Starting point is 00:00:00 What's up? This is Be Real from Cypress Hill. Where are you from, Esse? Don't you know I'm local? In today's Booth Heights gets everything news. Enough. There's actually something beautiful, and I'm not going to hate on Boe Heights
Starting point is 00:00:14 for what they just did for a U.S. Marine Corps private. But we'll get to that in a second. Right now I want to talk about that whole little festival that was going on for free on a 6th Street Bridge. That would look so cool. I missed it. I missed it, but I saw it. all the pictures and all of that on freaking Greg sees Instagram.
Starting point is 00:00:34 You went. My bike was famous there. Everybody loved my life. Oh, you took your low rider bike. My low rider bike. Everybody loved it. But it was awesome. It was a nice day outside.
Starting point is 00:00:41 All the vendors were cool. It was sick. It was super nice day outside. You know what's crazy about Greg? I've been to his house before, pause. Yeah. For a party. For a party.
Starting point is 00:00:49 My mom's birthday. Yeah. Oh, that one too. Yeah. And the first thing Greg asked you when you go to his house, want to see my bikes? Of course. He's like super like, do you want to see my bike?
Starting point is 00:00:58 He has a whole little shed for his low rider bike. and everything. I'm proud of my bikes. One of them is... Like in stepbrothers, like, want to see my drum set? Exactly. One of them is China?
Starting point is 00:01:07 Asia. Asia. Asia. Yeah, all my bikes have names. They're all clean. How many bikes is it? Five. Five.
Starting point is 00:01:15 Five. All right. We're building another one. Wow. Yeah. That's super dope. So you took it to the 6th Street Bridge and you enjoy the festivities.
Starting point is 00:01:22 Did people come up to you? Want to take photos on your bike? Oh, yeah. I had little kids coming up to me taking photos on my bike. How about girls? I got... No. Yeah
Starting point is 00:01:30 You know why? Because Daisy was there Her bike My girl was there With her bike as well But I got interviewed by some chick No way She was like yeah
Starting point is 00:01:38 She's like I want to interview A bunch of bike And I was like all right cool I guess so Oh God You're like I also do some other stuff Like just more than a bike Holder
Starting point is 00:01:46 She didn't know who show's talking to Yeah Oh god Her fault Her fault I wonder if other bridges Have fests I know they might have infestations
Starting point is 00:01:55 But I don't know If they have fests Like the bridge fest But I think like every community, well, not every community, but a lot of communities have different things. Like I've been to Sail Fest in New London, Connecticut. And it's about boats. But it's all essentially the same thing. Are those full spot?
Starting point is 00:02:10 No, that was Alabama. No, that was Alabama. No, Montgomery. That was crazy. Yeah. That was a fest of itself. It was. There's going to be like a commemoration every year.
Starting point is 00:02:20 I love it. Like August 6th. When does happen? August 6th. Yeah, so there's like, but it's all really just an excuse to like have fun, go outside, you know? I just never had. that in the valley. I think the San Fernando Maw has something now, like the night market or something. They have a few things. Oh yeah. Yeah. I think I've seen that. MERS doesn't go there though.
Starting point is 00:02:37 Yeah. What was crazy is that the true, there was something happening on the bridge on the top and then there was something on the bottom as well. Wow. There was a whole festival on the bottom. Oh, that's a whole. That's actually really cool. Wait a whole festival like. It was like another event that was going on below the bridge. Yeah, right under it. It was crazy. Was one, there were different? Yeah, there were two different events. Oh, that's a cool. Now they double book. Yeah. Look at Bah. All right. Well, let's get to some awesome news that they're actually doing. A boy has its post office has dedicated its name to a Marine that I think we all should know about. His U.S. Marine Corps private Jacob Cruz, I'm going to talk to you about him. He fought in World War II, and he has been missing since 1943 since he was 18 years old. He passed away.
Starting point is 00:03:20 Okay. His remains have been missing since then, and it wasn't until 2021 when his remains were identified, brought to the U.S., and he was actually laid to rest. Now, this is big especially because we sometimes forget how big the Latino presence has been in these world wars. There's this one Netflix comedy slash doc that John Linguamo does. And it's like Latin history for dummies or something. And in it, he has like this speech where he's like,
Starting point is 00:03:47 Hispanics have been a part of every world war in the U.S. Like we've got them, we're the most decorated. We're the ones that have fought the front lines the most. But we always get forgotten. and we never think that we're part of history. And if we knew that, what would the world think of us? If we knew that, what would think of ourselves, of how much we've been a part of America's history?
Starting point is 00:04:07 So I thought that was really dope. And I immediately went to that when I saw this story about Private Jacob Cruz. Now, Boy Heights has named the post office on East First Street after him. And it's going to be really cool to see just like the commemorations and stuff like that. But what was wild to me is that his sister is still alive. And this is what she had to say. I was 11 years old when he left. I'm now 91.
Starting point is 00:04:35 And I never thought I'd see a day like this. This is crazy. That's so beautiful. What did she say? I couldn't understand. She's 91? I was 11 years. I couldn't understand.
Starting point is 00:04:49 She's struggling. Angelica, you're one to talk. She's 91. Okay. I got the last part of it. You're 30-something and you can't talk sometimes. She was 11 when he went away. She's 91 now, and this is so beautiful.
Starting point is 00:05:02 You know, well, she's talking in my head. I'm like, oh, man, I wish I had subtitles in my brain right now. I don't know what she's saying. Thank you, Lettie. You know how hard he was to hold back a joke during that, and then you guys made it anyway. I know, because that's like super abuelita vibes. You just said it's been 96 years. This is something beautiful, you guys.
Starting point is 00:05:22 It's beautiful. It's beautiful. It's beautiful. It's beautiful. For this Marine Corps private, Jacob Cruz. I did all this Latinidad, boy! And oh my gosh, 11 years old. Can you play the game for everybody to laugh and feel happy?
Starting point is 00:05:37 I was 11 years old when he left. I'm now 91. And I never thought I'd see a day like this. And you can't understand that? Now I get it. You hear it now. She's right. She's right.
Starting point is 00:05:53 She's 11 years old when he left. Yes, I see. I hear it. You're going to have such bad juju-an-G. No, Diosito loves me. Your punishment is you're going to live older than that. Yeah. No.
Starting point is 00:06:08 You're talking about Vindistle. All right. Well, that was so you know I'm local. Hey, Sambra Sala with Anci. Right, because this is so scandalous, Chris Sean and Blue Face. Like, we know, they're like in a very toxic relationship. They're so toxic. Maybe toxic.
Starting point is 00:06:28 Most toxic. Super tough. Yeah, you're right. They're up there. They're always making headlines about them fighting, arguing online, insulting each other, all of that stuff, right? I think he wants her pregnant to fight his baby mom. Yeah, trying to do like some like, winter takes all or something.
Starting point is 00:06:43 Winner takes the baby. I don't know. Yeah. And so right now, Chris-on, she's married. I mean, not married, but she's pregnant, right? And she's always saying, like, the baby's blue phase, but blue phase doesn't believe it. He's saying, like, nah, that's not my baby, all that stuff. And so right now there's like a snippet of them going to take a lie detector test, right?
Starting point is 00:07:03 And you see Blueface and Chrishan, they're up taking the lie detector test. And Blueface is like strapped up and Christian's asking him questions, asking him like, do you love me? And he's saying yes. And then that comes out to be true. Then she asked him like, oh, do you think this baby is yours? And he's like, no. And that comes up as a lie, right?
Starting point is 00:07:22 Oh, so that means he does know. He does think, yeah, that it's it. And so when it comes the other way around where Chrison, Christian is strapped to the light detector test. Blueface starts to like let all the questions he has like in his chest out, right? And so he starts asking no questions and she starts getting super nervous. And this is what happens. Have you been sexually active with anyone else other than Blueface?
Starting point is 00:07:46 Off the church. God. Don't call me like, b-bitt. Why are you lying to the light of tape chair? I'm not lying. Give my damn jack. Boy, let's play my jacket off. No, no.
Starting point is 00:07:56 Because you know that's not true. We're done. We're done. We're done. So they asked her if she has slept with someone in 2023, which she's pregnant in 2020. She's currently pregnant right now. And she said no and the lie detector determined that was alive.
Starting point is 00:08:10 That was alive. Wow. She cheated on homeboy while she's pregnant. Can't get pregnant twice. Can't do it. You're so annoying. And he said, give me my jacket back. He wants all the stuff back.
Starting point is 00:08:24 No stop. I didn't even think. Pregnant girls can do things like that. What? Do the sex or what? No, just cheat. Not the sex, but cheating and like all that stuff. She?
Starting point is 00:08:36 She's cheating. That's not cheating. No, but pregnant girls are just regular girls who would. With big ben. I would think like, hey, I would think like, hey, you're pregnant. Who Wants you? You're pregnant girl? Oh.
Starting point is 00:08:48 There's weirdos out there that like girls that are pregnant. It's weird. I was like pregnant, pregnant, pregnant. And I was at the mall. And then some guys. like, hey, I'll take care of that baby. I don't know if it was mini troll or mini whatever, but like a joke, but guys are down. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:05 Oh, yeah. That's so weird. Two months you can't even tell. First three, four months. Exactly. Yeah. Sometimes she don't even know she's pregnant. I haven't seen that, uh, those shows?
Starting point is 00:09:15 Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. I didn't know. I was pregnant. There was sometimes where there was a girl walking out of a store once. I was like, hey, she's cute. She turns around big old belly. Okay.
Starting point is 00:09:24 I thought to myself, I was like, hmm. Do it still hit? I'd still be down. Yay. Well, that's because he used to date a girl that got pregnant by her husband while she was with you. What? You know what? I knew we were going to go there today.
Starting point is 00:09:37 Wow. All the stops, Greg. All the stops. Wait until we have the Dodger tag, Paddy fan. All right. But Angie, you really think that pregnant girls are sweet. Honestly, when I was with little ladies. Yes, letty say, when I was listening to this, I'm like, how is this possible who wants a pregnant chick?
Starting point is 00:09:51 Like, how is she cheating on him while she's pregnant with the belly? Because you even see with Christon. She hasn't. You couldn't tell for a while. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It almost felt fake, like if she was just sticking out her tummy. Yeah, right? Yeah, I saw that.
Starting point is 00:10:03 So there's people that are down. Dang. You got to think, remember all those rappers who were in her DMs and. Oh, yeah. Yeah, true. So it happens. But then finding out through a lie detector test, like, hey, you. I know.
Starting point is 00:10:15 That's, like, worse than going through the phone, which I think he's also done. He's definitely also. But it's also just like, damn, you know, it is like a heartbreaking thing. And I think since then he's treated her, like, way differently. Yeah. And got back with like his other baby mama and like started to like publicly bash Creshawn and all this stuff. Yeah. But.
Starting point is 00:10:34 What's worse? Yeah, it's bad. If a pregnant girl cheats on you or if you cheat on a pregnant girl. Hmm. Like is it worse if you cheat on? Come on, Ari. I know you feel me. No.
Starting point is 00:10:44 Is it worse if the pregnant girl cheats or if you cheat on your girl while she's pregnant? What is worse? I mean. Because you're like you're like you're, like you're, she's literally pregnant about having to have a lady and you're cheating on her. The girl like that, that's a sacred woman. at that point. So it's like, don't,
Starting point is 00:10:58 don't, like, go around messing, messing with that. Like, you don't want them poking your child. No way.
Starting point is 00:11:03 You know, you don't want no shampoo jokes. You know what I'm saying? I think what's worse is the pregnant girl cheating on you because that's visual. You could see that she's pregnant.
Starting point is 00:11:13 Yeah. As in the guy going on cheating on the girl. Yeah. He does, nobody could tell that he has a pregnant girl at home. Yeah. Oh my God.
Starting point is 00:11:20 You get me? Everybody knows that she's pregnant. She barely knows sometimes. No, It's going to show eventually. It's going to show eventually. Yes, exactly. I think the pregnant girl going out.
Starting point is 00:11:31 Just because you can see that the guy is pregnant, hey, we are both pregnant. Out of sight, out of mine. Out of sight, out of mind. Is it worse if a guy cheats on a pregnant girl or if a pregnant girl cheats? I thought it'd be worse for the guy to cheat on the pregnant girl. I was thinking Tristan Thompson right now. That's all I kept. Because you're cheating on your girl and your baby.
Starting point is 00:11:53 Yeah, and then you're thinking like home girl, like girl, she's pregnant and she's going through all these hormones, all that stuff. Yeah, I'm thinking more empathy. Like, now you're hurting her. Your child has to meet somebody else's, you're not mean. Yeah. That's crazy. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:06 But a girl, even pregnant, has needs. So if you're not feeling them, another dual filler up. Obviously. While pregnant? Yeah. That's a thing. Yeah. While pregnant?
Starting point is 00:12:15 You need it while pregnant too. What? Don't stop with your girl. Oh, yeah. No, they wanted more. They wanted more. Yeah. Oh, you know from experience.
Starting point is 00:12:22 Oh, yeah. Right. Girl, stop bread. Got me doing a double shit. I never knew that That's something new to me Yeah Well what you think is nine months from nothing
Starting point is 00:12:32 It's nine months of a lot Yeah And she can't get pregnant She's not pregnant Exactly, can't get pregnant twice Boom boom boom boom pat I have so many questions Because I haven't been pregnant
Starting point is 00:12:43 I'm like How does it work from the side From behind? How? It's still the same thing Angie It's still I'm thinking like the belly's in the weight You're tripping not Angie
Starting point is 00:12:52 The belly The bad people do it It really only appears Fat people do it. Yeah, that's true. Like, it's okay. It only appears, like, most people, most girls only show, like, the last three, four months. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:04 Right? Like, when Chris-on went to go do the Power 106 game, it came out on that episode. Yeah. Is this when you say that you were on that camp? Not that he says it was. You could find Vic on Zeus Network. I am on Zeus Network. She's in that same episode of the Light Detective.
Starting point is 00:13:19 Yeah, it was a Power 106, all-star basketball game. And I was hosting. Shout to E-Met for that. Shut up, but it's like you couldn't even tell. Like, and she's performing full on, jumping up and down. It's like she's only three, four months. Pregnant women can do a lot, like cheat. That's something you can also do.
Starting point is 00:13:36 They get active. You're supposed to stay active, right? But not like that, you know? You're not supposed to be like activa. Yeah. She was in the crowd jumping around and everything like you said. I was DJing for Blue Films. That's right.
Starting point is 00:13:46 I don't want to make really quick. Wait, are you also on the Zeus network? I am on probably on it. I have a proud video of myself to do. It said, A-O-D, I hear it. Yep. It was like, next one, I was like, I got you blue. I didn't even say blue.
Starting point is 00:13:59 I didn't even say blue. You guys are annoying. Angelica, I hope that if you ever get. I've never been pregnant, so I have all these questions. Try it. You should try it. I hope that if it ever happens. I hope that if it ever happens.
Starting point is 00:14:11 It's really easy. I can show you, like, tell you. Whoa. No, not show you. Sorry. I'm sorry. I meant tell. What did he just say?
Starting point is 00:14:20 He said he wasn't sure how to get pregnant. No. I meant tell. There's probably instructional videos out there. I don't know. This is way too early. Yeah, we're about to give away Disney tickets. For real, you guys.
Starting point is 00:14:31 All right. The Zeus Network has corrupted me. All right, that's it for Sombrasana. Brought to you by a local Southern California Toyota dealers. I'm Angie from Brownback Mornings. I'm Power 106. I want you to decide for us. This is a poll.
Starting point is 00:14:46 What's worse? Getting cheated on while pregnant. Or being a pregnant cheater? Is it worse if a pregnant girl cheats Or if a guy cheats on a pregnant girl I'm gonna tell you this right now A lot of guys cheat on girls when they're pregnant It's like their go-to like
Starting point is 00:15:03 Ooh, she's getting a baby Let me go find a mistress That's dangerous It's very dangerous But guys love danger Yeah Danger's my middle of name Chrison rock
Starting point is 00:15:15 Cheater on her little daddy Blue face While she was pregnant They just did a lie detector test on their show on the Zeus network, which you can also find Rosecrans making a cameo. Oh, that's right. And me. I was the DJ for the day.
Starting point is 00:15:28 Rex, he was the DJ too. What high school? Camio bros. Sure high school. At Shur high and Blueface and Creshawn went out. And then they also went to the lie detector test in that same episode. And Blueface found out through a lie detector that Cichon has been cheating on him while pregnant.
Starting point is 00:15:43 Wow. So much drama. I have so many would you rather. Wouldn't you, I have so many would you rather she cheated on you while she was pregnant versus before because then before it might be another person's baby but while you know at least before because you have twins two different ladies yes that's very rare medical mysteries it's not twins but it can happen at the same like so they'll be like fraternal half twin brothers or sisters dogs sometimes do that which is weird they can have different litters from different other dogs
Starting point is 00:16:12 wow crazy I'm a biology class right now this is amazing yeah this is crazy nature is freaky All right, so we can't decide what is worse if a pregnant girl cheats on you or if you cheat on a pregnant girl. Irene, we let the phones decide. Who are we going to, Mamasita? We have Wendy from Long Beach Online too. All right, Wendy. Good morning, Wendy. Good morning.
Starting point is 00:16:35 How are you guys doing? Good, how are you this morning with this amazing Prego talk? I think it's worse if women cheat because, I mean, you're pregnant. you have a baby? What if you get an infection that could cause harm to your baby? That's right. What if you get an infection?
Starting point is 00:16:53 That is gross. Think about the science. That's right. That's a little, yeah. Yeah, like, you know, chlamydia could cause blindness. Susan, if it's not treated. That's true.
Starting point is 00:17:03 Wow. Oh, man, getting an STD while pregnant, you don't want that. Yes. But also, that's crazy if you choose a partner like that while you're pregnant. True, true. But if you're already cheating while you're pregnant,
Starting point is 00:17:14 you probably have low expectations. Yes. Exactly. Right. And, you know, you're going to be a mom. You better have some type of morals. Yeah. Do you have any kids?
Starting point is 00:17:24 Yes, I have two. Okay, baby girl. Imagine you're pregnant. Yes. Is it worse if you cheat on your man or if while you were pregnant, your man cheated on you? You knew you went through all that stuff. Like, you were going through hormonal changes, everything you feel the baby feels and you just find out this will cheated on you. I'll be pissed.
Starting point is 00:17:40 Of course, it hurt. But I rather, you know, if you cheated on than me going to do that to hit. I just wouldn't want to. Let's go. Let's go. Let's go. What a lady. What a woman.
Starting point is 00:17:52 Hey, you all are you going to get pregnant again? All right. One of you have to hang up on your phone of these horn dogs jumps on you. See you? See how you get into like a pregnant woman? All right. Who else we got on the line, baby girl? I got Millie from Riverside on line three.
Starting point is 00:18:07 Millie. Hello. Hi, hi, everybody. Good morning, Millie. You sound amazing. Amilly, Amelie, Amelie. Amelie. Hey.
Starting point is 00:18:17 All right, Millie, talk to us. What's worse? Getting cheated on while pregnant or being a pregnant cheater? Well, you know, I've had two kids. I had two kids with my ex and my second kid. He cheated on me. And I think it's worse than, I think it's worse to cheat on your woman because she's got a bunch of hormones, you know. She's feeling it.
Starting point is 00:18:40 And I'm not going to lie. I hope, you know, nobody gets me for this. But I'm not going to lie. You know, I plotted on him because I found out he was cheating on me. plot it on it. What does I plot it on it mean? So I made him a nice dinner, you know, nice sharp fork, and, you know, I got him in the leg. Oh my God.
Starting point is 00:19:00 Really! Millie, don't do that. You know what? Hold on, but I got to say that's better. That's still better than her cheating back. Yeah. What? Okay.
Starting point is 00:19:10 Okay. So, Millie, now your baby has, it's going to have a mom in jail and a dad that's a, a sin berwenza that's a cheater Oh no no no I didn't go to jail I told him you better tell him I didn't stab you or something You better You get me
Starting point is 00:19:28 Oh my god Millie how did you How did you find out that he was cheating on you While you were pregnant I found out because his girl His well no The girl's boyfriend called me
Starting point is 00:19:44 Wow She called me And he was, or he called me and he was like, hey, my girl might be pregnant. I'm going to get her a pregnancy test. I said, dang he out here, popping babies out, like. See, that's why it's worse. Because you're popping one and then you're making another one pregnant. You have a bunch of kids that are half brothers and they don't even know why.
Starting point is 00:20:03 Wow. Right. Mm-hmm. Dan, hey, you should have smashed the homie. No, Millie. Hey, Millie doesn't. No, no, it's not. It's good.
Starting point is 00:20:12 She did the right thing. I'll be in the emergency room with my leg, like, taped up. Be like, at least you didn't cheat back. All happy? Nah, I don't think I would cheat, but because he cheated, you know, the girl got all these hormones. You want to be careful because, you know, this mocha. I was like, hey, look. It's okay.
Starting point is 00:20:29 We're going to stop incriminating you, Millie. Yeah, I like Millie. Be careful with me. Do you know what you do, eh. That's that Cardi B song in real life. Hey, I love her. Keep around the line. We were on these streets this weekend.
Starting point is 00:20:41 Yes. And we met a lot of peoples. You meant like the people. Like, Vic. You met like the person. Yeah, Shaquille O'Neal. You met. Shout out the homie Shaq.
Starting point is 00:20:51 Shout out the homie Shaq. Big Diesel. Come on. How is that? Man, shout out to the coyotes. They invited me to their video shoot. And it was at Pro Club. It was such a vibe that brought it the lowriders out.
Starting point is 00:21:04 Shout out my Thio Gabe, he was there. He's a big listener of the show, too. He brought his low rider out. And he didn't know that Shaq was going to be in his car. Like, he just brought his car out. That's so dope. didn't fit in any of the cars besides the convertible. His car was the only convertible there.
Starting point is 00:21:19 So he had to get in it and he was driving around and he's actually in the video now. That's so cool. He was so hype. He was so hype. Yeah, shout out the yodies. They have a dope song together. It's coming out soon. How tall is he in real life?
Starting point is 00:21:32 He's the tallest person I've ever seen in my life and most massive. Like everything about him was just more than you expected. Like just everything. I was like, I can't believe I'm around him right now. Did you get to look at his hands? I not no not really like it was his feet his hands his shoes I don't know everything was just his shorts when I noticed that his shorts were longer than my pants like way longer and I'm just like I'm like how much thread was used to make these what size are these shorts like I had so many questions I heard he acts like a big kid in person like he's a like huge like
Starting point is 00:22:06 I wasn't around him for often enough to to see that I think by the time I seen him he was already in the sun for like an hour and like just shooting videos Oh, he was like fed up. So he was kind of like, yeah, like, all right, I got to go. Like, I gave you guys an hour of my time. And it's like this is like a billion dollars of my time. I feel like there's a missed opportunity. Because you know how he's like, he's in the movies. He does everything.
Starting point is 00:22:27 He does music. He does music. I feel like he would make a great giant in a Jack and the Beanstalk remake. Like, imagine what's his face just saying? Feeva. I feel like he says that already. I feel like he wakes up and says that. He has just.
Starting point is 00:22:41 So, hey, Disney, somebody get that together. All bass in his voice. trouble. Yeah. He's just like, he's an earthquake. Yeah. I was like, can I get a picture? He was like, mm-hmm. That means, yeah. That's super cool. You're the coolest member of the crew this week. Ah, let's go. It is only Monday, though. Yes. It is only Monday. We got more days ago. All right. I have a couple shoutouts. I love that I write it in my notes. Yeah. And this is what I wrote. Two fools and mariscoes in Baldo and Park. I didn't catch their name, but I was going to the rest and they're like, what's up? He's like, yeah, you got some mariskos? And I was like, yeah, you got some mariscos? And I was like,
Starting point is 00:23:14 Yeah, we're at the same restaurant. So shout out to the two fools at the Marisco spot in Baldwin Park. And yesterday I went to the mall and I was at Shoe Palace. And then I saw this little family like looking at me and it was so cute. I look he thought like, don't look at the guy, don't look at the guy. Because I felt like maybe the girl was jealous and she was like, are you looking at her? Are you looking at her? Because she was just staring at me.
Starting point is 00:23:37 And then I walk out, I'm walking out and one of the daughters comes up to me and she just shows me a photo from my Instagram. She's like, excuse me is this year? And I was like, yeah, she's like, okay, my mom wants a picture. I like how the mom sent the girl. She was probably shy. Yeah, but the girl, her name is Monica. She said, she's like, dude, I've been listening to you since you were Ricky and oh my God, when they changed your name.
Starting point is 00:23:57 Like, she was like, hey, I just know, when they're invested in me, they love them some letty. That's fine. So shout out to Monica. And I'm like, that's my sister's name. She's like, I know, I know you. And then shout out to Edgar at Target. His name is Edgar. And then it's, I was like in getting my fruit.
Starting point is 00:24:12 Yeah. And then I just see this. It's so funny because he didn't know. what Ali was in, but he kind of like hid in an aisle and was like watching to make sure if that was me or not. Yeah. He was like in the, in the aisle with like all the pads and the tempo. I'm like, bro, do you know what aisle you're in?
Starting point is 00:24:25 Fancy catching you here. Yeah. I see you there. So shout to Edgar. He checked in and it was really cool. Yeah. Oh yeah. And I got a shout out the lift driver, Jonathan.
Starting point is 00:24:33 Shout out my boy. I got in the lift on Saturday on my way to Reggatonlandia and he's listening to power. And I'm like, oh, you have it all my favorite station. He's listening to Feli because it's around like five. And then so I'm just sitting back there and I'm looking at the homie swift and I'm just like, yo, he's playing with it. And I was like, I was like, you listen to the morning show at all? And then he was like, yeah, yeah, brown bag is great, it's great, it's great, great.
Starting point is 00:24:54 But he's not looking at me, right? Like, he's just like driving. And then I was like, oh, that's cool. Cool. I like that show too. It's funny. Oh my God. So I'm just like right there.
Starting point is 00:25:03 And then we're going. We get dropped off. And I'm like, hey, thanks for the ride, man. And then he turns around, looks me in the face. He's like, I knew it was you. You know, you're my favorite one. He's like, man, I need that shout-out. You're my favorite one.
Starting point is 00:25:16 His words, not mine. He couldn't even recognize you by your voice. He said he recognized me by my laugh. I bet you you bunny hopped out of the car or something. He's like, hey, my man, word on Rose crazy. I'm like, hey, let's get into Word on Rose. I'm just like, I'm doing the most. Noticed me.
Starting point is 00:25:34 No, shout to him, man. It was cool. It was cool. That's awesome. You guys are famousness. I know. Yeah, really famous. Anybody on the street bridge, not as you?
Starting point is 00:25:41 No. The only people that know me are my, like, my neighbors. That's it. I'm not famous like you guys. It's okay. Somebody call in and say shout out, Greg. Maybe TikTok. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:25:50 I got a TikTok following. He thinks that he's famous on TikTok. Why? How many followers? His girl is famous on TikTok. Let me know when you get millions of views on TikTok, then talk to me. We have got millions of views. Got it.
Starting point is 00:26:02 Got it. We're not rose cards. Hold on. I got one more shout out from Berg. Patrick from Valencia, who listens to us from 6 a.m. to 7.30. Oh, hey. Shout out, Patrick.
Starting point is 00:26:12 Hey, Patrick, I'm sorry that you met Berg. I'm sorry he's talking. Word on Rosecrans. Did Berg send you? I feel like if you meet Berg, he's like, hey, what's so, bro? You work at Power One of those things? Berg's like, yeah, so, yeah, okay, too. Like, it's like, Burke, give him that experience, bro.
Starting point is 00:26:32 But what did he say that he saw him at the? At the gym. At the gym? Wow. Berg's working out. Why is Berg in Valencia? At the gym. Fact.
Starting point is 00:26:41 I don't know. If we're our boss, you'll see him. He's all yoked up and bald. You know, Berg, you don't even ever have to meet him. Yeah. We could just be a room full of people and you'll know which on Berg. He's like, pick out Berg. The one that looks extremely overworked.
Starting point is 00:26:57 He's forgetting how to interact with human people. Yeah. When it looks like he hates being there. And just kidding. He's so happy. All right. Shut up, Berg. All right.
Starting point is 00:27:08 Word on Rosecrans. He either hits it too. Soon or too late. I don't understand. Sci-fi. The quick or picker. Effer upper. Sci-fi.
Starting point is 00:27:17 Come on, bro. Goldilocks. Right in the middle. I think he's starting to like the chant. So he wants to hear. It's music to his ears. Yeah. All right.
Starting point is 00:27:24 Okay. All right. Look, the Paul brothers were undefeated this weekend. Okay? Millions of people watch Jake Paul boxed M. M.MA fighter Nate Diaz on Saturday. And he won by unanimous decision. But his brother Logan was also in action that night as he was the opening match on
Starting point is 00:27:40 W. W. Summer Slam against Ricochet, right? Ricochet. So Jake's fight was in Detroit and Logan's was in Dallas, but Logan was determined to make it to his little brother Jake's flight. His fight, sorry. So here's a piece of their face time that happened right before Logan's match.
Starting point is 00:27:57 I'm going to try and get there as quick as possible. Like, as soon as my match ends to the XVV to the jet, police has scores and I'm there. All right, let's go. I love you, bro. Love you, man. Best of luck. I'm proud of you, bro. I'm proud of you, man.
Starting point is 00:28:10 This is so. surreal what we're doing. It doesn't make any sense. You're right. All right. Peace. So wholesome. They're so cringed to me.
Starting point is 00:28:20 That was awesome. Did you guys watch the fights? I watched the fight. I didn't watch the SummerSlam thing. I didn't get to watch all the SummerSlam. You look like my Theo out there. Nate Diaz. Look like my Theo trying to fight my cousin.
Starting point is 00:28:30 Yeah. It was terrible. To help, to help Nate. Nate comes from MMA, UFC vibes. He's not a boxer. Yeah, but he was out of shape. Definitely. He also came from the.
Starting point is 00:28:40 the bar. Yeah. He came straight from the bar before that. So that's why it upsets me that Jake knows who to pick. It's not like he's picking boxers to fight. I'm not going to lie, though. He's a tough guy though. Jake, Nate almost got him a couple times.
Starting point is 00:28:52 Yeah. Not going to lie. The thing about Nate and the Theo aspect of it is that no matter how hard you hit him, no matter how drunk he is, he's back up for another one. Yeah. Because he stayed down. He stayed all the round. And he was tempting him.
Starting point is 00:29:02 That fool kept getting hit and that just, he just kept going up. Yeah. He needed jean shorts the way that he was acting. He gave me like John. scene a vibe. At one point he's looking around like give me a fight. It's like what bro like you could barely stand right now. He was saying give me a 40 that's what he was saying. They're cringe but they work and they have fans and they were undefeated right like they both won at the same time yeah yeah Logan took a private jet right to to Dallas and he walked him out
Starting point is 00:29:31 sorry to Detroit he walked him out. He walked Jake out yeah to the fight and it's just like it was legendary and then Jake tweeted my path may be different but my destination is going to be the same world champion by 2026. So Jake really believes that he's going to be world champion in 2026. Okay, see, and I know it's funny, and I know it's funny, but legit, it's like, I wouldn't even know how to correlate it to. Then just some YouTube star being like, hey, I could be on the radio after how hard we've worked.
Starting point is 00:29:59 And it's like, dog, what? It's like a mockery. Yes. And granted, like, he has put in, I do give him his training and all of that. Yeah. But also, you got to fight fools that are really in it. He's been, like you're fighting fools. that are like, I'm sorry Nate because you killed it. Like, you're the first fool to beat Connor McGregor. Like, he was really good in his sport. But, like, you're not a boxer.
Starting point is 00:30:19 You probably, it was probably in his claws not to work out. The way that he came not worked out, like, the way the contractors set up, he probably was, he probably had to drink five beers a day or something. Yeah. But it's like the, it's kind of set up almost. And that's why I don't like it's. It's like his strategy is like, okay, I'm going to fight these people that are like a little bit out of their prime, right?
Starting point is 00:30:37 They have a name. I'm going to essentially do these exhibition. matches where I'm going to get paid a lot of money and hopefully get the 12 year olds to watch exactly hopefully get enough like experience to actually have like a real real legitimate fight one day he's winning it the way that he's winning it he's setting up his own lane and all of that but where it ties into the actual sport of pro boxing is where I don't know like if it's going to stay in this like little like comedy like little parody vibe I understand but once you start getting to the pros with it I'd be interested to see if that works out for you because there's
Starting point is 00:31:09 legit you we already know the stories fools been fighting since they were five they're going through it like they really go through like the blood sweating tears of this beat them first and then I can be like oh yeah let's do the fighter not some fool that just woke up two seconds ago yeah Logan gets a lot of that hate too in w w yeah people are like you just walk in here and want to be a star like logan is actually impressive in w w and i can't be too mad at him because like i like the miss and he came from the real world which is like reality show and that's loki more like wwee than anything because it's like very like narrative and story.
Starting point is 00:31:41 Here's how we're going to go with it. Yeah. Logan's been killing it in WWE. I actually pretty impressed with him. Yeah. Yeah. I can't be okay with bad bunny doing WWE and be mad at Logan. No, but I'm saying like I can't be okay with him and then be mad at like him all in there.
Starting point is 00:31:54 Yeah. And that's sports entertainment. So yeah. Shout out to the Paul brothers. Invite me to the next fight. Shout out to sweetie. Because at the fight fight at the at the, what you might call fight at the Jake and Diaz fight. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:06 She came in as a ring girl, which is crazy. That was cool. Because normally ring girls are kind of like nameless. Like they're like they're there to show the car to look cute. But then I'm like, dang, this ring girl has booty. They normally never have booty like that. And then it says like on the lower third like this is sweetie. Now she was promoting whatever like one of the sponsors was.
Starting point is 00:32:27 But and that's why she was a ring girl. But I'm like, dang, I don't know if it's the W that we think. Yeah. It's just it must have got the bizag. But yeah, I get what you're saying. It just feels like you don't need to do that. Yeah. Like famous, famous people don't need to leave that.
Starting point is 00:32:39 That bag? It should be crazy. It should be insane. She was ringside the whole time. Yeah, she was. She looked so lost. What's going on? Got a bag, though.
Starting point is 00:32:50 Can't be mad at that. That's all that matters. Yeah, exactly. I have homies on the, shout out to Joe. I'm going to put you on blast. I at Golden Boy. And they're in charge of getting the ring girls. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:58 And legit, it's like you guys every day. Horns. Like, horns in the DMs, like, hey, you want to be a ring girl? Hey, you want to be a ring girl? What? Those girls are like, I wanted it all my life to be a ring girl because it's a thing. It's like being a low rider. model being a ring girl like stuff like that and so that's how they find them i'm like just
Starting point is 00:33:13 do it go through a process it's like what do you need like no you just get them in the dms just go to my my disco spot pick them up really quick let me know because i got to plug you trying to be a ring girl how much does it get paid i don't know what's the interview like hey hold up the sign you're going to go back up it's very hard work you guys it's hard work oh yeah being pretty takes a while oh i bet yeah i bet yeah All right, y'all, look. LeBron and Drake were spotted hanging out in Toronto this weekend. What?
Starting point is 00:33:44 All right? A fan caught LeBron and Drake and former Toronto Raptor player and Drake doppelganger, Fred Van Fleet, hanging out in the patio of Yorkville, a neighborhood in Toronto. And LeBron was later spotted at the Brand Fias show in Toronto with his business partner, Rich Paul. This seems pretty innocuous on the surface, right? You're talking, like, I don't understand whatever. Can you tell me like I'm five? Like, they're caught kicking it.
Starting point is 00:34:08 What is inoculus meaning? Like it's harmless, right? Oh, I got those are in the new VR glasses. No, it seems. Oh, that's Oculus. Yes, that's Oculus. So it seems harmless, right? But Drake works for the Raptors as a brand ambassador, right?
Starting point is 00:34:19 Okay. Okay. And LeBron's contract is up at the end of this year. And he's going to go to whatever team that Brani goes for. And the Raptors are a bad team this year. So that means they get like picks. Yes, they get high pick. They can potentially draft Brani.
Starting point is 00:34:35 And Drake might have been showing him around town. Like, hey, look, this is where you could live. This is what you could do. Nick, how did you get this reach so far? Like, how did you get that? My brain. How? He can't just be.
Starting point is 00:34:48 They can just be at the same place. No, people do this all the time. No, come on. And it's Drake. Look at the signs. He didn't have, Drake didn't have to be there this weekend. He had a show, like, in a different city.
Starting point is 00:34:58 Okay, I'm trying to, I'm trying to follow you. Yes. Okay. But you post weird stuff, so I try to. I'm kidding. I'm kidding. Okay. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:35:06 So you're thinking that. LeBron is going to go to the Raptors and Drake is trying that Drake is trying to get LeBrona trying to recruit him and Brani to the Raptors. Okay. To the rap. Yes. It might happen. By being where they are.
Starting point is 00:35:21 No, they linked up like intentionally. Oh, it's not to play music because you know how like LeBron is always like, like he does music. Yeah. Isn't that crazy? No. Was Brani there? No, he wasn't. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:35:32 So where did you get Brani going to Toronto? Because he's, they have a high draft pick. Well, what Vic is saying is that Thank you What big is saying is that Because Toronto, the Raptors suck They have a chance of drafting Brani
Starting point is 00:35:45 I'm with you So what Drake is doing is trying to impress LeBron and say, hey, if we happen to draft Brani happen to This is the city where you can come play too Let me show you around Let me show you around
Starting point is 00:35:58 Toronto. Yes. Who else? Who better? Brani and LeBron As a Raptor, both of them. Yeah. I don't think so.
Starting point is 00:36:07 I don't think so. That's a far. Let me show you all the stuff that LA doesn't have. Yeah. You're going. Okay. Sorry. He can clown you.
Starting point is 00:36:14 We can clown you. Me and Vic can clown you. Maximo is a Clipper fan, so he can't clown. Oh, yeah. And that's right. But you think that LeBron, after seeing what L.A. can give him is going to be like, oh, Toronto sounds great. There's a reason why Drake and all them even move out here.
Starting point is 00:36:28 No, of course. But the Lakers aren't going to draft Ronnie. I doubt it. I don't know. No, we're going to be too good. I think we're going to draft him because. is we want LeBron. Like it won't be because we need to.
Starting point is 00:36:38 It won't be because we want to. It'll be because that fool was like, I'm the king. Do as I say. I wish. But like we're probably going to be a like a top four seed. We're not going to be able to have the draft position to draft Ronnie. He's probably going to be like a top 10 pick. Well, let him go to the Dane Raptors.
Starting point is 00:36:53 You only like the Raptors because you like Kauai and Kauai came from there. Yeah. Yeah. LeBron said that. Whatever his son goes. Yeah. Brony has a heat in Miami. They're going to be too good.
Starting point is 00:37:04 What do you mean? They don't have the draft. First of all, they're going to trade all the draft picks for Dame Lillard. Okay. Yeah, this is getting very sports. Sorry, I'm going to head out. I'm so lost. Yeah, just wait.
Starting point is 00:37:16 Just wait until it happens. I'm not crazy. I'm not crazy. It might happen. We'll remember it. We will record this and we will remember it. LeBron to Toronto 2025 or something. Okay.
Starting point is 00:37:27 Okay. I'm with you. I'm with you. All right. That was your word on Rose Cranz brought to you by local Southern California Toyota dealers. I'm Rose Cranzvic for Brownback Morning. I'm Power 106.
Starting point is 00:37:36 Okay. Don't you know I'm local. We have to do this. What's up? This is Be Real from Cypress Hill. Where are you from, Esse? Don't you know I'm local? Eat my shorts, you Padre fan.
Starting point is 00:37:48 I'm lifting up my pants to show my socks right. I'm ready for this. You are not a down-ass fool and neither are your Padres. The Padres are pretty down. Like they're down on their luck. Down bad. Yeah, they're down bad. Who lost yesterday versus the Dodgers.
Starting point is 00:38:00 I believe it was 8-3 was the score, 8-3 to the Dodgers. And you guys lost on Friday to the Dodgers. And you guys lost on Friday to the Dodgers. Just 10, five. What about Saturday? Saturday? We skip Saturday. We don't remember that.
Starting point is 00:38:09 And you're going to lose today. And you guys are playing again today and you're going to lose again today. You know, it's, it happens every single year. What month? What month is this? August. Let me talk to you in two months and we'll see how your Dodgers are doing. We'll still be talking to you, being able to talk to you about games.
Starting point is 00:38:26 Your team might be in Cabo on vacation while mine is headed towards the gold. Our saying is bringing the gold to San Diego. That's what we're doing. But you've never seen the gold in San Diego. What are you even talking about? We're bringing it this year. They don't even know what it looks like. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:38:39 That's your friend. Sci-Fi just kicked you out. Since he's my friend, I'll leave. I want you guys to reconsider. If you guys want to jump on the train now, I'll let you guys jump on the club. Sorry, guys. We're in equal opportunity employees.
Starting point is 00:38:54 We have to employ friends of other teams. And Greg is a pot race man. Yeah, that's crazy. But they are, I didn't know there was a four-game series. There's another game tonight. The Dodgers have won two of the three. You know it's wildest me and Angie were in San Diego. We were.
Starting point is 00:39:10 We were. We were in Gaslam. Yeah, but then we went to Gaslam and it was full of Dodger fans. Yeah, we were shocked. Dodger Stadium South. Yes. Why are there so many Dodger fans down there? Is it just we make the trip?
Starting point is 00:39:24 Yes. It's because it's the number one ballpark in the U.S. That's why. Best food, nicest views. It really is, though. It is. It actually is. I'm with you.
Starting point is 00:39:32 I'm with you. It's so nice, but like, Padre fans still don't buy tickets. That's crazy. Like, they, they let Dodger fans, like, take it over. I've gone to games out there when Dodgers play the Padres and, like, we take over the stadium. It's crazy.
Starting point is 00:39:45 Flooded. And they usually get in fights. Now, just keep that over here, man. And then somehow when it's like a Dodgers Padres game out here, it's just Greg. It's just for the Padres jersey. With his Tati's jersey. I'm retina Machado all day.
Starting point is 00:40:00 Nanny Machado. I know he was a Dodger. He likes Machado because they got taken. I know. I just saw you with a Tati's jersey. Oh, yeah. I have all, you see my room all POTD's out.
Starting point is 00:40:08 I just saw you with your Tati's out. That's what it sounds like. So I guess it's only right. It's only right. You're here, Greg. You are our Padre fan. A loser. We are playing today.
Starting point is 00:40:21 Yep. It's only right. We do it there. Oh, yeah. Let's do it. Let's do it. Look, I will let you choose whatever challenge, whatever challenge if the, if the Padres win. Tonight.
Starting point is 00:40:34 Today. Today. Today. And we all have to do it. But if we win, you have to do a challenge from each of us. Who's we? But you have to, we, we, we. We, we have to.
Starting point is 00:40:46 Brown bag, brown bag. I think this is good. I know. If the Dodgers win, you have to do something. And I know we're not trying to have you in here for being Mr. Prank. But hey, guess what? You are. You are right now.
Starting point is 00:40:57 You know, if the Dodgers win, I'll let you shave my head. How about that? Oh, let me see your head. You want to see my head? See your head. He has long hair, guys. I'll let you shave my hair. Oh my god, you're like.
Starting point is 00:41:09 His hair is up to his shoulders. No, he looks like Jesus with his hair. This is the hair of the Thiage. He has the hair of like Aquaman. What happens if the Padres win? Hold on. It is wild. If the Padres win.
Starting point is 00:41:21 See it. I'm like, this is a good choice. We'll let you shave Vicks beard. No, I'm not. Too much at stake. Way too much at stake. All right. I don't know yet.
Starting point is 00:41:31 I have to have to decide. Do I have a couple. hours before? Right now. Right now. You guys. You guys help us. Help us with this bet.
Starting point is 00:41:40 I think that. Please be nice. This majestic beard is off limits though. Just note. Yeah. I'm 100% down. 100%. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:41:46 I am not shaving my head. I'm not shaving any of my eyebrows, nothing like that. But it's okay. You don't have to because the Dodgers are going to win tonight. Just saying. We'll see. We'll see. Hey, Dodgers, if you're listening, please win tonight.
Starting point is 00:41:58 We'll see. We want to shave this podry fans. I'm scared. I'm afraid to God right now. All right. You need a homie or need some help. We need your help. We need a line.
Starting point is 00:42:09 I mean, phone line. We got you for the homie help line. Robert. Robert needs our help. Robert trying to get to the bag and this girl trying to get in the way. Oh my God. What happened? All right.
Starting point is 00:42:20 Look, so we got a listener DM. He said, what's up, brown bag? Your homie needs help. I don't mind using my name, but please don't share my IG, LO. My name is Robert and I have a problem. I've been with my girl, Lisa, for a few months now. And a couple weeks ago, she asked me if I used to talk to this girl, Lorena, who used to work with me at FedEx. When she asked me about it, I lied and I said that we were just friends, even though we did talk for a little.
Starting point is 00:42:45 She found out the truth and was mad as hell, all right? You lied. And told me not to talk to her anymore. But by this time, she moved location so it was easy. But I just got offered a promotion and will make way more money being transferred, being a manager. The only thing is that she works at the. location I'd be transferred to help me brown bag what should I do hmm thing take the money take that money why do you know where she's worked
Starting point is 00:43:13 where she's transferred to mm I mean yeah he just like you lied about her just being your friend you're lying about something else Robert I don't trust anything that you're saying he probably like you still talk to he probably like watches from afar like maybe they still follow each other on Instagram or something or I mean also it's like a small knit community if you're is it work if you work somewhere it's like oh yeah so-and-so got We're saying Robert, take the money. Take the money. Take the money.
Starting point is 00:43:36 They talk for a little bit. What's the problem with that? That she lied about it. Once you lie about her, it shows me that regardless of how much you talked, it meant more than if it really was nothing. Yeah. Yeah, it was nothing. Yeah. And something tells me.
Starting point is 00:43:50 Like I told Robert to do it. I mean, like I told, like someone would tell Robert. Just tell her. Just be honest. Yeah. Something tells me that like, Lorenna is probably fine. Like, too. You know, like I feel like he left that part out.
Starting point is 00:44:02 I've never met an ugly Loretna. Lorena. Yeah. Like I feel like he probably left that part out, but it's like that probably throws even more things into the fold. You know, it makes it more complicated. She's just being a hater. It's like, you know, we were talking for a little bit. That's it.
Starting point is 00:44:16 But I'm going to be making more money now. What about I'm going to be a manager at FedEx. That is, that's what important. That's bread. And you're trying to feed your ex. FedEx for real. It says here that they talked for a little, meaning that he wasn't with her. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:32 She is being jealous. What does talk mean to guys? Yeah, true. You know, we just mean a multitude of things. Yeah. What does it mean? What is it mean? What are the ranges of what it can mean? Everything.
Starting point is 00:44:42 It could mean like we flirted. We had, you know, a couple dates or whatever. It could also mean like, you know, like. You guys got them geeks. You know what about you for? Yeah, yeah, exactly. Yeah, we had a couple dates, you know, I found out I didn't like her. So I'm with you now, baby.
Starting point is 00:44:58 You have a girl. You have a girl that cries at everything. Yeah, she cries at everything. What did she cry? Yesterday. What? It was like 20. Oh, because I didn't get her ice cream.
Starting point is 00:45:06 Yeah, I didn't get her ice cream. Yeah. I was like, what are you? What are you? 10 years old? I didn't get you ice cream. But I like Daisy a lot,
Starting point is 00:45:13 your girl. Yeah. If she saw you talk to a ex-flav unit girl and then you're about to get a promotion, but you're going to have to work with that same ex-flav unit girl that you lied to her about. You're going to say, hey, I don't care.
Starting point is 00:45:26 I'm going to keep the money. Oh, 100%. I'm running with that money. That's right. I'll buy you all the ice cream in the world now. Yeah, but you're working with the expletting girl. Oh my God, get over it. I'm gonna have more money.
Starting point is 00:45:40 She's, she, I'm with her, not you, baby. Like I would, you just said I'm with her, not you. That I'm, oh. Oh, sayzy, don't trust any other family you're gonna girl, Daisy. None of them. Wow. Yeah, you actually love that one.
Starting point is 00:45:53 Angie, what do you think? No, I was just thinking like, okay, if he's gonna take the money, just know your girl's gonna be on you all the time. You're gonna hate your life. You are gonna hate your life. You're gonna be true. She's going to call you soon. FaceTime.
Starting point is 00:46:04 You don't let you. And then I'm just thinking, like, if anything, Robert can rekindle with Lorena? Yeah. That's going to happen. I think that's going to happen? Oh, yeah. He's focused. He's bossed up.
Starting point is 00:46:17 So Lorena's going to be like, ooh, I remember. Find me a manager. Yeah. And then if that's the manager, then guess what? Loren's going to be hitting him up all the time. Like, hey, can I get my shift swifted or something like that? Swifted. Swifted.
Starting point is 00:46:29 I knew what she was talking about. Shifted. Shifted. She collapsed, she collapsed, switched and shifted. I like it. You get it, you get it. Yeah, I like it. You get it.
Starting point is 00:46:42 You get it to my office. Exactly. Your shift is getting swifted. Come to the room to get swifted. Yeah. All right. Well, let us know what this guy Robert should do. Take a job, bro.
Starting point is 00:46:57 His girl, Lisa, let's not forget about her, because all we're saying is going on out. Elisa. Elisa. Elisa. Elisa. Elisa says, hey, I don't want you to get this promotion because you're going to be with your ex that you were around and you lied to me about. Well, another detail in the fold that should be talked about is that they've only been together for a few months.
Starting point is 00:47:17 So it's not like a year-long, like, committed relationships. They don't have kids, you know what I'm saying? Elisa, she's very insecure right now. She don't want you to elevate? Yeah. So that means she just found out you lied. If it's all, if it's new, then that means the you lying about this. girl and then you not talking to her you probably didn't talk to her for a week and then now you're
Starting point is 00:47:38 going to work with her it's a white line all of that is way too too close it is a lot of close yeah because let elisa go to church with the guy she met from the gym you're going to be mad at lisa yeah yeah turn into another lorenna just be another girl that he used to talk to it doesn't matter yeah let me get your bag get the bag get the bag that's what that's gonna happen robber's gonna break up with elisa watch he should just do it right now you know we know she has it first Not if she does it first. You know what?
Starting point is 00:48:04 If they break up, he could wipe his tear with hundreds. And you'll get Lorena back. And he still has Lorena at FedEx. Exactly. Can we let the people call in and talk to? All right, check this out, homie. You need a homie or need some help? We need your help.
Starting point is 00:48:21 We need a line. I mean, phone line. We've got your fault. The homie help line. Robert needs help. Robert. Robert's been with his girl Lisa for a few months. and he lied about talking to this girl that works with him, Lorena,
Starting point is 00:48:37 and Lorena moved away, and now he's going to get a job at this new FedEx location, and he's worried that his girl's going to trip. Because Lorena's at the new location. Because Lorena's at the new location. And because he lied about her. He lied about it. But they've only been together for months,
Starting point is 00:48:52 so it's fine if he lied to her because they've just been together for a few months. And in a few months, it's okay that I lied to you, right? No. What's the probationary period of get your life? your lies out? Yeah, he didn't want her to stress. They were supposed to be white lies. It's a test. I'm testing you to see if you actually fall for it or not. Yeah. Good, you pass a light detector test. You can tell I was lying. It's one of those things where he lied in order to not stress her and make her feel like she has competition. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:49:21 It wasn't like a lie to like, I don't want to tell her. He's like, nah, if I tell her the truth, she's going to be tripping. Like, I don't even talk to this girl at Lisa no more. Smart. Yeah, he probably thought it was never going to like come up or. something but now it's just like keeps coming back yeah so you think lying to her is going to help her feel better than just telling her yeah we talked but we don't talk anymore no i made it worse yeah oh for sure that's what's making it more complicated his intention was not getting caught or dealing with the argument or any of that stuff yeah yes okay this already shows me his little playboy too because if he talked to lorenna at grow at work he's just looking for the next grow at work yeah yeah and then at the
Starting point is 00:50:01 new fedex location there's probably going to be Lorena and Doreen or Dorena or somebody there's going to be more girls there's going to be more girls some more money and more options yeah what's the problem with that girl he has a girl he's with this girl he's with what do you name um Lorena no way elisa sorry damn elisa doesn't matter in this story I feel so bad for the only thing eliza is right now is a girl that's looking at a guy and asking him to tell her the truth and be with her and take less money and take less wow It's terrible.
Starting point is 00:50:33 All right. I know. What do you guys think should happen? Let us know. Let's just go to the phone lines. Who do we have, baby girl? We have Christopher from Chino Hills. All right.
Starting point is 00:50:41 Good morning, Chris. Christopher. Good morning. Hi, Chris. Hello. My voice is kind of raspy. I know. What's up here?
Starting point is 00:50:50 What'd you do this weekend? Or who'd you do this weekend? Girl, for a problem. You're going through it, my guy. What happened? Coming from a spirit. Take the money. Coming from a what?
Starting point is 00:51:05 Take the money? Coming from experience. Oh. What's your experience? Yeah. Talk to us about that. Something similar. I'd rather not get into it because my voice. I don't want to sound stupid.
Starting point is 00:51:18 All right. Has your girl ever asked you about another girl and you lied about the other girl? Yeah. Oh, my. Why do you guys do that? Yeah, please just explain. To protect your feelings. No, no.
Starting point is 00:51:31 No, we do it like, like bro said, just because we don't want to hurt their feelings. So then when she finds out you lie, you hurt her feelings like two times. It sucks because either way, you know, we look bad. Yeah. But I understand where he's coming from, you know. Yeah, okay. Well, thank you. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:51:51 It was to protect you, baby girl. That's so crazy. Because as a girl, you're thinking, wait, you lied to me to protect me. And now you're my parents. Now you're my parents. He has a great point, though. He said, we never win at the end of the day. He could lie to her and if he didn't lie to her.
Starting point is 00:52:05 What's crazy to me is you don't try the first one. You don't try telling the truth to even find out. You guys just go straight to the lie. No, because it's like we try to tell the truth one time and it didn't work out. So we're like, all right. When was the one time in this couple weeks that they've been together? If you were to tell the truth, there would be no Elisa. You don't know that.
Starting point is 00:52:21 You don't know that. Her name is Elisa, not Lisa. You don't know that unless you do it. See, that's my thing you guys assume already. She's going to get mad if I tell the truth. Try it. Because at least you've told me. Too risky.
Starting point is 00:52:33 See? At least you told me the truth. At least you told me the truth. I can't be mad at you. So let's say I get mad at you. But he told me the truth. And so I'm going to get back with you because you're a good man. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:52:43 But now you lied to me and you were going to make it easier if this thing is a split. Because I'm just going to be like he's a liar anyway. Yeah. I got PTSD from my parents when they're like, I'm not going to get mad. Just tell me what you did. Just tell me what you did. I'm not going to get mad. And the next thing I tell him, then they smack me.
Starting point is 00:52:57 Exactly. Well, you were stealing. You were stealing. You were stealing and you were smoking. So you deserved it. Okay. I lie once and I'm going to get in trouble again? Come on now.
Starting point is 00:53:07 That makes a little bit of sense. Lie, lie, lie. Gas like, gas like, gas like. That makes a little bit of sense. Okay, let's keep going to the phone lines. We have Andrea from Santa Fe Springs online too. All right. Andrea.
Starting point is 00:53:17 Hi. Andrea. So I agree with the last caller and I think that he needs to take that job too because he's only just been with that girl for two to three months and he, you don't know if he's going to be with her again. Like, you know, for a year. year or two and his career matters. So he needs to go and get to take that job. But on the flip side, you know what?
Starting point is 00:53:42 You know, we women talk to men too at the job too. So you know what? You know, it goes both ways. Yeah. You know, we talk about that. So, you know, we got to keep that in mind too. Yeah, that's not at the story, though, because you already tell that he's lying. It's the lie about this girl.
Starting point is 00:53:57 It's not like, A, I found out she was talking to another guy. We're just trying to extra make him feel good about his decisions to be a POS, to be a F-Bel. Wait, all right. We all agree to be an F boy? We agree? Yes. All right. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:54:11 Get the bag. Get the bag. It's unanimous. It's unanimous, you all. I would tell them the same thing. Yeah. I mean, they're going to end up breaking up. Wow.
Starting point is 00:54:24 No, it's going to be a huge argument. Trust me, because it's like, okay, if you had nothing to hide, you wouldn't have lied. Yeah. You know what he should do? He should lie that she doesn't work there anymore. Oh, my. And make the life bigger and bigger and bigger. How is she going to know if she works there or not?
Starting point is 00:54:38 And then Loreno's going to be pregnant and then. Oh, God. Who knows? It could happen in the office. All it takes is some flowers and girls forget everything. That's it. Just trouble with flowers. You're like, you know what?
Starting point is 00:54:48 I care about you more. I'm going to still take this job. That only works for like a couple of times and then bam. That's it. I don't know about that one. So that's why I got flowers. All right. Well.
Starting point is 00:54:58 The homies been helped. The homies have helped. Get the bag. Well, you wake up with Elisa and get the job. No, they don't have to break up. It's going to happen. They could stay together. No, they're going to break up.
Starting point is 00:55:07 It's going to break up. Just stay together, go to the new job, and then let her break up with you, and then you're free. With more money. I want to throw. With more money. Simp. Or PIMP. Zim.
Starting point is 00:55:19 Zim. Sim. Sim. Sim. Sim. Sim. Sim. Sim.
Starting point is 00:55:24 Who is a Simm nominee today? Oh, man. I feel bad for this guy. Why? Oh, gosh. He got stood up on a date. Hey, loser. He lives in L.A.
Starting point is 00:55:32 And he got stood up on a date. and then he went on a rant about like a really heartfelt, really sad rant about how hard it is to date in L.A. And how he consistently talked to this girl for two weeks. He replied fast. He did everything. Is this Robert again from Homey Helpling? No, no, no, no. No, this is another dude.
Starting point is 00:55:52 And he was like, I'm doing my part. Everything that, like, girls say that's like, you know, they want. Like, he was doing it. Listen to him. I just left a restaurant after waiting 30 minutes for a day to show up. And apparently I got stood up. I don't know what to say. Like, I'm trying to do everything right to be a gentleman.
Starting point is 00:56:08 I brought flowers. I've been consistent talking with this girl for two weeks, trying to get to know what she likes, what she doesn't like. I made plans. I picked the restaurant the day and the time. You know, I've done everything to be just the kind of guy that would value somebody's time. Like, I just...
Starting point is 00:56:27 Is he crying? I'm just looking for my person. I'm just looking for the one that... I guess he's out there for me. I mean, I don't want to be somebody's husband someday, father. He's going to be a pimp after this. Yeah, I know it. A dog was born.
Starting point is 00:56:43 Yep. He's going to be a pimp. He's going to learn the ways of a pimp. Okay. Yeah. But he is a simp right now. Yeah. That is very simple activity.
Starting point is 00:56:54 Super simple. You know what? It sucks, though, but he was being a genuine good guy doing all the steps. He probably was reading books. You're the wrong guy. The wrong guy. guy can give me everything no he ran it to the wrong girl no the wrong guy for me can do everything just like the wrong girl the girl kid be there for you support you go to all your shows retweet all your
Starting point is 00:57:11 videos be buy anything that you sell but if she's not that big booty chick you like you're not gonna care yeah and girls don't want a good guy that's it yeah they don't want that bad boy yeah they want to be we want a good guy that we think is cute that holds us down like we want our good guy we don't just want a good guy you guys think like a good guy equals that's the one that i want like Like X, Y, G. Good guys are Chuckies in disguise, okay? I'm serious. The good guys.
Starting point is 00:57:37 But you want your dude to be the good guy. Yeah. The one you pick, even though he might be a bad guy. And I'm all right. Like, I haven't even seen this video. Yeah. I feel like he was wearing a tie. I feel like he was dressed up.
Starting point is 00:57:50 He was dressed very like, like, this is business casual. Yeah. Uh, date attire. He says, ma'am. Yeah. Oh, for sure. He's a very respectful. He's a very respectful gentleman.
Starting point is 00:58:00 Yeah. He probably was really. The definition of a gentleman, for sure. Did she know she was dating you? For me. Is this an imagination ship type of dude? Did he say where he met her? No, he said he picked like he did all the steps, like talking to her for two weeks.
Starting point is 00:58:14 He said he picked a restaurant, time, date, all the things took initiative. And she didn't show up? She didn't show up. That's another problem, too, two weeks and you're already like crying about it? So when you call these phone lines where it's just a lady that talks to you, she's not supposed to meet you in real life. She was scared to talk to you. Damn. Bro.
Starting point is 00:58:32 Come on, bro. Come on, bro. Can you just play a little bit? I just left a restaurant after waiting 30 minutes for a day to show up. And apparently I got stood up. I don't know what to say. I'm trying to do everything right to be a gentleman. Also 30 minutes is nothing.
Starting point is 00:58:48 In L.A. time, that's her beating traffic. That's her in traffic. Yeah, but she didn't wait long enough. She probably ghosted him. But yeah. No. She didn't text while she drives. Oh.
Starting point is 00:58:59 No, he definitely. got stood up. She wasn't showing up. This was bald, huh? No. He has hair. He has nice hair. Very nice hair. Yeah, I think he has nice hair. Let me see him. Let me see the video.
Starting point is 00:59:11 Yeah, he sounds bald. He sounds bald. He sounds like he's wearing a polo. He's wearing. He's wearing a lot of college shirt. He was trying to be elegant. Wait, hold on. Why are you guys bashing him? He did everything right. The girl didn't show up. What about her? What is she wearing?
Starting point is 00:59:23 Who knows? We want to know. Yeah, she didn't show up. Hey, if you're not the way, you're just not the watchful. Oh. Didn't we just. Tell this other fool robbery, get your money. Who cares? Like, you've just been talking about a little bit.
Starting point is 00:59:35 It don't matter. It was just been two weeks. He probably paid for her nails. Probably paid for it. Get it, girl. Let's keep that same energy, fools. What do you mean, get it, girl? Because you guys just said, get it, boo, to your guy.
Starting point is 00:59:46 Get it, get that job. Who cares, you'll have another one. This guy wouldn't lie to his girl. Yeah. And then they stood up. This guy would definitely never lie to his girl. They stood him up. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:59:55 I could picture him in a polo and jeans. You're pretty close. Wow. With glass. Yes, he has glasses. He has glasses. Patsy hairline? No.
Starting point is 01:00:04 Definitely a shirt from Old Navy. Yes. What's wrong with that? He don't have the most in the world. I really want to help this. I want to find this guy and help like style him. Make him a dog. Yeah, let's take him to the club.
Starting point is 01:00:15 Yeah. He's wearing a backpack. What? To a date? To a date. You guys. That's where he had the flowers. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:00:22 He needs to be ready for anything. He has no. Maybe he's a student. You see how there was the girl that called in and was still on the guy's side? earlier? Because it's like you can be, you don't have to be that bias to your gender.
Starting point is 01:00:33 Yeah. You guys don't have to be this bias to him. It's okay. I feel bad for him. A spade and call a simpa sim. I feel bad for him. So because you feel bad for him,
Starting point is 01:00:43 you're gonna call him a pimp? You know how many girls I feel bad for that you date, Vic? You know how many I feel bad for it because I know what they're about to go through? But I just let it run its course. It's content. It's content.
Starting point is 01:00:55 I just feel bad for this dude, to be honest. Because I feel like he genuinely wanted to do the right thing. Okay, so do you want to say simp nicely or do you want to be out of the sim chant? No, he's a sim. He's a sim. If you feel bad, you want to be out of the sim chat? No, no, no, no. This is the sim that it's like, we need to give you this simp in. Like, you need to know that you're a sim. Okay. So that from now on you could be pimped. There we go. I like that. From sim to pimps to sim. Simp. Simps. Simps. Simps. Simps. Simps. Simps. If you're good.
Starting point is 01:01:23 What's up. This is Be Real from Cypress Hill. Where are you from, Essay? Don't you know. I'm local. All right, this Bay Area couple, we need to laugh at the husband, but also laugh at ourselves if we've ever missed a concert. I know I have. Shout out, Zaza. Yeah. It's because we drove late.
Starting point is 01:01:41 You're right. We got to the farm late. They had a closed wheel call. We didn't know that happened. And then you lied about it. And then we lied about it. And then we fenced up. Are we men?
Starting point is 01:01:51 I'm kidding. I'm kidding. I'm kidding. There's this Bay Area couple. And check this out. The husband's name is Bear. His name is Bell. Bear, silver.
Starting point is 01:01:59 Crazy. Well, let me talk about this guy, Bear. He thought, oh, my God, I'm going to surprise my wife with tickets to see Taylor Swift up in Santa Clara up, up north, right? Yeah. And so they go up, they, like, surprises her. They go up to the stadium. It's cool vibes. And then when they scan the tickets, it's not working. Oh, worst feeling ever. And he's like, did I get scanned? Yeah. Check out what happened. Listen to this. Well, I knew the tickets were legitimate. I actually had purchased them through Ticketmaster, right? So I didn't have issues about was it a scam or not, but I kind of looked at my phone and that's when I saw Friday. I said, oh, this is not going to be a fun night. They went Saturday.
Starting point is 01:02:39 Oh my God, they missed it. They missed it. It's literally my worst fear ever. He got tickets for the night before and he went Saturday. And his little Swifty was not too happy. He did make it up. He bought her tickets to the LA
Starting point is 01:02:55 show and so she came with one of her home girls because he had to work and all that stuff. But one That's a good husband. Also stupid because then you had to pay twice for the tickets. Then not go on. Yeah. And travel. And travel.
Starting point is 01:03:07 Flying down. And I know he couldn't not do it. Because if that's your white and I know you try to surprise me, but what? You couldn't look at the date? Oh. Oh. It's my father. Make it up.
Starting point is 01:03:19 Make it up bear. Fix it, bear! He might not be the smartest bear. He's not the smartest bear. He might not be smarter than your average bear. That's true. And so. So he bought her to come enjoy it
Starting point is 01:03:31 Because sellers are still going on Like I think it's until next month She lives there by the way I think she has a residency now But that's crazy to me To me It's happened to you? Kind of.
Starting point is 01:03:41 What? With Jamie, we were trying to go to the Kendrick Lamar show And Jamie's your homey My friend Jamie Yeah, my homie from like since 14 years old We were going the second day to Kendrick Lamar And he was online
Starting point is 01:03:53 He was super hype And he had bought tickets to the He had bought tickets to the day before No way So then I was like Yo we're laughing Honestly we didn't even get mad We were just dying
Starting point is 01:04:05 So then we ended up having to buy tickets on the spot At the Yeah because you were there already I was already outside Yeah So we just bought tickets again But the funny thing is that When we bought them
Starting point is 01:04:16 The show I already had was like 15 20 minutes in So the prices dropped So we ended up sitting like super close Like almost like by the 100 section Wow Is that the heck? Yeah
Starting point is 01:04:26 Wait till the show I don't know No, you could buy tickets. Yeah. It's a gamble. It's a gamble. Yeah, it's a gamble. I always thought like, okay, show stars, bam, that's it.
Starting point is 01:04:36 That's it. You can't buy it anymore. They still want their money, so I could see why they'd still. So at shows, they hold off a lot of tickets for, like, friends and family. And then whoever doesn't show up, they release them to the public. So it's hit or miss. They could be sold out, so now. A little cuntary.
Starting point is 01:04:56 I didn't know that. I'm learning that. right now but it's like I mean if you live nearby a stadium it's cool but if you like yeah you got to drive out drive from the OC then and you drive out and they don't have any tickets you could just you know wasted everything and then told everybody that you're going to a concert and then you might not even get in yeah oh pay for parking and all that you want me tell the truth about who the homie help line was about yeah high risk high reward exactly yeah but you guys right my dudes in here have you ever got a date messed up
Starting point is 01:05:26 like that because that sounds like a very dude thing. A very, a very, oh, I thought it was this day. Oh, was that date? It was actually funny. So, well. Cinco de Mayo, I was pretty intoxicated. Don't tell me you forgot that Cinco de Mayo was the fifth of May. No, no, no.
Starting point is 01:05:42 I bought some Padres tickets. So I made a whole thing about it. I was like, oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, right? We get there, tickets are not the right date. It's like the complete opposite date and I had to buy tickets again. What's the opposite date of Cinco de Mayo? No, I had a bite, like, I bought them Enoxicated Single of Mayo thinking I bought them for this date.
Starting point is 01:05:59 Oh, so when I showed up, they were the wrong date, and they were like, um, your tickets are the wrong ones, man. No. You have to get a refund. I love it. You had to drive to San Diego. You were in San Diego. I was already in San Diego at the gate, and I wanted my Mani Machado Bobbohead,
Starting point is 01:06:14 and I was like, I'm going in this game now. Like, I don't care. So I had to buy tickets again. Damn. Yep. So I spent money. More, you double it up. And then you got to go again to the next game or was it before?
Starting point is 01:06:23 Yeah. I was like, Mom, can I bro some money, please? I'm home in San Diego. Shout to Greg's mom. He's only here because I miss shouting you out. Yeah. I love his parents. They don't love him.
Starting point is 01:06:34 Okay. Vic, how about you? I feel like it's a you thing, Vic. It's so up your alley. That I can't even pinpoint one exact day. What about to your mom or to your sister? Have you ever got dates mixed up? You know, I'll tell you, like, legit.
Starting point is 01:06:48 I have to really think about Luisito's birthday. Yeah. Because, I don't know, he was born at 12. Oh, 5 a.m. So he was born on April 25th, but I went in April 24. So in my head, I'm having him April 24th, and it was just a longer labor than usual. Then I had to get an emergency C-section. So all of this stuff is happening, but I remember looking up at the clock and it said, like, 05.
Starting point is 01:07:11 But anytime I write his stuff down, I'm like, is it the 24th or the 25th? And I feel like such a bad month for not knowing the dates. Everybody else, you tell me, I know their birthday right off time. Once my birthday? August 21st. Oh, wow. Wow. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:07:25 Yeah. All right. And then. Yeah. No, I'm literally. It's like there's so many things that I, that I forget. Like, I'm like, oh, that was today. Oh, I've definitely missed out complete concerts because I was like, oh, it's tomorrow.
Starting point is 01:07:40 And then I just, I miss it. Yeah. You didn't know the little, you thought you knew the little baby concert. Yes. I thought the little baby concert was next week and it was this past Saturday and I'm really sad. It's okay. We thought the Carol G concert was this coming week and it's into. It's okay. It happened. It happened. Let's just help out bear. Okay. Tell me about a time. You got a date mixed up. I want to know like when you thought it was your girl's birthday, but that was really your ex-girl's birthday. Like you messed it up. You got anniversaries mixed up. I remember Maximum, you said your anniversary was a month before it actually was on air. Remember you did that?
Starting point is 01:08:14 It was a couple days ago. You're like, yeah, our anniversary is October something. And then it wasn't. I always have to think about it too because of how it happened. Because it's like, I didn't want Halloween to be our anniversary. So we kind of like made one of the up. Oh, man. For the next day. That time you got a date mixed up. And we're not talking about like a girl you dated or a guy you dated. I forgot to show up to a date.
Starting point is 01:08:33 Yeah. A date. Right now, we are talking about this one full bear. Yes, his name is bear. Yes. It gets worse. He got his wife tickets to go see Taylor Swift up in Santa Clara. But when they showed up to the gate, they were like, April, these tickets were for yesterday.
Starting point is 01:08:49 Wrong date. Wow. Ouch. So he made it up to Wifi. He got her tickets. to come see Taylor at Sofi out here. Goodby. He couldn't come because he works and stuff.
Starting point is 01:08:59 He has to work now that he has to buy two pairs of tickets. He just got a new job. He just had to like get a second job. Yeah. For everything I got to put him for the travel, for the extra tickets and all of that to be back in her good graces. But we're talking about that one time you got dates messed up. You know, Maximo was talking about how his homie, Jamie,
Starting point is 01:09:16 got tickets for Kendrick Lamar and it was the day before tickets? The day before. Oh, that's sad. He missed. He couldn't even get a refund. So, Tan Bonito, Jamie, but too,
Starting point is 01:09:26 too, so stupid, right? Oh, Jamie. All right, but you're not alone. Angie,
Starting point is 01:09:30 your man just did this. Oh, he did. Talk about it. Full, he got us tickets to go see like a
Starting point is 01:09:36 comedy show, right? And we were in, Yolinda, it was like deep in O.C. And the show was that day,
Starting point is 01:09:41 supposedly him. He tells me, it's this day, it's tonight. We're going to go see this comedy show. So we get, we drive all the way
Starting point is 01:09:48 to L.A. Like an hour and a half because there was a lot of traffic. And Marcus is from Riverside. He's from Riverside. Dang, he put that Prius to work.
Starting point is 01:09:55 Oh, for sure. Okay, for sure. And so we get there, we pay for parking. We're in line. We're in line for like 30 minutes, right? And so we come to the front of the line and they start scanning our tickets, but they won't go in. And so Marcus is just like, oh, you know what? These are legit.
Starting point is 01:10:09 Like, I bought them on Ticketmaster. And so the guy looks at the date and he's like, these are for tomorrow. Oh, dude. So we were just waiting. We paid for parking. We waited all that. We drove all the way out here And then the whole time
Starting point is 01:10:22 Driving back home He was just apologizing saying Like I'm so sorry I'm so sorry I'm like I'm not coming tomorrow I'm not coming tomorrow Because I was gonna say At least you guys got to come back The next day
Starting point is 01:10:33 No no no no no I told him Just sell him and he did end up selling them For a lot cheaper than Who was the comedian? I don't even know who the comedian was letty I have no idea But he's like oh I really want to go watch him I really want to watch him
Starting point is 01:10:45 Angie he missed up You should have just went Well he could have gone with somebody else I would, if I was him, I would have gone. Yeah, he went. He's like a coworker. No, because I have its location. I would have known.
Starting point is 01:10:57 You have his location? Yeah, yeah, it's for safety reasons. Already? Already. What do you mean already? It's been forever for her. Safety is crazy. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:11:06 I'm good, baby girl. Don't worry about me. What's that you're going to do? Stay with her long enough. And then you'll share locations with her. Yeah. Does your girl have your locations? No, 100% no.
Starting point is 01:11:17 That's toxic. Do you have your girls' location? No. You don't care she gets kidnapped? Trust me, you'll return her in like five minutes. They'll return her in five minutes. Don't listen. There's the Euro Prize.
Starting point is 01:11:28 That's Greg's girl. The second that she starts crying, this dude's like, all right, I'm going to drop you back off where I got you. Isn't it crazy? Someone loves him. A girl loves him. That's right, King. How does she put up with you?
Starting point is 01:11:41 How do I put up with her? That's the question. We'll do a location segment after this. We want to talk about dates that got messed. up, okay? We're messing up whole relationships right here. Yeah. Irene, who are we going to? Oh, God, we're going to Jasmine from Anaheim, I lied with. All right.
Starting point is 01:11:58 Irene's laughing because she agrees. Jasmine, good morning. Hi, good morning. Good morning, Mamasita. Talk to us about getting dates mixed up. What happened? So it wasn't necessarily dates. It was more the venue. Me and my friend had got tickets to go see André in a casino. and we're from So we went
Starting point is 01:12:20 What is that? Who is that? What does he do? Bay Area. Oh, you saying it again? Yeah. Oh, you saying it again?
Starting point is 01:12:27 Does it? All right, all right. It's okay. I was going to share it. That's what you say. But, yeah, so we ended up going to the observatory in Santa Ana thinking it was there. And then we actually found out that it was in San Diego. Oh.
Starting point is 01:12:40 What? The San Diego Observatory. We were already late to begin with because she was taking Oh, sorry, she was taking me very long. Sorry, sorry, sorry. She was taking really long to get ready. And then once we made it there, we realized it wasn't there. So we went all the way to San Diego, but we actually ended up making it for the show, which was really cool.
Starting point is 01:13:01 But, yeah, it's a hassle. Okay. There's an observatory in San Diego? North Park, yeah. Well, I don't like that. I don't like that. That's on purpose. You guys didn't read the fine print.
Starting point is 01:13:12 They bought it for the observatory. They just didn't know what was San Diego's. If they listen at Andre Nogatina, they, they partake in the herbals a lot. So I already know. You weren't really reading and paying attention. They read the ticket and said essay. Yeah. That's fine.
Starting point is 01:13:29 Wow, but you still made it on time, which is cool. That means you guys were speeding. All right. Okay, well, loki, I'm a hang up on you. Okay, but what other dates have you got messed up? You thought that it was this date and it really turned out to be another date. Power 106, Brown Bag Mornings. Did you see how you almost messed up, Syfy?
Starting point is 01:13:51 Did you see how you almost messed up? Do you see how quick that you jumped to turning on? Yo, you're talking about, sci-fi? You're rapping Kendrick Lamar. You're all into it? All crazy. Dima-Lerrena. All right.
Starting point is 01:14:03 Brownback mornings, Power 106. Coming up at 845, we have your tickets to go to Disney, California, Adventure Park. We have those tickets on deck. We know you want them right now, though we're talking about that one time. You got a date mixed up. I feel so bad for Angie's man, Marcus. He wanted her to see his favorite comedian. And probably Marcus makes jokes and you don't laugh, huh Angie?
Starting point is 01:14:22 You're like, oh, you're not funny? No, but he thinks he's so funny. But he probably was like, she's going to get it now. She's going to get it if she goes to see this comedian. And then the show was actually for the next day. It was. But you didn't even want to go to the next show. I didn't.
Starting point is 01:14:34 I was over it. You showed up. They said, hey, bro, this is for tomorrow. And then you're like, yep, too bad. I'm not coming. It was like a legendary comedian. Watch like Dehbeau. I know.
Starting point is 01:14:43 No, I would have known. I didn't. You know, I think it was that dude that we talked about. What's his name? Ralph Barbosa. Maybe. Oh, my God, that sounds so familiar. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 01:14:54 Oh, that's so good. And because of your little temper tantrum, you didn't go? I didn't have a temper. I was laughing at him. It was Marcus Barboso. Oh. We drove for like an hour and a half. We paid for parking.
Starting point is 01:15:08 We waited in line. It was too much. And then at that time, at that point, if you went the next day, you'd just be so upset that you're doing it all over again. He feels like ground hugged. Yeah. I have to do my makeup again. It's okay.
Starting point is 01:15:18 What else are you doing that's so important? You missed the show. Yeah. Sleeping. Sleeping. Like just. Being with me and my babies. What's so great about that?
Starting point is 01:15:27 About the. Laughter is a cure for depression. Doing something for your man. That's what it's about. Oh my God. I told him he can go, but he ended up selling the ticket. He wants to go with you. Oh, that's on him.
Starting point is 01:15:38 And then you said he sold it for way less than he bought. Yeah. Wow. That's sad. That's on him. That's on him. That's on him. That's on him.
Starting point is 01:15:44 I'm not going to feel best. Yeah, she's not going to feel bad. You guys are trying to be like, there are girls that wish their men would spend time with them. We're not talking about Daisy. We're talking about me, me, me, me, me. And you don't care. She's the prize.
Starting point is 01:15:57 I am. All right, let's take it to the phone line. Who we got, Irene? We have Jonathan from L.A. on line three. Jonathan, good morning. Good morning, everybody. How you doing? Good morning, Jonathan.
Starting point is 01:16:07 Jonathan, I know you. I'm terrible with this, so I had to call it in. Okay. Jonathan, talk about that one time. You guys got dates messed up. So for me, it's not one time. I'm notorious for doing this. Really?
Starting point is 01:16:21 Yes, yes, yes. I've missed concerts. I've missed events. So I get invited to Jorge's birthday. I put it on my calendar. Okay, Jorge is my son Jorge. Jorgeito, right? Jonathan?
Starting point is 01:16:33 Yes. Oh, okay. So I'm out of town that weekend, and I tell my wife and daughter, Julie, say, hey, here's the birthday, circle it. They're ready. They get ready to present, and they do their whole thing. show up to Lettie's house, and it was one week early. They were a whole week early.
Starting point is 01:16:51 I remember you saying that. It was so, because Julisa is like baby girl. I love my little Julisa. Julisa and Luis have a thing going on. I don't know if you know this, Jonathan, but that's his girlfriend. I heard, I heard. Yeah, but they showed up, and I'm like, and I'm cleaning. It's a Saturday.
Starting point is 01:17:07 It's this, and Saturdays we clean. And then I just see cute little Julisa and her little dress, and then her mom and Nancy, and then they have a present. And they're like, yeah, is the party happening? Are we early? And I was like, yes, you're early. You are a whole week early. And the thing is that the next week, you guys had something, huh, Jonathan?
Starting point is 01:17:24 Because they couldn't make it. They couldn't make it the next week. So they're like, oh, well, might as well just give you the present that we had for Hortito. Wow. That was awesome. My wife got me tickets for Impractical Jokers when they came to L.A. And I completely blew that too. I blew it.
Starting point is 01:17:39 What? Why? Wow. It was from my birthday. She gave me the ticket. I was all excited, you know, great seats, meeting, greet. Yeah. I love the show.
Starting point is 01:17:48 And I'm, like, talking about it to somebody. Oh, I'm about to go see Impractical Jokers. I look at the date had passed. No. Jonathan, look, there's this thing that's called a calendar. I'm not sure if you've heard of it. That's a calendar. But, like, are you dyslexic?
Starting point is 01:18:02 Are the numbers, like, messed up? What's giving you a hard time? It happens, you guys. Man, man, yeah, so I'll let you know next time I do something reckless. Okay, okay, okay. All right, let Nancy, let Wi-Wifi be. charge of the calendar. Write it on your hand or something.
Starting point is 01:18:17 That's what I'm going to do next. It's going on my right hand. Yeah, exactly. I love it. Thank you for calling it. I love Jonathan. I love Julie. I'm telling you,
Starting point is 01:18:23 we already arranged his marriage, her marriage with Luis. Oh, yeah. It's so bad he forgot. It wasn't even Horito's birthday. It was Luis's birthday. That's how much he won't get, Jonathan. Luis's birthday was in April.
Starting point is 01:18:34 Horito is December. Ah, Jonathan. Well, that's another day. A fight for another day. Jonathan is having some trouble. But his heart is in the right place. He could tell. Right.
Starting point is 01:18:43 place. Yeah, yeah. But his mind is somewhere else. What calendar? The Chinese calendar or something. No chema. No chema. No chema.
Starting point is 01:18:51 No chema. No chema. No chema. No. You thought it went away, but it's back. Yay. Hedger report. Okay.
Starting point is 01:18:58 Hi, bye, Nick. It's a very special Edgar report. I was outside this weekend. Yeah, you were. Is that your Edgar report? No. That's wild Edgar. You were a wild Edgar this weekend.
Starting point is 01:19:08 I went to the epicenter of the Edgars. Okay. So shout out my boy Suede, MoneySweid, Money Sign Suede, RIP, Long live him. Today's his birthday. So, very happy birthday, happy Heavenly birthday to Money Sign Suede. And yesterday, in downtown LA at the Salis store, they
Starting point is 01:19:22 had a pop-up for him, his merge, just kind of remembering him, playing his music, and all this stuff. And it was such a great turnout. There was literally 500 Edgars. No exaggeration. It was such a big line that there was a line across
Starting point is 01:19:39 the street. It looked like two events. So there was a line to cross the street to get into the other lines. Oh. Right? It was a lot of love. It was dope. They had a cardboard cut out of him. His mom was there. His sister was there. His whole family were there.
Starting point is 01:19:52 All his homies. And he actually has a single drop-in today featuring the homie O3 Grito. I have a little bit of a snippet that we're going to play. Listen to this. I've been in my zone. I've been on the road. I finally understand. I'm the one that got a troll. I got a smile on my face for a living days
Starting point is 01:20:09 I was low. I went up. Then you want to see me grow. if they lock me up, please my own bell, so I'm waking up early. I'm lurking in the streets here, a demon is concerning. But instead of hating, all you should be learning. I try to act cool, but I got that really hurts me. A couple of my plans still working. I'm going to be 13, and here are already serving.
Starting point is 01:20:38 I'm trying to stay focused, but my bitch me getting blurry. Shout out of Swade, man. Shout out of Swade. We lost him a few months back while he was in jail. Yeah. He was murdered in there. And I know that since then, especially, like, with his fans. and what he was doing.
Starting point is 01:20:54 Not just like, low-key, I know it's like the Edgar community, but like he was really rep in for that, that vibe, that lifestyle. Yeah. And unfortunately,
Starting point is 01:21:02 he was, his life was cut short. Yeah, absolutely. I got, I was like looking around. I got kind of like emotional. I'm not going to lie because I,
Starting point is 01:21:07 I feel like I haven't fully like kind of processed, um, his passing still, um, because of just like the way it happened, just happened like so fast and sudden and, and unexpectedly. And so I was like looking around.
Starting point is 01:21:17 I was like, dang like, he's really not here, you know? And it kind of hit me. And then I started to, see like more and more people just so happy to still like be in in in his vibe you know and like buy clothes that he would wear and like all this stuff and I was just like no this is dope like he's he's
Starting point is 01:21:33 being remembered correctly still you know what I'm saying and um his family was there you know they were in as good as spirits as as some can be I made sure to introduce myself to his mom and his sister and it's really dope shout out the homie Picasso helped put that on and milo at the assalico store um yeah it was it was a really dope event and that was your editor report support. Yeah. Yeah.
