Blurry Creatures - EP: 66 Giants in the Grand Canyon?

Episode Date: November 4, 2021

Giants found in the Grand Canyon? We explore an article written in the early 1900's outlining a major discovery found 2000ft up the canyon walls in a cave. Did the Grand Canyon and surrounding areas m...ysteriously become a National Park to protect this site? Is there a coverup that would fuel a much larger alternative history? Did Giants have a place to hang out in the winter? Thanks for supporting the show.  blurrycreatures.com/members Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Starting point is 00:00:01 Luke's so often, people email us, and they have this story. They're out in their woods, and they're looking in the bushes, and they go, what's that? And when you are pouring your dog food and your dog's bowl, that's the last thing you want to say. What is that? What is this stuff coming out of this bag? You know, I don't think a lot of us think about maybe what we feed our dogs, and that's why we partner with rough greens.
Starting point is 00:00:21 Most of us would love to have our dogs, you know, live as long as possible. I just lost my dog in December. And I would have just, I would have loved more time with Carl. And one of the things you can do to get more time with your dog is to feed them better. Dog owners don't usually realize that live nutrients that their dog needs to thrive or missing from the food. You just talked about. What is that, right? And that's where Rough Green comes in.
Starting point is 00:00:42 It's America's number one dog supplement that you sprinkle on top of their food. It's packed with prebiotics, enzymes, omega oils, and 20 live vitamins and mineral support digestion, energy and overall health from the inside out. It's all natural made in the USA. And thousands of dogs are feeling younger, more energetic and healthier than they have in years. That's why we love it. I'm giving it to our two dogs. You know, and I've got older dogs, Nate, as I said.
Starting point is 00:01:02 And so since they've been getting Rough Greens with their food, I've noticed they have more energy. Their joints hurt less. They're older. I mean, they were talking 12 and 13 years old. And Rough Green's really made a difference in their energy levels and the pep in their step. So if you want to do what we did, you can get a free Jump Start trial bag for your dog today. Just cover the shipping. Go to Rough Greens.com and use discount code blurry.

If you were a member, you get to hear this whole show on Giants in the Grand Canyon. And we've heard a lot of stories, and I'm actually texting a guy
Starting point is 00:03:39 right now that dug up Giant Bones in Arizona, Luke, trying to get him to come on the show. Well, you know what happens if you go on the show when you start announcing you found Giant Bones? His said giant bones disappear And or they threaten you with prison time Yeah Alar our friend Roger Saker And his serpent mound In which he may not excavate any further
Starting point is 00:03:58 And like we've heard on this show before Lots of mysterious things happen This is a great story Luke It comes out to the Phoenix Gazette April 5th, 1909 And I've been having fun digging around Some of these archives Chronicleing America.gov
Starting point is 00:04:11 Yeah Sounds like some of the work our friend Travis is doing down in Texas where he documents article upon article upon article that was late 1800s, early 1900s of these giant skeletons being found. Some even in where we live, in the area we live, where there was one here in Franklin, Tennessee, where I call home, found in a well. Where's that well, Nate?
Starting point is 00:04:32 I want to find it. Yeah. I mean, obviously, we've talked to Mary Joyce about the giants being in Catalina Island. So if we look at this, like they came in through Rogers' backyard. They rolled down through Ohio Valley. They made it over to the West Coast. Yeah, and we talked a lot about the. this on our episode with Chief Joseph Riverwind and his wife, Dr. Laurelind Riverwind, about the
Starting point is 00:04:51 Native American lore, like the pre-history of North America. And there's plenty of world tradition with the tribes that we're here about giant tribes. We talked about yellow hair in one of our early episodes. We talked about the red-haired giants out in Nevada. And we have an episode coming up, Derek Holson, and we talk at length about Lovelock Cave and what happened there. And the river winds did touch on that. And so I think it's fascinating that we have this rich history and oral history of these giants. And we would assume that it got expelled from Canaan during the conquest of the Holy Land as we found in the Bible in it. They were here. Yeah, they were all over. They were all over. And they were, you know, and we have
Starting point is 00:05:32 ancient, ancient copper mines in the Great Lakes areas. We have mounds and mound builders and serpent mounds and all the stuff that our friends Judd and Doug Van Dorn loved to talk about. We're finding these things here on our side of the planet. I think it's maybe eye-opening to a lot of people these days because so much of that history has either been erased or ignored in light of a more preferred narrative. The preferred narrative is on the scene again because the Smithsonian has their fingers on this one.
