Tommy, Dan, Donald Trump has gone from saying he'll release the Epstein files to saying he's allowed to release Epstein's co-conspirator from jail.
Let's listen.
Would you consider a pardon or a commutation for Gieland Maxwell if...
It's something I haven't thought about.
It's really...
I'm allowed to do it, but it's something I have not thought about.
But you wouldn't rule it out there.
Why has the dollar?
Dan Maxwell answered questions for six hours yesterday, sitting down with, uh, with, uh,
Todd Blanche, Donald Trump's personal lawyer turned deputy attorney general.
And according to her lawyer is hoping for, quote, another productive day today.
So they're meeting again today.
Yeah.
I have some questions about this.
Sure.
I mean, the obvious question is, was a pardon mentioned in any way, shape, or form?
Okay.
That stands out there.
It's a fair question to ask.
Second question is, has she been given some sort of immunity to disclose this information?
Right. theoretically, these things could incriminate her if they relate to crimes for which she was not convicted a few years ago.
So have we, has Donald Trump's Department of Justice given immunity to the co-conspirator to the child trafficker who was Donald Trump's pal to the point where which he would write him birthday poems?
You know, it's still early.
It's still, we'll see how today goes.
This woman, she's not just like some.
help, like she was befriending 14-year-old girls grooming them and passing them off to Jeffrey Epstein.
And I think there's some reports that she was harming them herself.
Like the idea that, like, the MAGA movement says they want to take down a cabal of elite sex defenders,
and we've already pivoted to pardoning this woman convicted of heinous, heinous crimes.
It's unbelievable.
Can I give you a couple quotes from our favorite MAGA influencers?
Please.
Charlie Kirk
Maybe she wants immunity
Maybe she wants some sort of protection
I don't know
But it definitely is something
That is worthy of praise
And worthy of our encouragement
What?
And then here's Greg Kelly
On Newsmax
She's in jail right now
For like 40 years or something crazy
And maybe she deserves it
Maybe she doesn't
Again not a very popular thing
But we'll take a look
And then later he did allege
That the crimes were bad
He said yikes, minors
That's what Greg Kelly said
He goes, how do you defend yourself?
But this is in the height of me too.
Does that sound right?
Does that sound...
What?
Maybe it's legal.
Oh, my God.
You know who didn't buy this bullshit?
Alex Jones.
I was watching an interview...
My boy Alex.
Tim Dylan did with Alex Jones,
where Tim Dylan, who's a podcaster and comedian,
who's been pushing hard for this sort of Galane testimony angle,
asked what he thought about it.
And Alex Jones was basically like,
well, she's in jail for like 20 years.
She'll say anything to get leniency.
I don't think we can really trust this.
You've got to release the whole Epstein files.
And yet these fucking...
disgusting, you know, mega bought and sold influencer types are, I guess, on board.
What is the end goal here to just get her to say that Trump was not involved in, quote, unquote,
funny business to use his term?
Probably to give up, like, you know, Bill Clinton or some other people and that's, and then say,
yeah, then say Donald Trump was a hero in all this.
Donald Trump was trying to prevent Jeff Grabsstein from trafficking young girls.
Cool, cool, cool, cool.
So there were a couple other stories last night.
I know if you guys saw on the birthday letter, Trump's birthday letter,
to Jeffrey Epstein in the book, the wonderful secrets from the enigmas, a couple of enigmas.
Trump got a question about that while he was going to the Marine One as well. Let's listen.
Do you maintain you did not write a letter for Jeffrey Epstein's first?
I don't even know what they're talking about. Now, somebody could have written a letter and used
my name, but that's happened a lot. All you have to do is take a look at the dossier, the fake
dossier. Everything's fake with that administration. Everything's fake with the Democrats. Take a look at what
they just found about the dossier. Everything is fake. They're a bunch of sick people.
Are there fake letters to Jeffrey Epstein in the steel dossier? And what administration was involved
in the writing of this letter? The Obama administration? Like, was it us? I think the letters were
1993, maybe? Or was a Clinton administration? Yeah. Jesus Christ.
The New York Times reports, they looked at another message to Jeffrey Epstein from Donald Trump.
It was his book.
He said, to Jeff, you are the greatest, signed Donald.
That was in the art of the comeback.
Wall Street Journal also reported on Bill Clinton's message in the birthday book.
Just read this.
It's reassuring, isn't it, to have lasted as long across all the years of learning and knowing, adventures,
and also to have your childlike curiosity, the drive to make a difference,
the solace of friends.
That's Bill Clinton's message.
Lock him up.
To reprise a chance.
Lock him up for bad writing.
This is the funny thing you hear from Republicans.
You're like, oh, you really want this to come out?
What if it takes down Bill Clinton?
Okay.
If he did something illegal, yes, great.
Yeah.
And if he didn't do something illegal, but it would be do something that would harm his reputation or whatever.
I get the truth out.
I don't care.
You know who's really kind of like gingerly wading into this whole fight is, again, J.D. Vand.
I'm so glad you brought this up.
That was the next on my list.
Do you have this tweet?
You want me to read part from it?
Please do. Please do.
So, J.D. Vance, who again has more free time at work than anyone I know.
He is engaging in an extended Twitter fight with Chris Hayes from MSNBC.
He's asked about the book, and he says, I have no idea if the book exists.
Wall Street Journal won't show it to us.
I have no idea if the letter exists, Wall Street Journal won't show it to us.
What I find absurd is the idea that Donald Trump was writing poems to Epstein,
and I find it equally absurd that a major American paper would attack the president in the United States,
without revealing the basis for the attack.
I'm not even sure what that less sentence means.
But he's not denying the letter exists, nor the book.
This is a fundamental shift because the context here is he called the letter.
He was dead silent about the Epstein thing because he went on Theo Vaughn's podcast like three weeks before the election and said we should release the client list.
He's very, very quiet.
Then the Wall Street Journal letter comes out.
He sees an opportunity to return to his lifelong passion of tweeting, tweeting his love for Donald Trump.
And so he calls it complete an utter bold.
Chris Hayes responds and says, well, here's the book. Is it really complete nutter bullshit? And
this tweet is supposed to convey that, oh, no, I didn't mean the existence of the letter was
complete nutter bullshit. I meant the way in which the Wall Street Journal approached the story
was complete nutter bullshit, which is, I would say, complete nutter bullshit. Yeah, because
there was two stories last night. One was from the Wall Street Journal, and it reported on the
Clinton message, and the others from the New York Times, and they saw the contributor list
for the book. They reviewed that and Donald
Trump's name was on that. And so, Chris
had some good questions. It's like, so okay, so
is the fact that Trump is in the book
fake? Is the Clinton message
also fake? J.D. Vance at the end of that
tweet says, you know, everyone will just move on from
the fact that the Wall Street Journal is acting like a Democratic
super PAC. It's disgraceful.
Would a Democratic Superpack
also make up a fake book with Bill Clinton's message
to a child sex traffic credit? Is that what the Democratic
Super PAC would do? John, just to flag for you,
it's Democrat Super PAC. They refuse to call us
Democratic Party.
Right, right.
Yeah, right.
The classic Wall Street Journal,
classic Rupert Murdoch move to act like priorities,
USA or future forward and just constantly advance the Democratic Party's message.
That's just, that's what they always do.
That's what they always do.
I have a lot of questions also.
I mean, this is beyond probably the scope of this conversation,
but who has the book?
Why are they doling it out?
Good question, Dan.
Jeffrey Epstein's estate has the book.
And we learned this from one of the lawyers,
one of the victims. And then the Times reached out to Epstein's estate and they did acknowledge
having the book. So Rokana the other day and some others were saying we should subpoena the book.
Clearly, J.D. Vance would be in favor of getting the book too. Yeah, you'd think. He just wants
to see the letter. He wants to know if it's real. But it's like, how are they, are they describing
it to people? Like, who has a copy of it, right? It's very curious as to why we haven't, like,
they've seen the letter, but they were not given the permission to
print the letter.
I think what I read someone with the sourcing
for the story was that someone at DOJ
had reviewed the letter and that is
the person that then described it to a bunch of
news outlets. Yes. So both DOJ has
seen this book and the estate
has the book. Seems like it shouldn't be that
hard to get our hands on the book. Let's put it all out.
Does that person go by Dan
B or D. Bonino?
Or cash Pee. Yeah.
Or Pammie.
All right. The
last question Trump got was
he made it he made it quite an offer let's let's listen but he's over there now i don't know exactly
what's happening but i certainly can't talk about partners can you trust can you trust what she's
telling him she's a convicted trafficker who's eager to get out of prison well you know he's a professional
lawyer i think he uh he's been through things like this before but you know you should focus
on clinton you should focus on the president of harvard the former president of harvard you should
focus on some of the hedge fund guys i'll give you
list. These guys lived with Jeffrey Epstein. I sure as hell didn't. Thank you very much.
So Trump has offered to give us a list of people that may be implicated. That's interesting.
Mr. President, if you have a list of men who committed crimes or did awful things to underage
girls, yes, give it to your Department of Justice. You should have done that the last time
you were president. I will give you a list. I assume the list is currently at the Department of
Justice. Yes. I mean, these guys.
has lived with Jeffrey Epstein? Who has lived with Jeffrey Epstein? This is all new information now.
Bill Clinton visited the island 28 times. That's not in any of the public records right now.
In fact, the Clinton office said that they listed all the times that Bill Clinton has been on the
plane with Jeffrey Epstein and been to his office, but they said he's never been to the island.
Apparently Trump thinks he's been to the island. Apparently Larry Summers is going to the island now, too.
Trump is confusing two things. The number of alleged times that Clinton was on Epstein's plane
and the island. There's no evidence he's ever been in the island.
And there would be evidence because the Secret Service travels with Bill Clinton everywhere he goes since he ever since he first met Jeffrey Epstein.
And being on Epstein, it's unclear how many times Epstein was on the plane with Bill Clinton or Bill Clinton, which is borrowing Epstein's plane.
Former presidents often borrow or rent private planes because they no longer have Air Force One.
And so there is not, there's more questions to be answered here, but it's not as Trump is suggesting per se.
I also love that Trump has now said multiple times he leans on.
I've never been to the island.
I've never been to the island.
Which I believe.
Because now, because this is what he wants to hang everything on.
And it's like I didn't, maybe I was at his house.
Maybe I was partying with him.
Maybe I was on his plan.
I was doing all the kinds of other stuff.
But I wasn't in the island.
He even did this before this sort of latest controversy kicked up.
Last year when he was running and people had asked him about Epstein and whether he knew him.
I'd be like, I never been to the island.
Maybe I'll release a document.
I don't know.
It is funny.
There's also some reporting today.
about Tulsi Gabbard accusing Barack Obama of a treasonous conspiracy.
And apparently there's some reporting about how thrilled Trump is.
She's now back in his good graces.
He was mad at her because she released this admittedly insane video from like Hiroshima or Nagasaki
or something that was about nuclear weapons.
It was from her personal account.
It was bizarre and self-promoting.
And everyone's like, is this about Ukraine?
Is this about Iran?
Is this her just being a fucking freak?
Nobody knew.
And he was very mad about that.
But on Tuesday, this according to New York Times, at a White House event with congressional
Republicans that Ms. Gabbard attended, Trump declared.
quote, she's like hotter than everybody.
She's the hottest one in the room right now.
And then it's such a good piece in the New York Times because then it has all these
sources from inside the Justice Department and Pam Bondi was so pissed because she got
no heads up about the Obama thing.
And now everyone at the Justice Department is like, we obviously, they're like, we can't
bring this case.
There's nothing here.
What are we supposed to do?
How are we supposed to put this case together?
There's no evidence.
There's no evidence.
He has immunity. What do you want us to do here?
And Tulsi Cabber just like, fuck you, Pam.
lock him up prosecute him
At one point the time it was like
Yeah and Obama did order the intel agencies
And his national security team to come up with the assessment
By the time he left office
But there's nothing criminal about
There's nothing criminal about asking people to do their job faster
That's pretty much all they got them on
It's fucking clown show
Anyway Mr. Trump, thank you for offering the list
