum. He has the most footcasts.
He can break down the structure of the foot and the way that the mid-tarsal break.
And the way the things work, we joke about it. He's got a butt print from a Bigfoot sitting down.
But he's got all this data, right? But the problem is, again, and this is blurry creatures,
is that there are enough stories of weird, like whether it be Bigfoot disappears or gives mind-speak talks in your head.
And we interviewed guys, there was a Navajo Ranger.
also David Politis, two guys that were investigators,
law enforcement that tracked them.
It's the same thing as the famous Yeti story.
We had Graham Hoyland on as well,
where the footprints just stop.
In the snow, in the dirt, they just stopped.
It's like they can phase out almost.
And this happened on Shasta, this happened on the Navajo Reservation.
This happened in the Himalayas.
They just stop.
And you go, what do you do with that?
Like, those are photos.
That goes back to the old days of when the Indians,
you know they could track or trail stuff you know and and like you tell about it's just you know
here you got footprints and then so what do you do with that i mean it's not one story sire
it's in the snow right this is one not one story these are multiple stories you go something's to that
and then you put into that sort of bucket of stuff you go i mean the the skeptics always say well
where's the body where's the bones if this thing's real we're going to produce it
And it's like, we've talked to guys that said they've shot it and killed it.
And their story is that government entities show up or it just disappears.
They can't find the body.
What are the chances all three of you guys have a Bigfoot story, have an encounter,
have something you think is hot spot baby down there.
No, it's one of them things that, okay, yo, you know, number one, why would I make that up?
Right.
That's always the question, right?
You talked to somebody, Nate and I interview guys.
I'll tell you, if I'm telling you a story, I'll tell you.
This is a story.
Right.
But to have something happened to me and then I'll tell you, hey, I have no idea what the crap it was.
Yeah.
But what I'm telling you is what I remember of it.
And then like he's talking about it, it makes sense because that trail cam has got that little red light on.
Well, and the most famous Bigfoot footage, the Patterson Gimlin film, is on an old
school film camera.
It's not on any of the modern tech.
And so,
why people theorize that that's like actual film.
So you guys have to bring out actual film cameras tomorrow.
And you'll get,
you'll get your big foot on the TV show.
Nope, nope.
You got to go back to Super 8.
I'm not just what he's told me.
Let me get a sign on there,
just crank it.
I don't,
I don't believe it.
Because hey, this thing,
he's been here forever.
Yeah.
He's old.
Okay.
And hey, he's stupid.
Right.
That's just like the animals.
Yeah.
Y'all, if the animals hunted us, we'd be extinct.
They do in some places.
Ever seen the ghosts in the darkness?
I know he's terrifying.

Any stories of the Rougaroo down here?
You know what I'm talking about in Louisiana?
The Rougaroo is like this dogman creature,
werewolf creature of the swamps down here.
You heard any stories of this thing?
I hadn't heard that.
It's like Bigfoot and your Black Panther combined,
walking around, terrifying people.
I had a question,
I don't just shift sort of topics,
I mean a lot,
but, you know, you guys obviously had a huge,
a huge show.
The Duck Dynasty was massive,
number one show on TV.
And you guys are very,
very upfront and overt about your faith.
We talk a lot about,
on our show,
we talk a lot about spiritual warfare,
about idea that like our battle's not against flesh and blood but against
principalities, powers, principles, et cetera.
With being so outspoken on such a big platform with your faith,
did you guys have a lot of resistance in your mind like from kingdom of darkness?
Maybe this is a no, maybe.
On what you were talking about?
Yeah, a lot of people, when I tell them, okay, I said, hey, look,
God is still performing miracles and hey, and so is Satan doing his evil.
Yeah.
I said, people are demon possessed.
I said, half of this stuff you read in the news
about somebody going insane.
Yeah.
He didn't go, he wasn't insane.
He was demon possessed.
That's right.
Yeah.
And they say, oh, you don't know what you're talking about.
Hey, you need to read the Bible.
But like making the show,
did you guys experience any paranormal supernatural attacks?
The reason we asked this is like,
you know, we,
our platform has gotten
fairly big and
we talk about all the stuff
we kind of expose the darkness and see it's the
you know
participate not in the things of darkness but rather
expose them it's the idea that we
are showing what the enemy's doing
and we're exposing the
demonic etc
and I would say like you know
being very pragmatic and practical about this
like I don't I'm not someone who likes to over spiritualize things
but I've had enough crazy things happen to me
since with the show they got laid
that it felt like this is like,
gosh, it's just like a little bit of warfare,
like pushback, like you're having some things.
This could be a shot in the dark,
maybe you guys like, no, it's been good for y'all.
Well, no, no, like you're talking about,
when I talk about God a lot, okay?
And I said, hey, look,
if you don't bring spiritual in here,
you can't make anything fit, right?
I agree, yeah.
If you don't bring God and the devil,
into it, you can't make it fit.
It won't work without it.
Okay?
Two kingdoms.
Because there's too many things that go on
that you won't be able to explain.
We've had some of that side.
Nate and I had fire started our house the same night,
same time, really bizarrely.
Like, I've got stuff on my security camera that happened
like the second year we were doing the podcast.
It was really bizarre.
You know, it's like...
Luke did.
catch something on the security.
Yeah, it's part for the course
and in some ways I feel like
and I'm just curious.
I mean,
because you guys are very much out there
as Christians and
really preaching the end of the day,
you guys are preaching the gospel
to the much people who haven't heard it.
Via a really,
a really entertaining.
Looking back, yeah.
I mean, yeah,
I may have a long answer here,
but I have certainly seen it,
certainly manifested in some people.
like that we're trying to attack literally in many different ways.
And someone could say, well, there's, you know, there's just crazy people.
But interestingly enough, almost always somewhere around religion, it's weird.
Like people would show up or people would be after you under some religious, you know.
Spirit.
Right.
Yeah.
So I've seen that.
However, on the other side, I have seen the lack of what I just really feel like a
protectionary spirit as well to ward all things that I feel like, wow, that should go this way.
But it's like, it's amazing.
It was like God wanted, he wanted this to go.
Yeah, it's like, this is where I want to go.
even from the nature of, you know, as deep as our faith is,
for all the different entities of what it took to bring it to air
in all the different companies and areas in the country,
all the people that would sign up,
it's amazing, like, I guess the short version is this.
Vuta said, these particular companies are going to put a show out
that it's going to end with a prayer that's going to promote Christianity.
I would have said no way, no way.
There's no way that's going to, they're going to go, no, you know.
It's Hollywood, right?
Yeah, I was like, there's no way through, you know,
through areas of New York and L.A.
And I was like, they totally don't agree with this whatsoever.
But yet, what I saw happen was, I don't believe it.
It was like it went right down through Main Street and was put up, you know.
And maybe there wasn't an awareness.
maybe they didn't understand the real message of what was, you know,
maybe it was like,
that's a bunch of country bumpkin, you know.
Some plumbial messages.
Yeah, and then they may have looked at all, you know,
so I've seen both.
I mean, I have certainly seen, you know,
and can look back just personally and been like,
who, man, I, you know, I definitely felt that and felt, you know,
darkness, you know, trying to figure out ways.
but it's very crafty and very clever.
It's not as overt.
You know, it's not as, I think sometimes we want it to be,
or we think it would be so overt.
But if it were, then, you know,
I think if evil just shows you what it is,
you obviously run away, right?
It hides in the shadows.
Yeah, and so there's a way to do this
where you don't realize,
kind of like we're talking about animals.
It's like you're trying to get, you know,
if I'm after an animal,
I'm trying to get them a little closer.
I need you right here.
You know, this is where it's going to,
happen and so um yeah so i've seen both i've seen this weird protection here where i just go i can't
believe you well yeah but we actually had help because when the show was going on and we saw it was
going to be something really big you know phil's oldest son al the preacher called us all together
and said hey look this is going the way it's going the evil one ain't going like it's right
So he's going to attack us.
So we was kind of prepared in a way.
Because he said, okay, hey, look, we're going to have to hold each other accountable.
Don't nobody get stupid and go off the reservation here and get, you know, idiotic.
So we, you know, because, you know, and that's like the protection he was talking about.
We all felt that.
Yeah, we haven't talked about this at all, but that was going to be my answer to the protection that I feel like,
in retrospect came from other people praying for us.
Yep.
Like you, it was so odd and I didn't even realize it at the time,
but how, I even put into words,
how the prayers of other people were affecting
and helping us do what we were able to do.
And it really, when I got off the show
and I had, I mean, you can't put a number on it,
but less people praying for me.
And less people praying for the show
and our family and everything else.
It was almost like I felt that like a loss of that protection.
And not that it's like I'm making a theological point
about like God or protection or this or that.
But I think that it showed me that there is power in words
and praying to God and a group of,
large group of people like directing and helping and praying for something that there is some
sort of spiritual blessing that's hard to put in the words.
We're talking about your paranormal here.
Yeah.
Okay.
Well, God fits in that rain.
Sure does.
Okay.
And like anytime someone tells, you know, you'd mind if I pray for you.
I should, hey, yeah.
I said, because, hey, I need it.
It's just as much as you need it.
Yeah.
Okay, I've got my issues and my problems that I face.
Okay, so yeah, it's a big deal.
And we still had issues, but not the paranormal.
Well, it seems like what Luke and I have found doing our show is that I think there are specific spirits that attack, that pray on Christians to attack other Christians.
Like, I'm sure you've had your run in with weird Christian people.
There's people, there's a great Christian community.
pray for you and give you and love you
and then there's this other side that seems to be
destined to try to bring you down.
Well, no, no.
They don't want...
I don't know how to explain it.
Like me personally.
Hey, if you won the lottery, I'm happy for you.
Right.
It don't make me mad that you won it.
Mm.
You know, I, you know, and that's my whole way of life, though.
I always, I never look for the bad in a person.
I always look, what's just good qualities.
Because we all got our bad issues.
Yeah.
Okay, we've all got our bad stuff that we, you know, that we deal with.
So I always look for the best and, you know, that's why I tell people all the time.
I said, I don't understand you going running with the devil when the one you should be running with loves you enough and you find out what all he's done for you and what he, you know.
So are you trying to say like some people try to bring you down because you have some success?
No, no, yeah, because we've had success.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So they hate you because of your success.
Well, they're jealous.
They're jealous.
They're jealous and envious.
And that's a spiritual thing you think.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And that's that's paranormal.
Like demonic almost.
Yeah.
That they come at you.
Yeah.
What are the burdens you guys have had to carry?
And how has it changed you?
Like during and after.
Well, one of the things, what you were mentioning was I remember early on.
when the show came out,
most of the negative stuff that I would read or see was from Christians.
Yeah.
And it was so strange.
It was like,
so we've got a show.
That's this giant show that highlights prayer, family values,
and there were certain Christians who were like, no.
And the main focus was on TV.
Like, of all the shows you could rant against.
Yeah. And this one is one.
And sure enough, man, it would
it would crack me. I mean, I would just laugh.
Do you feel like that's supernatural, like spiritual,
it's like spiritual attack kind of?
Like, they're being prompted to like.
I don't think it's just human beings.
I think a lot of people are like, I want it.
Or certain people.
It's got to look this way, right?
Yeah, right.
I don't know what, by the time it's releases,
I'm not sure where Russell Brand will be.
But that's like the example that's current to me right now is like,
Russell Brand has a very public and seems to be genuine conversion.
And the people that are more.
most critical and are Christians.
No, no, not that way.
No, that's not real.
This is all a sci-up.
This is all fake.
Well, no, no, that used to be one of our biggest main issues.
We always shot our walking wounded.
Yeah.
The church people.
Yeah.
The Christians.
Yeah, because they will say, oh, my goodness, here he comes again, going down front.
Yeah.
What's wrong with you?
It's supposed to be a hospital for sinners.
Yeah.
Yeah, what's wrong with you?
The guy says
He's willing and admits
He needs help for crying out loud
You know and then you're going
Bad mouth him because he's asking for it
You know, you missed the whole point of religion
Do you guys feel like there's more
Do you feel the responsibility?
I know you just wrote a book on Gospelor
About the gospel, does it?
The success of the show
The feel that make you guys feel
It's just like there's more of a
responsibility
or maybe even a passion.
How does that fall for you?
Because I know that you're,
you're passionate about getting the gospel out,
like that,
and reaching people.
And that's really what the show did,
the amazing part is you created this vehicle
that was funny, engaging,
and relatable to, you know,
to 99% of America.
And they got a gospel message in the midst of it.
And there's a way to do it.
You know, there's a way,
I think Christians sometimes just,
they,
that was a problem with the old Christian.
Maybe they try to do too much.
It's like, you don't have to,
You know, I was like, we've got to preach and we've got to do all this stuff.
And you can give, you know, what we did, which was entertainment.
Like, like, Phil never understood the show.
So funny, like, he never did understand it.
He was like, hey, we need more preaching on there.
I'm like, Phil.
That's, that's, there's another Robertson family with a show.
It's the 700 Club.
That's, you know, like, we're not just going to preach on the, so, you know, it's like, you know, it's like.
I was like, we're just getting interest.
And if someone just watches it and goes, hey, I ain't religious and I'm not some holy
ruddhist.
I like the show that makes me laugh.
Fine, that's great.
You know, like, we don't have to try to convert you just by watching that.
But if you want to know more, you know, I'd love to share with you something more,
something in a book or something where we could go.
But when we're doing this, I do think we're, we were gifted at telling stories.
And there was an.
authenticity there because we didn't go in hoping to become TV star you know and a lot of people that go
to Hollywood that's what they want to do reality show thing right right and so for us it was you know
at every aspect you know as I look back at every aspect there was a someone else was going y'all
you all should you should do that you should put this on you know you guys should be on and
tell this story or do whatever and so we found our way to there and I think it was part of God's
plan. But if it was just supreme luck and we just have, you know, whatever, however you want to
there are no coincidence. It ain't that much luck. I'm just saying if someone chooses to say, I just
thank you. That's fine. And, but if you want to know more, then again, what are the opportunities?
How can we keep trying to tell you the story on where we feel like this comes from? So whatever
the positive things you see in us, we think they come from our spiritual relationship.
shit with God. And so we'll keep, you know, continue trying to tell that story. You know,
Paul said that he was, he said, pray for me that the mystery of the gospel can come out of my
mouth more clearly. That only struck me like, no one knew the gospel better than Paul. Why is he
still asking? Because he knew, he wasn't, it wasn't coming across to people. And so, and I think
there's going to be roadblocks. I think we do that in Christianity.
do you? I mean, the whole nature, when Jesus came, that's who didn't like him, you know,
was the religious people. And that's who he was having. So for me to say, oh, I can't believe.
People don't. Well, don't help me a break. Like, you know, this is, and these aren't even, you know,
this is not persecution. This is not, you know, it's persecution is real persecution that,
that certainly is not someone on line, something ugly about. Online on Instagram.
And I'm like, that's that, you know, and it's been great.
I mean, it's been great.
It was, it's been a great deal.
And hopefully we can continue to find the avenues to continue to get, you know, the gospel
out there even more, which is what I told Phil.
Originally when I asked him about doing the show and he said, no.
You know, and I said, I think it's a bigger platform that we could do what we've been doing.
We just do it in a bigger.
And I think we can get the gospel normal people.
And he looks at me and he goes, you think so?
I said, well, I don't see why not.
and it gives me this is Phil sign the contrary gives me the thumbs up and I said all right
Phil's in we're you know and getting him a part of it was uh was was was difficult and then he was
able to go through pot you know what was so interesting as as much as Phil hated doing the show
he was the first one as soon as the show was over to do his start his podcast I was like this
sucker never checked out that you know he's back in front of a camera and uh because then he he finally
saw the how much you could get the gospel out there in totally different ways than than he grew up
ever seeing that you know he said boys we're on the internet now you know we're preaching the gospel
yeah that was fun to watch him really take that and i think for he and sigh and kay like it was
amazing about duck donisters they were all like mid-60s when it started i mean they pretty much were
like, we're done, you know.
At a good run, you know, we're retiring.
And just think about what has happened since that point, like in size life,
for sure, this guy's like, his paces on every t-shirt.
I mean, man can't go anywhere, you know, and that all happens so late.
And I think sometimes people, I think it's such a testament to what God can do.
And like, because people just think, oh, I've wasted my life.
You have no idea.
Oh, no.
You could have a whole new list.
He wrote 10 books in the past 10.
Hey, that's why I always tell people, I said,
y'all need to look at this crazy old man known as Uncle Sy.
I am living proof that the father, the son,
the Holy Spirit are alive and well
and doing the most remarkable things
with the most unlikely person you could ever run up on me.
So the holy...
Take this idiot and do something?
hey the word is right when he said hey with him anything is possible yeah and it almost didn't
happen the first thing when i took over documented at 30 i was going to fire him i mean we had like
four employees so i would sleep most of the day and like this is when we were running it out of
our living room at mom and dad's house and i'm and i i know i need that's the first thing he told his
dad yeah we don't have any money i'm going to fire your brother
We have no money and I'm like, you know, how does a real company?
And I'm looking over at him and he's asleep.
He would eat lunch at the house.
Then he would sleep for like, we're in there trying to have business meetings.
I'm on the phone with like Walmart corporate.
He's over parting and belching.
I'm like, we can't do this.
And so I went to dad.
I said, dad, look, I think we need to trim the fat here a little bit, you know.
And again, we have foreign.
We have nobody.
There's nobody here.
It's like mom and dad, Jason.
and sighed me.
And I said, what about, you know,
I think we should just move Uncle Sy on down there.
You know, we need to get somebody who can actually work.
And Phil said, no, now leave Sid alone.
He goes, nobody wants to do that job.
He made the reeds at the time.
He goes, Phil said, that's the most boring job ever.
The fact that he'll just do it, like, he said, leave him alone.
Hey, look, they never had to stop because they didn't have reeds.
The man would just sit there.
It was always, I slept two hours of doing.
day but then hey if they needed reed i'd work eight hours straight and it has a reed so i was like okay
i can't all right i'm definitely hamstrung by having he's done handcuffs the son you can't fire his brother
so i'm like okay well let me figure out other ways then we started like i took over making the
video the duck hunting videos and then i was like we can't show him like he's so bizarre and so
and then every time i try to get him to do something
he wouldn't do it like he he would just go like he's like that little frog on bugs bunny you know
just like and then when the camera come over he was like and so they had to hide the camera i put a hidden
camera in and got him doing and i was like there's something in there and uh and then yeah as the show
turns out and then dug down he had a diamond and a ruffin didn't know and i'm sitting there going
i tried to fire this guy the best guy on this show and i was you know so i always say that you
never in your company you have a diamond there you just you got me in the wrong spot like once we got
him on in front of a camera holy smokes they can read that's the beautiful thing about how god does things
too it's like a communal a communal thing his way is the best way yeah it's it's good it's just a great
experience when a group like it's cool with this just doing this podcast it's luke and i having this
and there's people coming around it it's great that you can kind of share the success without any one
particular person or one thing that can kind of bring it all down, you know, like where egos get
too involved because it just becomes so massive, so quick. It's nice when you can share it as a
collective. And I think that that is kind of how God blesses us as a community. It's like we all get
to experience it. We all get to get on the bus. We all get to enjoy the ride. It's not just making
one person or one specific person. And I think that's when you probably experienced it. You guys
know the egos you run into people with egos and it's like that's the one thing that when
al done his speech to us about the devil's going to come after yeah and he he was saying and that
was the point of his his talk to don't go stupid on us with the ego yeah yeah because i i look to jeremiah
one of my favorite verses jeremiah 29 verse 11 god god's talking
You don't know the plans I have for you, not to harm you,
but to give you hope and a future.
Okay.
And that's why I tell people all the time,
I'm living proof.
God has given the Robertson family something, in my home of opinion,
is we've watched him do what he does.
we've said prayers for kids with cancer stage four they're on their deathbed and the almighty look down
and said yep it's gone so i tell people all the time when i'm out preaching to him you don't
believe in him because you've never seen him work i said he's blessed to robinson family we've seen him do
miracle with kids.
Okay.
And it just,
yo,
and we try to repay him
for all the blessings he's gave us
by sharing
everybody we come in contact with.
We share the gospel with them.
Okay.
And like for me personally,
it's been a honor
to be involved in all this.
And you're going to be,
you're involved in the new show.
That's why we're here.
Right.
And so as we're,
get to the end of this.
There's a John Luke there.
Willie,
Sy,
there's a new show.
We were joking,
it's next generation.
Willie and I talked
about a year ago about
Star Trek.
Because my dad's a,
an old school.
He's the original like Shatner.
Well,
he's like me.
And then,
you're a next gen guy.
And we kind of joke,
this is John Luke's next generation.
And there's a lot to talk about it as well.
Oh, yeah.
And there's the film.
The film,
there's a lot of stuff.
There's a lot of things.
We don't know.
Keeping us busy.
the new show is um yeah we're excited i think the time was right and uh kids were excited and so yeah
um yeah you hear from so many people that um that you know making that show and then people come
to you and they they start telling you what what it meant to them or how they watched it with their
dad you know or grandpa when they passed away and then even like people's families who were terrible
and we're like, man, at least we could see someone, you know.
We like kind of live through you guys.
And so it makes it worth it.
And so it makes you want to do it again and continue to try to be that bright light for Christ out there,
especially in entertainment because there's not a lot of brightness there.
Yeah, it's awesome.
This is the perfect time to do it now that me and Sadie and Bella and Rebecca,
I've all moved back and are living together.
And, I mean, the new show is about what the old show was too.
Like, all of us working in the same office and trying to have a business, but having to work together.
And then seeing each other after work.
And, I mean, and actually, you know, for the most far enjoying each other.
You still making reads, Uncle's saying?
You still doing it?
Do.
No.
When I become a big TV star, I walked in and told them, you boys, y'all hadn't heard in the news.
here's the last sack of reads you get i've become a big movie star oh you are
those are the best reads those are the ones but our the episode that we're we're
shoot tomorrow and we'll be out at the point in time we let release this is uh is about
it's about bigfoot is why we're here so we that's really fun to have all these bigfoot stories
but yeah we've talked about this at least for a couple years now you and i at sea island about
you're working on a film um a bigfoot film which is yeah how we met
Yeah, it's new.
And yeah, we, we, I was, I heard this idea.
I was interested with the, um, what's he called the folk?
The legend of boggy creek.
Boggy Creek, yeah.
Yeah.
The legend of the body.
Yeah.
And so this folk monster.
And so we actually went there, uh, teamed up with some writers that I'd know.
And yeah, just kind of having fun.
It's not far from where sign Phil grew up, you know.
I mean, it's literally 30 minutes in the same way.
It's that same kind of area
when I saw the juvie down there.
Yeah, actually around same time too.
Yeah, same time, yeah.
Well, they've been having sightings for.
Yeah.
So you guys are going to remake the film.
You got the rights to the...
We've got the rights to it.
We're going to do a version of it, you know,
kind of a revival.
Yeah, that was like a legendary movie
in the Bigfoot space.
I didn't watch it.
I didn't know anything about it.
But I run into people who sure did.
Well, there's not a lot of great content
in the Bigfoot space, to be honest.
There's a lot of people making documentaries
and movies and stuff,
but every once in a while
there's something that's really good
and someone puts it just like a seriousness
to it and that was one of those movies
that was just like in the Bigfoot community
is like burned a hole in the memory
in a good way and so.
Yeah, so we're kind of in the middle of that
and so yeah and then we were going to do
a TV show about it kind of.
It's incredible.
Got a chance to hang out with you.
He's probably your age out there.
Oh no, he is my.
You're going to run him down?
Look at those shoes on fire again?
I'm going to try to prove he exists.
Because here's the thing.
I've never heard all the stories and legends of him.
I've never heard anything bad about him.
You've got to think about that.
Oh, I've heard some bad stuff.
Nothing was said.
He didn't pay his taxes.
He wasn't bad.
That's for sure.
He didn't do bad stuff, y'all.
But yet he exists.
Well, you know, I'm with, okay, God created everything.
the purpose.
I'm going to try to prove what Bigfoot's purpose.
It's a tall task. You're the man for the job. I'm excited.
Yeah, I am too.
You know, your story resonates with me, Uncle Sy, and I'll be a little vulnerable here.
I remember a friend of mine got me into your guys' show around 2015 when I started listening
to a lot of material on Bigfoot, kind of went through a time of my life where I came out of
the music industry, and I was kind of scratching my head, like, what do I do next?
Wait a minute. You was in the music industry?
Yeah.
I tried it once myself. I had a fan.
And we had quasi success.
You know, we were playing shows. We were getting up to like 500 and 600 people,
but we never really got to that next level.
And it was really just like a time of my life where I just, for some reason,
got really into this like Bigfoot paranormal stuff.
And then it was like there was a spiritual aspect to it that I couldn't shake.
And I think now that, you know, we're here on your show.
you're on our show, we're kind of doing this,
and we're talking about Bigfoot.
It's cool to what God has done in my own life
because I was very at the bottom of the barrel
in terms of why am I here, what am I doing?
Well, this may become a big success
because I got one first thing I got in my mind.
Yeah.
God moves in a mysterious way.
It's like Bigfoot.
And hey, maybe this Bigfoot,
maybe they were going to come,
hey.
Maybe something miraculous is going to happen with it.
We'll find out.
But it already has.
That's what I'm saying.
It already has.
Something miraculous has happened.
Where there's this paranormal creature and this conversation and what it's done for my life
and just kind of seeing go full circle of watching you guys on TV, just sitting in like any other Joe, just sitting on the couch.
And then here it is all these years later of this seed of Bigfoot and this theological thread was kind of put together and changed my life.
I know it changed Luke's life as well, and now we're interviewing all these people that
have these experiences, and it's the most unlikely sort of conduit to have these conversations,
this legendary creature, you know, and just the faith that goes around the conversation,
how it relates to what we believe as Christians, and how we don't, like you were saying earlier
on the previous show, you don't see these things, you know, but you still have faith that they exist,
and you still have, you got to move forward
and you can't always get, you know.
I always remember Donald Sullivan in the movie.
We always remember.
No, no.
When he always said, what you got to have?
You just got to have a little more already.
You just got to have a little faith, baby.
Yeah.
There's not a day we don't think about Donald Sullivan.
I think about Donnie Sullivan all the time.
Well, guys, yeah.
It's so bizarre, though.
It's such a random conversation,
and most people will laugh it off.
But, you know, God does work in mysterious ways,
and he does put things together.
And the most unlikely packages and stories
and how it kind of continues on.
And I like that, you know, when it comes to these things,
you can kind of take the back seat and God can kind of drive.
You're involved and you have these ideas
and you feel passionate about it.
But it's not your vision.
It's not your ultimate creation.
It's like you had this, you started something.
You took over the company and you probably had no idea what was going to happen.
Guess who's the director of this movie?
God.
Hey.
He's the best one.
I like it.
I like it.
Hey, all I'm waiting.
Case closed.
I wonder how good it's going to be.
Well, thanks for being on blurry creatures.
Yeah, I know you guys got busy lives.
Privilege, yeah.
Thanks for me to find with us.
Thanks for us down here.
We're excited to be.
Are we going to find him?
Looking for the big guy.
Hey, I'm going to do my best to find him.
Si, if he's four feet tall, he'd be real sad.
He never grew.
He probably drank too much.
Hey, what if I find out he's the one that stood behind me and we were right out?
Yeah, all these years later.
All these years later.
Or she, yeah.
And we meet again.
It's going to be like that scene on the beach.
You guys running towards each other.
The only human that she thought she could mate with.
Like this guy.
He found one.
Maybe we should just film all that.
from her perspective. There was this one creature that that's ever.
Oh, man. I've got something else on these.
All right.
I appreciate this.
Thanks, guys.
Thanks for being involved.
