Starting point is 00:00:00 Warriors Come out to play Like you can't anyone Because you have as Laker fans that barely made it to the playoffs The Warriors have been eliminated eliminated from advancing I like that it was amazing Because so many of the players
Starting point is 00:00:25 Like we've been watching them for years and they've been beating us right Say it, Steph Curry Clay Thompson Raymond Green on Green, Chris Paul. It was so satisfying. So satisfying. To watch them lose and be sad.
Starting point is 00:00:41 Brough, and yeah, they were sad about it. And Clay Thompson threw up a donut, homie. Zero points. Several. Zero points. And granted, we are literally just right there. Like, we barely got it before the door's closed. We still made it.
Starting point is 00:00:54 But we still made it. And now we're going to play the Nuggets. Yeah. I think the biggest thing, like, it sucks to say this, but it feels good to see that their franchise is going to like fall apart. The Warriors? I've never prayed on someone's downfall, but definitely enjoying watching it happen.
Starting point is 00:01:10 It feels pretty good to watch the death of a dynasty. Yes. And it's not yours. Yes. Especially because their dynasty kind of came up on low-key our backs. Like, they were whooping us for a while, but like we saw their dynasty rise. Yeah. And all the Bay Area homies, they swore that they were the new Lakers.
Starting point is 00:01:28 They thought they were the new Lakers. Yeah, P-Lope. Yeah, right. Yeah. People like that. Never since so many jerseys in my life of Steph and Curry. Of Steph Curry? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:01:36 I got a lot of the San Francisco fans, they're wild. Like, they're the type, like, they go on Instagram and just be like screaming at the, like, and for a long time, they have reason. Like, we just had to shut up and take it, pause, like literally. But now it's like, oh, where they are? Where are you? St. Jamesini. What's up?
Starting point is 00:01:54 Hey. They should get into podcasting. Oh, one of them already did. Okay, cool. Dremont Green. Oh, you're mean. Hey, I'm not going to talk about it. I can talk to smack about all of them but Draymark.
Starting point is 00:02:04 Yeah, me too. Because he's the one that likes to beat up people, right? Oh, he likes to beat up Europeans. Oh, you're right. I'm not quite, be quiet. Okay, just tell me guys as like the brains of behind this operation. Wow. When it comes to sports, how much chance do we have as a Lakers organization?
Starting point is 00:02:24 Slim. I'm not talking to you. Victor. How much chance do the Lakers have to take a championship this year? All right. I'm going to say, I'm going to be honest, we have a 54% chance. 54%. That's more than 50.
Starting point is 00:02:39 I like it. I like it a lot. 54%. Because last year we went four games with them. We got swept technically, okay? But we played them hard all four games. Played hard. Everybody will say that.
Starting point is 00:02:51 Everybody, we played the best against them. And now we got all that intel. Yes, and we're playing them in our early round. So we might catch them off guard. What's over there? Don't pay attention to me. Have we been, um, benching some of our like good play like how the clippers are benching their big players in order for the playoffs no they don't know how to play in the playoffs so that's what they think it's supposed to happen oh okay we have it yeah we know how to practice yeah do you think the clippers are higher up in the standings do you think the lakers will go further in the playoffs or the clippers will go further in the playoffs granted lakers are a playoff team we know what we've been here yeah been around this road regular yeah we know what's up what to expect to be honest the west western
Starting point is 00:03:32 conference is so tough this year. Like, like, not even climbing. Nick, you're not saying what I need you to be saying. I know, no, no, because the clippers might not make it out either. They're playing the fitzied, which is Luca Donchich and Kyrie Irving. Oh, yeah. And Jacob made a line about him, Luke Don'tchette. No, yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:47 So, yeah, so we're both playing really, really tough first round opponents. Facts. Okay, but do you think the Lakers are going to get? He said, they're going to get. They're going to cook their ass. Yes. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:57 Yeah. Yes, that's got. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Steve Balmer. We have a 54. percent chance.
Starting point is 00:04:03 Yeah. I like the 54. I like the 54. What's the Clippers percentage? Hey, look, it's time to do a hint for where's Greg? Okay, today Greg is going to be out in the streets. Yes. And you start brown bag mornings after the day.
Starting point is 00:04:15 It's a party. It's a party. It's a party. It's a party. It's a party. It's a party. It's already going to be next week. All right.
Starting point is 00:04:22 If you don't get through the phone lines, I see all the messages all the time. I'm calling. I'm not kidding. There's another way to win these two gates. And that's by finding Greg out in these streets, okay? I'm bum rushing. All right. Where have you been? You've been to Marieti Plaza. Dodger Stadium. Staple Center. Crypto.
Starting point is 00:04:38 Crypto. But all of that, right? And so you've been getting requests to go other places, right? They want me on a tour. They want me on tour. They don't want you, brother. They want the tickets. You are the holder of the tickets, okay? Yeah, so people take pictures of me. I'm like, let me kiss your baby. I'll send you. That's very odd. Kissing foreheads. All right.
Starting point is 00:04:57 All right. Well. Greg is going to be out on the streets today at 8.30 a.m. And here is your clue on where he is going. Okay, yesterday you were outside. Yes, I was outside trying to get some money. Yeah, asking for change. You know, got to make it out here. And that's your first hint.
Starting point is 00:05:13 And he's a gas money. Not that you're outside asking for change. We're not going to be there. All right. This is your first hint. You're mine. What is that? And we belong together.
Starting point is 00:05:25 That is the voice of an angel. What? What was that supposed to be? I don't know. It sounded like a crying baby. That is the voice of Fergie and like Jesus had a baby. Like I ain't cheetah. Okay, can we just try again?
Starting point is 00:05:36 Please bear with us in your ears if they hurt. Check this out. You're mine and we belong together. What gets me mad is you start good and then you just hit it different. I know there was somebody out there. It was like, get this man a contract right now for senior. No, he does not know how to follow the rhythm. And you're in a charge.
Starting point is 00:05:57 charge of the rhythm. So the fact that you couldn't be on rhythm with yourself is wild to me. It's a new style. Have you ever thought about like hitting the notes? Yeah. I feel like I did pretty good. Try it again. Try it again.
Starting point is 00:06:08 Ready? Go. You're mine and we belong together. Okay, boom. I know that song and I just feel like you need to pause a little bit longer. Yeah, you go too fast. I need to warm up my vocal seat. Three, two, one.
Starting point is 00:06:23 You're mine. Stop. And we belong Together Yes we belong together For how long For eternity You're so cute
Starting point is 00:06:40 I think we gave it away No, that's only one Some people don't know oldies Or where they come from Power 106 Simp Or Pimp Sins, Sets, Sets, Sips.
Starting point is 00:06:58 You're right there? I'm okay. It looks like Adrian Broner added another loss to his record. Oh, B. Yes. Are we about to cook him? Yes. Broner.
Starting point is 00:07:07 So, Coyleret was on. Boxer, Adrian Broner. Coilery was on Instagram Live. And, you know, people are just dropping comments. And, you know, she's talking. And I don't know where you see Adrian Boner come in and say, I'm on your body. Oh. Shut up.
Starting point is 00:07:25 That's the story. Adrian Broner said? That's how he started it. That's how he opened? That was like the first one. I'm on your body. Yes. That's wild.
Starting point is 00:07:32 That's weird. Out of pocket. Out of pocket. Super out of pocket. Coiler Ray is like young. Like 20. I think she's 23. Yeah, she's in the 20s for sure.
Starting point is 00:07:41 Broner is like our age. Old. Whoa. So like a day. I'm kidding. Oh, she's 26. Oh, she's 26. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:07:47 She just looks really young. She does. Yeah. That's more more of what it is. I'm on your body as well. He's actually 34. So it's not. Not too crazy.
Starting point is 00:07:56 Not too bad. We've known A-B for a long time. That's the thing. That we've known him for a long time. And then he's like, be at my next fight in Miami, May 31st at the hard rock on me with a heart. That's inviting her out. That's pretty smooth right there. The first time that she said, well, that he said I'm on your body.
Starting point is 00:08:14 Did she acknowledge it? She caught it. She caught it. The first time. And then he did the invite. Yeah, which he should have started with the invite, in my opinion. He should have never said that I'm on your buddy. It's really hard to comment on a live when you have a check, like a verified check.
Starting point is 00:08:31 Yeah, it just stands out. Yeah. And then this is what, Quilera replied. Try to bag me on a Instagram live is fucking crazy. Like, get the fuck on. Okay, go on. Okay. Okay.
Starting point is 00:08:47 I'm not interested. Like, that's fucking corny. I wouldn't expect her to sound like that. She sounds mad and annoyed. It's disgusting. I'm getting cooked. That's Adrian Brunner. He knew.
Starting point is 00:09:06 He prepared himself. And you know the thing about Broner is that anytime he interviews, anytime he has a mic in front of him, he's going to say some wild things. So him saying, him opening wildly like that. I'm on your body? But it's him for sure. It caught her attention, though.
Starting point is 00:09:20 That it has her attention. Not in a good way. Not in a good way. She sounds annoyed, bro. Like, yo, do not do that. It's corny. But if we see her at that match, we'll see if she wants her. Highly doubt it.
Starting point is 00:09:30 It's different when, like, you're doing that to a successful woman. Like, that's not a flex. Like, she can fly out there herself. That'll back Stephanie. Buy tickets. Yeah. It's different. 2-1-3 or whatever.
Starting point is 00:09:41 That's not going to back Coil-Lery. Shout to Stephanie 2-13. I'm sure you're a beautiful lady. You're not. It's not that impressive. She was, like, probably in, like, a sprinter van. As that's happening, you know, like she has her own it. She's got her own flexes.
Starting point is 00:09:56 She probably has a show somewhere at that time. Yeah, so it just doesn't hit the same. You can easily de-emned her, like just to invite, hey, I got a fight in Miami. Like, I got you on me. Boom, leave it at that. I know, it's a free trip right there. I'm on your body?
Starting point is 00:10:10 That's where it gets a little. To me, the funniest part is that they say like, oh, just shoot your shot, man. What's the worst that could happen? Yeah. This is the worst. I'm getting cooked. Her reaction was really like, oh.
Starting point is 00:10:25 It was like, it was just not a no. It's like, that's crazy. That's corny. I can't believe. Are you being dead at? It was like, whoa. But she kept going. But when's the fight?
Starting point is 00:10:34 No, I definitely don't think that it's in heaven, no. So that's for that reason, he's sent on. All right. All right. Yeah. All right. Simps. Simps.
Starting point is 00:10:44 Sim! Keep it here. Sin 106. Word on Rosecrans. The word is Kendrick's alleged disc is confirmed to be AI. Okay? The creator of it came clean about it. All right.
Starting point is 00:11:01 So look, we've all been waiting for Kendrick Lamar's response to Drake's disc track where he said Kendrick has a size seven shoe and that top dog takes 50% of whatever he makes or whatever he said. Right. And since everyone's been so thirsty for Kendrick's response, there was a song that people thought may have leaked or was AI. It was up for debate. Half the people were saying, oh, okay, this is clearly AI. other people are saying, no, it's a leak and it's weak and just admit it. Similar to what happened with Drake. Because Drake's diss song leaked.
Starting point is 00:11:30 Everyone thought it was AI and then it actually turned out to be the real diss song. Yeah. Because he has leaks in his operation. And so then people are assuming this other track that was leaked coming from Kendrick was the same thing. Is this AI? Is this Kendrick? And it got so much traction that one of Drake's associates, OVO Hush, he posted it. and was like, oh, yeah, this is real.
Starting point is 00:11:54 And then Drake commented and laughed about it. And so the creator, he's like, he's a West Coast artist. His name is Cy the rapper. And he just had to come out and come clean. He's like, look, this is how I made the song, y'all. This is not real. Listen to this. Yo, yo, yo, Cy the rapper here.
Starting point is 00:12:08 And this is how I created the viral AI, Kendrick Lamar disc track. Now, first you got to get a beat that sound like chaos and the world is ending. You got to write some lyrics and spit them the way that Kda would write him and spit them. I utter my name three times in front of your mirror. You have to take them proceed after you reconsider I know Kendrick Lamar likes to emphasize his tease Grab your glocks when you see K dot And let's listen to how to finish results, Sam
Starting point is 00:12:32 Grab your glass when you see Ked dot better Cargos writer's just a beat kickdots I came with a full click but only need one shot That's crazy It's how good it could sound Yeah literally and he's done this before He did this with the Kanye Like that's his thing
Starting point is 00:12:48 Yeah he does like videos and like skits So his goal with it was to like go viral. Yeah, because he posted it on YouTube. Yes. And he posted it like as like Kendrick diss song, which would locate just the most obvious whatever. And then it got taken. And then it's funny to me because like you said,
Starting point is 00:13:06 OVO Hush. Yeah. Who needs to Ovio Hush? Literally. I didn't even know he was part of the crew, but allegedly he's some type of affiliate to to Drake. He's like, this is real. I don't think y'all would know if it was.
Starting point is 00:13:19 Like I don't think you guys would be the ones that would confirm. Oh yeah, if this song from Kendrick is real. Yeah. And then Drake is like laughing. And Drake is taunting Kendrick. Like, where's it at?
Starting point is 00:13:29 You know, Drake's this song dropped this weekend. And he needs the response ASAP Rocky, even though he gave us his response about two or three weeks. You know, it's later. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And he's just been taunting Kendrick and taunting Rick Ross and kind of like, he's been very heavy on social media. Oh, yeah, he has.
Starting point is 00:13:46 He's posting memes. He was like, yeah, like he kind of was laughing at if this is real. then Kendrick lost and all of that. And it's not real. It's not real. It's not real. It sounds really good, though. It sounds really like, really like, even for like,
Starting point is 00:13:58 yeah, it sounds like authentic. Yeah, very, yeah. Yeah, he even went and gave a little bit more explanation of just like how he's like, you know what, I just had to come clean. This song is viral on YouTube. It's called One Shot. I ain't going to lie. I stock myself.
Starting point is 00:14:11 I thought it was going to sound fake. I thought people was going to be able to tell it was fake. People think it's actually real. So I just want to come out for the record and say that it's AI. That's not Kendrick's response. I know. Kendrick going to come harder than that. I just couldn't get too disrespectful because I ain't in a beef, you feel
Starting point is 00:14:25 me. Ain't nobody dissed me. It's actually funny. I've seen Drake heard it and commented. He laughed. Yeah. Yeah. So he was like, yeah, this is a...
Starting point is 00:14:33 Kendrick's going to, he agrees. Kendrick's going to come way harder than me. Yeah. I just keep thinking. I'm like, that dude got peed on YouTube. All those views? Oh, all of you? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:42 AI is scary. Yes. AI is very scary. For real. Because of how you can sound like that. What if they don't? What if that is actually the disqual? track. It's not.
Starting point is 00:14:52 No. I'm going to tell you a couple things. I'm a distraction. It's a distraction because Kendrick was like I can go harder but this one leaked. It paid him. Yeah, paid him to cover it. He's in
Starting point is 00:15:04 cahoots with side of rapper. I'm going to tell you why. It's not going to leak from Kendrick. We're not going to get a leak from him. He's not going to have the things that like you got to think with Drake everyone is against him. Even people
Starting point is 00:15:20 that are in his circle. And that's why you get leaks from Drake and people are coming. That's not the same with Kendrick. And it sucks because Drake should have been able to control his diss song. He probably had a cool little rollout. He probably was going to pop up somewhere
Starting point is 00:15:33 in L.A. and drop it or something. But Kendrick's going to be in control, Loki. No pun intended. Love the actual rollout. Another thing. When Kendrick's going to make it sound vibes. It's not going to sound like the control song. It's not going to sound like...
Starting point is 00:15:49 He's not going to do the same. Same thing he's already done. No. He's going to make a song that could actually be a hit. Himself saying, if I got to go hard on someone, I'm going to make it look sexy. Like, he's going to make it sound vibes. So the song that we're going to hear is not going to be over. Like, he's like, there's chaos.
Starting point is 00:16:05 It has to be chaos. No, no, no, no. That was the first sign I knew this isn't the diss song. Yeah. He's doesn't, he's not trying to do that right. And he's not going to go for the low hanging fruit. No, no, no, no. And it's going to be amazing.
Starting point is 00:16:18 And I have to shut up now. Wait. And then I go, let's see more! Speaking of leaks, all right, look, the baby does a friend. Shut up. The baby did a freestyle with our very own L.A. leaker, just incredible. Come on. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:36 Because, you know, we're all thinking, like, what does the baby think? Yes. Throughout this whole situation. I had to know, I couldn't sleep at night. Yeah. What did he say? And what I loved about this is the baby admitted he kind of humbled himself. Oh, like that?
Starting point is 00:16:49 Over the like that beat. Okay. Yes. So he admitted that he kind of fell off a little bit. His rap career fell off a little bit. But it sounds incredible. All right. You guys are listening to this.
Starting point is 00:17:00 Knock the n-out and hurt my hand. I think I hit him wrong. Just got sent to $150,000 and did it so. I used to get $300,000 in 2020, but I'm shaking back. Okay. I can start a war with that little money you play you at. Ain't talking about no fit it when I sit and think about my favorite hat. In time I catch it.
Starting point is 00:17:16 It was talking crazy. I make them take it back. And I put that on my daddy. Hey. Hey. So yeah, so he admitted he used to get $150 to do a song. No, 300. No, yeah, sorry.
Starting point is 00:17:26 He used to get $300 to do a song. Now he gets $150. Yeah. He's like, it's all right. He's like, but I'm shaking back. He's on his climb back up. But what I admired about that is most rappers would never admit that they've had a dip in their career. And with DeBaby, it's pretty obvious, right?
Starting point is 00:17:39 Like he said some things on stage, you know, and a lot of people try to cancel them. And then, you know, just other things like, you know, a lot of people kind of criticize them of, like having repetitive songs, repetitive clothes. but he's on the way back Yeah, people were paying like 300K for the same Same person That's crazy And even like the thing going on with him now That supposedly he took $20 from a YouTuber
Starting point is 00:18:02 Reportedly allegedly No he admitted to it He did he tweeted and he said I didn't run with it Unreported it allegedly I walked away with it He really said that There's a difference Yeah he's like there's a difference but I'm gonna give it back
Starting point is 00:18:15 And I'm gonna give like a thousand dollars back to each girl in that room. It was one of those like 20 versus one. Oh, the 20 versus one. Oh, got you. Those videos, it's like interview videos
Starting point is 00:18:28 where different girls pop up and the guy is in the middle and then the... Yeah, it was one of those videos. It's a new style of, I guess, interviewing. Oh, yeah, the 20 versus... We'll do that at the like show for you, brother. Who shows you?
Starting point is 00:18:40 Yeah. We'll watch you fold in front of 20 girls. Sounds good. Hopefully Ruth lets you. I know you're right now. Oh. Shout out the LA Leakers. Shout out sour milk and just incredible because what they have done throughout these past, this past decade and decades
Starting point is 00:18:57 is literally provide the freestyles that we all talk about. They create conversation and here they are again going at it. So I love that. I love that. They're killing. I love that. We love it. Shout out the leakers.
Starting point is 00:19:10 All right. And that was your word on Rose Cranz. I'm Rose Cranz for Brown Bag Mornings. I'm Power 106. This is Be Real from Cypress Hill. Where are you from, Esse? Don't you know I'm local? Have you ever been on a main street and said, wow, this is charming.
Starting point is 00:19:24 Yes. Yes. You're liars. You're liars, okay? So, there was a survey put out to find the best, most charming main streets in America, okay? And I'm going to tell you right now, California didn't even make the top ten. What? No, none of our streets.
Starting point is 00:19:42 I know how they're there, right? With all our potholes and all our everything, right? None of, but we did make the top 100. Out of all the streets in America, only two from California made it into the top 100. So that means like we're way, way, way, yeah, way, way down. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. All right.
Starting point is 00:20:00 Should I have you guys guess or should I tell you which streets? I already know which one. Okay, which one? Only two. Van Life Bullard did not be. No. No. I've never been on that line.
Starting point is 00:20:11 Shout up the Valley. And then the palm trees are beautiful. Shut up. Shut up. Bro. Shut up. You can stop by the Yoshinoa? You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:20:20 Relax. Bad Nice is big. And shout out to that's where cruising. You're cruising. No problem. You're cruising. Not low riding, but actual cruising because of how big the street is. Everything bad is big.
Starting point is 00:20:31 Yeah, I saw it in LA in a minute. Shout our guy, I love it. But yeah, yeah, shout out that nice for that. Yeah. Although still I wouldn't say it's a try to try. No, bro. Come on. And I love the Valley.
Starting point is 00:20:43 I'm very badly. You got to look up. Don't look around. Don't look at the sidewalk. Don't look at the bullet holes that are stuck in the pavement. Oh, damn. Shout out by nice. Anybody else?
Starting point is 00:20:56 Yeah. Fig. Yeah, fig. Shot! What? You guys are doing it wrong. What? Charming?
Starting point is 00:21:01 Oh, it's charming. It's very charming. Oh, it's charming. They'll charm your pants off. I know. $40. There's somebody named Charming in there as well. I just got it.
Starting point is 00:21:11 I thought you guys were talking like by the crypto arena and all that stuff. I mean, you can drive there, yeah. You can drive down. Yeah, there's a couple. It's as long. You guys are annoying. Yeah, Cochinos. Those are the most charming street.
Starting point is 00:21:25 Oh, it's so charming. Main Street. I think the girl's name's charming. Yeah. Firestone. Stop. Yeah, Firestone. What about Whittier Boulevard?
Starting point is 00:21:34 What about Whittier's? Charming? It's charming. It's charming. Yeah, it's cool. Yeah. That's cool. And you didn't play anything.
Starting point is 00:21:40 It's all right. Yeah. I don't know if you guys have ever been to San Marino. There's this street. Huntington Drive. Oh Huntington Drive. That was actually really like beautiful. By the Huntington Library. Yeah all of that but it's gorgeous. It has like those clocks like old like grandfather claws. Yeah yeah yeah. How is a PCH not on there? I don't think it's a main street isn't it's a coastal highway. Yeah it's not a street.
Starting point is 00:22:03 Okay that is true. But that's how that's how that it seems like a street. Can I tell you the two streets are right. Jesus. Yeah. Okay. Number 25 overall the most charming main streets is is 25 mission drive in Solvang. Where the hell of Solvang? Solvang. Because there's missions everywhere. There's like two streets in Solvang. That's it.
Starting point is 00:22:24 I don't even know how to spell Solvang. But when I think of Solvang, I definitely think charming. No, it's in the middle of nowhere. Definitely, all of those correct. All of that's correct. It's like this little Dutch town. Like over there they got crepes. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:22:37 I don't know that they have electricity. They're like supervised. Close at 8 p.m. There's like a setting to a scary movie. Yes. Yeah. If we go as a group, we're being followed everywhere we're going. For sure.
Starting point is 00:22:48 Dude, last time I was there, someone's like, get out of here. Oh, for sure. For sure. It's crazy. While they're wearing clogs. Yeah. You know, like, a little kid and it's a small world, how they have the clock. That's what Solvangue.
Starting point is 00:22:58 You're like Pinocchio. Yes. That looks like the city would be named Goober Schmugan. But it's charming, right? Yeah, charming. You could feed ostriches. That's number 25, okay? Number 14 overall.
Starting point is 00:23:13 It's State Street. No, not in Bull Heights. Definitely not that State Street. And Anna? But I'm sure they're very charming over there as well. State College. In Santa Barbara. Santa Barbara.
Starting point is 00:23:22 State Street, Santa Barbara is nice. Yes. I guess there's theaters there, boutique businesses, restaurants. What do they have that? We don't have. Yeah, there's only like three streets over there. Wine. A lot of wine.
Starting point is 00:23:36 That beach is really nice too, huh? Everyone loves Santa Barbara. That's such a bias list. That's probably the street is that pier right there. They said that it's Spanish colonial style, so your people are there. I've been there. It's really nice. And they have like the, it's kind of blocked off the street sometimes.
Starting point is 00:23:53 And they have like live music and a bunch of restaurants. It's vibes. Okay. It says those who walk along State Street will get shot. I'm just kidding. That's my boyhacks again. Those who walk along State Street, it's close to vehicle traffic. So you could just feel the vibes.
Starting point is 00:24:07 Ride your bike. Beautiful. No. Been there. We still want, we still want, we still want, Van Nuys and Figueroa to be a part of this show. What streets are more influential than those two? It's not influential, brother.
Starting point is 00:24:19 It's charming. Charming. It's streets that you're passing by, you're like, wow, this is so charming. I can hear the birds. Solvang is one of those places, and it's very odd. But you've never been there, right, Vic? You never been there? You never been there?
Starting point is 00:24:35 Yeah, I've been there. Yeah, do you get what I'm saying? It's very, like, it's, it's, it is charming. It's like a good little bitaway. I get it. I get it. I get why it's there. I don't know. Charming and Greg don't go together. Wow. Well, the thing is like...
Starting point is 00:24:45 It's in the middle of nowhere. There's a lot of nothing. Last time we booked, we tried to book a little hotel, and it ended up being a tent. Who is we? A tent? Me and an ex-lover. Is that why you don't like so much?
Starting point is 00:24:58 No, I don't like it because it closes at eight, and it's like three streets, and it's like, all right. And you booked a tent? We thought it was a room. What? It got ripped off. It was charming. It was charming.
Starting point is 00:25:10 It was like we fed ostrichage. Yeah, she's like, oh, my ex trying to put me in a tent. Did you take those little, have you been there before? Yeah, I've been there before. Did you take the little cars and stuff? Yeah, it's the little, okay, you know, sometimes in beaches, you can get, like, on this little thing that you can, like, drive yourself or whatever. They have those there, too. It's charming.
Starting point is 00:25:28 It's charming, dog. Go in love. Go in love. I get it. You go with your girl. Yeah, there's a little small. Yeah. It's charming.
Starting point is 00:25:35 Catalina Islands has that street. Whatever the freak charming is defined as. Who's the funny. So bad. Yeah. It's not charming. You're going to tell me that's more charming than going to Rosecrans in Atlantic and you go to the laundromat or you go to Louis Burgers?
Starting point is 00:25:49 No, you're just, you're charming there. But this is charming. It's actually charming. Not charming. All right. Well, there was that. We love you. Okay.
Starting point is 00:25:59 Warriors come out to play. Sorry, you just wanted to say hi to all the Warriors. Shout out to you. We made fun of you earlier. Oh, yeah. And we're going to make fun of you again! Let's do it. Aw, how does it feel?
Starting point is 00:26:17 To wake up and you're not in the playoffs. You're eliminated. How does it feel to watch your kingdom crumble? Yeah. Is that Caesar? Hey, you can relate, huh? Yeah. A little clipper fan.
Starting point is 00:26:29 How does it feel? Well, actually. Can you really? No, they never had anything like substantial. The championship like that. You have to have something. Hey, Vic, go ahead and talk. To like, oh, yes.
Starting point is 00:26:38 All right, Clippers, go ahead and exit in the first round. Oh, it's okay. Lakers, we. upright now, but it could change in a drop of a dime. Or AD's injury, it depends on. Oh, stop. No, no, no. Knock on wood, knock on wood, please.
Starting point is 00:26:52 Please don't, because that might hurt him too. He might hurt his knuckles doing that. Just kidding. Healthy all season. Yes, yes. He's going to come through. His bones strong now. Like bamboo.
Starting point is 00:27:01 Been drinking milk. Yeah. She's been taking in that. Whatever helps bones. Yeah. Calcium. Yes. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:08 All right. Well, shout out to them. Who else we got a shout out. We got a lot of shout-out. Will wants to shout out his. fiance, Alandra, and his son's Willie Ollondra. Okay.
Starting point is 00:27:18 Alondra. Alondra. These are the most simple name. Alondra. It's a street. What are you saying like that? Alondra. Alondra.
Starting point is 00:27:29 Alondra. Alondra. Alondra. Alondra. Allondra. It's like you're going to say Alondra. Alondra. But just stop.
Starting point is 00:27:36 Alondra. Alondra. Alondra and his son's Willie, Ricky and Nico. Shout out to Erica from Downey, who tunes in every day. Come on, Erica. What's up, baby girl? Lexi and Greta want to shout out.
Starting point is 00:27:49 They listen to us every morning as well. Come on. All right. Marilyn wants us to shout out her son, AJ, for being student of the month. Come on, AJ. And we got a couple birthdays as well. Okay. Elmo wants to wish her daughter, Sophia, a happy ninth birthday.
Starting point is 00:28:02 Sophia. Judith wants to wish her daughter, Abigail, a happy eighth birthday. Abby! Ruben wants to wish his daughter, Sophia, a happy ninth birthday. a happy birthday as well. Sophia is turning up. Armando wants to wish his daughter Abigail
Starting point is 00:28:17 a happy birthday as well from mom, dad, Jade, and Manning. Hold on. There's two Abby's and two Sophia's. It's not the same. Are you sure? It's not the same, yeah. We were double-checking right now.
Starting point is 00:28:27 It's very crazy. Different usernames. Two-so-few. Even different states. Different states? Yeah, one of them from Texas. That's so crazy. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:38 This is totally sidetracking. But so my name's Letty. Hi, everybody. Hi, Lethe. I'm Greg. I have an older sister. Her name's Monica.
Starting point is 00:28:47 Hi, Monica. Hi, Monica. Love you. That's Leigh. I'm Greg. Can I finish the story fool? There's another girl in radio in Arizona and her name's Letty and her sister's name is Monica.
Starting point is 00:28:59 She doesn't go by Letty on air, but then like we all talk and she's like, oh yeah, my name's letty. My sister name is Monica. I was like, wait, hold on. Are you? And it feels like. Spider-Man. Spider-Man.
Starting point is 00:29:09 Yeah. Weird. So shout out to Sophie. Sophia, Abby, and Sophia and Abby. Yeah. Whoa. I'm happy to you. Felizcobloza.
Starting point is 00:29:19 Ah, me. I'm all dizzy. Okay. Greg is out on the streets today. Yes, I am on the street. Let me see your little. Where's Greg? Where's Greg?
Starting point is 00:29:28 Where's Greg? Where's Greg? Yeah, he does. Yes, I do. He has our Brownback mornings after dark, so if you can't win them by calling in to win, you could find him on the streets. You have two.
Starting point is 00:29:38 I got two pairs of. Oh, you got two. One, a two. Two purse. Y'all have to be up. Y'all heard the man. Two purse. I need two purse.
Starting point is 00:29:49 All right. And your first hint of where he's going to be at this morning. Yep. Go ahead and sing it, brother. You're mine and we below. You don't do the pause. Oh, I do the pause. All right.
Starting point is 00:30:02 You're mine. Pause. And we belong together. Do you see? It feels smooth in the throat, you know? Like, yeah, it feels a little better. Smooth in the throat. Why?
Starting point is 00:30:16 Why do you keep looking at Jose while you sing? Yeah. You were making eye contact. It's kind of. All right, you guys, we just shouted out, kids. Lost in his eyes. All right. That's your first hint.
Starting point is 00:30:27 Your second hint we're going to give you right before Homie Healthline, okay? We got your second hint of where he's going to be at. Some of you, if you know, you already know where he's going to be at. Find him 8.30. He has two. Bumrush. What? You let you know?
Starting point is 00:30:38 You let you know? We know. But some people don't. Yeah. I would have never known. Especially the way he sang it. I don't know because y'all are my homies. Otherwise, I wouldn't have known.
Starting point is 00:30:49 All right. Find out the next thing after this. It's Power 106. LA's number one for hip hop. Is it okay if we do our job? Is it okay? All right. All right.
Starting point is 00:31:01 Check this out, homie. You need a homie or need some help. We need your help. We need a line. I mean, phone line. We got you for. The homie. Helpline.
Starting point is 00:31:11 Homely helpline. I just got my homegirl in trouble on the radio. My bad. Did it to yourself. All right, look. We're helping the homegirl Carol. All right. She sent us a DM and said,
Starting point is 00:31:22 Brown Bag, please tell me why my ex-husband keeps popping up trying to be friends. Uh-oh. She said, I still love, I still have love for him, but I don't want to be friends. Do I tell him,
Starting point is 00:31:34 I hope things will change or tell him I don't want to be friends? We have a lot of chemistry, A lot of history and a lot of baggage from our marriage. I know I don't want a repeat of the drama and stuff we went through during our marriage. Please help me brown bag. Okay, so they were married? Yep.
Starting point is 00:31:49 A ex-husband. No mention of kids. No. I also didn't say how long. How long they were married? They were married. But we got her on the line. Hey, Carol.
Starting point is 00:31:58 Carol? Carol. Carol? Carol. Is this Carol G? Good morning. Good morning, Carol. Love your album.
Starting point is 00:32:06 Kiding. All right, Carol. Talk to us, Mama-sita. You have an ex-husband. How long were you guys married? We were together 10 plus years and only married for a little over a year before a file for legal separation. Damn. Okay, just off of that alone, that experience, do you suggest or not if someone's been together for a long time to get married?
Starting point is 00:32:27 Because there's like that whole thing of if you've been together for a long time, you guys getting married kind of ruins it. Yes and no. Our circumstances were very different, so. Well, where are they? I would like to know your circumstances. You're very secretive. He was in prison for 12 plus years. Oh.
Starting point is 00:32:47 Okay. Okay. You guys were together while he was in. You're funny. Okay. You kept that out. So the 10 plus years you were together with him, he was locked up. Yes.
Starting point is 00:32:56 He gets out. Y'all get married. We got married before he got out. You got married before he got out. Like in jail. Yeah. In the slumber. And you also get divorced while he was inside too?
Starting point is 00:33:09 I divorced him after he got out. After he got out. Wow, that's crazy. Was he like having a pen pal? Was he false advertisement? Yeah, what was the deal? Did he just tell you everything you wanted to hear while he was locked up and then that changed? No, no.
Starting point is 00:33:23 I knew him before he went in, but when he got out, he went back to his old ways and we had a son, but we lost our son and I was like, I'm not doing this again. I'm sorry about that. So. Okay. So you don't have children besides your child that is in heaven right now? Correct. Okay. So the break for you was a little bit more manageable because there was no, like you said,
Starting point is 00:33:49 you guys have baggage in history, but you can stay apart. You can't, you don't have to really talk to him should, unless you want to. You know what I'm saying? Yeah, there's no reason. There's no reason. I always tell him, we don't have any living children. There's no reason for us to be each other's life. But he has since reached out to you.
Starting point is 00:34:07 Like, hey, what's up? Hey, girl. Multiple times. Yeah, but what's changed about him? The only thing is he's sober. Okay. That's good. That's a lot.
Starting point is 00:34:21 That's big. That's step one. But other than that, nothing. You sound conflicted, Carol. You sound very conflict. I'm going to tell you that right now. She's about that life. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:32 So you're really asking, should you tell him like, hey, I don't think this is a good idea? Or should you rekindle it? She wants us to tell her yes to rekindle it. No, no, I told him, like, I am not going to be your friend. I don't want to be friends. And I already told him, you know, we spent almost a decade together total. And told him, I said, I still love you and I will always love you. And I have not moved on.
Starting point is 00:35:03 You know, it's been since 2020, I have not moved on. And it's like, don't come up in my business-ish. You, quote, unquote, just want to be friends because that ain't my. Oh, so if he comes back in, you want him to be your partner? Yeah. Oh, okay, Carol. Makes sense now. But he just wants to be homies?
Starting point is 00:35:23 He's like, I just want to be friends, and I said, no. Carol, so do you miss him like that? You would get back with him? Oh, I, Carolina. That bread said it all. Yeah. I already know. Yes and no.
Starting point is 00:35:41 All right. It's, it's, it's like, it's yes. What is it about him that you want to be with again? It's the burpees. The burpees, yeah, no burpees. Is it the spread? The spread? The spread? The burpees and the spread.
Starting point is 00:35:56 Hey, yo. Spread always hits. Kind of spread, we're talking? No, we had really great. We had really great chemistry, and we were really, really great friends. And he was my best friend for, you know, almost. 18 years and it's really hard to lose that person that you
Starting point is 00:36:16 feel you really fit with and that person that you don't always have to explain yourself to but they get you right yeah they just look at your face and they can see they can exactly what it is so then what's the problem you guys from being together because you also were the one that filed yes I'm the one that filed
Starting point is 00:36:33 I told him the monkey that's on your back it's not my monkey to carry and I don't want to carry it Oh my god, he has him again as well Can you please tell me? Is that a... She's referring to like addiction. I'm referring to addiction. What?
Starting point is 00:36:51 I've never heard that reference. So you always say you're going to go into like the gorilla. Right. You know, who's going to win and I say what he's going to do. Right. Like I don't want to have to render
Starting point is 00:37:03 because I already went through that. Yeah. It's a daily like struggle. And it is a battle for you as well as it is. for that person. Clearly people that are there for someone that's battling like that, love them and want to be there for them,
Starting point is 00:37:19 but also take a lot. Like you guys have to take a lot of the journey that you didn't sign up for. So I understand that too. I also understand that there are people in that fight for other people that are going through it because it's like you're just going to stick it out, right? But you're just saying like, look, and maybe that helped him get clean because you said that he's clean now. Yeah, he's clean now.
Starting point is 00:37:42 Right. So to you, he's clean now. Boom, the thing that I left him for isn't an issue anymore. Yep. But he wants to just come in your life again as a friend. Yeah, that's what he says. Maybe that's where he wants to start. Or maybe he has someone else already.
Starting point is 00:38:00 Apparently, he doesn't. Okay. He doesn't tell you that he doesn't. I don't know. Okay. You got to commit. And you haven't moved on, Carol. No.
Starting point is 00:38:10 What does your family think about him? Can you talk to your family about it or are they kind of over him too? I'm sure families can be judgmental if he was just not in jail, but also he has an issue that he's fighting like that. Are they supportive? When he first got out, they were. And they told him, you have nothing to prove to us. You just have to prove it to my sister and treat her right,
Starting point is 00:38:37 which obviously didn't happen. So now, if they ever run into one street, it probably would not be a pretty sight. Wow. Yeah. You don't have to say anymore. Yeah. Say it less. I understand the baby, Carol.
Starting point is 00:38:54 I'm the baby, so. Yeah. Yeah. You're the baby. And you want to be his baby again, but he don't want that baby. The brother says a friend. Carol, do you feel like you've invested so much time and it's like something that kind of, that's what kind of, that's what kind of, that's what kind of. makes you not want to throw it away completely?
Starting point is 00:39:14 Yes, and I also feel like they have said before we're dating their potential. Yeah. Because I know what he can be. What he can be, but he's also shown you what he's been. What he is. How long have you guys not been together? No. We touched or rekindled slightly September last year.
Starting point is 00:39:41 stopped talking November, and then he just recently reached out to me again. Oh, after the holidays. After the Valentine's Day. Hey, something you're going to save. This is my playbook. That was when he was like buckling down on being sober. That's why. He didn't want any instructions.
Starting point is 00:39:58 And you haven't dated again. You haven't tried to date? He tried, but it's always... They're not him. They're not him. Oh, my God. Oh, God. Oh.
Starting point is 00:40:17 Carolina sprung. They can never be here. Yeah. She's nice. Yeah. She got to hit up a different homeboy industry. Oh, you have me to sing it? Yeah, sing it.
Starting point is 00:40:29 That's what she plays out. Yeah, she likes that. Letters. Yeah, she probably misses those letters. You know, when I get out, I swear I'm a change. He just wants to be friends. I'm a different man. Now I change, I swear.
Starting point is 00:40:46 If you come back in my life, we got to come back in my life. We can have program time together. Girl, I'm going to give you everything when I get home, girl. I do all my burpees for you. No, he did all of that. Yeah, he did all that. She left him. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:40:57 Because he was dealing with something. And she just couldn't deal with it with him. It's not you. It's me, me, ha. Don't worry about it. That's not what he said. No. She left.
Starting point is 00:41:06 You just want to come back. You just want to come back. There's real gangsters listening like, oh my God. That's pretty accurate. That's pretty accurate. All right. How do we help baby girl? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:41:18 Let's help her out. 8185-2059. I think it actually is should she, like, try to just just not even go back to that. Or try to be friends with him. Who's her ex-husband, she still has feelings for her. If she does get him back in her life, she wants the actual thing. Commitment.
Starting point is 00:41:34 She's not trying to be his homie. Right. Or she just, like, try her best to move on. And find someone that can replace the irreplaceable. To give a hint for Greg. Where's Greg? Where's Greg? Where's Greg.
Starting point is 00:41:47 On to the street. Greg, I'm about to kick you out of here. For real. Let's tell you to go by 830. Should I do some burpees when I'm over there? Do it, try it. Yeah, do that voice there. See what happens.
Starting point is 00:41:58 I'm going to do it over there. Yeah, that's your next hint. Yeah, all right, so Greg's out on the streets today. He has our brown bag mornings after dark live show. Your first hint was, Your mind and we belong together. I love it, brother. Voice of an angel.
Starting point is 00:42:19 And your second hint is. Open from sun up to sundown Boom, okay Open from sun up to sun down All right, if you know, you know And we'll see you there at 830, okay? Greg at least will, right? 5106
Starting point is 00:42:34 KPWR, Los Angeles Yes, sir 5106 We are Lays number more for hip hop And us Yes And we're inside the homie help line
Starting point is 00:42:44 We're trying to help Carol Carol hit us up Cambo G She has an ex-husband Okay, they got together or they were together while he was in jail, got married while he was in jail. She filed for separation a bit after he got out of jail.
Starting point is 00:42:59 He's been going through a lot of addiction and stuff like that. He has been sober since, though. Like, they separated. Then it's okay. Are you good, brother? He got sober, and he kind of want to come back. He wants to come back in her life as a friend. And she's just like, look, I love him.
Starting point is 00:43:16 We do have history, but I don't have ties with him like that. We have a child that passed away. so we really don't have any like real not not real clear that's still a real reason but we don't have a reason for me to just be in contact with him unless it's because we are deciding to really just be together be around each other all of that fully commit and she's saying like look he's the guy that I kind of compare every other guy to yeah that's like her friend yeah and if I don't want to be around him if it's just as a friend yeah so should I tell him let's not be friends or should I like or should I try being friends with him yeah Yeah. Is Carol still on the line? Yes. Carol. I'm still here.
Starting point is 00:43:57 Did I get that right? Carol. Like that's a good question. Like, should you try to be friends with him or should you just leave it be? Because you know what you would want with him. Correct. All right, Momcita. All right, so let's help Carol out.
Starting point is 00:44:10 Got to help her out. So we got in line. And we got a lot of calls. Yeah, we have a lot of calls, Latte. We have Veramise from Sunland on line two. Veramis. Very nice. That's a very beautiful name.
Starting point is 00:44:24 Very unique. Okay, so I just didn't want to tell her again. It's not Beresemis. Berenice. Berenice. Berenice. Berenice. It's okay.
Starting point is 00:44:34 I just want to like make her feel bad or nothing because a lot of people struggle with my name. All right. All right. Bernice. Spell it? But you do like B as a boy. E as an elephant. Do that one.
Starting point is 00:44:45 It's B as in boy. Okay. So it's like Bere and then like nice. At there. Very nice. Very nice. Very nice. Very nice.
Starting point is 00:44:55 You got made fun of in school. It's okay because I got made fun of in school. King of the castle. Now you guys are, now you have triggered, now you have pushed the button on these fools. You cannot get this. What's that? Borat's here now.
Starting point is 00:45:07 Thank you, Bernice. My sister. I'm very nice. I can't stop it once it starts. Very nice. You just got to let it happy. Bernice Bernice
Starting point is 00:45:22 Okay All right hold on Let me Hold on one second Vernees All right Three more seconds And then get out of it
Starting point is 00:45:27 Okay That car is not black Okay Go go go No hurry Because I don't want you To do it in the middle Whoa whoa whoa
Starting point is 00:45:32 Whoa All right Thank you Thank you You got out your system You good? See? Verones
Starting point is 00:45:40 What would you tell Carol Well I think Carol wants to hear that we're all going to tell her that she should stay with him. But I sincerely think that she shouldn't because she's already not wasted, but she's already given 18 years of her life to something that has never changed. And the fact that the universe gave her like signs, like, you know,
Starting point is 00:46:09 the fact that it was kind of hard to be able to kill her baby together. Right. Oh. That was one sign that that was a. Like, it's time to go, you know, like you can be pro-longed here and staying here. And I just think she shouldn't and not even as friends because it's just going to hurt her. I think she's like needs a break and not even try to find anyone because if she is not comfortable with that, that she thinks that every person that she dates has to be that person.
Starting point is 00:46:40 Yeah. I just think it's been too many years wasted already. Yeah. I feel you. And that's a strong statement, but, like, I can understand it only because, like, you got to read the sign sometimes. For example, and I was really trapped in my first relationship with my first baby's father. And it was bad. And it was a very, it was probably one of the worst experiences I've had in my whole life, right?
Starting point is 00:47:07 He got locked up for four years. And I feel like God said, hey, this is your time? Get to it. And in those four years, before that I was controlled. I was in the house. I couldn't leave. I couldn't work. Couldn't go to school.
Starting point is 00:47:19 Couldn't nothing, right? In those four years, I went from interning and part-timing to then working at Power 106. And it let me be who I became because I took that sign. Because I was like, all right, now's your time. You better do it. Because if I had stayed there, I wouldn't be, I wouldn't have progress like that. And sometimes it's those hard interventions, quote unquote, divine interventions that you got to read and you've got to move forward. And I see where you're going with.
Starting point is 00:47:46 That is a very harsh, like, sign that, like you're mentioning about their child. But I do understand where that can be to her, not even to her benefit, but she could read it like, look, you have to now use this time. And they're, like she mentioned, like baby girl, Carol mentioned, there's no real ties to him. Earthly ties, at least, that she can make those moves, you know? Exactly. And it's kind of hard to give advice in this type of thing because nobody knows people's feeling.
Starting point is 00:48:16 Yeah. But sometimes you really do have to hear the truth or like hear from another perspective unless like they generally don't care about you. But I think this has been too many years for this person and nothing has changed. And I just think that she deserves something better for herself, you know? Yeah. She definitely serves something better for her out there. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:48:37 A, Bernice, you're in Sunland? Yeah. Hey. Hey, did you hear about the body that was found in the in the terms? Yes, you know what's funny? What? Well, don't say it's funny. No, no, this is crazy.
Starting point is 00:48:48 Excuse me. It just happened. They found a body in a, in like a trash. What? And I drove by there yesterday to drop my daughter off. Oh. And then when I heard about it, I was like, oh, no. And then in the night, I was just, like, is there a killer around here?
Starting point is 00:49:05 Oh, my God. No, sir, for real. You know, like, they take out the trash and the trash, like the trash things. They found the body there. No, not the dumpster. The ones you take out. Oh, yes. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:49:18 I used to live by the Denny's. I don't know if it's still there, by the Demies and the Tommies on Day Street. So I'm already like into the Cheesman's only like, oh, my God, who was it? Who did it? All right, well, keep us updated. Yeah, please. All right.
Starting point is 00:49:30 You guys have a good day. I love listening to you guys. Oh, thank you. You're very nice. Very nice. Very nice. Thank you very much. Okay.
Starting point is 00:49:39 All right, you guys. I like the, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. What does Borat say that? I forget what he says this. Okay. Does it come with a magnet? Okay. All right.
Starting point is 00:49:51 Who else can we go to? That was great advice. Yeah, yeah. That was very real advice. Yeah. that, you know, what she's feeling right now, she sounds confused, but she's been through a lot. She's been hurt. Like, I think it's okay to feel that way. But I think what you're going to do is you need to block him on everything. Block his number, block social media. Just until you're ready to take him in as a friend.
Starting point is 00:50:32 Or you might be ready just to not have him in your life at all. But I think it's okay for you to feel this way. But I think you just need to block him because he has access to you. So I think he's need to put him on block on everything. But what if he writes her a letter? You can't really block letters. I like block letters. People still do that? Yeah, well, yeah, because he was, you know, he did some time. So he remembers it by heart.
Starting point is 00:50:55 Don't open it. Don't open it. Or save it. Put it away later. Yes. She needs to hear it. I think you need to focus on yourself and get yourself together because, like you said, you're comparing all these other guys to him.
Starting point is 00:51:06 And I think you just need to take care of yourself mentally, physically and emotionally. I like you. You heard it from a guy and from a guy. girl Carol Carol I want to talk to you real quick because I'm as I'm as I'm hearing everybody's story and their advice to you I'm also thinking about you and you know how like he was addicted I think he might be your addiction I think he might be someone that you're used to that you got to hide from that was you have withdrawals from that you're sensing like I need this in my life and so maybe you have to go through your own rehab of this guy to really find out do I love
Starting point is 00:51:45 him because I love him and I want him in my life or is it because I'm addicted to the feeling? Because you said like it's not because he's done bad stuff but you like kind of focused on the good stuff right? Yeah. What do you think? Never thought of it that way. Right? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:52:03 Isn't that crazy? Put him down. What? No, like put like. Oh, like he's an addiction. Yeah. And again, that's going to take a lot. It's going to take people having your back.
Starting point is 00:52:12 It's going to take people not letting you like. go back to it. It's going to take that hard, like, fight for you to separate yourself, at least until you figure out, like, what J.R. said, when you're ready to be his friend or ready to let it go completely. Yeah, it's a lot to think about. Never thought of it that way. Neither.
Starting point is 00:52:33 But look, Carol, we will hug you. Air hug. Yeah. Air hug. We care. Where are you? You're making me sad, Carol. Can you?
Starting point is 00:52:46 Don't be sad. If you're going to be a dick and a ton of these. be addicted to us, okay? Yes. Every morning addiction. I'm inviting you to our brown bag after dark live show. I need to see you there.
Starting point is 00:52:54 Do not bring me, please. Yeah, please. Yeah, please. Bring a date. I won't bring them. But your cum? I'll come, yeah. Okay, let's go.
Starting point is 00:53:03 Okay, I think we kind of help, but it's like those are real life things. You can't just put a bow on it. No, it's hard. We can't just put a bow on it. It's difficult. It's difficult. It's difficult.
Starting point is 00:53:14 And just being there for her. Yeah. Listening to her. All right. Where's Greg? Where's Greg? Where's Greg? Where's Greg?
Starting point is 00:53:22 Okay. I'm going to give you hints as to where Greg is at. Your first hint is this. You're mine. And we belong together. Aw, that's his best at singing. I like it. I'm not bad at it.
Starting point is 00:53:38 He tried. It's like when you go to your kids' recital. Oh, yeah. And they suck. He's singing along. Yeah. He's singing along. He has no future in it.
Starting point is 00:53:45 He knew the words. True. Okay. So that's your. first hint. Your second hint as to where Greg is at this 8.30 in the morning is I'm open from sunup to sundown. Okay? I'm open from sunup to sundown. And this is your last hint as to where Greg will be to our brown bag mornings after dark. And if this does not give it away, then I don't know what will. Yeah. Okay, check this out. Oh my God, the vibes. All right. And now that I play that, I feel like there's
Starting point is 00:54:25 somewhere else that people can go and that's the don't go to that one yeah don't go don't go dark with it oh okay i was thinking kinsenas no kinses yes we're at a kineze that's yeah like your vals one two three two sleepwalker oh my goodness when you said it's open all day and then what it's open from sun up to sundown and then and then please do not go to the van eyes airport okay oh All right. I'm on TikTok Live. Mm-hmm. What?
Starting point is 00:55:05 I was putting you on my headphones. Mm-hmm. And then it slapped me. Oh. It happened. It was on TikTok Live. You all saw that. Shut out of you.
Starting point is 00:55:14 And Angie. And I'm excited. So it's a little mo in my head. All right. It's time for some stuff. Hey. Hey, what are you doing over there? I'm just standing.
Starting point is 00:55:25 Come here. Come here. Sombral salo with Anchi. Oh, my goodness. I feel bad for I Spice, dude. Why? There's like a video going on about Dr. Coachella weekend.
Starting point is 00:55:36 She was set to perform, right? She did perform. She did perform. Oh, yeah, she did. And she sang some songs that, you know, haven't been on. Mm-hmm. But she was hanging out with her little best friend now.
Starting point is 00:55:50 I should say best friend because I don't know who else was this. That's a big best friend. Yeah. She was hanging out with Travis Kelsey and Taylor Swift together, right? and Homegirl was third winning the whole time. And it was just awkward because you guys see how Travis Kelsey and Taylor Swift, they're like so very PityA way to dovy, lovey-dovey, lovey-diving it. They might not have noticed the Ice Spice was there.
Starting point is 00:56:13 Loki, there's a photo that I saw and it was like Travis and Taylor, they're together with Ice Spice. And it kind of looks even Photoshop that they put Ice Spice there because it doesn't fit. No. They were even dressed different. Like she's dressed like, I'm here to party. And they're dressed like booed. You know what I look like it just doesn't match up.
Starting point is 00:56:31 It kind of feels like she's like the little sister that just has to tag along with the older sister. Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's what people are saying. And they're like, oh, it's like the annoying little sister that has to go. So the big sister has to go out. Yeah, because they're like what, probably 15, 16 years apart or something? I don't know. I do know that they get along very well, though.
Starting point is 00:56:50 Yeah, because Spice and Taylor Swift. Yeah. They've collabed already. They parted together. Ice has says like Taylor gives her a lot of good advice, which Taylor gives me advice. I'm listening. I want to be her friend, actually.
Starting point is 00:57:00 And then it was tight because they're watching someone say. I don't know who said it was. Yeah, she was watching some set and you just see. It was like some EDM or something. It was the Dom Dulles-Cochella set. Oh, okay. Yeah, it was a fun overall was a funny video
Starting point is 00:57:14 because you just see Taylor and Travis like all up on each other. And then in the corner, because also they're tall. Yeah. So in like over, you see her little, like her phone. She's in her own little vibe though. She's just like, I need my own business.
Starting point is 00:57:26 Yeah. Every time they move slow. slightly to the side, then you see like an orange hair. You're just like, oh, that's Ice Spice. Yeah. She's trying to, like, catch a vibe and just, like, mind her own business, but literally they're making out a bright neck yeah. It's wild.
Starting point is 00:57:39 I wonder if it's, like, her and Taylor planned, and then Taylor was like, hey, I'm taking my boyfriend. Oh, yeah, I guess when I only do her red things to our friends, I guess it's time. It happens, though. I mean, because I was feeling her pain because I'm like, when I was in middle school, I would be the third wheel all the time. What do you mean? And I was, well, with my friends.
Starting point is 00:57:57 Like they would meet up with their guy. And then I saw y'all like, be met Tiche. Yeah. Like, oh, we're going to go to the movies. And exactly that. It's like, yeah, but I'm bringing my boyfriend. I'm like, oh.
Starting point is 00:58:07 They're all making out next to you. Yeah. It's so awkward. Middle school movies? Crazy. Hey, but you had the popcorn to yourself. Yeah, but it was just like, don't look, look, look.
Starting point is 00:58:15 Don't get up. Yeah. Don't look. Don't get up. Would you, would you sit in the same row? Or let them go in the back back row. And then you're in the middle. That's a backpack roll.
Starting point is 00:58:26 Oh, that would want to be alone. So I was, I was sitting next to that. Oh, I had you seen some stuff. That's why I was like a double- What movie did you watch? No, that movie or their movie? Ew. You're sold up.
Starting point is 00:58:38 Obviously, the movie dork. Have you guys either third-wheeled or had someone be your third-wheel? Yeah, I third-wheel a lot, like, for a long time with my sister and my... Oh, your brother-in-law. Yeah, because, like, I didn't always have, like, a partner or whatever. Right. But I like... But you like hanging out with them.
Starting point is 00:58:56 Yeah, I love hanging out with them. Spice probably loves hanging out with them too. Yeah, they're fun, dude. And then, like, my brother-in-law has hell of bread, so he's just, like, spinning. Like, I'm just, like, getting free drinks. Like, it's cool. That's sad. Yeah, we're going to bottle service.
Starting point is 00:59:10 I'm like, yeah, we're outside, man. Where else we're going next, Dork? Yeah, don't mind me. He calls them? Yeah. Where are we going? Yeah. Pobo next, let's go, man. It's on you.
Starting point is 00:59:21 You bring the spritter? You didn't want the goal. He's probably just sigging along. Like, yeah. I'm a vibe because I just, I just, I just, sit there in the cut, you know, and I pay a little bit. I pay a little bit. And he's always a good time.
Starting point is 00:59:32 He's not complaining. No, not at all. Yeah, he's not. I thought you meant like you would go out with your sister when you were younger. No, no, no, no. To the day. Yeah, yeah. You all need me to hold you up.
Starting point is 00:59:43 I got you. I got it. Yeah, I got it. Yeah, don't worry. I'll hold your purse sister. Exactly. What about your life, small? I think it's a little bit of both, where it's like one of my homies,
Starting point is 00:59:51 oh, third wheel all the time. But it's cool. It's like, I'm not like super PDA about stuff. I like, sure I'm like, all right, bro, like, I'm not trying to make you feel awkward. That's why I do, too. Like, if you were to hang out with me and Horde, we're not super PDA, then. Well, I have.
Starting point is 01:00:04 I have gone, like, well, with your babies, too. Yeah. And they're not. They're like the cool couple and it's like, oh, okay. It's not awkward at all. Like, I feel like if you're hell of PDA and you got like a homie or like home girl, it's a little like, bro, like, tone it down. Victor's that.
Starting point is 01:00:18 Victor's very big. Oh, yeah. You guys don't want a third wheel with me. No, I feel like we did. Yeah, I'm not forget y'all are there. We did at Disney. Remember we went to some board? Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 01:00:29 What happened there? Yeah. They were making out. Oh, yeah. They were making. I don't remember that. I was there. You were there.
Starting point is 01:00:38 You were there. You were there. Last year? Yeah, last year. I'm locked in. It was with a, what's who? I call it focus. Huh?
Starting point is 01:00:47 With chicken nugget? Yeah. Yeah, I'm locked in. And it was awkward because it's like, where do you look? It's like, oh, there's there. His tongue is down there. Yeah. Bro.
Starting point is 01:00:59 I don't remember that. Yeah, you're the one that pointed it out. They're like, oh, they're making out. Was that the thing at Elcom Padres? I think so. Yeah, I think so. What? That's wrong.
Starting point is 01:01:12 Yeah. It's crazy, bro. Good time. Good time. Let's run it back. Now we're Shigin'Nugget. Little thing's going to come on here and be like, no, Dad. I told you.
Starting point is 01:01:22 You're your next partner. But you're that couple. Very pitiate with it. Okay. Jose, you ever been? Third-wheeled-a-oldy? You little warrior? Yeah, with my sisters. The same with Vic.
Starting point is 01:01:32 What? Like, they're fun to hang out with. They're fun to hang out with? No, my sisters are, no, not your husband. Oh, no. What do you mean? No, I'm saying like it's all. You're a sister lover?
Starting point is 01:01:44 Yeah. Oh, what happened at Disney? Why is I read it in. Oh my God. How do you know his sister? I don't. I don't. Never mind.
Starting point is 01:01:53 All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. Thank you for that. Brown back morning.
Starting point is 01:01:57 Yeah, I love you. It's Power 106. LA's number one for hip-hop art guy Gregory. Where's Greg? Where's Greg? Where's Greg? It's out on these streets. Greg, Greg.
Starting point is 01:02:09 Screeze, Greg. What's you doing right now? I am out on these streets. Hey, put the radio down, fool. I'm not on the radio down. We can hear ourselves back. That's the people. Oh.
Starting point is 01:02:23 Who are you? Hello? Hello? Yeah. Hello. You hear you talk about? I do hear myself back. No, I don't have you on the area.
Starting point is 01:02:30 I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. People right here in the valley. You're outside. Where are you? Where are you? Where are you? Where are you?
Starting point is 01:02:38 Richie Valence Park. Pull up on me. Richie Val- Aw. All right. Did they say the people that are there? Did they say like, we got it. We knew where it was.
Starting point is 01:02:51 We knew where he was going to be. A lot of these people here are from the valley. They're like, we got it right when you're right. Right away. I told you know. As soon as you know, as soon as you start to the rich Valens, we know what part to go to.
Starting point is 01:03:02 Yeah. I'll be here for the next 10, 15 minutes, giving out these tickets. Come through. All right, and you have two pairs. Two pairs of brown bag after-dard ticket. Love it. Love it. Can put us on speaker?
Starting point is 01:03:12 Yeah, tell them how bad I can make it. You want to speak? You want to be on speaker? Yeah. Yeah, fool. All right. Let me know what I was eager. What's up, you guys?
Starting point is 01:03:22 Hey! Hey, first person to tackle Greg gets the tickets. Go, go, go, go, go, go. No tackling me. Hip drop. Hip drop. Go for the legs. Take out of knees.
Starting point is 01:03:35 He has an extra prior ticket in his pockets. All right. Shout out, Greg, man. That's tight. We send him out on the street. And, of course, every Wednesday, Greg's going to be out on the streets. What do you want to say, Jose? Nothing on searching.
Starting point is 01:03:46 Nice. It's because he just woke up. Oh, welcome. Welcome to the job. What's up? This is Be Real from Cypress Hill. Where are you from, Es? Don't you know I'm local?
Starting point is 01:03:58 Okay, the way that we eat our masa. We'll never be the same in California. Okay, there's a new bill that's saying that everything that is in the masa products that we love, okay, our corn masa flour, which is included in tortillas, tamales, corn chips, pupusas. This is definitely like our food group. That's our thing. If anything, it was a food group, it would be this. It's going to have an added ingredient from now on.
Starting point is 01:04:22 The added ingredient is going to be folic acid, okay? 0.7 milligrams of folic acid. I know you're saying acid, but it's good for you. Folic. Especially for your girl. To every pound of mass. Okay. Folic acid has been proven to promote healthy cell growth in unborn children and prevent serious
Starting point is 01:04:39 birth defects such as spina bifida and another one that I can't say right, but I'm going to try. Anencephaly. All right. This sounds like one of my kids is names. Nice. Encephaly. Okay. So the folic acid, especially with women that need it and Latino women in general, they're not getting
Starting point is 01:04:56 this nutrient when they're pregnant. and it's very necessary for the forming of a child, right? So they're thinking of ways, like, how can we get this in more people's foods and all of that? So they just said, you know what? Maybe we should start requiring folic acid to be added to these enriched grain products. It's already included in bread, cereals, rice, and pasta. But apparently they're definitely, they're seeing, yeah, to the Latinas. Isn't that, like, alarming that they, like, if we want to target putting a specific thing in a group of people.
Starting point is 01:05:26 They know who eat, yes. Yes. Yes. But they've done it to the rest, is what I'm saying. They've done it already to pasta, to other. To rice, to cereals and breads. But they're saying, hey, still, there's a certain community that is not getting this type of nutrient. And so let me just read a little bit more because it does seem scary like they're adding stuff, right?
Starting point is 01:05:44 So according to the California Department of Public Health, Latinos are far less likely to take folic acid during pregnancy more than white Asian Pacific Islander and black women. Okay, it's not only included in food products, but is also recommended as a. supplement for us. And since that they have started requiring these enriched grain products and the other foods, they saw a drop of 35% of babies born with defects. Right. So they're saying, like, we're seeing this kind of just working out. So, and if there's a community that's still not kind of on that, let's go towards
Starting point is 01:06:18 the actual grains and stuff like that that they consume. Okay. So this is a good thing. I don't know. Yes. And then for many, it helps with the heart health. fertility and certain mental health conditions like depression okay yeah so it's it's not just like obviously they're trying to target women yeah because they eat the most tamales yeah
Starting point is 01:06:39 yeah and you like her tamal so yes i do don't be complaining yeah what i do because there's sometimes where like let's talk about soy milk or different things and i know guys specifically get turned off by it like oh that's gonna give you more estrogen or that's gonna like i really i've had these conversations because different different milks have different things in inside. And so there's always these little like, oh, what does that mean? Am I going to be more this or more that? Similar to what this would be now. Because if it's directly targeting and helpful for women that are pregnant, I know guys are going to be like, what is that tortilla going to make me more?
Starting point is 01:07:13 Right. Yeah. Is that tortilla going to go breast? Yeah, exactly. No, for real, I bet you that's going to be a complaint. For sure. Yeah. If I eat tamales, I'm going to go grow breast, which more girls would be eating that if that was the case. Yeah. I'll be feeding them. I'll be feeding but I just know the way guys speak it makes sense in your guys head it's interesting to be adding to the masa because I usually drop it but Jose had a very
Starting point is 01:07:41 great recommendation if we're targeting the Latinas right yeah if you really want the Latinas to consume like specific vitamins just put in hot chitos Ah That's so annoying That'll give me heartburn if I'm pregnant
Starting point is 01:07:56 Oh man Then put it on the Chile. All the Chile. Right? That's scary. That's like biological warfare. That would also give me heartburn if I'm pregnant. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 01:08:05 They attack us through hot chitos as biological warfare. Facts. Because they know. It affects all of us. Personally. Okay. Well, yeah, that's what's going on in your masa. That's crazy.
Starting point is 01:08:14 Shout to Massa, by the way. I didn't know that they could get us like that. Me neither. It's scary, right? You just inject something? What else are you going to put? What else are you going to put in? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:08:22 What are you going to put in our chata? Honey pecks. Stop it. Stopping. Good idea. Ew, is that with the sweet tamales? I know. Oh, maybe I'll eat more.
Starting point is 01:08:32 You're gross. All right. Are we done? We're done. Are we finished? Let's go. All right. Inspire 106.
Starting point is 01:08:38 At least number one for hip-hop. Buenos Dios. Good morning. Good morning to you. Angelica, what were you afraid of that we just found out? Oh, no, I feel like I told everyone. Never, ever keep me next to you or make me see a rat. I will cry.
Starting point is 01:08:52 A rat? Like a snitch? No, no. No, no. Not like Ticashi. Not like Takashi. Not like an actual, like an actual, yeah, those nasty little things. That sounds like a dog.
Starting point is 01:09:02 Can you do a rat sound? Ah, I can't even. I don't like it. I don't like it. No, don't do it. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. I'm gonna cry. All right.
Starting point is 01:09:16 One more. Who was doing that? Not me. No, I will cry. Which one are you was it? Which one? It was Maximo. The rat.
Starting point is 01:09:25 like I didn't do it that good. No, you look like a rat to me. Hey, he's not. He don't snitch over here, only. That's a real one right there. Okay. That's just tabliton. Angelica, what happened?
Starting point is 01:09:39 Oh, no, dude. So it all started, I was just thinking, I'm like, how the heck, like, where did I start coming up with me being scared of rats, right? Yeah. And apparently I'm like, oh, I remember. No, my mom. But it happened because you were driving and you saw a rat. I saw a rat that it's been there in the alley for, like, a long time.
Starting point is 01:09:55 I think weeks because it's like really, really flat, but you can still see that it's a rat. Like a cartoon? You noticed that it's a rat? You can still see the tail. Yeah, I've seen it. Right? I've not seen it.
Starting point is 01:10:06 Well, we walk in the alley. Oh, you walk through the alley. We walk in the alley. Yeah, and so I saw it, and I was walking with Yailene, right? And I told her, I'm like, oh, have you seen the rat? And I showed it to her. And so I just started thinking, I'm like, where did this freaking paranoia start? And I blame my mom.
Starting point is 01:10:23 Why? Because I remember. I remember when I was like five or four. We lived in an apartment. Five or four? Yeah. I remember. I remember.
Starting point is 01:10:31 Oh, it was my trauma, guys. Yeah. So I remember she killed the rat with her shoe. She threw it and she got it. And I remember. My mom was a chancla. It was like a cat. And so she made me, she got a rag and she told me, get the rat and go through it to the dumpster.
Starting point is 01:10:50 Angie, I think you're definitely the middle child. And I just remember, letty, like the rat was still warm. Oh. And ever since then, I'm like, I remember getting the rat and like looking at it. I don't know. I'm four or five. I looked at it. It was just like, eh, eh.
Starting point is 01:11:04 And I remember throwing it to the dumpster. And I was little. Why would she make you do that? I was about to say, like, they didn't really love you, Angie. As a four, five-year-old? Like, why are you not normal? It was very normal. It was small.
Starting point is 01:11:18 I get it. You're the middle child. They wouldn't make the older ones or the baby do that. They wouldn't make the four, five-year-old. Yeah. But that since then, Letti, I can't, I can't with rats. Like, I will cry.
Starting point is 01:11:28 I quit a job. Yeah, that's a valid fear. You quit a job. I quit a job. You quit a job? Yeah, because right in the doorsteps of the entrance, I just saw a rat dead right there. Oh.
Starting point is 01:11:39 And you just said I'm going home? No, I froze. I froze and I still went in to work that day. But I couldn't even put my feet down in. Yeah, the next day I just went my piece. You were uncomfortable. I can't do it. Do you guys have any paranoia like that?
Starting point is 01:11:52 Paranoia? Like a fear? My fear is high. You're afraid of heights? Yeah. What's what I was talking from? When I was little, this is why I assumed what it happened. Same thing, like five years old.
Starting point is 01:12:02 I was watching Batman, and then I jumped off the couch to try to land on the other couch, and I faced planet into the table, and then I broke all my front teeth. And I was the original silver tooth kid. No way. It's okay. And now you're afraid of heights. And I think that's why I'm afraid of heights, because you know, like when you... Hey, you didn't think to put your hands.
Starting point is 01:12:22 You weren't even that high. Like, you just let your face take the phone. I thought I was Batman, okay? Yeah, but like, you're just putting, put your hand. Like, naturally we put our hands to stop us from... True. I don't remember what I did exactly. I just know that they rushed me to the hospital and I was bleeding.
Starting point is 01:12:34 Oh, my God, it was bad. And then I had silver teeth for like five years. Yeah, I feel like the real problem is you weren't paying attention because Batman doesn't fly. I know that. He should have been somebody else. He just wears a cape? Yeah, he doesn't fly out.
Starting point is 01:12:46 I don't know, okay? Why he wear that cape? Huh? Why he wear that cape? Just because it's fashionable. Right. Because Superman has one. Yeah, he's like, I don't know.
Starting point is 01:12:54 I face my fears, by the way. I went in the six flies one day and I wrote all the rides one time. No way. The fear would be. He keeps saying that, I don't believe him. The fear would be skydiving. You gotta go skydiving. No, that's a little different.
Starting point is 01:13:05 Skydive. With the rat. No. Scrolling with the homies. The homie? Greg. Hey, Leti. Next time you have an argument with one of your homies,
Starting point is 01:13:18 Metro has you with the greatest comeback of all time. We all know the disc track that Drake made for him, right? Drake has, not Metro. Metro, why I hate this? Yeah, that's true. Listen to this. The next time I go back and forth with somebody and I find out where they work, I'm just tell them shut your whole shit and go do what you do for a living.
Starting point is 01:13:38 What are you going to say? Like, that Metro line was hilarious, bro. Like, imagine you going back and forth with, like, truck driver or something like that. Y'all going back and forth and you just say, shut your whole ass up and go deliver my packages or something. I'm going to use this all the time. Every single time someone tries to diss me. And any time, like, Angie, diss me. Diss me right now.
Starting point is 01:13:56 You're ugly. Go make some t-shirts, Angie. I'm going to go do that. I'm going to make money, okay? Yeah. That's why I would make so much money from that. This comes from the Drake line from the diss song where he says, Get more love in a city that you find.
Starting point is 01:14:12 Metro shut your ass up and make some drums. That was such a good line, but it's really like, I am going to go make some drums. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And it's like, how can he respond? like making more drums. That's what everybody's saying too on TikTok.
Starting point is 01:14:25 That's why everybody's going crazy. Like, what is Metro going to do? Like, that's kind of a big diss. Like, how you're going to make drums? It's not so much as a diss. I like how he said it. Right. It's more so that he's going in on everybody and that that's the, like, shut up, Metro.
Starting point is 01:14:38 Like, go do something. Yeah. But like Metro's going to make drums. Or Metro hops in the studio. It gets paid. Hops on the microphone for once. No. I see that happening.
Starting point is 01:14:47 Stick to the drums. Yeah. And then letting us know if you trust people or not. Yes. We know whether we should or not. This kind of gives me a little bit of trauma because my ex-suegra, so my baby daddy, not the one I married, shout on my husband, but my baby daddy's mom, right? Let's say I'm washing my hands. She would tell me, okay, wash your hands.
Starting point is 01:15:09 Like, as I'm doing something already, she would tell me to do it. So in her brain, she's telling me what to do. It's a very weird thing. Like, she sees me washing your hands. She's like, okay, wash your hands. Like, it's the weirdest thing. She feels like she's telling you what to do. Like in a sarcastic way.
Starting point is 01:15:26 Like in school stuff. Yeah. Yeah. What you'd sit down, they'd be like, that's right. Sit down. Yes. I was already going to sit down. I was doing this.
Starting point is 01:15:35 And I don't understand it except that she felt like she had it being in control. Yeah, she was being sarcastic about it too and stuff like that. But that's what makes me feel like, yeah, I was doing it anyway. What do you mean? Yeah, for sure. For me being mind tricks for sure. I'm going to start doing it. I like it.
Starting point is 01:15:50 Yeah, that was crazy. That's my new way of dissing people. What? Telling you to do what they were going to do anyway. Exactly. Max, go take some pictures, Maximo. Damn. How about that? Cool.
Starting point is 01:15:59 Tell them to go on the street. Go on the street. Yeah. See, I won. I won. See, you can't. You can't come back from that one. Go be thirsty out on girls' photos.
Starting point is 01:16:10 Oh. Sounds like a plan. It's like I would do that right now. Actually. All right. Thank you for that, Gregory. You're welcome. Wrap it up.
Starting point is 01:16:20 No, you wrap it. No, you wrap it. I don't, I don't, I, I, yeah. You're right. Fault, fool. Hurry on the false. Keep it here. It's Power 106.
Starting point is 01:16:30 It's Power 106. Grab back, good morning. Good morning. Let's go ahead. For you to join up. Ega, E, E, E. Sola, Sola, Sol. Angie, when you say solo, that means you go into a little, and then you go.
Starting point is 01:16:42 It's a solo. Yeah, solo. Solo, solo. Solo. Yeah, and you can hype them up. Yeah. I want to do that. I want to do that.
Starting point is 01:16:47 Our live shows will be so fun next Thursday. Yeah. It's going to be fun. I don't know. You're changing your voice, maximum, and then I just don't, like earlier when you're doing the mouse sound,
Starting point is 01:16:57 do the mouse sound? I didn't know where you were coming. Just go back to Borat. Right, 106, Brown Bag Mornings. Yes. Vic, what has been going on in these streets, okay?
Starting point is 01:17:08 Oh, man, the WMBA draft just took place a couple nights ago. Yep. And while they were doing the draft, they asked 10 WMBA players who they were going to choose if they had to choose
Starting point is 01:17:19 between Kendrick and Drake. Oh, no. They had to pick a side. Yes. So they put a bunch of them on the spot. Do they know that Metro said you got to choose a side and stay there? Well, they're going to have to stay where they're at now. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:17:31 But, yeah, listen to this. Big thing on the internet is Kendrick versus Drake. We need your take. Drake. Drake, off the favorite artist. Drake, you got back by Clayton Clark. He got the normal draft. Oh, my gosh.
Starting point is 01:17:46 It's so hard. I feel like I listened to more Kendrick, so I would say Kendrick. One for Kendrick everybody. Okay, okay. You got someone out there, Kendrick. I'm going to go Drake. I might have to take Drake just because I listen to his music more. So overall, it was 10, no, sorry, it was nine for Drake and one for Kendrick.
Starting point is 01:18:06 Wow. Let's go to the heartbroken. Look, check this out. The one person that chose Kendrick is the new player for the L.A. Sparks. You're alive. You're a lie. Okay, no, I swear. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:18:17 So we got to. That's funny. I wonder if this was before. Or the actual, the draft? It was right as like. She should know. It was right before. Yeah, it was right before.
Starting point is 01:18:28 So, yeah, shout out to Cameron Brink. She's the one that chose. I'm a new fan of hers. Yeah. She came in with the right energy. Best side. I wonder if she did that on purpose. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:18:38 Like she seemed pretty genuine when I was watching the video. I listen to Kendrick more. Yeah. She's like, well, I just listen to him more. Right. Which is shout out to her. If she's a baller like that and she listens to Kendrick, That's good motivation music.
Starting point is 01:18:51 I'm going to get a jersey. Choose us to like that for sure. 100%. Have you had those conversations yet that like who are you choosing? Oh, it's surprising me. Yeah, it's surprising me. Drawing lines. Really?
Starting point is 01:19:00 Really? Mm-hmm. Where? Yeah, I'm just like, I'm like, nah, bro. Really? You're going to go with that guy? I feel like yesterday they were, I had like a 30-minute convo and just listening. I was on a music video saying they were just arguing about it.
Starting point is 01:19:12 Choosing sides. Yeah. And it's crazy because a full diss song from Kendrick hasn't even dropped. Right. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Drake's full diss song towards Kenrick.
Starting point is 01:19:19 Kendrick has dropped as of us talking right now. Yeah. You know? And people are like already choosing sides. Honestly, I chose my side since like the control. Right. Yeah. My side's always been Kendrick, never wavered.
Starting point is 01:19:30 I'll still be Kendrick. Yeah, I love Drake's music. But like I don't even need to choose sides. True. And it's like you can have a favorite and you can have someone that you like and like you can't appreciate. But it's like when you know that they're going head to head, who are you going towards? Yeah, it's Kendrick.
Starting point is 01:19:45 I can't root against the home team. Is anybody Drake in here? Is this like the opposite of the-. I'm not. Let's keep it real. Everybody, not everybody at once. If you know. Am I what?
Starting point is 01:19:55 Drake or Kendrick? Kendrick for sure. That's a little bit pure pressure. Irene. Are you Kendrick? She's Drake. She's drunk. Ever since that video came out, she's been on Drake.
Starting point is 01:20:11 No, that's not true. I respect them. I respect them both. And I give, Kendrick is one of my, he's in my top three. Okay, he's But, okay. But, where's the butt coming?
Starting point is 01:20:22 Yeah. But. Just say it. Just say it. I don't know this room is really biased, so it's just like, don't just say it.
Starting point is 01:20:29 That's why I don't say nothing. No, come on, come on. Show's a Drake? There's a lot of people that are like you. Yeah. Behind this room,
Starting point is 01:20:36 it's like it's Yeah, but you're gonna represent a lot of people. It's being, it's being stomped on by one, two, three, four, five people. Take the pack out.
Starting point is 01:20:44 She said, what is this a 20 versus one? That's crazy. That's how I know she's on Drake song. Yeah. Just stand our business. Come on. Why drink?
Starting point is 01:20:53 Wait, what? Why drink? Besides the video. No, it has nothing to do with the video. It has nothing to do with the video at all. If you don't tell us, that's what we're going to say. You're just choosing his eyes. She likes his link.
Starting point is 01:21:04 I get it. I mean, there's nothing wrong with that. I'm sure you said that. You did a lot of capping right now for Kendrick. When I talk three lyrics, but tell us why Drake. If it's Drake If it's not Drake, you don't have to It's just with this
Starting point is 01:21:23 I'm still kind of like I don't know Are you in the middle? Yeah, it's kind of like I'm standing back and leaning it all play out Just like as a hip-hop man So you're not going to choose So you choose Jake Cole
Starting point is 01:21:33 You're saying Don't put that Side of that Don't put that Don't put me in that position either because I'm still kind of Well pick one Yeah
Starting point is 01:21:43 You still pick one I was like very neutral With my little Jake Cole You know, stood on my little stool. Yeah, and you were the only one writing. No one was the only one. No one was helping me, but I was there. No one was helping you at all. No, I can't wait for this Kendrick song to drop.
Starting point is 01:21:58 Yeah, me too. Reportedly allegedly. Kendrick and Drake beef battle, whatever. Choose your side or sit back and watch it. I like how she's like, as a hip-hop head, I'm not choosing one. So we ate hip-hop heads like, you guys. Oh, no, yeah. We see you.
Starting point is 01:22:12 We see you. We see you. Parole 106, Brown Bag, Mornings. Come on. Brown Bag. It's Brown Bag on Paro 106. number one for hip hop.
