These are the nominees for the SIMP of the week.
Sip, Sip, Sip, Sip, Sip, Sip, Sip, Sip, Sip, Sip, Sip, Sip, Sip, Sip.
Such a motivation will be here.
It is.
Yeah, like, wow.
I aspire.
Right?
You are.
You are.
Rob, why do you do this to yourself?
I literally, my brain, like, letty, don't clown him, don't clown him, don't clown him.
Yeah.
And he's getting, ping, ping, ping, ping, ping, pink.
Why?
It's like the conversation
It's like,
Girl, please.
He's at his job right now.
Yeah, let me do my work.
Wait till he's online.
Talking to people of Los Angeles.
Yeah.
What if she has to tell you this early in the morning, Greg?
I don't know.
I just asked her for a Starbucks order.
You asked her for her Starbucks order?
You're going to send her?
No, I'm getting it because it's pretty good.
She gets it.
Oh, sure.
But you don't have a girl.
No, I don't have a girl.
No, I don't have a group.
There was 12 messages while I was trying to order on your phone.
By the way, never share your phone.
coffee order because look he's not claiming you
but he is going to get the drink you get.
This guy,
Vic got the phone, got 12 messages.
He handed me the phone. I got 12 messages.
Oh my goodness.
Should we just do it?
Congratulations, Grant.
Is it okay if we just give like a
participation award? Like a second award?
Second place?
Yeah, yeah. Who's second place?
And our participant
for the week were
Kim Kardashian.
Posting, bless me, Miss Westie on Kanye West's wife, Bianca's birthday.
On her birthday.
Yeah.
Did it on her birthday was like, like she knew what she was doing.
Yeah, and she looked super cool.
She's like in the Alps somewhere.
Yeah, super vibes.
But doing it on the birthday of your ex's new girl.
Yeah.
And he's publicly telling his new girl happy birthday.
You're iconic, you're that.
Beautiful.
And then you just is like, don't forget.
Genius chess move.
Don't forget the original.
Oh, gee.
Yeah.
The original Miss Westie.
Yeah, not the clone.
Not the clone, not the one that you try to make look like me.
Oh, wow.
Just without, like, shoes.
They don't look the same.
Yeah.
At least, not from the bottom.
They do look like the same.
Not the box.
No, they have the same sometimes, like top half features.
Top half, yeah.
They look exactly the same, I think.
I look at a lot of life.
They do.
Not the bottom half.
Yeah, of course.
Yeah, but that's not in anymore.
True.
Yeah.
Damn.
Well, our other nominee was
Selena Gomez when she posted a picture with her boyfriend
Beni Blanco and said and captioned it
I won
And all
Dude I even saw comments in other languages and you know you could translate tweet
All of those comments in Portuguese
In Spanish and Italian everyone was saying no one is competing with you
It's not just the Americans that are like you are in your own lane there
Like other the whole world is like look
When it's just one person in the room
race you're gonna win it's just
used to this. Oh I told you guys I ran into him right
you didn't run into him I didn't
stop being extra you drove by him
and you that's what I'm saying but we made eye contact
but just I'm saying all that to say
you had guilt she didn't win that much
I was like that dude short nuggett looks like Betty Blok
oh oh it's a lot of people in
LA that are like that I know people like I was
like oh dude that's funny that dude looks like
oh wait it was and then you made eye contact
Yeah, it was weird.
And when you say, big fan, bro, big fan, watch Dave all the time.
No, it was just weird because we have just been talking about him.
So it was just like.
You're manifesting the wrong thing.
I know.
That's what freaked me out.
Manifest Kim, don't manifest funny.
Yeah, exactly.
And our last nominee or participant that lost.
Yeah, participation trophies.
Was Kevin Hart after they asked him because there was a Cat Williams interview
and Cat Williams was dissing Kevin Hart.
Yeah.
And after the interview, Kat Williams decided to bring Kevin Hart's ex on tour, Tori Hart.
And they asked him, hey, how do you feel about it?
And this is what he said.
Once again, you know, your ex-wife is going on tour with Kat.
I want everybody the one.
I hope the tour is great.
I love that.
So you are supportive of her.
At that point, what does he have to do?
Like, he has to support it.
And you know what the things that Kat was saying about Kevin was like he was an industry?
history plan.
Yeah.
And it's like, people have come out to be like, look, we've seen Kevin driving in a
bucket.
We saw him really grind for this.
And it was just a lot.
So you're coming at like, I guess my come up in my career and all of that.
And then you take my ex-wife on tour.
That's a lot.
And I have to act like really nice.
Right.
It's weird.
Because I can't let you know you got to me.
Exactly.
And his son that he has with her, I believe is like way older.
Like he's already like teenage age.
And so it's like.
Yeah.
It's like he's not a little kid, so he has obviously, like, somebody else to kind of answer to.
It's like, you can't say anything negative when it's like, that kid is already older.
That is peeping game.
Exactly.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Well, those were our participants.
But the real simple way is our friend.
Our friend Greg.
Our friend Greg.
Yeah.
There's a couple things that you did for this prestigious award.
Okay, first of all, you folded in front of the girl that you like here.
Here we go.
Okay.
At your New Year's party.
Uh-huh.
Right.
Then you got blocked by another girl that you talked to that's up right now.
Two of them.
Two.
You got blocked by two girls?
I got blocked by two of them.
So you got blocked.
And see, usually it's worth it if you get the girl that you like, that you get blocked, right?
Yeah.
It's worth it that the two blocked you that maybe you were talking to.
Yeah.
Or for the time being, if you got the girl.
But you had the girl right there.
She was literally in your face, like, supporting you like, oh, Craig, I love your party.
And you just dogged her.
Like, I feel like if we were in elementary.
scream with a push her.
Yeah.
Get away!
And then you said that's because you're standing on business all 2024.
All 2024 standing on business.
The guys here don't understand it either.
I think big dog is a little confused.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Confused dog.
Yeah.
Yeah.
But Vic, you were like maybe he's just put it too high on a pedestal and if it's happening
it's kind of like, nah, this is not it, right?
You're running from the like actual thing happening.
You guys are manifesting stuff.
Then it comes to your, it comes to your face, pause.
And then you guys are like, no, no, I don't want it.
Kim, Kim, Kim, Kim, Kim.
It's scary.
It can, can, keep, okay.
It's a lot to deal with.
So then, fast forward to today, this morning.
And we're ordering stuff on your phone because you're like, hey, anyone wants Starbucks?
Yeah.
And you're getting blown up by someone.
I haven't even checked what it is, so I'm not going to look.
You've probably got 12 more messages right now.
Probably.
The other day, she texted you like, hey, I want to get mad.
I'm going to listen to you, right?
Oh, yeah, she did.
And that's why I got blocked again.
I think I'm still blocked.
Why do you like this for yourself?
I like, I like, I like, I like, I love.
like it.
That's my type of Latina right there.
He's a real player in the game in 2024.
Exactly.
Like his stats are crazy.
It's like Anthony Davis.
Two blocks.
Two steals.
You know, it's even more crazy?
17 turnovers.
You know it's even more crazy?
It's working, you guys.
We got a DM.
What?
I'm Brownback Morning's 106.
I mean, I don't know if you read it.
It was yesterday, but I got it.
Hi, my name is Melanie.
I'm from the OC and listen to you guys every morning on my way to work.
I wanted to shout out DJ Greg C.
For his hello.
hilarious jokes. Now, I know you make no hilarious jokes.
I know she's like, and everyone else on Brownback. You guys make my mornings, and I look
forward to hearing the Cheesma every day. Thank you for all you do. P.S., I love you, Greg.
Oh, who is she?
Oh, let's go.
Yeah, it's working.
Let's go, Greg. See, big dog.
I can be a simp. I can only be a pimp.
Oh, my God.
No, because if you ever were to meet her, you'd be like, oh, get away.
You know what? I might be blocked.
But guess who she was having dinner with last night?
Me.
Really?
No, not her.
Another one.
The one that you're texting with right now.
Yeah, exactly.
Another one.
So does that make you simp?
No.
That you bought her dinner?
Yeah.
And you're available at her.
You didn't pay for dinner?
I didn't pay for.
That's Pimp.
You ready for another block?
I took her to a place where I don't have to pay.
So I've seen Pimp.
Oh.
Exactly.
I've done that before.
Yeah.
Classic move.
Classic move.
Yep.
Even though the server will dab you up,
like, all right, bro, I got you.
Yeah.
That's it, see?
Oh, regular order?
Where did you take it?
Can't see.
It's a secret spot.
I don't want to burn the spot, you know?
It's your mom's house?
Scrolling with the homies.
Leti.
Our next generation of musicians are already heartbroken
and making some bangers
because we have a young little artist
by the name of Miles.
Miles.
Age seven going viral on TikTok.
Seven years old?
Seven years old.
who produces his own music,
writes his own music.
What?
And it's pretty heartbreaking
and it's pretty sad.
And I want to play you a little bit
of a snippet of him making the music.
So this is him working on his own music.
In the lab?
In the lab in his parents' living room.
Playing the guitar and all that type of stuff.
Listen to this.
Get a new audio track.
I'm going to add a noise gate.
I just cut out because they're unwanted frequencies.
Down 12, seven tones, down 12.
I'm going to use.
Automation
Electronic drum kit
When I first heard this
I was like
Okay a little kid working on music
Like I'm like
And gee what's a noise gate
It's a big word
What's a what?
Do you know what a noise gate is?
No I don't
Do you know what a noise gate is Vic?
No
Vic you do production
Like you've done
You're doing an album right now
Yeah
You know what noise gate is
No not really
I just push buttons
He's like yeah
That sounds
It tells me
They push that thing right
Where's auto tune
That's on a tune
Nice on noise gate
That little kid's a nerd
And I love it
He knows more than me
language i know exactly like as an audio editor and all of that noise gate is where you put the like
whatever decibel you put to like make sure you cut out certain noises so that if you unless it goes
above the noise gate everything everything is quiet yeah yeah it's quiet so like let's say i put the noise
gate like like around right here right yeah anything that would have got silent it would have
gotten like quiet right but anything above works yeah so like that people do that for like breaths to
take breaths out, make it silent, any room noise.
Sorry.
That's cool.
Sorry, I'm going to hear.
That's my, I want to know this kid.
His parents must do something in the, yeah.
It's crazy because he knows a lot.
He knows a lot more than a lot of these producers these days.
Right.
Well, yeah, I know.
For sure.
I swear to God, Vich has made albums.
Yeah.
I don't know what that was.
Every other photo.
By day, he's on the morning show.
By night, he does something in the lab.
Like Batman.
Yeah.
I want to play you the song.
That he made.
And it made me low-key.
I was like, all right, I went from hating on this kid
to actually liking the music that he made.
Listen to this.
He's not going to his mom.
He used to laugh, that you get mad.
He's so heartbroken, he was only seven.
That made you like him?
That made me like him.
He just ruined a classic to me.
Oh, my God, thank you.
I'm sorry, Angie.
I love kids and kids think shenanigans, but he just ruined music soul child's incredible.
Yeah.
And that's not original.
You said he writes his own music.
music and all that.
For all the sounds he made on his own.
Yeah.
That actually made me unlike him.
All the, like, jargon, all the, like, I loved it.
Did he reproduce that?
Yeah, he made everything on his own.
Yeah.
I think he didn't let the beat play.
Yeah.
I thought it was pretty good.
He's dope.
He's dope.
No, it's good.
And like you said, so talented.
Like, it literally, I saw that video and I got really upset at my son.
I'm like, I'm upset right now.
Why aren't you?
You know, only know how to play.
Did you used to do this?
Like, look you when what's his face got popping, Lil Bowow?
I'm like, I'm boom.
Like, how many years do I have?
Like, I got to make it.
Like, if this is how I made it, I got to make it.
When 3LW, Adrian Bayonne and then that other girl that had the cool teeth.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I was like, oh my God, hold on.
There's three of them.
I have three home girls.
Like, how old are we?
Like, you time it out.
Yes.
Yeah, I look at 310 baby.
I'm like, you're only 18.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
But legit, I'm like, okay, he's seven.
My kids are five or like they got this.
Yeah, no.
I'm getting a mic's a guitar right now.
Yeah, he still has time.
My son's too old now.
I got two years.
Yeah.
He's doing everything right on the production end.
Yeah, on the production end.
But he needs to take some singing lessons if you're going to come hard.
You got to come hard on that son.
I like the vocals.
It was cool.
No, you don't like the voice.
Wait, but you've heard the original music.
Yeah, I wish you had it.
Yeah.
But it's, we don't.
It's he's seven years old.
What do you expect?
The way you hyped them up, I expect it like a top tier.
Yeah, because they're seven-year-olds that, wow.
Yeah.
I feel like I could be driving
driving down to us.
Maybe he should produce
for those seven-year-olds.
Yeah.
Oh, that's not about an idea.
Yeah.
All right.
Oh, don't you have
some messages to answer?
I'm surprised she let you
like play that on air.
It's crazy.
He has a very obsessive
non-girlfriend.
Keep it here.
It's power when it was there.
Word on Rosecrans.
What's the word?
21 Savage might have dissed
another Atlanta rapper on his new album.
Shut on.
All right?
His album just dropped.
last night and it's called
American Dream. It has Doja Cat on it.
Young Thug, Metro Boomin. Wait, so
were you right? You were right.
That's a little right. Yeah. Let's
give me his props.
I think beginning of the week, you were talking
about how 21 Savage came out
with like some type of movie poster
with Donald Glover
about like a movie, whatever and you're like
I think this might be some album stuff.
Yeah. And usually you're wrong.
I know. But today you're right. It's 2024.
Let's go.
Yeah, it kind of feels weird.
It feels great.
Yeah.
God.
It feels weird to cheer being.
It's crazy.
I don't know I made fun of you.
Look, he has Metro booming on and Lil Dirk, Travis Scott, Burn a Boy, and more.
But what has people talking immediately is his verse on the song Red Sky, where people are saying he dissed gunna.
All right?
Listen to this.
How you jump right on that song in this snitch.
You sassy and wrong is a, say the wrong thing and get put on that list.
This is a warning because Savage don't diss.
Better thank me that's your up till is this.
Jesus can't say you from wasting you stick
She don't look good without makeup I'm stiff
Don't with rappers because most I'm sniff
Yeah
And as if that wasn't enough
He wrote a song to Young Thug
It's called Letter to My Brother
On the same album
On the same album
So that's for sure gonna do
Exactly so in that song
He addresses both Thug and Gunna
This is where he addresses
Where people are saying he's addressing Gunna
Wow
That was very
That was very
You want me to forgive you
Let's be realistic
I can't kick it
With your kind
Like I told my meniscus
How you go from
Co-de fin and to a witness
That was very specific
That was specific
Yeah
That's fire
Wow
Gunna was like
What you mean
You mean
What you mean?
That's your song
Yeah
And
Immediately after
He got into
speaking to Thug directly as well.
And this is what he had to say.
They'll stand on couches with you but won't stand on business.
Chee.
Whoa.
I watched everybody turn on my brother like he ain't have him out here flying jet.
Ridiculous.
I feel your pain, my brother.
I know you're front of struggle.
I know how hard you hustled just to take care of your mother.
I know you took clothes off your back for Jucaud brother.
I love it.
I like it a lot.
Shout out 21, 21, 21, 21.
It's really good.
And just right now the beat selection itself is just like, top tier.
Yeah, it's a winter vibe.
I haven't heard the full album, but the things I've heard are incredible.
He has a song with Brand Fias 2.
Really, really good.
It's funny because I have on my Apple playlist, now I can listen to what you guys are listening to
because you know how, like, now you can follow your friends.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, we follow each other.
Yeah.
On, like, to see what they're listening to.
And there's literally a friends playlist.
Yeah.
So like what you've listened to, Angie, what Vicks listen to.
to, Maximo listens to a lot of
Brentfires.
Yes.
Like, my friend's mix is like
Maximo and Brentfires.
Yay, Maximum.
Virtue.
Angie, yours is Siza.
I have been listening.
Yeah, I have Cizzen there.
That's funny.
It's because every flight,
I have this routine
where I just play the Bram Fires album
from beginning and then I fall asleep.
I put my,
I wake up and I'm like, yeah.
He's a lullaby?
That's so cute.
Another man saying you to sleep.
Love it.
Love it.
But yeah, shout out 21 Savage.
In any form of that album, did he shout out, like, winning the lotto?
I haven't heard that yet.
Okay.
I haven't heard that yet.
But that would be interesting.
And then what do you guys think?
Like, let's put it in L.A. terms.
Because Atlanta, there's a lot of rappers in Atlanta, but it is hot in Atlanta, you know?
I'm sure if there was two rappers beefing it and another one came in with an album like that of that, like, mainstream.
Like, and kind of was saying their piece.
and kind of their loyalty to one,
that would land him in something, right?
For sure.
Because, like, how is that going to fare out?
Lo-key.
Yeah.
If you're direct, like,
we could tell it's towards Gunna,
who was openly friends with Young Thug.
Yeah.
And then also one,
somebody that may have been cooperating
with the police during this whole Young Thug investigation.
So, that's free.
Yeah, and now it's free.
Yep.
Making music and kind of, like,
living within the terms and the confinement of, like,
the lifestyle that he lives in,
living kind of with no real repercussion to what he's done.
So a lot of people are chiming in on that, including 21 Savage.
Yeah.
I mean, if it was out here, it would definitely be a lot different.
I don't know, obviously, like politics and things like that, we won't get into that.
But it seems like so many people sided with Thug, and it feels like Gunners on an island.
Yeah.
You know what I'm saying?
It does, but then he still sells our shows.
Yeah.
So then it's like...
Well, because you don't need the support of your rapper peers to sell out the shows as long as the music is good.
and we keep spinning the music because it's good.
We can't.
He didn't do nothing to me.
You know what I'm saying?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
What you mean?
Yeah.
Look.
All right.
Wiz Khalifa admits he goes to parent teacher conferences stoned.
Okay.
Oh, my gosh.
Whiz.
Classic quiz.
He was on a podcast recently and he was asked if he ever goes a parent teacher conferences under the influence of the green.
And he said, hell yeah, I'm pulling up.
Stone.
That was really good.
We have it?
Bro,
King talking.
So he said,
it's not like back in the day
where you're considered a bad parent
if you smell like weed.
And, you know, he just went on to say,
like, you know what?
Maybe my son smells like it, too.
I don't know.
I can't tell.
Like, everything smells like it.
Maybe the teacher.
You know what I'm saying?
And, you know, he was basically saying,
like, they need to know me.
This is who I am.
I'm not going to hide who I am.
I'm his parent.
And that's it.
You know what I'm saying?
And it's just good to know.
He's still young, wild, and free.
Right.
You know what I'm saying?
But not at the parent teacher conference.
Why not?
Why?
I mean, I think he's thinking like, okay.
I love, I love ways, but there's a time in a place.
Imagine.
He's thinking like, okay, if I go high, my son might get high scores.
Yeah.
Oh, my God.
The thing is this, right?
I think it's cool if you go like that.
I just think don't smell like it.
Like, there's no difference because it's like when you.
smell, bro, I've been in so many places and nobody knows.
And I'm just like, visiting my family, everything.
Yeah.
And they don't even know because I'm, like, really cautious about not spending.
It's not about whether you can pull it off.
Yeah.
It's just like that man, like giving it that boundary.
Yeah.
Because even, like, put that in relation to alcohol, someone tells you, yeah, I go drunk too,
but I can handle it.
Yeah.
Yeah.
But I pass up.
No, no, but it's not.
It's like there are people that are definitely, they're drinking, but they can handle it.
They can operate well.
you don't want that true yeah i mean like i don't i don't smoke or anything like that but like going to
parent-teacher conferences i try to be conscious of like what i wear because sometimes i'll wear a shirt
with like a drug kingpin on it bro you know what was that i don't know which one wait what if you're
doing the burpees oh yeah come on bro i'm gonna start checking your your what is it outfits
yeah what's a policy what do they have at the schools uh what is it uh dress code no we're gonna have a
Covey.
Well, that's what I'm saying.
Because you're taking a full on extendo, like.
I try my best to, like, keep conscious of what I wear.
But sometimes- You wear sweaters with Pablo Escobar, El Chapo, faces, full blown on them.
And so that's the way I relate to Wizz.
I'm like, I sometimes I do that unintentionally.
Like, I'll just be like, oh, man, I'm wearing this shirt.
Because to me, it doesn't mean anything, right?
The pharmacy's what are you wearing?
Oh, yeah.
This one?
Oh, yeah, this is my favorite sweater.
But it's just like this is who I am.
And I'll try my best to not.
have that type of clothing.
But sometimes it's like,
I got to go pick up my son
in an emergency or something.
Right.
I just have to be in an El Chapo T-shirt right now.
Yes.
You know?
It doesn't mean anything.
Doesn't mean that's my line of work.
For me, the outfit,
I get sleepy and parenting your conference.
I'm like, oh my God, I'm so sleepy.
You're sleepy all day, every day.
Angie, what is your, what is it called?
Like, your, ah, when you try to,
When you're acting like someone else?
Impression?
What's wrong with my brain?
I'm sorry, guys.
What's your impression of Maximo?
My impression of Maximo that he's always like, I don't know, not handling it or something like that.
No.
I don't know.
There you.
Oh.
No.
It's the impressionation that I always say of him saying, I don't know.
I'm going to take a nap.
It's just bad.
That's what I'm doing.
I handle business.
But that you think you always say.
You're up.
I'm going to take a nap.
I don't know.
I know.
I'm going to take a nap.
That's what I meant.
All right.
Please drop this.
I wake up early, okay?
I couldn't find the Wednesday.
It's the second Friday of the year.
It's Friday.
It's Friday.
It's the weekend.
All right.
That was your word on Rosecrans brought to by local Southern California, Toyota dealers.
I'm Rosecrans, Vic for Brownback Mornings.
I'm par 106.
What's up?
This is Be Real from Cyprus Hill.
Where are you from, Es?
Don't you know I'm local?
All right, y'all.
If you can name one city
That's the best city out here in SoCal
What city is that? Don't lie
Don't lie though
Don't just say your city
Because we know that
Angie maybe Sanana maybe you'll see
But like I know for sure
We can say it's fire
For what?
Everything
There's cars on fire there right now
But
Because we're cold
I got it
Burbank, San Diego
I'll say Irvine
They'll lock my doors
When I leave them unlocked
What do you mean
They'll lock your doors?
Because I honestly, at Irvine, I always leave, like, if I had to do like a quick little Audi, yeah, I'll leave my car.
I'll leave my wallet and I'll leave my phone in there.
You should leave your engine running next time too, just to be sure.
I'll leave my car unlocked.
And you're also sharing your location.
I'll wrap for it.
And someone will lock it for you?
Well, that's just the thing.
The stereotype of whether it's just perfect.
They will lock it for you?
Yeah, it's just a thing.
It's not actually going to happen, but it's just a thing people say.
It's so safe.
They'll probably lock it for you.
Wow.
Irvine.
Yeah, Irvine is really nice.
Well, according to New York Times, it's actually none of those.
There was one city in the New York Times.
Uh-huh.
There was one city from California that was listed in the New York Times as the place to visit when you come to California.
Do we know it?
We know it.
We know it.
We know it.
It's not Bakersfield.
We love Bakersfield, okay?
It's the city of roses, Pasadena.
Wow.
Wow.
Yeah.
Actually got it.
It's a beautiful city.
It's beautiful.
And that was much in part of to why they said it, you know, the nature of it all, the mountains that you see, the greenery, the air smell feels really good.
I remember we did a shoot at the Rose Bowl.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And it was like, this is what fresh air smells like.
Yeah.
I remember that.
We're like.
But I think honestly living so close to it, after that, there's not too much.
Because if you're going to visit Pasadena, you're going to go through the most treacherous freeway to get there.
Yes.
Is it the 101 or is it the 110?
Yeah, the first freeway that was ever built.
Exactly.
Oh, that one.
Yeah, and it just like turns.
It's crazy.
It's like Mario Kart to get in and out.
It's super, yeah, it's a whole race track.
But it won.
That's dope.
I mean, Pasadena is one of those cities that you never have to leave if you don't want to.
Yeah.
Like, they have everything.
I love it.
I went to college over there.
Love Pasadena.
Oh, you did?
I went to PCC.
Yeah.
What did you do like outside of college?
Because, again, I love getting my nails in there.
I love going shopping there, but I don't know, like, what can.
can we do besides go to the Rose Bowl?
There's so much, there's like the old town.
There's a whole bunch of like bars, restaurants.
There's a lot of little like Italian restaurants and stuff like that too.
Like really whole-in-the-wall places that you would never think about going to.
And then you go, you're like, wow, this is actually really, really good.
Yeah, they have an old record store.
Puba used to drive all the way over there just to go there on Sundays and like have me time.
If you ever, if you ever want the best wings and best pizza, go to Roccoz.
Rockos in Pasadena.
It's crazy because I live right there and you guys are saying things that are so new to me.
Yeah
It's really nice
They also have that
Scientology thing
Don't visit that
Yeah
If you ever want to run into Tom Cruise
Yeah
And oddly
I know I'm in boxing now
But I knew if I'm ever in Pasina
I'm probably going to run into Oscar de laoya
Because I don't know if he lives by there
Has family over there
But that fool stays walking
Around there
No way
Yeah
And around the Scientology place
So I got questions
Oh no
The haunted forest
You go to a haunted forest
What's the haunted forest?
It's like a forest
It's called Cobb Estate
I think
Yeah.
Wow.
Something else that I found that about Pasadena, which may make it feel even cooler.
Did you know that Pasadena was the city?
It's the birthplace of the cheeseburger.
What?
Really?
Wow.
That's cool.
They invented the cheeseburger, you guys, the city of roses.
That's so awesome.
And it was actually a teenager.
They even have his name, Lionel Sternberger.
He was a clever chef who made a mistake and turned this meal, everyone started loving.
It was the first time someone at a spot called The Right Spot,
he had accidentally burned one side of a hamburger.
Instead of throwing it away, he put cheese on top of it.
To cover it up?
And that was the first instance of someone serving cheese on a burger to somebody.
He probably was like, oh, it's extra special.
It's charred with the cheese.
That's crazy.
That's how you spin it.
That's how you spin it.
I wish I could see the reaction of that person.
Right.
He's telling everybody look.
Or eating like, oh my God.
Yeah.
And now it's a thing.
You know Pasadena also has a lot of haunted houses.
Yeah.
They do?
No, why?
They have a lot of houses.
The bridge, the bridge.
The bridge too.
All right.
Well, shout out Pasadena.
Shout to Pasadena.
Probably can't afford to live there, but definitely visit.
My classmates were really high up there.
High up there.
High up there.
Well, yeah.
The Project X was based in Pasadena, if you guys remember that movie.
What do you mean based?
Great movie.
Like the house was.
No, like it was based at Pasadena High School.
Wow.
Going to go out again.
Super tight.
Wow.
All this time, Pasadena was in?
Yeah.
Yes.
It's lit.
I can't afford Pasadena so I might move to Altadina.
No.
We have Pasadena at home.
It's Altadina.
And then say, you're from Dina?
Yeah.
They don't know different.
They don't know which Dina.
That's all the Dinas out there.
Umbrazala with Anchi.
With me.
You're Angie.
I'm Angie.
Who are you?
Wow.
Wow.
Whoa.
I'm seeing all of you.
I don't know, Angie.
Who am I?
I'm still trying to figure it out.
Learning day by day.
Okay.
Okay.
What's something Gypsy Rose and Larsa Pippen have in common?
Oh, God.
Why do we keep...
Yeah.
Do you have it in common with them?
I don't know.
Where's Larsa's mom at?
Oh.
Nothing to do with moms.
Okay.
Nothing to do with moms, but it's that they're both.
doing the moes.
They're both T-M-I-ing.
Oh, yeah, they are.
On line, you guys.
You know how sometimes people be oversharing?
And then after they tell you, it's like, I did not need to know that.
You know all of that?
That's them right now.
So, Gypsy Rose, if you guys are remember, she went to jail because her mom was abusive.
She had her in a wheelchair.
She had her thinking.
Munchizer syndrome by proxy.
She was making her believe in the world believe that she was sick to get, like, either
emotional benefits of people giving her attention, financial benefits, all of that.
Yeah, she actually.
She did.
She got a whole house with all that.
Yeah.
And so Gypsy, yeah.
And then so Gypsy, you know, her and her boyfriend plotted and they, her mom, she went to jail.
But Gypsy just.
Her mom didn't go to Joe.
No.
Her mom went to.
Yeah, that's why I said.
Oh, okay.
I don't know if she went up.
Yeah, I don't know.
She might be looking up at us right now.
She's not with us anymore.
Yes.
But Gypsy did go to jail and her boyfriend also went to jail.
Gypsy just got out.
And then right now that she's out, she's like popping.
people love her she's getting so much support she has like a whole documentary out and she's like on a press run
and so they've been asking her like okay gypsy so like now that you're out what's like some activities that
you like to do and she was just like i am really obsessed with day drinking and smoking cigarettes in a public
park at 2 p.m kids hold on very specific gypsy yeah my favorite thing to do is day drink and smoke
cigarettes at a park yeah something like that
The way she says it is like
Downward Spiral
What?
Sounds like my time
She's my age, remember?
She's acting like a teenager
Yeah, she never got to be a teenager
Not a teenager because kids are in a car
She's not a teenager
She's not a teenager
She's not doing her kids smoke cigarettes
She's 32
She's acting like a young adult
Like a 21 plus year old
No but she continues
You think that was TMI I know
She continues
She's like with my hung husband
It gets me really excited
Ew
Again
Gypsy we don't
TMI
TMI girl
Givesy to send her back
I need somebody to talk to about me like that
We don't need any more liars
We're happy
We're happy for you girl
Yeah I'm happy
You got 8.3 million followers on IG
People love you
But it's just sometimes
Keep things to yourself
Gypsy
She doesn't know
Like social media
What is it?
Like
Not protocol
Cues
Yeah
Like she was in jail the whole time
So it's like
She doesn't know that you're not supposed to
You know what?
I feel like you would know it.
I feel like we're pobracitiaing her too much because I was watching, like I legit watch
this stuff.
It's part of my dateline activities.
Yeah.
I love that stuff.
And they had a whole thing.
They've been interviewing her since she's been in jail.
They've been talking to her.
She admits, like, you know, my mom made me a really good liar.
Yeah.
She's like that before.
Like, there were points in time where I knew I could walk.
But I also knew that I had to play like I didn't know how to walk.
Like, it's not like she found out and was like, oh, she was like, she understood.
Like she understood what she was doing what she was supposed to do in her mom's plan.
It was her mom's plan and she understood the part she played so much so that she started learning like manipulation tactics because it's being modeled to her, right?
Yeah.
And so she understood all of that.
And so now I'm like, I don't know what's the truth and what's a lie to be honest when you're right.
And even like how she got with her man like is because she got like a laptop from one of the like one charity gave her a laptop.
So she went in on like the Facebook stuff and and even while she was in jail, she had hell of boyfriends.
Before this one, she's like, yeah, I had it done my other fiancee to get with this fiance.
And like, she's like playing the game and understanding of a lot of stuff.
And so I know we look at it like, dang, that sucks.
And it does suck.
What happened to her does suck.
Yeah, of course.
But who she's become too in effect of that, it's also like, we got to be weary too of like giving this.
Not that she doesn't deserve a pedestal, but we got to be.
Someone in her life has to be responsible.
Yeah.
Like, and if they might have to be the public on this one.
No, absolutely, because it's like you're giving her a platform that I wouldn't necessarily say that she earned.
You know, it's an interesting story, but it's like the fact that she's in the new cycle so much, like, what's her job?
Right.
What does she do?
She's getting money.
Right.
Probably the same way she used to.
People, like, feeling bad for her and like, oh, here's money or here's this and here's that.
And it's like, like, like, Irene said, too, it's like, it's like the social cues.
It's like, you kind of know, like, oh, I smoke cigarettes.
It's like, bro, that's not cool.
Nobody likes cigarettes at all.
It's kind of like one of those things of like, you know, oh, look, I'm bad.
I'm bad.
And it's just like that's not cool.
And I feel like she also got schooled in jail.
Like there like there like taught her.
Because even when she's talking, like even on the comments when they were commenting
on her dude, she's like, oh no, this fire y'all.
Like she knows how to talk.
She's getting it.
Yeah.
She's understanding of it.
And I'm just a little bit like, am I being manipulated right now?
I feel like it.
That's how I feel about her.
Yeah.
Because I'm like, why are we praising her?
But it's like just as us,
as a whole, it's like every time we see like a person like that did something like that,
there's a lot of people that become fans just automatically.
So I feel like maybe it's like a little bit of that.
And then it's a little bit of like, oh, I feel bad for you.
And you got to think she's lived at her whole life of telling stories and getting your empathy
and getting your money.
That's life to her.
Exactly.
Like easy.
Hey, Camilla, I'll make you feel bad for me.
And even the voice she speaks in.
Yeah.
I'm sorry
And not to make her out to be the bad guy
But we also got to be very aware
That what she's been modeled
How she's been told to work the world
She's been taught to like she'd steal
Her whole life
She's been taught that
You can't expect her
If she's never seen like I guess
Like the normal balance
To now all of a sudden be normal
Just because mom's out the picture
Mom is still in her brain
Mom is in her actions
Mom is in her spirit
You know
So you just got to realize that part of it
That's why people continue
cycles because it's like you're continuing what you've been modeled yeah it's just a trip
you guys sound like haters right now she's on a high she okay with her well-hung man that's
oh my gosh she can't see no haters right now that's all she's saying no you're right in that same
dog she was supposed to get out and go live with her dad because her dad exists oh yeah her dad that
exists no way but i don't even think about her pops the mom told like even moved away really
far to like alienate her from her dad and like would check in from time to time i think there was also
like they lived wherever there was a really bad hurricane i don't know if it was katrina one of those
so the dad even thought that they had died at one point because yeah and because no one had reached out to him
a lot so she the the plan was for her to get out and go live with them then they find out like hey i met
this guy in jail after six months we're going to get married that's not healthy either at all it's not
Because this guy was writing to her and they interviewed the guy and he was like, yeah, it was like around the time Tiger King was on.
And like I was just seeing her like, like he's watching her story and thinking she's cute.
She's really cute.
Yeah.
And so he's, his friend is like, I want to write to Tiger King.
And he's like, okay, if you write to Tiger King, I'll write to Gypsy Rose.
And that's how they did.
That's how like they found each other.
But you got to think even that is not like a, he's in love with your trauma.
Exactly.
He's in love with that crazy.
He wants to be a part of the circus.
Yeah, that part.
And so, like, even understand, like, now I'm going to lock her down.
Like, the family was like, we think they should wait.
We think, like, date first, know the world first.
And she'll even talk about the relationship.
And she's, like, they think that, like, once I'm out in the world, I'll see other people.
And then be like, hey, I actually want that.
So he's very, like, he wants to, like, get me while he.
And it's like, that's a red flag, baby.
That's true.
The boyfriend that was.
what it all happened with, he's in for life.
Oh, yeah.
He's not getting it out of.
But also because he had a past of being doing some crazy hard stuff.
And again, he used her vulnerability to also be another predator in her life.
So if you already know, like, the vulnerability you have allows predators to come your way and use you, is this another one?
Yeah.
Like, it's just some crazy stuff.
Yeah.
The dude before her was caught up for some crazy things before.
And that's why they took that into account of when he did what he did.
Yeah, it's a lot.
Like, he just wanted to kill someone.
And she's like, if it wasn't killing her mom, it would have been somebody else that he killed.
Yeah.
So it was less about like, oh, yeah, my girlfriend made me do it.
It's wild.
It's a lot.
I know what documentary you were talking about.
I watched so many of them.
Yeah, because even Dr. Phil, he did an interview with her.
And she just kept saying, I'm nothing like my mom, but then you keep that up.
But she knows to say that.
What would happen if she said, I'm like my mom?
Yeah, she would have been.
How much of us are like our parents?
None of us are going to say it, but we're like our parents.
Oh, yeah.
That is true.
I'm not like my mom.
Kidding.
I'm like my dad more every day
She did address the haters like
She's on a high right now
She isn't a high and listen to her
Oh she's not high
I'm living my best life
And y'all can't take that from me
Yep
Is that even her real voice?
Is that even a real voice?
I feel like she does it on purpose
Yes, it is I think so
She's living her best life, guys
Let her be
No you know what she is
And there's parts of us that are like
See, this is a thing.
In retrospect, everything's going to make sense.
We should have done something.
We should have done something.
It always happens like that.
It should have known, blah, blah, blah.
But it's like in the moment we don't because we're like, hey, this is not our place.
Like even with the homie help line earlier, right, we had the girl that we're telling like, hey, listen to your family.
But then we're also saying like they shouldn't be telling you anything.
Yesterday's homey helpline, the family doesn't even know whether to come.
cut in or say something.
Yeah.
Because, like, it's like, do we say something?
Do we not?
It's a constant battle of how much can I tell you and communicate with you?
So maybe I don't communicate and then it gets worse.
Yeah.
Or maybe I do communicate and I'm in your business.
It's a delicate balance.
Yeah, there's really no good way about it.
Yeah.
So as it relates to gypsy heroes, I would just rather not, like, have years past and not have said this part.
Because it's just you got to be aware of that stuff, bro.
To just go from, like, you know, prison to a celebrity.
lifestyle is a lot.
Yeah, that's like a whole one.
You know what I'm saying for a completely...
Yeah, I know that's a
fashion of a model dude.
Yeah, for a completely like good-minded, like well,
healthy person in their mind.
Like, that would be a lot for them.
And for somebody that's dealt with a lot of like trauma in their past,
like that can't be...
Yeah, there's got to be some healing in there.
I hope she is going to therapy or something like that
because like you said, Vic,
that that's a lot to be taking in and a huge change quickly.
And that makes sense why she likes to drink and smoke cigarettes.
Day drink with her well-hung,
husband.
That's so bad.
She's really excited.
Okay, but now, Miss Larsa Pippin, she's out here doing the most in oversharing,
just like Jipsy, you guys.
What's she doing?
Because, you know how she's like, who's she doing?
Wow.
She's dating Marcus Jordan.
Yeah.
The son, yeah.
She used to be married to Scotty, you know, that relationship between Scotty Pippen,
Michael Jordan, and now ex-teamate.
Yeah, it's like a weird thing.
But she was sharing some details about her intimacy, which, again, I'm like,
Like, fool, we did not need to know.
Listen.
That's facts, but I also have five times a night with the love of my life.
I'm very competitive, so I like to say that.
You can complete yourself and keep going.
Larsa as my partner, absolutely.
We did not need to know that.
Five times?
That's big dog energy right there.
Five times a night.
But it's her thing because when she was with Scotty, she said the same thing, but she's like, it was four times.
So now she's like upping it with Marcus saying it's five times now.
Is she the both of them, Gypsy and Lars.
Is Larsa Pippin the Michael Jordan of that?
Yo.
She has rings for every time.
Is she the greatest of all time?
It's like what interview are you that they're asking you these questions or that you have to, you have the need to overshare that?
Oh my God.
I keep it to yourself.
We did it with Scotty and I did it with Marcus.
It's both of them.
Yeah, it's both.
I mean, she's the one that answered it.
And she's the one that started it.
And then he's like, well, yeah, it's, you know.
Yeah, I'm competitive.
I'm competitive.
And with Larsa, my partner, I know, you guys.
But both of them do we the most TMI.
In 2024, whatever couples, like, we're like, hey, this year, let's just, like, ramp it up and let the world.
Please don't.
Yeah.
Please don't.
Yeah.
We don't know.
I'm happy for you.
I'm happy.
She's going to let you finish again and again again.
But come on.
That's my question.
For 2024, you got that Larsa?
Oh my God.
Do you have that, do you have that Marcus?
You got to find out.
All right, we're getting out of this.
That's in for Somas.
Salambratio by our local Southern California's Toyota dealers.
I'm Angie from Brownback Morning.
I'm Power Wadows.
What's up?
This is Be Real from Cyprus Hill.
Where are you from, Es?
Don't you know I'm local?
All right.
We have done a lot of relationship damaging this show.
Yeah.
But if your relationship is making it through and you're thinking, wow, I really want to get married.
And you're thinking, you know, it would be cool doing it on Valentine's Day, but I don't know where to go.
Maybe you can try out this chapel in Long Beach.
It's called cute little wedding chapel.
And they're going to get you and your partner hitched for only $14 on Valentine's Day.
How much is it originally?
I don't know.
Maximo charges like a G.
Wow.
No way.
Okay.
Am I?
Put my prices up.
So for only $14.
For only $14, you can marry the love of your life at a Long Beach Chapel.
It's not bad.
On Valentine's Day.
$14 and then you bet half your stuff that you'll be with somebody for the rest of your life.
It's not a bad deal.
It doesn't even work like that.
You know, that's how you know you guys don't know anything about marriages.
Okay.
One, a pre-nup.
Two, you have to divide your assets and the stuff you get together and you have to list them out.
And then the judge decides what goes where.
So you're telling me I have to list my stuff and then watch it disappear.
No.
Half of it.
Half of it is real.
You shouldn't marry someone
if you're thinking of my stuff,
my,
my,
my, clearly you're still selfish.
If you're married with someone,
you divide your assets
like a house that you buy together.
That's not my house.
That's our house.
So she's being selfish too by taking it.
So keep your stupid little bike,
I promise you,
she's not going to want your bike.
So she can't steal like my record player or nothing?
No,
no.
It's just you guys being all,
oh, man.
And half of nothing is still nothing,
dog.
So it's your little freaking.
Y'all get so possessive over this stuff.
I don't know why she still wants to take it though.
Oh my God.
She still wants to take it for some reason.
So anyway, to the couples out there that love each other, Jesus.
No math.
$14.
And I think usually when you go there, it's like $85, $90, then there's like a notary fee, like $17, like $17 total.
Oh, that's a deal.
Yeah.
It's a steal.
No, no, no, but usually that's what happens.
Yeah.
Now it's going to be $14.
That's what I'm saying.
It's a steal.
That's really good.
So, Angie, is it good enough for you and Marcus to...
For the low, low price, a $14.
After all this, relationship, damn it, now I have to be thinking.
I'm like...
But you guys are in a good place.
You guys have been together at least a year, and you guys, he's still the same person, right?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And you're still the same person.
I think you should get married already.
Yeah, she'd get married already.
For like 50 bucks, you could get like two combo meals, get married, maybe even a little dessert.
You know what I'm saying?
Marriage and a budget?
Yeah.
Come on.
We go to whatever restaurants.
Greg knows that he knows the chef.
I'll get you some free food.
Where was it?
It's a lot of pizza.
It's right down the street from you.
Two for 20.
Exactly.
See it works.
This is Long Beach.
It'll be a drive.
Just know that I am with this year.
Angie did the TikTok, right?
And you did a TikTok of like what's going to happen to her this year.
Yeah, I did.
And what did the TikTok say?
It's like you put your face and then like something's saying.
Oh yeah.
And you know how I got it because of Irene?
Because I opened up TikTok, right?
And then I reined did the same thing.
Like your fortune was the first six months.
I'm like,
Okay, let me see what's going to happen for me.
And then it looked very happy.
Like, I'm going to get money.
I'm going to go on an adventure.
Or at least that's what I'm thinking, right?
And then on June, it popped up as a baby.
Oh, the baby.
So then I'm like, oh, maybe I'm feeling before.
So now it's up to you.
Do you want to get married before or do you have the baby or after you had a baby?
I don't know.
Can I do somersala when you're on pregnant leave?
I don't have insurance until I'll be here.
When you're on that pregnant thing?
Tommy, you better fix that.
Yeah.
Okay, that makes me mad every day.
All right, but yeah, just FY.
If you're thinking about it, Long Beach might be a good $14.
$14. Valentine's Day.
And let us know if you do it.
And if not, like, for the free outside,
Maximo is going to be slanging marriage licenses.
Yeah, for a loan.
Yeah, it's like, oh, they're saying 14.
I got you for five.
For $13.99.
Yeah.
Two for 10 honey packs on the side.
A little honey pack, and it comes with a coupon to Applebee's.
Oh, my God.
A coupon to Applebee.
That sounds like a good deal.
Yeah.
I like that.
It sounds like a Friday night.
Yeah, it was fun.
