All right, Brian, we'll get some very worrisome breaking news.
Starting point is 00:00:22 FBI agents executed a search warrant on the Fulton County, Georgia elections hub as part of Trump's ongoing, pathetic, delusional claim that the 2020 election was rigged. And if that wasn't weird and bad enough, for some reason Tulsi Gabbard was there. She is Trump's handpicked Stoge, who works as the Director of National Intelligence. It makes no sense she'd be at an FBI raid. Here's MSNBC's Jen Saki talking with Georgia Senator John Ossoff, breaking down what happened. A judge signed a warrant for this search, which according to the Atlanta Journal-Hunson, included all physical ballots from the 2020 general election in Fulton,
Starting point is 00:00:56 all tabulator tapes from every voting machine, all ballot images during the original count, and all of the voter rolls. Why do you think DOJ is doing this right now? Trump's DOJ is doing this right now? This should have people across the country absolutely shook. This is a huge deal. His conspiracy theories about the 2020 election
Starting point is 00:01:14 have been based in Georgia from the very start. Georgia is where he called the Secretary of State and said, find me the votes that he needed to win in a state he had lost. This is a shot across the bow at the midterm elections. He tried to steal power when he lost it in 2020. We have to be prepared for all kinds of schemes and shenanigans. We have to be prepared for him to try to deprive people of their voting rights.
Starting point is 00:01:45 I'm normally a fan of shenanigans, but actually in this case, I mean, this does feel like kind of the worst case scenario. He's a bad shenan. He's a bad shenanigans. I don't want to be alarmist, but like, Pambandi, Cash Patel. a bunch of Trump lackeys seizing local elections infrastructure, that feels very bad to me. Yeah, so there's two things at play here. One is the question everybody seems to be asking is, why does Trump seem so hell-bent on relitigating the 2020 election?
Starting point is 00:02:08 And the answer is that if he can prove that there was some nefarious activity or fraud in the 2020 election, that gives him some pretext, flimsy and bullshit, though it may be, to be able to carry out some, you know, election subversion schemes moving forward. He's, if he can say, look at, look at all this shit that we just uncovered, now we have to go. We have no, we have no choice but to be able to seize voting machines in 2026 or 2028 because look at all the fraud that went, that went, you know, unresponded to back in 2020. So this may feel like he's just doing it for his ego because he doesn't, you know, he wants to find some roundabout way to to show that he won an election that he very clearly lost. And that might be some small part of it. But, but more importantly, um, and more alarmingly,
Starting point is 00:02:53 This is going to serve as the basis for him to be able to undermine any elections moving forward. In terms of why Tulsi Gabbard was there, I think we might get an answer in a post that Trump elevated on truth social yesterday. So we're going to put that up here on the screen. Maria Zach testified about the stolen 2020 election operation connected to Obama when he diverted $400 million from the infamous pallets of cash sent to Iran, funneling through the Dubai embassy to operatives in Italy and Merrill Lynch in Geneva, Switzerland. In return, Italian officials at Leonardo SPA used military satellites to help hack U.S. voting machines, flipping votes from Trump to Biden using CIA developed tools like hammer and scorecard, along with numerous other methods of fraud and manipulation.
Starting point is 00:03:36 China reportedly coordinated the whole operation, providing the tech backbone and bribes to corrupt Americans. The CIA oversaw it. The FBI covered it up, all to install Biden as a puppet. This is the global election fraud cartel and a real threat against American democracy and the rest of the world. So this is just... I have not seen that. That is crazy. Just like conservative madlib bullshit. That's why... Do you leave out any countries?
Starting point is 00:04:00 No, I mean, like, other than Venezuela and Hugo Chavez, that seems to cover it. But the reason, that's the reason why Tulsi Gabbard is here to give some, again, thin veneer of this being a national security issue. But again, it is just conservative madlibs here. It's just random buzzwords. All of it just looking for any pretext whatsoever to be able to claim election fraud. even if you have to claim that it was some some cabal of iran dubai italy switzerland the CIA the FBI like I mean it's just plausible that that's yeah it's like now that you think about it
Starting point is 00:04:33 I just can't overstate how weird it is that Tulsi Gabbard there I mean we only know about this because this Reuters photographer caught a photo of her making a phone call but she's got like a hat on she's trying to be all low profile I'm Senator Mark Warner the ranking Democrat on the Senate Select Intelligence Committee said this move should scare the hell out of all of us let's watch video from him. We all know the Trump administration's strategy as though as much shit on the wall and see what sticks. Well, the nation was still grieving ISIS rogue's actions in Minneapolis. Yesterday, the Trump administration and a move that should scare the hell out of all of us,
Starting point is 00:05:05 went to seize election materials from the 2020 election that Donald Trump lost in Fulton County, Georgia. What does this mean for the fall? And what should particularly concern us is, guess who showed up at this FBI raid, Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard? Tulsi Gabbard has nothing to do with election security. Tulsi Gabbard has even been in charge of dismantling what was called the Foreign Malign Influence Center to try to make sure foreign countries don't interfere in our elections. This complete Trump loyalist somehow popping up on an FBI raid, what the heck was she doing? We got to stand up and step up against ICE.
Starting point is 00:05:42 We also got to stand up and step up to protect our elections coming this year. Warner also said there's sort of two explanations here. Either Tulsi thinks there was like a legitimate foreign intelligence. nexus or she's just like injecting herself the intelligence community into a domestic political stunt. But if she does actually believe there's an foreign intelligence nexus, she has violated her obligation to inform Congress about this issue, which, you know, I think speaks to the reality, which is that she's, they're making this all up as they go. Right. I mean, you know, you have experience as National Security Council spokesman, when you see something like this happened, where you
Starting point is 00:06:13 have the, the DNI show up at some, what we already know, I mean, it's, you know, we already know that Trump has had his focus on the voting machines and the election infrastructure in Georgia and in Fulton County for years and years and years. Where does your mind go? I mean, it's, it's, she just shouldn't be there. Like, it makes no sense. I mean, this is the FBI. There should be like a law enforcement operation. The DNI should have no role in any of this. It doesn't make any sense. It's only because, look, here's what I think's happening. Remember last year, Tulsi Gabbard in March testified before Congress that Iran had not decided to build a nuclear weapon. A few months later, Trump, is deciding whether to bomb the Iranians.
Starting point is 00:06:53 He gets asked about her assessment. He says, she's wrong. I don't care what she thinks. So then she walks back that assessment so that it matched whatever Trump said, which is how good intelligence work should happen, right? You just make sure it matches what the president said. So it's been clear that she is on the outs with Trump in the inner circle. And this was hammered home to me when Tulsi was posting photos of herself doing yoga on the
Starting point is 00:07:13 beach in Hawaii the day before the Venezuela rate. And then we later learned. That's how you know she was really, really closely involved in all that process. All synced up. So she's been cut out of all that stuff. So she's scrambling to think, all right, how do I get back in the good graces of the president? And it seems like maybe this is the next step. Right.
Starting point is 00:07:30 His pet project. I mean, this really is. This really is the focal point of his entire presidency is to try and prove some fraud so that he can use that as justification to subvert the next election all by pointing back to Georgia or, you know, some of these other, you know, crazy schemes like the one laid out. that I read before Italy, Italy, CIA, FBI. I'm sure listeners have also been following the horrific events in Minnesota where ICE and CBP officers keep murdering American citizens for no reason. So finally, after massive pressure or political pressure, Donald Trump, His course corrected a bit. That includes sending the Greg Bovino packing. He is now the former commander at large of the Border Patrol, but he had had this like kind of outsized role,
Starting point is 00:09:56 both in Chicago and in Minnesota where he was, you know, strutting around. Like he was, he ran the place like a little vice roy. He is now back in sort of his old job in California. On the way out, though, Bovino posted this video, Brian. I don't know if you've seen this yet. Let's watch. Team, behind me are a few individuals there. That's the original turn and burn, the folks that help make America.
Starting point is 00:10:20 But you know what? I'm very proud of what you, the Mean Green Machine, are doing in Minneapolis right now, just like you've done it across the United States over these past tough nine months. And I want you to know that you're the modern day equivalent. Turn and burn. Makes me very proud. I also want you to know that I've got your back now and always. I love you.

Starting point is 00:11:21 I don't know. Have you seen people calling him one-third, right? Okay, turn and burn. Isn't that from Top Gun? That, I don't know. I feel like goose is always telling Navarck. Turn and burn, Navarck. I mean, it does sound like it's,
Starting point is 00:11:34 what he just did right there sounds like it's about 50 years past its prime. The mean, green machine. Is that the best way to describe an organization that's got a big PR problem for murdering Americans? Is that what we're doing? He's standing like,
Starting point is 00:11:46 Like he's the villain in like a 1980s, like an 1980s, like action movie. Well, no great coat on either. It looked cold out there. He didn't have his big kind of fashy-looking general coat. Yeah, well, you know what? Maybe when the entire internet calls you a Nazi, even some people have a limit. Yeah, I was reading this interesting political story about the great coat, as they're called that Bovino was wearing. And like, even if it's not his attempt to kind of look like a German soldier from the 1940s, it does signal to everyone that they have, are militarized.
Starting point is 00:12:16 what is supposed to be a law enforcement component of the United States. Like, it's not a good look, as the kids would say. So one thing about Bovino is I want to guard against this idea that, like, this is the fact that he's out is a huge victory, because the reality is, like... It's incremental. Yes, it's incremental. And Tom Homan, Greg Bovino didn't act like he acted in a vacuum.
Starting point is 00:12:37 He didn't do it, like, on his own volition. He did it because this is what Trump wanted. Like, the fish rocks from the head. He didn't do this because, I mean, he may be as fashy as he's acting right now. I think he's making that abundantly clear. But he's only empowered because that is the kind of person that Trump chose to empower. And so when Tom Homan fills that position, Tom Homan is not going to act differently
Starting point is 00:12:59 because the directive didn't come from Greg Bovino. It came from Trump. And so, you know, I- One third Reich was taking phone calls every day, multiple times a day from Stephen Miller. Correct. There's like more, more, more, more, more. And I think right now, Homan is trying to course-correct, do some better PR for Trump, because Trump was very unhappy with the images.
Starting point is 00:13:16 he saw on TV of, you know, Americans getting killed, et cetera. But, you know, we'll see how much of that translate to actual policy changes. Because as you said, you know, Stephen Miller is still going to be calling and saying, hey, we need 3,000 arrests today. And Holman knows, by the way, what his job is, which is to put a softer face on a harsh policy, knowing full well that there's going to be plenty of legacy media outlets that are going to just, that are going to blindly consume it because that's what they do. And now when, you know, they get told this idea, oh, there's a new, there's a new tone,
Starting point is 00:13:46 and there's a softer CBP or ICE at play, and then they just make that their headlines because that's what a lot of these outlets do. They just serve as megaphones for what the administration is saying or what DHS is saying, and people are going to just blindly defer to what they're being told.
Starting point is 00:14:02 Yeah, Homan's also going to put his soft face into a kava bag full of 50 grand as part of an FBI sting. It's incredible that that happened. This man was caught in an undergrusting way. And he's the step up. It's a better one. This one, we're all like,
Starting point is 00:14:14 You know shit is fucked up in DHS and CBP when you have to take out the quasi-Nazi and put in the guy who only decided to take $50,000 as a bribe in cash. Speaking of bribes, Amazon's $40 million documentary about Melania Trump is premiering this weekend. Like the segue. Thank you. So in addition to spending $40 million to acquire the movie, Brian, Amazon is reportedly spending another $35 million on a global marketing effort. The entire entertainment industry is just dying under our feet. And Melania, Melania gets $40 million for a movie that nobody needed. Nobody asked for it.
Starting point is 00:14:55 All in, it's a $75 million documentary about the 20 days in the life of the about to be first lady before the inauguration. It's the dumbest idea for a fucking movie I've ever heard. So, but right now it doesn't seem like Mr. Bezos is going to make his money back. The movie is currently projected to gross between $1 and $5 million. It's opening weekend. You did some acting. Is opening weekend important for these things? No.
Starting point is 00:15:20 No, no. It definitely doesn't set the tone for the... It's definitely at the high water mark for the entire run of the thing. Who knows? Maybe this will be the next suits and it'll just have a long tale. 20 years from now,
Starting point is 00:15:33 Melania will be the number one movie on Netflix. Do you guys have this show with a queen? Have you seen the images all over Twitter? The theaters and these major cities where every single seat is available? I checked. I checked what it was like. at the Grove in Los Angeles.
Starting point is 00:15:46 And as of yesterday, so 48 hours out, it was like three families coming, just like three little blocks of like two seats, two seats, two seats, but otherwise the theater is completely empty. So where are our seats? Our seats are front row. I got your text message, I know you want to sit front and sit. Last time you made me sit behind you for some reason.
Starting point is 00:16:04 Did you get us one of the screenings where you can buy the... The Melania popcorn. For only 1299, you got a commemorative Melania popcorn bucket. Yeah. That's cool. It's opening in 1,500 theaters. As part of the marketing, they bought ads in NFL playoff games, and they bought out like the sphere in Las Vegas.
Starting point is 00:16:22 I mean, I just hope that as Amazon watches the entertainment industry, weaken and crumble, especially here in Los Angeles, that Bezos feels good about the fact that $75 million is going to a movie that tens of people will enjoy. Yeah, I believe Amazon's doing layoffs now. Correct. At the same time that Melani is. gets more money heaped into the Trump family pockets.
Starting point is 00:16:46 I have a feeling Jeff Bezos could give two shits. This apparently all went down, this drug deal went down to buy this movie right after Jeff Bezos had dinner with Trump at Mar-a-Lago. And it's being directed by a guy named Brett Ratner, who was accused by, I believe, half a dozen women of sexual assault in this conduct, like really, really creepy stuff. And Trump did a screening at the White House, Brian. And for some reason, Apple CEO Tim Cook, attended. I don't know why you would go to a screening for a competitor's film.
Starting point is 00:17:14 but I saw a photo of Tim Cook with Brett Ratner. And some folks online pointed out that one of Ratner's accusers is Olivia Munn, who is currently the star of an Apple TV show. So very cool of him. Very cool. Well, I hear it's the best movie of the year. It is the best movie of the year. Even Tim Cook can see it.
Starting point is 00:17:35 To an accent work. South Africa pulled up from the theater. We're still working on it. We're still workshopping it a little bit. I thought it was good. Harry Enton over at CNN. Did a segment explaining why there may be so little interest in the film. What does Harry Antine have to say?
Starting point is 00:17:50 Historical critics don't really like Melania Trump either. I mean, just take a look. Historians' first later rankings, the bottom three. Dead last, Melania Trump. When you're next to Jane Pierce and Margaret Taylor, those are not particularly good, although we were able to get a colored photo of Melania Trump. I have nothing bad to say about either Margaret Pierce or Jane. Apparently, you disagree with the historians then.
Starting point is 00:18:09 Yeah, I mean, you know, what can you say about them? Not much. Not worse than Margaret Taylor. Melania went on the five on Fox News. Dana Perino's literal question, she said, what's your favorite time of day? verbatim her question. She's like, morning.
Starting point is 00:18:28 Morning. Some of the other screening attendees of the White House, Queen Ronnie of Jordan, Tim Cook. Mike Tyson was there. It was the day Alex Freddie was murdered. This is what they were doing. I'm not doing that accent. Yeah, well, I thought it was a very good accent.
Starting point is 00:18:41 Anyway. Brian and I are going to go to the movies this weekend. Yeah, we're going to head up right now. You know, you guys are getting this content for free, so please subscribe to Potsave America here on YouTube. Please subscribe to Brian Tyler Cohen's channel on YouTube. We're trying to build progressive media empires because you know what?
Starting point is 00:18:55 We don't have that kind of money. We don't have Amazon money. We don't have that. We don't have Jeff Bezos throwing $75 million on us. I can't buy off a president, so what we're trying to do is build a media organization that can push back on the lies and smears and bullshit we're seeing out of the White House.
Starting point is 00:19:07 So please subscribe. It's free.
