Starting point is 00:00:10 Pop, you look like you have a lemon chill in your hand. Jen, do you mean to tell us you weren't just playing a prank on us by doing this? By doing what, Bob? Oh, he gave himself the most normal one. Yeah, he's got a gray mic, huh? He's got the gray one. Why do we have colors? It's so I can differentiate if I don't have head bones.
Starting point is 00:00:27 I don't have gumby's cop. Yeah, and I've got carrot. I look like a fucking smurf. And if my grandmother was a bike. If my grandma had wheels, she'd be a bike. You look like you're holding like a clown's nose. Yeah. I just don't know if we're going to be released to the pod
Starting point is 00:00:42 because he didn't get to put his ringlight on. My bad for trying to make the pod better. Look, we appreciate that. All right, well, the clowns are back, and this is another edition here of the Bob DoSports podcast. We are in Virginia at Leland H.Q here today. And, boys, thoughts on... What do you guys think of the place?
Starting point is 00:01:05 It's nice. Hey, you like it? It's nice. I do like the settings. I am sweating my balls off in here. It is fucking hot. It's after hours. The building turns the AC up a little bit.
Starting point is 00:01:20 No one's supposed to be here right now. Sure. But we're here. All right. So we played around to golf. We ran back the 3V3, which is a lot of fun. 3V3 with the wheel of who's going to shoot. Jay Bone had an interesting one where he went to take a, I think he was a,
Starting point is 00:01:35 he tried to take an 8 iron from like. Yeah, it was... In the fan? Eight iron. 186? 186 playing uphill, so you're going to add another five yards. Another wind was probably easily another 10 yards into us. So you're looking about a shot.
Starting point is 00:01:53 200 yard eight iron. And he was fixated on the fact that he, that was the right club. Jaybone, if the answer to this is yes, I don't, I don't hate it. But just be honest, was it for a little bit of clout? No, it wasn't for clout. I mean, I will say at home, I play Calloway Mavericks, and they're a little bit more strong lofted. But I do think I could have got the eight there. I would, I just, I hit every ball better if I crush it, except the driver.
Starting point is 00:02:19 Wait, but my irons, I hit it better if I just crush the hell of it. So you think an eight iron, 200 yards was the appropriate club for that hole? Well, I will, I will say the initial number and reading that I heard was 186 downhill. No. Is that what your eyes saw? That's what I heard from. I told you multiple times it was playing like 200.
Starting point is 00:02:39 You think you get more pop on the irons than than D-Man? I don't know about more, but I just think I just think I could have got it there. Yeah, I think I can keep up with Putsi and that iron. I don't know about the driver.
Starting point is 00:02:50 That's why D-Man didn't like that eight-iron because D-Man's like, look, if I ain't getting that eight-iron, D-Man didn't like the eight-iron because eight-iron wasn't the club. Well, that is also true. What we need to actually say for context is that he went up to a seven-iron
Starting point is 00:03:03 and was still 10 yards short of the greener. Correct. Right? I mean, I was right of it. If I didn't slice it, I would have got to the green. But I mean, I understand. My grandmother had wheels. I know. You have to talk. You know what I'm just saying. I would have got there with the seven. I think I if I didn't hit it back. I think that this is a, this is a microcosm of a larger issue here, which is that, and I don't mean to say it in a bad way, but Jensen is a cocky golfer. Yeah, you are He and Here's the thing And it's the type of golfer
Starting point is 00:03:39 And I love Jensen But as a guy He's the type of golfer That It's hard for me He's the type of guy He hit an 8 iron 180 yards once
Starting point is 00:03:48 And now he thinks that he will always Hit that 8 iron on Again I'm trying to find a slot To back you up He's right Let's get on the sim I mean I think That's like that's
Starting point is 00:04:00 So that's what The hockey golf is, thank you very. This pod's over. I think I could hit my eight iron one. I don't know about yours. But that just played right into his hand. And the other thing, like, it's the same reason that when he posted on his Instagram
Starting point is 00:04:17 a story of a 334-yard drive, even though the drive was 500 yards downhill. Well, apparently it happened. That, I believe. I was there. I have my reservations about, um year golf game
Starting point is 00:04:34 in terms of like the the cocky like you're also the other thing is you're a new how long have you been playing golf for four years four years okay so that's a relatively new golfer since COVID actually
Starting point is 00:04:45 yeah I just I I don't know I think we need to extend a little more humility about our own golf games I will put my hand up by the way to be that good I'm pretty sure I've said every time
Starting point is 00:04:58 that I shoot in like the mid-90s of course but even that Like, from the golf I've seen you play, I would say you're not shooting in the mid-90s. Oh, I could be wrong. And I'm, he's probably better than me. I disagree with that. He's got game.
Starting point is 00:05:11 He's probably better than me. But anytime we've played on Bob does sports, he, I would say he's not a 90s golf. Yeah, but the camera's on the camera. You gotta give him that. When you're posting a score, you play with like your own rules.
Starting point is 00:05:27 Like you have your own like system. So when you put like an 85 on Instagram, if it's not a real 85, like, I have no respect for that. Whoa. Let's see now. But if you tell the world on Instagram and you put a scorecard that says 85 and you took two Mulligan because you and your boys take Mulligans, that ain't an 85.
Starting point is 00:05:46 You're talking about the scorecard on a short time? I get myself two per way. Okay, so two, he gives himself two, which is fine. Why not three? Why not one? Two per Mulligans is fine if you put your boys. But if you shoot an 85 taking two mulligans, that, and you say you shot in 85, if one of those mulligans went out of bound, Now you shot at 93, so I just don't think it's fair to put that out to the world.
Starting point is 00:06:06 Like, everybody has rules with their boy. He's not, he could hit mid-90s for sure. I mean, he's a player. Perhaps. Perhaps. I just like never talk about my score ever? Take it to the Sims. No, you should.
Starting point is 00:06:17 But if you're telling the world that you shouldn't like that score on a golf course, it shouldn't be with like my rules that I play with the boys at home. I will say this too, by the way. I used to think it was like a flex to say like how far you hit the ball. as I want to actually become... You don't anymore? Can you shut the fuck up? As I try to get better at golf, I realize
Starting point is 00:06:38 I would rather hit the ball less and be in the fair way. I was telling you, take it this earlier, like, and not be like, oh, I powered a 310-yard drive. Like, I'd rather drive the ball 280 or 270 and be in the fair way and, like, try to get my game better. I get such a kick out of there. There's some YouTube golfers out there coming around. They'll hit a ball.
Starting point is 00:07:00 and they know that they might get outdriven that they're so focused on telling the audience that they either outdrove the person or didn't that they'll be like, yeah, I caught that like a little spinny or like a little healy, like they go out of their way to make an effort to prepare themselves for,
Starting point is 00:07:16 hey, I might have gotten out driven or something like that. So. Just to bring it back to Jensen for two seconds. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I'll say, I think that he's, your potential is maybe the highest in the room outside of FP. I think
Starting point is 00:07:33 your swing is great. What you don't do well, you're not going to like this, is you don't take criticism or tips well at all. If someone's like, you might want to club up on this, you're like, no, it's going to get there. I know my shot. It's going to get there.
Starting point is 00:07:49 And I think that stops you from scoring better because you don't take tips at all ever. Remember the whole way I told them swing easy? But your potential and your swing is great. It's there. Chat, remember I told him, I was like, okay, Jensen, the fairway is massive. Just a swing easy, nice and, and like literally five seconds later, he's like, I'm going to swing for the fences. Correct.
Starting point is 00:08:09 I'm going to, I'm going to, I'm going to smoke this drive. I think a part of that is like being on camera and on the show, like picking your spots where it's like, if I'm on the show, he's trying to hit long drives because he wants to, like, you know, he wants to hit a nice drive on the show. So that's understandable. He did a great flop shot today. He did. Yeah, he played really well. He did. He did place out.
Starting point is 00:08:28 I just think. I think we got to dial it in a little bit. He said it to you. No, he said to pop. He said to pop. You said in the cart, you said it to Bob. He said Bob. It was Bob, but I didn't say, I don't know why it went to Bob.
Starting point is 00:08:39 It was just like, it was just like out of nowhere. He said, he said, he said, hey, Bob, and then he put you off. He told you to fuck off. Yeah, I don't know what he did. Why? It was a brick, because you do it all the time. No, it was to you. It just came out.
Starting point is 00:08:55 That's tremendous. It was to you. I thought everybody knew that. He said, he literally said he goes Bob, and he's like, fuck you. I said great shot as the ball was still in the interview. He's been defending you the whole time. I know. I said in the car.
Starting point is 00:09:13 I don't know why I said it. I don't know why it was the record of Bob. It just came out. Yeah. Yeah, dude. Meet you guys in the Sim. No hands, dude. He said Bob.
Starting point is 00:09:26 Take it to the Sim. Take it to the Sim. That was terrible, by the way. Because Jensen said, let's take it to the sim, but we didn't believe how far he is. He goes, take it to the sim.
Starting point is 00:09:37 Well, I just don't think of any other, there's no other way to cite, we got a mid-90s golfer saying, take it to the sin, dude. There's literally no other way to settle this. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:09:48 I seriously don't know. You were you so very complimentary of his. Bob, then why were you so okay with him going at Pop? Because Pop gave him, him shit prior. There was a debate. I do think you said it to Pop. And then that's why I thought Pop wanted to make the Pry.
Starting point is 00:10:04 Correct. There was a situation prior with Pop. Fuck you, Bob. Yeah. I will say, the reason I did it in the first place at all was just because it was a joke because you do it all the time when people do it. But I don't know why I directed it at you. It kind of just came out.
Starting point is 00:10:18 I'll be honest. I think, Jay Bone, to be fully honest, I think you've been, and we finally eased in on this trip, but you've been rattled since yesterday afternoon with the flight situation and, like, the bad. and all that. I think you've been under a little stress because of that. Also, too, though, I, like, he was saying, or I don't know if you were saying it, but
Starting point is 00:10:36 in the beginning when he would first come on, I got to the nerves for him of, like, he's coming in, and now, Nixie, you know, he's swinging in front of hundreds of thousand million people, and then Joe would be like, make you film that, do this, sir, hurry up, hurry up. So, we had an incident today,
Starting point is 00:10:51 where, you know, he'd record the first Yeah, maybe you're a good, you can start in a place. There was one tea box. It was not a hole in a half. My hand is up. No, it's okay. It's fine.
Starting point is 00:11:04 Pop said if it was 2023, it would have been a different story. But now, you know, it's fine. I was a different guy. If that had happened, you'd be fired. You could meet Pop and Sim. Are you guys alluding to when he didn't press record? Today, I'm saying. That's crap.
Starting point is 00:11:19 Yeah, no, you are. I think you are right. It's a lot of stuff at him. So it's a little, it's intent. Yeah, especially when he's playing. It's like, I get that of like fucking. I will see. I do like the edginess that we're seeing out of J-bone lately.
Starting point is 00:11:33 You've come into your own, which is really good. Now, eight irons don't go 200 yards, but I do like the... I do like the little chippiness. It's good. Correct. And Lord knows. Anything else you want to say? I think you're out of the fire, though, now. I don't think it's out of cocky.
Starting point is 00:11:49 He's going back in. Right into it. Wait, wait, wait, let's hear, let's do it. Rolled out. No, I'm just saying, I don't think it's out of cockiness. I just think that, like, I generally my clubs are very strong lofted so
Starting point is 00:12:01 what did your soccer coach think of you? Did you soccer coach think you were cocky a little bit? No, I don't think so. I got to get on the phone with him. You call him Chuck Green. Chuck Green? Chuck Green? Chuck, if you're listening to
Starting point is 00:12:16 listen to him, look at that Pete's Mike. We just called him coach. It's like flubbering and look at that Mike, dude. That is crazy. Chuck, you're there? This is going to just be,
Starting point is 00:12:26 It's like you can suck it off Shrek Jaybone bang job What's that That was a dick Yeah all right You know Oh you meant That we were in that chicken place today
Starting point is 00:12:38 We're all at one table Think of somebody being out of Burger King Being at the table Finishing Putting their stuff up Going out coming back in Because they decided to order dessert And coming and sitting back
Starting point is 00:12:50 At that exact same table That's what we did You don't leave chicken Fiesta Without getting the fried ice cream You just don't do it. Yeah. But people had exited the... People had gotten like the fresh air of the outside and then came back in.
Starting point is 00:13:05 One guy had already gotten into an Uber. Yeah. He was gone. How was the ice cream? It was tremendous. It was good. Yeah. I think about the fried ice cream.
Starting point is 00:13:14 Like I guess it's, is it as simple as you... Can't be. Take the ice cream and dump it in the fryer? No, I think they bred at first the same way you would do with, like, chicken. Like, they put it in like a little, like, pancake batter on. Is that so? I think that's what I think so. I think so.
Starting point is 00:13:30 I agree. I think it's a quick fry. I think it's so hot. A flash flash flash. There's a guy on a, on TikTok who just fries chicken. Have you seen him? Yes, he's got a huge rig. He like wheels it down.
Starting point is 00:13:42 Heels it out. Yeah. It's a good shit. Awesome, dude. That is so fucking good. The oil's just bubbling. Dude, and then he pulls it out. It's like, who is that for?
Starting point is 00:13:54 How do you feel about the hydraulic press channel? Oh, I love that shit Yeah, only if it's good though I hate bad presses It's like the red press are bad It puts me on This thing just come Oh, that's great
Starting point is 00:14:06 Will it blend walk so that guy could run Dude Yeah That was fucking like Do you remember that from back in the day? Yeah so the hydraulic press sick Especially when they do something That like strings will pop out of the side
Starting point is 00:14:18 It's sensational Yeah Yeah Yeah I see it when you talk about when it like Presses Yeah I don't like when they do like a fucking piggy bank or something
Starting point is 00:14:25 That like falls off yeah There's still space. Yeah, I agree. I know, I hate that too. Fuck that. I want the hydraulic press to touch the bottom. What is a hydraulic press to have just like, what does a hydraulic press do?
Starting point is 00:14:34 Is that a dumb question? It's like an immense amount of pressure. Yeah. What's the use for? Like crushing things. Yeah. I think like trash compactors, like it's a very, it's like what they'll do like to compact trash. You know, like, they were like, they were just like, holy shit.
Starting point is 00:14:48 Very similar. Yeah. Holy shit. We have like hydraulic press. Let's see what we can fucking press. That's exactly right. They got rich off of that. You do muck.
Starting point is 00:14:55 You do muck bangs, probably. I don't do muck bangs. No, like you don't like watching them. I like ASMR food. That's what I mean. Not eating it, though. Not eating it, though. No, cooking.
Starting point is 00:15:05 No cooking. Asm. Dude, I think now more than ever. There's one. The guys who cook outside on the wood with the, in like the four, I got to send it to you. Oh, like on the rocks. Yeah, that one's cool. I think it's more easy, easier now to become famous than any time in the world.
Starting point is 00:15:25 because on any one of these platforms, like TikTok, the amount of people that are TikTok famous from like having a, if you have a certain niche or even just like, it's amazing. It doesn't take much to do it. No. You know, and you find your little thing and you get to like hack.
Starting point is 00:15:40 Like everything's got the little algorithm hack with like the music and the looping. Like when you kind of like start it at the end and then you like bring it into the beginning. I remember when that became a thing. It's like, am I watching the same? You don't realize that you've played it four times. Yeah. Because you've played it four times like, oh, this is my name. But people must like this video.
Starting point is 00:15:56 And then it sends other people. You always see the hacks. Like every two months, there's a new trend going, like with the slideshows, like on Instagram and the stuff on TikTok. There's always something. How much money have you spent playing golf? Starting point is 00:17:21 Feel this right here. Yeah, it's coming right up my back. Feels great. Oh, really? It's coming right up my back. It's coming right up my back. It feels like the equator in here. Remember at my first L.A. apartment, that leather couch I had?
Starting point is 00:17:34 Dude, it was so bad. No AC. Bob had it was the same one you brought for the units going at once? What's that? Was it the same leather couch that you had at the next one? No. Oh, my. This thing was.
Starting point is 00:17:46 Dude, your AC went out. And we slept like the last night we slept there because I can't sleep with clothes on. Well, not like a shirt. I can't sleep with a shirt on. So I'm on this leather couch of his, which thank you, thank you for having me. And it got so hot that, like, I fell asleep. And, you know, I was in the same position for five or six hours. So when I woke up and tried to move, I, like, it was, like, tore my skin off my body.
Starting point is 00:18:09 Oh, my God. I remember, like, oh. I believe it's like, he could probably hear it from his bedroom, be, like, move. Yeah, just like, ah. Wasn't that? That was the day we went to. We went to the Hermitia Hotel that we should not. have gone to stay at that.
Starting point is 00:18:26 We ran up this car. We had no business saying. We could have stayed anywhere, bro. We did not have to stay there. I know. And then we were on the arrivals list with the guy from Liv Golf. So it was it?
Starting point is 00:18:40 Who was it? This is His Excellency. Oh, yeah. And then they had him of the arrival. It was like his excellency, the main guy of Liv and then me and F. Isn't that where Mr. Stub comes from? Yeah. Oh, Mr. Stubb?
Starting point is 00:18:53 Oh, Mr. Stub. Good for afternoon. We have, Mrs. Stubb. Good morning, dude. Yeah. You went there. By the way, you stayed there for a little bit longer after I left, too. Yeah, you were there for another two, three nights after you left.
Starting point is 00:19:10 We started there because I was visiting. And I had to be comfortable. And then the week after I left, I don't know what that was. Because that one, that didn't make no sense. Bob, what are you guys doing? He's like, oh, we're just going. The sauna. We did the Super Bowl.
Starting point is 00:19:28 We did a podcast. Bro, we did the second Bob to the Sports podcast. We did a fucking podcast. The second Bob to Sports podcast was on the roof there. From the rooftop. You know what I'm talking about. You guys were like, it was like you guys were like residents. Look.
Starting point is 00:19:42 Yes, we did. I sat in the steam room. The first pod. The first pod was at Chevy Chase Country Club in L.A. And the second pod was on the roof of the ermitage, which doesn't, shouldn't have an L in its name. but it does for some reason. You remember when that guy swam over to you and wouldn't stop talking about the pitching situation?
Starting point is 00:20:01 He started off gray. It was funny. And then he just kept going to. Talking about how you struck someone out. A Gatorade player of the year. True. Yeah. That's right.
Starting point is 00:20:14 Do you think he's watching? Three fucking car players. I hope Bruce Green is. Smell you later. Is it Bruce Green? Is it Bruce Green? Talk about Chuck Green. Coach.
Starting point is 00:20:22 Oh, that is a great coach. Did you call him coach? Yeah. Yeah. In high school for soccer? No, not really. Did any kids get like some scollies or no? One kid did.
Starting point is 00:20:34 He plays for some club night, but he was like a, he was already good before he got to high school. You seem like the kind of guy that was like not passing the ball enough. I played defense. That feels like a shot. I mean, he took it from, he took it from your golf game. I took it from the golf situation. I wasn't saying just the look of you.
Starting point is 00:20:53 you, I was saying from the, like, I'm going to smoke it. No, no. I play defense, dude. He doesn't think he was. I was very coachable. Talk to Chuck about that. Chuck you on the horn. He's just out there like Beckham, just doing all the tricks.
Starting point is 00:21:08 And just like, there's an open guy. He's pulling kids into his office that are fucking around and be like, look, I saw a kid like you one time. He had all the feedback, wouldn't pass the ball. Dog didn't practice. little guy with the name of Jensen Custis, all right? Let me tell you that. Now, Jensen had to drop out of college. He's hitting eight irons 200 yards.
Starting point is 00:21:29 That's right. We got bad news here. I was going to say, Mikey V who's hosting the Breezy, can't make it. What happened? He can't flight, yeah. Is it actually canceled?
Starting point is 00:21:40 Dude, Newark's been a problem. A lot of people are probably, there were a lot of people coming in today. I thought they were done with that. Do you know how many times I've gotten canceled from Newark to fucking Richmond and had to drive? Remember how many times I've had to fuck?
Starting point is 00:21:52 fucking drive home. Newark to Richmond? Dude, I swear to God. They just, they just cancel that flight because there's like four of them a day and they just cancel them.
Starting point is 00:22:01 Newark's already fucked right now. They just, they're like, yeah, we're not flying that. Oh, Newark is the ones that they've been having troubles
Starting point is 00:22:06 with the radar. I thought they were done with that. I thought they were better. I don't know, dude, they keep cancel. Who's gonna host tomorrow? Grill guy? Last second?
Starting point is 00:22:13 No, what did we got in town? Oh, I'd love grill guy. Hmm, who's here? No, a host, maybe we do a hostless event? Yeah,
Starting point is 00:22:22 What's the problem with that? Conan O'Brien, he did the Oscars. You want to host? I feel like you'd do a great job. I'll host it. What'd you have? All right, Bob. All right, folks. This episode of Bob does sports is brought to you by the one, the only.
Starting point is 00:22:32 The fine folks over at shady, crazy. These sunglasses are as good as it gets. An independently owned company on the golf course. They're great. Off the golf course. They're great. Stunning. If I do say so myself.
Starting point is 00:22:46 And they got a protection program where if you don't like your glasses or if they happen to break, send them on back head on over to shady raise.com use promo code BDS that's promo code BDS for 35 percent off your next order of shady raised shady raise shady raise dot com we'll see you over it's great over here oh no no no no you're gonna love it though um you're gonna love it over here pop I'll switch do a mid pod switch you're not far enough you're not really getting help it does wait but it's a middle it's a middle seat you're in the middle seat that's like getting on a middle scene on a plane seat. I'm also burning up. You're not as burning up as
Starting point is 00:23:24 they are. It's a total geography thing. It's going to be tonight. Puffin. It's like Jet, Jet asking me if he could switch with me. No, I am seriously working on it. I think it's getting worse. I saw me in, I was editing the episode, and I witnessed myself. What happened? You did? I did.
Starting point is 00:23:39 I did, and I was like, bro, this is. What did you do? Now, other people were fucking around too, that I had issues with, but accounting only hand up on my own behavior, I saw. I saw it. And I was like, I've got to chill the fuck off. What did you see?
Starting point is 00:23:55 Sometimes I'm right, but that's not the point. Right. So you saw yourself calling out like... Sometimes I'm just too crazy. I got to like stay in my own lane and like worry about my own life. And if other people want to talk shit about me, there's nothing not in the eye. Fuck everybody. He looked me right to the eye when he said that.
Starting point is 00:24:13 You said something that. Pop, if it makes you feel better, you are a lot better from years ago. I used to see him in the four seasons and the last. locker room and be like, hey Bob, do you like me? And I'll be like, yeah, Bob, like, yeah, I do. And he'd be like, do. And he'd be like, do. Because I don't think you like me. I'd be like, yeah, yeah, dude. Mike, I just met him. Like, I didn't really even know him that way. You couldn't like him. Couldn't possibly like him or ate him at that point. So his locker, my locker was right by his locker. So I'd always see him when I was going out, you were coming in. I invited pop. I invited pop to my pool. I should have already been gone. So when he came in with... By the time you came in, I was supposed to be out of there. I remember the first time you actually
Starting point is 00:24:56 met, I was at San Vicente and I invited you both to the pool. And we were in my pool. We were having beers and the pool. Do you remember that? Yeah. On the job. You're asking him questions about Jersey and stuff. No, no. His... That's when he had his... He had his Eminem, his stand here. Oh, yeah. So when you guys were working together, you guys were just all
Starting point is 00:25:17 acquaintances? So he was at the pool. I was at the front desk, so I would see him after the shifts. You just called him Neil, I assume. Yeah, I would just call him Neil, but yeah, he would do that all the time. We called him demo too for a penna.
Starting point is 00:25:30 Then we had a crew with those, like a really good crew that we would all go out and have. Remember with like Michelle Litton, Michelle? Like, we had a great crew that we would go out with. But he would always come at me, he'd be like, hey, would you want to hang off me again? And I'll be like, yeah, man, for sure. I'd be like, do you actually, though?
Starting point is 00:25:46 and I'd be like, yeah, like, like, I mean, he's like, I don't think you do. And then that's, I get it. I understand that. The fuck is wrong. And I just be like, yo, fuck this guy. Like, what the fuck is this deal? What really behind that is my insecurity about not liking myself and I so desperately want you to like, like it.
Starting point is 00:26:02 I got the same point out to be. I do here with all of this that I know is very annoying. It's all about me in the way I feel about myself and my insecurity. Yeah, of course. And I'm projecting it on you because I want you to see in me what I can't see in myself. It's not going to stop him for making fun of you, but it's great. Like, that's true. I know, but like, I don't want, but he, I could tell me the look on his face that he thinks that I,
Starting point is 00:26:24 No, I get what you're saying. Very much is all about it. But you told you some reason. You've always been worse with Bob than almost anyone else. Because I've always really liked Bob and I wanted him to be my friend. Didn't like any of us. Did you hate Cutsi? No, no, I'm talking about back then when I didn't know you guy.
Starting point is 00:26:40 I'm like at the hotel. Cotty was the ultimate. There was a time where I didn't really like Pop and Cutsy rode for pop and was like, no, trust me. He's never not. So the day? So when was it that you didn't like this? This was way. Way early on.
Starting point is 00:26:53 Honestly, very early. When I was asking you those questions? It might have been around that time. I didn't think you, it was when you were going through your really tough time. In your defense, yes. And there was times where I was like,
Starting point is 00:27:06 yo, the fuck is wrong with that guy. Well, Bob, in fairness, you. And Bob is the biggest people person and he loves everyone and everyone loves him. He is a harsh critic. He'll be like you know that guy didn't say hi to me as loud as I want
Starting point is 00:27:20 And then he's like yeah and then that's true That's so true dude He won't dislike the guy He doesn't dislike the guy afterwards but he's like you know like His handshake wasn't firm enough And then he'll leave and then he's like I don't something so that's That might be what happened with you That's a great
Starting point is 00:27:37 But he doesn't know about that guy You sort of acknowledge it today with the old guys behind us You were like I gotta stop judging people right on You're like, that guy was the nicest guy ever. There is definitely, but it's not like you hate. It's very little things. He didn't say thank you. Like, why?
Starting point is 00:27:54 Like, what's that about? Like, yeah. Look, I do think part of that for sure is a problem. I will think that part of it is I think I have a very, I think I have a very high social IQ. Sure. And see social mannerisms very, very well about people. And you like to banter.
Starting point is 00:28:12 You like to just converse about things. So it's like any. With that being said, Some of it is too much. And then I end up having a wrong read on somebody. You know what I mean? Like it happens a lot with golf in general. I think when somebody is on your ass in golf, like when somebody's up on you,
Starting point is 00:28:30 naturally anybody's instinct is to be like, yo, like fuck these guys. Like they're up on us or whatever. And then you have a time where you meet up with them and they're totally cool. Yeah, yeah. That happened today. I think with us all, I definitely, I was like, yo, these guys are on our ass and stuff. And we come, we meet and they could not have been. nicer. Yeah, they wanted to know what we, like, curious about what you, you know, not in like,
Starting point is 00:28:49 explain yourself. Like, true, like, I got to ask. Like, what's this? And they were like, YouTube, like, oh, cool. Couldn't have been nice. You guys had fun. How are you playing? Like, that were all right. Yeah. Cool. That being said, when we were done, Joey and I kept playing, and we ran into some people who weren't as friendly. Talk to me about that. A couple guys were. You play is a two-sum? Yeah. You guys kept playing. That's tough. That's tough. We didn't hear about this. No shit. Yeah. Well, Pop was, Pop has found something on the golf course. How do you play on the back? And so I said to this to pop it.
Starting point is 00:29:18 I'm going to address it to everybody else because I do truly believe it's a real thing. That there are times when you're schlepping it and you're like not playing well, you just can't wait to get off the course. But there are times where you feel like, and I think it doesn't matter what level of skill player, when you're striping the ball, you're seeing good puts roll in, you're making good contact. And the weather's nice. It's just like, this is fun. And I could tell that Pop was in that element and he was in that mode. And I said to him at one point, I was like, you know, it's a nice day right now. We're going to go back to the hotel.
Starting point is 00:29:54 We don't have anything for a while. We should just play. And he was all in on it. And so I was like, so much so that I was like, well, we don't have a car. He's like, we can Uber back. I was like, okay, we're going to do it. And he was striping the ball. Like, I'm telling you, the last several holes, he was pounding driver to the point where I was like,
Starting point is 00:30:11 pop, you're like a new, new guy out there. But we got out there and we had talked with you guys. We sent off and then we went to the 10th hole. And there was like a for some ahead of us. And then I was like, it's so hot we should go get a drink. We went to go back towards that little area to get a beverage. And I saw a cart with a couple old guys coming up. And I was like, those are the guys behind those guys.
Starting point is 00:30:34 We need to get back to the tea box. We already teed off, actually. And I was like, we got to get out there. And so we passed them and Pop went to the guys. It's like, hey guys, what's up? Just like you know, we already teed off. We just went to go grab something, and we're heading back into the fairway.
Starting point is 00:30:48 And the guy, like, questioned. Couldn't fathom it. He kind of gave pops of attitude. And he was. Did you give it back to him? It is, it is, it is, it is. It is abnormal, but like, he was not, he just couldn't fathom the fact that there was
Starting point is 00:31:05 two balls out of us. And then any time we looked back, it was hand on the hip the whole time. Hand on hip. You got to be nicer. Devil's advocate is they weren't behind it too. Yes. They have no idea where you guys came from.
Starting point is 00:31:18 So it was sort of like, they don't know, they think maybe you just went off 10. Yes. Of course. Right. I understand what they could be thinking. I just, the way he looked at me for how wrong without being able to say anything. And like, he was like, I can't.
Starting point is 00:31:33 So you hit already, huh? And yeah, we did. I explained to the guys that we were out there. And he's like, okay, well, we weren't behind. Like, he just could have been nice. you're about it. It's very simple to just be like, okay, well, I mean, it's a little out of order here, but we think... Did the
Starting point is 00:31:49 D-Man come in at all? No, I don't think he did. I don't think I said a single thing. You took the rain there? I let Pop take it, because there was no point in, I only said one thing when he asked about us being in front. I was like, actually we were ahead of your friends beforehand. We dropped our buddies off, so that's why you didn't see us ahead of you.
Starting point is 00:32:05 Yeah, and then the other guys, so here's my next question. The other guys couldn't have been nicer with the guys ahead of them. They let us go through, which is I think the guys you saw. but here's my question because it was a little weird they motioned us through they were on the fairway we said okay they went off to the side we hit
Starting point is 00:32:21 and then normally I would think if you're letting someone play through you just kind of wait there and let the guys through no you can hit okay because they started driving up to their ball and I was like pop let's get the fuck off of this hole no no no no no like if they're up ahead of you already and you hit somebody will go to their ball hit and then when you get there you guys go
Starting point is 00:32:39 I don't know what that you might even they might you might even get up on the green together really And then you put out See, I always, if I've ever let someone through It's better for pace, right? Yeah. That way you don't totally freeze. I just didn't know what the ruling was because if I let somebody through, I just let,
Starting point is 00:32:52 I stay off to the side to let them go right through. But I was kind of, I said, I was like, let's get the fuck off this hole and go. I always feel defenseless like when we're not filming, fine, then I look at things,
Starting point is 00:33:03 but it's like when you're filming or when we had like the 3V3, you really have no like to stand on in the sense of A, the course, letting you go out there at film, but B, like we have six people around the green you have cameras It looks terrible
Starting point is 00:33:16 It looks like you're slowing down pace Even if you're not Even today We were moving pretty quick today We were effective We did alt shot to the green Then a scramble If you saw us on the green
Starting point is 00:33:27 There's six people playing And they're like hand in putters to each other But yeah T to green it's two people It's a two-sum So it's this You know if you're behind You don't know what's going on
Starting point is 00:33:37 And the first time you see it's when six people are punting at the green You got everything like You could be like What the fuck is all this? Yeah And you're not going to notice that the Alch.
Starting point is 00:33:46 It's a nicer course, too, plus there's older guys who just, they don't understand the world that we're in. So I do listen, I normally can be kind of not as understanding. I get it. From that point, perspective, I get it. I understand where they're coming from. But that being said,
Starting point is 00:34:02 pop, striping the ball. Played very well today, man. All stemmed from a tip that bin Yaman gave me in Utah. I said, I said, 200 and out, take eight I'll tell you what. Jensen wouldn't have taken that tip. Damn.
Starting point is 00:34:19 See, I'll take it any... Chuck Green. And with that, let's get into... What you gotta say? Okay, go ahead. Say, go for it. I will take any tips to fix my golf thing. I don't know where this came from.
Starting point is 00:34:30 Well, how come then when I... It's not the swing. And this is not a shot. I love you. But you always say, why I play Mavericks? That's a good point. But you're not playing Mavericks today. That's what's crazy.
Starting point is 00:34:42 so you should factor that in. But I don't know his loft. That's just... But then what are you claiming? What do you seem to do? You didn't know he's... That's the guy saying I caught it a little healy. Like, just hit the ball.
Starting point is 00:34:54 And I wish I could say who that guy is. I'm just playing off the default what I would hit. And then I just... But then you're saying, well, I play Mavericks. But Jaybon. So that's my issue is I don't believe that you typically hit your Maverick 8 Iron 1-9. I just don't believe it.
Starting point is 00:35:05 Really? I don't believe it. Dick it to the Sim. He hits it fucking far. With that being said, I do see what they're, I do see what they're saying that it doesn't you don't seem open to like oh hey like can i ask you one question are you trying like and there's nothing wrong with this because i i would understand i actually think i would understand it more are you trying to like have a moment because you've you've had a couple videos where you haven't
Starting point is 00:35:29 played great listen that's not a shot every second video i don't play great so i feel it but are you trying to have like that one big epic moment where it's like okay oh you know my past he's arrived Yeah, like you're here. That's what I used to do. I bet it, yeah, that's a valid thing to do, by the way. No, I just think with, I know my swing with how far I hit it. And I, if I, you know it with Mavericks. If I crush it, it goes the number.
Starting point is 00:35:57 But if I take anything off of it, I lose all my distance immediately. So it's like, it's hard for me to gauge my swing if I don't swing hard. But do you ever swing easy? Do you ever, like, hit a stock iron or you just rip in every single thing that you have? I'm talking about like the driver on that one hole. What? I'm talking about like the one hole where I was like, just swing easy. It's a big fair way and you're like, I'm going to, I'm going to swing.
Starting point is 00:36:19 I'm going to fucking hit the shit out of it. No, no, I wasn't trying to create a moment. I was, I just wanted to hit it hard. I mean, I just, yeah, dude. That's cool. You know what? That's cool shit, dude. Keep doing that.
Starting point is 00:36:31 Keep fucking doing that. He's back. Let's take your shit. Let's go into our Q&A here. Send it, dude. How do we have? Are you saying you swing hard? Oh.
Starting point is 00:36:46 Just quickly. Because, like, it's harder for you to make contact with the ball. Like, you make your best contact when you swing hard. Yeah. I understand. And, like, it's easier.
Starting point is 00:36:54 Like, if I swing easy, it starts doing all this. It goes right a lot. Mm-hmm. Swing hard. It goes straight. Yeah. It's my... If you can hit a ball like that.
Starting point is 00:37:03 That'll impress the fuck out of me, dude. That's a knuckle ball. Yeah. Who has better food? California or Jupiter? It's a massive state. Are we talking to L.A.? Yeah, you got to go L.
Starting point is 00:37:13 I would say L. L. Listen, it's got to be Europe or Lincolnwood, Illinois. It's got to be L.A. with out of question. But that being said, I was very critical and very worried about the food scene in Jupiter. And I will say they have a good spot for everything. So they have a good pizza spot. They have a good deli.
Starting point is 00:37:34 They have a good Italian spot. So like you get everything that you need. It's just you can't compare to the massive sprawl that you have in L.A. where you have new restaurants, like I couldn't even go to the new restaurants because they were popping up left, right, and center. And then the Mexican food that you had, I mean, L.A. was special for food.
Starting point is 00:37:53 Dude, I almost, it was, like, sad when I went to New York for Showtime's wedding. I mean, I wrote ordered sandwiches, like chicken colored sandwiches, and then bagels are bacon and egg and cheeses. And there's nothing in L.A. that has that or nothing, really nothing in Jupiter that is close to the New Jersey, New York bagel. I know a lot of people say that, but like, I really do mean it.
Starting point is 00:38:15 I've tried every bagel spot. There's not one bagel spot. Even L.A.? L.A. is a lot closer, for sure. Hank's in L.A. was pretty solid. But compared to New York. It is so much different. And I do think a lot of times people say that, and it's not necessarily true.
Starting point is 00:38:32 Like, in L.A., you can find just about anything, like, Italian that is just as good as New York. Bagels and those sub-sambwiches. And pizza. I love Joseph's. Yeah. I love like Joseph's, but it just is nowhere near. No, it's not. This north-y, it's so incredibly better.
Starting point is 00:38:49 But that being said, it's like saying, what's better for golf? Jupiter or L.A.? Oh, yeah. And also, you said, other items for Jupiter, there's almost, you could find almost just about everything. But it was sad. Sad day, bad day. Sad. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:05 Sad? Sad. That's sad. I do see you got, it's funny. Like when you were in L.A., Or when we're all in LA, I guess, like, you'd go to different restaurants, it'd be cracked one night, it'd be this place one night, be that night.
Starting point is 00:39:17 Most of the time I see y'all doing stuff like at dinners, it's like lemon chello. Lemonschello, like, it's Lemonschello over and over and over. It's like the same street for restaurants. The other thing, too, is we travel so much that, like, we're going to other spots. It's not like we're just, like, five nights. You know what I mean? Like, we're on the move a lot.
Starting point is 00:39:37 So it's nice. When I'm home, Nicole likes to cook. I like to eat. home bunch and then like once or twice we'll go out for dinner but yeah it's not like i had a real low moment at lemon chello the first time and i took you guys there and you guys didn't like it that much i took you to lemmicello the first time that it was it was you and yams to lemmicello and you guys were not enjoying it at all it was i was in a bad place you were in a terrible mood that day he kept taking these subtle shot me no demar no go
Starting point is 00:40:11 He was really taking shots every step of the way about Jupiter. And then, like, you know, he's like, the people are too old. And mind you, my parents are there. He's like, you know, they're just old. Your parents burn out at limoncello. It was just us. No, they're in Jupiter at the time. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:40:26 And then he's saying, like, you know, the people are too old. And then this guy turns this, like, really older Jewish guy. Like, and he's like, are you guys here for the early bird special too? And I was like, oh. No, he, I remember clear his day what he said, we were there. It was like 515 or 530. He's like, if you guys would have shown up half an hour earlier, you would have gotten two for one appetizers.
Starting point is 00:40:49 And I was like, oh my God. But the problem is, is you brought us in July. It was hotter than tits. It was like so hot. It was like, oh my God. He kept taking, like, you know with South Carolina with you where he'll take like the shots over? Like he takes the shots.
Starting point is 00:41:05 And it's like, if I went to Vancouver and just kept fucking roasting it, It starts to staying a little bit. Vancouver's pretty incredible city. You judge Vancouver just on the Airbnb and that first meal we ordered, like that pizza place. He can't lose. He can't lose because he's either bashing you or he's playing dumb. Like he can't lose.
Starting point is 00:41:26 What is with this plain dumb shit that you think you're on to now? And we got the pizza in Canada. And I was watching him. He wouldn't say the pizza was too bad. He was like, yeah, I think we just picked a bad place. That place to be picked was awful. I never heard of my life. If that happened to Jupiter, then the city's to.
Starting point is 00:41:43 But I will ask collectively, I do think you guys think Vancouver is a good city, no? Yeah. We do, but notice how the pizza didn't change their perspective on the whole place. Correct. The pizza was like, we're like, all right, there's still the Chinese food. We have to see other spots. Yeah, I wouldn't judge a place based on one meal. I was judging a place based on a culmination of things.
Starting point is 00:42:08 things. And by the way, when you took us, Bob ran it back very strategically, waited until October, had Alex, hey, no, he had a list from all the things you didn't like. It was like, how do I come back? Oh yeah. He had us come back. I called Alex. Fine, let me show it.
Starting point is 00:42:23 It was like the original NIL deal. It was like, he ran it back. And dining us. Oh, no, it's true. West Palm. I called Alice. You ran it back in October. I called them. I said, look, I just like I need your help. It was terrible the first time
Starting point is 00:42:40 and then he got us on the boat. And the weather was beautiful and I looked at Bob and I was like, all right. You got us to move there on that trip. Yeah. That was the point. That was the point. He told me on a life that just wasn't going to be my...
Starting point is 00:42:53 Oh, shut up. Well, that's crazy, Pop. Can you? That is crazy. No, no. Hang on. Me. He's joking. But he's joking.
Starting point is 00:43:03 But he's joking. But that's fucking. That's fucking hilarious. I was kidding. You sold me a dream, Bob. you saw me a dream you said we were all going to hang out Bob
Starting point is 00:43:11 there was no boat for me when I got there Bob I had to be seen I have no boat but can you also can you also admit that Jupiter in July is a much different place
Starting point is 00:43:23 than Jupiter in mid-October of course it's a different place Jupiter in the fall and winter is it's in January February oh my God
Starting point is 00:43:34 thanks December November it was just that There's nothing better. You're 100% right, but you were so hard, you would take so many shots, and then it started hailing during the Busted Jack video. And he's like, what is this stuff? We had to stop filming because of the hail.
Starting point is 00:43:50 That was a fire video. It's a good video. One day that'll drop. Grand Bustadjury. The best three-hole YouTube video ever made. Just run it back. It was in, see, was there a chip-in? There was like two chippins.
Starting point is 00:44:02 That's from the vault. We should just stitch holes from episodes that didn't make it together and just make one- that's like a front of Frankenstein. episode. Frankenstein episode. Talking about Frankenstein's monster. There's probably five or six.
Starting point is 00:44:11 It'll be funny, like one hole from the mini pot. That should be like the end of the year like before New Year's just like the compilation of a video. You lose your phone? Who lost their phone? I did.
Starting point is 00:44:22 I did. Yes. Along with my dignity. Total meltdown. Where we had? To the fans, would you want to see? You guys left without me. Just one.
Starting point is 00:44:30 One whole of each video would be really funny. All right, let's do one more. Lucas Sheen wants to know what does Bangor rang Rufio mean? Great question. It doesn't mean anything.
Starting point is 00:44:41 It's more a way of life. It's from Peter Pan. It's from Peter Pan. So to be honest, the first time I said it, I don't even know why I said it. It was like, I didn't know. Like, I had made a big moment. I was so not used
Starting point is 00:44:57 to hitting a big shot or making a big putt. And one of my favorite movies when I used to, growing up, was Hook. And the lost boys would always scream, bang orang Rufio Anytime something went well And for some reason I just like an idiot
Starting point is 00:45:13 Screamed that out And then it just ended up becoming Like that's a great fucking man Remember we had a meet and greet The guy comes to us He's like he's like I'm friends with Rufi The guy that's played Rufiow
Starting point is 00:45:23 He's like he's like he's like He's like I love y'all shit He's like he loves it dude He said Rupio's my cousin And I was like Do we have a copyright on our hands? It's crazy It's like when
Starting point is 00:45:35 Rufio loves your guy Shit. It's like when that actor, who was that actor used to say his name? And then he sent to DM and he's like, oh, he loves that shit. There's an actor. Oh, the kid from the gonies? Yes, the kid, that kid actor that you always say. He's the red curly hair. He's like, you had a golf line that you changed, you had a golf line and you changed into this kid's name. Lipnicki. Lipnicki. Yeah. Yeah. Jonathan Lipnicki. And he reached out. Jonathan from Rip Nick. Rippnicki. Or chip Nikki. Yes. And then he works. He's like, I love.
Starting point is 00:46:07 that share. By the way, and then I didn't know you guys did that. Yeah. DM me and I was like, so I used to work with him at Action Park Media. Lipnicki? Yeah. He reached out to Boba.
