Alexis, you're in the dating world, and you told us a little while ago it's really easy for you to meet lots of attractive dudes.

But look not everybody's on the dating sites for European rugby hunks like you are Alexis a lot of people just do the normal Apps and they get really frustrated with that experience So let's say you wanted to meet a nice attractive man out out in the world naturally, but you just can't find him. Without getting into the scrum. Is that what it's called in rugby? What do you do? That's where our listener Julia found herself recently. So let's talk to her and find out what she did. Julia, welcome to the show.

Hey, guys. Thanks for having me. Hey. I mean, we've kind of noticed a trend lately where people have gotten off the apps is it something where you're trying to move away from that I mean definitely because it's kind of like it just doesn't feel as natural and honestly I feel like the apps come with a lot of like stigma of like what dating is nowadays um which is people just you know have one thing in mind and then it's kind of like just on to the next one. And I'm not really here for that. I really want to authentically meet people and find my person.

Yeah, it's gone for a while, but eventually. Why'd you say you, Jeff? It's just instinct. Sorry. It just sounds like you just matured, and now you've got one in your race. No, that's great. You're terrible. That's great. We're all really happy for you.

Oh, my God. So what did you do? How did you make that transition from dating apps to the real world? Like, what's your strategy? Don't throw up in your mouth. I'm trying not to. I need to get the trash can over here. Well, I mean, I just tried to really kind of go on some, like, hobby websites and stuff like that.

Because I try to, like, put myself out there in those ways and finding things that maybe like guys would be at okay so I went a little bit out of my comfort zone I'm gonna warn you guys I definitely tried some different things okay like what give us some examples I'd love to hear yeah so the first thing I did was hiking and I you know I really thought that I would find more guys there out of the two two times I went, it was more like a dozen girls and maybe like two or three guys. It's like all of the women all had the same idea to meet a guy there

and it just was girls. Women just don't want to hike alone. Guys will go on their own. Yeah. And those guys also came with girls. They already were paired up. Oh, I see. They were forced to come. That makes sense. So hiking was a dud what did you try anything else yeah um so this was kind of funny i actually was like you know i don't think i would probably see many women

at dungeons and dragons that was definitely out of my comfort zone i mean any girl walking into a d&D. That's a stereotype. I don't necessarily think Dungeons & Dragons and go, ooh, hot, hunky guy. See, I think rich guy. Oh, okay. Well, all right. So that's a good substitute. They're like nerds, man.

Nerds always end up being rich and powerful. They're super smart. Did you meet a guy there? It was definitely a little too nerdy for me. I could not really withstand it. I didn't stay the whole time, guys. Okay. So that's not where you met this guy.

Did you find any hobby that actually panned out for you? So there was actually this kind of fun thing that I started going to, and it's called, like, hold cupcake ball. I don't know if you guys are familiar with it. Hold cup? Yeah, so you have two teams, and everybody has to hold a red solo cup and you're never allowed to put it down it's a drinking game oh it's a drinking game while playing actual kickball yeah it's actually really fun dude that sounds awesome why didn't you start

with this one why'd you do that right okay and you don't have to be like obliterated to play you know you just play. And there was a good mix of guys and girls. So I was like a lot more comfortable and it was super laid back. Everybody was really cool. That's great. So this is where you ended up meeting a guy then? Yes.

I went to go run for home, and the cup that I had, it was full because I really wasn't drinking that much. It ended up spilling all over me, guys. Oh. Oh, no. Just what all the guys on the team wanted. I wore a white t-shirt. I didn't mean to.

Yeah, this game, it was definitely invented by a man. Yeah. Yeah. So, okay. How did that lead to Chad? Yeah, what happened? So, he ended up coming out with a towel. Oh, nice. And he was super sweet, guys. He, like, even took off his shirt, which, mind you, is super hot bod. Oh. Took off his shirt, and he gave it to me so I could cover up because my shirt was strung. Ew, why do I feel like it's sweaty? Oh, he's been blocked. He's awful. Alexis, nobody's working that hard at kickball.

Guys sweat no matter what. Yeah, seriously. I'm sweating right now. I guess he must have, like, a good immune system or, like, our systems like each other because I didn't even notice. Okay. So he de-robed in front of you and gave you his dirty clothes. Yeah. That was definitely a swift move.

He got some brownie points for that. All right. So is this the date or is there more after this? No. Well, see, I actually got his number, which was that. Okay. Alright. Isn't it kind of obvious when you ask for a dude's number that that's what you want to happen? And then like I literally asked for his t-shirt and I was like, oh, good way is like if I can return

it, that'll be like another thing. Oh, so that's how you ask. You ask like, oh, give me your number so I can give you your shirt back. Did you give him your shirt to wear too? It's a great name involves drinking kicking rubber balls all the ingredients of just a really really good time forgot to mention shirtless men yeah they're not supposed to shirtless was because Julia accidentally spilled her cup all over herself while running home to the home plate. Sorry, I'm not running home in fear.

No, we got that. Just making sure people, because you've never heard this before. Just keep going, Jeff. She's like crying, like, I'm running home. She was making her way down the third baseline, ended up spilling the drink all over herself and so Chad came to the rescue and offered her his own shirt off his back. Wow, Chad. Just a true hero.

It sounds like honestly a nice guy. Well, and Julia got his number saying like, hey, I'll give you your shirt back. Give me your number. Do you still have the shirt? We never asked. Yeah, actually, I do still have the shirt. I never got to meet up with him again. Oh, you sleep with it every night?

Or is he just smelling it? He's clutched in her arms right now. Well, let's see if we can at least get him on the phone first, and maybe we'll get his shirt back to him and even get you a date. Yeah, hang out. To be honest, I've kind of tried to date, and I don't know. It doesn't really work out for me. Dating in general?

Who wants to make it his full-time gig, nonetheless. Why do I feel like maybe this is me being judgy? But he's got to be the only really hot one. There can't be multiple really hot, naked ghost hunters. One's got a gut. Alexis and I like to think optimistically and it's like a whole team of soccer players.

They're all just hot Cristiano Ronaldo. I actually do hope that he gets a show though. It's really like Brooke described, naked and afraid meets ghost hunting. Yeah. All the girls watch. Yeah, and you're also scared. Yeah. All the ghosts actually come out.
