Cust was double monitored up.
Yeah, I bet you that happened on company dime.
Wow.
This is before company time.
Yeah, but it doesn't even, I can show you.
This isn't even my work setup.
Oh, yeah, it is pretty impressive what he's got.
Jensen's gone like, he'll, he'll like.
I have a whole other.
Whoa, how many monitors do you need, dude?
Well, that was back in the day when I used to be a,
gamer. I used to game all the time.
So I had that.
So into the World Cup, but like he wants us to be, like, he'll message us in the group
channel, be like, Ethiopia is playing Turkey today.
Eyeballs. It's like, dude, look, I'm all for the World Cup.
I got no idea.
You know what I'm saying?
Like, Custy is, World Cup Custy is a different guy.
You sure is.
The World Cup is awesome.
No, it is.
I might have the World Cup is great.
But, like, the two teams you send up, like, yeah, I don't know if that's like must-see.
TV.
And a big star for Jensen's
Team USA.
Big star.
They've been phenomenal.
They look at me.
Well,
well,
now let's just,
let's take it easy.
Okay.
We're winning the whole thing.
So yeah.
He turned our group
he turned our work
group chat into his
personal world cup
like score.
So like we're talking about like work
and and what videos
and this or that.
And he's like,
you know,
Cape Verde just,
what a goal.
What a snipe from fucking Cape Verde.
You guys were watching it on the street.
Curacao just had a shot on goal.
I know. Yeah.
You guys were watching on stream,
and I was supposed to go to the stream,
but I was under the weather and I couldn't make it,
so I wanted to feel a part of the boys.
He also, he drops ball knowledge,
which is what I'm happy for him.
But like, he knows we don't know much about soccer.
So he'll drop, he'll be like,
oh, what a heavy touch by Isaac.
And you're like, all right, dude.
Like, we get it.
You know, ball.
Like, we get it.
He asks a question.
and I answer it and then he's mad that I'm right.
It's like, what am I supposed to do?
There's some truth there.
Wait, what is the truth?
What are you talking about?
Because the one that you're talking about was the ESAC goal.
You asked why is it on side and I answered it correctly and then you got upset that I answered
correctly.
No, but you made it seem like, I should have known who ESAC was.
You were like, oh, it went off of ESAC's left.
I was telling you.
And I'm like, listen.
I know, but my point was you could have just been like,
wasn't off sides and you were like no it went off of
esac's boot you know what the funny thing is
the guy mr hank blaylock's got a lot more money on
isaac than balo goes that's the funny thing
that's crazy
hey you know what jensen they could call you a lot of things
they can't call you a cheater i got i got that one locked up
joey cheats yeah we do we do have to dive into that
let's do d man thank you for segue
into that because you do got to dive into that.
If you are watching the World Cup before we go into that,
the place to do it.
You could follow Jensen's pick.
Jensen's been putting in some plays with prize picks.
promo code BDS.
Get a free $50 when you play your first $5 lineup.
We also have, which we're going to put on the screen,
our free throw competition, which we're going to talk about,
that we really, really need a bounce back in.
Six hours to do 24 free throws.
Each guy has to make a shot.
You get one mulligan.
per heat.
It's tough.
Me and Bowen tried to do.
It's very, very tough.
But let's go into Joey cheese.
Everybody's going to make two.
Everybody's going to make two.
I apologize.
Oh, no.
Yeah.
So we'll go into that.
Like, I think Jensen starts us out.
But I have an idea for strategy for that.
You could take it.
We're going to put it up right here, hit the QR code as well.
They're on the Custis special.
and then Joey D.
I'm going to give you the floor.
I'm going to give you the stage.
Obviously in the Hater series,
I think most people know what we're talking about.
There was cheating allegations against Joe.
He did cheat.
It is very apparent.
Well, no, he did.
Like, when you look at the footage,
when you look at the footage,
he 100% cheated.
Joe would tell you that.
You got to say it was unknowingly.
Correct.
That's why I'm giving Joe the stage, correct.
Well, no, I mean, listen,
the stage, I already, I went,
I did a Joey confessional, like, post yesterday because I got to be honest, I did not expect the,
the complete uproar from fans.
And you know what?
After I watched, I actually watched the Hater series last night.
And after, like, knowing what I know now, like about the rule, it was actually, I was completely
and blatantly wrong.
So I will start off by saying that.
I will take full accountability, especially the fact that, like, I think there was a situation
on 17.
Oh no, I put the hand.
I went in the video.
We're not.
We're with you.
I'm saying, I'm trying to say this here.
But on 17, there was a similar situation where he was behind the red line on the right side where the water was.
And he had to take a drop.
So when I watched it after knowing what I know now, it makes it worse to see that, that it was like, it makes it look like I was like making him abide by a set of rules.
that I wasn't. I just truly and unwillingly, I mean, it's tough to listen to accept it as a golfer that I
didn't know the rule, but I truly just did not because I did not shy away from the camera. I think I
even pointed to Jensen like, look, the ball's embedded and I'm holding it up. Like, so I clearly had no
idea. I think the problem was not so much the fact that I didn't know the rule and that I cheated
unbeknownst to the you know to what I was doing it was how I reacted and I I lost my absolute
shit now I'm going to preface this by saying for the people who are like you're so mean to
denton and this you're right I was I called him a bitch I went up in his face I got up
I got dirty you're right then dog it is not mother Teresa so let's just get something straight
okay this guy has said horrendous things to me for weeks
for months. He set alarms to talk shit to me. He's been up in my...
So it's not like this is like, it's not like we're bringing on like a friend of the program
here to have like a, you know, a kumbaya session and have fun and play golf and like all
the world is rosy. It was tense. It's a hater series for a reason. It's supposed to be ugly.
It's supposed to be tense. It's supposed to get chippy. That being said, when I look back at it
and I know that I was in the wrong and that I did not give anyone else,
an opportunity to like actually like explain or double check with anyone else and just
presumed that I was right.
I was definitely wrong for doing that.
And the fact that I got so heated in his face, he did not deserve that at that moment.
So it will take accountability on that.
And I will own it.
And I was wrong.
And you know what?
It sucks.
But I think sometimes when people need to understand with these hater episodes especially,
I want to win so bad.
I want to bury these guys.
These are guys who have questioned my integrity, my character, my livelihood, my family
at times.
Like they've said terrible shit to me.
I don't like these guys.
When they come on, it's not like a game.
It's not like, you know, we're playing for fun.
Like I want to dust them.
I want to prove something.
So there's that that's going on.
And also, too, I'm just a loose canon.
I don't like to be called a cheater.
I think we all know, like, based off of multiple episodes.
So it's like I've taken tens, nines, 11s, I mean, horrendous scores on holes.
I'm not trying to, like, you know, deceive anybody into thinking that I'm a great golfer.
But when people accuse me of, like, blatantly trying to cheat and not go by the rules, that's, that's where I get upset.
I think I just need to do a better job of maybe, like, being cognizant of the rules.
And, like, even people are like, you shouldn't hit in the driving range.
When we look, there was not white stakes.
So like I think some of it is just because it was an intense match.
I needed to be more cognizant of that.
But that's me going hand up.
That's me basically like Bob is right.
Basically, you know, saying that I did cheat.
Now I didn't know that I was cheating at the time.
I was unaware of the rule.
But Joey cheats.
There it is.
I'm a cheater.
I'm a hack.
I'm a psycho.
Yeah, listen, I'm the most hated man in golf right now.
This is just something to add to the resume.
know well yeah people will say that like you know we we are cheering too much for joe my with the only
counter i would say that is exactly what joe said is that going into these hater matches these are
guys who have like just shit on him without a response like that they've just gone in on him so of course
we're rooting for joe maybe moving forward we won't have like lee giving them lines and and be more
mutual at you know what I mean like in in that regard so like okay but like there's just not a world
where I'm ever going to find myself rooting for the hater or not showing it like there has to be
some type of authenticity authentic authentic authenticity authenticity to it and and that's the truth we're rooting
for joe because of that we're not going to hold that back I think it's a amazing I understand
with like giving them lines or or
whatnot. Like I get that. So I think moving forward, we're new to the series. There's stuff to
figure out the series is grushing. I mean, the series is doing great. There is something out, Yams,
I hope you're okay with me saying this, but there is also an aspect to fans are like, why are you
giving guys that talk shit a platform for Joe's series? And I do. I get that because like 99% of
people are great fans that deserve a chance to play with us. So I get that. So Yams actually suggested,
what I think is a good idea.
There's no like time frame of when we're going to do it.
It's an idea we have and like how we pick the right three was,
okay, let's give fans a chance to come play with us.
Like let's do a 3V3 Bobba Sports first fans.
Again, unfortunately, people love seeing the hater type of stuff,
and that does really well.
I do think a fan thing can do really, really well.
So let's look into doing people who are great fans
that don't just talk shit to get a rise out of Joe or don't just talk shit.
Let's give them that opportunity, which I don't hate that idea at all.
I think that's great.
I agree.
I think Jenmes mentioned it before.
I think it will definitely allow people who have been supporting us since day one to have an opportunity to connect and play with us, which is something we want.
I think the reason we started the Hater Series is because it just gives a completely different dynamic than anything else that we do.
So a lot of stuff we do is fun.
It's like, you know, challenges and like camaraderie and teamwork.
And it's just a very good fun, like good vibe.
And I think that that's been, you know, the course of our channel for a long time now.
And this is something that just kind of mixes it up and just adds a little wrinkle.
So that's why we did do it.
But yeah, maybe we do a Joe versus bro or like a 3B3 or, you know, something like that.
I don't know.
No, I think to give more fans the experience, the 3V3 would be great.
Like we already have the Hater, or maybe 4V4, you get Kusty up in there.
Say that, J-B-B-B-Wan?
I think we get one Joe lover and one Joe Hater,
and we have them one-v-one each other.
On the side.
I think, I said, by the way, not to toot my own dick here,
but when we were talking about this months and months ago,
I love the Hater series,
but the main concern I think we all had
was that it was just a way different style of content
that we don't. It's not like the fun, like it, it, it, it, um, encourages even people who are not
haters who want to play, right, to, to hate. That's one. Well, like the age age of the world.
Yeah, he was, yeah, and he was great. He was a nice guy. I know. But, but, but whatever, you know,
he fell through the cracks of, of pretending to be, you know, a hater. Um, and like the, the,
the style of our show and the and the and the uh camaraderie like you said at the same time like
people want to see it and it's it's it's awesome and people love it and people hate it's just a
polarizing like it's a very polarizing um series so it's not going anywhere and you know if if if if if you
don't like it which i know a lot of people don't you know we'll we'll we'll we're right back at it
the next monday or the next thursday so it is what it is i i think we all
of it. And to your point, like, I think having a series where fans come on, like some sort
of challenge thing or some like money thing or like we can find like to, not to reward people,
but it's like you're right, like a two v three three or a two or one, a two v two, a two v two
two with one of our guys. What can you do? You know, the hater? I like the hater series now.
To be honest, I like mixing it in every, every month or so. Yeah, it sounds like we're rolling
it out every week. It's, you know, once a month.
max like so that that's why i do think it works but yes it is different than you know we always have
such great vibes string and challenge and all that which always that's going to be the case but
there is this one series where it's different i think it's good to have that wrinkle in there
maybe it's not a series with the fans maybe we start with just one see how it goes oh of course yeah
yeah but bob you love the haters series like the haters series yeah yeah i i know so it's like
it's it's just another piece of content like i even
when I'm thinking back on that moment, by the way, like going back to it, it was pretty chaotic.
And when these two guys, I saw some people saying like, why didn't F.P or Mason say anything or me?
There's a lot of jarring going on.
Yeah. To be honest, I didn't, well, I didn't know the rule because I saw, after a while,
you realized where the line was and where you put in the ball. But when two guys are just going at it,
like, you just kind of let them handle their business in that, in that sense. And it was like,
chaotic and electric. It was like it got it, it was everything that like two guys who hate each other going at it.
And I don't know if after, because a lot of people were saying after, somebody definitely said something after,
even during it. Like it's on the line. But we were just kind of letting you guys handle the business,
as they say, in the business. Yeah. There was a lot going on. They were screaming. They were shouting.
So like I don't, I even said in like kind of like in the video I posted yesterday that like, you know,
I understand, like probably was easiest for you guys just to kind of like step aside.
I also think like if we were both putting for the same score, then probably FP or someone
would have said something.
But I had already, he was there essentially, I think, in two.
And I was like, I had already lost a ball in the water.
And I was like, so it looked pretty much like I was going to lose a hole at that point.
So I think if there was ever a question to say anything, I think that that kind of like
sorted it out.
but yeah i watched it last night with nicole and it was like oh my god dude i i need to i need to
chill out a little bit i am i am going to have an ulcer on the golf course one of these days and
that's just going to be it you're just going to see me fucking tense up you know like have a claw
like this i'm not going to be able to hold a golf club again it's it's my i i i i i don't i'm
curious like when you hear like when you're in that moment because f p had said i people
was like dude i wasn't like there wasn't reasoning with them at that time
which I get that from FP.
It's like you just got to let them go.
But like in the background, like when you hear that FP said you did cheat,
did that kind of hit you to be like, all right,
if FP's saying that I probably did or did you not even hear that?
Well, no, that's when he pulled out.
That's when he goes, oh, the PGA of America over here.
That's right.
He was also treating the match.
Like I marked the ball at one point.
I think the ball slowly like moved.
And he was like,
I was like, yo, dude, like with all due respect, this is not, we're not playing for the master's year.
Now I do, I will say this.
He, he on the back nine, we had a lot at stake.
There was a, there was a wager for, you know, me paying his mortgage for the month, him getting a taxed you on his ass.
So at that point, yes, it's elevated.
It's not like a normal YouTube video that we're doing.
But it was like to the point where he was like, he thought we were in a tournament play.
And that's just not really.
And again, I need to do a better job of like maybe knowing the rules sometimes.
I just, I'm not like, like I don't know that the ruling.
And when I kept saying that like I didn't cheat, I kept thinking that they were accusing
the ball being in the water and me taking it out.
To me, that was like the hazard.
So when he was like, it was embed.
I kept saying it was embedded and he was saying it in the hazard.
I was like, no, it's not in the hazard.
Me thinking the hazard was the water, not realizing that that red line,
even though it's embedded, that it's still a penalty.
So I kept, I should have like asked for clarification, but at that point to answer your question, Bob, I'm so mad.
Like, like, it's just very hard to reason with me.
And I know, that's where I need to do a better job of like calming my shit.
And if there's any question, I should have like been like, guys, what is the ruling on?
Like, that's where I should have been.
But again, I think normal circumstances, I probably would have done that.
Again, this is playing against a guy who had been coming at me for weeks that I did not like playing against.
And I actually got to give him kudos.
I actually think like at the end of the match, like looking back at it,
I thought he held himself really well and like even giving me the put on 18 to force a playoff.
Like he was not like insufferable by any means.
He was very reserved and well,
well mannered on the golf course,
which made it kind of crazy.
I was doing the majority of the shit talking on the course this time,
which is kind of different than the past, you know.
He was a perfect cater.
He really was.
Like he wasn't.
I think he was a perfect.
mix. He showed respect after. Like it was all love after. Talk to him for a bit after. There's been
haters that have come on that, you know, after you talk to them and like there's like a mutual, you know,
Bryce was a guy who there was a really nice. And then there's an entertainment value. You want,
you know, you want that hostility. Maybe that one did cross the line. You had people coming out of
their house and whatnot. So, you know, yeah, I definitely get it. There's things that I think we could
do different. It's crushing. It's, it's an awesome series, but we get it and we hear it from the fans.
I do really like Jett's idea of doing a 3V3, Bob DeSports versus bands, how we find the right
ones. Because you want guys that are coming on and entertaining. And I'll tell you what, like,
that's the thing is like if you, like, you got to bring, you either have, you got to have that
personality and you got to have that, like, you can play with fans off of camera as well. People can go
to their local course and find three friends that are having, you know, that are playing and having
fun. It's just not going to be, you know, sometimes you ask for something and then you get it and
you're like, this isn't what I thought of it. With that being said, I think it would smash,
especially if there was like some sort of like challenge or punishment or reward for winning. So I, and,
and you're right. Like you have a hater series. It's only fair or right to see what would happen
with a lover's series. Yeah. The vetting process is the vetting
process has to be correct very much like focus because you don't always know like you don't know what
you're going to get with these guys sometimes like you don't know when they show up if they're going
to talk more shit than they did online or if they're going to be like a j and not say anything like
a j's one where it just slipped through the cracks it was the one miss we had because he really wasn't
a hater he was actually a nice dude who just wanted to play a guess which made it frustrating for me
because i think on the other ones we we've we've been dialed in
right like i think moose and i mean dan from langley and like i mean some of these guys have
just been even gage like these guys were like perfect for what we were looking for i think people
people have learned to like love dan from langley like like like we'll go out on the course and they'll be like
like pa there's dan what man i want i'd love to see dan again you know what i think dan need some
that was the worst display of golf dude i won with a nine on the first hole you know what
Yeah, he's, yeah.
I would say the thing, the hater major, I don't hate the hater major.
Bring them all back and have them all playing a major, which is.
Yeah, well, I was thinking about like a gauntlet with all the, like, the top five years or the top six.
Oh, I would be miserable, dude.
Oh, that would be good.
I think the thing, the one thing that drives the best content at least that we make and which would work for one of these series is like competition.
Like, there's got to be some.
aspect of
legitimate competition
with fans that come on
versus they come on
and we're just scrambling
and having a great time.
And you know what I mean?
Like the competition is what puts it over the edge.
That's one of the reasons they hated.
Obviously there's that built in animosity.
But yeah, I also think Doggett did a good job of
he, like you said, I think he did a good job of like egging you on.
Like he knew what he was doing.
And he picked his spots too.
It's not like he was just coming every,
he really picked his spots.
I also give him credit,
he was a very good golfer.
Like he,
yeah,
he only got nervous on the,
his putting was bad,
but yeah,
but that was a lot to do to me,
I think,
with the nerves.
You could tell,
especially at the beginning,
everybody happens to all them.
Like,
they come on and they get on their first screen,
and they have like a four footer
to win the hole,
and they miss the hole every,
like not even close every time.
And I think those are like the nerves you see.
He also,
if we had done,
if we had played stroke play,
he probably would have beat me by 20 strokes.
So, like,
he would,
was pretty consistent off the tea.
Like he didn't have many big misses.
And then like even like going tea to green, like he was pretty consistently good.
Like you could tell whether people like, oh, this guy's not a real three.
Like you could tell this guy could golf.
Like like, like, and that I think is something moving forward that to me is really important because the first, you know, several episodes while they were entertaining, there was just like no element of decent golf being played.
And so like I really want to make sure that like people are watching something that's entertaining.
but it's also like a good match.
And that comes on me having to play better too
because I've been pretty bad, you know, for a while now.
What's going on, folks?
It's FP.
Just want to give a little interruption today's podcast
to tell you about our friends at Seatgeek.
You got MLB in full swing.
World Cups going on right now,
and NFL is just around the corner.
With over 35 million downloads,
Seekek is the number one rated ticketing app.
They've got over 70,000 events, festivals, sporting events, concerts.
You name it.
Seekek has it.
As you know, we're on the road a lot.
World Cup is going on all around the country.
So I'm constantly looking at where we might be able to catch a game.
Seek always has me covered.
I can look up the tickets.
They've got a great system, great rating, one to 10, green to red.
Green ticket meeting, you're getting a good deal.
I want to look at that one.
Red ticket, maybe look somewhere else.
It makes it so easy.
You can see the stadium, see where the seats are, see the view.
And of course, you know we got a promo for you guys.
Use promo code EDDS Podcast 10, and you're going to get 10% off your next set of tickets.
Big thank you to see key.
You played great.
I, I, I, I, I, that you were straight up T to green like driver was mostly in the fairway.
And then you would hit nine to the green on the back nine, it got a little dicey here there.
But it was, it was.
Yeah, you had to play great competition to keep it.
He's a very, very solid player.
So you had to play great to keep it a match.
And you did.
So, you know, I think that's part, it was such a good match that it's, it's doing some well.
Look, is there some tweets we need to make?
Sure.
Overall, I think we have, it's a nice.
I love it.
I'm biased.
like it's a nice curvebone wrinkle to throw into the other videos that we have.
So there is that level of composition.
We have majors now, break 80, drinking challenges.
You know, I do still think we should bring an FP verse back.
That's something that we just kind of, yeah, fiddled away to a degree.
But like I think FP verse coming back would be great.
Like that adds that level.
Or even we could do if we don't want to do FP verse, we could do an FPV like breaking something and like have like a, you know, like a.
a low line like FP shooting in the 60s or something.
You know what I mean?
Like I think that could crush too.
Like people love stroke play.
People want people want more than I've ever seen before stroke play.
Maybe it's just because they want blood.
But that's what people want.
They want to see us fucking absolutely unravel.
Tell them what happens at the end of Harry Potter also.
Going into going into internet invitational too.
Like, you know, I have never been worse.
Like, we got to tune up.
I'm really trying to tune up for internet
invitational because I just
don't want to have another lousy
showing game feels horrible right now.
Like, just can't have that, you know?
Yes.
Chicky's for a major return for the internet
invitational.
Shiki did his job.
He could fucking shit the bed.
Oh, yeah.
Totally fine.
And that's why it worked.
The thing with the FP versus,
it's not like it went away because it was doing bad.
Like, when we get the right,
Right guys.
It hits.
It's not like it was doing bad.
Yeah.
So yeah, I do think we have to get.
I think FPVERS was great.
And it's not, it's, there's definitely gamesmanship.
Like, it's definitely competitive.
But that's also more fun.
That's not Joe series is the 110 series.
You could bring, you could bring a guest on and play with FP versus like me and Bob.
And like that could be a match.
So where we get the, the, the audience involved, right?
Like where you do like a.
2 v2 how we we normally scramble against fp you could bring on a guest he plays with fp and then
they play against us i mean i don't know we're we're always open to different things i think like
as a channel i think the one thing we realize is when we're just doing the three man scramble every
single video for like you know back in the day we realize oh we need to become more versatile we got
to like have different concepts and different videos i think collectively as a group we've done a
really good job trying to be more creative and like try to like think outside the box of like
like how can we make, you know, interesting fun and like, you know, and engaging videos,
which is where we got Bob Breaking 80.
We now got the Hater series.
And I think it just makes our channel so much more complete.
So on the internet.
Sorry.
Go ahead.
I know what I was saying.
Go ahead.
Ready.
Three.
We're going to speak at the same time.
I'm sticking with you.
I'm sticking with you.
Well, because I'm going to the invitation on the invitational because we, I brought it back
to FB.
The stakes are higher, dude.
Like I know we had a good showing at last year.
I had a good showing and you think I'm like off the hook.
But we like the stakes are higher.
There's there's different people are going to be there.
Like nobody's going to walk in there like me miss like a one footer and be like,
he played well last year.
Like we got to fucking step up and as a group play well for for our brand and our show.
But the stakes are definitely like to me, it's a clean slate.
We just got to go run it back and and as a group, you know, do our thing again.
I'm interested to see how I think it's inevitable that crazy shit's going to happen because you put that many people together with that much on the line.
I'm interested to see how it's approached from different people given what happened last year and like how people, if people are more timid or people are like fuck it or if you know what I'm interested in like the social human element of it.
You know what I think is awesome is I totally agree with that.
I think a lot of more people will take the money when Dave asked for the money.
And that's not a you.
I think you made the right decision when you did what you did.
What's really cool, there was talks of having celebrities,
but I think the thing we decided was when you have guys that like the money doesn't mean much to them,
it's just not as worth it.
So the only guy that I guess you could say, well, I guess you could say Andrew Tino, Santino's a celebrity.
But the only guy is like a, go ahead.
I'll say, don't there's, don't spoil.
I mean, there's a couple names that people know, but I don't know where you're going with that.
Well, no, this name's already out there.
I was going to say, Justin Gachie.
Like, Justin Gagey, it's already announced that.
Now, he's in the position now where he's doing very well.
But Justin's going to want to win that money.
The fact that he is the UFC champion right now, he just won against Ilya tooria.
That already could not have worked out better.
When I told Dave about Justin, that was like one spot where it's like, look, we stayed away from athletes.
Like, this is one spot where I think this could be good.
he's going to fight Ilya to Boria if he loses he's still a big name up there if he wins it's the
greatest thing of all time he wins him coming now will be really cool he wants that money for sure
everyone wants the money but um I think people are going to be very very happy with the list because
I think we listen to what the people really want I think there's some additions that
some people are going to really stir the pot there's a lot of like side stories that are going on
that people may or may not know about that is is going to stir the pot we went for a bigger
personality go ahead jensen i was going to say my only concern is that if shicky wins he's going to
throw all the editing into me in bones hands and we're never going to see him again if he definitely
possible definitely possible four million goodbye i'll buy you a couple more monitors though
i will say we tried to go for big personalities this time i think we saw like the value in the
like the first one and the drama that came from it and you know we're not trying to like conduct
chaos but at the same time we're not going to dismiss it if it happens right so i i think some
of these people though also bob like to your point like if people are really competitive like
the yandals of the world or like like the grudens and bizes and like whitney like those guys are
are all like set they don't need this money to like be good but they just want to win like whit
wanted to win because he's a competitive fucking guy.
You know, same thing with Yandel.
Like, you got to get the right people who care about golf, who like golf, but also
are like obsessed with winning and like are super competitive.
Because then it, it doesn't really even matter.
It's more so like they just want to go out and destroy everybody.
So it's going to be crazy.
And I think we have a bigger field this year now.
So that's fucking crazy.
And the bigger purse and like the stakes are the ante and the.
The stakes are higher, for sure.
Let's talk a bit about now about this prize pick stream because, look, they're going to set the odds accordingly.
We need a big bounce back from the three-point stream.
Me and Lambers did it.
We tried doing it for like 30 minutes, and it's hard.
I think we got to like 22, 23.
24 free throws in a row.
The issue you have is everybody has to make two.
what I think we should do is have Custis start.
You have your worst shooters go first to get that out of the way.
With all due respect, Custis.
Oh, yeah.
So like Jensen starts and then our second war shooter go next,
try and get them to make,
and then you pile in the big dogs and try and it's going to be tough.
How many do you think you give you in Bone?
Like, do you guys go like six each?
Well, nobody, so nobody's allowed to do more than 10.
So if there's two, four, how many of four, there's six of us, right, with FP, that's 12.
Is Mikey doing it?
No, I don't know.
No, Mikey's not doing that.
That's 12.
And then somebody can make 10 in a row, but then somebody else has got to get up and, and, and hit one or two, the rest.
So I don't, I think, like you said, like, if you put J.
going up there just rip two, like, yeah, it'll take some time, but he'll knock off two in a row
at some point, right? And then, no joke, after he makes that, we can rattle off.
The odds, it's, it's tough, but I don't think it's impossible.
Six hours is a long time. So we have that going for us. Like six hours is a long time.
Yeah. It'll happen fast. Custis, we need you. Like, I really want to win this one for the people.
I mean, great that there are going to people that are feeding us. But I want you, I want you, I want
you grind in. I want you in there.
I'm not that.
I'm not saying that you can't. I'm just saying I want you grinding.
There's no pressure. There's no, no
offense, but there's no pressure on those first two. We're just going to
stand there until he makes it too. The problem
is when it gets down to like 19
or 20 in the same way that
three point shoot out, we all of a sudden
felt pressure loading up.
That's going to hit hard at the end there.
Why don't you do, why don't you do like
Ben and and Bob have to
make six each, which I don't think is like absurd. So that's 12. Then FP and Jet need to make four each. So we're at now 20. I make three. Jensen makes two. I know, but it's it's it's all going to be done in a row. You can't like you understand that. But I'm saying like that's a decent amount. It's not like one person has to make fucking 10 or 12. No, but you know, but you can. If you catch a rhythm, like if you're standing up there just shooting free throws, you can make 10 in a row. I will just did it.
I will also say for how abysmal I was from the three point line,
I actually feel way more confident from the three from the free throw line.
Like that's a shot that I will like,
I used to play 21 a lot.
So like,
again,
I'm still terrible.
But like I feel like I could,
I'm much better like the three point line that was that was.
It's a different competition.
The three point line,
right?
You had one shot.
Do not miss your chance to blow.
Now is it.
Like you ran around and it was over.
Whereas here it's a much.
six hours is a lot less pressure until you start making the free throw.
I think we're going to do it.
I believe in us.
I always believe in it.
It's going to be tough.
Six hours is definitely a long time.
But yeah, Jets's right.
It's like there is a certain thing where you get a rhythm where you almost want a guy to go to that 10 that if he's feeling it.
I sat there and made 32 in a row one day just because I was so hot.
I couldn't miss.
I didn't know that.
I just felt so good.
But you're just like dialed in.
And so it's like you almost want to get, get them to that 10.
No, that was rare.
I hadn't done that again.
But like it's, it's, there's a certain rhythm to it.
It's going to be fun.
And then the other thing that we have with prize picks is going to be the whole
in one stream.
That's going to be, I think, our biggest stream.
Yeah, I'm actually very excited for that.
I think that's going to be like we are all, because like we're all decent enough at golf
to where like we can just sit, like we can go up there and bang shots for like an hour.
and then rotate in and out.
But I think the funniest bit will be if we get to that first night and we still haven't made it,
and people are like sleeping at HQ and we're ordering food,
I think it's going to be awesome.
That's why I'm going to want to get out of there just so we're not fucking,
you know,
the food wise that we don't leave there fucking 20 pounds heavier.
Which, look, I know I would be the guy who would really stir that lot.
The first one ordering Dairy Queen or Ice Queen.
or ice cream or like pizza like late at night like hey boys let's let's let's let's gather
ourselves here let's let's vibe up and then all of a sudden there's like 10 large pizzas like
i could see that no question but i will say this we do that we do that overnight thing i will
barely sleep i'll be shooting on that fucking at four in the morning when everybody's fucking
to sleep because i don't we're gonna like try and be sleeping and we're gonna hear the ball fucking like
but he's going to be like, I'm trying, you know.
I, I, I, I, I, back to the food thing.
I'm trying to show a lot of self.
Like, we were at Joe's house last night,
and Nicole made my, probably my favorite dessert in the world of just a chocolate chip cookie.
Yeah, you know what?
With the ice cream on the, bro.
I tried.
Good, man.
I've never, I've never seen you ever not finish a dessert like that or even, like, you had a couple of years.
I thought you didn't like it.
I thought it was, I had half of Nicole's.
It was so good.
No, it's not that at all.
I love that. I just, I'm just coming off vacation and it was just so gluttonous that I'm really trying to not.
Like I just couldn't wait to get to the next day of like waking up, not feeling horrible.
And when she sent that out, I mean, and that ice cream, that that's probably my favorite dessert.
The stakes, the stakes, I thought the D man on the stakes, a little on the rare side, but it was good.
It was perfect.
I thought the D man crushed the stakes.
He's getting, yeah, they could have been a bit more.
I think it was more of like a rare plus than a medium rare.
But the problem with that is with Bob bought these unreal wagoose stakes.
You got to be very careful because they can burn if you're not careful because they're
said that those are not like a regular steak.
They can sear so quickly that if you try to cook it too much, you can burn it on the inside.
That's not what that's what I wanted to stay away from.
But yeah, dinner was unreal last day.
It was really nice just to have, you know, we haven't been all together in Jupiter, I feel, for like a long time.
We've been traveling so much.
So it was just really nice to, like, get the boys over for dinner and, you know.
I'm excited for Lee to spend more time down here.
Like, Lee's not going to be up north as much.
So, like, Lee will be down here more, which will be very nice.
Costi just joined a place for the summer.
Wow.
I'm going to dabble in on that a little bit.
haven't been invited yet, but waiting for that and invite.
I've gone one time.
All right, that's fair.
Have you played yet or no?
I played one 16 holes, and then I had to leave on hole 16 to make a trailer.
Damn.
I was coming.
No, I told him, no, there was a time he was out there and I was like, we need to get this done.
And he's like, I'll go home in 10.
And he was like, he said, I'll go home in 10.
And I was like, I was like, where are you?
And he's like, I'm at East Point.
I was like, oh, stay, bro.
Fuck.
Fuck the video.
Yeah.
But I know.
It was a miscommunication, so I ended up leaving early, but I thought it was, yeah.
But I'm only thing.
Yaman's bringing the dick back in dictator.
No, no, he's not.
People think that, that, that, that we're running like a, like a, uh, sweatshop.
Prison, like, that I run a prison.
These, this guy's playing golf.
I'm trying to get a trailer from him.
Like, he, like, so I don't want to hear it.
Now, does he bust his ass?
He works hard.
Oh, unbelievably hard.
So he deserves, he can go play his country club in the summer as much as he wants.
Custy has, Custis has, and it might not show from what you see.
Custis' job security is in a really, really good spot.
Well, we don't fire people.
Like, come on.
No, I know.
I'm just saying, like, for a guy who, like, he, we give him a lot of shit, but Custis is in a very good spot.
I got to tell you, I think that your, Jay Bones.
ceiling is higher than all of us strictly because not so obviously because of his talent but
i was i was thinking about this and you guys can apply this to yourself because it'll be even
worse but jaybone how many years have you worked on us four years uh three in three years and he and
he is still four years younger than i was when we started so like it's amazing so so so and to you guys
it's a couple years more but like more than a couple for me i'm saying but that's fucking insane
to me and he's just like hats off to
Jaybourne you know and I also say I know
I'm going to blow up our DMs for this
but something that is
don't do it no I don't know no I was joking
I was joking go ahead no like we're at the point
now where we need more editors
and so many people have messaged in saying
you know I want to work for Bob's sports
and that's awesome that's great
what Custis did and what Jet did
and we've talked about it and I still haven't seen
anybody do it and we need guys
is instead of saying
what you can do to just send the clips in show us what you can do nobody's the only people that have
done that are the people that have gotten hired EA who works for brilliantly dumb show lambers
lambers just started sending videos and anybody that's ever done that has gotten hired and out of all
the DMs we've gotten that nobody has done that I haven't seen one person do that well and now
it's over because now we're now nobody who sends it is going to get it because I I
like it's going to be too much.
I know.
I might have fucked.
But no, it's fine, but it's, it's a good, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's.
And with the bob HQ stuff, it's, it's, you know, there's, we need help to, to be, to be, to be
had, you know, helping in any way.
But I was never, I, I, I, I, I, I'm not good of going through resumes.
We got a lot of resumes.
And we were, we were, we have people or, uh, I guess Mike was going through and Jason.
But to me, it's like when you, when you, when somebody sends you like, when j bone started
working for us and just started sending stuff. It was like, all right, like he's got it.
Like he's in. Congrats. You know what I mean? Like it wasn't like a super formal process,
but we needed to do that. And we've looked through, we've hit up a few people who's actually
sent in their their resumes to try to narrow it down. But it's difficult.
Imagine me sending in my body of work. It's like, yo, these are the blowups I've had over the
years. I'd like to formally. It's like graduated. Graduated magna cum laude from homeschool.
from Hogwarts.
He's like, yeah.
I'd like to formally apply for the Bobna's sports
role as the crazy guy.
I think I have it in spades.
I think I definitely pass the psycho test.
I got a Bobbiz bagels called a hop on.
Ever since Tim from Tacoma questioned
if Bobnus Bagel's is actually real,
it's definitely lit a fire under my ass.
I'm like, what do you think it's not real?
So that's getting excited.
But yeah, I mean, send in, like, let's see what you guys got.
Nice hand up from Joey D.
It was a deserved hand up, and he went hand up on it.
So we love you guys, as always.
We appreciate you for all the support.
Shout out, prize, pitch for sponsoring.
That has been another edition of Bob the Sports podcast.
We'll see you next time.
