Starting point is 00:00:00 Apute, Spy 106, Brownback Mornings, Buenos Dias. Good morning. Good morning. Do you guys see that cloud coverage outside? What happened? I'm sorry, Jose just smacked himself in the face with that. With what? With that long stick?
Starting point is 00:00:13 In the crazy. What happened, Jose? No. He smacked me in the face. He smacked me in the face. That's what he said. I used to it. He tore up.
Starting point is 00:00:24 Speaking of. Sorry. Vick. Yeah. How do you feel that Angie squirted on you? Oh my God. God. Is that what happened? That's what happened.
Starting point is 00:00:32 I did. I can tell when you're trying to bet your best. That sounds crazy, guys. Not to be annoyed. And Angie, I could tell when you're trying your best to fix what happened. Angie squared it around. I did.
Starting point is 00:00:42 A bunch of like makeup or whatever. It's a lot better. I was trying to put on makeup. It's like in a weird part of my elbow that I can't really see, but I know it's there. Bro. Yeah, you can't even see it. The worst thing than staining yourself is someone else staining you. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:00:56 You know what I'm saying? And it's not Angie's mad. Angie's bad. She was doing her makeup and the little nozzle thing just squirted at Vic's Way and the cutest thing happened Angie covered the little
Starting point is 00:01:07 so he wouldn't see and she's like, hold on, stay right there, I will clean it. But it's one of those girls if you're listening and you're getting ready you know what we're talking about
Starting point is 00:01:15 a foundation yeah on a black sweater. If Angie were to wipe that ish would just get spread out. Everywhere, yep. So she went little by little with a makeup wipe
Starting point is 00:01:27 like little little little But I could see Vic like, hurry up. It'll come back in like 20 minutes. It was like 10 minutes and Vicks like you're still there. I didn't even notice, to be honest, like she's, I got to give her some credit for being a decent person. Yeah. She's more than a decent person. No, but I'm saying, no, no, no.
Starting point is 00:01:42 But I'm saying she could have just not acted like nothing happened. Bruh. That's what I would have been. And then I would have just been like going by my day and it would have got everywhere. And I would have just never known. And she would have just been like. Check your pants. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:01:53 Oh, it's all over my pants. You're lying. You're like. You're light. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I think he touched it when it was fresh and he's been moving everywhere.
Starting point is 00:02:03 Wait, lift up your hands? It's on your wrist. Angie's scor is on your pants. It's all over my pro club pants. Shop pro club right now. But low key, it kind of looks like graffiti vibes. Like, you know when people do the paint spatter? You might as well fly him everywhere.
Starting point is 00:02:22 Yes, might as well make it a trend. The one of your Twitter. And you say that your uncle or your grandpa when he was a painter, all this stuff, or your pants. It looks like a girl was leaning on you And her makeup got on your wig I know what makeup never comes off It does come on
Starting point is 00:02:35 How we talk about how makeup never comes off On our shoulder area On the shoulder area? You guys don't know how to wash I have on my shoulder Maybe the girls you're well I have too much makeup, bro You know what it is
Starting point is 00:02:48 Shout out to the girls It's just there's makeup That doesn't transfer It's just like Non-transferable makeup No yeah there is That's crazy For that
Starting point is 00:02:58 And just like imagine what it does to your clothes, us in our clothes. Putting on a shirt or things like that. I'm going to create a stencil where you just spray a girl's face. Yeah, do it. Is that called Setting Spray? Ideas.
Starting point is 00:03:09 That's setting spray, isn't it? No, no, no. He means you can spray her face and then boom, all the makeup is there. It's like a, what is it? Like a clear coat? Yeah. They have it.
Starting point is 00:03:22 It's called Airbrush Foundation. What are they saying? What are you saying? Nothing. By the way, L.A. County Fair is going down at the Pomona Fairgrounds, and we are going to be out there this Saturday baby. All right, we're going to be there from noon to two, I believe. So if you're out there in the early times, come say what's up to us, okay?
Starting point is 00:03:43 Say what I said? Last time they had us by the pig races. That was crazy. Oh, they did. Pigs race? Yeah. Yeah, they have a little pig races. You never seen LAPD run?
Starting point is 00:03:51 I'm kidding. I'm kidding. I love you so much. My best friend's a cop. Yeah. All right, look. Anyway, we have Maximo with Super Pimp on the way. What's going down, bro?
Starting point is 00:04:03 Legli, the shackness. Hey, you're not, right. That was your fault. Damn, go. I didn't tell you. You're not going to move it. Yo. It's big's fault, huh?
Starting point is 00:04:13 Those pants are, I think, are one of one. I don't think I've ever seen them make any of those. You know, it's funny, Angie did the mess up, but then she starts talking ish to Rick. And it's like, Angie, right now you got to be the nicest person right now. She just said it's his fault. It is his fault. That's not my fault he moved. I need a new Pro Club hats.
Starting point is 00:04:28 Hey, those are going to, they're not going to wash out. That material is different. Shopproclub.com. Angie, a lot of stuff is Vig's fault. That is not Vig's fault. That is big fault. That is big fault. You know what?
Starting point is 00:04:41 You should break the thing she, uh, she's glad to do it. Oh, it's okay. Just squirt her back. Squirt her back. All right. Whoa, he said all right. After being messages. Whoa.
Starting point is 00:04:53 Super fame. What's going down, Max? We got shocked this. The big, the big, erypastu. Oh, Shack? Yes. Did you call Shaktis? Yes.
Starting point is 00:05:01 The big Shactis. Yeah, the big Shactus? Yeah, the big Shactus? Yes. Oh my God, that's my favorite nickname. Shaktis on the way. You're going through it. Simp or Pimp.
Starting point is 00:05:13 BIMP. Simps, Sip, Sip, Sip, Sip, Sip, Sip, Sip. See, don't let them ever tell you that Reganando people doesn't work because it worked. Yeah. put them on blast all the time they got it wrong that was beautiful that's perfect i go i'm in practice negative reinforcement and negative reinforcement my ways are working it's the only way all right what's up my mom so shack's ex-wife shawnee o'neill released a book called undefeated
Starting point is 00:05:43 and in the book she talked about her life and she was talking about her relationship with shack and she's saying this is what she said in the book quote quote looking back i don't know if i was ever in love with the man. But I was in love with that idea of being married to that man I had a family with. Wow. She said, I was in love with the idea of building a life together. I truly did enjoy spending time with him. MBA road trips gave me a chance to be with my husband and experience the NBA life for a little.
Starting point is 00:06:12 Oh, wow. She was a basketball wife. He didn't do her the best. Right. And admittedly so. He's mentioned. For sure. He did it wrong.
Starting point is 00:06:21 He did it wrong, but they did have like a bunch of kids. How many? They did have a lot of kids. Four, I believe. I think it's four. Were they high school sweethearts? Does anybody know? I don't think so.
Starting point is 00:06:33 Like, or would she like, oh, I want a baseball. Excuse me, basketball player. Do you know? I don't know. Yeah, I'm not too sure. But they had five kids together. Yeah. Shack has been famous for such a long time, so probably not.
Starting point is 00:06:45 And then he moved around like his whole high school life. I don't feel like that's a day one of his though. He also, no, but he also, um, maybe like day three. He also grew. No, like she didn't maybe like get with him when he was like the biggest person in college. Maybe. And he also was like a military child. That's why.
Starting point is 00:07:03 Yeah. So he grew up overseas, moved around a lot, you know, had like the strict parent. Yeah. He was like New Jersey, San Antonio, all different places. He was with her for nine years. Yeah, they were together for a while. But. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:07:17 He met her after he left Orlando Magic for the Lakers in 96. Yeah. See, he wasn't like Shaq, Shaq, Jack yet. He was a big deal. I mean, he was Shaq, but yeah. But Shaq responded to this, everything that came out because the media picked it up and they're spreading it ever. He wasn't big diesel yet. He was big unleaded.
Starting point is 00:07:38 Brough, I'm funny, dog. I didn't care if you think so. I think so. And so does Kirshall. I'll tell you why later. But Shaq responded, and he said on Instagram, he put, I understand. I wouldn't have been in love with me either. wishing you all the best
Starting point is 00:07:54 all of Shaq Pimp How is that Pimp? That's so like I would have loved myself If he's being like not genuine That's super manipulative
Starting point is 00:08:05 Yes I feel like it's like a guilt Yes He's guilty Or maybe he feels guilty For how he did Or both Which he's done
Starting point is 00:08:15 He said in an interview He said in his books And all types of stuff Like he wasn't He wasn't like the greatest And he wishes that was different Yeah Oh my God.
Starting point is 00:08:23 Yeah, but. You wouldn't have to get the flavor of love girl, which, by the way, hoops is amazing. Oh, yeah, she was. But, yeah, to me it's like. But imagine being Eskimo brothers with freaking the dude with the clock? Oh, Flavis. Dog.
Starting point is 00:08:37 That's kind of cool. No, it's not. Flavor. Flameble. But yeah, overall, I think just, like, him posting that publicly. I get it. He's a public figure. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:50 Yeah. But you could keep that to yourself, and I'm sure they still. communicate. He could have like personally told you that he don't need to tell the world. No, sometimes you're so hurt that you have to just post it on social media. You've done that? No. Yeah, because what it does it is it brings it to the women. Exactly. Oh, Big Diesel. Are you okay? Come here, Big Diesel. Who would have a big shack this? Yeah. So another thing about it, this is Pimp. It is Pimp. It's going to get him girls. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:19 Is he still trying to get his family back or she moved on? She's married, I believe. I think it's biz-band. You know what's messed up, though? Is that, like, it's just messed up that she's like, oh, I'm not sure if I ever loved him. Like, her name is literally still Shawnee O'Neill. Damn. No, Shawney Henderson.
Starting point is 00:09:36 No, she moved on life. Yeah. She did not change her name. Yes, you did. Y'all call her Johnny O'Neill. When did she change her name? Even her book. The book is Shawnee Henderson.
Starting point is 00:09:44 Okay, all right. Yeah. I stand corrected. Y'all hate you know, baby girl. I stand correct. This is not Pippin. Okay. Well, yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:51 It'd be like that. They're not all like the Pippin'Duck. She didn't need the name. But some of them are. She said, I got this on my own. Okay, I respect that. Yeah. I think it's been for this.
Starting point is 00:10:00 And I think it's understanding, because I do get what you're saying, Vic. Why were you with that man if you didn't love him? Right. And I think that's her, in retrospect, being like, I loved everything I thought we were going to be. Yeah, yeah. She said it.
Starting point is 00:10:12 But then reality hit. Yeah. Like, oh, this isn't really what is this supposed to be, you know? He's gone all the time, you know. True. Working on his craft all the time. blame the woman. We don't blame the women.
Starting point is 00:10:23 But Shaq, you're a pimp. He's a pimp. He's going to get a bunch of girls DMing you back and being like, are you okay? I wonder if you ever got the Home Depot girl. I was about to say that. I don't know why that just came to online.
Starting point is 00:10:32 Well, he needs some fixing. He definitely needs to be still on a healing journey in your shack. Y'all are never going to get there. Hey, hey, hey. That's them. That's why he became a DJ. One thing about DJs, they need healing? Exactly.
Starting point is 00:10:49 Let's go. All right. Is this Pimp or? Pimp! Okay, let's go. Pimp! Hey! What's the word?
Starting point is 00:10:57 Word on Rosecrans. Rosecrans. Word on Rose crants. The word is, Jay Cole was spotted enjoying life at the beach by a fan. King. I'm so happy for you, Cole. Yes.
Starting point is 00:11:14 Look, yesterday a video popped up of a fan at the beach who ran into Jay Cole while he was chilling by himself. very peaceful on his laptop, having just a peaceful moment. Serene moment at the beach. Very serene. Love it for him. Yes. Then the whole internet seemingly congratulated him for making the right decision in exiting the beef with Kendrick Lamar and Drake, okay?
Starting point is 00:11:37 I just feel like he's back in the good graces of the world. Yeah, yeah. People are calling him smart again. Like, people are just like, oh my God. Humble. Remember Jake Cole? I love that guy. He's sitting on a beach by himself.
Starting point is 00:11:47 Yeah. Minding his own business. Minding his own business. Meanwhile, like Drake got a lot of stuff going. on in his house, like he's probably stressed out. He just posted it. I bet you he can't sleep anymore. Yeah, he's comfortable on number three. We get it. He's not number three?
Starting point is 00:12:00 No, do you know what's the messed up part? That it seems like they both Kendrick and Drake because when Kendrick's like, Mother F, the big three, it's just big me. And then Drake, when he's like, there ain't no big three. It's just my big one. Yeah, I'm bad thing. Yeah. So they both basically counting him out of the big three. They're just saying it's one.
Starting point is 00:12:17 Wow. You know what I'm saying? That's comfortable. No, there's no big thing. But even your homie, supposedly, Drake, is saying you're not big three either. Because he didn't say it's just me and Cole. Lettie, since this was like boxing, right? Like, imagine this was boxing.
Starting point is 00:12:32 Does Drake get knocked down to number three for losing to number one? And then Jay Cole's number two? And Jay Cole's number two now. No. No, I don't think of anything. No. It would feel more wrestling than boxing because you guys in wrestling, a lot of them. It's not scripted.
Starting point is 00:12:46 No, no, no. I didn't even say that part. All right. I wait for it. Wait for it. They don't lie in wrestling. Isn't it? A lot of them are able to be in the ring at the same time.
Starting point is 00:12:55 Oh, Ro Role. Oh, Triple Drey match. Jesus. Yeah. So I think Drake now has the intercontinental title. He doesn't have the... He's a U.S. champ. No, he's not the U.S. champ.
Starting point is 00:13:05 Canadian, maybe. You know what was cute about that video that I hope we put up on Brown Bag Mornings 106 on Instagram so you can check it out if you haven't already. Jake old chilling. Is that the young lady that went to the beach, she went to clear her head. That's something I did. It's a go-to thing. Go to the beach, clear your head.
Starting point is 00:13:20 There's a beautiful. There you find it in the midst the rocks. Like, oh, me too, me too. Imagine you try to go clear your head and you see Jay Cole? Try to clear his head? My head is not clear no more. No, I don't. And I know Jay Colson, for him to not say no to a photo is surprising to me.
Starting point is 00:13:39 Right. Because there was also, I think, a deli or something. Yeah, he's been spotted at a deli like you said. And then he's been spotted like running his bike around New York. Yeah, and everybody's going to do. Where's J. Where J. Cole at? Like, that's been kind of like a funny thing.
Starting point is 00:13:51 But it's like, no, you see where he's out? He's doing normal people things. Yeah. Sleeping great. I honestly got so happy when I saw him at the beach because same full, same. I haven't done that in a while. I'm happy. I'm happy.
Starting point is 00:14:02 He's okay. He's okay. He's okay. He's sitting at the beach by himself. Yeah, I don't think he's as okay as we think he's. Like, I don't think. I understand like his spirit was he needed help with his spirit with the Kendrick thing, but now his spirit needs help with some other.
Starting point is 00:14:15 Like, it's like, his spirit is just like in turmoil right now. But it's just for different reasons. At least he knows he's not involved. and all that stepped out on that part but then there's the other parts of it because you there is some like every choice has its own reaction you know so do you think like now it's gonna
Starting point is 00:14:30 he's trying to figure out what to make music out what's his next step what like what are his next rap's like yeah for sure because I feel like as much as it's like he's enjoying life and he knows where he is as far as like being successful I think being accepted by your peers in like rap is a big deal yeah it is it's part of his identity
Starting point is 00:14:49 exactly so a lot of people once he stepped down, they just started attacking him and belittling his success. So it's like he needs to figure out how am I going to approach this again and be respected. You know?
Starting point is 00:15:02 It's an ego death. And the two other guys have both dismissed you. Yeah. They've both dismissed you and then used you against the other. I hope it works out. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:15:14 Yeah. Well, he wanted to do work. I don't know for me. Work. Wrestling is faith. His is wrestling. It's all. Because if we didn't know, Drake has been planning this all along.
Starting point is 00:15:24 Okay, he's like the big McMahon of wrestling, right? Yeah, maybe. Because since he was, since 10 years ago, he's just been flirting with the young ins, okay? Oh, yeah. All to trap Kendrick into thinking this. Reportedly allegedly, yeah, reportedly allegedly. Reportedly allegedly. Jake Paul's like, I've never done this before.
Starting point is 00:15:42 Reston fake. All right. He's also a monster, so. All right. Aesab Rocky and Aesab Berg are back at it. Back at what? Back making music. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:15:55 There's different things they can be back up. Making music. Like it's 2014 again. Oh, because they reportedly allegedly. Yeah. Reportedly allegedly. They've not been really homes like that. They haven't and they haven't made music since like 2017. Nice.
Starting point is 00:16:09 It's been a while. If it sounds anything like this, we're in for a treat. Okay. Wow. All right. All of gold chains like I'm shot. Shabawrits. One go two.
Starting point is 00:16:29 All of my high school parties right there. My high school parties, that's all it was. A-Sat Mob makes New York sound. Like, only A-Sat-Mob can make New York sound. And New York really sounds like that. Yes. But it takes, like, our guys from Insat-Mob to do that. Their, like, perspective, their...
Starting point is 00:16:45 Their energy. Their style. You know, everything they bring to New York. It's dark and turn at the same time. Yes, I love it. Yes, I love it. They posted a video of them, two in the car together, listening to music, bobbing their heads. And it's some previously unreleased music.
Starting point is 00:17:01 So I'm going to give you guys a little preview of it right here. Some things don't need previews. Well, you can tell his turn. You can tell his turn. And it's just dope because, like I said, it's like the first time since 2017's ASAP Mob Cozy Taps, Volume 2, where they work together. And people, like you said, were speculating that they weren't even friends anymore. There's a falloff with the whole group. You know, the whole ASAP mob, like seemingly split in two, you know, come to some people went this way, some people went that way, some people just stayed alone.
Starting point is 00:17:39 Yeah. But the two are good seemingly. Yeah. Because there was also the issue with one of the ASAP members and ASAP ROC, which always can cause a divide in like a friend group that big. Exactly. But the two are good and it seems like nature is healing all around. Okay. Nature.
Starting point is 00:17:55 Shout out. Hey, shout out ASAP mom. Yeah. Yeah, no, I'm excited about that. I always thought, like, I wonder if Aesap Rocky felt away because Aesab Berg made a couple, like, he rapped about Rihanna a couple times. Right. You know, if I see Rie, I'm like, like, Rilini. And I was like, oh, then this guy, you know, he wipes her.
Starting point is 00:18:13 Yeah, his friend. That was pre-being together. Yeah, but it must be awkward at, like, Thanksgiving dinner. Like, I know you have that song. With the edit in it now. Yeah. Yeah. All right.
Starting point is 00:18:27 Well, that was your word on Rose Cranes. I'm Rose Craneswick for Brown Bag Mornings. I'm Power 106. What's up? This is Be Real from Cypress Hill. Where are you from, Esse? Don't you know I'm local? Netflix is a joke fest is going down all over Los Angeles.
Starting point is 00:18:41 If you have a chance, go to Netflix is a jokefest.com. I'm assuming. Get tickets. Just Google it. Because this is where you see the Tom Brady Roast. Everyone's talking about. Kat Williams. I know Andrew Schultz has a show today.
Starting point is 00:18:55 Like Felipe Sparse came through yesterday to talk about the Netflix as a joke festival. So many people are a part of it. And it's all in L.A. You know when L.A. has like Dina L.A. Or like doing that is a great thing that only we get. Like don't miss out because we're spoiled. These are incredible comics and comedians and you really need to head out there. Okay.
Starting point is 00:19:18 I say all of that to say yesterday I was invited by Netflix to the, Dodgers comedy night hosted by Will and Kara Smith for their foundation Catching Hope, which is an incredible foundation. It helps low-income youth get their first hands-on seeing sports and stuff
Starting point is 00:19:39 and being able to like, again, meet a Dodger. That's cool. You know what I'm saying? Like get that in. And they had so many people there. It was incredible. And I was able to be on the red carpet. The red carpet is short, bro. I got to interview everybody. It was blue carpet.
Starting point is 00:19:53 Nice. It was short. Usually on red carpets, they're long, they're drawn out. You're lucky if you get one person that's like from like the stage hand in something, right? In movies, I was able to talk to Dodgers. Nice. And not the street to Dodger, right? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:11 What? Not our homie Dodger. Not our homie Dodger. Who's that? No, there's just always a guy named Dodger. Okay. Okay. And after that, after all that happened, I have to come on here and recap.
Starting point is 00:20:23 and I first want to say this is how I'm feeling today. What? Hey, yo. Are you okay? Why? Why? What happened?
Starting point is 00:20:35 Let me let it play. Why is? It's usually me. I don't want to just let it play. This is my feelings. Someone get traded. I don't know. Let me tell you why.
Starting point is 00:20:48 Let me tell you why. Why? Yeah, please tell us why. Yeah. What happened? I interviewed Max Muncie, Will Smith. I interviewed Lux. I interviewed Foles.
Starting point is 00:21:02 I don't even know. I interviewed the relievers. That's so cool. I entered. Is it Versi or Versailles or something? Versace. I'm shaking. I interviewed Kershaw.
Starting point is 00:21:13 Curshaw. Wow. That's cool. I made Clayton Kershaw laugh dog. Wow. I talked hip-hop with Clayton Kershaw. That's sick. I sent you guys the video in the group chat.
Starting point is 00:21:26 Mm-hmm. I did a cute little reel on Instagram. Like, hey, you know how you put music over real? Yeah, yeah, yeah. There was no audio. Oh! What? What?
Starting point is 00:21:41 No. Ain't no way. No way. No way. That little, but you have a mic in your hands. You're then like, I just want to die. What happened?
Starting point is 00:21:52 What happened? What happened? I want to die No way I need to play this video I'm watching the video You want me to read his lips Yeah
Starting point is 00:22:05 He created his voice I'll hear like Kurtzal I don't know when I will ever have another chance To interview like that dog And like this is not funny You're laughing This is not funny Hey Nuddy man
Starting point is 00:22:20 It was great meeting today The dogs are awesome I love pitching I love pitching Kershaw was cool. And Kershaw's serious. I have no idea. Will Smith is a serious person.
Starting point is 00:22:31 I got him to talk. I was talking to Mike's monty about Dintyfung. Like I was... Maybe you can, like, recreate his memory? You're right. No. Maybe we can AI their voices? Yes.
Starting point is 00:22:42 Yeah. Okay. I had the little mic. Yeah. Try to hear it. Try to hear it. Let me put the volume. We post it.
Starting point is 00:22:48 Someone can try to help me. I'll recreate his voice. Don't worry. We can hire the lip reader. Dog. Yeah, I just read his lips right now. Dog. This is the volume.
Starting point is 00:22:55 I want to die. And this is not to be insensitive to people that are really having these thoughts. Those are my exact thoughts. Kershaw, Clayton Kershaw. I got to talk to him about Drake and Kendrick. And you know, he's like, you know, I'm so old. Kika tried to explain it to me. I'm just like, I don't get it.
Starting point is 00:23:13 And I was like, dude, it's like the rivalry between the Dodgers and the Giants. It's like that big. It's like you see the Astros. It's like you see the potteries. He's like, he shouldn't have explained it to me like that. Like, he was, we were vibed. I talked to him about the seeds, the throwing of the seeds. Oh, the throwing of the seeds?
Starting point is 00:23:28 Yes. Wow. Can you hear it? Once in a lifetime opportunity. No. I mean, from his face expressions, he looks really happy. There's one of the Dodgers that comes out. Excuse me, his name is leaving me, but he came out to like that.
Starting point is 00:23:41 I was like, you're the first one that came out to like that, so you kind of started all this sitting. So we're talking hip-hop. Yeah. I'm having max once he choose between. I can drink. Don't worry. I feel the energy through the video. Yeah, right?
Starting point is 00:23:52 It's excitement. There's so excitement. There's the frequency. The frequency is vibrating. I mean, at least you have proof that you're there. True. It's your nails. You can't hear it, but.
Starting point is 00:24:05 We'll take your word for it. I will never buy an online little microphone ever again. It's supposed to be the one that has the phone adapter, the one that I'm shaking. It's supposed to be the one that has a phone adapter and then you just, whatever, it makes it sound better. Did you have a, did you do a test run? Did I do a test run? You know I was late. You know it didn't have time
Starting point is 00:24:27 to talk the microphone asking all the wrong questions And if you've ever created content You know the feeling of doing something And then either something is lost You know or like I don't think I ever told you But the first time
Starting point is 00:24:41 This happened to me before Oh The first time I went to Steve Aoki's house And I had to shoot this whole vlog There was no audio Nice And I know the feeling I don't want to be
Starting point is 00:24:51 That's exactly how I feel you It's happened to me before What happened to me? I once interviewed a Slum Village. Oh, my God. An incredible interview, like, years ago. And it was just like, oh, my God, I can't believe I'm talking to these people. And I recorded the phone call.
Starting point is 00:25:06 So I thought. Do you feel me? I know exactly. Bro, I left. They gave me a ticket to watch the show. I'm like, I'm distraught right now. And then I didn't know how to tell Netflix people. Hey, Netflix people, now you know.
Starting point is 00:25:21 Grace, thank you so much. But it was an incredible show. It was so awesome. Shout out to Will and Karrasmith, but there's me. Wow. Oh, Maximo, remember when we shot my thing for my pants? And then you hired your goons to Robbie? No.
Starting point is 00:25:35 Yeah. And then he got his whole equipment still. But then we had to shoot the video all over again. Yeah. I know the feeling. Okay. So, Greg, you ever know the feeling? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:45 Yeah, I actually interviewed 310 baby before he actually got bigger. Oh, my God. And then, yeah, all the footage is done. I don't know where's at. Done. I don't want to be alive. Done. I asked for that interview.
Starting point is 00:25:54 like three times. So yeah, I guess we can put up the video of no sound. Yes, yes. Do it. Because you guys can literally look at how cool Kirschol looked. Yeah, he looks really happy. Yeah. You interviewed the ghost.
Starting point is 00:26:07 I saw. And remember, I texted you guys right after. Like, oh my God, you guys. I interviewed Kirschoff. Let's talk about it tomorrow. I had sent it to Monica. Shout out Monica. She's a prior 106 social girl.
Starting point is 00:26:18 I'm like, hey, can you post this? Like, post a clip or whatever. This is big. And she's like, oh, yeah, Latina. I can't hear anything. Oh, she's the one that told you. And then I... I don't want to be...
Starting point is 00:26:30 I love you back. I love you guys. Say that again in the mic. You just said it. Hey. What did you say? What's up, Los Angeles? We sound like we're friends.
Starting point is 00:26:45 We're friends. I thought we were. Yeah, we are. No, I'm just tripped out by everybody tripping out on us. Yeah. That's real. Yeah. Shout to our guy, Oscar.
Starting point is 00:26:54 He's engineer extraordinary here at Power 106, but he's being at Power Legend. Legend. Probably since the inception of Power. Probably since even before it was Power. By the way, if you're trying to keep a job at least in the radio field, be an engineer. Right. Because people do not know how.
Starting point is 00:27:10 One, people don't know how you do your job. That's true. We're nothing without you. Very job security, like a. Yeah. I can't walk into a room and fix a wire. No, they can't. I've called him at 5.30 a.m.
Starting point is 00:27:21 And he's answered. He answered. My guy, Oscar. But he was saying, like, you guys sound really good. And, like, you said, like, that we're friends. Yeah, because we're friends. I know we are, but that's the funny part. Everybody's like, wow, you guys sound like you actually like each other.
Starting point is 00:27:33 It's like, we do. Yeah. That's why we fight. That means everybody else sounds like they don't like each other. No, no, no, it's because, you know, you can see the, you can see, feel that we've all worked somewhere. Right. Whereas, you don't know, people don't get along, but they got to work together. Yeah. It's not as organic, but we are.
Starting point is 00:27:49 You can hear it. Very HR heavy. Organic. Like, I can read. I can look at you and make fun. of you and I know you're not going to go to Nina at least I think you're not Nina has four reports from you guys
Starting point is 00:27:59 because you guys make fun of me What was the first nickname? No one makes fun of you you cheese head clipper fan Gumba Gumba oh that was like the first one And then I think him ya blito All right yeah and I'm a drug addict because You know
Starting point is 00:28:14 No He's painting you to be a drug addict You're not helping it I did not do that Yeah anytime we pass by and by By drugs kids we mean Oh, yeah. Tylenol.
Starting point is 00:28:24 Not even a whole. Thailand? Migrants. No, you mean education. Yeah, that's the only type of thing I do. There. Coffee. Do it right under God. Drug.
Starting point is 00:28:33 Coffee. Do it right under God. Homework. Do your homework. A lot of homework. All right. Shoutouts, fool. Lululah.
Starting point is 00:28:41 Lulah wants to give a shout out to Lacerna High School softball team. Okay, Lacerna. And a good luck to their round three, CIF softball. Okay, CIF. Nice. And then she also wanted to comment that she got. My future comment. The Greg's future out of future the other day.
Starting point is 00:28:57 Oh, I said, I get you, Greg, you're not alone. And I said, yeah. And Whittier, okay. You have to hide you. It's cool.
Starting point is 00:29:04 From Whittier? Yeah, from Whittier. Okay. Tell your cousin we're. And tell Greg, he's so great. Yeah. Family loves him. He said future twice, by the way.
Starting point is 00:29:13 Yeah. It's two different. No, no. No, no. Well. Goel. Want to give a shout out to her two boys, Giovanni and Victor.
Starting point is 00:29:18 They listened on their way to school. Okay. Hey, Giovanni Dick, Der. And then a birthday shout-outs. Jay wants to shout out Miss Anna at Cerritos Elementary in Glendale. So she's the best teacher and he has ever has a pleasure working with her. Best pleasure.
Starting point is 00:29:33 The best pleasure. Okay, they beat us. We're just friends. They beat us. Best pleasure working with them. And then Liz wants to a birthday shoutout from the team. The team is us. And we're the team.
Starting point is 00:29:48 We're the team. Yeah. Team. Go team. So Ash. Ash hit me and she said, Hello, Brown Bag, this is Ashley, can I get a shootout from my man, Jamal?
Starting point is 00:29:59 It's his birthday. He actually put me on to Brown Bag. Now we listen every day from Sacramento. Oh, wow. She also said, big shout up me, Leti. That I'm a chingona. And that she's rooting for me. Oh, shut out of Sacramento.
Starting point is 00:30:15 Shout to Jamal. Jamal Murray, we got him. Oh, okay, true, true, true, true. So shout out to, what, birthday, birthday, too. have two more birthdays. Oh. Yeah. Oh, but that one wanted a birthday from the whole team.
Starting point is 00:30:26 Yeah. Just from the whole team. All right. And then. Happy birthday to that person. Special happy birthday. Who is? Who is?
Starting point is 00:30:31 Who is? We have more birthdays. Yeah, I know, but this one wanted from the whole team. Oh, Liz. Liz. Liz. Liz. Liz.
Starting point is 00:30:37 Liz. Hi, Liz. Hi, Liz. A nice. A special happy birthday to Brenda from her mom and her big sister, Brianna. Okay, Brenda. Okay.
Starting point is 00:30:48 Brenda. Okay. Brenda. Brenda. And then happy birthday to Allie, who is a teacher from Santa Ana. she wants to give a birthday shout out to her four-year-old Let's go. Brenda and Ollie's four-year-old?
Starting point is 00:30:58 Yeah. Or Ollie's birthday? Ali or like Ali. Ollie. It's Ali's birthday. Brenda and Ollie's birthday. Brenda's birthday. Brenda's four-year-old.
Starting point is 00:31:06 Happy birthday to you. Palluiluptanios. At thee. Now, Jamal. It is your birthday. Back to you, homie. And you put your girl Ashley onto us. Oh, Jamal.
Starting point is 00:31:16 Wait. What? We're going to shoot a mom? Yeah. She wants to shoot out. Yeah, she asked. Yeah, this is what they want. That's what the people want.
Starting point is 00:31:23 We're going to give them what they want. It's provocative. Greg, let me see your gun. Get the people going. Ready? Yeah. Three, two, one. Spiro, no six.
Starting point is 00:31:54 All right, check this out, homie. You need a homie or need some help. We need your help. We need a line. I mean, phone line. We got you for the homie help line. Jesse needs our help. Jesse.
Starting point is 00:32:07 What's up, Jesse? Jesse sent us a DM and said, What's good, Brownback? Me and my mom listened to y'all every day before she drops me off at school. Oh, best mom ever. Yeah, she said, I would like an anonymous name in case she hears. First, first, first, first, I want to give you to. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:32:27 Juan, here to say. I'm Ron Burgundy? Okay, all right. First, I want to give you details on my family so you can understand a little more. Oh, okay. I'm the older brother in the family and have two younger siblings. So am I. My parents work a lot and I tend to carry a lot of the responsibilities at home once we're out of school.
Starting point is 00:32:45 Aside from my home responsibilities, I've always taken my education seriously in hopes of getting into a good college. While applying for colleges, my mom has always been pushing me to stay local and possibly community college. I feel she's scared of me going away. I applied for a bunch of schools and a few out of states just to have options. I got accepted to C-Sons, UCR, and Oregon State. Oh, educated, huh? When I told her I wanted to go to Oregon State, she seemed bothered, but pretended to be happy. I feel guilty wanting to go, but feel that would be the best experience for me.
Starting point is 00:33:20 how do I approach the situation because I want to go but no deep down my mom is hurt will be hurt by my decision he wants to go to Oregon State yeah he does yeah damn he scared his mom what's even over there a lot of beavers a lot of beavers
Starting point is 00:33:39 a lot of trees as a mom I wasn't allowed to leave you guys as a mom I didn't choose to I was not allowed to choose which place I got living without you. What? So you can't live without me. No.
Starting point is 00:33:56 No way you're going to do that. There comes a time where you got to pay his bag. That's crazy. Mother's Day doesn't cut it. You better not do this. I was quite open to get birthday. I was not to say this is you projecting for whatever, like, the boys want to, like, go anywhere. What were the options?
Starting point is 00:34:09 The college option again? UCR. Stay home or stay home? Stay home or get to la Casa. Yeah. I colloquium la Casa. I'm a colegio. But I get it.
Starting point is 00:34:23 I get it. Damn. But I get it. You're the oldest child. You may feel some responsibility. I think we talked to an older child the other day, too. That they feel, like you just feel so responsible. Yes.
Starting point is 00:34:36 Or the caller. The caller, yeah. I forgot his name. Yeah. No. So it's president. It makes sense. And like, as I'm thinking about it, putting myself in Jesse's shoes, I'm like, man, he needs to like.
Starting point is 00:34:47 Just go. Go. Yeah. But. I just use my father brain and I'm like, no, no, no, no. You need to go to UCR, son. I don't know what's going to happen.
Starting point is 00:34:56 I'm like, for me, like, for example, Lilvik is, he's 10, right? He's going to be 11 this year. Realistically, this is, I'm going to face something like this in seven years. Seven years is a short amount of time. I can't imagine him living hours away from me in a whole different city. Or stay. Breaking my heart already thinking about it.
Starting point is 00:35:13 Yeah, no, I mean, I feel the same way. I feel like it's like you want him to get that experience. Yeah, live life. Life. College life. Enjoy it. I couldn't go out because I had kids, okay? I didn't get to choose if I could go to freaking La Boom or Florentine Garden.
Starting point is 00:35:33 So you can't go to Oregon State. No, but he also got to learn to be in the picture. Stay here, Jesse. Yeah. Yeah, you can go to Nicolas. Yes. It's like, yeah. We'll learn a lot there.
Starting point is 00:35:46 We have a lot of great schools I hear. Yeah. Yeah, but still. No, my parents always try to get me to get out of the house to college. They're like, get out of here, bro. They're like, out of the house. I don't think they care of it. Anyway.
Starting point is 00:35:59 Go to college. Do something. I'm like, but I like you here. I had like a similar experience to Jesse when I was in high school. I got accepted to Princeton. He's lying. But everybody was going to miss me a lot, and I knew they would. Even though they didn't tell me.
Starting point is 00:36:16 He'd be lying. Yeah. Where's Princeton? So I just, it's up there. So I just went to Columbia City College. Okay. The better option. I got a lot of you to college.
Starting point is 00:36:28 I took a tour at MIT. I took a tour over there. I was wondering. I was looking at the dorms to see if I wanted to stay there. You know, but then I realized my mom loves me and my dad loves me. So I stayed. And when where? Pierce College.
Starting point is 00:36:43 Great college. And Willing Hills. Great college. Shout out all the community college. Yeah. Yeah, for sure. Save a lot of money. I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for financial aid and, like, L.A. Mission, L.A. Valley.
Starting point is 00:36:55 I took the L.A. Valley, the radio course there. Wow. I got it because Kool-Aid had went there. She's an alum from there. Oh, she is. Legend. Legend. No, shout out all the community colleges.
Starting point is 00:37:07 No, too, all that stuff. All right. But, see, you don't got that. What is in Oregon? Who came out of Oregon besides Jose? Just Jose, I want to say. But he didn't go to college. You can't even read that good
Starting point is 00:37:20 Oh It's funny like Is it like Jose? The dude who created the Simpsons is from Oregon Oh wow Good for him He had to create his way out Yeah, how long did that last anyway?
Starting point is 00:37:34 Very long time Oh, very long, okay There should go It's college I think he should go But it's like How is he going to pay for it? Is he getting scholarships
Starting point is 00:37:43 Like financial aid? Yeah I'm sure That's reality though Yeah, there's There's solutions to that. He could be in crippling debt later. Yeah,
Starting point is 00:37:51 deal with it. Everyone does that. Yeah, Joe Biden's forgiving all this school debt anyway. Yeah. I think the hardest part is like the response. Joe Biden? You said Buddick. You said Buddick.
Starting point is 00:38:02 I said Biden. Yes, I was been listening to hip-hop rap people in Joe Budding podcast. But I said Joe Biden. Joe Biden is forgiving. We're going to get that clip. We are. You said Joe Biden. I said Joe Biden.
Starting point is 00:38:14 I just have a little, I just have a little bit slang. The I think you should go I think he should stay Oh that was funny I don't know She should go Yeah
Starting point is 00:38:27 It's not about what you think Greg Your parents want you want You didn't leave So Do you think the parents are worried That he's going to leave Like them
Starting point is 00:38:35 Or leave the responsibility I taking care of the brothers And just Check this out He feels This is what he feels It sounds like he feels guilt Because he's saying
Starting point is 00:38:44 His mom Although she's a Because she's like she was fake being happy for me. It seems like his mom is at least trying to let him go. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. But he feels like a guilt.
Starting point is 00:38:56 Like he has that responsibility of being there. Yeah. So he's probably thinking who's going to do this when I'm gone? When I'm gone. Who's going to do that when I'm gone? I mean, your mom's an adult, bro. She could do it herself. No.
Starting point is 00:39:05 His mom is just a girl. All our moms are just a girl. Greg's mom, are you listening? My mom doesn't mean. Don't make them. Don't make them food no more. You're allowing your family for certain things. You know,
Starting point is 00:39:16 Like the way a family is like set up like, oh, so-and-so takes so-and-so to school. Yeah. You know, it's just different. Like, you know, no, no, maybe she feeds the kids, maybe she cooks. Or he, sorry. And mom listens. Yeah. Mom listens.
Starting point is 00:39:27 They listen together. Yeah. Exactly. Just hit him with all that. I don't know how many years I have left. Oh, my God. And then they sign up for life insurance. This could be our last Christmas, don't think.
Starting point is 00:39:39 Yeah. Do not do that. That's such a lot. Latino is like, that's a button that they always put. Yeah. Latino moms, boom. The day I'm not here I'm my die card
Starting point is 00:39:48 Yeah Go go My die card is It's undefeated Hit him hit him It's overused Yeah It's overused
Starting point is 00:39:55 Yeah You're doing gangs anyway Yeah don't care You don't listen He still go out there Rock What's up Jesse To stay
Starting point is 00:40:08 Powerwood of six No What should he do That's number one For hip hop All right We got a challenge On the play
Starting point is 00:40:13 We got a challenge On the play All right Homie Helpline Just happened. Challenge the play. We're challenging the play.
Starting point is 00:40:19 Yeah. I like my joke because I know how I said a mud. I don't like being lied to or about. Yeah. So we're talking, what were we talking about? About schools. Oh, yeah. Cripling debt.
Starting point is 00:40:31 Cripling debt. And I was like, yeah, Joe Biden is out here. People, y'all talk over me. You said Budden. I heard Biden. I heard Biden. I heard Biden. I heard Biden.
Starting point is 00:40:39 I heard Biden. But Budin is way funnier. Yeah, it is. And for the record, Joe Budden always gets clown with Joe Biden. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:40:47 And I feel like people are hitting up Joe Biden. I love that podcast. I love that breakdown. That's that you did. About London and our... More more years. Okay. We're challenging the play.
Starting point is 00:40:58 I'm challenging the play. Did I say Joe Biden or did I say Joe Biden? I'm going to tell you right now, that coffee that you have looks very, very appealing. If I said Joe Biden... I'm down. I'll give you the rest of my coffee. It's my coffee. Yeah, it's your coffee.
Starting point is 00:41:10 If I said Joe Budden? You have to put me any one. Okay. Okay. Tomorrow. I thought it was gonna be something about pumping it is. No. Whoa.
Starting point is 00:41:19 Bro. Like crumpy? Like a tire or something? Like pumping up a tire. Isn't that what the song's about? Yeah. What is that song about? Pump.
Starting point is 00:41:27 Pump. I thought like it was made specifically for Marquez Houston to dance too, no? Marquez? Can you say Marquez or Marcus? He said Marquez. Okay. Marquez, yeah. Marcus.
Starting point is 00:41:40 Marcus. Marcus. All right. Marquez Houston. What? Maximo, please. It's Marcus. Marquez.
Starting point is 00:41:48 Marquez. Isn't this spelled with a cue? I was about to guess. It's spelled with a cue. But you say it's the same Marcus. My quest. No, Marquist. All right.
Starting point is 00:41:57 Let's challenge review. Are you all ready? Ready? I'm scared. I know what I said, though. Okay. Yeah, Joe Biden's forgiving all this. That's Biden.
Starting point is 00:42:09 That's Biden. That is Biden. All right. That is buddy. That is Biden. Everybody. Y'all never be quiet. That's the problem.
Starting point is 00:42:16 Someone's talking over me in the clip. Yeah. Okay, all right, let's hear. Let's hear. Yeah. Yeah, Joe Biden's forgiving all this school day anyway. Yeah. Don't play just to be his friend.
Starting point is 00:42:28 No, that's Biden. That's Biden. It's Biden, but it was the eye was stepped on. Like, you? That's Joe Biden, dog. Well, you? No, by you, fool. According to the challenges, if it isn't clear.
Starting point is 00:42:41 Yeah. The play stands. Yeah, the play stands. What does that mean? Yeah, it's Biden. That's Biden. That is Biden. That is Biden.
Starting point is 00:42:48 You don't want. You can hear Biden. I just, I'm, I have an accent. The flag is not overturned. We'll continue the show. I want to hear it one more time. One more time. Yeah, Joe Biden.
Starting point is 00:43:01 For giving all this. Okay, now he dubbed that one. No, that's it right there. Sorry, Greg. That was an edit. Thank you. You have lost the time. You have lost a time.
Starting point is 00:43:08 You have lost. You have lost. That was a copy. That is a copy. That is a copy. That is a copy. That is a copy. That one did you like me.
Starting point is 00:43:16 Greg's team has lost the timeout. That is an edit right there. I know that was an edit. Play goes to Lettie. I want the original. You want it wrong? Give me that coffee right now. I want it wrong.
Starting point is 00:43:28 That's the coffee. You got to call it in that one. I'll give you my coffee, but I'm challenging that one again. Hats to the coffee. That coffee? I know what I heard. Played the original. Yeah, Joe Biden.
Starting point is 00:43:43 For giving all this. Oh, yeah. That's what you have. Biting. For giving all this. No biting. For giving all this. So frothy.
Starting point is 00:43:51 Oh. All right, check this out, homie. You need a homie or need some help. We need your help. We need a line. I mean, phone line. We got you for. The homie help line.
Starting point is 00:44:04 Jesse needs our help. Jesse is getting ready to go to college. Has a couple options. Two of them are here in the state, C-Sysun and UCR. and the other is Oregon State, and he feels like his family doesn't want him to leave because he has a lot of responsibility at home. And so he's trying to find out what he should do in the situation.
Starting point is 00:44:25 He needs our help. So he needs convincing to stay. No, no, no. He wants all the good reasons to leave, to tell his mom for argument. No. He wants to spread his wings and fly. Like a pedican. No, he said, I want to go, but no, deep down, my mom is hurt by my decision.
Starting point is 00:44:42 You know how many things moms wanted to go to that they couldn't because they had kids. Sounds like a personal problem. Yeah, and exactly. Sounds like another personal problem. Figure it out. Go to your room. I was born on the day of my mom's would be graduation.
Starting point is 00:44:53 Yep. See? Wow. Who's fault is that? There she would. Not mine. Wow. Missing your graduation?
Starting point is 00:45:01 That's crazy. And it's not her fault that you have to stay now. Yeah. Because instead of going where? Where you were going? Oh, I was going to go to Princeton University. Right. Anyone else?
Starting point is 00:45:12 MIT over there Yeah I was about to go at MIT Yeah Yeah But would a seat Bro You prints in too
Starting point is 00:45:19 Or you want to Oh no I ended up going to Fidham Night Fitim is great I did Angie's I left

Starting point is 00:45:47 like in sweatpants with the awful that's fashion yeah but hey now now now look you're ahead of your time easy does that now you're right and what's fashion
Starting point is 00:45:59 she said that one time her sister went to pick her up because again it's fit them it's the fashion institute of design and merchandise whatever and then they had a graphic artist course that Angie wanted to do and I did and she's just walking out with her great sweat and her like big sweater and her hair, her chonga. And she's just like, dude, why he looks ugly?
Starting point is 00:46:17 She's like, why do you dress like that? At least try to get ready. I'm like, I'm so tired. That's crazy. But fit him. That's great. That's amazing. And then came AI.
Starting point is 00:46:26 And then came. Oh. And then came Canva. That's messed up. That is messed up. All right. They messed up. All right.
Starting point is 00:46:33 Sorry, Angie. Okay. Sorry you didn't get to MIT. Thank you. Jackie from Los Angeles. Jackie. Good morning, Jackie. Jackie.
Starting point is 00:46:42 Jackie? Hello. What's up Jackie? Jackie. Jackie. Jackie. Like Jackie. Jackie.
Starting point is 00:46:50 Jackie. Hello. Hi, Jackie. Hey. Hi. Good morning. Good morning. Jackie, tell us why he should stay at his house with him.
Starting point is 00:46:57 No. No. Okay. What? I definitely think he should go to Oregon. You know, as being the older sibling, I understand, like, taking that responsibility on your younger siblings, you know, my parents were always like, you go get him. You know, I was always the one taking care of my brother. It almost felt like he was my own son, you know? Yeah. So, you know,
Starting point is 00:47:24 he's a studious kid. He wants to go to college. He's not, he's not leaving home for like the wrong reasons, you know. He wants to continue studying and stuff. So I say he should definitely go, talk to his mom about it because it's, it's an opportunity that would, you know, better his future. Yeah. He's already helped, he's already helped mom at home, you know. Yeah. I feel you.
Starting point is 00:47:49 Jackie, I feel you. But we need like a good argument for him. I feel like he needs us to like give him good argument points for his mom. What did you tell your mom? Right. What would you say? When you left her after all, she's done for you. You know, give us a good point. You know, at the end of the day, at one point, the kids are going to leave the house.
Starting point is 00:48:11 You know. wife. I'm not 32 and I'm still at my house. Angie never left. Or Greg. Jackie, we need a strong argument, Jackie. Jackie, you were the oldest and you would take care of your, your siblings? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:48:26 Right. And like you kind of felt like their second mother, right? Yes. Did you and have you, do you have kids of your own? No. See? Say thank you. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:48:38 See, because of that, because of that, you didn't become a team mom. But she's an independent woman. Shout out to your mom. Thank you. As a teen mom, I'm telling you. No. Maybe if she didn't take care of her kids, she'd be out there doing Quackertica.
Starting point is 00:48:54 What? She did quackercera, and that's why she ended up with kids. No, she has no kids. You're talking about the mom. Yeah, no, I'm talking about this. Oh, okay, okay. I need the callers to, like, give some good arguing points. Because I'm like, we need bullet points.
Starting point is 00:49:10 We need bullet points. Yes. Like, look, Mom, this is what? If I don't leave, I'm going to join a gang and you can't stop me. Because I'm going to let you know right now,
Starting point is 00:49:17 moms were the best at arguing. Yes. We're the best. You got to come equipped. Yeah. The mom's going to hit you with this. No, I can ask whatever I want, and I can do whatever I want.
Starting point is 00:49:26 And I'm Mexico. And wait, what are you going to say? What are you going to say? You can argue. Tell your mom somebody after that. Mom, I'm half selfish. All right.
Starting point is 00:49:39 We got. Ebony on the line. Ebony from HP. What's up, Ebony? Hey, Brown there. What's up, Marlene? Ebony, talk to us. What would you tell this ungrateful child about 20? He has a name. His name is Jesse. So, so basically my daughter might have the same choices. Out of state, C-Sons, or UCR, right? So I was like, well, I got to call in, right? So I didn't want to go out of state because that's the mom in me, right? You couldn't go to Seesong because I went to Cisone and it's a party school and you ain't going to see something
Starting point is 00:50:14 Because you go see something Hold on, wait You go see something over there What was going down at Cisome when you were there? What happens? Hey! Hey! I live by there
Starting point is 00:50:25 Yeah, so what's she? So anyway, my advice for him is to go to UCR right? Because loki, I never went to visit my daughter when she went to UCR. It was too far. Yay. It's close but far
Starting point is 00:50:41 Is the IE right? Yeah, you can't just pop up on somebody Right, you might as well live in another state You know, some other states I'll see you on the holidays Yeah But it still feels close enough that if there was an emergency You could go
Starting point is 00:50:55 Right? Versus like a flight or something like that Or not even know where they're at It's like a 40 minute flight It's the same drive All right, well me and and Ebony are talking, okay? All right, so
Starting point is 00:51:05 So your daughter went to UCR. Yes. Let's go. There you go. One vote for UCR. I'm with you Ebeney. No. No. That's a happy medium. That's a happy medium. It's far enough that you get to live your own life but close enough that I feel comfortable. Yeah. Brous isn't about you. Yeah. Wait, who's going to school again? I'm going to therapy for that. I'm going to therapy for that to learn that things are not about me. Okay, sir. I'm trying. Okay. Let's go to Christina. Christina. Christina. Christina. Hello?
Starting point is 00:51:41 What's up, Christina? What's up, baby girl? I have my daughter with me, and she wants to say something. What's her name? Hi, Mom, Missa. Never leave your mom, okay? Always stay by her in her house, okay? But if you want to go to college, it's okay.
Starting point is 00:51:56 No, I want her to take off and fly. Yeah. All right, Christina. Well, you're doing bad for moms. All right? Oh, what? I'm kidding. Christina, you're doing an amazing job.
Starting point is 00:52:06 You're a better mom than I. I am. You're clearly more healthy and not toxic. Okay, Christina. I waited to 25. Oh, to have a baby? Oh, shout out you. You didn't have to throw me under the bus for that one. Damn.
Starting point is 00:52:21 Since I waited to my frontal loom to the middle. Yeah, I had my one. I wasn't someone missing their prom because they were getting it on. All right. Okay. All right. Christina, talk to me. Talk to me.
Starting point is 00:52:33 So I had the similar predicament where I felt guilty. I was the oldest. I'm the only girl, too, and I had two younger brothers. I wanted to go far away out of state, but at the same time, I was still scared because I still wanted to be close enough to help, if anything, happened. So the furthest I decided to go was to the Bay Area. I applied, but the biggest thing that I would say, my biggest, biggest advice is financial, like, look into it financially.
Starting point is 00:52:59 The Bay Area, the school I went to South State East Bay was the school that gave me the most money, and I knew that I wasn't going to have to call my parents and put that financial burden on them. Although junior year, I did have three jobs, and that's when I started having to work and provide the extra income for the books and all that. But the first two and a half years, I was able to survive off of what they gave me. And I lived on campus. I did all of that. However, the other thing I will say is it doesn't matter if the school is a party school. If you're an introvert, you won't really enjoy all the fun activities they will have.
Starting point is 00:53:30 My thing is being in England, I went to a 90% Latino high school. So I wanted to go through what was out there in the world. and East Bay, I went to Calcee East Bay, was literally so diverse. All of my friends, I have, like, all types of different friends from different cultures. And there's my best friend still to this day. I graduated in 2016, and we've been friends since 2011 since I started. So it's been a beautiful journey. It taught me to grow up, to mature, to survive on my own, not depend on my parents.
Starting point is 00:53:58 Although I was already independent. You sound like you made the best out of college. Yeah. You sound like you had, like, well, must be nice. I joined a sorority. Oh. Yeah. See, it wouldn't be a struggle if you were at home.
Starting point is 00:54:14 No. No, no, no, no. She makes a great point. She makes a great point. Her whole thesis, her whole thesis, her summary. She's educated. I knew she was smart when she said predicament and all that. Oh, wow.
Starting point is 00:54:29 Big words. It would be a really good call. Financial literacy. Yeah. Okay. Financial literacy. All right. We got.
Starting point is 00:54:35 Andrea from the city of Orange, okay? Andrea. Andrea. Hey, so I could barely hear what you guys were saying to the other callers, but it sounds like there was a lot of moms calling in with a similar situation. So another mom calling in with the similar situation. Yeah. I have a 17-year-old daughter who's trying to go out of state for school.
Starting point is 00:55:01 Oh, my God. And my advice to her, and I have two boys who are about the same age, my kids were one after the other. But my advice to all of them has always been to stay as close to home as possible. And I, well, I really want them to do what they want to do in life and to have fun and to do everything. But the thing is, is that I did that. And I came out here to California, met my now husband, their father. And, you know, there have been times where I didn't want to keep doing this. But it's not so easy to be like, I'm, I can't stand looking at you right now.
Starting point is 00:55:47 I'm going to my mom's house for a while because my mom's not here. Got it. Got it. You made a whole move. And at the times where you needed a break or you needed your family or you needed your support system, you couldn't just go see them. 100%. So that even made you feel more lonely. Stop emphasizing.
Starting point is 00:56:07 You're in another city, another state. Even though it's LA that you came to or the city of Orange, which is probably like the best of our best out there. Yeah, that's nice. Like it's really nice. You just still felt alone. 100%. So what I tell them essentially,
Starting point is 00:56:23 when you go and you're most likely going to meet someone, you have to accept the fact that that might be where you end up in life. Maybe it won't be. And I want you to be happy wherever you land. But just know that you will always be completely on your own if you do that. It's not as simple as just, you know, picking up to go around the corner and even hang out with a friend. You know, like maybe you'll make great friends out there, but maybe you won't. Maybe you'll be the best thing that afternoon.
Starting point is 00:56:57 Or maybe it doesn't. Or maybe you end up in the city of Orange. In a big house. Back to back to back. What a rich baby daddy. I see your point because it's like you and your kids are growing up here. But let's say they go out to school and I don't know, North Carolina. Like they more than likely are going to stay out there.
Starting point is 00:57:15 You know, if they meet their partner, like the person they love. Yeah. What's so bad about that? It's not bad. It's just like no. You don't have a sports system. You know what you're getting yourself in. Have you guys ever asked Jose what he does during the holidays besides cry?
Starting point is 00:57:26 Because he's not by his mom. What? His mother's days this weekend. Are you going to see your mom? No, I'm not. Wow. Why not? Why not?
Starting point is 00:57:33 Why is he? Stop out. He's smiling about it. No, he's going to be... He's going to live in that. What's the unit that he lives in? The garage. The ADU.
Starting point is 00:57:42 With the mattress on the floor. We're like, why did I choose this life? Yeah, mattresses are the bed. No, but it's not on the floor anymore. Oh. Moving on. Yeah. He's got a friend.
Starting point is 00:57:52 He makes you appreciate life. Yeah. I get what she's saying. She makes a great point. Yeah, she does. The further you move away, the lonelier you are. Boom. Boom.
Starting point is 00:58:02 Boom. Boom. No. Yeah. We're just lonely in general. That is not the moral of the room. And you're still lonely. That's how you feel when you're somewhere else.
Starting point is 00:58:11 The moral of her story was, if you go away, don't get pregnant because you get stuck in orange. Three kids, back to back to back. In a big house. In a big house. I don't want to be. Just kidding, Andrea. That's crazy.
Starting point is 00:58:26 All right. Ray. We love you. Hey, Ray. Ray. Ray. Ray. Hey, Ray.
Starting point is 00:58:30 Hey, Ray. A, Ray. Good morning, Brown, Bad. What's not. Ray. Hey, Ray. Hey, Ray. Hey, Ray.
Starting point is 00:58:33 Thank you for hold. Ray, you're from Simar. Yeah. Yeah, I know you wanted to leave. I was from Somer, too. Oh, Sumar is beautiful. Silmar is beautiful. His horses.
Starting point is 00:58:44 Where? Jose lives in Somar right now, and he lives by where they do all the takeover. That's what he hates it. Ray. Yeah. All right. She's like, all right, whatever.
Starting point is 00:58:59 Ray, talk to us. What do you got to say to this full, Jesse? who has been accepted to two colleges close by, but also one college out of state. And he wants to go to the out of state college. However, he's the oldest sibling. He feels like he has to take care of his family. He's talked to his mom about it before,
Starting point is 00:59:15 and she seemed like she faked happy. She faked smiled when she saw about the out-of-state college or university. But now he's wondering if he should leave or not because of the guilt that he feels. Well, first of all, it's not his responsibility to carry his guilt or the guilt of the responsibility. That's right.
Starting point is 00:59:34 The responsibility of the house. It's not. I have four children. My oldest is about ready to go off to college the same. And she feels the same way. Like, what are you going to do when I leave? And I'm like, I'm going to survive. The kids are going to survive.
Starting point is 00:59:45 We're going to be okay. What I worry about as a mother, and it makes me sad is, hey, did you remember to take the sweater to school this morning? Hey, did you eat? Do you have enough food? Can I get to you on time if there's an emergency? That's his mother's worry for him is you're so far away. but that's not his responsibility to the worry about those things.
Starting point is 01:00:06 Go to college. You got it. Like, you made it at this point. You worked hard for it. We're going to still be here at the end of the day. The family's still going to be here. It just do you, boy. Like, get out there, make the world a better place.
Starting point is 01:00:20 You're going to make your mama proud because you're the oldest, and she has been training for this since the day you were born. Right. He's going to go to Oregon and learn how to. No, no, Oregon is a beautiful place. All right. Ray, your oldest is going to leave out of state? Yeah, she's downright set, and this is her life goal. She wants to be a psychoanalyst and into this whole entire world.
Starting point is 01:00:48 And she's a girl, though, like, you know, sending your daughter out of state, like, into this world of craziness. Like, that's really stressful as a parent. But at the end of the day, like, it makes me really proud because she's the first one in our family to be able to do this. Like, I'm proud as a mom that the struggles that we came through, she grew up with me, you know? And we now get to have this new excitingness in our lives. And I can't wait for to travel with her to go and see where she lives. And, you know, her siblings are much, much younger than her. So she's feeling, you know, she's dealing with that inner bottle of.
Starting point is 01:01:25 Oh, so she was like your first, like your little rider died. Yeah. Like, I had her when I was 21, you know. so and being a single mom for so long and and then finally you know now we have our family my husband's here now like it yeah you know this family unit we do depend on her a lot because she is oldest and she's super responsibility you know responsible with her with her siblings who are you know her little sister's like you're gonna leave me and she's eight she doesn't understand but like that's not my daughter's responsibility to worry about that it's you i want you to go
Starting point is 01:01:57 and live your life that's amazing so you even understanding that you're going to be so not being able to be there you're still excited for what's to come like all the hair lost from your stress and the this is what she did it for diabetes and high blood pressure and I'm just I just wanted to know oh I get it this is what she struggled and work so hard for so that she can go out and have a better opportunity better life more life but even her she's like yes I'm gonna be so stressed as I won't be able to put on a sweater and take water.
Starting point is 01:02:32 Did you eat today? Yeah, I mean, she's right. Ray, you're better than us. Ray, you're amazing. Yeah. Just when that hair loss starts, I got a shampoo that can help. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 01:02:43 No, because you get, I have hair loss because of stress. That's what happened? All right. Yes. Stressing me out over here. Sitla. Good morning.
Starting point is 01:02:53 When I'm back. Hey, your name is beautiful. How do I spell it? Oh, thank you. It's C-I-C-L-A. Sitla. Okay, talk to us, Sitla from East Lowe. You know, we're Mexican.
Starting point is 01:03:07 Why I want her to stay home, you know? But it's not, you know, as a teen mom myself, I can't really like hold her down. And I have two daughters and the oldest one is actually looking into colleges. But she's always said this. Like I want to move out of state. I want to, you know, go to a bigger, you know, better college. I want to move out of California. everything's so expensive here.
Starting point is 01:03:32 So she, you know, I try my best to kind of, because I was in the situation when I was, I was pregnant with her on my prom night. So I really couldn't, you know, go to a full, you know, like C-SEN, for example. I couldn't go to a full on college like that because I had to go to community college. And although I have a good job now, thankfully, like she's seen how much I struggled, you know. And so she says that, like, I, mom, I want to do better and, you know, I want to make sure that, you know, you're good taking care of. But, you know, I tell her you shouldn't worry about that because her sibling, her, my daughter's
Starting point is 01:04:08 three, the other daughter. So I feel like she really looks out for us, like, hey, I don't know, are you guys going to be okay? But I tell her, like, we'll be fine. Don't worry. You know, you need to focus on you. But, you know, once in a while I do pull on the card, like, you're going to leave me, you know?
Starting point is 01:04:22 And we're Mexican, you know, we have to do that. You know, I can ask whatever I want, and I can do whatever I want. And I'm Mexico. That's so random. That's so random, but real. All right. No, shout-a-citla. Incredible points.
Starting point is 01:04:42 Cynthia, I'm reading your note already. I know you're going to shut me up, all right? San Fernando Valley in the house. What's up, San Fernando Valley? You're from the whole valley, Cynthia, or what's up? Well, I mean, I moved from L.A. to Bernada Hills, And then I lived in a couple places. Right now I'm actually living in San Fernando.
Starting point is 01:05:03 Come on. I was like, it's the valley. It's the valley, girl. All right. Talk to us. What would you tell this for Jesse? I mean, honestly, first of all, I'm so proud to hear all the moms and people that so far have spoken to Jesse and have given, I mean, it's going to sound about the same,
Starting point is 01:05:24 like similar advice because it's just such an accomplishment. to be accepted period. That part. Anywhere, right? Let's be real. Yeah. Yeah. It's such an accomplishment.
Starting point is 01:05:35 And the fact that the homie has choices, okay. Oh, okay. You got some choices. You got options over here. Yeah. Yeah, choose the one that's by the house. And I also was
Starting point is 01:05:52 a young mom, and I didn't get that opportunity. And I know that's probably a lot of what we're hearing, but a lot of things that, a lot of the things that are being said are very true. And I just feel like it's a stigma that with Latinos, like, do deal with because it's a lot, a lot, a lot of our lives is based on our families, right? Like, this is how we grew up. Like, this is, this is it right here. Everything you're doing is, well, what's my mom going to think?
Starting point is 01:06:19 What's my dad going to think? I still get in trouble by my dad. Yeah. Yeah. And it's funny that I actually was very lucky that. did have very supportive parents whatever I mean I was a mom really young so whatever happens whatever I needed they were there to help me yeah no me did on nothing right I had to work for it yeah this is an accomplishment that
Starting point is 01:06:40 Jesse was able to succeed to successfully accomplished right like he was able to get accepted able to to have that opportunity to say you know what I I want to try to to do this and I'm gonna do it okay let's try so why not just take it that step further and actually put yourself out there and take that opportunity college is like the safety net right in a sense because you're going to be thrown into the real world college is a real world there's a real world there's a lot of stuff that happens you know and and you're going to on your own it's like the w w w w you ever use ever use that what whatever you learn in college when are you i'm like i don't watch your baby to leave i know you don't want your baby to leave my
Starting point is 01:07:23 My daughter is 15. My daughter is 15 and we're 10 Quintaneda this year and now the next thing I'm thinking is college and I'm already crying just thinking about it. Yeah, Cynthia. Cry. No. You can cry every day. Happy tears. No, on this little note,
Starting point is 01:07:37 she said she has a bar. Cynthia, this is a bar, okay? This is great. Look, look. Kendra could have used this. Drake. Could have help you drink. She said, we push college on kids and then hold them back.
Starting point is 01:07:50 Oh. Sheesh. Bras. We push you so much to get your education and say, No, no, no, they're going to. No, no you go to. Ah, see. Wow.
Starting point is 01:08:01 She read me. Right before, you know, when I was talking before getting on air, I did say that, you know, they tell us every, all the time, oh, focus on your school. Go to school. It's important. It's important. It's great. And they're like, oh, no, you know, this is exactly what I worked for.
Starting point is 01:08:22 This is it right here. Yeah, you put it in my head, Mom and that's your fault. I'm the one that could have been a cholo instead. Yeah. Look what you guys made me do. We've got to college. Could have been full-fledged gangbanging by now. Thank you for that.
Starting point is 01:08:35 Could have been a member. By the way, I was just joking. I want everybody to go spread your wings and flies. Yeah. And Jesse, just think about it. If you go out of town, you got one, you got one or two over there. You got one back home to when you come back for the holidays. Just think about it.
Starting point is 01:08:49 You're so gross. All right. Come on Jesse. Hey, Amber! Sambra Sala with Angie. Dude, Lotto is getting cooked online. I'm getting kicked. For, yeah, Lotto, for putting her sister on blast
Starting point is 01:09:08 and pretty much saying that she's a brokie. Lato has a sister? This is the sister that was supposedly dating Drake. Yeah. The one that the four bats verse was about. Oh. Yeah. What's her name?
Starting point is 01:09:21 What is her in Brooklyn? Brooklyn. Brooklyn. Because you mentioned something about. Ryans are Brokey. Yeah. Just kidding, I'm just saying. Wow.
Starting point is 01:09:28 You're the way I said the rumor. One, it doesn't rhyme with Broke. Yeah, that's such is the same thing. That's messed up. That's her niece's name. Yeah, that's my niece's name. Wow. Sorry, best friend.
Starting point is 01:09:40 Yeah. That's not your best friend. Yeah, Monica, did you hear? Yeah, that's her best friend's daughter. Okay, Minimo. No, so a lot of getting cooked for that because so she posted, a lot of posted a video on her Twitter. Oh, though we're laughing that this will mess it out.
Starting point is 01:09:54 I know. What do you mean? What about Brooklyn? I already apologize to my best friend. Okay. Who? Apologize to Brooklyn's all over the world. Sorry, all the Brooklyn's.
Starting point is 01:10:03 Do you know there was a Brooklyn in... Brooklyn's finest? What? What? There was a street named Brooklyn out here. Really? Oh yeah. And Bo Heights.
Starting point is 01:10:12 Yeah. I didn't want to say East L.A. That's why it's Brooklyn Street Pizza. Yeah. They changed it to something else. Yeah. Yeah. All right.
Starting point is 01:10:20 Boom. I just apologize. To the street. To all of the street. All the people named and my best. friend. And to Brooklyn. Yeah, it's Caesar Chavez now.
Starting point is 01:10:29 I like that. Oh, yeah, there is. Wait, I think you told me when we went. Yeah, we passed by it. The live show. The live show. Look at us. Wow, you know a lot.
Starting point is 01:10:37 I know so much. It's so crazy. And I didn't leave home for it. You see? Oh my God. Jesse Steno! Sorry, that was our home. I was like.
Starting point is 01:10:48 All right. Angie, reset. Hold on. I'm sorry. Hey, what are you doing over there? Sambra Salah. With Angie. Okay, so Lado.
Starting point is 01:10:59 Lado. She's getting cooked online. She's getting cooked online for exposing her sister, calling her a brookie on Twitter. No way. That's the one that was dating Drake, no? Yeah. The four bats, right? Yeah, the four bats verse.
Starting point is 01:11:13 Oh, is her? Oh, okay. Her name is... What's her name? What's her name? My name is Brooklyn. Oh, okay. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:11:20 So Brooklyn was getting... She was getting clowned by her sister. Lado. Posed of a picture or video. online on her Twitter and put Miss Miss Machine. Machine. And she posted the video. Oh, yeah, like
Starting point is 01:11:34 the clothing brand. Like the clothing brand. And she posted a video and in the video you just say Brooklyn and Lotto and one of her friends and they're like vibing. They'll look cute but then Lottos are clowning her. Listen. Machine! Machine! Machine can't talk. That's not my name. Baby, if you got on she then if you got on Shee and Miss Chanel from VHG, I'm not going to like Actually, no, never in life. Y'all host can't get this one.
Starting point is 01:12:02 All right. You want to know why that can't get it because they're right in the Chanel store. Damn, that's the last master. Nothing wrong with she neither. No. Or fake Chanel. Yeah, she's like, that's not even real Chanel.
Starting point is 01:12:14 You're going to get, she got that from D.H. Gate. Pretty much. But why you got to put her out of glass like that? Her sister's like 21 years old. She's younger. Like, she's not going to be like rich and famous like Lado at 21 years old, you know? Oh, that. That hurts.
Starting point is 01:12:27 That sucks. My first Prada bag was from not real. A place. Oh, but it looked really real. Yeah, it looked real. Everybody starts off like that. Yeah. But she was getting cooked online.
Starting point is 01:12:38 They were saying like, why, that's super mean? Why would she do? A lot of them were getting cooked. It backfired on her. It did. Because you got to think, like, a lot of her fans, you know, and everybody else in the world, where she, it's nothing wrong with it. Yeah. And then also.
Starting point is 01:12:52 And now I know about D.H.Gate. What's that? What is that? I think also usually they say like you have a friend that's a hater. Yeah. But it's like when it's your sister. Yeah. It's like different.
Starting point is 01:13:03 Or brother, it's crazy. I would never know, but. But it happens. But also it's like, you know you have that sibling rivalry that like we don't know what Brooklyn tells. Lotto. Behind the scenes. Yeah. But it's going to seem like bullying.
Starting point is 01:13:17 Like your man don't even claim you. Something. There's something that she says that between siblings, it's completely okay because there's back and forth. But when it's taken out of context, it looks really bad. That's my oldest brother right there. My oldest brother will see
Starting point is 01:13:30 me getting like all this stuff done and all this. You still ain't nothing though. Yeah, like, but then he comes up to me and Maximoth a live show like, bro.
Starting point is 01:13:39 So proud of my brother. Yeah, exactly. I'm gonna remind you every single time though, but you ain't still nothing. I'm like, to him it keeps you humble. It does. Yeah, it does.
Starting point is 01:13:48 It's not working, but. Yeah, it's not. Now, but a lot of did reply back because she was getting that backlash. And she was just saying like, nah, you guys should just hear what we say to each other behind cameras.
Starting point is 01:13:58 Okay, yeah. So it's like, okay, I get it because same. I don't clown my sister like on videos like that. Yeah. But I know I call her different, like, mean things. Yeah. But I cannot say on radio. Can you give us an example?
Starting point is 01:14:09 I can't imagine Njib mean. I don't know. Oh, wow. She calls her the beware. Really? And dumb something. Yeah. That's it.
Starting point is 01:14:18 That's it. That's how they talk to each other. That's how you talk to each other and siblings. Yeah. Yeah. My youngest sister can tell me things that. nobody else can. Like, she's mean.
Starting point is 01:14:26 Like, she'll clown me so fast, and I'll be like, who. And I think there's a part of clowning and then the video part. Yeah. Because we don't know you like that. Like, I don't know a lot of to be that mean or. No. She seems nice. Unless she's talking about ice spice.
Starting point is 01:14:39 Right. I just want a one-on-one. I don't know why she's so nervous. I love that song. Yeah. But to see her kind of just going on her sister, that was like, oh. Yeah. No, yeah.
Starting point is 01:14:50 I mean, in public is worse, too. Yeah. You don't know, but like I said, Brooklyn could be calling her, like, I don't know, like spice. You're right, right. Like she could be making it on her, get around her skin. You're right, you're right. You're not on camera so we can't.
Starting point is 01:15:00 We don't see that part. And notice that it's Lotto saying that's how they clown. It's not Brooklyn saying that that's how they clown. She's probably like, finally, they've come to a rescue. Yeah. I need help. Yeah. Dude, but then Lotto, I guess, it kept going,
Starting point is 01:15:14 because then she posted like a receipt of an order that she just placed with Sheen of $400. Lotto. Lotto did that after once. Oh, she had to. You got to clean it up. Yeah, of course. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:15:23 It's like, And Cardi went into coach after you're having that line about coach bag. Oh, yeah. So what's that potential, the code. Yeah. Yeah. The deals, the potential deals that you can miss out on and just alienating your fans in general. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:15:34 Facts. Yeah. Well, we'll see. Thank you for that. All right. That's it for your sombrasa. I'm Angie from Brownback Morning. It's on Power 106.
Starting point is 01:15:42 What's up? This is Be Real from Cypress Hill. Where are you from, Es? Don't you know I'm local? Okay. Pop quiz. California pop quiz. All right.
Starting point is 01:15:52 I'm ready. I'm ready. What is, don't be Googling, get off your, no, close it. Yeah, close your laptop. Close it. Close my laptop. He was looking up Lado sister. I was.
Starting point is 01:16:00 What she looked like. Yeah, it's pretty bad. Look at the time now. What is California's slogan? Everyone at a time. A nice place to live. That's Calton Valley. FBs get money?
Starting point is 01:16:16 Yeah. Oh my gosh. We need water. Is it the golden state? No, that's our nickname. Okay. Because you thought you had it. Yeah, I didn't.
Starting point is 01:16:28 Yeah, you did. No, I said, I know the bird and the flower. Oh, you're a book report on California. I said another bird and flower. Yeah, you said it so confidently, like you know how. State of dreams. No, no. No.
Starting point is 01:16:40 Okay. Anyone else on a guess, Ramona, you got something in you? I got something in you. Wow. Do you want something in you? Hey, yo. Okay. It's funny when it's a gross thing.
Starting point is 01:16:51 He jokes. Yeah. If I wasn't, If I was in it. You, pause. It's cool when they do it. Pause, pause, pause. Pause.
Starting point is 01:16:57 Everyone's, it's cool when you do it. He was like, Latte doesn't even use pause, right. Pause back. California is replacing its marketing slogan. And now it's showing me they needed to because no one knows the marketing slogan. Probably also because a lot of people are leaving for Texas. Okay. Can you say the first word?
Starting point is 01:17:15 Can we still guess, letti, this is fun. Can we please guess? The first dream is a part of it. What dreams come true? You know, Dream Big. At least it's not Arizona. No. The state of Dreamers.
Starting point is 01:17:27 No. Well, there's that too. All right. Dream Big has been California's marketing. For real? Okay. It's like to help people come visit California, come Dream Big over here. It doesn't happen.
Starting point is 01:17:43 Like, maybe that's how you got all the transplants. They come over here to Dream Big. You like it? No. No. It's cool. Boring. It's all right.
Starting point is 01:17:50 So now it's being changed to. The ultimate playground. You're lying. I like that. I like that. They say that ultimate playground is a safer and less politically charged message than Dream Big. I don't know. How is that politically charged?
Starting point is 01:18:06 I hate the old political. Sensitive people. Vegas is the ultimate playground. Yes. Come on. A place to Campbell. Okay. It's they're saying California's playful lifestyle paired with our abundance of experiences.
Starting point is 01:18:19 Create something no other destination can claim. California is the ultimate playground That sounds really great No it doesn't It sounds like a strip club Yeah it does You never playgrounds when you were a kid There was so much going on
Starting point is 01:18:34 And that's how I feel like LA is Like there's somebody probably eating wood chips Yeah in the middle of LA right now Somebody's probably taking a poop Yes There's a random strange dude That shouldn't be around yeah exactly Somebody's crying
Starting point is 01:18:45 Someone's getting initiated into something In the side By the handball courts Terrible. Yeah. It should be like, if you can make it here, you can make it anywhere. That's New York. Stop taking those people's smoking.
Starting point is 01:19:00 Clearly it worked out for their marketing. But stop taking it from them. So there we go. We are. California. Ultimate playground. I don't like it. I remember one time when I was on tour with Jakeo.
Starting point is 01:19:11 We were in Charlotte or we flew out of Charlotte. And their slogan was like, Charlotte, we have a lot. And then I'm like, wait, a lot of what? Like, what is it? And I was so, till this day, I think about that. Is that why Jaycoe has a lot? A lot of what? Trace.
Starting point is 01:19:27 Is that why Jaycoe made that song with 21-7? Probably. A lot. How much money you got? A lot. They're at the Charlotte airport. A lot. Write this down right now.
Starting point is 01:19:35 Yeah, Charlotte. We got a lot. They should call it Charlotte. Charlotte. I mean, I don't know anything they have in Charlotte. They don't even have a basketball team. But they got a lot. They do.
Starting point is 01:19:45 They do. Yeah, they do. They do. They went back. Those are the Pelicans. I like the name. I know. They got the hornets, nobody can't.
Starting point is 01:19:53 No, but the pelicans, were they the team that moved? They were. Look at me. Another thing that I know. I like it. I like the playground. Ultimate playground. I don't know.
Starting point is 01:20:01 If I see you around this ultimate playground, bro. Everything Greg talked about Ultimate Playground is like weird stuff. Yeah. So that's what you guys do at the ultimate playgrounds. Now I know that Greg has eight woodchips before. You guys have it? He wants to slide down a slide. The monkey bars and fall off and cry.
Starting point is 01:20:17 Yeah. No. You're the dude that while we're going down the slide. to walk up it. Yeah. Brow, move. Simple rules,
Starting point is 01:20:25 bro. Okay. Do you like the slogan? Anybody? No. No. No. It's a no for me, dog.
Starting point is 01:20:30 Yeah. Sorry. Not at all. What should it be then? You got to give solutions. I usually call it Gotham City. That's downtown LA. That's downtown LA.
Starting point is 01:20:38 California. Yeah. The most expensive place to live. Yeah. Yeah. You're right? Come shine with us. I would have told.
Starting point is 01:20:46 Oh, California. California. Come shine with us. We expensive. Yeah. I would have thought like golden. Golden State like just in general Those are the Nick name
Starting point is 01:20:53 That's not the slogan Come shine with us No you don't want them to come just Thank you very it's like vote for me Next year baby You won't make it For what? I'm changing the slogan
Starting point is 01:21:02 For For game Fork as Locals only How about that? Locals only? No No Sounds like Orange County
Starting point is 01:21:09 Yeah Yeah Yeah My town Not yours Alright give you Try 106 L8s number one for hip
Starting point is 01:21:17 Hip Sprolin with the homie The homie, Gregorio. Gregorius. You put it more than two up, didn't you? No, I was looking at it. It was pretty cold. It was like at 60-something.
Starting point is 01:21:28 Yeah, I know. Why you always have it at 60? Stop. Maximo just got it down. Stop it, bro. Put it at 71. No, Maximo, you're not the only one in this room. You're not Beyonce.
Starting point is 01:21:37 Stop. Put it one up. Every time we turn around. One up. Every time we turn around, Greg puts the temperature at 69. For Drake. 69, guys. It's at 71 now.
Starting point is 01:21:48 Okay. That's it. It should be fine. But it's not going to be as cold as all this Dodgers slander that's going on right now. Oh, who's slandering the Dodgers besides you? There's other people out there that are feeling a type of way towards the pitcher Yamamoto. Why? Because he's –
Starting point is 01:22:05 Br, Yamamoto survived near death by a catch that he had the other day. He's had a lot of bad games. His debut wasn't that good. A lot of people are hitting off of him. He's adjusting to a new country, a whole new league. I think a lot of people hit off pitchers. It's a professional – Like that's low.
Starting point is 01:22:20 their job to hit off a picture. He was supposed to be the next big thing. He was supposed to be like another old time. It was not too late. He is the next big thing. Bro, we're in May and the season started in April. Yeah. Last night, the dogs played the Marlins.
Starting point is 01:22:33 Okay. Okay. And this is how they felt about him. Yesterday during the day. They didn't play last night for it was a day game. Yeah, because she was in the last night. And everybody interviewing them with great audio and everything. I just say last night just to say it in general.
Starting point is 01:22:48 Let's just looking at you, crazy. Please, foet on him. I heard that. I pray on you. I pray that on you. Big, I heard all about it. Yeah. No, you're going to hear about it at 9.30.
Starting point is 01:23:04 Anyways, should we foet up? You're going to foet out this sportscaster as well. So this is what's going down. Yamamoto isn't doing the best. Like, even though people hit off pictures, they're not meant to hit off like this. Like, he's low-key tossing it up. Yeah, because he's supposed to be the next big thing.
Starting point is 01:23:18 Like I said, he's good. He's really good. No, he's doing bad. He was. He started off bad. Now he's doing better, but listen to this audio. What the hell are you saying? I'm trying to help.
Starting point is 01:23:29 Hold out, hold on, hold on. Oh, oh, oh. Don't take this the wrong way, but we are already a no-hitter alert. Yoshinobu Yamamoto, before he throws a single pitch tonight against the Marlins. We have a no-hitter alert. Okay. Enjoy what could be a no-hitter from Yamamoto. We have a no-hitter alert.
Starting point is 01:23:48 They're making fun of him. They're joking. sarcastic towards him. Wow. Because the game hadn't started yet. Yeah. This was way before the game even started. Oh.
Starting point is 01:23:57 First pitch. What a jerk. Yeah. It's like when Vic Oaks to New World are like, Brad Pitt alert. Hotest guy in the game alert. Wow. He's coming in.
Starting point is 01:24:06 Get all the girls alert. Angelina. Biggest pin by no. Yeah. Biggest pin by no alert. And then he's sad. Listen to the... Reading through her old text.
Starting point is 01:24:16 Oh, wow. Try to her for a tornado. Listen to the first pitch Dang. All right, listen to the first pitch that Yamamoto throw. Yamamoto comes home and off we go. And the aggressive Marlins get a first pitch swing and a high fly ball and a home run for Jazz Chish.
Starting point is 01:24:32 Dang. First pitch. The first pitch of the game is the first home run. First home run. Oh, that's going to get to his. Whenever they translated to him, that's going to get to him. They need to translate to him, right? Yeah, right.
Starting point is 01:24:46 It's going to come across way more mean. I know a guy. I know the guy that can translate. Just charges a little fee. A little transfer fee. He's not doing another right now. No. Dang.
Starting point is 01:24:57 Oh my God. So there were, man, I hate that. That sucks. And then also look, like, just like a baseball thing, but like, yeah, solo home runs, like they seem bad. Yeah. But it's not that big of a deal. It's one run. It just gets it over with.
Starting point is 01:25:09 It's like, boom. Okay. Now, like, all right, we're going to adjust usually, right? So it's like, it is bad. It's like a bad omen to start a game. Nobody wants to start a game like that. But it's like sometimes that can be the only run they gave up. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:25:20 Yeah. They ended up winning Dodgers won three to one. Of course. Right. Wrong fire. 14 and two in the last 16 games. Coming up and I believe blue, brother. That's right.
Starting point is 01:25:28 Another Padre's doing. Don't worry about that. Yeah. But you agree that this is not nice? I agree it's not nice because everybody's all in his downfall. He's a Godger friend. He's a Dodger friend. Because everybody's making fun of them.
Starting point is 01:25:39 It's okay. No hitter. No hitter. But they always make fun of us, but there's something in your little carzone. Yeah. Yeah. You're like the Grinch.
Starting point is 01:25:47 Like your heart is turning more blue. Oh, actually. If you lift up his shirt, the L.A. that was on his stomach, it's getting closer to his heart. Yeah, it's moving. I love it. I'm all for the conversion.
Starting point is 01:25:57 We just got to jump you in real quick. Yeah, we would have to jump you in. Meet us at the parking lot 10 or one of the baseball. Dodger Rose. Yeah, yeah. If they went for his body. All right. Well, thank you for that great.
Starting point is 01:26:08 I appreciate him. I hope he doesn't give up any more home runs because we're playing you guys this weekend and we're going to win. But you hope that he doesn't give it up, so that he's rooting for us. No, I want more runners this weekend. We're going to win. Yeah, I like it. Ladies and gentlemen, could I please have your attention? I like you a lot.
Starting point is 01:26:29 Hell! I don't even go here. Shut along to my little friend. Fijian. Filty animal. What you're thinking is? That was you said it. Uh-huh.
Starting point is 01:26:40 What happens in that part? There are rumors going around. All right. What's up, Maximo? That the simple life is making a return. Yeah. The simple life. The simple life with Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie.
Starting point is 01:26:53 That's hot. That's hot. That's hot. That's hot. I mean, I think growing up, like, that was one of those shows that everyone was watching. Yeah. It was, like, viral before viral. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 01:27:04 I was a big fan of Paris Hilton growing up. Yeah. What DVD did you have? Simple Life. What season? Simple life. As a simple life after dark. I think mine was a prequel.
Starting point is 01:27:16 This show actually put me on to who Nicole Richie was. We knew Paris Hilton because of just the Hilton and the name kind of familiar. For sure. I granted, Richie is. a familiar name because of Lionel Richie. Right. But her character, her personality, was so freaking funny. I love Nicole Richie.
Starting point is 01:27:31 Yeah, the concept of the show overall, I think it took everyone by storm because we're like. It was genius. It was these two, like, rich girls that come from, like, wealthy family. We're thrown into, like, the countryside and we're asked to pretty much live with, like, a family in the countryside and live their lifestyle. Kind of, like, strip all their luxuries away from them. Yeah. And then live a real simple life.
Starting point is 01:27:53 Real jobs. You ever clocked in anywhere before? No. Have you ever had a real job? No. Okay. Do you remember when they went to Walmart? I don't know.
Starting point is 01:28:03 What is Walmart? It's like they sell wall stuff? What is it? Wall stuff? They sell wall stuff. Wow. Bro. No, not going to Walmart is crazy.
Starting point is 01:28:15 Yeah. Not having knowing what Walmart is. I think they really didn't know. Yeah. How would they? They're like. They probably know the walls or whoever. Walmart was made by they probably know those that true.
Starting point is 01:28:27 They know that Enrique does the stuff on the walls that's all they know. To this day, me and my sister still do this. Here you go. That little We even have like a dance like so-sau-sau-so-so-sum. They have so many quotables.
Starting point is 01:28:51 They have quotables. Like there are just a lot of moments. that I think when we went to school, it's like, yo, like, and just mimic them. This is our, what's this full? She's my sister. Borat. Yeah, that's my borat.
Starting point is 01:29:08 No way. That's hot. Yeah, the sayings, like once you start, you can't stop. You guys go, wah-wah-we-wh-wh-wh-whi-wa. King of the castle. Yeah, I'm excited. But will it be them? Yes.
Starting point is 01:29:21 So the people is supposed to be them. Okay. It's what they're saying. The same duo and it's going to make a return. True. I didn't even... Go ahead. And they have children now.
Starting point is 01:29:32 Yeah, they have children now. Yeah, that's probably going to be the premise. Exactly. Bringing their kids on probably. I mean, obviously, they already kind of get an idea of the concept of the show. Yeah, right. We'll see what happens. That's cool.
Starting point is 01:29:43 Is it going to be like on Hulu? Is it going to be like... They haven't really said those details. That's dope. Is that the channel you wanted on? I would watch it. You're so dumb. Just for Per Celton.
Starting point is 01:29:52 She's hot. She is hot Yeah, they're both beautiful Dude, what they did And you know what? Honestly, like it made them more likable Granted, when you just see random, like rich girl
Starting point is 01:30:01 You're like, oh, okay, cool, I don't really care about you Yeah But it made Perry Silton likeable And what she did Not only did she do the Paraseltin perfume. Yeah, the perfume
Starting point is 01:30:10 Smells great. Yeah. She made that song, stars are blind. Right. If it wasn't Parasilton, we wouldn't have Kim Kardashian. That's true. That's true.
Starting point is 01:30:17 You know what I like seen those videos? You know what I'm saying? You know what? She maximized your situation. I mean, she was already rich, right? But she maximized the looks, the light that she got. Even to today, she's like a DJ. She just has like a space in like America's heart that like, man, that was a cool era.
Starting point is 01:30:32 Like she is like damn near the poster child for that era back then. And she seems cool. Yeah. Like she doesn't seem like she didn't be around us and be like, ugh. No. She might feel it, but she won't say. Yeah. She'll be like, that's caliente.
Starting point is 01:30:46 Like around us. That's caliente. Hey, I saw a video of her. Me too. Oh, we have the same video. You guys watch different type of video. It was after dark. She was on the phone.
Starting point is 01:30:59 Night vision? And she was like she gave, I was going to say, whoa. What? What did she give? She gave some game. She gave some game. Okay. She gave some game.
Starting point is 01:31:13 And she said that if to avoid neck wrinkles that we should be. What? You want to hear it or not. I do I do. You want to hear it or not. She's like on her private jet and she's like to avoid neck wrinkles, you should hold your head up while you're on your phone. She says this is how she uses her phone. Oh, like her head up.
Starting point is 01:31:37 Neck up. Yeah. So that you don't get. As opposed to. You don't get wrinkles. She's like if you're looking down, you're going to get neck wrinkles. Oh. And so that's why I do that.
Starting point is 01:31:47 I'm also doing that. Easier. Makes sense. Well, thank you for that. I can't wait. Take a guess, take no. It's not. No.
Starting point is 01:31:56 Stream yes. Stream yes. Keep videos. 5106. Brown bag. It's Brown Bag on Paran 106. Number one for hip-hop.
