Starting point is 00:00:00 Power 106, Brownback mornings. Buenos days. Good morning. Okay, so today we talk about like the national days. Today's national online dating day. Is that what it's called? Ravana? National online dating.
Starting point is 00:00:12 And then I asked the crew, do you, because clearly you guys have been in online. Yeah. Yeah. Many, probably. Social media is online. Till this day. To this day. Do you remember that first online little romance you had?
Starting point is 00:00:25 And the first one to pop out and say something was our producer, Ramona. Yeah, first of all, shut up. But what happened? What happened? On the party line. On the party line. Show me. It's a party.
Starting point is 00:00:41 It's a party. It's a party. It lasted like about eight months and I saw the dude twice. What? You linked up. Okay, hold on. Different high schools too. Different high schools?
Starting point is 00:00:51 Yeah. Okay, my memory of the party line is like you go on there and like you talk ish and then you hang up, right? So did you get his number and you kept talking? Yeah. Or you just stayed on the party line to see each other again? The party line, online, it lasted like about a month. But eventually we exchanged numbers and it just went from there.
Starting point is 00:01:08 Wow. How do you like connect with them every single time in the party line? I thought it was always anonymous. Yeah. Then they went online. They went from the party line to AIM. Here's my email. To AIM?
Starting point is 00:01:18 Yes. And give my AIM. ASL. Okay. And where was he from? Birmingham High School. Dang. Wow.
Starting point is 00:01:28 She still remembers till this day. Let me find out those Maximo's older brother. You only tried to other twice? Where did you meet a Richie Ballant? No, actually, Silmar Park. Silmar Park? Wow. Twice.
Starting point is 00:01:46 Tiddle that for you then. This is before danger existed, obviously, right? No, there was a lot of danger at that time. There was a lot of danger. I don't think you could do that these days. What do you mean, meet up with somebody like that at the party line? On the party line? Well, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:02:00 The party line is in the way. I think it still exists. What's the number? You should make the party lane. I should. Yeah. All right. All right.
Starting point is 00:02:05 Go on Instagram now. Say hello. Hello. No. Oh. Hanging up. Yeah. You're getting curved.
Starting point is 00:02:12 Vic. Vic. Say hello. What's so? Hey. Oh, you have experience. Where are you at? What are you at?
Starting point is 00:02:20 You're even a nerd on the party line, Greg? Oh, yeah. I thought. I did it like once in my life and I didn't know what. Were you two or what? I was like 10, like a lot. What did you do?
Starting point is 00:02:29 You went under your cuss, huh? Yeah. Wow. I'm going to pass the phone to my little homie. Say all the cuss words there now. Say hello. Stick in your butt. That was it.
Starting point is 00:02:40 I remember like that. Something like that. It was so straight right here, straight chilling with the homie posted. Yeah. What are you doing? You got to make whatever you're doing sound epic. Even though you're like hanging to a cord to a phone that has a cord.
Starting point is 00:02:51 Corded phone. Corded phone. Yeah. All right. Do you guys remember your first online relationship? First online relationship. No? It had to be MySpace.
Starting point is 00:03:03 I can't remember exactly. Oh my gosh. I think you just reminded me of mine. Go, go, go, go. Bro, the fool did the thing where he's really short but he don't look short. Oh. He hyped fished you? He hyped fished me, Doug!
Starting point is 00:03:20 Why are me and you the eye level dog? I'm little. Oh, that's short. But that was crazy. Yeah, he's a rapper. That's crazy. He's in North Hollywood. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:03:33 I wonder what he's doing now. I'm ready. Still reaching for the stars? I still reaching for the stars. You guys don't remember your first online relationship? It had to be Facebook for me. Facebook. Facebook.
Starting point is 00:03:46 Okay. Yeah, I can't remember. But who was it? See, this is like guys, like the girls remember it. We remember it vividly, right, Ramona? Angie, I don't know if you did. No, my was like laid in its Marcus, literally Twitter. I know.
Starting point is 00:03:59 I know. I know. Nobody existed before him. That's what it was. Yeah. I got like, how do I say? It was like, I got caught up for, I remember my first being caught up on there. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:11 No, no, no. It was like, it was bad. All right. So I had like, I was like 16 or 17 and I was dating this girl from Englewood and everything was cool. And then this other girl that was like older. She was like 19. She started hitting me up.
Starting point is 00:04:22 And I was like, oh, this girl's hot. Whatever, right? Talk to her for a while. And then she's like, hey, let's meet up at the beach. So I go to do. Weiler Beach to try to meet up with her. And who do I see? Your girl.
Starting point is 00:04:33 Oh my girl. She's walking toward me with their whole family. This is Tuesday. She walked toward me with their whole family. She's like, what are you doing here? I'm like, I just came to the beach with my cousin. Her whole family? Like all her cousins.
Starting point is 00:04:47 Wow. And I'm like, I'm just like, I see her. And I just try to like walk into the beach forever. Like I'm just like, I'm just going to walk into the beach and see how far I go and never come back. Hold on. So was she the one? No, but that girl... Oh, I thought she was commenting you.
Starting point is 00:05:02 No, I thought so, too. Like, she, like, faked a profile to catch you. I thought so, too, but it was actually a real person that just wanted to be, like, a saw or something just like, you want to play a game. Like, she just decided to show that girl that I was dating all the messages. Hold on. Wait, wait, hold on, hold on, hold on. Oh, so they met each other. They knew each other.
Starting point is 00:05:20 No, they didn't know each other. This girl was trying to, like, puppet master it. Yeah. Flirt with Vic. Get him to go to Doc Wilder. maybe get that girl, his girlfriend out there at the same time. So basically the girlfriend catches Vic. Yeah, like basically like she told her like, oh like this your boyfriend's been flirting with me.
Starting point is 00:05:36 And like he's going to meet up with me. Who was it? I don't know. I mean, I remember her name, stupid Clarissa. Clarissa. You felt for Clarissa died. Yeah. Oh my God.
Starting point is 00:05:46 I don't know what that was about. It was crazy. It felt like episode of like Catfish. Yeah. But it was. But before Catfish. Yeah, it was way before that. Your girl, did she show you all the messages and all of that?
Starting point is 00:05:56 No, but she just. new, like she just looked at me like, why are you talking to this girl? And I was like, I thought she was older or not her. I don't know. I'm sorry. I fell for it. I fell for it. Yeah, I'm a victim. I'm a victim. I was a victim. Well, I think about big. He's going to find out how he's the victim in his situation.
Starting point is 00:06:12 Greg, nothing? No, I remember getting played for the first time, too. Well, I played them. They went to the same school and they found out. What? You're online? I was talking to one of them. And then I was like, ooh, this other one's cute, too. And I didn't realize that they're in the same grade,
Starting point is 00:06:25 same class, same school and everything, and then they were like, oh yeah, I'm talking to this guy from another school. She's like, I'm talking to this guy. Oh, great. And then one of them went off, and then the other one stopped talking to me and got pregnant, like a year later. And that was like in your emo age?
Starting point is 00:06:38 That was like in high school. Your emo, little era. Yeah, my little, I actually know this was like obey snapback era. Yeah. I thought I was fresh with a snapback on the side. You're jerking? Yeah, and then you had to jerk it because you didn't last bottle.
Starting point is 00:06:49 I lost both. It's crazy. Yeah, and now they both have kids. Yeah, and you're here. I'm here, man. I'm here. Just have one thing yet. Lonely men.
Starting point is 00:06:57 I don't have any kids. All right. Keep in here. Sarah Windows 6. Simp or pimp. B IMP. Zip, sip, sip, sip, sip, sip, sip, sip, sip, sip, sip. Okay, maximization is out with the choro.
Starting point is 00:07:15 Yeah. This is true. Every time. For the record, I came with a choro. So he has no excuse. He's out. Excuse. So, but he's out.
Starting point is 00:07:26 She cute. He was being a choro. My little booboo over here. What's going on? Man, Greg. Marlon Wayans. Greg, you know what to sound like that. Marlon Wayans went on an interview to publish that he made a commitment to his mother that she's the number one woman in his life and he stuck to it.
Starting point is 00:07:46 Okay. You know what that means? He said, he told her, I will never get married because I never wanted my mother to be jealous of a another woman. I wanted my mom to feel second. I would never want my mom to feel second to any other woman. Oh. What?
Starting point is 00:08:03 You hear that kids? That's beautiful. That is, I'm thinking that's it. Yeah. That's so sad. Yeah, no, I get it. Like, he's definitely being, like, the greatest son of all time. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:16 Because I can't do that. Love you, Mom. He said his mom was very needy. That's why he never knew. He felt very responsible for her emotion. His parents weren't together, right? No. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:26 So that was a thing and then... He wanted to step up as like the man. Yeah. It's, uh, it's, I mean, it's, I don't know if it's sim, it's like something else. It's like, but if it would be anything, you'll be sick. Yeah. It's definitely not pimped. That's for sure.
Starting point is 00:08:41 But maybe, maybe there's just that love you appreciate all that she went through to have birth you and all this she went, she gave up and sacrificed. Yeah, but to never get married for it. And I get it that it's like, She didn't want, he didn't want her to be lonely and, you know, not taking care of. And it's like obviously when you have a relationship and a family, right. Everything else kind of will naturally come second. Right.
Starting point is 00:09:06 So I get him for doing that. But there was a way if he really tried hard, like to integrate, you know, his family. And he's never been married? No, he's never been married. But he was in a relationship, like a long time relationship. And he had two kids. Yeah. Okay.
Starting point is 00:09:21 Yeah. So he liked his mom. Yeah, that's basically breaking it right there. Yeah. Yeah. Essentially. Okay. So there was an episode. Which show was Topanga in?
Starting point is 00:09:31 Boy Meets World. I think it was Boy. You know, she was the boyfriend of the boy that met the world. I think there was an episode where the mom was really jealous and the mom was like, no, that's my son. And she was a little bit jealous of Topanga. Yeah. And since then I thought like that's a mom thing. Like that's what we're supposed to happen.
Starting point is 00:09:46 Just supposed to be jealous? Because in my formative years, I saw that video or that episode and I was like, oh, yeah, it makes sense. So like this, I'm like, okay. He probably saw Boy Meets World. Is that what you want the boys to do? For sure. Never married? They watched that episode over right now.
Starting point is 00:10:01 Sorry, that's all we got on Lulu. This is the world. Oh, Netflix again, boom. Bluey and Boy Meets World. Let's go. No, no, no. This is very simple towards your mom, which is weird. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:11 It's definitely simple. To never get married? Well, the reasoning, you cannot get married if you don't want to get married. That's true. But if it's like, I don't want my mom to feel like second to any girl. Yeah. Yeah, great stuff, bud. Great son
Starting point is 00:10:24 You got a good son Are you a good son? Hey you Hey it could be a thing Yeah Ask Jose look how quiet is See? All right
Starting point is 00:10:31 Sim Sim! Sim! Sim! Sim! What's the word? Word on Rosecrans Roads
Starting point is 00:10:39 Word on Rosecrans The word is Tyrese Stop performing To avoid being served in a lawsuit Okay? Tyrese was performing
Starting point is 00:10:49 the other day in Georgia And while he was on stage His security whispered into his ear and said, someone is here to serve you paperwork for a lawsuit. What? He then started eyeing the exit but kept singing. All right. Listen to this.
Starting point is 00:11:03 He said, I'm coming out. I'm coming out. He sang all the way to the exit. That's him walking out. That's him walking out. The whole crowd is looking at him like, where is he going? Is this part of the show? And then he told the security, I'm coming out.
Starting point is 00:11:41 I'm coming out. Open the door now. Left everything behind and just walked straight out the venue. Shout to Tyrese. You guys got to watch this video on Brownback Mornings 106. It's hilarious. On Instagram. On Instagram.
Starting point is 00:11:53 And Tyrese continues to be one of the most unintentionally funny people in the entire world. I love this guy. In the history of the existence of the entire planet. I'll never get the lawsuit if I just never get the papers. You're going to get the lawsuit. You're going to get the paperwork. Okay. But I understand why he was leaving.
Starting point is 00:12:09 Because the lawsuit is reportedly for $10 million. Oh. It's a $10 million defamation and libel lawsuit from Brian Barber. He's a video director who he accused, he's accusing Tyrese of attacking his character and reputation in an interview. What? Yes. So. Tyrese would never say anything bad.
Starting point is 00:12:31 About anybody? Yeah. Well, I don't know. There's an interview. Yeah. To sue for $10 million for that? You didn't sue for like stuff that you feel like you lost out on work, like the work that you could have got. But like he ruined it for you, all of that stuff.
Starting point is 00:12:45 Exactly. That's like I got to watch what you say. Ten million dollars. But I don't know what the interview was. I wonder what he said. I'm not sure exactly what he said either. But it must have been really bad. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:58 To Brian Barber. Yeah. Shout to Tyree still. Walking out. Yeah. I'm coming out. The funny part is the song is, how are you going to act like that? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:08 Why are you doing that? Yeah. How are you going to act like that and just sue me for $10 million? Heesh. He's trying to get his money. Yeah. Yeah, they're full. All right. Look, rock nation artist. Kailin For Real Forill is helping make the West Coast great again.
Starting point is 00:13:21 All right. Hey, Kaylan. He just dropped a new album featuring songs with YG and Thai dollar sign. And we had him in for an interview recently. And he told us he's not only betting on himself. He's betting on everybody and everything. All right. Listen to a snippet of this interview where he talks about his gambling addiction.
Starting point is 00:13:36 I mean, hobby. His hobby. His hobby. All right. We're talking about this because both of our, clearly, our LA teams out the playoffs, right? Yeah. We, Vic and everybody but Maximo
Starting point is 00:13:46 are big Laker fans. Maximo loves the Clippers. Yeah. Yeah. Who do we root for now that all of our L.A. teams are out of the playoffs? Who does Caitlin root for?
Starting point is 00:13:55 I'm going for Dallas. I like Kyrie. You want to Matt. Yeah. I'm going for Kyrie. You're not going for Jordan's son? At Edwards? I'm going for Kyrie.
Starting point is 00:14:03 Okay. You're on Kari. I'm going for Kyrie. Kyrie hard. He's like one of the best basketball players to me. I'm not really like a, like, I don't care. Who wins as long as I'm a parley hit. Don't matter.
Starting point is 00:14:17 Whatever catches out. Don't matter. Yeah, I'm not a fan. I'm here strictly, I'm working. You're looking for the price picks. I'm here for prize picks. You're here for a price pick. Y'all need to hit me one of them codes, man.
Starting point is 00:14:29 Stop playing. It's cool. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, let's do it. Yeah. I'm on prize picks for sure. What is it? What's like your game of choice to bet on then? I'm everything.
Starting point is 00:14:39 Everywhere? I'm on Google, Google and tennis. Like, who is this guy? Yeah, like, what he got going on? I'm trying to follow him on Instagram, seeing you a good guy. What you do last week? Like, I mean, you know what I'm saying? Exactly.
Starting point is 00:14:52 Outside, I ain't betting on here. Man, well, you're off what? Sometimes you got to bet on them when they're outside, though. Just rob me. Just know when you started, like, betting on, like, Korean baseball games, you've probably gone too far. You might need to call the number. I'm going too far. I'm going too far.
Starting point is 00:15:06 I've gone too far. I'm going way too far. Shout up to Caleb, man. Hey, Vic, you bet on Korean. No, I had a homie. Actually, I should say a former homie that ended up having a lot of trouble. Oh, I know that's how amazing. And he started telling me like, yeah, bro, I'm just waiting for this, you know, Korean
Starting point is 00:15:25 baseball to be over. And I'm like, bro, like, what do you mean? I'm like, one, it's one o'clock in the morning. Yeah, you got to stay up to watch the games. And I'm like, I think you might need to call a number, bro. Like, you've got to go too far. You know, you're telling me about these teams I've never heard of. The fact you're available?
Starting point is 00:15:41 Yes. I'm going to ask, like, what's the most random sport you've bet on? Or you've, uh... Just what, not, not me personally. I'm not really into it. I just play price picks as well. That's go. Code power.
Starting point is 00:15:50 But no, like, there's literally, you can bet, like, on halves. So you can bet, like, on, you want this person to, like, do, like, a half. Like, a half? Like, not even, like, a full game. You were like, okay, I think they're going to do this and this, in this half. That's it. It gets very, like, specific. That's crazy.
Starting point is 00:16:08 That's crazy. Very detailed, yeah. And then, yeah, there's just a bunch of. the things you could do but Kaelin is finding every single way yeah yeah he's like I look him up I see what they're doing see what they're outside he even said he bets on cricket cricket wow and that's the craziest thing I've never heard I've never heard like I don't
Starting point is 00:16:25 know how to even score that game I bet on horses because my dad loves yeah that's cool yeah that's common yeah and I definitely go by the name because they all have like like Tropic Thunder and like they have like different funny names yeah and I go off that but I'm assuming it's like that you're like oh who has a cool name who's playing here? I know nothing about the sport. What have you bet on? See who gets picked up on fig first.
Starting point is 00:16:48 Oh my God. Why are you there? What do you win? Who do you bet win? My homie? I think she's going to get picked up first. You just sit in the parking line and you're just watching. There's good food on fig.
Starting point is 00:17:03 All right, man. That's your friend. You're a mentor. We got to have a conversation, man. Tell me what's over under. He's done that. All right. That was your word on.
Starting point is 00:17:13 That was your word on Rose Cranes. I'm Rose Cranesvik for Brownback Mornings. I'm Power 106. What's up? This is Be Real from Cypress Hill. Where are you from, Esa? Don't you know I'm local? The face of unemployment is wearing an L.A. hat, everybody.
Starting point is 00:17:29 What? Greg? Are you wearing an L.A. Not wearing an L. Okay. It's all perspective. Entrepreneur. Federal data has shown that California.
Starting point is 00:17:41 has had the most jobs lost in the nation since the beginning of this year. Okay, nearly 483,000 California residents lost their jobs in just the first quarter of this year. That's January through March, dog. We down bad. Three months? It's bad. The first three months of the year, that's a quarter, brother. Jesus.
Starting point is 00:17:59 Don't be fireable right now. Yeah, that's funny. No. The unemployment rate, it's all that high stuff. We got one of the biggest unemployment rates in the nation in the Los Angeles, Long Beach, Anaheim area. Oh, wow. Yeah, yeah, yeah. We all in there together.
Starting point is 00:18:12 Unemployment rate is 4.9%. Not a lot. I don't know what that means, but it's a lot. Yeah. It's bad right now. I know so many people that, like, had good jobs that are just unemployed. And are just waiting for, like, the next good job because they don't want to, like, do something that they feel like they just know how to do. You know, like, they're just doing it to do it.
Starting point is 00:18:34 Like, overqualified for, you know what I'm saying? So, like, there's so many people. I feel so bad at all the. The unemployment. Yeah. You sound like a politician. Yeah. So bad at all.
Starting point is 00:18:45 No, but I didn't promise change, so I'm not like that. All right. The biggest, I guess, area of unemployment is California's tech and information sector. You know all these tech jobs? IT. No. Which thing? It's the AI.
Starting point is 00:19:00 It is. They created their own replacement. It'd be like that. Smart fool. Yeah, see, they should have held out. Use your fault. You got a milk. You created the ultimate nerd
Starting point is 00:19:12 And that nerd took you out the job Yeah It's your fault you're there because Nerd Just kidding No, it's it does suck But also it's just perspective Like now you just have a lot of open time
Starting point is 00:19:23 You know you have free time You can like Yeah no job and no money Go to the park Go outside Stop looking at that blue screen Yeah Yeah
Starting point is 00:19:31 You know Go for a hike Like California's beautiful I just started my friends at IT And he doesn't have a job right now He was in IT He had a great job Didn't he had a great job
Starting point is 00:19:39 He had all types of stuff. Nice house and everything, too. So apparently, like, Tesla has had major layoffs. There's one of the companies in their tech center and all that stuff, right? 2,700 Bay Area employees, man. And that's where, like, rent is the most expensive. Sheesh. eBay.
Starting point is 00:19:59 eBay kind of makes sense. I don't know eBay was used like that still, but it's eliminated thousands of positions. Google. Huh. Yeah. And I always wonder, like, okay, if you worked at Google, Where are you going next? Like, it's like, there's not really another Google.
Starting point is 00:20:13 No. You know what I'm saying? That you can go to. It gives Google to find another job. Wow. They're Googling another job. Oh! They have to use a Yahoo browser after that.
Starting point is 00:20:24 I'm sick. Oh. I'm sick. You're like, just Google new jobs. Oh. Oh. I designed this programming. Brug, losing your jobs from Google would hurt.
Starting point is 00:20:37 Yeah. Or like Tesla's because they're everywhere now. You've got to be constantly. reminded of that cyber truck you help build and put in all the like cool stuff for. You feel me? Yes. No. All right well there's that. That's terrible. Just we feel your pain.
Starting point is 00:20:50 Yeah. We feel your pain. It'll get better. Maybe. Maybe. I've all been fired. Yeah. Yeah. You've been fired for Stadium? No, I quit a lot of my jobs. Entitled. Entitled. How about entitled? You quit your job? I quit a lot of jobs. A lot of them. Because there weren't for me. They were not for me. This was for me right here. You got to fire me. You got fire me. You got fired me. You got to buy me.
Starting point is 00:21:11 I ain't going. I'm here. You stuck with me. Until I see HR. Exactly. Got to do that little speech? You stuck with me. I'm going to stick around.
Starting point is 00:21:21 All right. Well, keep it here. We know you got time. Yeah. Spanish. Alas number of hip hop. Buenos dejas. Paro 106, brown back mornings.
Starting point is 00:21:29 Buenos Aires. Good morning. Good morning. And you and you and even you. Good morning. We got shoutouts. We got a lot of shoutouts. Ivan from Sweet Home.
Starting point is 00:21:39 Alabama. Sweet home Alabama. What's up, Ivan? Why? Why you want to shout Ivan out? He wants to shout his wife, Leticia. Oh, yeah. So if you were tapped into the Homi Helpline yesterday, we got a call later on in the Homi Helpline, this dude, Ivan from Alabama, and that was tight. He's from, his family's from Waxaca, made their way over to Alabama, and they have just the coolest accent. He did the Pledge of Allegiance for us. He did. I pledged allegiance. We're like, what made you tap into? He's like, because I was looking for a Mexican podcast, and then I like listening to what I hear. But he also said he has a toxic wife.
Starting point is 00:22:14 Her name is Letty. Wow. It's totally a coincidence, okay? It just so happens that her and I are toxic at the same time. I know no other letty out there listening is toxic. Okay. No other letty listening out there. It's just me, her, and fast and furious.
Starting point is 00:22:32 Okay. She was even toxic in that movie. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. What? No, she wasn't. She wasn't.
Starting point is 00:22:38 Yeah. How are you going to die and come back after I have a happy family? Bruh! He had a whole happy family. She's just going to come back. How are you going to move out when I died? That's toxic. He thought she died.
Starting point is 00:22:52 He should have never married. He loved her a lot, by the way. Dom and Letty is my relationship. They love each other. He also said, y'all got to come down to Alabama. No. No, it's the other way. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:23:05 We go over there. I don't know. I don't have to accept us over there. But he was really amazing. And then we looked for him because he don't, his wife is toxic. He don't let him have social. So we found his wife. And then we saw a little picture of them.
Starting point is 00:23:21 Yeah. Cute little guys. Yeah. They look like a happy couple. Bigots Ivan and Letty. Elia wants to give a shout out to her daughter, Natalie Marie. They listen every single morning. What's up?
Starting point is 00:23:31 Rosie wants to give a shout out to her daughter, Diana. She is officially double digits. She turned 10. Wow. Come on, Diana. Yeah, you got this, Momacita. She listens every morning. And then at T.D.Rod on Instagram says,
Starting point is 00:23:43 Ola, Angie. I'm a teacher in Santa Ana. I'm born and raised, and I got Teacher of the Year. Also, if I can get a shout-out to my four-year-old daughter, they love listening to us every morning. Wow. Teacher of the Year. Teacher of the Year.
Starting point is 00:23:55 That's a big deal. Yes. I wonder what school, because she didn't put in what school. She did see at me. Yeah. It's a girl or a guy? That's a girl. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:24:02 Why you say what a D-Boase? I don't know. You hear that? You're like, oh, it's a guy. Oh, Enjue. Say you like a girl. Say you like a girl. Oh, la, Angie.
Starting point is 00:24:12 Hello, I'm sorry Dora. Santa Ana. Can you say, oh, see? Can you say teacher of the year? Shout out to you for being a good teacher. Yeah. Yeah, I got a couple of shout-outs as well. Shout out my guy, Rootch Dog, Rootie.
Starting point is 00:24:28 What's up, Rootie? He says he listens every single morning. Oh, thank you. Yes, and I was just happy to know that he's up that early. So shout out to you, Roche. Early break. Appreciate you. And also, a bunch of him.
Starting point is 00:24:38 a bunch of birthday shoutouts. I got a shout out to Maribel. Michis and Chi-Chi's, as you guys may know her. She's called in before. Yeah. Yeah. My dad's girlfriend. We said that name.
Starting point is 00:24:48 We said it before. No. Okay. What? All right. You didn't hear that? You didn't hear that? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:53 It's her birthday. Yeah. It's also her son Jacob's birthday. They share a birthday. Okay. Yes. And you're a step brother. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:00 I never thought about it like that. Yeah. She's dating your dad. And then shout to Jacob. Exactly. And my niece, Gia, it's her second birthday. It's her second birthday. Happy birthday to Gia. Bigot to Bree.
Starting point is 00:25:17 Yes. Yes. Yes, my sister and her boyfriend are about to have another baby. They might have the same birthday. Oh, my God. Or like one day away. Gia's going to hate that later. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:29 They're going to hate that they have to share birthday. And granted, it's just more cost-efficient. You guys are just kind of having to figure out. All that once. But, okay, so Gia will be two years. She's two today. She's going to be two years older than her sister. sister, watch what happens around Kinsenera time.
Starting point is 00:25:40 Oh. They're going to like, hey, you're not going to have a Kinsek because you're going to have a sweet 16. Yeah, like it's going to be a little. Yeah, one of them is going to have to compromise. It's always a second one. That's going to be, yeah. You think so? Yeah, because she's going to want her own stuff.
Starting point is 00:25:53 Oh, yeah. Now she has to have a turn-tale party and a princess party for her little sister. You know what I'm saying? That's how my middle brother was because we and him are only like six days apart. Oh, so they always celebrated my birthday. Yeah, he hated it so much when we're younger. That's like he was spitting your drink. I got another birthday.
Starting point is 00:26:08 Shoutout. Hugo wants to give his daughter, Madeline, a birthday shout-out from Huntington Beach. Okay. Huntington Beach and all you guys checked in. Okay. It's my town not yours. That's that one, right? Yeah. It's that.
Starting point is 00:26:21 What was that? It was going wild. Yeah. It was like a rally or something. Yeah. Yeah. The Trump rallies. Crazy.
Starting point is 00:26:27 It's not your. Shout out. Shout out. Yeah. All right. Check this out, homie. You need a homie or need some help. We need your help.
Starting point is 00:26:36 We need a line. I mean. We got you for the homie helpline. Brittany really needs our help. So bad that she sent us everybody. She sent everybody in this room an email. Wow. Copied everybody.
Starting point is 00:26:49 Yeah, she did. She emailed us. Usually we take DMs. If you have a homie helpline that you need us to like just talk and joke about you. Brownback Mornings 106 on Instagram. But she really wanted it. If you sent an email, I'm going to take this so much more serious. Wow.
Starting point is 00:27:03 This is it. We're investigators. There's a signature at the end. Yes. Damn. Who am I make a concern? Yes. All right.
Starting point is 00:27:10 So she said, Hey, Brownback, need some help here. I have a younger sibling who is always creating drama for the family and always making things about her.
Starting point is 00:27:18 She said, for Mother's Day, I'm now a mom along with my other sister and, of course, our mom. She doesn't have any kids yet, so not a mom
Starting point is 00:27:25 slash day isn't about her. She did no planning for our mom for Mother's Day whatsoever and relied on me to see how we were going to celebrate our mom. I had reservations, I had made reservations for dinner and invited her to join us. She said she would be there.
Starting point is 00:27:42 Two days before Mother's Day, she asked if she can bring her boyfriend. I called the restaurant to Adam in and they said adding one more person would break up into two tables, one big one and one small one. Being that I made the plans and I'm a mom, I wanted a seat at the main table. And I feel that all the other moms in the party should also get a seat at the main table. They are a guest of honor. Am I wrong to have asked her to sit at the small slash B table since she isn't a mom didn't plan and her plus one is the one who divided us? It caused this huge fight and ruin my mom's mother's day, which was supposed to be about her and making her feel special. Was it wrong of me to ask this?
Starting point is 00:28:25 Please send advice brown bag. Was it wrong of her to ask her sister to sit at the other table, not the mom table? Yeah. There's mom tables now? Well, I'm assuming for Mother's Day. This restaurant. Yeah. You're talking like a little kid, like a little brother.
Starting point is 00:28:39 What do you mean a mom table? Yeah, like they had like... There wasn't supposed to be a mom table. It was supposed to be a full table. But because you added somebody, now they split the tables. So they're like, all right, let's give the moms their own table. And they asked her to sit with her guests at the other table. So all the moms are just in one table and all the other guests are one table.
Starting point is 00:28:55 It was only like a couple other people. I'm so annoyed already at her. That's... At the sister. At the sister. Why bring her boyfriend? Like, if he's like made it more. complicated like hey just sit this one out it's about my mom yeah yeah this is about our mom
Starting point is 00:29:08 doesn't he have a mom yeah where you're your mom at yeah you're on the kids I don't know I don't know just the whole separating the whole moms and it's not her bad she didn't she didn't choose that she already made reservations let's get this straight she didn't choose two tables the restaurant said hey if you're adding someone else which I know like because you're adding to your reservation you have to split the tables it's yeah that's fine that's probably but why is it weird that all the moms are just on one table because they're the guests of honor Yeah. They want to be together. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:36 And there's always like there's the one table that they really made up. And then there's like one that's like probably they added a table. They got this, that's a little wonky. Oh, yeah. You got like it's Mother's Day. You know, let the mom sit at the table that was low-key meant for you guys. Yeah. Because her sister's the one ruining the plans.
Starting point is 00:29:52 So you want to ruin the plans? Go sit at the other table. Yeah, go sit with your men over there. Yeah. So she just feels like her sister likes to make these types of days about her. She's probably had other instances. Yes. where her sister has kind of stepped in or stepped on the holiday.
Starting point is 00:30:06 And I think we all can relate to that. Either your holiday has been stepped on by someone in the family or you're the stepper honor. You're the stepper honor. The stepper on everybody's steper. That's me right there. It's about you. I know it's about, bro.
Starting point is 00:30:18 I'm not even mad. I'm not even mad. Yeah. So she's just trying to figure out, is she wrong for having asked her sister? Because now it's a big problem. Her sister probably gave her attitude. The mom saw, it said that it ruined the whatever dinner for her mom.
Starting point is 00:30:32 which is supposed to be about mom, right? Yeah. So the mom didn't have a good mother's day. She didn't have a good mother's day. Just because of that? Yeah, bro. It starts with that. It starts with that.
Starting point is 00:30:42 It starts with that. Yeah. Bro, you have siblings. You know how this thing goes. Yeah. You guys start arguing and you ruin it for a baby girl Maria Konde, okay? Mm-hmm. Yeah, because you guys want to be little egos and that's why you're in.
Starting point is 00:30:53 You still live with mom and oh, you left us. You don't even feel, right? It sounds like there's been haters. How is that haters? I don't know. Something about the whole mom's at one table. and then everybody else like, no, bro, it's not about like, oh,
Starting point is 00:31:05 if it's not your day, just shut up. Like, how hard is it to be? You know how mad I get it? Do you want to be at the Kintana table when you're not in the Kintana? No. That's what it sounds like. But that's the thing,
Starting point is 00:31:14 it's not that big of a deal. It's not like, all right, you have to have separate tables. Like it's... But she's not speaking. She didn't choose for the separate table. It's a restaurant. Yeah, right.
Starting point is 00:31:21 On the strength, I'm going to just kick you out, dog, because you're on purpose. And they probably showed up late, knowing how they're acting. They probably showed up late. So it's like, oh, you get the other table. You show the plate. Or like, they had asked her, you want to help plan?
Starting point is 00:31:34 Yeah. She goes, go. She's not helping. So then she's not helpful. So then baby girls are like, all right, we have to plan something. I'm not going to not do nothing for my mom. Yeah. I did count my sister in.
Starting point is 00:31:43 You tell me a couple days before. And y'all know Mother's Day reservations? Yeah. Like, they're hard. It's not easy to get. So she makes a reservation and she's like, hey, my boyfriend's coming. Why? Well, shout out your boyfriend.
Starting point is 00:31:55 Yeah, I'm sure he's a good guy. I hope he brought flowers. but because of that, you guys are now on separate tables. Maybe I might be like, all right, then sit on that table. Like if you're going to bring it, maybe there might, you're right, maybe there might be some extra added emphasis on only moms here, y'all can sit there. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. But it didn't come out of nowhere. It's not like she showed up and that happened.
Starting point is 00:32:18 Initially, they were all supposed to be at one table. Yeah. Now, you messed. To her, she probably feels like you messed up, so now you got to deal with the hook. Right. She gave her the same energy Is how she feels She feels moated by her little sister
Starting point is 00:32:32 So she's gonna like back And then that's probably why the fight started They both can have their little valid points Yeah Why don't you want to sit by mom? Why is it this table? It's like that's the mom's table That makes sense. All the mom's there No, you're doing this because you don't want me here
Starting point is 00:32:46 Because I brought my boyfriend there Both of them are going to feel like that That's literally what I'm thinking like one of the baby Maybe you should have helped plan Yeah You got what I'm saying? Or left your boyfriend at home Yeah
Starting point is 00:32:55 It's not like he's going to pick up the tab anyway. Right? Yeah. Yeah. That's another plate right there. Mother's Day brunch is expensive. Exactly. So hit us up.
Starting point is 00:33:07 8185 to a 1005.9. And we're going to try to get a hold of a baby girl because I really do feel like this is one of many times. Oh, yeah. I feel like she has a list of things. Because us party poopers, we don't just poop one party. Yeah. It's a pattern. It's a pattern.
Starting point is 00:33:21 People are patterns. Angie, don't look at me. No, I have sisters. Oh, okay. So I relate a lot. And I remember I'm already thinking of my older sister all the time. What? What would you do?
Starting point is 00:33:30 Same thing as this. Always making it about herself. Always ruin it. Always fighting with us. Sorry. Yeah. We like the attention. All right.
Starting point is 00:33:39 Sorry. They pick like the most inconvenient days to like have outbursts. And for no reason. Like they'll be fighting for food. It's not inconvenient. It's the holidays. Yeah. Specialist days.
Starting point is 00:33:49 Yeah. The specialist days. See, that's what makes me. We'll make a memorable. Ah. I'm getting mad already. It's because you guys are like older and middle children. You're the little one?
Starting point is 00:33:58 Yeah, I'm the youngest. I'm the youngest. I'm the youngest. I'm like, wow. All right, hit it's up. 818, 52059. Little children only. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:07 Youngest only. I don't want to hear from none of you older kids. I want some mature people to call in and give their reasons as to why the younger siblings are terrible. It's like, wow, that big gift's not for me. That's crazy. That's crazy. Watch you start a fire!
Starting point is 00:34:21 Keep me here is 5106. LA's their more for hip hip hip hip hip hip. Buenos Dias Los Angeles. Come on. All right, check this out, homie. You need a homie or need some help. We need your help. We need a line. I mean, phone line.
Starting point is 00:34:33 We got you for the homie help line. Brittany needs our help. Oh, Britney. Brittany is the sibling that has a younger sibling, and the younger siblings always creating drama for the mom, the whole family, making it about her. It's not her day. Recently, they had mothers.
Starting point is 00:34:54 Day, Brittany organized the whole dinner, made reservations. And then last minute, her younger sister decided to invite her boyfriend, making it too many people at the table that had to split up the table. And it caused the whole drama ruined the mom's mother's day. Drama for the mama. And so she's wondering if it was bad of her, was it wrong of her to essentially send her to the other table, the small table. And I know that she was mad because in this, she says a word, I can't repeat.
Starting point is 00:35:24 about what table she sat at. See? The sisters being a hater, the older sister. No, she's probably spread up. She switched up the plans. Yeah. Yeah. So she needs to.
Starting point is 00:35:34 Bro, if I'm hitting you, Greg, hey, we got to plan this. We got to plan this. Yeah, I'll be there. I'll be there. And then you don't plan it at all. So I'm like, all right, I'm just going to plan it myself, right? And I plan for X amount of people. And then the day before you're like, hey, so-and-so's coming.
Starting point is 00:35:47 I'm like, all right, bro. So you're going to go to the table that doesn't have a tablecloth or whatever. But it's because you are not. No, but it's because you are not. No, but it's because I didn't have time to plan. I was literally hitting you for it. You're not going to blame the girl that planned this. I feel really bad for her.
Starting point is 00:36:00 Yeah. Like, she was really trying to do something for her mom. You come in with a little, little, oh, yeah, ha, ha. You're just cute. You're probably the favorite. Like, oh, you should know this. This is how I am. Oh, so much traffic.
Starting point is 00:36:12 Yeah. Huh, brought my man. You guys got her flowers. Okay, good. Yeah. Right. Put my name on it. Right.
Starting point is 00:36:18 Mom, I love you, mom. You could tell. Yes. That's how she is. And then she gets upset. So there's a table The party guys split in two tables Baby girl is like look
Starting point is 00:36:29 We're gonna have all the moms on one table She seems like the one that's like delegating stuff Yeah she's like the second mom probably Yeah she's like we're gonna have the mom's this table Can you sit on that table because they split us up because you guys came No why they got to split this up you're doing this on purpose Blah blah blah blah blah I get this now
Starting point is 00:36:46 So Brittany's probably like the second mom And then the younger siblings like you're not my mom Stop trying to act like that You're embarrassing You should have put in to help out for your mom. All right. But let's take you to the phone lines. And then we look, you had another little discussion on the side, but I know the colors are going to, you guys kind of feel the same way as I'm looking at the color notes.
Starting point is 00:37:05 So I'm going to let the colors bring it up. Okay, so we got Amber from Linwood on the line. Amber. Amber. Yes. What's up, Amber? Hey, good morning. Good morning.
Starting point is 00:37:18 Good morning. Talk to us, Amber. What would you tell Brittany? So I would tell her, honestly, like, it's not even, like, I don't think she should feel, like, any type of way. I think it's, I think it's her sister's fault. Like, why bring your boyfriend? Like, you guys said, doesn't the boyfriend have a mom? And if the boyfriend didn't have a mom, like, he should have respected it and been, like, hey, you know what?
Starting point is 00:37:41 Like, this is Mother's Day, you know. I don't want to break up the table. Yeah. Yeah, I don't want to break up the table. You know, your sister got reservations already. like why do that you know like it and then why get mad if you have to go sit on the other table with your boyfriend like it's not like oh hey he she sent the boyfriend to the other table and she's sitting with her mom like no she she has to go to her boyfriend she's the one to invite him
Starting point is 00:38:07 yeah like nobody i'm i'm assuming that nobody else had their you know other yeah probably not yeah and they're probably in serious relationships it has to be with mother's day it's not bring your boyfriend day or you know like it's mother's day you and then and then not only that like she killed her mom's mother's day like mothers you know us mothers we wait for that all year long you know so we can go have you know enjoy our dinner lunch breakfast whatever you choose to pick and enjoy it with our kids you know that we birth and you know and then you all start fighting and remind me yeah and then they start fighting and then it's like if it was me I would have just left the table I would have just left.
Starting point is 00:38:50 Yeah, the mom did. And for Britney, you know, Britney did all this reservations and stuff. And, you know, reservation sometimes it's hard to get. Especially on Mother's Day. Yeah, you got to put a car down. And then it's expensive, the place, you know, and stuff like that. And she did this on her own.
Starting point is 00:39:06 And I'm pretty sure Britney paid for it. Yeah. Probably. Amber, who's the sister in your life? Yeah, she carried out. I have a bunch of cousins and my kids are the same way. They all fight. They all fight on who's the sister.
Starting point is 00:39:18 better who does what and it's like you guys are all the same like there's no you know i have love for all you guys all the same i don't have no favorite you guys every every person is different when you have more than one kid you have there's all different personality yeah yeah so it's you have to love them regardless on how they are but i feel like rich little sister's the troublemaker yep same as a little sister troublemaker myself Okay. You guys, we were talking about this, and Amber did bring it up.
Starting point is 00:39:54 That it's bringing the boyfriend. Yes. That is the issue, right? I didn't even think of bringing the boyfriend as the issue. Yeah. And then I'm like, who brings their boyfriend, their partner to Mom's Mother's Day, right? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:40:05 And then you guys started doing some admissions, right? Did some deep diving. KPWR Los Angeles, Power 106, LA's number one for hip-hop. And what are those admissions? Yeah, so the way that my mom met my ex-girlfriend was Mother's Day. I decided to introduce her to my mom on Mother's Day.
Starting point is 00:40:22 Why? What made you decide that? I'm the youngest one. Because Amber brings up a great point. He's fighting so hard. He's fighting so hard for him. He sees himself. What's the problem? Why does he have to sit there?
Starting point is 00:40:31 I didn't see no problem with it. I was like, all right, yeah, come meet my mom on Mother's Day. Like, she came over and it was kind of awkward at first now that I'm realizing. Yeah. Right. Yeah. I ended up in a four-year relationship. It worked out.
Starting point is 00:40:42 It worked out. Yeah. Did it, though? But there could have been other days. Could have been Monday. It could have been some Monday. It could have been another Sunday. Doug.
Starting point is 00:40:49 Yeah. Because I think she went with her mom for a bit and then left her moms and went with my love. Y'all need to stop ruining our days, please. Yeah. Because now that, it's not Mother's and Girlfriend's Day. Yeah. But you, Angie, you ruined. Okay.
Starting point is 00:41:01 It was his mom's birthday. It was her birthday. The way that I met Marcus's parents, like his whole family was his mom's birthday at a restaurant. And his thing was like, it was him. He invited me. His day was just like, well, it's going to be less awkward, you know? Like people are going to be talking, you're going to be eating, so you don't have to talk to her as much. Oh, no.
Starting point is 00:41:23 So he was looking out for me, right? No. That's my baby. In the back of her. Yes. He's trying to have, like, have it all, essentially. But it's kind of like speeding it up to where it's like maybe could wait a day or two, you know. But it was like I get where I've done similar things.
Starting point is 00:41:41 You know what I'm saying? So like all the time, like any, no holiday is safe with me at this point. Right. What did you do? You don't know which one. you're gonna get with me yeah like what did you like you might see what yeah i'll bring like a girl i'm dating at the time to like i don't know not not like okay i have like a little limit like a theory like not for example like thanksgiving okay not like during dinner right but like after we're kicking it like all right
Starting point is 00:42:05 you could come oh you know what i'll be like that like you because you know how both of you invite like you were invited to your your boyfriend's mom's birthday and then gregg you invited your girlfriend to mother's day yeah do you give moms a heads up no do you do you do you give moms a heads up no Did Marcus give his mama heads up? No. I don't even know. Do you give your family a heads up when you walk in? Yeah, like five minute heads up.
Starting point is 00:42:29 You're annoying. Probably Marcus is the same thing. Hey, son-so's on the way. I walked in with her with flowers. You know, no respect for the lady. She made me stop and get flowers from my mom because she was like, oh, let's get her flowers. Her patio? Yeah, pario.
Starting point is 00:42:42 She hits you too? No, it's cut. Cut you? Yeah. She cut you too? Only my mom cut me? Part is okay I'm in half
Starting point is 00:42:51 My mom texting me right now She was like I would want my baby To sit right next to me At the dinner table Is that you? She's so sweet girls Yeah I know you love Maria
Starting point is 00:43:00 I know you love Maria I love him too You're her baby Okay Let's go to Jessica from Baldwin Park Jessica Jessica Yesica
Starting point is 00:43:07 Yes What's up Jess Baldwin Park Hey good morning Hi Jessica What would you tell Brittany Her sister ruins all of the holidays and she just had Mother's Day and her sister that wasn't planning in part of
Starting point is 00:43:22 any of the planning she kept trying to get her to help plan she wouldn't so she so briny makes a reservation for a certain number of people at a restaurant then a couple of days before her sister's like oh by the way I'm going and I'm bringing my boyfriend and so brittney tried to call the restaurant to change and they're like no we just got to split up into two tables if that's the case we're trying to accommodate so she asked her sister hey can you sit in one table and then the mom sit and the other table, especially because it's your, you're kind of the reason why
Starting point is 00:43:50 they're even splitting us in the first place because you invited your man. She wants to know if she's wrong for having done that. Because her sister and her got in a fight, mom got upset, ruined her Mother's Day. I don't think she should feel bad about telling her. I'm the oldest from five, and sometimes we kind of have those similar situations
Starting point is 00:44:11 about, like, the boyfriend coming in and, like, people being added on to the parties. when we all go out in general. So it usually becomes a problem where we usually start fighting in between each other. But at the end of the day, you can have to put, like, cool the young one to the side and let her know, like, hey, if you're not helping out or you don't let me know, you're going to have to suck it up. And, sorry. And sit right there in the corner with all the little kids because it was a mom's day. So it should be just the mom's in the table.
Starting point is 00:44:42 She shouldn't feel some type of way. Like the previous caller said, sometimes it's like how they added towards the, oh, I'm sorry, I got on nervous. Don't worry, don't be nervous. We're just super cool. She shouldn't be able to say anything if they're going to celebrate the mom's day. I feel the same way. You're an older sister, too. There's a lot of younger siblings.
Starting point is 00:45:11 There's a lot of younger siblings. They're like, get over it. Sibling. Yeah. You had mom first. Yeah. You had all this time. Okay, we got Tony from La Habra on the line.
Starting point is 00:45:22 Tony. Tony. Tony? No, Tori. Tori. Tori. What's up, Tori? What's up, Tori?
Starting point is 00:45:30 Tori, talk to us. Because you are on the sister side. Your sister, and I've got a, you know, a little bit of a wild younger sister. But you know what? one she did not say she said you said bigger table and smaller table you didn't say only the mom she didn't say if she let her husband or anybody else's husband I feel like she could have said all the men go to that little table and come on you can be a part of the big one two as somebody without a child she could have found a better way to not throw it I feel like
Starting point is 00:46:12 she would have known after all these years if you want to take the low blue Oh, hey girl, you don't have a kid. Go sit at the small table. But I do agree. I do agree that it could have been an easier situation if he just chose not to come or she just said, you sit this one out. Right.
Starting point is 00:46:30 I agree on that. I feel like both of them have their... But even on her side, it's like we're not the ones that made the smaller table even exist. So they're going like, hey, you guys made it even a thing so you guys go sit over there. And I think, this is my theory. I think Brittany didn't probably share that she was going to sit at another table, probably until they got there.
Starting point is 00:46:52 Yeah. I don't think she gave her a heads up like, oh, yeah, like, actually you're going to have to sit over here. She was probably like, oh, no, it's fine. Don't worry about nothing. I got it. And then, like, when she got there, she was like, oh, yeah, actually, you're going to have to sit over there with your boyfriend. You know what? As older sister, as elder sister, you've got to be aware of these things.
Starting point is 00:47:09 You got to let them know ahead of time. You can't be throwing it out last minute and be shocked that you're wild younger. But the younger sister did it last minute, and she told her. That's so crazy. Yeah, yeah, yeah. No, I get you. But you're an older sister saying the older sister should just plan for everything. You should plan for the boyfriend to come.
Starting point is 00:47:26 You should plan for there to be a fire. You should plan for a chair to go missing. You should plan for your mom to not know what to wear. Why are we worried about the younger sibling on Mother's Day? Mother's Day. If you're going to wrap yourself as the most responsible one to the world, then you should be a little extra planning. Sorry.
Starting point is 00:47:44 Tori. Yeah. I like it. I like it. You're not the older sister. Ask your parents if they had kids before you. You're not actually like an older sister. No, no, no, no.
Starting point is 00:47:53 Ask your dad. Ask your dad. Ask your dad if there was any kids you should, you should know about. There was a missing link somewhere. You're acting very middle child. You're acting very middle child. I want to know if the older sister's like baby daddy and be sitting at that table too, the separate table.
Starting point is 00:48:07 That's not what she said. You guys are adding to it. Bro. What are you adding to? What do you mean? In the, in the email, I don't even. things she said other people were going besides moms. They put moms at the mom's table.
Starting point is 00:48:19 They didn't say moms and men. Mom's table. I was about to say if the baby daddy sitting at that table too. You're like, what if there was an alien from Las Vegas sitting down? There's no alien. There are it. That was proven true. Angelica.
Starting point is 00:48:30 I know. Okay. Michael from Los Angeles. Michael. What's up? What's up? What's up? Michael. Talk to us. What would you tell Brittany about her sister and her
Starting point is 00:48:40 man, her sister's man? I mean, it's the boy. friend fault. Come on, Michael. Speak to it. It's a boyfriend foul because he should have known, like, it's Mother's Day. Like, and I don't know, I'm not, I'm not speaking on, like, his life if he, you know, has a mom or not, whatever the case is, but I think he should have taken the back feet on this one and just let, you know, his girlfriend, her sisters and whomever, like, enjoy, you know, Mother's Day, how they're going to enjoy it because he was the reason why the table got split up. And if it's just a
Starting point is 00:49:09 restaurant that's saying, hey, we don't have a last separate table available for you guys, then we have to split it into two. Then I do also agree that the sisters should have like just informed her sister because I'm a brother and I'm a sibling of nine. Sheesh, Michael. Yeah, so I'm a second oldest. I'm like the level-headed one when it comes to like these kind of situation. And I'm like the planner for everything.
Starting point is 00:49:36 And like Tori just said, like you've got to have the plan for everything. You got to have to plan that, you know, your sister or your brother's going to their significant other. But at the end of the day, the boyfriend should have took a back seat. The little sister should have understood that it was a mom's day. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:49:51 And, you know, they should have just, they should have just kept it about the mom. And it's unfortunate that he got ruined for her. You know, because he may not want to ever do something like that again. They have to think about that as well, too. Yeah, they never want to do it, but then they still do it. Because Angie's mom always says, like, what's your mom say when it gets ruined?
Starting point is 00:50:06 What is your mom say? When the days get ruined. You literally just told us off there. You just said, I'm just partying. Yeah, she's like, I'm part of my Corazon, no I can't eat. You guys broke my heart. I can't eat.
Starting point is 00:50:20 Part of my heart is missing because my guys don't get along. That's my mom. Michael, which one of your siblings ruins it? It would happen to my brother that lives in Vegas. Oh. He's so far.
Starting point is 00:50:33 He got exiled to Vegas or right? Yeah. Well, I mean, yeah, he made the choice to move to Vegas. Like nobody told him to, you know, stay out there and all of his family lived out here. So when we have
Starting point is 00:50:42 our family gatherings, we do it like once a month where we do like game nights or we do like a park day or McGrath to eat. You know, he can't ever make it. And, you know, he's in our group chat so he gets informed about these things like, you know, months and advance. He's just stooing with evil anger.
Starting point is 00:50:58 He gets all the pictures. You guys send the pictures to the group chat. He's never in any of them. Take him out of the family night group chat. That's horrible. Michael, that's your fault. No, we tried that too, and he still got upset. So he wants to be informed and like, you know, we want to give him the opportunity.
Starting point is 00:51:18 Even if we're planning stuff like, you know, four months, six months ahead, want to give him the opportunity to like make the necessary arrangements. But, you know, he doesn't or last money, he's like, oh, I can't go. Yeah. You know, we respect it and we say, you know, it's all good. Don't worry about it. You know, we've even tried to do something in Vegas. Yeah, make plans to go out there with him, like, during the summer or during the winter for, like, Christmas.
Starting point is 00:51:41 and like, you know, he's like going through his, you know, going through his things and, you know, it never works out. So, and again, we understand we know life happens and we don't get butt hurt, you know, if he can't make it to, you know, graduation or, you know, a big birthday party or things like that. So then how does he ruin it? It seems like you guys ruin it for him. Yeah. How does he ruin it? So left out. Well, I mean, he, he ruins it by just like, you know, these ablimate posts on, like,
Starting point is 00:52:11 Social media. Oh, he popped on social media. Subtweedy. He said you talk about family. Yeah. Yeah. He says, Not all family.
Starting point is 00:52:19 Not all family is blood. It's blood. It's blood. What's a subpost that you've seen? I know it's a quote. I mean, some of this, like, they're usually pretty much like similar. Like, you know, the only ones that matter is like the ones that's with me right here.
Starting point is 00:52:38 Oh. Oh. Oh, my real family right here right now. Keep my circle small. Yeah. Oh, that's great. Yeah, I tune that one too. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:52:54 That's great. Michael, he just has a severe case of fomo. Yeah. He's taking it out on you guys. Like, we got Brandy from Pekoyama on the line. Hey, Brandy. Good morning. Good morning.
Starting point is 00:53:04 What's up, Brandy? Brandy, what was your solution to the situation for Brittany? The solution was to I'm kind of mean I don't even think I would have invited to sister I like her That's Pacas right there That's Pacta right there
Starting point is 00:53:21 You wouldn't even invited her Because she doesn't have a kid or because she just ruins everything Why? Not because she doesn't have a kid Because she ruins everything And I just kind of feel that If she wasn't even initiating She wasn't helping for the mom, right?
Starting point is 00:53:39 Or if she didn't even, you know, like maybe even inviting the mom prior and then like, I don't know. And I think sometimes depending on the felt-be situation, people tend to do their own things. Like, or the lack of communication, I mean. Yeah. Like Brandy, how would you tell her? She hits you up two days before. Hey, so I'm going to go and I'm going to take my man. I would have been like, well, I don't have to call to see.
Starting point is 00:54:06 if he's even able to, if I can add to the reservation. And then you wouldn't even call to the reservation. You'd be like, hey, they said it's booked. Last minute. My bad. Maybe you could see her after. Probably. And you can make her own plans to last.
Starting point is 00:54:17 Yeah, maybe you can make your own plans. To see your mother. I like that, Brenda. Not going to laugh. Hey, Brittany, look at it this way. You feel like crap for what you did. It could be worse. You couldn't have invited her at all.
Starting point is 00:54:28 True. Not inviting your sibling. You see her mom on Mother's Day? No, but I'm trying to help. Brittany. Yeah. It's her mom, too. You can make plans.
Starting point is 00:54:35 You're grown as you're being. Yeah. There's three meals a day. It could have been worse. You could have not invited her. You could have been a worse person. You could have been like brandy for Pokemon. And then she would have been like Michael's brother and been like not all family is family on Instagram.
Starting point is 00:54:50 Keep a circle small. Boom. You're welcome. We have helped you. Okay. Sambra Sala with Angie. Okay. This one is wild.
Starting point is 00:55:03 What happened? Normally Taylor Swift's always making headlines because Travis Kelsey, her making out and all that stuff. Right? No. She's like one of the greatest of all times. I don't know about that. I don't know about that. She is.
Starting point is 00:55:16 You don't have to know about that. The world's about that. Duh. But Beyonce had one of the, no, my. No, yeah. Let's not peep.
Starting point is 00:55:23 Beyonce and Taylor are home girls. See what you're doing, splitting girls apart. Men. Why got to be one better than the other. Wow. I thought you were not like. I'm an ally.
Starting point is 00:55:33 I'm an ally. Yeah. Okay, no, but this time it's not her fault. Because Homegirl, Taylor, if she's out here doing. concert she's out in Paris. Yeah. But there's like a picture going around and it's a baby on the floor in the middle of her concert.
Starting point is 00:55:48 What? Someone brought their baby and I kid you, Nogletti, a baby like maybe seven, nine months old. No way. No, that looked like a six, four to six. Weeks. Oh, months, months, months, months, month. It's little. Yeah, a little.
Starting point is 00:56:01 You know when the babies are like, they have the baby fat on the show like one of those babies. When they should be at home and not a concert? Yeah. Yeah. Definitely can't hold their neck up. Definitely. And you just see the picture and the baby's like
Starting point is 00:56:12 not exactly on the ground but it's like it's on top of people's like clothes so it's on top of clothes but it's still on the ground. Nah. You cannot.
Starting point is 00:56:21 You're being fake mad right now. No, I'm not. I put my baby on the floor at a concert. Our babies have slept on jackets next to the loudspeaker at the party.
Starting point is 00:56:31 But shut up. In a carriola. Yes. No. Yes. We're chairs together. No. Oh wait.
Starting point is 00:56:37 My Tio's smelly leather jacket. No, you gotta leave him in the car seat. In the car seat. Y'all are haters. Yeah, this baby's like on hard floor. No, no, it's on top of clothes. But it's like, we're not going to put the picture because. Have you ever seen what like the crib mattress has to be?
Starting point is 00:56:52 Has to be firm. Yeah. The what? The what? The crib mattress. Oh, it has to be firm. Yeah. Oh, why?
Starting point is 00:56:58 Not this for this like concert floor. Yeah, it's concert floor. Yeah. Like there's somebody standing on top of the baby. All right. So I guess. All right. It has to be firm for a baby.
Starting point is 00:57:07 That's crazy. That's crazy. That's crazy. has taken her infant to the J-Cole concert with the little headphones, right? Okay, but you were holding them? I was holding them. Yeah, J-Col held him. You see?
Starting point is 00:57:18 You didn't put him on the floor. Now, I still just Kendrick. Get it, get it, get it, get it. No, but I'm just, on the floor is just my only issue. Yeah, me too. Sometimes you have to take the baby places, like no babysitter. I get that part. I hope you never had to put your baby on the floor.
Starting point is 00:57:32 I hope you. I did it. Floor for changing, floor for tummy. Maybe it was tummy time. Oh, but at your. It's like margaritas next to this baby on the floor. Inside of the monster. People are standing on.
Starting point is 00:57:44 People are mad at the mom. Yeah, they are. But you know what? The lady that took the picture and they went viral, she's like, don't worry, you guys. The baby did have earplugs, so, you know, it won't hurt its little ears. Ear plugs.
Starting point is 00:57:53 Everything is fine, right? You're not just put earplugs in the baby's ears. There's, like, little headphones for it. Yeah. So they're protecting the baby's ears, at least. Baby's ears will be fine. I'm not concerned with that. It's just more so that it was on the floor.
Starting point is 00:58:05 That's what I was concerned about. That's my main, like. And there's like a bunch of strangers all over. It's a concert. People can get drunk. People can fall over. When you're drunk on the floor, nobody cares. On the baby.
Starting point is 00:58:16 Yeah. Yeah. Imagine this song comes on. And then you're starting to shaking it off. Yeah. And the baby's on the floor. The baby's not on the floor by itself either, though. No.
Starting point is 00:58:25 Like, mom is hovered over it. Like, Tampocco. Mom has like a little tent over the baby. Yeah. But again, she's shaking it off to this? Yeah. What if she says in the baby? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:58:35 As a child that has been next to the speaker, when it was blasting on the hard, not even the fold-out chairs that have a little cushion. The hard ones, the medley ones. Yeah. The rusty ones. Bruh.
Starting point is 00:58:47 I know. It's okay that it's two in the morning. It's comfortable when you're tired. Your uncle's brought the guitar, okay? I'm just saying, we're being a little bit picky. I think, no, you're right, because we do do that.
Starting point is 00:59:02 But I think it's just the fact that the baby's on the floor. If it was like on chairs, then it'd be like, oh, okay, at least it's safe. What if the baby wanted to see the concert? That's selfish of the while. I just feel like she bought the tickets and did not want to miss out.
Starting point is 00:59:14 Or she probably bought the tickets before she had the baby. That's what. That's a new baby. And didn't want to miss out. And it's just like, you know what? It'll be fine, right? Yeah. I'll be able to handle it.
Starting point is 00:59:23 I don't know about that. I don't think it was that serious. The baby has a- But some people's fandom is. What is the baby? The baby has the bracelet that, like, lights up on the ones that they give on a concert. So everybody, like, it has too many. Hold that baby.
Starting point is 00:59:35 That baby. It has too many feet around it. The baby is a swiftly. All the feelings is. That baby don't like Taylor Swift. The baby does. No, he does not. All babies like Taylor Swift.
Starting point is 00:59:44 Oh, come on. And I know you guys are seeing the feet around it. Yeah. That's literally protection, fools. Protection. It's like a shield? No. It's like a little, like if I have my baby here, I'm putting it right there.
Starting point is 00:59:54 Are the bottom of their shoes soft? Yeah. Like babies? Like baby shoes? Like somebody? No, their shoes. Who shoes? The shoes that are around the baby.
Starting point is 01:00:03 Oh, that's probably her mom's shoes. You might fall and step on it. what I'm thinking. Like, when you get too hyped and if she's drinking. Somebody falls in front of you. It's just like a domino effect. Oh, no, the baby. This is crazy. Oh, God. Okay. Did anything happen
Starting point is 01:00:18 to the baby? No, nothing happened to the baby. Because somebody came up on social media. Her name is Gina. She's like, this is my cousin's baby. Yes, he's fine. Yes, he had his own ticket. No, they aren't usually this lacking in parenting. Bad moment. Chill out. The baby's
Starting point is 01:00:34 okay. Yeah. You see? No, I'm going to reverse Karen's baby. The baby gets to talk later about how they went to Taylor Swift for their first concert. That was their first concert. And they were just staring at the sky the hotel. And they had them tear away at the railing. I bet that baby enjoyed it so much. That's where I came out of it.
Starting point is 01:00:54 I bet that baby enjoyed it so, so much. I bet it didn't look like it was crying. Yeah. I was in shock. Okay, we're judging. Hey, mom, we're judging you. Boom. Yes.
Starting point is 01:01:03 Not right the weekend after Mother's Day. All they're crazy. It did happen on week. Mother's Day weekend. Oh, how dare she? She had fun. Yeah, she did. But the baby's fine.
Starting point is 01:01:12 The baby's fine. At least the baby's cool. Thanks, Andy. Yeah. All right. That's it for Somrasala. I'm Angie from Brownback mornings on Power 106.
Starting point is 01:01:18 You ever miss someone so much? Like, you annoy your friends with how much you miss them. You miss them. Talk about them all the time. You drive your friends crazy. She's not healthy for me. So much so that then your friends are like, grow, just hit her up.
Starting point is 01:01:32 Just get back with her friends on that play. No, no, no. He got to stand on business. Standing on business? Then shut up. No. Then don't bring her up. Don't be venting to us.
Starting point is 01:01:40 Yeah. Don't be like, I miss her. Oh my gosh, she's so fine. I'm like so happy to give away tickets to Bryson Tiller. I'm like, hey, we got Bryce and Tiller tickets. Shout out Bryson. Oh, no, don't shout out him. That's her favorite.
Starting point is 01:01:51 Then hit her up, bro. No, she's toxic. Then shut up. Pick one. Standing on business. Stand on business. Yep. Okay.
Starting point is 01:01:58 Part of standing on business. You send her a picture of you and Bryson Tiller. Part of standing on business, brother, respectfully is boom. Yeah. Cold turkey. He has feelings. Yeah. Since when?
Starting point is 01:02:08 All the time. Yeah. It's a good time of my life. What day you brought baby girl up five times? Who? Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. You brought her up five times. Which one?
Starting point is 01:02:18 Which one? If you ever think about hitting her up? Don't. Yeah. To me, if you miss her, that's showing you that you want to talk to her. No, I can't. That's not good. It's done on business for the big dogs.
Starting point is 01:02:31 Okay. For what big dogs? Let's see how that works out for your brother. No, because it's like, it's one of things like, I miss like donuts. Doesn't mean I need to have them. But you do. You always grab them still get them.
Starting point is 01:02:41 Yeah, you do. No. You should have. I got some donuts for you. Only once in a while. Once in a while you think about having it and it's just like, ah, like it's one of those days where you think about it. It's not good for me.
Starting point is 01:02:50 But you have to realize it's not good for you. So you don't have that donut. Just make it until tomorrow. And then you go get a fresh one somewhere else. Okay. Then stop talking about her. But you want that donut. But you can't have that donut.
Starting point is 01:03:04 You're just holding all the other donuts. It was like a limited edition donut. That donut. Oh, that donut special. He liked the way that donut. It was a seasonal donut? It had like the shape feeling. The filling.
Starting point is 01:03:17 They're being quichinos. Donuts. Bryson Taylor. And think about the person that you're not going to hit up. Either this Friday or Sunday at YouTube Theater. Does Friday remind you over or Sunday? I actually have it on my calendar. Does YouTube theater remind you over?
Starting point is 01:03:33 It was on my calendar. Okay. All right. Supposed to go. Yep. Before the edit said he, yep. No, no, no. God.
Starting point is 01:03:41 Why are you calling him a gun on his different? Br. Drake. What the... Dr. Shut up. God. Six got.
Starting point is 01:03:50 Drake. That's what he was. Surrified a lover boy. Surf by, pet, get out. I'm not going. Drake. Come on, bro. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:04:00 He's over. He's on vacation. He's on vacation. He's on vacation. He's on vacation. It's over, Drake, please. It's over, just like that girl's over you. This is Be Real from Cypress Hill.
Starting point is 01:04:12 Where are you from, Esse? Don't you know I'm local? Okay, shout out to our L.A. Dodgers. It's time for Dodger baseball. I can never get tired of that. If you were to work at Dodger Stadium, what would you want to work doing at Dodger Stadium? Don't say ball boy, Greg. That's gross.
Starting point is 01:04:34 Oh, I got my girlfriend. Okay, go, go, go. Interpreter. Pays very well. Damn. You went all out. I was going to see. I was just going to say selling the jerseys.
Starting point is 01:04:48 I make a lot of money doing those. Yeah. Greg used to work there doing them. Really? Yeah, I used to do that. Wow. What about you, Vick? It's not a hard question, Doug.
Starting point is 01:04:55 Because I'm not. You can't choose player. Definitely security in the pavilion. So you could like watch these fights and break them up. But you let them go on as long as you want. And then you'd be like, hey, we're going to break it. And see all the Dodger babes? That too.
Starting point is 01:05:06 That's what they be. Yeah. That's true. Yeah. Okay, well, one kid who's 10 years old already knows that he wants to be the organ player at Dodger Stadium. Check this out.
Starting point is 01:05:19 The organ like kind of pumps up the crowd. Like when they hit a home run, they play like. Bro, he played that. What? That is. Shout on Evan Waterson. He's a fourth grader. He's like, yeah, that's all I want to be.
Starting point is 01:05:34 Yeah. awesome. Bro. Evan, you don't even have to go to college. I feel like he's going to do it. Yeah. That's a great gig. Because the person that's been doing it for the Dodgers is a legend. They've been doing it for a long time.
Starting point is 01:05:45 Forget their name, but. It used to be Nancy B. Nancy B. Okay, that's what I'm talking about. It's a new guy and he's actually young. Okay. So that lady was doing it forever. For the longest time.
Starting point is 01:05:55 And she's a legend. So, I mean, well, the guy's 10. So this guy has, what, 40 years maybe? I don't know. Until? Yeah. Until what? He's going to take his job tomorrow.
Starting point is 01:06:04 He's really good. You get popping on Instagram and TikTok and all that. Then you guys died a rule. Roll it. I can't say his last name. Dider Ruli. And that's cool. I like this guy because he's already playing like the new stuff.
Starting point is 01:06:15 Like he's played not like us in Oregon version. To be tight. Yeah. So he knows what's going on. The new organist. Yes. Yeah. His mom was like, yeah, he just plays the organ all the time in his room.
Starting point is 01:06:24 He's playing the organ. Wow. The same thing laps up with the organ. I was like, well, I'm like, well, I'm not too. That's such a random, like, instrument, I guess, to pick up. Yeah. So I guess you learn the same way you learn piano. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:06:34 Or they initially learned piano, but I guess it's a different tune or something of that nature. I don't know. Organs have always sounded scary to me. Because da-da-da-da-dun-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d. So now, like, I think the Dodger organ, it just makes organ sound. Whatever the Dodgers do to it. Maybe it's just the setting because it's like, you're not going to be scared at Dodgers. It's like a higher pitch.
Starting point is 01:06:54 It's not a lower pitch. Because most of those scary songs are like lower pitch. So then when they do it, it's a very like, da-da-da-da-da. Let's check out how he does it. The organ, like, kind of pumps up the crowd. like when they hit hit a home run they play like oh that sounds up yeah
Starting point is 01:07:10 no charge I wonder why the organist doesn't play like creepy music when like the opposing team is up to bat I'd be scary like I play Jaws I've heard them play La Chona Really? That's cool they play everything
Starting point is 01:07:26 they play everything on the organ I never knew that was the job I thought it was just like a button and someone pressed no they got a DJ up there Oh, with the way AI is working, just saying. AI, Oregon. Don't ruin his dream.
Starting point is 01:07:39 Just kidding, little Evan. Yeah, you get it, little bit of Evan. That's great dream. What were you thinking of being at 10? I was going to win the lottery. At 10? You're not even legal too. I thought I was going to play for the Dodgers.
Starting point is 01:07:52 What a silly, silly dream. No, you can still do it. You can even bad. I thought I was going to be a radio DJ. Guess where I'm at now? Still not there. Yeah, almost. You're working.
Starting point is 01:08:03 You're working. Dreams can come true. Dreams can come true. Give me a lot of six. Ellie's number for hip-hop. Oneos Diaz. Scrolling with the homies. The homie?
Starting point is 01:08:13 Gregorio. Greig. You okay? You good? Okay. What's up? Kids Bob wants all the smoke because they made their own version of Kendra's not like us in all of the business. Who's Kendra?
Starting point is 01:08:30 Kendrick. I don't know why I didn't finish that. Yeah, you know. Kendrick's not like us. Kendrick's not like us in all of the disses that were made. There is Kids bot version. There's a Kibsop version of it. I've been waiting for this.
Starting point is 01:08:42 I've been waiting for this. True. Listen to this. I got to hear it. I love the way that you walk the way that you talk. I brought your name house in chop. Dear mommy, I won't make crust cut, mac and cheese and salami. That's so creepy.
Starting point is 01:08:57 Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, run for your life. Hey, hey, hey, hey, curfew the nine. That's a bar. I like that last one. They remixed all of his disc tracks. They remixed Heemeterreys. They remixed Meet the Grams. Meet the Grams.
Starting point is 01:09:11 That was scary. They should have never listened to that in the first place. That just showed me how scary meet the Grams is that even Kizbop version couldn't save it from being scary. No, it's still so scary. If, no, if my son never did any that asked me anything on that beat, I'm trembling. I'm like, oh my God, this is a shining all over again. Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, curfews at nine. Yeah, yeah, go, go, play, but, but, but, bye.
Starting point is 01:09:32 I love the way that you walk the way that you talk. I brought your name. Hey, that person's voice is crazy. It sounds like a little robot. Yeah, I was going to ask you, are you sure that's a little person? Like a little kid. It's a little kid. It's a real.
Starting point is 01:09:43 Keep it going. Dear mommy, I want my crust cut, mac and cheese and salami. Bruh. That is a horrible diet, by the way. How old is this kid? A little kid's about the age. Like, I think, what, eight, nine? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:09:56 It sounds so creepy. That is a problem child. Play that one again, the meet the grams kid. Dear mommy. I won't make my crows. Press cut, mac and cheese and salami. I like it. I cut you into salami.
Starting point is 01:10:09 Oh, no. That made me crazy. You got to punt that kid. Yeah. There are other remixes of it, though, too. I've seen one. I've seen some lyrics going around on Twitter. No kids actually singing it, but just people like guessing like, oh, okay, this is going
Starting point is 01:10:22 to be on the not like us version of it when they say, you wanted to get good grades. It's probably a minus. Oh, good one. And then on Euphoria, he says, what is? Is it the breeds? And someone's like, what is it the grades? Yeah. No, it's stuff like that.
Starting point is 01:10:38 I was cracking up. I'm like, oh, this is really going to happen, though. Yeah. Like, it's going to be these type of, like, lyrics that are going to be switched out because it's such a big song. So they have to make it. Like, it's like in the kids bob contract. Number one song, you got to make a kissbop version to it.
Starting point is 01:10:51 Yep. Six plus nine, God. Oh. These ones are the more catchy ones. Yes. He a fan. He a fan. He a fan.
Starting point is 01:11:00 He a fan. He a, he a, he a. Oh, yeah. I've seen one those. Do your math. Do your math, do your man? No. I saw one that said a freaky class something.
Starting point is 01:11:09 What? This is a lot. Well, the kids' pop is here. Kendrick has officially won. Forget all the Billboard. It's the fact that Drake is now going to focus on summer vibes. It's the fact that Kids Bob did it. Kids Bob did it?
Starting point is 01:11:22 It's a hit. It's definitely a hit. Hit me with the scary one again? The scary one again. Dear Mommy, I want my crust cut, mac and cheese and salami. Mom, run. That child is a psychopath. Give him his...
Starting point is 01:11:35 Box talk. Where's box talk? Oh, there was. Oh, that was like... Bussing out of the bells out of the box. Box talk. That makes it pretty good. Pretty good, right?
Starting point is 01:11:45 That's really good. All right. It's going down between the legend himself, Mike Tyson and Jake Paul. This is a crazy fight that I never thought that I would have to talk about. Mike Tyson and Jake Paul. Because Jake Paul, YouTube Transation.
Starting point is 01:12:03 He's been able to like a social media just kill it. W.W.E. stuff. Or his brother. You forgot, you forgot to mention legend before his name too, though. No, no. No. Why? Bruh.
Starting point is 01:12:15 Mike? Brug, tigers are afraid of freaking Mike Tyson. I know. His hands are registered weapons, dog. For sure. So, Jake Paul. Well, we're not going to. We're not about to put them in the same.
Starting point is 01:12:27 Okay. So they're going to be fighting on Netflix. This streams to everyone. Everyone that has a Netflix account, you don't have to pay You get to see the fight. Oh, wow. This is wild. Because already that puts you in the homes of everyone ever in life.
Starting point is 01:12:40 Yeah. I appreciate that. And if this goes well, you're going to see a lot more of this. Yes. It's going down Saturday, July 20th. And it's going to be streamed on all of our Netflix's. And so get that. Get the accounts ready.
Starting point is 01:12:52 Yeah. You're sharing. I'm not going to lie. Netflix lost me for about two years. I was like, I refused to pay. I didn't like anything. The extras and all of that. They got me back.
Starting point is 01:12:59 Let's go. That's all I watch now. I'm not going to lie. With the Tom Brady stuff. All their new documents, all their live events. The Netflix is a joke festival? How many fake e-mos do you have? They're killing.
Starting point is 01:13:09 No, I just pay. I'm like, you know what, you got me. Don't shoot. He's on one of his parents' accounts. He's on his cat, play. All right, well, check this out. They had the New York Press Conference for this boxing match. And this is what's tripping me out because what I and maybe other people in boxing
Starting point is 01:13:24 are afraid of is that this kind of turns into a parody of some sort. Because Jake Paul is such a character, right? Granted, there's people like Ryan Garcia that are characters. You know, Adrian Broner, a character. Even Mayweather has been a character in the past. Even Mike Tyson is a character. So there is that added, like, emphasis on just like the extraness when it comes to boxing. But I never expected it from an actual fan or a spectator, okay?
Starting point is 01:13:48 There's this kid. His name is Kyle Martin. He went up to ask a question, and he kind of stole the show with what he asked, both Mike Tyson and Jake Paul. They were shocked. Check this out. Yo, I'm Kayo Martin, and I'm a big fan of both of you guys are both fucking legends. And I just want to like, yo.
Starting point is 01:14:06 Who do you think's got a higher body count? What's your body count? What's your body count? Where is this kid's mother? You think yours is this higher? Tite! We outside, gaga, boom! I love you guys, what a f***er. We outside.
Starting point is 01:14:32 What is this kid, dude? Dude, are all New York kids like that? I don't know. There's another kid that extra. There's another kid. G's that acts and talks just like that. Where we're at? We outside!
Starting point is 01:14:44 Yeah. He went viral during COVID for saying that. And wow, they all sound like that. And look, this is the valid question of Mike Tyson because usually press conferences are at about 1 p.m. Like, you should be in school. Where's mom's at? Who brought you in here?
Starting point is 01:14:56 True. Right? And then you were able to ask a good question. That was a good question, actually. It made me think. No, it's not. What? You care about more of a body count?
Starting point is 01:15:05 Jake Paul or Mike Tyson? That's a valid question. Who's a soldier? Who do you think? like stars, big stars. Yeah. I mean, I think Michael, like Mike Tyson will have the edge, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:15:15 Because he's older, but I feel like he slowed down in like the past 20 years. And like Jake Paul definitely spent up in the past. That's why he's also married. That's why. Let's talk about this. I can't believe we're talking about. We're here. He's probably had the higher value.
Starting point is 01:15:31 Who? Tyson. Yeah, Robin Givens. Because literally at the time where he was a star in boxing, he's still a star. Yeah. Celebrities were coming. I remember seeing, I think it was a Mani Pachia
Starting point is 01:15:43 Oscar de la Olla fight. Yeah. Freaking Leonardo DeCaprio's in the audience. Like A-List stars are going out to these boxing matches. And of course. And he was the most dangerous man in the world. Come on. So it's about, well, it's about the count of the other day, not the type of person.
Starting point is 01:16:00 No, no, no. No, but I was saying the higher value of status, girl. I went to Mike Tyson. This other fellow, YouTube chicks. Cool. Instagram. A lot of Instagram. models of YouTube chicks.
Starting point is 01:16:10 It's valid question. I wish they would answer. No. Now I'm just thinking about it. I'm like, what's the number? No. What's the record? Boom, bum, wow.
Starting point is 01:16:19 This fight is really already tripping me out because Mike Tyson is Mike Tyson and they've allowed knockouts at this fight. They're not going to wear head gear at this fight. It's going to be a fight. Like an actual, it's not. Like a legit fight. Yeah. It's not going to be with like padding and being extra careful because Mike Tyson is older
Starting point is 01:16:38 and age and because what's his name? Jake Paul is like not that he's lesser prominent but like it's not as qualified it's gonna be a fight it's scaring me what I would do if Tyson would lose yeah same he better not and he's lost before yeah but it's
Starting point is 01:16:54 just the to lose to Jake Paul because we're not to live this down then Jake Paul's gonna go after Canelo and then you can always say that yo I knocked out my time right I beat Mike Tyson like just the fact you can actually say that is crazy Reagan rights yeah legendary even And call Logan what you want, but he actually got in the ring with Floyd Mayweather.
Starting point is 01:17:12 Right. That's legendary. He didn't win. No, he did. It's still legendary. All right. That's going down July 20th. July 20th.
Starting point is 01:17:19 It's already going to be on your Netflix account. It'll be there. I'll be there. I'll be there in my living room. I'll be there in my living room. Keep it here. It's probably 106. Brown Bag.
Starting point is 01:17:27 It's Brown Bag on Power 106. Number one for hip hop.
