Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey, don't make your life harder than it needs to be. You really want to type Bratback mornings every single time? Nah, just hit the subscribe button, Perrito. Do it. Go! What's up? This is Be Real from Cypress Hill. Where are you from, Es? Don't you know I'm local? I know it's hard to believe with this weather, but Halloween is around the corner, my friends. Yes.
Starting point is 00:00:20 And if you already started buying candy, Mm-hmm. If you want to know what the kids are loving this holiday season, there is now a list Instagram put together. The top 10. According to Californians, okay? What I think is funny is that the number one candy that the Californians that us say that we love isn't the one we buy the most. Okay.
Starting point is 00:00:41 So we're kind of lying a little bit. We're saying we love one, but we're spending money on another one. Oh. It's our sneaky candy. Which do you want to guess first, the one we say we like the most? I would have to say Kit Kat. KKat? KKat's number six, my friend.
Starting point is 00:00:54 Six? Number six. Okay, all right. I've always been a kisses kind of girl, but kisses isn't in here. At all? No. What about Twix in the mix? Twix is number 10, my friend.
Starting point is 00:01:04 Oh, wow. Snickers. Snickers. Kind of low. Snickers is five. Wow. I don't like that. I don't like those.
Starting point is 00:01:12 Y'all are. We talk about this every year that every, the bomb house has these. Oh, yeah. Bomb house. Reeses. Reeses. I love Reese's peanut buttercups. I remember taking the boys, trick-treating, and like a house would make sure only a kid got the Reese's because people would come up, adult.
Starting point is 00:01:29 try to grab some like one per person. Yeah, one per child. Yeah, on the recess. Have you ever got the big cup ones? The big cup. Big cup. They're like big. I've never seen that in my life.
Starting point is 00:01:38 No? The King Cup. Yeah. Yeah. You've had them? The King Cup one? Yeah. Aren't you allergic to peanuts?
Starting point is 00:01:45 Yeah. I'll worse my life for a recess. That's how good it is. I thought I love them. That's an ad right there. Releck's that big. Yeah, well, they're like giving a contract for real. They'll have molet up to the kids.
Starting point is 00:01:58 They're good. It's a Reese's cup and an epipen right now. Yeah, it's got. Hey, but check this. While Californians like Reese's peanut butter cups, Instacart found that they actually purchased what candy the most. Masapan, homie. No.
Starting point is 00:02:17 Eminemes. Yeah, the yellow. I feel like you're never going to get it. I wish I could bet on Cal sheet. Tucci will get it. No. And then you're not. Let's do 10 guesses.
Starting point is 00:02:27 That's three already. Corn? Candy corn. 100 grand chocolate no Brimusketeers no Morse Oreos considered Carlos Quintos Zaba bar
Starting point is 00:02:36 Dang you guys only like 10 bucks each down Angie can you make a good guess I'm trying to think the name of it It's the one with the lollipop The how many legs can you get inside Tutsi pop? No there's a Titi Roooo? I think we're already at 10 All right what is it? You ready?
Starting point is 00:02:50 Gummy bears What? Haribu Gold bears I've never had Jimmy Bears during Halloween Get purchased the most but you probably bought them to give out Never It's because they're little. They come great, like little packs already.
Starting point is 00:03:01 Yeah, yeah, yeah. Like serve packs, and they're not as expensive as if you were to buy a box of Reese's. Yeah, chocolate's usually expensive. So those are the ones that we buy the most. Shout to us. Wow. Mm-hmm. Reesies and gummy bears, huh?
Starting point is 00:03:13 Reeses and gummy bears. Yeah. This Halloween season, those are the candies to get. Not candy corn, right? No, it's disgusting. Bacala. Ask this one. You like candy corn?
Starting point is 00:03:25 I like candy. There's no problem with candy corn. You know, they're tripping. Nice. Always. So, come here? Now what's going on?
Starting point is 00:03:33 Damn! She's Mation with Angie. Okay, you guys, actress Hayden Penance here, known from the show Nashville. And remember the Titans as a little girl? She passed away back in August, right? But what's crazy, letty. There's more and more drama coming out
Starting point is 00:03:49 because Homegirl had like a engagement ring that was given to her by her ex-veeonshire and baby daddy, the boxing champion Klitschko? Klitschko Yeah, it's Russia So that engagement
Starting point is 00:04:02 Yeah, the number of what? Dude, that engagement ring that he gave her is missing And it's... Bro, her ex-boyfriend freaking did it. Oh yeah, easy. I don't mean to speculate
Starting point is 00:04:14 but that fool was we're her the past few days The last few days of her life. No, you're right because even friends and family are saying, you know what? Someone that was with her the last couple of days
Starting point is 00:04:23 must have taken it and ponded because there's no way they cannot find it and they knew that she would hold it she would always have it yeah she's not even with that guy
Starting point is 00:04:32 and she kept the ring bro and that dude's like a junkie and what do junkies do go to the pawn shop you know what I'm saying only a clean would would do that
Starting point is 00:04:40 like not care that this girl passed away and then used that ring and also if you're ex man her boyfriend her ex-boyfriend that she was with on and off
Starting point is 00:04:47 you'll probably be pissed that she's still wearing the engagement ring from her ex and double pissed that Klitchco is a boxer and can
Starting point is 00:04:55 can do nothing to you. Yeah, you know what I'm saying? But no, but that ring was, it's worth half a million dollars. $500,000. He took, oh. He probably got 15 grand. I know at the pot, down at the poncha? He probably got 15 grand, dog.
Starting point is 00:05:10 Like him and his brother were there. Again, not to speculate, but let's try. Just in just in theory. His, him and his brother were the young people there when he didn't pass away, right? What if it was something like, I'm going to get some bread for this and I'll cut you out. Some just, shh. Wow. Because the brother looks stressed.
Starting point is 00:05:25 Like, I don't want to be a part of this, but I kind of have to know. Oh, yeah, for sure. I don't know. Crazy. 7.5, 10.5. This has to be an episode of Dateline or something. It has to be. Bro, they're still walking around.
Starting point is 00:05:37 They're fighting at bars still. Yeah, like nothing. Oh, my God. I'd like to see them get in the ring with Klitsko and his brother, both of them against them. Two men? Yeah. There's a dog. That's the sound of the police.
Starting point is 00:05:50 The petty police. You're petty. You're petty. You're just petty. I'm being petty. Petty, petty girl. Pretty and a piteous. Pretty pettiest. Be careful when you shade Rihanna,
Starting point is 00:06:01 because whatever you shade her about comes back to you like 5,000 times tenfold. E.J. Johnson, the son of Magic Johnson, learned the hard way. So E.J. was over at Paris Fashion Week, as was Rihanna. And he did a vlog about his day in the life, right? He made a little slack remark
Starting point is 00:06:17 about Rihanna being late to one of the fashion shows. Listen. I saw the Dior show. Getting out of there was crazy, but like the show itself was beautiful. It did start an hour late because Rihanna was late and you know like we didn't care to wait for her but the show was beautiful nonetheless Yeah there's no reason for that she felt needed to like a fast break there Tell me why just hours later he was trying to get into his hotel room and he was stopped from hotel staff from going into the hotel
Starting point is 00:06:44 He was a patron of and Different blog sites started posting it on Instagram the Hollywood Fix posted it and Rihanna just commented Damn. Like, Wow. It's just like, you talk, it's about someone in that same person
Starting point is 00:07:01 is right there in the comments when something bad happens to you. Rihanna has the best clapbacks of all time. Yes. And this time it was just so simple. Just damn. One word.
Starting point is 00:07:11 And we know what that meant. Yeah. You know. Just like, ha, you can't get in. You can't even get in. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. But yes, that also tells me
Starting point is 00:07:19 that she definitely follows the gossip pages. Oh, yeah, the vlog. Oh, she's watched for sure. Just sometimes I feel like. they're too busy with their life, but then seeing this response so quickly. Yeah. One, she heard that full was talking smack.
Starting point is 00:07:31 Two, then she saw this on the page and was like, ooh, let me just hit my little. Or she maybe doesn't keep up with the pages, but her friends do. Someone does. Someone like, girl, girl, look at this. And then guess what? He didn't get in his hotel room.
Starting point is 00:07:43 And embarrassing. Look at these queen right over here. Go leave a petty comment. Go read. All right, that was Petty Police. Let's get into some of scrolling. Scrolling with zombies. Gen Z is out here making stuff all about them again,
Starting point is 00:07:58 just ruining traditions that should not be messed with. They are the main character. Oh, yeah, apparently they're the main character that they want to switch up this one tradition. If I were to ask you guys, what's the most popular tattoo every girl had in the 2000s? What would it be? Two-thram stamp.
Starting point is 00:08:14 Yeah, I think you've got to go to the 90s or that one. There's early 2000s on this one? Early 2000s? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Barb wire? Barbed wire. He's asking about, like, where. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:26 Where on the arm? On the arm. On the arm. Bar buying on the arm. Classic. Nope. Vic, you were right on the dot. Tram stamp. The Tram stamp.
Starting point is 00:08:34 The thing is that, Gen Z, they don't like this name at all. They're like, we're not going to call her a trams. Yeah, dude. I personally like it. When I hear. You like the name? When I hear a trams stamp, I'm like. It's a lower back tattoo, okay?
Starting point is 00:08:43 Yeah. It's a lumbar. It's a lumbar. She got experience. She knows how to throw it down and she got a tram. That's all I got it. Bro. You were tricking with Justin Bieber concert tickets.
Starting point is 00:08:52 Don't tell me about, oh, yeah, she's a tramp stamp. Oh, yeah, she can get it. Trams are hot. I love girls with a Tram stamp. But if you see a girl with a Tram Stamp now, don't call it a Tram Stap because Gen Z, they're deciding to call it a cake topper. Oh, that's so cute.
Starting point is 00:09:07 That is the new name for Tram Stamps. What you guys knew as Tram Stamps, they're calling cake toppers. Yep. Anybody like, nobody likes it? Yeah, I think it's very cute. I don't know what you want to call it. I got the frosting, you feel me? Oh.
Starting point is 00:09:27 Welcome to Monday mornings on. Good morning. Good morning. Good morning, everybody. Wake your ass up. What did you take? Look at a piece of that. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:09:43 I'm like in the traditional, you know, tram stamp. Like I said, if you hear tram stamp, I'm like, it's classic, but it makes girls not want to get it because it's like. It's derogatory, right? But cake topper is like cute and fun. It's true. It low-key takes the power back for the girl. Like it's something cute that she wants versus what y'all are calling it. And that makes her feel a certain way.
Starting point is 00:10:03 Okay. Because if you tell a girl she has a tramp step, she won't feel good about herself. No, no, she'd be hiding it. Yeah. But if you say, if she says, I got a cake topper, that's her thing. She better make sure she got a cake, though. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, that's true.
Starting point is 00:10:17 No pancakes, man. No pancake toppers, man. Just so you know, these schools are all fine. Brad Pitt look alike. So they can for sure say whatever they want about a female's body. Yeah. Yeah. You're the flan topper.
Starting point is 00:10:31 Flan topper. Flupa topper. That's always the fools with a beerbellie. I can't have a fupo. They all have a fool. It's a fupon. That's what you're like. Fulpon's on.
Starting point is 00:10:45 Girls, get whatever you want. Don't let a guy tell you. Yeah. What you want. Breast let's just cake topper. There you go on now. That was scrolling. Let's get to the weather.
Starting point is 00:10:55 We're called Crotto. And now, the weather. Oh, hell the dog. With concrete storm. Perritos, it is going now for the weather Monday, October 5th. First, we can't believe it's Monday on my way to Landell. Real talk. Is it too ready for a cocktail, Perritos?
Starting point is 00:11:11 Yes. Is it? Yes. I can't throw it up. 93 degrees and 72 degrees at night. Next, we hop into DeLoreen and hit the city of Watts. I needed to hit 1.2 gigawatts. Great.
Starting point is 00:11:22 Letty, 98 degrees and 75 degrees at night. Now we're smashing the whippers to the city of Los Alamitos. Listen to Brownback mornings with Leti and so some amigitos. 98 degrees and 74 degrees at night. And lastly, we hit the great city of Peru where it's okay to wear blue. You're going to be all right, fool. 96 degrees. Are you sure?
Starting point is 00:11:41 Are you sure? I'm positive. I'm positive, Perito. Trust me. Go all, blew it out right there, homie. Sources, trust me. Sources. It's all right.
Starting point is 00:11:54 Extreme heat weather, but it's going down. These conditions are expected to last until 8 p.m. Thursday. So find your local cooling centers call 211 or just go to Walmart or Target and just or a mall and just sitting there.
Starting point is 00:12:08 The library. The library? It's boring. It's AC in there. Yeah. You can't even talk. You get free internet. But you can't talk.
Starting point is 00:12:17 You can't talk. It's just really low. Go read a book. Mondale, 93 degrees and 72 degrees at night. Watts, 98 and 75, Los Alamitos, a 98 and 74 degrees. And Pairoo, 96 and 71 degrees. But it's your boy concrete from Bob McMorner's on Power 106. Let's go.
Starting point is 00:12:34 There we go. Bro, it's been feeling like a hundred. It's not even the 90s is tripping me out. Yeah. He's careful out there. Even getting here at 5 a.m. It's hot as hell. Yeah, man.
Starting point is 00:12:44 I'm sweating, taking a shower. The humidity man was getting the gooch man. It was wet. What? Is it too early? It's so early. No, keep going. Right?
Starting point is 00:12:56 Let's do this, man. Let's go, man. Go to Pai Rue, wear blue. Okay, you have to explain that a little bit. The city of Pai Roo. The city of Pai Roo. It's okay there. You'll be all right.
Starting point is 00:13:04 You can wear all the blue you want. And you checked? Yeah, man, I clip all up in there, man. Oh, no. You promise? Where is it? Oh, no. It's in Pairo.
Starting point is 00:13:14 You go. Just go, dog. Just put it on your Google and maps and go there. Just head out there. What's a word. We should. We should do a meeting reed. For a while.
Starting point is 00:13:22 Let's see what we find. For a whole. Everybody. All right, check this out, homie. You need a homie or need some help. We need your hair. We need a line. I mean, phone line.
Starting point is 00:13:35 We got you for the homie help line. All right. We know teen drinking is very bad. Is it? It is very bad. But what about, you cut the reference, brother. Thank you. But what about teen dating?
Starting point is 00:13:50 That's what going on with Ariana. She hit us up and said, hey, brown bag, my name is Ariana, and I'm a mom with a teenage son who has a girlfriend that I think is way too bougie. Halloween is coming up, and she's been sending him Pinterest photos of the exact spooky baskets that she wants. Her list, a Stanley Cup, three squish mellows, a Starbucks gift card, makeup, candy, and a bunch of little Halloween decorations. My son showed me the messages and said, Mom, this is normal. All girls expect this now. The problem is, I'm worried he's being used. He's a teenager, doesn't have much money, and I don't want him feeling like he has to spend hundreds of dollars just to keep his girlfriend happy. When I told him he doesn't have to buy any of it, he said, then she'll think I don't care about her. Now I'm stuck. Do I forbid my son from dating her because I think she's taking advantage of him? Or do I stay out of it and let him learn the hard way. And seriously, is this what teenage dating looks like now? Or is my son's girlfriend doing way too much?
Starting point is 00:15:00 Let him learn. Way too much. What? It's inflation, dog. Why not just ask for the $1,000 outright? What did you say? Stanley, Squish mellows, Starbucks. Give her.
Starting point is 00:15:12 That's a lot of money. That's her love language. It's the thought of it. Yes, it's the thought of the gift. If you can't handle it, what'd you say? Pass the controller. Yes. I step by yaw, man.
Starting point is 00:15:21 That's what Vick said? Pass the control. It's an expression. It is. I don't know, but he's looked at you and you said, if you can't afford it, man, sorry, man. You know, I get it.
Starting point is 00:15:31 Love is love, and when you're that young, you want to do anything and everything to get that love. But also, man, you know, Toots cost money too. Toots? I don't know what you mean.
Starting point is 00:15:45 What is that mean? What is that mean? Oh my God, what that? We're talking about teenage. I know, but what I'm saying is that just because you give somebody stuff doesn't mean they love you.
Starting point is 00:15:55 Or they're gonna love you. I don't know. It's not wrong. We'll wait for your advice in a little bit. This is the old advice. Hey, me home. You're all type out. Don't just don't go anywhere.
Starting point is 00:16:07 Don't go anywhere. Don't do what I did. Don't do what I did. Don't do what I did. Well, you know what I feel for, I feel for parents of teens right now that are dating because you got a lot of it social media.
Starting point is 00:16:18 It is heavy. and if she got a Ramabuchon, I want a Ramabuchon. A better one. If she got like a proposed to a certain way, it has to be bigger, better, all of that. So I'm assuming the same goes with the spooky buses. We didn't have that as cool.
Starting point is 00:16:33 We did it. We had like candy grams and stuff. Candy gram, a dollar. And Loki, you wanted the most. You wanted your man to like to give you one during class or like them to be like, hey, you got a candy gram or whatever. And now I'm guessing that's a spooky basket vibe. You're so right.
Starting point is 00:16:48 You know what I'm saying? It's just to show up. in front of your friends you guys were asking like four locals and mds instead of Stanley Cups four locals way after my time that was me that was yeah four locals uh all that stuff and now it's Stanley Cups and what did you say switch me well that's good yeah it's a good thing yeah it's a good yeah the expectations are super high back then like I mean now back then it really used to be a mcchicken and that was good like you got a mcchicken we're good we got some fries I like now you're doing the most you know what I'm saying at this point it's like you couldn't need all that
Starting point is 00:17:19 But I think it's just a thought. Getting the Stanley Cup, getting the Halloween vibes there. It's the dude doing that little effort for her. But the problem here is that it's not his bread. It's mom's bread and his bread. Okay, see, that's different. Make them work for it. Clean the house.
Starting point is 00:17:34 Do the long. I think she doesn't even want to have him in that relationship. He's seeing like, dang, this little girl is like running you up. She's hating. Like, I don't want this for you. I don't want you to be used so early. Got to let them learn. life.
Starting point is 00:17:48 Let them learn. That is a good thing. What? Well, yeah, yeah, yeah. Let them learn early. Character development. And then I'm also wondering if the girl does stuff for him back, like makes him spooky baskets and stuff like that or like shows her, her, I guess, part of that relationship.
Starting point is 00:18:06 Doesn't sound like it. Well, we don't know. Yeah, we got to ask for nothing. You know what I'm saying? He's just like, love me. Y'all don't want spooky bag. Imagine it. All he wants is love.
Starting point is 00:18:14 All he wants is love. You know what I'm saying? baskets like spooky baskets yeah for a dude of course I want one I was hating the other day because my mom mentioned so for my nieces I was like I wasn't even a thing we weren't doing that it wasn't it wasn't a thing you're right like let he said it was it's social media now they want to do everything for something yeah just go to school yeah it's true it's partly like we can look at it above because we've been through that and like we didn't have that it's their life you can tell a kid a teen right now oh don't care about social media it's not even
Starting point is 00:18:46 But it's their life. It's everyday. They can't escape it. Everyone's on social media at school. And then it's just the vibe of, I guess, that era, that generation. So she's just wondering like, dude, is my son being taken advantage of or is this really what dating looks like? And we need to hear from you.
Starting point is 00:19:04 Especially parents of teens that are going through it right now, too. Like you've seen how much bed someone has to put up for their like relationship in high school. That might not even last forever. At all. At all? It won't. It won't. I know.
Starting point is 00:19:17 That's what I'm saying. Because we're going to get the ones that were like, like we were together since kindergarten. Is it one of the soccer players been with his girl forever? That's crazy. Is it messy? It's one of them. I think it is messy. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:30 Yeah. She locked them down. People liked you guys in high school? Ah. Don't lie, fool. The ugly's ugly. You know you had girls buying seven-ups and stuff? I didn't.
Starting point is 00:19:38 Don't lie. I wasn't even at school. I was just at the kickbacks? Did you? Insane. True. You want to see Khan? Go to the kickback.
Starting point is 00:19:49 The flight thing used to be if, like, girls bought you stuff. That used to be the flight thing back in. I was that guy, you know me? That was that guy. It was all the where my hug got girls. I was like, right here, baby, come here. What? What did they buy you?
Starting point is 00:20:01 What did they buy you? Pizza bagels. Nice. Subway. When I, at Kennedy, we had subway. I would ask for Subway. Oh, you would ask for you? And it was all the less fortunate-looking girls that would buy me stuff.
Starting point is 00:20:15 because I would gas them up. That's less fortunate. Damn, somebody looks all fine today. Damn, Patricia. Can you have you in Chalupa? Damn. Looking good over there, Olga. Damn, Olga, tas me good now, damn, fool.
Starting point is 00:20:32 That's some of the funniest. So she would give you her last two dollars? All the less fortunate girls. I would gas them all. So sad. You're horrible. So sad. I remember I bought my boyfriend a chain.
Starting point is 00:20:41 That was the thing, like, to buy them in the chain or like the dog chains. Oh, the Army one. Yeah, yeah, yeah, that one. The dog chain one? Yeah. With our names on it. That was a thing.
Starting point is 00:20:49 You knew he was a perron. I should have. I tagged him myself. I tagged my dang self. Now what is it like for dating in this day and age when you have teens, all right? Let us know. And we got Anthony and Rosemede. Anthony.
Starting point is 00:21:07 What's up, Anthony? What's up, Anthony? Anthony, can you make, do me a favor? Put me right to your earbrother. Take me off speaker and Bluetooth. Please. Yeah, I got you. All right.
Starting point is 00:21:17 Talk to us, Anthony. What you got to say to Ariana? So I have a son who's 17 right now in high school, my senior in high school. He does have his own little side hustle. He has actually pretty good. He's got a little set up in the back where he cut his barber's hair. He's got money, you know? So he does a little side hustle and does that.
Starting point is 00:21:37 But he does, he's kind of boozy himself and his girlfriend. They've been together since like sophomore year. So they've been together a long time, They both do, like, kind of boozy stuff. And I tell him all the time that me and my wife are not like that. We got money, but we don't act like, you know, we don't express it like that. So I told him, whatever you do now, it's going to end up carrying on for later on in life. If you guys are continuing with this lifestyle, then she's going to expect that's your thing as you guys get older.
Starting point is 00:22:03 So I said, as long as you're okay with that, then, you know, you can live your life that way, but I'm just letting you know that that's the way it is. But these boo baskets and stuff like that is stuff that I didn't hear about, and I didn't know about from before, but to be naked, like, for an adult version, I never knew about this either, but my wife, we just had a baby on September 11th. Congrats. Oh, congrats. Yeah, so, but I never heard of a push present.
Starting point is 00:22:28 Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. That's pretty new, too. They keep inventing things, brother. They're saying there's more gifts and gifts coming out. They just keep inventing things. Yeah, like, here you are giving your son advice. You know, me and your mom don't give presents, and your mom's always like, yeah, but I want one. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:22:42 Forget telling him to be like us. You'll be like him. Yeah. A push gift. You got the baby already. What do you mean? Oh, no. Oh, no.
Starting point is 00:22:50 That is your present. Exactly. Look, there's a bow on it and everything. From the Lord. KPWRFM, HD1, Los Angeles, Power 106. L.A. is number one for hip-hop. Yes, we're talking about teen dating and how expensive it can get for the teen and the parent.
Starting point is 00:23:04 Yep. Let's go to Jocelyn in Anaheim. What's up, Jocelyn? Hi, good morning. Good morning. Good morning. I hear your son. might have a boozy girlfriend on
Starting point is 00:23:14 your hands. Yes. Talk about it. Well, beginning of Jose 8th grade, he got together with this girlfriend
Starting point is 00:23:23 we met when there is she's a nice girl. Here comes the drama. I like it. No, she's setting it up perfectly. She's a nice girl. They've been together a long time. Not a long time,
Starting point is 00:23:37 but I mean, they know each other. She's great. Yeah. It's great. Okay. So right now they're ninth grade. Okay. And Christmas came around and I was like, okay, well, he asked me to take me to the mom.
Starting point is 00:23:52 I'm like, okay. So we ended up going. He did talk to me about getting her a promise ring. And I'm like, hey, where are you? Thanks to you. So when he told me Pandora, I was like, excuse me? Hey. Vives, vibes.
Starting point is 00:24:12 Pandora. They don't know that was. Yeah. Yeah, they're good. No, they have, they have some reasonable prices. It starts a reasonable. Yeah, they do. Yeah, they do.
Starting point is 00:24:19 Yeah, they do. So. Clare's, Ben. Gora Don Roberto's. Yeah, he didn't want to. He's good at Clare's now. He knows, his little kid knows. So I took them, and obviously he didn't pick.
Starting point is 00:24:33 He picked a nice ring. And he ended up, he ended up picking a boo basket, a Christmas. What is it, a winter basket? So. There's a winter basket now? Yeah. Oh, my gosh. That was for Christmas.
Starting point is 00:24:46 Who's the men of these things? It's a stocky. It's winter basket. Let him. He's romantic. Okay. And then? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:53 So he ended up getting here. So I told him, okay, that's fine, I guess. You know, but he ended up wasting his money. Oh, yeah. Okay. Is this his money that he makes through working? He, he's a good save. No, he saves money.
Starting point is 00:25:06 He doesn't work. He's a soccer player. He plays soccer. So he's really busy during the weekend. So when you guys give him money or family gives him money, he saves it. Yes, he saves it. Okay, that's on him. So he saves it.
Starting point is 00:25:17 So that's his money. You know, I can't tell him anything. Save your money. That's his money. So I ended up taking him and I was on the side. I was like, oh, my God. What am I doing? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:28 But that's him, you know, that's his money. So he ended up getting here at the ring. He ended up getting matching pajamas for both of them. How much money did you say? Well, he used a good saver. Um, for, for school. Yeah. Because she ended up buying that was Christmas.
Starting point is 00:25:48 And then now homecoming is coming. So he needs to propose to her. So now he's going to get her something. Proposal? Proposal. Yeah. And you're watching all of this happen. And remember when you're like, she's a really nice girl.
Starting point is 00:26:04 Sometimes you're like, dude, you're doing a lot, my son. Then Christmas and then January. I know. And I do tell them like, hey, you know, you're doing it too much, don't you think he's like, oh my God, you know how teenagers are. Yes. Stay on the law, Mom.
Starting point is 00:26:18 You don't know that, you don't know. You don't know. We're going to be together forever to be all over the wrinkly, Mom. We watch anime together, Mom. Leave me alone. Damn. But you know what it is? I think, and like you guys were saying,
Starting point is 00:26:30 it's a thing. And now in school, everybody gets a boot basket. Everybody from the boyfriend gets something. And they see that, you know, they see that. And they want that. Yeah, that's true. I feel it. I feel it.
Starting point is 00:26:41 It's just you kind of got to step back. You kind of got to let them do their thing. And Loki, you want that you want to know that your son is romantic or like that later on in life. Like he's going to treat a girl really good. That's good. That's good. That's good. That's like a good quality in a dude because then later you're going to have a girl who are like, you don't do this for me.
Starting point is 00:26:59 Or you don't take your... You're not romantic. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. No, I get it. I'm just saying he's doing all this being romantic, but does he know if she's going to cook for him? Does she know if he's going to do these things? Oh, my God. Great.
Starting point is 00:27:10 You feel me, he's spending money? That's a nice grade. It's okay if it's high school because he's spending money. Like, what are you? No, but you don't know. Maybe in high school she's fine. And if I didn't smell so good, would you still hug me? You know what?
Starting point is 00:27:25 Smog gross. When your daughter's in high school and a guy's like, oh, yeah, are you going to cook for me? But she's homeschooled, yeah. No, but you guys see it? Do you see that? Imagine someone asked your little daughter that. Are you going to cook for me? Are you going to be like, bro, chill out.
Starting point is 00:27:40 Say no. See? See? Because you don't need nobody. Oh, you only need that. You only need that. Be there forever. How quickly it switches.
Starting point is 00:27:48 Like, yeah, you got to think. You got to think you don't want that for your daughter either. Big shot, Liz. You want your daughter to be treated like a princess that she is? I've been doing that already. Yeah, but another guy has to. There's not going to be another guy. No other guy.
Starting point is 00:28:03 Okay. McKenzie, McKenzie and Simi Valley. What's on, McKenzie? Good morning. Good morning. How are you guys? Amazing. Mackenzie, we're talking about
Starting point is 00:28:12 a senior teen date and how much money is costing and it didn't wasn't like this back in the day, but it is now. How do you see things? Okay, so this is, I'm going to chime at my nephew who lived with me for about a year before he left for the Navy.
Starting point is 00:28:28 He has a girlfriend that he has been with for a few years and she's great just like the other one was saying. She's nice. She's nice. You know, but, you know, She's cool when she comes over.
Starting point is 00:28:42 You know, I have two younger daughters, and she plays with them, and she's interactive. So, like, she's cool. You know, she mingles. She's not, like, just, like, hiding with him in his room and stuff. So she's cool. But, you know, she does expect a lot. Like, and he's already a good boy. He was raised really respectful.
Starting point is 00:28:54 He opens the doors for her, even for his grandma, for any woman around. Like, he buys her flowers random just because he can. He'll even ride his bike to, you know, to Trader Joe's to get her favorite kind that only they have and take him to school. Wow. Are they the peonies? Trader Joe's has really. You know it. You know which ones I'm talking about.
Starting point is 00:29:12 Oh, girl. I'm all trying to be code word, so I don't get figured it out. So, and then, so, like, he also, she takes the bus and she lives on the other town, like, home. Her mom doesn't get off or whatever, you know, driving yet. So he will take the bus with her all the way to her house and all the way back home after he drops off to, you know, home. Like, he's a really good boy. And he didn't, like, promposa. Well, he had been having, like, a little job in high school.
Starting point is 00:29:36 You know, you can get, like, the workers permit. And, you know, he made just, like, a little bit of money. He would literally go to work. work before or before school because you know in high school up senior year you know you don't always have all your classes and he would go then go to school and he would buy her whatever she wanted food everything like he spent his allowance on her all kinds of stuff and then um you know prom prom came around and he was a little tight and he she threw a fit because he didn't you know do a prom pose a lot of what happens you see what happens you see my local he's good all the time and the one
Starting point is 00:30:05 time he you know just didn't really have it like that you know she was like you know and you didn't think of it yourself so now it doesn't even really matter and do I even want to blah-b-b-b-b-b-h. Get it out of there. Get it out of there. So what happens? Yeah. So it was kind of like, it was kind of like, ugh, you know? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:19 Like, because, and she does write, I see it around. Like, she does write him cute little letters, like, and give him, like, sweet little things. Like, they definitely have, like, a little, like, cute thing going on. But, like, if it doesn't, you know, if they don't have it, like, if you really love somebody, you don't make them feel bad, especially when they spoil you all the time. I think that's, like, you know, and the things that she does for him doesn't really cost money. like she's writing him cute little notes and stuff like which is sweet i actually which could go back to that you know like writing letters and stuff like that was really cute but
Starting point is 00:30:46 i don't know i just it gave me the egg for sure and then she was super late to get there like you know she's just like pouty like acting like she doesn't even want to be there like it was just you know what i mean it's that like like lack of appreciation part that yeah yeah and it's kind of like the dad was talking about it's like a good standard like he set for himself for her to expect that and it's like you hopefully you have a good one where you know if times are tough and you can't that they still know your love like that's just i don't know because he's a good boy so it's just like oh so is he good are we gonna make him dump her what's up he's in the navy you know what he yeah you can't do it's nice school anymore you could try these kids are these are
Starting point is 00:31:24 they're army strong for these relationships and they can be so toxic the things that i'm seeing it's it's crazy even my nine-year-old but they're luckily she's got her head on pretty straight but there's some crazy you know even the younger class below them and yeah she even her she's like i need a Stanley. She wants to get her nails done. She, you know, she wants all the latest. Like, it's crazy. These kids, really, the social media is a big thing because they're just, they're just seeing it like, it doesn't
Starting point is 00:31:49 cost money, you know? Yeah. It's crazy. Crazy. Yeah, definitely. Well, good luck to him. He is for sure. He's not. He loves her. He loves her. Send her back to where she came from. Power 106, number one for hip-hop and Compton.
Starting point is 00:32:04 Shout us to all the people in Compton. All right. We are talking about our homegirl, Ariana, she has a son. Well, see, Ariana, it could be worse. She has a son that has a girlfriend that's asking for a boo basket and wants a Stanley, wants makeup, wants this time and third. And she's like, dude, is she just gold digging for my kid that has no gold? So it's me that has to pay up.
Starting point is 00:32:26 Should I forbid him to date her? Or should I just let him learn? You know, let him learn. I guess let him express that, that part of himself out. Exactly. That he's a giver. Yeah, canon event. Just learn.
Starting point is 00:32:38 Something good could happen or something bad can happen. So a canon event. So a canon event is something that happens in your life that's just like it's considered a kind of because it's like a picture. And it's like you look at a canon photo. Like the canon photo. Like I'm thinking like a pooh. Me too.
Starting point is 00:32:50 I was waiting for that. So it's like in that moment, it's either a good picture or a bad picture. And you'll always remember that picture. Okay, correct. Come on now with the wisdom. Come on now. All right. You saw that in Spider-Man.
Starting point is 00:33:03 Right? That's what all the, is it. Is it not Spider-Man? Hey, wherever you learn. as long as you learn, Victor. All right, let's go to, is this, Yuvia in Long Beach. Yuvia. Juvia.
Starting point is 00:33:17 I love you, Andy. All right, Yuvia. Hey. Hello. You got the bougie daughter, Yuvia? Hi. Oh, she's laughing right now. I love you.
Starting point is 00:33:29 We listen to you guys every morning. Oh, thank you. Before you judge us, we love you. Oh, man. Yes, we all love you. I have two daughters. And yes, I have a 17-year-old daughter. She's a little boozy.
Starting point is 00:33:47 She's mad because I called you guys. Okay. Do they have boyfriends and do they expect a lot from their boyfriends? Our youngest is that does I have a boyfriend. She's only 13, but Audrey, our oldest, this is her first boyfriend. She wasn't allowed to date until recently. Oh, so this is her first boyfriend. you know about.
Starting point is 00:34:08 Love it. No, no, no. Don't say that. Okay, what does she ask of him? Does she want the boo basket too? Bro. Yes, she's always asking for baskets and stuff, but she's not specific. She'll just say, like, certain things or...
Starting point is 00:34:25 Now, what are you expecting you know? Trips right now. Right now, they're talking about a Disney trip. Girl, what? That's expensive. That's so expensive. What have you gotten your boot baskets before? Ask her.
Starting point is 00:34:42 She's actually here, but you guys want to ask her. Don't ask for nothing you can't get yourself. Okay, hi. Okay, hi. Good morning. I think it's okay to ask for things. Yeah. I don't ask for it.
Starting point is 00:34:56 He's just very giving. Aw. That's kind. Boyfriend. That's sweet. What has he bought for you? He's actually got me a lot of stuff. I think so far since we've been dating.
Starting point is 00:35:07 He's got me like three or four baskets. But like we were talking for a long time. And then we started dating in June. What's in the basket? He's got me like a Pandora ring. Like my birthday just passed. He got me a necklace to match my promise ring. And then they're both from Pandora.
Starting point is 00:35:25 They're both so cute. Wow. And what is he promising? What is he promised? What's the promise? What's the promise? Treat her well. The promise is,
Starting point is 00:35:35 um, I don't know. I didn't ask you what the promise was. She just wanted to ring. Y'all, what did? This is so nice. Y'all have done promise rings before. Yeah. Hell no.
Starting point is 00:35:45 Hell no. Yeah, he didn't promise me. Thank you, Greg. Yeah, I do it all the time. I don't promise. A promise. Me, nothing. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:35:51 See what happens when you promise? Nothing. Nothing happens. That's great. I like the thought of it. I like the thought of it. I just like it. You don't have to do a promise.
Starting point is 00:36:00 Yeah. It's a good gift. Yeah, it's just like, I'm for you. You're for me. It's like the exclusivity. You don't have to write nothing on the paper when you write a letter. What? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:11 The promise ring, it never was like, hey, I tell you this promise when I give it to you. Yeah. And then the girl I gave it to, she treated it like. It's just that I'm the exclusivity part. I want to give you a ring and we're calling it a promise ring. Yeah. It's half stepping. Just propose already.
Starting point is 00:36:25 Just move in already, you know. They're 17. Yeah. Don't be scared. It's the lead up. It's the lead up. I don't know why we're judging TV. I'm just because.
Starting point is 00:36:35 All right. All right. Uh, Yuvia, but your daughter expects these. She's bougie. If she doesn't get it, does she get upset? No, no, she doesn't get upset. Oh, that's good. No, no, she doesn't get upset.
Starting point is 00:36:48 Um, they're really good kids. It's true, though, what she says, he's very giving. He's always giving her everything and anything. Um, but she has, too. She, she does everything for him, I think, uh, little gifts. She's always making sure that, um, that he has aid of naught. So make him a coffee. or baking them a bread or a turkey.
Starting point is 00:37:08 Okay. Reciprocating. That's good. Yeah. So they kind of take care of each other in that way. So I think it's really cute. I think it is very excessive sometimes, though. Because I've seen the gifts that she's gotten, and I do think it's a lot sometimes.
Starting point is 00:37:24 Like you're her mom and you're like, hey, bro, calm. Yeah. And this is my own daughter. Keketa, Kikki-kitt. Yeah. What are your intentions of my daughter? All right, let's go to Oscar. our leader Oscar.
Starting point is 00:37:37 Oh, Scott. What's up? Yo, good morning, everyone. Let me give you guys a wake up call. Hey. The trucker. What are you? Do you have a milk truck or what?
Starting point is 00:37:47 That was a cute. O'clock. We're like kind of selling on being a parent. I'm a parent myself. I tell my kids, as long as you are under 18, I'm going to tell you
Starting point is 00:38:02 what kind of snakes are out there. You don't stay with one. So what I did, they put the seven princesses from Disney. Which girl do you like the best? And they told me, I would talk, this girls can be like this, this can be like that. You don't want this kind of girl like that.
Starting point is 00:38:17 And then my he has put her the pitofos. I'm like, what kind of pitiful? You're like, I like this one at a try. No, it's going to be wild. You know, you don't want to die with a tooth. I'm so confused right now. Let him, Paul. He's cooking right now.
Starting point is 00:38:29 You need this advice in your life. I am so confused. Greg needed this time. All right. Let me tell us about the pitiful. I get it. You got to tell them what's up right now. So they're all hand up, you know,
Starting point is 00:38:40 with a single parent, single mama, single baby daddy, and all this stuff. You got to talk straight up. Yo, have fun for now. Day whoever you want. Don't get promised me nothing at all, because you never know what's going to happen in this day. You get to know, that's true.
Starting point is 00:38:55 You're not being a bit too far. You're not making. No, no, no, that's a lot of shabada. Wait, what? What's it going to be? have concrete for her. What a concrete do? Concrete never cracks.
Starting point is 00:39:09 We're small. Concre my crack, but it never softens, but I don't know. I don't know how to hot talk people. I don't know how to talk people. Hey, wait,
Starting point is 00:39:19 why didn't you use pitufo in one of your tepix teachings? I never knew that word. I forgot about that word. Well, he's like, I showed my daughter the pitufels. I'm like, wait, what are you sure? The seven dwarves. Which one do you like?
Starting point is 00:39:34 That sucks. Your son gets the princesses. And then it was when you were like, don't be or do you? Grumpy, sleepie. It started off with the honk, so. Yeah, yeah. Wake up. It sounded like an old milk truck, huh?
Starting point is 00:39:50 He has to replace his pitiful. He's working right now. He was cooking, bro. Oh, yeah. Watch out for the snakes. Whichever one you like, there's a problem with each one. Yeah, cortel soffate. Something about concrete softening.
Starting point is 00:40:03 Yeah, that never happens. That's unreal. I don't know. He does according to his life lesson. No way. I'm impossible. Something about yes, concrete gets hard, but then it's softened. That's crazy.
Starting point is 00:40:15 It never does. I think it's the opposite, you know, first it's soft, then it gets hard? Yeah. And stays hard forever. They throw a little rhino seven thousand and then you know. Seven, wah, wow. It beaks teachings. Teaching words that sound bad, but it's actually not what you think.
Starting point is 00:40:30 Offer Hispanic Heritage Month. Brought to you and sponsored by the gods. Los Dioces. My God. Sochit. Sochit. Hey, the big. Sochit killed it when you were not here.
Starting point is 00:40:43 She did good. She did good. I heard it all the way from the pyramids. That was amazing. Where did you go off to? I went to Tenochitlan. Nice. I was.
Starting point is 00:40:53 I'm occupied the tribe. I had to go out there. Mexico. Yeah, I had to go out to post a mission. She said she was about to sacrifice you. Oh, him now. What? Okay.
Starting point is 00:41:02 What's the word today, my friend? All right, but let's check it out. This word can get you get out of the parade. but can also help you lead it. Today's the peak's teaching word is, Cachiporra. It may sound like it sounds a little bad, but it actually isn't.
Starting point is 00:41:15 The word means it's something thick, stick-like, with a round head at the end of it. What? All right. Oh. Yeah. You just wanted to talk about thick sticks right now.
Starting point is 00:41:29 It doesn't sound bad at all. It's like a club. It's like a club, guys. In Ecuador, it has a parade meaning. It's also a decorated baton carried by the drum major, the person leading the marching bands. Oh, yeah. That's a cachipora. That baton can have ribbons.
Starting point is 00:41:49 So when somebody says, look at Takachipura. It's so big. Oh, it's been cabeson. They simply might just be saying admiring the parade equipment. Oh, yeah, yeah. And you know what you do with Takachippurra? With that stick that has a bigger head, you can just bang on things. Sa, saw, saw,
Starting point is 00:42:06 Boom, boom, boom, boom Oh, like a drum? You could just bang all night With that thing, you know? You can be hanging all night with that. So why is it bad? Some sound, ding, ding, ding, ding, some boom, boom, boom, boom.
Starting point is 00:42:19 You feel me? Depending how big your cachipora is. You feel me? Yeah, so here's how to use it. The tambour major Giva una Cachipora, which means the drum major carries a major baton. They say that about the drummers
Starting point is 00:42:35 Yes Police have the batons Yeah those are scary though You don't want to get hit with those Yeah You don't want to get banged on with the No you don't want to know No man that's a lawsuit
Starting point is 00:42:45 May you have to call Larry H Parker for that one Larry H park He got me one trillion dollars And that's today's word You boy concrete Cachippa is in here Let's go A thick stick or club
Starting point is 00:42:59 That ends in a rounded bulging head Yeah That sounds gross to know the real meaning Yeah, that doesn't Yeah All right Sounds fun This is Be Real from Cypress Hill
Starting point is 00:43:11 Where are you from SET? Don't you know I'm local All right I hear this all the time From my single homies, Greg That dating in L.A. is really hard Like it's very frustrating, right? So if you are in that same boat
Starting point is 00:43:25 Why not try Going to Costco There's a new trend that apparently started overseas in Finland and Spain, where they have different stores. If you go in there and you get a pink basket that's letting people know that you're single ready to mingle, right? This U.S. version, though, is seeing singles go to places like Costco
Starting point is 00:43:46 because someone that goes to Costco is already displaying green flags. Like, they can stick to a membership for an annual, you know? Like, that's a green flag. How they're going on their single is just a big old box of condoms on there? They're saying. Big old tank of lube. Their signs. Can I finish my story?
Starting point is 00:44:03 Thank you. All right. It also shows that you buy household necessities, you plan ahead, that you've got enough stability to figure out, like, hey, I'm going to go shop at Costco. Okay. Now, to Concrete's question, what is the sign that someone is single? Apparently, according to a Reddit thread, women either wear a pink top or hoodie. And men can wear a black top or hoodie with something pink around their wrist, like some kind of bracelet to show, like, hey, we're participating. You can come up to me.
Starting point is 00:44:29 But let this be on the wrong day where just a random girl. is wearing a pink hoodie or a pink shirt, which pink we like. We do, we wear it. And then a fool comes up to you. You're all the way married? Oh, you know. Apparently, this is also happening Thursday nights
Starting point is 00:44:43 from 7 to 8 p.m. It's the Costco dating time. So what are we got to, I mean, what are guys going to wear? You don't have to wear nothing. You on the other hand. Dating is hard. Dating is hard. When you're married, it's hard.
Starting point is 00:44:57 You should have a shot. If you shop at Costco, you definitely don't have commitment. issues because you have an entire family at home that you're shopping for. What you're shopping for? Yeah. Yeah. I was going to say, don't get a twisted girl.
Starting point is 00:45:08 This is my mom's membership. Not mine. She can stay on to this annual membership. Well, this is a trend that's been going viral and apparently people are going out to do this. Going to Costco shopping around. I also saw another one that if you see someone with like the front little basket of the, of the, what are they called? Car. Of the cart.
Starting point is 00:45:27 Of the front little basket. Have a lot of samples. Then they are a single too. Huh? And also broken. The gay homies are eating hot dogs. That's what I mean? No bun.
Starting point is 00:45:43 Apparently, Costco's already in on a two. They said more than 200 singles showed up to a Costco in San Francisco for a singles night. Definitely. Definitely. You get 17 hot dogs playing. No bun. They wore special lapel. A lapel pins.
Starting point is 00:45:59 A lapel pin. To show that they were single. The hot dog eating showed how good they are. Yeah. The singles is the lapels, you guys. Got it. Just so you know, that's what's going down inside your local Costco, some dating going on. So you're saying I'm going to find the love of my life at Costco.
Starting point is 00:46:14 You can try. You should try. Not the Santa Feet Spring swap meat. No, you got to go to Sam's Club. Sam's Club, yeah. Sam's Club. Okay. Well, that was, don't you know, I'm local.
Starting point is 00:46:25 Zulu would come here? Now what's going on? Cheezmation with Angie. Okay, you guys. You guys know that Ben Affleck speaks Spanish, right? Yes. It's not the best. Like, he said it himself.
Starting point is 00:46:39 He speaks like this. I'm like a little years. Aw. No, he sounds really good. Yeah, I always think he sounds like sap. Like, when you put like a TV show on Spanish. Oh, diablo. That's what you say.
Starting point is 00:46:53 Like exaggerated. Yes. Very like that. Hello, Mr. Wilton. Yes. Yeah, but he was talking more and more about where he learned And apparently dude moved to Mexico when he was 13. And that's where he picked up the Spanish.
Starting point is 00:47:07 Listen. We lived in Mexico when I was 13 years. And the country was spectacular. The people were incredible. He left in my, my heart and my alma, you know, a tremendous affection for Mexico, the culture of the people. We talked to him. He told us novellas. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:47:26 Novelas too. And then it helped that he's out there in Mexico. But he was saying that he just fell in love with the people. The culture, all that stuff, right? The Latinas. That, too. Yeah. But apparently, he feels Mexican in his heart, too.
Starting point is 00:47:41 Tenia other friends and other countries. Oh, you? See, never, no, no, no, no, no. Your accent is no my mal. Why are you such a Mexican? No, look. I'm like, no.
Starting point is 00:47:54 Mexican or my heart. No, try to entertainer me other accent. That's so funny. Yeah. It's weird. Sometimes my toddler would yell at himself and he would sound like, I feel like he's the first person I ever heard that fully has the accent and not the words. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:48:12 He's like the words are catching up. He caught the vibes. Yeah, the accent is there. Did you catch this where he said other people from other countries tell him like, that's not the right Spanish maybe and want him to learn their type, maybe the Puerto Rican vibe of Spanish? And he was like, no. No, I'm Mexican.
Starting point is 00:48:29 I'm Mexican by heart. That's what he was saying. He's got other friends telling him that. He's like, I'm Mexican and I love every Yenifer. Yes. Hey, he's got two. He sounds good. The new movie that he's in, animal, is really good.
Starting point is 00:48:42 And I feel like he made that movie to show up how much Spanish he knew. It's funny because Netflix invited us to do, like, it was like a Hispanic heritage, right? And it was like, hey, before the screening, there's going to be a bunch of Hispanic character stuff. But I'm looking at the photo and it's like, it's been Netflix and Carrie Washington. Where is the Hispanic in the room? Like I didn't get what it had to do You watch the movie, you get it No, Ben is the Hispanic in the room
Starting point is 00:49:08 What? Ben? There were the caterer was on set But Ben is talking Spanish all throughout I was like, okay, Ben, Ben, who would have thought he's Mexican at heart? And the Corrasso, that's what he feels. That make mon moot. Okay, fellas
Starting point is 00:49:26 Because you win $250,000. Quarter of a million. Yep. Yeah. What's the first thing you buy? First thing I buy. Probably like a house in Detroit or something. Okay.
Starting point is 00:49:42 So you're a homeowner. All right. That's his answer. That's his answer. Let's move on. Concrete? First thing you buy. I pay off my parents' house.
Starting point is 00:49:49 Boom. Okay, thinking about your parents. Who's first thing you buy, Greg? Face tattoo. Oh, my God. What? At what point do you start buying things for your girl? Oh, wow.
Starting point is 00:50:00 Anybody? I know, you know how many. The two guys in the room. The house is for my girl. The house for Detroit, poverty. So we can retire in Detroit. What if she doesn't want to go over there? At what point do you buy something for Wi-Fi?
Starting point is 00:50:13 At one point? Yeah, because you just said you're buying parents. But, yeah, I take care of her every day. Every single day. Today she woke up and she turned on the lights, no? That's right. That's right. That doesn't just happen by magic. Yeah. Okay. Well, shout out to Juan Garcia. Juan Garcia, if you don't know him, he was playing Mr. Beast's Grocery Challenge.
Starting point is 00:50:36 He was one of four people that ended up taking home the bacon. And what he did with his winnings of state, he stayed in a grocery store for 202 days, okay? At first it was last man standing, and then it was down to four dudes. And then they were like, you know what? You guys have to eat a certain amount of calories. And if you guys get there, then boom, you all win. You don't have to worry about it. I think at some point he's like, damn, they're really staying in here for a long time. So what he ended up doing with his winnings has you saying, que viva el-a-a-or. Okay, he sent it to his wife.
Starting point is 00:51:04 Listen. Here, a ring, I had to return for it. We not got the money, but now I got this ring for you. He got her a ring that he had to pawn because they didn't have money. He had to sell it. So the first thing he buys with his bread that he won from me. Mr. Bees is a ring for his. That's sweet.
Starting point is 00:51:26 Yeah. Promise ring. That's a real promise ring. Wow, that's great. That's pretty romantic. It is. Because, yeah, they had to pawn it. That's always a sad situation.
Starting point is 00:51:38 He was forced to sell it. He revealed that he plans to build a home too for his wife and his six kids. Wow. Oh, that man's gone already. Six kids? So what are you guys buying for your girls after work? After work? Hmm.
Starting point is 00:51:50 We're out of time. We're out of time. I don't care to know right now. That was money moves. Brought to you by your Toyota dealers. I'm Letty for Brownback Mornings on Power 106. Right. Fuck.
Starting point is 00:52:02 Hell of studios. What's 9 plus 10? Drink your life? Look at this studio. Ooh. All right, Peritos. If your patas smell like a cito, like that's a cotija, don't worry. Because two researchers just came up with a perfect way to fix all that, all that.
Starting point is 00:52:15 And they wanted a war for it. Imagine putting professional chancla sniffer on your resume, Peritos. What? What? What? Scientists studied why shoe racks stink and they found the smell as the real problem, Perritos, all right? They surveyed 150 students. 55% said they felt uncomfortable that other people smelled their shoes or their order.
Starting point is 00:52:37 52% someone else's stinky shoes had actually created an embarrassing situation for them. And 90% keep their shoes on the rack, right? Researchers say that sweat and moisture create an environment where the bacteria grows inside your shoes. One bacterias focus called Cytocosis Senditorious Doesn't really matter
Starting point is 00:52:56 But it's just Whatever So they invented a shoe rack To just make that all go away All right It's a UVC light Inside of a shoe rack setup All right
Starting point is 00:53:04 And they found that if you put shoes In there for two to three minutes It was enough to eliminate The detectable foul smell From those shoes Perritos Who needs to buy the rack in here? You
Starting point is 00:53:17 Not mean Ew. He's thinking of a shoe. Smell it, Jesus. No. You call it. Greg, you smell it. Greg, you smell it.
Starting point is 00:53:27 I smell his feet all the time. Why? It's not me. It's not him. It's me. It don't smell. What do you mean it's not him? It's you.
Starting point is 00:53:33 My feet smell. Oh, my God. Why are you got to tell all your stuff like that? Because I do. If the shoe fits? No, no, no, no, no. No. Concrete knew he was doing this story, so he brought the good shoes.
Starting point is 00:53:44 Yeah, exactly. Yeah. He brought... That those shoes. The worst. He was in the back pudding. on his feet. If you don't like to smell of jumbo jacks.
Starting point is 00:53:51 Yumboyac. Okay. What do you know about Greg that his feet smoke? Because you pointed right at him. No, I don't, you know, we just make sure that the AC is fully plastered on the What? Why do they smell, though?
Starting point is 00:54:04 I just got sweaty feet. Like, so I think I just have a sweaty foot problem. So like the other... Has this always been a problem? No. So it's been a problem recently. Like, we were traveling. We're in the van.
Starting point is 00:54:13 And I was like, I'm going to take my shoes off. I hope they don't smell. But every single time... And then suddenly, we all fell asleep. And the smell so bad, I can smell it on myself. It's like one of those bad smells. Yeah, that's how bad it gets. Dude, you never gone to the doctor for that?
Starting point is 00:54:27 For sweaty feet? Yeah. Maybe you have something. Talco on it or something, yeah, maybe they're in. Like, I specifically clean my feet too and everything because I was like, I feel like everybody forgets to wash their feet because they think the water. And you're still not doing enough. And it's still smells.
Starting point is 00:54:39 Maybe the socks? Do you wear your socks all the time? I wear thick socks. Or the same shoes all the time? Maybe some breathable socks. Probably. It's what I'm thinking too. What?
Starting point is 00:54:47 What shoes are you wearing? I'm wearing right now, we're in Converse. All right, take them off. It's probably, though. You want? Yeah, take them off. Pass it around.
Starting point is 00:54:53 All right. What does my? No. No? No. Those are new-ish, though. Those are a pretty new. No.
Starting point is 00:55:00 No. It doesn't smell? No. No, you're good on. The shoes all yellow, too, I'm surprised. They don't. I don't trust you guys.
Starting point is 00:55:07 Let me. Come on. It says. It's not bad. Oh, yeah, you're good. It smells like socks. No. It's fun.
Starting point is 00:55:12 But there's times where, like, I'm in the car and stuff like that and I'll take off my shoes and I get smell. I put your foot up. Put your foot up. I have concrete smell his foot. No. No. Today's a good day.
Starting point is 00:55:24 Hey, but wait till 3 p.m. Yeah. That's the way to hear you. If you like the smell of a bonnigas, they're fine. If you like to smell of that's a cotica. I actually love that smell. Okay, but there's a shoe rack that can help you. So there's a shoe rack.
Starting point is 00:55:38 Yes, but of those. And hopefully these guys get it out there quickly. Yeah. Because doing anything else is not helping. So two to three minutes and this UVC light shoe rack will take that smell away. You never have stinky feet? Oh, no, I have. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:55:52 Yeah, but, you know, we shower and we exfoliate our shoes. You know what I'm saying? You got to make sure to take care of the feet, man. Yeah. And you're men never has stinky feet? No, he doesn't. I smelled it before. Yeah, you smell his armpits and stuff like that.
Starting point is 00:56:07 Yeah, I love all that. Oh, I love it. What? I love his armpits smell. I'm scared all right. That's crazy. She doesn't want anything from him but his pit. Yeah, let me just, mm.
Starting point is 00:56:22 Does he cut your little one crazy tonal that you have? Yeah, he does. Yes, he loves it. And that's love. Hey, shout us to you, perro. That's all. Shoot the J. Shoot it.
Starting point is 00:56:33 Playball. All right, you guys. The Dodgers biggest app, the San Diego Padre. are finding creative new ways to lose, and I'm loving every minute of it. All right, so the Padres are playing the Brewers in the playoffs, and near the end of game one, their player, Thai France, hit a fly ball that hit the roof
Starting point is 00:56:53 at American Family Field at the Brewers Park. Listen to the call. Not that one. Come on, somebody. It was Jesus Kelly? Hens of the live. It's a high fly ball, down the left feet. It's off the railing.
Starting point is 00:57:10 It's in fair territory. It is called by Chirio for the second out. I've played a lot of games here, and I've never seen a ball at the roof. I don't know if that ball would. I would love to know the metrics on this ball. So I have the metrics for you right here. So the ball had an exit velocity of 105.3 miles per hour and a 49-degree launch angle, which could have resulted in a two-run home run that gave him a 4-3 lead.
Starting point is 00:57:36 If the park had no roof. But it did have a roof. But it did have a roof. And then went straight by game. Yes, but since they're the Padres, it wasn't out, and then they lost the game. Oh, yeah, they end up losing that game. Dumbest rule to ever exist. There was outrage online.
Starting point is 00:57:51 It's your team. If it's another team, you're fine. No, because that would have been a home run. If you saw the doctors do it, you'd be like, hell yeah. No, but you know what, dude, no, in baseball, no diamond is the same. Yes. That part. That's the trip. It doesn't even matter.
Starting point is 00:58:05 Isn't there some ones, some. The green wall in Boston. Isn't there some parks where it's easier to do home runs? Yes. 100%. But the funny part was, though, that you brought that up, a lot of Dodger fans were in the comments of all these posts of that ball almost going out. That even Dodger fans were like, hey, I'm a Dodger fan, but that should have been a home run.
Starting point is 00:58:24 Yeah. Check the actual pages, bots. Sometimes it could be bots. No, honestly, it was a lot. There's no. I'm a Dodger fan and then. Yeah, right. I saw people I know that commenting. Yeah, if it was all tiny, they would have freaking named the field after that.
Starting point is 00:58:37 Yeah. Yeah. Whoa, all of a sudden. But it would have a grand slam. People have privilege, bro. You can't be mad. You chose that team, okay? The funniest part about this all of that.
Starting point is 00:58:46 You knew. The next day, the Padgers and Brewers went out again, and then the brewers removed the retractable roof. Yeah. Come on. Come on. To add insult to injury, it was like, I swear there was a roof right there. But they still lost.
Starting point is 00:59:00 But they still lost, even without the roof. They lost, and the craziest part. They hit a bird this time. Yeah, they lost in the night. ninth inning. It was super dramatic and now they're 02. They're headed home and I, as a Dodger fan, I love to see it. Literally, after game, after game I was like, this is ridiculous.
Starting point is 00:59:20 I was watching the game. As a Dodger fan, I was like, this sucks, man. It sucks. Poracito. Right? Had you watching the game? No, I was watching, I was just watching a bunch of games, you know, just, yeah, I had family over and we're watching a bunch of games and I felt.
Starting point is 00:59:34 I was like, man, look at this. Isn't there different situations where like, let's say it hits the, that little wall thing? or it'll hit random things and it'll go back in. So this is just one of the other things that it randomly hits and it goes back in. And you don't get points for how high it goes. You get points for how far it goes. And it didn't go for it. And it's still technically a fair ball all of a sudden.
Starting point is 00:59:55 Like it hits the roof, he catches it still out. Yeah, because if it hits something out, like if hits the side and it goes, it's still in, it's still in. Whatever, it ricochets off stuff, it's still in. No, but the rule is weird because it has, if it's go, if it's, if it lands, if it hits the roof, but then lands and foul, territory, then it's still foul. This is their no-pipin now, guys. We're going to see this for years.
Starting point is 01:00:16 Oh, my God. Yeah, no, we would have won that series. If it wasn't for... We were like the exit velocity and everything. It was ready for a home run. That was a home run ball. 100%. That's a loss.
Starting point is 01:00:25 Hey, that's when you know it. Your team has it rough when you're looking up exit velocity. And so I had to look it up. I'm like, I never even heard of this stuff. That's when the bat hits the ball, how far it goes and stuff. Okay, bro. Yeah. You still long.
Starting point is 01:00:37 You can't put it back in, buddy. That's right. All right. Well, they're losing 02. Dodgers are 1-1 also, and they play tomorrow. So we'll see. That's tough. They lost one. They lost one.
Starting point is 01:00:48 So they won 1, they lost one. And they're going to Atlanta now. So wishing them the best. Best out of five. How's the Atlanta field? Is it good? Yeah, it's not too different. Nothing crazy about it.
Starting point is 01:00:57 Okay. All right. That was sports. I'm Rose Crensvik for Brownback Mornings. They're going to say it's bad and boogie. Ew. Bad and Boogie. You're not bad and boogie.
Starting point is 01:01:05 I'm bad and boogie. You can be bad and boogie if you want. Thank you. Thank you You're so sweet All right, we'll be back Cotton and bigger You're going to go on a lunch date
