Starting point is 00:00:00 Everybody's talking about Nicky Minaj on the internet. And we're going to talk about it too, because there's like the Kobe is the beef, the Angusist of beef, the grade Aest of beef that's going on. Top sirloin. Definitely top sirloin. I've been waiting for this. I'm like, finally, about, about time. No way.
Starting point is 00:00:19 Yeah, it was bound to happen. Yeah, it's that type of beef that like still has a blood on it. It's like medium, medium rare. Yeah, it's crazy out here. And we're going to get into the whole drama coming up at 7 o'clock. We also got you with our homie that's coming through 310, baby. If you like Soxity, oh, it's about to get wet in here. Just kidding.
Starting point is 00:00:38 Whoa. Whoa. Just kidding. He's like 18. Yeah, he's little. Yeah, he's little. It's hot outside, by the way. It was really high yesterday, yeah.
Starting point is 00:00:45 Yeah. Enjoy it for the next two days, Wednesday. We're going right back to the gym. Really? Uh-huh. Yeah. Right when I was about to watch my car again. Again?
Starting point is 00:00:52 You're so close. Yeah. Oh, so close. You can watch it right now. Today to have like a couple days of love. Yeah, but then it's going to rain. Oh, my God. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:00:59 My gosh, look at you. All right. And we also have to talk to you guys about Niners and Chiefs. That's all coming up today, all right? Plus, me and Maximum, we both went into like some boxing vibes this weekend. You held it down in Commerce in Los Angeles and I was over there in Phoenix, Arizona. By the way, shout out to all of our Phoenix, Arizona listeners. One, they're an hour ahead.
Starting point is 00:01:21 So all 7 o'clock their time. Two, they are the rowdiest crowd of it. I need to tell you what happened. I almost died. What? You're kidding. I almost died. Almost, I swear, I'll tell you about it after the break.
Starting point is 00:01:31 But look, we got a shout out the legendary. Orpa Winfrey. Happy birthday, Orpa. Oprah. No, it's Orpa. Who's that? Happy birthday, Orpa Winfrey. Can you guys clap?
Starting point is 00:01:44 Oh, right. Happy birthday, Orpher. Yeah, I don't know if y'all knew this, but her name is really Orpa Winfrey. What? Yes, Oprah Winfrey's real name is Orpa Winfrey. And actually, she was named after someone in the Bible in the Book of Ruth. I didn't even know there was a book of Ruth. There is a book on Ruth.
Starting point is 00:01:59 Yeah, see? And she was named after somebody in that book. Her name as Orpa, but people couldn't pronounce it or spell it correctly. So they started calling her Oprah and she just took it. And she ran with it. And she ran with it. And she made it a crazy. Yeah, y'all thought I was.
Starting point is 00:02:14 Yeah, I was like, are you going to stoke right now or something? Are you good? No. I was not. I was like, uh, she got a case of the Mondays. They wanted to. And I'll shake it off in the next break. I really thought Lettie was going to be like, oh,
Starting point is 00:02:27 Orca, like, oh, the little orca. The whale. I was going to call Oprah Winfrey, the whale. That's crazy, Angie. Her actual name is Orpa Winfrey. It was just misspelled all the time and mispronounced. So she's like, you know, whatever, it's going to stick Oprah. I'm just going to make it one of the biggest brands in the world.
Starting point is 00:02:42 It's like one of those things where Latino parents put Estivan instead of Stephen. They put a E? What do you mean? I've met the guy named Esteban. Yeah, but then he went up and been like, yeah, I'm Estevan. Yeah. The whole time. Estabon.
Starting point is 00:02:55 It's crazy. That's crazy. too. Stephanie? Yeah, Stephanie. Where they mix up the names. Spell it wrong. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:01 Or it could be like in school. You know when the name is called, the roll call, they just never get it right. Oh, yeah. Like, all right. Like, I'm just going to go with that. No worries. That's so tight. Shout out of it.
Starting point is 00:03:11 Also back then, they used to like kind of edit your name anyway, right? Like, maybe it happened unintentionally, but like back then they used to try to make your name as, as like easy as possible. I don't know. Maybe it was a typewriter. Yeah. How would they say your last name? They wouldn't. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:28 Victor you. They just say, I would have to change my name like Charlie Sheen. Yeah, they're like Gregory Kande. And I'm like, that's... Oh, got it. Use accent, sir. Use Xenzer.
Starting point is 00:03:39 Yeah, but shout out to baby girl. Look, coming up next, we got to tell you how I almost died in Phoenix. Yes. Thank God you made it out. Yeah, I know. Oh, my God. You're here. You see, though.
Starting point is 00:03:48 And my guy, you had an incredible time in commerce, right? With a new up-and-comer in boxing. We'll talk about that. It's Power 106. All right. We have to talk about this weekend's boxing man. It was such an amazing time. I got to tell you, I went out to Phoenix, Arizona.
Starting point is 00:04:10 Phoenix, Arizona, I didn't think they had it in them. They had it in them. The crowd was crazy. I got to say one of my favorite fight crowds. And I've been to the Vegas fight crowds. I've seen fight crowds out here in L.A., the crypto.com arena. I saw the tank and people fight.
Starting point is 00:04:25 out here. That was cool, but it had nothing on Phoenix. And I don't know if it's because nothing happens over there. They're thirsty for green. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. It happened like at this place called the Footprint Center and it's where the Sun's play. And all I was doing, I was like, oh, the Crypto's way bigger than this. That's what I'm doing. I was so mad just being at the sun where the Sun's play. Hey, and, and Lo-key, Footprint Center is right next to where the Diamondbacks play. Like, right across the street. You would be. like in crypto and Dodger Stadium were right next to each other and I know they're pretty close but that feels very like too much yeah yeah that's how a lot of sports towns are like they'll do a whole
Starting point is 00:05:06 like this is the sports district yeah in a way it would feel too crap I just kept thinking if dodger stadium was right next to crypto or the other way around it would be just too much well that's how they're building inguil yeah think about that that's when rams and clippers yeah it just feels I bet the phoenix it feels compressed yay and then like once you leave that little area it's just empty. Yeah, it's just desert. Yeah. No wonder you guys listen to us. No, a lot of people in Phoenix love us and you know what's crazy. I ran into this really hot girl and she was like, Leti, oh my God, like, I knew you were
Starting point is 00:05:37 going to be here. And I was like, if at least I find her, they don't make tonight worth it. And her name is Rosario and she actually moved from here to there. So listening to us makes them feel at home again. Wow, that's so tight. That's awesome. Thank you guys for tapping in. But let's talk about this fight. Mungia Ryder.
Starting point is 00:05:54 Now, this is important because writer is the guy who fought Canelo in Wadalajara. Like when Canelo had this big old Wadalada fight. It was like a concert slash. There was a little fight at the end. Yes. Yes. What do they call the horse things that it's a Spanish name when it's like this big horse? Oh, I forgot what they're called.
Starting point is 00:06:17 Yes. Haripo? Haripo. It's like a Haripo, size concert, Picolandia. All of that. And a boxing fight happened too. And he was versus Ryder. Ryder, when I look at him,
Starting point is 00:06:28 this fool just looks like Canelo Brunette. Just think of a Brunette Canelo. That's John Ryder, right? That dude was cut too. But like, yes, short stocky. And what ended up happening is people criticized that fight because Canelo didn't knock him out because it was very, very close.
Starting point is 00:06:41 And Ryder took some hits, but like it just felt like, oh, we expected more from like a big old, like welcoming back to Mexico from Canelo. Yeah. Now, fast forward to now. Mungiai. He is beyond a prospect.
Starting point is 00:06:55 This guy is an incredible fighter. He's a beast. He's from TJ, Baja California. Like, he has a baby mama that worked at Hong Kong. Like, this fool. Yeah, like this fool is the T.J. dream. I'm telling you. Wow, I'm fired, but I was water boy.
Starting point is 00:07:09 They want to set him up to fight Canelo. Like, it's all, everyone wants to fight Canelo, right? Yeah. And this fight, it's like, if you're not going to fight me, Canelo, I'm going to fight the fools you fought, and I'm going to fight them better. What ended up happening at the time, this fight was insane. Like probably since the second round,
Starting point is 00:07:26 Ryder kept falling. Like, Mungia was just going in on him. Kept knocking him down. Kept knocking him down. So much that they ended up calling the fight and you need to check out how it went down. Check us out. 430-knockouts.
Starting point is 00:07:56 It was insane to see. It was beautiful to see. Like, just the stoppage and all of that. It's crazy because he was knocking him down, knocking him down, and he had him against the ropes. And the corner was like, ref, stop the fight. The ref didn't even see.
Starting point is 00:08:09 See it took, you know, you know how you hear the bell? Usually the ref stops it. But they had to ring the bell because the ref didn't see it. He wasn't paying attention. He was looking at like, hey, he's just going to God. Yeah. The ref was into it like, oh, oh, whoa. It was really crazy, but it was beautiful to see what happened when Mungia.
Starting point is 00:08:25 And I got a shout out to Phoenix crowd. They are not one to take, like if there's no action during fights, they're going to be upset. They were undercard fights, right? And shout out to my guy Darius because he did a great job, but they were just not messing with the, They're just not messing with the fight. So they started doing the wave. Wow. I have never in my life seen the wave at a boxing match.
Starting point is 00:08:48 That doesn't happen. You're paying attention to the fight. So imagine two fighters, they're giving it they're all. They're going at it. But the thing is those two fighters, they were calling phone booth boxing, which is they were so close. They were hugging. It wasn't, like, the crowd wasn't, they were upset.
Starting point is 00:09:03 It wasn't, like, visually appealing because even if they're hurting each other, it doesn't seem like it from far away. far away. It looks like they're hugging. And so like a group of fools that were definitely turned. They started trying to like start the wave. No, we do it. But once it got started, you just see it fly all around and all around.
Starting point is 00:09:21 But imagine being a fighter. You're fighting for your life and you just see the crowd like not giving an ish about you. Well, you don't want to mess up the wave. Like, you know what I'm saying? If you're in the crowd or you can't be the one that doesn't like keep it going. Bro, I got to get the video clip. I'm waiting for the video of that fight to like hit YouTube. Because literally they're fighting.
Starting point is 00:09:39 It's a boxing match and you just see the wave going around. And it was crazy. That's what we do. We're not having fun. When we're not having fun, we just make our own fun. Maximo, you were at the Commerce Casino this past weekend too. I was at the Commerce Casino and Omar Trinidad from Boyle Heights was fighting Jose Perez, who I believe is from San Bernardino.
Starting point is 00:09:59 Nice. And honestly, because the cities are fairly close to the commerce, it was like the crowd was split. and you could feel the energy. Love it. It was very intense. And you could just see family against family. And, like, you know, the crowd was waiting for this fight. The fight was going on.
Starting point is 00:10:17 And it was honestly a pretty fair fight throughout, like, the first six rounds. And I think it was the seventh. He caught him with a left hook. Trinidad? Trinidad. Omar Trinidad caught Perez with a crazy left hook that just took him out. And honestly, like, the energy in the place just went nuts. and after that he pretty much won the fight.
Starting point is 00:10:39 You know, it was one of those hits that honestly I would have probably stayed down for a few seconds. But I think a lot of boxers, you know, they have like that. They don't want to look like, like, defeated. So he popped back up right away and was ready to go instead of taking that time. He probably got up so fast, he didn't know how he heard he was. He didn't. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:10:59 It was one of those things. Before it registered in his mind, he was like, I'm up. Yeah, he's like, no, I'm good. And he just popped up and kept going. The ref called the fight, and he ended up fracturing his jaw. Oh, Mark to his opponent. Yeah, Omar fractured. Our baby girl, Yalene, has been up on him since the jump.
Starting point is 00:11:17 She's from East Lowe's, and she's like, you got to check this guy out. He's going to be the next star. He's going to be the next star. And I was peeping everything that was going on with this kid, and he has it. He has it. He just needs to keep on, head straight, all of that. But it looks like he's ready to be like that next one to represent Los Angeles. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:35 For sure. You know? And this win is actually going to put them in the rankings. Oh, wow. And funny enough, Yeline was sitting next to me. And the whole time she's like, oh, it's coming. Oh, his chest went down, dipped like half an inch. He's tired.
Starting point is 00:11:49 Like, she's so technical. I was like, this is crazy. Like, I pretty much had an announcer sitting next to me. That part. Yeah, man. But it was a beautiful fight. And I think it was great for, like, Los Angeles and just boxing in general. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:03 But I'm looking forward to, you know, having Omar, seeing Omar train that grow in the boxing space and really make his mark. That's so dope. Letty, how'd you almost die? Oh, thank you for asking. Yeah. So I need to use the restroom. Uh-huh.
Starting point is 00:12:18 And they had clothes like stuff at the floor. So I had to walk up and I was in heels. So I walked up and it's during the Mungia fights. I'm like, cool. I'm not going to have any, I'm not going to have any weight in the, in the restroom. Yeah. So I went up and then when I was coming down, it's crazy because he had, he had, he had, had hit writer and writer fell right right writer was like on the ground so everyone's just cheering uproar right
Starting point is 00:12:40 yeah so i kind of i'm walking down and i stumble i literally fell from the stairs like i tumbled yes and i'm like i'm going to die and no one's going to care because this is going like literally imagine it's the it's the it was the first time he had knocked down rider everybody's cheering and i was at the top of the stairs and i tumbled down and i was just like oh my god i'm about to die every no one's going to care until like after it settles down they're just going to see a dead body right there on the stairs. Thankfully, I caught like the, like the rail and like help me up. But dog, my whole legs, all of that is messed up.
Starting point is 00:13:15 And then I like had to get up like nothing happened. Like, oh, okay. I just put my heels back on and walk, stumble the next, the rest of the way. I legit thought I was going to die because it's so high. You know when you walk up? Yeah. And then when you walk down. So no one saw you.
Starting point is 00:13:29 No, everyone was cheering for the knockdown. I was like, this is the craziest way to die. Like, all right, Peter, our sister. let the you know she died watching what she loved a knockdown she left her footprint at the footprint arena yeah isn't falling as an adult the worst thing yeah it's so embarrassing yes it's not embarrassing because no one saw you well they saw me when they try to get back up like you know you could always see somebody that just like fell yeah but like just by the way that they're walking after yes and you just see
Starting point is 00:14:00 them you're trying to be as normal as possible as possible you're trying to act like The fall never happened. I just wanted to fix my heel real quick. Yes. And I had to grab my heel from like two steps back. I'm like, hold on. When we grabbed this heel, there was a drunker like, you're okay, girl. Like, no, she's not going to help me.
Starting point is 00:14:16 No. She's like, okay. Oh, you're good. And I'm like, dang. It was hard out here. Yeah. All right. Well, that was me.
Starting point is 00:14:22 But you caught up with Arnold Barbosa. I did catch up with Arnold Babosa. You know, we interviewed him last week. And it was cool to see him and just connect because he, he remembered me and we were just chopping it up about him coming here and loving the show. show, but he gave his recap on the fight and on Omar Trinidad. Excellent performance.
Starting point is 00:14:40 I'm happy for him, proud of him. You know, man, he's making statements. Hey, man, I'm just, I couldn't be happy for him, man. I see the work that he puts in the gym, you know what I mean? Sky's the limit for them, man. Come on. That's cool. your boxing match, especially when it's, I wouldn't say low level, but it's on the rise
Starting point is 00:15:09 type of boxing match, right? You know, it's not something that's like on a paper view or it's not something that's like a casino and it's like that's where like local talent is like, that's where you find them. Exactly. And that's really cool that Arnold is right there. I know he's trying to be like, hey, come, come, hey, you want to king course. Yeah, but he's 15 and no. Can be Kulakuan Kenos. 15 and no, 11 knockouts. Shout out of my gosh. I'm looking forward to seeing that full, from Boy Heights. And I know that he's gonna make Boy Heights get more free stuff so I was just like Oh
Starting point is 00:15:38 They're gonna be even more on the map Yeah How can you be more on the map you're already on the map a lot Yeah Come on B'am yeah Can't be put on the map again Like keep it here because all the way we got Scrolling with our homie Greg is Power 106
Starting point is 00:15:51 LA's number one for hip hop Scrolling with the homies Gregory Letty It looks like we're gonna be having a Swifty Super Bowl Yeah of course dude Imagine her first year in the game
Starting point is 00:16:03 She's already in like he's already at the Super Bowl? Yeah. Wow, what a rookie. Shout it to our girl, Taylor Swift. But people are not happy. First year in the league. Already made it to the Super Bowl.
Starting point is 00:16:13 Come on, baby girl. She's the 12th man on the field. Thanks, the way they pant to her. Yes. Nobody is happy about it at all, though. There's a lot of people happy. She's happy. Anybody under the age of maybe 17 is happy about this.
Starting point is 00:16:29 Anybody over the age of 17 is not happy about Taylor Swift being there. Yeah, I feel like I'm inside her brain the way, like, much they pan to her. Exactly. I'm gonna start a drinking game. What did she think about that three-yard game? She might as well commentate. So the Niners and the Chiefs are going to the Super Bowl.
Starting point is 00:16:43 Yeah, yeah. Right. I told you so. I told you so. Oh, I said it'll be a bloody Super Bowl because we've all red. That makes a lot of sense because Taylor doesn't,
Starting point is 00:16:56 doesn't Taylor Swift have the red album? Wow. Now it makes sense now. Yes, the Red Super Bowl. Taylor's edition. The script. I think we need to investigate that one. And of course Taylor Swift was supporting her man, Travis Kelsey, in the booth.
Starting point is 00:17:09 And when she was walking into this past game with the Baltimore playing the Baltimore Ravens, in the hallway, the fans had some words for her and they weren't very nice. Listen to this. That's so me. Yep, they're ruining football. And the dude is grown man is cussing at her as well the whole time. No way. They were in Baltimore, right?
Starting point is 00:17:34 Yeah. Were they Raven fans? Savages. Yeah. Or Chiefs fans? You can't really see who's at the cameras pointing towards her. But it has to be Ravens fan. Man, that's me.
Starting point is 00:17:44 That is me. All she's doing is supporting her man. Hold on. Play one more time because you hear a Taylor Swift fan try to drown it out. Hey, Taylor. The girls said, I love you, Taylor. Don't listen to them. We love you.
Starting point is 00:18:03 Poor Tate. I feel for her. I mean, she just walked right. But it's not her fault. Like I said, she's just supporting her men. Well, look, this is part of the game. Trash talk. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:18:13 You know, if you're going to be tough. And they're cheering, you're going to have to do with the other side, you know, being upset. It's football at the end of the day. Football. Good old-fashioned football. With this, all I get you. All I could think of is protect Usher at all costs because I don't want him to somehow not be able to perform at the half-time show. And it's a Taylor Shoeo.
Starting point is 00:18:29 Our white savior? Yeah. Don't worry about this, guys. Sometimes you just got to shake it off. Yeah. Oh, no. She had a whole show plan? Yeah, she comes down from the suite, like, on the zip line.
Starting point is 00:18:41 You know why? I don't think that will happen. Okay. So I literally saw this TikTok of people. They're massing out if she's going to make it to the Super Bowl. She has three Japan shows the three days before the Super Bowl. And they literally were calculating, okay, Japan, let's say it ends at 11 p.m. Japan time. That means it's going to be boom, Vegas time.
Starting point is 00:19:02 That means if she takes a flight, she will make it at this time, Vegas time. They're like trying to jot out. She's going to be hella jet like. She's going to be hella like everything. She's definitely going to make it. Yeah. Performing, if she has all those shows, no.
Starting point is 00:19:16 But, like, she's going to, like, tell the private jet, like, step on. Right, right. Step on. It's, like, a big headline that says, can Taylor Swift make it to the Super Bowl after her Tokyo show? Yeah, that's a whole thing. That's what we're talking about here. That's what we're concerned about right now.
Starting point is 00:19:31 No, I was more concerned. Well, Tay, Tay make it. Yeah. I didn't even think about that. I just assumed she was going to be. That she's just not on, like, oh, my God, whatever this guy is. I wouldn't be surprised if she cancels one of the shows. If they got three, she cancels one of them for the Super Bowl.
Starting point is 00:19:43 It's her boyfriend playing in the Super Bowl. And then come back, but what is she going to tell them? I got to support my man. No, that's not a... Yeah. And then you just see it like... I know that that's... I know that that's...
Starting point is 00:19:56 There's a lot of anti-her. There's a lot of pro-her. Yeah. But I just think it's like, yeah, that's the couple. They're the eight couple right now. Yeah. All eyes are on them. And you see they finally made their announcement that they're together by kissing each other on the field.
Starting point is 00:20:07 Oh, that's their like their official... It wasn't her being there at every single game. Well, no, it's because they were... Are them talking about it on podcasts? They weren't all lovey-dovey with each other until then. Like they never kissed each other. Oh, like, PDA. Yeah, they don't know what to do either.
Starting point is 00:20:21 Yeah, it was very awkward. You're like, kissing your forehead, kissing the side of her mouth. You know what you miss a little bit? They're like, what was our scene? Yeah. You know what it is, though? Because she had red lipstick on. Sometimes, like, if you're a dude, you don't know, like, if you're going to kiss him,
Starting point is 00:20:36 and go on you or where to go or whatever. That's probably what I was. She probably double-took. She's like, don't mess on my lipstick. Yeah, don't miss on my lipstick. And he just probably. Like, dude, he's going to be wearing red lipstick, although it would match the Chiefs. Yes.
Starting point is 00:20:46 Yeah. Yeah. But yeah, fans are not happy about Taylor Swift being part of football now. Yeah. Can't wait to see what jerseys people are wearing for the Super Bowl. You're going to be pink. I feel like people are going to wear Swift jerseys. People are going to get custom Swift jerseys.
Starting point is 00:21:00 Oh, yeah, you're right. With his number. For sure. Yeah, with his number and then the colors. I hope not, man. Clifties. Yeah, it's going to be a lot of, like, girls are going to host Super Bowl parties. I think for, like, the first time ever.
Starting point is 00:21:12 Just Super Bowl. Yeah. gonna be like the Tay Taye game yeah oh yeah my chief man no he's gonna ruin that my whole year of football my uncle's already starting the bets if they're gonna be over 10 times or under 10 times they show taylor swift oh yeah prop bits yeah yeah probably yeah that's gonna be crazy yeah i say 10 over 10 for sure over 10 yeah no matter what it's gonna be my c tv no you know what they're gonna do they're going to pan to her during usher and we're going to be like why oh no her reaction to usher performing no no her dancing to usher performing yeah we don't need to see anything he would have like legit
Starting point is 00:21:47 choreography but we're going to be watching her her dancing that would get me mad that would get me mad that would be really yeah i didn't think about that either you know her favorite songs and to be yeah yeah just be like hands up a little bit shout to taylor Smith you know what as as upset as you may be, I'm sure that the NFL likes that more people are tuning in. Like, if y'all had it down and y'all were tuned in like that, we wouldn't need a Taylor Swift to come save it. So we're always
Starting point is 00:22:14 always been good. It's always been good. Kelsey made Taylor Swift's career. Come on now. We all know that. Come on. I agree. I agree. Ever since they got together, Taylor's been selling out all her shows. Exactly. Yeah. No, no, let them. Let them. It's also stupid. Because literally like the truth exists. And she's got out more coverage. Yes. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. She gets seen
Starting point is 00:22:33 every Sunday now. Every Sunday. I never used to see her on Sunday before. Exactly. Every Sunday she's on TV. Jesus. Yeah. Shout out her.
Starting point is 00:22:41 Shout out Kelsey. Thank you for making Taylor Swift. Like every man always thinks he makes a woman. You said it out. Yep, exactly. Thank you. Pointing out the truth. The truth is finally out.
Starting point is 00:22:52 Oh, you guys are sad. That's okay. Let them take the credit like that we do. Y'all want to come to do the job? Come on. Go. Go. Go.
Starting point is 00:23:02 Take your commercial. No, hold on. Just kidding. Come on, come on a little bell. I had a nightmare about this. All right. Rosecrans. Word on Rosecrans.
Starting point is 00:23:14 What's the work? Megan the Stallion threw a jab at Nikki Minaj and all hell broke loose online. Oh, yeah. All right, look. So Friday, Megan the Stallion dropped a brand new single titled Hiss, and she unloaded the clip on several people, okay? But she didn't mention any of them by name,
Starting point is 00:23:30 but by doing a little female rapper girl match. it wasn't hard to figure out, all right? So listen to this. They're not mad at Megan's law. I don't really know what the problem is, but I guarantee you I don't want me to check me. She was never feeling a check me. She was referencing Nikki's husband who was convicted of something heinous when he was 16 and now he has to register as a sex offender and it's minors like Megan's law is specific
Starting point is 00:24:08 to minor stuff yeah with not just yeah got it yeah and so lots of people you know put two and two together and they were like oh my god she came for Nikki and it was like it was one bar and it was a jab to me it was like a response to when Nikki did this the hundred on the horses when we're fixing the leaves but I'm with horses since Christopher Reeves that was last year that was last year and it was last year and it was It was kind of like, is she talking about Megan? Who else is like, you know, has a horse in their name? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:38 You know. All these sub-discis and then. But like Megan said in an interview, she said, a hit dog on holler. Like, you're going to holler if you know it's for you. And there was hollering. Yes. There was a lot of hollering. Absolutely.
Starting point is 00:24:50 It caused chaos online as soon as Nikki got wind of it. She went on IG live for what seemed like hours saying things like, you're bringing your up 30-year-old tea because no man will ever love you. Nikki called Megan a disgusting serpent Like she just went in on her Right And then Nikki hopped in the booth And recorded a diss of her own Sween on your dead mother when you lie
Starting point is 00:25:15 And yo this little begging Talk about Megan's law For a free beat you Megan Raw If you're a ghost right a party in Megan jaw So yeah Yeah she said that Talking about party partisan
Starting point is 00:25:29 You know that used to ghost write for her stuff Yeah. And then she wasn't done, all right? It was like a four-minute disc, but then she went on to put out all her business in the bars. All Megan's business. All Megan's business in the bars. Listen to this.
Starting point is 00:25:43 They got you all them grandmys, but your flow still are no. With a fiasco loop bag. Future may you pay. She want to party with the baby while rubbing a Tori dupe. I guess she needed money bags for them trace on. She cheat easy. Car made a core for. Wow.
Starting point is 00:25:59 Yeah. So she's, who. Well, we can't confirm that, but she's using men's names and rap, alluding to those are people that Meg slept with. Yes, exactly. And so everybody was just like, oh, my God. It was like, it was a diss for the ages, you know, whether you like it or not, like, just the way she went on it was very, like, she sent a lot of venom towards Megan. Yeah. Even the hook, like, was like, like, you lied on your dead mama.
Starting point is 00:26:29 Yeah. Like, it was just like, damn. Like, she did not hold back one bit. And, you know, coming from knowing, loving battle rap and beef rap and all of that, nothing is off limits. Yes. You know, like, it's not the push-a-tee Drake disc where we're like, oh, please don't talk about the producers. No, it's like when you rap and you really rap, nothing is off limits. And so she's going in, she's hitting up dead mom talk.
Starting point is 00:26:54 And the thing is with Meg in her song, hiss, which she said, it's. I'm calling myself a snake. Yeah. She's saying, I'm hissing at you guys so you know this is a warning. Yeah. Keep talking about me. I'm going to come at you. And I think there was years and probably, of course, agitation.
Starting point is 00:27:11 Both these women have been agitated by social media, by the industry. They've been put at odds with other people. I'm sure they both feel like the truth isn't out, that people are misunderstanding them. And so I would think, like, this would be the perfect actual women that could understand each other. But it seems like they're both coming at each other. They're doing the work of what everybody else was doing towards them. Like, you know what I'm saying? Like, they're destroying each other, and that's what the world wants.
Starting point is 00:27:37 That's how I'm looking at it, right? There were disses in that, like, that I'm like, I don't know that you should talk. Like, and I love Nikki. But, like, you can't talk about a party who was a ghostwriter when, like, you were with Safari. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:49 Yeah. There was a line about a minor, like Megan messing with a minor, which is a legend, yeah, theoretical, whatever. But it's like, look, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It's like, don't do that. Like it's just not necessary.
Starting point is 00:28:01 It kind of backfires towards. It backfires towards me because it's like, are you hearing this stuff back? Yeah. You know? Are you hearing what you're doing back? And I'm sure with Nikki, she's just been so upset for so long. And she sees people clicking up as women in rap. And she's like, you know what?
Starting point is 00:28:16 I have to say something. I have to stand my ground. Initially what she's saying is the cause between her riff with Megan is that while they were cool, because they were cool at one point, there's photos of them together. It was love shown. They had Hot Girl something. I love that song. That Nikki was trying to get pregnant and that there was a time where she might have thought she was pregnant or she was pregnant.
Starting point is 00:28:39 And Meg's like, you know who cares? Like still drink this henny or still drink this liquor. And ah, you could just get rid of it. Which I could see, lo-key be playful within girl circles. Like, oh, girls, like have some friends and say some things. But when Nikki was truly trying for a baby, that hit her a certain way. and that's what she says sparked the disconnect with Megan. Other people can say Megan's friendship with Cardi caused the disconnect with Nicky.
Starting point is 00:29:08 I'm sure that didn't help at all. Which seems likely because it doesn't seem like they have mutual friends with the same person. It seems like you're kind of in rap. Got to choose between Cardi or Nikki. There's like two sides. When it comes to girls in hip-hop. Absolutely. So, yeah, that was just, ooh, man, that was, it was a lot.
Starting point is 00:29:25 And now you've got to think, like, is Megan going to receive? respond to any of this? Yeah, Megan's a rapper. You know? Megan is a rapper. Megan's going to respond. You think so because she looks really unbothered. I mean, she was out here in LA. She's going to respond on LAC. She hasn't said anything. All she did was like post on her IG story like number one trending. Yeah. That's it. She's going to respond.
Starting point is 00:29:45 Because she responded already. The hiss is a response. Yeah. And in his she says, shut up now or I'm a guy. I got more. Like I got more in the tug. And that was right after the bars about about the Megan's lost stuff. Yeah. She's ready. They're both ready. And now that they put names on it, right? So it's a little more personal.
Starting point is 00:30:04 And I think it's going to be. No, she means like Megan and Nicklin. Yeah. Lupe? You're going to be like Lupe Fiasco video. Can we talk about the Lupe Fialco bar? That was the most surprising thing of the whole thing. Shut up Lupe.
Starting point is 00:30:17 Hey, I wanted to tap up Lupe after I heard that. Hey. Keep going playing? Yeah. He was the most unlikely suspect. That's why I'm like, wait. I feel like Lupe. got something to say.
Starting point is 00:30:28 He's not so, because shout out, one shout out Lupe Fiasco. Yeah. Rapper's rapper. Of course. Megan is a rapper. You would see, I could understand where they'd be in the same circle.
Starting point is 00:30:38 I don't want to put any type of connection on them. Because Loki, even, even who you sleep with, why is that a diss? No, yeah. Especially with Megda Staling, who says she's been saying like, yeah, I do this.
Starting point is 00:30:49 Like, I never said I was holier than thou. Like, I'd be saying, like, I'm out with people. You heard what? Yeah. Like, this is it. You're not going to diss me, by saying people I've slept with if that's what she was saying. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:00 Because I don't mind people knowing. Like right now it's like that's what y'all think is it is. This is who I am. Exactly. Yeah. Irene made a good point earlier. It was like a lot of the names that Nikki named, we already kind of knew, you know, there was an association there.
Starting point is 00:31:14 You know, to me, though, the only shotgun was Lupe Fiasco. I don't know. Yeah, me too. See them cross the paths. Leapel woke up this morning like, ah, yeah, it's a great day today. Y'all, y'all know how I am? Yeah. Y'all know my game.
Starting point is 00:31:25 You know, I still be kick pushing out here. I love you feel like it just rhyme with fiasco, Lupe. Like, I feel like it was that bar. I thought so, too, maybe, but I don't know. It was just the fact that she named, and maybe she wanted that to create. Exactly. That's what I want to know. It's probably after a night of food and liquor.
Starting point is 00:31:42 Great album, by the way. She probably thought he was just like the coolest guy. Great album, by the way. Lasers, no, I don't know. All right, well, that was your word on roast cramps. That's it? No. What?
Starting point is 00:31:57 you want to talk about no this this thing is going to go crazy and we know that wanted to like no remember how Nikki's so much Megan has 24 hours to respond back otherwise to say sorry yeah to say sorry otherwise she put out like a notice it's funny because when Remy went at Nikki there people were upset at how long it took Nikki to come back yeah oh yeah her song no frauds yeah which she said was like
Starting point is 00:32:25 it's not a did it ended up not really be it was a slight this you kind of said something you didn't really go at the Remy thing you just made like a hit song which shouted to you with Drake and Little Wayne but I thought it was so funny too that before this song dropped Bigfoot people were blogging that it's going to be a diss song
Starting point is 00:32:41 the diss song comes out and like the artwork was crazy it's Nikki's shoe over like a Bigfoot print and she was like this isn't a diss song she was getting mad at the blogs for calling it a this song and it's a diss song by every definition of this song into this song.
Starting point is 00:32:58 And then she tweeted all the lyrics so no one had anything confused. And then she gave vocals only. Yeah, she put the on capel out. And she said, this is so you can put it on any beat. Like, go put it on any beat. Put it on any beat. Put on any beat. Put on it.
Starting point is 00:33:09 Yeah. Put on it on it. I got you. I thought she did it for like, if you didn't hear me the first time, here's the second time. You hear me. Here's more clear. Exactly. Get me more clear.
Starting point is 00:33:16 I was thinking about this, though. Jay Z. Rock Nation. All of that. Of course, Megan is a client. Megan is part of the crew. However, Jay Z is close with Nikki. Like, they have a.
Starting point is 00:33:27 camaraderie. I know Nikki respects Jay-Z like no other. He gives her advice, like especially when she was going through her own scrutiny of people coming at her. He's the one that gave her advice. Like, look, you would rather be hated right now
Starting point is 00:33:39 because if you weren't, that mean no one pays attention. You're not a threat. And there's certain people like us that are like top tier at what we do that are going to have attacks coming towards up. He would give her that type of conversation. And now he probably has to give the same conversation to Megan.
Starting point is 00:33:53 And it's weird because it just puts them in a tricky space. I always think of the different players. not just the two in the middle, but the different players and what this does, because that is Rock Nation. That is Jay-Z's company brand, all of that. What would he have to say in this? What about Beyonce?
Starting point is 00:34:09 Beyonce, who's homies, home girls. Yeah, the Savage remix, but then also, like this pits a lot of people against, like, it's not as easy to choose sides for this. Yeah. I think maybe only Beyonce can save this. How? Imagine you get a call from Beyonce.
Starting point is 00:34:24 It's like putting you guys on a three-way. Yeah. You have to respect the queen. You have to respect Beyonce. You do. But I would think that, yeah, it's going to be tough. It's not over. And I'm also wondering if this was made to entice Cardi.
Starting point is 00:34:39 Because also remember that story that was out last week about what supposedly Megan called Cardi? Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. What was that? Did Nikki say that? Nikki was going on a rant and supposedly she was saying that Megan calls one of her friends that collaborates with her all the time, a dirty Mexican. And people are saying that She's talking about Which would be like
Starting point is 00:35:00 The Latina that she collabs with Which I'm like full You can't put all the beans in the same pot With different Which also is card That makes sense Yeah Because people just saying everyone's Mexican
Starting point is 00:35:09 If they say a Latina right But that's her just trying to Yeah That's really the beef That's really the beef that everybody's kind of been Like waiting for on wax You know Because there's like there has only been
Starting point is 00:35:21 Maybe a few slight jabs or anything But the two haven't really gone full for The two hoop. Nikki and who. Nicky and Cardi. Like song versus song. Gotcha. Because she tried to get physical with her.
Starting point is 00:35:33 Cardi. Yeah. It didn't actually. Yeah. I'm like, she's worth real life. They were trying to box. But yeah, that is interesting.
Starting point is 00:35:40 Yeah, like you said, there's all the like surrounding players and just like what people think. And then I think, uh, Nikki was also promoting partisan's music. Party hair. Yes. Yeah. Megan's ex.
Starting point is 00:35:51 Like she was like tweeting his, his, his, uh, his music like, hey, listen to this song. It was the, uh, he was the, he was, She was promoting the disc song that Partisan had dropped after Megan was accusing him of cheating on her. Yeah, so it's just... Which is like, okay, Cardi...
Starting point is 00:36:05 If I'm being honest, this whole Nikki's song was just like a copy and paste from partisan song, The Person. Yeah, he's talking about his own poems. They're talking about the same thing. They're talking about the LIPO. They're talking about the same people. The gay interview.
Starting point is 00:36:19 Yeah. Lying. It's the same thing. And then... The drama is real. The what? The drama is real. It really is.
Starting point is 00:36:24 And then it's like all these things. tweets that Nikki was saying she just put them in a song. Yeah. That to me, I was just expecting a lot more. Yeah. And then when I heard this, I'm like, oh, you were expecting more like, quote unquote,
Starting point is 00:36:37 T. Yeah. Because it seemed like Nikki knows something crazy, but she was just low-key regurgitating. Every disc that people have towards Megan, especially when it comes to like Tori and the situation that happened with Megan, which I feel like it's like, dang that fool in her jail.
Starting point is 00:36:50 Like he went to court and they found that this fool really happened. It's like, why are we still trying to like change the narrative? Yeah, that part is weird. And look, when I think about that, like, I just think of, God forbid, something happened to you as a woman, and you get truly hurt, and the world tells you it didn't. And the world tells you're lying. And the world tells you free to home me, you know? Like, it just, it must feel so crazy. And then you have another woman who is, of course, you know, Nikki has set her stamp.
Starting point is 00:37:16 She's the queen of rap. Like, she can do it like no other. But even she's kind of using the petty dices the internet has against Meg. On a song, you know? Which I just think it would be just better for them to like hash it out. And of course that's someone just hoping for the best. But like what y'all could do together, especially because y'all seem to be the most hated women in rap. Also great pens behind you.
Starting point is 00:37:42 Like you guys are actually rappers. That would work out so much better in your favor. I don't know if anyone's trying to use this to like promote songs or promote whatever. But Nikki's got a great album. Everybody you see we're playing it like Friday 2. She has a great year besides this. Yep, doesn't need the disc to get in, like, you know, in conversations. And to her, I think she's tired of people coming at her for the mistakes of the men in her life.
Starting point is 00:38:05 Yeah. Because the diss is towards Nikki or about her man or about her brother. Yeah. And she's like, dog, I'm not even doing any of this, right? And I feel like that must be frustrating. Like, y'all are coming at me for sins of other people and that's what I have to take. No one's coming at her man about it. Nope.
Starting point is 00:38:21 Yeah. Yeah. You know, no one's coming at her brother about it. They're coming at her about it. Like if she did it, yeah. Because she's the phase apparently for the brother and the husband. But it's like, dog, like, do you see how messed up that is? It is.
Starting point is 00:38:33 Yeah. You can't blame me for something my deal did. Yeah. Yeah, but if you're a girl, yes, you can. And that's what pisses me off. Like, I need you get upset at that because we'll take on everybody else's drama and we'll be the bad guy. And it's like, dog, what?
Starting point is 00:38:46 So I understand where she's tired of those dishes. She's tired of, and even Megan having put it there or whatever. But it all come. Everyone's reacting. because Megan's reacting to the diss of Nikki calling her a horse or something. You know? And Nikki's reacting to freaking probably something else that we haven't seen. Everybody's just reacting to something.
Starting point is 00:39:06 And it's just really, it's going to be a long year. Yeah, I'm curious to see how far it goes because, you know, like Nikki going like full-fledged. And it's like that just is going to force Megan to go full-fledged at her or else people are going to say, oh, she went soft. And it's just like, how far is this going to go? Yeah. Well, four more songs, because Nikki has four more songs, remember? She did say it. And then I wonder if, like, she didn't spill any quote-unquote tea on this.
Starting point is 00:39:32 She's saving it? Yeah, if she's saving it for the other songs. That's what he did. He initially was just like, oh, yeah, Drake is a ghost writer. And that's what everyone had already been telling me. So Drake's like, oh, easy. That's all he got. Boom.
Starting point is 00:39:44 And then Drake went in and he's like, yeah, right, I know you're hiding in child. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Wow. It was with a P-Star. Oh, my gosh. Yeah, that's cool. That was really cool
Starting point is 00:39:56 That was tactics Yeah But I'm interested to see it I would hope for the best But I know they're already Like it's like They're in their moment They're in their feelings
Starting point is 00:40:02 They're in their energy They're in their pride They're war ready They're in position Yeah yeah I don't think they're gonna stop So Nikki should be dropping The second song tonight
Starting point is 00:40:11 Right 9 p.m. If Megan doesn't say anything If Megan doesn't respond If she doesn't apologize Or something She's like world wars For real! Yeah
Starting point is 00:40:19 If this country doesn't respond By this we will attack We should have known the year was going to be like this after the cat williams interview yeah seriously that's a sign he started it like this it's his fault
Starting point is 00:40:34 do you guys have a side i choose no side no i want to hear some good rap yeah no they were really rap yeah they were really rap but like i'm a big fan of of disrap you know so as a fan of that i'm just going to sit back and watch it yeah have some popcorn because loki the megan's law bar is a crazy bar like not not not okay and i know that affected nicky
Starting point is 00:40:54 but just the wordplay on that. It was clever. Even the mom bar. Which one? How you F your mother when she died? Like how are you going to lie on your mom with you? Oh, that's, again, that goes back to partisan because when Partisan was asking her, like, they should cheat on me. And she's like, no, I put it on my mom.
Starting point is 00:41:13 Yeah. But that was the one line that Partisan was talking about. I think she's alleging that she slept with her mom's man. Yeah, that's another one. Yikes. Yeah. Oh. It's pretty intense.
Starting point is 00:41:23 I think they should just, you know, I've been, this weekend I went to a boxing fight. They should just throw gloves on. Yeah, and I do that. Yeah. Thank you so, mom. She has a baby. Papa bear. Come on.
Starting point is 00:41:34 That's what words is happening with all these words. Why can we be friends? Yeah. I would like to shout out the ladies and rap for doing with the guys in rap don't. For real. They're like directing at each other. They're wearing the pants. They're going at it.
Starting point is 00:41:47 And you've got to think they've been doing that. Like we see it with the Cardi. We see it with the Remy. Like, and Nikki's taking a lot of that. Yeah. Yeah, all the beef has been with Nikki. Women's this rap is tougher than men's rap. For sure.
Starting point is 00:41:59 You guys even talked about it right now about fights. You guys get bored with guy fights over girl fights. They're more entertaining. They were saying that off there. And it's okay for the girls. Like, when it comes to beef, it's amazing that they're doing that. Shout out to the women for doing that. Yeah, absolutely.
Starting point is 00:42:16 All right, that was your word on Rosecrans. Brought to you by your local Southern California Toyota dealers. I'm Rosecrans, Vic for Brown Bag Mornings. I'm Power 106. All right, check this out, homie. a homie or need some help we need your help we need a line i mean phone line we got you for the homie help all right so he sent us a DM and said let me hit y'all with the real dilemma for homie help line man we's dilemma um he said he said paco's back here with his hard life so back in 2021 i was a bachelor
Starting point is 00:42:45 making good money bought a five bedroom house with three bathrooms wow bought it for myself my parents and two siblings gave my parents the master bedroom and pretty much didn't think i'd settle down anytime soon but later on that year i met a girl who would end up becoming my wife in 22 so wife he moves in everything's great have my baby later in 2023 moving quick moving very fast so now there's a problem my wife and mom and sister start having issues it gets really tense to the point where i got to take my wife's side because my mom raised a good guy who should have his wife's back He said, it got so bad my heafel wasn't talking to me for a couple of days. He said, anyways, things have cooled down, but my wife wants our own spot.
Starting point is 00:43:32 I don't feel right telling everyone to leave the house so it can just be me, my wife, and my kid, and dogs. House is too big, payment is high, and I don't make what I made back in 2021. So the only option if we want our own space is to sell the house and rent. I'd make a good chunk of money, but I would not be a homeowner anymore and subject to rent. Since I don't make what I make and my wife isn't working, I can't qualify for anything here in South Orange County to buy. What should I do? Tell my wife to suck it up and stay with the family in the house I own or sell and rent a house probably pay more on rent than I do pay for my own mortgage. Help me out, Brownback.
Starting point is 00:44:10 It sounds like he has a decision. Yeah. He already knows like he's very hating the other option. Yeah. Like he's like, no. There's nothing good about it. Like where I live. Like where I live.
Starting point is 00:44:21 Happy life, happy life. South Orange County. What's in South Orange County, Angie? That's like Newport Laguna Beach. Oh, fancy. Yeah, I don't feel sorry for you. Yeah, exactly. He's not trying to leave that.
Starting point is 00:44:30 You know what? I don't feel sorry for him. Why? Because he's like, yeah, I got so bad. My mom stopped hiding me for a couple days. A couple days. That's cute. Try months.
Starting point is 00:44:39 Try a couple years. Yeah, bro. Come on. The funniest part is, like, my mom taught me to be a good guy towards my wife, so I'm not going to talk to my mom. It's like, what? Or even like, Are you being a good guy if you're like, oh, yeah, should me tell my wife to suck it up?
Starting point is 00:44:56 Yeah. Yeah, I mean, you don't necessarily need to sell your house. That's one thing. I was like, you can rent it and still make money off of it. Smart, smart, smart, smart, smart. Rent it to your family. That's what I was thinking to. No, there's a problem, apparently.
Starting point is 00:45:10 No, Angie, your parents, your family owns your house already, right? Because I need to know more of like, so let's say, no, what do you guys pay? Nothing, you guys pay, nothing? No, just the property. tax, which is like maybe it's already paid off, which is like maybe seven, eight grand a year. So there is money to be made if you guys were decided to like rent
Starting point is 00:45:28 and then have other people move in, right? But then it's like you would be using the rent they pay to pay your stuff. The new place. Yeah. The new place. Okay. It's doable, clearly. But if they're not paying anything because they own it, we don't know if it's paid off.
Starting point is 00:45:43 It's probably not paid off because they just got it a couple years ago. And he pays for it. He paid for it. initially, but now it seems, I think, that the rest of the family's contributing because he's saying it's too big. The house payment is too high. And I'm assuming he's saying alone because his wife isn't working. So he would be subject to pay the whole mortgage. There's also a case of like, wow, you like I understand living with your parents and all of that. Um, who am I to talk my dad lives with me. Um, but like you're married now. Yeah. Yeah. I don't know. Your priorities are
Starting point is 00:46:16 different. Yeah. And especially if like your wife is like, dude, I don't, like it here yeah gotta well i want to bounce because like you would understand like living with your mom vick and all of that but once you have your own family with a kid and you're married you got to go you probably you know but you would probably want your own stuff right of course yeah you got to go right no i didn't say that exclamation point i'm not trying to impregn't know girl yeah you said wife no wife no dog she got to go yeah didn't say that you're gonna make a hell when i go home true um no but yeah I mean, it's a tricky situation, but absolutely.
Starting point is 00:46:51 Once you have like that family and it's yours, it's like, because this is the thing. What he doesn't want to risk and what he is, you know, subject to like risking is like his wife being like, dude, I don't like it here. You know what? I'm going to stay at my mom's house. Right. And it's like now you're going to have a real tough decision and you're going to be playing catch up instead of getting ahead of it. It's easier for him because that's his family. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:47:13 It's always like that too. You need to put yourself in the shoes because what is wrong with the, with the, with the, with the, with the. dynamic of the house, right? Yeah. Also, can you separate like that from your family? Do you, is it taking you a lot to detach? Yeah, it might be that too. Because it might be that, oh yeah, it's higher.
Starting point is 00:47:30 It might be that you're using the prices as an excuse to still have my Miti's. Yeah. He's probably like, I don't want to leave this house. He probably loves his house. She cooks for me. She does all this stuff for me. Yeah. And that's great.
Starting point is 00:47:42 That's fine. Definitely always do that and even always keep the family close. But if it's coming at the cost of like your actual marriage, then both of you have decisions to make. Yeah. You know? And it seems like she has that decision. She's like, let's get out of here.
Starting point is 00:47:55 It will probably help everybody, right? I wonder if she pitches in or she's a stale. No, she doesn't work. Yeah, she doesn't work. That part's very little to say. Yeah. Yeah. Unless she pitches in like sweat equity.
Starting point is 00:48:09 Yeah. But at least she's being like, you know, obviously they probably live in like a big house because the way he's describing it. But it's like, you know, she's willing to like leave all that behind and just be like, dude, I just wanted to be. me and you even if we're in an apartment. Yeah. Move to the IE, dog. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:48:22 I'm trying to live in the South O.C. Exactly. Yeah. Sometimes you got to realize what life is like. Mm-hmm. Like if life is not allowing me to do this right now, we got to just like buckle down. Yeah. And make it happen for ourselves, grind.
Starting point is 00:48:36 I'm thinking South O.C. is also like like Forres, Mishin Viejo, which is more like towards IE. So they're closer to the 91. So if we moved to the IE, it's not that big of a difference. You'd be surprised. Yeah. Or move to Anacrime. Antaclantana.
Starting point is 00:48:48 I know. I move to Panorama City. I think that's too much of it. I don't know the prices there. No one ever says that the prices are good. Like for homes and stuff there. I don't know. Yeah, see?
Starting point is 00:48:59 You know, in the IE, they are. Yeah, that's true. Hit us up. 818. 5205.9. How would you help Paco? Paco lives in a house with his family, his wife, and his wife wants out.
Starting point is 00:49:10 His wife wants out of it. And he's like, look, we own this house. Right. And he feels very, like, happy that he's an owner. He's like, if I go and I rent somewhere else, I'm going to lose a tide of owning. Plus, I won't know, like, if we can even afford it still and literally leaving my family is a thing for me. I'm looking back at this and it's like five bedroom house, three bathrooms. He's probably like arguing with her.
Starting point is 00:49:31 Three bathrooms, babe. Yeah. We're going to go to one. I can't handle that. She go to an apartment after that is crazy. Three bathrooms. No backyard, all that time. Yeah, but also dealing with like two siblings and someone else's parent.
Starting point is 00:49:43 Right. And her shoes is kind of nice. The five bathrooms are there, but you have someone in every. room paying for it. So you don't have five bathrooms to yourself. You don't have five rooms to yourself. You still have your one room. Yeah, but you have that space. That belongs to other people. That space. Probably less because you have to share that space, you guys. You have to share it with people. Okay, you're right. Let them just move to the garage and they'll have their own space. The biggest room in there. No, there's no bathrooms in there. What would you do in the situation or
Starting point is 00:50:09 have you done, especially with the way that LA is now? Like, people are owning less, people or renting more. Like, what does that feel like for someone that went from owning a house to then renting? Is that good, bad? How do you look at it, right? And he also said he gave his parents
Starting point is 00:50:23 the master bedroom. So maybe it's time to take the kid's room. Yeah. I need my own. For them to move rooms. Yeah, it's something of that nature. But God forbid, mom doesn't talk to you for two days. Sorry, I've just had a lot of trauma.
Starting point is 00:50:37 He won't. 52059. It's power 10106. LA's number one for hip-hip. All right, check this out, homie. You need a homie or need some help. We need your help. We need a line.
Starting point is 00:50:48 I mean phone line. We got you for the homie help line. Paco's trying to figure out whether or not to give his family the sapato. All right. To kick him out. All right. So Paco got a house, five bedroom, three bathroom house back in 2021 in South Orange County. His whole family lives with him.
Starting point is 00:51:06 But recently he got married, has a baby. And now his wife and his sister and mom are having issues. And his wife wants to go. She wants to bounce. Yeah. She's got to leave. And he's like, but babe, there's three bathrooms. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:51:19 Do you understand? South Orange County. Exactly. Prime real estate. Yeah. We can't just leave like that. I'm not going back to an apartment. That was 2021 to 20.
Starting point is 00:51:28 It's 2024 now. Something had to have changed because he said he's not making the same money that he did back then. Yes. Yeah. Maybe he got a different. Because even the money to make to get that type of house in South O.C. That's a lot of money. He was doing PPP loans and stuff.
Starting point is 00:51:41 Probably. So then that ran out. So now he's borrowing furniture from Kurosau, which is a great place to buy furniture from. Kurosahs are crazy. Yeah. They have everything there. 22% ATR.
Starting point is 00:51:52 He knows to send money to Mexico. Exactly. But now times are different, and his girl wants out. His girl's like, I don't get along with your family. He's like not working out for me. But he's like, should I tell her to just suck it up? And who cares is the family she chose? You got to learn and love it.
Starting point is 00:52:08 Exactly. Or should I move out with her and not be a homeowner anymore? Yeah. That seems really like, bother him. I won't be a homeowner anymore. Yeah, but I know there's different opinions. Like there's, it's sometimes not worth being a homeowner if you can't really be a homeowner. Right. You know, everybody wants to be a homeowner till it's time to be a freaking homeowner. Exactly. Right. But to yourself.
Starting point is 00:52:28 Different things and not call someone when the AC don't worry. You got to fix it yourself. Property taxes. Yes. All of that. That's what that's like. Yeah. How much rent you pay? Uh, I pay with love. Is the house paid? Is that why? No. He doesn't even know. He doesn't even know.
Starting point is 00:52:48 All I know is my love in that house is a lot. He's like, he's like my room's paid off. But you pay the bills? Yeah. Do you pay a bill? I pay my bills. Like your phone? My insurance, my phone, everything, myself.
Starting point is 00:53:01 I don't think you pay your phone. Yeah, I do. I've always. Are you on a family plan? No. No, no. I got in trouble when I was 16 and got kicked off. What did you do at 16?
Starting point is 00:53:10 I spent like $700 on ringtones. Oh, So I got kicked off. You're that type. I can't wait till you have the adult, dog. I can't wait to you legit have to adult. I have an adult. What do you mean?
Starting point is 00:53:23 You're not an adult, bro. I have health insurance, so that makes me an adult, right? Hold on, wait until you have kids, and then your kids do the same thing that you do with ringtone or robucks. Wait for the robots, karma. Wait to learn your ear pockets. Yes, they're going to go crazy. Did your mom stop talking to you for a couple days? No, my dad was very mad, though.
Starting point is 00:53:39 Yeah. This will pack a too. He said, hey, my mom stopped talking to me for a couple days. It hurt me. Yeah. My mom didn't talk to me for a couple years. My mom's not going to talk to me when I get home. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:53:53 Welcome to you, our life. I mean, baby girl, who are we going to, though? You said a lot of people have different opinions, huh? Yeah, yeah, it's crazy. We, let you. We're going to Nico from Whittier on line three. Nico. Nico.
Starting point is 00:54:06 Yo, what's up? First time caller, long-term listener. Let's go. Nico? Nico, I am sending you a heart sign, like how Travis Kelsey sent to Taylor Swift, because I've been waiting for somebody to call in and say that. Long-time listener, first-time caller. Shout out to you, Papa Tito.
Starting point is 00:54:24 I appreciate you. I appreciate you. I appreciate it. $700 on ringtones for Greg is crazy. Yeah, I know. That's wild. It's wild. Wait till he has to pay a bill.
Starting point is 00:54:34 Pick one with the ringtones, perito. Yeah. You said it was ringtones. I don't know. I don't know. I think. I think the homie has to put some money out of his pocket and build an ADU onto the property. They can still build their own space.
Starting point is 00:54:47 Yeah. You know, give his wife space and family space so they can figure out to get along because eventually, like, moving now is not going to fix anything, right? It's like a temporary thing. They have a family problem. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, they're still not going to talk. And then, you know, right now they got one kid, when they have a second kid, she's going to want a bigger place. You're going to end up right back in the same square.
Starting point is 00:55:05 So, like, if you just, you know, build a house or build like another unit, a little studio. in the back. Yeah. You get out of the family's way. You still live there. You're still a homeowner. You can fix it because you're married. It's long term and that's still your family, which is also long term.
Starting point is 00:55:17 ADU means, because I know it's like when you build stuff and for people to live. But what is it called? It's an additional dwelling unit. There you go. Yeah. It's like where our homie lives. Yeah. I didn't want to say.
Starting point is 00:55:32 Yeah. He doesn't have the permits. Nico, Nico, are you like in that line of work or how you know that? I'm broke, so I've been thinking about how to figure out how to get it. I'm broke. Me too, I love you so much, dog. I love you so much. And I even tell him how to do it, like, step by step.
Starting point is 00:55:51 Yeah, yeah, because I looked it up, bro. And then on the way out of home people, you hire a few people out there or help you build it in a week. I love it. It might fall when it rains, but, hey, it was built. Hey, bro, you're not just broke. You're not just broke. You're not just broke.
Starting point is 00:56:08 You're not just broke. You're resourceful dog and I love that. Shout out to you, Nico. That's great advice. Like, hey, you don't got to move. But I wonder how the wife would feel like you're a quote unquote homeowner, but now we live it in the garage. Yeah, get a shed. In the back house.
Starting point is 00:56:19 Yeah. Like, it's like, you can't move your parents back here. You can't move your sisters down here or something. It would have to be the sisters that move out like that. Yeah. It can be the parents. Can be the parents. They have the master bedroom.
Starting point is 00:56:29 All right. Who else, baby girl? We have Amber from Hyde Park on line four. All right. KpW. Los Angeles Power 106. L.A's number one for hip hop. We got Amber on the line.
Starting point is 00:56:38 Amber, how would you help this for Paco? Man, family got to go. Get that family out of there. Amber, I'm sorry. You know, look, I've called before, and I mentioned having a multi-generational household. I'm down for that. But people got to get along.
Starting point is 00:56:55 And this is a thing. If I bought this house, this house is in my name, that's my legacy. So why am I going to move out of here, sell it, and risk not ever being a homeowner again, And when you guys can find somewhere else to live because you're disrespecting my wife. Right. And I can find other income streams.
Starting point is 00:57:12 I'm sorry, there's way too many income streams here in the state of California for me to not get this paid. Yeah. Yeah. You can't be disrespecting my wife and they're going to still live happily under this roof. And you got my master bedroom. And I'm grown now with a wife and kids. Oh, no. That's the part that trips me out too.
Starting point is 00:57:29 It's like at what point are you going to take the reins of being the man? And I'm sure that's why homeowning feels so big to him. because it feels like I'm doing a big guy thing, right? Yeah. But he's not. He's acting like a kid. He's in the kids room still. Yeah, that's real.
Starting point is 00:57:43 Well, why is the house to stay in the kids room, Doug? He has a basketball post-in. For real. And Amber, you do come from a multi-generational household. So there are people, like multiple people from different age groups and different parts of your family living with you. Have they ever not gotten along and was there a way to fix that? Well, let me rephrase that. I believe in multi-generational household.
Starting point is 00:58:03 I don't currently have one. Okay. Now, don't get it twisted. I got remarried recently, and if my husband's kids who are, like, you know, grown during their 20s, if they needed to move back home, to me, I don't care how old my kids are if they need me. I'm here. And when I get remarried, those kids are mine now, too.
Starting point is 00:58:18 So that's what I mean. Like, at any time, you can come back home. Right. But you're going to respect me. Same with my, I'm sorry, if my mom had to move in with me, but she was arguing with, like, my husband or something, no, we got problems. Yeah. If he's first, him and I are one.
Starting point is 00:58:31 Yeah. Well, you leave your parents. You leave your parents. You leave your parents. You cleave to your spouse. Nah. No, Amber, that's true. That's the way of life.
Starting point is 00:58:38 That's literally the way of life in everywhere, but Mexico. Yeah, exactly. I was like, that's why that's why that's true. That makes all the sense in the world. Animals, they grow up, they leave the nest. People do that all day, every day. You get married. That person is your number one.
Starting point is 00:58:54 Except when it comes to the trauma that we have faced as. I know. To your mom comes with a belt. Yeah. I know my God. Look at Big. Big says, mom and him. I thought about dad with me.
Starting point is 00:59:03 The nest came back to me. Yeah. Escape back. Where all these sticks come from? I don't need this in my life, but there it is. Big mama bird. Exactly. Yeah, something you can't escape it.
Starting point is 00:59:15 Okay. I didn't know. Who else are going to Mamasita? Let's see. We have Daisy from Santa Ana on line five. Oh, Daisy. Daisy. Hey, good morning.
Starting point is 00:59:24 Brownback. Good morning, Daisy. How would you help our guy Paco? I semi agree with everyone else that's been calling. I think that he needs to have a talk with both his mom and his wife because he's going to take a big L on selling the home if he does. Nowadays it's so hard to buy a home
Starting point is 00:59:41 and just because there's girl drama, I mean, who doesn't have drama with their sweater, right? Me, and she's the best thing in the world. I'm kidding, I'm kidding, I'm kidding, I'm kidding, no, no, no. Hey, Daisy, but you just told all yourself. Yeah, I think he needs to talk to his mom and be
Starting point is 00:59:59 like, hey, you know, I'm married now. You guys need to chill. If not you guys are going to have to roll out, because I'm going to have to rent a part of the house if I can't. Yeah, then these are the options. Yep. She's married now.
Starting point is 01:00:12 He has a wife. He has kids. That's real. He needs to put them first. That's real. Daisy's right. He needs to be like, Mama.
Starting point is 01:00:19 We got to talk, Mama. This is my house too, Mom. I pay for it. And that's my wife, Ma. You got to get a lot with her. Days enchilas. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:00:29 Exactly. Okay, Mom, never mind. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. What are you going to do?
Starting point is 01:00:34 And who brought you? Yeah. Yeah. And who brought you to this world? He needs to hit the whole family with the, Ah my co. So where are you about to go? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:00:47 That's hard. Like, how do you? The mom's going to be like, I stuck around with you when you had stains in your, in your clothes, like, not what it was, your underwear, when you bought $700 worth of ringtone. Hey, hey, hey, hey. And here you are.
Starting point is 01:01:06 Here you are trying to kick me out. Ungrateful. Ungrateful. Oh, I once heard a story of somebody that, like, fake moved out of their house. And that's what he should do. He should fake me. I know somebody that. Was that you?
Starting point is 01:01:18 No. Oh. I know somebody to do that. Maximo told me that he, his uncle made out of his house. Yeah. And had everybody that lived with them. Move out. And then he literally moved back in the next day.
Starting point is 01:01:32 That's awesome. Wow. Everybody, we're all moving out of his house. Yeah. Can I try that? Yeah. Somebody bought the house. He legit empty the whole house.
Starting point is 01:01:39 Oh my gosh. Like, it was two floors. That's determination. That's the termination or lack of like wanting to have a confrontation. Confrontation. Yeah. You'll fake a whole move out just to not have the conversation like, hey, you guys got to go. Cheaper to pay movers.
Starting point is 01:01:54 Yeah. It works. Longing the problem. Irene, who else we got Mamasita? We have Andrea from La Habra on line six. Andrea. Those are all those nice places. to live.
Starting point is 01:02:05 Good morning. Wow. Andrea, you have kids in the car. Yes. I have my two daughters with me. How to my nieces. What's up, girls? Hi.
Starting point is 01:02:19 All right. Andrea, what would you tell Paco? So he probably got the house during COVID rates. So he could probably make some profit if you rent it out and have that extra money go towards savings to buy another property. to start, you know, growing your property management stuff. Wow. Or if he's in a good location, he can Airbnb it out.
Starting point is 01:02:41 Wow, he isn't a good location. He isn't a good location. He is in a good location. Bro, you ever talk to people and it just shows you how stupid you are? Yeah, I was about to say that. Like, a lot of these people have good plans. They have business advisors. Probably.
Starting point is 01:02:54 They know what property management is and financial literacy. If you look into your portfolio, you see, you get 10% back on this year. The COVID rates versus the rates of that. You know we're in a bear market right now. Sky high. Yeah. While we're telling them, oh, moving to the grudge. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:03:10 Just fight your dad. Make them duke it out. Yeah. Wow. People are so smart. The first thing I thought of too, I was like, these people are very small. Let's see Paco Andrea's number so that she can have some financial help. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:03:24 Oh, my God. We got our guy through one old baby, Mr. Sok City himself coming through. I hope he's not skipping school. But I think he might be. He's stitching. Wow. Just one day. He was sick.
Starting point is 01:03:38 I'm saying that he's on paranoid of six. Performing life. All right. That's coming up at 8.30. So if you're all your way to school too, just pretend you're sick a little bit. Not to dish, but just to be late. Late start.
Starting point is 01:03:48 Late start. It's Monday. We're going to get a mini performance. Max did that this morning. What? He fakes sick. He started yesterday in the day. Oh, smart.
Starting point is 01:03:57 Dude. These kids are getting smarter. You know? And I was like, bro, you're happy as hell. Relax. You know what's messed up? One time I was little, and I remember, there was a core memory for me. I remember I had the worst stomachache, and nobody would be my dad thought I was lying to get out of something.
Starting point is 01:04:13 And literally, at that night, he gave me a tea, and I just started throwing up. Like, as soon as I drank the tea, I had to run to the restroom and throw up. And I'm like, I told you, I had a stomachache. Yeah. So believe in a little, I know he's happy. I know he's sweet. But legit, that's what my dad thought. Like, no, she's lying.
Starting point is 01:04:29 Malacca. He used to call me Malaca. He made up a word. Yeah. Yeah, Malaca. Malacca. But that was like really mean. Like whatever, whenever he said it,
Starting point is 01:04:36 oh, malacas. And I was like, whoa, what's that word? It turns out he just makes it up. But when he did that, like, I was like, okay, I can never be sick again. So even if I was ever sick, I would never say calling sick. Wow. Like I couldn't because he didn't let me get away with it when it was real. Wow.
Starting point is 01:04:54 Is that why you never calling sick? That's why I just make you guys sick. Yeah. Seriously. We took a- Maximo should have called sick. I was being literal, not figured it. Okay. Sorry.
Starting point is 01:05:03 It took me getting pneumonia for my parents to believe that I was sick. Whoa. Oh, great. Yeah, I don't believe you. Well, because, like, to be fair, sometimes we're the kids who cried wolf. Like, a little big. Sometimes. He tried to tell me, like, you know what?
Starting point is 01:05:17 I don't know. I'm just feeling kind of sick. I don't know if I can make it to the snow with you, dad. I was like, stop. Yeah, you're going to the snow. You're going to be sick in the snow. Just because you don't have your PS5 with you, like you don't want to go. But I was like, don't worry.
Starting point is 01:05:30 I mean, we're going to get the best medicine in the world. So you'll be. great for Lake Arrowhead. And he was like, oh, okay, then. And then you get up there and there's no snow. I know. Jokes on me. Power 106, LA's number one for hip hop.
Starting point is 01:05:44 Buenos Aires. Good morning. Vic can't drive. What happened, Vic? So I drove up to Lake Arrowhead this weekend. Oh, yeah, for the snow. Yeah, there was no snow. That was a big letdown too.
Starting point is 01:06:00 What was you just water? There was nothing. There was just like a little bit cold. Do they have Arrowhead water there? The lake. The lake is like there's a, it's really nice. But yeah, so I was there and it took us forever to get out of LA. It was Friday traffic, all this stuff, right?
Starting point is 01:06:15 So by the time, it was time to like go up the hill. It was dark. It was dark and my brother-in-law was tired. And we had a sprinter and he's like, Vic, you think you could take over? And I'm like, yeah, let me just take over this humongous car. Full of all my family that I love. Full of my entire family. Like literally everybody.
Starting point is 01:06:35 You guys go down, do yours. It's over. It's over. Yeah. Forget it. You know what I'm saying? And they're like, yeah, just drive it up, like drive it up the hill. Sure, why not?
Starting point is 01:06:45 You know, you can't say no. Like, it's like you kind of have to be fair. Be a man. Be a man. He drove for three hours. I'm going to just drive for like 30, 40 minutes up the hill, right? No. And Big was like, no, I'm baby.
Starting point is 01:07:00 And then it's like my. My dad is a damn near blind by this point. So he can't drive. It's night time. You shouldn't let people over 50 drive. Yeah, fact, that's. I keep telling him he needs LASIC and he's like, I don't know, Miko.
Starting point is 01:07:12 He rather just squint at everything. Literally. He's a man. And then he's like, can't even find his glasses when he does need him. Oh, my goodness. So I drove up and everybody just gets tense. Like I can just feel everybody getting tense.
Starting point is 01:07:27 And I'm trying to play it off. But like everybody turned down the music. Like watching every single turn I made. So much pressure. So much pressure. And I'm just up there like, everything is all right. And then they're like, oh my God, look at the view. And I'm like, no, can't look at the view?
Starting point is 01:07:43 Wasn't it dark? It was dark. Yeah, but it's winding. It's up in hill. Yeah, that's why. It's actually a beautiful view to the right side of me when I'm driving, you know. But like if I look, I'm distracted and I'm just like, no. So I couldn't see.
Starting point is 01:07:56 But yeah, we made it up the hill in one piece. Nice. Okay. Is it like a one? Is it a two lane? Or is it a big street? It's two lanes on each side. Okay.
Starting point is 01:08:05 So you had room. Yeah, you know, it's a big car. But it's a big car. That he's not used to driving. Oh, I forget that part.
Starting point is 01:08:12 Yeah, it's a sprinter, like 10 passenger, and then also it was windy. So it started, the wind started moving you where I didn't want to go. Either that or you were shaking. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:08:24 That place, that literally place, once you get up to the top, it's literally called the rim of the world. That's cool. And I was like, that's what he said. said. I'm kidding.
Starting point is 01:08:32 Oh, wow. You should have took the Toyota, dog. That's the Toyota why you down. I know. I know. It was scary, but I made it up. You did. And there was no snow.
Starting point is 01:08:41 Oh. Yeah. It's so sad. I made it all the way up for no snow. Oh. You took your little snow boots. Took my snow jacket and everything. He was ready.
Starting point is 01:08:51 Yeah. Oh, my God. That's so sad. Vig put a photo. Was it on your close friends only, the photo that you posted? Uh, no. Okay. What was this?
Starting point is 01:08:58 So Vig posted a photo of him like looking out. Yeah. And it was just like a very like Serene photo of him just like, I don't know, he's getting his like M&M on. Yeah, you put an M&M song, no, or something? No, I put J. Cole song. Oh my God. Taylor Two Cities.
Starting point is 01:09:13 Gosh, he was like, oh yeah, he was like plotting, like looking out at the no snow like, I'm going to take over the world. Yeah. How I'm going to bring snow to here. Me and my, in my wilderness. Yeah, that's cool. It was very like, wow, cute. It was cool. It was cool.
Starting point is 01:09:24 I got out of your picture you like disappointed because there's no snow and you have no photo shoot to do now. Exactly. Because he was set up. Yeah, exactly. For I'm as cold as ice. Like, the whole world. He had his captured. A world blanket.
Starting point is 01:09:37 So then what did you do? Just nothing? Imagination. Watch the Royal Rumble? Yeah. Imagination was on his side. He was like, yeah, just picture some snow out here. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:09:48 And you went to a movie that... Yeah, I want to go watch the poor things. It's with Emma Watson. Emma Stone. And then it was amazing, by the way. Yes. And so it's with really good actors. It's the guy that does Hulk.
Starting point is 01:10:03 I'm sorry, I don't know their name. But I know their character. David. Him. Hulk guy. And then. Mark Ruffalo. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:10:12 And then the Goblin. What's his name? The Goblin. There's so many. That's actually really good actors. The Goblin. From Spider-Man. That's what I'm saying.
Starting point is 01:10:18 They're good actors. Will Defoe. Yeah. And so it was Briens Poppy's idea to go to the movies, right? And so it's like, okay, let's go watch this movie because he's like, it looks trippy and it's Emma Stone. And it's all these great actors. Just vibes, yeah.
Starting point is 01:10:32 And so we go and after this movie, I'm like, oh, I cannot see you the same anymore. She gets. She gets undressed. Very undressed. Like the whole. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on.
Starting point is 01:10:43 Let me write this down. You know that there's a nominate. You know there's like websites where people write down what parts of movies, stuff like that happens. You got the website too? See? No, I did not know that. Curvy guys are. Yes.
Starting point is 01:10:55 Oh, like Mr. Never mind. And the movie. She's like, like you wouldn't expect it. You went into there thinking, sometimes you can expect it from a movie. Like, that's what's going to happen. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:11:05 I'm like you. I get uncomfortable when those scenes come up, and I've always gotten uncomfortable. And it'd be even worse if, like, my man was there or a date was there. It would just feel very, like, I don't know what to do. I didn't need to see her thanks thinking out like that. Not once, not twice, but like throughout the whole movie.
Starting point is 01:11:20 No way. Multiple times. You are the best salesman of a movie ever. I'm definitely going to watch it. What? Hard things. All right. That's how I rate my movie.
Starting point is 01:11:31 Okay. She becomes like a lady of the night. Oh. And they're showing all those scenes. The guys and the girls. Thanky, Tangy. This is not.
Starting point is 01:11:39 You did a great job. They need to pay you for this movie. Honestly. I cannot see it easy anymore. You gave the past credentials of the actors and what they've been in before. Yeah. And it's all that. I'm not missing this one.
Starting point is 01:11:53 You can. Do. Please skip on it because you don't want to see Emma the same. One, two, three, please. You're not going to. All right. That's our weekend, you guys. We have shout-outs, though.
Starting point is 01:12:06 Who are we showing up, Gregor? We got a lot of birthday shout-outs. We got Jaden who turns nine today. Jaden. James B. who turns 13 today as well. Wow. James B.
Starting point is 01:12:16 Christian Daniel Vargas, who turned eight on Saturday. Oh, he has a long-ass-name-old-N-Margis. And we need to wish a happy belated birthday to Liz, Jaslyn, Matthew, and Stevens, their birthday was on Friday. Okay. Liz Jalyn, Matthew, Matthew, Stephen. Liz, Jasmine, Matthew, and Stephen.
Starting point is 01:12:36 Okay, Jesus. All right. Jasmine, Matthew, Stephen. All right, we're going to run it like this. Okay, we're going to run it like this and Stephen. Boom. Okay. So, shout out to Jaden, James, Christian Daniel,
Starting point is 01:12:46 Liz, Jasmine, Matthew, Stephen. Feliz Cueblazers and Fis belated. At you. Shout to all of them. And I got another shout out. Trust wants to shout out her son, Robert, for teaching her patience. in her terrible two stages.
Starting point is 01:12:59 She says, thanks for punching me unexpectedly, buddy. Mama loves you. He's two? Two, he's in his two stages. Yeah. Oh, that's so cute.
Starting point is 01:13:06 And her name is trust? Trust. Yeah, that's hard. That's so cute. That's cool. That's a great bond. Yeah. They survive.
Starting point is 01:13:13 They're so, they're mean, and then you just look at them sleeping. They're cute. They're so cute. Yeah, terrible twos is really bad. And that's it. Yeah, those are some shout-outs. Yeah, shout out.
Starting point is 01:13:22 Shout out to Brian that I met in Phoenix and Rosario again that I met in Phoenix. They listen every day to the show from Phoenix. Wow. Wow. Yeah. I think we need to make a trip out there. I really liked it.
Starting point is 01:13:33 Phoenix is cool. I didn't know it was going to be that cool. I just think Phoenix Desert. I just think Desert. Yeah. And it's a 45-minute flight from here. Yeah, it's not that bad. Yeah, it wasn't a long flight.
Starting point is 01:13:42 They're really nice. I don't know what we do besides. They have hiking stuff, right? Inopales? Yeah. We go spring training. Spring training. Oh, spring training.
Starting point is 01:13:50 Oh, yeah. It's really fun. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I like it. Yeah. Shout to everybody in Phoenix that's checking in and wherever you're checking in. You guys have a shoutout?
Starting point is 01:13:57 Didn't you meet a lot of people at the commerce? Yeah, I met a few people. I don't remember names. Shout to you. Wow. Oh, that's great. Yeah, big of us everybody, checking it with us. They're going to know it's them.
Starting point is 01:14:11 Hey, this lets you know. Don't do it with Maximo. Say hi to us, too great, to change, too big, but don't expect the shout-out. I was locked in that day. No, you were not. No, you were not. Maximo said, I met a couple of good people. You know who you are.
Starting point is 01:14:24 Yeah, I was locked it in Straight locked in Yeah Focus Let's get into home I'll play Hey Sambra Sala
Starting point is 01:14:36 With Angie It's a big weekend For Tatee You guys Nice to Taylor Swift Because she made The Chiefs Go to the Super Bowl
Starting point is 01:14:44 Yeah But besides that Did you guys see like the AI images That were going around Oh yeah Yeah Those were
Starting point is 01:14:51 Disturbing Same Someone Thought it was a great idea To get Taylor Swift an AI her in like sexually explicit images I didn't want to click on them but I know
Starting point is 01:15:02 Maximo you did and you saw them he said yeah he said it yeah they came across the timeline yeah that was everywhere they were unavoidable really honestly I didn't even see them I didn't I literally did not click on it when it was trending on Twitter because that's where it started on Twitter right and then it got to the point so bad that fans were like Taylor Swiss fans they were like flagging it things like that saying like take it off and then they started flooding the Twitter. They started flooding Twitter with like real images of Taylor Swift. If you searched, you couldn't find it. Yeah. Those are great fans. They were. They even started
Starting point is 01:15:35 trending the save Taylor Swift, protect Taylor Swift. They started trending that. But now you can't even look at those images or search Taylor Swift at all. Which is good. Which is good. Because they're not real images, but they show her in very compromising positions that it is not real. Yeah. And even if those photos were real, we shouldn't be seeing them. Yeah. And it was just very disgusting. It was and portes, you know, these AI images have happened where they have low-key Donald Trump getting arrested. I think that was the first one of the, like, there's different ones I've seen of the Pope. Oh, yeah, and with the cool. And Loki, they've been funny.
Starting point is 01:16:08 They've been funny AI images that is like this could be funny if it really happened. You see Steve Harvey crying all the time. Oh, yeah. No way is the cup of his hand. Yeah. Yeah. And there's always like something off with AI, like they have 20 fingers or like AI doesn't really get it. And then there's even filters now where you can, like, you can, like, you can, like, you can,
Starting point is 01:16:27 do your own AI, right? Like you, people were doing a lot of me in a yearbook in the 90s and that's like AI, right? That's the whole app. So there's that situation where it can be funny in games. Yeah, it could be. But then there's the situation where a dirty mind does dirty things and it can really affect people. You know, as funny as that may have seemed, because it's her painted all over in red
Starting point is 01:16:47 with like Chiefs fans and all of that. But it just shows you that no matter what, literally this girl, I don't think I've ever seen her like in any type of promiscuous wear no but she don't even have to she could literally just be taylor swift and a mind will make her look like that and loki sexualize her yeah and objectify her and it's unfortunate now i am seeing that the white house is getting him to this that there's regulation happening with yeah there should have been to begin with yeah now they should have been with the worldwide web like we just get things that we don't have know what we can do with it and then yeah we don't know how to police yeah you don't know until the bad stuff happens
Starting point is 01:17:25 how to cut off the bad stuff or what to cut off. I know you're right because the White House did catch this about it. They were just very alarming. That's what they said. It's very alarming because we don't have any regulations on this. And now because of Taylor Swift, because of these AI images, the Department of Justice started their 24-hour,
Starting point is 01:17:42 24-7 helpline for survivors of AI sexually abuse cases, things like that. Watch how fast they push a bill through. I'm pretty sure. When it takes years for other bills to go through, but Taylor Swift was in trouble, y'all. It's necessary one, and I think it's more about what the photos were. Because if they had Taylor Swift with three heads or Taylor Swift, like wearing the other team's colors, that's nothing. But it's just the way in which they portrayed Taylor Swift.
Starting point is 01:18:08 I don't think you want your sister to have those types or you want your sisters or people in your life. And it's like if that is the reason why it's getting regulated, I think it's all good. Because people can start, people already do revenge pee, right? They send out photos of someone that they may have been sent or they share it with people. imagine if they have the ability to do it with AI. And you can't see what's real, what's not. Yeah. Yeah, because I have fallen for those AI images.
Starting point is 01:18:32 I'm telling you, the first one that I ever felt for was that Donald Trump. Getting arrested. And then the second one was the Pope with the cool jacket. But if you look like, see, even with those, if you look closely, there'll be like little off things. Like the Pope had a weird hand in it or like morphs or something. Yeah, exactly. And this just felt way too real for, too close for comfort and all of that. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:18:53 And I don't know if you guys seen, but the user, his name is at ZV Bear that first shared these images. Like, he is in trouble. Like, they found out where he lives. Wow. Where he's crazy. Yeah. Yes. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:19:06 Everything about him is now public. Yeah. And he thought it was like funny. Yeah. Even when he was getting some backlash. Right. He was like, ha, ha, they can't find me or something. All he did was like, make his, his Twitter private.
Starting point is 01:19:18 But it's like, bro. Yeah. You're in so much trouble. Yeah. Yes. They for sure found you. Yeah. He's in.
Starting point is 01:19:25 Your IP address. Well, you can't even hide that. Absolutely. Especially with when you go after Taylor Swift. And I wonder how it's going to work too because he's not even in America. He's from Canada. He's from Ontario. It'll work the world.
Starting point is 01:19:37 So, yeah. We're going to figure out how they're going to try him. Yeah. They're going to try him in like the UN, like the United Nations. Like the whole world is going to try it. That'll be crazy that happens. What? He's going to be the reason for like, oh, sure.
Starting point is 01:19:52 What was the reason? your thought thinking you can make this images up in a swift. I wanted some retweets. Yeah, exactly. I wanted to go viral. Did it for the cloud. It happens and now look at him. Yeah, now it's going to be like him and Saddam Hussein. That's what I'm saying. That's what's
Starting point is 01:20:07 wild. Yeah. That's wild. Yeah. But it had to happen. And it was, it's now, thank you, Tatea. Yeah. Facts. All right, that's it for Sondresala. Brought to you by a local Southern California Toyota dealers. I'm Angie from Brownback Mornings. I'm Power 106.
Starting point is 01:20:21 And you know we haven't, speaking of football, but I don't want to make it Somersada because that was really crazy for Taylor Swift. Shout out to the San Francisco 49ers. Yeah, all the Raider fans. All the Raiders fans. Yeah, because they go for the Niners when the Raiders lose. No, they don't.
Starting point is 01:20:35 I haven't seen Vic wear a shirt. Raider fans go first. Cowboys, the Niners. That's a lie. That's a lie. Raider fans, if you want to beat them up in the DMs, it's at DJ. Wait, you have like dots in there, right?
Starting point is 01:20:48 DJGreg.org.com. DJGreg.org.com on Instagram. Tell me I'm wrong. I know it. Any cowbo. boy's fan any Raiders fan and what else? They be chargers fans? No, Rams fans.
Starting point is 01:20:58 They'll turn it to 49er fans. Yeah, now they're 49ers fans. Chargers fans forget about football as soon as like The season starts. November. They're just like, they just move on to other sports. Hey, what's basketball doing this time of year? Wait, there's still football going on?
Starting point is 01:21:13 They're looking for a target. All right. But shout out to the 49ers for beating the lines yesterday. They're on their way to the Super Bowl. big up to the Niners and the Chiefs. And I would just like to reiterate that I predicted this was going to happen because you guys were all in your little conspiracy that the logo colors of the Super Bowl equals the teams that were going to be at the Super Bowl. And the logo colors are like purpleish, right? Was it blueish?
Starting point is 01:21:39 It was purple and red. Purple and red. So you guys thought it was going to be Ravens and Niners. But look, it's the Chiefs and the Niners. Well, because we discovered it too fast. And then so they changed it. They also did. They also didn't account for Taylor Swift being involved.
Starting point is 01:21:52 Yeah. To, like, switch some things around. Called the audible. Called audible. That's exactly what happens. Oh, that's what they wanted to think. It's not that the chiefs are, like, reigning champions and they're going to come back. No.
Starting point is 01:22:02 No. No. It can't be that. They're lucky. We can't make it obvious. We have to put purple so they don't think that. Exactly. All of a sudden.
Starting point is 01:22:09 Yeah. Gotcha. So who's going to win? Uh, Tate Tate's team. No. So you agree. So you agree. So you agree.
Starting point is 01:22:18 So you agree. Taylor Sifter responsible for the chiefs getting a silver bowl. Patrick Mahomes. So you agree. I'm not betting against the new and improved Tom Brady. That's all I heard. Thank you, Tate. Thanks, Tatee.
Starting point is 01:22:28 For getting us another chip. Disappointed. No, shout out to all the San Francisco 49 friends and all the San Fernandoians because I know you guys are very happy. Oh, they're extra happy. Oh, yeah, they're wearing their SF around. They always wear it. I'm sure there were some fireworks popped last night. Oh, for sure there's some people popped.
Starting point is 01:22:46 I'm going to lie. I'm Leti and we brought our guy 310 baby in here with us. Good morning, 310 baby. Was good, good morning. Okay, you know we had this little debate, and I know you settled it, but I just want to settle it for everybody that's listening. It's not 310 baby. No, it's 310. 310.
Starting point is 01:23:01 No. Does anyone ever call your 310 baby? Yeah, it's okay, though. Is it weird? Does it make it make it feel like, wow, you guys are boomers? Because I feel like sometimes when people give their numbers, they say 310. Like 310, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Yeah, I don't know.
Starting point is 01:23:13 It's 310. And 310 said it. When you're from there, you just say 310. Like it's just when you put in. Irene, please say what they say on the phone. lines, please, baby girl. Go ahead. He's like, I already told you what it is.
Starting point is 01:23:27 When people call in and I ask for their number, when they win something, they're always like 310, blah, blah, blah, and it sounds so weird. Yeah, but it's out easy. But they're probably not from the 3-1-0. They're from here, bro. They just have the number. They would be 8-18 if they just moved it. They only transplant until 8-18.
Starting point is 01:23:42 All right, we got 310 baby in here. And look, last time I saw you, you were 17. Now you're 18 and it feels good, doesn't it? Yeah, that's good. Come on, do you know. Okay, you got signed at. Like, how old were you? Signed?
Starting point is 01:23:54 Yes. 18 years. Oh, you got signed. Oh, because certain litigations, right, because of, because I feel like you were popping way before 18. Yeah. Well, like, yeah, like, in the summer last year, so I was still 17. You were 17 years old. But it was 18 when, like, legit, you're an adult.
Starting point is 01:24:10 Those contracts are yours. It's set in stone. The money's right. The money. But you're still in school. Yeah, so in school. You're still in school. Do you graduate this year?
Starting point is 01:24:21 Yes. Amazing. You know, it's tight. And shout out to moms. I know she's not here right now, but I can't wait to meet her to tell her what a great job she's doing. Because I know as much as you're popping, you're also disciplined. Like, school does come first. It's not today, but it does usually come first.
Starting point is 01:24:37 I know, like, depending on where you're at in school, you're either doing shows or not or making sure things are prioritized. How is it, like, juggling the school part and the low-key rap star part because you're it. You're there. Yeah, I mean, honestly, I have to remain humble, you know. With school, it's difficult at times, but, you know, I got two jobs at once pretty much. Yeah. But, you know, I'm making it work, you know.
Starting point is 01:25:01 Which one's harder? I think it's pros and cons to come to both. Yeah, it's not, like, sweet on one side or not suit another, but, you know, it's still a challenge with both. Yeah. Yeah. How do you, like, get your mind wrapped around, like, okay, I just performed in front of 15,000 people with 4-2-Dug and, like, everybody? and then it's like but school Monday and have that same enthusiasm for that I mean honestly it's just like knowing like the end goal like I know I want to graduate so I got to do it regardless you got to do it
Starting point is 01:25:33 it's just something along the way yeah you got to get done yeah I know I want to graduate as the end go yeah but I know I also want to perform in arenas yeah so when it's two goals I both like I have you know I'm saying I got to do what I got to do with it in a day no matter what you probably go to school more than anyone in life ever because after school you go perform at other high school. He's like, you're going to get seven diplomas. I know. Have you been to every high school in L.A. by this point? No, almost pretty much, though.
Starting point is 01:26:01 I didn't mean everywhere. I love it. Look, he, like, your voice is deeper than these grown-ass men's voice. Hey, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. No, no, it's true. No, that's facts. It's not a lie. No, that's facts.
Starting point is 01:26:10 Because I'm sure people always mix you up, like, whoa, that's the guy behind Sok City. That's 310 baby. Does it trip you out to see other people's response to you? Because for you, this is your voice. Yeah, no, it's normal to me. But honestly, I think that's just, what makes the music click. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:26:23 Every artist has their, like, distinct voice. Yeah. And I think that's what it is for me. I feel like you could call in for one of your friends as their dad and say they're sick. Or, like, I got a doctor's appointment. Have you done that before? No. But you could if they wanted it.
Starting point is 01:26:36 You could call for yourself. Hey, oh, that 310 baby can't make it. 310, baby. 310. I know, but the dad would get it wrong because he's a boomer. Yeah. Yeah. 310. Okay, so I'm thinking of you in school and I see like the pressures of it,
Starting point is 01:26:51 but I always. Always think of like when Kobe was in school and he took brandy to prom and it was just like all eyes on them. I'm sure you are the guy at school. But is it tripped you out? Like sometimes we hear when people have made it already that one teacher that said they weren't or that one teacher that said, ah, the same for you. And then they end up doing it. You're doing it while those same teachers are like, no, you're never going to make that rap career. Or do you have supportive staff?
Starting point is 01:27:15 Like, are there supportive teachers at your school? No, I have teachers that support me. But there's that one. I wouldn't say it's the one because a lot of my teachers really just found out. Like even... Well, they just thought you really like nuts? Like, when it was like, so silly or like? Yeah, I don't know.
Starting point is 01:27:35 Like, I don't really have teachers that like told me like last school year like, oh, you wouldn't like make it. Because they didn't even know. Like I kind of stated myself to people that knew, new, new. And then now everybody know. Yeah. Do they have you like set up for prom? Like are they trying to book? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:27:49 Do you get booked for your own prom or? No. My school ain't reached out for me to do a prom. They should. They should, though. I feel like I would turn it up. We'd sell more tickets. That's up to them.
Starting point is 01:28:00 Get the people going. You guys got to think like a business. Yeah, that's up to them, no. You just made me realize during prom season, you're probably going to be so busy. I'm sure all the other high schools are going to tap in as well. I'm sure they will. They're smart, you know? We're doing a thing called teen mom prom.
Starting point is 01:28:16 All the teen moms have never had a prom, we're going to give to them. Hey, can they go to Sook City? Pause? They won't, yeah. See? I think that was a problem. There's more music to talk about, but I do want to touch on this song, you know. It seems like, like shout out to my girl, Transvick, my baby girl, Irene.
Starting point is 01:28:36 They were on top of it super early. Like, this is the song that's popping out here. We got to get this guy in. But what was the moment you saw everyone else has gotten? Like, I remember seeing that one dude in the motorcycle. Like, and he had your song on? And I'm like, this is it. That's the song.
Starting point is 01:28:51 No, that video was viral. Honestly, what really did it for me is, of course, like, see, they're straw in the field. Russ doing it. That was so tight when Russell Westbrook was dancing. Yeah. That was fine. So every once in a while, every couple of weeks, sir, it seemed like almost once a week.
Starting point is 01:29:09 It's a new video that comes out that's like super viral. Yeah. And then it's like, it adds on to the momentum. Yeah. And talk to us about the song itself because I heard that you recorded it on your iPhone. on my phone, Ben Lap. On Ben Lap. Come on.
Starting point is 01:29:24 That is insane. And it also makes, so there's no excuses for anybody else in the world. Even this part? Yeah, that's my... That's my... That's my favorite part. Yeah, that was that with... Like, did you have, like, headphones on or AirPods?
Starting point is 01:29:38 Or, like, what... The wires. The wires. The wire. The Apple wires, yeah. That's incredible. You know what I love? It's a lot of people, like, to gatekeep.
Starting point is 01:29:47 Yeah. But I see people asking you, like, hey, how did you? do it, what did you use, and you always respond to giving them game. I love that. The thing was six months ago, four months ago, I was just like them on BandLab, trying to figure out how I could make it work. So, like, if somebody, like, DME, oh, what's your preset? I'll send them the link to my preset.
Starting point is 01:30:06 Whatever, any advice, because, I mean, I ain't had nobody helping me. So, yeah. 3-1-0, as you're speaking, and I'm sure you get it a lot, the way that your mentality is, I appreciate that. I think teenagers today, you guys got it figured out, like, we couldn't. Like, we were still trying to download ringtones and you are making full-on songs, right? $700 worth of ringtones. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:30:29 Shout grad C. I know, he's like, oh, the Stone Ages, that's crazy. That's where you guys live. But what do you attribute that to? Is it moms? Is it just the way that you saw the world? Like, what do you think it is about you? That you seem legit.
Starting point is 01:30:42 Like, I know you're 18, but you just seem wise beyond your years. Like, you're getting it. I think it's just my family and the way I was raised. because, I mean, to be honest, I mean, I was the only child growing up, like, in my immediate family. Everybody else was older. I'm the only grandchild. No way. So everybody was, you know, all the attention was on me.
Starting point is 01:31:03 So I have a piece of everybody in my family because I have their attention. Yeah. So that's all it was. And it was a bunch of adults. Yeah, just a bunch of adults. Yeah. It seems just from, like, getting to, like, know you briefly that although you were, like, the only baby in the family, they didn't baby you. Yeah, no.
Starting point is 01:31:18 And that like comes across because you can see your poise on stage. I was at your Roxy show. And just to see you on stage with like other like rap superstars and it's like you hold your own, you have your own stage presence. You know, like the poise is just like, damn, that kid is 18 shirt. Let's check his birth certificate. How is it getting your mom a car? Like you legit got her her own car. You turned 18 and you're like, this is what I'm doing my bread.
Starting point is 01:31:43 I'm going to hook mom's up. I mean, to be honest, I think it's just my mom. at the end of the day. Yeah. I do anything for my mom the same way she did everything for me. You know what I'm saying? Wow. You are such a piece of crap, Vic.
Starting point is 01:31:57 What? Because he was just talking about how he wants his mom to get the F out of his house. Wait, no, no, no, it's different. And here you are saying, my mom, she did everything for me. Do you hear the grace and the gratefulness that he has? I sounded the same way when I was 18, okay? Wait till he's 31 and he wants to get some cracking. That's so close.
Starting point is 01:32:14 And then the mom's in the way. No. He's already like, what can he? I give him up how can I repay her and you're like how can I pay her to get out? It's different. It's different. He's looking at you. He's judging you.
Starting point is 01:32:26 3-10 baby. You also have this track with Caitlin Foro for O'Roh Stug. It's really cool. I'm sure for you to see other artists reaching out from the West Coast because it can be said, we're talking about gatekeeping, but it can be said that we really don't touch each other's music or we kind of stay away from it. I thought it was awesome that during your show you brought so many people out and what has that response been like from the older head?
Starting point is 01:32:48 of the West Coast towards you? I mean, I'm getting a lot of support from my peers. I mean, a lot of people say or may say that there's no support within L.A. with artists, but I'm getting a support. Yeah. So honestly, as long as I'm saying, I'm focused and worried on me, you know. But I'm thankful for every artist that has reached out, even the ones that hop on the remix. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:33:09 But yeah, I get support. Yeah, I was talking to Gentry about this, your manager, and I was just like, we were talking, because me and him have known each other for years, and it's. Like, when was the last time that almost every artist in L.A., producers, mustard, YG, Taiga, name all the biggest rappers, O'Gizi, got behind one person and was like, we like this guy. We all like this guy. You know, because there's a lot of politics in L.A. obviously. Yeah. But it's like 310, baby, you seem to just rise above it all. Like, that's been incredible. Yeah. I mean, I'm grateful, appreciative.
Starting point is 01:33:42 And, man, I think that's what it takes. Yeah. Yeah. You know, you got to get behind the new artist. You can't. I mean, it's okay. I mean, sometimes people got to get on their own, right? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:33:51 But it just, it does, it looks a lot better when people stand behind me. Yeah. Especially as me being younger, you know? So, yeah. Okay, now when you wrap this song, you have a line in this song and I always go to it. When you're like, forget Poundtown and trying to go to Sok City. Are you like anti-skiy or are you like anti-sexy red? No, not a lot.
Starting point is 01:34:12 But I'm sure you were like writing that and it was a bar. we're talking about it's probably a bar you just say but then now like that's a song no yeah honestly i think this i was just talking you know when you're rapping you gotta just talk a little you know that's all it was i mean shout it's the sexy red but yeah there can be a pound town soak city the ultimate would be you guys doing a song yeah yeah you think so that would be crazy you're saying like you know something and we can't say anything it's okay i see the eyes look it's beautiful to watch you grow legit you're growing in front of our eyes And I do appreciate that while you, because I went to the TD Christmas concert,
Starting point is 01:34:49 and the kids were so turned up for you. You know, they're getting up on like the TDE sometimes because TDE is kind of like my era, right? But they're there. They want to hear you. When you came up, you did the song twice because they liked it so much. You see that the kids are here for you and that's just going to keep you. I'm sure keep you motivated, but keep them like, wow, it's 310 baby. I love this song.
Starting point is 01:35:10 You create fun music, right? And I think that's special. And we're talking about how the co-stop. is behind him. I think that's a part of it too. He's not trying to front like something. He's not trying to play into the politics out here. He's genuinely making fun music, right? Is that what we have more in store of when it comes to you through 101? We got music that's just going to make the kids feel good. You know what I'm saying? Of course, everybody listening music of all ages, right? By the end of the day, like, I'm making
Starting point is 01:35:34 music for the kids that's like me. And I think that's what got me in. That's what I'm going to maintain and keep going with. So yeah. Making music is one thing because you can, you know, do that all the time on your phone in the studio. But, like, was there any pressure to release a song after Sok City? Because it's like, you just have this incredible song. And then it's like wondering if like, what is this next song going to do? Is there any pressure to like follow it up? Or like, or you're just like, man, I'm just put all these songs out and see what happens.
Starting point is 01:35:59 Now, to be honest, I didn't put no pressure on myself because it wasn't, I didn't put pressure on myself to make Sok City. Yeah. I make Sok city so that kids in the summer could have a song to listen to at the parties. So it's like that same mindset. Like I'm not putting too much pressure on it. And that came easy. I wasn't thinking, I didn't think it was no hit. I thought it was another song I made.
Starting point is 01:36:18 So I'm going to just keep that. I'm not going to put that pressure on me. Then I'm going to make some. Yeah, that's true. Then you're going to be too in your head about it. Hey, feel free to send us your throwways. Yeah. You're like, I don't care.
Starting point is 01:36:30 This is nothing. Yeah. Well, if you hear me rapping, the same thing. Just don't be mad. Look, we got our guy DJ Eman, the legendary DJ Eman. And E. E. Man, I want to talk to you for a little bit. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:36:39 Because you see my guy through one old baby out and at the schools. And every time you guys, you guys have a school night where you guys are playing basketball, you know, and he's out there, and he's turning up. Tell me about the vibe of that. Well, first off, I just want to shout out 310, baby. Come on. He's been coming to our Power 106 basketball games for this season since we started in September.
Starting point is 01:36:57 Come on. And to see him at every single game performing to the crowd. And as a song blows up and continues to blow up, you see the reactions from the kids. But at the same time, seeing his development as an artist. Because a conversation I had with him and Gentry is like, look, you're not just a song. You're about to be an artist. Yeah. So in order to do that, again, the performances, the development and all that.
Starting point is 01:37:17 The mind state has to be good, too. You're not in your head about it. You're not big-headed about it. People will do more with less. People will think more of themselves with having done less. And what's so dope about 310 baby is that people don't realize, like, even after the performance, he still stays and make sure he takes pictures with everyone there. Because to me, that's important. That's important about being an artist.
Starting point is 01:37:37 Yeah, for sure. So no props to him and the schools love him. I bet. He's a girlfriend at every school. I'm kidding. He is not. He is great. Are we in a relationship?
Starting point is 01:37:46 Are we chilling? Are we focused on school? Man, I'm focused on school. I'm going to get a show for that. Smart. How many fights do you think he's going to get into for having said that? No. It's all good.
Starting point is 01:37:59 It's all good. Look, Matt is like, Tia, stop. Shut. All right, I'll be quiet. I'll let the music talk. We actually have Sok City queued up and we have our guy. It's really dope because we haven't had a live performance on this show. And it's going to be really cool to see you in 2020.
Starting point is 01:38:13 turned up with a start off 2024 with a banger. Our guy 310 baby performing it live right here on Power 106. DJ Eman in the mix. Come on. Smooth like butter like nothing. I got that. I got you. Anytime you need that.
Starting point is 01:38:44 It's cool because you come so cool, calm and collected. I love what you're doing. Continue to do that. You give the West Coast a new, like a breath of fresh air. And I know like you're making short and you're solidifying that we have more music to come. and we are repping in the game. So shout out to 3-1-0 baby. Man, I can't wait for rolling loud.
Starting point is 01:39:02 Yeah, rolling loud. Are you excited for that? That's a fed. That's big. It's in Englewood, though. Come on. Talk about the magnitude of that. It's crazy.
Starting point is 01:39:11 That's all I can say crazy. I got some surprises. It's going to be lit. Let's go. 3-10 baby. Make some noise. It's Brownback. Power 106.
Starting point is 01:39:18 DJ E-Man. You're the man. It's power. Brown Bag. It's Brown Bag on Power 106. Number one for hip hop.
