Starting point is 00:00:00 Angie, what's going on, Angelica? The Santa Ana wins are back. And they're the whistling kind. You know what? I noticed him this morning when I got out of the car. I'm like, what is this? Did I really bring up? Did I really bring him movie?
Starting point is 00:00:14 Yeah. The Santa Ana winds blew in. Well, it's getting bad and we're about to have a lot of Santa Ana wins that are flying through our neighborhoods. You felt it, Greg? Leti, last night at my softball game, there was little tornadoes on the field. No way. Yes. Like the dirt was going everywhere.
Starting point is 00:00:28 That's why we lost. Taz was there. What? Are you saying the win was like blowing the like the ball home run that you were about to hit a home run? Right. And the win threw it back. Oh, I thought it would help you. It didn't help you run faster until like first.
Starting point is 00:00:41 Nope, exactly. We lost the game by like 10, but it's fine, you know. It was the wins. It was the win. It was a lot. Whenever you don't win, you blame it on the wins. Exactly. All right.
Starting point is 00:00:51 I think that's, I think we talked about that last time. You know how like if you're late, blame it on Mercury when it's a retrograde. Yeah. If you kind of like veer on a lane, blame it on the sand and wins. You're like, I wasn't on my phone. Yeah. It was dead ass. It was them.
Starting point is 00:01:03 Yeah. All right. Well, Soka Edison is now saying that because of the sand and a wind's going so hard. And like what we saw last time when we're like, this is a crazy fire hazard because if something were to like turn up on fire in these mountains or whatever, the wind's just going to blow it and just make it 10 times faster, more than 10 times faster probably. And it's not good for the well being just of nature and everybody around. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:01:27 But now they're saying in order to reduce. fire risk. They are also thinking about shutting down power, okay? Thousands of Soka homes are at fire risk. So thousands of them may also be at risk of getting their fire, their electricity turned off. And that sucks. You know what's crazy, Liti, is that last year,
Starting point is 00:01:47 the past two years, actually, my aunt wanted to host Thanksgiving, and we had to change it to my house last minute because they shut off her power because of the Sanana wins. You're lying. I swear to God, because she lives in, like, the, new homes on Winchester and it's against a mountain. So they catch on fire
Starting point is 00:02:03 all those houses. It's over. It's over. And the winds are just going to expedite that. Like, it's going to be super fast shipping of freaking fire. That's crazy. I bet the real estate agent doesn't say that. No. You're selling the home. Yeah, we might shut off your power
Starting point is 00:02:17 everyone's in a while, but you know, whatever. Everything's giving for the past two years. Okay, Iren, what happens to the food? What happens to everything? Like, what happens? Do you guys? Is that when you carry the pot of the posolet? No, for that. Thank God.
Starting point is 00:02:30 We only live like 10 minutes from her. So like every time it's happened, like she'll call my mom and be like, you guys need to come pick up the food. What refrigerator do you give her? Well, no, we have all the fridges. Oh, yeah, you have like 10 fridges in your house. I have eight. God.
Starting point is 00:02:45 Right, Greg. So So Cal Edison is saying, L.A., Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, and Ventura counties. That's all of us. Please be warned that maybe, just likely, because of these San Ana wins, your power might turn off. So if you go and you like go for the, try to click open the, your lights. Yeah, it might not work. Wow.
Starting point is 00:03:06 Well, that's kind of dangerous too because you could get stuck in your garage. Oh, yeah. You have an automatic garage. No, you have a door to get in there. I was about to agree with you. The car. No, but there should be. Oh, the car can get stuck.
Starting point is 00:03:17 Emergency latch. Yeah, there's a red. It's a red, it's a red stream. You have the pull it, yeah. Oh, okay. He's like, I'm not doing that. I don't have. He's had a remote control for life.
Starting point is 00:03:25 I'm like, hold on. My dad's has doesn't have that. That might be a fire hazard. That definitely is a fire. The permits need to be checked. Yeah. Hold on. Sure.
Starting point is 00:03:33 He has it. You just don't know. I don't think so. What's the first thing, Vic, that you notice when the lights are off? Because to me, it's like, it could be nighttime. Sometimes the lights go off, like, electricity goes off midnight, like 2 a.m. or something. But I know on the TV has this little red dot and it's off.
Starting point is 00:03:48 Or you go in, like the kitchen lights, I always have the kitchen lights on. Yeah. They're all off. I'm like, oh, yeah, there's some, like, it's Edison or it's a ghost. Yeah. Edison is turned off. I have like the ghost. LED lights behind my TV.
Starting point is 00:03:59 So it's like if those are off, then it's like. Something's up. Yeah. My stove at the time, it turns into zero, zero and I know it went out. That's scary,
Starting point is 00:04:07 Maximo. No, that happens. It turns it to zero. It just doesn't turn off? No, no. It like resets. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:13 When it shuts down, it goes black and then when it comes back, it turns back at zero zero zero zero. That's when I know that something happened. You got a digital stove? And I'm not going to lie. Like, I live in the older apartment.
Starting point is 00:04:26 Communities. So when it's windy. sometimes the switch outside goes down I have to go downstairs and turn it on again. What I'm surprised is that so there's still fires going on during this time? You haven't seen the news?
Starting point is 00:04:38 No, I feel like it's... Well, the freaking fire in the hangar over there. Oh, you're right. Yeah, but that's less likely for the Santa Ana wins. The last time there was Santa Ana wins, there was like some fires out here. I think we went hiking.
Starting point is 00:04:49 Remember we saw fire, Greg? I think I remember that's your... That's the smoke that we saw. Oh, yeah. No, I honestly thought like fire. No, I really thought fire season was over, like, oh, summer's over. I thought fire season was over. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:03 Put it back. Yeah. All right. I think what happens, Angie, is that sometimes the winds, like, knocked down the electricity poles. Oh, that's how, yeah. You're right, you're right. All right. So get ready for these wins.
Starting point is 00:05:14 Yeah. You're supposed to be around by the wind. Get ready for the wistledy winds. Those scare me. Me too. My head's under the pillow for sure. Yeah. Oh, really?
Starting point is 00:05:22 Yay. You know what I think? I'm like, when it's windy, I don't even want to do my hair because your hair's going to be everywhere right on your base it's like just put it up wow is that way yeah yeah don't judge me yeah shut up is it windy every day I know you're fine you're from Santa Ana you are the Santa Ana you are the San Anna you're like storm in X-Men you got a different forecast than I do yeah look keep it here because on the way we have Simper Pimp Maxi Wolls gonna tell you the story and it might inspire you to create your boyfriend or girlfriend whatever you want
Starting point is 00:05:54 the perfect one the perfect one exists the perfect one Oh, all right. Simp or Pimp. BIMP, Zip, Sip, Sip, Sip, Sip, Sip, Sip, Sip, Sip, Sip, Sip. Good job, Vic. You're on point. I was trying. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:12 Well, TikTok is showing you how to create a partner. And there's a video going viral about a girl who is using AI to make her boyfriend jealous. What? Her boyfriend? Her ex-boyfriend. Oh, okay. Her ex-boyfriend jealous. And I'm gonna let her explain it and I'll fill you in.
Starting point is 00:06:35 My ex moved on so I had to soft launch a BF fast. It's very cinematic. Are you to the Caribbean? Yeah. I feel like somebody's gonna swing in a-in-how. Yeah, so what you can do on AI is that you can type in anything you want to create anything you want. Yeah. generate whatever you want so if I say I want the cat on my shoulder it'll put a cat on my
Starting point is 00:07:06 shoulder and I could detail it to every detail where it's like furry cat black cat if you upload like in the programs that's AI for photo editing yes so she used Photoshop yeah not like GPT yeah it's not it's not a Photoshop it's like a form of AI that is no because Photoshop has the AI feature like you'll just grab put a drag a picture and then you can start using AI and you type in what you want. Dude, even FaceTune has an AI feature. Yeah. So what she's using Lettie is like more of a FaceTune type of.
Starting point is 00:07:40 Yeah, I think she's using a FaceTune app or like Angie said she's using a Photoshop and then you add like the little whatever. The little details you want. Yeah. So then she was adding like guy on my shoulder and she would change the dude how his hair. Wow. And what she did is she cropped it in to make it seem like, you know, like those dinner picks when you only show
Starting point is 00:08:02 the hands. She propped it in. It's just a little bit of his head the soft lunch to make her ex-jalous. Maximo, you know what's the best part about this? She's out there alone doing this. Yes. She's doing AI alone at a restaurant.
Starting point is 00:08:18 So she's sitting there instead of enjoying her food, she's putting an arm that doesn't exist. That is really sad. And she showed, first she showed someone on his shoulder and then after she took a solo photo of her arm I love that photo when I see couples doing it,
Starting point is 00:08:33 but knowing that now you can AI and fake that someone's holding your hand, you don't know what to believe. If you see me at a birthday dinner this weekend when somebody... Shut, you can love, Iirene. Hey, Vic and Greg, you get AI someone with a huge BBL
Starting point is 00:08:47 and you're going to make them real jealous. Type BBL into AI, see what a difference. Let's try this right now. Start generating the size you want, you know what I mean? Oh my God. Hold on. What's funny is, like, I've seen this video, and you guys can watch it too, Brown by Mornings 106 on Instagram.
Starting point is 00:09:04 I've seen this video, and it's trippy to me that, like, you, she has to keep retyping it in because loki AI is not at the best. It's, no, like, period. So, like, three fingers will show up in one of the hands, or it'll be, like, a, like, it will be, like, all crooked and ugly and weird, like, loki, like, one of the hands look like gumby, like, very old school.
Starting point is 00:09:23 And some of the people, even their faces were a little weird. Yeah, I just that. And it's low-key scary. And then it's like, you're going to post that. That's weird. I feel like that can backfire severely, especially since she posted it. Yeah. Because it's like also, like if you know that, like Greg said, like she's alone, doing all this,
Starting point is 00:09:42 she's not moving on. She's not having a good time. And then the guy that she like, AIs has three fingers like he's goncho. You know, like, then it's like, I'm not going to feel jealous at all. Oh, he only had two? Yeah. Oh, yeah. Come on.
Starting point is 00:09:55 Ring, wing, bring. All right. Well, my bad. You say that until you pulls a trigger with one of the fingers. Oh, no. And I actually learn to use AI and like the more detail you give, the better your outcome's going to be. Yeah. If you, like, detail every little aspect of what you want, like, one hair, round head.
Starting point is 00:10:13 Like, you got to really go into it for it to generate what you want. Yeah. If you just put, like, a man, then it just generate some random. And then even with AI on Photoshop, at least, it'll give you three options. Oh, that's so tight. Right off the bat. And then the more details you keep. adding the more options it'll give you.
Starting point is 00:10:29 Even AI knows girls have three options. You see that? Even AI knows girls have three options. The backup to the back. Anyone that uses Photoshop knows. Jose, you've used AI on Photoshop. I know. You know exactly what I'm talking about.
Starting point is 00:10:45 It gives you, like... That's a girl thing for sure. Here's a real. Exactly. When I use Photoshop, I only get one option. Didn't you use AI to Photoshop? I don't change that option. I don't change that option.
Starting point is 00:10:58 Stay loyal to the option I have. It's okay. You guys are just a little lighting. He doesn't do his job. So, of course, he's not using Photoshop. Of course he's not doing actual work. Okay. But I see where you're doing it.
Starting point is 00:11:09 You're being meticulous. I've actually seen... I've actually seen the dope part of Photoshop where, like, they use it to fill in space. Like, I get why the AI exists. Yeah, and that makes it so much easier. And it looks so cool when it's used right. Like, I understand, like, why they have them in these programs.
Starting point is 00:11:23 They don't have them to fool the world. They literally have them, like, if you're... Let's say you're in a beautiful, but you're up against like something that like the back wall looks like grungy or not right like they'll fix it like it's so tight it's beautiful but then you see people use it for this yeah for something else for creating evil evil partners and i think it's better than what people used to do because i've seen a dude literally pretend like he's dating someone but he's going on Pinterest and like grabbing photos that's because you can those quote unquote soft launches they're meant to not show people like so he would legit soft launch or like post like dinners that you know he wasn't at like his hand always had like a cool watch and I'm like bro I know you like you don't even have like a folex
Starting point is 00:12:06 you do not have like this crazy watch For those that don't know with soft lunches Do you want me to explain it much? Do you want me to explain it much? I could explain soft launching because I've done it a couple times Not gonna lie It's when you post somebody but you don't post them fully so you post like an arm or a leg
Starting point is 00:12:20 And you post the dinner And you could see like the tattoos I see Vicks arms in a lot of soft lunch photos So they don't know if they're Are they still up? They don't know. They're fully committed to you yet, so they're not going to fully post you.
Starting point is 00:12:34 Yeah. It leaves room for, like, mystery. I love watching Go soft lunch. You got to let you guys know, like, hey, look, there's somebody in line. There's somebody at next.
Starting point is 00:12:42 What you're going to do to step it up? And now we know it's AI, and it's been AI. Yep, exactly. It's not always AI. No, I don't think the girls know how to use that one yet. I think that girl specifically knew how to use that. Yeah, I don't know the girls that,
Starting point is 00:12:52 like, Vicksies that Ojos locoes, know how to use that. Like, not yet. Okay, but like let's say like there's a photo of me floating around with like somebody. Can I say that's AI? You can, sure. Yeah. But we know your history. Yeah, but we wouldn't believe you of you.
Starting point is 00:13:07 Generate. Rosecrans Vic. It's like he has all his fingers. So we're fine. It's real. Two fingers. Me with three fingers. What the saddest part of this whole thing is too, because she's doing it.
Starting point is 00:13:20 At least she said that she did it because her ex got a new girl. So she decided to soft launch an AI boy. friend is that she's soft launching to the like everyone that follows her so that means you're like everyone's going to hit you up about this fake person right so you're not just like showing out for your ex like your mom's going to hit you your tias your cousins your homegirls or co-workers and you literally have to lie about a fake boyfriend what's that yeah what's that one football player oh man tied tail like you're gonna people are going to be like is it even real like no one's going to believe yourself Bring him to
Starting point is 00:13:56 It's just a sad life That's a very sims sad life For sure They're gonna ask her like So what's his name? She's gonna be like Mm hmm Her name Jeff
Starting point is 00:14:03 Yeah Her Bobby Bring him the Friendsgiving Yeah Oh He doesn't exist He doesn't exist He was busy
Starting point is 00:14:11 He was busy I think it's pretty clear She's a simp right Yeah Super sim 100% Super sims Super lonely
Starting point is 00:14:18 Oh absolutely She's not She's not beating The Simp allegations But what if that guy Treats her better The AI guy They probably will.
Starting point is 00:14:26 Sim. Sim! Sim! Sim! Sim! Sip! Sip! With the homies.
Starting point is 00:14:33 So what's up, Voximo? People are losing their minds. Oh, I knew that. A lady on social media went on her hand. And, you know, I think everyone who has a kid, they do anything for their kid. You know, we go all out. You know, we battle, whatever battle we got to fight. But this lady, she's losing her mind.
Starting point is 00:14:54 Listen. What? She's losing her mind. My son does identify as a cat, but I cannot take him to a vet because I tried that. And the veterinarian told me that because he has human anatomy, that he does not know how to work on him or diagnose him with anything. And he legally cannot. And while I do think that is a form of discrimination, because, you know, my son, if he says he's a cat, he is a cat.
Starting point is 00:15:21 Is she serious? Oh, wow. She is serious. Or is she trying to teach her son like a lesson? Like, come up. No, she was serious. One thing to, like, support his imagination. And it's another thing to also join the delusion.
Starting point is 00:15:33 I think, wow. I think, like, I'm all for, like, progressiveness and all that stuff. But it's also okay to tell your kid, shut up. Once in a while. When they say, I identify as a cat. You know what I'm saying? It's like those kids that go through those phases where they think they're dogs. Right.
Starting point is 00:15:49 But, like, you don't take them to the vet. Like, if something's wrong with it, you know. Or make the kid. going to a kitty litter until he figures it out like oh okay this is annoying dang you want to be a cat huh he won't get a cat eat this cat food be an alley cat how about that be a stray jump out that window but yeah she and the funniest thing is that she even try to like make it seem like she had leverage against the vets like she could sue like she could sue listen i'm not going to press charges because i
Starting point is 00:16:23 know that he could lose his license if I if he did work on my son but this is something that I want to raise awareness on because I do think that people that identify as an animal should be able to go to the vet all right this is crazy yeah what um imagine pulling up to the bed how old is her son it didn't say oh okay yeah but uh I just imagine like her pulling up is like her son in uh in like a Kendall or like Oh The kitty bags That's crazy
Starting point is 00:16:57 Does you have a tag With the name This name Can I guess her skin tone Oh I don't know can you Can you? The same as yours
Starting point is 00:17:06 Oh Hey Uncalled for There's a mirror right there Yeah Yeah People are losing their minds And I feel like it's happening
Starting point is 00:17:15 More and more That's crazy I got a question For all three of you Leti Maximo and Vic Yeah Is this what it's like To have a kid
Starting point is 00:17:22 your kid just wakes up and is like, I'm a cat today. Yeah. Yeah. But you don't like subscribe to it. Yeah. Like you can subscribe. Like we're playing pretend. Like yes, you're a cat.
Starting point is 00:17:31 Yeah. Like which cat are you? Cat in the hat. Like what, what's going on? But like you're not trying to be like, all right, you're a cat. Let's go to Petco. Let's take you to the vet. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:42 You don't take it a step further. That's definitely in her. Yeah. It's all like imagination and stuff. Like, you dad, like let's go on a rocket ship today. I don't know. Okay, cool. Like we're doing all that.
Starting point is 00:17:52 But then it's like we're not going to actually go to the space station. True. You do go to space station. It would feel true. Yeah, but I just keep thinking of Toko, like the man that wanted to become a dog and he went through it. That's what I'm thinking. Like maybe we're truly believe it. That's not wanting to know how old he is.
Starting point is 00:18:10 Yeah. Yeah. So it could be a thing. I mean, it is a thing. It really is a thing because last month I covered how these group of people met up because they all identified as dogs. and there's hanging out barking. So it's not just little kids. It's not little kids,
Starting point is 00:18:25 but I think someone needs to put a stop to this. Yes. I wonder if he just wants, just don't want to go to school. I'm a cat. I'm a cat. If so, that'll be pretty clever. What I'm a cat is like,
Starting point is 00:18:37 if she didn't even want to do it, but she wants to be like TikTok popular or wherever this is popular. Yeah. And she's just, because there are parents that will use like, oh, yeah, my kid's really sick to get some type of sympathy.
Starting point is 00:18:50 Oh, my kid's this, to get views like because clearly we're talking about her yeah i would have never talked about this woman in my life had she not had a kid that she wants to take to the vet yeah it's crazy do you warm your kid or what what's the what's up he has fleas and shampoo for that oh just don't let him get into the cat nip oh just don't let him get into the cat nip she should get a dog to see how the kid reacts Cats and dogs Or get a rat
Starting point is 00:19:21 Test his gangsta Yeah Your first go-to shouldn't be Let me take you to the vet Yeah Yeah it's not a field trip I feel like he's like a field trip To buy my mouse and see if he chases it
Starting point is 00:19:30 Yeah There should be a lot of other stuff before that A laser pointer See how much of a cat you are But yeah that was scrolling with the homies Check out the video Brown Bag Mornings 106 on our Instagram You gotta see it for yourself
Starting point is 00:19:45 I'm also gonna look for how old her kid is because does she even have a kid? Yeah. Delusion to the delusion? Is an AI child, an AI cat child? Word on Rosecrans. Word on Rosecrans. DJ Khalid says he wants to work with Tyler the Creator one day.
Starting point is 00:20:02 Aw. I guess Tyler's music is no longer mysterious to him. What do you mean by that? So as some of you may remember, the two once went head to head. They dropped projects on the same day a couple years ago. Tiger's Iigore album, Igor. Igor album went. Tiger.
Starting point is 00:20:16 Tiger. Tiger. Oh, yeah. It's okay. You sound like the radio. Igor album went number one. Yes. And Khalid's father of Assad album went number two.
Starting point is 00:20:23 Yeah. Then Khalid had some subliminal words for Tyler. All right, listen to this. I make albums so people can play it and you actually hear it. You know, driving a car, you hear another car playing it. You know, go to the barbershop. You can hear them playing it. You know, turn the radio on and you hear them playing it.
Starting point is 00:20:40 You know, it's playing everywhere. It's called great music. It's called albums that you actually hear the song. songs. Not no mysterious. We never hear it like that. He's so mad. He was so mad.
Starting point is 00:20:54 He was saying that when, like, because. So the results. How do we know that he was talking about Tyler? So the results came in. He was in the back of his Mayback. And he was just talking about how his album dropped. And he's just like, yeah, you know, but my albums, you know, they're meant to be played outside.
Starting point is 00:21:10 You actually hear them when you go outside. And it was the timing. He didn't want to say Tyler. He didn't want to seem like a hater, but everybody knew. He was like, this is the first time that he went number two dropping an album. When he dropped an album. He, as opposed to, like, prior. For second place, he was singing really mad.
Starting point is 00:21:25 Yeah. For this guy that's, like, doing all this stuff for other reasons. Literally. And that was a part of Tyler's point. So he actually clapped back and spoke about what Callet had to say, listen to this. He wasn't wrong. Like, I'm not in the barbershop. I'm not at the club.
Starting point is 00:21:41 I'm not in the diddy, ditty, skitties. I'm not in the back of the maid bag. let that number one speak. Ego had to deal with that because his whole identity is being number one. When he didn't get that, that sat with him longer in real lifetime than that moment. I moved on.
Starting point is 00:21:58 I wouldn't do some shows. We went to London. Cool. Didn't think about it. Yeah. And you know if he, if Tyler had been number two, three, four, five, six, he would have still been okay with it. Yeah. Yeah. Yep. And that was Tyler's like first number one. So he was happy about it and everything. But it was just like, yeah, he had
Starting point is 00:22:15 a point. Like a lot of that is like, we the best. I'm number one. And it's like when that doesn't happen, it goes against his whole marketing plan, you know. But, you know, time is past. And they actually ran into each other at a Rock Nation brunch and they spoke. And Callet just did an interview with Rolling Stone. And he said he'd like to work with Tyler, who they, and they said they have a good rapport together, right?
Starting point is 00:22:36 They chopped it up at the Rock Nation brunch and, you know, things are all good. And I don't know if I could imagine a collab with them, though. Oh, so he said that they just, they hung out or like. Yeah, like they seen each other. They chopped it up and like now they're cool And he'd be open to working with them Oh okay okay okay I can see it happen
Starting point is 00:22:53 Yeah Yeah I get some radio play in You know? Yeah I see it You can't beat them, join them right? I want to imagine it but you know So let's let's just imagine that it happened
Starting point is 00:23:03 DJ Charlie I thought this was not gonna sound good How do you said that? Bless up Major kill Real life they don't want to see us win we the best
Starting point is 00:23:23 another one I could actually hear that like... Oh I thought I was going to hear Tyler rapping Yeah like I thought it could start This is like the intro to one of his songs It's legit It's crazy I just pulled a bunch of like Callet and I put it on top and it fit perfectly
Starting point is 00:23:42 If it's over anything you put over classical music It's gonna fit It sounded great But I think the the mix would be If Tyler can rap over it Or like what Tyler's gonna rap over What samples are you're saying that Tyler's going to produce for Khalid, which I don't think it's going to be the issue. No, I mean, I think it would be like similar to like the DJ drama thing that Tyler and.
Starting point is 00:24:02 Yeah, and it's going to be tight. Tyler is a hip hop head. Yeah, Tyler Carrap on. He's the thing too about Tyler is like he just so happens to be an artist that gets that type of niche play. But he can make, like he does make songs that can play on the radio. Like to me, that's why it's so weird. It's like he's out here doing music in another language or it's hitting with different sonics. his sound sounds like hip hop
Starting point is 00:24:23 Right because it's developed If it was like the old Tyler On future Tyler Then they'd be like I don't know how to make sense It was still tight I think when Catlin made those comments He probably hadn't even listened to him
Starting point is 00:24:34 To be honest You know to him to just say It's mysterious because it was mysterious to him You know what I'm saying And he hadn't really gone through To realize how musical Tyler is And also how good he is a rabbit He's a beef
Starting point is 00:24:47 Absolutely Yeah but speaking of squash beef I don't think this one is gonna have the same outcome, okay? Rick Ross says he doubts he's dropping the beef with 50 anytime soon, okay? Rick Ross and Meek Mill, they have an album dropping this Friday, too good to be true, and they've been doing a bunch of joint interviews together, and they were asked about, you know, how Meek and Drake squashed their beef, and, you know, they have a song on this album together
Starting point is 00:25:09 actually coming out with all three of them. But then Ross was asked if him and 50 could squash their beef like Meek and Drake did, and he said this. I doubt it. Dang. That's when you're better than your big homie. Like you learn from your big homies instead. Because that would be so tight if they were not beefing anymore.
Starting point is 00:25:30 Rick Ross and 50. Their beef goes back a long time. You could tell that it's for real. You could tell that it's some street stuff involved. You could tell that it's personal. Yeah. And the Drake and Meek stuff is personal too. And there was stuff involved in that sense.
Starting point is 00:25:43 But I think that there would just come from the time where like, if I don't mess with you, I don't mess with you. Yeah. Ross having has an album called God forgives. I don't. I don't. He's standing on business. And he couldn't resist to throw more shade at 50.
Starting point is 00:25:56 And he said 50's not even rich. All right, listen to this. And I was like, yo. 50 cent and Ross ever going. They're getting so rich. Well, Raw is getting so rich. Yeah, yeah. I'm about to say, I don't know his business.
Starting point is 00:26:06 No, no, he's not. Raw's getting some rich. I don't even think that's a smart investment. No, no. To beef with anyone. Right. Respectfully to, I ain't got no smoke. And I ain't got no jobs for him or nothing.
Starting point is 00:26:19 You're not hired. Dang. I don't need a job. I'm sure you. Yeah, he definitely don't need a job. Yeah. 50 is fine. Shout out Ross because you're a boss, but
Starting point is 00:26:28 Tampocco. He's just kept saying, he's not, he's not rich. He's not rich. Like, we've seen, like, his portfolio, like, happen in live time. Like, we've seen the artist that 50 said his sign like an M&M and then just trickles down from there. The TV deals.
Starting point is 00:26:42 The TV deals we've seen. We do with vitamin water, the shoes, the shirt. And, like, and granted, that may be some time ago. Investments take a long time. You think of like what they're going to get in royalties for the power and all that stuff. That keeps replaying and just people keep streaming. Like, he's good. He just dropped an alcohol line too.
Starting point is 00:27:00 Yes. He's good. He's touring. But according to cross. But I get it. If you're beefing, he's look at him eating chicken like or look at that. Once you hate somebody, there's that whole vine or the whole TikTok. If I hate how you eat chicken.
Starting point is 00:27:15 I hate how you breathe. I hate how you dress. It's just regular dress. Regular, regular, everything. He wants to believe what he wants to believe, that he's broke and he doesn't have no money. He needs a job. Yeah, all this stuff. He doesn't.
Starting point is 00:27:27 That's true. Exactly. All right, that was your word on Rose Cranes. I'm Rose Cranz. I'm Rose Cranz. I'm Rose Cranz for Brownback Mornings. What's up? This is Be Real from Cypress Hill.
Starting point is 00:27:36 Where are you from, Es? Don't you know I'm local? All right. Everything is expensive, especially with the holidays coming up. I know people are starting their Christmas shopping earlier because they don't want to, like, they just want to make sure they have money for the people that's on their list, right? Yeah. But what is better than free?
Starting point is 00:27:53 Nothing. Nothing at all. Getting paid. True. There's actually free days in November where you can visit a museum for the free. You don't have to pay anything. And these are amazing museums. For example, the Skirball Cultural Center 11-9, that is tomorrow.
Starting point is 00:28:11 It's going to be free. A lot of these are going to be free tomorrow. Museum of Latin American Art. Also is going to be free this coming weekend. The Archie Museum of the American West. So that's a Ginocham museum. Boom. It's going to be free this weekend as well.
Starting point is 00:28:24 And shout out to Descanso Gardens. Not a museum, but maybe it might be because it's plants. Discancer Garden? Yeah. It's over by, in this SGV, beautiful, beautiful gardens. But you can walk around one, maybe take a date. Maybe go by yourself. I was about to say I'm about to make some text messages right now.
Starting point is 00:28:38 Oh, my God. What do you do later? I want to take you out. I want to take you out to this very expensive place. Exactly. When I think of museums, not going to lie. I think boring, right? Born?
Starting point is 00:28:49 Boring. Oh, boring. Jesus Christ, what are you thinking about? Gregory. Born with a bee. Boring. I think boring. Not born or anything that rhymes with it.
Starting point is 00:29:03 What's your category? A quiet place. All right, anyway. But people do go on dates and museums. That is a thing. Mature people. Now knowing that it's free, I'm like, oh, I get it. Because here you are looking at all this fine art.
Starting point is 00:29:18 And it's like, wow, this person, they're smart. This person has taste. Oh, yeah. Already you've up your level. Sophisticated. Yes. Oh, you've never been to the La Brea Tarpet? Let me too.
Starting point is 00:29:28 Oh, yeah. Let's go take a walk over there. Gettie Center for sure vibes. Getty, yes. That's like slam dunk right there. By PCH. PCH. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:40 There's a Gettie up there by the beach. I think that's the Gettie. No, there's two. There's two. There's two. How many Gettys are there? Yeah. I thought it was only.
Starting point is 00:29:48 Shut up. Just because you know where they're at? Yeah. It's because they're free. That's why he knows. Gamsimo. I don't know the free days. I only go when I pay.
Starting point is 00:29:58 Not like that one of my first dates with Hore was at a museum of like neon signs. Random. Check the date. It's on brand. What? I said check the date. Maybe it was free.
Starting point is 00:30:11 It was free. But when we went, I was like, wow, this is cool. It's just neon signs. Just different signs that say open now. Oh. And then I got open. No. Wow.
Starting point is 00:30:22 All right. The museum is, where I guess or no. Because I know a museum's more of like a, how would I say? Like field trip. Like went to the Gene Archer Museum. Learn about like Native American history. It was like super cool. But I'm like, dude, I don't think like a date walking through here would be tight.
Starting point is 00:30:37 All right, Lettie. What you do is you take them to this museum, right? Which museum? Let's say you're at an art museum. You seem like a MoMA kind of guy. And you're standing. Or a Lackama kind of guy. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:46 You're looking at. You look at the art and you're like, you know what? I can see the creativity in this. And I see you when I see this as well. You know, I'm looking at you. Oh my. And you're a fine piece of art. That's a picture of a cast.
Starting point is 00:30:57 Exactly. Greg is trying to take them from the MoMA to the MoMA. And then you ask them like, hey, what do you see in this? And you get their response? You. I see you. Exactly. That's what you expect.
Starting point is 00:31:10 Maxy. Oh, God. I don't know what that word. Please someone help him. Take them out of the same. Like a 40 or 40 plus. That might work. Yeah, his Cougar dates for sure.
Starting point is 00:31:18 Cougar date works. I don't know. You have to have a coffee in your hand, so it seems like you're smarter to. I don't know if a 27-year-old is going to go for that good. That's too much knowledge for them. Yeah. I'm not going to lie. I went to, uh, when I was in Miami, I went to art basil.
Starting point is 00:31:30 Oh, that's vibe. That's cool, though. I went to the thing. And I would just stand. In front of the art. In front of the art. And I tell my homie, I'd be like, hey, take pictures of me. Yeah, exactly.
Starting point is 00:31:40 And I just stand there and I act sophisticated. Look at me. I'm observing. And then no lie, I was like, 30 minutes in, I was like, all right, I'm bored. All right, let's go. All these things are the same. Yeah. And then all the reading, the little, like, on the side where you could read about the things.
Starting point is 00:31:54 Yeah, that's too little. Like, what's the thing? Yeah. It does get like, all right, bro, like, two sentences. This paragraph I'm not reading. Have you ever been to, like, a weird museum? And I say that because this might not be weird, but it was weird to me. The forest lawn has a museum inside.
Starting point is 00:32:08 Like, so my grandmother is in a mausoleum. She's, like, been cremated. She's like now in a like where they have all the people that have been cremated, right? So it's a wall. But then they also have a museum at the cemetery. And I was like, that's so weird. Wow. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:22 And it has its own art. I think it has like one of the Michael pieces. Like, you know, the sculpture. Wow. Yeah, unless they just have like a replica or whatever, which might be also possible. But I'm like, this is a very weird place for a museum. It is. Very odd place for museum.
Starting point is 00:32:36 And Whittier, there was like a juvenile correctional facility that they turned into housing. And there's a museum in the middle of it. as well. Really? We're passing by it like, what is this? And it's like a whole museum of what the land used to be.
Starting point is 00:32:49 It's kind of creepy. Anything can really be a museum. Brand park, it's a brand library. There's a museum in the, like, brand park area because the brand family, I don't know who those schools are,
Starting point is 00:32:58 but they were really, really rich. That used to be their house. And then it turns to a whole park with the library and crazy. But I'm like, oh, okay, this is cool.
Starting point is 00:33:04 So if you're rich enough, you can just make a museum. All this time I thought, like the museum is just like, like literally about history. That's true because I took Emmy and the kids to a park to do a Halloween photo shoot last year.
Starting point is 00:33:14 And there was a big, like, beautiful house in the middle of this park and then walked over and it was a museum. It was a museum. And I was like, all right, let's go. We're already here. You're literally just learning about someone's house or someone's life. Look at the teacups. If you had a museum, what is in your museum?
Starting point is 00:33:31 What's in your museum? Like, if someone's at your house, if anyone can have museums nowadays, I didn't know. I thought you had to qualify. Credit cards without my name. Definitely fitted hats for me. A bunch of fitted L.A. hats all different types of hats this had i worked with yeah this one this girl yeah yeah this has her initial on it yeah this has oh i could have a whole collection of shirt with makeup stains
Starting point is 00:33:53 on like the right arm yeah it would work for you the right right yeah they always are on my shoulder i'm like damn makeup stain again yes it's like powder yeah that guilty that's end to her exhibition uh because makeup like your color is like different like there's c5 or like like Like, art, it's by, I don't know. N is neutral, C is cool. Yeah. It's a whole art like the museum, you know. Yes, exactly.
Starting point is 00:34:22 Ooh, you have like a whole paint based on the girls' foundations. Like a whole painting. Like a palette? With the girls' foundation. Actually, that would be really cool. That would be cool. That's cool. That's cool.
Starting point is 00:34:32 Yeah. All right. Maximo, I know yours would be like definitely a gallery. Yeah, I think gallery of photos that I never shared with anybody, which is thousands of them. Facts. A lot of credit cards with different people's names. It's Maximo doing the post like two o'clock in the bathtub. I can recreate all the hip-offs up.
Starting point is 00:34:50 Oh, Maximo recreating the Chris Bosch moment when he's putting a little. You're crazy. If I recreate all these cool images, I should do that. But all with the Edgar cut. I love it. You want the Edgar cut. You need to break up. Clean sleep, cut it.
Starting point is 00:35:05 Good time. All right, look. We also have some shoutouts. Who is shouting at Irene. We have Natalie Monique who wanted us to shout out her daughter. Liana who's listening to us on the way to school. Hi! How are you getting in school?
Starting point is 00:35:16 Joad Rodriguez, tuning in from Dallas, Texas. Wow. Shout out to Dallas. Are they two hours now ahead or three hours? Because we went. True. I don't know. That's a good question.
Starting point is 00:35:26 You just confused me. I know because some states don't do the day. And there was like two states. I think Arizona at some point, like they're on our same time and then at some point they're either an hour ahead. I need to look that up now. That is wild. It is.
Starting point is 00:35:40 Yeah, it's crazy. The sun just works different, different places as well. Somehow. Yeah, time and everything. And then happy belated to Danny Luna, Julianne Daniel, and Jaline. Oh, happy birthday. And then happy birthday to Rocky Martinez and Luis Correa.
Starting point is 00:35:55 Rocky Martinez, I wonder, were related. Who else we had a shot out? Rocky, that sound, that could be a boxer. He's probably named after Rocky. Yeah, yeah. I got a special shout out for my nephew, Nathan. It's his birthday. today.
Starting point is 00:36:11 So I was going to give a special shout-out. This weekend we're celebrating. We're going to Monster Jam. Wow. What is it? I love those. Monster trucks. Oh, that's so tight.
Starting point is 00:36:20 Is that like Irwindow? Sunday, Sunday. Sunday. So we're excited. The Monster Jam. Yeah, Monster Jam. Come in. Crash, boom, bow.
Starting point is 00:36:31 Oh, cocked. I was going to go. Do you ever been? No, I've gone. But I was kind of being a cheapscape with headphones. And I was like, yeah, I'll go in there. It's fine. I don't need to buy them.
Starting point is 00:36:40 It was so loud. My, like, hands were like, I didn't even know you could buy it. What the hell, that? Yeah. Like, your plugs, that's cheaper. Yeah, that's all that. Oh, okay. But, and it smells like metal.
Starting point is 00:36:53 It does. Yeah, because they're doing all the crazy stuff. One, they're crashing. They're burning. They're like, yeah, everything. You know how Grave digger gets. True. Oh, Greg Digger does.
Starting point is 00:37:06 Does he like that stuff or do you guys like that stuff? No, he likes it. Okay, that's right. So we're gonna have a good time. Max likes it. And Max is like, he called every day. He's like, I want to go with Nathan.
Starting point is 00:37:16 So it's gonna be a vibe, family vibes. Did Nathan go to Disneyland? Or how old is Nathan? Nathan, I'm going on. Did Nathan? No, they didn't go to Disney. That's another one of the primals. But he was there at the birthday.
Starting point is 00:37:28 You man. Okay, sorry, guys. We're just saying face today. Face his name. I'll show you. But yes, hi birthday, Nathan. Happy birthday, Nathan. Happy birthday, nice,
Starting point is 00:37:36 Happy birthday. Happy birthday. I also want to shout out. home girl, Ali, you are better than your baby daddy. All right. Ali has a son that I love. His name is Little Vic. Oh, Vic, you may know him.
Starting point is 00:37:49 That's your son too. Ali DM me an invitation to Little Vic's birthday. Wow. And was like, hey, Vic told me that you probably wouldn't come, but here you go. And so Vic already was like exing me out of his family stuff. But she did the best thing ever.
Starting point is 00:38:07 And she was like, you know what? I don't care. I'm not going to listen to Vic. which is a great idea to not listen to him. And then she sent me the invite. So thank you, Ali. I sent you guys all the invite in the group chat. Like a month ago.
Starting point is 00:38:17 Yes, I did. A month ago. Wrong group chat. No, I swear. He does that when he lies. I swear. That was like a month ago. Don't check right now.
Starting point is 00:38:28 Check after the show. It was as soon as I got it. I was like, let me send this before I forget. Okay, but she sent it to me. So I just wanted to. She personally sent it to me and said, I want you there. Yes. No, I want you there too.
Starting point is 00:38:38 You sure? I just told her. I was like, I don't know, it's also her birthday around that time. That's what I told her. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:38:45 See? Come on, I know. Shout out, Ellie. Yeah, she's better than me. I don't see it, but.
Starting point is 00:38:50 Oh. I mean, it's check on. Irene, we have a group chat without you. No. I was going to. Just kidding.
Starting point is 00:38:59 And this is a rumor through her. I'm just starting rumors. See, he's like, if I'm going to get in trouble, we're all going to get in trouble. I know. Turn it all down.
Starting point is 00:39:05 Turn it so quick. I know. Horrible. All right, this guy, Vic, he needs a new memory card for his brain. No, just kidding. You didn't send her. Just say you didn't send her.
Starting point is 00:39:19 I'm sure I did. I'm sure I did. I feel like maybe you mentioned it, but you didn't send a text. I remember you were mentioning it. Vic is pretending like he sent us an invite for his son's birthday. Am I kidding? Is this gaslight?
Starting point is 00:39:30 Yeah. Is this gaslight? No, no. Is this gaslight? Not, right? Gaslight isn't even a thing. I know. No.
Starting point is 00:39:36 All right. You're so annoyed. Thank you. All right. All right. All right. All right. To Maricio. He needs our help. He sent us a DM and he said, what's up y'all? My name is Mauricio and I'm stuck in a weird situation with two of my friends. Me, my homie Ray and Anna all grew up and hung out together since high school. After high school, Ray and Anna ended up dating for over a year. At first I tried telling them it was a bad idea since I knew if it didn't work out, I would be stuck in the middle. Well, here we are. And Friendsgiving is around the corner. I always host it. But now both of them are insinuating. They are coming.
Starting point is 00:40:08 but they're also not on good terms. They both also said that they don't want to be around each other and talk smack about each other whenever they hang out, which is annoying. Now I'm stuck having to deal with trying not to choose sides, but we've legit all known each other since forever. And they're also excited, they're both excited for Friendsgiving, which makes things even worse.
Starting point is 00:40:31 What do I do? You have the bomb thanks, thanks, Friendsgiving. Oh, the bombs. You can't even be like, I've known this. so longer. They've known, he's known them both at the same time.
Starting point is 00:40:41 Sheesh. Bro, you got to get COVID. Get COVID? Oh. He'd be like, bro, I can't do it for a kid. Funny story. Yo,
Starting point is 00:40:51 ultimate cheat code. You have to just, because that's going to be, I know what you're going to do. You're going to end up choosing one and then the other one's going to hate you forever. Yeah. I feel like most of the time
Starting point is 00:41:00 he's going to choose the homie. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And then poor Anna is going to be left out unless he got a little neighbor. right on the lokelet.
Starting point is 00:41:09 He doesn't have things. You could be friends without having the... For real. But see, this is why I don't hook up my guy homies with any girls I know. That's the first question. Like, hey, let me meet your friend or hey, let the hook up. I'm like, no. Because you're not going to work out, then I'm going to be stuck in the middle of both of you
Starting point is 00:41:27 knowing that you're out here being a maniac and then I have to deal with my baby girl. Like, no. Stop. You got some friends? No. Stop, right? Damn. I hear how you talk about the cougars.
Starting point is 00:41:37 your life dog i'm not gonna hook you with my homegirls but we gotta help this fool yes he's throwing up friendsgiving two of his besties since they were kids they were always invited they were always together all of that good stuff but they recently broke up i'm assuming they broke up in the past year um and they don't like each other they talk issue about each other they can't be around each other but they've also told him each individually bro i can't wait for your friendsgiving Hey, what's Friendsgiving? I can't wait. Maybe expecting him to choose
Starting point is 00:42:09 whichever one is talking at that time. Like, the girl probably thinks you're my homie. The guy probably thinks you're my homie. And he's probably kept the cool both of them. But now he doesn't want to know what to do with Friends Giving coming around. I think Ray and Anna still love each other. Oh, that's why they talk bad about each other?
Starting point is 00:42:25 Yes, exactly. You guys aren't. I think he's just having hopes that someone that hates him. That's someone that talks him. Yeah. I'll let Isha talk about you. It's love. You're not wrong.
Starting point is 00:42:38 All right, check this out, homie. You need a homie or need some help. We need your help. We need a line. I mean, phone line. We got you for the homie help line. Mauricio is stuck in a situation. Right in the middle where he didn't want to be.
Starting point is 00:42:54 And Friendsgivings around the corner, Ray and Anna, his childhood friends, they used to date, and now they don't. And Friendsgivings around the corner, they both want to come. He doesn't know what to. do they were like a group of three friends growing up they were the three best friends that anyone could ever have two of them started two of them started hooking up into relationship maricio no was gonna wasn't gonna work he already knew that's all the future and he's like and it's gonna be mad for me when it doesn't work and he's right yeah it's friendsgiving time he hosts it he probably has all the games probably yeah he's probably like super time his mom probably makes all the good food oh yeah
Starting point is 00:43:27 no if you're hosting friendsgiving it's got to be vibes yeah they have to have turkey there's something about his crib that is It's got to be at his house. He has a big TV. Nice table. Nice table. A big backyard. Nice dishes.
Starting point is 00:43:40 They don't just eat on the couches? Okay. But he's throwing Friendsgiving and both of his homies that are broken up have told him like, oh my God, I can't wait to see Friendsgiving. His homie. People love Friendsgiving. Friendsgiving is awesome. It is. It's the people actually, you choose to be your family.
Starting point is 00:43:55 Yeah. It's less stressful. Yeah. Except for our friend, Maricio. Because you doesn't know what to do now that both of them have expressed. how much they want to go to his friendsgiving, but also separately have expressed how much they can't stand the other one. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:44:08 So he's like, what do I do now? It's like, I hope Anna's not there. I can't wait, but I hope Anna's not there. Yeah. I would hate that. She's not my friend anymore. Yeah. I don't even know.
Starting point is 00:44:16 Yeah. I don't even know why he dated her. I can't give thanks to that. She's not my friends. Why are we going to be at Friendsgiving? Yep, exactly. She's so fake. Damn.
Starting point is 00:44:25 Bro. You're like, proposed her. Okay. Some situation. Irene. Who's on the line of Bovey girl? Letting we have Claudia from Long Beach on Line 5. Claudia.
Starting point is 00:44:34 Hi, good morning, y'all. Buenos Aires, baby girl. Claudia, how would you help Mauritia in this situation? Dude, I would love that situation. Why? Don't say you would love friends. Because that would be so entertaining to watch. She wants to be the referee.
Starting point is 00:44:52 I like to enjoy the plato. Yeah. That's funny. It's interesting. That's what makes a holiday. She has a point. Yeah, dude, that's what makes all of the, the family. The only drama worth it is that you can watch.
Starting point is 00:45:04 I see Claudia's vision. Yo, I see Claudia's vision. Totally so. It's like, yo, are there any more sides? Haven't you had enough, Ray? Yeah. You love sides. I know you love them sides.
Starting point is 00:45:16 I know you couldn't handle the main. You're as big as this turkey, so why don't you take the whole turkey? And he's like, I still got that stuffing. Yeah. This is great. You could love that stuff. Well, you can't have this pumpkin pie anymore. It sounds lit.
Starting point is 00:45:31 I want to see it. Claudia, you make a valid point, Claudia. You make a valid point, Claudia. But so is it kind of like, hey, you guys didn't listen to me? Now there's drama. Now I'm going to enjoy it. You should have listened to me in the first place. That's all.
Starting point is 00:45:46 They know that they shouldn't have mixed it up because the consequences are you might break up and you might fuck up the friend group. Hey. Hey, language. Both childhood friends, you have to invite both because then there's going to be more drama. And Friendsgiving, all your additional friends are going to know about. about, oh, I wasn't invited, or why was he invited?
Starting point is 00:46:05 You're going to break up the whole group. Oh, yeah. You don't want to do that. You don't want to do that. Hey, it's good for the plot, you guys. It's really good for the plot. Oh, great answer for everything. He's making a friend of me giving.
Starting point is 00:46:17 I can't wait. Might as well. That's a good idea. They should live stream it on Triller or something. That'd be cool. I'd be watching. I'd be watching. No, I'm siding on my family for that one.
Starting point is 00:46:29 Some stuff's going to go down my sister-in-law. I already know. Anyway, Irene, who else is online? Let me have Santiago from Long Beach Online 2. Sansi. Yeah, I'm with Claudia with that. Oh, Tronche is awesome. You're bringing popcorn to Thanksgiving.
Starting point is 00:46:47 What's up? It would be so stressful trying to decide which one to bring that I would just be like, you know what? Let them both come. And you know what? For me, it's going to be a dinner and a show. These are buds. Do you tell them? Hey, so-and-so's coming
Starting point is 00:47:02 Would I tell them? Do you wait until they get the surprise That they walk in and it's like, dun-d-d-dun-dun-dun. Honestly, if I was in his situation, I would be real about that. I would be like, listen, like, this is what it is.
Starting point is 00:47:12 Like, he's coming, he's coming, this is what it is. But I definitely want you guys to pull up, you know, and all this. And if they both come, then, hey, dinner in a show. Oh, my God. They're both going to come.
Starting point is 00:47:23 I don't know. They're going to come. They're going to come dress crazy. Watch now one's going to bring a date. Oh, yeah. It's going to be wild. One's going to work their AI boyfriend. One's going to pull up in an Uber black.
Starting point is 00:47:34 Yeah. You know, just they sent a car for me. So no one is saying don't bring them or Irene, what's going on on these phone lines? Everyone wants the drama. Yeah, yeah, they do. They want the drama. We have Selena from Riverside Online for. Selena.
Starting point is 00:47:48 Hello. Good morning. What's up, Selena? Good morning. Selena. Which Selena are you? Are you Selena Gomez or are you Kintania? Which one?
Starting point is 00:47:56 Pick one. Hurry now. That's tough. I can't take sides. Oh my gosh, it's Gomez. It's going to go. Oh, my gosh. All right.
Starting point is 00:48:05 I love them both. Oh, my gosh. Sure, sure. Which one were you named after, though? I don't know. My parents tried to say I wasn't named after Selena Kintania, but I don't know. I find that hard to leave. Same.
Starting point is 00:48:20 Same. Selena Gomez was named after Selena Kintania. Oh, wow. I don't know that. Well, let's get back to you, Selena. Come on the floor in your life. Okay. Friendsgiving is going on with this fool.
Starting point is 00:48:31 He doesn't know whether to invite his two friends that had just broke up. He's known them both since they were kids. Now it's Friendsgiving time and he doesn't know what to do. What would you tell him? So for one, they're both asking because they both know to expect each other on that same day and they both want to show up. Show out. Second of all, I kind of agree with the previous callers except for the show part
Starting point is 00:48:52 because if I'm taking my time to set up this Friendsgiving and you guys want to come trying to put on a show and not rest of. expect my time and my place, then you guys clearly aren't my friends, and you guys are there for each other. You guys could have met up somewhere out. Yeah. You guys could have duped it out, like...
Starting point is 00:49:08 Whoa. What? Duked it out? Well, yeah, like, fought it out. Like, you guys could have done that. Like, so in your own time, meet at a target parking lot, something. Get down like that.
Starting point is 00:49:17 Oh, that's domestic violence. I didn't mean like that. Verbaly. Like, throw stuff at each other, all of that, do that. Because it's my house. Guess who has to clean it up? Mauricio,
Starting point is 00:49:28 after they throw the same thing. stuff around. I'd like throw a chair. And you mean, Angie and Angie yesterday, went to home goods, right? Yeah, that was helpful. And I was like, Angie, I have to buy these things called like a dishwasher or like a washer or whatever.
Starting point is 00:49:39 That's not a washer. That's literally something that you put under a plate. It's weird. All of that. I'm like, I have to buy all of this for Thanksgiving. It's annoying. So I could only imagine doing all of that and then someone just throwing it in their fight.
Starting point is 00:49:50 Like not caring about all the stuff that I decorated. I didn't think about that part. Like the host? Yeah. They put all that work. Manis you're just making it back for yourself. That's a great point, Selena. Doing the consequences and that's on them.
Starting point is 00:50:03 They're all adults. Hey, so-and-so's coming. You know, you might see each other. Just letting you know if you want to come. Cool. If not, then that's that. Yeah. And then sit them at the kitty table.
Starting point is 00:50:13 Yeah, give them paper plates. Another thing about it, I've been through this. What happened? Like, one of my homies was dating, like, one of my home girls, and, like, we all knew each other before they dated. And it was like... Friendsgiving. Yes. And when Friendsgiving or parties would...
Starting point is 00:50:29 would happen, everyone would kind of walk on the eggshells, and then we'd be like, you know what? We're inviting both whoever decides to come comes, and someone always doesn't make it. It's on them. Yeah. Someone always decides like, yeah, I'm not going to go. I don't want to deal with it.
Starting point is 00:50:44 That's not fun. Yeah. Except for my Lisa, those are his two best friends. You're screwed, bro. It's a good opportunity to spend the block, too, you know, for either one of them. For Thanksgiving?
Starting point is 00:50:52 Yeah. You know, it's a good time. It's a good time. Wow. All right. the other friend for more drama? No, he means spin the blah,
Starting point is 00:51:00 get back with them. Yeah, like that I can rekindle something. Remember we started off as friends? Oh, no. Yeah,
Starting point is 00:51:05 I don't think something full. Let me grab it. Okay. Everyone breaks up for the holidays. No one gets back together for the holidays. You either stay together for the holidays or
Starting point is 00:51:13 break up for the holidays. You don't get back. You know how when you go around the table and you give your things? Oh. You know, I'm just thankful for all the moments we had in the past.
Starting point is 00:51:20 No, I'm just thankful I'm single now and free. And I can enjoy my life. I'm thankful that I'm not tied down. I'm thankful that all the bad energy in my life is gone. The old me's deading gum, so thanks. I have so much time to dedicate on myself.
Starting point is 00:51:36 Yes. I've lost 20 pounds. Oh, that's just Greg stinks. You know, I'm working on myself, guys. I'm proud of my 20 pounds. Hey, Greg, you're recently broken up. Ah, yes. I'm sure you guys had mutual friends and Friends Givings coming up and all of that.
Starting point is 00:51:51 Are you guys going to have like a, is there anything there? No, no, there's nothing there. It's deading the old. Me is dead and gone, like I said. Dead and gone. That means she's going to all of them and you're not. They chose her. I hope you know that. The friends chose her.
Starting point is 00:52:03 If you have no plans for Thanksgiving, they chose her. It wouldn't be the first time my friends decided not to invite me to somewhere. Oh my God. It just gets more povercice. Do you want me to tell my story? Please go ahead. I used to have a group of friends. We were in a little car group and we had all like little race cars and stuff like that.
Starting point is 00:52:21 I've known these guys since high school, maybe before. And I'm the one that brought them all together. Oh, like, hey, fool, you know. Yeah. Yeah. Exactly. They all know each other because of me. Uh-huh.
Starting point is 00:52:30 Now they have Friendsgiving every single year, and I see it on Instagram, and I never get invited. Oh, my gosh. I never get invited. That's messed up. But without you, they wouldn't even know each other. Exactly. You created them.
Starting point is 00:52:43 They left you out of Fast and the Furious 10. That's another person I made, and they just left me. You're out here making people. Name drop them. Oh. Make another one. Yeah. Every year.
Starting point is 00:52:56 Every year. Every year they don't invite me. And look, he hurts me. I'm like, damn. Do you cry a little? I don't cry, but I'm like, damn. Do you know where they love? You're making this very sad, bro.
Starting point is 00:53:04 Do you mind, like, just stepping up just for like a couple seconds. Why? Yeah, you're not, you're not, you're not. Yeah, but he's really getting to have that. Okay, you guys, are we going to invite him to our friend? Oh. Wait, is he just trying to come back around. Because I know he's my friend.
Starting point is 00:53:18 He's been my friend for the past year. Not my friend. He's not my friend. Yeah, but why don't they want him around? That's suspicious. True. He feels like the common denominator. He has an AI girlfriend.
Starting point is 00:53:27 Yeah. He's been acting. He's going to get drunk and he's thinking cry about her. It's just not. Oh, yeah. I hate it. Hey. Hey.
Starting point is 00:53:35 Hey. Oh, super cool. It's so cool to have no plans for like November. It's so awesome. Love it. All right. Irene. Any calls that we have over here?
Starting point is 00:53:47 Letting we have Erica from Tarzana on line six. Erica. Hello. Good morning. What's up? Erica. you. Nothing.
Starting point is 00:53:56 Happy Thanksgiving. Happy Thanksgiving to you, baby, girl. And Friendsgiving. Yes. What do you got to say about the situation? I will call the rest of my friends, the ones that I am inviting. And then I would tell everybody, do not call or tell what's her face, Anna, and what's the same. Having a Friendsgiving thing, because honestly, this year, I've had too much drama in my life.
Starting point is 00:54:23 I don't want them in my friendsgiving that I work so hard on. Yep. And they're going to come and eff it up, you know? Yeah. Because they effed up their relationship. Now you're all going to awkward dinners. And if I find out that you told them, you're not invited even. Wow. But aren't they going to find out like the day of when they start posting on social?
Starting point is 00:54:43 Well, well, then I would explain. I'll be like, yeah, you just too much drama. True. Wow. You and your boyfriend. Wow. No, you can hide stories. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:54:52 Oh, yeah. Have a homie that loves hiding stories from me. Sign this. Really? Yeah, definitely hide the story. Do something where, like, they don't know that it happened. No phone policy? No phone policy.
Starting point is 00:55:02 All of that. NDA. Yep. NDA? They're just like, let's just see in a moment. Ending with a really crazy. Yeah, that's wild. But it's possible.
Starting point is 00:55:10 Would you have two friendsgiving? One with the same crew. Like, it's same crew and one of them. And then the next day, same crew and the next one. No, you know what you do is you tell one a certain time and then be like, oh yeah it's going to end and then and then you have the other one arrive at the at the like that i like that because for thanksgiving we have lunch thanksgiving so that everybody can go to dinner thanksgiving with other people but maybe you have the lunch friendsgiving and dinner friendsgiving
Starting point is 00:55:35 wow you got to pretend like you're so hungry it's like oh my god so Harvey love this turkey change the outfit always for my dinner and for the other dinner no they're gonna find out because definitely if they're not with each other they want to show that they got the friend group and they're going to post it. Yeah. Exactly. I'm sorry, bro. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:55:56 Damn, this one's hard. It is. I wouldn't know what to do. You got to just invite him and let it. Let it ride around this course. Yep. Or what if he tells them like, well, then you planted. You hosted.
Starting point is 00:56:08 What if they both planning in the same day? You're still going to choose between two people. And there's only so many days like that are leading up to Thanksgiving. Start it now? Start it now this weekend. Yeah. It's just going to be very like awkward tension. We already have that for Thanksgiving with our,
Starting point is 00:56:21 families like you're gonna you're gonna do that here yeah yeah this is we're supposed to have fun to be free i don't know i don't know the answer is from maricio yo he's caught between his homies that he doesn't know which one to invite to the friends giving to invite both of them they just broke up he's friends with both of them but they both don't want to be around each other dang it's okay but this is the type of stuff get ready holidays are here that's how you know the holidays are here literally drama time irene who's on the line we have anthony from Simar Online. Come on.
Starting point is 00:56:51 Come on, Big Ann Dog. What's up? Good morning. Hey, what's up? What's up? Good morning. Good morning. How are you doing?
Starting point is 00:56:56 Amazing. What would you tell Mauricio? Look, I'm older, so I'm not about the drama. I would call both of them and be like, look, if you guys want to show up, you guys got to squash it before. Oh. Like, you guys put me in the situation. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:57:11 You guys put me in the situation, right? I had to eat it for you guys. This is my event. Yes. You guys got to eat it this time. And, like, have them meet up out of Starbucks or something and be like, look, if you're going to come, no drama. Wow. Don't come.
Starting point is 00:57:25 Yeah, if you're going to be in the middle, be that mediator. Be like, bro, I can't let my, I love you both. You got to get along for me or that's it. I'm not in either of your life. They're going to be like, oh, my God, what? They're going to say yes. Yeah, alcohol kicks in. True.
Starting point is 00:57:39 The alcohol's going to kick in, Anthony. Yeah, come on. Yep. Yeah, no, I thought, but you just let them know. Like, hey, look, if you bring the drama, you know, I love you, but. you're going to have to step out, you know what I mean? Because that's the role. I don't want drama on my thing, you know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:57:54 Be the adult, you know what I mean? If you can't handle your liquor and you know your friends, you know which one can't handle the liquor. True. So you just let them know straight up. But do you remember when he didn't, they didn't listen to him the first time when he said, A, don't get together and then they still did?
Starting point is 00:58:06 They don't care about his rules. Mauricio, you need a manna of Mauricio. Say it with your chest. Or you know what else you can do? I was just thinking about this. Friendsgivings, again, there's a lot of games. They're really fun. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:58:17 There's always teams. Make them team captains. If you guys are going to beef, might as well be for the game. Like, let's play Flip Club. Let's play beer popping. One of you is one team. One is the other team. Like whatever games we have on the Friends Giving, you guys are team captains.
Starting point is 00:58:31 And then you'll have fun. And then we'll start laughing together. And then we're like, stop. You're supposed to do. Oh my God. Where's my husband? And then it's whoa. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:58:40 And then next year you have a baby. Oh, I like this. And drama again. And drama again. But maybe Marisio will be the father. No. Yeah. Leti.
Starting point is 00:58:50 My solution, get them back together. That's it. Do it. Make it as awkward as possible. Is this a sign that you wanted to do for you? They were dating before. Yeah. And now it's like, all right, you guys want to mess up with my Thanksgiving?
Starting point is 00:59:02 I'm going to make it so awkward that you guys get back together. Oh, Greg. I think Greg is a sign. Greg just wants an intervention. I think Greg, do you want us to get her over here. No. I will do it. I will know there's a cappacisto here that needs her review.
Starting point is 00:59:15 He reviews a coffee shop. No. Hey. That's my... Okay. Just don't go over people's houses and mess it up. What? Nothing.
Starting point is 00:59:23 Nothing. You know me? No, no. No, it's okay. Sorry. All right. And your mom texts us. What's your mom texts?
Starting point is 00:59:30 Uh, that Angie... Stop crying on the air. You're making me look embarrassed. Angie owes her shot glasses. Yeah. And I will. Remember I told you? No, you didn't tell me.
Starting point is 00:59:38 I feel like I told somebody, like, let me know so I can pay them. Angie, it's been almost a year. I know, but it's in my conscience. We had a Christmas party at Greg's house. I invited my BFF for L. And for some reason, Angie took a buzz ball. Buzz balls really go. I was the first and last time I'm doing that.
Starting point is 00:59:54 She's throwing stuff. She's karate chopping. She's like doing all this stuff. Yeah. I walk out, there's tables on the floor, like literally flipped over on the floor. I am so fun. There's like five shot glasses broken on the floor. I was heartbroken during that time too.
Starting point is 01:00:06 Okay. I had just broken up with Marcus. That's a great excuse. Yeah. I was going through it. Blame Marcus. See, you don't want that at your house, buddy. You don't.
Starting point is 01:00:15 You don't want. You don't? Yeah. And then all of a sudden your stuff's broken and they owe you and they're not going to give you anything because the next year is already here. If people are karate chocketed? Yeah. You know what that. Who does that?
Starting point is 01:00:26 Me. What movie where are you watching? It was a movie that's playing in her heart, okay? She wanted to break things for as broken as her heart felt. Thank you. Okay. They didn't understand. They just broke into a million pieces.
Starting point is 01:00:37 Yeah. I always say that. I want you to say it's a visual representation of what's inside. Oh. Thank you. That's deep. We're so fake deep because I don't know what we're deep for. All right.
Starting point is 01:00:49 Look, keep it here because we have your Disneyland resort tickets coming up at 815 Disneyland Resort tickets. Right now, let's get into Sombra Sala with Angie. All right, you guys, Mario Lopez, our cousin from another few. Mario Lopez was under fire yesterday. For food videos, he's been sharing with his friends online. Yeah, marisco's box. Yeah. And it was because of this particular video, people were just surprised at the way he was talking.
Starting point is 01:01:24 Okay, listen. Okay, we're at Marisco's, El Bigoton. I got my friend Funez right here. We got some classics. Cizche de Camarone with mayonnaise. Then we've got a cocktail of Camarone right here. You don't want anything else? No, no.
Starting point is 01:01:38 He's not a diet. I just cleaned my stomach yesterday. See, am I right there, Holmes. So you hear him. He's talking differently. What role was he playing? He wasn't. And that's what people were just.
Starting point is 01:01:50 They were like, whoa, whoa, what is this fool doing? He does not talk like this. Yeah. Because we're used to Mario talking very white, like, talking like this. If you want to be a host, look like this. You don't have to, but it helps tremendously. You got to get energized to host this show. I mean, hyped up.
Starting point is 01:02:08 The audience can feel it. And that good energy just makes you an overall better host. You don't hear that accent. Yep. No food, no homes. Even knowing him from like, Save by the Bell, that was say Redville, right? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:02:20 He's always talked like that Mario. Yes. And we've never heard of, or at least people have never heard of speak Mexican or hood or slang like that. Yeah. So they were accusing him of code switching. Like, where did this come from? Like, are you even Mexican? Like, since when are you Latino?
Starting point is 01:02:35 But it's like, well, come on. I think that Lopez has always given it away. And Mario. And Mario. And it looks like Maximum. But he actually, he says. He has nice hair. He does not like that.
Starting point is 01:02:45 I was about to say. Yeah. Chill, chill, chill. Tampoc. Thank you. You're going to be invited to his friends. Yeah, so Mario was just saying like, he had gone wind of this, right? And he actually addressed it because he was just confused.
Starting point is 01:02:59 It's like, what do you mean? Like, don't you guys know I'm Hispanic? Because I've been doing these food videos with my homies and it's a lot of Mexican food, a lot of my riscos. And, you know, I'm talking. I'm saying food and homes and a lot of slang and just kind of being yourself. And I can't be like that on Access Hollywood or I'm a radio show. I'm trying to cash these checks. I can't be sounding all hood like that.
Starting point is 01:03:18 I got to keep it. more polished and buttoned up. So is that why we don't have checks? Wait, wait, wait, wait, hold that I did. We stay fully in homes. What do we say all that? Yeah, what am I putting enough? I don't have any buttons on the shirt.
Starting point is 01:03:35 I can't cover them up. Are you saying if I articulate my words? Oh, my gosh. I can get more money in my bank account. That is correct. Already price went up. Yeah. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 01:03:45 Your value is more. Yeah. I will forever start speaking like this. Angie, I know he's being accused of code switching. He's definitely code switching. It's not an accusation. He's code switching. He's putting his customer service voice on during work and then talking like that during his videos with his homes.
Starting point is 01:04:02 Yeah. I respect me. I don't care. I'm like, yo, that's good. Maybe he's playing a role on Access Hollywood in his mind. For sure. He's an actor. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:04:12 He's always known to play a role. And I think it's surprising people. And I understand it because you don't expect him to talk like that. You've never heard. talk like that. Yeah. Even Angie, you were like,
Starting point is 01:04:21 I've seen him on Univision. I think it's less about knowing that he's Hispanic and more about knowing he talks like that and it's Hispanic. You got what I'm saying? Yeah. Because you've seen it on,
Starting point is 01:04:29 even when he's on Univision, he doesn't talk homes, fool, all that. No. He'll be speaking Spanish, but even if you guys... TV voice. Yeah, but even if you guys follow him
Starting point is 01:04:38 on Instagram, like, he's really lucked in with like the culture. Like, you've seen him with like fools gone wild. He does talk like that. Yeah. I will say that I haven't seen it forever.
Starting point is 01:04:48 It's very recent. that I've seen it. That's true. So, like, I understand it. Like, I think we're coming at a time, too, with just Latinos in general, period, are the way we talk, the way we live, our lifestyle,
Starting point is 01:05:00 our jokes, our content, our creative. It's, like, at the forefront, it's what's funny. So now people that maybe had it in the tuck are only with their friend group or only at home, now they're more present about it on social media.
Starting point is 01:05:12 Because as much as I've seen them on Ful's gone wild, that's recent. Yeah, I guess, yeah, it has been recent, like, in the last couple years. years for sure yeah but you know what like I was just thinking I'm like well like we literally are in a hip-hop station and we're able to be ourselves like we don't have to be talking like our customer service like letty said yeah and that's it his space is more white a lot more white yeah he's in the
Starting point is 01:05:35 tv space of the hosting he does a lot of the dance shows I know that if he spoke like that he would have not got those roles so it's also like letty said like even back in the day when you get hired places, they would change your name. So you wouldn't sound Latino. So he was actually one of the first Latinos to break in to that industry and stay relevant. I mean, we see him everywhere. He's at the gas station. When you pump gas.
Starting point is 01:06:05 That adds to the surprise, though, of people that are shocked when he's talking. And he doesn't sound like the Mario Lopez at the gas station and at the other stuff. I totally get where people, because what you think is that what you're hearing, is that person. What he does for work is be Mario Lopez, right? So then when you see Mario Lopez on these social videos, which are more for self, and you see him talk like how he talks, you're like, wait, what?
Starting point is 01:06:29 Like, which one are you? Yeah. Like, which one is it? But also you can't win because if he was like posting those videos and he's like, oh, these Mariscoes are delicious, everybody will call him a coconut or whatever, right? You know, and people would make fun of like, oh, he doesn't even know Spanish. Right, blah, blah, blah, blah. Not a real Mexican.
Starting point is 01:06:45 So it's like, it really can't win. Mexican or not. People are always going to. I don't know. I don't consider someone more Mexican if they say homes or full. Like that just happens to be something you say. Yeah. I think he always uses his accent.
Starting point is 01:06:57 But if he were to start adding those little, those little words that we have for each other or taking him off of the video, it would still sound like Warreno Lopez to me personally. Yeah. There's even like legit like a flip in his tone and everything. That's where it gets crazy. It's like you have a TV voice and then you have your social media voice. And sometimes it happens subconsciously. Like maybe he's not like, all right.
Starting point is 01:07:19 That's code switching. Yeah, Marisco. Co-switching is whenever you're around someone, you subconsciously just switch. I thought it was on purpose. Like you tone it down. No, it's, uh, how do I explain it? It's like depending on where you're at, you code switch when you go home or you see your Aweilita and you talk to her a certain way that you talk to us.
Starting point is 01:07:36 Yeah. Speaking Spanish and speaking English, your tones change all of that. I go through my mom all of that. Yeah. Oh, for sure. Or even when you get on the phone, you're trying to pay a bill or something. You try to sound more like, but there is a thing called Hispanic. pandering.
Starting point is 01:07:48 And I want to take note of this because this is similar to like, let's say, when Trump was running and didn't he eat like a, like some type of taco bell bowl or like some kind of like, it's when they do things. Yeah, it's when they do things to try to pander to that community. Like, hey, look at me. I'm one of you are like, vote for me because this and that. It's like, what is your intention then? If you're doing this video, do you want us to be on your side?
Starting point is 01:08:11 I think generally Latinos like Mario Lopez. Yeah. So I don't know that it's necessarily like you don't. to win us over or not but it's like what are you trying to do do you think that talking like this is going to make us like you more and then on the other sense because talking another way makes other people like him more like gets the checks and all of that i'm not as upset or surprised by uh the reaction he's getting you're not no because he he has never talked like that um so to hear him be like oh homes and like all of that i mean publicly he has never talked like that
Starting point is 01:08:43 publicly yeah because we don't know even like loki this The thing, even on his Instagram videos, he doesn't talk like that. On his Instagram videos, dealing with marisco stuff is when he talk like that. Do you feel me? Like, if Mario Lopez is doing a Mario Lopez at home video, he's not going to talk like that. Oh, yeah. He talked like that at a taco stand. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:09:04 He talked like that at a marisco spot. He's in a, okay, let me turn it on here. What if he's just trying to sell? What if it's not as genuine of a videos we think? That's what the his pandering part comes into question. What if he's just like, yeah, they're. pay me a lot of money. Let me,
Starting point is 01:09:18 let me sell it. Like, Hey, fools, I can talk this too. Like, I get you. I talk like you.
Starting point is 01:09:24 And it's, and it's, it can only be sensed. Because sometimes when you know that it's part of someone's vocabulary, the way they talk, or their swag, you can't really turn it off different places. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:09:34 And I'm telling you that because if we talk to, we have execs with, like, that are execs and they're like, they wear suits and everything. And then they come in and we're like, what, bro. Like, get out of you.
Starting point is 01:09:43 This was pissing me on. What it is. Yeah. And of course, you could be like, yes, you know, I am very, I feel very upset and I get frustrated anytime Maximo does this and he does it forward or whatever. Like, but I was like, no, this woman. He was just all my nurse.
Starting point is 01:09:56 Yeah. But it's like, it's dependent on like how comfortable you are being that part of you. Yeah, yourself. And clearly he's not like on TV. But it's been getting him tricks. Yeah. Yeah. He's also always been a part of culture because I will give him that.
Starting point is 01:10:10 Like I've seen him doing stuff. Like, for example, the Oscar de la Oya documentary is produced by Mario Lopez. Like he's making sure to like tap in stuff there, but it's less about the stuff that you do for the community and how you represent yourself in the community. Are you only giving me this voice when you're in Boy Heights? That's crazy. That's crazy. Okay, okay, okay. Or maybe he only feels like just recently it's safe to do so.
Starting point is 01:10:34 Yeah, I think he feels comfortable. He finally feels comfortable. Yeah. Because I know other people not like Maril Lopez that are in the similar space of like they have certain businesses that they handle and have to deal with. So they have to put this certain face or stay in a certain lane in what they present, like, on social media. And then once the camera's off, it's like you see the real them. Like they switch like like that. And then recently it's like a change like, okay, now I'm starting to feel comfortable crossing in these lanes.
Starting point is 01:11:01 Yeah. It's just like business. And I think like you said, the forefront of Latinos and creatives and humor is allowing people to finally feel free to express themselves. Right. I think there's also the part of like social media didn't exist before. person that you saw on screen was that person. Yeah. We only knew him by his roles.
Starting point is 01:11:20 Yeah. Yeah. If he talked like Slater, he thought that's how he talks in real life. Like, that's just Slater, right? You know, like, but if he talks like that off mic or at the, at home, we don't see that. We're not at home with him. Now with social media, we're at home with you. Yeah, all the time.
Starting point is 01:11:34 But Loki, his home voice is the same, sounds more like the access Hollywood than it does the Mariscoeco's El Taco or Mariscoeusel. What is it? Play the Marisos audio? Okay, we're at mariscoes, El Bigoton. Got my friend Fulner's right here. We got some classics. Cezsche de Camarone with a mayonnaise.
Starting point is 01:11:51 Then we've got a cocktail of Camarone right here. I like to fosom. You don't want anything else, fool? He's not a diet. He's not a diet. I just think my stomach yesterday. TMI right there, Holmes. TMI right there, Holmes.
Starting point is 01:12:03 Mario Lopez saying fool is crazy. It's more that little tiny. Yeah. Because we also know the coconuts in our life. Like, you just stay coconut. Imagine Marcus all of a sudden comes in here. He's like, yeah, who? What's up?
Starting point is 01:12:14 guys hopes. Oh, yeah. Like, there's something, there's something that's catching people's ears that's off about that. And it might be that
Starting point is 01:12:22 we just know Mario Lopez for so long as his roles, but it also might be like, are you adding extras on it? Like you're trying too hard. He's hosted something like, yeah, fool. Like on like,
Starting point is 01:12:31 yeah, he's at the gas station calling you, Pooh, don't freak of your guest, food. Get the gas lit. I feel like I'm trying to say something and it's not coming out.
Starting point is 01:12:43 Why? We get it. Because it's less about being the full in the white spaces and it's more about only being this in the Latino space. Because that's where I feel like, bro, why are you only this way here? Yeah. That's where it feels weird. And then you're not this way when it's like you're talking family time
Starting point is 01:13:03 or like you're doing your own like your workout videos. You're only doing this when you're visiting certain spaces. So then what do you think of me? Wow. That you feel like you can't talk to me like... Like that or... The other way. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:13:17 Okay. I get what you mean. I don't know that I'm explaining right. But I'm getting where it's like... Like, it's not your genuine self. Like, even if you're showing this part of it? Even if you're doing the fool, that fool doesn't even feel like that. Like, that's not you.
Starting point is 01:13:27 You probably have homies that are like that. Like, we always have friends that are a certain way. True. You know what I'm saying? And then sometimes there's slang. Yeah. It starts to rub off on you. I want to know what the fools in the Ventura County JL say.
Starting point is 01:13:39 Because they listen to us. True. We want to take your call. I'm not even sure if I'm articulating it correctly, but what do you think of this whole Mario Lopez situation? He seems to be code switching anytime he does videos and like people on Twitter. He was going, he was viral. He's like, dude, I went on Twitter.
Starting point is 01:13:55 I'm like, why am I viral? It's like, my birthday is not this, not that. It's like, he's viral because people didn't know that he spoke like that. Yeah. And he was like, no, I speak. I can't speak good. I got to get the checks on Access Hollywood in my radio show. But it's like, dang, I feel like I've seen you in person.
Starting point is 01:14:10 You didn't talk like that either. Yeah But it's like Why did you talk like this During this video All of a sudden Yeah Mario Lopez calling me
Starting point is 01:14:17 I know Mike's supposed I know Mike's supposed I know Mike's supposed to get you in here But hey who cares If you got mad at me now Hit us up Colinpool You know
Starting point is 01:14:23 Do you guys remember Buck Wild? Buck Wild She was like on VHS ones I think it's for flavor of love You guys know She was a white girl
Starting point is 01:14:32 But she talked like Super like Like country Like she had But then they caught her Like talking regular White girl Yeah
Starting point is 01:14:40 Like that's essentially be what's happening. Yeah. Just switch with Mario Lopez. I get what you're saying. It's like the Cash Me Outside girl. Oh, yeah. But did she ever talk regular?
Starting point is 01:14:49 No, it would be like if we caught her doing the video like, yes, you know, I love this so much. But she was like, catch me outside. How about that? All over everything else, right? So that's like the opposite with Mario Lopez where he's very like, you know, and today on next to Hollywood, we were going to go into this and this is great. Boom, boom, bam.
Starting point is 01:15:05 Thank you, ma'am. And then he's like, hey, homes, what's up? Get this food. Saimiche. Hey, I'm only Mexican when the coast is clear. Yeah. Y, rolls and stars and everything. So people have been, he's been training people, he's been a conversation online.
Starting point is 01:15:21 A lot of jokes going off. Like, I didn't know this was Mexican. Like this whole time. Like, when did he talk like this? Like when Mario Lopez turned into George Lopez? It was crazy. Yes, you know. Yeah, they were saying that.
Starting point is 01:15:31 That's funny. I didn't see that one. And shout out George Lopez because he's been doing a bunch of stuff. Like he's in the exec rooms. He's made TV shows, all of that. still sounds like George Lopez from the valley. True. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:15:44 There's ways to go about it and there's ways not to go about it. According to Mario Lopez, he says, you know what? This blocks the bag when I speak like this. Like, yeah, you got to put a button up shirt. Got to catch these checks. Yeah. Got to do this. Gradden, he has a lot of checks.
Starting point is 01:15:59 A lot. He does. He does catch them. Yeah. Find them everywhere. He is also very still invested in the community. I see him around. I see his hand on different things when it comes to Latinos and making sure that they're lifted
Starting point is 01:16:10 it up. I see him literally at every Golden Boy fight. He loves the boxing stuff, all of that. He's very enveloped in the community. However, it's the way he speaks that's getting questioned. Because he's saying fool and homes, which even in these spaces where he's at with the community-based stuff, he doesn't
Starting point is 01:16:26 regularly talk like that. So it's like, why is he talking like that when he has... Like, it's like a set, a Māori school in front of him. It's not part of his vocabulary. Yeah. Yeah, all of a sudden. Yeah, like you said, the coast was clear to talk Mexican. So he did it. She got to sock check him. That's what I'm going to do. He has high socks.
Starting point is 01:16:41 He for sure has high socks. But are they like the fancy, like dress socks? Oh, they're Calvin Clines. Yeah. They're comfy. He wears them with his slacks. And then I get it because I also have like, like, I have friends that really sound like the character voices that we that we hear. But it's like to talk like them is that like and not be that way.
Starting point is 01:17:04 Yeah. That's where it kind of when it's not really you. There are. Yes, that is definitely someone talks like that. But if that's not really how you talk, just own it. If you talk square, you talk square, bro. Yeah, this reminds me of a funny TikTok where this guy's outside talking to his friends. He's like, yeah, food, what's that food?
Starting point is 01:17:19 When he walks into his house, he's like, hi, mom. Hi, mom. And people do code switch for the parents. And their grandparents, all that. You don't cuss in front of your, in front of your grandparents, and then you come outside and you're all. Yeah. I think I talk a little different to my son. Like, I try to just be more, like, casual.
Starting point is 01:17:37 Yeah. Obviously not cuss. You know what I'm saying? as much as I can in front of them. Versus? Versus, like, when I'm on the phone talking to my homies, I'm like, yeah, dog,
Starting point is 01:17:44 you already know what it is. Imagine he's talking about it. Yeah, don't know, a little bit, oh, wow. That'd be weird. Let's just step out right there, but I know there was a step on last week, but.
Starting point is 01:17:55 The other day, he said, nah, dog, somewhere, like, to somebody, and I was like, what did you just say? I love it. Yeah, like, oh, God. Pitching? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:18:04 Never going to get to Mario Lopez back like that. Irene, do I have anybody the land baby girl I mean Irene yes or no we have Wendy from Bloomington online for All right Wendy Good morning Wendy Hi guys
Starting point is 01:18:19 Wendy where is Bloomington Holmes good question Bloomington is okay you know where Fontaine is Why'd you say that? Why don't you say that? Why don't you say that? Oh yeah yes yes yes yes yes Okay Fontaine is like 20 minutes into the IE
Starting point is 01:18:35 And Bloomington's like the little tiny city Over Okay, Bloomington is way better than Fontana. I'm just throw that out there. All right. Thank you so much. You're welcome so much. All right, talk to us about this Mario Lopez situation.
Starting point is 01:18:48 I'm not sure if you heard, but he's been trending because of the way that he speaks when he talks, when he was talking about a Marisco spot in a video with his homes and his fools. And then people are like, dude, why is he like that? Yeah, I do think it's like a cold switch because like even the way when I talk to my kids, which are they, when you know, but like I'm like, no, bro. Like, or, oh, you talk to them like that. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. You know, stuff like that.
Starting point is 01:19:12 But, like, like, and when I'm with my Aualita, like you said, I literally get this baby voice like, oh, la Aualita, you know? Yeah, your tone changes. When I talk to my dad, it's the same thing. And it's like, when I am around, like, my Tolo homies, I could get more in the Tolo vibe. But when I'm at work with my Filipino girls, and so I'm like, no, fool, da-da, they kind of look at me like,
Starting point is 01:19:32 fool. Yeah, like, you call me a fool. What is that? And I'm like, no, no, no, no. But, so, you know, you do. you switch it up a little bit. Hey, Wendy, what's Chola Wendy like? What do you get like?
Starting point is 01:19:42 Yeah. Yeah, tell us. Try it on. Tell us. I love that, Chola, but I am like, a full, not homes. Like, real? You know, I'm Guatemalan, right? You can kind of relate with Salvadorian.
Starting point is 01:19:55 But, like, when I'm around my Mexican homies, I'm like, no, Netta. Damn. You code switch ethnicity is a riser. Hey, I don't have salving friends like that. I wish I got, like, Maximus, like, my closest Salvi friend and he's he doesn't do Salvi vibes either. Yeah. Like we're not out here, bossing in Cipotein.
Starting point is 01:20:15 Yes, no. When I saw anyone from Guatemala, I'm like, Dede, it's like, Uttes de Wattamaana and they're like, yes, and I'm like, oh my God, so personal, da, d d'da. Okay, Digo, Caya de, that stuff is like super cool. I wish I could code switch like that. All right.
Starting point is 01:20:28 Well, yeah, I think, I mean, I don't know. I think he's being funny at the same time feeling the vibe and he was like, oh, the cocktail and yeah. Yeah. No, I think he got. Marrrrisco. So good. Raffles are so good.
Starting point is 01:20:44 Yeah. Every other video, he's Mario Lopez. This one, he's Marrio. Lopez. I think it's just, you know, you tune into your surroundings a little bit. Yes. Especially when you're like a people person, you're like, you know? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:20:59 And I think with Mario Lopez, he's just, we like him all the same. Oh, yeah. Like, Mario, we like you when you're the be a little coconut on X's Hollywood. We like you when you're eating marisos. Yes, yes, yes. All right. Thank you, Wendy from Bloomington. Stay away from Fontana.
Starting point is 01:21:13 You're very welcome, guys. Thank you. Good morning. You can. Hey. What part are you switching right now? All right. Time zone switching.
Starting point is 01:21:23 Later, Holmes. She's so tight. Wait, you want to talk to her? You want to say what's up to her? You want to go? Sounds like a cougar. I'm going to find a where's it, Bloomington again? Bloomington.
Starting point is 01:21:32 It's by Fontana like after. Oh, yeah. I'm not that far. Okay. Well, I think that that was a good conversation to have. If anyone's going to have it, it's going to be us. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:21:42 Also, can you guys please refrain from saying fool from now on? Yes. I would like our checks to cash. Oh, yes, of course. I will try my best to annunciate now. Wow. Okay. Please, Angelica.
Starting point is 01:21:54 Do you guys want to go get a cheese platter after this? Of course. I'd be delighted. Exactly. I think it's called a chakudery board. Not a cheese flutter. Come on, fool. Get it together.
Starting point is 01:22:05 Come on, fool. We will need some light it. Cabernet. Yeah. You make sure the cheese. I know the coffee is great there. You know what? It's just so weird.
Starting point is 01:22:11 You know when I was in Piccadilly? Okay. All right. Paran 106, round bag mornings. We are celebrating a special day today. Who knows how many years? 21. 21.
Starting point is 01:22:22 21. 21 years. Since 8 Mile. 8 Mile came out in theater. Shout out, baby. 8 Mile. Incredible hip hop biopic. All right.
Starting point is 01:22:34 And we have a clip, right? Which one of you fools has the clip of 8 Mile that we want to play on the radio because we're on air. We're live. Yeah, it's cool. Ready? Ready? Now, everybody from the 3-13. Put your motherfuck and add something on me.
Starting point is 01:22:53 Look, look. Now, while he stands tough, notice that this man did not have his hands up. His three world's got too gassed up. Now, who's afraid of the big bad horse? One, two, three, and the four. One pop, two, pop, pop, three, pop, pop, pop. Four pop, three pop, two pops, one, your pop, he's pop, no pop, none. This guy ain't no motherfucking MC.
Starting point is 01:23:17 I know everything he's got to say against me. I am white, I am a fucking pump. I do live in the trailer with my mom. My boy future isn't a good time. I do got a dumb friend named Cheddar Bob who suits himself in his leg with his own gun. I did get jumped by all six of you jumps. And we get my girl. I'm still standing here screaming for a free.
Starting point is 01:23:39 I never try to judge me, dude. You don't know what the f-thing about you. You went to Cranbrook at a private school. What's the man, a dog, you in Paris? This guy's a gangster. His real name is Clarence. And Clarence needs to home with both parents. And Clarence parents have a real good marriage.
Starting point is 01:24:00 This guy don't want a battle. She's sure, because ain't no such days as that's a black girl. Oh! Oh my God! I know everyone in the car was seen. I just fatt. I just fatt. Oh my gosh.
Starting point is 01:24:14 Wow. That was so tight, bro. That was so tight, bro. Yeah. A lot of cyphers and freestyles are done to show ones because of that movie. Oh, yeah. That's like the freestyle, like, instrumental from ever since that day. Amal is so tight.
Starting point is 01:24:29 And I don't know if you saw it in theaters. I'm that old. I did. Yeah, but, like, just hearing everything. And we already knew who Eminem was, but, like, hearing the, like, the beats, like, while they're, like, the, like, the, Soundtracks in the, yes, in the movie, seeing it how it plays out, he's a great actor. Yeah. Like, he did an incredible job.
Starting point is 01:24:49 It was casted really, really well. Yeah. Shout to Britney Murphy. Like, all of them. Kai Pfeiffer. Yes, Mackay Fifer. Yeah. Oh, my gosh, that was an incredible movie.
Starting point is 01:24:58 And it celebrates 21 years. I want to go home and watch the movie now. Yeah, now it after that. Yes. Honestly, I had the DVD and I would rewind to just the battle parts. The battle parts of the vibe. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:25:08 All you had the DVD is. Yeah. Oh. At the kickback, Hey, that was a thing. They put on Nemo. Go to the chapter section? Bro.
Starting point is 01:25:19 The chapter section is crazy. See him in the radio station? Yeah, I didn't get to do the chapter ones because all of mine were bootlay from Mexico. Yeah. So you just, whatever they play you got. It was continuous. All right.
Starting point is 01:25:31 I love about that freestyle or the battle when he knew, like, just even that first part where he's like, everyone in your hands in the air. He's like, you guys noticed how he didn't have his hands in the air? Yeah. That's why I pointed out of him. Everything was very, everything was just very calculated. Oh, I just love it.
Starting point is 01:25:46 Just in the hip-hop aspect of it. Yeah. Now, that was a movie loosely based on the life of Eminem. Yeah. He really had his friends there. It kind of sees like the D-12 vibes of like his real homies. And you see what went on in the film. Yep.
Starting point is 01:26:01 Is 8 Mile the best hip-hop biopic? Ooh. That alone, I'm like, dog, it doesn't get better than that. I'm warming up my hair. hands letty Okay, hold on Let's just Let's just let
Starting point is 01:26:14 Because we have a few other clips Right from me Yeah we got a couple Okay hit me with something else From 8 mile You want to f*** with us Huh? Let us yeah
Starting point is 01:26:22 Shatter what the fuck are you doing man Where did you get that shit? He had some heat on him Yeah Then he Then he Shetter Bob made a cheeseburger Yeah
Starting point is 01:26:35 That was so good Yes Cheddar Bob Okay There's so many also Quotables from 8 Yeah, like even just from that, from that battle rap.
Starting point is 01:26:47 The exhibit battle at the lunch truck. Oh my God. Exhibit was in the movie. Look at sakes. It's dying to grow roots. Yes, Maxie-U. He sold his backpack is on, you guys. Oh, for sure.
Starting point is 01:27:01 Okay. If not eight mile, what is the best hip-hop biopic? I'm not talking about like. Beat Street. Like, yeah. Like, it's not, I'm not talking about Friday. I know Ice Cube was in Friday. But like a biopic of your life.
Starting point is 01:27:16 Like I said, I'm warming up my hands right now, Lettie. I'm going to say it. I'm scared though. I'm saying this loud and proud. You're going to say like kiss or something. Or you're going to say like the N-Sync biopic. Nope. Best one out of all time, straight out of Compton.
Starting point is 01:27:29 I agree. Straight out of Compton. Straight out of Compton. I have that movie on repeat every single week. I'm not even kidding. Well, that explains about it. Okay. I mean, I like straight out of Compton.
Starting point is 01:27:39 I do. Trust me. I love NWA, Dr. Dre, the whole story. Let's play. Let's play something from Strait-Arton before we chime in. Okay. Who has straight-on-a-compton vibes? Over here, Maximil, that's texting with his friends.
Starting point is 01:27:49 Now about to witness the strength of street knowledge. Straight out of Compton. It's a crazy brother named Ice Cube. From the stupid dope gang with an attitude. The original. Now we're going to play. Come on, Brian. I got a baby on the way.
Starting point is 01:28:02 Which one? It's cruising. Cruising. It's cruising. It says cruising down the street in my 6. Cruising down the street in my 6-4. Oh. Hey, that was dope.
Starting point is 01:28:12 Like the making of it That whole scene right there That was an awesome scene That scene Yeah I caught it What are you saying big? I love them
Starting point is 01:28:24 I love the story You know Just their whole come up But we gotta admit That movie was like A superhero movie damn near Yeah Why you?
Starting point is 01:28:33 Like exact Embellished It was true Like everybody had Nobody had flaws The freaking chase scene with Dr. Dre was crazy They were like chasing Batman
Starting point is 01:28:42 On Wilshire? Yeah. Like, come on. In reality, they just stopped that fool. Yeah. Like, it was a little much. Like, everybody was perfect. Everybody was super cool.
Starting point is 01:28:51 Yeah. There was like no flaws in it. Exactly. That's why it's the greatest hip-hop movie because there was no flaws in it. You know what? I wanted to agree with you. I wanted to agree with you, Greg. Because I was just thinking like the branding, like the whole straight out of like that.
Starting point is 01:29:05 Like that was just like it took like, yeah. Everyone had a T-shirt with that. Like flipped it. Yeah. But then when you mentioned Letti were like, Like, well, what lines are iconic? Like, with eight mile, it's like you have things, you have scenes you can go to. Yes, I can.
Starting point is 01:29:20 And so that's why I was just like, I think I'm going to have to go with eight mile. Word for word, bar for bar. You could word for word, bar for bar. Yeah. Straight at a Compton. All right, some bars. I could tell you scene by scene. How about that?
Starting point is 01:29:34 Every single movie. I like the school. Every single part of the movie. The school bus was tight. Yeah. Exactly. Oh, Irene, you were in straight out of Compton? Yeah, I was an extra in all the concert scenes.
Starting point is 01:29:44 Me and my little brother, I mean. No way. Like when they did the roller rink one? Not the roller ring one. The Detroit one? The Detroit one. Oh, that's so tight. My first day on set, it was like a 16 hour day.
Starting point is 01:30:00 I met Ice Cube, his son, DJ Yella. Oh, that's so tight. Yeah, it was so cool. It was a long day, but I was like, wow, this is so cool. The only thing that I would say, could have like I love straighto Compton yeah but when they dubbed Snoop's voice into oh my that was amazing like it was snoop's actual voice but it was another person acting you're right yeah it was like wait what it just it just felt weird because you know it's
Starting point is 01:30:33 no but it's like someone else's talking yeah letty that scene when they're doing nothing but The G thing? Great. But it's just odd. Because that kind of takes you out of the movie. Yeah. You know, movies and movies because you get into the world of the movie. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:30:47 But when you hear Snoop Dog and it's not his face or it's like somebody else acting, but it's his voice dove door. It's like, it kind of like, it jilts you a little bit. Yeah. No, you're right. Because when I first heard it, I was like, what? Is this a comedy? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:30:58 This is a comedy movie movie. Everybody, I went to watch it at the movie theaters. Every single person in the movie theater started laughing in that part. It's funny. We all collectively were like, what the? What's going on? Are we listening to the same thing? Yes.
Starting point is 01:31:11 Yeah. I do appreciate, though, how good O'Shea is, Ice Cube's son. Oh, yeah. He is so good at acting like his dad. Like, he owned the role of Ice Cube. Yeah. The person who played Dr. Dre was really good, too. Really good, too.
Starting point is 01:31:28 Yeah. He's also in Walking Dead. Yeah. His name is escaping me, but he's vibes. Yeah. The person that played EZE, what are we talking about? His son. He was good.
Starting point is 01:31:38 Yeah. That was not easy. Oh my God, get out of here. That's the movie you chose? No, hold on. That was Jason Mitchell. Hold on. I thought she could bar for bar words and word.
Starting point is 01:31:48 His son was part, like working out with the movie. Yeah, his son. Oh, that's the other person I met. His son was saying. Exactly. That's right. Look at you all right. The son was fake.
Starting point is 01:31:56 Help he make the movie. Good save, good save. Yeah, good save. Okay. It was good. It was good. To me, it was just a little like unrealistic. Okay.
Starting point is 01:32:06 You know. There are other options, right? There are other nominees for Best Ta-Pot Biopic. Could we run through them? Does anyone know how to use DiPripe? Yeah, sorry. Some will name them weird. Oh, they're titled, Dim Dumb.
Starting point is 01:32:20 Blame Greg. It's okay, Greg. I'm still waiting on the one. You remember the words of that song? What's so? If I was your best friend, I want you around all the time. Could I be your best friend? If you'll promise you'll be mine.
Starting point is 01:32:38 I was your best friend I want you around all the time best friend girl I'm gonna make you my best friend I remember Okay so So 50s Pillo talking
Starting point is 01:32:51 Vives That's when get rich with that try And that honestly to me was like the best Like the most memorable scene Yeah because and again like with the eight mile thing I think that's what he did Like we already knew him And granted with straight out of constant we knew too
Starting point is 01:33:02 But it was just the way that they put him Into the movies I was like oh my God If it's so good window shopping Incredible. Because the album, too, it matched so good. It was incredible. Notorious, anybody?
Starting point is 01:33:14 All eyes on me, anybody? It was good. I'll watch them. If they're on, I'll watch them. Yeah. If they're on, they're on, you're, like, give them a view. My favorite scene in G. I'm a gangster grandpa, I'm proud of it.
Starting point is 01:33:27 I love that scene. All right, we got our homie G. Poreko in the house, G. Yeah. What's going on? Bro, you came in here like sunshine. Good morning to you, bro. He came in like, why everybody all quiet and stressed out for?
Starting point is 01:33:41 Why are you looking all stupid for her? I'm like, damn. Stop looking stupid, Maximu, please. Yeah, he was talking about you. Yeah. No, it was us. It was us. A.G., before you came here, we're having a debate, okay?
Starting point is 01:33:52 Okay. It's a 21-year anniversary of 8 Mile. What? By movie, right? We're playing a little bit of the battle. Come on. Now, everybody comes to 3-13. Hey.
Starting point is 01:34:04 Put your motherfuck. Hands up and follow me. Everybody from the 3-1-3, put your motherfucking hands up. Look, look. Now while he stands tough, notice if this man can not have his hands up. Vives. That battle scene, all the battle scenes, a lot of the scenes, period, in 8 Mile, iconic. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:34:24 So we're asking, is 8 Mile the best hip-hop biopic, which is a hip-hop movie based on, like, an actual life of an artist? The other option and the other, like, contender is straight out of Compton. Right? Yeah. Straight out of content. Straight out of content. More iconic. Takes the cake, yeah.
Starting point is 01:34:42 All right. Let's play. I mean, I never watch eight miles, though. You never watch eight miles. I never watched. So right now when we play, you're like, all right, that's cool. I know shook one's part two, but I don't know. Yeah, I like the beat.
Starting point is 01:34:52 Yeah. Okay, what about Get Richard D. Trine? Bro. Get Richard D. I try and fire. Vibes. We were talking about All Eyes on Me? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:35:02 Notorious? Notorious. Notorious. I think, you know what, I'll give it to Notorious that that was probably like one of the first, like, hip-hop biopics, which means, like, it's literally based off of an artist's life. And I think they were just getting to, like, all right, we've got to get better in this. Like, hey, we've got to get better than this. I'm trying to give it as much. Yeah, I think it's, like, picks like that is kind of difficult after somebody's, like, rest in peace.
Starting point is 01:35:25 Yeah. And then by us kind of like, filling a little bit of it, like seeing them a little bit or just like the after. the effect of them being so close I think y'all hitting on a nail Yeah and I think like 8 Mile had Eminem in it Eminem's still with us you know most of the crew from NWA is still with us for straight
Starting point is 01:35:46 or Compton that allows us to have more fun with it than like something so heavy like a all eyes on me for Pog or like a notorious you know Yeah because when Notorious came out there's so many people saying like that's not how it happened this happened this way and it's like that's always going to happen because people always have different perspectives
Starting point is 01:36:02 Yeah and then you got to dramatize like certain parts to make it a little more interesting. Yeah, the dramatization stuff is crazy. That's the best part. To change the names to protect it. Yeah. Guilty. They didn't.
Starting point is 01:36:14 Have you ever thought about movies? I'm hearing things. Movie star. Movie star. I didn't, I didn't coin that moniker for nothing. Come on. Yeah, we're working on a few movies. We just, we just start casting for the Hot Shot 2 movie.
Starting point is 01:36:29 So Hot Shot 2 coming with a short film. Wow. Yeah. Yeah. For sure. Is drama going to be part of it? Dramatization. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:36:39 That's tight. That's fine. What is it? You don't be the man behind the camera. Come on. Is this going to be like biographical or is it going to be more just like a random like just a story you're telling? Yeah, it's definitely Trice is my real life. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:36:56 That add to it. That's so tight. But drama tie. Yeah. To protect the guilty. For sure. Now, sometimes with you about it, because I was thinking, like, a movie like Rocky, right? Sylvester Stallone wrote it because no one would give him a part.
Starting point is 01:37:10 No one would give him a part as an actor. So he's like, you know what? I'm going to write this movie. And Rocky is classic. You know, sometimes you got to take it into your own hands. And that's what you've been doing. Yeah. Like, that's what G. Preco has been doing with your music, with their career.
Starting point is 01:37:22 And it's like, look, I can take this on. Like, I can forget wishing someone can make the films that I want or representation. I'm going to do it. Why not? Yeah, that's definitely the goal with the film. So we got a few other lined up. So like the same way I drop music, we're going to be dropping movies for 2024.
Starting point is 01:37:38 Let's talk about. I sell my acting chops. Come on. What do you think you're best in, like, are you like more like of a, like a romantic actor? Are you like a, I don't know. Comedic actor?
Starting point is 01:37:51 Physical comedy or what is this? I'm like a, uh, a yo. I would say I'm a method. I'm more like a method actor. So I'd be able to dive into any character. Like right now we're doing like stuff this like, uh, what you would, you know, what you would expect from me. More like street lifestyle.
Starting point is 01:38:11 Yeah. Yeah. Vick makes a great like, like when, like he knows how to make a girl feel like she's in love there. He's in love with her. Yeah. I am. And sometimes I'm like, do you ever like trip up like when you're telling her like she's the one and the only one? You know like you're acting like you know like that's not true, but like you're owning it, you know?
Starting point is 01:38:30 I mean, he may be feeling like that at the time. Yeah. It's all about getting into the character. Yeah, I might be a method actor myself. Look at you. You know what I'm saying? Your character is faithful? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:38:40 I play the part. Yeah, he might feel like that at the time. You know, I'm a lover boy myself. Yeah. Oh, yeah, lover boy's love. Yeah. For sure. All right, G. Precoe, I do want to talk to you about music because not only have you
Starting point is 01:38:53 just dropped the project, you have projects on deck. It seems like you don't run out of material and the ability to put it on paper or on a track. We always hear of like a writer's block or like I couldn't, I had to sit back and like live life and feel it. It seems like you're very like, no, this is coming to me. This is flowing. Yeah, for sure. Talk to me about just that part because legit, we've had like seven projects from you this year alone. Yeah, so.
Starting point is 01:39:18 You're attacking us with projects. Like, it was a time when I felt like I had a block and that's when I was signed and everything was feeling like a job. Damn. And it was like I wasn't being myself. I wasn't being like truthful because it was like. we need the single, we need the big hit. So it just took me out of my essence. And then I had a conversation with rants.
Starting point is 01:39:40 And he like, bro, the only reason that artists or anybody got writers blocked is when they're not being truthful. Come on. So it's like I just, you know, stick to what I feel, what's coming from my heart, my soul, what I see. Yeah. What it smelled like. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:39:57 At least summer three just dropped. And I got to talk to you about a song. Extended summers on the way. Come on. About memories. Because when I heard a song like memories, I'm like, damn, we all can take that, like, that look back in time, the people that were around, even, like, just those memories, right?
Starting point is 01:40:17 It's getting into the holidays, that reflection and all of that is coming around. You're, like, missing people that you didn't. Like, all of that hits. Talk to me about putting that song in particular on the project. I mean, I, lately I've been doing a lot of. reminiscing and thinking about people because, you know, I lost a lot of people. And then there's just a lot of things going on. So, like, at nighttime, I just get to thinking about my granny or Collillon, rest of peace.
Starting point is 01:40:45 So it's just been heavy on my heart and my mind, so I had to get it out. Yeah. I like the, oh, I know this year, I mean, you know, I know you personally, and I know this year's been a tough year for you with, with, you know, life and things happening. And you still continue to, like, put these projects out. give us like you always have obviously the street the lifestyle the right you know the hood stuff but you always talk like that introspect there's stuff there's stuff there's i think people like i think
Starting point is 01:41:13 people missing that yeah that's going past people but when they tune in and catch up they're gonna be like it's life bars like i like what you said on shadow you said thought i was smart and still learned the hard way for sure and just talk to me about that like was there a specific situation or just like when you bump your head, when you thought you were done bumping your head. Yeah, you know, when you're coming up in the streets and you young, and there's people giving you information
Starting point is 01:41:37 and guidance that's correct. Yeah. You're like, man, I already know. I know, don't worry about it. I got to figure it out. You know what I mean? And the jail house is full of smart dummies. And I was one of them.
Starting point is 01:41:49 So learning a hard way, bumping my head, in and out of jail, prison. You know what I mean? And then I just had to take heed of, like, all of valuable information I was getting, you know what I mean? and listening to myself too. Every time I, like, listen to your music,
Starting point is 01:42:04 I can't have to, like, I have to keep myself from my phone, and I don't, but from, like, tweeting things that you say because I feel so, like, I feel so box. Like, like, if you don't believe in the vision, what you're around for, like, really, what you're around for? Yeah. But, like, I'm sure, like, you're like, dude, this is, this is a caption, let me write it.
Starting point is 01:42:20 Like, how is that, like, because you give those, those, I guess they're quotables. You give those bars that are like, go ahead and say it. Go ahead and sub someone right now. by posting it or like put on your IG caption. Yeah, yeah. I mean, that's the goal with the music
Starting point is 01:42:34 to just say stuff that resonate with people in their mind and they heart and something that they could say back or say to somebody in a conversation whether it's like, you know, good or bad. Like if you're like getting back at somebody, what's you around for if you don't believe in it. Come on.
Starting point is 01:42:52 Come on. You shut them up. So many different ways. Yeah. We got G. Pricco in here with us. And November 17th at the November 17th at the Novo. The show is going down.
Starting point is 01:43:02 Yeah. All right. This is so dope to me because we were just talking about Friendsgiving. I'm like, that's his Friendsgiving. Yeah. It's going to be a party. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:43:09 It's before Thanksgiving, God. See? Got you. Before Thanksgiving with the people you actually want to be around? Yeah. Friendsgiving, Vib. For sure. Come on.
Starting point is 01:43:17 Talk to us about the Nova because I know that you've been setting up to do this show. This is 4G prequel to just celebrate Los Angeles, celebrate everything you've been through. Like Maximo said, the year that we've had, the year that you've had. Yeah. And it's going to come. November 17th.
Starting point is 01:43:30 Yeah, it's been a real, like, transitional year. Like, and I learned a lot, felt a lot, experienced a lot. And this is basically the grand finale in 20203. And then we're going into the, to the movies, the music, the clothing, the lifestyle, you know what I mean? Yeah. Just feel good. You know what I mean? We're turning, we turn it all the way back up, you know what I mean?
Starting point is 01:43:52 That's super fire. I think it's super appropriate, too, for, like, the Novo. Because I remember, like, your story, like in L.A. rap kind of started from, oh he was that guy that got shot and performed at the rocks. Same day. You know? The same day. And then it's like to go from like that's a progression, right?
Starting point is 01:44:08 It's like the roxy is like a big venue, but it's also 400. You could fit like four roxies inside the Novo. For sure. Right? Yeah. So just talk about building your fan base and like how it feels to like, damn, like years later. Yeah. I mean, it's dope because like I was telling him in the hallway, I'm super unorthodox.
Starting point is 01:44:25 You know what I mean? And like I don't really, I'm trying to break the mold. and, you know, create my whole own little thing that people could follow. So, yeah, it's dope just seeing everything grow and seeing the hard work, work, and people just feeling it, you know what I mean? People viving with me, like, that's super dope, man. Yeah. I want to talk to you real quick.
Starting point is 01:44:46 Sorry, Mike, someone to cut you off, but I love doing that. I want to talk to you about this born and raised video release that we saw. You know, we all lost Banto, Born and Raised from Venice, and just what they did with that clothing brand. You have your own clothing brand, and I know just being out here in LA, it's like real, recognized real, and you've got to just show love to the people that you see doing it. Seeing Spanto and Born and Raised and everything that they were doing, I'm sure, inspired you. For sure. Talk to me about being a part of that video and in the memory of someone like Spanto who passed away.
Starting point is 01:45:19 I mean, that was super dope. Like, Sponto was like a good friend of mine. Me and Sponto will hollered for hours, but, like, we had talked about street stuff. gang bangers who from this hood did what and stuff like that you know what I mean and the um the crazy thing like my last text to him yeah where them shoes that bro I need them oh you know I mean the SB the dunks that boarder-reasing yeah yeah yeah where them SBs that bro I need them and um just to be able just to be invited and be a part of that was dope like and sponsoring them I never let them pay me money or nothing yeah I'm gonna come through and do it so that was definitely
Starting point is 01:45:58 Definitely an honor, you know what I mean? You know, I appreciate Tutoan, his wife and everybody for inviting me, always treating me like family. But yeah, that was, that was another one, man, like memories. I had to mention Spanto and that, man. That was a heavy one right there. You know what trips us out, too, like when we're talking about those shoes, those dungs that they had, we had just celebrated him on power because he had given a bunch of those dungs to kids that were graduating high school. At Venice, yes. And he wanted to get back in that way.
Starting point is 01:46:28 The laces. Yep. The laces say in loving memory. And it's like, that's just him having created that, having done the collab before he passed. And it's just a trip. The, like, the stuff that ends up being not so much coincidence. It feels like a sign almost, you know? Yeah, it's just like a legendary historic thing, like, that you can't duplicate or replicate.
Starting point is 01:46:48 You know what I mean? Can't make this up. Spanto was definitely like a cold visionary. Yeah. And he had me tighten up a lot of stuff. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:46:58 I'm seeing his jean. We got to do this jeez. It's got to be like that. With blue t-shirt in particular? With blue t-shirt with the music, how I need to be looking. You know what I mean? Because I'm like, I'm east side dusty. I'm going to come any old way.
Starting point is 01:47:12 So, you know, he got me up on him and two-tone, man. That's fine. Oh, yeah, you would go to the Sadie Hawkins. Right? Yeah, for sure. Yeah. For sure. That's fine.
Starting point is 01:47:20 I missed the last one, though. I think I had a show somewhere or something. But the one before that I was up in there. Moving and good. for that. Hey, G, it's so tight to just know you from Los Angeles and to know you for your music. And it's cool to then, like, full circle, at least in when I'm observing, like, I feel like the mom of the crew. And I see everything that you've done with Maximo, who is a pain in my chest.
Starting point is 01:47:44 Like, he's so annoying. No, but, yes, but, like, to see that you guys are, like, like, have that brotherhood. Oh, man. The, the black and brown brotherhood that I see, like, it's similar to what I see with Jorge and Nipsey. You know, it's a beautiful thing that you guys can creatively collaborate, probably but heads. And he is so stubborn, G. Pricco. Am I? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:48:06 Yeah. But then still be able to, like, make stuff. Like your recent music video, shout out. That's... Shout out. Shout out. Maximo. We call it Maximo and you're like, who's that?
Starting point is 01:48:17 You're like, I don't like that name. Maximo. Remember I sent you that message. Yeah. He just sends me random, like, memos or just troll. Like, if I call him, he's just instantly, he starts trolling me. Yeah. I love it. I love it. Don't stop because we need that. Over here, he's big stuff over here.
Starting point is 01:48:32 But Edgar is his real name. That's how you know him. Yeah. Edgar. How'd you guys meet? For blue t-shirt, right? He did my first blue t-shirt. What? The very first thing, I had two t-shirts and probably like maybe a half a dozen in total. Two different styles, half a dozen in total. And I was in transition. That was 2019. I went broke. That was when I was, yeah, I was down. You know what I mean? And you were like, how am I going to get out of this?
Starting point is 01:49:03 I think I want to start this merch line. This is a blue T-shirt. They're not really blue T-shirts, but anything he puts up is a blue T-shirt. Right? Yeah, facts. So it would be like right now he has an orange shirt, but it's a blue t-shirt, okay? He has a backpack that's a red and it's also a blue T-shirt. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:49:18 High-end, you know what I mean? It's a blue t-shirt, but it's a backpack. I love it. Okay. We don't have to get some of these. And Maximo understood the vision. And he was like. I kept.
Starting point is 01:49:28 Yeah, yeah. I think Maximo brought the idea, right? Yeah. Wow. I mean, I've always been a fan, and I've seen, like, what he represents in L.A., the lifestyle. And, like, he really, like, he's not just rapping and talking. Like, he's really saying what he's doing.
Starting point is 01:49:46 He's really about the independent hustle, and I am as well. So I just came on, and I was like, yo, bro, I could be an asset and let's work. Wow. Yeah, that's tough. We get some work. He has us call him M. Perico, if you didn't know. M. Perico, that's right. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:50:02 Yeah. And a prize. Did you see the Edgar cut that we did on him? So I'm going to tell you right now, he's a clipper fan. I always have to, like, explain him to people that meet him. Like, I know he's a good guy. Yes, he likes clippers, but it's okay. He's a clipper fan.
Starting point is 01:50:19 Are you? No, I'm definitely not a clipper. Laker gang? Laker. Okay, so Vic is a Laker fan, too, like everybody else with the right mind. Just kidding, you guys. And they played against each other, Clippers versus Lakers. We bet on the game.
Starting point is 01:50:32 Maximo, if he would have won, he would have made Vick's beard like Riff-F. You know, like that. He'll cut my beard. Make it look like Riff's. He didn't look fly. It would be a zigzag. But he lost. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:50:42 So then we had to give him an Edgar cut. I know. That was a good loss for you. Right. He lost to one. Yeah. But that was a good loss for you because, yeah, you look fly, man. And it's shade.
Starting point is 01:50:52 You look like you was about 16. He looked younger. Yeah. That's what these 16-year-olds are doing. They're getting Edgar cuts. They're putting, like, the spray. Like, they did a whole thing on him. Yeah, it felt weird having a hair line.
Starting point is 01:51:05 You sweated it out, huh? Immediately, huh? The black pain is, like, dripping off his face. No, no, I took off my shirt. I was trying to keep it for one more day. And your hairlines left on your shirt. Oh. That was like it's over.
Starting point is 01:51:19 Yeah. His lifestyle's done. Wifee also got upset because once he turned into Edgar, he started asking for all the tias. Where all the tias at? Where the tias? Hey, I was just. telling him, man, hydra theias.
Starting point is 01:51:30 No. I told him a video I was dancing at the Kinsignette. Yes. Yes. You're an incredible dancer, first of all. I was busy. What Ginson were you at? One of my partners, his daughter.
Starting point is 01:51:43 That's awesome. And you were filling the eyes. Yeah, definitely. You got up and dance. I grew up, like, right next door to my house. They had parties Friday, Saturday, Sunday, all night long. So, yeah, I start jumping. the gate and getting a plate of food hope you took some back yeah that's vibes because even when we did
Starting point is 01:52:04 our live podcast at the novo you were up and you were dancing in the back with the group all that we had like that's what's so special and i love because this is los angeles black and brown mix like no other out here yeah so to see that happen it was just so vibes to me and coming up november 17th you're at the novo again right can we go yeah that'll be tight i need y'all there yeah i need that vibe yeah I need to get busy. Yeah, no, it's beautiful to see how you turn up and to see how the city comes behind you because there's much work and music
Starting point is 01:52:33 and I think sometimes you're unable to see the measure of success but when you go outside and people are bumping you, people love you, they see you, like they know G. Pereco as a staple of Los Angeles when that happens, it's like that you can't even quantify. That can't even be put on a measure. That's not even, can't be on billboard.
Starting point is 01:52:53 That's priceless. So I'm so. excited to even see the people show up for you. Yeah, yeah, that's super dope, man. Yeah, and talk to me about how you, how you curated the show, because you got the homies coming through with you. Yeah. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:53:04 You're not come alone. Like, me and Rucci is like, you know, dynamic duo. We always slam dunk. They like, man, try somebody. I'm like, man, if it's not broke, don't fix it. That's like, bro, bro, you know what I mean? And, um, Wally, you know what I mean? We had to add Wally, you know, and we got to, you know,
Starting point is 01:53:24 We got a surprise. We got a surprise. So we just not doing a show for nothing just to do a show. Right. There's something on the way. Yeah. That's fire. You've got to go AXS.com for your tickets, but is it cool?
Starting point is 01:53:38 Can we give a pair? Yeah, we could give some away. Can we give him? Mike, see, the ones you were going to give him and his brother? Can we give him that one? Yeah, yeah. Let's give him. I also just want to say, man, I really love, like, you know, I've seen G work hard for years.
Starting point is 01:53:52 And like this year, I've seen them zip lines. And then traveling and joined life. I've been living a little. Talk to us about that. Because I usually just be locked in the house mad scientist. Yeah. So I've been getting out a little bit. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 01:54:07 It'd be like house hood. Recording. That's it. Studio music videos. That's it. So yeah, I stepped out a little bit. Well, I just recently got my passport back. Oh.
Starting point is 01:54:20 So what's up. Yeah. So any chance I get right now, I'm out. Let's go. Let's go. Yeah, single for the summer. Single for the, single for the decade. No.
Starting point is 01:54:30 I'm looking at this, I'm looking at this tweet. I'm looking at this tweet, G. And you said, you said, just played single for the summer and realized I'm single for the winner too. I'm going to probably be single for life. Honestly, it's impossible to have somebody in my position. Yeah. Why is smiling when he says that? I mean, you know.
Starting point is 01:54:51 You don't want to miss his preco? Athia can't hold you down? Like full time? Atea could definitely hold me down. You know what I mean? But it can't hold me up though. Oh, wow.
Starting point is 01:55:02 I'm telling you, he talks in captions, you guys. You could tweet that right now. Athea could hold me up? Well, hold me down or not hold me up. Yeah, not hold me up
Starting point is 01:55:11 because it's a whole world out here. Yeah. To be explored. Oh, my gosh. You freak out. Let's go. Make sure you go stream the project right now. L.A. Summers 3.
