Starting point is 00:00:00 It's Faro-106, brown bag mornings, White Nose Diaz. Happy Friday! We're here. We made it to the end of the week. Some of us did. Not in here. If this was Survivor, dog,
Starting point is 00:00:09 half the cast is out. It's probably down to the final. Who's going to survive? Brown-Bag mornings. Yeah. All right, so that's Jose over there. Say hi, Jose. What up?
Starting point is 00:00:18 Yeah. He ate Greg and Vic. No. For Survivor. For Survivor. You would. Right? I guess so.
Starting point is 00:00:26 I guess so. Okay, look. Greg is out. he's going to go number one D-E-A somewhere. Vic is in Miami, right? Angelica, you know, she was gone at the beginning of the week because she had sick for like one day, then came back, and then yesterday she's like lost her voice completely.
Starting point is 00:00:43 So we're still trying to figure out. I think we are like patient ones and patient zeros over here because we're trying to figure out what you guys had. I don't know. Because then the day she was back, you were gone, Maximo, and you had the same symptoms of her, shivering, fever, like a sore throat. It was like 12 hours and then gone.
Starting point is 00:01:00 And then you guys were fine, or so you thought. And then yesterday she loses her voice at night. And then, Maximo, you have like a whole big old lump on your. You have a new Adam's apple. No, I just have like one of my airwaves is almost plugged up. Yeah, like closed up. It's crazy. That's how much he loves his job, though.
Starting point is 00:01:18 He came through. I'm here. Yeah. We're still trying to figure out what it is. Should he take a salt water bath or what is it? Or like a salt. What is it? A salt gargle?
Starting point is 00:01:28 Yeah, salt. Yeah, gargol warm water with salt. And Irizi's here? Yeah. Speaking of Gargling. Oh. Okay, Jose. I know I want you more on mic.
Starting point is 00:01:39 Calm down with that stuff, okay? I still want to have a job on Monday. We have a big old announcement on Monday, by the way. Yes, you do. If everyone's still here from Brownback Mornings, we are going to announce something that we've never done before, that power's never done before. And this could literally set the stage for, like,
Starting point is 00:01:57 what is something you look forward to every year when it comes to Power 106 and I'm so excited. I'm so excited. All right. Yeah, today though, today though, LA Kings take on the Tampa Bay Lightning Week and Maximum.
Starting point is 00:02:10 Yeah. It's Friday, so what does that mean? Leti, love is beautiful, love is sweet, and when we come back, we'll do the Simpa of the Week. Oh. Wow. Wow! He's a poet!
Starting point is 00:02:21 Your airwaves should be messed up and we're off. I know, right? Does that mean you do work? Keep here is Power 106. These are the nominees for the SMP of the Week. That's how I know these rules are new. You're supposed to do it with us, Jose. I thought we're doing a more dramatic engine.
Starting point is 00:02:41 Simps, sims, sims, sim, sim, sim, sim. No. Simp. Simp. There we go. Spoken like a true simp. All right. We're all filling in for everybody that's not here.
Starting point is 00:02:51 Right. You guys. We're working. All right, Maximo. Simp of the week. Who are the nominees, Pats. Yes, we got some nominees. Okay.
Starting point is 00:02:57 Our first nominee is Otani. So, Otani was in a press conference. Yeah, yeah, yeah. God, Otani has been all over. Yeah. He has a love money can't buy or win in a gambling. And during the conference, they asked him, what is your favorite part about your girl? And this is what he said.
Starting point is 00:03:17 Yeah, that's all. Why are you checking on me, bro? Sorry, my bad. I was like, okay, so I can't someone else. We all hear this. of the marriage questions on an interview earlier, so I don't want to really get into details here, but it is her first time coming with me to a game like this. So I think it's going to be really great memories for both of us. But like I said earlier, I had one job to focus on. So
Starting point is 00:03:46 it's baseball. Okay. So his answer, through his interpreter that's not fired for all of the gambling situations that he's through, my favorite part is like, hey, you know what? I just want to focus on baseball. On baseball. Right? Yes. But the moment was very awkward for him. Right. Because he looked at his teammates and they just all laughed together. When they brought up his girl.
Starting point is 00:04:06 Yeah. And also because the question was just weird. Like, you could say like, hey, what is the favorite thing about your girl? But they said, what is the favorite part about your girl? And that part got lost in translation too. And that's why they were like laughing like little girl.
Starting point is 00:04:17 And then, you know, boys would be boys. They're just like, yeah. They just look at each other and giggle. That's crazy. Do you think his favorite part of his wife is that he conveniently came out that he had a wife
Starting point is 00:04:27 while the gambling thing might be coming up? And it's like, hey, focus on this. Focus on the relationship. No, this is the best Otani Rola ever. My favorite thing is that maybe she could distract you from the fact that 4.5 million has gone somewhere else. Yeah, it's being investigated. Just kidding. Just kidding, you guys.
Starting point is 00:04:43 We love Otani, okay? And he loves Omani. Oh, he does. Shut off my guy. Our next nominee is rapper DDG. And he went on Instagram live. And during the live, he was having his own own award show. and it was strictly for his girl
Starting point is 00:05:02 Hallie Bailey Listen Hallie Bailey Hallie Bailey for the best woman award It doesn't get old Yeah For the next award
Starting point is 00:05:22 Hallie Bailey nominated again Again what the hell For her new single In Your Hand Best Artist Award Woo Oh my gosh
Starting point is 00:05:35 It's only corny Because nobody's doing that for me Yeah Because I'm like it's so corny But oh my God I would like to win some random Stupid awards in my living room For no reason
Starting point is 00:05:46 Yo And the thing else He continued He just went on He was Bailey nominated again The Best Sweetheart award That one is the one that got me
Starting point is 00:05:57 That's how I know she's me Award. Rally Bailey nominated once again for another award for the best partner award. Oh gosh.
Starting point is 00:06:12 You know that guy in the fight that week. I think he's a partner not baby mama. Yeah. True. That's my Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:20 But it was definitely simping that it's cute that he did this in his living room but the fact that he put it on life for everyone to see. He didn't produce it. You know. Like he does vlog
Starting point is 00:06:29 and other things where he really puts his time to invest in the whole production. Even a soundboard just for claps. Because he's like, whee-by himself. It's so funny. That's my favorite nominee so far. Yeah, me too. So next we have Jalen Green. So Jalen Green, there's been this drama because he recently got Dre and Michelle pregnant.
Starting point is 00:06:50 And he's been playing really well since. And they asked him after a game, like, you know, what's been going on? Like, you've been playing really good is what he said. All-Star break. You have been explosive. What is motivating you? My family. My family. My baby. So yeah. You're the best, Jalen. Thank you. Oh, gosh. My family. I'm doing good because my family. I'm not mad at that. You guys are just being me from. No, I'm not mad at it either. You guys are mean. I'm not mean. I like that one.
Starting point is 00:07:18 Okay. But he's a nominee. And then lastly is Dalton Gomez, who received $1.25 million from Ariana Grande after the split. Which is a king sim, you know? Because, like I had said, a lot of Latino men that I know personally, they usually are the ones that leave. I don't know why, but they're the family. Yeah. They have another house.
Starting point is 00:07:42 But to you, it's like, you're supposed to leave the girl that house, the girl's the money, you're not supposed to fight for anything. Nah, he's supposed to just keep it moving. Yeah. I wonder how many of those uncles that were, like, legally married and not like California married like you were like, that's just their be able to even be able to split these assets because this is a court proceeding. Like, if you divorce, they ask you, like, what assets do you guys have shared?
Starting point is 00:08:02 What assets do you want? Like, all of that. Hey, I would have just been like, yo, keep it all. No, you would not. No, you would not. If she cheated on you, you wouldn't. She cheated on him. You don't even want to move by it.
Starting point is 00:08:12 Ariana Grande. You got grandfathered into it. You're not going to give her anything. You're not going to give her the TV you guys both bought? That's true. See? Don't take the TV. See?
Starting point is 00:08:23 Okay. But those are our nominees. Those are our nominees. Okay, Maximization. Give it to me, dog. Like, tell me who is the nominee for, or who is the Simpa of the Week? I'll give you the drum roll. You do the people wait for like the end of the drum roll?
Starting point is 00:08:42 Oh, my bad. It's not your first week. I know, it is it? The Best Sweetheart Award. Oh, God. I love this because he did a whole ceremony for his girl. DDG, Simpa Best nominee for Simpa the Week. You got it, brother.
Starting point is 00:09:05 Sip! Sip! Sip! Sip! Sip! Sip! L.A's number one for hip-hop. Buenos Aires. Rosed Cranch.
Starting point is 00:09:14 Word on Rosecrans. And it's Maximil cover for Rosecrans Vick. Wait, where do I go? What is I was going to say? The word is, the word is Maximo's covering for Rosecrans Vick. Yes, the word is Maximo. Vic is in Miami.
Starting point is 00:09:27 Yes. But Dr. Dre just recently went on Jimmy Kimmel and announced that the rap god himself is going to drop new music this year. Dr. Dr. Dr. The rap god Eminem. Oh, okay. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:40 Oh, I was like, that's fine. Let me explain something. Yeah. You keep checking. Eminem is working on his own album, which is coming out this year, and I actually talked to him, and he said it was okay for me
Starting point is 00:09:56 to make that announcement right here on this show. That is so awesome. It's crazy, but to me, it's like, people are cheering, and it's like, am I really that excited for Eminem music? Okay, bro. Because they saw the applause button. Yeah, they did see the applause button.
Starting point is 00:10:10 He has a very crazy fan base, though. Yeah, and I feel like his fan base won't let him die. Literally, they will not let him rest. They won't. They're their original stand. And I'm just like, yo, bro, we got you. Like, you did enough for us. Just kick it.
Starting point is 00:10:24 I don't need no more from you. Oh. Is my headphones broken or does it sound static? Yeah, there's a little pop. Yeah, there's a little. That's so crazy. Oh, I hear it too? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:33 Yeah, I hear like, do, all right, it's okay. you guys were here together. I think it's Eminem. Someone has static in their hair. Is that what it is? No, it feels like whatever that sounds like. To me, it sounds like a record player before the record starts. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:10:47 It's a classic sound. I don't know. It's a classic sound. All right. Well, speaking of classic sound, Eminem, he's going to come back. And hopefully people will like it. He has dropped albums, though. Like, to me, this isn't a huge announcement.
Starting point is 00:10:58 Like, it's not like, finally back. However, what would be dope is if it's all over Dr. Drake production. Because why does Drey know? You know what? Right. And why is he's announcing it? And the first you probably ever heard of Eminem, the hi my name is, the guilty conscience, all of that is Dr. Dre produced. Right.
Starting point is 00:11:16 You what I'm saying? So, vibes. Shout of us. The really good stuff. What a waste of... Of Dr. Drake production? Yeah. Come on, Mom's like Eddie.
Starting point is 00:11:25 He's not going to let the beat breathe. Yeah. One breath. I agree. Yeah. But, hey, hopefully Dr. Drake could bring some sauce to him. Yeah. Go ahead.
Starting point is 00:11:35 Also, Tyler the Creak. just recently dropped his Louis Vuitton collaboration. And he was talking about how he was always ready for this. He wrote, I was not nervous, I did not feel pressure, I was beyond ready. And even when he was writing this, he wrote how he said, I started with stencils on Pro Clubs in 2004. Where did he make this statement on? On Instagram? On Instagram.
Starting point is 00:11:57 Okay, nice. Then he said, the ironons from Blockhead in 06, few lame prints in 2008. Yeah. And he just talked about his growth in fashion. As a fashion designer. Since he was 13 years old, he started designing. So now he's collaborated with one of the biggest brands ever, designer brands. And, you know, going through it, it's just really cool seeing him put his twist and flip on Louis Vuitton.
Starting point is 00:12:24 Of course. Even the color waves are different, super vibrant. And having his home eat taco model for it was really cool as well. No, he has a lot of his homies, but taco's definitely in it. What's funny is, like, these actual pieces, and I'm just looking at a few of the photos of, like, the collection, which is tight. It's really cool. But Loki, like, if you were around in the 2000s, this is a straight Duny and Burd. You know, like, when Lindsay Lohan would wear the Duny and Bourke, like, whatever, and I'm like, he probably saw that.
Starting point is 00:12:55 It was like, boom, that, but in Louie. And Loki's vibes. No, but it's different brand. Right, yeah, but, like, the inspiration. Yeah, the Duny and Burk allowed, they had, like, their bag. and then every other symbol was a different color, like pink, blue, purple, yellow, all that stuff. So he's bringing that back.
Starting point is 00:13:11 And if you're asking if you can afford it, no, you can't. I know. I was looking at one of the cheapest things, rings. It was to like 600 bucks. The rings are 600? Yeah. I'm seeing pants for a thousand.
Starting point is 00:13:22 And this is like a varsity jacket is $6,000, you guys. And granted, he deserves a shout on him, shout out of all the rich people that can afford it. Can we, I don't know, maybe my home grader at Sandy Ellie can do her magic. But also? Boom, we got it. These are pieces. It's not just like, like clothing, you know?
Starting point is 00:13:38 These are things when you buy and you can collect and you could hold over time and it still gains value. No, we're wearing that every day. If I'm paying, if I'm paying for this, what is that? Is that a cereal bowl? Yeah, cereal bowl and a spoon. How much? I love it. I don't know, but it looks crazy.
Starting point is 00:13:53 It looks cool. It doesn't feel it stuff for that price. Yeah. No, it's going to be something crazy for a cereal and a spoon. I like that because they always have like the, there's the stuff that's ready to. to wear the super expensive coats, super expensive bags and wallets. And then there's like the random things.
Starting point is 00:14:10 Always. There's probably going to be a pen or like a belt. No, the belt is expensive. They have like ties. They have these really cool like bracelets. A lot of the jewelry stuff. Yeah. Than like clothes.
Starting point is 00:14:22 Shout to my guy Tyler the Creator dog. That's so tight. That's so cool. Congrats to him. Congrats to his team and just the journey. And I remember when he first came out, people thought he dressed so weird. He was wearing like pink.
Starting point is 00:14:34 Like even when he's wearing like pink. Even when he was doing stuff with his brand, it was very off the wall. Super. But if you were on Fairfax, like, that was culture, like, odd future and what they were doing. And it's cool to just see him just be that guy for Louis Vuitton. And then people are going to start dressing like him. Sheesh. Dog, they have a golf bag because, you know, it's like golf lang.
Starting point is 00:14:51 Yeah. They have a golf bag, $31,000. Dog. Oh, yeah. They got laid away? Yeah, I'm just looking through this. It's crazy. Klarna?
Starting point is 00:15:03 Yeah. Bro, they have, no, shut up, Tyler. They have like, is this a, I hope this is not a keychain. It's a keychain. Oh, no, no. Look, yeah, it's a little dog. It's a little dog. It's a purse.
Starting point is 00:15:15 It's a purse for a dog. So I'm probably going to get this from my kids because supposedly we can have a dog because Jorge is allergic. But it's like a dog you can carry around you. It just costs $2,000, $2,300. Another dog that will get stolen if you're walking around Melrose with it. But shout out Tyler for that. Shout out Tyler.
Starting point is 00:15:33 That's cool, bro. So, yeah, I'm going to see what I can get on Klarna. Does Louis Vuittani say Klarna? I don't know, but I'm going to check it to listen. Let's split. One week, you won't meet me? No, no. You're going to get gold.
Starting point is 00:15:45 When it's your way, you're going to make a fake one and give me the fake one and keep the real one. I know you. That's a good idea. All right. All right. Well, that was your word on Rosecrans. I'm Maximo covering for Rosecrans, Vic. You are, my son, California, exquisite.
Starting point is 00:15:56 Yes. What's up? This is Be Real from Cyprus Hill. Where are you from, Es? Don't you know I'm local? It's a scamming jam, you guys, and not the cool one. Oh, not the dance? Not the cool dance.
Starting point is 00:16:11 Scamming has gone to the next level. Actually, home burglaring. So different cities are advising their residents that if you have a ring camera, any type of camera or security system that's connected via Wi-Fi. You know how you could get on the app and check what's going on on your ring camera or different cameras of that sort, that that that is actually a red flag and a green flag for people that are trying to rob your house. Because now they got these Wi-Fi jammers that will block certain signals with your Wi-Fi for at least a little bit that will kind of like deactivate the connection between the camera and the Wi-Fi. So you won't know when things are going down.
Starting point is 00:16:48 It'll just be like offline or something of that nature. Which is crazy and insane. But wow, it feels like a detective movie. Like, wow, they got jammers for Wi-Fi. I did not know that was a thing. There's an uptick in different burglaries around cities like Glendale, Burbank. and they're like, hey, please, please make sure that if you actually have security systems, you hardwire them. So go back to it being like the little number on your, when you come into the house, the little code and stuff like that or your cameras and stuff like that.
Starting point is 00:17:17 Because it's scary. You know what's crazy is that all the effort the scammers put into like all these white jammers. Go get a job. I literally think of that the whole time. Like I remember when they took my like info on like my credit card. Like when they got my credit card stuff, I'm like, dog, this is. sophisticated stuff. You know, like, go to ITT Tech Dog or something and, like, make something great.
Starting point is 00:17:39 Right. For real, for real. For real. Yes. Like, come on. Yeah, we're going to do something right. Like, give me a college degree, you know? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:46 But you know what I think when it comes to the, when it comes to the, like getting cards and getting credit card information and all of that? Since you can't see who you're robbing, it feels like you're not robbing anyone, right? It's kind of like, if you push this button, you'll get a million dollars. But someone somewhere will die. It's like that theoretical question. Do you push the button? Right.
Starting point is 00:18:05 More than likely, we'll push the button because we don't know who's dying, where in the world. We couldn't even think in our head. It's probably someone bad. And they also know that there's insurances. Like every insurance. Well, sometimes. Everybody has an insurance limit that they could cover. So that's what they.
Starting point is 00:18:19 I don't know. Because that can mess up your whole time. I remember I was at Legoland with my son David. And that's when it happened. And it was right before Christmas. And even if we do a dispute, it's going to take a while. Yeah. Like we went for his birthday.
Starting point is 00:18:32 And that ended like end of November. and I was so distraught because it happened while I was in Legoland. I couldn't buy anything. I felt like I was like violated. We go home. Like I just didn't know what to do and I couldn't figure it out. It just, and luckily, like, it was just ruining my day at Legoland, right? There's other people where it's like, dog, rent is due or dog.
Starting point is 00:18:52 Like, I don't really have money like that and you took money from me. You know, it's crazy for me. It was that they ruined my credit because they got a bunch of cards and maxed them out in my name. And I didn't know until like I logged in. I was like, I've never even been to these stores. Oh, Maximo. And then like since they max them out and I have to report them, then it like pretty much messes your credit up.
Starting point is 00:19:13 Right. The credit union can't trust you pretty much for a while. So to this day, my credit is down because of them. So whoever you are, I will find you. Yeah, that's what mine is messed up too. You're really quiet, Jose, but you have a lot of money for some reason. Yeah. For a videographer, you're very rich.
Starting point is 00:19:26 Yeah, it's really crazy. You'd have air one all the time. No, you know what's crazy with the damage similar to that? they say not to keep your keys close to the door because it's a similar device where it could duplicate your key and they could turn on your car and just take off with it What do you mean close to the door? Like you know how people hang their...
Starting point is 00:19:43 It's something like Fast and Furious. People hang... No, that exists. There's YouTube videos. But what, what, what? You know how people keep their keys close the door like they get there, hang up their keys? Oh, by the house?
Starting point is 00:19:55 Yeah, at your house. Oh, okay, okay, okay. People could go up to your door and duplicate your keys just because it's close to... Because your keys now have a little. Because the keys now. The push the start. Key.
Starting point is 00:20:06 Yeah. Oh, the car keys. Mm-hmm. Oh, my God. Isn't that crazy? That's so scary. You guys are so smart robbers. Like, literally.
Starting point is 00:20:13 I'm sure you could do something. I'm sure there's something where that skill set can be applicable. They can make like flying cars already or something. Yeah. I need to hurry up on that. That's so wild. Now I'm scared. All right.
Starting point is 00:20:24 Check your camera. Check your Wi-Fi. Check everything. Don't have Wi-Fi or hard wire that. And to me, I'm like, dang, all the security systems that stop getting service like a brinks or something and shout out to all the security systems but because people are like oh i have a ring camera i'm fine or whatever now they're like back in the game like they got to call us up to set this whole thing up what are the other ones doing that
Starting point is 00:20:44 wow oh wow look at us all right look it here because on the way we have the homie helpline this Friday and yes we need help because a lot of our homies are sick uh Angie lost her voice Vic is somewhere in Miami pooracito um he's gonna come back with something what do you guess. Let's guess. What he comes back with? A little bump up? Oh, this. The clap. I don't know what that is. The clap, it's, yeah. Yeah, it's a, it's a, okay, never, all right. All right. Or some souvenirs. There may be like some, some refrigerator magnets. Maybe, that's cool. All right. Keep it here, though. We got the homie help line on the way. Maximo. Which homie are we helping today? We're helping the homie Alonzo. He got beef with his, with his father-in-law and wants him
Starting point is 00:21:31 the pay up. Okay. So we're going to talk about it. Let's do it. It's Power 106. It's Power 106. Brownback mornings, Buenos Aires. Happy Friday.
Starting point is 00:21:42 Oh, it's so funny that we were just playing first-person shooter, Drake, featuring J. Cole. Because I don't know if you knew this, but last night, Metro Boomin and Future dropped an album called We Don't Trust You. Featuring Kendrick Lamar. And I love it, and it surprises me that they don't put who the features are. I hate when they do. Because they want you to be surprised. And boy, were we surprised. When we listened to this song, like.
Starting point is 00:22:04 that that I'm about to play, okay, and we're going to break it down later, but I have to play this, okay? You have to hear this, especially after you just heard first person shooter, J. Cole and Drake, Spider-Man, meme is me looking at drag, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Because Kendrick Lamar had some things to say, okay, and you're going to hear it all, and then we're going to break it all down coming up at 8.30, okay? We also have Homi Helpline, and we have shoutouts on the way, but before all that, I had to hit you with this new song. It's called Like That Future and Metro Boomin off their new album. We don't trust you
Starting point is 00:22:35 featuring the goat of all goats. Right. Kendrick Lamar. Check this out. It's Power 106. LA's number one for hip-hop. Come on. Oh, my gosh.
Starting point is 00:22:49 And the easy-E sample. Oh, my goodness gracious. That's new music like that future in Metro Boomin featuring Kendrick Lamar. And yes, Kendrick Lamar went at who you think he went at. He went at. Everybody. No, not everybody.
Starting point is 00:23:02 Drake. The top. And Jay Cole. I would have preferred him going up at everybody else, but Jay Cole. But here we are, okay? I remember I'm like, I never would see that if Jay Cole and Kendrick beefed, I'd have to be cut in half because I wouldn't know who to go for.
Starting point is 00:23:16 Well, anyone have a saw? Who tried to come here to have? This is happening, you guys. This is in real life. All right? We're going to break everything down because there's so much to break down because rat beef is like ogres. And ogres are like onions and they have a lot of layers. And there's so many layers to this, you guys.
Starting point is 00:23:31 And they're all crazy drama. I love it. Super novella, okay? I love it. I love rap beef too. But I also love our listeners, and we have shoutouts to give, right? I'm sorry, who is shouting up? All right, today is Mario, I'm sorry, oh my gosh.
Starting point is 00:23:43 Mario wants to shout out his son Aden for his birthday. Aiden! And then Shane wants to shout out his son, Oliver. Oliver. Vanessa wants to shout out the Jimenez family. They're traveling today. Okay. She wants to wish all of them safe travels.
Starting point is 00:23:58 Happy trails. Are we there yet? Yeah. Damn, for sure. Are we there yet? Are we there yet? Are we there yet? And Ezekiel wants to shout out his brother Leo and his mom, Daisy.
Starting point is 00:24:06 that listen to us every morning. Oh, Leo and Daisy. Such a cute name. Greg is so happy. He's not here today. For real. Sorry, Daisy, nothing against you. That's just his ex's name.
Starting point is 00:24:15 Okay, sorry. Aiden, happy birthday, bro. Feliz Cunplanos. Adi. All right, check this out, homie. You need a homie or need some help. We need your help. We need a line.
Starting point is 00:24:27 I mean, phone line. We got you for the homie help line. Alonso, send us a DM. Alonso. Howdy, Brownbag? Howdy? Faithful listener every day from Amarillo, Texas. Oh, Texas.
Starting point is 00:24:40 Amarillo. Howdy. I listen to all while working hauling fuel. But I'm in need of a homie help line. He listens to us while he's hauling fuel. Okay. Very texting of him. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:51 So it says, so my lady got into a car accident a few months ago and was out of a car for a while. So I decided to fix the car. I paid for the parts and put the time to fix the car. Well, she says she didn't want it anymore because she didn't feel safe in it. which is fine to me, so she got a big pickup. Fast forward a couple months ago, the Swaygro uses the car now. Is it wrong for me to ask for the money back
Starting point is 00:25:15 that I put into the vehicle? Cost me about four figures in parts, not to mention my time I put in. Oh, and he also says he is going to give me the money when you can, but it's been over a year since I fixed the car, and he's been using it since. Oh, so he already did tell the Svigro you got to pay you. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:32 Okay. And then he's like, plus the, money would really help since the truck, since my truck needs it to fix the engine. Are you okay, bro? Sorry, it's just the way he wrote it. Since I need to fix the engine on my truck. Okay. So his new car, his car needs repairs.
Starting point is 00:25:48 Yes. And he's like, hey, remember that one time I repaired my girl's car only for her to then give it to her dad? I need that money that I put into my girl's car. Yeah. Wow. Which, the swaglo's been driving already for a year. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:26:01 So it's like, hey, like pay up, honey. They mind them Because parents Like not parents Oh my God But people forget When they borrow money sometimes Especially if they're like
Starting point is 00:26:11 A juvie? Yeah No they know It's in their mind As soon as they see you They know And they're like Oh they would excuse to have today
Starting point is 00:26:17 What excuse to have today Or they on purpose They act dumb Yeah But I don't know That the guy owes them to begin with Because I know you're saying Like when someone owes you money
Starting point is 00:26:28 Right But why does the To me why does it doubt owe you money No because it's Why on earth does it doubt owe you money Yeah, because the daughter gave him the car. Yes, because if she was like, hey, can you put money into this so I could give it to my dad or whatever? Or, hey, I need the car fix and then eventually ended up giving it to her dad.
Starting point is 00:26:45 Or she could have said like, hey, I want to sell this car to my dad. Yeah. Right? But if there's no clarification and she kind of just handed it down. I don't think I could ever sell a car to my dad. Yeah, it's crazy. Yeah. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:26:59 I don't think of it. Yeah. Now I'm thinking about it, but my dad, my dad one time sold the car. car to my brother. Yeah. Yeah. So then I'm sure my brother was to have a car to my dad. I'd sell a car to my Tio all day every day and I would make them like I would I would cheat my Tio out of the car. I'd like yeah there's nothing wrong. Whatever they do on the Craigslist I would do that to my Tio he deserves it. Yeah no. He deserves it. All right. Look hit us up. What would you tell? What's his name? Alonzo. Alonso and I love that he's in
Starting point is 00:27:29 Texas. I hope that your girl and her and your swagger don't know his name. Right. In the truck? In the truck that you fixed up? Or is he in the right? Does he deserve it because you put the money up in the car, thinking that it was towards his girl, and then it turns out to be for the suegro. Like, she ends up giving it to her dad.
Starting point is 00:27:46 Okay? It's kind of her fault. Not like her fault. No, yeah, but. But like it's her fault for not communicating, like, hey, I'm going to give this to my dad. I just think there's some things that you do for family and there's something that you do for your relationship
Starting point is 00:27:57 that you shouldn't invoice. Like, you shouldn't, like, you know what I'm saying? Right. It's kind of. Yeah, no, no, I get you. I'm 100% with that. Like, when it comes to family, it's just like, yo, you don't charge for it. When you figure it out, like, you got me.
Starting point is 00:28:09 And maybe he's just feeling it more, Alonsoa, I know you're listening. Maybe you're just feeling it more because you're in need right now. Because you see, like, and that's what we all do. Like, when we need money, we remember, oh, this and this and this person and blah, blah, blah, blah. You see how spending money and this or this. You know, love a daughter. Oh, me. Or he should just trade trucks.
Starting point is 00:28:27 Trade trucks. Might be a good option. Keep it here. It's five six. All right, check this out, homie. If you need a homie or need some help, we need your help. We need a line. I mean, phone line.
Starting point is 00:28:39 We've got to for the homie help line. Alonso needs our help. Alonso needs our help. His swelro is riding around getting it while he's trying to fix his truck. His swigro has inherited what once was Alonzo's girl's truck, right? There was a truck and the girl was driving it. She got an accident. Alonso fixed it up.
Starting point is 00:28:58 It probably was her fault if he had to fix it. No insurance involved. They didn't call Esther. They didn't call me James. True. But they got the car fix. He paid for it. Then she gives the car to her pops.
Starting point is 00:29:11 Right. Right? She gives the car to her pops. And her pops, it's been a year. He's been driving it. And Alonso's like, hey, should he pay me the money that I spent on it? Yeah, I can see Alonzo, like, look into the crack of the window and just, like, seeing it drive off the driveway. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:26 I just paid for all of that. And it might not have, it's been a year. Because so Alonso, he just like, should I have my, should he owe me? But then he also said he told me that he's going to pay me, but it's been a year and he hasn't. So Alonso probably already told him, hey, pay me for this. You're right. Like, hey, put some bread up for it. He wants the second approach to be less aggressive probably.
Starting point is 00:29:45 Right. How to come back around after he's told him, hey, pay me for this car. But also, it's been a year. Right. Because it doesn't seem like he like him. Right. Which is a different, like a good situation. It's never the Swagros that don't, that get the hate, to be honest.
Starting point is 00:29:57 It is it? It's a sui gras. It's true. Yeah, all right. But the Suido has not given him any money for a year, and now Alonza's car needs work. And he just keeps remembering all that money. That's true. For a kid.
Starting point is 00:30:13 Give my money! So we're seeing how we can help him out. We can help him shake his Swagro for some cash. Or is it the girl's fault? It kind of is. Or is it his fault? Why do you? Why do you?
Starting point is 00:30:25 You should let her do it. Equal rights. Let her put her. Her money came up with me. That's what we mean. I think it's her. She got to be like, oh, pops. Pay up, honey.
Starting point is 00:30:37 Okay. All right. That's a lot. Irizi. Who's on the line? We actually have our homie on the line. Alonso's on the line? Yes.
Starting point is 00:30:45 He's on line. Alonso. Hey, bro. Good morning. Good morning, Brown Bay. How's it going? Hey, do you really say howdy over there in Texas because you started your DM with howdy. We say howdy.
Starting point is 00:30:56 We say y'all. Oh, okay. Howie. Okay, there's a snake in your boots, all that good stuff. Talk to us about the situation, because we have questions. Did you already ask your swigel for some bread? So, no, I haven't asked them, but he, like, first, he told me first. Like, Mi'ho, I know, you know, you put some money up.
Starting point is 00:31:13 Give me some time to get the bread, and I'll give it to you. And it's been a while, and I haven't gone to yet. So you were, like, super chill, super gentleman, super like, yeah, okay, okay, brother, you're going to get to me when you can, and he hasn't. And now you want to know how to approach him about giving you the money, especially because your car needs work. What's wrong with your car? I'm just to swap the engine out pretty soon. Dang. Just swap the engine out.
Starting point is 00:31:35 Yeah, that's it? Like light. Okay, your girl, what car accident did she get into that you even fix the car in the first place? So about a year ago, we had a bad snowstorm and she was going to work. And I guess, you know how she slid on my eyes, hit a curve, and it messed up the front end. Curb came out of nowhere, even over there. Okay, so she messed up. How much money did you put into it?
Starting point is 00:32:00 A little over four figures. A little over four figures. Just for the bumper? For the bumper? That's crazy. Over a curb, bro? Well, it was more than just the bumper. It was some like transmission stuff and some lines.
Starting point is 00:32:15 What kind of curves they have over there in Texas? For real. Was it a border? Was it a border walker? Everything is bigger in Texas. You know the curves are bigger. And so all the problems are just way, girl. All right.
Starting point is 00:32:27 So now, Then what happened? How long was it after that that she gave the car to her dad? And what was that situation? Like, why did she do that? She really, like, never gave him the car. It's just when he goes to work. He would always, like, ask for rides.
Starting point is 00:32:40 Uh-huh. So he basically just picked it up and started using it. Okay. So it was like a, like, and then. He slowly got comfortable. He got comfortable in the car, like, co-using it with her. And then he just took it over. Did she get a new car or was she riding around?
Starting point is 00:32:54 She got, like, a brand new GMC Sierra. Okay. So she got. You've got trucks like nothing over there? No, what? Is there no taxes over there or what? Texas. It's mandatory you need to have a truck.
Starting point is 00:33:05 What? What? I don't think mama lona over there. All right, so there's new trucks everywhere. You got a truck. You get a truck. You get a truck. But you want money back from your Suegro?
Starting point is 00:33:16 Hey, hey. I mean, I don't need the money, but it would help a lot, you know? Yeah. Yeah. In this economy? No, shut up. You have a way better economy than we. I don't feel sorry for you.
Starting point is 00:33:26 I don't feel sorry for you. You were flexing these whole past five minutes. Okay. No, it's that we're doing, dude, for what we got. Wow, we do too, bro. Yeah, no, I feel it. I feel it. Okay.
Starting point is 00:33:35 Such expensive. Insurance is expensive. All of that is expensive. Yeah. Okay. Alonso, what does your girl say? Have you talked to her about getting the money from your dad, her dad? Yeah, I barely started talking here when I wrote this DM.
Starting point is 00:33:48 And I don't know, we just like put it to the side every time. Oh. Okay. I love how you hit us up first. He's cool, man. I love that we're those homies. get the van. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:33:58 You vent to us and, yeah. Can I give a shout out to my cousin, Kenny, that put me on to y'all? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. What's up? What's up? Kenny.
Starting point is 00:34:05 What? How about you? I'm yeah. Oh, yeah. What? I'm doing. We're slacking. We're slacking over there.
Starting point is 00:34:12 You guys, I'm not going to lie, the Texas accent, the cool stuff that you guys have. I'm very jealous. Very, very jealous. But we need to get this money for you. You hate your girl. What? We're not pressing the swagger. No, no, we are.
Starting point is 00:34:25 Okay. Maybe we can get a truck out of this. you know, Trugs. Hey, your girls just puts it off to the side. She's like, I get it,
Starting point is 00:34:32 but like, what is your, what is your, what is your suigros do? Um, he's like landscaping, you know, a little,
Starting point is 00:34:38 you know, he has to be funny. But what is his suegro? He gave you, he gave you your beautiful girl. Like he, like he, without him,
Starting point is 00:34:50 you wouldn't have her. He didn't give me to her. I stole her. You stole her. Okay, so let's try to figure it out. The girl, his girl keeps pushing it off. The suegro, this day laborer, this gardener, works hard. Don't do it like that. He doesn't have his own. Humble man. He built his truck with his bare hands. Did everything for his kids. Yeah, back hers. Oh my God. The other dad was driving home and I saw a gardener open the back of his truck and he's putting on like a backpack, a leap lower. But I saw him like, like struggle. Like, poor-cito. Probably like 70 years old.
Starting point is 00:35:24 still like putting on the thing over his shoulder. Yeah, but this is what he got to do. So that guy in Texas, okay? They want to shake him for some bread, right? My girl always says the saying, right? And I don't know if any other country uses it. She's also Chilean. Yeah, she says,
Starting point is 00:35:39 Las Casas Agenas, Reina la Desgracia. Meaning, like, things, like they are not yours, always ends up bad. Wow. Yeah. Why did she say that to you? I don't know. No, she said it to her.
Starting point is 00:35:50 Yeah, stop looking at her. Las Casas de lairaira. Reina la Descacia! Something like that. I forgot why. It's true. And I'm thinking about it. She stole you that because you hoard all this vintage stuff.
Starting point is 00:35:59 Yeah. Or is it because you keep stealing stuff from other people? I don't steal, okay? Oh no, Las Casas haina. Okay, that's cool being from Texas. I like it. Yeah. But being from California is so much better.
Starting point is 00:36:12 I don't know. Yeah, I have to hold off on my Texas appreciation because I went to San Antonio. Amazing. It was so nice. They had the bridge where Selena is all of that stuff. Buckeys Yeah But they're not Los Angeles
Starting point is 00:36:27 They're not Los Angeles I love where I'm from I love where I'm from Grass is not greener Grass is not greener How do you know people from Texas like that It's because they're bigger The Edgars
Starting point is 00:36:36 No not those No no I've just Everything's bigger in Texas Yeah Yeah They're They're
Starting point is 00:36:42 Hey y'all But you know why I can't like them Because the freaking Astros Astros Astros ruin all of Texas For me All of it? Yeah all of it
Starting point is 00:36:52 And it's a big old It's just the little section in Houston. Astros and racism, but it's okay. I'm used to that. Yeah. All right. Well, let's go to the phone line, okay? Because Alonso hit us up.
Starting point is 00:37:04 He gave his girl a truck. She ran over a curb. Would you look at that? That never happens. It really messed up to everything, though. Yeah, because he said that it was the ice. And because of ice. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:37:16 And because last year, I think it was last year two years ago. It was when Texas had a bunch of storms. And they never had experienced that. Oh, yeah. We did have storms, too. But they had like snowstorms stuff like that. Snowstorm that they never experienced.
Starting point is 00:37:26 Okay, so she never experienced that. She hit the car, hit the bumper, all of that. And he fixed it. It costs him $4,000. Then the suegro, who is a day laborer, works hard for his money. He probably still doesn't even.
Starting point is 00:37:38 He probably works three times, like what everybody else does, but makes three times less. Like, it's really, my spalda. No, no, no, no. Much of you. Much of my God.
Starting point is 00:37:47 Much of my God. This is like when you meet somebody. He probably cooks for her. makes her coffee, cuts her fruit. That's what my dad is. Loving dad. Tell me about your dad, Irene. How much you love your dad?
Starting point is 00:37:59 Man, I love him a lot. He probably, you know, he probably tried to fix the car himself. Yes, he's like, you know what? I could, oh, he probably said, let me fix the car. And he's like, no, no, Zueiro. No, I got it. I got it. Spend $4,000.
Starting point is 00:38:10 Spend $4,000. I got it probably could have done it for $500. I'm going to like. For real. It might be some wires and string, but hey, it works. Does it work? A zip time? Yes.
Starting point is 00:38:17 Hey, the zip ties all my car together. Okay? Did your dad put zip ties? Yeah, that's what I would do that. But it works. It gets me to work everyday maximus. That part. Al-a-da.
Starting point is 00:38:26 I get fun of him. Function over style, okay? So anyways, he does all of that for his beautiful, sweet daughter, thinking that his Nuerre, or, I don't know if they're together or not. Alonso would be appreciative of that. Instead, Alonso was like, hey, pay my money up that I spent on this car. No, no, no, Alonso didn't say that. Oh, what do you say?
Starting point is 00:38:42 Hey, you could borrow this car. Just pay me when you can. And then the Swagro just came over every day. It's been a year. You know what? the swagger you know first you'd be like yo can i borrow the car yeah and then can't borrow the car yeah can i borrow the car yeah
Starting point is 00:38:54 and then you just stopped asking somewhere there's family members in mexico that aren't getting any wire transfers because the suegro's probably saving up those four thousand dollars you don't just make four thousand dollars dog that's a lot of money yes it takes time probably takes more than a year dog give him some time it's four thousand dollars no APR no oh my god
Starting point is 00:39:11 so alonso wants his money from esau and we need to help him okay uh who's on the line mamma's gonna say now of course We have Ralphie from Ontario on line three. All right. Ralphie. Yovalu, Ralphie. Good morning. Good morning, y'all.
Starting point is 00:39:24 What's up, Ralphie? All right, we've got this complicated situation. I'm thinking, you know what? The Suegro, he's old school, so he's got pride, and who knows, he could be saving up the money, or he just can't do it right now at this time. And since he did it for her, and that's his girlfriend, and they're still together, you know, he has to honor that as hard as it may be. But then he has to look at it with this perspective.
Starting point is 00:39:46 Suegrero's not going to be asking for money. things like that also he maybe he can say hey can you help me do a project can you help me do something maybe and then he can help help like that and then last last but not least what you guys said that's his daughter that's his precious daughter and entitlements one thing but you know what that that that's that his precious daughter and you know he he he's taking care of her and he gave life to the daughter and you know that that that's that's something that counts for something yeah it's so so complicated so i'm saying that for the homie alonzo you're gonna have to bite the bull it for a little bit longer because it's only been 12 months.
Starting point is 00:40:20 And like you said, he's working hard. So let's let time play out. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. Let the soo dice and then after that. Keep the truck after. He get the truck. Or some life insurance.
Starting point is 00:40:31 I don't know. I don't know. Don't kill him though. Okay. Irene, what did you say? No, don't. Report the truck stolen area? That's what you said?
Starting point is 00:40:36 No, somebody in her comments said, just report the trick stolen. And I'm like, that's so sad. He's going to go to jail when he's finding. He's going to not be able to go to work. There's nothing wrong with the Swoero over here. No. But I do like the. like the, hey, if he can't pay you back
Starting point is 00:40:48 and money, have you, have him pay you back and work, because you know, that's all he's been doing his whole life. That's crazy. Hey, I need some new trees. Yeah, hey, he's a gardener, he's a, he's a landscaper. He already works 10 times more and makes less. No, he can't do that. Yeah, that's crazy. So,
Starting point is 00:41:04 have him, have him, you know, he said he needs to restructure the whole engine or whatever? Yeah. Yeah. Whatever he doesn't know how. Like, hey, this money that you would have given me, I would have used on this, so since I don't. Here, you fix it.
Starting point is 00:41:17 Here, take it. So he's going to sit there and tell him how, but he's going to have him to it. No, he's going to let the Suagro do it. The Suagro probably knows how to do a lot of stuff. I'm sure he does. Yeah. My dad can do so many things. Alonzo says he has more days off than me and works his 40 hours.
Starting point is 00:41:30 Alonzo, I don't feel sorry for you. I feel sorry for Alonzo. He probably, in America standards, he probably deserves retirement. But he doesn't because he's a strong, hardworking man. And it doesn't matter, full, you stole his daughter. So he said it. You're in debt for life. He said.
Starting point is 00:41:42 Alonto's daddy now. That's it. Yeah. You don't have to call him Daddy even. No. Yeah, not like you have a truck. You're never going to get a wife. That's daddy.
Starting point is 00:41:52 I don't know, you're daddy. To both of them. No. Okay. Irene, we have more people on the line. Who do we have on the line, baby girl? We have Fur from Boyle Heights to Lightwood. Okay. Fern.
Starting point is 00:42:01 Fern. Fern. Yo. Where you been? What up? Helping other homies? A lot of, a lot of stuff's been going on. Damn.
Starting point is 00:42:08 Where you locked up? He almost said yet. It's okay, bro. It's okay. It happens. It happens. What you think is? I don't want to incriminate.
Starting point is 00:42:15 myself. All right. No wait, no way. Yeah. It's okay. You did it. You're from Bo Heights. Kidding, kidding, kidding.
Starting point is 00:42:20 Check this out. So coming from somebody who lost, I just recently lost my suitor. Oh, damn. Why you let me clown you? Damn, bro. And then you did that. I didn't know that he was going to say that. I'm sorry, bro.
Starting point is 00:42:34 My bad, bro. I'm so sorry. Is that what you were enjoying? You know, it's life. I know, I know stuff happens. But this man, what I would happen was that, you know, he did a lot for me, you know? And I figured like, like, Like in this guy's situation, Alonzo, bro, don't charge this man.
Starting point is 00:42:49 Don't charge him because he's going to come up on something that's going to be valuable to you. And he's probably just going to let you have it, though. Like his daughter, he let you have his daughter. Take that into consideration. But trust me, when it comes to stuff like this, when it's stuff that's like, those $4,000, you're going to recuperate them. Whether it's today, whether it's tomorrow, whether it's a year from now. Don't put this man in that situation because trust me, it's valuable. It's valuable time that you guys are going to have.
Starting point is 00:43:11 And you're going to have to learn to at some point not have that there anymore. You're going to miss, like, bugging him for $4,000 if he passes away. You're going to miss chasing him for him. Yeah. No, for real. Yeah. Man. Not but for real, dude.
Starting point is 00:43:24 I mean, it comes down to a point where it's like, do you know, I really, I mean, I should have took this with my girl with, I would have should have talked with my girl. You know what? If you don't feel safe in this car, then there's no need for me to fix it. People buy cars like that. People buy cars that are crashed. Yeah. You know?
Starting point is 00:43:39 So, you know, I mean, it was kind of, it was kind of on his, on his behalf that he didn't mention that to his girl. and his girl, there was miscommunication between the two. Right. So I think that in all reality, just let those $4,000 go. It's worth more of the friendship than to lose out on something that's all about. Man, firm, that's so perfectly said, man. And again, we send you our condolences.
Starting point is 00:44:00 For sure. And love to you, bro. You always check in with the show. You're always so funny. We've met you in person. And we just sang you, your girl, and the whole family so much love, bro. Appreciate that. Appreciate you guys.
Starting point is 00:44:13 Of course. Honestly. Of course. Appreciate your friend. clicked on them. All right. Irene, can you get me someone that's not to make me crying on my dad? I can't make any promises. We have Joshua from Hollywood
Starting point is 00:44:23 on my board. Hey Joshua, what's up, fool? I'm scared. Buenos deos, brown bag. Buenos deez, Joshua, talk to us. What would you tell this while Alonso over there in Texas? Man, what I told Irene was that we were going to have to run his pockets, but the guys can boil him. I don't know anymore.
Starting point is 00:44:42 I don't know anymore. Okay, let's pretend you never heard Fern say anything. Okay, you would run his pockets like how? Like you would just like shake him down every time he got home or what? You guys got to promise me I can't be canceled because that was really sad. Yeah, that was so sad, bro. All right. Yeah, like I was really so hyped to speak and I'm just like, dang.
Starting point is 00:44:59 Yeah. But I never heard this, right? Let's say. Yeah, let's like, rew-re-re-re-wee. Let's go to the first caller and we haven't talked to anybody else. What's up, bro? How are you doing? I'm doing good.
Starting point is 00:45:11 I'm doing good. I'm right outside of the officeina. It's my last day I work. So I'm hyped. I'm ready to see it. Why are you quitting? What's going on? Why is it your last day at work?
Starting point is 00:45:18 I am quitting. Let's go. I hope that's a good thing. I know. You got another job, right? Oh, yeah, yeah. I got another job lined up. Okay, okay, okay, yeah.
Starting point is 00:45:28 You know, but, yeah. All right, talk to us. What I was saying was, yeah, you got to, I mean, if you fix it up for your girl, you put all that money, time and effort into your girl, and she just gave it away. I'd be a little press myself. I didn't know what's going on. Why are you doing that? Like, we, man, he didn't say, because I heard him speak on
Starting point is 00:45:44 radio he didn't say that like she said anything. Right. She said that he she just passes it off. She just like, um. Yeah. So if we're passing stuff on, I'm going to have to pass $4,000 in my pocket. Like when, uh, you know, I wouldn't just hit it up like that. But, um, he does sound like you dwell off because he has like,
Starting point is 00:46:00 Yeah, he got another truck. They, these fools just love trucks over there. Trucks just rain. I know. Yeah. Yeah, I know. He makes me not want to quit my job. That part. He's the right. Like, dang, you're moved to Texas. Is that why they're moving to Texas for the trucks? Is it like, hey, buy a home get a truck free over there.
Starting point is 00:46:16 Imagine? I'm giving them out. I know. All right. But you would say, how are they going to shake the swaggo for the money? Like literally as soon as he came home or what? Put him on a payment plan? I mean, like, I would bring it up.
Starting point is 00:46:28 Not necessarily, no disrespectful pressing, but I would bring it up and be like, hey, you know, it's been a little while now. Are you struggling what's going on? I kind of need the money back. Do you want to set something up? Machimo said $4,000 no APR. I fully believe in that. Oh, my gosh.
Starting point is 00:46:42 He's not going to charge any interest. So, yeah. You're back. Okay, Joshua. You know what I'm thinking? Is that the sense of the daughter always brushes it off, like the girl. I think she's like said, oh, no, dad, like, don't worry about it. And doesn't want to have the argument.
Starting point is 00:46:55 Of course. I would tell me that whole time. It's a grimy. Start selling your girl stuff. Don't take it out on the swigolds. Leave this. Protect the swagittals at all cause, bro. They're here for a limited time.
Starting point is 00:47:07 Yeah, for real. Now, a humble man like the swigoro keeps a lot of cash somewhere. Yes. Just skim a little off the top. All right. Now you're telling Secretos for, and we don't like that, okay? That is violating the Paisa code of the United States. Hey, the lemit tree in the back of the house.
Starting point is 00:47:20 No. It's right there. It's somewhere around the world. No! Okay, this drama is going down with the Royals, okay? Go ahead. You do it. I'm watching you want to do it.
Starting point is 00:47:39 Hold on. We're doing technical. Go ahead, go ahead. Multitasking. Here. Okay. The Royals, the royal family, La freaking Kate Middleton. Oh, I thought you talking about me.
Starting point is 00:47:48 La de Mereo de Toto. Okay? So there's drama with Kate Middleton. It's been about a couple months of speculation about her. And I first saw this because there's like photos of her, but we don't know what the photos are and people are like, is this AI? This isn't really heard. This is Photoshop.
Starting point is 00:48:02 I think there's recently one that was like a video of Prince William and Kate Middleton being like, oh, they're at like some farmers market or they're shopping. And people are like, this is not Kate Middleton. Yeah. Even the girl that it was did a whole TikTok or something. like hey that was me that was not k middleton so where the freak is k middleton you guys this is what everyone's trying to figure out and there's so much speculation and it's in the uk like a speculation of the uk but you know travels over here we love the royal drama
Starting point is 00:48:31 i love it i don't i don't understand like the obsession with like the royal family what do you mean they're the royal i don't know have you ever heard diana yeah have you ever heard the lord son can we want to be wrong no and then uh my girl watching uh my girl watching the just all the shows. The crown? All of that. Oh, yeah. And I'm just like,
Starting point is 00:48:52 why. So it's not that you don't understand the royals. You just don't understand your girl. Or you don't like it because your girl likes it. No, I like things my girl likes, okay? So then you like the royals? No. Anyway, my son's not about you.
Starting point is 00:49:01 It's about Kay Middleton. Oh, sorry. So Kate Middleton's been missing, okay? And I have my baby going, by the way, we're filling in for Angie. She's sick. She can't, her voice doesn't work. Again, I believe Greg. Greg is also gone.
Starting point is 00:49:12 Vic is also gone, but they're doing it for funties. Angie's actually like, sick. Stop it now. I think so too, though. No, because we keep that narrative going. She literally has no baby. There's no baby things, guys. We're going to keep it going until it happens.
Starting point is 00:49:25 Okay, but we have our little baby girl, Yailene. And Yalene, you do really good at researching things. Like I said, hey, Royal Family, you have a whole timeline of this. She just already knows things. What is everyone so, like, crazy about? The fact that she's one of the most photographed women in the world and that there hasn't been photographs of her for 73 days. 73 days.
Starting point is 00:49:45 There's a countdown. It's been since September. It's been since September. She broke her fingers. She went to the hospital. 73 days. September was way, way more than seven days ago.
Starting point is 00:49:54 But that's when they last, like this isn't when they lost her. There was no photographs of her going into the hospital. Oh, photos of her. Like, but they knew that she was there. They knew that she was there.
Starting point is 00:50:04 Why did she go to the hospital in September? She broke her fingers. Oh. Supposedly. Dang, how you break your finger? Fingers. A lot of royal duties.
Starting point is 00:50:13 Is tea that heavy? Maybe. You ever slam the door on someone's hands when you close it? Yeah, don't remind me. I did that one time and I had so much guilt. Yeah, one time my cousin had their, had their finger in the bicycle chain and I wrote it and then it like literally was hanging off that, get it so on.
Starting point is 00:50:32 Yeah, it's really bad up there. Okay, I think yours is the worst. Yeah, it is, it is. I have also a homie that was taking, you know how like when we're going to get our groceries and we feel like we can carry like all the bags with two hands and he broke his finger like carrying too many bags on one finger. Okay. I have one last one.
Starting point is 00:50:50 Wow. Because we're thinking of the way she can't broke her finger. So this kid, you can remember back in the day the TV stands would have like glass doors. A kid was had his fingers on it and the TV fell. Oh my God. I would never watch TV ever again. That part. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:51:07 Okay, let's get back to it. Okay. But there are many ways to break your fingers. However, I don't know that she was carrying groceries. I don't think of her. Okay. Me neither. Or opening a door.
Starting point is 00:51:15 Then what happened? So then in January there's a surprise surgery plan for her in a part of her body. And that was being reported by like the Daily News in the UK. And they're like, what is she getting done? What is she getting done? What's crazy is why do they know her schedule? Right? Because I know they're the royals, but they have a whole, like the royals aren't in government.
Starting point is 00:51:35 But they're not government. Like they actually have their own government. Yeah. They have like whatever the president equivalent is to overhear, they have that. The royals are just like literally the family that everybody loves and that at one point they were just like really really big right they still are but for money but what was weird with that it was like sending out press with his oh kate middleton's going into surgery william's godfather died like days before and he didn't go to the funeral and usually like all the
Starting point is 00:52:01 royals will go to every funeral yeah so there might be what people are thinking there might be some drama within the relationship yes of prince william and kate middleton who's his wife right and prince yeah there's an affair involved from both sides um supposedly he had an affair she had an affair fair. I read someone. I don't know how true it is because it was on Twitter, but that the person she had an affair with is no longer here, like RAP. Wait, what? Yes. Yeah. Like, it's that crazy. Like, it's the royals, you guys. Yeah. Are you serious? That's what they're saying. He declines and says, oh, I didn't go to the Bureau for personal reasons. I think it's all an affair. Yeah. And, like, they're like not living together or something. Yeah, I think they're broken up because there's
Starting point is 00:52:38 difference, but is she past, is she not here anymore? Is, and you know with the family, the Princess Diana's stuff and even like Prince Harry being out here, you know, and all of the, just the chisement surrounding that family, this is just more chisement to add. Now Kate Middleton, the one that was like, I guess like the, like you said, the most photograph, the good wife, because everyone over there hates Harry's wife, like all of that. Shut up, Megan, we got to protect her all costs. Of course, and we are. That's what she, they're out here.
Starting point is 00:53:05 She's not over here. Over there. Don't ever leave Canoga again. Stay home. But that's all happening. And then there's photos of people missing. misleading it. It's like that I'll happen in March, you know, like at the beginning of the year was like she's in the hospital.
Starting point is 00:53:19 Everyone on Twitter is like, did she get a BBL in Tijuana? Like everyone's like, what's going on? We'll be tight. Imagine? Right. Can I, no, don't know what a BBL? No, please. That trend is over.
Starting point is 00:53:29 She's going to make her appearance at Baja Bitras. No, she's not. No, that would inspire. No. Headline. Okay, but it's just to up in the air of what's going on. There is fake car photos with the mom and the kids. are nowhere to be found either.
Starting point is 00:53:45 Supposedly there's a lot of Photoshop photos that they're trying to release, right? And that they're trying to trick people. I'm wondering. Like, photos on Mother's Day? Because Mother's Day over there is different. It was like the weekend of the Oscars. And that was their Mother's Day. They released a photo and they're like, why is her arm like 10 inches longer?
Starting point is 00:54:00 And like, it's weird. I'm wondering, is it that bad to just say you guys broke up? Because even that happened with like, like when it happened with Princess Diana and she finally left King Charles? Right. When she finally left him, but it took forever, like in her memoir, she talks about being trapped. Like they kept her in a room at the palace. Like she couldn't leave.
Starting point is 00:54:22 Like she felt like a prisoner. She finally divorces and getting, but it was such a big deal, right? And then she ends up passing away, unfortunately. Now, it kind of, I don't want to say it's repeating itself because people already thought it was repeating itself with Harry and Megan that the way they're talking about her. They're, they're butchering her name in headlines and all of that in the propaganda. And now it's Kate Middleton's turn. And I guess though kids haven't been photographed either, Yalene, or at some point... No, the family in itself only obviously William because he returned to his royal duties back in February.
Starting point is 00:54:54 But then the uncle goes on and says, like, on a TV show, like, she, that Kate's mom won't see her until Easter. Like, Kate's mom won't see her until Easter. What does that mean? Until we have made the clone. Like, that's weird, especially because the royal family is very like, oh, like, I'm not going to say anything until there's a press release or until. It's on their terms. But imagine you're her mom and you can't see her so they say you can see her.
Starting point is 00:55:19 Like, what's going on? What happened Easter? Jesus rose from the dead. Are you get a little tin hat on, Jose? What if she rises from the dead? Okay. So then will we see Kate after Easter? My whole thing is like, I think they're not together.
Starting point is 00:55:36 They're not together. I think it's for William. It's more like, oh, like, I know exactly what happened to my mom when she got, like, separated from my dad. Like, I'm not sure if I want to go through the whole, like, public thing. So he just wants to keep his mistress? I guess. And have her, too?
Starting point is 00:55:50 But he lost his hair. Like, I would, if I was Kate Middleton, I'd leave my husband, like, with it. He was so good looking. Bro. Because he loves that. That's what they say about girls. They got fat. They stopped taking care of themselves.
Starting point is 00:56:03 I didn't marry this. No. It's not that he's bald. He has the weakest comb over. Oh, my God. He has not a royal combover. No. Where he comes over is three little ears.
Starting point is 00:56:13 Maybe he needs to go a T.J. with her. They need to go together for sure. But if I were Kate Middleton and I saw my husband's hairline receding, I'd say peace out. Until you see. Yailene. Yailene. You are 20 years old, Yailene. Hair does not matter.
Starting point is 00:56:31 I'm going to tell you right now, you keep waiting to date people, they're all their hair is going to be out when you're dating them. Why would you pull up that photo, Jose? It's so bad. It's so bad. I told you he has the weakest comb over. It's like a Homer Simpson. Okay. All right.
Starting point is 00:56:45 Well, this was not a William Snyder because I don't want to end up missing in Photoshop photos of me and all that stuff. Yo, I want to go to the UK. So she's safe. She's, I don't know. Would she go on the red table talk with Jada Pinkett? Like what that happened? No. Like what that happened?
Starting point is 00:57:00 No. Kate Middleton. We hope you're okay. I don't know. She's going to pop out. Learn Morse. Learn Morse code because you need to ask for help somewhere. Blink twice.
Starting point is 00:57:09 Bling twice, all of that crazy stuff. And read Princess Diana's book. She goes on Oprah. And Loki, maybe it's karma because they turned their back on Harry and Megan when all the drama was going down. I wonder she's in LA with Megan. Yeah. That be lit. Megan, don't trust her.
Starting point is 00:57:24 I don't either. Speaking of not trusting, we have the new song from We Don't Trust You. This is new music from Future and Metro. It dropped last night and everybody's been talking about it. Everybody. One song in specific. called Like That. Okay, Like That features Kendrick Lamar.
Starting point is 00:57:44 And it was crazy. It is crazy. Kendrick said, you know what? I got time today. Last night, it felt like the night when control dropped. It really did. Last night felt like that. And we have to play it for you.
Starting point is 00:57:56 Matter of fact, we're going to play it for you after this one from Metro boom in. It's Power 106. LA's number one for hip hop. Come on. Metro! Yeah. Dragon. It was very much more flags, more fun yesterday.
Starting point is 00:58:11 because a new song just dropped and it's putting us through all the roller coaster of emotions, okay? Thank you for that, Kendrick Lamar. He dropped a song on Future and Metro Boomins not mixtape album, we don't trust you, okay? It's going directly at Drake and J. Cole. Like, they're not even playing about it.
Starting point is 00:58:28 Nope. They are saying, hey, this is for you and you only. And the song, and specifically, that started this whole thing, is First Person Shooter by Jake, by Drake and Jake, by Drake and J. Cole, by Drake and J. Cole, okay? So we're going to play First Person Shooter, I want you to pay attention to clearly how they're bigging up themselves,
Starting point is 00:58:46 how Jay Cole is talking about him being a Spider-Man. And so the Spider-Man meme is him looking at Drake. They're the best. They're number one and two. All of that. Because Kendrick has some words for that specifically. Okay? So here's first-person shooter, Drake and Jay-Cole.
Starting point is 00:59:01 It's Power 106. LA's number one for hip-hop. First-person shooter mode. We turn in your song to a funeral. That line is very important to you guys. the Michael comparisons because yesterday it happened
Starting point is 00:59:14 there's no music oh hold on let me do my little drop oh I got it I got it I got it I got it if it's hipop
Starting point is 00:59:19 here I go there I go letty is on it talk to rap sheet let the set go all right
Starting point is 00:59:28 we're going I'm so sad that Jay Cole's the interest to this my guy Jay Cole and I want to preface this
Starting point is 00:59:34 by saying Drake nah don't really care about him but Jay Cole oh my God it's really hurting me that this is going down
Starting point is 00:59:40 Yesterday, new music drop, new album drop, Metro and Future. It's called We Don't Trust You, okay? Hold on. I got to make sure this is good. There we go. They drop new music. New album, we don't trust you. And on the song like that, oh my gosh.
Starting point is 01:00:00 My guy Kendrick came with it. He said, it's time to stop talking, stop just being quiet. He came from his beautiful house, kiss his beautiful kids, his beautiful wife, and said, you know what? Future, I got something for you. Okay? And they dropped this new song called Like That, all right? This song is a response to first-person shooter and just J-Co and Drake in general. We're going to get into all of what he means because these bars, they were up there with it.
Starting point is 01:00:29 Matter of fact, I'm wondering if I should just play the Kendrick verse. This is like control. Like, we literally just ran the Kendrick verse over and over again. All right. I'm going to hit you with Kendrick's verse, okay, off of Like That. Pay very close attention because he's definitely throwing shots at Drake and J. Cole. Here it is. Talking out of their neck.
Starting point is 01:00:55 Don't put no coughing out of your mouth. For all your dogs getting buried. That's a K with all these nines. He'll see Pet Cemetery. Oh, my God. I love you, Kendrick so much. Thank you so much for this. We need that.
Starting point is 01:01:10 We definitely this. We need this. There's always been a cold war between Drake and Kendrick. It's always been going since controls, since before control, they've taken subliminal jabs at each other. They've really, I think they've just kept it like, I don't mess with you, you don't mess with me. I think they probably had a handshake type of deal
Starting point is 01:01:28 behind the scenes of, look, we're just going to leave each other alone. But there's this thing where if I say, I'm going to leave you alone, but I still hear little things here and there and you're not leaving me alone, then I'm like, all right, now I've got to come back and say something. And that's what this song feels like, okay? This song, this whole album in particular, because it's not just Kendrick on a song.
Starting point is 01:01:48 It's Kendrick on a. Metro booming album, Metro also has beef with Drake. They beefed over these last albums. It was been public on Twitter. Drake has clown Metro. Metro is saying, look, why doesn't my album get nominated? Because he had an amazing album with heroes and villains.
Starting point is 01:02:07 Future is kind of like the in-between. He's kind of like, he's done music with Drake. We know he's cool with him. But also, future, Metro's his man. And Metro's drop is if, is if, well, yeah, Metro's drop is future saying, if Metro don't trust you, we're coming at you, right? On this album specifically, the intro song, Future said, like, it's so cool because I know the drop, I've heard it 5,000 times. I've never heard it like this, okay, with actual gunshots in the back.
Starting point is 01:02:34 Check this out. Jesus. Hold on. All the drops want to play at once. Check this out. That drop never plays like that. That drop is just in a lot. I'm saying if Young Metro don't trust you.
Starting point is 01:02:51 He starts the album with that. Yeah, he can't, he can't choosing violence. Okay. I just want to play one more time. It sounds so cool. If Young Metro don't trust me. I don't know what. And Kendrick goes on to say, you know what?
Starting point is 01:03:03 I don't care about the big three. We know what the big three is. No, it's just big me. All right? That says a lot because now you're saying not just mm-hmm with Drake. You're saying, mm-hmm with Jay Cole. And I know a lot of people say when it comes to Jay Cole.
Starting point is 01:03:17 I'm like, what do you say for? Like it's just like, why? Why? Why do I deserve that, right? I think it's that a respect. No. I don't think it's that I respect. Like, respect of like his caliber of artists.
Starting point is 01:03:27 No. No, I think he's mad at him too. Yeah, I think he's mad at him. Control was respect. The control versus like, hey, I love you all, but I'm trying to murder you, but I'm trying to take your fans, but I'm trying to make it so that they never even want to hear about you or another song. That was just like the competitive spirit. This, you could tell that Kendrick's been irked. Now, it's easy to be like, why are you mad?
Starting point is 01:03:47 Like, they're just hanging out. their friends or whatever. But think about it in your own life, right? You know how they say the enemy of my enemy is my friend, right? Yep. What's the friend of your enemy? No answer it. I don't know.
Starting point is 01:04:02 Enemy. An enemy. So if Drake is Kendrick's enemy, his friend is J. Cole. So now you're my op too. And I know that we have, we're homies, right? But also, if your homie is friends with your enemy, are you cool with that? No. Because it's like some real, like, I don't talk to you.
Starting point is 01:04:18 that Kendrick since the beef started with Jay Cole I mean excuse me with Drake has not addressed him or not has not squashed the beef right we've seen Drake try to give some type of compliments we even saw him get a sweet at the Big Steppers tour yeah that was wild yeah to kind of be like standing over him like Batman and when he went to when he went to Canada you know what I'm saying like he's taunting
Starting point is 01:04:41 Kendrick almost because he knows he don't mess with him and he also knows Kendrick is really quiet about his stuff until he's not but again why the me for when it comes to J. Cole. And I'm just going to give you maybe some little things that might have irked Kendrick, okay? First of all, on first person shooter, when J. Cole says, like, oh, I love these.
Starting point is 01:04:59 Like, who's the king of this, me or Kendrick or Drake? But I'm Mohamed Ali. So Jay Cole saying, like, that's cool. Have your debate about who the big three is. But right now, I feel like Muhammad Ali. So that's kind of being nice, but also saying you're the first, you're the top. Right?
Starting point is 01:05:14 He then makes this line about stepers. and I'm going to play it for you but he's kind of saying like everybody's stepers now F that We only know the low key that word You can say this is a reach
Starting point is 01:05:27 But steppers is big stepers Like that's Kendrick Lamar Check out the line Everybody's stepers Everybody's breakfast And I'm about to clear on my plate Bro If everybody's stepers
Starting point is 01:05:37 When everybody's breakfast And I'm gonna eat it I'm gonna clear off my plate That's one That's one Okay Then there's also this part Off of Middle Child
Starting point is 01:05:47 this up. But I never beef with a nothing. If I smoke a rapper, it's going to be legit. Okay, if I beef with someone, if I smoke a rapper, it's going to be legit, right? On face value, I think a lot of people
Starting point is 01:05:59 thought that was towards push a tea because he was beefing with Drake at the time. And he was just saying, like, you know, what shout on me and Drake, but I would never, it's going to be legit. Kendrick has a line on this song saying you click up, but you're not E40 and be legit.
Starting point is 01:06:13 Be legit are parts of the click. Right? So he's making reference to like, I see what you're doing. You guys are sneak-dissing me, but look, this is real. Now it's real. Okay? Then there's also this bar that Jay Cole said.
Starting point is 01:06:25 And I remember when he said it, I thought, what does Kendrick think about it? Check it out. When I'm back home, I'm the best in the south. When I'm in the lay, I'm the best in the West. You can test. You can test. I'm a rapper and I'm competing and you say that if you're the best in the West, when you're out here, should Kendrick just be like, no, Jay-Cold don't deserve?
Starting point is 01:06:47 it. How long should Kendrick be like they don't deserve it? This is how I feel Kendrick feels. It's cool when they do it. It's a problem when I do it. Like, why is it? People are mad for him going at J. Cole. Man, I love this Kendrick. This is my favorite Kendrick, too. This is my favorite Kendrick of all time.
Starting point is 01:07:05 And then I also think that it brings in the fold. Travis Scott, who at Rolling Loud, was telling Metro and Future. He was literally telling them, hey, play that one song that I heard and I love because now it's like, now what Drake and J. Cole are doing is like, who's on who's side? Yeah. It's kind of like, who's choosing future and Kendrick's side and who's choosing J. Cole and Drake's side? And they're like, hey, wasn't this the song that Travis Scott wanted to play at Rolling Loud? You got it?
Starting point is 01:07:31 I got it. The new one. You got that. All right, just play the one you got and we're going to cut it after the hook. He was literally being like, hey, I'm not going to get off the stage until you play that new song that you played. He was like a little kid throwing a tantrum. And then he said, cut it off at the hook. like don't give them no more than that.
Starting point is 01:07:50 Rolling Laugh was about to get the exclusive of the diss song. Metro Boomin must have been sweating it up there because I know he probably had a bunch of different versions like not mixing mad. He's probably just like, oh my God, which do I play? Okay, there's more to this. We're going to go to commercials
Starting point is 01:08:06 and we're going to come back, come back, including talking about, I'll save it. I'll save it. Yeah. We got it. There's two be continued. Like I said, this is definitely, like poor big Sean. brus
Starting point is 01:08:18 we will tell you why Port McShan coming up next thing we do Spar 106 Hello Hi Spar 106

Starting point is 01:08:39 Yailin Irene And Irene Yelin You mix the name Yeah You guys sound a lot Like the names
Starting point is 01:08:44 No Okay The names The names shit I love you. I know, I love you. Today is not the day.
Starting point is 01:08:51 Someone's going to getrick on somebody. That's when sitting, like, super far away from my arena. Wow. I would be Kendrick, though. Can I be Kendrick? No, you're not. You were, no. I'm, like, somehow like Drake.
Starting point is 01:09:06 Neither. You hear a little dirk right now. He's good. Yeah, he's good. But he has, like, crazy eyes. Same. Same. That's exactly.
Starting point is 01:09:17 We're like a little bit. All right. Check this out. New music dropped last night. It's called Like That. It's on Future Metro Boomins album. We don't trust you. It's big because this album is full of like little Easter eggs.
Starting point is 01:09:30 And if you're really like in tune with listening, I feel like the first listener was probably Drake and J. Cole. Like, what did they say? What are they going? Because Drake has kind of been in a Cold War with a lot of people. You're going to see a lot of people. And Loki, they shouldn't be waiting. They should be outright with how they feel about him. Right.
Starting point is 01:09:46 But you're going to see that now that there's momentum on not liking Drake or like going against Drake, especially with someone with such bars and technical like abilities like a Kendrick, you're going to say like, hey, can I get one too? Hey, I don't like Drake too. Hey, I wouldn't be surprised at people that beef with him in the past and squash it. Don't start like doing stuff, right? So there's little nuggets in this album that it's a very clear, hey, when we say we don't trust you, we're talking about you, Drake.
Starting point is 01:10:12 Right. And J. And J. Cole, I know you're on that tour with him. You kind of can get it to right now. You chose sides. You chose sides. You chose that. And it seems like people are choosing sides in different situations, okay? So we don't trust you drops.
Starting point is 01:10:22 The first song, the drop of Drake, like the, excuse me, the drop of Metro is future saying, if Young Metro don't trust you, we won't shoot you. Which is the usual thing. Yeah. But the way that it has gunshots behind it, actually this time, it shows you that, oh, they mean business. Yeah, Yon Metro, don't trust me. I don't know. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:10:41 We hear. There's another part of the album where Weekend is kind of humming over it. and people are suggesting that weekends like, hey, I know you guys are going to do this album. Can I join? I would like to join in on this fun situation. Okay? So then there's this song called Like That Featuring Kendrick Lamar, okay?
Starting point is 01:10:58 And I like it because on this particular song, Future is just talking about girls. He's like, oh yeah, like girls. Classic future. And then Kendrick is like, hey, can I get this moment? Especially because we got to big up what they did on this album and on this song is they sampled our guy Easy E and his song Easy Does It. So this is how it sounds when Easy does it.
Starting point is 01:11:18 He was once at the from around the way. Easy. But you shit. Shut the fuck out of here. Yo, Drake. Basically that's what Kendra did too. And then this is how it plays on the song. All right.
Starting point is 01:11:38 Now we're going to get into the Kendrick Lamar verse where he takes shots at Drake and J. Cole. Here it is. Talking out of their neck. Don't put no coughing out of your mouth. I'm way too paranoid for threats. Let's get it, bro. VOT, the money power, respect. The last one is better.
Starting point is 01:11:56 Say, yes, a lot of goofies with a check. I mean, ah, I hold them sentiment symbolic. All my temperament bipolar, I choose violent. Okay, let's get it up. It's time for him to prove that he's a problem. Clicking up, but it cannot be legit. No 40 water, tell them. Three switches.
Starting point is 01:12:16 I crash out like crap. This melly mel if I had two. Got two T's with me. I'm snatching chains and burning tattoos. It's up. Lost too many soldiers, not the player safe. If he walk around with that stick, it ain't Andre D.K. I think I won't drop the location.
Starting point is 01:12:29 I still got PTSD. It's just big me. That's a K with all these nines. He's going to see Pet Cemetery. Kendrick was talking. Kendrick said hi. I would like to say a few couple things. He said, hey there, I'm here.
Starting point is 01:12:54 Yes. So the Big Three, we know the Big Three conversation. We know that it's Kendrick, Jake, and Drake. That Big Three, not the Ice Cube Big Three. I saw Murse. What Big Three? He's just Kendrick. That part.
Starting point is 01:13:06 But Mers was on Instagram. He was like, I was thinking like, why are you coming at a Cube? Big Three does a lot of great things for players. Like, no, he means a big three of rap that we have crowned as Kendrick, J. Cole, and Drake. And he's saying, nope, this is me. And this is me because y'all have been coming at me and I've been quiet. And y'all have been hanging out and posting those BFF photos. And oh, my God, the biggest of what tour?
Starting point is 01:13:29 And oh, my God, you're a legend, you're a kin. The Spider-Man meme is me pointing at you. And I'm saying this as a child of both J-Cole and Kendrick. This is what's hurting me the most, that J. Cole is now involved in this. But Kendrick does have some validation to why he's going at J. Cole. The Drake thing, we know. The Drake thing, they've had a beef. It's been unspoken and spoken since control dropped.
Starting point is 01:13:55 Okay. Now when it comes to J. Cole, J. Cole had mentioned about, I love this big three conversation in first person shooter, but I'm Muhammad Ali. Like, I'm the top one. then he makes mention of stepers which we know was the last album of Kendrick check this out everybody's stepers will f um then everybody breakfast and i'm about to clear my plate everybody stepers will eff them then everybody breakfast and i'm about to clear my plate if you're kendrick and you just drop big stepers and you probably don't talk to cole like that are you
Starting point is 01:14:27 going to take this as a diss or no for sure you're definitely going to take it as a disc especially since your homie cole has also said this To act like two legends Can not coexist But I never be for the n' For nothing If I smoke a rapper It's gonna be legit
Starting point is 01:14:38 Okay Him saying it's gonna be legit And then Kendrick making mention On this song of Be Legit The rapper And E40 With the with their That made up the click
Starting point is 01:14:48 He's like Oh they're clicking up But this ain't 40 water Or be legit Right He's making He's like I see you I've heard you J Cole
Starting point is 01:14:54 Even when you said this Huh I'm the rest I'm the best When I'm back home On the best in the South When I'm in the last I'm the best in the west
Starting point is 01:15:02 You can test You can test, I'm a stretch. All right. If J. Cole says, when I'm in L.A., I'm the best in the West. He didn't say when I'm in L.A. And Kendrick's not there. Yeah. He said, I'm the best in the West when I'm in L.A.
Starting point is 01:15:16 He's lying. So how much more can Kendrick take if it's like, all right, if we're going to do it, I can do it too. And I want to do it. And I really do feel like he thinks like this. It's cool when they do it. It's a problem when I do it. And he's ready. And he's going to go in on them.
Starting point is 01:15:32 And the worst thing about this, I think the saddest part about all this is that Big Sean drop music. Oh, I know. Shut up Sean, man. This reminded us of Control, right? Yeah. Control was Big Sean's song. And Kendrick took all the thunder and that kind of led to their falling out because Big Sean was like, he hated answering those questions of the control verse. And it was like, you know what?
Starting point is 01:15:54 Like, I hate this. And then he started going at Kendrick and then they had their little Cold War too. And then now he sets up yesterday. He's like, yeah, I'm dropping this. I'm dropping new music. And he dropped a clip that says, yeah, F, the big three. Like, I'm tired of making music with who you guys think is the big three. Like, I don't even like him like that.
Starting point is 01:16:16 Kendry didn't even address him. For real. But still overshadowed him again. Like the first time with control. He must have woke up and threw something like, not again. Yeah. It's like how you win a beef with me and you didn't even drop a bar towards me. Like you just dropped another song.
Starting point is 01:16:34 Not even a verse. Another verse. Oh my God, that's so sad. Like Kendrick's verse literally took over it all new music. There's new music by Cardi B and Shakir, which is amazing. Right. The whole Metro Future album is great. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:16:47 There's an album? Yeah, it's a little album. Mick Sean, he has new music out. Shout out Sean and I love you. You're too amazing. But Kendrick, this is what he does. He's a showstopper. And he's ready.
Starting point is 01:17:00 He's ready for it. You know, it's funny to. So J-Kole does these, he does these tour vlogs. My Delete Later. One of the tour vlogs, he talks about watching Metro make an album. Listen. Metro, same shit. I was in the studio the other night.
Starting point is 01:17:20 And he was in there cooking up. I seen him cooking up. And it's just like, everything is just confident steps. You're not judging it. You're not thinking about it. So little did J-Cold know as he's watching. I'm wondering if he's passing by, but he sees. he's Metro locked in making music.
Starting point is 01:17:34 It's like, yeah, it's about you, bro. Like, I'm making this music for you. Imagine Metro working on a song and he sees Cole. He just changes it. Yeah. Or like, hey, what's that, man? And the whole thing even with Metro, why is this on this album, right?
Starting point is 01:17:46 Metro Booman has a beef with Drake over their last albums. He had publicly went on saying that his album deserved more recognition or as much recognition as Drake's album did. He has a lot of incredible songs on it. Drake responds and they kind of go through that, right? and towards J. Cole,
Starting point is 01:18:04 apparently Metro's tweeted how boring J. Cole's music is in the past. There's tweets of him saying like, yeah, yeah, yeah, I listen to Cole and I want to go to sleep. Oh. So you could already tell, like, this was no problem with it.
Starting point is 01:18:16 Because sometimes it's like, hey, someone else is going to diss on your track? You're like, no, bro. Like, I... You know, it comes to the territory that you're going to be put together as part of the beat. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:18:26 He reportedly allegedly, hold on, Vic. Reportedly, allegedly. Thank you. He reported it. Legally tweeted don't get me wrong. J. Cole is talented. Anytime I can't sleep, Friday night lights puts me out cold. Sleep on track one.
Starting point is 01:18:40 Oh. I love that project. Also, if you can truly listen to J. Cole all the time, then you have yet to have that Poon that will change your life, B. Like, it means you're not getting any. This is what he tweeted in 2011. You know, like before, like when you could say what you found, you know, Maybe not too many people knew who Metro Booman was.
Starting point is 01:19:03 When you actually put your thoughts out there? So they get the Tuisy, yeah. And they're out there now. So I don't know that he had too much of a problem with this going on and this happening, right? Now when it comes to future, he's kind of like the homie of everybody, or is he? Yeah. Because apparently there's a rumor going around that he's beefing with Drake over a girl. Over a girl.
Starting point is 01:19:18 Why? I don't know. That's what Twitter is saying. Because he does mention, like, in the first song, which is not this one, in the first song off the album, he says, like, you have fake written all over you. you have hateering all over you, you pillow talk, you do all this stuff, you're a fan of me and all of that, but I can't rock with you.
Starting point is 01:19:36 And pillow talking is like, when you tell your girl, blah, blah, blah, I put her in her ear. Right. And so they're thinking that it's over a specific girl that they're beefing over.
Starting point is 01:19:43 However, I do think that they've had many similar girls. I agree. Like, they've been Eskimo brothers before this, right? But maybe Drake told her something that she told him. I don't think essentially
Starting point is 01:19:53 they're fighting for the girl, but they're fighting about whatever it was that Drake told some sort of bro-co- That's how it starts all the time. Or he's taking his man side. If you're beefing with Metro, like he said. So now the ball is in the court of Drake and J. Cole, and we know Jake Hook can hoop.
Starting point is 01:20:14 Right. I don't know that I'm ready for this. I am. And you know, people are saying too with Kendrick, he doesn't do this verse without having 10,000 other things that he has for. Oh, for sure. He's not just shooting all his shots right here. He has stuff in the tug. He's waiting for responses.
Starting point is 01:20:34 Look, I feel like Kendrick wrote disses to himself that they could say so that he can have responses. The eight miles? Technical heat. Yeah. But so he can have responses back. Like, okay, if J-Code goes this route, if they go this route. Right. There are things maybe to bring up that you're no longer on T.E.
Starting point is 01:20:50 That you haven't made an album in so long or things of that nature, you know? But I think he has like responses to all of that. And I'm ready to learn. A little checklist? And this just shows me, because there's times where I'm like, oh, where's Kendrick at? And then I start listening to other types of hip-hop and other types of genres. And then Kendrick comes out and like, oh, my God, I'm here. This is what I love.
Starting point is 01:21:07 This is why I exist. Right. Songs like this, okay? We're going to play the full version right now. Enjoy it. This is hip-hop. This is why we're here. This is what started Power 106.
Starting point is 01:21:18 This is why we love doing what we do. That's right. From us to you listening to the rappers that make it, okay? Here's I like that. Future Metro Booman featuring Kendrick Lamar's Power 1, 6. I'm just running. I miss you.
Starting point is 01:21:39 I miss you. That track, yeah. Yeah. Got your girl. Amen. I'm snatching chains and burning tattoos. It's up. Lost too many soldiers.
Starting point is 01:23:54 Not the player safe. If he walk around with that stick, it ain't Andre D.K. Think I won't drop the location. I still got PTSD. Big me. Zigo Z Pet Cemetery. Compton's in the house. Shout out to Kendrick tomorrow.
Starting point is 01:24:43 That is a song we're going to be hearing. That's probably not even their single. They choose singles. what they want to, like, service to radio. It's super behind this. Every time we were like, why don't you play this song? Why are you playing that song? It's because the freaking people, the artist, they're saying,
Starting point is 01:24:56 hey, this is my single. Can you play this song, please? Okay? There might be other songs on the album that you like. This is going to be one of them. I like that. I like it a lot. Me too.
Starting point is 01:25:05 Yeah. Someone disses you like this. Are you sleeping? No, I would be so irritating. Yeah. No, but like I feel like I'd have the ball on the pin of my stomach. No, I record like seven disc tracks back to back.
Starting point is 01:25:16 Yeah, but you're looking who you're up against. Hey, you gotta come with it. Get some ghostwriters. I feel like this is going to be like a classic disc instrumental. Oh, for sure. I'm already, I literally have this thing, like, whenever you guys upset me, which happens a lot, I'm just going to be like. Yes. Like, that's it, that's it.
Starting point is 01:25:37 Like, oh my God. That's like the new siren in my head. Oh, Maximo came later again. That's perfect. Oh, Maximo didn't prep. Because it is like a siren. Yes. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:25:49 Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, Jose didn't put out the real that he was supposed to? Ah! Yeah. Say that. Yeah. What, Irene's ignore me again?
Starting point is 01:26:06 But then she's tweeting. Oh. But then she told me she went to sleep. Oh. But then she also said I loved Twitter last night. And she's texting Greg? And she's texting Greg? Oh my God
Starting point is 01:26:20 Just stop it See I'm like Kendrick I learned everything When I come out one Alright I've had way too much coffee And no food That is true I am caffeine
Starting point is 01:26:36 All right let's get away these tickets We have tickets for you to go to see our L.A. Kings versus the Tampa Bay Lightning baby Four tickets to see the L.A. Kings take on the Tampa Bay Lightning this Saturday at Crizzles.com Arena Okay, you can get your tickets now at LAKings.com slash tickets
Starting point is 01:26:53 or you could call us up to win them. 818 52059. That's 818 52059. It's so funny because people were talking about this on Twitter. I know you saw Irene while you were ignoring me last night, but you were on Twitter. How, because everybody's choosing sides. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:27:08 That J.I.D., who is on Dreamville, has to now come at Baby Keem, who is like Kendrick's little cousin pro jay something. And it's just so funny because it's like, now we're going to see beef. We're going to see like whole rounds of beefs. And then 21 Savage is going to get caught up like, I don't know who to choose. Because he is like future.
Starting point is 01:27:24 Right. He loves future, but also like Kendrick. Yeah. Yeah. And Jake, I mean, excuse me, he loves future and Kendrick, but he's also like Drake. Yeah. I don't know. Now's the time.
Starting point is 01:27:34 He also loves Metro woman. Loves Metro. So he's going to have to choose up. Yeah. He's coming to the Kendrick side. Speaking of J.I.D. and 21 Savage. Let's get into this.
Starting point is 01:27:44 Fire 106. Alex number one for hip-hap. Buenos Diaz. Skolling with the homie. The homie Maximonio Hey, letty Yes
Starting point is 01:27:57 Amazing brother Greg is out What she's at? Where is he at? He's in Mississippi right now He's in MISISI SIPBI Hey
Starting point is 01:28:06 All right he's out there I love how he knows everything She has his location His location Has he left the hotel yet? Did he know? Wait, what? Has he left the hotel yet?
Starting point is 01:28:15 I don't know Are they en route? I don't know They're doing stuff Why are you looking nervous? Yeah All right But he usually does scrolling, but then he wasn't part of the morning show in the beginning.
Starting point is 01:28:25 So then Maximum took over scrolling. Yeah. And he came back. And then he gave Maximum gave him back to him. Yeah. Yeah. All right. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:28:33 Well, Kaisana, a viral streamer, YouTuber, everything. So he went on, he was online and during one of his streams, a fan trolled him. So a fan called him on one of his streams during a high. speed pursuit and the fan supposedly supposedly no the the pursuit was real but the fan said that he was the one guy in the car yes and funny enough the pursuit was in the san fernando valley really yeah but so was an out here pursuit yes was kaisen out watching it so i guess the the fan said i'm watching you while i'm in this pursuit and then he pops up the pursuit and it's out here and so mar yeah crazy it's just crazy they always end up in so mar you guys are just going to run into a mountain and then
Starting point is 01:29:19 They're going to catch you. Always. Listen. Pull over, bro. Now I put my face on this. That all, bro. Pull over. No.
Starting point is 01:29:29 They're not catching shit, though. Don't worry about it. I'm not putting my face on lie. They're going to dis, this, this police is hell. But I was just watching, bro, stream. Bro, pull over. Oh, my God. So it was like the pursuit was happening.
Starting point is 01:29:44 So he had the pursuit on this stream happening and then the caller. This is getting me so mad. because Kaisenna, like, a bunch of streams, amazing when he's done with his platform, all of that, right? Great that way he does. Yeah, and then this guy calls in, it's like, bro, you don't hear any sirens. You don't even, his car is parked. I hear his freaking engine chilling.
Starting point is 01:30:02 Like, he's not in a pursuit. It's an idol. It's legit. It's hilarious. There's no speeding. There's nothing. Like, I don't understand. Like, if you weren't behind it, you really fall for some dumbness.
Starting point is 01:30:14 Right. And he said that he pretty much they trolled him. Yeah. Tyson was saying that the guy trolled him. Right, because when they did arrest the guy, they confirmed that it wasn't the same person. Why? From the pursuit. They just, yeah, the police confirmed like, no.
Starting point is 01:30:27 This is not the guy that was on the name. It was completely different. Because he ends up, like, parking the car and then running out of the car and the police start chasing him. All while being on the phone with Kyle, like, yeah, I'm not going to show my face. Oh, my God. But, you know, it's really hard now to tell what's fake and what is it. Right. As far as, like, what's scripted, like, what's Kai, like, hey, we're going to call and this what we're going to do.
Starting point is 01:30:47 or if that other guy just did it or that the guy was the actual driver. Right. So it's crazy to see. It makes me so mad. To me it was just funny. There's already so many things that you don't know if it's real or not.
Starting point is 01:30:59 Like, Doug, let us just debate over Santa, please. Please, if it's real. Like, why not the debate if everything else is real or not? Yo, it's nuts. It's entertaining, but it's nuts. It sounds like your activity. Me? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:31:13 Sounds like you would call and be like, yeah, I'm running the marathon right now. I'm the boy that called Blue. Yeah, I'm running the marathon right now while streaming Kaisana and it's like, no, you're not. I promise you, I am. Yeah. I promise you. Or you're eating chips.
Starting point is 01:31:26 To me, it just made me happy that. Oh, no, no, no, no. Sorry, anytime someone wants a disc, we play that. To me, it just made me happy that it was the pursuit in the San Fernando Valley. Yeah. Repping? Yeah. I was like, yeah, we're rapping on the stream.
Starting point is 01:31:42 Oh, my God. It did go viral. It did. San Fernando Valley did go viral on Kaisena. Look, we, uh, we, uh, we're up. You're on the bat. We have. And I have this memory because I live in the second floor and I could go on my window to my roof.
Starting point is 01:31:53 So whenever there's pursuits and I was younger, I would just go to the rooftop and then come out on to me. I'm not telling people. No, but like what freeway could you see? The 405. The 405? Oh. No, because it was by exit. So every time the helicopters and the cars would pass, I'd see it.
Starting point is 01:32:05 No, I'd stand on the roof and you could see me on TV. Yeah. I'm so. I'd be like, yeah. He has video. Like, you know how we have like home movies? His is like the. That's one of those people.
Starting point is 01:32:16 Those things did. Yeah. Okay. My pursuit's coming. That's by my house. Come outside, come outside. Come on side. Go.
Starting point is 01:32:21 Watch your own TV? Oh my gosh. That was scrolling. That was me. Yeah. Shout us off. Anyone that's ever been on TV during a pursuit, not because you were the driver, but maybe it's passed by you.
Starting point is 01:32:31 Or pass by your house or your black. It's always cool. That's, yeah, yeah. That's what we do. All right. Thank you so much for that, bro. Thank you. We got some tech yes or tech no.
Starting point is 01:32:40 After this, it's Power 106. Oh, sorry. I'm not up on modern technology. Tech. Yes. I'm tech. Brown Bad Martins What's up, guys?
Starting point is 01:32:51 I want to go back to when this was like the thing. I just want to have a party with that stuff. I don't want to do what they would do back then because I was a little girl just turning up in my room like, oh, yeah. And getting a little glowing on the dark braces. It's cool for like an hour. No, it's cool for all the days, all the time. I want to wake up and tech knows what.
Starting point is 01:33:12 By the way, I know that sounds like music. I don't know. Everything is techno to me. Tech? No. No. Okay. Okay, so this is where we talk about tech news, but it's just a excuse to play techno too.
Starting point is 01:33:23 Okay, what is going on maximization? So Elon Musk's company, Neurilinks, just announced a new product. And it's called Blindsight. Blind site? Yeah, so what it is, it's to help people that can see to bring them like vision. Wow, that's amazing. It's really cool. But the process of it is the tricky part.
Starting point is 01:33:41 Okay. So what they're saying is that the first products they're going to release is going to be so low resolution that it's going to gonna look like Nintendo graphics. Oh my gosh. So they're gonna be able to see, but it's gonna be like Atari vibes. Atari, like a dub hunt. It's gonna be a trip.
Starting point is 01:34:01 Like for people to, for that to be like the first time they see anything and everything looks like Nintendo is wild. I'm looking at that. Because if we had to go through that first. Right. Imagine you haven't been able to see it.
Starting point is 01:34:16 And all of a sudden you see in 4K? We had to wait through that. We got a buffer through that. That's true. You know? No. That's true. Because I've also seen videos where people that haven't seen color put on the color
Starting point is 01:34:25 glasses. Yeah. It's like very emotional. It can affect them. It can't overwhelm them. So for sure, even seeing 4K can be probably like a lot to take in. You're a lot to take in pounds. Hey, yo.
Starting point is 01:34:36 No, you are. You're extra. You're a chill. Okay. Okay. Okay. But yeah. I don't know how I feel about Neurrelink or anything type of, to what's that guy's name?
Starting point is 01:34:45 Because I feel like if there was ever a dictator that's on the rise, it'd be him. And then he has control everything.
