Starting point is 00:00:05 Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to the Bob Does Sports Podcast. Here we go, ready to rock and roll. We actually have a lot to discuss. Sometimes we have the podcast. We don't have too much to discuss. But a lot of things to get into before anything, prize picks has put in a bet on the boys unlike any other. We started with prize picks. We are here now with prize picks.
Starting point is 00:00:28 We are back home where we belong. We don't want you to ride our picks all year long. And you can do that with promo code. BDS. You'll get $50 in lineups. Use promo code BDS. It's promo code BDS when you download the app and sign up today. Players picks, team picks, culture picks, all in one app. Prize picks. It's
Starting point is 00:01:05 to be right. So with the partnership with them, again, we started with them. So to be back is unbelievable. We're going to be on the app doing the picks. Like they're going to be doing my dad's UFC picks. FP's going to be putting out of pick. The lines aren't out yet for the players, but there's going to be an FP special next weekend for the players that you can ride. So we really want you riding with us. With Bob HQ, you're going to be seeing us riding the pick. So please take the time, download the prize picks app, BDS. So you can follow. You could see what picks we have. They're phenomenal. Really, really exciting stuff on that front. I have been using the more or less. So I'm obviously the golf stuff. We're about to be in
Starting point is 00:01:47 a full swing here for golf. They have all the more or less before the rounds of like more or less score for the round, which is my favorite thing personally. I hit the Arnold Palmer, which is this week. We're recording this on Saturday of the Arnold Palmer. Chris Goddorup, Scotty Schaeffler, and Xander Schoffley, all under. I'm a big under guy because I like supporting the people. We missed by one because, of all people,
Starting point is 00:02:19 Scotty, I guess he launched his ball in the water. Did you see that, by the way? No. Sure did. He missed his put on 18. He launched it in the water. Then he came a little short there. With that being said, the fact that we can go do more or less for each round of players this year is fantastic.
Starting point is 00:02:41 And with the players coming up, I think if this is coming out on Wednesday, with the players coming out tomorrow, I will be putting my stuff on Instagram at the very least my picks. And I love people with ride with me. If not, I respect it, but I'm all about the ridership. The thing is, is that you're all about the ridership when we ride with you, but then when we need you to ride one of our picks, like Bob's pick, you just, you want to get a live one. Let me ask you this, Pete. You can't see you're all about the ridership if you don't like to ride yourself.
Starting point is 00:03:12 No, you know what? As you said it, I realized you're right. I'm all about people riding with my picks. Yes. With that being said, will you, when I put the line about on, on Instagram, on Wednesday for the players, you will. Okay. I will be on prize. I'll be choosing the less.
Starting point is 00:03:28 I'll be riding what you got. And good. Good amount to get into. no pop here today. But let's discuss first things. The first, Brad Dalke came out. That was a lot of fun. He caught us on a rare bad day where I think we just played great.
Starting point is 00:03:44 But what a joy it is to film with him. He's the best. He is a good player, Bob. Guy can rip the ball and just everything. He's, guys, a player, shot three under par, nine holes against us, which, you know, I mean, we, I think we, would be part of the first two holes. and then birdied the next seven. I don't think we've ever done that before.
Starting point is 00:04:04 We probably never do it again. But like you watch a guy like that and like you're you're like, I don't know how anyone can be better than this. Like what is like what is better than this? And he's still, you know, he's doing what we're doing. You know, it's like it shows you how good A he is and B like how good the tour is. Like how good those guys are that he isn't or he, you know, doesn't believe or isn't trying to necessarily go out there and make, you know,
Starting point is 00:04:30 professional golf a full-time thing. It's, I don't think he missed, you know, I mean, putts here and there, but like the dude is just solid. He's also a fun guy, like just a good dude, fun to be around. I enjoyed it. I had a lot of fun with him. Yeah, he's,
Starting point is 00:04:46 I also will say, too, those labs, like I put it really well that day, but Joe's been putting it well. Like, I, that, those labs are truly, I used to really think putting was a lot mental, and I think a lot of it, is, but then we've had those labs.
Starting point is 00:05:03 FB, you got set up in a new lab where when we played around. I was just eating those labs are unbelievable. Yeah, they're truly good. Yeah. That's one area of my game as bad as I've been lately that the one area that I've actually improved in, and I can guarantee you I'm not going and practicing my putting is just using the lab. I feel so confident with it.
Starting point is 00:05:25 I think part of the thing too is the weight of it and just the setup. I think I used to like when I putt, I would break my wrists or my plane wouldn't be good. And I'm not just hitting truer puts. Like I'm hitting the lines where FP would tell us like, I remember back the old days, Bobby, you'd be like, you got to hit this line here. You'd miss one way. I'd miss the other way. And he's like, all right.
Starting point is 00:05:45 But now, even when we're in a scramble like we were against Alki, like if it was you or me and then it gets to FP, if it does. And Bob, you were putting the lights out too. The pots are so precise and so close that if it does end up getting to FP. as a third guy. He's able to see the putt so true that he's able to make it more often than not. So against Dalke, I just think it was just one of those situations where the whole looked like a basketball hoop and we just felt like we could make whatever we had.
Starting point is 00:06:13 I wish we would have had that in other matches and, you know, but hey, listen, better late than never. It's truly fun. And the thing I want to say about Dalke is we really haven't interacted with him a ton. Like we met him. I didn't play with him at the internet invitation. But obviously we saw him at the internet invitation. For someone that we haven't interacted with,
Starting point is 00:06:35 he's almost felt like a guy that we've known for years. And like we're so close with. And even like he had a couple huge shots, almost made an albatross, which would have been really cool. We've never had that on the channel. And he said, if it wasn't on his own personal channel or good, good,
Starting point is 00:06:51 he'd want to be on our channel. So like, I feel like we have this synergy with him. And that was the first time we've ever filmed. a video with him. He just came out like such a nice guy that you want to root for and just a hell of a play. He he said a really funny comment to me because like we were really riffing like a lot of bits those first few holes, especially when we were just so bad. And he said to me, he's like, I knew it like wasn't as much about the golf on your guy's channel. He's like, but the second or third hole, he's like, I really realized like there is so much going on outside of the golf that
Starting point is 00:07:24 the golf really does become secondary. And he loved it. Yeah, it was one of the better, like, energy banter episodes we've had in a while. Like, everybody was just firing on all cylinders. And I did, sometimes you see guests making, like, an adjustment or understand, but I think he was really like, oh, this is fantastic. Like, I think he had a great time. And it was fun. It was great video.
Starting point is 00:07:45 It did really well. And then you're in tickets car cam of that ice cream bit of how he only talks in ice cream flavors was one of the funny. I obviously, I didn't know that that happened until that released. everybody talking about it. Oh my God. That was so fucking funny. Yeah, well, Ticket's like he said, well, because Ticket was calling, it was saying I'm
Starting point is 00:08:07 getting fatter, which is true. He started by saying, I'm getting fatter, which is true. And I, no, because, and I was saying, well, you're also getting fatter and he wasn't taking accountability. So I was calling him out for the ice cream eating. And then we were talking about Dolphy's hair because we didn't know what color it was. And Ticket said, can we call it a strawberry blonde? And I just said, yeah, because you only think in ice cream.
Starting point is 00:08:27 flavors. It's like most people would just say it's blonde, but tickets like strawberry. So then we just did a nice, it was very funny. It was a lot of fun. We had a great time. There's a line like your, your hair looks extra like mint chocolate chip today. I said he goes to the barber and asks for the mint chocolate chip. It was wild better like back and forth banters. And like I think people enjoy that when like you guys are golfing and we're just like flaming people on the side. Really good, man. that was awesome. Another thing to get into that is awesome. We got a pick of days.
Starting point is 00:09:00 Like, look, we've had with Bob DeSports and where it's gone, like a lot of people that have reached out and were like, oh, my God, I can't believe he knows the show. Before the show, FP was just saying Roman Anthony knows the show. Like that to me was really, really cool. All these people that we've been able to meet. The newcoming fandom from LeBron James is got to be beyond anything that we have ever had. I've been talking to him the last few days.
Starting point is 00:09:25 We've just been DM and back and forth. And still, every time it comes in, it's king, like, I missed one of his messages. He hit me up. I went to sleep and I just thought he didn't answer. I was like, ah, wonderful LeBron answered. And he did. And I left him.
Starting point is 00:09:38 It just, it was there to have that interaction with them. But the latest with LeBron is, A, the support he's given. He put up a video of my dad at Bob H.Q. Just chucking up bricks. Oh, that was. I thought it was a pitch. He was clanking those things too.
Starting point is 00:09:56 I need to defend your dad a little bit. That is a brutal rim. It's not a brutal rim. It's, no, no, I'm not saying the hoop is great. The rim is great. The HQ is great. Our lives are great. Everything's fantastic.
Starting point is 00:10:08 But the rim, it's like a tight rim. It needs to be broken in a little bit with some more. A couple yaman dunks, it'll be just fine. Let me tell you. What'd you say? It said after a couple of yaman dunks, it'll be just fine. You can also tell that your dad,
Starting point is 00:10:25 I can't believe I asked you to repeat that, though. You can also tell that your dad has had some serious game back in the day with the way his jumper, his motion is. Well, he's a ball player. He's got motion? Well, he missed for a minute straight. Like 15. The ring, a soft rim, 50% of those are in.
Starting point is 00:10:47 And I'm saying, I was watching it. I was, I was like, damn, like he's going to make this one. And like they just kept missing. But I had taken a couple shots on that hoop too. And it needs a couple more bricks before it's settled in that ring. It is tight. But at the same time, a lot of those were bricks. He's an athlete.
Starting point is 00:11:03 He's a ball player. Great softball player. Great pickleball player. But even he said he's like, I just lost my shot. Like, yeah, he used to be able to ball. But like, it's, it was so bad. And just when I called him to tell him that LeBron posted it, he like, he like, he didn't get it. He's like, what do he mean?
Starting point is 00:11:18 He's like, I don't get it. I was like, dad, like on LeBron's. page it's it's one minute of you just throwing bicks he's like so his followers see that he goes well who follows him i said that 157 million people i was like i'll start uh baroque obama j z be like and he's like oh my god are you kidding me and then like it really all hit him but lebron the latest with lebron is he he wants us to pick a home game there's only so many left and he wants to have us out and host us out in l a joke he couldn't believe that we had lived in l-a that we were there.
Starting point is 00:11:53 Yeah, and then I was going to go. You got to send them the clip of us on the court side where we were watching where we had like one half only. We had like a quarter and a half. Not even. Yeah, we got like a couple possessions. Somebody had like toilet paper on their shoe walking in the locker room or something. Bob did.
Starting point is 00:12:10 No, you, I think it was you. No, it was Bob. And then I was dancing on the court like when it's like, I love L.A. And I was like dancing on the court. You were in a full golf fit. Yeah, sitting tucked in, Cori. We came straight from the golf course. So we got to pick a game and he's going to host us and have us out.
Starting point is 00:12:30 And like we have a busy upcoming month. Doesn't matter. Like whatever we got to do, we're going to be there. Call me crazy. When to L.A. play the magic? That you don't have that. Jesus Christ. The magicians.
Starting point is 00:12:45 You're crazy. Can you name me three players on the Orlando match? No, I cannot. There you go. Can you name one? like any any any any any all time no current current magic player no no oh my god dude it's a beautiful take what we can get in the letter to me you had a funniest thing about the magic yeah those letters i don't know what birthday was amazing i don't know where that came from but
Starting point is 00:13:09 i thought it was the most random team i could think of it was really really really good he'll message me about like the videos too like this is another thing to get into but the blindfold uh video with Grant. He messaged me. He's like, man, all you had to do was just not go in the water on nine. I'm like, yeah, I know, bro. I'm like, that's right. So we will grant put out a video of him playing me blindfolded. And it's really, really tough. It sucks because I was playing good. And then I got to the big moment. I got to like, it was nine. I had an all time collapse. And yeah, I just like, it's like, where do you go from here with the video with them? And I've also noticed like, you know, when I played baseball, we're state championship,
Starting point is 00:13:57 all that, I enjoyed the pressure and was good under pressure. When it comes to golf for me, I am so bad in pressure moments. Like think about the Brian Bros. skins when I shanked. Like, I collapse under pressure in golf. I can't handle big moments. You felt to your knees like you had just lost the US. open. It was very funny. It was really funny. But do you think maybe that's because, and I feel the same way, like on the golf course, I don't think you'll find maybe a mentally
Starting point is 00:14:27 weaker person than I am. You're close, but I think you're better than me. But I think it's because like with pitching Bob, like you were you were like good at that. You had confidence in yourself. Like you knew that when you went out on the mound, like you had it in you. Whereas with golf, it's just like from one shot to the next, your guess is as good as mine as to like what we're going to do. So like same thing with me. When I used to play hockey, I'd go out there and I feel like I could stop every puck. I could do whatever I needed to do. When I'm when I need to make a big shot in golf, I, I'm like, dude, I don't know. I like, I doubt I can do this right now. Well, it's like what F.P says. If there's one thing that he had to do under pressure, it would be hit a golf
Starting point is 00:15:05 shot. Like if I, if it was a three to count and I had to throw a strike, I would be really confident that I could throw a strike with golf. You're exactly right. I don't have that. And then I'm also just incredibly mentally weak in it too. Yeah, Bob, you, what I've noticed you do, I think cuts you might do as a little bit is you predetermine your own demise. You're always before the round, you're like talking about how if it comes down to the end, you're going to blow it. It's like, well, you were talking about the internet. We were talking about the internet invitation. And you were talking about the end and what happened at the end there.
Starting point is 00:15:36 And you were like, I would have crumbled. Like I would have folded. I mean, like you're going into it. Not giving yourself the best chance, whether you crumble or not. But I've noticed, especially with golf, you're very, you predetermined your demise a little bit. And we all do. It was like Frankie, the funniest thing with Frankie, like, uh, kept staying in it. That final on like 12, he's like, it's going to come down to mean talky on that 18th
Starting point is 00:15:57 ball. And then you're watching. He manifested it. Yeah. And then it comes up. It was unbelievable. But I also think to, and I want FP to weigh in here because I think that the way that we perceive the game and the way that we look at it is completely wrong.
Starting point is 00:16:11 Because like, if you talk to Stu, like, when he's. playing even if it's like a match or like for money whatever he still just plays like one shot to the next he doesn't put like huge pressure on himself from like that's what i've gathered and i just don't have that same mentality and i think that's part of the reason why like you look at guys on tour who are really good sometimes like the difference of the guys who win consistently like as scotty sheffler's he just does his thing he's not worried what everybody else is doing and he is you know seeing the results Yeah, I mean, it's, it's, it's, you, you, you don't want to add any, like, levity to a situation. Like, it's, it's, it's not a pressure, like, it's, it's, you practice the way you're supposed to play.
Starting point is 00:16:56 Like, it's one shot at, like, it's easier said than done, but that's the way you have to be. It's just, like, this doesn't matter any more than a shot on the range. I hit this eight iron on the range all the time. I hit it straight. Or it's like a putt. It's like, well, I make, you know, it's a four-foot put. I make these every time on the, on the putting green. Like, you almost got to, like, transport, you.
Starting point is 00:17:14 yourself into a moment that doesn't mean anything where you've done it before. But again, easier said than done. But like, yeah, things can't mean more or less. Like, it means more you're going to feel the pressure. If it means less, you're not going to focus, right? You have to just stay in like the same golf shot. Just just, this is a golf shot. Just like every other golf shot I hit during the round, before the round,
Starting point is 00:17:36 first hole, practice tea, sixth hole, 18th hole. Like, it's all supposed to be the same. that's how you that's how you you know you scottie sheffler and you win that's how you're tiger and you win but like most people can't do i can say it that doesn't mean that i always feel that way um but like knowing it is is half the battle or at least trying to put yourself in that like mindset um if you don't even attempt to do it then yeah you're gonna have you're gonna have trouble yeah i think there's guys on tour too and i won't mention any names but you can tell Like there are some guys that are killers and then there's some guys where it comes down in crunch time.
Starting point is 00:18:16 You hear them in post game in interviews where it's like leading up to Sunday where they're almost a little hesitant. Obviously that's a different degree. But you know who the killers are and you know who the guys that aren't necessarily killers, even in that, you know, feel than in that realm. And that's all mental. Like these guys all have all the shots. Like at that level, everybody can hit everything. Like there's, I guess there's a little difference in distance. These guys can, like, their best is good, is good enough to win any time.
Starting point is 00:18:46 But it's like, yeah, it's like the Brooks Keckers of the world that are like, you know, he comes to a major and there's these like, there's only 12 guys that can win this thing. Like everyone else is like, I'm not even worried about them. And like, that's just a mindset. Like that's, that is nothing to do with a golf swing or practice or anything like that. That's just a, I'm the fucking man. I can do this. These guys can't.
Starting point is 00:19:09 Like, it's, you're kind of lying to yourself a little bit. bit, but that's what she has to do. Yeah. Jaybone, you got that mentality over there? Randon Aubrey? I, no. When I'm sitting over the golf, there's not a thought going through my brain except for don't hit it out of bounds.
Starting point is 00:19:28 It's the only thing going through my brain. That's a problem. It is. No, I, I'm very, um, in golf, I don't think about what I'm going to do at all. And kind of in life, I don't really do. think about what i say so it's worked out all right for you yeah think about what you're doing in life no i just mean like a lot you guys have noticed i think a lot of times like i'll i'll say things and i'm like that wasn't really what i was trying to say but it just came out wrong like i don't
Starting point is 00:19:59 think before i speak very well you know what for good news for you jensen i actually was telling this to billy from breezy the other day that jet i asked jet like how good you are and like he was like reluctant to tell me how good you are at your job like he like wow yeah like it was almost like hard for him to say like yeah he was like a secret where he's like yeah really fucking good like he just gets shit done and it's like he didn't want to say it so that you got that going for i didn't say that as a i i told you i didn't say it as a secret it's no it is no secret that jbone at least to me that he's very good at his job the problem is you can't be you know as as a leader like myself you don't want people to get their ski you know ahead of their skis here
Starting point is 00:20:45 and think that because you're telling they're good at their job that all of a sudden who knows where i don't need to have taro on my team but jens would it go a long way for you if you did sometimes just just throw in a little affirmation yeah like hey you're doing good like would that go a long way for you i think so i i mean i i don't i wouldn't need it to be like i need it like sure but it No, it doesn't, it doesn't come up and I'm looking for his praise. I wouldn't say that. It wouldn't make you feel better? That sounds like Jets coaching tree there.
Starting point is 00:21:21 But it's like I'm not out there like being like, oh my God, I really need Jett to tell me I'm doing a good job. You feel good about my son. Well, of course not. Here's what happens. Here's what happens. It's like, it's like I'm like a father, not on purpose. But when people start with us, I'm, I'm very difficult. and I'm very hard at the beginning for the first like 15 years.
Starting point is 00:21:42 But after that, it's like, like once you earn your spot and like I have no worry that like you're, you know what I mean? Like you know what you're doing. Like everybody's free to do whatever they want. I don't, I,
Starting point is 00:21:54 me and Jensen don't talk about work even so often. He does his job. He gets it back to me. And then, but so the thing is when you tell somebody good job after you've been so I guess harder on them for the first couple years, I guess it like, you know, I don't know. I guess maybe like me means a little more.
Starting point is 00:22:11 I think I'm describing an awful father, but, but how it is like with with the job. So. Jaybone, I tell you good job all the time. I say this is great like just like the Bob Knight of YouTube fucking coaching. Yeah. Yeah. I'm, am I about? What do you mean?
Starting point is 00:22:29 I am. You're brilliant. You're, you're incredible. Whoa. Whoa. Don't though. He is. He is.
Starting point is 00:22:36 I know he's a. It's the best, but we, yeah, yeah. But I want to hear from Jaybone. If he, if one, do I not give you enough, uh, love and affection? Do I not give you enough compliments or do I not, you like, or do you, do you, did you want that or like, what are your thoughts on? No, I, I, I think we have a, we have a great relationship. I get my work done and then we move on.
Starting point is 00:23:00 Like I don't, like, we talk more about just like random stuff than work. like I'll hit you up and be like, hey, do you want to golf? And you'd be like, no. And then we move on. I'm saying that's good. But that's the thing. Jaybone, to his credit, and this is why I told Bob, because we were talking about whatever, our job, like, you know, the production, um, J Bone is, is a dog.
Starting point is 00:23:25 Like, he's a go getter. So, like, he's, you got nothing to work. He gets things done. And the truth is he has talents and skills that nobody has, he's like the only, like, a lot of people can edit, very few people can do the graphics and the motion graphics and the tracers and all that stuff. So he's, I mean, as far as I'm concerned, he's, he's untouchable. He's, you know. Yeah, what Jensen does. I'm sure you guys get it a lot.
Starting point is 00:23:47 Whoa. Is in the DM, somebody would be like day 28 of asking for a job. And the advice that I would give, like rather than just asking for it, what Jensen did, what Jets did, show what you can do, do the work and then send it in. But if you're just doing day 28 asking your job, you're not showing anything. You know what I mean? What's going on, folks? It's your guy FP.
Starting point is 00:24:10 I am trying to see more live music this year, which is why I want to talk about the sponsor of today's video. Seat Geek, they're back for a fourth year with us, and we cannot be more excited with over 35 million downloads. They are the number one rated ticketing app. We got NBA heading into the playoffs, NHL's in full swing, and they even have World Cup Tickets. And like I said, I'm looking to see more live music this year.
Starting point is 00:24:31 and see geek got me covered this is what i love about the app they show you the venue they show you the available tickets green dot amazing great deal red dot maybe look at a different ticket i love that makes things so much easier and of course we've got a code for you guys you can use code bds podcast 10 for 10% off your next set of tickets that's 10% off any tickets using code bds podcast 10 big thank you to see Sometimes people will be like they'll do like the day one day three day 30 and then they'll miss a day they'll come back Like fuck I'm sorry I missed the day and I'm like bro if you can't fucking keep up the day 31 like like sorry You can't copy and paste every day with change the number dude like head family shit but I'm back day 32 I'm like one you got to start back from zero and two if you can't line that up like I don't know what to tell you
Starting point is 00:25:20 I've got some guys on like day 75 asking to come on the hater series. It's like I got guys who've been just, did you see what I sent you, Bob? Oh, yeah, unbelievable. I saved for you guys with the hater series. Like, mind you, I have to coordinate with them, them coming down, so I'll text them and whatnot. The most recent one,
Starting point is 00:25:39 and I do want to talk about it a little bit without giving that up. You'll love this, Jams. The most recent one message me yesterday. And he asked if he could, he said, I don't know if this is. is too much of an ask but can you have your production team send me a compilation of my swing videos so i can see my swing and it's like look i really appreciate them coming down like this the most recent one oh oh oh moose yeah this guy's in yourself but it's like we appreciate you
Starting point is 00:26:11 coming down like we wouldn't have a series with that and but like you've been talking shit to our guy for months like obliterating the guy and we appreciate you coming down but like we're not friends we're yeah like once we film like well i'm not going to be friendly you've been an asshole to our guy that's just dude too this guy came in he goes i hate fp too oh no it's just not a spoiler but it's the facts he's like the only one i like is bob i was like oh my god like you walked up to the course home what jet said to you yeah yeah yeah go ahead Yeah, it was like the first thing I walked up there. And he's like, um, he said, he had some moose over there.
Starting point is 00:26:50 He didn't like you. I was like, what are we doing? Like, what do we have to? And he just sort of like turned and was like, yeah. He's like, shy away from me. He's like, Bob's the only one with talent. Can't wait to chill, dude. He's just a genuine.
Starting point is 00:27:04 And then he left and he was like, Bob, what's that good restaurant over here at Jupiter? It's like, full. Just go. Just get the hell out of here, bro. Well, I don't know if we, we might have to cut this out. But Joe, I was talking to him on the range before, like, and I was interviewing him, getting him questions. And he, and he was like, yeah, in all realities, like, if Joe wasn't on the internet, we'd probably be friends. That's crazy.
Starting point is 00:27:31 What does that even mean? I think he just meant like, what is that even mean? He just means it kind of, go ahead, go ahead. I think it kind of just means like he is admitting that you're just like this crazy guy, but. like those are the type of people he hangs around. But since you're on the internet and you're like broadcasting it everywhere, he can't stand it, which doesn't really make sense. Some of these guys is like I didn't even respond to a single one of his DM.
Starting point is 00:27:57 So like some of the guys like Dan from Langley, I went back and forth with him. So I could understand his motivation to like want to bury me. This guy, I had never said a word to it. And he's like, I'm here to prove to Joe that he's not a good golfer. I'm like, I don't think I'm a good golfer. I, in any shape or form, have I never come out and said, I'm a great golfer. Now, I'm hard on myself because I want to be better. But I think I put out my handicap and people think that I have this, this thought process that I'm like, this stick.
Starting point is 00:28:27 And I'm not. Do you know what you set yourself up for though yesterday and I was watching it go down? I'm like, oh, yeah, no, this is not going to go good. And then people were messaging me about it. Cutsi played Abitji yesterday. And he had like a good front nine. Like I think he shot like a 43 on the front nine or 44. He's put up.
Starting point is 00:28:46 He's like, yeah, not my best star. But let's see if we could bump it back on. Well, no, it was to try to get. It was to try to get the prize picks a live line of over under 89. Oh, okay. I thought you. More or less. More or less.
Starting point is 00:28:59 More or less. Yeah. So that's what the price. So I was saying based on the prize picks live line of the more or less at 89, it was not my best start because it was basically right in line with where I would need it to be. Like I was like no. wiggle room. That's good context. Because I didn't think of that. And I thought I was like right now, like,
Starting point is 00:29:16 you know, if you shot like a 43 on the front. This is where I'm just totally misunderstood in all facets of life. But you said not my best and you put up an 86 like the more. I said not my best. And I said not my best on the 44 to get to the live line of 89. I wanted to get under it. I can only imagine like Cutsi posts a story of like a golf like he puts his phone down and it just starts like, there's so many messages from people hating that it starts
Starting point is 00:29:44 like popping. Like it's like a popcorn bag. Yeah. I cannot. Bro, I had fun. You know what? You're the, Cutsi, you're the only guy that's built for that. Like you kind of asked, I'm not saying you asked for it, but with the series, you asked for it in a way. And like, I know you're, you're picking that.
Starting point is 00:30:04 You're eating kernel at a time. I was in the bathroom last night. I was taking like a late night steamer. And I was in the bathroom. This guy, I just see, you know how you get notifications. This guy just sends me a DM. He goes, you're a bitch. So I responded to him.
Starting point is 00:30:20 And he's like, you know, in the past, I've shown you love. And I haven't heard back from you. You're only responding to the hater messages. I mean, no, dude. I just saw what you said. I don't know I get a lot of DM. So like someone's calling me a bitch. I'm going to try to like stand up for myself.
Starting point is 00:30:35 But like I show love when like I get a random like, it's like a rare ripple. in a sea of hate of like, hey, Cutsi, I really appreciate you. I know you get a lot of hate, but like, and I'll always respond to those guys. Or as much as I can. I had hundreds of people telling me last night that it was lying about my score. And I'm like, you might as well just call me a scumbag because I'm a lot of things, but I'm not going to lie about my golf score. Like, I'm not going to do that.
Starting point is 00:30:59 Bob, Bob shared a video to our group the other day of you back in L.A., the L.A. days. And I had forgotten because, like, for the exact same. I'm not. You were sitting on the couch, like probably betting on sports. You had a McDonald's in front of you. You're yelling. You take this large. Jaybo, you can put the clip up if we have it. You dream. Oh, my God. You don't have to, but you gulp a full bottle of water. You put it down. You said. Water is the elixir of life. And then you immediately yell at the wee. Rip a filet of fish. And then like, and then look at Bob and be like, what the fuck are you feeling? It was. My favorite, I need that. I need that video. Because Bob doesn't do those as much. I guess, you know, you guys aren't, you know, you live in different houses. Like, you're not together as much anymore hanging out because he has a wife and kids. But like the old days of just like holding the phone next to you and just getting this guy in his net. He's the same exact guy.
Starting point is 00:31:57 You know, an elixir of life, dude. Oh, that boy is disgusting. Stop filming, Bob. Yeah. I don't change, man. Before Nicole came around. I think Nicole kind of calmed him down and organized him a bit. Like when he was single living in in that apartment, like you go over there and some wild shit. Like he was at his wildest. So that was his apartment.
Starting point is 00:32:36 Yeah. When you walk that was the key where you used to come and I remember Jed and I watched basketball to like three in the morning. He's like today we're going to have an absolute bender. We're watching like Washington at like 11 o'clock start times. We once we once had a flight at like five in the moment. We used to fly to Scottsdale or one of those places. Yeah. And I came over.
Starting point is 00:32:56 We gambled until like, you know, I don't know if we can say this now. But we were like watching sports to like one in the morning. And then we were like, well, our flight's at five. Like we can't really go to bed. So we popped on the Adam Sandler movie when he's with Philadelphia 76ers. Hustle. Oh, yeah. Watch Hustle.
Starting point is 00:33:14 We like got, I think we got had gotten food or something beforehand. And then we went straight to the airport. Dude, that I think it's that same night, that same. clip or maybe it's a different night he does not know just like that he doesn't know that i'm filming he's crushing mcdonalds and he's ranting about this girl tanya that we worked with oh my we all we all went out like we used to go out all the time all together with all the employees he was doing karaoke and she interrupted his solo and he's like you know i was doing my solo i was doing the crowd was riveted and she comes in and cuts off a solo and he's like
Starting point is 00:33:51 bitching about her cutting him off and he's a hundred percent serious just crushing McDonald's it's amazing whenever Bob goes on these lights solo ones it's scary because he just pulls up shit and the other day he goes I found gold and I was like what are you talking about and then all of a sudden like the next 10 minutes let's like brilliantly done mention you in story brilliant dimension you in story I'm like oh my god we got a series a sequence of stories going on well and now too when when when you guys go on you're like the these absolute firing squads of just banging each other, sending pictures back and forth. They just all save in my photos now.
Starting point is 00:34:29 I don't know how that got turned on. But I'll just like, I'll just like show up in my photos, like be scrolling, looking for like a video to put on a pot or whatever. And there's just a wall of just bang jobs from that you guys have been sending. I have the same. And you know what he sucks too about Apple and I don't know why the fuck they're doing this is now if somebody sends you a text and you save it. it doesn't save as your latest photo it saves to like the time it was sent to you yeah yeah i don't like that what the i'm not saving photos to have to scroll in our form right it's there's got to save in your recently saved collection well that you have to go to that but yeah it should be the yeah it's like
Starting point is 00:35:10 when the photo is like time stamped as being like i know so if you save that video of cutsey you won't be able to find it in your album and does you scroll to 22 yeah it's ridiculous I have a great video of him when I used to stay at his place and I was on the futon and I woke up one morning and he's sitting on the floor in front between the futon and the TV leaned like using the the futon as like the back. I don't know what he was eating. He's something and he's bouncing between like two or three college basketball games and he's got like he's got like first half under. like Creighton minus two and like all these things. And he's got, and like, yeah, like two of them were going well. One of them wasn't.
Starting point is 00:36:02 So he would go like he'd switch to a game. He's like, oh, I love this Creighton team. This Creighton team has been so good to me. And then he bounced like Baylor and he'd be like, these guys are going, it's just taste. It's too fast. He's got to slow it down, slow it down. He'd like bump over to like UMass.
Starting point is 00:36:18 He's like this, UMass team, dude. They're so well. They're so well. They make all their free throws. Like, it's, it's so fucking funny, dude. I'm just sitting there. I don't even know if he knows I'm awake yet. And I'm just, like, filming him.
Starting point is 00:36:32 I remember Stub that night we watched, we watched Four Play Go to Bandin. We were watching all YouTube golf shit till the middle of the night. And poor Stub just was plastered out on that small little futon. Dude, you know what Stub loved? Like, that golf digest, like drone shots. Oh, yeah. I remember it was like Pine Valley. He was just like nutty.
Starting point is 00:36:55 He was just watching. He's like, yo, look at that par five. And he's like, we know, we love that. We were in. Every whole at, every whole at the guy. Yeah. Yeah, that's fantastic. We were at the, um, what's the one in South Carolina, the Myrtle Beach classic.
Starting point is 00:37:14 Remember we were in that condo, that, that horrible condo. And then, sure. We were, we were like trying to. figure out things to watch and Steve was like have the controller and like we were just trying to figure out something. It just showed up on a TV and we just sat there and watched an 18 whole flyover of banded dudes because we were going soon. And you know Kevin Spieger was sick. Dude, his dad sent me the other night. I wake up in the morning and his dad has a handwritten list of every U.S. Open winner since 1960. And it's just written and he's like,
Starting point is 00:37:51 He just did it. He's like sometimes I'll just do these. Like, I can't believe I fucked up 2003. He's like, but I bounce back. And it's every player. Yeah, he can tell you who won where it was played. And he can sometimes give you some decent, like, context of, like, what went down from, like, 55 on. Yeah, and he missed, like, I think he missed Goosen one at Southern Hills.
Starting point is 00:38:17 And then a couple years later, he won at Shinnecock. and he like fucked one of them up. But like, yeah, other than that, he can fucking just rattle him off. It's like the eight-year-old that steps up on the county fair and lists out every president never know, ever, ever, ever named. Yeah, but then like, then also like where he was born. And there's four times as many of them because it's every year. Like, and it doesn't matter.
Starting point is 00:38:43 Like, that's the other part is that it's not even like the leader of our country. It's some guy that led a golf tournament for one week. I'll never forget that one of my favorite pictures of all time is him passed out on his recliner in a Pablo Sabres jersey. Like, imagine being at home by yourself or just like at home in the comfort of your home and you're just wearing a hockey jersey. Like that's crazy. Maybe it's comfortable. Those things are brusers, dude. Yeah, hockey sweaters are crazy.
Starting point is 00:39:15 The new one. I think it was just, I think it was like a. Thematic ones are like small. We went to the Vegas Knights game and got, thank them so much. Sandpaper. One of the coolest things they gave us, they gave us all like sweaters with our names on the back. Bro, I was boiling by the first, you know, I guess if you're on the ice, it's a little different, but holy shit. There's sandpaper, too.
Starting point is 00:39:36 Like, it's a wild thing. You're supposed to, like, not, it's not something that's supposed to, like, touch your skin, you know? It's supposed to have, like, pads and shit between you and it. You wear a T-shirt underneath. We went into the concourse, and there was a guy. wearing a suck me off 69 sweat. Yeah, yeah. Suck me off.
Starting point is 00:39:55 It's like, yeah, with like an OV, like it was a Russian player, suck me off. Just ridiculous, dude. The Vegas games for everything, because I remember, Yons, remember we went to that Bears Raiders game for Bob does sports? The Vegas games, like little John performed at halftime. Like, it's different than any other games. The other thing is like all Vegas teams were invented like nine. years ago. So there's no like long term. I guess the knights now have it. And I'm not trying to
Starting point is 00:40:24 shit on Vegas sport, but Vegas has obviously become so big. The teams are going there. I'm sure the NBA is going to go there in a few years. So it's baseball. It's like this real baseball. The A's are going there. It's a really different like up and coming vibe of like people, they weren't super intense fans about it. They were they're going to get there. But it's this, it's a different vibe. Yeah. Shame. Shame. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:40:50 And they're just coming up with their traditions. None of them are grounded in anything. They're just, it's like techno. Well, we play techno between the second and third period. That's what we've always done. It's like four years.
Starting point is 00:41:02 Yeah. It's, oh, man, it's so good. Yeah, with the shame thing is, I remember shipping like, can you imagine like being,
Starting point is 00:41:08 he said about like, Gandle playing hockey, like the guy's like saying, shame to him and we turn around and cuts these to end up. He's going, shame, shame, shame,
Starting point is 00:41:15 shame. Jay. But dude, if you're at the game, might as well get into it. Well, Jay won't have a blast of hockey. Oh, I love going to sporting games.
Starting point is 00:41:23 Speaking about Vegas, Bob, some guy hit me up. I don't know if he's going to do more people. He runs like the Celebrity World Poker Tour or whatever. And he wants me to play in it and like get a free roll for like a $50,000. Oh, dude. I would do that.
Starting point is 00:41:38 Like, and he said he's like it's only, I think a four hour tournament. I think I might do it. Oh, I want to do like I want to join just just one time. I want to join the World Series. of poker like that tournament it's like that would be sick yeah you remember the scotty blumstein story
Starting point is 00:41:53 you know it's imagine bob just goes on to win it he's gone for like a month playing poker yeah um for some money maker yeah phil ivy chris mony phil helmew chris ferguson no daniel How about Johnny? Johnny, um, Kang or what, no, what was his name that the, the, the, the, I know you're talking about. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Johnny something. He was fucking good. I think it's wrong. I used to love poker after dark. I used to read poker books. Doyle Brunson. Yeah. Doyle Bronson. Is he still kicking? I don't, I think so. He's got to be really old, though. When, um, he was like the OG. When we were kids, he'd kill him off. We used to play poker game. and all our friends would like five ten dollar poker games all our friends would like if you were
Starting point is 00:42:45 out of the hand they would show you what we have and we cheated i i mean my friend would have a sign where like i would play with my chips or do something with my chips once i saw the hand and we robbed our friends we were robbing them blind for like five ten dollar games that's a d'alloyle brunsson passed in 2023. Rest is a good life, man. How old was he good past? 90. 90 or almost 90. Getting close.
Starting point is 00:43:15 89. Yeah. Poker is a game. I just, I have a mental block for like a lot of these like card games. I just, I can't figure out poker. It's like my golf.
Starting point is 00:43:25 It's like golf for us. You know what rounders? Yeah, loved it. Loved it. That's a movie. I was going to say, if you like poker,
Starting point is 00:43:33 you got to watch. that movie yeah really but don't you think i should do that i should do that at the oh i would watch i think they would get the best audience they like they'd get a lot of eyeballs for that and it would be great i would go in there too and i would try to win that shit like i was really yeah we believe yeah we we agree yeah there's no doubt you take it more seriously than anyone else out there oh yeah dude i see those things though with like comedians and like i think carrot did one, right? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:06 And sketch has done it. Like, I've seen those things. It looks, it's sort of like what we do. It's like cart cam, banter with like some poker going on. I wonder if in HQ we could do like a poker night would be funny to stream it. Oh, that's great. Like we show it to like lambs or gens. Like we show them what we have and they put it up in a graphic and like, that'd be cool,
Starting point is 00:44:27 a little poker night. That'd be sick. So. Get them crunch the numbers on percentages. Yeah, yeah. I would just, I would just pre-raise Jensen every flaw. Well, I would just. It'd be so hard for Cutsi to fold to Jens.
Starting point is 00:44:43 Like, even if Cutsi has nothing, he just wouldn't be able to fold. You know what I mean? But, yeah, I would lose all my money if I played in that. I just, I can't figure it out poker. Anything with prize picks is possible. Like, they're really going to be doing a lot of stuff. Like, there's talks of, you know, they do the prediction markets as well. So like, you know, when we do the whole and one challenge where we can't leave to the whole in one,
Starting point is 00:45:08 there's a free throw stream that we're going to do. And we have to decide on the number. I was thinking, and Barstle did it for like 50. You have to use everybody. Everybody has to hit at least two shots. And we have to hit. I was thinking like either 25 or 30 straight free throws before we can leave. Well, those are the, those are the culture picks, I believe.
Starting point is 00:45:33 It's like how, you know, how long, more or less certain amount of shots. But yeah, I don't either like how, I guess more or less how the hours it would take to finish something like that. But between, I think, the five of us or the six of us, it, some of us, I mean, I can make some free throws. No, no, can. I think you can't. Jaybon, I know is it probably like, oh, Jaybone. I have to start with Jaybone. Like Jaybones got to make three out of the 35 or whatever.
Starting point is 00:46:06 You know what I mean? Yeah. What is a good number, though? Like, I feel like 30's a good number that's really challenging and hard to get to. I think we have enough guys that 30 seems to is right. And it's in a row like nobody can miss, right? That's correct. That's correct, Jensen.
Starting point is 00:46:23 Yeah. That's going to be interesting. Imagine, Jeff. The whole one stream is like an hour trying to get him to make his three in a row. Yeah, dude, that's how we have to start. He's got to make his three. That's what gets us going. Or no, what you do is at the end.
Starting point is 00:46:40 No, you can. No, fuck that, dude. No way, no. Dude, you put that boy Yami at the end. You know what I was thinking in the free throw. Wasn't, isn't Grant like the free throw state champion? We could bring him. Wait, what?
Starting point is 00:46:56 Yeah, well, he went to, he went to state for free throws in like high. Yeah. Yeah. He didn't win. I don't think he won, but he went and he went blindfolded. That was the same whole. He actually started at the hoop. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:47:11 Yeah. Yeah. He had to make a half cord shot. Bob had to make a lay-up. By the way, this, I think this pod is coming out Wednesday. Wait. The 11th. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:47:26 Is that March Madness start on Thursday, the 12th? No, next weekend. Next week, next week, next week. 18. That's 19. Oh, then I didn't forget it. For the whole one stream, are we all basically going to have one of those? Like, is it each of us are going to be like, like, throughout the course, like, I'm going to have, no, like, each, like, separate streams?
Starting point is 00:47:48 No, I think it's a group stream. That's a group. Oh, okay. You're going to see. People are going to get tired to where somebody else is going to have to rip for, like, 30 minutes. And then the next guy and, like, yeah, but you will be the one who has to. hit the hole in one. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:48:03 What we should do, like, to really make a challenge, I mean, it's hard enough to hit a hole in one. But with us having, like when Jersey Jerry did, obviously, the chances are so much low. With us to have an FP, we should do a decently, like a one, you know, 60 shot or it should be, it's a challenge in itself. But five of us going after it. That's long. No. No. 120, maybe.
Starting point is 00:48:28 Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, 160's crazy. I would want a situation where we have to sleep, like we all have to sleep at HQ. Well, I'm trying not to sleep at HQ. You know, I'd like to, I mean, that's the point. We can, we can sleep at HQ.
Starting point is 00:48:43 We don't need to do a stream if that's what you want to do, Bob. We can just all go over there and sleep on. Bob wants to have like a small station in the corner. People want to see a sleep in stream. Dude, I thought I was saying we could all do our own. Like, we could end up, you know what I mean? You know what I mean? You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:48:58 We can put us down, stupid. if we got to do our own, oh, we're gonna get banged. I can do like a celeb shot every once in a while, but like Bobby Fairway's whole one stream where like, we're there, but Bob's hitting shots and he's gotta fucking do it. We, you know, you know what I mean? And you know, instead of one of them, we've got a bunch of them.
Starting point is 00:49:19 That's my thought. Oh my God. That's my problem is I can't make a hole in one without FP making it for me. And, and. enough shots. If you get internet invitation, when you need to buckle down,
Starting point is 00:49:35 like you need to play good, you play. He's not getting a whole in one? Well, yeah, I mean, it's, it's hard.
Starting point is 00:49:41 I mean, I could tell you. That is a great attribute to have. It's just to be able to switch it on like that. That's pretty cool, dude. I don't have that. He does.
Starting point is 00:49:49 When he comes time to film or he, he flicks it on, look at the internet invitation. Like he just, yeah. I tell you what, if we're just hacking it up on the door. So the guy lost like a dozen balls.
Starting point is 00:50:00 five holes the other day. What? Yeah, but those he doesn't care. He doesn't care. Oh, what I'm saying. I'm saying when he doesn't care,
Starting point is 00:50:08 he just doesn't give a shit. He just waxes. I actually like that yams the best because he's just, he's in a good place. He's just like happy. He doesn't get like ball goes out. He's like, four left or far right.
Starting point is 00:50:19 Like he doesn't care. He's just having a good time. There's four call. He goes four. It's, you can tell he's pissed when he went on that four call comes out. Well, when I'm playing.
Starting point is 00:50:30 like a round like that the goal is not the lowest score the goal is to finish as fast as you can see that's that's that's where me and you are completely different on the course like i'm out there like i want that's not the only way we're different jensen but i didn't say it was the only way i said that's one of the ways when i'm out in the course see like i'm out there i want to play 18 holes and i want to like keep tracking my score and put up a decent round and like yams is like he's ready to leave by like by the T-box on five. Almost too much so. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:51:01 I actually, I said something the other day to somebody that was so ridiculous in hindsight. And they called me for it. And I was, and it's going to sound absurd. But they were like, they were like, we're playing golf on Sunday. Like, do you want to come, do you want to come and play? And I go. And I was dead serious. And this is truly my mentality, but I didn't realize how bad it sounded.
Starting point is 00:51:22 I said it. I said, I don't play golf on the weekends. only the weekdays. I like to watch golf on the weekends. And they looked at me, they're like, some life you have, huh? I realized I was like, yeah, most people fucking like, only play golf because they have to. And not that I like. It is better to play weekdays.
Starting point is 00:51:42 It's a lot less busy. I'm saying. I like, I don't play too much on the weekdays either. I work. But if I'm playing golf, it's it's on the weekdays in some afternoon playing golf and to play as fast as possible. That's all. So is that what I got to do?
Starting point is 00:51:57 If I want to go out with yams, I got to hit you up on a weekday. Yeah, like in the after, if you had me up in like the afternoon. That's quiet. I've hit him up probably like two or three times now and be like, yo, you want to go golf? I might go head out for nine. And he's like, normally I would. And then I thought like, so what's the normal? Oh, you asked me yesterday.
Starting point is 00:52:20 You've asked me, I think twice or three times that I actually could not have, have done it. And also, if you get closer to like, the closer you get to Thursday, the lower that your chances are going to get like just normally I would. Yeah, when is the normal? Because I've asked. Yeah. Is that a no? There's a new, there's a new norm in town. He's right.
Starting point is 00:52:39 I have, I have said that a few times. But I'm dumb. And he asked last night, I think last night he asked about going to the, the par three, the lit up part three. Oh, don't I get those. Park, baby. You were in Houston. Oh, that's fair. yesterday.
Starting point is 00:52:55 And the other one, did you play it? Did you play the park? No, I went and I went at like 7.30 and there was like a super long line. And the guy was like, you probably won't finish and there's no refunds. So I was like, I don't know. Yeah, it gets crowded out there. Yeah, I didn't realize it was so busy.
Starting point is 00:53:12 There's no tea times? Mm-hmm. We definitely need, if people can throw it in the comments too, we definitely need suggestions for a new challenge, food and drinking challenge we had been talking about. I was in Houston and went to this barbecue place that was out of this world. And I was thinking it would be funny to do a huge barbecue plate, like from where you have like the tray and you have the brisket,
Starting point is 00:53:37 you have all those things I think would be funny. Mason Nut, Brazy athletes, like you guys should do a Texas Roadhouse like Rolls Challenge. We're just doing rolls. You know, some things we could do. So fire those into the comment. I'll be curious to see what people say and suggestions there. but again folks if you could please take the time
