Starting point is 00:00:00 It's Paro 106, brown bag mornings, what knows dia. Good morning to you. It is July 24th. Are we on a Wednesday? We're on a Wednesday. We're on Wednesday, my dudes. Okay, so we have to decide whether Vic is a good friend or not, all right? All right.
Starting point is 00:00:16 He's a good friend. What do you do? Hold on. This is not, it's just not like an overall opinion. Oh, okay. Not bad. So, you know all the flight delays that are happening, right? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:00:27 Like literally to this day, there's people like, stuck at LAA. Clearly all the other airports. A heavy one is like a Delta one. All the Delta flights are kind of like it's messed up. People are probably starting to eat their arms and everything at the airport. One of them being Vick's good friend. Yes.
Starting point is 00:00:46 V-F. F. F. Yeah. Vic booked a flight with him. They were supposed to go together. Yep. Thank God I to go.
Starting point is 00:00:54 Vic didn't go. Last minute he told him like, hey, bro, I'm not going. He left him. His friend. has been at the air in Atlanta he's been in Atlanta for I mean he just got back this morning what oh wait he was supposed to go back like come back on Sunday though like Sunday afternoon he's been stuck over there yeah for how many days since three days Victor bad bad bad bad is what makes me question his friendship they're not
Starting point is 00:01:22 concerned I'm hearing no I talked to him yesterday said he's all good but it's just like how I'm good, but you not when I see you. No, just how complicated that got. He's like, yeah, man, just spend like $800 at this hotel. And he's like, my original flight that you got me, you know, Delta's not working. So I just had to get another flight. So he's like, I'm probably in deep like maybe like $1,500. Wow.
Starting point is 00:01:47 Like, it's bad. Well, for Big Swift and for anybody else has been facing these delays recently, according to the Department of Transportation, the airline, which kind of was going to problems. Not specifically Delta, but a lot of people. There's a bunch of them. If you incur expenses for things like meals, hotel, or rides, you may be able to have them cover those costs.
Starting point is 00:02:09 That's great. Oh, okay. You can try. Besides like the voucher, right? Yeah. We'll give you more flyer miles or we'll give you more gas. That happened to my girl because she was traveling back the day after the shutdown and they were offering $2,000 per person to stay behind.
Starting point is 00:02:27 But she said the line, like, people were fighting and getting in line. To stay behind. And they're Miami. Yeah, true. That's up one airport to stay at. Go ahead. Go ahead. No, yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:37 It got so bad for Swift. He texted last night. He's like, finally got to Kansas City. I'm like, what are you doing in Kansas City? I felt like it's like with the movie, I'll be home for Christmas. Yeah. Just like constant delays and you end up in different cities. Poor guy.
Starting point is 00:02:51 The $1,500 is nothing. It's the arguments with his girl that he has to deal with. I'm sure. I swear, babe. There's no more. There's no money for that It's just It's just to prove it All right
Starting point is 00:03:03 Vick a good friend or not for booking it Not going with him And then laugh at him Bad friend Bad bad bad bad I had a feeling Like final destination Vick will make plans with you
Starting point is 00:03:14 But if you can't make the plans He's still doing the play He's like all right see later He's like all about it All right Thank God I go All right Keep it here
Starting point is 00:03:23 More Vic next Red Flag Erfals Filar Is power 106 At least no more for him up. Red flag. Red flag, everybody.
Starting point is 00:03:30 That's a red flag. Big red flag. Red flag. Or false alarm. It's Rosecrans, Vic, your red flag expert. Cheers. All right. Red flag or false alarm.
Starting point is 00:03:41 She goes through my Instagram followers and ask me who people I follow are. Oh. Red flag. Yeah, red flag. 100%. She could just be curious. Does she not want to eat? Hey, babe, who's this?
Starting point is 00:03:53 Does she not want to eat? Yeah. What? It could be like unintentional, like maybe stumbled upon an Instagram and then sees a mutual and then it's like, huh, you follow. Let me click. And then it goes and then it turns into like a rabbit hole thing. Why didn't mean my man follow the same beauty influencer? What are you following her for?
Starting point is 00:04:15 Can you teach you how to contour? I like her tips. Whoa. That was close. I mean, yeah, I've been through some. I'm just like, oh, cool. You know, and then you see, like, Greg follow somebody. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:31 And then Vic followed them, too. And I'm like, hold on. Why do you guys both follow her? But see, that's true. But is that a red flag? If we both follow her, yeah. I don't know. I think that's diverting from that.
Starting point is 00:04:46 Yeah, yeah. No, yeah. If it's just like a, you know, constant, well, not constant, but, like, pretty frequent, like, who's this? And who's this? And who's this? And who's that?
Starting point is 00:04:56 Yeah, that's pretty annoying. Like, it's annoying. I feel like you're just trying to start problems on no reason at this point. Yeah. Yeah. If you're going through like, who's that, who's that? Why do you like this? Why do you like that?
Starting point is 00:05:05 What do you like this? Like, my own business. My social media. Oh. Sorry. Hey, girl. Yeah. Signy you.
Starting point is 00:05:13 Yeah. Yeah. I think it's a red fly. Yeah. It is a red flag. I was in a relationship where it was like, I felt like I was on parole. Yeah. Where I was like, you questioned?
Starting point is 00:05:22 Like, what about this and what about that? Yeah. It didn't feel good. you know right it wasn't necessarily like a red flag but I think it was just like annoying to deal with yeah what if it was what if it was reversed where like you you're following somebody or you see like maybe like a rapper athlete and then you're like you see the mutuals and then your girl's name pops up yeah she's deleting her whole page yeah delete it is that red flag uh because you're not technically looking at her followers
Starting point is 00:05:50 but you're running into I think it's more of the asking about them yeah would you ask look through your person's followers. I like to eat. No. Following. Yes. That's the more telling. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:02 It's who your person's following. Any random person can follow you or your girl or your man. Exactly. Yeah. I don't want to ruin my day. That's why I don't look at her following. Oh my gosh. All right.
Starting point is 00:06:13 Ruining. Ruin it. We can't decide, but we need you guys to, we need you to call in and decide. Red flag or false alarm. She goes through my Instagram followers and asks me. me who people I follow are. And we have Sonia from Pico Rivera. I'm lying too.
Starting point is 00:06:30 Sonia. Sonia. Sonia. Yes. What's up, Sonia? Is this a red flag or a false alarm? It's a false alarm. Wow. Hi, Sonia. Talk to us. Okay, this is him saying that she goes through his following, right? Yes.
Starting point is 00:06:49 Following. Following. Like who he follows. His followers. Yeah. Right. Okay. I think it's a I mean a false alarm because it should be a red flag on me because you have a problem with me seeing who you're actually following. Wait, what? Are you doing a reverse window card?
Starting point is 00:07:06 Yeah, hold on. Explain that. I'm trying to. I'm just trying to grasp it. The fact you're thinking that what I'm doing it could be a red flag is a red flag on you. Oh. Because it's like guilty conscience.
Starting point is 00:07:19 I get you. Exactly. You wouldn't mind me checking your following if there was in someone there that you don't want me to know that you're following. I follow. This is a reverse Uno card. I follow you, Sonia, and Sonio is law.
Starting point is 00:07:32 She is the law. I don't know, man. I don't know about that one. All the alarm. On the lot of this, Sonia. I think you are the red flag. Yeah. Nope.
Starting point is 00:07:39 No. The listeners is the law. The listeners are the law. Just say Uno right now. You won. Uno. Uno. It's Par 106.
Starting point is 00:07:49 Brownback morning. Good morning to you. Good morning. And you and you. And even you. Have a great day, you. Have a great day, you. We got shout out to Greg Goryo.
Starting point is 00:07:59 Who do we shining out? I'm going to shout out. That's what I'm going to do. Me? You? No. Well. Oh, bro.
Starting point is 00:08:05 I just did that already, Doc. Lily Castile actually wants a shout out and says, sorry, Lettie, but Greg is right in this one. What? What one? When I get a migraine, I take 400 to 600 milligrams, abiprofen. Okay. Am I math?
Starting point is 00:08:20 Yeah, number one, stop putting everything on me. Ricky Bobby I get it I get it it's easy to blame the woman whoopty do but that's something that Maximo said yes not me I know we sound so much alike a maximum yeah you're just so easy to get us confused I know what's talking but also your guys pill addiction is not whether it's right or it's wrong is yours all right all right yeah yeah I'm a doctor and I am a doctor certified doctor certified doctor yeah crazy anyone to give a shout out to his amazing wife Justine for being an amazing mom and wife what you do bro and also shout out to my
Starting point is 00:08:58 bruh shout out to all the amazing wives and mom out there show you and you right yeah and you and he also wants to shout out his sister and brother-in-law lisa and george for getting us Disney tickets yesterday they had so much fun let's go oh yeah they had a blast yeah that's awesome and that's her shout out um hello you forgot to shout out someone's birthday Yeah. Wow. Wow. Who's birthday?
Starting point is 00:09:27 What do you mean? Who's birthday? The Leos of Allio's. The Leo of Allio. Oh, wow. Ain't it funny? This will forgot. Wow.
Starting point is 00:09:36 It's Jaylo's birthday. Boy. Happy birthday, Jaylo. You're a hater, dog. Why are you hating on J-Lo? Yeah, don't hate on J-Lo. Yeah, happy birthday. She's a little mean to Ben.
Starting point is 00:09:51 She don't mean that she don't deserve a happy birthday. You just want to hear her. I love you, puppy. I love you puppy. Oh, I like that. Don't say that you don't like it when she calls your puppy. Put her that talk. No comment.
Starting point is 00:10:00 I put it down for my brother like you. Shut up, baby, girl. Let's see what else who got in here. Actually, the whole weekend I was listening to J-Lo. I feel like that's your weekend, every weekend. No, I know. I really like Jaila's album, the one that came out like 10 years ago. We know.
Starting point is 00:10:18 Yeah, you're talking about it. Don't be mad at her for loving Jailo. Gosh, you guys are such haters. Yeah, we don't have a lot of J-Lo. Your orange drink when you listen to J-Lo as well? No? No, I'm not from the Bronx. Oh, good.
Starting point is 00:10:34 Hurry up so I can play in a funny fool. Happy birthday, J-Lo. We appreciate it. We wish more rings on you. If this one ain't work, you just go to the next. Your love don't cast a thing. Any guy that hates on you wishes that he could have a chance at you, okay, bro. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:48 Give one to the clippers. See, that's your home. That's your home. That's true. And the problem. Yeah, you should not be talking. Let the ring talk. Smack talk be for us, Laker fans.
Starting point is 00:10:59 Please, bro. I think we would all give her a ring. Let's be honest. Anyone will give a ring in two months. In two months? No, a ring and two months. No, you're not, bro. You stay until she dismisses you.
Starting point is 00:11:13 Cue it here is Paro 106. Word on Rosecrans. The word is Drake fans have made him a new video game. What? Amangelo Sif. Yeah, look, in response to Kendrick's Not Like Us video game, where he hits an owl pinata,
Starting point is 00:11:38 Drake fans have created a Family Matters video game where you feed Kendrick a Grammy every time he opens his mouth. Oh, wow. And this, of course, it's comedy. That's not a good. It's funny. Yeah. It's, of course, inspired by Drake's line on Family Matters where he says,
Starting point is 00:11:54 Kendrick just opened his mouth someone go hand him on Grammy right now and they have this little theme music that it's actually not too bad listen to this when he gets fed at Grammy he laughs oh my that's so creepy he also cries when he doesn't get a Grammy
Starting point is 00:12:24 it makes me want to play Zelda that's all it does it really does sound like Zelda just be like running through a forest and this is in response to Kendrick's video game not that Kendrick put up but also a fan-made video game where is it you you wop a piano You hit a pinata.
Starting point is 00:12:39 The Al Penaata. Yeah, every single time. Okay, is there something where, like, someone profits off both sides, whether one side wins or one size loses? Because I think it's the same video game developer. I don't think it's like Drake fans being like, oh, we'll get you back for that. And then them doing it. I think the same person that made the Kendrick video game. Probably made the Drake one.
Starting point is 00:12:59 It's possible because they're made in the same way. Yeah. Same style. You know, like theme music. Everything is, like, very, very. very similar, like mirrors each other. And, yeah, it was just, it's a trip. They didn't choose the side and stayed there.
Starting point is 00:13:15 Yeah, true. No, they're neutral. I think they are leaning more towards Kendrick, though, because I get that line, because Kendrick has incredible accolades, and then Drake is kind of going out of like, oh, he said something. Oh, whatever, but it's like, yeah, he did. He didn't just say something. He says incredible things, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:13:31 He made a point. He could have chose other disses. For sure. Like, it could have been, like, whatever a Pipsqueak is. Piping down a Pipsque. Making it pipe down. Yeah, there was other ones. There's other bars you could have done.
Starting point is 00:13:43 I'm not going to repeat them because I'm a good Kendrick fan. They don't matter to my life. And it's like feeding someone grammies compared to hitting a piñata. Yeah, that's kind of diss at all. Yeah. It's also like just showing that he has a lot of grammies. Yeah. Give him a Grammy.
Starting point is 00:13:56 Here you go. So you say like more effort was put into the Kendrick one? Not more effort. I definitely just do think that this is like even your diss to him is not a diss to him. Like example. again when little Wayne did the not like us version so it was not like us over it was over model yeah it was over the model right and he's basically saying then he took his out chain out like his to represent for drake so essentially being like no Kendrick you're not like us and then Kendrick's like yeah
Starting point is 00:14:29 that's what I'm saying like whether I say it or you say it we're not like each other that's the Same thing. Yeah, it's not a dissal, though you may think it might be. It's not. Okay, well, there's that. Yeah, exactly. I just think this person that created it, created it for both. I think so, too.
Starting point is 00:14:44 Yeah, I mean, I like it. I like the adding to the, like, this element to the beefs. And, I mean, I wish, imagine they did that to past beefs? That would be so cool. This one needs to work in Nintendo and make this a thing. Right. Because wasn't there like a hip-hop? There used to be the hip-hop.
Starting point is 00:14:59 I think there was a deaf gem. A deaf jamb and death. Yeah. By for New York. There was a depth-time video game. Bro, that needs to come back. Why was Fat Joe like the hardest person to beat? Really?
Starting point is 00:15:12 It was so random. Like the randomest rappers were just like the final boss. There needs to be that now. That would be so cool. Like a new version of it? Yeah. Oh, I would love that. I would love that.
Starting point is 00:15:22 I'm getting started. I'm having flashbacks. All right, look, Drake actually might have gotten himself into yet another beef. Oh, my God. This time it could be with Soldier Boy. Soldier. What? Yeah, last night, streamer Kaisenot was on stream,
Starting point is 00:15:37 and Drake actually sent him on exclusive sneak preview of a new song with Lil Yadi, and in it he mentions Soldier Boys crew name, SOD, which stands for Stacks on Deck. Okay. Listen to this exclusive... Exclusive sneak preview. Yeah. Sorry, my mouse is tripping. Okay, listen to this exclusive sneak preview.
Starting point is 00:15:58 Your mouse is your finger. Sorry, my finger's tripping. Oh, my laptop is that. I'm so hard. That's how exclusive it is. Wait. Get out of here. Get out of here.
Starting point is 00:16:13 I was excited. He was hired. He was hired by Soldier Boy. Right there. Let me see. Look, it's new Drake. He's hired by Soldier Boy to sabotage it. All right.
Starting point is 00:16:24 Tell me what the bar says, full. Without cursing. Okay. It's saying, it's saying, stacks on deck. Super Soke or something like that I'm not going to do it. Is Drake in the studio? I thought that was Drake right now.
Starting point is 00:16:38 Oh my God. But those are just as to Soldier Boy? Why? It could be because he's mentioned in his name and Soldier Boy does not like Drake. Yeah, Drake. He went on Twitter recently. Yeah, and then just even the infamous,
Starting point is 00:16:48 Drake. You know? So it's kind of like, if you already know this guy doesn't like you, why are you kind of like interpolating his music? That's what he's accused you of before. Yeah. So it's like now using his,
Starting point is 00:16:59 he could have said anything else. Yeah. Can he saying that? Oh. Oh, there's a ghost. Bro, it's the ghost. It's the ghost of soldier. What's going on?
Starting point is 00:17:08 No. Were you guys here? Oh, the ghost? Okay, play and then we'll talk about the ghost. Okay, I don't know what's going on. My laptop is literally tripping. The ghost. It's the ghost, dog.
Starting point is 00:17:16 Wow. Yeah, but see, Ante. Good job, Angie. The other day, so we're here super early, like, breakdown, right? Yes. The other day. Mona. Me?
Starting point is 00:17:25 I'm sorry. I'm sorry, I put it on mute. Just stop touching things with your mouse fingers. Okay, thank you. Great. Great. Greg and Ramona were in here. Yes.
Starting point is 00:17:35 And so when we're not on air, we hear the music that you're hearing, right? When we go on air, all the music stops and then you hear the mics. Like you hear us, right? So essentially the room is really loud when the mics are off. When the mics turn on, the room goes quiet. Yeah. And that's how it gets a little bit scary. When it goes quiet, we're like, okay, something's wrong, right?
Starting point is 00:17:54 Yeah, too quiet. So you two were in here and what happened? Yeah, so I was, I sit across the room from Mona. Like, she's really far. So you can look at her in their face? She can lock eyes. Mona. Lock eyes.
Starting point is 00:18:03 I can hear the music in the background, so I'm like, all, everything's cool, everything's fine, and then it just stops. So I'm like, what in the... So I run around to where the board's out, where you're standing, and everything's playing normal, but it's completely silent.
Starting point is 00:18:15 The only... I look at the board, and Vick's microphone is on, and nobody's been sitting there at all. At all. Vick's microphone is probably, like, far away, from Greg,
Starting point is 00:18:25 and probably, like, an arm's length away from Ramona. Ramona, it's not like you reached over and turned his mic up, right? She was nowhere near it. I was nowhere near it. It just turned on by itself. I had to turn off. It is also Vick's computer that's good.
Starting point is 00:18:37 Yeah. The ghost is on your ass. The ghost is on you right now, dog. What do you do from? Your karma, dog. I'm literally trying to go through my rolodex of things I've done. Things you're done. We could take all day.
Starting point is 00:18:50 Yeah. This could be anybody. This could be anybody. Is it the ghost of all the girls that ghosted? No, no, no. But it was only his microphone that was up and on. That's it. The only one.
Starting point is 00:19:02 Victor, that's scary. Do Olympia. I'm gonna do Olivia because that's weird. Yeah. Hey, let me crack an egg on you. No. Who are you, Brian Pumper? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:10 I feel like it's for what you did to God's daughter. Oh. All right. All right. Let's get away some tickets. Thank you so much. Yes, that was your word on Rose Kranzibh. I'm Rose Kranzvik for Brownback Mornings.
Starting point is 00:19:20 You got fast out of that one. Yeah. Yeah. This is Be Real from Cyprus Hill. What are you from, Eset? Where are you from, Eset? Don't you know I'm local? How'd you weather girl?
Starting point is 00:19:33 Girls, and if you're married to one, be careful. Ex-mayor, Antonio Virigosa, is now going to be running for governor of California. Wow. Not to put his business now blast, but hey, since we're doing it to Kamala, let's do it to the dudes too. This fool was married, and I was telling Angie, you know, his last name is actually like a mashup of his and his ex-wife's last names. Yeah. I'm not in his villa or via. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:03 And then I'm assuming her last name is Regosa. Yeah, Rogosa. So they meshed it via Regoza. And they divorced because he had the hots for a weather chick. Which one? She had really warm fronts. She had really warm fronts. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:18 He saw the horizon? Yeah. No, they don't do that. Oh. It was a very warm front, though. I see what you did there big. I don't have her name off top, but we found her name. Right?
Starting point is 00:20:31 What are you fools went on your little research? They went on the creepy deal. Excuse me. They're both of a sudden he doesn't remember. That led to the divorce of him and his wife. He still keeps that last name. That's wild. For governor of California.
Starting point is 00:20:48 We voting for him? Yes or no? Say it right now. I don't know where we stand on this. Corina. Her name is Corina. What's her last name? Rayagosa.
Starting point is 00:20:56 No, that's his wife. That's his ex-wife. See how she didn't keep the Villargoza? Yeah. Wow. Was Mithfala Salinas. What is it? What is it?
Starting point is 00:21:04 Mitzfala Salinas. Salinas. Salinas. Shout to Salinas. And he's being for Salinas. Yes, for sure he did that. But he seems to be a cool. Angie, you said that he's the only governor or mayor that I know.
Starting point is 00:21:17 He was always in the news for some reason. For his dating life. I don't know what he was there. And he, I think he showed up on episodes of the George Lopez show, if I'm not mistaken. Did he? He did content with George Lopez. I wouldn't put it past him. He's an enter type.
Starting point is 00:21:31 entertainer type. Yeah. Waffle. Nothing. We're just looking at weather. You're looking at weather girl. I need that's what you're doing. All right.
Starting point is 00:21:38 Shout out your favorite weather girl. Sol Perez. Oh my God. Jillian Barbary. I miss you, Bill. You're so dumb. Janet Garcia, I watch you on mute.
Starting point is 00:21:48 Bro. That's wild. Maximo, I didn't ask for years. Your favorite weather girl is your girl. She don't do the weather? Yeah, it's hot outside, babe. Babe, it's so cold outside.
Starting point is 00:21:59 It's so cold outside. They're losing. Yeah. Hey, babe, it's rainy. Should I wear a jacket or not, babe? Yeah. Oh, I hate that question. Okay, what's this one's name?
Starting point is 00:22:08 What did you say? Sol Perez. So, Perez, watch out. We got a new possible governor in town. She's 31 and she's 5'1. They have her stats or measurements? Yeah. What are you looking at?
Starting point is 00:22:21 About. Google. Google Images. Google Images is crazy. Very professional. Jenna Garcia is 5-6 and she's 33. Gillian Barbary is. Because she had a lot of personality.
Starting point is 00:22:32 I like her because she was funny. Back in the day, when I was getting ready for middle school, I would see her. Made me feel things. Oh, my God. That early? Yeah. Wait, that early in my life? Shut up to all the weathermen, too.
Starting point is 00:22:45 Because you probably got to compete with, like, the finest girls. And, like, these fools are just like, oh, yeah, I want you on you. Yeah, we're changing the channel on him. Bruh. You're changing the channel on Mark Criskey? That's so rude. No, that's the homie. That's really messed up.
Starting point is 00:22:59 Oh, all of a sudden. all of a sudden. Dallas rains? Dallas rains. That's an excellent name. For the mayor to be watching like Univision or whatever channel it was on. Salina, what was Salina Zan?
Starting point is 00:23:11 Ramona. You seem to know all this. Univision or Telemundo? Telemundo. So him just watching it and be like, I will risk my entire political career for this. And girls, by the way, like if you're trying to trap somebody, I'm not, I'm not like encouraging it.
Starting point is 00:23:24 But if you are, maybe that's the route to go. Forget only fans. Forget trying to be at the basketball games. Be a weather. Oh, yeah. Look how well it worked out for baby girl. That's with Jeff Basil's guys. I know.
Starting point is 00:23:35 Lauren Sanchez. She's good. Yeah. Dave. Okay, I'm going to quit right now. No, you're not. You have Marcus. You have Marcus.
Starting point is 00:23:44 You have Marquisition. Yeah. All true. You don't got to go anywhere. Hey, guys, it's hot outside. All right? You in here. It's 5106.
Starting point is 00:23:52 Simp or Pimp. B I am. Zip. Sip. Sip. Sip. Sip. Sip.
Starting point is 00:23:57 Sip. Sip. Sip. Yeah. What's up, Massimo? Yesterday, Dodger celebrated. Are you okay? You're going to go.
Starting point is 00:24:04 He's struggling over here. My headphones. They fell apart. They fell apart? They fell apart. Oh, I fall apart. Oh, I fall apart. You're trying to hold one with his hand.
Starting point is 00:24:16 Yeah, bro. Yo, everything's time over there, brother. Just getting you one. There we go. Yeah, no. I'm back. I'm back. There we go.
Starting point is 00:24:24 We're doing it. We're alive and will. What's the time. Yesterday was women's night at Dodger Stadium. Let's go. Yeah, shout out of that. Wow, who was wet on that? What?
Starting point is 00:24:34 What would you? Vic, that's crazy. There we go. First of all, I am a champion of women. What, up taking them down? No, of uplifting them. And then dropping them? And then taking them down.
Starting point is 00:24:52 No, before you get into that, shout out DJ charisma. She mixed that game. That is so fired. That is literally. No one like DJ charisma. For her to be at the Dodgers Stadium and be the DJ for the night, they need to book her the whole season.
Starting point is 00:25:07 Yeah. Because she's killing it. I approve that message. All right. What else happened? So, yeah, so because of celebrating Dodgers women's night, the Dodger reporters were going around asking the players, who was their favorite women athlete?
Starting point is 00:25:21 Nice. Do you guys have a favorite woman athlete? Yes. I'm sure Vic has a plethora. Caitlin, no, Angel Reese. Lisa Leslie Angel Reese You like me a ham a lot
Starting point is 00:25:34 Yeah Back in the day USA soccer team Yeah it was cold I didn't just start Liking women athletes Serena Williams Serena Williams
Starting point is 00:25:42 Yes Because of her I try I know how to play tennis Her and her sister I'm Sidenna Williams You are Yeah
Starting point is 00:25:48 Michelle Alicia Smith She's a runner She's a runner She's a drag star Oh what about that girl that was a softballer That was like really good
Starting point is 00:25:58 You're such as a supporter of her, bro. Bro, Jessica Something. Jessica Flores? Jessica. Jessica. Jessica Simpson? Angie, what about you? What about you?
Starting point is 00:26:11 No, I already said Serena. Serena. Serena. Very beautiful to me. Oh, my God. Yeah. That's my girl right there. All right.
Starting point is 00:26:19 Nice. But you like her because she's great at her sport, not because she's very beautiful, right? Both. Okay. I just want to make sure that we're choosing our athletes athletes for their abilities and for all the hard work they put. Jessica Mendoza. There goes.
Starting point is 00:26:33 All right. Oh, not the other dog's yeah. All right, but as a soccer player. She was really good at softball. All right, well, the Dodger players are answering, and this is what they were saying. Listen. Favorite athlete is probably Mia Hamm. You know, I played with No More, so I got to see that,
Starting point is 00:26:49 and then, you know, all the stuff that she did. Is that Kirschaw? Yeah. Wow. Wow. Oh. The best female Atriena Williams. Great cool.
Starting point is 00:26:57 So, Serena Williams. So, Tijuana Williams. Favorite female athletes, probably, Kate and Clark. So the Dodgers were answering, and then they went to Otani and listened to what he said. Who's your favorite athlete? My wife. No hesitation! My wife, my wife, he's my wife.
Starting point is 00:27:17 Yo, he said my wife turned around and just hit the gentleman left. He better say his wife. What did I say when he announced he got married to like a vet? What was he? He said she's an average, what is it? Yeah, an average woman. Yeah, she's an average woman from my country. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:34 And it's like, she turns out to be like a professional. A baller? Baller? Basketball players. She's really good, yes. That's, I love that. So it's just funny because, you know, some of them are explaining why. And he's like, my wife.
Starting point is 00:27:45 And then he just turned around. Like, don't ask me no more. Every answer is my wife. I love it. You can never go wrong there. I love how careful he is. Like, it's like, there's like, there's like a charm to it of like how careful he is to not say the wrong thing in the media.
Starting point is 00:27:58 Yeah. They're like, but you know, he's lying. You know what I'm not lying? He's lying. She's an incredible. Oh, about that.
Starting point is 00:28:05 Yeah, no, but I'm saying in general, like, he'll always say like the safe answer. What do you mean he's lying about the whole betting situation where his...
Starting point is 00:28:12 No, no. No, it's just certain times. What is he lying about? He doesn't lie, bro. They ask him certain questions he gives the safe answer. It's a smart answer. Oh, Tony,
Starting point is 00:28:20 how do you feel about the home run today? Yeah, my wife. But then you see him like goofing off with his teammates and you're like, dude, This is a different guy. It's like the real him?
Starting point is 00:28:28 Yes, the real him. I saw I'm dancing in the dog out yesterday. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. What are you guys talking about? My wife.
Starting point is 00:28:36 All right. If your girls and like, for example, you guys are on the radio right now. Yeah. If they ask your girls, hey, who's your celebrity crush? They're not saying me. And they say you. Are they simp or are they lying? Yeah, they're lying and they're lying.
Starting point is 00:28:49 So they actually have, they can say someone else. No, no, no, they have to lie to me. You have to lie to me, girl. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. Yeah. If I'm not your celebrity crush, come on. Yeah, unless it's like Al Pacino or something, I don't care.
Starting point is 00:28:59 That's worse. That's weird. That's not weird. That is weird. He's putting you and Al Pacino in the same category, the same level. I don't care. He's an old man. You know what's, but if it's, what's Angie's celebrity crush?
Starting point is 00:29:15 Marcus. No. Shut up, O'Brien. Theo James. If it's Theo James, if it's Dio James, I'm super mad. Why? Because it's like. It's an obscure.
Starting point is 00:29:27 A lot of girls knew who that was. Two. Okay. So is it simple pim that Otani answered his wife when asked who his favorite female athlete was? I don't think so because what if legit, it is his favorite female athlete. He's lying. I think she's. Because she's an athlete.
Starting point is 00:29:47 Yeah, but she must like she's probably good, but she's not like top tier. They didn't say the best female athletes. They said your favorite. Yeah. He asked her correctly. I mean, it's one of those instances to me where it's like, it's so simp, it comes back around as pimp. Right. He made the right.
Starting point is 00:30:04 He played the safe. He said the right thing. He did. He's scimped and pimped. He's going to go home and not get in trouble. They're shaking and they're sick and put him. Exactly. They'll never know the truth.
Starting point is 00:30:13 Nobody will ever know how he actually feels about it. He really feels like it's his wife. He needs points. He needs extra points for the no hesitation. Yeah. My wife. The sentence didn't even finish? He's doing that as he's walking away
Starting point is 00:30:26 All right. Sim. Sim. Sim. Oh, Pimp. Simp and Pimp. Simp and Pimp. Simpim.
Starting point is 00:30:34 Tell me how blind up next. It's Parano 6. What? You talk right before we go on air, Maximu. What do you want to say? Well, because Leffi is accusing me of not being a good friend because I didn't tell her, Carol G. When you're a bestie right here. I'm paranoid of all you fools.
Starting point is 00:30:50 None of you guys have my best interest. Wow. Only Greg, because he came early for me. help me unload stuff from my car I woke up really early yeah I'm a great day now yeah great day what makes you a great day in about that I'll say I'm having a great day
Starting point is 00:31:06 oh yeah I heard you're a great day I felt a great day Carol G had a concert I promise you we're gonna get into Homey Helpline yeah we're having a discussion off air we are and Maximo and Andrea like oh did you see the Carol G concert they're like yeah we start and I was like wait hold it and I'm wearing my Carol G shirt
Starting point is 00:31:24 She live streamed her last, and she's been touring this album forever. Manana Serra Bonito. We went at the Rose Bowl. It was vibes. But she had her last show. And she live streamed it. She did. And no one told me.
Starting point is 00:31:37 And then Angie was like, I thought you knew it's all over Twitter or whatever. Trending on Twitter. But on Tuesdays is like my locked up days because the boys have baseball and basketball. Yeah. Their schedules are crazy. And it was just insane. And I was just going on air giving them both ojo for being. bad friends and no one telling me.
Starting point is 00:31:56 Yes, I probably should have known on myself. I know I'm an adult, but that's what you need friends for. Sometimes you need a little reminders. Especially if they were watching it. Okay, it's a thing if neither of them watched it, but if they were watching it... I didn't watch it. I didn't watch it. I didn't watch it.
Starting point is 00:32:11 I watched clip on Twitter. She's a lie. You couldn't send me a clip for as much reels that I sent you? I literally hit up yesterday and yesterday, hey, how is your mouth? Are you fine? Do you want to take another day off? You didn't tell her? She did.
Starting point is 00:32:29 Look, it's all over Twitter. That's what I was watching. That's what I was watching. You weren't watching our friendship. So you saw it on Twitter. You weren't nurturing that. You saw it on Twitter and you were like, oh, Carol G. You get a Twitter.
Starting point is 00:32:41 Yeah. I just got very left out. And then I went to Carol G's page to see if I could go watch the YouTube live stream and she has it private. And I'm like, oh, I'm so upset. Imagine you were to saw it live. Not even better, huh? The thing is that I communicated with both Angie and Maximo yesterday.
Starting point is 00:32:55 At different times of the day Like I repeatedly hear you up yesterday in Maximum You said I hated Carol G So I was like oh she might think I hate Carol G I love her You watch just to hate you look at her stupid wig Look she's wearing that stupid wig She looks
Starting point is 00:33:10 She looked great She looked better with the blue wig Letty could have had like a little mini watch party at her house Right It would have been so tight to do that While I was in the hot hot sun And my boys T-ball practice bruh
Starting point is 00:33:21 Yeah You could have been dancing Listening to Carol G while Yeah All right, whatever you all. That's okay. Friends like ours. All right, check this out, homie. You need a homie or need some help.
Starting point is 00:33:32 We need your help. We'll need a line. I mean, phone line. We've got you for the homie help line. All right. This person needs our help. Anonymous. Anonymous person needs our help.
Starting point is 00:33:47 Should we just give them a name? Well, let's hear the story and then we'll give them a name based on the story. All right. So they said, I need a homie help line. My company is going to fire my sneaky link. And I can't say anything. They said, I've known for over two months and it's eating me up inside. I've started keeping my distance and ignoring her messages to avoid accidentally saying something.
Starting point is 00:34:11 She's a hothead and I feel that if I tell her and she explodes at management or throws me under the bus, I'll also get fired. At the same time, I feel guilty for not giving her a heads up because the job market is rough right now. know. Things have not been going well between us, and I was already planning on ending things with her. But as her friend and longtime coworker, what should I do? So as a sneaky link, this is great for me. Right, I'm getting rid of her.
Starting point is 00:34:40 Yeah, but as a co-worker, I feel bad. I'm a friend. I should tell you that. Yeah. Well, how does this person know that her sneaky link is getting fired? She's probably tight with management. Yeah. Or she's overheard.
Starting point is 00:34:53 They got a new sneaky link. I was about to say she got a separacy. You don't have to be sneaky league in management to be tight with them. True. Don't put that. Don't put that on us, Bricky movie. Okay, but she knows her sneaky link is about to get let go. She doesn't want to tell her because she also knows how her sneaky link is.
Starting point is 00:35:15 Very, very, like a hot head. And Loki will probably say, so-and-so told me. Facts. Oh, yeah. Let's call her Dolores. Dolores, this hurts. Yeah, because this hurts. All right, Dolores wants to know.
Starting point is 00:35:28 That's right. What to do about her sneaky link about to get fired. She doesn't want to say anything only because she doesn't want to get caught up to and get fired too. And it kind of low-key would be good for her because she was ready to break off with the sleeping like anyway. She was tired of it. Look at God. Yeah. She's a hot head and you try and break up with her?
Starting point is 00:35:48 And still stay at work with her? No, no. She don't blow up. And so, but she also knows, dang, I don't want to kind of. kind of ruin her life either. It's hard out here to get a job. Should I, like, I do, I care for her. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:00 As a friend. Yeah, I just don't want to snack on her during break. Right. I had enough of that. Yeah, enough of that. Losing a little salty. Sneak link, that's like, too. Oh, that hurts.
Starting point is 00:36:10 You know what? A job and a sneaky link? Ah, yeah. On the other side. Yeah. Oh, she's going to be heartbroken. So what should Dolores do? I'm going to tell you right now, we try to get Dolores on the phone.
Starting point is 00:36:19 And she was like, no, I'll get fired. Yeah, she did say that. Very paranoid. She's like, can't get paranoid. Yeah, yeah. It is a rough job market. And then she added, she's like, we were dating for like three years and we've been co-workers for six years.
Starting point is 00:36:31 Oh, this is a long. That's a long, yeah. And I guess she runs the, because she could literally do nothing, like just literally just shut up. Don't say nothing. And like what's going to happen is going to happen. But it's running that risk of like, oh, you knew. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:47 Oh, yeah. And like her being able to like Dolores kind of not being able to prove that she didn't know. Right. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. It's a little tricky. I get what you're saying, but I think she could act like she don't know what's going. I feel like that too.
Starting point is 00:37:02 Unless she's a terrible liar. Yeah, that's probably what it is. And it does make sense that it's going to happen either way. Like, like, yeah, she's gone. Like it was written, Mactube. I'm reading the Alchemist and they say that throughout the whole book and that means it was written. Maktoub. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:37:18 You can't change what God already has planned. She's going to have a guilty conscience too about it. me. Yeah. But if you say something, now you're both out. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, don't say anybody.
Starting point is 00:37:29 And now you're both unemployed together. Oh, no. And then she thinks this is a major relationship stronger. And you're like, no. At that point, you don't got a sneaky link at all. You got nothing to do all day. Y'all just linking. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:37:41 You're right. For copy. Yeah. Update that LinkedIn. Sneaky LinkedIn. Did Dolores tell her sneaky link at work that they are about to get fired? Or should she stay quiet about it? It's eating.
Starting point is 00:37:53 at her conscience, okay? That's what it is. It's Power 106. All right, check this out, homie. You need a homie or need some help. We need your help. We need a line. I mean, phone line.
Starting point is 00:38:04 We got you for the homie help line. Dolores needs our help. Her sneaky link is about to be on LinkedIn. So Dolores has been with a sneaky link. With the sneaky link, she's known her for, a while and for over two months. She's been on her for six years, six years.
Starting point is 00:38:28 She's known her for three. Yeah, you didn't write that down so they don't remember. It wasn't here. Yeah, I don't know how you knew. She's DMed. Oh, that's right. Yeah, okay. Yeah, so she's known for over two months that
Starting point is 00:38:40 her sneaky link is going to get let go. First of all, that company has to do that stuff quickly. Yeah. Over two months is wild. That's true. Two months is a wild. Hate companies like that. misery.
Starting point is 00:38:52 Cut him off. So recently, like, she started to kind of ignore her, create some distance because she feels guilty that she knows this information that she probably shouldn't know. And she doesn't want to let it slip out, like, you know, hey, maybe you should look for a job. Wait, why do you say that? I don't know. No reason. Because the little something's a hot head.
Starting point is 00:39:11 You don't want her to trip up on the boss or say, hey, so and so. The Lord has told me now you're both out. And clearly if she were to go to the boss, probably the boss knows you know. And boom. Who knows about you? The only one that knows. Knows your little talker. It knows we can't trust you.
Starting point is 00:39:27 Makes sense. All right. So she wants to know what she should do. Her conscience is eating at her. Yes, she can stay quiet. But for how long, if it's already been two months and it hasn't happened. She's also kind of tired of being the sneaky link with this girl. But she does care about her.
Starting point is 00:39:42 Yeah. She knows it's hard out here. I think anyone would benefit from like a heads up. Right. You know what they'd start looking for a job before they fire you in two more months. Because it's a long time. Hey, bro, you should quit. They're about to mind.
Starting point is 00:39:56 Yeah. All right. What should she do? We got Jorge from what you're on the line. What's the order? What's the word? Good morning. What's up?
Starting point is 00:40:05 How are you? What's tough? What's stuff? Let's tell you guys over there. Keeping it real. Come on. Shout to you, too. All right.
Starting point is 00:40:13 Talk to us, Jorge. What would you tell Dolores? All right. So, first of all, I want to say, if Dolores is try to give them like some type of heads up. That's because you definitely want to keep them around right in the long run, you know, just in case you've got to go back. Yeah, it's a her, by the way.
Starting point is 00:40:30 Oh, sorry, her, her. No, it's her and her sneaky link. Yep. Got it. So I would say, you know, include herself in the situation of the possible, you know. Firing? Letting go. Firing, yeah.
Starting point is 00:40:45 Wow. You know, some suggest some heads up is better than no heads. of you know how would you do it what would you say what would you say to the sneaky yeah drop hints I'll just be like you know what hey I've heard some rumors I don't I don't I can't give out any names but I heard that we might be letting no we might be hitting the boot we might be including yourself yeah I'm gonna start applying I suggest you probably do the same because you know times are tough and we can do we need a job and you know we got to look out for ourselves yeah and you
Starting point is 00:41:21 You know, some heads-up is better than no heads-up. And that way, if she wants to keep them around, you know, in the future, be like, hey, I gave you heads-up, like, you know. And Jorge, what happens if when the other girl gets fired and not Dolores, like, oh, they fired you? Oh, was you? Oh, I don't know. Huh?
Starting point is 00:41:40 At least you give them something to the top. Yes. At least it was a heads-up, you know? Yeah, but, like, then you find out, like, hey, that wasn't an us thing. That was a me thing. And you knew. Wait a second. Yeah, maybe not say us.
Starting point is 00:41:51 just made me be like they didn't start firing people never admit never admit never admit i like that holden stick to that never admit deny deny deny never admit it never admitted but now i didn't know i heard i was just i heard it was you know a couple of us i couldn't i didn't know what names but i guess it was it was i never want to admit it nice i kind of like this job i like that yeah i thought it was me too i was right there with you yeah we're good resumes together all right we got to go to tristan in Buena Park. Tristan. What's up, Dan?
Starting point is 00:42:23 Hello. What's up? Hello to you. What's up? Tristan, why are you coming in hot like that? Oh, way. What? Hello.
Starting point is 00:42:32 All right, what's up, bro? What would you tell Dolores about the situation? Her sneaky link is about to get fired. She knows, but she also knows that her sneaky link, this girl is a hot head. And if she were to know, she would then turn up on the bosses, on everybody, and And then they would both be gone. Yep. All right.
Starting point is 00:42:53 So I had a personal situation that was similar to this. No. And, yeah. Yeah. So I had a hot head, too, at work. I love hot heads at work. Yeah, hot head at work. I was rebounding off of the situation.
Starting point is 00:43:11 And I probably shouldn't have been in the situation. But, like, my advice, ultimately, let her get fired. Ah. Yeah. don't say anything like don't say anything to management because it's like if you're if you say anything and you rope yourself in and they know you probably have some unprofessional relationship at work or whatever the case is and you just might ultimately get fired because of that like my advice is if you are already going to break up with this girl then let things happen naturally let nature take it so when they fired your sneaky link and you knew about it you just were like oh man that's crazy That's why I don't know. Yeah, like, yeah, like, oh man, for real, like, I didn't even, damn. Oh, he's such a good actor.
Starting point is 00:43:58 I'm not. Yeah, I believe you. But we're still going to see each other, right, Tristan? But we're still going to see each other, right, Tristan? Right, right. Right, yeah. Oh, Tristan. Can I stay at your place while I'm looking for work?
Starting point is 00:44:14 No. No. I just lost my job. Tristan. You said that if it wasn't because of work, we wouldn't be sneaky. Like, that's the only reason why you're sneaking. Now we can be out in the open, Tristan. Yeah, open up somewhere else.
Starting point is 00:44:33 Yeah. Hey, Tristan, you're a G, bro. I know. No, no way. What? What? Anyone but you. Tristan, she's like, hey, but the new hires, though.
Starting point is 00:44:46 Yeah. I'm in my psycho repeat to tell. Oh, Tristan, you're the problem full. Yeah. Tristan. All right. We got Alexis on the line. Alexis from Norwalk.
Starting point is 00:44:57 What's up, Alexis? Alexis. Alexis. Good morning. How are you? Oh, hi Alexis. You sound like sunshine. How are you?
Starting point is 00:45:05 I am sunshine. There we go. I like that affirmation. All right. Talk to us. What would you tell Dolores? Well, I work in HR. And I've learned to just listen and don't say.
Starting point is 00:45:19 keep your mouth shut so don't say nothing and when your sneaky link gets fired you can help her find a new job but okay okay you work in HR nice so you know when people are going to be fired you know everything HR knows all the treatment you like she sees like dead men walking yeah yeah Alexis yeah Alexis hold on hold on hold on and like like do you treat them nicer because you know they're about to like get the boo or like do you ever try to give a heads up like oh do you try to avoid them before you do it? Yeah. Well, the good thing about my position is you don't really have to see them.
Starting point is 00:45:54 So it's like other, other, you know. Yeah, other people, you know. Yeah, they only see you when they're getting fired. You're the grim reaper. Oh, the grim reaper. Right. Here I thought you were sunshine, Alexis. Ah.
Starting point is 00:46:09 Here I thought you were sunshine, Alexis. You lied to me! You are hello darkness, my old friend. Oh, my God. Alexis in the hallways. Who's it going to be? I do agree, you know, at times are rough with the job. So, you know, don't put yourself in a situation where you're going to get yourself fired as well.
Starting point is 00:46:27 Ah, don't do it to yourself. She's not worried it. Wow. If people were actually doing their job, they wouldn't get like, Alex. You know what Alexis walks around in your ears? Oh, yeah. Your jaws. Bro, why do all HRs have this nice cheery purpose?
Starting point is 00:46:47 personality. That's true. Our girl Nina sounds exactly like you, Alexis. Yeah, she's so sweet. She's like, she scares me. She's very sweet. Hey, can I see you after your shift? Yeah. When's the most recent time you were in there when someone got fired? Like, how long ago was it? Not that long ago? Last week. She's saying it eight hard terms. Yeah. But we don't work with you. I love it. You can tell us. All right. Okay. Okay. What? What? You can tell us. All right. Okay. Okay. What? We're saying. We're saying it. We're What about this part, Alexis, of the story? The fact that this girl has known for two months, like, does it really take that long to fire somebody?
Starting point is 00:47:29 Or are they, like, you think that manager is looking for a reason or something like that? Sometimes it does take a while. I mean, if they are, let's say they're building up a case against the person, it does take a while. It really depends on the situation. Damn, what are you all the feds? I do want to know. This ain't a Rico charge?
Starting point is 00:47:50 Yeah. What gets cases? built up. I'm just wondering for hooking up in the friend. This is where I got to just stop talking. Thank you for all the intel. I appreciate
Starting point is 00:48:03 that. That was a typical HR. Of course, of course. Of course. It's not H-car. She can't get off the phone fast enough. I can either confirm nor deny. I'm trying to get all the secrets. I know you were.
Starting point is 00:48:17 I know you were. Hey, but Dolores, Cagita. Yeah. Don't say in. Cajita, Te best more beautiful. That's what my dad always tells me. You didn't say anything about this relationship for six years. What's another couple months?
Starting point is 00:48:28 Yeah, it was sneaky the whole time. Yeah, be sneaky about this. A sneaky firing. Let me go that way. All right, I'm telling you right now because I know this thing is going to fill up, and I want you to get in on it before this goes online and then all like the other accounts that aren't even listening to the morning show, get in on this. Starting point is 00:52:06 Okay. Keep it here. It's Power 106. LA's number one for hip-hop. Scrolling with the homies. The homie Gregorio. Hey, Letty. A lot of people's food opinions are making the world angry with a super, super viral question.
Starting point is 00:52:22 Super? Oh, okay, a little nasty. We'll like some food. Super happy. The world's making man. How man are you? I'm Superman. Super food.
Starting point is 00:52:37 All right. We won't clown you. Viral question on Instagram that was asked. And the famous question is, what is an unpubal? popular opinion you have about food. Okay. And people were commenting their opinions, their popular opinions. Crazy.
Starting point is 00:52:53 There are I know. Right? How mad did it make you? Very. Super. Super. Super. No, I'm not going to say it again.
Starting point is 00:53:03 No. Come on, Greg. Gwegg make me super mad. Quez, don't you can get, Gweig. Quig. Quig. Gweg be mean to me. All right.
Starting point is 00:53:17 That was scrolling. All right, Greg. Try it again. Hey, Leffi. A lot of people. Now you can't even talk anymore. All right. Play the thing.
Starting point is 00:53:28 Play the thing. There's no audio. You're making me super mad. The question is, what's an unpopular opinion you have about food? We have about food. Oh, good. You heard that. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:53:47 My ketchup on my crotch. Yeah, and people commented their un-compan. I don't care anymore, but what? Maximo, you saw these two, right? I don't like Boogli. I don't like the quest. Woo. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:54:06 I'm sorry. There was something here, but it left. Alright, we'll do this in another day. Power 106, LA's number of hip-hop. The Cheesman will Angie is coming up next. Sambra Sala with Angie. All right. If your parents still have pictures of you and your ex together.
Starting point is 00:54:30 Oh, I know. You're like, oh, wow. Okay. If your parents still have pictures of you and your ex together at home. You're not alone. You're not alone, Greg. Finally. Because Angelina Joliet's dad apparently does the same thing with Brad Pitt and
Starting point is 00:54:50 Julina's ex-husband. Oh, well, I get it. I mean, I would have pictures of Brad Pitt. Brad Pitt all over my kids. He does Brad. No, but they're going through a bad divorce. Yeah, bad divorce. The kids are choosing size.
Starting point is 00:55:02 They're like going on about assets. Like, they hate each other at this point. Yeah, it's really bad. But her dad is also an actor, right? Yeah, yeah, her dad. So it could just be on some acting stuff like, this is a fantastic actor. He's Brad Pitt. Why would I not have him in my house?
Starting point is 00:55:18 No, so what's crazy is that John Voight, he was. being part of an interview, right, at his home. And the journalist, Astor actually wrote on it on the article saying, you know what? He has pictures of Brad and Angelina together on display at his home. Wow.
Starting point is 00:55:36 And it's like... I don't know. It's been eight years. They divorced eight years and like the whole settlement is still going on. Like like you said, it's like it's a bad divorce. I've never seen a guy put up a picture frame. And I say that because I doubt that it's a
Starting point is 00:55:52 up to the guy to take it away. Not that you guys can't. I'm sure you guys are very able to. I put a picture frames, but not up like. But I, like it's a more like. You're right.
Starting point is 00:56:00 Let's blame John Voight's wife. Yeah. Yeah. Whoever the girlfriend or the assistant is or maybe even they put it up there. Like one day they went over and we're like here dad. Here's a photo. And he's like, you want to take it down just because you broke up.
Starting point is 00:56:13 I don't think that you bought a picture frame. Took the little fake people out like the model people. Then put that picture frame in and then did the little thing in the back. And then put it up. Yeah. Maybe he went in on the auction. He's like, this is worth some money. But it's been eight years at this point.
Starting point is 00:56:31 Just take it down. They're not together. I'm wondering also maybe like. He's old though, right? He's old. Very old. And maybe he felt like. You can get a ladder wherever it's at.
Starting point is 00:56:39 You can get a ladder? He connected with Brad and really cared about Brad. Yeah. But this is your daughter. I know, but it's also like the father of their grandkids. Brad for your pit. Yeah. Angie, you're not okay with this.
Starting point is 00:56:51 No. But we. We're guilty of having my sister's ex. I'm like, I was about to sleep. So take it down, Angie? Well, no, because it's a family portrait. Wow. They went to like Acapulco and you know, like how they go
Starting point is 00:57:05 and they take pictures of you at your table. The waiter ticket? Yeah, the waiter ticket is one of those photos, dog. It's not in a frame or nothing. It's literally on the fridge. It's the easiest thing to take out and there's probably a trash can right there to throw it right on. Would you like to buy a photo two for 20?
Starting point is 00:57:17 Yeah. This old ass fool, you're going to want you want AIM to take it out? Yes, letty. But you can't take down the thing in the fridge? No, because it's a family portrait and all of it. It's been years. It's still up there. It's still up there.
Starting point is 00:57:30 And it's going to be there. Yeah. We all are like that. How are you judging? Okay. Okay, but you're going to make me take this down and then if you get back together, then what? I got to put it back up. No, I'm done.
Starting point is 00:57:38 That's it. Like, come on. It's up and it's ridiculous. My mom tells me that she's going to fight me if I ever try to take them down. And there's two pictures. Take them down. Yeah, the pictures. What?
Starting point is 00:57:46 There's multiple pictures of you. What? There's one of like the whole family and she's in it with her mom. Who's in it? My ex. And then. What ex? You have a lot?
Starting point is 00:57:54 Yeah. The most recent one. Ruth? No. No. Yeah, the flower. The flower? Oh.
Starting point is 00:58:03 Like right there in the living room. That's the first thing I see when I walk in. So it's like, I have to deal with that. Yeah. I can never escape. Okay. What happened? Where was the photo?
Starting point is 00:58:11 Like, how did the photo get up there? So one of them is my mom when they shared their birthday party with her mom. And there's a family photo. of all of our family together. And whose fault is that that you blended the family before knowing it's rather. It seemed like a good idea, didn't it? Yeah. Yeah, didn't it?
Starting point is 00:58:25 And then the other one is just of all the girls of the family. And she's in it. Oh, she's in it. Oh, no, that one's foul. You got to take that out. That's foul. That's foul. But the girls?
Starting point is 00:58:38 The girls? That's wild. Yeah, told my mom. She's like, if you ever try to touch the picture, I'm beating you up. And I'm like, take the beating. Yeah, take the beating. Okay, the first one is right when you walk in. Where is the second one?
Starting point is 00:58:47 Both of them are right when you walk in. So there's one under the TV and then there's like a little thing that has pictures. So what we're going to say is she your cousin when the IE girl comes to busy you. Yeah. What are we going to say that? Wow, you kiss your cousin? Yeah. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:59:01 No, I don't know what to say. That's going to avoid that part of the room. Just avoid it. It's right. It's in your face. Just don't look at the picture. You're a better son than me, Greg. I would have got rid of that.
Starting point is 00:59:10 Yeah. Again, Greg, I don't know how to take a part, take away. It's really hard to get out the freaking. The picture frame. Get in a right. The right frame, all of that. I'm wondering if Angelina, her dad also has a picture of her and Billy Bob Thornton because then he can be like, look, this is great. This is my hall of fame of your boyfriend.
Starting point is 00:59:28 Oh, my God. Brad deserves it more. Billy Bob? Billy Bob. Brad was married with her, had kids with her, like took on her adopted kids as his own. Bad news bears? Bad news bears. Bad news bears.
Starting point is 00:59:39 Bad news, that's cool. That's probably the one he hated, to be honest. Probably. They were like drinking each other's blood, all that. Yeah. Remember they made out crazy on the red carpet? Yeah, no, that was her and her brother. This is not a lie.
Starting point is 00:59:52 I wonder she has a photo of them two. That's crazy. No, for real. Look it up. Okay, I am. I'm so confused. They weren't. All right, that's it for sombras out of.
Starting point is 01:00:04 I'm Angie from Brownback Mornings. I'm Paro 106. All right. Keep it here. It's Paran 106. Paran 106, Brown Bag mornings. Buenos Diaz. Good morning to you.
Starting point is 01:00:11 Vic, we have a topic, but it doesn't really fit a segment intro. So what do we do? We don't know where to put this. So we're putting this here. All right. Yeah, look. You ever get, like, great news about your favorite op? Yes.
Starting point is 01:00:26 Yeah. I love when mosquitoes die. Yes. Okay, so my version of that, Lettie, is paper straws. They are the bane of my existence. Vic hates paper straws. I hate paper straws too. They're not bad.
Starting point is 01:00:39 They're annoying. They are unnecessary. They get soggy. They do get soggy. They ruin any type. Have you ever tried to drink a smoothie out of a paper straw? Yeah. I'd rather eat a jean jacket at this point.
Starting point is 01:00:50 But, you know what I'm saying? I hate it so much. I hate it so much. Is it the paper straws fault that you are a slow drinker is what I think sometimes? I'm like, okay, maybe this is getting me to hurry up and drink this drink. Why are you so aggressive with their drinks? Why are you so mad? Yeah, he's very angry.
Starting point is 01:01:07 Well, maybe you ever thought about maybe their fast dissolvers? The paper straws. That's the point. We're saving the turtles. Yeah, we're saving the turtles would kill us if they had the chance. No, they wouldn't. Very gentle. So you don't like how fast they're finished.
Starting point is 01:01:21 Yes. Ask you to grow how she feels. Yeah. Oh. Same. I will ask her when she gets home. Are you a plastic straw, man? Are you paper straw, man.
Starting point is 01:01:33 Are you paper or you plastic? Agave. Okay. There's agave straws. You're the agave straw? Yes. Okay. All right. So paper straws are actually revealed to have toxic forever chemicals and could be worse than plastic.
Starting point is 01:01:45 Everything's toxic these days, man. Oh, that they have stuff that can kill us. You hate paper straw so much. You want anti-paper straw propaganda out in this world. Exactly. I'm spreading it. You got my vote. You like this news because it's like anti-you're up. Yeah, because they're saying that like, oh, you know, the plastic straws are.
Starting point is 01:02:03 They're the better alternative to plastic. Bad for the environment. Yeah. The straw or being toxic? I mean, toxic sometimes happens, you know. The paper straws is the real issue. The existence of the paper straw really gets on Vicks nerves. It grinds.
Starting point is 01:02:17 his gears, okay? Because you know what? We had a really great thing when we had plastic straws, you know? We loved them, we never even thought twice that they would never exist in our lives again. And here's this thing that makes just drinking easier and also spitballing easier. Right? And then I have us replace it with
Starting point is 01:02:33 a paper straw. Yeah, I hate it so much. Every time they hand me a paper straw, I get really pissed. Yeah. It's a straw. I'll never go back to that normal straw. Facts. What? It is a normal straw. It's not. It is not. If your drink is already Spilling all over the table because of the condensation.
Starting point is 01:02:49 Yeah. That means you have a problem. Yeah. There's just superior straws. Like there's obviously the plastic, good old original. Here's a metal straw. You'd rather drink a metal straw than a paper. Metal straw is great.
Starting point is 01:03:00 No, that is. And you don't, do you watch dishes? Yeah. Yeah. Once in a while. How do you wash these metal straws? You got to let's throw some soap down the, down the hatch. No, they have a little brush.
Starting point is 01:03:12 And I bet you don't have it. What is that? There's a little scrub that. They have that? You're nice. Metal straws have stuff inside, bro. I hate metal straws too. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:03:21 You hate metal? It's just the fact that we even had to replace the straw that to us was good. But, you know, this is this thing that we got to take care of it called the world. Yeah. The turtles. They're the turtles. Who's like, okay, like I said, the turtles will kill us if they had the chance. No, they won't.
Starting point is 01:03:38 They will never have the chance. They take care of us. Okay. I remember one time I was at a restaurant by the ocean and they didn't give me a straw. And I was like, yo, can I have a. straw their answer was you realize you're by the ocean right I said cool I still want my paper straw yeah yeah paper straw is just you know there's no actual solution because all you're doing is killing trees well drinking from the cup it's recycling and no that's not an option um but while we're saving
Starting point is 01:04:04 some turtles we're killing ourselves is that worth it guys yeah because this news that you have learned is that paper straws actually have forever chemicals yes that when it's dissolving in your drink right yeah and dissolving in your mouth because it's this news that you have you have learned is that It's like it's on both sides. You're actually getting favorite chemicals inside. Yeah, bad stuff in your body. But when the plastic straws are like being handed to you by somebody
Starting point is 01:04:26 and your hands are all over with them, it's fine, right? Bro, they're fine. They come in a paper package. So it's good. Not all of them. Yeah, they do. If you're at the club, they don't. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:04:36 I'm right. They're serving alcohol, so the alcohol falls in their fingers. So they cleans it. It's a mention. Science rules. I may be alone. on this. But I was once a child
Starting point is 01:04:51 that would eat the paper from the straw from the lollipop. Oh, no, I would do that too.
Starting point is 01:05:00 You know how it's like a paper stick? Yeah. And it dissolves. It literally gets the same consistency as paper straws do. It has a stick. No, it has lollip. And guess what?
Starting point is 01:05:11 Now you have forever chemicals. Yeah. So to me, I'm like, they've been in, they're my BFS forever. They finished as little, okay? I would even like unwrathed because the part that didn't get wet with your saliva
Starting point is 01:05:22 you could use like as a scroll. Yeah, it would just unravel. Yeah, that was cool. I did all of that. All of that. So you're like in medieval times and you're passing like a note or whatever. The paper scroll.
Starting point is 01:05:32 Yeah. So bro, who hasn't eaten paper? True. We all have. We've all ate paper, dog. I mean. We don't enjoy it. I ate my homework on time.
Starting point is 01:05:40 Says who? Yeah. Well, we did enjoy it. We enjoyed it, though. I don't enjoy it now. I want a plastic. straw. That's right.
Starting point is 01:05:47 Or agave if you guys have ever had a habit one. Yeah, the gabba one's pretty tight. Or had a gabat tequila, that's it. No, you've had an agave straw. It just kind of looks more like a tan color and you see little green specks or something. Exactly. It looks like crap paper. And guess what?
Starting point is 01:06:00 It's biodegradable. Boom. Boom. Yeah. All right. Thank you for that big. Thank you for the propaganda against paper straws. It is very welcome.
Starting point is 01:06:09 Yeah, we can make a change one day at a time. One straw at a time. Yeah. Somewhere a turtle is too. Turn over and can't get back. Yeah. That's my stomach. I love turtles.
Starting point is 01:06:19 This is the last straw. Paper. That's paper straw. It's Power 106. Ellie's number one for hip-hop. Brown bag. It's Brown Bag on Power 106. Number one for hip-hop.
