And it didn't seem controlling from like his end, but like some. somehow I knew that like being with this guy I wasn't going to be able to like actually like achieve my goal like I just knew I like you would want to like exactly he'd want to wife me up want me to have kids and like I'm like yeah long term that's cool but like right away not really right and so I decided to leave that relationship and I'm not going to lie in the beginning it was like really hard because like like damn i had everything i could have it all back to work i'm going to figure it myself exactly i could have like literally been taking care of um but thankfully you know i i i do feel that i made the right decision i mean i was able to create my career and uh shout out um my career

was also in journalism and so that's why that's why i had to move um to get my start but yeah i I had to, like, leave the relationship to know that, like, I didn't want to wonder that what if. I think that's the main point, like, the what if, like, what if I had stayed in the relationship and not really been able to achieve everything that I wanted, right? And having left, I got my answer. Like, I was able to do everything on my own. I do have my own career. I do make my own money.

I don't have a partner right now. Yeah. And so I've been able to do that. And I think, yeah, there's a sacrifice on both sides for everything. Stayed locked in.

You know, I mean, not that you couldn't reach a goal, being married or nothing like that. You can, you can find a partner that's willing to do that and still take care of you. Where? I decided from the very beginning that I was, even when I was, you know, making $7, $8 an hour, I was like, I'm going to take care of you. It wasn't a, to me, it was never a financial thing. It was just more like, as a man, I wanted to provide. Okay, okay, so what did she have said? Is he controlling me? Because your girl is a singer. She's a beautiful singing voice. She's like, I had to give my career to be.

And then there's other ones that are like, hey, I really want this career, you know. I honestly don't see myself having time for that.

And then there's some that are like, hey, I want to just like have both. I want to have the family. I want to have the career. There's all these different types of people and places and things. And so that is kind of where she's at right now. I'm trying to figure it all out. And I love that we're giving insight that there's people that have been through it.
