Starting point is 00:00:00 It's Power 106, brown bag mornings, Buenos Dias. Happy Tuesday. Tuesday. July 9, okay? Let this be a reminder to you to put deodorant on. Yeah. Put your deodorant on. I didn't put the owner on.
Starting point is 00:00:14 She walks in, puts her arm or her hand under her pit. I did the superstar like, smells it. And it didn't smell bad because it's literally like, I don't smell like off the cuff, right? But I know that like my deodorant has a certain smell on. I'm like, I don't smell it. Oh, yeah. You know kind of when you're in autopilot in the morning? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:00:30 I mean, do all the things you regularly do, but then you're driving like, did I do that? Did I put your arm? Yeah. That's how I felt today. That's how I feel about underwear. What? Yeah. No, nobody else?
Starting point is 00:00:39 This is your friend, Vic. Greg C and the C is for Commando. Ew. With jeans on. No, nobody else? No. That's the first thing I do. What's the thing like you would forget something coming out of your house?
Starting point is 00:00:53 What is the thing that you'd forget? I don't want to jinx myself, but my keys. I'm like so paranoid about locking myself out of my house. I've done that. a couple of times. I'm like, why isn't the door opening to your car? Okay, but I live alone. So, like, oh, like, locking myself out of my house is like my worst nightmare. I did it one time.
Starting point is 00:01:07 Because no one can answer for you. Nobody. No one can, like, open the door again for him. Nobody. Wow. That's a lot. Well, hurry up and I'm going to marry you. I'm kidding. I can get me there. Just for that.
Starting point is 00:01:19 I usually do shoes. You forget your shoes? Yeah. I walk out like, like, Gregory, you have so much growing up to do. You have issues, fool? I don't know. I just walk out with my socks. And then I get in my car. Then I forget that I forget.
Starting point is 00:01:29 This is the weirdest guy I've ever been. And I hope that you're just putting on the extras for the radio, but I don't think that you are. So there's a world where you've walked out without underwear and without shoes. More shoes, but underwear, yes. But, no, but there's like it's. This happened once. Yes. It happened at this one.
Starting point is 00:01:47 Ew. Like here, that's like the walk of shame if there ever was one. Yes. That's exactly one. That's what it was happening, actually. Yeah. And if you're commander, you have to tell us. I sit next to you.
Starting point is 00:01:56 You have to tell me. Yeah, you've got to tell us. Sit that way. Yeah. It's the first reason today. Fresh free. Put deodorant on. All right.
Starting point is 00:02:04 With me, I have a little setup where I take my, I have a little pill for my thyroid, and I take my pill, and then I spread my little perfume, and then I put my deodorant on. I don't know why I did two or three, and then I just left,
Starting point is 00:02:17 and then I'm like, wait. I don't remember in my memory seeing the deodorant bottle. It's a weird thing. Sometimes just one of those days. Yeah. It happens. So don't put the heater out of fools or else you're going to smell like El Salvador.
Starting point is 00:02:29 It's going to smell like a Salvadorian cheese That's crazy My Mayan ancestor Cicca Cicaw! Cicaw! All right, well, keep it here. Thank you for beat so honest in Ophillette. No, it's me.
Starting point is 00:02:47 All right, we have a red flag or false alarm on the... Red flag, red flag, everybody. That's a red flag. Big red flag. Red flag. It's Rose Cranzvick, your red flag expert. Yes she is.
Starting point is 00:03:00 And we got to get to the bottom of this one. Red flag or false alarm? He took me to a restaurant that he said he's never been to, but one of the servers said, welcome back. Damn, he got on the base. Welcome back. Tell me how that would not be a red flag, guys, because I'm already upset. Well, one time I went to a restaurant that I've never been to. You know how they ask you to, like, put in, like, your number for, like, um.
Starting point is 00:03:25 Rewards points or something? No, not rewards points, but, like, to see if your table is going to be ready. The wait list. Yeah. And so they asked me like, oh, have you ever been here? I was like, no. And then I hadn't. And then I put in my number and they're like, oh.
Starting point is 00:03:36 The way you said I hadn't and you look to the side. I already know. And I'm not even having to the way. I already know that you've been there. You've been there, full. No. I've never been there. You're a voice cracked.
Starting point is 00:03:45 And then they said, I haven't with her. Yeah. That's different. Yeah. It makes it different. Yeah. I came at a different time. Hey, maybe.
Starting point is 00:03:52 I haven't had seven. And then they were like, oh, it says like you already have a profile. And I was like, bro. I was like, and then like the girls would look at me And I was like, I swear I don't know They have a sister restaurant, I don't know Yeah It was like, it was another scene
Starting point is 00:04:08 I don't know how that happened to this day I like that was legit the first time I had been there But they must have had a sister restaurant Or something else that worked with them Or maybe they use the same app I know like open table Yeah But like I was so mad at that at that hostess
Starting point is 00:04:21 For like saying that out loud You met her? Yeah It made me look sketched to your job What was the restaurant on me? It was Alma at the Grove Okay. I've never heard of a sister to Alma.
Starting point is 00:04:33 Me neither. Yeah, I'm not sure. You went there. I went there and yeah, but like, yeah, I mean, none of the like servers knew me or anything. That would be a red flag maybe. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:41 I would think it's only, uh, how do you say a false alarm? If maybe the hoses, they're just on autopilot, like we were talking about earlier. Yeah. Like it's like when you say hi to someone, you're like, how are you, how are you? And then you just automatically go to that small talk. Oh, yeah, yeah. That they tell everybody welcome back or it's just part of like their like the things that Or have you ever...
Starting point is 00:05:00 Oh, it's my favorite restaurant. Come on, I like the food there. No, he said that it's, you're supposed to have... You said that it's your first time. Oh, my first time. Yeah, you like that. The guy told the girl... He's my favorite restaurant.
Starting point is 00:05:09 We're just going to. It's like, where's... Let's go here. I've never been here. Are you ever taking any girls? No, I've never been here. And then like, the server's like, hey, welcome back. Or maybe you just have that face.
Starting point is 00:05:19 That could be a... The same face of every person. That's not your fault either. Yeah. Or have you ever, like, met somebody that you already know? And then you just automatic... Your brain just says, oh, nice to meet you. And you're like, wait, I don't know why I said that.
Starting point is 00:05:30 I never say nice to meet you on purpose because I don't want to think I'm meeting someone. And they're like, we've met already. That's like my worst fear. No, but that's my worst fear that I say nice to meet you. And they're like, well, we already met already. So I always say nice to see you. You hit them. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:43 Oh, that's so. Like, nice to see you. Then it's like, oh, that's smart. Whether I'm meeting you or I'm not, boom. Yeah. That is good. That is a life. Is that the same energy as, uh, I've heard so much about you.
Starting point is 00:05:55 What? Yeah. Yeah. Why are you stitching? I was trying to help you out. That is her. I'm gonna tell on you. No one.
Starting point is 00:06:04 Yeah. I don't know which one you're talking about. So whichever one I need, I've hardly heard. I met Greg. I met Greg's I-e-girl, very different from his OC girl. I don't have an OC girl. I was being a great wingman. And I was like, hey, I've heard so much about you, right?
Starting point is 00:06:24 And then so later she's like, so what have you said about me? But like that's where like That's where That's the volley for him to be like You know They just know how I feel about you Like they just know you made my day I talk about you all the time
Starting point is 00:06:34 Then it's on your Like on you Why you bring that up? That's the same energy There's so much potential for like Outside people to like ruin your relationship With like a slight comment Oh yeah
Starting point is 00:06:44 One time my grandpa I was trying to help him I know No no you're doing you're doing your thing It's stressful One time my grandpa Met like a ex-girlfriend of mine And he was like
Starting point is 00:06:53 Oh like Islamisma And I'm like Why do you say that? I'm like why would you say Why do you say that out? I'm like, and then my grandma's like, Prieto, that's what she calls him. She's like, why'd you say that?
Starting point is 00:07:01 And I was just like, I'm just sitting there like, uh-uh, uh-uh, uh-huh. Did the grown-n Spanish? Not really. Okay, good, good. Yeah. One time it benefited me. But anyway, red flag or false alarm,
Starting point is 00:07:16 he took me to a restaurant that he said he's never been to, and one of the servers said, welcome back. Okay, so we were arguing over this, but David and Rialto on line one, the answer to whether this is a red flag or a false alarm. David. David. What up, brown bag? What up, me and say? Good morning. Good morning over there, Riota. Is this a false alarm or a red flag? So here's my scoop on this, okay, guys. There is a restaurant shot
Starting point is 00:07:43 out to Max's in Azusa, this Mexican cuisine place. And so we've been there before, and it was kind of interesting that when you were there for the first time, right? You come in, It's kind of quiet, and then all of a sudden somebody comes up to you, they have a seat, and then the server comes up, and the first thing he tells you is, where you been? Just like that, right? That's so tight. That's the worst place for the first day.
Starting point is 00:08:06 Yeah. Or the best place, because you could just say every first day, hey, look, they just, they do this. It's a good spot to take the girls. Right. At the same time, at the same time, it's your first time. It's like, wait, where you've been? How long?
Starting point is 00:08:20 What's the last time you're here? Right? Yeah. Yeah. Bro, you're in a sick-ass area of Rialto. I'm going to be real with you. You just keep, like, fading out. Like, oh, blah.
Starting point is 00:08:30 And we went, right. Where you been? What are you been? It's a restaurant. I've never been here before. It's a game. Most crowds big. Keep it here.
Starting point is 00:08:39 It's power. Brownback mornings, Buenos days. Good morning to you. Good morning. Coming up at 715, your ticket is to join us at a brown bag morning's carnasada with Sweetie. Oh, yeah. That's my time.
Starting point is 00:08:51 Hey, that's going down. Who said that's my dad? Was that you guys? That was me. That's my type. It sounded just like the song. Yeah. That's going to be us.
Starting point is 00:09:03 July 19th at a secret location where we're going to have Sweetie there with us. We're going to have some bomb car and assada, okay? So make plans for that. You get more info on Power 106.com slash brown bag. All right, we have some shodiskes. Yes, we do. Jackie wants to send a shout out to her son and his baseball team for winning the championship this weekend. Let's go.
Starting point is 00:09:20 Congrats. They traveled from Palmdale to Dar. high school, he came home with the championship. No way. They went out dark. That's what I don't even know where Dar is that? Me neither either.
Starting point is 00:09:30 It's over there. It's over there. It's over Dar. Okay. Go, go, go. And that's it. Oh, that's it? Oh, I need a shout out, Miss Cynthia.
Starting point is 00:09:37 She is my kids counselor at their summer camp slash daycare slash school. Oh, yeah, it's summer camp right now. They do not have their backpacks today. Also, Luisito does not have his glasses today. They're in my car. I apologize. Yeah. I just, yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:51 I looked in my purse for some little. glass and I see Luisito's his prescription glasses. Excuse me, prescription glasses. Yeah. And then I'm like, oh, dang. And then I'm like, oh my God, I have their backpacks in my car. You start remembering everything. Oh, that means I have their water bottles in my glass. Oh, they're all dehydrated right now.
Starting point is 00:10:07 Please help my kids out today. Please. I don't know if there's a worst feeling as a parent as like having that. Like, some of your kids stuff that they need in your car. And you can't get it to them. What's in their backpack? I don't know. Probably like cars. I don't know. But it's their backpack.
Starting point is 00:10:23 They don't have it. They need it. Yeah. It has their hand sanitizers, all of that. Yeah, I don't know. I think it's water plate day, so it has, like, their extra water clothes, their water shoes. Miss India, please, please. Help my little children out, please.
Starting point is 00:10:34 Get them, get them some clothes from the Lost and Found. Yeah. That were not picked up. You'll ever take from the Lost and Found and it wasn't yours? Don't lie. They would do that all the time. I used to work in the office, so. For real?
Starting point is 00:10:45 Yeah. This looks nice. Got a nice hat. I never got, like, school merch. Like, I never got school gear. Yeah. But I did. Oh.
Starting point is 00:10:54 Think about it. Think about it. It was never bought for me, but I always had it. That's right. But I got it on me. Oh, Timmy over there. You know what I mean. The name.
Starting point is 00:11:04 Franklin Elementary School zip up. I did. The name. It's a little cholo writing. That's somebody else's. Oh, okay. Well, shout out to you. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:14 Shout out to them. Yeah. Yeah. That's really awesome. Yeah, that's pretty impressive. And shout it to all the birthdays out there that we're celebrating, but no one called it. By the way, I have a strong belief that you are sending in your shoutouts.
Starting point is 00:11:27 No, I'm looking at our DMs. Pay attention. I'm looking at our DMs and our DMs. DM DJ.greg.c. Yeah, at DJ gregg. Dot C. Yeah, on Instagram. Yeah, send you shoutouts.
Starting point is 00:11:38 I'll do them. Maybe. All right, all right. Let's get into Word on Rosecrans. What's the word? Word on Rosecrans. Roast crans. The word is
Starting point is 00:11:51 Kendrick Lamar's beef with Drake is selling more beef in Compton. What? Okay, look, Kendrick Lamar dropped this video for Not Like Us on Fourth of July, and one of the scenes, he was at Tams Burgers in Compton on Rosecransab, and since then, customers have been flooding the location, okay? The managers of Tams, Laura Hernandez and his son, Brian Noe, told TMZ that fans came in after Not Like Us, and that was the reason for their visit. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:20 Is this where the video was it? Yes. When you know, Kendrick was standing right here. Literally. And they said that they've known Kendrick for 20 years, and he asked them to close the store for the day, and they didn't hesitate, and they didn't ask for any money. But Kendrick said that he would include the TAM's logo in the final cut of the video. Nice. Right?
Starting point is 00:12:38 But, you know, by not being greedy and just being, you know, willing to work, it's paying off because their sales are up 40% since then. And that's just the start. Yeah. Let people start coming. to a later visit, they're going to go tourist attraction. It's going to be a tourist. And granted, it already is because town is like a hood classic. Exactly. And everybody talks about
Starting point is 00:12:58 Tams too, but I think it's just being on this music video specifically. It's stamped it, for sure. And everybody's getting the bacon cheeseburger because that's what Kendrick orders. Yeah. They need to make it the Kendrick Mug. My middle school and high school was all Tams because there's one right next to my house. And they have Dollar Burgers back then. And I was just, every guy, I would get a dollar burger
Starting point is 00:13:16 all the time. Even all the employees knew me as a little kid would come on his bike and he tams. And I saw a little note on Instagram. I love Thames. Yeah, because I saw the whole... Like the whole situation. I was like, oh, my God, I love Tams. Like, it tastes the fries, the burgers and everything.
Starting point is 00:13:29 It's that good? I still go to the day. It's really good. But also, I don't know if people are, like, expecting, like, something else. But it's, like, a classic, like, hood burger. Like, it's really good. It tastes like homemade in a way. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:41 You know what I'm saying? I know what cheese would. Yeah. Look, now he's getting hungry. I'm thinking about it. It is. Early in the morning. Yesterday.
Starting point is 00:13:47 Yesterday. Or the day before yesterday, actually. Sunday. They know me there. Maybe I should go back, make a song, go back in 20 years. You're not candid style. You're not. I can make a music video.
Starting point is 00:13:59 I feel like if Greg makes it, it's just going to be like a DJ mix, like, Tam's, Tam's, Tam, Tam, Tam, Tam, Tam, Tam, Tam. I can mix in the middle of Thames. I can mix in the middle of Thames. Go ahead. That should be a life dream right there. The one in Whittier? Yeah, the one in Whittier.
Starting point is 00:14:11 Okay. It's my life dream. It's my life. It's my goal now. Oh, my gosh. Okay, look. Lil Wayne explained why he didn't perform at the, the cash money reunion over the weekend at Essence Fest.
Starting point is 00:14:22 Okay. So it was long rumored that there would be a Hot Boys reunion for Essence Fest 2024. Hot Boys was the first group, Lil Wayne was in back in 1997 with juvenile, Turk, and BG. They were like the anti-boy band, boy band, right? But then they broke up. I never heard them explain themselves like that, but I get what you say. They were.
Starting point is 00:14:41 They were dressed in the same, like, that was at the time of like the in-sync. Yeah, back to boys. They came out and we're like, we're anti-that, but we're all going to dress the same. Yeah. So, you know, obviously they went there several ways. They broke up. And now in 2024, BG just got out of jail. So there's a possibility that could have all been reunited on stage together in New Orleans at Essence Fest.
Starting point is 00:15:03 But BG, juvenile and Birdman were the only ones who participated and they performed on stage together. Then after they cleared the stage, Lil Wayne came on separately with the rest of his young money crew. So everybody was like, why didn't they just perform together? They were in the same place at the same time. Yeah, I need to hear this together. This is hot boys. This is cash money records. This is that.
Starting point is 00:15:27 I definitely will not call it a boy band. That is a rap crew. Yeah, yeah. But to see them kind of be in the same place but not be together, that's very telling. That's, that's. Yeah, exactly. So he went on IG Live yesterday and he stated that he wasn't booked to perform with them. And he did what he was contracted to do, which was perform with Young Money.
Starting point is 00:15:48 So essentially they thought maybe he would come out for a song or two. And that would have been, you know, up to his discretion. Right. He was in the same place at the same time. It wasn't promised. And it wasn't part of the plan. It also like with big productions like this, like there needs to be rehearsals and stuff like that. So he was like, nobody ever told me.
Starting point is 00:16:05 Right. You know what I'm saying? And it was a lot of like juvenile being like, oh, maybe it's going to happen. Maybe it's going to happen. And juveniles also stated that they've been working on an album together, but Lil Wayne hasn't confirmed that either. Oh. Oh. So it's kind of like...
Starting point is 00:16:19 That was a time. That was a time. I don't know how it would sound, you know, now, 24, but, you know, that was definitely a time. So, yeah. Well, that was your word. I'm Rose Cranes. I'm Rose Cranes. I'm Rose Cranes.
Starting point is 00:16:28 I'm for Brown Bag Mornings. What's up? This is Be Real from Cypress Hill. Where are you from, Es? Don't you know I'm local? It's a turf war in Los Angeles, you guys. Oh, what? But it's mean two different breeds of perico.
Starting point is 00:16:43 Okay. I'm not talking about that. I'm not talking about that. Get your mind out of the ghetto. I was excited. I'm talking about the parrots. Oh, the bird. Like actual parrots, you guys, like actual pericles.
Starting point is 00:16:53 If you've looked up at the sky or at the trees, I know this happens around my area, which is like San Gabriel Valley area right now. They hop from tree to tree and they make really loud noises. And they're beautiful. Green parrots. You see them everywhere, right? Have you guys peeped them at the pet store, but I haven't seen them in the wild. I've seen them and they were loud and wake up my whole neighborhood.
Starting point is 00:17:13 Okay. Really? You better let them be, Gregory. I like them. Because they're fighting for kids. turf. Okay, so apparently there is the red crown parrot. National geographic this, you guys. There's a red crown parrot and there's a lilac crown parrot. It's basically whatever the parrot is up here. And they're from. And they're from different parts of Mexico. Actually, in Mexico
Starting point is 00:17:29 where they're from, they're endangered. But out here, they are thriving. They are. The thing is, parrots don't migrate. These fools didn't fly here. They were brought in through the pet trade. It was like some like, hey, pet stores, all of that. People let them go loose in the air. I knew it. And then. And then. Periquitos out there. That's where they originated Somebody dropped the box of parrots Whoop!
Starting point is 00:17:49 Oh, my house of parrits! Have you ever had a bird? I've had a bird before. And then you clip their wings so they don't fly, which is really sad. Sorry to all the birds out there that are listening. I know why the cage bird sings. Yes, all of that.
Starting point is 00:18:01 But I'm assuming someone was brought them either outside so like clipped their wings or then they flew away. The haulas, all of us fly away. This makes sense now. What? Growing up, my parents told me that those birds flew over hear from Hurricane Katrina. You're a lot.
Starting point is 00:18:18 I swear. They said that all the pet stores since, like, they were, like, demolished. Greg. You know what? That's what happened. You may be closed my mat. I don't think that's true. Do you know how far away?
Starting point is 00:18:28 Birds could fly? I don't know. You know how it was 20 years ago? Do you think, like, that's all we got. If we got Hurricane Katrina, like, granted, there were people that came from Hurricane Katrina. Shout out, Frank Ocean. But the birds wouldn't be the only thing we get.
Starting point is 00:18:42 I feel like we'd get, like, alligators or something before we did. I mean, also, like, how do we get, I mean, also, like, how the parents like fly in that the type of temperature. I don't know. I was just told that like since all the pet stores, they were wiped out, all the birds got loose and they flew over here. I need to talk to your mom and your dad. And you really believe this.
Starting point is 00:18:57 Do you've been telling me they've been lying this whole time? Yeah. What else have they told you? Yeah. No. Keep it real. Though, they came from Mexico. They're from different parts of Mexico.
Starting point is 00:19:07 They're not used. They're not supposed to be mating. They kind of don't. Like so they're trying to battle it out for Los Angeles. And the reason why they're like thriving out here in Los Angeles is because we also do this thing where we import tropical trees. Like we're just doing it for the life. Right?
Starting point is 00:19:20 Yeah, different trees that we have all the way out here, right? But our plants and excuse me, our animal life out here don't really know what to do with these tropical trees. However, the parents are like say less. Like they're not fighting for these trees or the fruits in these trees or the habitat in these trees. So they can thrive out here and really have no other competition. So they're getting bigger and bigger just so you know. The birds? The birds?
Starting point is 00:19:45 Well, not bigger like inside. It's just probably like group number. I like that. They fly by groups in my house and they're so... Dude, I like that noise. Like, I don't mind it. I love that noise. Yeah, it's nature.
Starting point is 00:19:59 So they're Mexican just like this? Yeah. They're just loud? We don't have to send them back right. Yeah. Send me a loud one. I like them. Are you light-crowned Perry or are you red crowned parrot?
Starting point is 00:20:13 Which one's a more quiet one? I don't know. Neither. And then supposedly, I'm sure there's already yellow crown parrots that exist for some of a reason. But I guess like the scientists that are starting to like, they're trying to see where and what they're doing and how they're evolving. Because it's really odd that they're living out here. They're thriving out here versus in Mexico where they're endangered, right? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:33 That apparently when they crossbreed, it turns into the yellow crown. Oh, that's cool. And I was like, wow. Purple and yellow? Meg yellow? I mean, purple and red, make yellow? What? Well, I didn't know that.
Starting point is 00:20:42 Very natural geographic vibes. I thought that made violent. But, yeah. Be Team Red. You'll be Team Red? I'll be Team Purple. I like Lilac. I'll be Team Yellow.
Starting point is 00:20:51 You're the combination. Combination. Team stop waking me up at 5 in the morning. They're going to like, oh my God. They're so pretty. They are just a beautiful green. I'm not mad at them at all. I always wondered, I'm like, are those the pairs that can talk?
Starting point is 00:21:06 No. No. Okay, that was always my experience. I don't know. That was really big. Can't know. I was really, yeah. I've been trying to.
Starting point is 00:21:14 My dad. This is like Planet of the Apes. dog. And they're taking all they need is one that can talk. It teaches the other ones that can talk.
Starting point is 00:21:21 Yes, they need a Caesar. And they're from Mexico. So they're from Mexico. Issaid? Sim. Or Pimp. Sip.
Starting point is 00:21:33 Sip. Sip. Sip. Sip. Yolene. Not Mexico, but Gregory. Letty. Stop doing that.
Starting point is 00:21:41 My guy's going to come back from Chile. What do you mean? I'm right here. Lecheele. You're in the face with it. With the Chile? I'm chilling here.
Starting point is 00:21:47 I didn't go to Chile. Stop, bro. Stop, bro. Stop. Why do you sound like a chill? He did not sound like that. Very nice. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:21:54 Yeah. This is your very nice simple pill. Great. Yeah, wait. Your voice. It hurts now. Yeah, you're going to mess it up. Anyways, Brazilian soccer star, Kakaa, aka Ricardo.
Starting point is 00:22:08 Carca. Ricardo is Zoko San Don Santos de Teth. That's his full name. Shut up. He's Brazilian. He's Brazilian. Ricardo isekon San Juan San Jose Santos Letel, Lette. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:22:24 It's a long, very long name. He played for Brazil. But then why is he called him Kak? Because his little brother, when he was younger, couldn't pronounce Ricardo. So they called him Kak. Hey, after that super long name, I would just let's just keep it short. Yeah. Caca.
Starting point is 00:22:38 Yeah. What about Kakah? So his ex-wife, Caroline Celio, came out and talked about their divorce that happened back in 2015. Oh, nine years ago. Nine years ago. She quoted, this is what she said, he was too perfect for me. And they were married for 10 years.
Starting point is 00:22:58 She divorced him. Because he was too perfect for him. Okay. Stop, stop, stop. Yes, yes. This is my, proving my theory that women do not want a perfect man. They want a project, okay? Like a car.
Starting point is 00:23:12 Like, we like project cars as men. Oh, my gosh. build them up, yep, from the ground up. Don't speak for all women. Exactly. They want a project. You got to come with some holes. No, I want a perfect man.
Starting point is 00:23:22 Some thing. He even broke his silence about it on a podcast. They were talking about the divorce and everything. He said that he gave his ex-wife everything, and he tried everything to not split up. That she's the one that wanted to split up the marriage. It must be her then. Yeah, she's terrible.
Starting point is 00:23:41 Yeah. No, sometimes, sometimes, like, if you know, toxic, it almost is, like, it hurts to have healthy. It doesn't make sense. It doesn't make sense. It's what you yearn for. You're accustomed to that. But you're accustomed to something.
Starting point is 00:23:54 And you don't know. It almost feels like the world is gas-sighting. Like, this is too perfect. It's too perfect. Like, you just have trust issues off of that, off of your past that you've had. It's not his fault at all. For him to be balanced and healthy and maybe communicates, maybe like, uses his words. Yeah, tells her he loves her.
Starting point is 00:24:12 Maybe all of that, right? 10 years, though. I know. 10 years. Wow. And for her, she was just miserable. She was just waiting for him to be a worst person for 10 years. Or she was about to handle good.
Starting point is 00:24:23 Yeah. Yeah. Guys go through this and girls go through this. I'm sure like guys find a girl. And it's like, dude, she's just too good. Like, I've been through so much and like I don't know how to treat her. Like I don't know how to go about this. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:35 I feel like that's what happens with me. Like I'm too good sometimes. Yeah. What? I was like too good at what? Just everything. Like just two communicative. too...
Starting point is 00:24:45 You can't even say the word. Can't even say the word. Too empowering of women, like, just too supportive. Like... Okay. I've been told up to do. You laugh by yourself.
Starting point is 00:24:57 She loves you anyway, bro. She knows that you're broken. I know, I know. I know. I'm a project. I'm a project. I'm a group project, by me. I'm a group project.
Starting point is 00:25:09 I'm a group project. I'm a war. Who on in? Take more than one for me together. Yeah. I have a mission project. You're okay there, man? A hug or something?
Starting point is 00:25:20 All right, is it super pissed? Oh, I think. I mean, it's, I don't know. I don't know. It's a bit of the girl. To have divorced him for being too good to her. I think it's simple of her. Yeah, because it's like too good for her.
Starting point is 00:25:33 Like this guy, he was a soccer player of the, uh, yeah, also like he's a male player of the year. Yeah, like, let's forget, like, we forgot that part. Yeah. Not only was he like all the above like she. Good things, but he also like was successful. Yes, very successful soccer career. Like a star soccer player in Brazil, that's super hard to become. Probably.
Starting point is 00:25:51 Jesus. Oh. Sip. Sip. Short. I sure. Hey. Hey, that's that new mustard.
Starting point is 00:26:02 Travis Scott parking lot right here on Power 106. L.A's number one for hip-hop. I know. It's the vibe. It's going to be a mustard summer. Just get ready. And I cannot wait. Because any time it's mustard at the forefront of music, especially hip-hop, we have an amazing.
Starting point is 00:26:15 sounding year. Speaking of amazing, I would like to talk about our amazing Flavie Unit. Let's get to that. We had two Flavian members in here with us. Vero and Vero Rep in the Valley, like me and great one. And you. Umberto.
Starting point is 00:26:37 That's really his name. Umberto, what city do you read, bro? Oh, City of Watts. Oh, hold on. City of Watts? City of Watts. All right. Watch California in the house.
Starting point is 00:26:46 WhatsApp. WhatsApp. I feel like you might be the only umberto and Watts. So if you need to get a Berto and Watts, this is who we're talking to. We're talking about Rolling Loud. Yeah. Because every year we're like up all over Rolling Loud, right? Yes.
Starting point is 00:27:00 And then Greg is wearing a Rolling Loud shirt. Very nice shirt. And it's the festival shirt. It's like a merch that the festival makes, right? Yeah, really tight. And so we're talking about like, wow, the festival gave you guys these shirts. That's really tight. Like, that's amazing.
Starting point is 00:27:15 They're nice. And then Umberto is like, yeah, Desto Dub did that too. Like, he was giving away. It's awful lot of cops are up, Merri. Shout out Desta. Shout out, Desto. Shout out, Homie, Juan. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:28 He was not giving away. It just so happened that our homie, Desto Dub and Juan, they were like, hey, Brownback is there. We're going to hook you guys up with merch since we're here at the same time. Yeah. So they took a box of stuff for Brownback. Yep. To the power booth. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:48 And why does every freaking flavor you in November? Now where it's an awful lot of cops to remorse? That's wild. Brug. You all are wearing the small. None of you are small. And it's funny because we found out about it. Like, I don't know how, but we just heard about it.
Starting point is 00:28:04 You had to see them walk around with cool merch on. It's one of those things like you don't want to just bring it up out of nowhere. Yeah. So we have not mentioned it at all. And then Humberto goes, is like, oh yeah. They were giving up. Oh, yeah, Desil Dub was giving a lot of free stuff out too. And then we're like, no.
Starting point is 00:28:17 I'm like, nope, no, he wasn't. I wasn't going to bring it up. But now that you're bringing it up. That's mine. That's what I wear. Those are my friends. They wanted to give it to me. And there were $200 worth of stuff.
Starting point is 00:28:27 One shirt is $200. I'm even asking what size are you? And I gave him my size. And you never got it? I never got it. I'm like, can I get it? I'm freezing. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:28:39 So who was it? Who was the first one, Uberto? at the power tank. He's sweating right now. No, say it, say it. He's literally sweating. Who was the first one? Who was the first one that was like,
Starting point is 00:28:51 hey, let's just open this for us? Yeah, this is for us. So, on God, like, I didn't open. I was not even at the front. Talk to the mic. I was recording backstage. Like, I was not at the front. So that's not God.
Starting point is 00:29:02 Like, I don't know anything about that. He was not at the scene. But you know they were giving no I merch. No, no. I got my shirt from this one. Oh. Oh. Oh.
Starting point is 00:29:10 Since he thought you were Greg C. I did an event with Wavy and Jimena and we did an interview. No, no, no, but we're talking about the Roli Lack. You knew about it. But you knew about it. You'd be lying. You brought it up. We didn't even mention it.
Starting point is 00:29:26 How did you know that they were quote-unquote giving away this? All right, I'll tell you. So, so my boss Brian told me my boss Brian. My boss Brian. Ryan. Brian's meet on the Flavian since I was on air like 10 plus years ago. And Brian is the most chill. Hey, hey, what's up?
Starting point is 00:29:49 Do you need anything? Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah, we're going to go. Here's your parking bus. Let me know when you're there. I'll pick you up. And Brian is walking around with awful lot of cops through merch. So he told me that he got a sweater from him.
Starting point is 00:30:02 But that was it. I don't know where that came down. That's not what you said. He said the giving away stuff. Yeah. I promise you that don't give that stuff away. We were specifically talking about how the Flavie and it got hooked up with festival merch from Rolling Loud because Greg is wearing a shirt. And we're like, Dan, they didn't do that last year.
Starting point is 00:30:20 And then you were like, oh, yeah, so dub did it. Like, you said that. He gave away a lot of stuff. Because Brian told me that he got a free hoodie. So I was like, oh, he was hooking people up with them. But that was my stuff. You said that they were getting away a lot of stuff. Not one person got one hoodie.
Starting point is 00:30:35 Yeah. You're covering. Yeah, you're covering it. That wouldn't be like, nobody. Ornica Did you get one? Did you get one, Veronica? Were you around at?
Starting point is 00:30:45 I should have went to. That it will tell us. All right. He's getting nasty in here. So we have to say this. We'll come back with the homie help line. Our homie, Brian's going to need some help after this. Right.
Starting point is 00:30:56 Brother, you're still going to keep your job. Just tell the truth. He's sweaty. Get my hoodie. All right, check this out, homie. You need a homie or need some help. We need your head. We'll need a line.
Starting point is 00:31:09 I mean, phone line. We got your fault. The homie helpline. Mandy needs our help. Mandy sent us a DM and said, Hey, Brownback, I need a homie help line. I've been with my man since last year. I love him and we have a baby together,
Starting point is 00:31:23 but we both have our past. I got out of an almost 10-year relationship when I got with him, and I wasn't completely over that guy. He was in a love triangle that ended up getting him shot. Okay, I'm wondering, is she talking about her ex or him, the one she's with? Her ex shot him. I'm not completely over that guy.
Starting point is 00:31:41 He was in a love triangle. Is she talking about her new man or her old man? Her new man. Oh, got it. He claimed he was over all the drama, but last weekend he fell asleep with his phone unlocked. And I saw he was messaging his ex from around Valentine's Day up until a week after I gave birth. He also cashed up her money and was sweet talking her because she has something of his he wants back supposedly. That's the answer.
Starting point is 00:32:03 What could that be? Yeah. A relationship. Oh, I was texting her because she had something. I wanted that thing back that she has. Yeah. She has it. And he said he has something back we want supposedly, but he doesn't even work.
Starting point is 00:32:15 And I didn't get a gift for my birthday or Mother's Day. Plus, I seen he had paid OnlyFans and he had screenshots of strippers plus messaging people throughout our relationship all while not working, not having a J-O-B. That's crazy. I don't know what to believe. I'm lost and hurt. And we are taking a break, but I need advice on what my next move should be. How does he pay for OnlyFans? I wonder how upset God gets at us.
Starting point is 00:32:39 sometimes. Why? Because it'll be like, God, just give me a sign. Here's your sign. Here's your sign. Here's a big sign right in front of you. Oh, I don't know what to think. I don't know what to do with this information. Yeah. He doesn't have a job. Some people just don't want to see it. Yeah. Some people just are like, I'm not going to believe my lying eyes. Yeah, like, no, there's an explanation for everything. He didn't mean it. It's like that one situation you call my homie a cheater or a liar, but you'll never call him. broke because he's not broke. But this one's broken. This one's all the above. What would you tell Mandy? Because I feel like I have no words. Yeah. It's so clear to me.
Starting point is 00:33:21 Yeah, this is like black and white, like full. Keep it here. It's right one of six. All right. Check this out, homie. You need a homie or need some help. We need your help. We need a line.
Starting point is 00:33:30 I mean, phone line. We got you for the homie help line. Mandy needs our help. Mandy. She won't believe her. lying eyes apparently. She has been with her man for the last year. They have a baby together.
Starting point is 00:33:48 She got out of an almost 10-year relationship. He was also with another girl in the past. I was in a love triangle. Got him shot. She left his phone unlocked the other day. She went in there, saw everything bad that you could ever see from a partner. Yeah. Cash-happing, you know, exes, DMing them, talking to them on Valentine's Day.
Starting point is 00:34:08 Only fans of descriptions. She didn't get a present for her birthday or Mother's Day or anything like that. And now she says they're taking a break, but she needs advice on what to do next. And she probably needs the advice because there's a baby. Yeah. It seems recent because if she's saying that the Valentine's Day thing happened all the way up until she gave birth, that means Valentine's Day was recently giving birth probably within the last couple months. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:37 So this is a new baby. you're going through everything as a new mom. Your hormones haven't even balanced yet, really. Right? So you're going through that. And then you're thinking, okay, I did like my ex while I was getting with him. There's a reason she mentioned that. She said I was with someone for 10 years that I wasn't completely over when I got with my new guy.
Starting point is 00:34:57 You're saying that because you feel like that's your guilty reason of why maybe all this is happening. Yeah. Like, why did I leave? Is this my bad because I still cared about my guy? he's getting me back for, because it can also be the thing, well, you still liked your man. She was never over him. No, no, no. Like, he could tell her, I'm texting my ex, but you still liked your man, your ex when you were with me.
Starting point is 00:35:19 So you should understand type of deal. It's one thing to have feelings and it's another thing to act on them. Facts. Wow. Damn. Who's this guy? He's definitely acting. He's acting on them for sure.
Starting point is 00:35:31 Let's take it to the calls, though, because I really want to know what you'd say to this young lady that doesn't know what to do after catching. her man, texting his ex sending her gifts. They just had a baby. The current girlfriend that's hitting us up. Meanwhile, he's paying on only fans for things. He has strippers, screenshots
Starting point is 00:35:52 in his phone. Probably no money for diapers. No money for diapers. Doesn't have a job. I like how people are like, he's cheating and he doesn't have a job. It's not okay even if he did have a job. True. It's like, I'm not even holding you down financially. But this is like a compound fracture. Oh, for sure.
Starting point is 00:36:08 For sure. It's like one on top of the other. Exactly. All right, we got Victor from La Habra on the line. Victor, Hey. Big,
Starting point is 00:36:14 I'm going to tell you right now, brother, if you cuss, we get kicked out, okay? Please do not. We will all come after you, okay? Because we're having technical difficulties all morning along on Brownback mornings, okay? I live down.
Starting point is 00:36:24 La Habra's not that far. I live down. I know. I know where you have, Victor. You better talk like if your grandma and your child and your favorite teacher were all in the same room,
Starting point is 00:36:32 okay, watching you. Well, I'm slick. I got a little five-year-old, so I got to pay it all the time. Okay, good. What the French toast? All right. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:36:42 Lictor. What would you tell Mandy? Dude, what the hell? Yeah. Oh my God. I'm like, jeez. Like, honestly, like, number one, I like what you said letty is like, you know, God is probably mad at us because they throw so many signs and it's just out there. Like, what more signs do you need?
Starting point is 00:36:59 Number two, like, like, I don't know who she is. I don't know her, but you got to know your work, you know, you got to know who you are. You got to know what you deserve. And you, even if you do, you know, have feelings for your ex, know enough and know for yourself to love yourself to say, you know what, I'm not going to continue in anything further. I'm going to do me or I'm going to do whatever I want to do to make me have. But this guy, I mean, how many other things? Does he need to do for sure? Strippers.
Starting point is 00:37:25 Yeah. In shots. Like, he doesn't find her worthy. I'm sorry. I don't know him, but just by his actions, like, don't care about her. Yeah. You know, I don't care about her. I'm with you, Victor.
Starting point is 00:37:35 And my thing too is like if you go back to him, you're telling him, well, he may be sorry for what he did. You're telling him you're going to stay with him regardless of if he does it or not. So then why would he stop? Why would he stop if you're going to be with him no matter what, right? If you're going to take him back after these things. Perpetual, it's perpetuating the behavior. So it's like, this is okay. You keep doing it.
Starting point is 00:37:55 You can do something similar. And you know what? It can be okay because it was similar. So just keep doing it again. Thank you for that. Yeah. Wow. It was incredible.
Starting point is 00:38:02 Victors. Victors are incredible. Victors. Stop. You better stop. What? What? You're not the same.
Starting point is 00:38:09 What? You know that. You said, they're not like us. You know. All right. We got Abby from Playa Vista on the line. Abby,
Starting point is 00:38:15 where's Playa Vista? I was going to ask that. I don't know. It's in the marina. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi.
Starting point is 00:38:19 Hi. Oh, you're by the airport. Mm-hmm. You sound rich. Yeah, I'm on my way to work right now. Nice. Did you catch the tire that fell off that one airplane? That was crazy.
Starting point is 00:38:31 No. Not yet. Abby, talk to us. What would you tell? Mandy who's in a relationship with the guy they've been together a year they just had a baby it's a really quick it's a really quick relationship it happens it happens
Starting point is 00:38:42 they just had a baby they both have passed he's gotten shot before in a previous relationship and he's actually still texting the girl he was in in that previous relationship even like sending her like cash apps and stuff like that when Mandy finds out because she went through his phone when Mandy finds out he tells her
Starting point is 00:38:59 oh it's because she has something that I want so I'm trying to like sweet talk her so I could get the thing back that I want right which I'm just telling you right now, a guy will think that that works in that moment, and then a girl will believe it because she'll at least want any explanation. Yeah. Versus, I'm cheating on you.
Starting point is 00:39:14 And they'll even believe something stupid like that. And then he has photos of strippers in his phone, he pays for only bands, all while not having a job. And they just have a newborn. What would you tell her? Because she right now is saying, I don't know what to do. Honestly, my friend, one of my really close friends, is going through the same
Starting point is 00:39:30 exact situation. It's not like word by word. And, no. Oh, yeah. My friend is going through the same exact thing, and he's actually paying his friend to learn information about his ex. He couldn't pay for diapers either, and honestly, it doesn't get better. And I told her, I was like, you know what? I think you're just with him because you think that's the love you deserve. And on top of that, I think he's with you because he's trying to fill a void.
Starting point is 00:39:56 Because he can't get that other person. He can't be with that other person, even that other person is not working out or whatever. Or they chose different. Right, right. Yeah. So he's settling with this other person. He's like, okay, well, they can give me a baby. They can take care of me. That's all. That's it. But they don't really love that person. He doesn't love Mandy. I'm sorry. Like, he doesn't really truly care about her. Yeah. Would you tell her to leave? Does your girlfriend have a baby? Your friend? Yeah. Yeah. She has a baby too. And like he never changed. Like they say they'll change. But literally if she, like, even if like the right woman is standing right in front of them, like for men, they will not change. Like even if they do. Like, even if they do. do everything right and she's been doing everything right she cooks she cleans she takes care of the baby and like he does like nothing and he's still like trying to get information paying people for information on his ex like and he's saying like oh i love you like it's all false yeah his
Starting point is 00:40:50 priorities are messed up yeah do you think she your home girl's gonna leave him or is it like mandi because i think too is like i'm i could tell you leave him yeah like god is telling you like he's basically telling you what he's showing you on the phone but you're not going to yeah she's actually just recently left him because she found out about the information that he's looking giving money instead of instead of giving money for like diapers and clothes like that was the last straw for her thankfully yeah hopefully oh hopefully okay well i hope man he's the same yeah and i hope it's it's it's a constant struggle because it's easy to just break up with someone but it's different when like that's baby daddy this different one that's baby mama and there's a
Starting point is 00:41:28 deep love there's a deep care you look at that baby every day and that's your partner that may create this thing with you know for the say to the baby, you always want to give the relationship like a fair shot. So, you know, maybe the baby's like really young, maybe like months old. And so she's like, well, maybe things can turn around and still, you know, the baby still hasn't necessarily, quote unquote, seen anything or knows anything because it's young. Like we can still work it out and fix this. Yeah, but it's like, no, no. It's just like, yeah, he's like showing you in your face.
Starting point is 00:41:55 Like, this could be as good as it gets. It could get worse. It's probably, that's what I don't want it to get worse either. That'll ruin the whole thing. I'm not sure how old Mandy is, but sometimes too. It's like, I don't know, there's this thing that you kind of just feel like this is, this is my baby daddy. Like this is, not that this is the best I can do, but I don't know if I could do anything after this. Clearly, like, we talk about it all the time when people are like, I don't want people with kids.
Starting point is 00:42:16 I don't want kids. That's something they have to live with and they think like, dang, no one's going to want me. Yeah, besides this person. That could keep you in something that's not necessary for you. And I think just having gone through it where, dang, I don't, I didn't know. And they tell you that. And like, their family will tell you that. No one's going to love that kid like their dad.
Starting point is 00:42:34 No one's going to love you like him. Everybody I was going to judge you for it. All of this time and the third. There's things that are meant to keep you in this really bad place. Yeah. All you got to do is get through it. And then you'll be like, oh, like, once you do that, and it's a crazy thing because you might feel super weak right now.
Starting point is 00:42:49 Yeah. But once you get over that and you see, oh, I went through that. The other stuff is easy. Mm-hmm. You won't put up with someone treating you a certain way after that because you already went through it with someone that you had a baby with. Yeah. You're not going to put up with that from a nasty boyfriend or someone
Starting point is 00:43:04 in your life that's like that. It'll help. You're going to be so surprised at how strong you end up at the end, but you got to go through it. Yeah. You got to be able to make those steps to, like, not be there. It's like character development. True.
Starting point is 00:43:15 It is. And it's not true that, you know, nobody will want you if you have a kid because, single moms. Yeah. I want that. Oh, now you want a single mom, Greg. Hey, no. Why are you burning me out right here?
Starting point is 00:43:27 You're the one that's saying like, oh, yeah. Yeah. Ooh, single mom. Give you another one, girl. Give you another one. But Mandy, I have a feeling you're not going to. this to us. We got some new information.
Starting point is 00:43:37 Mandy sent us a DM back. She said, basically I learned he got a court case on him. Oh my gosh. For the thing he wanted back from his ex. I don't know what it could be. Sounds like a gun. I don't know. But it's alleged evidence and he's already on trial because she turned it into the court.
Starting point is 00:43:51 So it's just like. Yeah. It's even worse. It's even worse. You even take that out of it. There's the only fan stuff. I mean, take that out of it. There's a stripper stuff.
Starting point is 00:43:58 You take that out of that. There's the stuff where you don't work. No job. Yeah. There is like multiple things. Yeah. Mandy, good luck, baby girl. Mandala.
Starting point is 00:44:06 Yeah. He was here, it's 5-106. What? I was like, no. No, what? What are you talking about? What are you talking about? No, nobody said anything.
Starting point is 00:44:18 I'm kidding, I'm kidding. Me and Greg look like PE teachers today. Why? Because we're wearing these pants look. Oh, like the material. The nylon ones? Oh, yeah. All right, guys.
Starting point is 00:44:31 I ring too, actually. Yeah. All right, let's do some. Some sluys. Vic, go on a mile. You need a whistle. And it's like navy blue. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:42 When I would run a mile at my middle school, it would be like four laps around the track. And I would run it so slow that I would just run three. And then they would think it was four. Yeah, because I don't look like I'm slow, but I'm pretty slow. No, we know you are. We see you run, brother. I see you skip too. Like I've never been big, but I just, I was never that fast.
Starting point is 00:45:00 We're trying to be on our fit journey now. Yeah. That's what we're trying to do. Yeah. Yeah, we all are. I have work. All right. Somerada.
Starting point is 00:45:08 Hey. Sambra Sala with Angie. Okay, this one's going to get nasty and it's not my fault, okay? Like nasty, like. Like nasty? Yeah. I've been nasty girl. It's like somebody's mama.
Starting point is 00:45:24 Oh, nasty. Listen, listen, listen. Tokyo Tony Black China's mom. She's getting backlash because she's putting Black Chinas or her daughter's business out there for the world to see. So, Tokyo, Tony. She's part of a new podcast called Auntie Podcast, right? And it's herself, Black China's mom,
Starting point is 00:45:42 Carlissa Blueface's mom, and Tia Cam Brick Ross's ex, baby mama. Wow. So, base of those three, you guys know, like, the one. I wonder how it originated. They were probably all part of, like, shade room posts. And they were like, you know what we should do. This might work. Remember Tokyo Tony and I can't believe I know this.
Starting point is 00:46:01 Tokyo Tony and Blueface's mom were beefing. Yay. Remember they were rat battling against each other? Oh, yeah. Oh, they squashed the beat and start a podcast. Trach and Kendrick and Rick and Rick, please don't go to this. No, please no. And then Rick Ross is actually just got mixed in the fold because of the recent stuff with Rick Russ.
Starting point is 00:46:17 Rick Ross. Yeah. Yeah. So you guys can already tell like the type of vibes that they're bringing. Yeah. 50 plus. Yeah. So their first guest was actually the game.
Starting point is 00:46:26 Oh my. And when Tokyo Tony brought him out, that's when she started talking about the game, the game, the rapper, the game. The rapper the game. Oh my God. That's when Tokyo Tony started putting. That China's... I don't know why he had to pop out to this. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:46:39 Yeah, bro. Okay, listen to the intro. This is where it gets like... This n-is about to come out to fuck my daughter I want to hear about. So he said, let's bring out the game. Why was that the intro? You thicker off the internet, huh? Huh?
Starting point is 00:46:55 You put a little weight on, huh, Tony? Always been this thick. I heard you talking about me. Always. I love staying on your mind. What is going on? Why are you talking like that? That was just the intro.
Starting point is 00:47:07 It's because game will give you the same energy you give him. Like, oh, we're going to try to talk smack. I'm right there with you. Like, I'm not going to come out shy. Oh, my God. He sounds like Shaq. But that was like, yeah, that was just the intro itself. He could have, you know, like she could have introed him a way different way, like five times platinum.
Starting point is 00:47:28 Yeah, she didn't have to be. Like, you know, Compton's on West Coast legend. Like, it was just like, he said with my daughter. He doesn't did my daughter. And I want to know how. I was. I got to hear about. And then towards the end, you guys saw how they were like a little, like, flirty going on, right?
Starting point is 00:47:41 Yeah. Because they got weird, letty. Like, then Tokyo starts asking the game about some, a picture of a certain part of his. Oh. They're asking him, like, hey, like, is this you? It got weird. Can you explain this dick pick? What dick pick?
Starting point is 00:47:56 I was sent a dick pick today. It's supposed to be you. It's supposed to be. You know that was me and my d'it. You're playing for, lady. You want to take five or something? I'll do it. I'll take one for the team.
Starting point is 00:48:05 Yes That's awesome He's a legend for that During the podcast is just wild To their podcast HR And they probably don't have one I feel like some hippa violations were
Starting point is 00:48:17 For sure Bro Yes the case started hitting on Nah that's legendary He's like you know that's a wild You know that's me for sure He's a wild boy For sure
Starting point is 00:48:25 So it got so uncomfortable Because like you said big Like there was another part where Tony did show the game like her hoo-ha. Hold on what? What? You mean like Vixet?
Starting point is 00:48:39 I didn't. Oh, well, he didn't mention that part. I didn't know that part. I really. Oh, what? No, I saw another part of it where Tia Kemp, which is Rick Ross Baby Mama, gave him a lap dance. Live on the podcast. Yeah, live on the podcast.
Starting point is 00:48:55 Like, she got on top of him. Br. That was wild. Like, it's after hours. Yeah. No. I don't know. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
Starting point is 00:49:02 And what he also said. Wait. Wait. Wait. I saw like a little piece of this where he said to Tokyo Tony. He said, hey, you know what? I've never said this, but your daughter ain't no slouch in the bedroom. And I was like, what?
Starting point is 00:49:16 And then she, I don't know what she was saying. She's like, where do you think she got it from or something? I don't know. She said something to that effect, right? And then right after that, that's when Tokyo flashes him. That's crazy. That is, I didn't see that part. It shows him, her nani.
Starting point is 00:49:29 Yes. That's the yes. Oh, wow. That's why I say it gets weird because then they're, start flirting. And this is for free, we don't have to pay for all of them? No, this is all for fans of podcast. This is on YouTube? Wait, right for they get to leave to this? Hold on. First episode?
Starting point is 00:49:44 Yes, dude. It got so weird. Well, how are they going to top that? Yeah. It got so awkward to the point that Tia had to come and like split them up and be like, hey, the game, like stop hitting on your million years. You know what it looked like to me. It looked like chocolate cottage cheese over. You give me vibes. You don't have the daughter now. You're trying to get at the mama. That's right, though. You ain't got it like that. Respect these aunties over here, nephew. He all right, though. Sometimes we need a little push-up. Ew.
Starting point is 00:50:08 I know. That's not his mother-in-law, though. No, but that's how they were making it seem like you slept with the daughter. Yeah. What did she say? Hold on, play the part one more time. Oh, it's her. You know what it looked like to me. It looked like chocolate, cottage cheese. You give me vibes. You don't have the daughter now. You're trying to get at the mama. That's right, though. You ain't got it like that.
Starting point is 00:50:28 Respect these aunties over here, nephew. He all right, though. Sometimes we need his little push-up. sometimes we need a little push-up yeah that's that's your game up Greg I need to just start yeah he's taking away your title Mr. Dia's favorite DJ
Starting point is 00:50:43 yeah that's the auntie's favorite rapper right there that's crazy I need to step it up to another level I didn't know his common knowledge that game was of Black China I had no idea about that I think everybody was shocked at that that to especially for it to just be like thrown out like that like that
Starting point is 00:50:59 I didn't know that yeah but right now Black China hasn't said anything. Well, I hope she doesn't. I mean, she's on a different path. She is. She's on her. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:51:09 So, I don't know what she would say to that. No, her mom. So Tokyo, Tony, she's been getting backlash for all of this, right? The way she's been acting, the way she talked, all that stuff. Talking about, like, China's business like that. Yeah. That she actually said, you know what? It's all TV.
Starting point is 00:51:24 It's all TV. It's like. It's all entertainment. Yeah. I don't know why I remembered vague when he's like, it's just, it's radio baby. It's radio. Yeah. But this is your excuse me.
Starting point is 00:51:35 That's a little far. It's a little much. It's a lot. I don't know if I could get away with that one. Yeah. Not at all. You can't. I'm going to tell you right now, you can.
Starting point is 00:51:41 If I want to talk about my we, digi, diggy, diggy, dig, dig, dig, dig. No, no. Craig, we're getting madden of it. What? It would be a problem. All right, that's it for Sobrasana. Here, tiki, tiki, tiki, tiki, tiki, tiki, tiki, tiki. That's my son, GERSALA, I'm MANTE.
Starting point is 00:51:56 Scrolling. The homie. The homie, Gregori. Letty. What's up, Dad? And Vic, what up? If you're thinking about putting your kids in content videos or any content on social media, you might have to start running them a check if you make any money off of it.
Starting point is 00:52:12 Wait, wait, wait, wait, what? Yes, in Illinois, a new amendment to the state child labor law went into effect July 1st requiring that children who appear in their parents or guardians' social media profile should be paid for their appearances. What if their parents aren't even paid for their appearances? Yeah. True. This goes more for like the influencer parents To have like millions of followers Because these little fools
Starting point is 00:52:35 Yeah And if we're gonna do that Then we're gonna start a tab Yeah And he's gonna start paying rent in this house Cause nothing is free Okay those cassidias Wait $40.
Starting point is 00:52:44 Yeah Okay, Bill Vic All those videos that you take on my phone That you're just running around the house chasing your brother And showing your cars You're paying for that That sometimes uploads to a brown bag
Starting point is 00:52:53 Yeah I'm sorry They're funny Yeah my YouTube is account is set up to the podcast account. Sometimes Orito's just running around saying things and then he uploads. It happens. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:53:05 Plenty of times. That's crazy. They're saying that children under the age of 16 should receive 15% of their parents' influencers. 15% of their parents. That's a lot. Yep. 15% of their parent. Influencer.
Starting point is 00:53:19 So this is if you have like a YouTube family. Yes. Yeah. Yeah. That makes sense. I think that should be less on the parent more on the company that's paying. Because sometimes like I don't know if you've had this. maximum,
Starting point is 00:53:30 Vic, but like sometimes brands reach out and they're like, hey, we want a family, we want this and that, but they're paying you only. And it's like, hey, if you want the family, if you want to see how I am with like this baby product, pay the baby. Exactly. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:53:42 Yeah. Got a talent fee too. You hear that? I'm going to take 50% of. Didn't you just ask you to get paid the other day? He did. We did a photo shoot. Shout out imagery by Oscar.
Starting point is 00:53:51 Did me a great favor by just being like, hey, no, I just want to do these for free. Father's son photos. I'm like, okay, cool. Thank you, man. because photographers cost. Yeah, they're expensive. So he wanted to do it.
Starting point is 00:54:01 I'm like, let's do it. So I'm telling Lil Vic, I'm like, hey, we have a photo shoot on Saturday. He's like, awesome. How much are we getting paid? I was like, Victor, what? Like, you're lucky we're not paying this dude. It's for us. Yeah, that's for us.
Starting point is 00:54:13 And he's like, having a moment. Can you at least buy me something after? I'm like, get in the car. Dude. Now he hears this because of Greg C. Now I'm so glad it's in Illinois. Yeah. And then I'm wondering, too, what influence our families live out
Starting point is 00:54:28 there. If anything, this is a very L.A. type of law, which I'm glad it's not here yet. Yeah. Because we've got to figure that out. Imagine if they did that here. Ryan's toy reviews? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:54:37 But it's a lot. I'm not too sure that that would. There's probably a hell of families over there that do influencer stuff. But it's like, I feel like the main place just for any type of influencer stuff is Los Angeles. Yeah. There's this father's son duo. I forget their name, but they just go out and like eat. They're like their East Coast like New York dudes.
Starting point is 00:54:55 You know kids on the Costco guy one? I think so. Boom or boom? Boom, yeah. It's like father and son. They look exactly like and like they're both big and they love to eat. And that I would understand like give the kid a cut. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:55:07 Because he's actively participating. Yeah, but if it's kind of like included a little bit in there, yeah, I don't know. But since you guys are technically influencers, you would have to no matter what. I don't think no matter what. I'm influencing the kid to get in the video. If I don't get paid for posting a photo. Uh-huh. Why would I pay my kid for being in that photo that I don't get paid for?
Starting point is 00:55:26 And I pay. I get if there's like a brand deal or some type of thing paying me for that. This is crazy. So does that mean that the kids start doing taxes too? See, that's a whole different thing. Now I'm going to start. Little Vic Yumbage is taxes. It's a part of a child labor law.
Starting point is 00:55:43 I'm pretty sure they're throwing them in there with the Disney kids and the. Yeah. Yeah. I don't know. They're saying that they wouldn't be able to access that money until they're 18. And then they would have to be part of your more than 30% of your content. So it's like you can't pose one video. of your kid and the type of video.
Starting point is 00:55:58 I'm blurring his face out. Yeah. So now. If a kid is part of your content as an influencer, which again, I'm assuming it's these family, it's these influencer families, right? Then they would need that type of a cut. Which I'm hoping you do already. But it's not, let's not you and Vig.
Starting point is 00:56:14 No, yeah, yeah, yeah. Because you're just showing that you have a kid, like you're showing your life, right? Yeah. But there's families that made, that monetize off their. There is their family. That's true. What, uh, ace family? I'm not too familiar, but I've heard it.
Starting point is 00:56:25 I think they broke up or something. Oh, really? Yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Well, I'm sure it was probably like all the kids. Yeah, yeah. But they have kids in that family.
Starting point is 00:56:31 The kids are part of the content. But now I'm thinking, okay, like, sounds like a great idea, 15%. But what if you have, like, 10 kids? That's what I was saying. I was like, would you? 15 divided by 100. Like, that doesn't even make sense. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:56:44 You know what I'm saying? Would you take a 50% cut of your pay for your kids? If they're part of it, if they're 30%, they deserve it. If they're in your stuff, 30%, they deserve it. Like, come on. You're also not a bad parent. True. But we're like,
Starting point is 00:56:57 like, they're not there for you. Uh-huh. If they're, these family pages, they're there for the whole family. More than anything, they're there for the kids.
Starting point is 00:57:05 The parents are there because they have to man the cameras and kind of like, that is true. Remember John and Kate Plus 8? Like, what would happen in that? You know,
Starting point is 00:57:12 there's eight kids. Octomomom had a whole TV show too. Yeah. Well, I think the TV shows, those things got it under control. It's now the social media aspect of it. Oh, there's a lot of them.
Starting point is 00:57:21 Entering into that same realm. I see, I see. I don't know. These kids are making more money to me. I hated it. Well, if your kid is taking 15%, then your manager's taking 15%, and then
Starting point is 00:57:32 you're, I don't know, it's just like, it's surviving a pie by lot. Yeah, the country getting crazy. Right. It's your kid, dog, it should be fine. I feel like, 50%. It's way too much for him. 50% of what? I made you. Now I've got to give you more. Like, what? I'm paying the rent. Exactly. Roos, the Gessonias. Don't forget.
Starting point is 00:57:49 That clothes, I brought you. Remember those egos other day? Yeah. You're going to start keeping that. Hell yeah. Keep all the receipts. We're going to play. We're going to play. So specifically for like Ryan's toy review, right?
Starting point is 00:57:59 Yeah. You start, if you were to see the videos from when they started, they're in like a simple house, right? Yeah. Then like they, you see their come up. Yeah. And it's more a come up for the parents. Like you see the parents dress differently, right? So then how do you look at the kid that everyone's there for the kid that's making the content?
Starting point is 00:58:17 Yeah. But the parents are the ones living it up in their crazy new cars and their big old house. It's like that also feels unfair. Yeah. No, I hate that kid. You're right. I hate that kid. They took the kid with them.
Starting point is 00:58:26 It's not like they left them. Yeah, but the kid is the reason that they have money. This is what McCauley called him divorce his parents. True. True. True. Emancipation proclamation. And there's the whole thing about that, what's that girl, that little girl, the beauty pageants on the TV show?
Starting point is 00:58:41 Who? Beauty pageant, little girl. Yeah, a little chubby girl. Oh, honey booboo. Same thing. The parents took all the money and stuff like that. Yeah. Then that's unfair to the house.
Starting point is 00:58:49 That's messed up. Okay, yeah, that's different. Different situations. This is a. Craig, you have no. Kids, what are you even worried about? Both the parents feel like it's fine. We're fine.
Starting point is 00:59:02 No, Vic is like, oh. Yeah, Vic's not an influencer like that. He's not a family influencer. But if it decides to, I'm not going to decide to. Yeah, don't. No, and I know to keep them in, just 20% of my content. Vic don't even like sharing cuts with me. Come on.
Starting point is 00:59:17 Yeah. Oh! You didn't say no. It's crazy. Wrap it up. All right. Thank you for that. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:59:26 Brown Bag. It's Brown Bag on Power 106. Number one for hip hop.
