And yeah, subscribe so you don't miss any roundbag mornings.
This is Be Real from Cypress Hill.
Where are you from, Esed?
Don't you know I'm local?
All right, who's here?
Oh, I'm in the room.
Oh, man, I'm in the room with the underage.
You're not underageers.
You're just younger than me.
I don't know who's going to answer this.
Maybe Vic on a dare.
Angie, you prior like, no, no, I don't know.
see.
Yes.
Great, you might have used one in jail.
Anyone ever use a pay phone?
Yes.
Oh, yeah.
Really?
Yeah.
Yeah.
See, I know one of you was going to be like, what the hell?
You boomer?
What was the last time you used a pay phone?
And where was it?
What cross streets?
I was probably like 14, 15.
Like, I don't know.
It was just like if you were outside, like, and you had quarters in your pocket, you know what I'm saying?
You would just go waste your money on the pay phones like that?
Yeah.
You could crank call.
You could crank call your homies.
Crank calling your homies.
They'd do a different.
Downy. I would do the
witchma call where you had the other person pay
when they... Collect call? Yeah, collect call.
You monster. Yeah.
I was broke.
Andrew, what about you?
Honestly, like, I just saw it pay for maybe
three weeks ago, but I didn't actually call anybody.
I just, like, I was playing with it to see if it's at working.
Nice.
I think it was dirty.
What was it?
You're somebody.
Oh, wow.
Pacific male, too.
Nice.
Yeah, I was told to never touch them, never be around one.
What?
Discussing the touch.
Yeah, your parents raised you right.
Yeah, just don't even try it.
Just use somebody else's phone instead if you're in an emergency.
Well, for those of us who still remember pay phones, it might be a shock to you that there are plenty around town.
Like, and you just mentioned one in Yosemite, granted, you don't have to go that far.
But you can find them at places like hospitals, courthouses, county buildings, parks, and even beaches.
I'm saying this because there has been a new request to upkeep these pay phones about $953,000,000.
Yeah.
$953.
A little bit less than a million.
My brain's not working.
It's back to school to my kids.
9-100,000.
It's a lot.
Anyway, yes, that much money to continue operating and maintaining the 241 pay phones that are still used by county employees and members of the public.
When I saw this story, I was like, dang, I didn't even know they existed anymore.
Yeah.
Because they took a bunch down.
They did.
The pay phones and the call boxes on the freeway.
Of course, because of cell phone service and everyone has it, you, before only the cool people had car phones.
And I don't even know how those works in the 90s.
But yes, they're still around just if why.
That's kind of a waste of money.
It's almost a million dollars.
Like, for what?
People don't even have quarters anymore.
So what is it going to do?
Well, see, I didn't.
I just tell you it's like at courthouses for people that really need to make those
freaking phone calls.
It's for the guy to be like, am I, ma, they're not taking the plea.
Those people need to be blocked.
What do you mean those people?
Those people are art people.
No, no, no, no.
People calling collect to their mom.
Yay.
No, we need to cut them off.
Wow.
Let them learn.
Let them learn to Yonra.
What's going to be funny is that there's going to be pay phones with a tap option.
And you can put the tap on your phone.
Oh, that's actually smart.
Yeah, because no one has quarters.
But if you have a phone, then why would you need a phone booth?
Come my mom.
No, we need to bring back phone booths so that Superman and other supermen can get in there.
Can go change in there?
There's no privacy these days.
No, you're going to see the fool that lives outside going in there.
And just be naked.
It's not changing
At all
Put it on the glass
All right
Just so you know
What?
That's gross
Right when the instrumental
went out and everything
Stop trying to have the last word
Dick
Like let me rap
My friend
They're right
That was the you know
I'm local
Here you go
Zool would come here
Now what's going on
Damn
Cheesmation
With Angie
Okay you guys
Things between
Tyra Banks
And Netflix are getting
Really messy
Now
Tyra Banks, she's known supermodel, right?
She's the creator of America's Next Top Model
and gave us this iconic line.
I was rooting for you.
We were all rooting for you.
How dare you?
Us in our meetings.
No, I would honestly watch America's Next Top Model all the time.
I love that show.
And so earlier this year, Netflix dropped in a documentary, right?
Pretty much saying like how this show came about.
And they were talking about all the behind scene, like all the behind scene drama, right?
Yeah.
There's a lot of drama.
You didn't know because you just saw it and you were like, oh, this is fun.
We should have known though.
Yeah, facts.
We should have, you guys.
But apparently Tyra did not like the way that Netflix was making her look or portrayed because if you guys saw it, like Tara made it seem like or Tyra seem like she was like this really bad person.
Like I watched it and I was like, oh, Tyra, like you really fire your friends.
You did this.
You did that.
And so now because of that, Tyra, it's actually suing Netflix saying like you guys portrayed me in this way that you know what?
But I sat down.
I did three and a half hours of interviews and only 16 minutes made it on air.
And so now Netflix is firing him back and saying like, nah, girl, you know how this works.
You actually signed the waiver.
You gave us creative control and that's what we put out.
Right.
And so now this whole like lawsuit's going on.
But Netflix is saying to the court saying like, hey, dismiss it because Tyra signed this waiver.
Yeah.
They requested for the judge to dismiss the lawsuit period because they're like, hey, look at her signature right here.
Yeah.
She's right there.
She only cares because she's getting negative backlash.
Yeah.
If everybody said she was a genius and, wow, she's incredible, all this stuff and had compliments for her, then she wouldn't have a thing to say.
Yeah.
Which she was, and it was very, like, iconic and no one's ever done that type of a thing before.
And she probably saw people were doing the, what is it, the American Idol for singing or, like, making the band type of thing or, like, I'm going to do this model.
But honestly, like, it's hard to deny the things that were said.
And they didn't just interview you.
They interviewed the girls.
And how many, like, often, like, when you were the creator of a TV show
because she was and was behind editing, how many models were like,
you took out what I really said.
I did this much hours of footage.
And now it's like tables.
It's ironic.
It's TV.
She knows how it works.
She did it for 20 years.
That's exactly what Netflix is saying.
But we'll see how this goes, right?
If it's hip hop, you know let these on.
There I go.
Rep sheet.
Let these set go.
Yes, Vic.
want a fan.
Greg.
That was amazing.
We don't know that is as big for the ox.
Monday.
How come everybody else gets Monday but I don't?
He's just like, let me connect the ox card.
He gave me a pen.
He gave me a pen.
What am I doing with a pen?
Oh, yeah, yeah.
Anyway, J-Coh was on his tour, the fall-off tour,
and he just stopped by in Cleveland,
and he had a really, really beautiful performance.
Now, if you love J-Coh, you know one of his main songs,
that people can't wait to hear at concert
and get to emotional is called Love Yours.
Essentially, no such thing.
Life that's better than yours.
It seems like this time around
there's a twist to the actual performance
and I don't think it was meant to make him cry
but it ended up making him cry.
It's a much more soulful,
like very instrumentation
and just like singing in a different melodic way
than what we're used to.
Check this out.
Yeah, that'll have you thinking.
I like that.
That'll have you thinking and your thoughts
and it happened.
to J. Cole himself was on stage.
You're hearing the crowd scream and yell behind me
because he started crying as this
as this went on.
That's beautiful.
Other people will clown it and I know and I get it
and it's like, oh, why crying
on stage or he's crying because of Drake
or he's crying because of Kendrick?
But it's just like, no, just a real moment
when beautiful music hits you?
And then I'm like, when does this will come to Los Angeles?
Because I need a cry.
That's what you're crying about.
If you need a good cry,
go to J. Cole's upcoming concert.
He comes in the beginning of September
And just go later on
Just be like, it's just because it's so beautiful
He's not gonna cry in L.A. though.
He likes it here.
He was crying because he was in Cleveland.
Okay.
Wow.
Wait, I just went over there
And I was like, what is happening?
You were crying, right?
You wanted to cry?
No, I was like, how the heck did Kid Cuddy and bone thugs make it out of here?
They couldn't get out fast enough.
Like, I get white LaBronlellan.
Damn!
No, no dog, have you been there?
Never been.
And like, I don't want to hate on Cleveland, but damn.
That bad?
Yay.
So that's a place that you don't recommend.
There's no such thing is a life that's better than yours.
That's the sound of the police.
The petty police.
You're petty.
You're just petty.
I'm being petty.
Petty, petty girl.
Pretty and them.
Petitist.
Pretty.
Petitist.
Oh, my goodness, gracious.
Let's talk pettiness in boxing or is it streaming or is it stream boxing?
I don't really know what the sport is anymore.
Boxing, let's get to it.
I want to talk to you guys about this man named Adrian Broner.
Once a top prospect in boxing.
They called him like the heir to Floyd Mayweather at one point.
He became a four-division world champion winning titles at the 130, 135, 140, and 147.
This guy was it and not just did he really, really fight good.
He also had a really slick mouth.
You have to check.
I found like the cleanest one that I could give you on the radio.
And here's something.
Listen, man, they call me the problem, but you could call me the can man, because anybody can't get it.
Afrikaans, Americans, Dominicans, Mexicans, anybody can get it.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, Adrian.
He would irk me in boxing, and now he irks me in streaming because now that he doesn't have a boxing career necessarily,
he's topped into the streaming market, and it's low-key sad to see what he's been up to,
gained a whole bunch of weight.
It seems like he's under the influence of science.
something most of the time.
He's become like the pervy, really weird feel at the parties.
He's trying to party with the young guys, right?
Yeah.
Every time I see him on stream, I'm like, oh, dude, like get the girls out of there.
Yes, protect the girls, please.
But he's also one of Ray J's homies.
Now, Ray J.
Recently had a boxing match this past weekend, which he won.
She did.
Put some respect on Ray Jays' name.
Ray J's a whole other story, right?
They would be homies, huh?
They won the homies, but Brandy, Ray J's sister,
I don't know if she likes it too much
because she was on stream going to support her brother,
which is awesome.
You know, he's had health issues
and he's lost his previous boxing matches.
So she went up to support.
And right at the doorway,
you've got to check out this video,
Brown Bag Morning's 106 on Instagram.
Right at the doorway is Adrian Broner
waiting for her like a creepy uncle,
like kind of swaying a little bit like,
she's coming, right?
She does the polite thing.
She says hi to him.
You're going to hear it very softly
because Brandy just talks very softly, but hear this.
It was very money.
How are you doing?
That was him.
And she said, hi, how are you, right?
Yeah.
So just seconds later, Ray J.
reintroduces them, like, hey, because she goes to see her brother, Ray J.
He says, hey, do you know A, B, Adrian Broner?
And Adrian acts really different.
You know, AB, you know, just walk past me, but it's all right.
I didn't walk past you.
I spoke to you.
It's sorry.
Everything is okay.
Everything is great.
You okay?
I love the sarcasm in Brandy's voice.
Of course everything is fine.
And then she makes her way out of that.
I think she was in the stream for like 0.5 seconds because of this altercation.
Listen to how she kind of handles it.
Oh, my, geez.
Interesting, you know?
No, no.
It's all right.
Yeah.
Good luck, brother.
I'm going to go back to my car.
I'm going.
Yeah, you're going to be a bit of a fucking good.
Man, man.
You're the problem, no.
I like, too.
I like that his friends know, like, April, you're the issue.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Brandy's just like, hey, I'm going to go back to my car.
Good luck, bro.
The energy in here is interesting.
I'm not in for this.
Hey, Brandy was like, I knew I shouldn't have came.
Yeah.
I'm trying to be supportive.
But Ray J keeps getting a weird little message.
He does.
And he's around the problem over there.
But Brandy said hello.
She did.
It's very low, but she looked at him and he said, how are you doing?
After she said, how are you?
Listen.
How are you?
So how does that?
You go from.
that to this.
I don't just walk past me, but it's all right.
I didn't walk past you.
I spoke to you.
It's sorry.
Everything is okay.
Everything is great.
You okay?
And that's,
that's,
that's ego on A.B.'s part
because it's like,
she acknowledged you.
She's a megastar.
She didn't have to.
She,
and she was like,
oh, hey, how are you?
Like, even that was like
just an exchange
in the pleasantries.
Yeah.
That's all you're owed,
really, you know what I'm saying?
But he wanted like a whole,
like, red carpet,
rollout or something.
I don't know.
The stop the hatred, bro.
Oh, my.
My God, it's Adrian Romper.
That's the thing.
Probably on the live stream, they were commenting like, oh, she didn't even say hi to you or something like that.
No, he wouldn't even, it wasn't even that much time.
It literally was she walked to her brother and then he walked right after and was like, she didn't even say hi to me, but that's fine.
Like, it wasn't like he checked the chat.
And Loki, I don't know.
Again, I think he might be under the influence of stuff.
And it's just really sad that we are seeing a decline of somebody that even if you didn't know him for boxing, like you can genuinely tell in the streaming world.
What like people are probably questioning what is he doing how like why do you guys have him there and at some point you got to look to the
Outsiders like the people that are not him yeah like why do you keep allowing this dude
To be on stream like this yes help him. Oh yeah all right well that was petty police let's get into some scrolling
Scrolling good day LA is going viral and it's all because of us
Oh they're there really they're they're they're
They're signing their own right, brother.
It's a good day, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Sure.
Why you're such a little aider.
They had Officer Talavera on.
Yeah, Office of Town.
Live TV, and that's the CHP officer
that freestled for us.
It sounded like this.
Look, top of the morning we at Power 106.
You tuned in the ground bag so you know what it is.
Highway patrol.
The CHP then took over the space.
From San Diego to Burbank to the Golden Gate.
Fire.
Yeah.
Millions of views, you know,
people commenting left and wide.
Possibly probably got him like a record deal or something.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I don't think you can make stops on the street anymore right now.
Oh, yeah.
No.
He's viral.
They're going to stop him.
Yeah, they're going to stop him.
He did a freestyle on their show as well.
On Good Day, L.A.
He went to Good Day, L.A.
That was tight.
Loki killed it.
Yeah, Loki.
Listen to this.
Look, Good Day, L.A.
We back at it again.
Coming at you live with another safety message.
It's mid-August.
Back to school, that's the hot topic.
These kids grow so fast you can't stop it.
But listen here.
You got some doubt.
Let's make it disappear.
A couple common.
misconception so let's make it clear like when you're in a school zone it's time to take it slow
the maximum speed limit is 25 or below keep your head up the eyes on the road let's try to focus
on the moment and put down the phone be prepared to stop for a school bus with the flashing lights kids
will always get the right away when you see the sign the same goes from crossing guards helping every day
most important stop we make the one next saves a child's life good kids driving to be great a fast-paced
environment but always running late we fire okay he did pretty good he did his thing he did his thing he did
thing. Why are you guys quiet for?
I just, it just hit me who he sounds like
and I've been trying to figure it out.
Easy. Yeah, the comments at it.
I didn't see those comments. I just figured it out
right now. Yeah, he sounds like Jeezy. He's really good
though. I liked it. I liked it a lot. I liked it a lot.
I was very nervous for him to do that on like TV because it's just TV
and I was like, oh my gosh. Oh my gosh.
You bet the riders are going to come after us because we kill him.
I know. Yeah, no. He did the key kill that.
But it was going good. Uh-huh.
Until one of the news anchors named Amanda Salas decided...
You're not going to hate on the news anchor.
Wait.
What?
Hold on.
She decided that she wanted to be a rapper too.
Oh, no.
She heard his freestyle and was like, you know what?
I did something as well.
And when she did it, you guys just got to listen to it.
Let me know what you think.
You down with CHP.
Yeah, you know me.
Yeah, you know me.
Thanks for hanging with Bobby, Sandy, and Mandy.
Thanks for the rives, for the real and raw.
And keeping the piece.
Protecting the law.
Yeah.
Be safe and alert.
We don't want to wreck.
Oh, Sir Talibara here.
Captain, come over here.
We got your crew to get.
Wow.
She caught the beat at the end.
Yeah.
She found it.
She found it.
She found it.
And her voice level down?
Yeah, yeah.
Girl.
She tried, Greg.
She tried.
She tried.
She's a meme too.
I love that for her because she's Loki the one that found the video.
Shouted to Amanda because she initially did the report.
I believe she's the entertainment.
reporter at Good Day, LA, and she saw the viral freestyle he did, put it on there, and then, like, reached out to them.
So I'm sure this was, like, her moment, too.
It was really cool.
Just leave the moment to...
Really?
I like this.
Didn't this fall also try to wrap?
I'm about to call Kaylani with how bad you pulled out.
Wow.
You made my computer die again.
Wow.
Not even dead.
It just doesn't want to play.
It just refuses to play, Greg.
It's so good.
It's that bad.
It's so good.
Yeah.
It's done with you, Graeme.
Damn, great.
Because it's so good, that's why.
I'm about to call Kailani with how bad you folded, boy.
Come on.
Yeah.
Oh.
Got them.
You got bars, go.
Go.
Come on, great.
Come on.
You got bars?
Yeah.
I might have folded in front of the CHP, but you know, they'll never be able to catch me.
Yeah.
I got that Honda Civic.
It's turboed.
Even though I don't, I can't.
Oh, they caught you.
Oh, they caught you.
They caught up.
They definitely caught up.
Are you really just mad that she went longer than you did?
Pause.
Oh, I put shook ones on right now.
You got to find the pocket.
Don't play me because I will.
She will do.
No, I have to freestyle at the top of my head.
She probably had writers for her.
She did not have a writer.
Yeah, she probably has like, even if that was not off the top of her head, like that was tough to remember.
Yeah, live teleprompters.
It's live TV.
Yeah, they have teleprompters telling her what the game.
She was looking around.
Yeah, she was doing Bobby D.
She was dancing, like, the robot and stuff.
And I was like, oh.
Greg just hates when women do things that guys do.
You're so right.
He hates women DJ.
He hates women.
What else shouldn't women do?
Wow.
They can do whatever they want?
Can women drive?
Is that okay with you?
Good or no?
I don't know about that way.
All right.
All right.
Whatever.
Your segment's done.
Let's get into the weather.
Concrete.
And now the weather.
Oh, hell the dog.
With concrete storm.
Okay, finish it, then it's going down for the weather Monday, August 17th.
First we're off and we hit the city of Brea.
Sending all you brownback haters, the Lord's Praia.
89 degrees and 67 degrees at night.
Next, we skate down to the city of Brentwood.
Nobody does it better than the West, fool.
84 degrees and 66 degrees at night.
That didn't rhyme, girl.
You got to rhyme.
Brentwood.
Brentwood?
West food?
What you mean?
West food?
West food.
How does that not rhyme, dog?
The way you said it.
Haters.
Pray for us.
Sending you guys a prayer.
Now we take the 134 to the city of the Luka Lake.
You've never been down bad if you had a tuna steak.
88 degrees and 66 degrees at night.
That's not a thing.
Exactly.
Lastly, we rock out in the city of Lincoln Heights where rocker foods have wicked nights.
86 degrees.
Rocker food.
and 67 degrees at night.
Rocker food?
Rocker foods?
You said rockafoos.
Yeah, I thought Rockefeller.
Yeah, that's what I thought.
Rockafel.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Bro, you suck again today.
Oh, my God.
It's going to be hot out there, guys.
So maybe that's what my brain is not activated right now.
89 degrees and 67 degrees at night in the city of Brea.
Brentwood, you're going to be 84 and 66 degrees at night.
Toluca Lake, 88 and 67 degrees.
Lincoln Heights, 87 and 6.7.
degrees at night perritos.
Stay cool, keep your kids, and pets out the whip.
Let's go. It's your boy concrete.
For Brad McMorne's, our proud 106.
Let's go.
And he does all of that in one breath, so
he did. Wow. I love that for you.
I do a lot. I do one breath.
All right, check this out, homie.
You need a homie or need some help.
We need a line.
I mean, phone line.
We got you for. The homie
help line. Brandy, dead ass, needs our help, right?
Brandy. Yeah. She needs her help.
Never said a dead ass in your life.
Can you not?
Yeah.
I do say it.
You don't.
No, you don't.
Say it when I'm with my friends when you guys aren't around.
I thought you didn't have any friends.
I don't.
We're definitely not his friend.
And that's fine.
Yes, you are.
You're giving unk.
I am like I'm trying to fit in.
Every time I go to New York, you know, I just say dead ass, but I never go.
So.
Okay.
I got to read Brand new story.
Okay.
As a whole democracy, we have voted that you'd never say that.
It's prop dead ass.
Can you just not?
do it. Okay, fine. All right. We took a little, I'll say he shouldn't stay dead ass anymore. Say I,
even in the car. Aye. All right. Pushing 40, by the way. I'm not pushing 40. I almost said something
back. You said I am, huh? No, no. I almost came a great crazy. All right. All right. Brandy,
Brandy hit us up and said, Brown bag. I need the homies help on this one because my man had me sitting in the car at a
Funeral.
My name is Brandy, and I've been with my boyfriend for three years.
Recently, his aunt passed away, and of course I wanted to be there for him.
We drive to the funeral together, pull up, and this man tells me, just wait for me in the car.
She said, excuse me?
His reasoning was, I haven't met his whole family yet, and everybody was grieving, and he
didn't want me sitting inside feeling awkward.
But Brownback, I'm not some new sneaky link.
Three years in, I've met his mom, sister, nieces, uncle, two thea's cousin and all his friends.
And there's also no ex or somebody from his past that I know of who would have been in there causing drama.
Even his mom talked to him afterward about why he didn't bring me inside and he basically told her she didn't need to be there, just drop it.
Damn.
She said, I haven't confronted him because I know he's grieving and I'm trying to give him space.
but ever since the funeral he's been a little more distant to less calls throughout the day
and when he's home he mostly keeps to himself so now my mind is going places part of me feels like
there had to be a reason he didn't want me inside especially since i was literally dressed for a funeral
sitting in the parking lot like his uber driver and now that he's been distant it's only making me
more suspicious but another part of me knows he just lost his aunt and maybe this is simply how he
deals with grief.
Brownback, after three years together, is it a red flag that my man made me wait in the car
during a funeral?
Or am I making this about me when he's the one grieving?
Do we all want to say it together?
Yes.
Ready?
One, two, three.
Yes, girl.
A red flag everywhere.
Wait, oh, that she's making it about herself.
No.
No.
No.
Dude, this is really tough.
She's making it about herself.
Her aunt didn't die.
She didn't even know anything.
And that's a problem she didn't know her.
Why do you, why do I meet all these people, but I don't know this aunt?
Maybe the aunt wasn't around.
And if she wasn't around, why are you grieving her so bad?
Yep.
Oh, my God.
It's true.
It's true.
They have childhood, you know, memories.
No.
She probably take him to get a chopped on the plaza or something.
He would have mentioned her before or something.
All I'm going to say is that.
If that's your favorite aunt, she knows your favorite aunt.
Yeah, for sure.
Met her in the past three years.
There was an X in the building.
There was for sure.
There is definitely next.
Really?
Inside.
You guys jump there?
I don't trust him.
Yeah.
I don't trust him at all.
Do three years and you're going to tell me like, hey, girls sit outside.
And what happened before or like the, or like the memorial or the, because before the burial, there's a weight.
Yeah.
Can we ask her?
Yeah.
What was that with that baby girls?
She's not trying to call.
She doesn't want to call Ninn.
She doesn't.
No.
But we're going to ask her questions.
There was someone there.
I know.
It's sight ha.
Is that what you would have done, girl?
Oh my.
Left her in the car?
Okay, so...
If you knew when X was in the building?
Oh, God.
I'm getting heated right now.
Okay, what kind of heated?
Because it's sounding a little...
I'm mad.
I'm mad.
I'm mad.
I'm mad.
Yeah, like, yeah.
Like, I'm mad.
You probably have me sit in the car waiting?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Like, don't even make me go.
That's the crazy part that makes me the most suspicious.
I don't want to, like, completely jump over to that side yet.
There's nothing that has made it not suspicious.
It's all suspicious.
You got ready for the funeral.
He was probably waiting for the, like,
How do I tell her?
I got to tell her now.
I got to tell her now.
Just stay inside because you don't know the family.
You know how many people I meet at wakes that are my cousins?
Yeah.
Like my grandma just passed away.
We had a wake in Palmdale and they're like, hi, Latina.
I was like, dang.
Hi.
Courtney.
It's your cousin, Toyito.
Oh, Toyito!
Oh, Toyito!
Oh, that you remember.
Babies.
You meet all the new babies.
You meet so many new people at the wakes in the funerals in the mornings.
Why is that your reason?
And she's been with you three years, brother man.
Okay, so I asked her what happened at the viewing.
She said nothing was just the viewing and the cremation after.
But did she go?
And I said, you were there, though?
And she said, yes, just in the car.
Wait, wait, wait, wait.
She was in the car for that and the funeral?
You were in the car.
And she just chilled there.
What was she doing listening to a podcast?
I hope she was listening to Brum and money.
Available on streaming platforms after the show.
She was plotting her homie helpline.
She was typing.
Did at least they have AC on?
because you know it's been hot it was very hot she passed on the window AC's on yeah I am okay
you know those disclaimers that we do like don't even kids and your pets in the car now girlfriends
yeah don't even know don't do that either oh and where I would personally just for like ishen giggles
want to know where the car was part because like did you see all the people just passing and they saw you
like the weird girl with like you know what I picture like the thing with like the veil like the black
the black veil it's not her wedding yeah yeah she's so
ready for a funeral like she wore the sleeves.
Yeah, she'll know how it has a fit for that.
And she just had to wait in the car in like the passenger of like a Dodge Chargers.
Dude, we're laughing, but that's so sad.
Imagine her being in the car and she's seeing everyone in there thinking like, oh, she got ready,
she did all that.
And now she's just waiting.
What if the car had no AC?
What if the car had no AC?
She's just hanging out the window.
Don't say that.
And low-key funerals have drama.
There's people that, oh, for sure.
That haven't seen each other in years because.
Because it would be, ping, pink, pink, pink, bring.
Oh, yeah, it would be a problem, and they have to see each other and stand on one side of the room and the other person towards the other side of the room.
It feels like that.
They got them a beef over the terrainos from years ago and stuff.
Okay, so she said it was all on the same day.
So it was all one day.
Where was this in Mexico?
Viewing and cremation after.
Okay, okay.
Maybe for the cremation.
It happens like that?
Yeah, I guess so, yes.
How many hours was she sitting out there then?
My baby girl.
That's great.
Dude.
My first assumption is like, there's an ex there.
That's the online mind right there.
There's like, the aunt had a favorite ex.
The favorite ex is there.
Boom.
And I wonder if maybe like, okay, so my thinking is.
My thinking is very different.
Is maybe.
I thinking is, was the ex in the family.
I kind of thought that too.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I kind of thought that too.
No.
I don't know.
With those people, once they meet her, tell him the draw, tell her the drama of like, yeah, your little boyfriend on there.
Oh.
He was kissing cousins in the back.
Oh.
Back in the jump.
No.
He was kissing cousins in the jumper and we had to excommunicate him from the family.
She was outside for four hours.
That is insane.
Insane.
Oh, my God, four hours?
And she didn't think of like, oh, let me just take an Uber.
Okay, can you ask her the whole time, like even before that, did he not tell you to not go?
Like, why even take you?
When he found out about her passing.
Yeah.
And where did they park?
Because it was down the street.
And the funeral and all of that.
Okay.
I don't know how to help her besides yes, this is a.
a red flag. Do we all agree that it's a red flag?
I don't know. What could help him out?
I'm a little iffy. I don't know.
I just, I just feel like it could be something weird, like an X or maybe
you hooked up with his cousin, something crazy. What could the innocent answer be?
Is that he was just like, all right, I don't want to like make this what it's not.
If the girlfriend hasn't met all these people, three years.
Like introducing them in that sort of setting.
You haven't been to a memorial brother. That's everyone's introducing themselves.
Three years.
Maybe he would just overthought it and he didn't do it.
Like, but again.
And then like your person, your partner's your support system.
Yeah.
Yeah.
They want to be there.
They want to be your rock for that.
She did want to be there for him too.
I honestly, I feel really bad.
But I don't know if it's immediately that it was just like some ex situation.
Then what else could it be?
Like even.
She asked if it's a red flag.
I said it's a red flag.
Yeah.
It is a red flag.
They know.
They know his truth.
And they're the side of the family that don't mind telling her his truth.
He got caught doing something
It's like, oh, you have a girlfriend
She knows, does she know me?
How long have you been with him?
You've been with the three years?
Who was that girl last week?
No, don't do that.
Don't do that, don't do that.
No, no, no.
What?
I thought you're bringing somebody else.
And also, RIP to the Tia, man.
Yeah, all right.
Yeah.
Because you didn't want to bring drama
according to you, sir, to the memorial funeral service.
But now look what you're doing.
You're bringing the drama by not taking her.
By not.
That's more stuff.
The mom was confused.
What if the...
Yeah.
The mom is like on Brandtie's side on this one.
The mom had asked him like, hey, why didn't you bring her?
And then he's like, just stay out.
Stay out of it, mom.
You stay out of it.
I'm going through a lot right now.
She's like, that was my sister.
For a Tia that he hasn't seen in at least three years.
Probably.
For her not to have met that Tia.
Yeah.
This is a huge red flag.
Maybe the Tia's La Hotha.
You know, but people find out stuff at funerals all the time.
What?
Maybe La Tia is La Houtara.
Okay.
I was thinking that too.
What?
What?
Yeah, I was for sure.
Like, I was for sure on my...
Yeah, you are.
Was she the Tia with the zebra dress?
Yeah.
Maybe find out the age of the Tia
will help me figure out
where to put her in my...
What, she's like a little...
That's what I don't think for me.
That's what I don't think for me.
The guy was like, you don't understand?
She wasn't only my Tia.
Then play the music.
That was a little...
I'm down.
That was a little bit.
Okay, never mind.
It doesn't work what you're doing.
Ask her how old a Tia was.
Find out where she died.
And what she died.
Sorry, we're texting baby girls.
You don't want to.
Hey, by this point, baby girl, if you're listening, you should just call it.
Yeah, this is a big old friend.
I'm using all my data.
But I would tell you from being at the funeral recently with my oldita who passed, there's so much drama.
You find out which Tios don't get along.
You find out like the drama show who's broken up, who had a baby, all of that.
So what did you find out?
So what did you find out at a funeral?
This lady is probably about to find out.
Brandy's about to find out that her man ain't really her man.
He's everybody's man.
And that's why he can't go to the funeral.
Because what if he got with the deal?
If people were here, he'd be like, it's gay.
That's gay.
That's why he left you in the car.
They'd be like, what, you're with a girl now?
We met Pablo before.
Let's switch up, Raoul.
818.
520159.
All right.
Is this a red flag to be kept in your man's car while he attends a funeral, ladies and gentlemen?
He says it's like, oh, I didn't want to make it about us.
Too many people would ask questions because, you know, we've been together so recent of three years.
she's like this is weird
even his mom was tripping like
why didn't you bring her inside
I stayed in the car for
well four hours
four hours
have you lost itia
do you know what it's like
to let me make this about you
I'm going through so much right now
I had a homie that
he would always bring a girl with him
it would always be different girls
I have a cousin like that
and he would always leave them in the car
no matter the situation
what no matter anything
they would always stay in the car
That was his thing
And we would be in the studio
For 10 hours sometimes
She would just stay in the car
Yikes
He would go check on her once in a while
But
I don't know why he was like that
I never really asked him
That was his business
But maybe people
My cousin Robert
No every carnasada a new girl
And he don't care
He's like this is hey this is my friend
And you want a beer
She'll go to the liquor store
You're crazy Robert
You know what I'm crazy Robert?
You know what I'm a model?
And then they're just dead.
I have no music playing.
They're peggatita in English.
The music in their head.
All right.
Brady needs our help, man.
She's going through.
Just tell us how the Tia Pass spent it.
She was 60 and had a severe stroke.
And in her picture, she looked very pretty.
Of course.
See, now you can't make those jokes about the Tia with the zipper dress that it was her and maybe they had a thing.
Greg.
Well, made her have that stroke, huh?
Oh.
She got the heart.
Greg.
Like, stop.
KPWR FM, HD1, Los Angeles, Power 106.
LA's number one for hip-hop, Buenos Dias.
We are inside the homie help line trying to help out.
Brandy, is this a red flag?
Have you been left in the car too?
Because it happens, like, you'll be surprised.
My dad used to leave us in the car when he worked, but it's like, yeah, I get it.
We're annoying.
There was one time my dad, my dad left me in the car for like three hours because he went into FRIES electronics.
I don't know where he went.
It's just that fries, they have so much activa.
Like, there's aliens.
What?
Yeah, there's a restaurant.
That place was amazing.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
It doesn't exist anymore in Burbank.
You would have loved it.
You would have loved it if you went in.
You would have been too expensive.
You would have wanted everything.
But then also he did it in, like, the hospital of San Diego, and I was lost, and I was crying.
So what he's trying to insinuate is that his dad would even in a car while his dad would go on Aventuras.
Oh, yeah.
It's adding up now.
I'm just like, where were you for four hours, bro?
He would go for four hours.
I don't know where he went.
I would just need 10 minutes.
Okay.
Yeah, they look little big, I'll be back, girl.
Listen to my mix case.
I'll be back before a third song, baby.
Don't worry, don't wait.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, be reasonable.
Got this on a deal.
You're weird.
Regina, Regina and Baldwin, I'm assuming Baldwin Hills or Baldwin Park?
You tell me, Regina.
There's so many.
It's a big difference.
Regina?
Good morning.
Good morning, girl.
It's from Baldwin Park.
There is.
The SGB.
The SGB.
Let's go.
Let's go.
My SGB sister.
All right, talk to us.
What would you tell Brandy?
It seems like you have a similar situation.
Yeah, Brandy girl, I fail you.
I've been in a similar situation.
So my husband's grandma,
grandpa passed away.
And we had to go to the services in Stockton,
which is like six hour drive from L.A., you know?
And, you know, we go to the services.
And this was my first time,
actually meeting his family because some of his family live in Stockton and then the rest live in
Utah. So this was actually my first time meeting that side of the family. His dad's side of the
family. Never met his dad, his sister's, anybody like that. So I was kind of excited. You know, we just
had a baby. Our son was maybe around like six months old. So, you know, this was first time meeting
myself and their grandson or their nephew. So we roll up to the service, the grandpa's services.
and I already knew like I wasn't going to view his body or anything.
I just wanted to stay in the background with the baby,
but I wanted to be supportive of my husband and be by his side.
Of course.
So when we get to the services, we're in the car and his dad comes to the car.
Mind you, I never met the dad before.
Didn't really acknowledge me and told my husband, right now, Miho,
we're only allowing immediate family to come in.
So if your wife and your son can please stay in the car.
What?
I understood that.
I was like, okay, immediate.
I mean, I'm his wife and this is his son.
Like, how more immediate can it get?
But I respect it, you know?
So I'm in the car for about, like, 30, 45 minutes.
And I see, like, just a lot of people, like, no longer immediate family, just everyone
going and going and going.
So I'm like, okay.
So my husband comes out.
He's like, yeah, babe, like, they're still just one immediate family.
And I was so, like, he did because I'm like, we drove six hours.
Like, your dad couldn't just call you and say,
Hey, Miho, it would be better for you to come by yourself because we just really want immediate
family versus having me and my son say in the car for like six hours.
Yeah.
So I was like really, really upset.
I was hurt and upset.
I'm like, whatever.
So I took off.
Luckily, we got a hotel and I just went back to the hotel, you know.
And I was trying to be respectful.
But to me, I was just like, wow, like this conversation could have been done prior.
Prior.
Yeah.
Before you got ready.
You could have found something to do that day.
And I'm wondering, because it does seem like.
And of course you gave into the family's wishes and it was very inconvenient how they said it.
It seems like with Brandy, the family actually wanted her there.
I least the mom.
Her mother-in-law said like, hey, why didn't you bring her in?
It was a choice of the boyfriend.
Yeah.
Oh, he's just being shady.
He's being shady and rude.
Disrespectful.
Like the conversation you guys had before, like for some reason, guys do that.
They bring their girls and leave them in the car.
Like, I think it's like something for their eagle.
Yeah.
That's annoying.
Yeah, the homie would do that.
And I honestly, I was impressed.
I was impressed by the homie.
I was like, damn, like, he just made her weight.
He just got her like that.
He got mind control over it.
That's what I was thinking.
Does your husband's family, do they like you?
Well, like I said, I've never met them before.
That was going to be my first time, maybe of them.
Yeah.
And you weren't with him, like, for the three years or how long were you?
You said, how long were.
with them? At that, well, we've been together for four years, but at that time, we were, like,
together two years we just got married. But his, like I said, his family up north in Utah, so he
doesn't really have a close-girl. You didn't invite them to the wedding. They're not invited
to a funeral girl. No.
The wedding was like, it was a courthouse wedding, so it wasn't like, oh. So do you mean it was
immediate family only, just like the funeral?
Oh, they're being. They were being petty back.
Exactly.
No, they were invited.
They were like, they're always invited, but they just don't come around.
And I'm like, their excuses because they live far.
So I get it.
You know, I'm like, whatever.
Like, I don't take things personal.
Like, you know?
Yeah.
But we did invite the dad.
We did invite his like brother and his sister and his dad to the wedding.
His brother said he couldn't get his day off.
Oh, they made excuses even then.
I'm sorry?
They made excuses even then to not go.
Yeah, exactly.
Yeah.
So I was a little hurt with them, you know, but I feel brandy.
I mean, it sucks to, like, be supportive on your partner's end.
And then, you know, because I was upset with my husband.
I was like, why didn't you speak up for me?
Why didn't you say, like, this is my wife and my son.
They are immediate family, you know?
And then guess what?
Guess what, Regina?
Then why are you making a big deal?
Why are you causing drama?
And you're like, wait, what?
But the blade shifts to you immediately for having a problem.
Oh, I'm sorry.
I'm not trying to barge in on the funeral day.
Damn.
We don't know that kid anymore time.
I let them have it the next day.
I was like, I'm going to give them.
Oh, you did.
Okay.
Grieve.
Good job, Regina.
I was so upset.
I bet.
God.
And you're just in Stockton for no reason.
Wait till the next screen roll.
You'll get it back.
Nobody wants to be there.
All right.
Power 106, number one for hip hop in Tustin.
Shout to all the Peritos over there in Tustin.
We are talking inside the homie help line for our homegirl brandy.
She was left outside in the whip of her man during her man.
during her man's Dia's funeral, okay?
She was there for four hours.
According to her man,
the family hasn't met you yet.
Yes, we've been together three years,
but you haven't met some of them
and I don't want to make this about us.
When even his own mom was like,
why didn't you bring brandy?
I like brandy.
She could have held your hand.
He said, hey, don't worry about it.
Don't ask no question.
Drop it, mom.
Could it be he didn't want her to see him cry?
No.
After three years, I would think you'd see your man cry.
Sometimes you don't.
Have you ever seen your mom?
No?
Sometimes you don't.
until it's like a really harsh, like, situation.
Yeah.
My last serious relationship, she probably saw me cry like four months in,
because my dog had just died.
So then I was like, oh, sad about that.
Pobrecyto.
What you laughing at me?
I'm not laughing, and we said Poblesito.
Yeah, I said, oh.
A little guenqueville.
No, no, no, yes, it was, chiquito lino.
All right, all right, let's go to Matt in Sunland.
Matt, what's up, Matt?
Hey, guys.
Hi, Matt.
Matt, talk to us.
I just got to work.
Oh.
You know, my first thought on this was they got into a fight on the way over there.
It's a good question.
We didn't ask that.
We missed that.
Because that could have been the reason.
He was afraid or he was afraid that she was going to cause some sort of scene inside the funeral.
He already knows how you are.
And then he can't tell you, I don't want you inside because I know how you are.
They're going to be, you're going to be all, it's a car of a carota.
Matt, that's a really good observation.
I mean, but my personal.
experience. I'm a white guy, but I dated this Costa Rican guy. Beautiful family. Huge
fucking, huge family. All right, Matt, so you're white and you dated a Costa Rican man.
Yes, yes. Yeah, I'm gay. So, a huge family, right?
It's gay. It's gay, Matt. It's going to. No, no, no. I go to, we go back to Vegas for
the funeral because I'm from Vegas. And found out that he had his uncle as a sidepiece.
Matt?
What?
Matt?
What the hell did you just say?
He had his uncle as a side piece.
What?
Matt, in Spanish, this is what we play when it's like a crazy drama.
I know you're white, but that's like the sound.
Is that my novella music?
Yes.
That's insane.
Desgraciero.
Desgraciero, dasvastando to Tio.
Do you speak Spanish?
Yes, his Tio.
He's Tio.
He's Tio.
Yeah.
Giacala.
Wait, how did you find?
How did how did I find out?
Yeah.
His tears?
Tia's Tia!
Tia!
Tia!
What's so funny is that in his family, it's like all the Tia's, they all get pregnant at the same time and they all gossip.
And yeah, I found out.
So when I confronted him, he said, no, it was a long time ago.
It didn't happen like that.
But, you know, yeah, we laughed about three years.
It did happen.
Three and a half years you were together.
It did.
The Tio that was also your man's side piece, he died.
No, no, no, no.
He was actually locked up.
He was locked up.
He was in prison, too.
Oh, damn.
Oh, my God.
He was a bad boy.
But you said you were at the funeral for Abolito, Grandpa.
Abolito is a funeral.
Is that where you find out or did he keep you?
Yes, that's what the Tias told me.
They spilled the tea
This tea was hot
How did they tell you?
Yes
They had some drinks and told me it was crazy
I was just like really
Yeah the the thias will always
Rett on like another person in the family
While they have tea on themselves
They're trying to just like
What Matt
It made for an interesting four hour drive back home
I bet
Because it said it was Vegas
And then back to Sunland
Okay
And his response was like it didn't have
happened like that is actually not true.
Yeah, it was just,
may he tried to make it seem like they were just,
they were just on drugs.
And they,
it was just happening.
This is a crazy family.
This is a crazy story.
I work in recovery.
I'm a drug technician.
Wow.
Amazing.
Thank you for your serious.
Yeah, that's how I met him.
We all had past lives.
You know what I mean?
Okay, Matt.
That was your number one red flag, Matt.
You don't get high on your own supply.
You don't date.
He was like,
you know, I just got to work.
Okay.
Okay, hey, Matt.
Bye, Matt.
Thanks for all the team.
Wow.
I said too much.
I said too much.
That's what you said.
Matt is incredible.
What?
That fool was hooked me.
I was like, no way.
He's trolling us.
So maybe the Tia.
It's his sidebeats.
No, but the dead one is not.
I'm saying he didn't want him to go in there.
He don't want her to go in there because the Tias that I got pregnant at the same time spill the Tee on who's there.
Or.
So I asked.
We put the T and Tias.
So I asked.
I said, you know, have you ever seen him cry before?
She said when he found out about his Tia, he got tearyide and went to the restroom right away
so he didn't want to be seen.
Yeah.
Okay.
And then also, she said we didn't fight on the way over there.
We were cool the whole time.
See, there's something he's hiding.
And the family knows.
Okay.
David, David and La Habra.
David is on the dude's side.
What?
Morning.
Morning.
Good morning.
David.
David, did you hear the hot tea that Mad just gave us?
I know.
That was crazy.
That was crazy.
Honestly, I'm deaf.
Yeah.
How do you come back after that?
I don't know.
Talk to us because you are private.
You said you're a really private person.
And maybe you can give Brandy an understanding of what her man's going through.
Yes.
So I've actually been married for 10 years.
And I actually have a 7-year-old son.
About a year ago, my great grandmother passed away.
and my wife decided to attend the funeral.
But here's the thing.
I was very close to my great grandma, but not around my family.
So when we actually showed up to the funeral, about 40% of my family that I don't talk to,
found out that A, I was married, and B, that I have a child.
So as soon as we walked into the funeral
Everybody was looking at us
We basically became the center stage of attention
I bet
Because you didn't talk you had beef with
There was some ops in there
There's people that you probably cut off
That you don't talk to
But you all love your vis-auela
Your great grandma
So you're all gonna be there
And you don't want to involve her in that neck
That ojo
You guys for sure got ojo that day
For sure
Yes so it's like
You know
I really love my great grandma
So I was just trying to grief, you know, but it just, it became the fact, everybody was walking up to us.
Like, dude, who is this woman?
Who is this child?
It's like, is this child even yours?
Ew.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah, like, like, just questions left and right, left and right, left and right.
And it got to a point where I actually, we, I got annoyed and we actually, I walked out of the funeral because I didn't know what to do.
And I'm sure that messed it up for you because you definitely want to grieve your great grandma.
Yes. So and it was just like, like I understand, you know, like everybody agrees different, you know. And honestly, I, you know, I love my wife and I love my son, but I kind of wish that I would have went to the funeral alone.
Wow. Dang. You regret taking like, like, look. Yeah, like looking back at it because I feel bad, you know, we're, we're there to grief. And then like I feel like I just, in a way, I stole the show. Like, yeah. I just.
And not willingly.
You didn't want to.
Yeah.
You haven't spoken to these people in so many years and then come all the questions.
Wow.
Correct.
Wow.
I have another question.
How much did Brandy's man pay you to call up and give a logical excuse?
Because this is incredible.
For this dilemma.
Airtight defense right here.
This is insane.
You should be a defense attorney.
Zero.
I don't know who these people are.
I just, I thought it interesting because I listen to you guys every morning.
Oh, thank you.
You know, like every, every single day I listen to you guys.
So I, I, as soon as I heard that, I was just like, dude, like, there's no way.
I thought, yeah, like, I thought I was the only one that, like.
That would feel that way.
Yes, because it's like, it is a little bit stressful because, like, you know, the funeral was almost a year ago.
And so this day, people are still talking about it.
Like, a bunch of, a bunch of people are.
reaching out to me on Facebook, like,
like, why aren't she answering me?
Why this?
Why that?
You're a rock star.
It's like, it became just like a crazier.
All I wanted to do was say goodbye to my great grandma, you know?
Because my son knew his, my friend knew her as well, you know.
And he, he's loved her.
So it's like, you know, like he doesn't understand the situation that happened.
Of course.
Why are they saying I'm not yours, Dad?
What happened, Greg?
Yeah.
And there was just like, because he was like, hey,
like, you know, where's my great, great grandma going?
I was like, well, you know, she's going to be gone for a while.
Like, you know, she's, you know, she's going to be up to a kid.
Yeah.
And then, like, you know, like, I got my son asking client.
I got everybody else.
And, like, my wife just didn't know what to do.
Right.
Because she just didn't want to interfere.
Like, she was just, like, not a loss for words.
Like, you know, she's like, she's watching me cry.
She's watching my family bombard me with questions.
She's watching my son.
Like, and it was just like a whole chaos.
And honestly, I just walked out.
I didn't know what to do.
And you wish that maybe.
My emotions were through the room.
Yeah, you wish that maybe you wouldn't have taken them.
I think it was more his family.
Honestly.
Hold on.
Yeah, like honestly.
Hold on.
Cause Greg.
What, Greg?
I think it's because his family shocked.
Why?
Because he's like, so yeah.
All right.
Oh, my God.
You don't hear it his voice.
No.
So yeah.
So yeah.
You're saying they're shocked.
You're saying.
Yes.
And not a partner.
Yes.
Is that what you're saying.
That's what I'm saying.
That's what I'm saying.
That's what I'm saying.
I would never say that about you, Greg.
You're my homie.
We're basically neighbors.
I'm going to say that.
David, I'm sorry for Greg.
That's okay.
Wait, hold on.
You didn't help your case with that one.
Wait, hold on.
David, why did they think that kid wasn't yours?
Does your kid not look like you?
Oh, no, he looks exactly like me.
Like, he is a complete replica of me.
God, me need you.
So, like, I,
You know, it's going to sound crazy, but I've only been on Facebook for, like, about maybe like six years.
So, like, all, like, yeah, I'm almost 30.
So, like, my whole teenage life, my whole, all, like, everything, I, I didn't have social media.
You're a private person.
Yeah.
Okay.
Like, like, till this day, I have never, I have a lot of people don't believe me, but I have never posted a picture of my child.
Yeah, that's fine.
On social media.
That's your prerogative.
So, like, yeah, that's, like.
Yeah.
totally fine. I'm sorry. I just can't unhear it now, so I'm just going to...
Yeah, I can't unhear it now?
Thank you. Can you put him on hold? Can we give
something for Greg? Be rude.
Hey.
Can't unhear it. Hey, David.
Yes. David, do you like the Jonas Brothers?
Yes.
Which one's the cutest? Just kidding.
Because we have Jonas Brothers two kids. And I was wondering if you wanted them
for your trouble.
Oh, yeah, I'll take on.
Okay.
Sing me a Jonas Brother song and they're yours.
Oh, go, go, go.
Oh, man, you can't put me on a phone like that.
Come on.
Come on.
Come on.
Love bug?
Yeah.
I also have Chris Brown and Usher tickets.
You want to see them on stage?
I would probably do that Jonas.
Because I grew up watching Cambrook and just the other day we're watching the cat song.
Hold on the line.
I'm sorry.
I feel like me.
He has a wife and kid.
You better chill the F.
Everybody told F out.
We're not helping Brandy by doing this.
No, we're not.
We're deflecting now.
I watched Camp Rock as a kid.
So did you?
I never watched Camp Rock.
I don't even know what Camp Rock is even going on.
No, I'm tall for it.
What is Camp Rock?
I don't know.
Is that School House Rock?
No, I don't know.
I was already outside.
What?
Jose, you saw.
Of course you sigh.
My sisters loved it.
Your sisters loved it.
Your sisters.
All right.
Brandy, it's a red flag.
Yeah, girl.
Unless he might be.
and his family would be surprised.
That would shut down the funeral.
No, David's explanation makes sense.
There's people I don't get along with my family.
Some of us have cut family off and it's like, I'm going to see them and I'm not trying to bring you in that bad vibe, unfortunately.
You know?
You're still not.
No, still not.
You could have told her before.
I'm trying.
I try.
I try. I'm trying.
It's time to win some tickets.
We have tickets to go too fast and furious.
Universal Studios have a good time before summer.
Ands for God.
We have your tickets.
But our student of the day,
Victor has to guess a trivia question.
Right.
Okay, Victor, just for I.
You don't do that.
You started last week as the first student of the day.
Present.
When you continued to see everybody else,
you kind of were like,
which was my turn again, huh?
Yes.
Because you're a trivia guy.
Yeah.
Every time it's someone else's turn,
Vic is like,
I wish it was my turn.
I just want to speak.
You know?
Nerd.
Teacher!
Teacher!
I know the answer.
I know the answer.
That's how to feel.
Well, it's your day again, my friend.
Gabriel in Hemet believes that you will win him the tickets.
I got you, brother.
We're taking you out of Hemet, at least for the day.
It's freaking Gabriel.
We're dragging you out of there.
He's going for you.
Paula and Fullerton is going against you, my friend, okay?
Can we spin the wheel?
Please see which subject?
Vic is going to have to get trivia for.
English.
Let's go.
All right.
So, here's your English question, my friend.
This is my worst subject.
Is it?
No, it's not.
No, it's not.
He's lying to the class.
It's mine.
Angie?
It's true.
If there was a gun in my head,
English.
I would have guessed it.
Yeah.
Was English for you?
Okay, hold on that.
I'm getting every freaking.
subject but English in my paper word.
Yeah, hold on one second.
English.
Okay.
Are you ready?
Yes.
All right.
Which one of these words is an adjective, okay?
Oh.
Quickly, run, beautiful, or jump?
Beautiful.
Good job.
Congratulations to you.
Try to trick me with the adverbs.
One of those was an adverb, not an adjective.
Which one?
Quickly.
Yes.
What a nerd.
Yeah, he is.
Gabriel over there and Hemet, my friend, you are going to University of
Hemet, Doug.
Start driving now.
How does it feel?
That's right, dog.
Start driving you right now.
Aw.
But real quick, man, I'm from San Jacinto, man.
Hemm is together, porfa.
But you say that's the borderline.
It's right next to it.
So then why you say you're from Hemet?
I didn't.
Your guy did.
I told them, hey, please don't put him and he's like, I'm going to put him it.
I say, thanks, for what I'm going to put him.
San Jacinto.
It's closer to the casino.
Oh, is this?
Awebo.
Well, no matter where it is, you're going to go to University.
We got four tickets for you.
Congrats, brother.
I appreciate y'all, man.
We love Brown Bag over here, too, man.
Always and forever.
Power, one over feet.
You know we love him.
Always and forever.
Dedicate that to Hemet.
Each moment with you.
What's up?
This is Be Real from Cypress Hill.
Where are you from, Es?
Don't you know I'm local?
Yes, and over the weekend for all my Disney fans,
which aren't we all Disney kids at the end of the day,
there have been some D-23, a big Disney Expo,
that goes down every year where they announce
different cool things in the movies and in the parks.
They have announced some pretty cool stuff going on
at Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park.
One of the biggest things that I saw that everyone was tripping out about
is that Tomorrowland will get a whole revamp.
Now, if you go to Tomorrowland,
It's where, I don't know, you go into the park and you make it right.
That's kind of I go to.
Yeah.
You play the little Space Invader game.
Star Tours.
Star Tours is there.
I was this old that there was a Michael Jackson feature in that area.
But it has been around a long time, and people often say, you know, it's Tomorrowland, but it kind of looks like yesterday.
So they haven't announced that they will be doing a revamp to that whole area because it deserves it.
It does.
You know, the parks have incredible.
Like, they updated.
Tune Town, and now tomorrow land will get its new update.
They got Pizza Planet there, too.
Pizza Planet there.
Pizza Planet is there.
Autopia.
Autopia is there.
People are hoping that Autopia might go electric because Autopia is brought to you by Honda.
It is.
And it smells like Hondas.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah, yeah.
So they're saying, hey, maybe switch to electric, have a whole new vibe out there.
And it's just interesting to see.
I know Disney's going to do what Disney doesn't make it 10 times, 100 times more incredible.
but it's one of our go-toes.
We kind of always go on the little ship.
I hate that I don't know the name.
The submarine.
The submarine.
No, not the submarine.
Excuse me.
The spaceship that goes around.
You kind of see it.
It's like the entrance of tomorrow.
Oh, you mean the monorail?
No.
Oh, my goodness.
See, there's so many.
Yeah, there's a lot.
It's spaces that go around.
They go up and they go around.
It's the entrance of Tomorrowland.
Oh, the little ones.
See, the rockets.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
The Monoray.
The paper movie.
I just know so much.
They also.
announce what the Coco ride is going to be like over at Disney California Adventure Park.
They detailed it to be a new boat ride with no height requirement.
Think possibly like it's a small world.
Okay.
We're going to travel with Miguel into the land of the dead surrounded by the characters
and music from Coco.
So that's going to be super cool.
That's going to look so pretty with all the colors.
Dude, I'm excited for that one.
Yes.
So they also announced this is not part of the park stuff, but in the movies,
announcement. They announced that there will be a Coco too on the way.
Nice. And they even gave an image of what Miguel from
Coco would look like. He looks like my son's new haircut.
From back to school. You know, people were like, oh, I don't like
the haircut or whatever. I'm like, Becky, you've never seen a Latino kid
before. I don't get a cut. People are like, he doesn't look Mexican. I'm like, oh my God,
he looks so Mexican. He looks more. I didn't know. He could look more Mexican. I know. He could look more
Mexican. I know.
Then he did.
What, bro?
No, I like it.
I like it, too.
Yeah, I like it.
The photo that they did show was him kind of on the street with his dog, and it was like, hey, we're back.
Yeah.
2029 is when you can't expect it.
It's 2029.
It takes time.
Yes, and I heard the synopsis for that is that Ernesto de la Cruz somehow brings him back to the land of the dead.
Because he wants his own karma-ish type of deal with Miguel from Coco.
Yeah.
It's a whole drama show.
It's a whole Mexican novella and we are here for it.
So those are just a couple of the many updates that D-23 announced.
We're going to give you more as the week progresses and online Brownback Morning's 106 on Instagram.
I'm personally excited for the cocoa ride, especially what they're making in that Disney, California Adventure Park.
That, like, you walk all the way to the end and it's like mariachi.
They have new food they're going to try out there too, but that's where you can get a cool little meat cheese.
and to have a right to, now you can enjoy it.
Every time I'm in the cocoa spot, like that area, I'm like, oh, I'm home.
That's how it feels.
You're home?
Yeah.
You feel like I'm home?
You.
Yeah, like I'm home.
Like at the Pueblo?
Do you go like, Arriba?
Does that what you do, too?
I just feel like I'm home.
Do you want to tell the people how you hate the movie?
I've been waiting for it.
Oh, you're so right.
Okay.
Look at this side.
Look at this big old liar.
Now it makes you feel like home?
Yeah, but you want it in the space.
So Vic is like, um, he was
Trolling before trolling was like a name.
Like he's like, hey, I'm going to get pop in one way or another.
And one way that I'm going to get pop in is I'm just going to have the opposite,
the opposite opinion of everybody else.
We all love Coco.
Yeah, we do.
The movie's incredible.
Great movie.
Great.
Not true to life.
My grandma's better than Coco.
That's facts.
Dude.
Coco didn't do much for her to be named.
The whole movie.
For the film to be named that, it should have been called Miguel.
I swear, Vic, if I see you on the ride.
I'm going to be pissed.
Yeah, well, right now he just said he feels like home in their last.
In Coco's Land.
Wow.
You conquistador if I never heard one.
Very Spanish.
I'm looking forward to the new movie.
And shout out to Mama Coco.
She went through a lot.
She did.
She went through so much in order to, like, then she got into the wheelchair.
Do you think my grandma didn't do a lot?
She just passed away.
She looks exactly like Mama Coco.
So did my grandma too?
You think having kids is not a lot, raising them?
They just didn't show those parts that much.
Victor, you're horrible.
You're horrible.
I'm not horrible.
I'm glad we all agree.
We all agree on that.
Right, dude.
That was, don't you know, I'm local.
Do it, come here?
Now what's going on?
Damn!
She's Mason with Angie.
Okay, you guys, some serious news.
RIP to Hating Panette's here.
She's a known well actress.
You guys probably know her from Ask Claire on Heroes.
She was on the TV show Nashville.
She was on Scream.
She did a lot of shows.
I know let that you mentioned, you loved her, and...
I love Remember the Titans in the film.
I'll admit that.
but you're still weak on the left side
We're not weak on the left side
We just gotta work harder on the left side
That's all
It's not the problem
I love her in that movie
Young baby girl
Able to act
With the goat like Denzel Washington
At that age
She did a bunch of commercial work too
Like this girl has grown up in Hollywood
Yeah I didn't know she actually started
Doing acting since she was eight months old
Like she was in commercials
Her mom was an actress
Her mom was an actress
And so it was confirmed just yesterday
by her rep that she did pass away.
Right now, it hasn't been, there's no official cause of death, but there's an open
investigation.
And they're saying there's a possible cost of overdose and cardiac arrest.
So again, they're still looking into it.
They're going to probably say what happened probably by today.
But it's crazy that she passed away five days before her birthday.
Oh, my gosh.
And I was reading about her life, like her personal life and Homegirl went through a lot of
stuff.
Like she went through postpartum depression.
She went through alcohol substance abuse.
She even talked about her mom like a couple of months ago when she sat down for an interview.
And she said that, yeah, her mom was her manager, but it got to a point where she didn't really have that mom and daughter connection anymore that she fired her because she really wanted just that mom connection.
When I was 19, I finally got the guts to split from her as business wise because I desperately wanted a relationship with her, desperately.
wanted her to just be my mom, but I wasn't expecting the reaction that I got, which was you owe me.
And it was disappointing to find out that it was money and that she didn't pursue a relationship
with me.
So she goes on to, they ask her like, so do you talk to her as some now?
And then this was back in May.
And she's like, no, I don't talk to her.
Like unless she calls me that she needs something, but it's sad because my whole life,
I was at like I wanted her approval.
Oh, man.
Yeah.
No, she made mention in that same interview how her mom would guilt her when she was little.
Because she had a younger brother who unfortunately also passed away recently and she's been grieving that as well.
So her mom would say, I'm missing out on your brother growing up and being a wife to my husband because of you, because I'm taking you to these auditions.
And she mentions like, I never asked for that.
Like I'm a kid.
Like you were putting me in when I was eight months old.
What will did I have to make you do this?
Granted, she did love being an actress and all that came with that.
But unfortunately, that cost the relationship.
She's estranged from her.
And then she also gave up custody of her own child.
Yeah, she did talk about that because, again, she went through postpartum depression.
And so she was saying, you know what?
During that time when I had my baby, like, I just gave up the full custody to her dad.
Because of that time, I'm going through postpartum depression.
Not only that, but I'm also going through substance abuse.
So I had to look out for my daughter.
But as of right now, I know before she passed away, like they had to be.
a good relationship as my mother and daughter.
Oh, okay.
But she was just saying, like, I was looking out for my daughter for that.
That's why I gave up full custody.
It's a lot.
It is a lot.
In her book that she just came out with in May, it details so many things.
It details things that she had, like, inappropriate things, situations happen to her while
she was in Hollywood, plus the estrangement from her family, plus her brother passing away.
So all of these things are compounded.
Apparently, she went on a flight with the on-again, off-again, boy.
friend to the south they were in north carolina south carolina south carolina where the call came in from
when she reportedly had suffered a cardiac arrest of some sort this on again off again boyfriend they're
saying they're investigating because he had previous domestic violence calls against her where she was a
victim so it's not clear what has happened there's so so many um suspicious details surrounding her
passing she was just 36 years old
young. Such a bright smile.
You see her in like movies and stuff like that.
Bring it on to his fire, girl. She killed
her her slouching video. You see stuff like that and you're like
wow, I had no idea this person was suffering so much.
She was going through that. Yeah.
Apple, you sneaky sneaky
son of a gun. They have figured out another way to get us to spend more money.
Does anyone spend like the iCloud storage?
I just say $2.99.
No, I'm not 10 now.
I pay for Apple Music, too.
That's $999,000.
All of that.
Well, you guys know Siri, right?
Our good homegirl, Siri.
Hey, Siri.
Play brown bag mornings to anybody that has a phone.
We just went off.
We just went off.
No.
Oh, my God.
What's going on?
It really works.
Yeah, it works.
There you go.
Yeah, it's proof that it works.
our podcast.
Okay,
okay.
Siri, stop.
Okay, perfect.
Anyway,
Siri has had some competition lately.
We had Siri.
Oh, stop.
Just, I update.
Okay, let me call her something else.
Yeah.
Sada.
Sada has some competition with chat GPT, with Claude, with all of them.
As you're, like, even Google Gemini and everything, it's like, dang, these are,
some smart chat bots.
Way better.
Yeah.
And then when you ask Sarah something, it's like, I can't get.
that right now. She won't be knowing nothing no more.
Sarah and Alexa are
like down bad. Yeah, very
it kind of makes you feel like, oh, we've been
settling for what they
used to give us. Now that you know, like chat, GPD
will give you a full breakdown.
Alexa, it's like, hey, Alexa, tell us, blah, blah, blah.
Oh, yeah, that didn't pop up. I couldn't
find that. Let me search the web.
Yeah, Siri and Alexa,
like your first two girlfriends are like, there's much
better after that. They were just practice.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. They've been
so reliable. We'll get
This Apple CEO Tim Cook, he says that Apple could charge users who want to use an upgraded version of SADA because AI requests are too expensive to process.
You know, they say it used a bunch of gallons of water and all of that.
Really?
Yes.
The $3 trillion dollar company is saying something so expensive.
Yeah.
Hey, Tim Cook, why don't you use the money that you're going to end up giving me for like whatever class action lawsuit you have on our privacy and just put that into letting me have Sada upgraded?
Yeah.
Yeah.
For the free.
So basically saying, hey, Sada is available.
And I'm changing her name because I don't want to have her go off.
Activator, yeah.
Sadda is available in that type of all knowing, similar to the new AI chat bots that we know.
But we're not giving it to you unless you pay us.
So like Vick said, it's like the ex-girlfriend.
She's still available.
But you want to upgrade.
You want to go better and better.
No, it's not.
The ex-girlfriend, the ex-girlfriend went to TJ, got some upgrades.
Got her.
But now you got to pay to pray?
Now you got a pay to play.
She got a Siri got a Tijuanazo.
Why do you say?
Her name is Sara.
Stop activating her, pool.
Yes, okay.
She was a Tijuana.
She changed her name now to Sari.
Sada.
See her BBL.
Why?
Sorry.
Okay.
All right.
Well, that was money moves.
In order to get Sada to go and use her smart brain, we're going to have to pay more.
Thanks, Apple.
You got me again.
Because we are getting paid it.
Notting that.
I'm admitting that she sucks right now.
At least that.
She doesn't.
Now she's going to swallow soon.
Upgrader version.
Hey, Scott.
Hello, studios.
What's 9 plus 10?
Turn your line?
Look at this studio.
Food.
All right.
This isn't a study, but it is a debate, and I need to talk to the fellows in here.
Guys, don't make me mad.
I'm sure there's someone that has chivalry in here, right?
Yeah.
Someone?
Me and there.
Both of us.
Gentlemen?
Gentlemen.
Gentlemen.
I open the car door for women.
We're chivalry.
gentleman. Okay. First date. Oh.
Is it a guy's job to pay for the girl's Uber when he can't pick her up on the first date?
Absolutely not. What? Oh. I don't know her. You said chivalrous date. She'll be a serial
killer. I don't know. You could be a serial killer. She doesn't know that. We don't know each other.
We're strangers. Yeah. So you're willing to go on a date with her. Yeah, but I'll send you home in an Uber. I'll pay for that.
That's fine. Yeah. That's a gentleman right there. An Uber to the date.
an Uber to the date.
No.
If you couldn't pick her up.
No.
You agreed to pick her up.
Yeah.
Which is what happened to one user on Instagram
who has told her story
that a man had said,
hey, I'm going to go pick you up,
then couldn't pick her up
and didn't want to pay for the Uber
to get her to the date.
Okay.
Invited on a date,
but he didn't Uber me to the restaurant.
Hate to sound pretentious,
but I can already tell he isn't my type
is what she says.
I don't know about that.
That's like a reach.
That last part's a reach.
That's not my type.
But it's also like...
Yes, because I feel like a gentleman would be like, hey, I know I offer to pick you up and I can't make it.
At least offer to get the Uber.
He already offered.
He had already offered the ride.
Okay.
So it's already going...
He was already going to go grab her.
Okay, okay, okay.
And honestly, you're not going to see her in the Uber.
I barely know you.
So does the Uber driver that's about to pick her up.
True, true.
Okay, yeah, that's a little different.
That's a little different.
I could see that happening,
but I feel like the dude didn't really want to see her that bad, if I'm being honest.
That, that too as well.
He's probably just like 50-50 about her.
If it's a first date, you would go pick her up?
Yeah, you pick her up all the time, and then you think you're being set up and you're not,
but then you go on a good date.
Okay.
Yeah, so it's good.
If you can't, if something happened that you can't.
Because then it's already maybe leading down down.
He won't pay for the Uber.
Is he going to be able to pay for dinner?
Okay, that's a whole different.
If he invited me out.
I'm not paying for Uber to get there.
No, even if I offer to pick you up
and it's like something happens.
Okay, so then I don't think that's the gentleman.
Yes, it is.
I think it's like, let's just cancel the day.
So then what is gentlemen about you, folks?
I was about to say that.
So then what part is gentleman?
Are you paying for the bill?
No, just rescheduling.
Yeah.
Yeah.
But when you go on a first day, are you paying for the bill?
Yeah, 100%.
Pay for the bill.
If she needs a ride home at that point,
drive her home.
You know what I'm saying?
You picked her up, so you do have to take her home.
If you, yeah, if you didn't.
Yeah.
So, yeah, take her home, whatever.
Yeah, like, at that point, you turn to a gentleman.
But before you guys really meet up, like...
So prior to the date, you're not a gentleman.
But you were already going to be a gentleman and pick her up prior to the date.
He's not a real gentleman because he didn't pick her up.
That guy, we can't speak for non-gentleman.
There needs to be a context.
Like, why? Why couldn't he?
He's too busy?
Yeah, like, what?
It's like, if he's that busy, just don't want to date.
Or maybe the spot is somewhere in the middle that if he had went to her crib.
No, it would have, they would have been late to their residence.
There's so many things.
I drove all the way to the IE to L.A. and back.
Yeah, your dates are at 2 in the morning.
No, they're not.
Let's say they were going to Fogo in downtown, right?
And he's in the valley.
She's in the other valley.
For him to drive there, then go to Fogo, it's going to be, they're not going to miss a reservation.
Right?
So I'm just theoretically, they would make sense to be like, hey, I can't go pick you up.
I'll spot you the Uber, though.
Because I already told you I was going to pick you up, but then I got it.
haircut, then I got a car wash, because you guys
also, too, they put in the day of.
Yeah. Of course. So it's like, so
my day got ahead of me, I promised you
I was going to go pick you up, or I told
I was, I can't. So can you Uber?
No, that's whack. He's whack. That's whack again. No, but you
already made a promise, so now I get it.
Like, okay, you already promised, so yes, I'm
expecting that. The least. That guy's
clearly not a gentleman, because he's not
like coming through with his word on the first date. So it's like,
I can't be here. I could understand on his
part where stuff could come up, life could happen.
And it could cause him to not be able to pick her up.
But should something happen, is he required to get her the Uber?
Reschedule.
No.
First date is tough.
Some freaking restaurants, they make you put your cart down in like a deposit for the reservation.
Starting off too high.
Yeah, it started out too high here.
Hold on now.
Yeah.
They don't treat you like that in and out.
Yeah.
All right.
All right.
That was too new.
Let us know what you would do.
Guys, is it the gentleman thing to do to get the girl in Uber?
If you promised to pick her up on the first day and then life got ahead of you, like you didn't plan out your day right, there was traffic or something.
You're just like, hey, just meet me at the restaurant and then I'll Uber you.
Should you be the one to Uber her or should she Uber herself?
That means he doesn't even have a car probably.
He does have a car.
Yeah.
He's whack.
Okay.
But you won't pay for the Uber.
No.
So then you're whack.
How am I what?
Because you're just like him.
No, I'm going to go pick her up from her house.
That's the gentleman thing.
Yes.
Not a weird Uber thing.
Okay, all right.
I didn't know this was going to be such a debate.
Contention.
All right, let's get into sports.
Shoot the J.
Shoot it.
Playball.
All right, you guys.
The next face of the NBA
diss the hell out of Nike.
What?
Okay, look, so Anthony Edwards was in the Philippines
having a great time on.
stage playing some young Gizi.
Same.
Vibing out, right? But then
he decided to choose violence
towards Nike since
he's the face of Adidas and had
the song that had lyrics about Nike
Air Max changed, he decided to remix it
and change the lyrics to dis Nike.
Don't boy 995
A.E's on.
When I'm going Nike, you can sit a
phone. Watch me through a drone.
Hey.
It can't be like me.
Need to make another crowd.
Yeah, so the crowd went crazy for this, and it went viral instantly online.
And now, this is really funny because Nike isn't only a competing shoe brand,
but it's also the jersey supplier for all the teams in the NBA.
So he has to wear Nike jersey and shorts, whether he likes it or not, every day on the court.
I like it, though.
He stands his toe toes down on his side.
Yeah.
Even though, like, low-key, it's a monster of a brand that he's up against.
It is.
It is.
And he's also on Team USA.
and they also make the, you know, the Olympic jerseys.
So Nike wasn't in the rap.
He added Nike to the rap.
It was, well, no, it was AirMax 95s.
And then so he took that part out, the AirMax 95s, and he put 95 AEs.
And then he added the Nike stuff, like dissing them.
Yeah, so Nike wasn't in that part.
No, no, it wasn't.
It wasn't.
But they were referencing Nike AirMax in the beginning of it.
So he decided to switch it all up.
And then this is crazy because, mind you, this is a week after he was seeing shooting a commercial
with a fake Luca Donchich, who's a Nike athlete, fake LeBron.
Yeah.
And he's having them, like, other, like, actors that sort of kind of look like them,
and then, like, having them, like, shoot around and look lame and stuff like that.
Oh, he's all super cool.
To promote, like Adidas?
Yeah, to promote Adidas.
He's trolling and he actually has to see them on the court, so that's going to be nice.
Yes, yes.
Yeah.
So I was cracking up.
I was like, man, A.E. is crazy.
And he's coming at Nike with all the force.
Yeah.
You should do that.
With what?
You just bars, like put our enemies in the bar.
I'm down.
I'm down.
I'm down.
Go, go, go.
Go ahead.
freestyle.
All right, that was Brownback.
Wow.
That was sports.
I'm Rose Pantzvick for Brownback.
Of course he would tuck his tail.
If Greg will go on.
He's a rapper, yeah.
I'm not going to do it.
Just the competition?
Yeah, this competition, you only.
Okay, I'm scared.
I'm scared.
I'm scared.
I'm scared.
I'm scared.
I'll go anywhere.
If it's hip pop,
you know, let these on.
Yeah, go.
Let these set go.
Okay, there's a new rumor that I want to know your thoughts on.
Greg, when is your king's birthday?
October.
Oh, he knows.
October 5th, 6?
I don't know the date.
This is you, man.
October or 12.
One of those days.
You know his man's birthday, brother?
Isn't October 24th?
Yes.
I think it's a 23rd if I'm not a mystery.
Wow.
Sounds.
Yeah.
Anyway.
We're talking about Drake.
Drake's birthday is in late October.
It seems to be the same day that Jay-Z has his tour stop right here in Los Angeles.
Jay-Z is going to be performing and the internets are interneting and they're saying,
hey, do you think that Jay-Z won and did this on purpose, on purpose, made his L.A. show on
Drake's birthday, but also do you think he'll bring out Kendrick Lamar to go at Drake on Drake's birthday?
That makes no sense to do.
It makes no sense.
I'm glad it's Drake hype saying this.
I'm glad it's a Drake fan saying it makes no sense.
Because I also be like, bro, it's not that deep.
Yeah.
Like it's not that deep.
He wasn't like, hey, make sure my L.A. show is on Drake's birthday.
No, it's probably a weekend.
Let's sign up.
Yeah.
I don't want it to sound rude at all against Kendrick.
But if I want to go to a Jay-Z show, I want to see Jay-Z.
I think it'll be a crazy moment.
But I went to a dope Kendrick concert and I enjoyed the hell out of it at SoFi.
I want to do the same for a J-Z show.
Jay Z show.
Yeah.
You know what I'm saying?
I just want to be in that Jay-Z, like, vibe.
Drake's birthday's on a Saturday this year.
See, so it could also be that, Drake Hive.
Yeah.
It could also be that.
By the way, I wouldn't mind Kendra coming out at a Jay-Z show.
That was for sure only Victor.
Victor's thoughts.
Of course, you don't.
That doesn't make sense too.
You don't even want to go see Jay-Z.
I don't.
Exactly.
So you're not involved in this conversation besides the Drake part of it.
You can't even tell him his birthday.
I don't even, what?
Yeah, I wouldn't mind Kendri popping out at all.
For what?
He does rare appearances.
They have the remix to pour up drink.
But what else?
Oh, that's your son.
That's your son.
My son is in here.
It's his last day of summer.
He said that loud and clear.
What did you say, Luis?
What about us?
Yeah, it's not like us.
You know that song?
They're not like us.
They not like us.
Yeah, we're talking about him, Kendrick.
He said what else.
That's what he said.
He doesn't know what he's talking about.
No, he knows.
What's your favorite song?
Who's the?
best rapper right now. What song do you always listen to? I'm thinking. Yeah.
Life goes on. Yes, by who?
Oliver Tree. He loves Oliver Tree. That's his vibe right now, okay?
Life goes on and on and on and on.
Oh, he's so, okay, well, I don't even know what I was talking about rap?
Mostly the rumor is that Jay-Z might bring out Kendrick Lamar during his LA show
just to spite Drake on Drake's birthday, October 24th, which also lands on a Saturday.
I think it's such a reach.
Like when I'm seeing it.
It is, dude. It is.
Very much a reach.
But you know who will be checking what's happening in a Jay Z's concert?
Drake.
Oh, for sure.
On his birthday.
On his birthday.
Oh, my God.
What are they doing?
Jol.
And Angie.
Yes.
I know you love Nelly.
I do.
But you have to give it up with the Air Force ones.
Never.
You have to.
I love Air Force ones too.
Or you need another size.
No, I don't.
We were at the fair over the weekend.
You went to the fair with your man, Marcus.
And what happened with your shoes?
I wore Air Force once.
All right.
And I forgot.
I'm like,
why haven't I worn these in a while?
I'm like,
they look fine.
So I wear them to the fair.
Lettie,
I catch you not like 10 minutes in walking.
I already have blisters.
Yes,
they're not walking shoes.
We're hurting.
Bad.
But they look brand new.
So I'm like,
why is it hurting?
Like I even try to stuff it more with like my socks.
Yeah.
Like folding them and more and more and more.
No,
I can't.
Yeah, for cushion.
But no,
like, dude,
like at some point I was just like,
yeah,
Javali.
And you had?
You had running shoes or in the car
I always had my running shoes in the car
but I was like, no, I want to look cute.
Yeah, they're gonna go with a fit.
In my Air Force.
So I wore them 10 minutes in, yeah, I'm like,
I'm feeling the freaking blisters all over,
front and back.
What?
But when did you buy, like, how old are those shoes?
Not even bad.
They just look good.
They look good.
No, answer the question.
Did you buy them in 2008?
No, like two years ago.
Yeah, those are.
You should not be wearing shoes from two years ago.
Two years ago.
Yeah.
Two years ago when your toenial fell off
because you were wearing Air Forces too tight.
Yeah.
So where were you walking there?
I was walking to go look at the animals at the camels and the zebra.
But where?
At the OCFA.
When you're told.
Again in the Oceph.
No, the other one.
Oh, the other one.
Came up.
Where were you working?
The first time that my toe came out.
Toneil came out.
I was hiking.
In Air Force ones.
Aggie, Tira los Tennis.
No.
She's not using them for the reason that they need to be used.
I know ball up or something, dog.
I was.
I thought I was bowling with the Air Force.
Hiking is crazy.
Hiking in Air Force once?
I didn't know.
Like, okay?
Oh my God.
You learn.
You got to make mistakes to learn.
She's just a girl.
You're making the same ones.
It's funny because Angie scams herself.
Yeah.
I'm like, no, I don't need hiking.
She was like, I'm good with Air Force.
Like, they got grip.
They're sturdy.
They got grip.
They got some grip.
I'm good.
That is insane.
Yeah.
And they happen again at the OC fair.
Yeah.
She was trying to walk like the animals would look like the baby deer.
Oh.
Dude, no, honestly, I was limping, but at some point I was just like, yeah, this is my, this is my life now.
Yeah, I chose this life.
The pictures look cute.
Yeah.
I saw them.
Brown Magmorny's 106 on Instagram, you can see the Air Force is that tore up Angie's.
Yeah.
That's crazy.
You had them kicking in the air.
And see, that's why I loved the Toyota SoCal Lounge there.
Oh, but yes, dude.
Because it's a chill area.
They had an activation at the OC Fair.
You could charge your phone.
You can hang on.
You can look at all the new Toyotas and, like, the different accessories.
I saw the Camry while I was there and I was like oh my god my inner Latina
what this car yeah I think I might get a Camry
it's fly you need a season you know which one I liked a lot the four-runner
really yeah yeah yeah dude the way it's just shape is just very like boxy I want that
and I want to be I want to feel tall yes four runners are like to take them on different
terrain and yeah that's me I want that not your Air Force not your Air Force I've seen the
CHR all electric super dope
Oh, yeah, yeah.
I really like that.
My son, Horito, he went in all the cars.
The one that he liked the most was the tundra, and I was like, yeah, you're going to be one of those kids.
Like, that's in a big old truck.
Oh, yeah.
And by the way, shout out to Toyota, SoCal, because they have a bunch of different giveaways going on.
One thing that I learned is, like, they had a kayak on one part.
They had, like, an accessory that you add to your truck that's, like, a tent on top of it.
They had a canopy accessory.
I think they're giving all of those away.
Yeah, they are, too.
Nice.
You can sign up.
Everything that you saw as an accessory piece, if you went to the OC Fair on the cars at Toyota SoCal on Instagram, they are doing a giveaway for those.
And make sure you follow them, period, because they always have stuff going on and you can go check them out in their activations.
Get your phone charged, chill in the shade, all of that.
Rest, all that.
Nice.
Breast?
Rest.
Oh.
Angie, never mind.
You're doing amazing, sweetie.
It was my brain.
It's a Monday.
While I was at the OC Fair, I went with my son, Jorge.
So he's the little daredevil.
He loves to go on the rides.
But I was like, dang, this is such a cute little date thing.
Me and Jorge got pregnant really quick, like after dating.
Yeah.
And I'm like, I wish we had more time to date and go on these dates.
Yeah.
You know what I'm saying?
Yeah.
And then I don't know why I thought of you, Greg.
I'm like, he must love bringing girls here.
Oh, I do.
I love it.
It's like a good atmosphere.
All around, I just see lovebirds.
Yeah.
Greg has a tradition.
He takes a new girl every year.
It's a tradition.
Yeah, he's a tradition.
Oh, you do, because he has a little photo strip with a different girl.
Yeah, he's a whole collection, yeah.
I forgot about that.
He's like four or five years strong, maybe.
Something like that.
Well, no, last year I took him by myself because I had no girl.
Okay.
And then this year you took someone else's girl.
It's really crazy.
Yeah.
That's true.
