Okay, Tommy. Federal agents have killed another American citizen in Minneapolis.
A 37-year-old man who border patrol wrestled to the ground, hit with an object,
and then shot at least 10 times while he was still on the ground.
Here's the clearest video yet. There's a couple different angles.
This is from a witness who was right there, and it was just posted by DropSight News.
Let's play it.
And see, that's the man with a brown coat.
It seems like these ice agents attack them.
Yes.
There's the man right who gets killed right there in the middle street.
There he is in middle of the street.
And all he's got is his phone.
He's attacked that person.
Pepper sprays them.
And there he is.
And he appears to be pulling a protester off the ground there.
He's trying to help the protester who is on the ground.
The fuck people.
The fuck is wrong with you.
Honestly.
So sickening.
So the New York Times just posted, they analyzed that video and a bunch of other videos frame by frame.
And I think this is a helpful description.
And then maybe you can just react to what you saw.
It says several agents tussled with the man before bringing him to his knees.
The man appears to resist as the agents grab his legs, push down on his back, strike him repeatedly.
The footage shows an agent approaching and grabbing at the man as the others hold him down.
The agent appears to pull a gun from among the group.
simultaneously another agent unholsters his firearm.
The agent aims at the man's back and appears to fire one shot at close range.
He then appears to continue firing at the man who collapses.
A third agent unholsters his weapon.
Both agents appear to fire additional shots at the man as he lies motionless on the ground
in total at least 10 shots.
Yeah, I mean, these people are wildly untrained or unprofessional.
They're the most trigger-happy group of fucking cowboy thug monsters I've ever seen.
They're clearly making the streets of Minneapolis less safe.
and it is horrifying to watch this.
Because you can see in that video, look,
we don't know everything happened beforehand
that everything happened afterwards, obviously.
But what it appears is that these people are filming ice operations.
You can hear whistles being blown,
which is a signal to the community that ice is coming
and they're trying to warn people.
And this man's filming.
And you can see an ice guy runs, or CPP, whoever it was,
runs over to a protester who's like just barely on the street,
shoves the person to the ground
and then starts pepper spraying them in the face.
And it looks like the man who was ultimately executed by these ICE or CBP thugs.
I don't know if it's ICE or CBP. Do you know, John?
I think it's Border Patrol. These Border Patrol thugs who are, by the way,
responsible for some of the worst abuses, start beating them and pushing them down.
And then this man, you know, he may have had a gun, obviously, like that changes the risk level
for these officers in a situation. But there are three, four, five people, large men on top of
of this guy and there's others right in the area.
The idea that anyone was at risk in this moment, besides the protesters who were being beaten
and pepper sprayed and thrown to the ground and attacked by these guys who were ostensibly sent
to protect the community.
It is like, it is, I mean, it is one of the most shocking things I've ever seen.
And, you know, like once again, fucking Stephen Miller is out already with a tweet calling this
person a domestic terrorist.
And you know where this happens?
Putin's Russia.
That's where this happens.
fuck mass federal agents go to your community they execute you and then they say you were a terrorist
and that you deserved it that's where we're fucking living right now right now that that is what is
happening right now this is absolutely lawless dictatorship police state like a nightmare this is this is
Alex Jones's fever dream of what like a law enforcement crackdown could look like come to life
and it is absolutely horrifying and people in Minnesota are just begging like please just leave us
alone. Get out of here. You're, you're killing her community. And, like, Stephen Miller's basically
just leaning in, calling this guy a terrorist once again. And DHS is also saying, well, the Border Patrol,
they were engaged, they were trying to find an illegal alien who was wanted for violent crimes.
And it's like, if you wanted to do that, that's not the, there's, there's DHS agents,
federal agents, CPP, Border Patrol, ICE, everywhere, all over the streets, all over the
streets, like militarized occupation. That's not how to carry out a fucking operation to
apprehend an undocumented immigrant. There's ways to carry out that operation. We've seen it for
decades now. And this is not how to do it. You mentioned... Cops arrest people all the time
without executing American citizens in the process. If your goal is to reduce the risk to citizens
of this country by removing some felon who you say is here illegally, if,
the process to do so requires executing American citizens, whether it's Renee Good or this
individual who is just massacred or killed today. Like, you're not doing the job right. This is not
the goal here. Let's talk about the response. Governor Walls said he spoke at the White House
and has demanded this operation. And Jacob Fry, Amy Klobuchar, other Minnesota officials
are calling on the operation to end. Stephen Miller has now blamed everyone who's calling on the
to end to help. He's saying that they have caused this killing. He also is lying and saying
that the man is a domestic terrorist, as you said, who tried to assassinate these officers,
which everyone can see. It's not true. No matter what the details are, no matter other angles,
whatever, it's clear that this man was not a domestic terrorist trying to assassinate the agents.
Anyone can see that from the video. But we're going to watch a video from,
this is the Minnesota officials held a press conference sort of responding to this. This is
police chief of Brian O'Hara.
But I think the video speaks for itself.
What I can tell you is we have identified this person, 37-year-old white male, resident of the
city.
The only interaction that we are aware of with law enforcement has been for traffic tickets,
and we believe he is a lawful gun owner with a permit to carry.
Initially, some information was relayed to me over the radio that we were, our officers
were told that they were either not needed or could live.
leave, and I gave a direct order to ensure that Minneapolis police maintain the scene as well as other state and local law enforcement.
Our demand today is for those federal agencies that are operating in our city, to do so with the same discipline,
humanity, and integrity that effective law enforcement in this country demands.
We urge everyone to remain peaceful.
We recognize that there is a lot of anger and a lot of questions around what has happened.
but we need people to remain peaceful.
What he said there, and the Star Tribune in Minneapolis reported this as well,
is the feds tried to push local police away
because they didn't want them to investigate the crime scene.
The Tribune also reported that ICE transported several witnesses to the crime to detention.
So now they are locking up the witnesses,
telling the local police to go away,
because I just saw NBC News just reported that,
DHS will be investigating this, not the FBI.
There's also witnesses and reports that as the after this man was killed and protesters started screaming, one of the federal agents who was involved turned to them all and said boo who.
Yeah.
So that's where we are now.
So right now the official response from people who execute Americans is either fucking bitch or boo hoo-hoo.
That's what we've heard from, you know, the shooters or the people around them.
Look, the police chief there, O'Hara, I think Brian O'Hara, was recently interviewed on The Daily, the New York Times podcast, The Daily, after the Renee Good shooting.
And he, I believe, was brought in after the murder of George Floyd and the subsequent protests and violence that summer.
And he talked about all the work that have been done by the police force in Minneapolis to rebuild trust and relationships.
relationships with the community and how concerned he was that the ICE presidents, the CBP
presidents, the federal agents in town were going to just rip apart the community all over again
and destroy all the work they'd done and all the work that it was actually keeping people
safer and that had gotten the murder rate down. Everything he talked about in that interview,
everything he was concerned about is coming to light. His community is getting attacked.
His police officers are getting racially profiled by ICE agents themselves.
protesters are flooding to the streets in six-degree weather because they are so scared and outraged
and furious about what is happening.
Donald Trump is making Minneapolis less safe.
It is by design.
This is what Stephen Miller wants.
He wants to kill you and then call you a terrorist to further his political project.
This is horrifying.
Hopefully this video should be a wake-up call to every single person who has not been paying
attention.
If the Renee Good shooting wasn't clear enough that she was just,
executed when this ice agent was no longer in harm's way.
Like, you cannot watch that video and tell me that four guys, five guys, six guys,
couldn't have secured that scene without firing 10 bullets from two different people
into that man's body when he was on the ground.
It's pretty clear that the agent, if you watch another angle of the video,
the agent sort of emerges from the scrum in the New York Times reported this too with a gun.
It does match the gun that they think was the man's gun who was assassinated,
which means that they disarmed him before shooting him ten times.
After bashing him in the face with what looked like either a can of something
or a gun, another gun like pistol whipping him with something.
Right after O'Hare spoke there, they brought on the city's emergency management director
who has been dealing with all of this chaos.
And she said it was pretty astounding.
She says her background is an international humanitarian response in conflict zones
in Yemen, Haiti, Syria, Iraq.
and Ukraine. And she said, what I've seen here is what I've seen there, a powerful entity
violently and intentionally terrorizing people. That is the city's emergency management director.
The last clip we have is just immediately after the shooting, obviously protesters and
just citizens in the street are terrified, they're screaming. And as opposed to trying to calm
the situation, ICE, Border Patrol, whoever, all the federal agents there, continue to try
to brutalize people who are witnessing this murder.
So let's watch.

Jesus Christ.
It's horrifying.
What's the point of being an American citizen if that's how you get treated?
We have a name now about who the man was. His name was Alex Pretty, who was murdered.
I'm just like sort of watching this unfold here.
the wall says that they're going to make sure that they try to find all the evidence
and catalog all the evidence to make sure they can do their own investigation.
This is just fucking wild shit.
Yeah, I mean, look, we're recording this at 1140 a.m. Pacific Times,
so, you know, there's going to be a lot that comes out in the next few hours.
I think what we've seen is federal agents invade a city for purely political
reasons. There's absolutely no reason that Minneapolis, of all places, needed the largest ice deployment
in U.S. history. It was entirely because the White House saw a political benefit to exploiting
tensions in the Somali community after that viral video about some of these fraud allegations
that, by the way, had already been reported on, had already been prosecuted, and was really,
really bad with something you'd clean up and deal with without massive ice deployment. And now
what you have is this ice invasion and the execution of multiple American citizens solely because of
their presence.
They are making people less safe.
They are killing American citizens.
You know more people are going to pour out into the streets.
And I think the question is like, when do we all just have to pour out into the streets?
When is there a mass nationwide mobilization because of this?
Because you were seeing people get fucking radicalized in real time.
And I'm not just talking about people on the streets.
you were seeing politicians, you know, like, I think, you know, James Tala Rico was tweeting
about this, you know, like Amy Klobuchar, like people who are, we're not chanting, you know,
abolish ICE five years ago on the streets being like, this has to stop this agency is out
of control.
To your point, earlier, John, I mean, these people didn't know the name of this man before they
were calling him a domestic terrorist.
And the Border Patrol Union tweeted out a statement attacking the media, attacking the media for
they're untrained thugs murdering people.
So these are like lawless people acting with impunity.
They are not going to stop unless there's a mass mobilization and a political movement to stop them.
Donald Trump needs to see that there is a massive political cost to this.
So do other Republicans.
And they're just, they're not there yet.
The tone has changed from Trump personally when talking about Renee Good.
But he has not backed this off yet.
Stephen Miller is still running the show and he's going to, wants to kill you and call you a domestic terrorist.
That's how he views the world.
Yeah, I get a text from a friend when this unfolded who's just like, why aren't,
why isn't every Democrat official on the ground in Minnesota right now, on the ground in Portland,
trying to like stand up when ICE is doing this?
Like everyone in the party right now who's an elected official should be out there.
So we have a response from Donald Trump, a truth.
I have not read it yet, so we can both react at the same time.
he posts a picture of the gun that DHS had taken a picture of the gun that was on the man
allegedly DHS then leaked this to their favorite propagandist at Fox,
who does all their immigration propaganda for them.
And so Trump posted the picture of the gun,
which is just sitting on a seat in a car.
This is the gunman's gun loaded with two additional full magazines and ready to go.
What is that all about?
Where are the local police?
Why weren't they allowed to protect ICE officers?
The mayor and the government called them off.
It is stated that many of these police were not allowed to do their job that ICE had to protect themselves.
Not an easy thing to do.
Why does Ilhan Omar have $34 million in her account?
And where are the tens of billions of dollars that have been stolen from the once great state of Minnesota?
We are there because of massive fraud with billions of dollars missing and illegal criminals.
Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
We want the money back.
We want it now.
Those fraudsters who stole the money are going to jail where they belong.
This is insane.
Much of what you're witnessing is a cover up for this.
theft and fraud. The mayor and the governor are inciting insurrection. With their pompous
dangerous rhetoric, they should be looking for the billions of dollars. So he's making it all about
fraud. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Unfucking believable. Again, this is just a pretext
for this massive ICE invasion of Minnesota. They want to pretend this is somehow about the Minneapolis
fraud allegations around daycares and stuff. Ice and CBP don't investigate those things. Send in the
FBI. They're the professionals. They do the law enforcement work. They should lock up
the people who stole money
from the state of Minnesota. They have.
They were charged years ago.
Right. And they will continue to charge them.
But what Trump is doing is using that as a pretext
to send ICE and CBP
into this community to terrorize it,
to terrorize it. And at least right now,
it doesn't look like he's backing down.
He needs to see a political cost of this
because he just doesn't care. He does not care
if you are executed by ICE or CBP
if he views you as a political enemy. And that's just the reality
we're living. We're living in Putin's Russia right now. And one last thing on the response is just
in Dan and I talked about this a little bit on Friday's pod, but there's a funding bill for DHS that
if it doesn't get passed by next Friday, the government will shut down or at least the partial
shutdown for DHS. And it did pass the House with seven Democrats in the House voting for it
and all the Republicans. And now it goes to the Senate. And I don't think a single person in the
Senate, especially Democrats should absolutely not vote for this bill. And again, you don't vote for it
and DHS shuts down. It's not going to stop ICE. It's not going to stop Border Patrol. They have
enough money to keep doing this. But I think shutting the government down or shutting DHS down and then
having the administration have to defend that and talk about it. Like we have to bring, as you just
said, national attention to this and get people out into the streets. And this is an all hands on deck.
People should be resisting at all. This is as much as they can, however they can peacefully. And the
Democrats in the Senate should absolutely not vote for the DHS bill. I agree. I look I was skeptical
during the last government shutdown before it happened. I was very skeptical about our ability to
raise the salience of the expiration of these health care subsidies as as the focus of the argument.
I was totally wrong. Democrats did a great job. They hung tight for a long time, longer than I ever
expected. They absolutely raise the salience of the expiration of these ACA tax credits. And so I agree
with you again. Like, it is a, it is a moment for something big, um, to send a signal and to force a
conversation about what is actually happening in our streets because I mean, this is horrifying.
They're going to come for your community next. Um, you know, and like, you know, Trump's tweeting
out a photo of a gun. Like, I'm sorry, sir. You're the one who is for the absolute right to bear arms.
Like if it's up to you and your coalition, people can have bazookas, you know, strapped to their
chest outside events as long as they're Republicans, right? Like, let's not pretend for one second.
that that's the issue here.
If it were up to me, I'd get all the guns off the street, right?
Like, this is about these masked thugs coming to our communities and brutalizing people
and executing them and it has to stop and we all have to stand up to this shit right now.
All right, well, that's a good place to leave it for now.
