Starting point is 00:00:00 This is Be Real from Cyprus Hill. Where are you from, Es? Don't you know I'm local? All right. Stretch up. Mone and yon. Okay. Now the Halloween is over.
Starting point is 00:00:14 There's something else to look forward to you guys. Christmas! At Jemois. Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is before Christmas. Thanksgiving, bro. Don't forget about that. Yeah, don't disrespect.
Starting point is 00:00:24 It's important. The food. My birthday is also on Thanksgiving. But neither of those is the right answer. Oh, whoa. What is it? It's this Sunday daylight savings time. Oh.
Starting point is 00:00:34 Oh. Oh, are you going to say, I read. Your birthday. Yes, that's it. My birthday is Thanksgiving. Oh, okay. Wait, daylight savings? Yeah, Thanksgiving doesn't exist.
Starting point is 00:00:42 I thought we abolished that. Nope. Still here. Okay, yes. If you have, like, vaguely remember that, like, didn't, wasn't there a bill pass? We voted, yeah. We did vote for that. We did vote for that.
Starting point is 00:00:53 Yes. And you don't get anything. Victor, don't make Mayor Basker. Okay. Yes, it's called the Sunshine Protection Act. Yes. And it was actually something that we voted on and then was voted on with the federal government, but it expired in the house. So, like, we could say we want this and all of that.
Starting point is 00:01:12 But it expired, like, I think they took too long to vote on it. Yeah. So now Senator Rubio, again, that's definitely from Florida. I don't know. Ricky Rubio? No, Marco. Yeah, one of the Rubio's. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:01:24 I think there's only one Rubio, fool. Yeah. Not Rubio's Baja Grill. No, he passed, he put it up again this March and so they're gonna probably let it expire again. Right. I was actually reading though, Teddy Roosevelt when he was president, I think we had went to some type of war, right? Went to some type of war. And he said, okay, since we're in war or something, let's not do daylight savings this year.
Starting point is 00:01:50 And it really messed people up to not do daylight savings time. I know it seems easy because we don't have to put our clocks or put more or whatever. Or remember, which one that gives us more sleep? By the way, this Sunday is the one that gives us more sleep. Yay. I see? I wonder, because I've been... Feeling it.
Starting point is 00:02:05 Right? Yay! The body remember. The groginess is setting in. Yeah. But, yeah, we did pass a bill. It expired. The one in California doesn't really...
Starting point is 00:02:17 It kind of leaves it up to us to decide. But I think we have to get an okay from the federal government. Yeah. These are the weirdest laws ever, you guys. Sunshine Protection Act sounds so dramatic. Yeah. And you get all these folders of different bills like, Daylight savings, I'll put it over here.
Starting point is 00:02:34 Yeah. Some time of budget took it over it and stuff like that. It's because you're doing well. Actually, there's more risk of heart attack and car crashes in the spring forward. Daylight savings time. Oh, because you lose sleep. You lose sleep. And it messes with your circadian rhythm.
Starting point is 00:02:52 Does anybody know about that? Well, let's turn today. Your circadian rhythm is your inner clock. Oh. Like, it's the way, and so things shift your inner clock and messes with you. Think of, like, getting jet lag. Think of things like that. Like, all of that is affected.
Starting point is 00:03:06 Is mine broken? Yeah. Or does mine run late? Everything in you is broken. Okay. But that's not why you're late, dog. You're late because you're late. But I will tell you that.
Starting point is 00:03:15 It's my circadian clock. Sarkadian? Mercre and Metrograde. Is that a new bus light? Don't teach us new things because we're going to come with new excuses. Yeah. Mercury and Metrograde. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:27 We're retrograde circadian. Okay. I realize that I could give them a most serious topic in these fools. The two kids in class are two fools in classes. Yeah. Woo! Can't even high-five correctly. My circadian clock or my black balance, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:03:44 And you know how you usually have to prepare for stuff like low-key when kids go back to school, get them to sleep more early. Oh, yeah. They can get like to school on time. The spring one is go to sleep a little bit earlier because the clock is going to be. spring forward so that means going to be yeah this one is just sleep later like the preparation for this one is going late to work today that's awesome because next week it'll be on time okay i do look forward to it. wow see yeah right that means it's getting darker earlier yeah yes that's a good thing gregg it's darker in your heart already yeah but who needs sunlight
Starting point is 00:04:18 anyway right gregg yeah that's true i don't know who needs to say it on that you're looking forward to this You're match. The outside. It's so crazy because I never, ever feel bad for Greg, but I've been feeling so bad for him lately. It's crazy. Lapping up over the seat, that's cool.
Starting point is 00:04:36 The outside is going to match your insides. Yeah. Daylight same extent. They like to save your relationship. It's fine. Hello, darkness, my old friend. That's what he's going to say on Sunday. But, okay, we didn't even give the times.
Starting point is 00:04:50 Sunday, don't even worry about a lot of our clocks are, like, automated, but at 2 a.m. It goes back to 1 a.m. So, bannet. Shout out after does it for me Yeah except for the microwave
Starting point is 00:04:59 So you get an extra hour Well let's say if you're out parting Or something You get an extra hour It's 2 o'clock again Betcha the DJs hate that Running back It's happened so many times
Starting point is 00:05:10 You only get paid for one of those 2 o'clock Me till 2 Exactly It's 2 again It's the best part It's the best part Because I remember when I would go out And I would have to ask my mom
Starting point is 00:05:19 for permission I'm like uh-uh It's the one Yeah It's the one mom I got to know I'm waiting Alright, let's keep it here.
Starting point is 00:05:27 It's 5106 up next. We got Simp or Pim, Maximo. What's going on? Leti. We got an A-TL rapper, which I'll tell you the name later, who is asking for permission to post things on Instagram. Oh. Asking for permission.
Starting point is 00:05:42 Permission. Not forgiveness. We're about to get into Greg of the week. Greg or Pib. Greg, Greg, Greg, Greg, Greg. Greg. Greg. The flavor unit Greg in here.
Starting point is 00:05:54 Super sympathy. Bro, you're just bringing the sad vibes. Get over it, bro. Yeah, that's my job. Yeah, you ever have that homie like he's going through it, but now you're all going through it? Like, bro, get over her.
Starting point is 00:06:06 Have you noticed how, like, his hair is just combing naturally, like to the left? Like, emo? Like, he's right. He's not doing it. He doesn't comb it. It naturally doesn't. It's just naturally...
Starting point is 00:06:17 My eye, for some reason, it just keeps tearing on its own. I don't know. I want to watch Donnie Darko. No, snap out of it. It's a dark time right now. Wow. Why are his life watery?
Starting point is 00:06:32 Because we're not the people that allow you to have like a dance. Depression? What's that? Get out of here. Get a more part. We'll just get undepressed. Yeah. A little more part.
Starting point is 00:06:41 Find yourself a girl with a horse. My friend would never be depressed. Yes. What's a horse going to do to? You ride and you be happy, bro. Do you just tell him to write a horse? Yes. What?
Starting point is 00:06:53 Freedom. Oh, okay. Yeah, bro. There's a lot of girls that they got mamalonas. They got rich families. Go fang war park. I'm sticking away from the Latinos right now. Oh, you got a heartbroken by a Latina.
Starting point is 00:07:05 Have you or someone you know been injured by Latina? You may be entitled to compensation. We can't handle it. Our phone or is it your fault. All right. You never blame the shark for you get meat and pee in the water, okay? We're just doing what we're doing. do.
Starting point is 00:07:27 Simp or Pimp. Simp, Sip, Sip, Sip, Sip, Sip, Sip, Sip, Sip, Sip, Sip. Greg. Greg. Yeah. I'm watching us to the chat of Simps, Simp, and I see Greg, and Greg is just Simp, Simp. She's laughing at me. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:51 He's like, we have to. No one helped us with our trauma. We're not going to break that cycle, okay? Atlanta rapper Lotto recently posted a screenshot that went viral, and she sent her boyfriend a picture where she was looking
Starting point is 00:08:07 hot. Ahuga! Ahuga! Yeah. Oh, yeah. That was a soundboard. That was me. So you did again? My button's broken.
Starting point is 00:08:24 By the way, my algorithm showed me why witches use brooms. And it was, why? It was that. It was what? No, the thing that you did, what did you do? Yeah, it was crazy. Very, very X-rated. Maybe I'll tell you.
Starting point is 00:08:38 Oh. Whoa. Yeah. All right. Well, she sent her picture where she was looking really good, respectfully. Lado did. And she asked her. She asked him.
Starting point is 00:08:48 Sorry. She said, hey, sorry. She asked him. Like is it too much? Yeah It was like a sponsored post Savage Fence Which is lingerie
Starting point is 00:09:02 Yeah She's knelt down And she's kind of tugging At her underwear Yep Like her little chon chons And she's like looking at the mirror Like to the side like
Starting point is 00:09:11 Yeah I'm a little bit naughty Like that And she says it too much And then he replied Nah you look good Which gave her permission So the question is
Starting point is 00:09:19 Is asking for permission Simp Is no one Knowing you can't tell her no sim. That is true. You think she would have posted anyway? Yes. He would have,
Starting point is 00:09:31 and he's, you saw the post. Everybody can go see the post, Bradline morning, now. 106, we're going to post it up. You can look at the post yourself. Would you okay this post?
Starting point is 00:09:42 Does it make you simp for okaying the post? Because yeah, she's asking for permission, but she's also doing something else. It's like what we do as girls. It's like, hey, look how hot I look as my man. Right. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:53 It's like, I'm going to post this, but I'm going to make you feel good about it. But if I'm not mistaken, she posted that as a response to people criticizing her for like, oh, if I had a man like you do lotto, I wouldn't have posted this. Right. And then she posted a screenshot like, look, this is what I do. I already got my quote-unquote permission. And that was kind of like the thing. And she was like, it was like her receipts. Yeah, exactly.
Starting point is 00:10:17 So it was like she didn't, I get, but that's maybe that's her natural process. Like whenever she thinks maybe this is too much. She'll send it to her boo daddy. Because that's what said. And like she, yeah, that's the new. Is there a knife next to it? A buddadi knife. Boo dung slatter gang.
Starting point is 00:10:36 Yeah, because no one, to this day, no one knows who it is. Yeah. Well, we all. We all have. Heavy speculation. There's heavy speculation on who it is. Okay. But I don't know.
Starting point is 00:10:45 Do you think if it would have been like, nah, not okay? She'd be like, all right, I'm not posting it? No. Yeah. So it's regardless, it's like. She would have been like, well, I have to post for Savage. Yeah, I don't think
Starting point is 00:10:55 I think that was like a kind gesture But I think she would have posted anyway She wanted to give him the heads up That's a heads up text Yeah exactly I like the time I like this picture a lot actually I'm looking at it right now
Starting point is 00:11:04 It's a nice photo The girl you don't have text And says hey is this okay to post Will you say yes? Post it I'm like yeah that's all me But you're also a sim That's all me right there
Starting point is 00:11:18 I saw you Yeah go ahead look Guess who's coming home to that Do you believe that? I don't believe it. No. Daisy couldn't even drink a coffee with other people. You're not wrong.
Starting point is 00:11:33 Toxic. I don't know. I'd probably be like, yeah, sure. But really the downside, I'd be like, no. Oh, me good enough. Everyone's going to know why. You wear those hoodies. Who are you talking about?
Starting point is 00:11:49 Huh? What are you talking about? What are you talking about Irene? Why Irene wears hoodies? Oh, he said it. Yeah, he said. Yeah, I know. You know what I read stinging hoodies.
Starting point is 00:12:01 Don't do that. You're trying to start with me, Mick. What? I'll take it out on you. I like a part of our jokes is just everyone wants to kiss each other in the room. What? No. Like, that's the joke.
Starting point is 00:12:14 Yeah, yo, I don't want to kiss. Oh, do you want a joke? Yeah, that is a joke. Yeah, that's our thing. I don't know what to make the guy. I don't just say that. Just say it. At 8.30 will be placed in the bottle.
Starting point is 00:12:27 Okay. Lato, is it seem that she asked for permission. Have guys. Is there any reason why a guy would ask his girl for permission? Never. To post. Never. There's no post.
Starting point is 00:12:41 No. You're a photographer. What about shooting another girl? I think that is a conversation that you have before, like, even being together. So I would have these conversations. and then I'd be like, yo, I shoot a girl sometimes. But you were a pothead when you first met her. You weren't a photographer.
Starting point is 00:12:58 No, I was already shooting. I was a little bit of both. You're a photographer? Sprinkle some hair, sprinkle some hair. But yeah, and then when she saw the photos at first, it is a little weird, especially when things look a little wild. Yeah. And then after it's like you got to get used to it.
Starting point is 00:13:17 Oh, yeah, because weren't you in that one video where Jupriko's driving and then there's like a girl twirking. Oh, yeah. Yeah. That was crazy. Was that a conversation? That was a surprise. A big surprise.
Starting point is 00:13:29 I ask for forgiveness, not permission, usually, when it comes to stuff like that. Like, over the weekend, like, I was posting like, like, what am I for Halloween? And then girls were just whaling. And I was, like, reposting them. And then I got like a bunch of, like, well, not a bunch. But, like, oh, wow, you're for everybody. And I was just like, it's a joke. Los Angeles, this is how you get blocked.
Starting point is 00:13:49 Yeah. My logic was that I would post when girls were on stage Because I would get attention to the people walking in And it's like, hey, you can't get mad at me I'm just trying to do my job and having these girls on stage Okay, please explain that again So when I'm DJing You're also a DJ.
Starting point is 00:14:05 Yeah, I'm DJing So on your Instagram Let me go look at how many followers you have Girls will be on stage And they will post me and tag me and I'll repost it Okay And it's just like Do you select the girls or any girl that wants to go on stage?
Starting point is 00:14:18 So you had posted to your 4,000 followers know Yeah, let my 4,000 followers know That this place is popping And that there's girls on stage And come through Okay, but what part was the Ahuga?
Starting point is 00:14:37 Did that help? No. Did you ever think about asking her? Yeah, that's what I'm saying. I would ask you like, oh, is this cool post? Yeah. And what would you say a lot of the times? It's cool.
Starting point is 00:14:50 Like, there's nothing bad in it. There's not even going to end up with a toxicica, that's not going to let you post anybody that's going to be standing next to you. No, yeah, don't stand. Ruin the vibes? Yeah, don't stand next to you. Choose the girls that can come on stage. Yeah, exactly.
Starting point is 00:15:02 So clearly we've had like two out of three guys don't ask for permission. No. And Lado asking for permission is Simpy to you guys. It's respectfully, Simpy. It's respectfully simply. Yeah, I mean, because she's going to do it anyway. I mean, her man, same. And from that thing, yes, it seemed to me.
Starting point is 00:15:23 Yes. He is, yeah. I would have said honestly, do what you want. Oh, that's like very cold. That's a very cold. You look good. Do you, like, do it. Like, if you feel like good, you're good.
Starting point is 00:15:33 Oh, that's going to start an argument. What do you mean? Because I don't want to make a decision for you. But also. You were posting some sexy hot chiros costume photos yesterday. Okay. Would you ask him for permission, Marcus? Would I ask him for permission?
Starting point is 00:15:49 No, but I gave him a heads up. Like, hey, phone, I'm going to post these. Look. So you just get a head there. Yeah, then I'll be like, which one should I post? Yeah. Oh. So that's the same thing.
Starting point is 00:15:57 She just flips it. Like, which one do you like? No wonder you post the one where your eyes a little crooked in her. He chills out. Yeah. Oh, this one's my favorite one. Right. And then I look at it back and I'm like, oh.
Starting point is 00:16:12 Rule number one as a girl, I never choose the photos he likes because they never like the same thing you like. Oh. This is new to me. It's new to me. All right. What's our decision on Lado? Is Lado is SIMP for asking her man if she can post a sexy photo? He said yes, so she posted it. I think she's pretty pimp because she was going to do it anyway.
Starting point is 00:16:32 Yeah. And she didn't like, she got the points for like asking for, yeah, being considerate, but she was going to do it anyway. Of course. That's pretty pimp of her. That is pimp. And then you know what we say when they beat the sim. That's right.
Starting point is 00:16:46 What do we say, Victor? You get a special pimp, pimp, hooray. Pim-poo! I don't have it. Pim-pil! Pim! Pim! That's good!
Starting point is 00:16:54 Pim! You are not a sift. You are a... Pim-pil! All right! It's Wednesday. November 1st. Shout at us.
Starting point is 00:17:04 Yeah. Years flying. All right. That's been gone from to November. And you're back. They're coming back? Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:12 Coming back. Don't worry, Greg. No. Wait, I don't know. Lost. Yeah, I don't know. To November. You guys don't know the song.
Starting point is 00:17:18 Oh. Oh. No. Angelica, don't do that. Don't do that, Greg is just like, Wake me when September ends. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:25 Wait me. Next September? Yeah. Okay. Poor guy. Time to get into some nom-nom-n-n-n-n-n-n-n-n-n-n-n-n-n-n-n-n-n-n-n-n-h. N-n-n-h-h-h-h-h-h-h. And I just want you to know, what's name, Greg?
Starting point is 00:17:42 Yeah. That we're purposely not doing scrolling with the homies because you get so upset that Maximo does it. See, look, we're being about you. Yeah. I don't know. Unless you have a scrolling with the homies. I mean, I could pull one up in like five minutes if you want to meet.
Starting point is 00:17:55 Oh, that's easy. Oh, that's easy. Oh, that's amazing. Love it. All right. Work on our scrolling with the homies. I'm going to tell you, I'm asking for it in five minutes.
Starting point is 00:18:03 But we got some nom-nom-nom, man, man, ghan, gna, gna, greg. Now have a question. When you make a couple noodles, how do you make it? With water. Okay.
Starting point is 00:18:12 What is your process? Obviously. Put water, you fill it to the line, and then you throw it in the micro. Yeah. Nice. And I judge you.
Starting point is 00:18:19 if you are a child and you throw away all the veggies. Right. Let the children throw the veggies out. You guys don't put it in a pot? I put it in a... So listen. Yeah, I boil water and I throw away. You didn't ask a specific question
Starting point is 00:18:31 and you should have because I know what you're getting at. No, listen. So Nissan, the cup of noodles brand, just announced. It's not Nissan. It's Nissan. Listen. Listen. Listen.
Starting point is 00:18:40 Listen. Nissan makes cars in a cup of noodles? Sorry. Listen. Nissan ultimate. I'm correct. I'm not correct. How does it fell?
Starting point is 00:18:49 No, it's Nissen. Nissen. Spill it, spell it. Nissen just announced that in 20. He literally read Nissan. No, boy, we're, shut up. You're Ron Burgundy. Who's Ron Burgundy now?
Starting point is 00:18:59 Oh, you're not. New line of cars. Yeah, it comes with the car you buy. Okay. Wow. But they just announced in 2024 that they're going to have microwavable cup of noodles. What do you mean?
Starting point is 00:19:13 Microwaveable? We're not, you mean there's not already? In 2020. It's been microwavable all this time? No. In 2024, they're making microwavable cup of noodles. Oh, man. We've been doing it wrong this whole time.
Starting point is 00:19:26 Oh, my God. Wait, so what's going to be the difference? That is probably in a microwavable safe container. Because I feel like that plastic, look, have you ever left it on too long? The foam and it kind of warps. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:41 Hey when it does that. Yeah. Makes it taste funny. Yeah. And that's why it's not. You know, it's crazy? I always added an extra minute. Oh, wow.
Starting point is 00:19:54 So, I'm starting to make sense. My dad loves me, so my dad would make it. And when he would make it, he would boil the water and then put it in. And then leave the fork over it. He read the instructions. Okay, so to me, so the cup of noodles was intended to put in the microwave because it's already in a cup. Yeah, it's not a ball of it. And then you can just eat it from there.
Starting point is 00:20:14 You don't have to get a bowl out. You don't have to watch after it. But then there's the other. Yeah, the one in the bag. The one that comes in the bag. And it's like that one's for stove top. Yeah, that one's for stove top. So to me, it made sense the whole time.
Starting point is 00:20:25 It's like this stove top, this microwave. Same. I don't know where I got that from. The bag ones? I love the bag ones. Really? I never like the bag ones. Those are way better.
Starting point is 00:20:33 Not enough salt. Not enough MSG. Well, yes. So next year, look out for it, 2024. Is it not the brand cup noodles? It's all going to be plastic-free. Listen. Listen, listen. Am I the only one that ate them cold?
Starting point is 00:20:53 Like, I like them cold. What do you mean? Just like your heart? No, no, no, no, no. I know what you're talking about. And the package one, we would eat them like that. Yeah, it's cold. It tastes good.
Starting point is 00:21:02 Do you mean dry? Or you let it cool down? Like, let it cool down all the way. Yeah, and you're thinking of this different thing. Wait, you see it like chips? She would get the brick and she would eat the heart. Oh, let me eat the brew. I would get the brick and then just smash it and then just eat it.
Starting point is 00:21:17 Oh, okay, I don't know about that. He's talking about you make it, then you let it cool, and then you eat it cold. Eat it cold. I feel like it tastes better. Cold noodles? Yeah. Ooh, or cup of noodles, but undercooked, it's so good, too. What do you mean?
Starting point is 00:21:30 Alente. Okay, the cold one tastes kind of sandy, because at that point, the soup is starting to get, like, solid again. Yeah, no, it's only weird. It's always weird. It falls apart. And then it just eat it and it tastes, oh, it tastes so good. I can taste it out cold. I can already, like, taste the taste of it, and it's just really weird.
Starting point is 00:21:46 Yeah. Like that texture that it starts getting, no, thank you. No. Okay. How do you eat your cup and like, what do you put on it? Ooh, tapatio. Gotta throw some tapatio in there. A little tapa.
Starting point is 00:21:55 A little bit of lemon. Yeah, maybe a little bit of lemon. Definitely. That extra minute and boom, you ready to go. What extra minute, bro? It's hot. Nice and bold. You don't got to wait.
Starting point is 00:22:06 No, I don't got patience like that. Bro, all you got to do is just let it stand for like a minute. It'll cook itself. Yeah. Nope. Okay, this is an important question. Do you drink the, after you finish the, all the noodles, do you drink the rest of it?
Starting point is 00:22:18 No. Yes. Mandatory. No. No. Because yours is cold. I throw it out. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:22:25 What is? Like, I'm telling you. We're going to throw you out. Get out. Yeah. Respectful. You don't waste food. You don't waste food.
Starting point is 00:22:33 That's not food. Yeah. It is food. Water. No. Why are you lying? I need all that extra MSG. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:22:41 All right? You need the plastic that's in the water. Yes. I need it all. That's look for the best part. Yeah. Yeah. Even when I cut up fruit.
Starting point is 00:22:48 Yeah. No, that's, I don't know. Like the water. No, that's gross to me. I don't know why. Well, that's why she left you. Keep it here. I just want to take a group survey. Chess.
Starting point is 00:23:00 And let me know if this is true for anybody in here and anybody listening. Are you going to read us? No, no, no. It's totally separate. When did you start practicing? No. Does anyone have a mom? Yes.
Starting point is 00:23:14 With two birthdays? two birthdays. Oh. Oh, my best friends. No, but I do know people with two birthdays. What ethnicity are they? Latinos. What ethnicity are they?
Starting point is 00:23:26 Salvadorian. Apparently it's a salvi thing. Oh, she's not Saudi. Okay, good, good, good, good. Yeah, I think it's like anyone in that. And then, like, it was a meme that I saw on social media and it's like, it's, and I saw and I was like, wait, this really happens. And it's like, when you explain to your friends that you're Salvadorian,
Starting point is 00:23:46 mother has two birthdays. It's true. And no one understands it. No, I don't get it. I don't get it either. No, what it is is that when they come here, they end up changing their birthdays. Why? Usually when they don't have the right documentation.
Starting point is 00:23:59 Yeah. So they end up having their real birthday and they have like their new U.S. American birthday. Wow. That's not good. I mean, it sounds lit to me. It sounds like to me. Why? What are you?
Starting point is 00:24:12 What is my best friend has a wrong date of his mom's birthday. I don't know. Wow. No way. Oh, my God. She can remember her actual birthday and the birthday that she gave herself, like when she came here. You're lying. Why can you give yourself a birthday?
Starting point is 00:24:29 Sometimes they don't remember, like, they don't know. They don't have those documents. A lot of times it's people from, like, poor areas in nine countries. Oh, okay, okay. Yeah. Oh, that's different. They don't have documentation. They don't have documentation.
Starting point is 00:24:44 They don't have documentation. Like, I don't know when I was born. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's different than having two birthday. No, but don't you know by when you celebrated your birthday? No, because my grandma was like that too, and she made it up. But she didn't have two birthdays. What?
Starting point is 00:24:56 But it's, again, because there was no documentation of, like, her birth certificate or anything. Like, my grandma changed her name, but that's because she didn't like her name. My dad's like that. Yeah, and look, she changed her name to a weird name. Really? Yeah. Her name is Petra now. I don't know what it was before.
Starting point is 00:25:12 You could have showed, like, Susie. Yeah, you can't chose like a cool name. Name Petra. What? I don't know. Not like that, you weirdos. That's my grandma. She's 90.
Starting point is 00:25:23 You said it, not us. No, like give me the name Petra, you weirdos. I didn't say anything. Petra's not an A.k.a. for anything. I know. Don't make it weird. You're out of here. Get out.
Starting point is 00:25:34 Get out. That's my grandma. And my dad's listening. And I hope he comes. Yeah, big. I hope. Yeah. Yeah, that's gross.
Starting point is 00:25:41 Pacino. Waka. Uncle, Vic. And that's why you're blocked, Vic. Yeah, that's why he's blocked. There was nothing insinuating about that conversation at all. Yeah, genuine conversations. Yeah, like she chose,
Starting point is 00:25:56 Damme Petra. And then I said it in an old lady voice because she's an old lady. Yeah, and then like, whoa. I didn't say anything. You imagine this. Anyways, Jose, what happened with your parents or you said you went through the same thing? My dad, he only knows. No.
Starting point is 00:26:12 He only knows, like, the week. of his birthday. You don't know your birthday. Remember we asked that for? And he was like straight. Either you don't know. You don't show or you don't care about your birthday. I have to check my ID.
Starting point is 00:26:25 Why? It's your birthday. Yeah, but you get to a certain age where you don't really care about your birthday. I still haven't. Oh. You have to check your ID, dog. It's not your social security number. I know that.
Starting point is 00:26:37 You know your social. All right. Tell us. Tell us. Tell us. All right, all right. All right. All right.
Starting point is 00:26:42 Last four. Just last four. We already know your name is Jose Balitis. So when is your birthday? My October 10. Oh, 10. But I don't know. And then the year?
Starting point is 00:26:55 And then the last four? Because we're like, how old are you? And he's like, I think 31. I'm like, what do you do that all the time too? I forget that I'm. Your age? 27. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:03 See? 27. Young bucks. What a young buck here. I have a tattooed on my own. If your mom has two birthdays, which one do you celebrate? Both? That's crazy.
Starting point is 00:27:13 You do both. That's a lot. And Mother's Day and Christmas. You don't want my dad. His ID says June. Don't give the full birthday, please. No, because of Spanish, Julio and Junio sound very alike. So his ID here says Junio, June.
Starting point is 00:27:28 But then in his birth certificate in Mexico, it's July, Julio. So he has two birthdays. Yeah, I just realized that. All right, everybody go back home and check your parents' birth certificate to make sure that you haven't been celebrating him wrong. Matthew, your parents were. You're going to come here and choose an ex another birthday. That's the one we're celebrating. The American one.
Starting point is 00:27:50 Hey, we're in America. Don't celebrate that one in Mexico. Or El Salvador. I believe. All right. I just want to throw that out there. I saw it and I just thought maybe. Maybe one of us.
Starting point is 00:28:02 All right. Word on Rosecrans. Aesap Rocky might change his name to Aesap Rennie. Okay. Because he's a lot. in great shape, right? He's a runner. He's a track star. So Rocky was going on a jog through West Hollywood and a TMZ reporter spotted him and wanted to ask him a couple questions. But instead, he invited her to join him in his jog as he dodged a bunch of questions, okay? But you have to listen to this audio.
Starting point is 00:28:30 It's hilarious. Hey, Aesap, how you doing? Now that you have two kids, Rihanna says you... You're going to go to the job with me? Can I? Real quick. You're fast. Where are we going? You're all right? No. Don't tell Rihanna about my black nail polish. He's that I'm dying.
Starting point is 00:28:48 Wow. He's chasing her around for a while. She's chasing him. Oh yeah, sorry. You're a trouper. That's really. God bless you. I heard about what happened.
Starting point is 00:28:59 I heard about what happened. Look, I'm like lunch on me, you're right? Oh, when and where? Because I heard you threw it up, so lunch is on me. Hey, you let me know when. She threw up while chasing him. Yeah, she just got free lunch. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:12 Yeah, with ASAP. Probably not on him. Yeah, like he's going to pay for it. But they're in West Hollywood. Yeah, so they're nice places. They're in Weho. They're in Weeho. She ended up throwing up and got no real answers out of him.
Starting point is 00:29:27 She asked him about his album. She asked him about Rihanna, having more kids, all this stuff. She just dodged the interview, all right? We give interviews to, like, a girl that's, like, interviewing you in bed with her baby breastfeeding on her all day, every day. She just is criticizing you. Give this girl. that ran and just was a great spirit because she seemed really like she threw her shoes off yeah abandon her shoes give her that exclusive a sap and riana give her an exclusive together she deserves
Starting point is 00:29:55 she deserves it we don't even deserve it she deserves it or maybe get her like a pedicure oh yeah that too she had bad nails she said she had bad nails oh that's so tight at least like a t-shirt that says i was going to interview i wanted to interview asap rocky but all i got was a throw-up or something i don't No, please don't. Do what I said. Do the exclusive interview. She's a paparazzi? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:18 Wow. She's my favorite paparazzi. Yeah, she's dedicated. But I've also seen paparazzi before and it's a crazy scene. Like what? Yeah, I was driving down Wilshire and I guess there is like a Kardashian and all these cars just pulled into the center lane and ran through traffic to capture her. That's crazy.
Starting point is 00:30:35 It was nuts. I almost ran somebody over. You were the paparazzi? No. I almost ran somebody. over. They ran in front in front of my car. There was a gang of them. That was like, I can
Starting point is 00:30:46 see this happen. How much did you get paid? Yeah, for the photos that you take. I did not. I wish I did. If I could, I wish I did. Or you took a picture of the paparazzi chasing the person. I should have done that. Sounds like a missed opportunity to me, brother. You have a photographer. You have a, you are a photographer. You have a camera in your car. I do not have cameras in my car.
Starting point is 00:31:06 I do not have cameras in my car. I don't even have a car. You have a phone? Yeah. You have a Nissan Cup of noodles. I don't even have a Nissan. No. Only Toyota's around here.
Starting point is 00:31:21 All right, Toyota's only. What are you going to say? You're going to say you great? What's that conversation like? Like, I just ran into Aesab Rocky. He wouldn't let me interview him. Ran into him is a great name for your interview series, Little Lady.
Starting point is 00:31:33 Wow. That's a good one. Oh. Running with celebrities? No, whatever her name is. No, like ran into, like the whole phrase I ran into. Oh. Like I ran into A.S.
Starting point is 00:31:40 Boom title she's running and running and say Sabraki They should do an interview on the treadmill Oh yeah, that'll be good She needs to work on it a little bit though and it's been hot these past couple days Yep, so it was during us so hot day I saw the video and it's like like like this one wasn't running on purpose like he's like he's on a jog no no one jogs at freaking noon Yeah, yeah, I don't answer any of the questions didn't want to answer I do You run at 12? I guess that's so unhealthy for you the sun is like prime like giving you skin cancer.
Starting point is 00:32:11 How do you think I lost 20 pounds, you know? Don't do it like that. Depression? I sweat it all out. Oh, yeah. Yeah, you can sweat it out,
Starting point is 00:32:21 but there's a thing called heat exhaustion. Like, that's like prime. Sunrays. That's like people jogging in the morning. You know, you know, I'm jogging in the morning or in the evening?
Starting point is 00:32:29 Yeah, but... You could lose weight other ways, damn. You know, SPF? You don't got to let it burn. Ah,
Starting point is 00:32:35 no. But despite what usher said. Yeah, all right. Well, thank you, all right. All right,
Starting point is 00:32:40 Look, Northwest wants to be both Kanye and Kim when she grows up, okay? So she's only 10 years old, but she got a whole cover story for a magazine on ID. And she said in the interview she wants to own skims and Yeezy when she grows up. Let's go, La Norte. We have other siblings, North. I know. She heard that song, Kanye, only one. And she's like, no, no, I'm the only one.
Starting point is 00:33:04 It's just me. Yeah. And also she said when she grows up to be 13, she wants to work. walk dogs and make money and buy expensive art supplies. Yeah, I really like that little interview because you could see like her train of thought. Yes. She's like, what do you want to be when you grow up? I want to be a basketball player, a rapper.
Starting point is 00:33:21 I wanted to be a boxer. I don't want to be a boxer anymore. I do want to do art, but art is expensive. So I'm going to start walking dogs. She has a whole plan. She's so ambitious. You are northwest. Either side of your parents can afford it.
Starting point is 00:33:34 Can afford whatever art supplies, baby girl. Yes, already. And I mean, if she walks dogs where she lives, she's, you know, me up. Yeah. Walk one dog and she's set for the rest of her life. I'm convinced. Did she me walk the dog like a yo-yo?
Starting point is 00:33:47 Because it's legit. Oh, yo-yo's. I'm convinced. She's like 100% Kanye, 100% Kim. Because she did like a whole photo shoot like Clueless for Halloween. Oh, yeah. And then she dressed up as the Kanye graduation bear. Yeah, that was really cool.
Starting point is 00:34:01 I was like, dude, she has the coolest resources to be anything for Halloween. I like that she's being expressive and like creative and all of that. that because look even the bear the Kanye bear yeah that's like the legit one yeah that's like the actual one like that's the actual one from storage and the actual pastel jacket yeah oh my god vintage she always pulls clothes from Kanye's old stuff and it's such a vibe it's really cool that she actually wears it and brings it back and she's only 10 like I thought she was a little older no she's only 10 she has a little bit of gap between her and I think the her next brother is saint yeah But she has a gap between them.
Starting point is 00:34:41 So I know she's like, oh, I'm running it up right now. Like, you guys are still babies. Like, after saying they just went on a psalm, shy, all that, latte, all of that. They had all of those kids. So, like, they're in a group together. They probably got to fight for, like, all of the stuff that she can just wear on her own right now. Yeah. Shut out.
Starting point is 00:35:00 No, yeah. She's a beast. She's a beast. It put me my feelings, not going to lie. What? Seeing her, like, in La Connaie. I know. Oh, so.
Starting point is 00:35:08 Yeah, it was beautiful. It was really cool. And I'm sure that I put a smile on Kanye's face. Oh, for sure. She seems really cool because I was reading some of the questions. She was asked. And they asked her like, what's your favorite song right now? She's like, through the wire by Kanye West.
Starting point is 00:35:20 Dang. Who's your style icon? And she's like, who's your style icon? Me. And then she's like, and then she's like, they asked her like, if you could meet any person, who would it be? And she's like, Tupac. That's what I'm saying. She's so cool.
Starting point is 00:35:36 Oh, she's been hanging out with the Adeta. She was hanging out with the Adjeda too much. I'm going to start. I didn't put this in the group chat, but I wanted to. But I know all of you are like anti-Jada, which is annoying to. Yes, you are. Just pro-Wil. You are anti-Jada.
Starting point is 00:35:54 You are anti-Jada. I'm annoyed of her and Will. I'm not anti-Jada. No, you guys are anti-Jada talking about Puck, right? Yeah. Well, don't lie. Okay. I stand on business.
Starting point is 00:36:06 I stand on business. One versus 50. Yeah. Pock's sister has also a book coming out or has K-N-out. And in the book, she's like, as much as Jada talks about Pock, Pock talked about Jada. He had her on his wall. Anybody that came over, the topic of conversation would be like sports and Jada. Politics and Jada. Well, she was huge at that time, so he's probably like, I know Jada since back then.
Starting point is 00:36:26 Like, that was probably like his thing. Yeah, there's the Omega My Heart poem that he wrote about her. Like, you are my, like, you are loving human form. Like, he was poetic. about her. But here we are talking ish about her talking about two fogs. See, see? Feel bad, feel bad. Gilt. Shame. Shame. I have no guilt. I know you don't. I know. That's why I didn't even put it in the chat. You guys didn't be like, sorry, letty, we don't care. Yeah. All right. Well, that was your word. I'm Rose Kranz, brought to you by the California Toyota dealers. I'm Rose Kranzvik for Brown Bag
Starting point is 00:36:57 Mornings. And let's go ahead and hook you up with tickets right now to go to the happiest place on Earth. Okay. We have a family four pack of tickets to go to the Disneyland Resort. Okay, we got One Day One Park, Hopper tickets. No, one day one park tickets for you. Caller 10. Hit us up. 818 52059. That's 818.
Starting point is 00:37:16 52059. What's up? This is Be Real from Cypress Hill. Where are you from, Esse? Don't you know I'm local? All right. This is going out to anybody in proximity to somebody that goes to a CSU or works at a CSU. You guys know what a CSU is?
Starting point is 00:37:32 Yes. Cal State University. There are 23. I heard about it. Three CSU's name five. Cal State University Long Beach, Cal State University, L.A., Cal State University, L.A., Cal State University. Northridge. Fullerton.
Starting point is 00:37:47 Fullerton. That's four. Channel Islands. Cal State University, San Diego. You love Chen Woff. I love that. I love that. I have great memories over there.
Starting point is 00:37:57 Oh, my God. Great memories. You guys name five? Yeah. Give me a couple. San Diego, right? Yeah. CSUS.
Starting point is 00:38:04 C.S. I'm not going to lie. you guys are better than me. I mix up the UCs and the CSU. Santa Barbara. I was supposed to say that too. San Barbara did it too.
Starting point is 00:38:11 What is it? Didn't that UC Santa Barbara? Oh, it's UCC. See? See? See? You're confusing me. You're all so stupid.
Starting point is 00:38:17 I want a community college. I don't know. Yeah. Yeah. I went to some CSU. I dropped my girl off. Ask me about the L.A's. L.A.
Starting point is 00:38:25 Mission. L.A. Pierce. L.A. P. That's where I went. It's my block. All right. The CSU, Cal State faculty are set to
Starting point is 00:38:36 strike you guys they have authorized a strike that will pull as many as 29,000 instructors from educating the more than 400,000 students in the nation's largest public four-year university system which would be the CSUs of the world so C-sun uh see what is it Fullerton Long Beach all of that get ready for that type of um disturbance in your in your education system if that were to happen. I do appreciate that they're striking for stuff that they definitely need. They want better paid, less students in class because of just like the teacher to student ratio, all of that. And to not be overburdened with stuff.
Starting point is 00:39:19 But I do think like, man, if they strike 100 days, like how the Hollywood is striking, that's 100 days of students like, low-keeping in night school because you kind of have to go to your own work after that. Or they can go to community college. Yeah. Run it up. Yeah. Join up. Would you go to community college if you got accepted to like a CSE?
Starting point is 00:39:38 Hey, either that. You waited a few years. I heard it's not that different. Yeah. Shout to Cal State. I mean, the community and like the sports and all that is different. Yeah, 100%. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:50 Yeah. So. But I don't know. It's like, are you going to play for Pierce College? You're going to play for UCLA. Yeah. No, it's not UC. I mean, USU, Long Beach.
Starting point is 00:40:00 Because some of the Cal States don't even have like teams. Is USC its own? Yeah, USC is a private university. Oh, yeah, wow. Yeah. Private. Okay. That must suck, though.
Starting point is 00:40:11 But I'm saying if they remove the teachers, if teachers are on strike, the students still go to school, but now it's going to be self-learned. Like, let's say it's like, it's like night school. No. Yes. No. Just grade yourself. It was like a week. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:40:25 It was good for the plot. It's good for the plan. It's good for the plan. I give myself a B today. Like, is that one? No. You have to finish this chapter by this day or like, you have to finish this chapter by this day or like, you have to finish this whole little book by this day. Oh, like packets and
Starting point is 00:40:37 yes and that's how you pass the homies that went to community college they should just do packets. Yeah in order to graduate I needed to do economics and I had to do it at a continuation and it was like that like they would give you a packet the book and then you'd have to do your own stuff like you follow like a little format that they gave you the song sugar sugar yeah I would have it in my CD man walkman thing and I went to night school yeah there's like a night school and there's like a night school and Glendell and I was like that's what I'd be listening to over and over while I'm like finishing my packet.
Starting point is 00:41:08 Wow. And now that song whenever it plays, it reminds me a night school. Yo, but no lie, you could finish a class in like a week or two if you really focus. Like you would just sit there. It's like summer school. Have you guys been? I loved going to summer school because I could finish a whole semester of math. In like a week.
Starting point is 00:41:24 A couple weeks. Yes. I would go every single year. You guys are not thinking right. They didn't let me go to summer school. No? No. No.
Starting point is 00:41:30 They said it was too smart. I actually knew a girl who. And then what happened? I don't know. I knew a girl who was graduated high school at 16 because instead of going to high school she went to that continuation And they're all the packets
Starting point is 00:41:41 And knocked it out. 16 years old, she graduated. Yeah. Yeah, but you're missing out on all the activities. Did she go to problem? Exactly. So, games.
Starting point is 00:41:50 No. We used to drop my Tia off at night school and I just remember there being a lot of choos when we dropped her out. But I don't know if she actually went to night school. And that's how I learned about it. How to drop Naked into smokers. I know.
Starting point is 00:42:04 That's school of life right there. Yeah, they were just posted up outside. They're like, what's so? That was a different. They weren't Choos. They were security. That was a different. School of Rock.
Starting point is 00:42:12 They were working. Hey. Lucky, I was speaking about Pegg. Pull out your packet. History. Ooh, got it. Oh, yeah. What a bit of my friend would do?
Starting point is 00:42:25 Oh, got me. And I'm just by me. Hey, what's so letty? So letty. I can't talk right now. I just finished my packet. Letty. Letty.
Starting point is 00:42:34 my break, attack to my break. Hey bro, I think that full that won the lottery. What happened? Edwin? Our homie Edwin. Oh my God, he went like Altadina, right? Yeah. I think he moved into like the block after us.
Starting point is 00:42:48 He has like three houses. Okay, we are San Marino adjacent. Okay. I'm not that rich. But so we go trick-treating in San Marino. And one of the houses was playing like cumbias. And I was like, oh my God. That never happens.
Starting point is 00:43:03 and I was like and it had it happened before and I'm like I feel like that full moved in here yeah because it's definitely big like I wouldn't say old money there right so it would have to be someone that's a good area to move into the kids are trigger trigger yeah I hear
Starting point is 00:43:18 yeah yeah yeah there's some deep cuts and I was trying to I was trying to do the deep cut and I'm like no you guys don't know that it literally just goes boy
Starting point is 00:43:30 someone knows that song. I do know that song. It's not a deep cut. It's a deep cut because none of my fools over here know it. Yeah. I hear the song.
Starting point is 00:43:40 Yeah, because the way that I'm saying it is exactly how the song sounds. And I don't know the name of the song. I'll pull it up. I'll pull it up. Oh, no. I don't even know if it's oi. I just know it's like one.
Starting point is 00:43:54 Oh. And it says it again. Yay! Yes! Yeah, see? That was blasting in Semarino. All the kids are confused. In the background, like,
Starting point is 00:44:02 Like you heard trumpets and stuff like that Yeah Can you please find it? I'll pull it up I'll pull it up I'll pull it up yeah And someone else knows exactly All they have to do is
Starting point is 00:44:12 All they needed was that one sound And they got it You know what song it is actually It's the ta ta ta ta ta ta ta ta ta ta ta ta ta ta ta ta Oh yeah, so easy, oh yeah Why did you say? She knows the name of it She got it
Starting point is 00:44:24 It's the name of it. Yeah, how does it go? It's exactly like I can play it on my phone Oh he says soi Yeah Yeah See? That's why I have to be.
Starting point is 00:44:34 Oh, Pore. Let me see what? I'm a gigante of the Yerro. Is it the one? Oh,
Starting point is 00:44:42 the one I go That one. No, no. No. She's doing my own. Let me see if it is. Oh, I got it. No.
Starting point is 00:44:53 Yes, exactly. Pasto of Gigante. It's that one. No. This one. Hold on. I got it. Yes.
Starting point is 00:45:01 Yes, it is. This is it. Sounds like partying next door. Keep playing it. Oh, put the volume. Oh, that's a bang. My volume bro. Hey, listen to the car.
Starting point is 00:45:09 I was hearing that in San Marino. Oh, I know this song. Yeah. Oh, I love that song. No, I need to hear the verse kick in. I got you. Oh, it's a long intro. Five, six, seven, eight.
Starting point is 00:45:30 So, we're both. The end song. Did he say soi? Yeah, it was that one. So I feel like I said it and you guys shouldn't know and thank you for knowing. Yeah, I knew. Oh, no, it's because you have to say, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun.
Starting point is 00:45:49 Oh, I had to say that. Anyway, Edwin, I know you're around. Hala, halla, because I can go over your house. We will understand your references of music. Oh, we can all go. Hey, friends. Hey, friends. If you need a homie or need some help, we need your help.
Starting point is 00:46:08 We need a line. I mean, phone line. We got you for the homie help line. The homegirl Olivia said her homegirls, tripping at work. She sent us a DM and she said, my name is Olivia. All right, brown bag. I have this coworker that we threw, she got right to it. My name is Olivia.
Starting point is 00:46:25 All right, let's get to it. No, this is super short. She's got right to it. She said, all right, Brown bag. I have this coworker that we threw a baby shower for. We threw it for her at work And she had a dirty look And ask why we threw one
Starting point is 00:46:37 And she follows with You know I wouldn't do that for you? Are we wrong for throwing her a surprise baby shower Even though we're not her family Or was she unappreciative of a nice gesture? Help me, Brownback Wow She sounds pissed
Starting point is 00:46:56 She is mean, bro That's interesting Yeah Why is that interesting to you? We have a friend that you can't throw parties for him Wait Oh is the Maximo? No
Starting point is 00:47:08 No, what? Throw a party for me, please Who is it? Who else would it be? Greg? Yes. Oh. Why?
Starting point is 00:47:15 They try to throw him like a work party for his birthday And he like walked away. You're lying. So why are you? Is everything okay at home? Can you explain? What's wrong with you? I don't like birthdays.
Starting point is 00:47:26 I don't know. Why? I don't like birthday. And she hasn't made you like birthdays again? No. No. Birthday. Damn.
Starting point is 00:47:34 Something's wrong if she hasn't made you love birthdays again. Wow. That's wild. Like, for someone to be upset about a nice gesture that's crazy to me.
Starting point is 00:47:44 Who here has been pregnant? Say aye. Aye. You haven't been pregnant? Isn't it a team thing? Yes, a team thing. You pushed it out? How many labor hours are you?
Starting point is 00:47:55 That's, that deserves a round of applause and that one. That was a good one. That was a good one. That was a good one. That was great. That was great.
Starting point is 00:48:05 Wow. Well. Well. Back to Olivia. Talk to your parents about what that means, kids. But when you're pregnant, hormones are crazy. You don't know if you love something.
Starting point is 00:48:19 Things that you love to eat food, you hate now. Things that you would have never ate, all of a sudden you want to eat on laundry detergent. Like, it's weird. No, that's a thing. Or smell. Smell things. Yeah, things like that.
Starting point is 00:48:30 It might have been something odd. Maybe she's going through something with baby daddy, and it's like, why are you guys doing it? He should be doing it, something like that. You're not wrong, Olivia. You're not wrong for doing it. But maybe just try to fight. It's your coworkers being nice, though. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:48:44 But when are co-workers nice for real? That is true, yeah. My co-workers are always nice. Nina throws a baby shower for you. Are you going? It's free stuff. While she has you, while she has you, fill out this form, fill out this form, your miss punch, your late lunch, all of that stuff. And your baby shower, do you want that?
Starting point is 00:49:03 No. But it's not like a... Nina's our HR, by the way, yeah. It's not an official, like, baby shower. It's just like a work. Like, let's make this environment fun. Yeah. Let's get money on the clock while we're doing this.
Starting point is 00:49:16 And let's not ignore that she has a big belly and she's going to have a kid soon. Right. Oh, true. You know, you just got to like, they're acknowledging what she is and then also giving her free stuff. Yeah. What did you feel more bad if they didn't do anything for you? Exactly. You'd be pregnant.
Starting point is 00:49:29 It's like, that would be messed up. That would be like, damn. Dang, they didn't even bring me nothing there. They don't even care that I'm pregnant or I'm about to have a kid. Yeah, that'd be emotional. They just bring the gift to the baby shower you invite them to. But they're not getting invited. See, that's rude.
Starting point is 00:49:43 For sure. Olivia's co-worker is not inviting Olivia. So I'll take your free stuff, but I won't let you in my house. Yeah. Yeah, I'm sure. You don't mix work with home. Yeah. And you doesn't make friends.
Starting point is 00:49:56 That too. That's mixing friend groups. That's dangerous. It's dangerous. Separate them. It's too complicated. Work, is it work, baby showers. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:50:07 Are they good or not? Are you okay with it or not? Should Olivia be even doing this at all in the first place that she wrong for it? The girl, she didn't even say the girl's name? No. Prego over there. Preggers over there. She got upset.
Starting point is 00:50:20 Yeah. That they made a baby shower for her at work. And she even told them. She said, you know, I wouldn't do this for you, right? That's so weird. That great response. Loki bars. Yo, but how the people must have felt like, I know.
Starting point is 00:50:38 They must have felt like, like, give my diapers. Or somebody comes late and they have like a big box or something and then they're like, no, no, no, we're not doing that anymore. Yeah. Her whole family's mating in the mouth. If they brought cake, what do you do with it? Yeah. How would you react if that happened to you and what should Olivia respond?
Starting point is 00:50:58 How should Olivia respond? She wants to know if she's wrong for it. Yeah. Olivia doesn't know what to do. Yeah. She had a co-worker. They threw her a baby shower and she was not, literally was not having it. What did the co-worker say when they surprised her with her work?
Starting point is 00:51:09 She said, you know I wouldn't do this for you, right? Imagine somebody does something nice for you and you just tell them that. You know what I wouldn't do it for you, right? I would just say it in my head. You would just say that in my head. Yeah. You do. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:51:25 You say that loud. She says it with facial expressions. Sci-fi over here. that works with us. He doesn't like birthday parties. They threw him a surprise birthday party and he took everything down. He told us on the break. That's so sad.
Starting point is 00:51:40 And he said it's because it's fake. This whole world. He's like nihilistic. What's crazy is the person that threw that for him, I know to be like his bestie at work. Wow. Like J-Paz? Yeah. That was like his BFF.
Starting point is 00:51:52 Wow. I was going to say, what if they were like beefing or they have a problem with each other? That'd be different. Yeah. They left out of a big. Yeah. I don't know. There's something fish.
Starting point is 00:52:01 she around here on this one. There's. In the air? In the air. Yes. All right. Irene, who we got in the line? We have Mario from Arcadia on line one.
Starting point is 00:52:11 Mario. Mario. Hey, what's up? What's up? Mario. How's it going? How's it going? Mario, what would you tell Olivia?
Starting point is 00:52:19 She threw a baby shower for her coworker. Her coworker got upset about it. You know what? I got kind of like, I got points for like both sides, you know? First of all, you throwing something for someone? and I don't know. I mean, you're not a family member, you know what I'm saying? I don't know if that's like your place to do it.
Starting point is 00:52:38 It could be awkward. Maybe she don't like it. Yeah, and it might be awkward because she don't probably get along with everyone at work, you know? No one gets along with everyone at work. So, like, if you're doing a work one, that means the person that she don't like is at her baby shower. Exactly, exactly. And at the same time, pregnant women to be ungrateful. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:52:56 I got to do with my wife. Did you say pregnant women are ungrateful? Most of them. Oh. No, no. He said, and secondly, pregnant women are ungrateful. Okay. Okay, let me hear about how ungrateful they are while they're carrying their baby for nine months.
Starting point is 00:53:15 No, yeah, all that, that's, you know, that's cool. You know, I feel for you. That's cool. That's cool. That's a finish. Oh, my God. A lot, you know, but like, like, say, look it, my wife, I love her. I love her completely.
Starting point is 00:53:29 You sure? If I wake up, if she wants ice cream at midnight, I get out and get it. It's like she wants, she expects it, you know what I'm saying? Like, I get it. I'll, like, do your craving. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I got you. Yeah, but if I'm okay, like, please be considerate of me being a human and it's still got to work. Yeah, like, I got to wake up at 4 in the morning, but I'll go out and I'll get you that ice cream.
Starting point is 00:53:53 Oh, you're so cute. Okay, so then does she say thank you? Because what's ungrateful about it? that she expects you to do it? No, she, yeah, like, I got to do it, like, because I'm pregnant. I had, you know, you have to do that. So, no, but she's thinking. And you're the dad.
Starting point is 00:54:07 My wife, my wife was a perfect pregnant woman, yeah. Ah, he's backtracking. He's back getting a side eye right now. I love it because, legit, you said, like, a whole firm statement. You, you said pregnant women are ungrateful, but I love my wife. I have a lot of women in my family, and they all ungrateful, but not my wife. I love. You're making.
Starting point is 00:54:29 Thanksgiving, it's going to be hard for you if they find out what you just said about them. I'm staying home. I'm staying home. I seen you last night and let's see you with your husband. Really? Trick or Chittling? I was just about to ask you. Did you go in San Marino?
Starting point is 00:54:44 Yeah, I was there. I seen you, but I didn't want to say nothing because if you were feeling how I was, irritated about these kids, it was so packed. I was like, nah, I'm going to leave a little bit. It's kind of creepy. I was going to say that. Why were you there? Nah.
Starting point is 00:54:58 My kids. What were they dressed as? They're dressed as Super Mario and Luigi and Princess Peach and Bowser. Was that your kids? Yeah, I see, I see me like, um... Did I talk to your kids? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:55:14 Maybe I'm not sure. Because my boys were Mario and Luigi, and I was in line with them, and behind them, the whole crew showed up. And I was a bigger bout. It was a bigger Luigi. Yeah, yeah, yeah. My son was the big one, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:55:28 Wow. Wow. You should have said what's up, bro? Yeah, I wasn't going to say what's up, but at first when I see, I noticed your husband, and I was like, dang, he's tall. Like, and then he was like, oh, he doesn't think he could beat me or not. So because he looks like he could beat you up. You didn't say what's up to me?
Starting point is 00:55:47 Yeah, not like that. I was like, you with your family. I didn't want to, you know. Oh, I'm not going to worry about it. No, that would have been tight. I'll probably catch me at the mall or something. Damn, you're going to catch me at the mall, bro. You stop me.
Starting point is 00:55:58 The cream! You have a wife! She was pregnant! Damn, he had a whole Mario crew. Yeah, I was going to ask him. Because as soon as you said, he's Arcadia, I'm like, he was in San Marino. Everybody was, that's the place to go. And Arcadia is nice.
Starting point is 00:56:13 Yeah. Yeah. You go to San Marino. That's cool. Thank you for burning a spy and telling everybody who I do probably. You got to find new spot next year. Arcadia. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:56:22 San Marino. Oh, my bad. She's saying the opposite. So they go over there instead of. Go to Altadina. You're a good friend. Samarina. Irene, who has to go, baby girl?
Starting point is 00:56:31 We have Amber from Linowen on line three. Amber. Hello? What's up, Amber? How are you? Good morning, Brown Bay. Good morning, Amber. So I feel like how the other guy said.
Starting point is 00:56:47 Like, we don't know if what if the prego don't even like Olivia. And Olivia's doing it out of, like, bite or, like, out of, like, what if she, like mentioned like something like oh i hope nobody does nothing and she did it anyway like nobody knows there's always two sides of a story so i felt like maybe like olivia was doing it like at a fight and you know like and a that you know that's what it is and she just didn't like it so obviously by her saying i wouldn't do it for you yeah it says it all right there It means like, girl, I don't even like you. Why are we fronting right now?
Starting point is 00:57:29 Like, why are you doing this? Why are you trying to look cool in front of... But why would Olivia do that out of spite? You know, like, what if she... Just like how you guys said, oh, boy, don't like surprises. I mean, a lot of people don't like surprises. That's crazy. Maybe she mentioned it to somebody she does talk to, and Olivia overheard it and was like, oh, well, let me do this.
Starting point is 00:57:54 since they don't met you know like olivia didn't tell her side of like you know hey like we don't talk like ain't nobody gonna admit that yeah because i know when i was pregnant i they threw a baby shower for me and i was cool with it you know because it's extra stuff that my baby needs it ain't even about me it's about my baby like you're bringing the whole eyes baby in in the world oh shout out about that you're right there why she's like i'm happy so like i feel I feel like we just, I don't know, I feel like there's two sides of a story. Maybe, you know, she ain't saying everything and she just wants to feel bad for herself. Yeah, because loki, she wants like the pity.
Starting point is 00:58:37 Like, all of us are going to be like, Dan, you did a good thing. F that pregnant girl. And she's like, because otherwise we weren't going to say F that pregnant girl, but she probably don't like that pregnant girl. And now we all don't like that pregnant girl. And now she's right for whatever reason she don't like the pregnant girl. She might have had some inside information knowing that she wouldn't like the baby shower. So she did it anyway to vilify the pregnant girl and get sympathy points.
Starting point is 00:58:59 That's how I feel. I feel like, you know, because if she's steady from the get, like, I wouldn't do it for you. So come on, there has to be some type of tension. Maybe there's competition between them too. Maybe the prego girl, you know, she's a harder worker, better worker. Who knows? Nobody knows because we ain't working with them. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:59:21 So I feel like maybe she just did it out of, you know, know some type of spite or you know because I mean who does I mean yeah you know he doesn't like surprise parties but I mean it's it's not about you know when you're pregnant it's not about you it's about the baby you're bringing in the world the way you can read the situation you're G I know no one can like fool you huh no they can say one thing and you're like now they say this because that and boom and boom and they're not saying this because that and yeah like I have you know I have my facts and everything like In a row.
Starting point is 00:59:56 In a row, come on. In a row, come on. Shats to you. I was pregnant when I was working and they threw a baby shower and I appreciate it. I mean, I didn't mess with some of the people. Yeah. Hey, you know what? Like, so what?
Starting point is 01:00:11 Like, hey. I'll take the diapers. Like, yeah, let me get some diapers. Let me get the baby wives. Come on. Let me get that. I don't like your hair. Let me get that.
Starting point is 01:00:19 A, ah. I did a machine on you. Let me get that. Target gift card. Yeah. Yeah. The Target gift card. Target gift card.
Starting point is 01:00:25 I don't even give it to the baby. That's real. Fact. Wow. Sounds like a whole novella. I didn't know. I didn't know that it was like. Just by that one phrase that Pregos told Olivia,
Starting point is 01:00:38 Olivia didn't tell us Pregos name for a reason. Yeah. Because then that will humanize Pregal. Right now she's just prego. She could be the sauce. Yeah. Yeah. Sheesh.
Starting point is 01:00:50 Dang, there's like petty wars going on. Yeah. And you don't know. how people are going to react to surprises. Yeah. Some people react to surprises, like, they're a little bit embarrassed. Some run away from it. Some are super happy.
Starting point is 01:01:01 We can't expect everybody to be just, like, jolly, you know? Yeah. Irene, how would you, like, a surprise baby, showering? I would be surprised by the baby. But, like, if you were and we threw it. If you guys threw it, like, I wouldn't even do that for you. No, if you guys threw it, like, I wouldn't actually make me happy. What if the station threw it?
Starting point is 01:01:21 What if Tommy threw it? Yeah. uh... dude what that's so crazy it's just like it's it's like more meaningful when it's like when it's people you care about so like anybody i work anybody could buy me anything just so everybody knows oh but that's that's that's that's the thing you can't do that that you can't let people do that to you because people will have bad intentions yeah people have bad intentions of if i threw this room now they feel like one now you feel like we're
Starting point is 01:01:50 friends now i could probably get stuff out of you now you owe me some thing. People have bad intentions all the time. Don't pay me back with no favors. I don't need them. Yeah. And that's the thing. You never know what anybody's intentions.
Starting point is 01:02:00 I think that's a girl thing. I would assume that like, you know, we're not keeping score. But with other people, like, I never want anybody to hold anything over my head. So it's just like, you'll accept it. You know what, Lettie? I want something back for those trail mixes that you, uh, I just bought you. You know? I knew it.
Starting point is 01:02:16 Exactly. Every word you get to say on air in the morning is pay back for the, that's, go get me a box. You just said a sentence. To everybody but Maximo who forgot that today is his anniversary. I didn't forget. It was a surprise. I had a whole surprise.
Starting point is 01:02:32 You're such a liar. That's what guys say when they forgets. I don't forget. Yeah, you did. Wow, wow, wow. All right, what happened? With what? Your anniversary, come on, talk about it.
Starting point is 01:02:42 Oh. You're doing a surprise. You do. You want to. That's you explaining yourself. Yeah. Can you do it one more time? You do.
Starting point is 01:02:50 You do. You want to. Exactly. No, I just want to say a happy anniversary to my girl, my partner, my soulmate, my wife, my fiance, my everything. She has a ring on her finger? A spiritual ring. Oh, my. What's her name?
Starting point is 01:03:12 Don't worry about it. You should say her name. Danielle, everyone knows that. No, everyone does. Well, everyone in here knows that. I love you. And we're about to celebrate tonight. Oh.
Starting point is 01:03:24 We're about to go eat. We're about to turn up. We don't have a good time. Let's go. You know what I'm saying? The homie's going to do it up. Love is in the air. It's our anniversary.
Starting point is 01:03:38 It's our anniversary. Come on. See this. You guys. I have no song. I was going to have a song. Just because you guys haven't been there. You sing the song.
Starting point is 01:03:49 I was singing it with you. I need a backup. Oh, it didn't sound. I don't like your team. I was going to ask again, how many years together? 13 years. 13 years. A lot of time.
Starting point is 01:04:01 I'm a whole teenager. Maximo, I'm curious because, you know, my relationships usually don't last long at all. Yeah. How do you make a day like this special? You know, like what, you know, because you guys live every day together, right? So it's like, how do you like, okay, this is a special occasion. What do you do to make it special? You hit up chef, Adrian.
Starting point is 01:04:20 I catch. And you say, can you get me? table. Okay. Yes. Well, we're doing that. We're going out to eat. We don't like get to go out to eat dinner like alone often.
Starting point is 01:04:30 Exactly. So it's just really giving us time for ourselves to just like hang out, talk and just the regular. Do you wear like a special hat or something like this is my anniversary hat? Or do you have like a, do you dress up nicer or do you tell her put on them heels, girl or like what do you do? And that's why you don't ask. That is crazy. I'm just asking. What?
Starting point is 01:04:51 That's crazy. I'm just. Wild. Go put on the heels. Go put on the heels. Go put on the ear. I'm going to wear my special hat. We're going to adderousy it up.
Starting point is 01:04:59 What? What? What? How does it make sense? Like this one. Don't wear those hats. I do not. Because she has the implant on her arm.
Starting point is 01:05:05 Yes. It's a great technique ladies out there. I highly recommend it. You guys are doing what I'm doing. What? Usually when you guys bring up serious subjects and I'm like, I'm being dead-ass serious and now you guys are making jokes. You're seriously asking.
Starting point is 01:05:20 Yes. If he wears a special hat. hat or head tells her to put on a heel. Yes. Like, how do you make it special? Okay, how do you make it special?
Starting point is 01:05:28 I mean, no, he told me, but that was just my question. Honestly, the alone time, I think, is special in itself. When you're together this long,
Starting point is 01:05:35 these little moments mean a lot, especially with kids. Like, it's, our life is based around, like, their soccer, their entertainment, work, you know,
Starting point is 01:05:44 and like these moments really are the special moments. Word. Yeah, that's dope. Word? Really? I'm being, why can I be serious for what I'm reading? I don't know.
Starting point is 01:05:52 You guys think there's a costume. Put on the wheel, girl. Go to Greg. What? I know what you made. You're like, oh, do you dress up? Just kind of like, yeah, like what, you know. But the way you asked was just weird.
Starting point is 01:06:03 It was a hell of weird. Why is it weird? I'm genuinely curious. Yeah, do you dress up? I get it for the okay. It's because Vic has made an anniversary hat already. You know, see the thing is Vic is a hat connoisseur, right? Yes.
Starting point is 01:06:16 If you know anything about hats, you know sometimes on the badge, on the side, it says something anniversary 100th anniversary or whatever right yeah oh what did you do with yes that's why we're not talking about my hat his birthday his girlfriend of the moment she his girlfriend du jour she gave him that means an embroidered hat she gave him a hat with her initials on it yeah what happened to i i still have it oh but do you wear it i hold it close to my heart because her name is it starts with a g so she's gonna he's gonna date another girl with the genie oh and you're gonna say you constantly made it for her.
Starting point is 01:06:50 Oh, gross. Anyway, he probably has an anniversary like if I was on an anniversary would probably be like a deep red L.A. and then on the side it's like Indiana Jones machine is like smoke a lot.
Starting point is 01:07:02 On anniversary everyone wears special hats big. Okay, all right. That's awesome. I'll get ready. I'll get ready. This is Be Real from Cypress Hill. Where are you from,
Starting point is 01:07:15 Esse? Don't you know I'm local? It's L.A. versus L.A. tonight, everybody. L.A. Clippers are taking on the L.A. L.A. Lakers. That's right. And man, oh, man, is it going to be a game tonight, okay?
Starting point is 01:07:29 Because L.A. Clippers just acquired James Hardin. And according to Maximo, that is the most L.A. team ever. James Hardin, Russell Westbrook, Kauai Leonard. That was sci-fi. Coi Leonard, Paul George, all residents of L.A. In the surrounding area. To begin with. The real home team.
Starting point is 01:07:46 grew up here. grew up here. Yeah. Know our lives. style. Oh my God. Know the back streets. Okay.
Starting point is 01:07:53 No the restaurants. Know how to order at Thames. No how to order at Thames. No what Thames is. No what Palmdale smells like. Hopefully know how to stay out of certain clubs. Yeah. So they can play good.
Starting point is 01:08:02 James Hardin, he's talking to you. Yes. James. I heard that's where they're going to hold their practice. Yeah. Talking about practice? Crazy girls. Some of them are buried, okay?
Starting point is 01:08:13 Okay, wait. They're taking on the Lakers. Yeah. And LeBron James. The champ. The aim plan. The team. The team.
Starting point is 01:08:19 The implants. 17 times. 17 time champions. Yeah. But not all here. So don't celebrate them. Yeah. How many do you guys have here?
Starting point is 01:08:27 Me? No, but we're the real L.A. This is a big rivalry in the studio. Yeah. Yeah. This is a big rivalry when it comes to the basketball games in Los Angeles. It's the city parks that we donate to.
Starting point is 01:08:38 Uh-huh. I don't know. You were listening off those players and that sounds pretty stacked. Yeah. And then let you just, LeBron James. That's it. Yeah. Well, I was going to go more, but then they started to find you.
Starting point is 01:08:45 Yeah. They also don't want to say the snitch's name. Oh. De Anja. His name is DeAngelo Russell. That was a long time ago, and he was a rookie. Okay? He didn't know better.
Starting point is 01:08:53 That what happened? He accidentally snitch on Swaggy. On Swaggy. From the valley. I'm not mad about it. Accidentally. It got Nick Young out of here. Oh.
Starting point is 01:09:01 He's a local from the valley. He went to Cleveland. Okay. Come on. Respect. Jeez. Okay. He violated Brokood.
Starting point is 01:09:11 Yes, he did. On accident, he was young. He didn't know any better. He had Snapchat. You know how to use the buttons. Some would argue. Wow. Some would argue one of the greatest Lakers.
Starting point is 01:09:18 ever to exist also violated brocote. Think about that. I'll let you think. Oh, yeah. Yeah, that did happen. Yeah. But he was not from L.A., right? No.
Starting point is 01:09:28 Technically, yeah. Who was not from L.A.? Shack or Kobe? Both. Yeah. That doesn't matter. L.A. L.A. L.A. Los Angeles Lakers. Okay.
Starting point is 01:09:38 So I get it. Like, that's the, that's what he's going to stand on. He's going to stand on their premier. That's because we stand on business. And Lakers are going to stand on the championships, like the actual rings that they're like yeah you know what it feels like you know what like shout out to garfield because you know i just feel like i didn't even got to say too much you know what i'm saying like like garfield high garfield high yeah you know when they came in they're just they they came in
Starting point is 01:10:00 and they were just like you know we know we're gonna win we gotta say too much it's a movie today it's a movie okay what's a score movie they're taking it to the court tonight l la la clippers i'm gonna tell you this right now vic and me and you just got to huddle up and do a rosario maybe beyond you, your mom can help us. Yeah, something's going on. The Clippers have won. They win a lot because... The last, like, 10 years?
Starting point is 01:10:25 Yeah, against the Lakers. Against the Lakers. Yeah, I was looking at the last, and it's like, Clippers won, Clippers won. No, they do win a lot in the regular season against the Lakers. I will give them that because they actually treat it like the NBA finals. Like, they've never been there, but they would imagine what it would be like. So they give their heart and soul to the Lakers matchup, right? And then the Lakers are like, it's just another, it's a, it's a, it's a, it's a, it's
Starting point is 01:10:47 another Wednesday. It's a Wednesday game. Yeah. So it's like it's not a big deal because they win when it counts. You know what I'm saying? They go to Western Conference finals. This could be James Hardin's like debut game. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:10:58 That's exciting. He pulled up yesterday. Yep. Pulled up. Standing real quick. He's very in shape. You saw him? So our question is what should the bet be?
Starting point is 01:11:08 Ooh. Because these fools need to bet. Shave out their beard. No shame. No, that's not even fair. That's not even fair. It's okay. But you have to shave it.
Starting point is 01:11:17 Mine will take like seven years to go back. Maximo has to shave off one eyebrow. No. If the Clippers lose, they've won the past 10 years. Just one. Come on, come on, stand on business.
Starting point is 01:11:29 You guys all shave one eyebrow? No, yeah. Come on. Stand on business, y'all. I can't. I'll stand on business. Zero versus 17.
Starting point is 01:11:37 Pierce one ear. Pierce one ear. For Paul Pierce, the Celtic? No, thank you. Running. We can pier the ear. Clippers. Oh, no, I got it.
Starting point is 01:11:45 I got it. It has to be clipper related. Clipper-related. Or jump in the lake. Or jump in the lake. So, all right, if I win, then I get a shout-out to the barber that I was coming. Edward Clipperhands. I get to choose your haircut.
Starting point is 01:12:00 I like it. No, that's not fair. He has no hair. He can go on here. Yours can be, I have to jump in a lake. No, let's both jump in the lake. Oh, no. You can choose.
Starting point is 01:12:10 Get your own leg, bro. This is the Lakers, all right? Just not Lake Elizabeth because that's where I found my imaginary friend that it turned out to be a ghost. Yeah. How about that? How you like that? Let's just make it a clipper. Let's make it clipper related.
Starting point is 01:12:21 Whoever loses, the other one gets to choose your next haircut. Yeah. What do I say I choose to shave your beard? That's it. No. No. No. Haircut.
Starting point is 01:12:29 Staying balls. Staying on business. Haircut. No. No. No. No. No.
Starting point is 01:12:33 Shave involved. Shave. No. Shave involved, fool. Yeah. No. Yeah. He has like the runchas in his head.
Starting point is 01:12:39 It'll show more. That? Or. Wow. Wow. Shave your beer. Shave your beer. Shave.
Starting point is 01:12:45 Shave those. I can't shave my beard. Why? It's in my contract. I thought you said on business. I didn't have a contract. That's not all business. No, no, no.
Starting point is 01:12:55 Yeah, choose. Hercuts. Choose hercuts. Choose hercuts. That's so good. It's so good. I'll pierce the ear better. Pierce both ears.
Starting point is 01:13:01 Running. I'll pierce my nose. Septim. Nose. What's up? You want to pierce your nose? I feel like you just want to do that. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:13:10 Here's your eye, Ralph. See my boy trembling in his boots? I'm not trembling. Okay. Vic, you're making us look bad. Listen to me. Listen to me close. closely. All right, bro.
Starting point is 01:13:17 Lake show, okay? Yeah. Our time. Show time. All that, right? Okay, listen. His hair means a lot to him. The hair on top of his head means a lot to it.
Starting point is 01:13:25 Like your beard. Like your beard means a lot to you. It makes sense, Vic. It does. It doesn't. High risk, high reward, dog. Come on, we're the champs. Come on.
Starting point is 01:13:32 Purple gold. This is a trap. King James. Woo! Vic, it has to be that because I know what you're going to do to his hair. So that's messed up. My hair, you know what? My beard grows back pretty fast.
Starting point is 01:13:45 It does. You know what? The peer pressure is real. Big, it's good for the plot. It's real. Let's do it. Let's go! Big there!
Starting point is 01:13:56 Big there! Big there! And they shook on it. They shook on it. Because last time I think they bade out something, but they're like, oh, we didn't shake on it. No, he didn't. They shook on it. I witnessed that.
Starting point is 01:14:07 You guys still owe me $20. Remember Raiders? You remember Raiders versus Green Bay? You guys owe me $20? This is what I'm going to tell you. I didn't get your $20? James? King James.
Starting point is 01:14:15 Listen to me, Maximo. He's going to, he knows all these tools are coming on. They're essentially stacking an L.A. team to go against the L.A. team, right? He knows that. He's not going to let them win tonight. Perfect. And so you have to cut your hair too. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:14:27 Perfect. Let's get it. Live on air. And we're going to broadcast live from Maximo's haircut. Now you're going to lose one. Yeah, you're digging yourself. Because you say that we lose. Why do we do it?
Starting point is 01:14:41 Let's do so messala because then we got the medium that's coming in here. AJ Barera, the medium. He's coming in here. Maybe he can help us know who's going to win tonight. Yeah, Homer. Angie. Hey, hey, what are you doing over there? Sambra Sala with Angie.
Starting point is 01:15:00 Okay, question. Do you guys believe in Spirits visiting you? We're still doing Spirit. Oh, my God. Yes, because it goes hand with him with him with what's going to happen. Hand with hand. Yeah. Hand in hand. That's what I meant.
Starting point is 01:15:16 Because Neil Long, she has. this crazy story where she feels like her grandpa, uh, where he visited her, that night he passed away to say goodbye to her. Oh, I know it's sad, you guys.
Starting point is 01:15:27 It's sad and it's scary because it's like some paranormal things happen there that same night. So she was sharing that her grandpa got really sick. So he ended up at the hospital, but he wasn't really doing well, right? And so she went to visit him and just something in her just told her, like this is the last time you're going to see him. Like this is just a gut feeling.
Starting point is 01:15:46 No way. So she goes. she visits him, she says through goodbyes to him, she goes back home. And then as she was going to bed, all of a sudden, the air quality she says just changes in her room to a point where she says that she could just like smell her grandpa. Like she could smell the hair of his grandpa, like his after shape. It was just weird. And then she's in bed, right? And then she says she looked up and she saw something. The next thing I knew, I looked up into the corner of the ceiling and there was this black shape in the corner of the ceiling that looked like several clouds lumped together.
Starting point is 01:16:25 It was definitely three-dimensional. She saw something and it's dark. So all she's seeing is like this weird cloud. Yeah, just out of nowhere, right? And then she says that she got a portal maybe. Maybe something like that. It's just like a weird cloud. That's what she was describing it as.
Starting point is 01:16:42 And then she says that as soon as she sees that, then the air starts to cool down and the air quality changes. Right. And then the curtain started to flatter. And so she gets scared. Flutter. Oh, sorry. So she gets,
Starting point is 01:16:56 to give her compliment. Yeah. Yeah. And so that happens, right? She gets really scared. And so she's in the room with her fiance at the time. And at this point, she wakes him up and they're both seeing the same thing.
Starting point is 01:17:12 And again, it's dark. And then bam, the lights go on. and she just like they go on full blast and again they're both just in shock they're not saying anything and then again bam the lights turn off and so that's when nia realizes like it's her grandpa and then all of a sudden they go off and at that moment because this is the night that he passed away i felt like that was his farewell to me like he was communicating with her through lightning
Starting point is 01:17:43 because apparently like he worked a lot with electricity oh so at the i At some point she was scared, but then later on, she's like, no, you know what? Like, it's all a coincidence that he passed away this night. This is happening to me this night. Like, it's all making sense. So at first she was scared, but then she's just like, oh, I feel a lot. Yeah, she just felt a lot better. But I was just thinking, I'm like, damn, like, I do believe in, like, spirits visiting you, like, before they pass away to say goodbye.
Starting point is 01:18:11 Because I swear like. So while they're still humans? Yeah. But she said that was an idea. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I know it was. But to me, I feel. like they do that like before too like maybe I don't know maybe it's just because I know my
Starting point is 01:18:22 mom's told me stories of like before my grandma passed away she remember seeing like a lady in the restroom just brushing her hair and then two weeks later that was like my grandma would do that a lot oh it was like her little so it was just like she was just like I don't know walking visualizing yeah but it just reminded me of that as something like that I'm like okay then like this is real and then now that the other Los Merto is happening too And then the medium is coming. I was just like, oh my God, Nia. Nia.
Starting point is 01:18:50 You're not alone to it. Yeah, Nia saw her grandpa like that. Wow. What do you think she said when she saw it? She was like, damn. No. I'm telling you, she was just in shock. She didn't say anything.
Starting point is 01:19:01 My, my o'allita always told, like, so first of all, we were always on, on, hey, they're about to die mode because every time you visit your grandpa or your grandma, me will be a mori, I'm going to die. Oh, yeah. My grandpa always told me when me, my mom, my mom, I'm like, bro, don't tell me that you you're going to be traumatized you. You're going to traumatize me. He didn't die until like five years later.
Starting point is 01:19:20 I'm like, but every time I would see him, my grandma too. My oldita, like, she's like, come to tukal, because this might be the last one that I make you. Oh my God. Yeah, drink your, drink, eat your soup because this might be the last one I make you. I'm going to die. And I'm like, bro, I'm so like on the edge of this food are you to die. They ended up passing no RIP. Yeah, but my, yeah, but my Aweilita before she passed or be like just in, also she tells us how
Starting point is 01:19:44 she's going to haunt us. She had everything pre-planned. Oh, my God. She's like, I'm gonna pull your toes. Deo halar your toes. Oh, she would take toes, actually. Yeah. And so I believe that after she passed,
Starting point is 01:19:59 my mom felt like her toes get pulled and she knew it was my grandma. Oh, that was like that's, I'm going to haunt you. Yeah, that's her way. Which is smart? The other one is you got to look, like, oh, my God, is it? That's a good haunting. Is it something bad or is it something bad?
Starting point is 01:20:10 Yeah, but she would be me. Like, when I die, I'm going to pull your toes. Is this just me? No, because I say it to my sisters, I'm like, if I die, I'm going to come back and haunt you and I'm going to pull your feet but toes, that's different. Yeah, she's my, yeah, my niece. You are evil.
Starting point is 01:20:25 Why? Just you give him a little, you know. But seeing that, like, that helped my mom. That, like, oh, she's here. Makes you feel better. Yeah, because you know that, again, like Lettie said, it's something that they would have done and they told you. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:20:37 I never thought about how I'm a haunt anybody, but I think I would want to haunt people by, like, if you look up to the sky, you're going to see me like Easy E in the Crossroads video for Bone Thugs. You have to see me. me like, I'm going to be right there. It's not the clouds. That's not haunting.
Starting point is 01:20:50 Yeah, that's not haunting. I don't think so. That's more like deep wanting. If you look up to the clouds and you see like a silhouette of me, I'll be like, what's that big? No, it's clouds. No, what? Mine's going to be inconvenient. That's going to be, your tire is going to be flat every week and it's going to be me.
Starting point is 01:21:03 That's a ghost. But why a tire? Oh, it's going to be like that. Just remember that as me. So anything bad luck? Yep, anything like that. Y'all crazy. Forget your keys?
Starting point is 01:21:11 Yep, exactly. Lock your key. I'm not going to be tired. I ain't doing anything. I'm going to leave you all alone. No, you're not. You have kids and a girl. Yeah, you're going to want to be present.
Starting point is 01:21:20 No. If you come back, you didn't follow the light. That's not true. No. You haven't been there? Neither have you. You don't know that. You have you.
Starting point is 01:21:30 Have you gone to go back? I have a friend Jamie and she, her dad passed away. And her dad and her, I think they used to do like if you find a coin on the street, like to get up or whatever. So like anytime she finds a dime. she knows that that's her dad. But it's like it comes in those little things. It's something that you know is kind of specific to you and that person. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:21:51 And it's just reminders of that. Even if it's just reminding you that they existed in your love, that it serves as that, you know? I think my mom says that about her dad that every time she sees a feather. That it reminds her. Yeah. And it could be that simple. But as long as it's that connection with you two. My abuelita, it's a hummingbird.
Starting point is 01:22:08 Oh, you're right. You said that before me. Yeah. I'll go to the cemetery and I'll always see hummingbirds. Wow. Wow. You know what? I've seen it with you.
Starting point is 01:22:17 When I went to the cemetery with you, there was a hummingbird. And I'm like, why of all places here? And that's specific to me because I know there's birds everywhere, and it could be a coincidence that there's a hummingbird at the cemetery. But it's random that they'll show up to like where my grandma is. She's cremated. So it's like a mausoleum little thing or whatever. And so on the top there is, there's like a hole at the top.
Starting point is 01:22:38 And so they'll always pass by the hole that's at the top. And that's very specific. It's not like I'm walking and I see a humming. And she always had like hummingbird feeders and stuff like that around the house. So it's like very specific to her. And it's not scary because you know it's them like I said. Well, it's kind of scary to me because I'm like, what do you know? What have you been seeing?
Starting point is 01:22:59 Don't judge me. I don't know why. Instantly, never mind. What? No. Instantly I think of like a hustle. I'm like, if you own like a cemetery, you Google all the things that are signs and then you put them around the cemetery. Because you're scamsimo.
Starting point is 01:23:13 It's just. Boom. It's just. Come back. Yeah. Business. Thank you for that. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:23:17 You're annoying. All right. That's it for Sombrasala brought to you by your local Southern California, Toyota dealers. I'm Angie from Brownback Mornings. I'm proud of one of six. You're such a ghost. All right. We got our guy, AJ Barreira in here.
Starting point is 01:23:30 Do I roll my hours, AJ? You don't have to. Barreira. I don't. Yeah. It's Barrera. It's chores. It's like a Glacin Barreras.
Starting point is 01:23:39 I just thought about it. Yeah. Barreira is battery? No, Barreiras is just like how you learning English. Barriers. Barriers. Yeah. Wall.
Starting point is 01:23:46 What? Yeah. Oh my gosh. My mind is blown. My name is AJ Barreira. Barriers. None. You have none.
Starting point is 01:23:52 Because you and the other realm are like, yeah. You break it through the other side. Oh. You could be a rapper, A.J. All right. I love it. We brought you in. You know, the A de Los Muerthos is upon us.
Starting point is 01:24:05 I know today would be a day of remembrance for the souls of children that have passed away. Yesterday, I believe, was for pets. My mom even told me the day before yesterday, like, put up a candle for the people that have forgotten that no one remembers and you can have them up. And then I forgot to do that day. Just by even speaking about them, honestly, is your way honoring them? Seriously. Oh, my.
Starting point is 01:24:26 And so tomorrow is a day that you're going to see a lot of Latino households and families. Go and remember have altars at their house or friends for the people that they love that have passed away. A lot of us have lost a lot of people, you know, not even just COVID, but just in life in general. It's the human, it's a human journey. And that's why your work is so important, AJ. Thank you. You're able to go between the connection of people that have passed and people that are still alive. How did you know that that was a thing for you? Like that, you had that type of ability. Yeah, you know, I think a lot of people, you know, think that I had this near-death experience
Starting point is 01:25:02 or I saw a spirit at the end of my bed and all that, you know, spooky stuff. It wasn't any of that. It was actually more so curiosity than anything else. I grew up watching, like, certain television shows, So like Sally, Jesse Rafael, Jenny Jones, Ricky Lake. Oh, Ricky Lake. Yeah. And they used to have like these psychics and mediums on the shows. And I'm like, oh, what a crock of BS. There's no way there's people out there.
Starting point is 01:25:21 They have cute cards. They tell them what to say and all that stuff. But I was all fascinated with the X-Files and the unknown. All of that. Yeah. So it was always the fascination that was there. So for me, I kind of went on my own journey of trying to understand the work.
Starting point is 01:25:33 And, you know, I did not know I was like psychic. You know, there's a psychic and there's a medium. They're both different, you know, abilities and what you do. So I would know things at a younger, at a young age and you know this is all before caller ID so I would know like who would be calling before the phone would ring yeah so I was kind of like the caller ID before that even happened don't answer it's a book collector that would really come in handy oh we don't talk to him so it's been a blessing to do this work and to be a you know a teacher and educator with this work
Starting point is 01:26:05 because I love what I do and I don't consider what I do work at all whatsoever and the weird part about is that I was just, you know, fascinated with intuition. And we all have intuition. We all have this ability. And I don't think we recognize it as like a psychic ability, which I don't see it as a psychic ability. It's an ability that we can just develop kind of just like singing, make stronger muscles, all of that. 100%. You know, I was talking to a friend of mine that if he's like, you know, it's the spirit stuff.
Starting point is 01:26:30 I don't know. I'm just like. And I'm like, we're all spirit stuff. Right. It's in us, within us, all of that. If you think of manifestation, that has to do with a lot of brain power. You think of anything, karma, anything, all of that is enveloped in this type of stuff. Being Latino, which I'm assuming you are.
Starting point is 01:26:47 Yeah. Okay. No, Filipino. Hey, I'm kidding. I'm kidding. My best friend's name is Jen De Leon. I thought she was Latina forever. So like last year, I'm going to the Philippines.
Starting point is 01:26:59 But I say that to say, it's so embedded in our culture, but also renounced in our culture. Because we have like that in between of like Christianity, catechism, but also spirituality. How do you deal with that part of it? Oh my God. I mean, till this day, I mean, I still get crap from people. You know, just say like, oh, you're doing the devil's work. You know, growing up. He's a witch.
Starting point is 01:27:18 Right. Exactly. It's kind of one of those things that I've learned how to have a healthy balance with this work and understanding it because, like, you know, growing up in the, you know, Catholicism and being involved with catechism and, you know, the whole nine yards and doing youth ministries and all that stuff. And something which I still believe in God. You know, I always wear a cross.
Starting point is 01:27:35 It's something that I still pray to and meditate. I just believe that a prayer. is a power of energy. It's how we put it out there. It's how you want to manifest because everything is about law of attraction. So what you ever put out there is what you're getting back. So whatever you're vibrating is what you're attracting and whatever you're tracking is coming back to you. So it's a law of like that attraction, but the unity of it, like the infinity symbol.
Starting point is 01:27:56 So when I see that, it's part of life. So for me, like religion is part of my meditation, part of my spirituality. And so that's what I think too because I'm right there with you. And I, what trips me out, I'm like, how else do you think? that all the apostles got God's messages. Right. They were speaking to the other side fools. Like, how do you think that they, like all of that,
Starting point is 01:28:18 those messages that people just knew and that in the Bible. It's like that comes from having that connection. And if anything, by denouncing it or by not tapping into it, you're also denying your like ability to kind of just be more attached to that type of a spiritual, you know, like God and everything and what is presented in the Bible. 100%. You got to think like, you know, just the, use in general. Like people will call it, like Christianity
Starting point is 01:28:41 or they would call it like, oh, we're giving you a word rather than talking from a loved one or so on and so, you know, so it's all there. Interpretation. Semantics. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's how we do that. And but also fear of the unknown it scares the crap out of people because one, they don't know who we're going to talk to and what we're going to bring through as a psychic medium. But also there's the
Starting point is 01:29:01 anticipation where like, I really hope I can talk to this person, but we don't know who or what's going to come through because the medium really doesn't have any control of those people that come through. Have you ever been, and I'm sure like you can't turn it off? Yeah, yeah, I can. Oh, you can. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:29:15 Oh, my God. Oh, that's good. Shut those fools up. Oh, my. Have you ever been like on vacation or at the mall? And then you're just like, all right, hold on. I got to tell this lady at Macy's. Hey, just so you know.
Starting point is 01:29:28 Got to turn it off. Yeah. Yeah. So when I was much younger, when I did not have the ability to turn it like on and off, I did not know that because I was kind of like the energizer bunny, just kind of constantly going and going and going. Yeah. I was tired and I was drained.
Starting point is 01:29:40 I didn't know why. So I remember one time, God, I don't even know, maybe 12, 13 years old. I was at a fast food restaurant and there was a lady in front of me. And I was just picking up this vibration, this energy. And I'm like, oh, my God, I feel like her dad's here. I feel like her dad's here. Like, I'm literally shaking like this. I'm like, I want to tell her.
Starting point is 01:29:58 But at the point, like, again, being an ethical medium, I did not know a lot about this work. I was a young kid. And I remember telling her like, hey, your dad is here. He's explaining X, Y, Z, involved. blah, blah, and she, like, literally turned around, like, there, like, and shocked. And she goes, oh, my gosh, she goes, my dad just passed away, like, a couple months ago. And I need to hear this.
Starting point is 01:30:18 So literally half of her, like, was there, the other half of wanted to run away because I feel like, again, shocked the unknown, not knowing. And then you have, like, a 12, 13-year-old kid telling you this at the same time. Oh, my dad. I know. I know. You're probably, like, you're probably just dressed so normal, like a billabong shirt. It's right? Can you just tell me my dad's here?
Starting point is 01:30:37 Billabong. Dude, that had had me down. you talking about it. I wasn't that lucky. Every day you prove it more and more. What? I just named a 90s brand. At that point, we were wearing shirts that didn't even have the brand attached to it.
Starting point is 01:30:56 All right. Now, I think all of this was like iceberg breaking the ice. Yeah. Because I'm sure you can even feel our own human energies like very like, I want to tell you my story with you. and just kind of set a refresher. So a few months back, we were doing a screening,
Starting point is 01:31:13 a movie screening. I believe it was for Insidious. Insidious. And I'm a scaredy cat. I don't even like scary movies like that. Shout out to Cici Valencia from K-Day. She had invited you to go watch it. You like scary movies?
Starting point is 01:31:24 Well, actually, Sony invited me. They hired me. Oh, so you like scary movies. Yeah, I watch. I love all that stuff. But I also am a critic when it comes down to like insidious. The realisticness. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 01:31:36 So we went and Part of it was that AJ was just going to, as people were coming in, kind of do rings on people, kind of be like, hey, I send something. So I'm working it. I'm not even paying attention really. I'm just trying to help people come in. And now I turn into an usher because lucky people are loud. And I'm like, hey, as you come in, please be quiet. Because there's a reading going on.
Starting point is 01:31:57 As you come in, please be quiet. And as I'm doing that, he's like, hey, there's someone like in that area. And a woman was standing up already in front of me. So she was like trying to receive his messages. and he's like, no, it's like a man, it's like older man. And she's explaining it. And she's like, no, and he's like, can you move to the side? And it's like in the movie where like when she moves to the side, I'm ushering people
Starting point is 01:32:19 in like, hurry up, get on me, get on you. And I was like, oh, wait, me. And you ended up talking about a man that is my Tio Rafa. And you were explaining him. He's like, you know, he works with cars. Like, I just see him like tinkering on a car. And it tripped me out because when I, when you were to ask me how I remember my uncle, he always had like an old car.
Starting point is 01:32:38 that I never saw running, but he was always working on it and always tinkering on it, right? And you explain things like of that nature and you talk about a woman with a J name and that's my Tia Josefina. And this is stuff like, like, lo-key, when I was telling the crew, I'm like, this is stuff you couldn't find on Facebook because they're too old to even use Facebook or anything of that nature, like to know that this stuff is going on. And you're like, you told me something. You're like, there's like a celebration in October.
Starting point is 01:33:02 Like keep that in mind. And my part, I'm like, no, because I was, I was remembering the days they died, right? So he had passed away. I believe in the beginning of a year. I'm like, no, I don't know if it's the day he passed, but I'm going to take it to my primos because it was just me. Right. I call my cousin Danny,
Starting point is 01:33:17 and I'm explaining the reading that you gave me, and he was like, Leti, both my tia and my Tio who's passed, their birthdays are in October. And he just started tripping out to him. That was a confirmation. And the message that you passed along was for specifically my aunt. So I'm like, can you just, I think in our family, and what's crazy is like, in our family,
Starting point is 01:33:37 the older ones so like my dad and my Tia are the oldest siblings they don't like telling things to the family because they don't want to hurt or shock them like it took a while for the family to even know that my my uncle had passed away because my grandma's still alive they don't want to like shock her right so I told my cousin if you want to tell my Tia please let her know this way if you feel like she's up for it and she can handle it please do that it's a weird thing that we have like tell us but leave it up to your discretion and he was just so thankful but when you did that I was like no this is crazy because I wasn't even expecting that well you know you know I wasn't even expecting um C C C or you to be there but I had no idea to be quite frank because
Starting point is 01:34:16 Sony didn't tell me anything they just hired me to be to come through to the yeah to do the readings and this and that so when I got there um I saw Ciz I was like oh my god I haven't you know talked to her in a while this and that so it was kind of one of those things and there was you know there was you that was there I'm like gosh you look familiar and then you know and forgive me because I talked to a lot of different people yeah and I'm like you know I was like I didn't think anything of it, like the connection or whatever. And so I'm kind of just doing my own thing. And so when you were up there, like, ushering.
Starting point is 01:34:42 Yeah. That's how I believe how spirit works. It works in those beautiful moments and those opportunities when they want to get a message across to the right person. And you were supposed to be there. Not just really to the event. You were supposed to be there. And I'm going to tell you this. Then you brought up.
Starting point is 01:34:57 And this is weird to me. Honestly, we can have 5,000 events. My husband won't go to any of them. He chose to go to this particular event. He likes scary movies. but this particular theater was in downtown L.A. it was a regal theater
Starting point is 01:35:12 it's like right by L.A. live, all of that. You start hinting towards something about like, after you tell me about my uncle, you start saying like, all right, there's somebody else that's kind of tapping in with me for you and it's a guy and was someone that you know like ambushed in a way, maybe shot. And I was like, and AJ, I promise you,
Starting point is 01:35:32 I'm like, no, not me. Maybe it's another person behind me. But my crew is up there and they're like, Leti, Nipsey. And you start talking about things of like the ambush style passing that he had. And by the way, Nipsey himself and his family, very spiritual people as well. And so my husband at the time was getting food. And throughout the whole reading, he's getting food. And throughout the whole reading, I'm like, he needs to be here.
Starting point is 01:35:55 Because you were like, you're like, if not you, is there someone else that's in here that's like really attached to him? And him and my husband are brothers. It's like like Nipsey is the god Yeah Nipsey and his brother Godfathers to our children Like this is how tight Our families run
Starting point is 01:36:10 And so I'm like I wish he's in here I wish he was in here I wish he was in here He had missed the whole reading But you were explaining things And you were like He wants him to know
Starting point is 01:36:17 Like whatever they're doing He agrees Because my husband right now Works very close With Nipsey's brother And the family To make different projects Come together
Starting point is 01:36:26 So when you gave that message I'm happy You can't shop for that message When you gave that message I'm like okay, this is specific to him. And it was really beautiful to get it. Now, as I'm telling Jorge, who's very skeptical himself,
Starting point is 01:36:40 he's the typical Mexican-matica, like, I'll tell him, I'll see things to like, go back to sleep. But he's like, because I was also thinking, why would Nipsey's Spirit be at the insidious premiere, right? And Jorge told me that was his favorite movie theater to go watch movies. No. And so it's like that type of a connection.
Starting point is 01:37:01 I was like, well, that's a trip to me. Because I often think, like, even if they're not following me, they're following you and knowing this was a space. Oh, no, it was actually with you, Maximo. Jorge was in, he didn't even tell me. So as they're going to get food. And again, my husband's like, oh, yeah, they're like, whatever. Letty dey park Googled you or whatever. Maximo was like in the elevator, Jorge was telling me how Nipsey loved the theater.
Starting point is 01:37:24 So my husband didn't even tell me. He told Maximo in the same moment that you're reading me, he was telling Maximo about Nipsey loving that theater. So that type of stuff to me gives me the confirmation about you. You know, a lot of people just love scamming this world. My friend, Maximo, we call him scamsimo. You know what? But you can't deny something that is so in your face, so clear. And I want to give you that moment if you would like to share with us anything that you feel or anything that you've sensed.
Starting point is 01:37:56 But is it okay to keep you here? I would love to stay as long as you want me. Oh, yes. All right. We are coming up on thea de los Muerre, some start celebrating today or as soon as yesterday and widely celebrated tomorrow. I think it's already within us as Latinos to celebrate life after death. You know, no one has these types of Diada Los Muerre celebrations like Mexican and Mexican community does. It is beautiful.
Starting point is 01:38:22 Right, yep. You know, it's to see that celebrated, you've seen the movie Skoko, you've seen like the connection. And we brought in A.J. Barreira, who is a psychic medium. And you know what's crazy is off off air the guys are talking to and I love it because more than anything the guys become very skeptic. And Greg, what were you saying? Yeah, I was telling him that like listening to him talk about all this, it's very relaxing and he makes it feel like it just, you know, a lot of people look at you and probably like, oh, don't do that to me. But you make it very like, you make it very like relaxing. You know what?
Starting point is 01:38:54 Like maybe I do want to have that connection with somebody around me or something like that. Do you feel that age as you talk that like the anxious. kind of goes away from people around you 100% you know I can immediately tell when someone has anxiety and I do most of my sessions via Zoom so I don't do any in person so I can feel that because their voice is everything to me when I talk to a person so when I do radio I started my work at 19 years old in Burbank and at a radio station so that's how my career started and I didn't have a website and have an email I was giving my cell number on the radio well yeah because I was like I did not know what
Starting point is 01:39:27 what was going to happen here this one with that one appearance turned into a five-year thing and that's how my first started. So for me, the voice is everything. And I do believe, which is why I love radio, I believe radio is the best medium for a medium. Because it removes everything else. Removes everything else, right?
Starting point is 01:39:44 I feel like you would do great on the party line. Right. That's going to go. This AJ. What up? Are you sure you really want to do that? Yeah. I love it.
Starting point is 01:39:59 I love it. Okay, I think before the break we asked you, and I kind of told you my story of my experience with you. And it was not, it was a chance encounter. I didn't go to you. I didn't call you. Oftentimes, you were like, well, if you call them, you're letting them know your number and they could go like, especially with online. But you, you surprised me. And I was beautifully surprised, to be honest with me, because I, I embrace all of that stuff.
Starting point is 01:40:21 I feel very sensitive to things. So to me, it was something beautiful. Is there anything that you feel currently within the room? Now, we have a bunch of, we feel a lot of. A lot of emotions. We all came in one car too. Yeah. It was a Toyota.
Starting point is 01:40:34 As they all did, right? Yeah, I mean, honestly, I actually want to go with Irene. With Irene. Yeah, because immediately, as soon as I heard your voice, like I just felt like I was drawn to you. I don't know if you know your dads of the family pretty well, but I do need to recognize there is a gentleman in spirit that is stepping four there. That we do need to acknowledge here. When he comes through, he was making himself known immediately as soon as I got here and there was a sense of excitement. What he's telling me to tell you, though, is that he wants to make sure that he gives you the opportunity, gives you the opportunity for him to say, like, I love you.
Starting point is 01:41:08 Because I don't think that he couldn't say it. I just feel like there was difficulty with him trying to express that in his own means. Because as we mentioned, men can be very dominant. I just feel like there's kind of like this aggressive energy with him. I feel like your grandfather was kind of like this big kind of teddy bear energy, to be quite frank. Like he could have been very timid, but love people. I feel like he's bringing up here. And they're showing me my grandfather who's passed on on my mom's side.
Starting point is 01:41:30 So I'm going to bring something up here. Is there like a funny reference? Not so much with his immobility, but was there something like either like did he hit people with a cane or something? Not that I know of, no. So I'm going to bring something up here. And this might be something very humors. I don't know if there's some sort of like hitting with a bat or hitting, not with a belt, but with like a bat or stick or something like that. But he's teasing like then the younger energy, which I would see then his son, your father is where I want to go to.
Starting point is 01:41:56 My dad would play baseball. Oh, okay. So, okay. Your dad is still living though, correct? Yes. Can you let him know that his father says hello from heaven today? And this is his way acknowledging him and including him into the reading. I feel like that when he talks about it, there's just a way with him that he wants to show him how proud he is of him.
Starting point is 01:42:14 Because I'm going to say something, and I know this is very sensitive. I know we're on air in doing this. But I feel like that your grandfather, his father, was a very straightforward way. and I don't think he was able to validate his son in the way that your dad needed to be validated. Yeah. Does that, okay? So when he brings this up here,
Starting point is 01:42:31 he wants to identify that love. Also, is your birthday? Whose birthday is coming up or just passed? Both of ours. Okay, happy birthday. So I just feel like it's their way wishing you, happy birthday and your father to recognize that connection. It's interesting because when he shows himself to me,
Starting point is 01:42:45 there's a way with him. And I want to be respectful because I do see every passing as being tragic, but he's showing me as like just taking his last breath, like just going to sleep. And I want you to understand. that he did not suffer. He did not go through pain. We were in the room when he took his last breath
Starting point is 01:42:59 and it was very traumatizing for all of us. So I'm getting emotional. I want to let you know. That traumatized moment can end today. Okay. So close that chapter. You're not going to forget about him, but this is the way expressing his love
Starting point is 01:43:11 and this is why he's here for you. All right. Thank you. You're welcome. Irene, I know you're going through a lot right now, so you don't have to explain all of that, but do you feel like that was like what you're... How do you feel?
Starting point is 01:43:24 Well, last month. night I had talked to him. I talked to my grandpa a lot because I grew up with him and I had told him like if you're going to come through please come through for my dad because my grandpa has visited all of us in our dreams or I've seen him I felt him around the house and stuff and my dad like gets really sensitive to the fact that my grandpa has well his dad had never given him any signs or he hasn't felt him or anything so I always felt like to me like it hadn't happened because my dad wasn't ready my dad is very sensitive and I know like um him passing, like took a toll on him.
Starting point is 01:43:57 So I was like, maybe you're just not ready for that yet. But yesterday, when I was talking to him before I went to bed, I was like, if you come through, come through for him, please. Wow. Just because I want my dad to have that piece. Well, this is what, again, why you're here, why I'm here. I do believe they orchestrated, you know, more so than us and producers and so on, so forth. And that's part of the process. As I mentioned, your voice is everything to me, long as it's a clear voice and things that nature.
Starting point is 01:44:21 That's what draws me into a person. It's not their physical connection. And there's something I do want to bring up here, and this might sound a little woo-woo, like, you know, not sketchy, but I just get the sense of you kind of being like your own medium. So I don't know if there's kind of like the lineage in, if you will, but I just feel like there's a respect of that, that I feel like that the way that you communicate with like, not just your grandfather, but your loved ones, your guides, your angels, that you have an innate ability to recognize that connection. Come on, Mary. And I do. It's second nature to. I'll confirm that to you. It's second nature to her because I'll feel something. She's like, yeah, that was this. Oh, wow. What you felt was this.
Starting point is 01:44:57 Okay. So it makes sense to me. One last thing. And I always say one last thing, but because Spirit. Yeah, it's never one last thing. But with Spirit, there's a way with how they present themselves. I might misinterpret something because the way they showed it to me earlier, but the way I'm seeing it now, even though you were there to be there for like his last moments, like taking his last breath, he doesn't want to emphasize the traumatic moment, but more so the physical time with him. And I think that's the important part.
Starting point is 01:45:23 I'm going to bring something up here, which might sound a little cliche in some unique way, but I feel like there's might have a different meaning to you. Are you one of three siblings by any chance? There's five of us. Okay, so is it the three boys or is it three girls? Yeah, there's three boys and two girls. Okay, so we need to acknowledge them the three boys. I feel like this is, yeah, this is his way that including the boys into the reading.
Starting point is 01:45:45 So my misinterpretation might be, is there parallels them with your grandfather and one of the boys? Like either their middle name is his first name or vice versa? No But my youngest brother was with him all the time Like my baby brother Rubin He's bringing up He's bringing up one of the boys out of the three So if it is him
Starting point is 01:46:05 I don't want to reach for something I don't want you to do that But just make note to it if that's a case Because it might be his way honoring him and thanking him For being there with him So if that was physically Virtually talking with him
Starting point is 01:46:15 Yeah so if it makes sense You don't have to tell You don't explain it if it makes sense That's all that I need to know Just to respect that process And the weird thing that I said that I was going to sound, that sounds a little cliche, you know those, I'm laughing about it because I'm seeing it. You know, I don't even know if they still have them. Like back in the, what, 90s, 80s, they used to have those old, like rides outside the grocery stores and so on and so forth.
Starting point is 01:46:42 Your grandfather always used to take you on those? Okay. I'm seeing my little sister and my grandfather. So I feel like that your grandfather wants you remember those good times, those moments. I feel like there might be a personal moment or story that you just recently. talked about or shared and he wants to say like his soul and spirit was with you during that time. Oh, he didn't. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:46:58 E.J. Yeah. Well, she cries right now. You get shown your grandpa on your mother. Like you mentioned before like I'm seeing my grandpa on my mother's side. So tell me what the spirits do to you. Yeah. Like what do you see?
Starting point is 01:47:15 Yeah. I'm getting emotional too. Sorry. No pun intended with the dead air. But. So, here's the radio center. So here's the thing is doing this work is that, you know, when I connect with my loved ones who have passed on through someone else's reading, it's kind of their way connecting with me at the same time. So anytime I get to connect with someone that's similar to my grandfather or my grandmother or my uncles or so on and so forth, it's their way coming through indirectly.
Starting point is 01:47:44 But also it's part of my symbolism. So if I'm seeing an uncle, my godfather, who's a person. of like the badge or a firefighter like those are my uncle so i know either it's about their name their career their occupation something along the lines here so it's kind of like this big dictionary vocabulary that they worked through me to help me interpret so in a very sad way with the whole you know pandemic and the covid thing you know the whole thing that happened i saw you know witnessed so much loss through my readings and so a new symbol that i had during that time was any time that i saw um a ventilator it represented covid for sure that's what it meant so now when i do
Starting point is 01:48:20 any type of readings. It represents COVID. So anytime I see the ventilator. You know it to mention it. Yeah. So over the years, my vocabulary, my symbolism is always building. It's never going to be the same. I always expressed to people, readings will sound similar because it's my symbolism. That will never change. That's how they pop in. Your little signs to know which way to go.
Starting point is 01:48:36 Yeah, but you know, the readings are going to be different. But even for that memory, and I don't even know my little sister, I think she listens to you. I know she does. She goes like, those fools are funny. So she's happy. Yeah, she's happy. Yeah, she texts me last night. She goes like, oh, you're going to be on their show? I go like, yeah. So, but if she is listening to Amanda, like, you know,
Starting point is 01:48:55 she was very special to my grandfather. Oh, I always say that. She was a favorite. Wow. I'm like you. I was not the favorite. Is there anything else that you're sensing? Just my own emotions.
Starting point is 01:49:11 Yeah, yeah. Let's do it. Let's do it. All right. I don't know. Who do you got on the line? We have Allie from Downey on Line 2. Good one.
Starting point is 01:49:19 morning, Ellie. Good morning, guys. Good morning. Are you as like in your feelings as we are? I am so emotional. And I was just telling, I was texting Victor and I was telling him. So I actually had tickets, I had been given tickets to see AJ maybe like a year ago and I couldn't go. And this morning when I heard he was on the radio, I was like, I have to talk to him. I was like, I don't care if Victor has to talk to him. I have to talk to him because I've, that's, that's, that. is like the deepest regret I have is like not going. Oh, Ali. Is there anyone specific that you have in mind when you want to connect?
Starting point is 01:50:01 Yes, my mom. I want to say mom. Yeah. As soon as you even said that, I hurt mom. So I'm just going to jump right in here because the first thing I do want to recognize here, your mom is a very bold, very loud energy when she comes through. For sure. I feel like that her personality is that she was very chatty-cathy here in the physical realm.
Starting point is 01:50:18 And I need to say something quite. Yeah, because I need to say something with her because once she presents herself to me, she just wants to say like she's kind of like running, kind of like running a muck. Like she's very active. She's kind of doing like a busy body type of thing. But I need to say something quite interesting here is that I don't know if you guys have like a funny dance together or funny routine. But there's something about this that she wants to say that as if she were still kind of like doing our funny dance or corky thing. What is that? She was like a big dancer.
Starting point is 01:50:45 Like she was the life of the party. She was always dancing. and she just like that's just her personality like when you think of her you think of music and dancing and like a good time I want to let you know your mom is dancing in the afterlife she's having a great time and in those moments that you are goofy and having a good time it's your mom's soul and spirit dancing with you in that very moment I just feel like that when she comes through there's a way with her that she really wants to make sure you know that when you know people always want to hear the I love you as I miss you and I know that you know that your mom loves you but I feel like by her way of coming through is her way expressing her love to you. So I feel like there's an understanding that she wants to give you. Now, I'm going to say something here in a very beautiful way.
Starting point is 01:51:25 And I feel like that when your mom shows it to me, I don't know if you're at work, if we're driving, or if you live by yourself. But when I first, like, say, like, walk into your, like, front door, am I already landing into, like, say, like your living room area, like your living room? Yeah. Okay. So if I go straight forward, is there like a small little hub or wall there and that's your kitchen? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:51:49 Okay. So right before we enter the kitchen, do you have something of your mom's that's right there? Not so much an altar, but there's some sort of memorial that we need to bring up here? Her when she was young. Okay. She wants to say thank you for doing that. Thank you for having that out.
Starting point is 01:52:02 She wants to let you know that her soul and spirit is with you in that very moment. She's telling me to tell you that you talk to her way too much, though. So she can help me out with your problems. So I don't know if you're like, mom, help me with this. Mom figure this out. Mommy, you better tell her. I got it from you. You better tell her.
Starting point is 01:52:19 I talk a lot because of you. Always. Yeah, I just feel like she wants to tease you about that because the way that she shows it to me is that you ask her a lot for help. And I just want to let you know that. They can't do the work for us, but they can assist us, assist us and guide us in the way that they need to. And I feel like that your mom wants to make sure that she is listening. And she's very much aware of your conversations when you speak to her out loud or more so as a thought. And I'm going to say something here in a very beautiful way.
Starting point is 01:52:47 Yes, we're kind of at this point. of like, you know, Day of the Dead, we're honoring our loved ones and so on and so forth. But separate from that, there's a unique reference here. And I don't know if I'm going to go a little bit religious and I don't want to go in that direction. But is there some sort of religious, like either art piece that you did for her or have an honor for her? Like, did you get like some sort of like rosary tattoo or some sort of like weird, not weird,
Starting point is 01:53:11 but like a cross thing that we need to bring up here? Like she's bringing something very, very religious. I don't have like a tattoo. I mean, I have a tattoo for her, but the only thing that I could think is religious is when she passed at her funeral, we had these, kind of like these, it's a Virgin Mary that would connect to her tombstone. Well, yeah, like her tombstone where we buried her. And we got to take that home. And so I have that. And my sister has one.
Starting point is 01:53:44 So we each have one. And then we, I mean, I've kept it this whole time and I carry it. Okay, it just lets me know that that's what she's talking about. I'm just misinterpreting. I thought it was like so important of like art piece. If that's like the art piece, like the renalist artifact. Yeah, that's her way. Yeah, she wants to say thank you for having that.
Starting point is 01:53:59 And this would then be her way, including your sister into the reading. So to let your sister know, mom says hello from heaven and recognizes her as well. Thank you. You're welcome. Oh, my gosh. Is there a question that you want to ask, like anything in general to your mom? I mean, I may not have the answer, but, you know. I mean, I think sometimes, you know, with such a busy life, like, we just want to make sure that they don't feel like we forget them.
Starting point is 01:54:25 And I do my best to, like, make sure that she knows that, like, we miss her, you know. So I just, I just, hearing that just validates that she knows, you know, because I don't go every day to, like, her, you know, grave and things like that. And sometimes I feel really guilty about that. So, but she knows I'm talking to her and clearly too much. I'm going to give you something here and I'm hearing it now but if you are yeah I'm here give me one second if you are familiar with the song by my room 5 memories she's playing that so I don't know my god
Starting point is 01:55:03 so is that something you listen to quite often okay yeah this is then your mom's we say that's our song to my mom oh my gosh Ellie then this is mom's way just reconfirming so this is love for your mom and this is her way that including her grandson and her way of Oh my gosh. A lot of love to you, Allie. A lot of love to you. Oh, Ali. Thank you so much. You're welcome.
Starting point is 01:55:29 Also listen to the Nipsey Hustle version of memories, please. It's just really good. Wow. Vick, how do you feel? Because I don't know if you knew this and you probably didn't. But Ali, the lady on the line is also, and when you're talking about her son, you're also, and when you're talking about her son, you're talking about Vic's son. And so Ali knew the lady that you were talking to too. When you're talking about laughing and dancing, I see you turn up to it because she was a party.
Starting point is 01:55:52 Yeah, yeah. We lived together. She passed away when we lived together. Oh, wow. Like, similar to Irene, like, we saw her take her last breath as well. She succumbed to cancer. So it's just, like, I have such vivid memories of her dancing and stuff. Wow.
Starting point is 01:56:06 The whole time I knew her, she had cancer, but she was still the life of the party, you know. So it was just dope, like, remembering her. It still shows that this is her way of just being still the life of party in the accolars. Yeah. I like that. And I like it because she was salvi, so I know she was like, she's a very strong woman. Yeah, right away. I'm like, yep, that's her.
Starting point is 01:56:25 Yep. She always made me take out the trash. I like, I'm going to put she goes. Well, certain spirits are louder than others. So honestly, some are very, you know, timid. Just kind of like in life maybe. You know, I always try to express to people like your loved ones will communicate in a very similar manner, you know, as it were physically.
Starting point is 01:56:42 So, and I'll do my best just to interpret that. So a lot of people freak out when they seem like looking up at the ceiling, the floor or whatever. not paying attention to anyone. I'm actually seeing the stuff being played and I'm hearing it all at the same time. I have one more question for you, AJ. Like, for example, when you spoke about Irene's grandfather and him aware of the things that he wasn't like in life, are they still learning? Are they still like growing even in being past? Yes, we continue to evolve. We continue to grow in the afterlife. So unfortunately, I don't know if this is a good thing or bad thing, but the way I see it is that this is kind of just our high school here in the physical realm. Yeah. And then when we transitioned into the spirit realm, we go to college, we learn, we learn bigger lessons, and we help other people and there's soul groups. Those soul groups, we work with other people. So we reincarnate and in years, years down the road, depending on your belief or religion.
Starting point is 01:57:31 So it's like, you know, Buddhist or reaching nirvana or enlightenment, depending on, again, your belief, but just believe that you come back as an animal or you come back in a certain way. And, you know, I do believe that we do come back, but it takes a number of years for us to reincarnate. So I don't think we come back immediately. So I just feel like it takes time. But I always joke around with people that I would never want like my own loved ones to be like my spiritual guides because, you know, because they haven't like been over there for quite some time. Yeah, it's like that. Go to college. Yeah, exactly. Stay school. And I'd be that I love if they're listening.
Starting point is 01:58:04 Where did you grow up, AJ? Haseena Heights, California. Oh, come on. Hoseena Heights, what up? Yeah, right? L.P. Okay. Okay.
Starting point is 01:58:11 All right. But AJ's in here, you know, as one of the biggest celebrations that we have as Latinos and as Mexicans is the De Los Mueros, which I like that more and more people are taking a part of. Thanks a lot to Disney and what they did with Coco. It allows people to, maybe they might not have celebrated people, but now they see like, wow, there's some, there's an actual day that you can go out as a community and as one and go celebrate the people that have passed that you still remember every day and you don't look crazy. Right, right. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:58:40 Certain people do, and this is so crazy that they think it's a Mexican Halloween, you know, which is so bizarre. And I think it's people being educated. So I kind of think Disney for kind of putting that movie out there to educate the masses. So I'm blessed that more people are coming around to it and doing it regardless of your Hispanic, Mexican, white, you know, whatever you are. And you honor them in that same way. It's a beautiful thing. You know, before the break, we got on the line with Ali and you were talking to her about a song.
Starting point is 01:59:05 Like I was singing of the Coco song, remember me and how sad. You know what it is? But they play you songs too. They're like, they give you a playlist, the ghost of your playlist, or what? Play this. So you heard memories by Maroon 5 while you were talking to her and you wanted to let her know that her mom heard it. But it's like, are they like jamming in your ear? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:59:24 So it's so bizarre. There's been so many references where I've heard like music and songs and it could be their way identifying their name, their message or whatever. So there was a reading that I was doing in L.A. were this brother passed on and I was bringing through the information. I said, you know, I go, I don't know why I'm hearing this song. I can't remember who it's by it, but it's like, Louie, Louie, and I was hearing that song, she goes, my brother's name is Louis. So, again, that's more of like an oldie song.
Starting point is 01:59:51 Yeah, of course. Another one, this was just more of a recent one that I did an event in Riverside and was hearing, oh my God, the Steve Miller band, the Joker. Oh. You know, your Joker. That's his reference. That's all me. That's reference.
Starting point is 02:00:03 So I was hearing that song and I'm like, what? You know, I'm hearing like a space cowboy, this and that. My name is Maurice. This lady's husband was named, it is named Maurice. Wow. So again, there's a lot of moments music does help me to interpret just like Ali's reading. Wow. Those have like a dope playlist.
Starting point is 02:00:21 That's them. Yeah. You can take iPods to the afterlife? Right. The weird part, when I do hear music waking up, like when I have a client, I'm like, oh, this is for sure for a client. I don't know who it is. But it might be someone that I see them. Oh my gosh.
Starting point is 02:00:36 That's so tight. And probably crazy for you. Like, why am I hearing bunda right now? Tamborosa, 7 in the morning. You know what I wanted for my weekend. Let me get by Sarasa. All right, let's take it to the phone lines because we are taking your calls to give you that moment to talk to AJ. Irene, who do we have on the line?
Starting point is 02:00:54 We have Summer from Whittier on line one. Summer. Summer. Oh. What's up, Summer? Hello. Hey, Summer. If by any chance, we are on Bluetooth or speaker, can you take us off?
Starting point is 02:01:08 you are not okay because you sound like really crackily yeah um we're gonna put you on hold just really uh really quickly and maybe if you could just maybe i'm wondering i'll get her phone number and then we'll call her another line it might be that line it might be the line one yeah um irene who's on line for um felix from silmar felix felix good morning felix good morning good morning oh they're on together hold on one second this will three-way them can I ask you something with one of those callers? Do one of them have a sister passed over
Starting point is 02:01:45 passed on? Do you know? Did they ask you? Did he either ask you about a sister? Felix has his wife on the line with him. Oh, that's what we're... Oh my gosh. We're on three-way. Hey, Felix, you and your wife scared me, bro, because you're all are on three-way.
Starting point is 02:02:02 And we're about to get on four-way with the other side. All right. So wifey is the one. that would like to have the reading? Yes? Yes. Okay.
Starting point is 02:02:14 Are you his wife? Yes or no? I don't know. Now you sound like me. I just want to yes or no. Who are you, lady, that's talking? What's your name? Go ahead.
Starting point is 02:02:25 My name is Melissa. Okay. Melissa, we're going to talk to you, okay? We're talking to you, Melissa. Okay. Okay. You guys called in and we have AJ in here with us. Is there someone specific that you are trying to reach?
Starting point is 02:02:38 Um, either parent. Either parent. Either my mom or my dad. I'm going to go immediately with your mom and I hope, no disrespect to your dad, but the first thing I do bring up here is just a female figure immediately. What I do need to bring up here is that she actually shows herself to me as a sister figure to you. And I feel like this is why I want to go with you immediately. When she steps in here, she wants to make sure that she's standing by your side, that she's still with you in those moments. The reason why I'm saying that is I feel like that you truly need a lot of this guidance of your life.
Starting point is 02:03:08 I don't feel like that you're lost, but I feel like you want that validation if you're on the right path. And I feel like your mom can assist you in that process here, spiritually speaking. So if you're kind of like doubting yourself and saying like, hey, I can't make this. I don't know what I'm going to do. I feel like this is mom's way recognizing this. Does that make sense? Yes, it does. Okay.
Starting point is 02:03:25 Yeah, I lost her at early age. Okay. So I feel like this is her way making sure that she's still kind of this young, beautiful lady once she comes through, not someone who's older. She's not aging in the afterlife. And that's a beautiful part, guys. We don't age in the afterlife. We kind of come back in the way that we want to.
Starting point is 02:03:38 Oh, we get to choose? Oh, seven-year-old letting. Yeah, kidding, kidding. But Melissa, I feel like there's a way with your mom is that I want to bring up here. And I'm laughing and I'm smiling about it because your mom just showed me a younger version of herself, as I mentioned. She's just a very beautiful lady. Kind of has this, if I can see, if I'm seeing it correctly or, yeah, the way I'm seeing it, she kind of comes through like, is it Farrah Fawcett with kind of like this big hair?
Starting point is 02:04:05 I don't know if you have a big photo with her like that. Yeah. Yeah, she wants to come through that way to say like, hey, I have this beautiful hair. I still look gorgeous in a way that she wants to come through. And I need to say something here. Yeah, because there's what she is showing me and just bear with me is the way that she's, hold on, the way that she's showing it to me is that there's something that you did. And I don't want to sound cliche, and I always stated because sometimes it can sound cliche,
Starting point is 02:04:28 but is there some sort of like, like, oh my God, like a bedazzled frame or some sort of like, um we uh slime like yeah like like diamond frame that you did in honor of her um i have a picture of her in my hallway um but is there the way you described her you know okay but is there something then what some sort of beat it um ring that we need to bring up here or like something that that looks like diamonds but it's like like chandelier crystals that's that that's that's a direction I want to go into um if it doesn't make sense now don't make it fit just hold on to it I always help people of things that don't make sense become the biggest validation and I like it's your mom's way identifying either saying that you have that my impression it's relating
Starting point is 02:05:14 then to you and your family so if it's like you and your husband you and your kids it feels like it's something like that that she sees that you have that but i feel like it's important how she needs to come through what i do need to bring up here and i might be mistaken but she's giving me a lot of this um and i don't want to be too personal but she's taking me to a sense like um um like in a vegetative state so i don't know if she's going to show me a lot of blackness so i don't know if it was like kind of a one two three passing or it was just like um something that she was kind of of like in a black in a blackness state of mind kind of like not asleep but it feels like there's something something neurological that she's bringing up here how does that make sense um so she um was diagnosed
Starting point is 02:05:52 with birth cancer and um she passed within a year um and she was at home when she passed and um it was my my father and my brother and myself um in the home when she passed so it was yeah all of a sudden so here's a thing during so what i do need to bring up here in a very respective way if there is a period um i don't want to say the last moments of her death but she's bringing up more so like her awareness during that time frame so if things were kind of like not sketchy but if things were difficult i feel like that she wants to say like she remembers you the way i'm hearing it is like um i don't know who it's by but um i think it's called um remember i think oh sorry uh brandy clark it's a country artist and it's uh it's called remember me mom or remember me listen to that song i feel there's a
Starting point is 02:06:34 message in there that your mom is trying to send you because i feel like it's going to be one of those A aha moments, but see this obviously as her mom's way, express your love and gratitude towards you, okay? Okay, thank you. Awesome, thank you. Oh, Melissa, can I talk to you real quick? Yeah, cool. When he talked about, like, how your mom was young and, like, her hair,
Starting point is 02:06:51 did that trip you out? Yes. Because that's crazy to me. Yeah, yeah, that's exactly, that's her. And I wouldn't know her any other way, her hair, you know. Yeah, she had bangs and 80s look. Come on. Good. Hello, Betty. All right. Thank you so much for calling them, Melissa. I mean, who else we have on the line?
Starting point is 02:07:13 I got Summer back on the line on line. Yeah, I'm just glad that we can choose our age. Summer, yes. We hear you a lot better, Summer. Thank you. You're welcome. Is there someone specifically that you're trying to reach talking to our guy, AJ Barreira right now? Yes, hi, AJ. This is Summer from Whittier. Hi, Summer. How are you doing? I'm good. Thank you. I'm just trying to see if there's any messages. have from my best friend Nicole? From your best friend or for? From my best friend Nicole. And I say that's going to be okay. But here's the thing.
Starting point is 02:07:48 What I do need to bring up here? She comes through as a sister figure. So I feel like that this is an energy of how she comes through immediately. Once she steps forward here, there's a way with her. And I'm going to say something to you. And I don't want you to take it the wrong way. But I don't know if you kind of have a bad spending problem, like shopping way too much. But she wants to make sure that you take care of like your budget.
Starting point is 02:08:04 Like don't buy the purses. I feel like I'm shopping right now. I don't know if she was like a shopaholic or a fashionist or whatever you call them, but she wants to say like if she still looks fly in the afterlife. Does that all make sense? It makes a lot of sense. So there's a way with her and I just love her because she just shows her big, beautiful smile when she comes through. And I just feel like there's a way with her that, you know, I call it the Kool-Aid smile.
Starting point is 02:08:27 You know what I mean? So I feel like that she wants to say that she's absolutely happy. She's telling me that she's telling me to tell you, though, is that I don't know if you have it now on your phone, but did you put, do you have her like with a big smile on your phone or did you just look at that photo? I did. Okay. She wants to say like her soul and spirit was right there with you in that very moment to recognize that. Your girl, like your sister, she's all up in your business.
Starting point is 02:08:50 Seriously. Because I just feel like that she wants to make sure that she's never leaving your side at all whatsoever. What she is showing me though is making sure that you take care of yourself because she's not really saying goodbye. She's not saying I'm sorry. But what she wants to say is like I feel like there's some unloose ends. with her that she didn't get to say with you. And I think it's more so making sure you have some peace of mind, knowing that she doesn't want you to be upset with her.
Starting point is 02:09:13 So I feel like that she wants to remove any guilt or any responsibility that you feel like that. Oh, I wish I could have talked to her. I wish I could have set this. This might be her way saying like it's all water on the bridge. Does that make sense? A lot. Okay. She's also bringing something up here and I might misinterpret this.
Starting point is 02:09:28 But you know how, oh my God, I'm seeing this in the right light. Just bear with me. Just bear with me. I'm trying to understand it. She's a quick talker. very quick and I'm seeing more symbolism. But there's something Okay, okay.
Starting point is 02:09:41 There's something that she's bringing up here that we need to identify here. Is there some sort of unique like bracelet or charm thing we need to bring up here? Yes. What is it? She loves sunflowers and her family gave me some of her ashes and it's inside the necklace that I wear on my neck that's a sunflower.
Starting point is 02:10:02 Okay, I want to tell you that her soul and spirit is with you during that time frame. You know what's so interesting when you said Sunflower, what immediately came to mind was Post Malone, that song, Sunflower. So I feel like there's a way with her. It might be her way of channeling that message. So if you're driving on the car, you hear that song, that's her soul and spirit with you.
Starting point is 02:10:18 Does that make sense? Does that happen often? A lot of songs. We grew up since we were born, so there's a lot of... So this is why she feels like a sister figure to me. Like she doesn't feel like a friend, she's definitely a sisterhood. What I do need to bring up here in a very beautiful way, summer, and I hope I understand this in the right.
Starting point is 02:10:34 light, but I don't want you to get mad at me. You can get mad at her, spiritually speaking, but she's saying that she is still the better-looking sister, if that makes sense. So I don't know if there were like competition who has better hair, who have better nails, who have better this, but she wants to come through like looking, like fly, honestly. Like there's a style with her, honestly. Oh, she was definitely the fly when she was the biggest fashion. She was the most outspoken, beautiful soul. Oh, she still is summer because the way I get her energy,
Starting point is 02:11:07 I just love her energy because I'm just beaming over here. I'm smiling. I feel very positive, very happy. And I feel like if I can transfer this feeling, this energy to you, I just want to make sure that you know that she's safe and she's okay. Because the feeling that she comes through is just, again, the sisterhood. One last thing that I do need to bring up here. And this might sound a little, not bizarre, but interesting with this.
Starting point is 02:11:31 Is there what I would see? as another sister figure passed on for you? Another sister figure? Yeah, like a friend that would be a sister figure? If it's no, it's no, that's okay. It's not off the top of my head. I've had a lot of people that pass, but... Okay, then otherwise we need to acknowledge
Starting point is 02:11:49 then either your sister, her sister, but there's a sister figure we need to acknowledge here. And they would have passed? No, then still living, then still living. Okay, she did have a sister type, yeah. Okay, whoever that is, if you still have any association and so if that's their text, you know, can you let her know that this is her wasting
Starting point is 02:12:06 Holosis to her acknowledging her, including her in this reading? And I need to tell her something, including in that process here. I know it's her way seeing that she did not have that opportunity to say goodbye. So tell her it's okay. You're welcome. A lot of love to you, okay? Summer. Oh, that was so awesome.
Starting point is 02:12:28 Like that French? Angie, if you don't help me the way that she hunts her best friend, and she's not my friend. I'm going to do a shirt like that if you don't haunt me like my best friend. Angelica, I'm going to die first. Well, okay, we don't hide each other. We're going to hide each other. We're going to date together?
Starting point is 02:12:45 Together? All right. Irene, who else we got in the line, baby girl? I don't have anybody else. Oh, okay. Let's take a breather. Allow you two to get that stuff back. I think that's so cool when they're able to joke.
Starting point is 02:13:00 Yeah. People always think of the afterlife and it's so scary. Her friend was dissing her in the afterlife. Yeah. Yeah, that was cool. I still look better. I'm dead. I'm still in better.
Starting point is 02:13:09 I'm still. I'm still. A lot of people think, like, these readings are just like, yeah, they're sad. They're healing. It's all positive, good life. But honestly, if people see me, like, my work, if it's all, like, on a TikTok, Instagram, whatever it is, even watching my life shows in person or online, the way I work is the same way, like, on radio. It's just the person's voice.
Starting point is 02:13:28 But, yeah, you're just on a computer. So you don't have to be in front of a person. That's the biggest misconception. I wish I can talk to you. I wish I can connect with my little ones. But you live in. California, I'm in France. I go, it works the same way. So the thing with the work, when Spirit brings their humor, it's about them. It's not me. I always tell people. I'm not the funny person.
Starting point is 02:13:43 They are the funny person. So it's all out of humor how it comes to. You're funny though, too. Yeah. I like your jokes too. Okay. Before we go to anybody else, I have like, you know how people can ask you like career questions and stuff? Yeah, yeah, please. What do you see for this show? We're a relatively new show. We have been doing amazing, but there are times that like a lot of the crew is not, hasn't came from radio. So it's kind of like we have our ups and downs. We're sticking through it. Let me check your PBMs real quick. Hold on.
Starting point is 02:14:08 Oh, yeah. Well, 18 and 34. No. Sorry. No, you're going to. They don't even, AJ, they don't even know what PPN is.
Starting point is 02:14:23 I know, I know. I heard it in a meeting one. I think I was awake. No. No. Do you guys really want to know? Yeah. No, I'm kidding.
Starting point is 02:14:33 So here's it. Oh. Oh. No, no, no, I feel good. Honestly, like, you guys have a cool vibe. Every show's different to me, honestly, and because of the energy, the people, so on and so forth. But even with your conversation of you carrying the show and doing this,
Starting point is 02:14:47 I mean, you just have an amazing energy. And your questions are real, it's legit. You're asking, you know, questions that people want to ask about. And it's not so much about me is what I love about. It's like, AJ, yes, it's about my work, but it's educating the listeners and the people about it is what I love. So I feel like if you continue down that path of bringing on the artists, the musicians, and bringing on the artists,
Starting point is 02:15:05 in the humor and all that stuff. I really believe that you guys have a long path. You guys just got to trust what you guys are doing and believe in it. As we mentioned, the law of attraction, manifesting, all that stuff. As long as you have that thought and that energy out there, like, we're going to be good. We're going to keep moving forward. That's the biggest thing you got to focus on. Let's go.
Starting point is 02:15:20 Wow. I'm going to get my helicopter. Do people ever ask you, like, their personal relationship questions? Oh, my God. That's like the number one thing. Yeah? Okay, so one of us recently got broken up with. or isn't going through a breakup.
Starting point is 02:15:36 It's similar. I was going to say it's probably him. I'm a happy person. I'm smiling. And I'll tell you, just being the mom figure in this room, it's like, I see him sad,
Starting point is 02:15:47 but he's not showing him that he's sad. He's sad. Yeah, he's sad. Oh, for sure. Energetically. Because he keeps talking about, oh, this girl's so hot. Oh, look at this girl.
Starting point is 02:15:54 I mean, like, no, you're sad. Yeah. It's more so a mechanism, protective mechanism for you. Because it's like, I'm hurting deep down inside, but if I don't think about it and say,
Starting point is 02:16:03 like, I'm finding someone else. I'm talking to someone else. It makes your heart, your energy feel great. But I think naturally, honestly, you wear your emotions on your sleeve. You truly do. And I think you just don't know how to, yeah, I just don't think you know how to really filter that and turn it off. I think you're very similar to this.
Starting point is 02:16:19 I forgot your name, but the gentleman right behind you. Stephen. Is that you're both kind of the empath, the sensitive when it comes down to that. But I feel like in a very funny way. And I hope I don't hope I'm wrong, but I feel like I might misinterpret this. But I feel like when it comes down to like love or relationships that you love, love, but you want to push love away at the same time. You know? So there's that sense there's nothing wrong with it, but there has to be a sense
Starting point is 02:16:40 of commitment and communication. And that's where the difficulty comes in. Because it feels like there's a sense of like, again, being committed. So there's nothing wrong with that. I just feel like when it comes down to relationships, I'm going to say something here and you can, are we on here? Yeah. Okay. So I'm going to say, all right. So I'm just going to say that and forgive me. I always have to question because I, there's no filter on me. So here's the thing. If the person is listening or not, I'm just going to say it, but I feel like for you, I
Starting point is 02:17:06 just don't want you to repeat an old habit. Yeah. Seriously. Crazy. Yeah. I'll leave it at that. So don't get that. I'll leave it at that. I'll leave it at that. Wow. I love you so much, AJ. I love you
Starting point is 02:17:23 so much. Look, I'm a shot. That's crazy. Let's give away these men. I mean, there's an Andre ticket, because there's going to be a whole other fight on the text. Look, we got two tickets to see David Benavides, take on Demetrius Andrade. It's going on Saturday, November 25th at the Mikhailov Ultra Arena at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas and Codert 10. You're going. Okay, 818, 52059.
Starting point is 02:17:46 That's 818, 52059. Caller 10, we got you. AJ, thank you for coming through. Thank you. Oh, thank you for coming. We're going to steal you. We're probably, we got to kidnap him or something. They'll probably know before.
Starting point is 02:17:57 He'll see it coming here. Can I tell you something really funny? So, you know, after I got done doing an event in Whittier, I was done at the, you know, the double tree up there on Greenleaf. And I was done packing up my car, whatever. And I was trying to get home up. I was tired. It's already like midnight.
Starting point is 02:18:11 You know, and I'm leaving, turning off and getting onto like Lima Road or whatever. And cop pulls me over this and that. Cool cop, whatever, this and that. And, you know, shooting the crap with him. And afterwards, he's like, oh, what do you do? I'm a psychic medium, this and that. And all that. So after he comes back, he gets.
Starting point is 02:18:28 he gives me a ticket he goes Did you see that coming? That would be a Whittier police officer You should have been like No but I do smell bacon Oh my dad
Starting point is 02:18:38 That's terrible six Oh
