Today we're going to start by talking about two topics that are near and dear to Brian's heart. Only fans and influencers and politics, I guess, three topics. The third one, not so much, but go on. Brian, first question, how much do you clear every month with your femme boy feat account? Well, let's just say it's enough to give this guy the life that he needs. Send that puppy to college. We all know, Brian's a hentai guy. We are going to try to cover this topic in a non-creepy way. This is actually an interesting story about politics, the attention economy, and the places it might go. Will Summer at the Bullwark covered this well in a recent piece titled Right Wing Media and Only Fans in a Symbiotic relationship. The conversation started earlier this week when a right-wing influencer named Lauren Witzki tweeted this video. Let's watch. She is the opposite of everything that we stand for in this country and she literally married her brother. We do not marry our brothers here.

We don't marry siblings here. We do not do that. All right. That's an influencer named Savannah Cannon. We cut that down a bunch, but I'm sure folks noticed in that eight-second clip, the unique way she is sitting. It's, we'll refer to it as a pelvis-centric pose. That is by design. Is it?

That wasn't a mistake. Yeah. Well, nearly all of her videos are framed up like that. A little different than your stuff, Brian. Well, not much. Maybe not the new stuff. Yeah, maybe stuff. She said, quote, my videos are for straight men, so this is by design.

Yeah. And the goal isn't really to advance a political agenda. It's to create content that promotes her only fans page. So again, back to the original tweet that promoted this, Lauren Wittske, this right-wing influencer. She's not a fan. She wrote the following, quote, five years ago, we had brilliant conservative female thought leaders like Michelle Malkin blowing the lid open on mass migration and pissing off CPAC donors so badly

that she was never invited back. Now conservative female talking heads are just a bunch of shallow, disgusting skanks, spewing, low IQ takes about Muslims disgusting. I couldn't agree more that that's a low IQ take. Yet it's a gross thing about Ilan Omar, so we didn't play it. But when I saw this video, Brian, I did think to myself, this feels like kind of the natural end state of the attention economy. Yeah.

I mean, it's just there's not even any subtlety about what's being done. Like there was a moment where, and the Biden campaign actually used this a little bit, employed this strategy a little bit, where they would have the message on one side of the screen, and then that subway. I'm too old to know what it's actually called, but the subway jumper. Yeah, yeah. It's like a game where you're like running.

Yeah, it's just like running and getting coins and like jumping on subway cars. But it's just enough to keep you occupied. There's also those videos of people cutting things. It's just, you know, attention-grabbing stuff. And that was half of the screen. But now I think they've figured out the newest iteration of that, which is that we're not even going to bother separating

the content itself from the thing that grabs people's attention. So we'll have the person sitting there with her leg spread because that's what's going to get people to stop in their tracks when they're scrolling. And so it's just, I mean, on one hand, it is, it's like an obvious natural progression of things. But on the other hand, I mean, it really is like, it really is the lowest form, like the basest form of just getting your words into people's ears. Yeah.

And I don't, to your point, I don't know. what the next iteration of this is going to be other than just not even clothed. In 2035, it's just like Tucker Carlson fully nude doing a broadcast. If I'm not mistaken, Tucker Carlson's already done that as some iteration of that. Wasn't he trying to tan his

Pyroformis? No, that's something else. That's a muscle in your butt. Yeah, I know what you're talking. Perimus, something. There's two guys who are comedians who try to sun their butt holes all the time. I have this image of Tucker Carlson anyway, moving on. I know what you're talking about. By the way, if you want

Just like legs up. So, you know, Will's piece was great on this. I mean, he talks about how Savannah Cannon there, the influencer we saw in the video. Like she seems like she could be a TPUSA employee. She's like wearing like kind of Charlie Kirk style like Freedom shirts. 80% of her poses are in that format with the legs up like that. I guess she started posting gym photos but then pivoted to political stuff and did like exponentially better.

So it just shows where the market is. He also mentioned that there's a bunch of super right wing shows that have already been doing this. There's like a bunch of Manosphere podcasts that are the conservative hosts who each week just surround themselves with different only fans models. And that's the conversation. And he also talked about how James Fishback, who's this super right-wing guy running for governor in Florida, actually broke through in his campaign by proposing a 50% tax on only fans income. Yeah, which is weird because it's like contradicting itself within its own ecosystem. You have some people that are ultra puritanical about this stuff. And then you have the other side, the flip side of that coin,

which is that there are right-wing groups and right-wing mouthpieces that are expressly using that format to perpetuate the message. So, I mean, it's a pretty wide ecosystem on that side of things. And the misogyny is like inherent in a lot of these Manosphere shows. Yeah, 100%. And I think if you look at, for example, Andrew Wilson, which is this pretty prolific and disgusting right-wing commentator, he hosts, I think it's called the Whatever podcast where you just surround himself with girls and just spews misogyny. But I think the point is that, I mean, it's rage baiting, right? Like that's all it is at this point.

It is like bargain basement rage bait because he knows whether you agree with it or whether you don't that it's going to elicit some type of reaction. And so people stop and they comment. And it really is the worst part of the Internet. Like it's what pushes out any decent, rational, reasonable, logical commentary because it makes way for this stuff that is only going to be extreme. If you agree with it, then you're going to. engage with it because you agree with it. If you don't agree with it, people stupidly engage with it

and amplify that stuff on all of our feeds as well. And so there comes a point where when you see the digital media ecosystem becoming more and more toxic, it is the direct result of the fact that all of the algorithms favor this kind of stuff and push out anything that isn't half-naked, spewing misogyny, anti-Semitism, Islamophobic content, you name it. That's the stuff that's going to be that's going to rise to the top. RIP Vox Explaner videos on like the Syria complex. But you know what? Like there are some success stories within there.

More perfect union does a great job. And they have, you're kidding. People are doing great job. But you're right. It becomes increasingly difficult for sure. There used to be zero of this stuff. And now there's a lot of this stuff. I mean, what I find so funny about it.

There used to be zero of this and all Vox Explaners. And now there's like maybe one Voxxx explainer, but a lot of half-naked people online. What I do love about this, Brian, is seeing the freak out in the conservative world. because you're seeing like some of the biggest right-wing grifters attack this woman for being a grifter. And like the Lauren Witsky, the person who tweeted about the video in the first place and kind of kicked off this conversation. I was looking into her bio. She is, she said the COVID vaccine was a satanic plot to cause mass death. She dabbled in QAnon and she describes herself as a flat earther.

And then she's like, how dare this girl off her political takes? I had the same kind of interaction with Jack Pesibic on Pierce-Morgan show where if I'm not mistaken, He was condemning Candace Owens' actions within the right way media ecosystem. And I was with Wahad Ali. And both of us were like, you perpetuated the Pizza Gate conspiracy theory. And he was like, no, I didn't give me proof. And so then looked up proof because we're on our computers and gave him his own words. And then a bunch of people came online afterwards and said, here's what Jack was saying when he

went to Comet Pizza. And like all of these people have zero self. Like you, if these people had any less self-awareness, they would not be able to see the reflections in a mirror. And yet they feel completely emboldened to attack other people in the right wing ecosystem who are doing the same fucking thing as them but the other side of the coin. Yeah, they're just doing it a little different, better, edgier. And all of a sudden, they're taking their shine away. Yeah, no, Jack Pesobicoe.

I don't even know how you say. He was one of the people I think who's at the White House was given one of the binders full of like the Epstein files by Pam Bondi and then was humiliated. Brian, I wanted to show you a clip of another popular young only fans political influencer and creator. Let's watch. Iran doesn't control the straight. I control the straight. And quite frankly, we have to prevent them from getting a nuclear weapon, which we did last year, totally obliterated it. But it's like an annual subscription of some sort.

They're begging for a deal. Even though they bombed our bases last night. Take my money. Pretty good, huh? How much is the subscription of that one? So just to clarify, that was an AI edit of Donald Trump in the same pose. You know what? He's such a fucking grifter that we're probably six months.

from some iteration. He was probably trying to get paid off that. That was made by a podcaster named Kyle Kulinski. Very funny. Conservative podcaster, Stephen Crowder said, this is the sex appeal nuclear arms race. Again, I think he might be right. And it does make me wonder where we're going to be in a couple of years of this stuff. We'll find out.

Do you think you could pull off a liberal version or like, it's funny because you'd think you couldn't pull off a right wing version because there's this like puritanical, super Christian, super conservative, trad wife, part of the Republican Party. But obviously, they, this woman, Savannah Cannon, found an audience in Mago World because there's a bunch of dudes who want this kind of content. But like, is there a liberal version of this? Look, there is nothing, none of these coalitions, none of these political sides are monolithic. And there's always, always going to be people who want to stare at other people's crotches. Like, I don't think that one side has a monopoly on like wanting to look at naked people or porn or whatever it is.

So I think, yeah, I mean, could a liberal version work? I guess what I mean is like who would, who would, which side's going to scold the most? Normally, I think it's us. But in this case, you would think it would be them? Yeah. I mean, look, I think, I think, uh, I think it probably would be us. I think that you like to think that it would, that it would be us on one hand because you have some standards. But at the same time, like, no, I think that that's probably, I think that's probably where the direction is pointing on all of this stuff.

So, uh, so why don't you, why don't you get it started? I'm ready to go. Part of what makes this political moment so weird and uncertain is that we're watching. traditional political media have their influence wane and that power is getting distributed to independent voices. Like our shows are sort of examples of this, small examples of this. But then there's this explosion of podcasters and streamers with massive audiences that a lot of people watching have probably never even heard of, let alone consume their content.

Some of them are great. Some of them are truly horrible people. One example of the latter is a guy named Sneco. Sneco is this noxious right-wing troll. He thinks it's funny to like dabble. in Nazism. He's one of those dudes, remember in Miami, a couple weeks back, saying Heil Hitler at that club. That was a long windup, just so I could play you this clip of Sneco from the other night. This is his stream, I believe. He's on Omega, which is like chat roulette.

Yeah. Not a whole lot. Why? You don't like Trump? Not too much, no. Oh, okay. Your room's kind of messy. You got a lot of stuff in there. It's not messy, and there's not a lot of stuff. You're wrong. You need to get your vision checked. I can see pretty well. You're out of it. You got to get your phone. brain check for psychological disease or something. It's a fucking cardboard box. Why are you excited over cardboard box?

Do you want to fuck it or something? You stupid shit, you dumb, man. Get a lost ass. Get him on here. Get that guy's show, right? I'd rather watch that than the legged up thing. Yeah. You know what?

Like, the more I watch this stuff, the more, like, maybe this was all a mistake. Yeah. Maybe. Yeah. That's like, we should go back to three networks. Yeah. At first, you know, like, my whole life was dedicated to, like, embracing independent media. And I'm like, you know, this almost feels like, remember the free Britney movement where everyone was like,

Britney Spears needs to be freed from her conservatorship? And we all saw a video. And then she was freed. And we watched her juggling knives. And you're like, you know what? It was like here, I'm actually going to, I'm going to be the one to screw over all of these people that I'm pretending in the first part of this ad. I'm actually helping. Just for context for everybody out there, I took a look at gold futures for the year. So a year to date, gold is down 3.65 percent. Silver is down 16 percent year to date. The S&P is up eight and a half.

So I don't take Mr. Gates' advice. So don't put your entire savings in gold and silver right now, please. Yeah, I think that's advice to live by. Maybe a little. Don't take Matt Gates's advice is advice to live by. On anything. Almost our attorney general. Remember that?

Yeah. Well, at least we lucked out with Pam Bondi and then Todd Blanche. Yeah, it's going great. Yeah. So you know, Todd Blanche sort of nomination is still sort of up in the air. We're still waiting to see what happens with that one. Yeah. As of right now, I mean, it doesn't look like this thing is going to get touched until after the

August recess. Shockingly, Tom Tillis and John Cornyn have held firm for the moment. Look, nobody's ever lost money betting on the cowardice of today's Republican Party. So no one, you know, I don't think that we should hold out for Tillis and Cornyn to be heroes. But at least for the moment, it looks like they're serious about not moving forward with this nomination until we get some confirmation in writing that the $1.8 billion slush fund isn't moving forward. The fact that they weren't willing to give that, even after Todd Blanche said in his confirmation hearing that it's dead, but he won't offer it in writing, gives the whole game away. It's that they have

Listeners probably know that he's been in the hospital since I think June 14th. There were reports that he might have gone into cardiac arrest. He was taken away at an ambulance. His office has released like zero information for weeks. They have now released two photos of McConnell. We're going to put those up on screen because they look, what's weird is they look like nearly identical to each other. Yeah. Well, AI will do that. Well, I shouldn't say that. I'll caveat that by saying, I don't know if it's AI. And I mean, that's a big conversation that's happening kind of in the zeitgeist, but I think that's on purpose, that we don't have any confirmation because Mitch McConnell

is only offering up these gauzy photos from the hospital. Look, look, I realize it's the same people, but the facial expressions, the poses are the same, the smile, the sort of vacant look. Yeah. He looks like he's being propped up by Elaine Chow, his wife. He's dressed not in any hospital garb, but in full civilian clothing. Right. The whole thing is certainly a little bit weird.

I actually interviewed Kentucky Governor Andy Bashir just yesterday and asked him about this. And he actually brought up two really important points. On one side, he's calling for Mitch McConnell to either come out and do a video address for three minutes. He said to me, if Mitch McConnell can supposedly speak to Scott. Jennings for 17 minutes, he can issue a video for three minutes. Any moving images would be great. Totally. Moving pictures.

Maybe just a live feature on your iPhone? Yeah. And or talk to Fox News, but if he can't do that, then he should resign. But the second side of that, and I'm curious what your take is on this, because I think it's actually a valid argument is, you know, Kentucky hasn't nominated or elected, rather, a Democrat to the Senate since 1992. So more than 30 years at this point. right now Mitch McConnell is not voting on anything.

He's not voting on the Iran war. He's not voting on Trump's slush fund. He's not voting on the Save America Act. Any of these Republican priorities, you could make the argument that if and when Republicans do hold a special election, it's highly unlikely that Democrats are going to flip a seat in a state that Trump won by 30 some odd points. And so this might be a good scenario where at least between now and January, because Mitch McConnell is not coming back to the Senate,

that's one fewer vote that the Republicans have. And so I get the gross nature of McConnell, even in his last move, probably on earth, is going to be manipulating the system for partisan advantage. But I don't know that this is necessarily disadvantageous. Both hold weight. I'm sort of there politically. I think it's just weird. It just leads to all these questions.

Like, I have a bunch of questions. What happened? Why did he fall? what is he getting treatment for? When will it be completed? What do the doctors say? Why won't you release a video? I mean, I saw Governor Bashir said, quote,

I've gotten two calls from different agencies, not state agencies, suggesting he'd passed. How does the governor of your state not know if you're dead? Like, if I'm Bashir, I'm going to fly to D.C. I'm going to go to the hospital. I'm going to buy some flowers, and I'm going to knock on that fucking door and see if I can get in there.

It's crazy. I mean, look, McConnell's probably just trolling him, right? I mean, the theory I keep hearing is they don't want a special election. if you could wait to what is it, August 4th? August 3rd, then there won't be a special election. I think Republicans in Kentucky might be worried that Thomas Massey might run for that Senate seat and kind of muck around for a few months and to cause problems. Or even if a Democrat runs, then it's a special election.

Everybody's attention is on that one state and we can pour money into it, money that should have gone to other states and other races. Yeah. So we'll see. But it's like, look, it's just not a good way to run a railroad. Like our U.S. senators should be accountable. You should have to tell people.

if you're sick, if you're well, if you're incapacitated. It's weird to me also that, like, Lindsay Graham passed away and we're just handing the seat to his relative. Like, I know there's some precedent there, but it's strange. I also think that it is bizarre for us to have to explain this to a party whose entire identity was predicated on defending the sanctity of cognitive function in government. I mean, they went on and on and on for years about Joe Biden's cognitive health. and now you've got somebody who may or may not be brain dead, and it's just crickets from these people. I know. And it's like, I realize that, like, a senator is different than the president. But still, there's only a hundred senators. A hundred senators. And, like, Joe Biden was operating in office. He was there every day. He was on TV. He wasn't doing the best job.

It wasn't great on TV. Admittedly. Wasn't even good. But, like, he's not. But we knew he was alive. Yeah, it was nuts. It was nuts. One funny thing on this, Brian. So the San Francisco 49ers coach, Kyle Shanahan, was in a bad car accident. That's not the funny part. But he had a bunch of injuries like broken ribs got a concussion and he hasn't been able to participate in their training camp somehow this accident was kept secret for like two weeks which made people start to compare what happened to kyle shenan to mitch mccanell which led to this amazing TV moment let's watch worry about niners coach Kyle shan yesterday he made his first public comments since a car crash two weeks ago that left him in some really bad shape all right that's great that's great that's uh WGN Chicago, accidentally putting up an AI photo of Kyle Shannon with Elaine Chow, Mitch McConnell's wife in the hospital.

But you know, like, it really, it's so, it's so fitting, it's so both annoying and fitting that the precedent here that's being, that's being set, is the exact precedent that's always set with Mitch McConnell, which is that this is somebody who will complain about something when it's the other party, but now he's committing it so egregiously that it becomes a punchline for everything else. And there's no acknowledgement of that dichotomy on the other side. All right, Brian, I saved the worst topic for last. This is courtesy for our friend. Elon Musk. Elon Musk, so says the New York Times, wants to spend at least $100 million on the midterm elections. So he went from King of Doge to saying Trump is in the Epstein files and quitting enough to saying, I'm going to start a third party and now he's going to kick in. Of course he is because all of the regulators are gutted.

He's a trillionaire. and he's derived every financial advantage in the world from aligning himself with a political party where all it takes is money and you get anything you want. Former trillionaire. SpaceX is way down. Oh, shit.

Yeah. He's okay. I mean, he's so worth like $900 billion. $900 billion. $900 billion. So, yeah, he said, apparently he's authorized his Super PAC to spend between $100 to $120 million

on field programs in eight states. So that's good added on top of the massive fundraising advantage Republicans have just to quickly tick through it. So Republicans have $380 million in their two main super PACs that do House and Senate races. We have, Democrats have 193 million, so we're losing there. The RNC has 125 million in the bank. The DNC has negative 3 million or 2 million in the bank. Trump's Super PAC has $382 million just sitting there. Yeah. Not clear he's ever going to spend it on anything but himself. But Musk apparently wants to target

the Senate races in Alaska, Iowa, Maine, Michigan, and Ohio and maybe North Carolina, Georgia, and Texas. and then House races in California, Wisconsin, and Washington. So great. So here's my thoughts on this. This is not to negate the importance of this absolute avalanche of money that's getting poured in from these Republican figures. But right now the Republicans have that money and Democrats don't have the money that we don't have. And yet Trump's approval rating is still at a record low of like 33, 34 percent in the special election. and off-year elections across the country.

Democrats are still overperforming by 10, 11, 12, 13 points among Latino communities. It's 30 or 40-point overperformance. So, like, we are in this situation where they have all of this money. And there comes a point where you're going to get diminishing marginal returns. Totally. And, like, you're not going to be able to overcome, no matter how many commercials you have saying the Democrats are, you know, are doing whatever it is the Republicans are saying the Democrats are doing,

you're not going to be able to negate the impact that higher utility costs, with Republicans in control is having, higher grocery costs with Republicans in control are having gutted health care, gutted food assistance, higher gas costs, the fact that we have another war in the Middle East, the fact that the Epstein files aren't released. All the money in the world is not going to be able to overcome the fact that these are issues that people contend with on a daily basis. This is a lesson that we learned the hard way in the lead up to 2024, and we had a lot of money. We had more money in 2016. We had more money in 2020. Yeah, look, it's not good. It's a quite a, the other part that sucks about this is it comes on the heels of

Supreme Court decision that basically means super PACs and party committees can do more direct coordination with campaigns. NRC versus FEC. Yeah. They based, long story short, they just get way cheaper ad rates. It used to be the case that candidates got the best possible ad rate and super PACs would come in and buy ads at the end of a campaign and have to spend like 10 times what it would cost you if you were the campaign itself for like a 30 second spot.

This Supreme Court case basically negates that and flattens it out for everybody. So that just means that like the big R&C dollars will go a lot further. I agree with you. Look, if the war in Iran is so raging and gas prices are over $4 and inflation is not under control, like Trump is in big trouble, Republicans are in big trouble. But it's like, you know, you have a random house race where you're getting out spent 10 to 1. Like that could be tough. Yeah, for sure.

Obviously the DNC and the RNC, that disparity is pretty bad. But like we have some of these individual candidates who are raising ungodly sums of money. James Telerico, I'm looking here. raised over $70 million since launching a Senate bid. Meanwhile, you have John Ossoff, who I think raised in the ballpark of $81 million. And so these guys have a lot of money. And his opponent is flailing. Collins is flailing.

Totally. But I think that also the onus is on them. The responsibility falls onto them to help lift up some of these down-ballot candidates in their states. I mean, talking about Texas, Betto O'Rourke did an excellent job at doing that. And even though he lost to Ted Cruz in 2018, he was able to bring a ton of down-ballot candidates across the finish line. A bunch of judges, black female judges had had huge majorities in the court system there because of Beto O'Rourke. And so I think, you know, we're going to see a lot of these other candidates start giving money to down-ballot candidates in their own states.

Hopefully. Hopefully they can run strong. I mean, you're just going to have a situation where you're like Maine, you know, with a brand new candidate, Troy Jackson starting with like nothing. And so it's going to take a while to catch up. So his, his, the amount of money that he's raised already, he's like one of the top raising candidates. on Act Blue. I think even above James Tellerico and John Ossoff right now, if I'm not mistaken, he is the number one raising candidate on Act Blue. Yeah. I mean, that's good.

It's from a cold start is the problem. And, you know, after some disruptions politically up in Maine, look, everyone knows that that is like the marquee pickup opportunity. And we have to win that race. And if we don't, we're screwed. So I hope everyone will put their resources into that race. It's a reminder that I should probably donate there to. But, yeah, or we'll just, you know. Start only fans.
