Starting point is 00:00:00 Power 106, LA's number one for hip hop. Buenos days. Good morning. We made it through the weekend. Monday. January, what number are we on? 13. January 13, man.
Starting point is 00:00:10 A year has happened within the first two weeks. Yes. Of 2025. We're here, though. Clearly we're still going through these fire, the fires that are surrounding Los Angeles. Ramona, can you give me the update on the percentages for the fires? Yes, so Palisades Fires 14% contained.
Starting point is 00:00:29 Eton fires. is 33% contained and the hearse fire is 95% contained. Kenneth is already 100% and I believe we had Lydia, Sunset, all of those
Starting point is 00:00:41 100% contain. Containment is different than like being put out. Containment just means that they literally have it surrounded and like it's not going to move out of like it's not going to move on its own accord.
Starting point is 00:00:52 Yeah. Definitely contained. Because I wonder sometimes if we think it means just as distinguished. No. That's what I thought at first. Yeah. However, and I want to make sure that we are still, like, diligent.
Starting point is 00:01:05 Like, over the weekend, the sky felt cleared up. I'm in San Gabriel, which is right by the Eaton. The weather was not horrible as it has been. So it could lead people to believe, like, okay. We're better. We're, kind of. Because the National Weather Service has issued a particularly dangerous situation. This is the highest.
Starting point is 00:01:30 alert the agency is capable of issuing and it's intended to invoke the highest level of urgency and attention with the I believe with the winds that are on their way later today. Yeah. There's still going to be a lot of wins. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, that's a scary thing.
Starting point is 00:01:46 I feel like over the weekend the winds kind of subsided a little bit. Yeah, they did. Wherever I was, I didn't really feel any type of breeze or anything, which I was like grateful for because I'm like, okay, this means that it's not going to spark some more. stuff, you know, some more fires and stuff like that. But I know, like, hearing like, oh, they're still on their way. Yeah, they're still more coming. And granted, they say that they're not believed to be as, as strong as the ones that
Starting point is 00:02:13 started the fires last week. But they are strong enough to potentially cause explosive fire growth. This is what I mean with the containment part. Right. As much as it feels contained, this could still kind of veer off in the fires already started. It also depends on the direction of the wind. Uh-huh. It's right.
Starting point is 00:02:28 where they're coming in. And this is the same type of, I guess, warning that we had in the beginning of the week last week. Or just like, dang, it's life-threatening. It's destructive. They're using these big words. Are they using these words just to, like, trip us out or scares? Because here in L.A., we've gotten those, like the atmospheric rivers. All of those kind of doomsday-like words used.
Starting point is 00:02:53 Yeah. But no, they're for real. Yeah, absolutely. Like when there was a hurricane? Herquake Herquake Or when there was like So much
Starting point is 00:03:03 There was going to be so much rain That it was going to be flooded And then it's like it didn't turn out to be that That much and stuff like that Yeah What was it? Herquake. Herquake.
Starting point is 00:03:12 Hick. Killery, wasn't it that one? Yeah. So and granted we didn't weren't affected by People were affected by them You know there was a lot of landslides And all of that at that time But it's like this one's like no
Starting point is 00:03:22 Wherever you're at and LL you're probably affected by not just the winds Not just the fire but the air quality and all of that. So here's what they're saying. It's going to start Tuesday, 4 a.m. to noon Wednesday. Do not do anything that could spark a fire. Have multiple ways to receive evacuation information.
Starting point is 00:03:43 Develop a wildfire action plan. Peak wins for this next event will be weaker than those of last week. Nevertheless, winds will be strong enough to potentially cause explosive fire growth, 45 to 70 miles power gusts. So all of this is still, I guess we're still in it. For sure. You should have to be cautious. I do know.
Starting point is 00:04:03 There was a L.A. County press conference a couple days ago that they were talking about the alerts that went out. The alerts that went out. There was a false one. There was a false one. There was multiple. Yeah. So the initial one and kind of just like listening to it, what ended up happening was like I guess the vendor, they work with a vendor that is doing like the alerts, right? and they sent out a false one
Starting point is 00:04:28 by instead of like that specific region it went to all of LA County all of us got it right and so there were towers down it was that day that all the towers were the towers were being threatened by the fire threatened by the fire we were talking about Mount Wilson
Starting point is 00:04:43 which helps broadcast the Power 106 and a lot of our other sister stations and TV stations and so they were talking about those specific I guess towers they're running on generator some of the generator fuel is down for some of the satellites and all of that because towers excuse me so I guess once they started rebooting they had that alert in their system already so it would go out every time a new tower
Starting point is 00:05:09 rebooted because it's kind of like in its in its processes already yeah so that was also causing like that second and third wave of false alerts yeah so like it's like when you're you don't have service at like a festival or something and then all the texts are coming in once you get service That makes sense. So just even finding that stuff out and how these problems you can't really know will happen until they happen and then to respond accordingly. Yeah. I got the notification at my house. It's like, you need to evacuate.
Starting point is 00:05:40 I was like, the first. It scared a lot of people. Oh, for sure. It really did. And then another alert saying. My bath. Yeah. Please disregard that.
Starting point is 00:05:49 And then when the towers turned on, more alerts. Yeah, things like that four in a morning. A lot of this is just like being. being, you know, like, it's happening in real time, right? Because I got, like, three calls yesterday from L-A-USD, like, okay, school is canceled for the foreseeable future. A couple hours later, okay, school is open for some schools. And then another one was like, okay, actually your kid's school is open tomorrow, so take them to school. And I was like, all right, dog.
Starting point is 00:06:16 Yeah, like, it's like, imagine I missed one of those or I wasn't paying attention. And it's like, okay, like, it's just people are figuring all this stuff out in real time. As as as that's so right. I think even even within us, how should we do the show? How are other people who house? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:31 Our sister takes to do the show. Like we don't want to, I guess we don't want to treat this slightly where we are moving on business as usual when there's still clear stuff going on, but also when would we be able to. And I guess everyone just looking at each other at this point in time. So I would, I guess just lean on who you can for your processes. You know, even with those kids going back to school, it's like, but should they? Right.
Starting point is 00:06:58 That's what I was thinking this morning, too, and I was leaving the house. I was like, the air quality is still bad. You know, them being indoors as well the whole time, it's like, at least for my son Max, like, he bounces off the walls. I can't imagine, like, also giving the responsibility. Yeah. Right, right. So it's a lot to deal with.
Starting point is 00:07:18 No, it's a lot. And then it's like some people are being so affected and lost everything. Other people going on business as usual. So, like, I was at my girl's house out in, like, the 5,6,6, 2, and I go outside and I smell smoke, and I'm like, what's that? Neighbors doing a bonfire. I'm like, come on, bro. Oh, that's wild. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:07:35 I'm like, you got to hold off on those. I don't care where you're at in LA. You can't be doing those for the foreseeable future. Like, you know what I'm saying? It's like, because those people aren't even thinking about that. I guess it's not affecting them. Yeah, but it's like, still. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:07:49 Yeah. It's a lot, man. I'll turn it off. I was going to go turn their bonfire on. Right, she's bucket of waters. I did see, where I was seeing different videos come up to, I saw a video of a guy that had, well, he was outside of what I could only, I guess, define as like a dumpster fire. So, like, I had turned, I guess, some type of container and the fire had gotten way out of hand. And so people are video recording him, and he's somebody that doesn't, he's unhoused.
Starting point is 00:08:20 Yeah. And they're like, you're going to go to jail, bro. what are you doing starting the fire? Because it's easy to blame. Like, look what you did or that's your intention. And he was like, I was trying to stay warm. I was trying to stay warm. And it got out of hand.
Starting point is 00:08:34 It got out of hand. And I'm trying to put it out. He had gotten like apple juice and was trying to take it out. What I have seen about fires is a lot of them around like the sides of the freeway are intended. Like a lot of them happen when unhoused people are trying to create a fire. Or even cook. And it gets out of hand. And I think that's the part where we're,
Starting point is 00:08:54 like, I don't know, I would just hope for more empathy, and I do see a lot of empathy in people, but people get very, like, they just assume people are out for the worst. There are people that are like that. But dang, like, could only imagine you're trying to stay warm and then now you're caught up because of that. Because then what else should you do? I saw one on the side of the freeway last night, but there was, like, people around it.
Starting point is 00:09:17 I was like, they're just trying to stay warm. That's like it is, but everybody's, like, freaking out. But in the news, those people will be called arsonists. Yeah. Yeah. Because it's like there's just a misunderstanding about what they're doing. Yeah. Later on in the show, I'm going to tell you about, like, what they're thinking about, the
Starting point is 00:09:29 eaten fire, the origins of it. And also that part, because most fires are human started, but then you have to go off intention. Is it accidental? Was it arson? Or was something that like literally just got out of hand, you know? And how authorities really end up figuring that out. I've been doing a lot of time, like, researching that.
Starting point is 00:09:46 It's pretty trippy. Like, because a lot of times we're just out here talking without knowing. Yeah. Let me just not talk without knowing. Let me just research this and figure that part out. We are for sure keeping you updated on all things that are going on in our area in relation to the fires. Sorry, Vic is. On his knees.
Starting point is 00:10:04 I'm helping out. Down there. This is true. Being a team player right now. Handle your knees. Not while I'm trying to give important information. That's why I want to ask you the information. He asked me.
Starting point is 00:10:19 I made hands on your knees, Joe. I did not ask you. Stop. I could have just acted. I didn't hear him and I was like, nah, how many needs it? You went on your knees? The ox. You guys are annoying.
Starting point is 00:10:29 What are you even seeing, bro? Stop, bro. You both stop, please. He said, sorry, sorry. The ox, you asked for it, bro. Okay. Let's reset little holes. Yes.
Starting point is 00:10:45 Okay, we're keeping you updated on what's going on with the fires. Currently, we see palisades at 14% content. Eat in at 33% containment, Hearst at 95% containment. And we're going to give you these updates throughout the show. We're also trying to also give you as much of brown bag as you know it as possible. Ramona, there's also places that people can help, correct? Yes, so we ask that you join us in support of the Red Cross to help out our cities and the communities in need during these challenging times. Donate now at power 106.com.
Starting point is 00:11:19 Yeah. And we were over the weekend. We didn't get to catch each other. but I know we all did a bunch of different stuff throughout the weekend and you know what it's really tough to I guess kind of get your things in order at home like I had a son that I had to evacuate from UCLA
Starting point is 00:11:35 and got UCLA didn't get the evacuation order it's literally the border like literally everybody but UCLA got the evacuation order for the Palisades Fire but I'm like I'm not gonna risk it like I'm not having my son in his dorm like chilling until they tell him to dip so I evacuated him on on Friday and then I've had the boys
Starting point is 00:11:52 because they've been on off of school. I would have one and Jorge would have one. So y'all had Horito doing shoutouts last week. They just trying to get that stuff in order. And then Saturday, seeing what I could get of theirs to donate, as much as I know as there's like adults going through, I was really concerned for the kids. You know, I did see a lot of people
Starting point is 00:12:14 went to the San Anito racetrack, which is close to our home. And there's a lot of plushies and stuff. And to me, I was, I guess, secondhand thankful. Like, I'm not the one receiving it, but I was very thankful that people brought out plushies because I know what that can mean to a kid. For sure.
Starting point is 00:12:30 Greg, you had went there on Friday, right? On Friday, because I saw it on the news and I was like, wow, like, we got to be out there playing music and stuff like that. And when we first got there, it was not as big as it is now. The donation site. It was probably a good amount. Like, they had just got 100 mattresses and stuff like that. But now it's a lot.
Starting point is 00:12:50 Yeah, it is. I love it. was telling Greg on the side over the weekend and having been clearly we've been through a lot music gets us through a lot you know sure if not you're listening to like I don't know the thoughts in your head other people outside like all you're hearing is the news all you like it can be a lot for someone that's been through a trauma and I told them like you don't understand what you've done to these kids that are maybe rummaging through things but then trying to understand what's going on with their parents,
Starting point is 00:13:21 that you're playing music all the while. It could be a core memory for these kids. It could even then trigger them later, like if they hear a song that you had played later on in life. But then remember it fondly because they were getting a new stuffed animal. They were getting clothes that they needed, you know? All of that is important. I remember Angie previously, I wonder if you went to Maximo,
Starting point is 00:13:44 when we went to donate to people that had come on a couple, accompanied minors? I've done it before. I don't know how long you guys. Okay, so during that, I guess when we were all aware of what was happening, where people were taking from their parents
Starting point is 00:14:03 or they were coming to the states unaccompanied and stuff like that, we found a place that they were being held while they went through the core processes of seeking asylum, and we had reached out and we said, what are the things that they need the most? Because you want to give them the world, because they're going
Starting point is 00:14:19 through so much, right? And these were kids from as young as four to 17. It's like to the legal age, right? And you got to think I have a five and a seven-year-old. I couldn't imagine them traveling or having to go through a court process, you know? Without like either parent. Right. That's scary.
Starting point is 00:14:37 And so the main thing that this center told us is that the things that they request the most are something to listen to music to and a soccer ball, you know, something to play with, right? And it's to get their mind off of things. They're understanding that I guess they don't really know the big concepts, but they know they got to get through it. And knowing that music is something that they requested the most, when I saw you guys there for the San Anita,
Starting point is 00:15:02 for the fire victims and people that have been affected, that's what I immediately go to. How necessary and uplifting they were, that type of a, that type, I guess, of an experience could be for them. So Power 106 has been out there and believe it's till Wednesday. that they had it open. I know you went to, Vic. Yeah, I was there.
Starting point is 00:15:23 Went to, I was, that was like one of three or four donations centers. I had tried to go to. I went to the LA Dream Center. Went to another one in Pasadena. All of them said no more clothes. Yeah. So I'm riding around with like a bag, like bags and bags and trunk full of clothes. And I get to, I get there.
Starting point is 00:15:40 I kind of just like scope out like, okay, what do they need maybe more of and stuff like that? But there was just like such a sense of community there. you know people helping out I know Be Nice was there I know Just Incredible was there You know and then everybody being so friendly Volunteers You know handing us stuff
Starting point is 00:15:54 Do you want a sandwich Do you want this? We're like no we're good Like we're just We're not here for that Yeah I felt like I should have Partain in this Yeah there was shout to all the food vendors
Starting point is 00:16:02 Food smell bobby I just felt guilty taking anything I was like I'm you know I'm good Like I saw through chat coffee there And I was like I went like Yeah I didn't even want to walk through like that The food area
Starting point is 00:16:13 Because I don't like it's not You want to take from someone that you I'd actually need. Shout out, Be Nice, man. I've really been pleasantly surprised at how he's been affected. He had to evacuate. He had actually lost his dog for a moment, affected by the sunset fire. And Be Nice is on air every weekday during the afternoon with DJ charisma and Wavy.
Starting point is 00:16:37 And to see him show up, I was there right when he got there. All right. Who did he talk to to? Like, tell him, like, there's a lady sorting right there. He's like, all right, cool. And then he started helping people. give out pass out waters right just to see i guess that activation in him and i and he's like tomorrow i'm gonna hand out food and and like i just really appreciated that about him and if if you pass by
Starting point is 00:16:59 the san anita racetrack and you see us just know that we're right there with you we're not we're not there to take anything right there literally to be a support system for you as well there was a prayer tent and there was a pastor from the city of bell and even seeing that prayer tent made me feel like people are so I don't know people are so kind I know know we get a lot of stories of what makes us feel like people are the worst but people are so kind that in this moment the city of bell don't be mad at me that I don't know where exactly the city of bell is I suck at geography GPS takes me everywhere but for that pastor to come out and pray for anybody anybody that wanted it needed it and you don't understand how much in these times
Starting point is 00:17:45 we could use that, you know? Right. Even just that connection of this is a lot going on. Let me take this breath and let me tell you and let me comfort you with the word. And it was just beautiful to see the prayer tent. Yeah. If you happen to be there and need some, they're there. Yeah, for sure.
Starting point is 00:18:01 That's awesome because it's like everybody has their own way of contributing. Everybody has their own role, you know, that they can have. Like for Greg, it was like playing music. Yeah. Right. Get people a sense of normalcy. Because like you said, like they're like going through the clothes and stuff. And it's like, imagine like pure silence.
Starting point is 00:18:16 Yeah. And you're just kind of alone with your thoughts. Even then, like, you know what I'm saying? Like when I was done and it got silent, I was like, damn, I don't want to leave. Because you can tell the difference. These people really needed the music. Yeah. It was just pumping them up to help more.
Starting point is 00:18:29 Exactly. And it's just like, I don't want to leave. Sorry. Everybody has a role. Everybody's trying to. I'm still a little bit trying to find mine. Like I said, I have so much clothes I want to give to like kids that lost their stuff. I just haven't found the right batch as of yet.
Starting point is 00:18:43 And that's what I've been trying to do. And I want to like, you know, help some more this week, like whatever I can do. Now that I'm going to get back to my house and kind of continue with my life. Yeah. Oh, yeah, because you evacuated your place too. Yeah, exactly. The air quality seems to be better. I've been kind of like going and checking up.
Starting point is 00:18:58 I was driving around Pasadena yesterday, though, and it's a ghost town. Mm-hmm. Yep. I was driving through, like, South Pasadena area. And I was like, dude, everybody left. Yeah. Yeah. The businesses are, like, nobody's there.
Starting point is 00:19:10 Like, the only things that were really open were the donation centers. Yeah. And everything else was just, like, evacuated. It would understand him so, but I was just like, wow, this is like, I've never seen this like that. At all. Yeah. Mike's, I saw you in Altadina. Yeah, I kind of been all over the place.
Starting point is 00:19:24 On Friday, I went to John Muir High, which is right next to where a lot of the community was affected. I went over there, just donate some stuff that I had. And then on Saturday, I teamed up with AJ, who we talked to, who was one of the homies that helped save his homies at house. We teamed up and we created this thing called Help Altadina, which is a program. that that so AJ's from Pasadena so he actually knows people who were directly affected and they their families their friends were affected so we created that to take in donations and we're going to this week separate it and give packages directly to the families that everybody in that community
Starting point is 00:20:03 knows yeah I do appreciate the he had a form to fill out as well because you know I got a lot of questions when I was at the San Anita a racetrack area and people were like well how do we know it's getting to the right people. And honestly, like, my brain is like, I can't think about that. Yeah. Because you can't stop what bad people do from you being a good person. You know, if you have it in your heart to donate. And I did, like, I'm like, let me help take some shoes, take things that I have been
Starting point is 00:20:30 lightly worn. Sometimes the boys get stuff and they don't wear and they grow out of. Let me bring that stuff there. And you can't focus on could somebody be in there taking it. For sure, because there's always going to be bad seats. Yeah. So I, but I think what, what age. and you guys did is you sent
Starting point is 00:20:46 like I guess there's a form where you could fill out how you if you were affected if you lost your home things like that your sizes kids sizes everything so they know kind of to prepackage and send it to you yeah and I think more people should do that I guess if that's the concern of where is it going you know
Starting point is 00:21:02 so we did that and then after I went to in North Hollywood in Migo L.A which is like a program in L.A. that helps like the immigrant workers and stuff like that they had a collection as well and they were doing two different ones where one they were delivering to people as well and the other was for firefighters so I went and took stuff specifically for firefighters
Starting point is 00:21:22 oh that's so nice that's amazing I know we're talking to the um frontline locals frontline locals shout to the guy yeah he was he was very um thankful for you know what we said about him on air and stuff like that's his cousin no his cousin called last week he called yeah and um you know he said he said thank you know to all of us and um you know he appreciated anybody buying shirts and stuff like that and they'll ship a mod as soon as possible. I'm like, bro, just don't even worry about that. Don't even worry about that.
Starting point is 00:21:48 That's the last thing you got to worry about right now. But yeah, so shout out to them, you know, and they were thankful that we, you know, shout them out, and they got a bunch of followers and people probably ordering stuff too. I know you're thinking, too, sometimes we're like, what can we do? And the closest thing I guess you can is give, like, what's my shirt? For sure. Let me give these clothes.
Starting point is 00:22:08 There are different ways. I know that there's the hike trails. When they talked about Eden Canyon, first thing that came to my brain is the hike trail I've gone there I love it there's a waterfall it's beautiful it's Loki energy it's for us like it's not like too steep like they it goes pretty it's pretty is it the one where you walk through like the avocado farm no no no no that's another one wow multiple first dates there uh what been on multiple first dates there year it's nice it's nice because it's also not strenuous crazy like it's like it's a good hike like it's
Starting point is 00:22:40 it's level versus like There's water. It looks nice. Greg, you can't have six first dates at the same place. That's all that's your first date there. But when I heard about that, that's Greg's spot. Like, you know, I never bring anybody here. I never bring anybody here.
Starting point is 00:23:00 I really never bring anybody here. Did you know there's a waterfall out there? Do you test their endurance or what? No, it's nice. You can walk and just talk. They're really looking at his endines. Hey Ruth, if he took you to Ian Canyon, you're not the first. Don't burn me out like that.
Starting point is 00:23:18 You burn your stuff out, fool. But when I saw Eaton Canyon, I was like, dang, like, I was thinking about the trails. That's what I know it as. And so, yes, a lot of the trails around all of these places, which we love doing in in LA, we all love hiking, you know. A lot of them have been clearly burned, but also there's debris and there's everything that makes them unhikable. However, there are efforts to gain volunteers to come help clean and clear that debris up.
Starting point is 00:23:49 Agrochristma was talking in our group chat. Like, I wonder if people need help taking the debris out of their home. If you drive down Pasadena or like, I'm in like the San Gabriel, San Marino area, the branches are just out. Yeah. Like they haven't been picked up. I know that today may be trash day for a lot of homes, but it's like just seeing that it's still out there and what can be done in order to volunteer that way. So I think there's different ways that you can, I guess, help. Yeah, if they're over, if they're overflowed with clothes and stuff,
Starting point is 00:24:21 maybe we pivot to something else. Exactly. You know what I'm saying? No, yeah. I was even in, even here in Burbank. Oh, yeah. There's people cleaning up debris at the park the other day because there was just so many trees that had fell. The branches and stuff like that, branches and stuff like that.
Starting point is 00:24:35 And people were just working together, you know, to get rid of it. There was a tree blocking the road the other day. They'd go around it. I was like, wow. Like there's a lot on the floor. I saw the biggest palm tree I've ever seen in my life knocked over in Pasadena. And it just was like, all it had was like nobody could clean it up yet. It was just had tape around it.
Starting point is 00:24:50 Yeah. It's like, yeah. So we'll try to avoid it. Yeah. That's what's even trippy to. Understanding that tomorrow and Wednesday, we are in the similar kind of warning when it comes to the winds. Because that's not fire related. That's more wind related, you know?
Starting point is 00:25:04 And we have to be cognizant that the wind is not done with us yet. While these winds that are predicted to come, Tuesday morning around 4 a.m. Into Wednesday, and not ending until Wednesday, they are not as strong as the winds that we got last week, but they are still windy enough to knock things down, to maybe give progress to fires, you know, and things of that nature. So be very, very careful. Still have like those antennas up.
Starting point is 00:25:34 Because right now it's not the time to really just, we're not in the clear yet. Yeah. You know? Yeah. All right. Well, I wanted to give the. the resources if you want to help hike, right?
Starting point is 00:25:45 So you can email Eaton Canyon at parks. dot LAC County.gov with your name, phone number, and email address, which they are taking account who can volunteer, who can this is where the athletic homeies, A, bro. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:26:00 Let's go. Let's go help. Sending Jorge, April. You've been lifting all this time. You've been running those marathons, go. Yeah. I know also the homies at Altake are doing community cleanup.
Starting point is 00:26:11 So you can just check them on Instagram. You sign up with them and they create like a schedule and they go out and help clean Altadena. Do you know they're. It's at Altake. At Outtake. Yeah. And then I also know Pasadena Community Center is where a lot of the elderly is. And I think we're focusing, everyone's focusing a lot on like, you know, food, clothing.
Starting point is 00:26:32 But a lot of times like the elderly and these community centers need a lot of help to, you know, to help with everyone that's there. Yeah. All right. Amidst the fire situation that we have in L.A. That we are definitely going to keep you up to date on. Our phone screen, Roberto, he was like, hey, you guys, the Eagles won. They beat the Packers. He didn't beat the Packers.
Starting point is 00:26:56 He kept saying that. They didn't go over again. Packers beat themselves. He's wearing his jacket, too. He came in his Eagles jacket. And he would like to shout out all the Eagles fans in Los Angeles. That's funny. We ain't doing that.
Starting point is 00:27:09 One of our shoutouts is literally Jose wants to shout out Maximo and the cheeseheads for losing. Yeah, I'm telling you. I see you guys. And I know there's a serious situation going on. There's also for the guys in your fantasy football league. That's a serious situation, right? They didn't beat us. We beat ourselves, I'm telling you.
Starting point is 00:27:27 We played terrible. Wouldn't that mean they want? Okay, what's going on? You tell me, what happened? Me and DJ Sarah Milker actually talking about that right now. Well, what happened? We beat ourselves. What does that mean?
Starting point is 00:27:39 that we gave them the game. Ah. You're doing, because I remember, like, the last weekend or the last week of the regular season, when the top teams were letting themselves, like, lose or letting, like, the bench players play. I don't know if it's called bench players, too, in the NFL. But you did that during an actual playoff game that you needed, right? Yeah. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:28:00 We played so bad. We, like, as if you're on the team? I am on. He is on the team. Whose fault is it? Jordan Love had three interceptions. our line had so many penalties. Everyone got injured.
Starting point is 00:28:13 Yeah. Yeah, we just sucked. Dang, do you remember when you did that whole video about the Cowboys fans crying and all that? Yeah, I think, I think, Dak Prescott took over. Damn. He possessed Jordan Love? Yeah, he did.
Starting point is 00:28:24 Did you see when, my favorite part of the game was when Jordan Love threw an interception and then it got called back because there was like some sort of, like, a flag was called? Yeah. And he threw it again! Yes. He was. He was.
Starting point is 00:28:36 He was. He was. Interception? Right after. Right after. They saved them from throwing an interception. I don't even know football, but I know an interception. Why would you do that?
Starting point is 00:28:43 I don't know. I think he just really wanted the Eagles have the ball. Did it ever work? Honestly, the way he played, in my brain, I was like, because our backup quarterback plays really good. He has more of a running style. I would have kept swapping him in and out and confused the defense and then try to take over the game. So now are you guys out?
Starting point is 00:29:00 Yeah, we're good. Dang, around out. Yeah. We're joining the Cowboys. In football, it's just one game, right, that you can lose and it's over it. And basketball's different. and baseball's different. You can lose a game.
Starting point is 00:29:10 Not in football. Join me, the Raider fan. We're having a great time. We're playing prize picks. We're winning money. You know what I'm saying? It's great. I'm having a great time.
Starting point is 00:29:20 I'm okay. I won over $100 yesterday. Guess who didn't lose at all? The Raiders. They can't lose. They can't lose more. Now I'm winning, maybe. Joe win, maybe.
Starting point is 00:29:31 Yeah. I love the prize. It's a glorious time. It is a glorious time. And then Angie, me and you today, okay? School! Yeah! We've been practicing our weekend.
Starting point is 00:29:46 I don't know what that would be. This is boiling Maximus blood because that is a direct rival. Direct. Oh, yeah. Of the Packers. I don't usually go to the Rams, but I hope the Rams went. I hope the Vikings take. I love the L.A.
Starting point is 00:30:01 Rams got to Los Angeles. Yeah. My husband's a big Packer fan too. He didn't tell me until after, like, we already, like, did it. It was like, hey, by the way After, after, after Yeah Love the Packers
Starting point is 00:30:15 I'm a pack of him After Never mind Stop, stop, stop Let me to those jokes McThinge I know, that's not it's that I'm saying Pack now
Starting point is 00:30:27 Yeah Go Pack now Greg, what's up with the Chargers? They lost The Chargers lost What's up with them, bro? Who? Who beat them?
Starting point is 00:30:38 Both down. Yes. They got wood. Honestly, the Texans are pretty weak. So for them to beat the Chargers was like pretty wet. It was embarrassing. What was the score? It was like 7 to like 30 something.
Starting point is 00:30:50 So the Chargers are out. Yeah, they got one. Yeah. That's pretty embarrassing. So the Eagles, the Broncos are out too? Yeah, they lost two. Okay, the Broncos. What?
Starting point is 00:31:00 Actually, they did good in the first half. Yeah, but then after that it was downhill. After that, it was terrible. My dad was so mad. I was a bad weekend of football. Yeah, I was about to say the games weren't that great. No. This weekend?
Starting point is 00:31:10 No. Yeah. There was a lot of like kind of. Today it's going to be different. Yeah. Like a school. That's why. School?
Starting point is 00:31:16 School. What do we say? School. What do we say? School. School. Skoll. School.
Starting point is 00:31:22 School's open. School. School. You better stop. You better stop. You guys are out. You guys are out. You guys are out.
Starting point is 00:31:31 You guys are out. You're out. The Eagles beat you. Yeah. Yeah. You're out. Who's still in? The Eagles.
Starting point is 00:31:39 The Chiefs, the Eagles, the Bills. Look at me. The commanders. The commanders. That was a great game. That was a great game. The commanders. Who else?
Starting point is 00:31:51 Shut up. Shut up. Shut up. Shut up. Make it make a movie. Yeah. All right. We'll see.
Starting point is 00:31:57 We'll see. That's your football update. Yeah. If you don't have a team. That's cool. Ladies, I know, I know sometimes with Angie, it's like, oh, I don't know. ask me sports. Yeah, I'm just here for the halftime show.
Starting point is 00:32:09 If you want to root for the Vikings today, just get your man mad. Yeah, if you don't have a team, you can play price picks. That's price picks, code power. What does a Raider fan, like, what are you betting on? Like, what are you price picking on? Well, yes, I would say it's more daily fantasy. But also, like, it's kind of, like, what I like to do is first half or second half predictions. So, like, for example, Jalen Hertz, the quarterback of the Eagles, he's a really good player.
Starting point is 00:32:36 but they usually run the ball a lot in the first half. So you bet, like, or not bet, but Daily Fantasy. You project that he won't score more than 110 passing yards. The first half, because they always... Because they're going to run the ball a lot. How would one even know what they do? You watch the sports on. Yeah, but also, like, Price Fix makes it really easy
Starting point is 00:32:55 because they have, like, a comparison of the last five games. That's cool. So you can kind of check out, like, oh, their average... Yeah. What they've done? And it's like, okay, do I think he's going to do that again? And you've got to look at the other teams. Defense.
Starting point is 00:33:05 So you're saying like for someone like me that doesn't even follow it, it's really easy if I use price picks. Yeah, try it right now. If I was in the fourth quarter of the game yesterday of the Packers and the Seagles? Seagulls. Seagulls? By the way, we're trying to figure out what a sea hawk is. Yeah. Is it a seagull?
Starting point is 00:33:27 It sounds like a seagull to me. Yeah. It's a hawking in a sea by the sea. I don't know. But if I was in like the fourth quarter, could I have price picks for Maximo to? to lose? Oh, no, no, not that. It's like after a certain time you can't?
Starting point is 00:33:40 Yeah, more so like, okay, for example. You could have bet the under on the points. But like, in the fourth quarter. Yeah, you can lie. Yeah, there's like live projecting. A sea hawk is an osprey. That's what they call it. That's a type of bird.
Starting point is 00:33:53 What's an osprey? It's a, it's known as a sea hawk, a fish hawk. Nice. Yeah. So it's all the same bird. Okay, got you. Yeah. Kind of boring.
Starting point is 00:34:03 So, yeah, that's your NFL update. We'll see you tonight. and then next week. That's right. Okay. We got through that one. You know what I've been watching a lot? That we didn't shout out and we should shout out?
Starting point is 00:34:16 All the pilots, bro. Have you guys been seeing those videos that I've been seeing? Yes, the Super Scooper people. The ones that are flying over the fire and dropping it and perfectly hitting the fire. I've seen people put like Steph Curry shot, like a voice, like not the voices, but the audio from Step Perry hitting a three to like the firefighter pilots dumping water and like hitting it perfectly.
Starting point is 00:34:42 So satisfying the watch, right? Oddly satisfying. It's the way to communicate. It's like very stealth and they're going. Oh yeah, yeah. You saw the video then. Yes. There's a video from inside the cockpit
Starting point is 00:34:52 where they were talking about like, all right, can I do it to the left? Are the all the helicopters grounded because they kind of got to stay at each other's way? And just like really like regular, like your coffee. Oh, what would you like on that? All right.
Starting point is 00:35:02 Yeah. Yeah, he's super stealth. And then like the thing is they're so low to the mountain. Yeah. So they got to really focus and they got to make sure that no other like aircraft is in the area. Yeah. That's been something that's definitely like it puts a little smile in amongst this time of like, wow, they got that. Like that's super tight.
Starting point is 00:35:20 And to the fools that are like using their drones, you're stop it. Oh, yeah. They're investigating. There was a drone that had hit one of the super scoopers and damaged the wing. I believe that they've brought in more Canadian super scovers to help. Are you talking about the one that gets up in the ocean? Yes, that's the one that gets in the ocean. Yeah, that's really cool.
Starting point is 00:35:41 That kind of like slides through. I don't know if it's an ocean or a lake because I also read about, because everyone's like, because a lot of times we don't know, but we feel like we should just still say our thoughts. Like, why don't they just get the water from the ocean? They should just be using the water from the ocean. Apparently, and this kind of makes sense, the salt water is super corrosive. so let's say that they were and it's corrosive to not just where they're dumping it on
Starting point is 00:36:05 but it's corrosive to the equipment like let's say I'm a plane and I'm getting water from the ocean I am now the pipes and everything that's in that plane made out of metal it's gonna corrode because of salt water yeah down there instant rust yeah so you gotta think of like it's kind of like duh we would if we could if this thing wouldn't like in two weeks
Starting point is 00:36:25 dead this plane so yeah you just gotta let people do their gig point and then stay out of the way bro just yeah we don't know better unfortunately yeah we don't they're experts they're literally why do you just do these we swear yeah and tell the homie Jay I won't say his name to stop
Starting point is 00:36:43 droning seriously he's not here where is he still in Japan he's in Japan he's still there he's still there yo he's the drone homie yeah he bought a one way ticket oh he's never coming back
Starting point is 00:36:56 or what no he just he might be having a mid-law Life crisis. Oh my gosh. In Japan? A good one, Tony. I think he made a good choice. He's been out there since when?
Starting point is 00:37:06 The 29th. I envy the people that just had like a crazy timed vacation. Yeah. That just so happened to miss. Yes. One of my best friends has been in Angola this whole time. No way. Just came back yesterday.
Starting point is 00:37:21 He's like, what's going on? I'm like, bro. Stay there another week. Yeah, you missed a lot. Yeah. My cousin, she's been out there since Sunday. So she hasn't sent out of Los Angeles in Mexico. Oh, okay, okay.
Starting point is 00:37:35 By the beaches and stuff like that. So she hasn't seen any of this. Yeah, Cody. Yeah, Corey. She's been there since Sunday. Wow. Dang. Tell her to come back start tree trimming. She works in the tree trimming.
Starting point is 00:37:43 You're right. She does too? She needs a family. Yeah, they all do. Yeah, they all do. And she became a graphic designer. It's like a tree trimming family. And she's like the Miguel.
Starting point is 00:37:53 She's a Miguel Vogue. I want to treat tree tree. This is the family business. No. No. No, you want to do graphics. It's sad because I couldn't take it my dad's business, but I decided to do that. Wow.
Starting point is 00:38:05 I want to paint it. All right. All right. Check this out, homie. You need a homie or need some help. I need your help. We need a line. I mean, phone line.
Starting point is 00:38:18 We've got you for the homie help line. Samantha needs our help. Samantha. This trip me out, man. Yeah. Wow. So Samantha sent us a DM and said, Brown Bag. It's been a few days and I want to know what you guys think. Me and my boyfriend
Starting point is 00:38:33 lived together in Echo Park. We aren't affected by the fire as bad as other parts. My brother and his wife live in Silmar though and they were really close to the Hearst Fire. I'm the closest to him. Our parents live in Henderson, Nevada. So last week when the fire stuff was getting really scary, my brother asked in a group chat with me and my man, if worse comes to worse, could he and his girl come to our spot? I was asleep when he texted, but I woke up and my man had answered already. He said, sorry, bro, I don't think there would be space. One,
Starting point is 00:39:05 that's crazy. One, I didn't think that my man didn't, one, I didn't like that my man didn't talk with me before answering. I pay half of everything here and I deserve a say. Two, our spot isn't the biggest, but it feels weird not to help out family. My brother
Starting point is 00:39:20 didn't take it too seriously, but it hurt my feelings. Thankfully, they didn't have to evacuate, but now I look at my man different. Like, why would you be so quick to dead helping out my family? Am I tripping for tripping on him? Let me know, Brownback. Get rid of him.
Starting point is 00:39:37 That's crazy. Yeah. She pays half. Yeah. I'm so glad there's other ones like me. You're not alone. No, you know how many times I feel like it's just me telling my own little solo story of paying half for everything. My roommate husband.
Starting point is 00:39:52 You still get invoices? No, thank goodness. We had to talk about that. You're one step away? Yeah, he's like, looking back at it. I could work on my delivery of how I But these are our responsibilities I know
Starting point is 00:40:03 He's such a troll It's hilarious It's not a troll I think it's serious I literally told him like me brother Like What heck? You're more to me
Starting point is 00:40:13 Or anyway Therapies coming Samantha Samantha Samantha Samantha Yeah I'm making about
Starting point is 00:40:22 Yeah So she looks at her man Different What would you Would you if you're if you're girlfriend that you live with. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:40:30 It's like, hey, and I guess it might be theoretical, but not really, because her family is really by the fire. Like, hey, should we help them push come to shove or like worse coming to worry? Yeah, I mean, this happened to me, not in
Starting point is 00:40:44 like a fire situation or anything, but like years ago, I lived with Vic's mom and my mom was leaving her husband at the time, so they didn't have anywhere to stay. So I was like, okay, stay with me. her and all my siblings
Starting point is 00:41:00 which is, you know, three and they, you know, her. So it was four new people in the house but it was like pretty much an emergency and I was like, I don't know if I even asked her really. I was just like, dude, my mom needs a place to stay and all my siblings do.
Starting point is 00:41:12 So they stayed for about two months. You know what I'm saying? That's a long time. Yeah, but it was just kind of like that's what they needed. Where were they else to have they gone? I'm the only one that could have helped at the time. Henderson's far too fan.
Starting point is 00:41:23 That's by Vegas, no? Yeah. It's up there, yeah, Nevada. Yeah, it's in that area. Yeah. Exactly. So it's like, you know, you just do what you can when you can. Yeah. So their family, their parents live in Henderson. Yeah. Sam and Herman live in Nical Park. Thankfully, it wasn't affected in the ways that other places were. Silmar definitely was affected.
Starting point is 00:41:44 Yeah. My brother was actually, like he's literally on where Hearst Fire is, that mountain, he lives right in front of it. So they actually, his whole community got evacuated. And obviously, like, I'm like, yo, my doors are open. I don't have a big space and they knew but luckily they were one of a like another family member was able to like give them their apartment. Yeah. But my doors were open regardless and like it wasn't like hey can we do this. It was like yo like it's it's open. Yeah. And those times sometimes it's like you shouldn't need to ask in the sense. Yeah. Yeah. Like that's when your family really comes in. But it's like that's your family. Yeah. That's not my family. Like you get what I'm Yeah, but if that's like your man and you're married to them, like that becomes instantly.
Starting point is 00:42:31 You're not there. That's what we would think. It's like, what's family for? If they're not going to be there for you in trying times. Yeah. Yeah. You're a family. Just a fight, you know?
Starting point is 00:42:40 Yeah, but you're right. We don't know if they're married or not. There's like hotels too, you know. She said me and my boyfriend. Bro. Bray. Yeah. No, because that exists.
Starting point is 00:42:48 Yeah. To him. Yeah. He's probably like, look. So you're going to send two kids. We're in an ankle park, but we don't got it like that time. Yeah. And I wouldn't want to be in.
Starting point is 00:42:57 convenience to us and to you by like allowing you in here. Yeah, it's small space. People think differently. Yeah. Clearly. Because you got to think. What's a couple days? You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:43:09 If someone, this is not going to happen, but if one of us live with their mom and then had a girlfriend that also had two kids and they had to evacuate, right? Right. So you take the mom of the two kids get a hotel? No, but it's like, if you say no, are you being a bad boyfriend? So to not allowing, see? Because she has parents too that she could go with. Damn.
Starting point is 00:43:35 Greg, how can we? Well, I mean, everyone thinks differently, yeah. At least maybe in their situation, they didn't have to evacuate, or maybe they just didn't like Jose, Jose for sure, probably should have evacuated his garage. I think so, I'm not leaving. He doesn't have a car. He didn't have a car. So I get it.
Starting point is 00:43:51 Uber was helping. Oh, true. No excuses. Jose. He just didn't want to. You're right. But I say all that to say. They could have helped.
Starting point is 00:44:04 And I guess in the theoretical for her to know her man wouldn't want to. Now she's looking at him different. Like should there be a tragedy? Should something be needed with my family? You're just so quick to answer for us that it's a no. Yeah. The thing is that he answered without having that conversation with her. It would have been easy obviously for her to be like, yes, of course.
Starting point is 00:44:27 And I'll deal with my boyfriend later. But the fact that he's like, nah, bro, my bad. It's like instantly. If I was her, I would be like, no, you're staying. Now you're like. Now come now. Yeah, exactly. And so what if it was the other way around where she answered yes for both of them,
Starting point is 00:44:45 the family comes over? The boyfriend would probably be upset. What would you tell the boyfriend is that? Yeah, but I feel like there's an easier conversation there. Like, hey, it's my family. Like, please look out for me. the principle of it the principle of it yeah i feel like that conversation is easier than me like hey nah not you gotta have the conversation hey why did you say no to my family yeah yeah where are they
Starting point is 00:45:06 supposed to go what did something happened to them and she did say the brother was like oh wow i was asking the temperature around yeah yeah but it's like nah and i feel weird like what do you want there's only like a handful of instances when you really to me is like truly mandatory for your family to be there for you it's like when there's like a death in the family when somebody's in the hospital and when somebody's like really really in need of help and needs like a place to stay or you know whatever lend a couple bucks in an emergency even if there were like like this is the time that's what i'm saying it's like this one handful of times that like you really need to lean on your family and then for that guy to be like nah we're cool like that's just like
Starting point is 00:45:48 yeah bro that's that's gonna affect like long-term relationships in the family yeah like there's other solutions too guys like i said a hotel you can help him we get a whole hotel room. Yeah. She's DM me. She said that he did offer like different, he offered like a list of evacuations. Like that's rude. You're mad to love you.
Starting point is 00:46:08 But like thinking like there's other things they could do that would not, would give them space and also would not interfere with their space. So he probably thought he was helping by giving them that list of like, hey. Nah. But that thing they can do is like, yeah, come over and then you know what? Once they get there, they're going to see. how tight they are and they're going to be like, oh, let me help you, like, go somewhere else if anything. Like Henderson.
Starting point is 00:46:32 But, like, at that time, it's like, yes, that's when you need your family. Yeah. Take them in your family. The brother's cool, though, because other brother would have been like, I'm texting my sister right now. Leave this guy. Yeah. I'm pissed.
Starting point is 00:46:43 You know, he might have a little guy. He might be behind the scenes, you know. Getting the sister. She didn't put that. And I'm wondering it. Yeah. All right. Let's go to the phone line.
Starting point is 00:46:57 hit us up to take so we can have your take on this. What should she do? I don't know right now. It's not the time to low-key break up either. Yeah, it's a hard time. No. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:47:07 True. Now break up. Potential rental hike crisis. Yes, Illinois. O-T-W. Oh, man. 818-5-2059. What would you tell this girl, Samantha?
Starting point is 00:47:18 Her boyfriend seemed to be so quick to say to her family, no, we can't take you in. Her family didn't end up. needing it but she now looks looking at her mind like bro you wouldn't have help my brother and his girls not like they have kids or anything else they weren't bringing a horse with them from silmar like it was just them too yeah and her the brother's cool with it so should she be too her and her boyfriend live in echo park uh they weren't affected by the fires but his brother her brother and his wife were
Starting point is 00:47:51 um out in silmar we're very close to the hearse fire um and they asked like hey maybe if things get worse, can we stay at your house in a group text with her and her man, which they both pay 50-50 on the rent. And he replied before she did and said, you know what? I don't think this is a really good time for there's not enough room here. Here's a list of resources. I'm praying for you and your family, you know, that you guys find solace and help and all the stuff,
Starting point is 00:48:17 even though he is their family. He's being honest? No. So she's really upset because they didn't discuss it before he replied. and basically shut it all down. So now she's looking at him differently because in a time of need, it's like she wouldn't want to. He wasn't there for his,
Starting point is 00:48:34 for her family. Exactly. For his brother. That's when you find out the character who you went looking. You can even be, I guess you never know about a person even if you're with them until situations like this happened. There was a commentary.
Starting point is 00:48:46 I want to say their comment on Instagram because we put this up on Brownback Mornings 106. And they said we were affected by the fires and had to evacuate. My mother-in-law lives with my mom. sister-in-law so he ended up evacuating to their home at 5 a.m. because we had nowhere to go. And my sister-in-law is a, be-te, she was bothered that we showed up. So it's like, then you got to like, this is really, well, clearly this is happening out here. So they took the one of one said yes, the other one didn't want, and now they got to deal with the
Starting point is 00:49:21 sister-in-law that's up. Samantha's boyfriend and probably Greg, I will say, never. had family and the sister-in-law and the sister-in-law never had family visit from Mexico where they just have to give up the room they have to give up the room instantly overnight and displaced to the living room like that you don't want my room they want your room they want your room that the parents give up first because to them is like they don't pay their room they're going to sleep all in your blankets my room fart on your pillows and it just is what it is I already did that's your that's your
Starting point is 00:49:51 that's your Tia let them let them sleep there so we're trying to figure out how to how to help Samantha realize that her manning really for her like that because then I'm wondering like what would be the reason could it be that I don't know I think Immediately I'm like is do you like her really? Is this the person that you're just with because you're comfortable? Like you don't really see a future with her if you're not this is your family if you want the next steps right? He lives with her. He likes her of course. I don't know I think Samantha Some people live with their person and then be doing another stuff on the side could I still do my stuff on the side if I have the whole family over.
Starting point is 00:50:29 And this is my brain going total. Yeah, that's a... Avela right there. Yeah, yeah, yeah. No, but that could happen. Yeah. Samantha needs a new mantah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:50:43 That's... Elementra. But then they're also, like, Greg, you were telling me, like, sometimes you know when you got it or you don't got it. And if you can't provide it, you shouldn't, like, you got to know, too. If I had a small space like that, I would not offer it. Like, you're not going to be comfortable at my place. What's small?
Starting point is 00:50:57 small to you. If I had like a little studio, like to myself and it's like a one person studio, clearly I'm not going to offer you my space. I'm not going to be like, yeah, you can come over here and be. Because, but in those times, the space is not like, you're not offering space for someone to be comfortable. It's like you're offering space as an emergency. Like shelter. Yeah. Shelter. Yeah, you're literally you're offering shelter. That's the thing. And it can be with, like, there can be conditions to it that are pre like negotiated, right? Yeah. You can be like, you know what? You can stay here for like a week, for a week. For a week. until you figure it out.
Starting point is 00:51:28 You say that right up front. That way they have expectations. And be like, look, you know what? We have somewhere for at least a week. And then after they can bounce to another person's house. You know what I'm saying? And you don't even have to explain yourself, but just be like, you know what,
Starting point is 00:51:40 my place is small, but you can stay here for a week. Yeah. And regardless, like, they'll probably show up and they'll notice how little it is and be like, all right, we got to get out of here. Yeah, this place is whack. Yeah. The apartment's whack. Let's go to Henderson.
Starting point is 00:51:51 I want a new shelter. They do have a mom and dad. You can't be picky with a shelter, They do have a mom and dad that lives in Henderson, Nevada. That's by, like, that's, yeah, right next to Vegas. So, I, she told me, because I was like, what would happen with the evacuation list? When she lo reclamo, like, she said he did mention there's evacuation centers for this reason, specific to this. It's wild.
Starting point is 00:52:19 People think like that. I know. As much as you're like this with your family, some people don't like their family. Some people didn't have those same, like you said, that experience. of having to share in that moment, we confuse our, like, core values?
Starting point is 00:52:33 Yeah, core values, morals, priorities, principles, all that stuff that we were with other people that maybe weren't. True. Why did you look at me? Why did you look right at me after saying that? I think you were tall of that stuff too.
Starting point is 00:52:46 I'm sure that your mom would open your room up even whether you liked it or not. Would I do it, though? Your mom would be like, you said something about a hotel? You go. Yeah. We're giving the room a room.
Starting point is 00:52:55 No, but would your, like, would you have family come from out of town and you kind of, like, force you to live room or anything? No, I've always been to, like, my room. Like, they always stay in the living room. They stay in the living room. Yeah, that's it. All right, let's go through the phone lines. We got Miguel in Oregon. Miguel, what's up, Miguel?
Starting point is 00:53:14 Hey, Buenos Aires. Buenos Aires, Miguel. Just why you know you're doing better than us right now. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Oregon. Hey, but, Oregon.
Starting point is 00:53:24 Yeah. I didn't know that was a thing. Hold on. Hold on. That's a thing, Miguel? What? How vegan. Yeah. It's in Spanish, right? Yeah, for the ducks.
Starting point is 00:53:34 That's how they pronounce it. And if you're from overregon, it's also, Ovenegon. Why did Jose never tell us this? Yeah. That's tight. All right.
Starting point is 00:53:43 Miguel, talk to, you said you were evacuated? Yeah, so about, well, it's going to be five years ago in the summer, but our area will we live at. The outer town, mountain caught on fire same situation windy power lines went down and just everything caught on fire that next day the winds were coming wet so towards the ocean so instead of going towards the valley
Starting point is 00:54:06 all the the weather goes it started coming inland i mean uh towards the ocean towards us to the west side and we started getting evacuated you know as soon as they gave us the zones where we live in we got evacuated and my wife said that her cousin that lived like out towards the i5 which about an hour away opened her doors to us so i'm thinking everything's cool yeah we show up there i'm outside trying to figure out details with the insurance and you know what's going to happen and all that i just want to make sure all my stuff is covered so if we do come back and don't have a home we you know at least we got something kind of, he's going. Anyway, so as I'm out there, I see this guy drive by real slow,
Starting point is 00:54:52 kind of, you know, about to, like, like, let's do it. Yeah, he's all creeping up. We even lock eyes on each other, like, oh, but I didn't really recognize them. I went to him to his wedding, but, you know, he obviously glued his hair out and everything. And ironic his name's Miguel, too, so I go inside and I ask him, I was like, my girl's Prima was like, hey, where's Miguel? You know, what time is he going to come home? Is he going to go to work?
Starting point is 00:55:17 And she's like, oh, no, he's not coming home. He's staying at his grandma's because, you know, he's upset that you guys came over. Sam, so the car creeping was your, the prima's man. And he was creeping to see that you guys are there, then got so upset that he went to his mom's house? Yeah, he drove off, his grandma's house, you know? And I was like, wait, was he driving in a red hinder? She's like, yeah. I was like, he just drove by.
Starting point is 00:55:43 We stared at, we, we kind of lost eyes and set each other down, you know, and she's like, what? Yeah, he got, you know, he threw a fit about it. She was all upset and bothered, but, you know, I pulled my wife aside and I told her, I was like, hey, you know, if he comes back, I'm not really trying to say, you know. Yeah, it's just awful. It made it uncomfortable. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:56:03 A real uncomfortable. And it's like, you know, like you guys were saying, you know, we weren't going to go there to hang out, you know, we were just, we were just bringing much. you got to go, you know, you find somewhere. You just can't stay here. It's not safe. And like I said, it wasn't even going to be for a week or anything, just for a day, you know, while you get everything situated and then figure out from there.
Starting point is 00:56:25 And we just ended up leaving, getting a hotel. And like I said, they have plenty of room. They're a young couple in their 30s. You know, the house that they're in is through her mom. So, you know, they're buying that off off her mom. It's not like they owe the house, you know. they're owning it to the mom, but I'm saying like, it wouldn't, it wasn't anything that they didn't have the room or anything like that, you know.
Starting point is 00:56:49 It's just he didn't, he was upset that you guys were there. It's just that he's a jerk. Yeah, you're not there to freeload. And then some guys think like that. I'm not guys. Some people think like that. Right. I'm wondering if maybe he was not given, I guess, that type of mercy or grace by maybe
Starting point is 00:57:02 people he grew up with or maybe in his family that he doesn't see the notion of helping someone else. You know what I mean? It's one of those things. Like, see that like the tables. they always turn. You know what I'm saying? So you can be in that position of like...
Starting point is 00:57:15 By the way, has anyone ever turned a table? Yes. Yeah. If it's round, yeah, you turn it. I just went on the other side. I've never turned a table. I've turned turn to. The lazy Susan table.
Starting point is 00:57:26 No. But like that actual like... The term, yeah, like in real life. The table set how I had it when we first moved in. Yeah. I'm thinking of our old people. It was round and then it was wobbly. It would turn all the time.
Starting point is 00:57:40 The tables have turned. Yeah. Okay. Okay. So, yeah, like, it's like you can be in the position of like, you have it all and you have this and you have a place to stay. But as we can see, overnight, all that changes. It can change.
Starting point is 00:57:54 Nobody's immune to any of this. You know what I'm saying? And so it's like, I always think of like, okay, I'm in this position now, but it could be me another day. And I never want to have that, go back to that day where it's like, I decline somebody something. And then it's like all of a sudden like, damn. Now that you need it.
Starting point is 00:58:09 Now that I need it, it's like, damn, I wish I would have. you know, been nicer to somebody that was in that person. And granted, in our guys, Miguel's situation, they got to stay there, but it came with. He felt uncomfortable. Yeah, an uncomfortable feeling. And he's like, para que, like, why even stay here? Diana in North Hollywood. Good morning, Diana.
Starting point is 00:58:29 Buenos Aires. Diana is here to defend Gregory. Yes. Because Greg thinks, like, hey, if you don't got it, you don't got it, you shouldn't need to help somebody. with our girl Samantha that hit us up about her and her boyfriend they live in Echo Park not as affected by the wildfires as her brother was
Starting point is 00:58:48 who lives in Silmar he had hit a group chat with Samantha and her man and said hey if worse comes to worse can me and my girl go stay at your pad apparently the boyfriend without consulting Samantha said no bro
Starting point is 00:59:02 there's not that much room and the brother was at it's cool but she was like damn you wouldn't help my brother out. What do you say about that, Diana? I think he has a point. The fact that you am, I get it,
Starting point is 00:59:18 things are hard, their house might have burned down, they need help, there's other ways to offer them help. The moment you allow someone into your house, you're inviting all kinds of things. You don't know the stresses that they're under, the stresses they're going to put you under, the stress they're going to cause your relationship, if there's kids involved. It's like they say in Spanish,
Starting point is 00:59:34 the Muerre and Arrimado A L'Rérymada. So once it's been a certain amount of time Yeah, but this you're going to go in three days? Wow! I need to Google translate. What about the rim? El arimado, that means a person that's closed by
Starting point is 00:59:52 No. What's arimado mean? Nearby. Arimado is kind of some, yeah, someone who's kind of like overstaying, I guess. Yeah. Oversaying the welcome.
Starting point is 01:00:02 Okay. So a dead person is the same. as someone that has stayed over for too long. After three days, they both start to smell. So you are, that's a while. That is. Who told you that? And why does Angie know the same quote?
Starting point is 01:00:16 I don't know it. Yeah, it's Mdicho. Oh, okay. Dan, do you have brothers and sisters? I do. I actually have a sister who was affected in Semia Valley and another one who was affected in Granada Hills. What hotel are they saying?
Starting point is 01:00:30 Are you a middle child? They were, so I'm in NoHo. So they were, um, getting the alerts that they would possibly get evacuated, thank goodness they weren't. My sister in Simi Valley hasn't had power for like a whole week. She's been using a generator. But even then they're like, you know what? We don't want to go bother anybody.
Starting point is 01:00:47 We'll see how we make it out here because everybody knows we can tolerate our children. We can tolerate our spouse. But when it comes to other people, it's going to cause problems in our relationship. And then that little thing that we helped out now, like Miguel was saying, the boyfriend or the husband to leave because he was uncomfortable. He's like, all right, I'll let you do you. But then what did that cause for them later? Yeah. We can offer them help.
Starting point is 01:01:08 Hey, look, I got a few days on a hotel. I'll help you out. Or is there anything else we can do for you? Maybe somebody has a house that they rent that they could possibly ask them for. But like to bring someone in, I grew up with my parents bringing people from Mexico and El Salvador, our family was visiting. It was the most uncomfortable thing ever. It's like, I don't want to leave my door open.
Starting point is 01:01:28 I don't even feel comfortable with showering. I don't feel doing this. And that's something you're inviting. You want to help. And it's in our, yes. It does build character. It builds a lot of character. It builds connections.
Starting point is 01:01:39 Yeah. It builds family. So we all went through the same experience. It just did something else to you than it did to us because it was, I'm similar. Like it was a disturbance in our home, but we kind of are like, hey, this is how you help people. Even if it disrupts you. And you're like, uh, not helping if it disrupts me. It's 2025.
Starting point is 01:01:57 Do not disturb my peace. Like, work for this. Yeah. And that's the unfortunate thing that now we're, in our. parents now they expect us to help they expect us to do so much put yourself aside get them a job get them this get them that and it's like dude i'm fending for myself too it's expensive i'm trying to make it and not everybody has the same mindset like oh i'm gonna go in and work hard and do a good job because then you give them the hand and they bite it you know what i mean no i get too
Starting point is 01:02:22 so after after those alerts went out did you also send an alert to your family like alert you're not coming here yeah no she went dmd yeah She hit them with the collar you have just no longer taking. All right. So what would you tell Samantha about her man? I think she should talk to him. I don't think his intentions were bad. It was more of like he's probably, you know what, it's going to cause discomfort.
Starting point is 01:02:51 We're probably going to argue. Maybe they don't get along. Maybe they have had some kind of back and forth before. Who knows? So again, to save her relationship, it's possibly, hey, you know what? he might have turned down, but ask him why. Understand why he did it. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:03:07 I think they're arguing anyway, though. Yeah, they're arguing. She did say that when she hit him, he said, like, there's other things that they can do. They don't have to come here. Yeah, they don't have the space either. Like, there's evacuation centers and stuff like that. And I think she just felt like, man, like, that's my, that hurts me. That should my family need me, you're going to say, like, hey, there's other people that can help.
Starting point is 01:03:27 Yeah. Are you in a relationship? Yeah, I'm married. Okay. So if your partner, if your partner, if your partner was like, hey, let's say when their family member needed a space and they're like, hey, I need them stay here, you're going to be like, nope. Yeah, I figure out. No, no. No, and I'll give you guys a perfect example.
Starting point is 01:03:51 I had to travel out of state for a family event. I won't say too much details. Was a wedding? A wedding or a funeral? A celebration of it. A celebration of one. It was going to cost. He decided for him like we're going to go, right?
Starting point is 01:04:06 And he said, we're staying at my sibling's house. And I said, hell no. No way. There's no way because of the way I felt about it, right? And she said, there's cars. There's a house. Here. Say here.
Starting point is 01:04:18 No, no, no. So I ended up booking a hotel about an hour and a half away on purpose. So we wouldn't be in that house all the freaking time. It makes sense. It's your own comfort. Yeah, yeah. She doesn't want to be disturbed by people. when she doesn't want to disturb people.
Starting point is 01:04:32 Like, I think with her, it's reciprocated. It's not like she's going to expect someone to give her a hand out, but she's also not handing out, nothing. Yeah, not even pamphlets. Don't even show. Don't come to her house on Halloween. Yeah. Oh, for sure.
Starting point is 01:04:45 Oh, yeah. Yeah, she'll give candy. I don't think you will. I don't know. I don't think so. No, I'll give them a list of where they can get candy. Yeah. There's a store down the street.
Starting point is 01:04:55 She's like cornered a light. El night of night. Yeah. Hey, Diana. I appreciate your comedy. Yeah. I appreciate your honesty. Somebody standing on business with me.
Starting point is 01:05:02 I respect your gangster. I do. You know, she runs that household. Oh, for sure. She does. He knows what he married? He's like, yes. She was standing on business right there.
Starting point is 01:05:16 She was like, she was on it. I like it. Leave her along. I like you. Nicole, Nicole from Anaheim. Nicole, good morning, Nicole. Good morning. How are you?
Starting point is 01:05:28 How are you guys? Good. Nicole, what would you? What would you tell Samantha? Her man didn't want to help her brother and his girl kind of used their spot during this whole fire situation. The fire area that they're in is pretty much contained so they don't need to evacuate. But the brother had hit them up like, hey, should something happen and we need to evacuate? Can we go over your crib?
Starting point is 01:05:50 You guys live in Echo Park. Our parents don't live close. They live in Henderson, Nevada. And then that the boyfriend answered for them and was like, no, bro, we don't got space like that. and she feels really upset about it. What would you tell her? I would tell him to start with me for any place to live. For her to tell her man.
Starting point is 01:06:09 Yeah, I don't think it's appropriate that he answered for her. That's her family. He should have discussed with her first. And taking into consideration, like, what they could be going through. Yeah. Regardless if you have the space or not, there's always space. Let's be honest. Like, unless you have, even if you have a studio, there's still space.
Starting point is 01:06:28 And I don't think they have kids Because that's not what they said Yeah, they didn't imagine kids Yeah, exactly So there's always space And like after they got there Like everybody was saying If if, you know, they were like
Starting point is 01:06:40 Oh, it's a little too small But at least they give them a peace of mind That they know they had somewhere to go Yeah I mean, I don't know like he should She should know what Now I feel like she feels different about him Obviously her brother's gonna feel different about him
Starting point is 01:06:53 Maybe if he doesn't say anything Yeah Well Diana from North Hollywood Doesn't feel different about him Diana from Northali was like, hey, yeah. Diana had a previous experience, obviously, with something, with her in-laws, family, whatever. So she has that little grudge in the back of her mind. And she was traveling.
Starting point is 01:07:12 This was not a state of emergency. This is a state of an emergency. Yeah, that's true. That's different. Diana was like, you got to protect your peace at all costs. And she means it. If there was a bull and it was like, you either save someone from drowning or you get a peace for the rest of your life. She's like, yeah, they can die.
Starting point is 01:07:27 Yeah. They got to figure it. Everybody keeps saying like, oh, he should have asked her first. Okay, he asks her and he still says the same thing. Then what? Yeah. Because she didn't mention they both pay half, right? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:07:38 So let's say she says, yes, help them. And then he says, no, there's still, like, it's still undecided. Discussions are important. No, but if it's an undecided, who would. Yeah. Yeah. Oh. What goes on there?
Starting point is 01:07:49 Like, I'm not sure. But, I mean, I think just the fact that, like, there wasn't a discussion. Sometimes people just want to feel heard or at least hear some reasoning. Yeah. You know, to be like, okay, well, I didn't even think about that. What class did you take? Who taught you that? About what?
Starting point is 01:08:03 Can you teach that to other guys? Yeah, to just let them feel heard and just consider them? Oh, this has been this new thing. I've been in a relationship. So after like past two months, it's like, whoa, like this is a whole different world. I love that for you, bro. Teach that. Try and try.
Starting point is 01:08:18 Other guys need to hear it. Yeah. So we just got to support women. Yeah. Oh, there we go. There's a very good. There are very good. There are sarcastic.
Starting point is 01:08:27 Have two families? Steve, Callie Wings What's up Steve? Hey, what's Steve? Calli Wings. How's it going? Hey, bro.
Starting point is 01:08:34 What up? What up? I'm sure that you're going through it too in the San Gabriel Valley, bro. How are you? I'm good. How are you guys doing, man? We're good. Talk to us.
Starting point is 01:08:44 What would you tell Samantha from the hit us up on Homey, How Play? Well, I mean, I feel, I know it's hard, but right now there's harder times for people. I mean, whether or not you've got enough rooms for them or whatever it is, there's somewhere you could put them in your house. You know what I mean? Oh. It's crazy. Everyone needs help right now.
Starting point is 01:09:04 Like at the racetrack all weekend, there's been so many volunteers, so many people helping. Like, everyone's just trying to, when we all stand together, look what we could do. Yeah. There's so many different places where people are donating and helping and all throughout, all everywhere. So it's like, right now people need help. And if you have, like, even a couch, there you go. here's some specific review you know what I mean I think Samantha is with you but clearly her man
Starting point is 01:09:30 isn't so what would you tell her in that situation I mean and this this time I mean they have to do it it has to have to get done their family needs somewhere to go if he don't like it then he got to go I mean that's that's her family
Starting point is 01:09:46 you know I mean that's his family they're together there are a couple yeah what about with Greg Greg won't open up his doors are you gonna deny Greg don't even have doors he lives with his mom That's why my room is staying locked That's why nobody's allowed in
Starting point is 01:10:02 He said you ain't got no doors to lock It does have a lock Nobody's going in there Greg has closet Wow You want space? It's not in my room Oh my god I say Greg Diana from Noho
Starting point is 01:10:21 Oh but she's married Greg Diana from Noho And then the boyfriend in Nekle Park You guys can just make your own community. You guys have a community. Protect your peace. And then like literally know that if they ever need you, you're not going to have their back again.
Starting point is 01:10:32 You never need them. You should try to live in a three bedroom or a two bedroom and see how that goes. Oh, yeah. What I'm staying in the living room? But Cali Weeks did make a great point about San Anita. San Anita racetrack. We were there this past weekend. Greg, the street team went out there on Friday.
Starting point is 01:10:50 Yes, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. And we had the pleasure to have on the line, Alan, who actually started Santa Anita. Like I guess I'll let him kind of tell one. Yeah, yeah, yeah. We have Allen on the line. Alan, good morning. Good morning, guys.
Starting point is 01:11:05 How's it going? Amazing. Alan, did I speak to you when I got there on Saturday? Yeah, yeah, yeah. We did, we did. My Hoover High alumni. Oh, yeah, yo, yo, yo. So, Alan, talk to me.
Starting point is 01:11:17 How did this all start where, because it seems to be one of the biggest places for donations and donation sites. How did this start where the San Anita racetrack becoming that? I know you had a big hand in that. I'm just going to say by the grace of God to begin with. I'll start from the beginning. My pastor reached out to me.
Starting point is 01:11:38 He said, hey, guys, there's like a couple families that need some food. They're at the local church. They were just disowned. Their house burned down. This was on Tuesday, just right when the fire started up there in the San Antonio area. So I went on TikTok live. There was a couple of TikTokers, like making hot talks for the first responders, reached out to them and said, hey, guys, can I come grab some hot dogs, pass it over to the church?
Starting point is 01:12:04 They said, come by. They gave me 40 hot dogs. I took it there. Somebody saw me on the TikTok live, said, hey, I saw you at the Rose Bowl. I have about two cars full of stuff. Can I take it there? I said, yeah, just come on by. There's going to be first responders there.
Starting point is 01:12:15 And then it just took a snowball effect. We were not expecting this. Within about 24 hours, we outgrew the Rose Bowl and the National Car. moving said guys like we love what you're doing but you need to move you wow they moved us into a different parking lot we get to that parking lot we start unloading everything is set they came in they're like guys this is getting even bigger than what we expected we got it like we got to find you guys the biggest like a bigger place um someone gave me some gentlemen from the pasadena city gave me the phone number to the san anita racetracks um mr pete i gave him a call i said hey mr pete i don't know what i'm
Starting point is 01:12:50 doing but i'm trying to do something um can i come over there I get there, and ironically as it sounds, as I got through those doors and they gave me a place, I turned around and I saw a red truck pull in and I said, oh, what is that? That's a Power 106? And then the guy literally, Brian came behind me, parked this car, said, you know, we're here with you, man. Like, let's go. And I said, like, he's like, you need a mic to start this. He gave me the mic.
Starting point is 01:13:14 I said, guys, set it up right here. 10 minutes later, they called me to like, you need to move to the other end of the parking lot. So I grabbed Brian, gave me the mic from Power 106 again. I said, guys, last time we're moving, I promise, we moved down to the parking lot. They gave me a third of the parking lot. The next morning they call me. They're like, we're canceling all races. You have this place until Wednesday.
Starting point is 01:13:33 You can use our whole facility. Wow. It hasn't, like, to help and stopped. I needed restrooms. Some guy, like we stopped and said, hey, I have restrooms. I needed lights. Somebody brought me lights. The night before, I needed my security to not sleep in his car for the third day.
Starting point is 01:13:52 some guy was like walking by the game man i got a i got a RV like uh i live like 10 minutes from here like you guys want me to bring it he went he got me an RV for my security um i don't know what's happening but the city of city of angels came together the angelinos came together um it started as a fire rescue for the for the fire victims but this turned out like like it turned out for the hood man the hood showed up for the hood uh we started collecting donations for from waters to baby supplies to pet food to clothing. If I was not mistaken, somebody told me, the park official said these last three days have been the three busiest days of the park's history.
Starting point is 01:14:36 They gave us a million square foot parking lot that we used, they said we used every inch of it. Some, obviously, mostly for parking, the rest for the, for all the supplies. the thing that the thing that I love the most is how we we grew so much quicker than the fire the city of angelinos grew so much faster together to work on those fires not just with the firefighters that are actually working on it but the people that are hurt at home we're trying to help everybody this isn't just going to be the people that of course we want to get the people that were affected by the fire but this is going to turn into a snowball of inflation and everything so we're asking all families we stopped taking donations last night it's just because we were so overwhelmed we have so many things yeah I'm gonna start today we're building the team together to see all the victims that are in effect like affected by it so we're gonna start reaching out to them one at a time last night I got a call from the there was they had they have four
Starting point is 01:15:41 Marines set at 10 different locations they're like hey we need power banks so I was at we went to Walmart last night at 11 p.m. about power banks dropped it off to the we're doing whatever we can at this point yeah you're seeing anything that need like any spot that needs filling and then you're there to take over we're there we're just tell you know what allan like clearly we we both grew up in glendale and on the sixth on the seventh everything started on the sixth was armenian christmas and i know that's that's a time to be with your family and i'm sure that you're very family driven but for this to happen so close to that holiday, which I know in the Armenian community is so big. Do you feel like this also kind of
Starting point is 01:16:24 activated you to do something about it? Understanding people may have lost family members and their homes and all of that, us also being very close to Christmas in itself. But I know that the day before was Armenian Christmas. Right. I mean, you couldn't have said it better. Just whenever it gets winter or like family just comes closer together. And this is like right after winter, you're like, oh man I wish it was like one more week of one more week of Christmas one more week of New Year's and then us me being Armenian we get blessed on the six to have that like one extra day you know and then just like to have the family time and then the next morning like to be honest my friends lived in the palisades and she goes to Pepperdine and she sent us a video and said guys like like
Starting point is 01:17:07 like they're evacuating me like we're out of our cars or running like obviously until it doesn't hit home it doesn't like it does you don't realize what's going on yeah yeah yeah So, I mean, like, like, I was sitting there and I was sitting at home and I was just looking at, I was like, I got to do something. Like, like, there's something I need to do to help somebody. And to be honest, I still don't know what I'm doing. I'm asked, like, everyone's helping everything I've needed, whatever I need, everyone's helping me with. So, like, the city is coming together. This isn't just, like, I didn't do this.
Starting point is 01:17:39 Like, the city of, the city of Angels did. Like, my name is there. I don't want it to be. But it is what it is. And like I said, from the second I touched down into the Santa Anita racetracks, Power 106, gave me a mic and said, do your thing, boy. And they've been there with us. They've been passing every news that I need.
Starting point is 01:17:58 They're saying it on the mic for me. You all been spinning from morning till night. You guys came to me Friday and said, I'm going to have a guy here Saturday, Sunday. Last night they told me I'm going to have a guy there on Monday. Like you guys, I can't thank you guys enough for when you guys are doing to spread the news, sending people, sending families. I had a little girl come up to me and say, like she was like 70 years old.
Starting point is 01:18:24 I don't want to get emotional, but she just came up and she said, hey, are you Allen? I said, I said, I am. And then she said, well, my mommy told me to come and say thank you. And she just, like, she turned around and it was like, she just like ran away. Yeah. I haven't seen her saying, I wish I, like, I just wanted to hug her, but like,
Starting point is 01:18:42 it just caught me so off guard. Yeah. Yeah. They're like, you know, we're just, we're trying to do this for the community, you know, as much as we can. And just keep your heart that way because as open as it's been and as, I guess, as activated as you are, you're right. Like, God's working through you, bro, and you're being allowed to be that person and you're taking it on with stride. That thank you was intentional. Like, you need to know that we are very thankful for what you're doing.
Starting point is 01:19:09 And I know, like, the team here, Greg and our guy, Brian, they're like, we heard about this. spot and we went over and whatever we can do it came authentically and it came because we all wanted to figure out how to help and you're seeing so many people join in because everybody has that same feeling you're just the the conduit that is allowing them to come do it at the sandinita racetrack and like you said no more donations are really needed however you do are you seeking volunteers to help out i guess distribute the stuff that you had or sort the stuff that you got? Ma'am, I'll never say no to volunteer.
Starting point is 01:19:46 I know people are turning away volunteers, but the most important thing is wanting to help and coming to help. Like, I'm never going to say no, you know, like, because nobody said no to me. And if you do, and I'm going to find a way around you to get there, you know. So that being said, we're taking volunteers all the way to Wednesday, even if it's you coming and saying, hey, I have an idea what we could, guys, I have over a million pieces of clothing.
Starting point is 01:20:10 from children to men's to adults come and give me an idea where we can get this stuff to if it's to the city of Angelinos if it's to the people around us if we have to ship it to Africa if we have to ship it to South America if we have to ship it wherever it could go let's let's work as a team let the city of angels really really rise and and work together to help not only our community but every community because everyone's looking out for us right now there's going to be time that they're going to need our help. Wow. Alan, I have a quick question. So, to be clear, you never had, like, a background in, like, putting together events like this or, like, community organizing.
Starting point is 01:20:47 This just kind of all started to happen this, like, this past week. I got a phone call and I got a Power 106 microphone, bro. And that was it. Wow. Is this something? And I'm glad, Loki, you took that microphone because our DJ just be saying stuff. Hey, hey. Hey, hey.
Starting point is 01:21:03 And he's like, really, actually do the announcements. I was there to help, all right? Also, is this something that like now you've gained like a new passion, you look to continue far beyond, you know, this fire situation? I mean, like, to be honest with you, I have a vision of maybe going to every city and just, you know, telling everybody donate to the city and whoever needs come pick it up. Like I've never, nothing has made me feel like this. I can't explain the joy that I'm getting. last night I took I looked at my phone
Starting point is 01:21:39 I took 53,000 steps I don't think I've ever taken that Let's go Bro So That's amazing Like man Like let's just work as a community
Starting point is 01:21:51 To help L.A. But like the city of A Like people The thing about L.A. It's so good That people come from everywhere Yeah So
Starting point is 01:21:59 So that's right when we go to The Rams games There's a half the stadiums So with other people Because everyone's here from those places. Yeah. The good thing about LA, we feed everybody.
Starting point is 01:22:10 So we have so many sources. We have some actors, sure. But the rest of us are really from the city, are really for the city. And we're here to make a change, man. And if I could do this by one door at a time, one person at a time with the help of any, if you want, if you have an idea, this whole weekend, whoever's come up to me with an idea said, I think we should do this. I looked at them.
Starting point is 01:22:31 I said, are you willing to execute it? Can you do this? Go ahead and do it. Like, and we keep it moving, you know, like if it makes it to you, because I'm not standing where you're, if you're telling me the volunteers need to do this, this, this, this, I don't have time to stand there with you and do it because I'm running around the whole time. If you're standing here and you think it makes this decision better, that's the only reason why it's worked. We have no, nobody has a, nobody has a, we only have volunteer stickers. Nobody has the event coordinator. Nobody has. Yeah. We have no titles. We have none of us have titles. We're just some boys from the hood, LA street vendors, giving them.
Starting point is 01:23:05 out food and it turned into this man wow come on i love that alan where can people i guess reach out or follow is there a social handle is there an email talk to me about that um i know let me get the social so i have i say the wrong thing
Starting point is 01:23:21 we started something just like literally two days ago it's called donations for us spelled out um you can find it on the sand i need a racetrack like that they've tagged some of they tagged it a couple of times but but at donations for us. And like I said, right now
Starting point is 01:23:39 it's for the fire victims. Tomorrow it's can be for the fire victims. Six months from now, it might be for a family up in Sacramento. A year from now, it might be a family from Arizona. We want to help everybody. Wow, that's amazing. And you were a food vendor previously?
Starting point is 01:23:53 What were you doing before all this, Papu? I work for a home health care agency. Like, I have no background in this. My pastor just needed some hot dogs and I was on TikTok live. Oh, I love that, Alan. Thank you so much for calling him, bro. I appreciate it.
Starting point is 01:24:09 Absolutely. Thank you guys. Thank you for the voice. Thank you for the voice for real. And I'm going to tell you right now. You can keep that Power 106 microphone, bro. It's yours. You sound better on it.
Starting point is 01:24:19 But I was telling Greg, too, the music that he's playing is so important in this moment because it's just allowing minds to get taken off what's happening. Also, not allowed, like, it's just a, to me, that's the beautiful thing, allowing there to be a presence of music and the presence of we're all together. And so I told our street team, Brian and Greg and the guys out there, this is important work. And as far as the radio station goes, this is our place in helping that we're getting the word out, getting there, being that support at least that way. So thank you for allowing them to come in in the truck and letting them have that space too, bro. Absolutely.
Starting point is 01:24:59 Nothing connects people more with music. Like if you guys like if you come You you were at the event Everyone's by the music Everyone's just smiling Having a good time Trying to get Trying to get through this together
Starting point is 01:25:11 You know And nothing like music to do that And like I said Power 106 Shout out to y'all's man For real y'all keep it down Every single morning I don't know how you guys wake up
Starting point is 01:25:21 This early to do this But man I can't I keep it You're all the real MVP Man y'all the real MVP's It's my guy Alan right there Alan too What's your church's name
Starting point is 01:25:31 Mosaic. There's one in Hollywood and there's one in South Pasadena. Awesome. I did see, I want to tell you that prayer tent was really beautiful to me seeing the, I believe the priest there's from Bell. And he was open to just, if you want to pray, I'm here to pray with you. Here there. One story about that. When we got to our second location, it was me and him in the thing.
Starting point is 01:25:53 And I looked at it as like, this could be big enough. He came with me, he said, I want to pray for you. He said, I want you to get everything you need. I'm not joking you. I didn't get into details with everything. He prayed for me at our second location. Two hours later, I got the biggest parking lot in that San Gabriel Valley. Incredible.
Starting point is 01:26:11 Wow. Incredible. I'm with you right there, bro. Thank you so much for calling in. We appreciate you. And we'll see you later because I know we're going to stop by again. The team is there. The truck is set up.
Starting point is 01:26:21 Yep. Thank you, Alan. Add donations for us. Add donations for us. And at Tannanita Racetrack, we also have the tags. Thank you, bro. man that's so tight yeah bring music I'm telling music brings everybody together it made everybody so happy
Starting point is 01:26:34 yeah music started playing everybody's just vibing dancing and just helping out as much as they can yeah yeah uh and then the pastor he speaks english and spanish yeah so that's there from the city of bell so it it's it's and and i remember we did it i did a i had recorded him doing a prayer and he was like it literally in this time nothing matters we are all human like you can sect like our guy alan armenian We're Hispanic. A lot of the families affected are black families in Altadena. You know, Palisay is clearly predominantly white.
Starting point is 01:27:08 But to see all of us affected, all of us in there as one, nothing brings people together. Unfortunately, like tragedy does. And here's where you're seeing human nature be at its best. Yeah. You know? It was crazy. When we were in the power truck, it was like a whole squad of people behind us just following us to the second location. Once we parked, we were surrounded by.
Starting point is 01:27:29 cars of everybody just hopping out, helping, donating, and it was amazing. I appreciate that, Con. Look, we are keeping you updated on the fires while also bringing you brown bag as you know it. And we were just in a commercial break, and we all learned that Bad Bunny is staying home. Which is not a tour.
Starting point is 01:27:51 He just dropped an album, incredible album. He calls it his favorite album. I know, I believe it was Rolling Stone Callers the Perfect album. It's a great. I love this album. I told you, like, this album play for the family. I love, like,
Starting point is 01:28:04 makes you want to dance. I know I cannot do any of those dances, but I will try. You try. All of that, yes. I only have one dance move. It's, I just put my arms in front of me and I do a wade and I just,
Starting point is 01:28:13 it's like the wagerena. Already, and then, but then you just wave. Oh, yeah. I didn't know that was my dance move. Greg showed me that. That's my go-to. But I wanted to do that to a bad bunny concert.
Starting point is 01:28:26 Remember, dude, bruh, I literally, I had, um, Verano Sinti, the album. Then it came to Sofi. Yeah. Right? And then literally with this album,
Starting point is 01:28:34 like, Angie, we're going, we're going to stop to this one. Yeah, everybody signed up. But, like, I'm like, it's going to come to SOFi. Maybe it's going to be into it. We got to be there because I have. And remember I told you guys, we're all going to dress up like, like, like salsa. Yeah. For this album that's called,
Starting point is 01:28:51 Deverea Tira More Photos. Yeah, yes. Like, I should have uploaded more. I should have taken more photos. And what he ended up saying in the interview is that he's not really a big fan of photos. He doesn't like being in photos. They kind of annoy him. But now that he's older that he wishes.
Starting point is 01:29:09 Yeah, that grown that you threw her phone. Yeah, we know. And he doesn't have a lot of baby pictures. So now that he's older, he wishes that he would have allowed his mom to take more baby photos. Yeah. Oh, that when he was a baby. He didn't like even taking photos. Yes, he never did.
Starting point is 01:29:25 Yeah, I know you know at that age. That's wild. So he wished growing up. that he would have just, because he always complained to his mom, like, oh, here we go, more photos. And he wishes now that. That's incredible. I love it, but he.
Starting point is 01:29:36 So since that album dropped, I know that I'm like, when's the concert, when is he announced a tour? And he just announced that his tour is not a tour. It's a residency. It's a residency at his residence of Puerto Rico. He's going to be staying in Puerto Rico. That's pretty gangster. Which is a Coliseum.
Starting point is 01:29:53 I thought it was a club. It's a Coliseum. Oh, yeah. It's pretty big. Mm-hmm. So it's their event venue, I'm assuming, out there. that he will be performing. And I believe what are the dates from where to where?
Starting point is 01:30:03 So that's the thing. So he opens it first for like the Puerto Rico residents, right? From like July. July 11 all the way to like July 27th. And then for like the public, which would be us, he opens it up. You guys. I'm Puerto Rican. August 1st.
Starting point is 01:30:19 It starts August 1st all the way up to August 24th. So you have like what? Three weeks? So July to August. July to August is the residency first half. is strictly for Puerto Rican residents. That's so beautiful. And then you're not a Puerto Rican.
Starting point is 01:30:33 You are Mexican and Salvadorian brother. Today I am Puerto Rican. From Van I. It's the thing. He already has an address he can use. What happens? Why are you burning him out like that, Angie? Angie!
Starting point is 01:30:42 I'm kidding. I'm Puerto Rico. You've been to Puerto Rico before. Yes. Are you going to use the address of your Airbnb for a ticket to? No, I am using a friend's address, hopefully if it all goes well. I only want to party with the Puerto Rican people. Yeah,
Starting point is 01:31:00 because I want to be... You're not protect the island. You're not... If you're not... It's counter what that is doing. No, I am protecting the island. No, you are an outsider. Yeah, you are.
Starting point is 01:31:12 You're the gringo. You're the gringo. You're the people down at night when I was walking down on the project. In Puerto Rico? Not like if we were to go to Mexico? Where are the gringos, bruh. I don't know. I feel like...
Starting point is 01:31:22 You, yes. You definitely. No, I've been to the projects in Puerto Rico. I'm down near Puerto Rican. No, you're not. Once you go to La Perla? That's what Jake Paul thought too. And it's not the case.
Starting point is 01:31:32 You are, when they look at you, they look at the ring. I order the mafongo from the Senora. I'm Puerto Rican. Listen, once you go to La Perla at 2, 3 a.m. And you're good. You'll never be the same. You'll never be the same. No, they even let me use the restroom.
Starting point is 01:31:46 They offered me lots of nice things that I couldn't take because I was scared. But, you know what I'm saying? Now you're calling them bad people. No. No. Hard are they bad. They were giving it to me for free. It was like Amazon.
Starting point is 01:31:59 You said something. Everything was packaged. They were giving you sketchy stuff. No, not to other people. That's what you said. I'm scared. Medio Mielo. See?
Starting point is 01:32:06 I'm scared by me. Not I. The Puerto Rican wouldn't be afraid. See, I wasn't afraid. I would just like, you may be like close cousins or some people they like, but you are not the resident. No. Let the resident supporter. That defeats the whole purpose of what he's doing.
Starting point is 01:32:21 If you come in and go to that area. I always go when I go, I'm going. go to the area. No, go to that time. Pure respect. Yeah, pro respect to a lake. You guys have,
Starting point is 01:32:31 okay, how many times have you been there, Vic? Once. And you, Maximo? Don't worry about it. Once.
Starting point is 01:32:36 How many times have you been? I was there four, five days. She knows her place. She knows that she's never been. Exactly. But I'm trying to sign up. The whole time I was there,
Starting point is 01:32:44 guess what I was drinking? Water. Puerto Rican rum. Yep. I didn't drink one drop of tequila. So. What's Puerto Rican? Bacardi.
Starting point is 01:32:52 There you go. Why you say the name. Team outing to Puerto Rico. Okay. Yeah, I'm down. Tommy, hi, how are you? It's your son. No, because when you talk to them, you're Cuban.
Starting point is 01:33:04 Make up your mind. What in this area? No, I'm Puerto Rican. But we're an island, brother. Now you identify as a Puerto Rican. Island, brother. Island boy. I'm a back to the islands.
Starting point is 01:33:13 Yeah, I don't know why Marcymo's making all these plans. Me too. He does not have any vacation time. He used up his vacation time last year for the three years to come. He's in vacation debt. I'm taking losses, bro. Last year he told them like, look, I won't travel at all in 2025. Just let me have this day to go to Chile.
Starting point is 01:33:33 I was there for like three weeks. Yeah, I know. And then he came back and he got sick and they missed another week. Yeah. That was not my fault. And then he overslept in Vegas. Oh, that was not my fault. But I will be in Puerto Rico.
Starting point is 01:33:48 No, you can't be in Puerto Rico. I will be. Will you be working? I will have a mid-life freedom like my friend Jamie said. I know. So we're going? The thing about this album, which again, I love. It's so good.
Starting point is 01:34:02 He mentions about how he doesn't want Puerto Rico to get done like Hawaii. He doesn't like how people are just coming in and claiming the territory. He's not talking about people like us. We could ask him like you can say different. Like you, who's you guys? Don't put me you guys. Don't you guys. I've been there before.
Starting point is 01:34:21 All right. One time. You don't look like us. Your beard does. so I can pass for in the album it's kind of like
Starting point is 01:34:31 don't come to Puerto Rico like don't do that don't like take our resources don't know that but this album is like hey if you want to see me come to Puerto Rico pretty much
Starting point is 01:34:42 yeah it makes sense but it could be like like what is it reverse psychology yeah it is because he's bringing resources
Starting point is 01:34:50 come to Puerto Rico yeah well okay I was signing up right now And you have to ask. And what are you signing up for? Is there a website that he now you have to sign it? No, me care of it.com.
Starting point is 01:35:01 Yeah, you have to go to the website. And you have not a resident. No, no, no, no. You have options. So you go to the home page and then there's the dates. So it starts off saying like, okay, if you are like saying like you're not from Puerto Rico, you can start signing up from August 1st. So then you click on the date and then from there it starts asking you questions to
Starting point is 01:35:19 sign up with like your first and last name, your phone number, email. But they have, that's what I was about to say. they have trivia about bad bunny. They want to make sure that real bad bunny fans are there. Yeah, we're not helping you, Vic. No, I already signed it. I already know.
Starting point is 01:35:31 So it asks the name of the last album and even like the stylization. Wow, we said that in front of him. That's like he got it. You didn't even listen to the last album. So pretty much. Yes, I did. Oh my God.
Starting point is 01:35:41 What do you mean? What was the last album? This one that just dropped. Whatever the question, what was the answer? It was, uh, debo dee dee dee dee de tar my photos. The last album is Monaco. Oh, that's the last album. that one.
Starting point is 01:35:54 No, it's not Monaco. That was the lead single. Oh, what is it then? It was something else. It was with him on a heart. He got a text message. What? Someone said we are going to PR.
Starting point is 01:36:05 Not cool. Was that someone your girl? He's Puerto Rican. Oh. Let's go. What was the last album then? The one? I didn't listen to that one.
Starting point is 01:36:13 That's the question, though. No. It was this album. So then it would ask what is this album? Yes. Debi de Tiro de Tired Mas Foto. Oh, my God. You did that happen.
Starting point is 01:36:24 You didn't know. I'm already. Make them say it into the microphone of the computer. That will do a way better. I already passed a test. You guys can't do nothing. All I know is that I'll be there in July and then you guys, you know. I'll be there too.
Starting point is 01:36:38 I'm going to be there in August. What was Benny's last album? I actually went to that concert. No, not even who to perform because I don't remember. Dadia. Yeah. Yeah. No.
Starting point is 01:36:46 No. Oh, yeah. Only Angie King should go, to be honest. And I'm her plus one. D. Only Angie can go? Yeah. I'm better chill.
Starting point is 01:36:55 You guys are not welcome to Thailand. Angie wouldn't be scared to go to La Bella. You didn't even listen to the album when it dropped. That is a lie. No, because we came a couple days after you're like, oh, I heard two songs. I told you that I was stuck on the Hawaii songs. I told you that was stuck on the number three on the day it dropped. I don't know.
Starting point is 01:37:09 I don't know, but as far as this group goes, the first person to talk about the album was me. No, it was Letty. She told me, she texted me and she's like, have you heard it? I even gave my review. I even said what you can hear what it sounds like. I said, this is an album. for that girl with the emoji, the dress emoji, the red dress. That's like, I'm seeing.
Starting point is 01:37:27 Which wrestler came out in the champion video? You can't give me trivia. Let's go. And Victor, you're the one that said, oh, I was listening to a few songs and it sounds experimental again. Okay, letty's lawyer. Actually, they can.
Starting point is 01:37:39 I thought Lepid's lawyer was Sweet James. Sweet James is all of our lawyers, sir. Yeah, fool. And by the way, he can help you out through any crisis. So it does. He can be your lawyer too. Sweetjames.com. Angie's just right.
Starting point is 01:37:52 What am I doing? He was right. Did he hear or did he not say it was an experimental album? No, Vic, this is. Because he only heard the Hawaii song. Because I, yes. By the way, the Hawaii song sounds like a regular bad bunny song. It does.
Starting point is 01:38:04 This is a lot of great. He was talking about conscience. Great, I just send the screenshot. Can you post it on Brombe? Morning is one else. And say, should Vic deserve to go to this tour? And then I said, only heard a couple songs need to listen more. Even there.
Starting point is 01:38:16 There. That adds to it. That adds to it. Thanks, Greg. I'm posting that right now. Yeah. I can't wait for the comments. Vick Swanker, would you like to say anything to protect
Starting point is 01:38:23 him? Hey, Jose, he's talking to you. I wank myself. Hey, yo. Wait, so are we going? Are we going? We're going. We're going.
Starting point is 01:38:35 We're going. We're going. You're making friends beef over who is more. I don't know. I just want to protect the island. Don't say that. I do. Because you are not protecting it by doing the scam that you want to do.
Starting point is 01:38:46 Yeah. That's not a scam. It is. You're saying you're Puerto Rican and you're not. You're not. I'm a resident. I'm a resident. I'm a bad night's resident in Puerto Rico.
Starting point is 01:38:53 The word? Van Nuys resident in Puerto Rico? Connecting like I'm rosecrans. Rooscrans. The word is Janaya Eko shared footage of her lost home and then publicly commented on the situation. So as we learned last week, Janaya Eko was one of the thousands of people who lost their homes in the LA wildfires. And on her Instagram, she shared footage of the remains of her home as well as posted like an actual photo of her house saying that other blogs got it wrong that, you know, other photos that they were posting were incorrect.
Starting point is 01:39:28 Also, she posted a post on her feed. It was kind of like a stream of consciousness or like someone like of a poem. And I have a couple excerpts from it. She said, in gratitude always, it seems silly to mourn material things. But when those things are connected to memories, it is heavy. She said, grief is a tricky thing, but possession is an illusion. Nothing ever truly belongs to us. only stay for a limited time always and she also said loss is a gift a lesson in gratitude a lesson in
Starting point is 01:39:59 presence she said to love to suffer to feel is to be alive to live is the greatest gift what a blessing what a miracle to be here to feel at all wow yeah and that's from someone who lost their home to fires and what i'm seeing is as these people are getting interviewed that have lost their homes the same sentiment is kind of being applied of where we lost this whole thing but we have each other, you know. I saw a couple that was being interviewed in Altadina, and the husband was like, this is another journey in life, and way older, probably like in their 70s.
Starting point is 01:40:34 And, you know, I don't know what tomorrow is, but I have my wife, so I know that we have each other through it. You know, it was so beautiful to see that. And there's ups and downs in those moves. I'm sure she's broken down. I'm sure she may get into some other feelings, but it is important, at least for her to let the world know. I guess on that end.
Starting point is 01:40:53 And she had posted a photo of her family. I believe she was not there. And then her neighbor sent a photo of her house burning. So it's not like you could even try to save it or whatever. You kind of just see what's happening to your life. And it was really sad to see then to find out this isn't the first time. No, no. She also shared that as a child.
Starting point is 01:41:12 She lost her home in a fire as well. So she's unfortunately been through this before, which is just like so saddening to have that. Reliving it. Reliving it kind of probably having that PTSD. of like everything up in flames again. And also like statistically, what are even the chances of that happening to somebody twice? You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:41:31 Also, you know, there was a lot of people kind of lacking empathy for her and other celebrities. Right. For sure. But specifically to her, you know, she commented back and said, you know what, I don't got it like that. She said like, you know, it's not just going to be easy for me to pick up and buy another home. You know what I'm saying? Essentially. But she said, but I do have a big loving family that is worth more than anything.
Starting point is 01:41:52 So she's just staying so positive and, you know what I'm saying? Like giving, I think, a lot of like just positivity, like sending out, you know, to people that have, you know, probably been affected. Maybe they can look at her page for some positivity. Like, man, she's just one of us and she's looking at the brighter side of things. Yeah. And to know that, again, that has happened to her in her life previously and she still has that, I guess, that positivity to look at the situation. You know, a lot of times when people lose their homes or they have these fires and their experience. of life that doesn't leave you anytime you smell a campfire anytime you have like smell it in the air
Starting point is 01:42:27 that can trigger memories of back then you know i believe i was reading a story where the kids kept saying that they could smell it and that it's hot and so like you can't turn that off you know your body your nervous system is forever changed after that so i love to jenay man and it's beautiful that she is able to look at it in such a manner in a positive positive yeah absolutely also uh chris Brown demands shortened sentences for prisoners fighting California wildfires. Wow. All right. So in a heartfelt Instagram story post, Chris Breezy said, Los Angeles residents should
Starting point is 01:43:01 honor the first responders and firefighters involved once the fires are under control. And then he also argued that inmates should be, that are helping to fight the fires, should have their sentences reduced for their efforts. But actually, that is already a thing that happens here in California when you're part of the program. Some members can Camp participants, I should say, can earn time credits.
Starting point is 01:43:24 So most of the incarcerated fire crew members receive two-for-one credits. So it means that they'll receive an extra two days for every one day that they're fighting fire. It'll go two days in their sentence. Exactly. And then you, granted, the pay is horrible.
Starting point is 01:43:41 I know there's different paying jobs in there. Yeah. And I'm not, I know enough to know that I don't know enough, right? There is a whole system in place. we spoke to incarcerated or previously incarcerated firefighters on the line last week. And they were saying like, yeah, it's a dollar for what we did. There's other jobs that pay more. But this is something that I wanted to do.
Starting point is 01:44:02 It feels like you can go outside. And it each has their pros and their cons once you're in there in order to like which program to be a part of. Exactly. And I believe they also said it helps expunge their record in some way, shape, or form. Again, I'm not knowing. It's a stepping stone also. if they get out to be able to try to get in the field, it's difficult, but it is a stepping stone.
Starting point is 01:44:24 Yeah, exactly. It could be better. I do agree, but I think also sometimes, and maybe not for Chris Brown's bad, but a lot of times we are like, they need this and they need that, but it's also an uninformed opinion. Like, they do get, they already kind of have things like that. And it's not like a blanket for everyone I'm reading here that it's, you know, violent offenses can earn up to 50% credit, but non-violent violent offenses, participants. can reach up to 66% credit.
Starting point is 01:44:51 For other time service. Exactly. So, you know, some people get more credit than others, just depending on their offenses and the things that they've done and stuff like that. And Vic, I've also heard the argument that why do we let them fight fires while they're incarcerated, but not when they're out, right? And I think that that's period. I guess if you did a felony, it's going to be tough to get any job.
Starting point is 01:45:12 But we spoke to Ruth, who was previously in that fire camp, and she's now a part of the department. So I guess that just shows me like there is some form of pathway in order to become part of the actual fire department once you get out. So it is cool, I guess learning more about this stuff throughout this, like this tragedy and this event that we're all getting more hip to. Yeah. And Chris Brown isn't wrong because to me that makes total sense. Like, wow, they should, they're risking their lives. They're putting, you know, all these things and supporting the community and helping out.
Starting point is 01:45:44 So it should be, but they kind of already thought of that. You know what I'm saying years ago before, you know, in other wildfire, you know, instances and stuff like that. Shout out to the frontline locals, man. Shout out of all the firefighters and that are coming in from out of state, out of country, that are coming in from our different, the different prison systems to come help fight this fire. Different states. You just see so, like the guard, the national guards coming out. I guess you can't not but appreciate this help, you know, all their work. Absolutely.
Starting point is 01:46:13 Yeah. Well, that was your word on Rose Cranes brought to by our local Southern California. California Toyota dealers. I'm Rosecrans, Victor Brown Bag Mornings on Power 106.
