Starting point is 00:00:00 Are we rocking a roll? Are we ready to rock and roll? Gentlemen. Binyam and Chicker, the jet. I'm ready. Ticket, isn't that great? I do love that, sir. I actually did want to say something about the ticket. We're getting started here.
Starting point is 00:00:10 Another edition, Bob does sports. Ticket went to Vito's today, okay? First time? No, no, no. Well, he was at Vito's with us prior. But that was the first time he came with us, right? Well, that was the first time that he came with us the other day, but he went back today because he loved it so much.
Starting point is 00:00:24 He did the chicken Caesar salad, which you know you've seen it. It's a big chicken Caesar salad. He got three. slices with it. We had pizza last night too. Whoa, did you guys have pizza? We had Joe's pizza last year. So one could claim like, tickets,
Starting point is 00:00:38 uh, appetite is officially back. He said after the hot dogs, he had lost his appetite. He's bad. We watched Harold and Kumar last night and had pizza. I do like how you guys have the movie nights. Tickets actually, he's with staying with Katsy right now. I mean, I do like that you guys have the movie nights. I really do.
Starting point is 00:00:54 Well, he appreciates a good movie, Bob. Not everybody does. I actually, I was sitting next to, uh, if you knew the guy, We're here at the Hermitage Hotel, by the way. Shout out Hermitage. Cousin Scott, he's having us out here. Beautiful, beautiful skyline behind us. If you knew the actor that was sitting next to me today,
Starting point is 00:01:10 I'm not going to say it out of respect for the Ermortage, but if you knew the actor that was sitting next to me and the fact that I didn't, I had no idea who he was. And even when I was told who he was, still had no idea. You'd be sick to your stomach, Joseph. It's on brand. I can hear about that later. Yeah, it'll come probably right after the podcast.
Starting point is 00:01:25 But in the meantime, ladies and gentlemen, Bob the Sports Podcast, number two, we're back. like, comment, subscribe, join the rocket ship. I loved the first podcast, and you know what? Like we said, we're here to play ball, gentlemen. I love the podcast concept when we go on a trip, whatever it may be. Just to have it, I think it's fun. I mean, yeah, it's a good time.
Starting point is 00:01:47 I think the cool thing will be, like, if we start to play with some golfers and different people to potentially bring them on, would be really neat and do a little collab, like interview kind of session, would be really cool. And then I think like I think we mentioned it last time There's just so much that is behind the scenes every episode That people really don't get to witness And I think a lot of that can be encapsulated within this podcast And kind of give you a more full spectrum of each episode Which will make you appreciate a little bit more of Bob to Sports
Starting point is 00:02:17 And what we're all about And get to know us a little bit better I mean you see us on the pod you know on the episodes and like you know You have a good sense but you know we're not sitting and talking and you know Things like that I mean, I think it's a, it's just a little bit of a behind the scenes, you know, different level of, of, you know, us to you guys. I've, I'm honestly not doing this for a merch plug by any means, but I've never seen a bucket hat fit somebody better than the way it fits. Like that thing.
Starting point is 00:02:46 This just became a new thing. No person never seen you wear bucket hats. Yeah. It's perfectly. I put, I hadn't, you know, it's weird. I like, you'd always wear them. I just never even put it on my head to even look. And I think I put it on like two nights ago.
Starting point is 00:02:58 and I slept in it last night. That's how good. The video of Perez in the pool with that bucket on, unreal. It just seems right. I was in the elevator. I was like, Gilligan, you're on the wrong island. Perez, we're at a five-star hotel now. And again, my cousin got to set up.
Starting point is 00:03:17 Shout out, Scotty. Shout out the Hermitage here in Beverly Hills. Watching that Perez in a five-star hotel. Because we don't say in five-star hotels often to watch this. guy waltz around this place. He takes advantage. Yeah, and like when he came... I said that when we came back from dinner, like
Starting point is 00:03:33 they remember everybody, so they're like, oh, welcome back, Mr. Stuby. And it's like, hello, you know? How are we? I just envisioned this show in like two years of Perez has to come out here for like a month on end and he would just be running L.A. Perez is just the mayor of L.A.
Starting point is 00:03:48 You know, like that scene in Seinfeld where Kramer walks down the street and knows everybody? I just envisioned Perez walking down Sunset Boulevard just saying hi to everybody. while in an Aston margin. Yeah, well, it's a huge mistake Bob bringing me here because now I expect to stay in this sort of accommodations
Starting point is 00:04:04 every time in the town. So you set the bar way too high. Even just the guests, like just watching Perez walk around in the bucket hat. It's like, it's pretty tremendous. I think people are looking at me in my mind because I look good in the bucket head. I'm pretty sure it's like, what is that guy?
Starting point is 00:04:18 And what is he doing now? Perez, he was so tired waking up this morning. We were coming down for breakfast. The elevator opened. It wasn't our floor. There was a guy on the elevator with us. He went out the elevator, realized that he was on the wrong floor, came back, and was about to go out again.
Starting point is 00:04:31 Like, he was delirious. He had no idea. Perez was so disoriented for breakfast. He ordered a green smoothie. Proceeded to drink it and said, that tastes terrible. And I, I think... Not because it's a bad smoothie, but it's because there's no way on earth that I'd ever like something like that.
Starting point is 00:04:46 It's so off-brand. Like, if I was a betting man, Perez ordering a smoothie, a green smoothie, for that matter, for breakfast would have been like plus 55. thousand. Like I would never have done that. Made somebody some money this morning. The fact that he literally put a $20 smoothie on our check and then he was gone. And he went to
Starting point is 00:05:04 Bel Air Country Club to go to home. Pres is not a smoothie guy. Yeah, no. I actually love a smoothie but not like a kale smoothie. So why did you get it? Give me like a McDonald's like strawberry smoothie. That's really just a milkshake. Yeah, we've been hitting the Chick-fil-A milkshakes after every single round. And by the way, that was off-brand for Perez.
Starting point is 00:05:20 Something that I do want to mention. Because I don't know what people are expecting time-wise on the podcast. The first episode, where we sing happy birthday to the jet and he walks off the podcast. I didn't plan to end the episode. I think, I mean, I don't know if you were planning, but we had pushed, what was that, 40 minutes? 40 minutes.
Starting point is 00:05:38 That's like, that's good timing. I actually, maybe I just bailed everybody out, though it was a great episode. You were having a mic drop and walked off. Well, I told you. With Binyama and Shicker. What's up? It's the Jets show. Yeah, I didn't, I mean, also, I've been, I've been pretty quiet on this one because
Starting point is 00:05:52 I'm pretty gas from the last five days. and also I'm looking at the pool in that direction. I'm slightly distracted. By the water, of course. It's so blue. It's some blue-ass water. And I just, yeah, I'm a little out of it. It has been a really strenuous week.
Starting point is 00:06:09 I mean, for people listening, they'll be like, how is it strenuous to golf? But, like, we have tried to jam pack as much as possible in five days. We've gotten, what, nine videos jet, I think. I am not distracted too. Trying to be on and just dialed in. And, you know, we're not the best golfers. Perez is a good golfer, but Bob and I, we have our fair share of, you know, blunders on the
Starting point is 00:06:30 course. But just trying to be dialed in. It's the middle of summer. It's been hot. I mean, I think we're all just tired, but I feel like overall, the videos that we have coming out that we're going to be able to provide in the next couple months are going to be just absolutely entertaining, funny as hell, and just a great time. I'm excited about them.
Starting point is 00:06:48 Yeah, Jet even said something to us, which I was shocked about to where I thought the sun was getting to him. Jet actually said to us because Jets in two of the videos we played a tour, our first tournament ever that we've ever played in all together. Jets said to us, he's like, I got a lot of respect for what you guys do. Because I think by that second video, I mean, mind you, the sun was beaten down. That was the son talking. I mean, I'm not a big, like, Ataboy guy, you know?
Starting point is 00:07:11 Yeah. I don't, like, hand them out. But I think everybody, like, there was a point in the last day where I think we realized that we, like, killed it the last, at least in terms of content. And it was more so just like everybody just brought their A game. And I think it was, it was just like, also I was playing in the last video and it's a grind. Like I never like gave you guys a credit for, I mean, I know God, like it's horrible. You play golf all day and I didn't hear you.
Starting point is 00:07:40 What was that? I said it's so horrific that you guys have to play golf 18 holes, two videos every day, the suffering you guys go through. But, but I, it was harder to do what you guys did yesterday than, what I normally do with the camera. Wow, I love. Oh, ladies and gentlemen, just throwing around a little bit of love. It's some love here.
Starting point is 00:08:01 Yeah, with that being said, I'm taking a two-month vacation effective immediately. I think we could actually mention, I mean, because I think now looking back on it, it was hysterical because it's classic jet and we love the jet rants. We had planned out six-day, six-day trip or whatever, and Perez put it into the group chat,
Starting point is 00:08:19 Perez suggested that we play LA Country Club a day without filming LA Country Club. Club, of course, Presno was like the number 17th in the country. Yeah, having the U.S. open next year. Yeah, and so... Nice course. So we would lose a day of filming and the jet went
Starting point is 00:08:33 on and it went nuclear. All time, race. Like, you fucks, don't take this shit seriously. I'm doing the goddamn work. If you think we're going to take a day off, you got another fucking thing. You're flying out here to work. Don't forget that. It was.
Starting point is 00:08:49 A little bit of a meltdown. I stand by everything I said. With that being said, I probably should have come from a different angle. I was serious. I mean, because this was going to be a huge trip, and it worked out pretty successfully for everybody. So, you know. While we're on the topic of just talking about everybody doing a good job, a huge involvement, the ticket has been absolutely killing it. He is good for the ticket, ladies.
Starting point is 00:09:12 To the point where he was in the tournament yesterday and filming because Jet was playing. He did not have a cart riding on the back of our cart. He fell off. He had a moment. where he jumped on Bob and Perez's cart. And I don't know what Bob did, but Bob thought it was like Tokyo Drift or something and took off, made a sharp turn.
Starting point is 00:09:31 Ticket was on the back, went for a tumble, and managed while he was falling in Tumbleweeting to hold the camera up to avoid any damage. I mean, it was one of the most wherewithal, like just heads-up plays I've ever seen. So Ticket, just a great job. He's been a great addition to the team.
Starting point is 00:09:49 He had been on our cart the whole day. In my defense about the cart, Ticket was on the back of Jet and Cutsi's cart. The entire day he was hopping on the back. And by the way, I think the GoPro was on. Jet, I hope for the editing, we can see him. Yeah, now the ticket's okay, of course. Well, yeah, he said his back was sore this morning.
Starting point is 00:10:11 I do want to see the footage because Cutsi made it out to me. He rolled over five times. I didn't even, we were driving. Cutsi did the classic while he's driving them like, whoa, whoa. And so I didn't think it was necessarily like I thought maybe it was like a you know an ant on the on the cart But tickets you are now referred to as an end No no I thought Cutsi was overreacting to something nonchalance.
Starting point is 00:10:32 Oh well yeah, that checks out But then I looked up and I saw a man bounce off the ground off his back It was a big time I mean yeah You might want to pay for a massage for ticket It's a very least Or maybe a salad and another three Bring him back to Vitos I'll make it a full pie
Starting point is 00:10:50 I'll take care of the room Yeah Another thing too Which we don't get to say often A lot of besides Fat Perez A lot of Good Good esk shots On this trip
Starting point is 00:11:04 That in particular day I think Giuseppe D played some spectacular golf this day Perez does what Perez does The jet was rolling the rock He was And we don't You know it's always
Starting point is 00:11:15 We're always gonna have fun regardless it's always more fun if we're hitting good shots. This in particular tournament, there's some really cool shots. And also, FAP Perez with the drone is an upset that nobody saw coming. It's a game changer. Big drone guy now. It's like, it's an extension of my hands now. Like, I have that thing up and I'm like, give me, give me six seconds.
Starting point is 00:11:40 Bang, bang, bang, all right, you're good to go. And I'm like, I'm going to do a flyover, get it behind the green. And, I mean, those ones I have it behind the green, we got some good stuff. I'll tell you the first hole we played yesterday. So I guess it was kind of a blind shot. So when we hit it, I mean, the drone, you had the drone up in the air. So we hit it, we got to the ball, it was off the green. When I watched it back last night, you missed an albatross by an inch.
Starting point is 00:12:01 And we would never have known. The drone is a game changer. Yeah. It is. I also seeing just how, what was amazing to me, how comfortable he was with the drone. I mean, think about it. He's playing scratch golf. He's flying a drone.
Starting point is 00:12:15 Yeah. And he's also entertaining at the same time. It's the most, like, it's ridiculous. I played a lot of Call of Duty in my day. He still do. Gaining the fat press on our Bobda's sports team, like mid-season, is like getting Juan Soto for, like, a contending team. It is absolutely just like a huge, huge acquisition.
Starting point is 00:12:38 And the fact now that we're going to get them in more videos is just going to elevate, first of all, the level of play. And I will say when you play with someone who, is better. And I don't know, you guys can attest to this or not. When I play golf, when I play with somebody who's playing good golf, it oftentimes, it forces my game to elevate.
Starting point is 00:12:56 If I'm just playing and we're just all hacking it around, like, I will play to the lowest common denominator. But when you have somebody who's racing the game, I think it's a little bit effective on everybody. And I think we saw that yesterday, we saw some good shots. I think two videos are going to have some really
Starting point is 00:13:12 entertaining shots. And like you said, Bob, when we're playing golf well, It's just a bonus. It's like a cherry on top because we don't normally play really good golf. So, you know, hopefully as we keep getting, you know, more and more into this and, you know, Bobda Sports, you know, kind of develops more. We're going to see more and more of that coming to Bass. Yeah, I wonder, too, like, Fat Prez was such a obvious transition into Bobda's sports.
Starting point is 00:13:37 Like, it was just like a no-brainer. And I do wonder, you know, like, Jet, you'll always bear forth. But at the same time, too, you're always, like, producing. I'll go fuck myself. I knew that was going to. I knew. Is that J.J. Watt over there? But, Jet, you know what I'm saying to where you've got a lot going on.
Starting point is 00:13:57 So you can't always be there. For the fourth, we don't always have ticket with us to where I wonder, you know, you look at a lot of these channels. FourPlay has four people. Good Good has 55 people. Love. Love. All love. You know, I wonder if we bring in more people.
Starting point is 00:14:13 And I just think in order for us to bring in people, correct me, I'm wrong, fellas, but I think it has to be just the most natural transition. I don't want to go out and look for another guy. We have such a good synergy between the four of us that I think it's really hard. Like sometimes if you try to force something and bring another person in, it can mess that up. That energy that we have. We're like a band of brothers. We get along so well.
Starting point is 00:14:35 We do have our occasional tiff here and there. But like, generally speaking, we get along really well. And we're spending a lot of time together on these trips. So for me anyways, it's got to be a no-brainer if it's somebody. that we're bringing back on the squad. Otherwise, I think what we have right now is just like this perfect nucleus. No for us? Yeah, no, I think, I think fourth, it's logical, right?
Starting point is 00:14:54 Golf is foursomes. That's like the natural, like, group in the sport of golf. But to your point, Bob, I think we'll know. Like, it'll be obvious to us when, like, that person comes around. And I don't know how it'll happen. Like, it's very random how I came into it. You couldn't make it up, right? So, like, in that regard, like, could that ever happen again?
Starting point is 00:15:12 Like, who knows? Like, so many things fell into place. But, you know, not to, you know, pat my own back on that, because there's nothing to pat, but I think, I think for now, three isn't, isn't like the worst thing in the world, right? Because, like, we can round out a foursome with a guest, right? Whether it be an athlete or celebrity or somebody else in golf can complete our foursum, we can do three v1 matches. It's not like the worst thing in the world. We're not like, we're not like desperate to find, you know, that's the other thing. We're not desperate to find a fourth.
Starting point is 00:15:43 I totally agree. We were even talking about it the other day of just how it'll come natural. But at the same time, too, like, for example, we could say it now, I mean, because it's going to be passed by the time we do it, but we're set up to play with Bryson D. Chambot, which is going to be incredible. Hopefully he'll come on the podcast, but we're expected to get two videos with him. If we did a three-verse-one scramble, or maybe even we add the jet in, but even if we do have that fourth, like with Perez being pretty much a scratch golfer, if we do the 3V-1 first, the pros. Those guys are different. He's still going to dust us, Bob. He's certainly the favorite
Starting point is 00:16:20 in a three-v-one. But don't we have, I mean, you would think, though, if we're playing with the scratch golf, are you throwing Joe? Yeah. Because you could throw in myself, but we will at least have a shot. I almost feel like it makes it a lot of harder. We'll have a shot. Like if we all play well, right, we can do it. Because I mean, you know, we've gone five, six under on nine holes as a three-man scramble. And you know, and we could, I think, you know, it's not like the six under was like, wow, that's the best we can do, right? So six under for anybody, even a touring pro on nine holes is a good nine, right? So if we play great and we do the best weekend on a three-man scramble and they just play kind of decent three, four under nine, you know, if they played appropriate T's and we played appropriate T's.
Starting point is 00:17:01 Yeah, I mean, it's not going to be a blow out either direction. It's going to be good to wall. It's going to be fun. It's going to be competitive. I think three is the perfect number. I honestly, because it's different, right? Everybody has four or two-sums. It's different and it gives you that.
Starting point is 00:17:16 We've seen it gives you like a four-man scramble like is cool. But if you can beat a pro and a three-man scramble, it's even more impressive. For sure. And you three are so intertwined and like, and so have such good chemistry. It just flows perfectly. I think three is perfect for now. But then at the same time too, like Katsy, when we played, you run into like when we played Bo Hossler and obviously fat person there. But big wave, Dave is caddy is a stick.
Starting point is 00:17:39 Yeah, he's going to bring that up. There was nothing. At least as good as me. He's probably better. There was nothing we could do. Yeah, I was going to bring that up. I think the way to go about it is we got to treat it like we're in a tournament. Like we're playing like three-man scramble and kind of just not even acknowledge,
Starting point is 00:17:53 like not focus on the pros play. Because I think that that gets you intimidated. So like if we go on the T-box and we watch Bryson hit a 350 drive, that's going to be really like discouraging and intimidating. I think we just need to focus on like, hey, we've played, you know, three-man scramble. We've gone three-four under, like Perez said. Like we can do that. Right.
Starting point is 00:18:13 We just focus on our shots. I think it gives us the best chance. But sometimes it's really hard. Like when we played with Bo, he made a couple shots. It's just like, holy shit. It's just so unbelievable. And you just don't recognize it until you play with them. You go to the tournaments.
Starting point is 00:18:30 You watch these guys play. You appreciate it. But when you play on a regular course with these guys, I think to me that's when it all unfolds. It's just like how good they are. I mean, they're shooting these numbers that they're shooting on TV in tournaments and these courses are set up
Starting point is 00:18:46 as hard as they can be as long as they can be when they go out and just come to your club and play like the men's or like the tips 7,000 yards. It's like a cakewalk. Yeah, these greens are slowed down. They can get super aggressive, they're soft, they can go crazy, they can go off.
Starting point is 00:19:03 So it's like, yeah, these guys are good. They can shoot 66, no problem in a tour event. They come out to your club, they're looking at breaking 60. That's how good they are. Yeah, which is I mean, maybe the Jet gets the nod against the guy. I mean, Bryson's not only just in the tour. Jet could absolutely be the X factor.
Starting point is 00:19:20 Can you imagine, like, me and Bryson, like, facing up? You could at least make him uncomfortable. And I'm, like, asking Bryson, I'm like, what's the slope on this screen over here? The stint meter. We just have Jets stare at him. Yeah, yeah. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:19:33 That could work. We'd get along, to be honest. We're going to find out. We're definitely going to find out. I'd like to say something. Go ahead. Just on the topic of good play. I got to give some credit.
Starting point is 00:19:42 where credits do. I'm a credit where credits do guy. Giuseppe D. in the flat stick right now. He is rolling the rock. I mean, he's putting well for anybody. And, you know, he can put, you know, the old Scotty, the old faithful Scotty, he was great sometimes, but it was cold a lot of
Starting point is 00:19:58 times. The dude is he's a two-put machine and to the fact, like we're playing golf today, like a casual round of golf today, he's getting super aggressive with his first putts because he's not worried about the four or five footers coming back. So I'm seeing him like attack these first putts for birdie, even an eagle putt today, and he's just nailing these four footers in. And that makes
Starting point is 00:20:17 golf so much easier, Joe. It doesn't not. It's really mental, too. I feel really good. I got this new putter. Shout out to the crew golf guys for hooking me up. And, I mean, they actually gave me a pointer in a DM. They said when I was putting, like, my wrists were, like, way tight to, like, my stomach and to, like, put my... Yeah, get a little space. Yeah, to basically, like, push my arms further out, which would give me more of, like, that pendulum kind of swing. It's, so, and just a small piece of advice, but I've been trying to focus on doing that, and this putter is, like, custom made for me, and I feel great with it. It's just like, I feel like I can make putts. And even in the tournament, Bob, like, there's putt's, like, there was a couple times,
Starting point is 00:20:55 like, I'm looking at the putt. I'm like, I think I can make this. And I've never had that mentality before. So I'm glad that you recognize, because I think moving forward, if I keep putting better, it's going to help Bob. It's going to help all of us, no? Well, I think it's, I think it's a, it's a, it's a lesson to people that, you know, they want to play better golf, and they go out into the driving range and they grind. They grind on their swing. They grind on drivers. They grind on their irons. And a stroke is a stroke. A putting stroke is just the same stroke as an iron is. Like they all count the same. And when you can get the putter confident where you knock three putts out of your game and give yourself chances to make your first putt,
Starting point is 00:21:32 your score is going to go down so quickly. I mean, putting is so crucial. And people don't, you know, don't spend the time that they should to get better on that part of their game. And I'll acknowledge it's not exciting you don't want to like go after work and go to the putting green and put for 45 minutes you'd rather go to the you'd rather play nine or you would rather go beat balls in the range i get that but if you if you're really serious about getting your game better and you're like i don't understand why i'm not getting better i'm going the range every day well stop going the range go to the putting green get some confidence on the greens and you'll see the difference yeah it's funny what you said even like with the confidence thing as far as like joe like
Starting point is 00:22:09 really going at the hole because like i feel like so many times when you're you're going bad or at least know when I'm going bad, I'm thinking don't blast it over the hole or don't leave it like sure. Like I'm always thinking like just get it around the hole. So you're thinking about missing it. Pretty much. It's exactly right. I mean, that's what you're doing. That's the potty. You should see me with an iron in my hand. Yeah. It's, and like you said too with the comments, like that one helped out for you. But I'm so nuts that I like if you put your swing on Instagram, there's like a thing in golf or like no matter what, even if it's the most perfect
Starting point is 00:22:39 swing. You're going to have so many people DM you. about your swing. Does tips come through IG DMs? I listen to every single one of those and I got like Oh, you can't do that. Yeah, I got like eight DMs in my head. Oh, no.
Starting point is 00:22:54 Yeah, it's rough. The famous time when you listen to that random single was Twan. It's correct. He played a round with Perez with the guy named Twan. He had never met him before and the guy reconfigured his swing
Starting point is 00:23:05 at Rancho Park in one round. And for the next month and a half Bob couldn't hit a Twan. Twan, the financial services representative. I mean, and I said, why would you listen to this guy?
Starting point is 00:23:16 He's like, well, he was a nice guy. I was like, yeah, you changed your swing up. Bob will listen to any, any advice you're going to give him. Like, he'll give a shot, which is respectable. He's not wrong either, too. He's like, he's not exaggeration. I couldn't hit. One thing if George Gancis gave you some advice
Starting point is 00:23:31 or somebody like that, it was like a random single that you played with at a municipal course. It's like, yeah. You know what you're doing, right? is to get shallow. That's the only advice I do. Jet loves talking about getting shallow.
Starting point is 00:23:45 Jet even talks about, though, like, if you watch Jet swing, like, he's watched and bet, I don't even say, he's bet on so much golf and watched so much of it that he knows, like, the motions of a golfer. So, like, if you watch Jet take a practice swing, it's one of the most pure practice. I have a nice practice. I do.
Starting point is 00:24:03 It's a nice practice. It's a world-renowned. It's a world-renowned. It's a world-renowned. It's a world-renowned practice swing, and then you get up to the actual swing, and then everything, you know, You forget about it.
Starting point is 00:24:12 To get shallow, you forget everything. But when you hit the first T and I take my first practice swing, if I'm playing with strangers or something, they like start looking and they're like, oh shit, like he's going to hit it down the fairway. It's like me and you the first time we ever played golf. I feel like I got a great practice swing. I'll never forget the first time I ever played with Bob.
Starting point is 00:24:28 He hit me up. He said, you like golf? I said, yeah, of course I like golf. He said, well, let's golf sometimes. So we got around at Rancho Park. This was like four years ago. I remember I showed up in my all red outfit, which you were.
Starting point is 00:24:41 you literally I was walking up towards the you know from the parking lot and Bob saw me took his phone out and instructed me to turn around and walk back towards him content guy and I had never seen anything like this and I said what do you mean he's like just turn around and walk back so as I'm walking him he's filming me and talking into the phone and I didn't know what he was saying but by the way I will say and sorry to interject but with the cutsie thing mind you that's the first day that I played golf with him people think that like his outfits are like a bit It's not a bit. Like those outfits were there
Starting point is 00:25:11 before Joey Colchus was Joey Colcots. He was all black today like he was a long drive competitor. It looks like he's got a crazy like golf shaft like those long. Yeah, I'll never forget. We get to the first T-box and Bob's there and he's like, just so you know, I'm a terrible golfer. And I said, it's fine. It doesn't matter.
Starting point is 00:25:30 You know, like I'll play with anybody. I'm not exactly like a great golfer myself. And so I look at him and he's on the T-box and he's swinging like practice swings and I'm like, dude, that looks good. He's like, once a ball gets there, it all fucks up. And I'm like, no, that's not, that's not. And sure enough, the first shot he took, the ball was there. It was like everything he had done in the practice shot completely went out the window
Starting point is 00:25:51 and the thing was shanked off to like the driving range. It was bad. Golf needs a name for that because I feel like there's a lot of people where like that is the case where the practice swings looks so great and then it all falls down. But people don't realize too, like I've only been playing for like four years. So like you've improved significantly, Bob, and people notice it on YouTube, the comments I hear. Like, your putting has improved. You sit in the ball further off the team.
Starting point is 00:26:16 You're putting the time in. And four years is really not much at all. And I think there's a lot of improvements still coming your way. I think, you know, you're starting to break into the 80s. And like, you know, I think it's just the biggest thing. And Perez will note this is consistency. The difference between someone who is, I would consider a good golfer and someone who could put up a good score is, is the mentality, the consistency that they play each shot with.
Starting point is 00:26:42 Which is why, if you're watching me in YouTube, I am absolutely the worst prototype to go by because I fly off the handle, but I'm very passionate about it, but monitoring how you are and how you approach each and every shot and not focusing just solely on the score, I think will ultimately lead to better scores.
Starting point is 00:27:02 Yeah, you're 100% right. I mean, if you took, like, if we all hit our best seven irons, like best seven iron swing and you put it together like they're not that far off like your best seven iron his best seven iron my best seven iron they're all great shots right it's just some people can do them do that more often than others right so i mean that's what it's about like and that's just it's just practice that's reps that's confidence there's just no substitute for that but yeah you're 100% right about consistency everybody's got the shots for the most part when you play enough um you just got to do it more.
Starting point is 00:27:35 Yeah. Also, too, I mean, like, with Perez is like the prime example, you could look at Perez on any given moment during a round, and he could be 15 under or he could be 10 over. Like, you don't, you, he stays so even cool. We always have the classic Barstool story when we played Barstool. And me and Katz, we're like, we need to wake up Perez.
Starting point is 00:27:59 Like, we need to get him going. And Katsi came over to him. He's like, Prez, you good dude? And he's like, yep. Like, it just stays like so... Yeah, he looked at me like, how dare you question me? And then he went on a fucking role. That's his, that's your, your, that's your full, you probably like that in all of life.
Starting point is 00:28:15 I'm like that, yeah, I mean, I don't, I don't get too, you know, I like to have a good time. I like to get out, you know, I've got personality, but I don't... That's the understatement of the fucking garage. But, like, yeah, I don't, I'm not a guy that worries or, like, stresses really, like, you put your, what, your left foot in front of your right foot, you make the best step you can, you make the best golf shot. I mean, that's golf, man. Like when you can get in the mentality of like all golf is is hitting the next best shot as best you can.
Starting point is 00:28:41 When you, if you do that for 18 holes and you get to the end and you total everything up, it's going to be a good number. You can't start thinking about like, oh, I'm playing well today. I shot a, I shot one under on the front. Like that doesn't help you at all. It's good points. I do think it transfers. If you look at like Joe's personality, like Joe's the same person off the course that he is on, like it transfers to the golf game. Like me, I'll play like shit and I'm still very positive about it.
Starting point is 00:29:04 I feel like that transfer off. Jets always stressed about slow play or like... No, I mean, I'm super comfortable on the golf course. Off the golf course, different story. Yeah, yeah, I guess so. I guess more so with the pace of play type stuff. Yeah, I mean, there's always something, you know. That I've seen.
Starting point is 00:29:20 But yeah, I guess you could say that would come. And then you have Perez who just like just cool, common collected. But yeah, I wanted to, something that we could talk about as well, we wanted to get into. Jack, I think it was your idea, and it was a great idea, was the Hot Wings, the Hot Ons Challenge, we just recently did. Was it not your idea that you had? Somebody, I think, suggested it maybe in a con. I don't really remember.
Starting point is 00:29:50 I'll take credit for it. Yeah, it was my idea for sure. Your thoughts on watching, I'll go into, like, Joe's thoughts. What are your thoughts on watching the hot ones? I think it was a great idea, by the way, and I think it plays so well, because people do love the, like me and Joe always talk about, people love the challenges, like even once a month, because it is taxing on the body. But go ahead, Jed.
Starting point is 00:30:09 I'll say this. They, they, I thought overall it was going to be worse for you guys, but I will say the sauces that hit the hardest hit harder than I thought. Do you know what I mean? Like overall, I don't think the sauces were as bad, but there were two or three, which were pretty crazy for you guys. I'll even say, too, because we were talking about me, me and Perez the whole time, we were dreading it.
Starting point is 00:30:33 Cutsi could take some spice, so I don't think Cutsi was as worried. Cakewalk. About it, but it wasn't as brutal as I thought. Again, I think Jets summed it up pretty well, but there were some that hit really hard. Yeah, it started slow.
Starting point is 00:30:49 I mean, the first three or four, you know, we were kind of like, oh, that's not bad. I'm like, oh, that tastes good. Like, that's a good sauce. Like, I like that. And then the fifth one was like, okay, there's something, you know, still not terrible, but like, yeah,
Starting point is 00:31:02 I can see it coming. And then like 6, 7, 8, man. We're so brutal. 7 and 8 were really bad. Like, really, really bad. Perez was the first to hit the milk. I was. So in, like, the, like, suffering standings, it was Perez, Bob Cutsi, I think.
Starting point is 00:31:20 Oh, Perez hit the milk and then spit it out. Dude, I got cocky, though, which killed you. Yes, you did. The worst sauce was by far the seventh one that we did. And by that, up until that point, yeah, the DeBom one. And up until that point, I really hadn't suffered at all. You guys were starting to feel, I was like, yeah, it's okay. So I told Tick, I said, Tickett, like, just doused me.
Starting point is 00:31:42 And that was a big mistake because that thing was lathered in DeBom sauce. And by the way, that night, I suffered round two coming out. That was not fun. I will say this, so, like, Bob and I now, that's our fourth challenge that we've done. There's the first one that Perez has done with us. The speed golf count? I wouldn't say it's a traditional challenge. I would say it's a different kind of video.
Starting point is 00:32:04 It's like a stunt, yeah. But I would consider the four that we've done is obviously the beer challenge, the was the first, the hot fireball, then the hot dogs, and now hot ones. If you haven't watched the challenges, they are probably my favorite videos because they're so unique. They're different than what anyone else in the YouTube space for golf is doing right now. And it's just us. And it's just so funny because you don't have to be.
Starting point is 00:32:30 and necessarily like the biggest golfer to watch and enjoy those videos and they're so funny which is why I said to Bob we need to continue to do those but if I'm being really honest this was by far the tamest challenge that we have done thus far I think there's no question the hot dog challenge to me to this day is still like that was awful it was terrible I mean to the point where like it really took me to push myself to do that but we're going to keep doing that and I I think like, you know, once a month or once every five videos would be perfect because then, you know, we can mix and match them in. And if you guys have good ideas, like some people put in some really good ideas, you know, we want to keep it fresh and energetic and fun. But we're open to ideas and we want to give the people what they want.
Starting point is 00:33:18 So, I mean, given that it's reasonable. But like, I think there's a lot of. The Russian roulette challenge. Didn't somebody say like an edible challenge? Yeah. The edible challenge, I think, has to happen. The only problem with the edible challenge is, don't remember wrong,
Starting point is 00:33:31 be fucking hysterical. But, like, you can't see it affecting you. She's got to trust us, though. Right. I think a milk challenge would be really fucking funny. I think there's a lot of different things we could do. I think incorporating food into any golf match is so funny because it's relatable. And it almost,
Starting point is 00:33:50 like, I've seen people now who are going out and putting their own challenges out, which is awesome to see the best. It makes it feel like we're kind of like pioneering things. People want to like challenge themselves and see if them and their friends can do it. That's why we do it. We're doing it. So you guys go out and do it.
Starting point is 00:34:05 Let us show us what you're doing. Tag us when you do this stuff. Absolutely tag us. It's hilarious to see it, man. Because it's like we want to see people do it too. We want to like you guys have suffered through this stuff. Like in a sick way, we want to see you guys suffer too. If you do better than us, you do worse than us.
Starting point is 00:34:22 It's cool to see. What we need that is just like instant box office numbers though that we haven't done is a fat Perez drinking. challenge would be the best thing. Like, it's instant. There's 500,000 downloads. Yeah, and I'm sick because I'm excited for it. Yeah. Yeah. I mean. Oh, nine beers, nine holes.
Starting point is 00:34:39 By the way, not to put you on the spot, Perez, but like the reason that I'm even bringing up, because it was the most shocking thing, I think that's maybe happened on the channel, like the most off-brand thing we can imagine. Jet, I'll let you, I'll let you take it away because you were watching it right from there. I mean, did you just,
Starting point is 00:34:58 see it? The, the press part? Yeah, I was there. I mean, Fat Prez, it's like, you know, they're like, remember where you were when? It's like, I'll never forget where I was when Fat Perez threw up from a beer. I'll never forget. Like, all right. First off. Let me just, just. So, you guys are doing a skins game.
Starting point is 00:35:17 Yes. With beers included for the losers. And Perez was dusting, you guys. He was, it was like, he had like 40 skins on the front nine. Like, that's not even possible. He had all the skins. He had everything. And then he finally lost, he lost one of the holes.
Starting point is 00:35:35 No, Jet. I didn't lose a hole. I was so tired of watching them drink that I took his drink from him when he lost because I just wanted to drink. That's what happened. Right. So I honestly think that it, so he took a swig of the beer and everybody's like, okay. A shotgun. Oh, he shot.
Starting point is 00:35:52 Back to the golf. And then you heard like, like, you could like hear like a rumbling coming back up. and everybody turned and came straight back out. It was like the Mount Vissuil. It was just erupting. Look, I don't need to explain myself when it comes to drinking, okay? If you know anything about me, you know I can drink.
Starting point is 00:36:11 You know I can handle my business. I don't need to explain myself to anybody when this video comes out. I'm comfortable with what happened. He was spewing out of every orifice. If you're a drinker, an experienced drinker, you've had your days out there where you've had a shotgun beer and you couldn't get the burp up afterwards?
Starting point is 00:36:25 The kids just puked his guts out. No, this is ridiculous. I'm not taking this. You take a shotgun and you need to get the burp up. You're taking a bunch of stuff in. Sometimes the burp doesn't come out. And like it just stays there and it's brutal. And like here's the deal.
Starting point is 00:36:39 I could have stayed. I could have taken a knee. I could have rolled around. Mones, kept it all down. I decided. I took the things. I took control and I said, I'm puking this shit up. I mean, yeah, you put it down.
Starting point is 00:36:49 I was like, oh no, I can't burp and I just threw it up. I threw it up. It was, it was all over the tea box. You guys, let's do a video where you and I sit around a table. the four of you guys or three of you guys to me sit around on table and we'll go beer for beer I'm good I'm good I'm saying that you can't drink but it was just that was appalling that I'm not knocking
Starting point is 00:37:06 one beer it was like it was like watching Mike Tyson get knocked out on one punch it's like well Tyson lost at one point did you yeah but I'm saying it just was so out of context and like it just it wasn't like you spit up a little bit like literally every drop of that fucking corona came up it was my choice it must have gone down it wasn't like
Starting point is 00:37:25 like what something Was it like it went down or it hit, like, dinner? Did you not listen? Did you not just hear it? Well, there was a lot of crossfire. Yes, no, no, no. Crossfire going on. When you take a shotgun, you're taking a lot of beer and a lot of air in all at once.
Starting point is 00:37:41 And if you have to burp, like once you're done, you have to burp. And if that burp is buried under it and you can't get the burp out, it's bad. It's uncomfortable. It was buried. It was buried like an avalanche. It was buried. And guess what? I dug it out.
Starting point is 00:37:53 I dug it out. This guy took a shovel and dug himself out of an avalage. I did it on my terms. It came up. second hand in a big, big way. I was fully under control of the situation. Hopefully, I mean, hopefully that video comes out. And he won the rest of the skins.
Starting point is 00:38:09 Cut that part out. And then, I mean, the skins, he just as, you know what's hysterical, by the way, was Perez told us after because, like, Jet, at that point, like, just wanted to get off the golf course and, like, get done. So Perez told us that, I think we were in the pool, and Perez was telling us that, like, Jet wanted the wind so bad that like when you took your pedal, like when you took your foot off the gas? Or was that maybe not even a, you take it away from that. He does this every single time that either we play his skins or when I play the two of y'all, like a 2 v1, he'll get like, we'll get like, we'll get like three holes in and I'm like up one.
Starting point is 00:38:41 They'll turn to me and he goes, I need you to bury them. So this video can end after six holes. I thought you always ruined for us. Holy shit. That's a little VH1 behind the music. No, I will say this. I will say this. If I was riding with you guys, I would say I want somebody to decimate the other.
Starting point is 00:39:00 Isn't it better one of the video? Think about the viewer. No, no. By the way, it's not, I don't actually mean it. It's, I do actually mean it.
Starting point is 00:39:08 I disagree with that. But it's, you know, just a little motivation. I missed some puts on one of the video on like the last two holes where I could have beat these guys. He stopped talking to me. He actively stopped talking to me because he was mad that I didn't close him out.
Starting point is 00:39:22 You really are. You're so sick. My idea of the perfect video, Bob, there's a video that we just did the last match between the two of us, and it literally came down to the last pot where I lipped out and you won. No, I'm saying this was already released. Okay, yeah, yeah. It's been out, Bob, for two weeks. But my point is that that, to me, was one of the best videos because it builds up and people are, like, on the edge of their seat,
Starting point is 00:39:45 and they're rooting for somebody, whether it's you or me, and it literally goes down to the last pot. If we're winning by, like, six, seven, eight, eight holes, like, that's a dust. No, I know. I know. The matches are always close. It's a half joke and it's actually, it's mostly serious. There's a little, there's a little yeah, half joke, 80% serious. Yeah, when Jets, when Jets done
Starting point is 00:40:08 that's it. All right, boys, again, I enjoy doing this. I really do. I think it's awesome and I think you know, as it comes again, we kind of talk to time timetable-wise, like once every two weeks you want to pop this out when we're on trips and whatnot, but it's fun. It kind of gets people, you know, idea of what's going on behind and then the trips.
Starting point is 00:40:26 Again, I think we want to start rolling out just even like content, like day-to-day stuff. I mean, Joe, I think you might have mentioned in the last podcast, like when we would even be in the car, like us on the car, getting bagels going. Like some of that was the best stuff. So I think maybe like bringing some of that back into it. And before we close down here, anybody like to say a few last words or? Can we sing happy birthday of Jeff? I was going to say before we close down here, being that it's time to go.
Starting point is 00:40:54 I do think we should sing a happy, belated birthday to the jet. Well, we don't want the show to end. Well, it's over now, so we might as it. I'll sit through it. Happy birthday, two jets. Happy birthday. You guys crush the symphony. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:41:11 Not the symphony. What's it called? To the jet. Acapella. Harmony. Yeah, that's a thing. We really had it. You killed it.
Starting point is 00:41:18 I watched it last. By the way, forget golf. Do a barbershop quartet because you guys are. Yeah. Wow. Oh, a lot of more love in there. There's some love from the chat. We entered a barbershop quartet.
Starting point is 00:41:29 Yeah, that would get us 102 YouTube subscribers. Which would be the same amount we got for Micromania. Which is the biggest Bob the Sports flop video of all time. Go back and watch it. Or don't. I think if I wanted to just add one thing. I think it's really cool. And, like, first and foremost, like, we appreciate so much the support, like the DMs, like the comments,
Starting point is 00:41:50 like the people saying, like, we've watched you guys since. you know, two years ago or since day one, like that to me is so awesome to watch. And like, imagine Bob, like when we did our first big video was the links of Victoria, when that whole thing unfolded, it kind of started like the whole thing. Imagine like seven months ago after we watched that video and we were so excited to see how that video unfolded and like how well it did and like kind of put us on the map to see like, you know, we'd be filming with Bryson in seven months. I mean, it just shows like with you guys and your support.
Starting point is 00:42:21 Like, this just is continuing to really evolve in a way that I never even imagined it would happen this quickly. It's incredible. You guys are the best people to work with. This is a dream job. It's been so fun. And I can try to envision where we might be in another seven months from now, Bob. And it's mind-blowing to think of the possibilities that we, where we could take this. Very well said.
Starting point is 00:42:47 Very well said. Fab Perez, you got anything in the close time? I'm excited about what we're going to be able to provide to our viewers. right? I mean, that's the exciting part. It's one thing for us to go through this stuff and experience this stuff on a personal level. It's super cool. Like, you know, I find myself like after a long day laying in bed and just like, do we really just do that today? Like, this is incredible. But it's really about creating something that people want to see or excited about seeing. And we see the numbers just going up, whether it's subscribers, whether it's the, you know, the number of views on a video, whatever it made the feedback we get in our DMs. Like everything is super positive. Like our comment section is, super positive and it just makes it so much easier for us to keep doing it and and we're excited like you know be bigger be better come out with like you know just evolve of what we're doing to like you know keep you guys excited about it i think my biggest like what the fuck what are we doing here moment on bob does sports was when we played with j j watt and watching watt stand next to
Starting point is 00:43:45 Perez like while they were watching the pods go down like i kept looking over there and then like where there's a time like he put his hand on the Jett's shoulder. That was wild. I remember he said on the first hole I was like, I introduced myself, he's like, nice shirt. And I walked away, I was like, did J.J. Watch just compliment my shirt? Like, what?
Starting point is 00:44:04 It's just crazy. And again, as Joe said, as Perez and Jett have said, we appreciate you guys. It doesn't happen without you guys. So thank you. Like, comment, subscribe. That's another edition. Episode 2.
Starting point is 00:44:16 Bob does sports. We are off to dinner. Episode 2. Bobdo Sports.
