Boys and Girls, welcome back to another edition here of the Bob the Sports podcast.
Nobody happier to have us lighten up on the airways than Jensen Custis.
And you got to give credit.
I mean, he loves this podcast.
This podcast is it's his baby, and Custis has his firing another one.
We're happy to do it.
We got a lot of exciting things coming this year.
Some we can't announce yet, but more to come.
The Tacomo deal we haven't talked about yet, so that's very exciting.
which is great to be a part of them,
be with the Brian Bros. and Granham before anything,
let's chat about this little 2V2 that came out.
That's very exciting, boys.
Is Katsy in that thing?
We wouldn't know from the freaking thumbnail, dude.
I look like I'm sitting in the freaking bleachers at Fenway Park.
They got like a stadium in behind,
and I just look like I'm photoshopped into the stadium.
Did Skyby McLean?
You think Skyby McLean banged you on the thumbnail?
Is that what you're accusing him of?
You know, I'm not saying anything.
I'm saying like it would have made more sense to me.
Like they have Grant in the center.
It's his video.
I get it.
But like Grant was partnered with FP.
So it should have been Grant and FP in the front.
And then Bob and Wesley and me and George.
Bob, of course, is taking 40% of the real estate on the thumbnail,
front and center, just gleaming.
And it's looked like they just managed to fit me in the smallest center in the background.
Now, that being said, the way that I played,
I probably don't even.
deserved to be in the thumbnail. I was, I was horrific. So, you know, I guess it's deserved.
This is not just a true thumbnail. You see. Yeah, no one takes more umbrage with thumbnails than
cuts. Well, yeah, I don't know if it's, if people are banging you too much or you take it too
personally because we had issues at the invitational also with the thumbnails.
I threw me in the background. Look, I got to stick up. Somebody had to be back there, you know.
Yeah. It's unfortunate that it was you. I don't think that that's fair. I would agree with Jeff
that it does feel that sometimes you get that treatment more than anyone or
certainly more than you deserve.
That's true.
But someone was going to have to be back there.
Two people.
I get that.
I understand with Gutsi that he does get banged.
It does seem like he gets banged in a lot of the thumbnails that it does have like even
the one on Mason's channel, New Breed.
Yeah, look like Santa Claus.
They like changed the freaking the pixelation.
I look like I was 65 years.
remember that one guys where they put me in all red i look like jolly old st nick but i don't even mind
that that's fine but like we were hosting the internet invitation it wasn't like we were like
some participants it was our tournament so like you would have thought like us in four play would
have been at the forefront and for the most part they were there was just one specific specific person
who managed to get tossed in the freaking bleachers and that's fine it's fine i understand where i
rank in the totem pole of this whole shenanigans.
I don't know if that's true.
Not that you don't understand.
I'm like, I don't know if it's true that you were just tossed in the back.
Like, look at that first thumbnail that came out.
You wouldn't have been able to, and again, I don't really care.
It's kind of like more of like a joke for me than anything.
But it just is like after several, after several different bangings at some point,
it's like, all right, what's going on here now?
It's funny.
The first thing.
I think like, listen, I think Bob was at.
the front and I think Riggs was at the front because like they are like they started the both of
those shows like of those shows they would be like he's not even looking he's like I'm pulling it up
I'm pulling it up now as well what I'm going to do I just love this I don't really care but
yeah yeah I don't the first couple times but after so many times then it's just like what are we
doing here okay I think you've also seen the front oh yeah oh wait how do I take a screenshot of this
You're the front of all the hater thumbnails.
That's just me and a hater.
Like, if I'm not in the front of that one,
I don't know when am I going to be in the front?
Oh, Cutsi's got his new,
got his new, uh,
hater that he just sent over today.
He's got his next prospect.
All right,
all right,
all right,
here we go.
Okay,
we got two of our guys.
Can't see it, PD.
Two of our guys,
front and send.
Yeah, but only race.
And then play, where's Waldo?
He's like,
put him in the back there.
You're not in the back, though.
Cutsi, you're not in the back.
I mean, I guess technically...
I mean, he's in the back.
Come on, man.
He's in the back.
It's like, it'd be fine if it was Bob in the front and Portnoy and F.P's like in the middle and I'm in the back.
It's our two guys front and center and then I'm just shuffled into the fucking into the mid.
And that was Jensen who did that.
That was a bang job from ours truly, which makes it worse.
If they had done it, I wouldn't have said a word.
But the fact that Jay Bone is a...
There's some unfinished.
business between me and Jaybone. He's still
a business about that gauntlet.
That gonglet still has him.
I know we've done FP a couple times.
I'm going to have to get him the gauntlet too and be the guy, but like, I think it was
most fun doing Cutsi and the gondlet because like right away him and Jaybone, like,
with how bad Jaybone wanted to win.
And then Yams, when Cutsi say that Yombs wasn't the main card, he was like,
he called him like the prelims as well.
No, he called me the prelimbs.
I know, I don't think I did.
Dead called me the prelimin.
He was the main event.
Oh, geez.
Only because we have a, like, a back and forth beef.
I would say that the Jensen beef on course beef is larger than the game.
Nowadays.
You guys have an off course beef.
No, I think it's also escalated, though, because we're, like, friends.
Like, like, in Scottsdale, we were playing gull or playing pickleball hanging out.
Like, I get along very well with Jensen.
It's just I have an issue that he.
He is very cocky on the golf course.
And it's like the nine iron thing is what started it.
And now there's people who have been like,
oh, for the next hater series, you should play Custis.
I'm like, he's not a hater.
I'm not going to play J-Boh.
Bro, there's a moment in the breaking 80 that's coming out shortly.
I won't give too much away,
but there's a point where Jensen says he can toss a ball from like 80 yards out
onto the green and Joe goes first.
And he comes nowhere close and then J-Bone almost puts it in the hole.
It was a rare dub for the young man.
And you know what he needed it.
But that was the worst thing that could have happened for him
because he was feeling.
Oh, yeah.
He wasn't even supposed to, like,
Cutsi was like, I wonder if I could throw this, whatever.
And he tossed it.
It wasn't a competition.
And then Jay Bone goes, I like to try.
You know what I mean?
Like he.
Yeah.
No, he didn't say, I like to try.
He's like, I can try.
And he said, I can do it, no question.
It's not even like a thought.
Like, it's just like an immediate.
Bro, no one hounds me harder to do the field goal kick than Jensen.
for one reason only because he wants me to miserably miss.
Hey, pop, you mind if I get a kick?
He drills one that's good from 60.
That's the way he envisions that going down.
With all due respect, we are going to need to see that field goal at some point.
We've been talking about that for years.
We've talked about this before.
You're not making a 40-yard field goal, and I don't even-
I'm like, what about a 30?
What about a 30?
Tell me I can't.
Boy, I love when people tell me I can't.
I don't.
I don't think.
you can make.
Now, how are we making?
Is it 40 from the 25?
It's an NFL 40.
The end zone's 10 yards.
Do you know when there should be no correlation to this, but you know where I,
where I like a fish who was like, okay, he's not going to do it is when I saw you
in the three point competition.
And it should be no correlation.
But watching you put up those bricks, it made me realize that I don't think.
That's like saying an astronaut can't cut hay.
There's completely different things.
And I also didn't walk into the three-point competition saying I'm going to make it rain.
He actually, to his credit, he said, oh, it was going to be terrible.
He did say he was going to be terrible.
I know we talked about before, but do you have experience kicking like 40 yards?
Guys are missing 40-yarders in, like, college and not too much.
I understand, but those are my whole point, the whole time has been that's a high-pressure situation.
I'm not in a high-pressure situation.
It's completely different.
pressure there though.
It's not like my team.
There's three seconds on the scoreboard
and we're down three
and I'm trying to get us to overtime.
You know what I have three shots to kick a 40 yarder.
If I don't, everyone can go fuck themselves.
You know what makes me a little bit questionable about it
is if you watch,
if you watch Pat McAfee try to give those guys
like random college kids.
National television.
It's a tight quarter.
But there's some kids you look very athletic
and they're missing by a long hop.
Like not even coming close.
If you look at like an East Carolina, Virginia game and the kickers kicking,
there are going to be more people with eyes on this Bob the sports episode
than more people watching that kick.
It's something to keep in mind, too.
Would you agree?
Who's the only guy to go to the gauntlet and win a hole in each one of them?
Yeah, that's probably.
A pop steps up to the plate.
That's fair.
That's fair.
Each one, you want a hole?
Yeah.
I'm the Giants.
Holy shit.
He is a giant player.
He's gotten Perez twice and he got me once too.
And he actually got two holes against me.
Yeah.
But that being said, even if I miss it,
someone will hit a 40-yarder because Jensen's right out.
It'll be Jensen.
Yeah, of course.
Jensen, that is the way.
That would be the worst thing, by the way,
for him to sail a 40-yard or three.
We would lose him completely then.
He would think...
Bro, by the way, me and him were recently...
Me and him were recently...
at Airbnb and he had to go shoot a podcast with you guys and he came back from Tesoro and I was like yeah
what took you so long he said you were leaving a while ago he's like oh I stopped at a local park
to kick some field goals like that's a normal thing he's like yeah I keep a football and a stand
oh my god why is that so weird I'm like no no you acting like you stopped at the YMCA for a
pickup basketball kick it's that is he's training craziest thing I've he's like I just like to
No, that's not it.
He's prepping for that.
If you guys do it, he's ready to...
He's a little prick.
He is a little prick, man.
So he's had a football and a stand ready to go this whole time.
He claims he drives around with it always.
It's always in his job.
He's getting ready for this.
He wants to beat pop in this fucking thing.
He goes phone, keys, wallet, football stand.
We got it all.
Him and Katsy play play play.
pickleball when we were at the Airbnb and like, you know, usually after a point,
you'll be like, like, nice try there or like, you know, you'll be like good point or something
like that.
Katsi would like spike it down on it and right as like he gets the point, he'd be like, two one
and then he goes, he goes back like really quick.
He would announce the score.
To be fair, I did beat him multiple times.
I think I beat him more than he beat me.
So, but we again against me.
The one-on-one we had was good, too.
I can't wait until we get it in the HQ.
I'm going to be playing a lot.
I really want, and I got a paddle now, Bob.
I got a frankly, from the PGA show.
Can you tell me if this is a good paddle?
Let me, hold on.
Yeah, I want to ask you guys.
Great paddle.
You already know it is.
Is this good?
I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, it's, I think it's good.
It's a good paddle cut.
Oh, we lost you, Pete.
Um, I, uh, Mikey sent me.
It's very funny.
Mikey, Cutsi put up a really funny post, and Mikey zoomed in on the books that Cutsi had in his dresser.
It says, Palm Beach Living is one of the books.
Palm Beach Living, Dulce Vita and Private Garden in South Florida.
What's that?
The books that you had.
I can tell you, without a shadow of a doubt, I've never picked one of those things up.
I mean, she got it.
They're like decorative.
But how is this?
Is this a good thing, Bob?
I really don't know.
Franklin, is that good?
Is that decent?
14 millimeter T-700 carbon fiber.
Hey, Bob, I got a Rolex here.
Is this a good one?
Oh, that is a preposterous analogy.
I got up the PGA show for free.
Is this a good one?
We're talking about a fucking paddle ball,
Bickle ball paddle.
I picked up this Aston Martin on the ride.
I don't subscribe well.
This is an absolute pretzel job.
I don't know if it's any good, though.
It's a pickleball paddle.
So you could all go fuck yourselves.
It's like, what are we doing here, man?
I'm literally talking about a paddle.
I'm not talking about something.
You got to get that mic in chat.
We got to figure this out.
All right.
Where's your mic?
Well, it's nowhere, but I'm not, I'm not just like.
It got unplugged when I went to get the paddle.
So give me a break.
What happened to your streaming, Mike, Chad?
Yeah, you had a whole, I do.
Do you want to know the truth?
I was going to, like when we were doing the pot, I was going to use it.
But I thought that everyone was going to give me shit.
So I was like, you know what?
I'll just put it to the side.
Now these guys are using them.
You shouldn't care what people think.
Yeah, well.
Normally, you're one of the only people that cares less than I do.
Yeah, I really don't give a shit.
I do.
I will say, I do.
There are some things that are.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Thumbails.
Thumbails is a different story.
That's our, that's our line of,
work we're talking about.
I've never seen Joe be more nervous or anxious as he does in these haters series.
Like so much so to where he plays in a way of just wanting to kill the guy that he's playing
with rather than play Cutsi's game, which I think Cutsi plays his game.
He could have beaten every guy.
My game's been terrible, Bob.
My game's been really bad.
Which is why I'm hesitant.
You come out to play these guys.
like you're like coming out for like a college football game against your biggest rival.
Like you come out with like an intense energy, like a worked up energy that is not really the mindset that's probably most conducive to like hit golf shots or little chips and things.
You get your heart rate up.
Like me at Lake Nona.
I get that.
What's that?
Like me at Lake Nona.
You won't.
Yeah, but I had a mental break.
Like I mentally broke down in the.
Those hater matches.
We've done three of them we've filmed.
There is an intensity in the air from the start.
And there's one that's coming out,
the next one in about a week and a half,
that is the strangest,
most interesting, wildest,
weirdest video we've ever made.
I'm editing it right now.
It's the greatest video we've ever recorded.
That first hole is a fucking scam, dude.
The number one,
Bob does sports episode.
This guy didn't get the fourth hole
Jets said to us. He's like, all right, let's keep this movement
so we can get out of here.
Me and you looked at each other, we're like,
dude, we don't want to get out of here.
Yeah, there's nowhere I'd rather.
Yeah.
There's no other we'd rather be right now.
He was hammered before the turn, dude.
He was fucking plastered.
He's been hammered for 10 years.
He came in hot.
No spoilers, obviously.
Besides for that, it's crazy.
He came in like, he's the only guy who,
of the three we've done, came in hot.
Yeah
Yeah
I think Gage was a bigger asshole
Than Dan no
Well
Yeah
You two were like
You were like
You were like
From the same place
You were opposites
But like very similar
And it's like
When you two were on the range
Together
It was like
It was like
It was I don't even know
How to describe it
But it was like
It was like
The two
Like the two of you
Couldn't have
more different but more
the same in like volume
and trash talking and all the stuff
and it was just like
it was the one
I was pretty crazy
yeah he was like from the north end
of Burnaby he's like yeah he's like
oh yeah that's where the hillbillies are
and he's like you from that end and he's like
oh yeah that's where the pretty boys
from like it was
by the way he's not from Burnaby
he's from Langley
way out of the boonies
way out in the fucking Booneys
Yes. Again, I don't have anything against Langley, but this guy was common for blood, bro.
He was. He started off.
I was like, I was like, hey, man, how's it going? He's like, oh, yeah, yeah, I know you. I know your type. And I'm like, what?
Is it like you from Burnaby? I'm like, yeah. He's like, yeah, pretty boy, you probably went to a private school too.
I was like, yeah, so what? What's a big deal? Yeah, he was, he was just out of control, man.
What's going on, folks? It's your guy. F.P. This year, I want to start going to more hockey games. I've been going to a lot of
football, a lot of basketball games in the past, but I've gone to a couple of hockey games recently,
and they are electric. I want to do more, which is why I want to tell you about the sponsor

Big thank you to Siki.
Like, how glorious we won't give away like, how glorious was it?
editing that first hole.
It's one of the best.
It took me forever, but it was
one of the greatest holes I've ever gotten
the privilege to edit.
The whole episode, I'm telling you, I'm not even joking.
This is my personal favorite episode.
No.
Oh, Joe.
It's awesome.
And that's my personal preference.
Jensen, Jensen came up to me halfway through
and I was like, man, I got to pick it up playing.
He's like, I think this is going to be a banger.
I've never heard Jensen say that in his life.
So I was like,
Oh,
Joe,
your mindset on how the series works is off.
And I wanted to say that way,
it's fine.
But you think that people are going to check out
because you're not playing good golf
where I would argue that it's the total opposite.
Like,
you'll be like,
oh,
they're not going to enjoy it because it's bad golf.
It's like,
no,
that's exactly what they're looking for.
Retention goes through the roof.
Yeah.
Yeah.
You win 10 and 8.
It's,
It's a short video.
No one cares.
It's not close, you know.
It was awesome.
In the beginning of that video, not to get too much away.
You can let me know if it's a cut, Jeff.
But like, yeah, like, if he was saying,
they're just like going back and forth on the range,
talking loudly, just like, oh, Bernaby, yeah, you're pretty boy.
And then they get to the T-box.
There's nobody around.
And Joe's like, okay, so we're here.
And then all of a sudden we were whispering.
It was crazy.
It was crazy.
The guy was also missing a finger right out of the gate.
I was like the most bizarre thing.
I was like, how did that happen?
He's like, yeah, horse trampled on it at the stampede when I was like, I was like, what?
Yeah, he's, yeah.
I went down to the, I was telling the guys I went down to the casino when we're in Vegas
and I wanted to see Cutsi at the Crabst table.
It's the last thing I'll say on at Cutsi.
This guy just keeps running it back, bro.
But I get down and I look, the second I get down is at the crap table and he's going at it
with the dealer goes, no, I put the 20 on it.
You owe me 20.
You owe me 20.
And the dealers are going to say, sir, you need to pay attention.
And the other dealer there rolls his eyes.
And the guy next to Cutsi didn't know how he was with Cutsi turns to me.
And he goes, this fucking guy needs a Xanax.
He's talking about it.
What did Intel you said I had been underpaid several times prior to that point.
I had to call him out on several occasions.
There are a lot of times where Cutsi will correct the deal.
and then they have to pay them out. We've seen.
FB, you would always ride with him.
Like, just at the casinos where you won't even play and you'll just watch and I don't
blame you at all. That's the best spot to be.
I'd rather just be watching than playing with him.
I like playing. He just plays a different level and he talks to a different level and like
I can't, I don't, like, I play craps and I can play like the pass line and like behind
and a couple numbers and the point.
But like he's playing all the numbers and, you know, he's playing.
in all the hard ways.
And he's,
he's getting paid.
And like,
when I get paid,
I take the money,
right?
Like,
I'm,
I'm,
I'm from a school of thought
where people give you money,
you hold on to the money.
He,
he just,
he just keeps putting it down on the,
pressing.
He might take a little bit out
just to get to a round number,
but he's pressing,
pressing, pressing,
pressing,
until he hits something big enough
where the point will start over.
That's how he makes all the money he makes,
like when he gets to,
because like,
I'll play next to him,
and I'm basically playing the same thing.
And I might lose money.
And this guy's up huge,
but just because the way he plays it,
I can't follow,
hey,
I can't follow all that.
And I just don't,
I don't have the balls put up the amount of money that he puts out on the table
where when someone does crap out,
it's not so good for Joe.
But I've never seen,
it's more the vocabulary.
I think that gets me.
It's the pace and the way he talks and how he throws.
And like,
he's speaking a whole other.
language that only like him and like the dealers know.
And like he said, he's correcting somebody.
So some of these dealers, if they haven't been around long enough,
they don't even know what the fuck he's saying.
Right? And then he's not getting paid out the way he's supposed to get paid out.
Because he's not like, he's stolen something over there and he's not like looking
and making sure they're doing it. He's trusting that this guy's doing his job.
And if they don't, God help.
Were you good in math, Joe?
Were you good math student?
Yeah.
I took calculus.
I was pretty solid in school.
I was a way from that.
Yeah,
that's a,
that's not,
uh,
for the faint of heart.
Calculus was a bitch,
man.
Try calculus too.
Did you tell you what?
No,
no,
no.
I just knew that that was a class.
I was like,
what the hell is calculus too?
I didn't take physics.
So physics was even harder.
Physics,
like I remember in our school
for the physics class,
you had to build like a bridge
out of like balsa wood and they had to test to see how much it how much weight it could hold
like it was fuck that was the fucking tough class i didn't take that yeah all right
about that jensen kid though moving uh moving right along um john rom videos are out i know we
talked about it a little bit before um before they came out like how incredible is that guy
like for one of these pros and not just any other pro like one of the best players
on the world to come into our home turf, do the donut challenge.
I watched it and you watch him in the cart with FP.
The rate he's putting down the donuts in, it's like they were chips.
Like it's crazy.
He disappeared.
Like he basically wasn't there.
Like I wasn't sitting there with him during those donuts.
And I was just kind of like staring at him.
It was kind of like unsettling the way he would just like go about it.
It was like, this is like back nine down the stretch at the.
masters is the way this like that's the mode this guy is going into because bob told him that
he wasn't going to be able to do this or this wasn't going to be easy and you just don't
fucking tell john rome that he's not going to fucking accomplish something and this guy just
went fucking at it crazy man i think it might be the best performance yeah i think it might be
the best performance we've ever seen on the channel aside from the max home uh 60 i mean like
he was just making 30 foot pots after putting down donuts and like literally carrying us.
Like we needed him for every fucking hole that we won.
It was it was it is kind of full circle too.
Like Jet and Bob, I remember the first ever challenge we ever did was in Arizona was a beer
challenge.
And I remember like I was talking about whether or not it would be a hit, like whether or not
people would want to watch that.
And Jet for the first time in his life was wrong about something.
And Bob was like, no, I think people want to watch it.
I always go back.
No, but I'm just saying how crazy is it?
It's like you flash forward like several years and we're doing another challenge with a master's champion.
And he's putting back donuts with us.
It's just, it's a testament to the channel and how it's grown.
And like, kudos to the producers.
There you go.
Oh, shut.
I would say, forget that.
I would say, it was funny to me how, how chippy he got as it went along.
He was pissed because if you haven't seen the other video, well, too late now.
He lost the first match in the nine holes.
He was a little bit pissed off that, even a lot.
And he took it out on Cutsi mainly in the Dona Challenge because Cutsi like shook his hand after the night.
He's like great match.
Like he did nothing.
Like good job.
So then he came back.
He started like he started getting more and more and he was feeling really good.
It was awesome.
And he turned to you and he's like, you know he used me as clickbait.
once. That was funny.
It was hilarious,
but I couldn't tell if he was like
actually pissed about it or he was just
being funny. It was one of the
funnier things he's like... Didn't it end up having
nothing to do with you? You didn't even do
that one, did you? Yeah. Well, it was an old
old video of him
like the heckling and Rom is in the
video but we definitely, he's probably the biggest name
of people who got, it was probably me to be
honest. I don't fully remember but
it was just funny when and he kept
going. He's like, use me for clickbait. He's like,
He came and heckled, and he's like, I pointed at the guy because you were in his way, and you used me as clickbait.
And I was like, oh, fuck, just hit the ball.
Let's keep it moving.
I didn't know.
Was that a whistling straight, Tums?
No, it was that.
That was in, um, that was at, no, it was that, uh, Liberty National.
Liberty, like Northern Trust.
It was the first time you guys met.
It was the first time you guys were together in Pennsylvania.
But quick hand, shake and let's get to work.
And by the way, that bang job that I got was I hadn't done.
something the whole match. I was terrible.
I just happened to hit the winning
put and he was not thrilled about it. So he
immediately took show.
He could take a shot. He's a guy. I love
that guy. He's awesome. But he's great.
And then he tried to cause division with me and
FP about the weight situation,
which was like, my point, by the way, my
point, by the way, makes a whole lot of sense
for like, arguably the best
clip in Bob to sports history. The greatest
clip. I have watched that.
You to say that somebody is the same
size. Like, now, now, now, now,
I would agree.
But somebody to say, okay, when that video was taken,
the person was 85 or 80 pounds heavier,
and now we're on par,
that is crazy.
I was saying that is crazy
for the first time for him to suggest that.
And I don't understand how he couldn't understand that.
I think he was fucking with you a lot.
He understood perfectly.
He understood it, yeah.
And then he goes, I was just asking.
He's like, I was just asking.
It was 80 pounds.
He lost 80 pounds.
80's a big number, Bob.
That's a lot of pounds.
FB, my way that you give it,
FB, if you keep going the way that you're going,
you're going to weigh the least.
You're going to probably be the lead as the least in the group.
Are you under two, are you 220 to 25?
Last time I was 219 when I weighed myself.
Got me.
Damn, I think you got me too.
Yeah, he's on. He's on, he's on Bob's tail now.
I don't know.
I don't do that anymore.
180, like, 280.
80?
No.
No, 19 is weight in at 190.
Okay.
That's a lame guy.
You're fighting,
fighting weights 183.
That 183 is the perfect weight for me.
180s where I want to do.
Yeah, that's a great number.
That's where 57-180 is still, that's still bigger than you should be at 5-7.
I feel like a healthy 5-7 person's probably.
probably in like the 160 range, 150, 160.
No.
Yeah, depending, depending on muscle.
How many a little different?
There are five, there are guys who are 150, 160.
Yeah.
People are just built different.
Yeah.
I also wonder too, like they say the average,
I've seen like the average calories should consume for a day.
It should be either like 2,000 or 2,500.
I know it differs between each person.
like I would think ours being bigger guys ours have to be higher because like I tried to
keep it lean yesterday because I've been so bad and I calculated it before I went to bed I'm like
oh my God I fucked it all up just on dinner but you're if Bob with all due respect you're a freak
of nature like you you you can eat whatever you want and I know you work out like I know you do
but but most people if they eat as much as you do and work out as much as you do I don't know
if they'd be able to I'm not even trying to take anything it's impressive it's like
and it's slightly annoying, but whatever.
You know, it is what it is.
Yeah, I do work out hard, like almost six, seven days a week.
But it is true, still with the amount.
Putting back a pint of ice cream after a Rayo's dinner is wild.
Yeah, for sure.
No, it's not.
I do it every night.
Nope.
I think there's nothing wrong with it.
Look at me.
You know what they added to the menu, which is, you know, you don't see these often,
but oh, my God.
I did a second order was stuff shells, like an appetizer, stuffed shells.
Oh, I remember the nights we had at Rayos dog, like the Bob Dispo, we'd film at Moore Park,
Rayos at night.
Lee would rock with that spaghetti and meatballs.
He gets a meatball app and then do the spaghetti and meatballs.
Double down on the spaghetti and meatballs.
It was a night I think we were all there.
I think we filmed, I think it was all of us in your cousin, and there was a playoff game on,
and we were sitting around on the left side.
I don't remember specifically what it was,
but it was the best Reilly's dinner ever.
It was so much fun.
Even the first one when I was like,
why don't we try this place out?
We went on a Sunday night for Sunday gravy.
It was me, Bob, and Jet,
and we sat in that back area with that real Italian server.
And that was,
that was the start of it.
It was amazing.
I remember that like yesterday.
Bob scared the shit out of that server like three years later.
That was awful.
I thought they were closing, like, because there was.
I was told from the owner.
And that waiter, it was the same guy.
And he came up to us.
I was like, man, he's like, this is it, huh?
He was like, what do you mean?
And I was like, last meal, last supper.
Like, this is it.
He had no idea.
And they're still open, by the way.
They didn't they were.
Yeah, they ended up renewing.
No place makes me happier walking.
Some of the nights we had there, just unbelievable.
I mean, we would hit like a more park 9 a.m.
Tea time film, get back, hit Vita.
at like two, right?
Then we just kind of chill for a little while and basically just all just thinking,
like how early can we go to Rayos?
Like,
how early is reasonable to go to Rayos after eating pizza at two?
And it started at like seven.
It's like,
well,
let me go like 630.
We have some fun at Bob's apartment too with the football games and the spreads.
I tell you what,
I wouldn't go back to live to L.A.,
but it's a lot of fun and nostalgic to, like, visit.
It really is.
It's enjoyable.
And the golf is amazing.
The golf's amazing.
I think their food scene, too.
I think it's even better than New York.
Dude, the Vito's days we had were the last.
Place was so good.
I could have every meal there.
And sometimes I did ever be a spot.
That was your number one.
I've never seen you like a place like that.
Speaking of football,
there's a Super Bowl coming up with the Seahawks are playing the Patriots, as I'm sure everyone
knows.
I think we have a rooting interest in this.
We have, you know, it's a, it's a big deal.
Yeah, it is.
Danny Boy, also not Patriots, anything but the Patriots.
Yeah, I agree.
But it's, it's, the fact that Darnold is in the Super Bowl is so cool.
To me, I think it's the coolest thing in the world.
He's so funny, too.
When I hit him up in the group chat, I just, like, we need a shout out,
Sammy Boy for, like, being.
He just goes, thanks, thanks, cold.
Like, he doesn't.
He's funny, man.
He's really funny.
No one deserves it more, really, too.
They're big favorites.
They're like five-point favorites.
They look good.
Is there a quarterback, too, that, like, maybe Jared Gough, but, like, that people
rode off, like, Sam was the bat.
Remember he met for the Panthers?
He was the bat.
He backed up Purdy for the Niners and now arguably top 10 quarterback now with the chance
to win the super.
I can't remember a story quite like his.
He was great with the Vikings last year, too.
The fact that they just got rid of a quarterback.
was crazy.
He had one bad game in the playoffs, and he was fucking amazing.
And then you look at the team this year, if they would have had him,
they didn't even make the playoffs.
And they were, they were close to winning the NFC North.
I don't know if they did last year,
but they were like a good team and it's just like goes to show.
Well, they just didn't want to pay him.
They would have to pay him big.
And they just drafted JJ McCarthy.
So they rolled the dice and it didn't work.
Baker made sure that I really wanted, I could think is close to this.
Yeah.
As far as, like, having issues kind of done, you know, high,
the number one pick was Donald number one pick?
I think he was number, he was high, right?
Yeah.
But, yeah.
Baker was won, yeah.
Yeah, to, like, be gone, kind of, and then have, you know,
I mean, Baker hasn't gone to a Super Bowl,
but he's had a heck of a resurgence.
They were the same draft class, too.
That draft class was loaded.
It was Josh Rosen was on.
up there, Sequon Barclay.
It was a bad QB class.
And, you know, historically it was,
who's Baker and Sam that were pretty much the only ones
that came out of there.
Josh came out of there too and so did Lamar Jackson.
Yeah.
And Lamar Jackson.
Yeah, yeah.
But I remember they were at the time saying it was a weaker class.
At the time.
At the time.
At the time.
Lamar Jackson fell to the second round.
It was the big thing.
If Lamar was going to play wide receiver, Josh wasn't really supposed to be what no one knew that he was going to be this.
I remember I was talking to Mansell was telling me about he went to go like Manzell was one of the guys that they were talking about it being high up.
And he went to like a quarterback camp type thing before the draft with Josh.
And he didn't know too much about Josh.
And he said Josh through one football.
And he's like, oh my God, like I can't make that throw.
Like this guy is light ears better than me.
It was pretty wild hearing that.
Which is crazy because when you see him run to his left,
which is difficult for right-handed quarterbacks typically,
he's throwing bullets, man.
He's putting some mustard on these things,
and they are dots.
Yeah.
Like if he was intimidated by Joe,
I mean, that's just saying, it's crazy.
It's a shame they don't give him a wide receiver.
That's a shame.
John, yeah.
Hopefully.
I hope the bills.
AJ Brown will be on that team.
Yeah, like get like an AJ Brown and then go all right.
Trade your draft picks, get proven guys, like get him a divv.
Like, go all the fuck in.
FP's not an A.J. Brown guy, though.
I just, I mean, he would, like, why would I be right now?
Why would I, why would I be excited about A.J. Brown right now?
A little bit of a diva, Lee, you think?
Oh, I didn't do anything with the Eagles, whether or not he's a diva.
He didn't produce.
Well, this past year, he's clearly, his whole issue, the reason he was a diva was
because Jalen Ertz couldn't get him to ball because the offensive scheming was just
uncreative and childlike.
So it has nothing, I think he would be great for you guys,
basically, as the bottom line.
All right.
I guess here's what I would say.
We had Amari Cooper, right?
Like, was that last year or two years ago?
He kind of came in in a similar point in his career.
I don't think he necessarily like,
and I would argue Amarry Cooper's better than A.J. Brown?
Or at least Amarry Cooper then?
No.
I don't think so.
I think AJ Brown's still a studly.
I think they're like it.
Light it up with him.
I agree.
I just,
I don't know.
I miss.
What you got like T.
Higgins?
Weird way I miss digs.
Yeah.
Diggs.
Yeah.
Yeah.
You know,
the best receivers in the NFL now are those two young guys,
Smith and Jigua.
Yeah.
We're better than Chase and like Jefferson now.
It's crazy.
These guys are just,
they don't,
like you can throw Pook and a Kua ball anywhere.
He's catching that.
You know,
you know,
you know,
it's good on.
Go ahead.
Alave.
Oh, yeah, he'd be in the way down there.
Surely we can organize some sort of trade to go get him.
He would be great.
He put him on the bills.
He could be a top five wide receiver.
I think so.
It's so important for, if I was a wide receiving game,
it's easier said than done.
Where you're playing, who is Q being your team?
You can go from the best receiver in the league.
If you look at Justin Jefferson this year to like almost irrelevant in an off season,
And a lot of them do it.
I know there's a lot of money involved,
but it is so important to have somebody who can throw you that ball.
So they have,
I'm looking right now,
you have free agents this upcoming year,
George Pickens,
Debo Samuel,
Mike Evans would be fucking great over there.
Romeo Dobbs,
Christian Kirk.
Listen,
I got to get one of them.
Yeah.
I mean,
after that it kind of falls off.
I mean,
but yeah, Romeo Doug, George,
any Christians, Mike Evans.
Yeah.
Holy shit.
I think Pickens, too, could be fucking good, too.
Pickens is good.
Really good.
Yeah.
Yeah, Diva, but you know what you put them?
You can't get into trouble in Buffalo.
The other thing is,
I think the Diva thing stems,
a lot of these guys,
the Diva receiver,
it stems when they don't get thrown the ball enough,
and that's when they get upset.
If you put George,
tickets on the bills he's going to see 10 targets a fucking game because who else aside from
Shakir and and and uh can cater they're going to throw the ball to so i don't think like i don't
think you would have many issues with him at least initially because the guy would be getting
tons of volume he'd be making his catches he'd be having fun it's when they stop getting the ball
thrown to them that or they don't get their they're you know they're receiving yards and stuff that's
when they start throwing a fit and the excuse is gone like they did a lot of the time they'll like
they have like an okay quarterback to like blame their foreplay on it's like dude you got josh allen
like yeah this is nick or break dude if you can't if you can't be a legitimate receiver with this
guy no one's going to believe that this isn't your fault yeah i man i i i don't keep saying
i don't want to live in a world where erin judge or josh allen don't win either a world
series or super bowl i just i think so many people want it for josh he's just such a likable
God. That's why, to be honest, Joe, when you sent that text into the group chat, I kind of felt bad for Josh in a way.
Like, it was very nice, but it almost was a situation where maybe you hit Sammy on the side because it's still stinking.
I don't know. I think they all celebrate each other. I think we would have done the same for Josh that we would have done.
If anything, it's kind of Kyle's kind of guy that's kind of left in the background, which is not fair as well because he's a caliber guy who should be starting.
with some of these fucking quarterbacks that are starting in the league this year.
Like, you're telling me Kyle Allen can't start.
That's ridiculous.
But I don't think that it would.
I don't think Josh would take that as like a shot.
I was just saying,
I'm so happy to see it for Sammy.
And I'd say the same thing for Josh.
Like, you want to root for our guys.
Chiefs 34.
Bills 10.
That one still stings.
And that was,
that was not worth that.
I'll wear that one.
Well, that was tough, man.
Run it back is what it said.
Yeah, run it back.
Yeah, that's unbelievable.
That was one of the worst.
Realizing what I had sent when Bob hit me up on the side, like, what are you doing?
I was driving back from Miami and I was like, I just saying run it back.
And then I realized that the run it back sign was a chief fan sign.
And you could see they're beating the bills.
I was like, oh, my God.
You know who won up to this year, though?
That boy Lee.
Oh, that boy Lee?
It's totally wrong.
What did he do again?
What did he say?
What was it?
Thank God we got.
We went for.
You don't remember.
I honestly don't remember.
You remember.
Don't do that.
Thank the heavens we went first.
Yeah.
Brennan was messaging me to get another one on the books for play versus Bob
to sports, which is always bangers that people love.
It gets competitive.
So he was saying,
back-to-back days he originally was like you want to do back-to-back 18-holers and then the
next day do like a pizza challenge i was like breton i think after those two back-to-backers would be
a little big gas but to do you know two matches with four play guys i think would be great
they won last time too no we're that was when we were in the span of they did all after l after
they caught us at the right time yeah we wore a lot of ls in that like three four months span i
I think we were losing to everybody we played.
It was terrible.
Also, Frankie played it.
Frankie was incredible that time.
Was it at the park that we did it?
Or where did we play?
No, it was just Noro.
To sorrow.
Oh, to sorrow.
Yeah.
We did some other videos at the park.
I think the day before.
The fireball one with you with the Mulligan.
Oh, with them.
Oh, you were.
Yeah.
That thing's given you a lot of trouble, Pete.
Whoa, pop.
Whoa.
What?
I would you talk about his mic like that?
Mike's fine and just readjusting it.
So, yeah, look, a lot to be excited.
That's a good video coming up.
We got one locked in to play against the Mets,
a little MLB episode.
It will be a lot of fun with Weaver, mentor the OG.
So that'll be good.
Really looking forward to that.
And chicklets, Bob.
We got the dolecky coming in.
Well, chicklets will just, they just ruin it.
And we're like, no, he's like, I know we got this scheduled.
And we're like, what the fuck?
Where did they, where did that come from?
But we want to get the chicklets one in for sure.
It just might have to be a nine and nine situation.
I think we can get 18 and 18.
I think from the last messages it sounded like they could do it.
So I do think that that's one that we, for our psyche, we need, we need to run back.
Because a lot of people chirp when they win, those guys went in.
And mind you, they kept.
us waiting for the second day for almost an hour late and then proceeded to wax our ass
well they had us that that first match we had them was was one of the worst losses we've ever had
because we had them and then day two they got in our head so bad that they like pinned us
against each like they they absolutely fucking worked us those two days they don't
That's for sure.
Yeah, we need a...
Beat us on and off.
Yeah, they really did.
Plus, too, they got us...
I mean, everybody was hammered,
so it's not an excuse,
but they got us beyond drunk
with the amount of Pink Whitney's...
I just kept remembering Julia!
Yeah, they have a Pink Whitney girl
just to bring the shots.
Why?
That is correct.
That is correct.
So, yeah, closing down there,
but we have the 2V2V2 out.
Yom's...
Release dates, depending on this podcast gets,
but why don't you tell them the release dates to keep an eye out for?
I think we're next Tuesday for the final.
Yeah, well, Brian, Brian Bros are going this Friday,
and then we are going on Tuesday, February 3rd, the finale.
It's actually very, very, very good.
It's very funny.
The whole thing's awesome.
I'm glad we did it.
I'm hoping we kind of threw together at the last second,
and I think afterwards we all kind of agreed that, like,
if we did, like, a legit thing with these crews
or even bringing another crew or have some sort of tournament,
like it could be just huge.
like not let you know like a smaller like get you know prizes or sponsors or incorporate other stuff like
I think we could do it was a good test and it's going to do really well so we'll see yeah it was a battle too
I mean it really comes down it really was a lot of fun we have so much fun with that group like the clips
that come from it even that like you know we did the match against them which was like a pretty
standard episode they were in the um alt shot against us three like just the clips that came from
it.
Like, it doesn't even necessarily, the video is one thing.
No matter what we do, we have so much fun with them and the vibes are always so good.
They're fun dudes.
Yeah.
So,
and it's nice to watch good golf, too.
Like,
I'm a fan, dude.
That's true.
Tacomo.
Good point.
Tacomo Cup.
Yeah.
Yeah, that's another thing to close on.
We want to give a shout out.
Tacomo.
We're really,
really taking a chance with the boys.
And the thing,
you know,
Curious for your guys thoughts, but what I love so much about Tacomo is they really, and you got to give them credit to, they really saw our value.
And honestly, I'll be bonned, even financially, like they're really taking a bet on us, but they believe in our value.
They believe in the community we have, the loyalty we have.
I know for me, for the clubs that I've used, I can't tell a difference between these big brands as well, which for the price point they have is incredible and really good.
iron and wedges. So thoughts on the Tacomos, boys.
Yeah, I agree. I mean, not only do I not see a difference. I, these, the, the irons that
I play, there's some of the best irons I've ever played, like, straight up. So, and I've played,
you know, obviously before Calais, I played a number of brains as well. I, I mean, there are
great irons, you know, I think there are, like, high level, like forged Japanese irons.
like you think about like Miras and Voda and others brands that are like, you know,
three, four thousand dollar forged signs are even more expensive than Calais.
I've hit those.
I don't I don't feel a difference in feel or performance or anything like that.
So I think, you know, along with that being the case, I think it's just, you know,
I like their grant thesis.
I like the directed consumer.
I like that it's a great value.
I think that that fits hopefully our community a little bit.
You know, the everyday golfer, the weekend golfer.
you know, the bogey golfer or the people that are just trying to get into the game
or haven't gotten into the game yet and just watch us for the laughs.
Like, Tacomo gives you the opportunity to go in and play good golf clubs
and still have money to be able to go afford a T time too.
So I think it just, they align with us perfectly in that sense.
And they're just great people too.
Hanging out with them for the photos shoot the other day.
They're all fun guys that we had a great time with them.
Yeah, that was what I was going to say is,
you know, sometimes you don't know, like, when you're going to meet the whole team, how it's going to go.
I thought it was seamless.
I thought they really understand how we operate as a team and, like, kind of what we're about.
And even, like, knowing, like, what their plan is and, like, what we were shooting socially.
I thought it was very organic and fun.
Yeah.
Good, good people.
Great clubs.
So really, really excited about that.
Again, some big announcements that are going to be rolling out for the new year as well, which we're really excited about.
But thank you guys, as always, for the nonstop support.
That does it for another edition of the Bobda Sports Podcast.
And as always, we will see you next time.
