Starting point is 00:00:00 It's Power 106. LA's number one for hip hop, windows Diaz. Good morning. Good morning. You're not going to be able to talk, brother. Yay. Oh, Greg. Do you want to tell us about how you deleted all the photos?
Starting point is 00:00:11 Oh. Give me like five seconds. I won't change to the screen. Hold on. This is for you, Greg. I did this for you. Yeah. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:00:18 Do you guys don't do that. Do what? I delete them. Oh, yeah. You did say that last time. I delete everything. Everything. The contact, the photos, the messages, the number.
Starting point is 00:00:26 Once you're gone. Like, even when I block you, I'm going to block you for a that works or you know that you're blocked and then I'm going to delete your number off the block list so I don't have your number. This is shocking me. Whoa. I was very emo. I'm being in like, how's an emo?
Starting point is 00:00:39 It's just like I thought maybe you gave yourself some time to like process it and then you delete them. No, like you like right off the bat like exactly like when you broke up with her you. Gone. That's it. Even the recent calls, voicemails. That's how you know he's hurting. How do you know? What do you mean hurting?
Starting point is 00:00:58 Yeah. Yeah. You know how we're talking about even when you're blocked, you could still see like the person's note if you go to their profile, which is a little note that they put and it'll be on their little picture. Yeah. He just put ha ha, ha, ha on his little note. That was for something else. For what? For who? Dang, so if you had the option, Greg, you would do the men in black like, shoo-oom, like erase your memory too, huh? Erased all the good times we did. But like, why?
Starting point is 00:01:25 There was a lot of them, huh? Yeah, there was a lot of them, yeah. Because there's like, there's good times, you know? And it's like, even if you fall off with the person, like, the good times are still there. Yeah. And now I can't do that with the next person because I'm just going to be thinking about that person. Trauma. I delete everything.
Starting point is 00:01:38 I don't care. So do you believe it's better to have loved and have lost? Or how does it go? I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. What? You know what I'm trying to say.
Starting point is 00:01:46 Yeah. There goes, yeah. I'm just trying to pause at this. Yeah, what if you get back together? It's a fresh start. What? Hey, nice to meet you. Nice to meet you.
Starting point is 00:01:57 My name is Craig. This Groundhog Day. Yeah. How you doing? Bro. Come here often? Oh, my God. Fresh art.
Starting point is 00:02:05 That's wild. I swear, I delete everything. Everything's gone. Gone, gone. Like, you don't have any archives of anything? Gone. What about your recently deleted? Yeah, I was going to ask.
Starting point is 00:02:14 No, gone. You have 30 days to retrieve. Yeah, there's other stuff in there, too. I delete that. When you're doing it, are you crying? No. I think it's just more of like, He's in a bit of rage.
Starting point is 00:02:24 Yeah, I think that's what it is. I'm just more of like, Ah! And then like I'll scroll again through the feed and I'm like oh I skip that one like let me get that one again Or even like when if it's do you like that I think it's okay you should you should do you unlike all the photos you ever like But process at first. And delete all your comments you ever commented? Well I block so it's like their the likes go away.
Starting point is 00:02:43 Have you ever seen baby boy? No. You like when they fight in the stairway. Yeah when you block somebody. When you block somebody your likes and your comments go away. I don't know that. I'm actually not mad delete everything once it's over. Yeah, gone, right?
Starting point is 00:02:57 Like, you don't need it. The next relationship you get in, let's say she gets in your phone and all your exes' photos are in there. If you didn't do that. I would be mad. I would be heated. I get that part. Probably I would delete them, like, as soon as I start talking to someone. But, like, if I'm still single, it's like.
Starting point is 00:03:12 Single? No. If I'm going to be in my bed at 10 o'clock and I'm like, damn. Yeah, so you can process that and cry it all. No. He waited until he got with someone else to delete those pictures. That means he's with someone else looking at his ex's photos. That's wild.
Starting point is 00:03:26 No, not like that. It's going to be like that. You don't have a Google Drive folder of all your exes? No. Just kidding. No. You do? No.
Starting point is 00:03:36 That's pretty crazy. Very specific to be asking. I'm going to look at all of what his Google drives. I feel it's going to happen. It's probably not even that. Dropbox. Photobugged. But Greg, is it like, is it ever really over?
Starting point is 00:03:55 You know what if it's just That's like me accepting that it's over If it comes back, it comes back Other than that, like, I'm just like That's it like Third time around? It was meant to be, it came back already Yeah
Starting point is 00:04:07 Yeah, but I don't know if it comes back again Cool, it's a fresh start Yeah All right Come back with a third kid So then why did you Why did you, why was your note Ha ha ha ha and it
Starting point is 00:04:16 He was laughing at something else What? I can't say it But you do it Oh my gosh It was just funny I can't say No, no, no, no, no, no.
Starting point is 00:04:28 It's funny. Make it, like, read of friends. So then why do you put it in public so people can't talk about it? I don't know. I just, I wanted somebody to see it. That's how I know you listen to the drink. I wanted somebody to see it. And then.
Starting point is 00:04:42 Was that somebody a girl? Yeah. All right. Wow. It was somebody. Okay, that's why he deleted them, all the pictures. It was the, remember the person that you saw me, no, the other one, you told me texting the other day. You're like, who's that?
Starting point is 00:04:57 I was like, don't worry about it. Oh, God. All right. All right. So you did that for your mom. Crazy. No. Scrolling with all me.
Starting point is 00:05:06 Gremory. Gregory. Gregi. Hi. The Super Bowl is coming up, and everybody's looking forward to the halftime show that Kendrick Lamar is going to be doing. Yeah, we are. The number one question, though, is what song is Kendrick Lamar going to start off his set with?
Starting point is 00:05:21 That's so funny because we definitely had that conversation. Off air. Well, he already did this one at the pop-out, and he already did this one last Super Bowl. Yeah. We were all trying to figure it out. I'm trying to think right now. Well, they decided to ask the Chiefs and the Eagles players what they think Kendrick Lamar is going to start off his set with, and this is what they had to say.
Starting point is 00:05:40 Listen to this. Probably mustard is scuble up. Mad City. Oh, Mad City would be fired. Mad City and it ain't coming to the G&ET. I hope it's Mad City. I think he's going to be between Don't Kill My Vibe or Money Trees. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:05:50 Nah, he's not going to sing that at the old. He loved Krenterman. It could be TV off. It was the song to say, Mustard. That's the same song. It's the song. I would be shocked if it wasn't not like that. It's totally right.
Starting point is 00:06:00 One of his throwbacks, Mad City, maybe. It could be not like us. I personally want it to be poetic justice. I think it's going to be not like us. Turn his TV off. The one he won a Grammy for. Not like us. Where they scream mustard, I think it's mustard.
Starting point is 00:06:13 Yeah, kind of like that. I don't know. But I know when he played Not Like Us, state him going crazy. It's a miracle Travis Kills didn't say bad blood. Oh, you're right. Hey. Oh, my girl.
Starting point is 00:06:28 Somebody says something about Taylor Swift. Yeah. I don't know why I see him starting off with money trees. I was thinking that. How dramatic it is. Yes. Because it sounds cinematic. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:38 Yeah. I like that. Someone said Poetic Justice, which is the collaboration that he has with Drake. I don't think he'll start out with it, but I, something in my bones is telling me that he's going to play it somehow in his little, and then maybe like cut it off, shut it up. Oh, my. God.
Starting point is 00:06:54 You just blew my mind. Okay. Who's on that? Who do they sample on that? Janet Jackson, Super Bowl. Yes. The her return to the Super Bowl. That'd be crazy.
Starting point is 00:07:03 And guess who's, is she related to who? Michael Jackson. Yes. And Drake wants to be Michael Jackson so bad. He's going to bring her sister on. His sister. Oh. Well, he wears purple because who wears purple?
Starting point is 00:07:16 Prince. Yes. Oh. Wait. In the thunder and rain. And what was raining? Purple. Purple rain.
Starting point is 00:07:24 Purple rain. And then it's a country song. So it's a perfect lead into Beyonce! Oh! Oh! It makes sense. It's crazy. I love it.
Starting point is 00:07:37 All right. That was really deep right there. No, deep cut. Drake said he's Michael Jackson and then Kendrick said, I'm praying. So then this whole thing, it's... But he's going to bring out Janet Jackson. Janice Jackson. No wardrobe malfunction this time.
Starting point is 00:07:51 Nope. That's that. Do you have a song that you think is going to come out first? Yeah, I would say money trees. Money trees, okay. Angelica, humble. Yeah, I feel like he'll come. Nobody pray for me.
Starting point is 00:08:03 Nope. I think all the stars. To start with all the stars? Right off the best. Right off the back. That would be fire. It would. It would.
Starting point is 00:08:11 Because I think about the intro of the song. Like how that feeling would feel. Yeah. How that feeling would feel? When the beat starts, it's super cinematic as well. I like Met City all of that. I do like that like that Rar on this is it?
Starting point is 00:08:29 However, I don't know that that's like a start song. I just feel like when the Super Bowl performances happen, it's just so fast. It is. Yeah. It's going to be eye for. I love myself. I love myself.
Starting point is 00:08:46 I love my love it. I hate the way that he was right now to that. There's so many options. There really is. Big, did you say which one you think? No. If he brings out his immediately, 30 for 30, I think would be dope because the way it starts, too. I really wish he started with P&P.
Starting point is 00:09:05 No, backseat freestyle. Backseat freestyle would go crazy. I don't think he could perform for me. No, I do think the ones that he did at Super Bowl, when Dre was at the Super Bowl, I don't think he's doing this. No, I don't think so. And that was all right. And Matt City. And Matt City.
Starting point is 00:09:18 Oh, yeah. I think you can't redo that again. Same place. No, but if he does, it would still hit. Bad blood then. Oh, I'll be pissed. Thank you, Gary. Yes, it's gloomy outside.
Starting point is 00:09:33 Rainy day activities later on in the show. We're going to play a flag football for the Super Bowl. You know, we do that during the rain. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, get in the mud. Not going to lie, I was one of those kids that would go outside when it rained at the school. No way.
Starting point is 00:09:48 Did you ever dance? Yeah. Be drenched. Yeah. Be drenched going to class. Red socks. 9 a.m. But you're wet.
Starting point is 00:09:55 Yeah. No, that was one of those. I was always like, no, I don't want to get my shoes dirty. Even since I was a kid. Like, always. I needed to because I'm like, I'm going to get in trouble. So you guys are just like standing there. Like with a little roof, just watching me and my school.
Starting point is 00:10:09 We'll just have a great time. Yeah, we used my backpack to cover myself from the rain. I would get colds. And then you know how like in school you had that Navy blue sweater? Yeah. Oh, yeah. We all had it? Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:10:21 Navy blue sweater? Yeah. Like a. Yeah, it's like, yeah, exactly. Navy Blue Kuhnick. It's just like a classic uniform? We're not talking something out of this world. More people get what we're saying than don't.
Starting point is 00:10:32 Yes, Navy Blue, bro. What age range is this? They were just like standard. Like, you just, I don't even know if we'd buy them. We just wake up and they're there. What did you wear as a kid? Panties? As a kid?
Starting point is 00:10:44 Yeah, this was. I would have got dress code for that. Yeah. Anyway, back to the story before Greg being annoying. What the heck is this? Take that off. Sal Eagle. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:10:53 If I. All right, forget my story. Go ahead. Let's go. Do more advanced. Go. System of a down. Yeah, go.
Starting point is 00:11:02 Keep going. Red hot chili peppers. I actually like them. Yeah. Hot chili peppers? Just offensive names. I feel like. Just let me know what you're done.
Starting point is 00:11:09 We're done. We're done. We're done. All right. So then I would go out and I'd be playing. And then I would get sick. Uh-huh. And then I would just like rub my.
Starting point is 00:11:19 On the arm. Of the blue. You're just. No, I swear to God. I have a core memory of just like... You were a silver-tooth kid. For sure. Look at me now.
Starting point is 00:11:32 Come on. Look at Janelle flexing the strawberries because those are expensive. I know. You guys should see, letty is rich right now. She has like 12 strawberries just open. Wow. Just for the ambiance. I don't know if I want them here.
Starting point is 00:11:46 I have a lady. She's getting a pack of eggs delivered too, just to flex on them. Yeah, the brown ones. Stupid But yeah That's like a core memory It being rainy We're running in the rain
Starting point is 00:11:59 And also like wiping my snot In that navy blue School setting Your steeps are all white What? What? I'm just the first say admit it Okay
Starting point is 00:12:08 We're all little silver tooth Yeah yeah for sure This one Greg was a silver back But Never mind It's like greenback It's like greenback
Starting point is 00:12:20 Records baby Bring back records, baby Records, baby Yeah Okay, we have shoutouts Who is shouting out today? We got a lot of shoutouts Because people are finally

Starting point is 00:12:41 He listens every single morning On his trips He wants to shout out his girl's small coffee business She says cafe in la Casita Let's go Small Coffee business And they both said Thank you for all the last
Starting point is 00:12:51 Oh, you're welcome. Appreciate you, bros. Ricardo wants to shout out to turn and everyone who's going to Nola for the Super Bowl. Hey. Ricardo wants to what? Let's go. Shout to turn. Oh, okay, okay.
Starting point is 00:13:04 I was looking for. Oh, turn. Yeah. Right. Yeah. Gustavo wants a shout out. He says he tunes in every single morning as well. Let's go goose.
Starting point is 00:13:11 Alex from Portland. Alex from Portland wants to shout out as well. What's up, Alex? Alex. Steph wants to shout out her daughter who's sitting in the car with her right now, driving on the way to school. Yes, we are. It's okay. It's raining. Yeah.

Starting point is 00:13:40 Ma. Yeah. Are you going to pick up early? Yes, I got to go back on the radio, okay? Bye. Yeah. Yeah. already, no.
Starting point is 00:13:53 Once these kids get the communication device, it's only to get them out of school early. I know. That's crazy. Yeah, it's a lot. I'm like, no, bro, you're staying in the after-school program until 5 p. Because it's raining, I get it. No, they do this every day.
Starting point is 00:14:07 Oh, it's every day, bro. Oh, man. It's worth a try. Yeah, it's like I want to try it. Got more shout-outs. Okay, let's see. Desiree wants to shout out her man, Joe for being a hardworking man. Let's go Joe.
Starting point is 00:14:20 Yes. That's right. And then we got birthday shout out. Stephanie wants to send her man a birthday shoutout. His name is George. And she says, can you throw in to propose already? It's almost been 11 years. Oh.
Starting point is 00:14:32 Almost there. Almost there. You're already married. Just one more year, right, Maximo? Two. For California marriage? 13. No, they're already in it.
Starting point is 00:14:42 You know what? You know what? Even if you don't propose to her, don't whatever for the ring or whatever, your guys' logic of not proposing. Don't do it. Still give her a wedding though. Yeah. Give her that.
Starting point is 00:14:54 A wedding? Give her a wedding. With that the ring? Oh, the party? If these fools are all like, me in the middle, these were, oh, I don't want to buy the ring. So just that's all the document. Yes. Yeah, including yourself.
Starting point is 00:15:03 Documentations. Oh, what is written down. Okay, cool. Then just give her her party. Give her her party that shows her that you love her. Boom. That's a good. Boom, that's it.
Starting point is 00:15:11 Let's go to Shakeies, baby. Yeah. Bunch of love. Mojo's on me. Yeah. That's pretty cool. Mr. and Mrs. Okay.
Starting point is 00:15:22 JM on Instagram wants to shout out Leti. He said he appreciates you for having the microphone and everything that you're doing and continue to do. Oh, that's sweet. That's very sweet.
Starting point is 00:15:31 That's very sweet, JM. Yes. Cassandra wants to give a birthday shout out. JM is me. It's my burner. Just me. Shout out you, JM. I appreciate you.
Starting point is 00:15:41 Because loki, I was going to say, hasn't social media been more mean recently? Like, I don't even like checking it. Yeah. Every other day, it's someone telling me what they hate about me or what sucks about me
Starting point is 00:15:51 or what's ugly about me. It's been tough. Since the, like the protest post and stuff. Oh, yeah. But remember I told the convoy I had with you guys? Like, we got to stand on it. It's going to come with a lot of stuff.
Starting point is 00:16:03 I open it. Something else is wrong with me. My nose, my ears, my lips, my face. I'm like, I'm just not going to get to.
Starting point is 00:16:09 The only thing I admire about them is how early they wake up and hate. Yeah. It's like five. I'm like, we woke up at the same time. You're bad already. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:16 Yeah. Yeah. That's crazy. But for, that reason, I appreciate you a lot, Jam. Yeah. The DJ Flyer that I posted, somebody was hating on it. Why would you post this as, I'm like, I'm promoting? I'm like, what are you talking about?
Starting point is 00:16:28 Really? Sorry, bro. No, that's cool, though. But anyways, Cassandra wants to give a birthday shout out to her lady. She said her name's Monce, and they both love Brown Bagg mornings. Monce! That's a beautiful. Montse is one of my favorite names. Shout out to your girls. Yeah, Angie, I've said this all the time. She does.
Starting point is 00:16:44 I love the name Montse. And her gift for her birthday. Her gift? Yes, her gift. Brownbag Valentine's tickets. Go, wow. You're gonna have a great time. Is her Monset short for something else? Monset out. Yeah, say something.
Starting point is 00:16:57 No, I was just wondering what it, like, what it stands for. Oh. Is her birthday, bro? Are you the one that hates the name? It's either you or Duno. I forget which butterball. I used to make a girl in middle school, I would call her Monsorette. Monster rat.
Starting point is 00:17:12 Wow. Did she know you guys were dating? That was his little monster. Okay. Happy birthday, Monce. Monce. Yeah. You have your name.
Starting point is 00:17:24 Okay. Imagine her last thing was Ponce. Monce, Ponze. That'd be cool. She'd say. Montse, shop on. Imagine when she turns onse? But also, Ponce could be like put it on or put something on.
Starting point is 00:17:37 Ponce. I know, but you can mess with it. Monse Ponce Ponce. If I say Monse Ponce, Ponce Lampils? No. Ponte. I know it's Ponte. I know.
Starting point is 00:17:47 It's rap. It's rap. You mess up some words. It's like fluctuate differently You know I'm not upset in a song All right Those are our shoutouts
Starting point is 00:17:56 That's our shoutouts Happy birthday Monce Felizue Plius Happy Let's get into Simper Pimp or Pimp Or Pimp
Starting point is 00:18:05 PIMP Sip Sip Sip Sip Sip Sip Sip Sip Sip Sip Sip Sip Sip Sip In Japan You can now hire People known as Tier White Professionals And what it is It's a service where you can supposedly hire a handsome person that is going to comfort you, watch sad movies with you, and will even dry up your tears.
Starting point is 00:18:30 If you cry during the sad movie. Sad movies always are going to cry. Yeah. So this is the service they're providing. It's supposed to be like a companionship therapy service. Is it only for sad movies though? Can I just wipe my tears in general? Why would you be crying to?
Starting point is 00:18:46 No, it's a companionship. I think one of the things. is like we can like that's an option like we can watch sad movies if you want if you're already not sad when they get there I guess yeah yeah so Greg yeah I mean I'm assuming when they walk in you'd already be sad yeah yeah I'm assuming my companion she's your cheer wear professional she's my yeah yeah she's like right here baby girl we just hang out and we all we do is nap yeah what yeah and then get boba yeah and then she's like oh I'm gonna go pick up the kids I'm like okay
Starting point is 00:19:19 Yeah It sounds like a relationship It's a friendship So essentially you're You're hiring a friend Someone to do friend stuff with you Yeah Which is kind of sad in itself
Starting point is 00:19:29 Like do you think they cry after they leave? Oh like that Like they miss them? Or they try to figure out like Is this real? It's like no you're paying me But like Oh
Starting point is 00:19:39 What about the end? They're like Are we friends? That's happened before What to you? Where I You paid and you want to know if it's real You're so good
Starting point is 00:19:47 You just admitted to being a John, Braden Paddy, come get him. And his plates are expired too. Yeah. Yeah, snitch. Wait, didn't you, Greg, didn't you say that you used to just link with a girl and just cuddle? Oh, yeah. And then send her home?
Starting point is 00:20:03 Yeah. Was she a tier white professional? I want to cry around here. I would just call her to cuddle. So cutter, cuddle professional. Cutty buddy. Cutty. Literally just call her like, all right.
Starting point is 00:20:14 It's the end of the night. You come over. So I read this story to Maximo. It seems to be like it's guys. Guys that come over. Yeah. A handsome guy. And, supposedly, it's meant to say, like, it's handsome dudes.
Starting point is 00:20:25 Yeah. So, maybe, like, for girls that. Heartbroken? Can't pool, maybe? Can't pool, lonely. Oh, like Dusbigolo. What? What about that?
Starting point is 00:20:35 Meligula? Yeah, the movie. Okay, what happened? Yeah, what happens? He was a professional also. All right, I don't get it. A professional? Yeah, but he wasn't a tier white professional.
Starting point is 00:20:43 Oh, okay, okay. He wiped after. That was it. And this is Simper Pimp for the people hiring? Yes, for anyone hiring this tier wire professional. Okay. It sounds like a good plan. You know what it is?
Starting point is 00:20:54 It's that it might not even be girls that are not in a relationship. They might be in a relationship, but they're men don't do those things. He's not sensitive enough? Yeah. Yeah. And what you won't do, I could pay someone else. That is a crime. Pay somebody else to do is crazy.
Starting point is 00:21:07 You guys do it. Like, you're on sad movies? Yeah. I don't really like watching sad movies, but I'll do it if I have to. Listen to. If I'm watching a movie with Jorge, it has to be a scary movie. and I don't like that. Oh, damn.
Starting point is 00:21:21 Yeah, because we don't like getting sad. Oh, my God. You don't like beating your feelings. My girl doesn't like scary movies either. I'm like, that's going to be a problem. I love scary movies. Oh, my gosh. What am I supposed to do?
Starting point is 00:21:34 Yeah, we can't watch my dog skip every time. You know, it'd be sad. 500 days of summer, it gets old. We've already watched the 500 days of Earth. Okay. Is it super primed that these girls are hiring guys to come over and cry with them? Very sim. Super sin.
Starting point is 00:21:50 Very sim. Because they're paying for it. Yes. It's a service. Okay. Sit. Sit. Sit.
Starting point is 00:21:56 Sit. There you go. Right. Check this out. Homie. You need a homie or need some help. We need your help. We need a line.
Starting point is 00:22:03 I mean, phone line. We got you for the homie help line. Joseph needs our help. Joseph. All right. Joseph sent us a DM and said, what's up, Brown Bag? My name is Joseph, but they call me Jojo. And I need some advice.
Starting point is 00:22:17 Joe Joe. He said, I'm originally from Florida and moved out to L.A. two years ago trying to chase the dream. My fam, including my brother, still live in Tampa. So next week is my mom's birthday and I'm heading to Tampa this weekend to visit the fam. However, my brother called me and broke some crazy news. Uh-oh. He is now dating my ex. Oh, wow.
Starting point is 00:22:43 Ouch. Pack him out. Fight him. That's not your brother anymore That's not your brother anymore No it's your brother-in-law now Oh I'm walking out
Starting point is 00:22:55 No, never mind, never right now Yeah, how No, never mind I got to confuse it Okay No, it doesn't make sense It doesn't It doesn't
Starting point is 00:23:02 He doesn't He doesn't He hits him if you don't think about it Yeah For a second you hit Yeah Okay so I thought about it
Starting point is 00:23:07 His brother hit If you don't think about it Oh All right, okay All right So he said Are you guys picturing your brothers That is disgusting.
Starting point is 00:23:18 He said, he's now dating my ex. The girl I was with for a year before I decided to move out here. He said, we all grew up together and we were all close, but never thought this would happen. He said, I'm pissed, confused, and really don't know how I'm going to act when I see him. I did see an Instagram post to them together eating, and I replied, what the hell? And he ignored it. Now, finding this news out got me upset. Should I stay back and cancel my trip?
Starting point is 00:23:46 I don't want to ruin my mom's birthday, but I also know if she knew and never, I also don't know if she knew and never told me. Which would make me more upset, and don't get me started on that, whoa. On the girl. He's man. All right.
Starting point is 00:24:04 You got to fight everybody. Fight everybody. Even the mom for making him. Even the mom. Why would you make my more likely mom? mom. That's wild. Yeah, he needs some help, badly.
Starting point is 00:24:16 The brother on the other side, who had just started dating the girls, probably like, I got to do this before he comes. Yeah. Yeah. For sure. Do you think the brother and his ex? I don't know if trauma bond is the correct word, but maybe the brother left and they were like, man, we miss him, kind of thing.
Starting point is 00:24:35 Or that he's the reason they got closed? Yeah. Yeah. I don't know. Yeah. I think that happens kind of often because it's just like. like two familiar people that you guys know each other and then it's also like it can be the draw of like we're not even supposed to be hanging out you know and then that can like attract them oh so what you're
Starting point is 00:24:53 saying your ex date's your best friend then yeah yeah how you feel it yeah because your brother's 17 yeah so that's what's saying your brother would be illegal the age that big dates hey they they they could it could happen oh no it can what yeah it can no it can no it can't Bro, your brother turns 18 next year, right? This year. Oh, this year. Okay. Your girl is in her early 20s.
Starting point is 00:25:20 If he turns 18, he... Not early 20s, mid-20s. Okay, no, but... But do you have that I'm saying? I know, yeah. He could be dating an older woman if she'd be, like, four years older. It could work. It could.
Starting point is 00:25:32 Use his brother. All right. Your brother. 13 18. My brother? See? What? Start dating one of your exes.
Starting point is 00:25:40 I'll tell my mom. And then it turns out to be your ex. my mom whoop his ass and she would she would she literally would she'd go over there anyway okay
Starting point is 00:25:50 so no like how I would react basically right yeah I mean well okay I have this situation similarly it was with a cousin though
Starting point is 00:26:02 it was a cousin that I'm very close to he ended up dating almost like a brother right he ended up dating a cousin I'm sorry Oh, hold on. Hold on. It's because I have to explain it.
Starting point is 00:26:19 So your cousin is your cousin. Hold on. And that was your ex? No, hold on. The narrative continues. No, okay. No, he ended up dating an ex of mine. But why I said cousin was because it was my best friend's cousin.
Starting point is 00:26:34 Right, so we all knew each other. Who's your best friend? I don't know. No. No. You're 23 of me is going to be crazy. It is. No, so that ended up happening in real life.
Starting point is 00:26:47 You know what I'm saying? I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. Okay. So your cousin dated your cousin that you dated. No.
Starting point is 00:26:55 Shut up. No. No, my cousin dated an ex of mine. Okay. That ex I was with when I was like 15. Right? And this was when we were in our. And that ex was your Tia's daughter.
Starting point is 00:27:05 It was crazy. No. Vic, you can't get out of it. I know. That sucks. Okay. Yeah. I see you really different now.
Starting point is 00:27:16 To think this all started of me making fun of my cousin for being like that is pretty funny. Being like what? Now you're going to say the story. Yeah, the narrative of Big kissing his own cousins is because he said that when he was little, his cousins would all kiss each other in the jumper at the parties. But we're like, bro, if your cousins did that, you were there. So you did that. No, I heard about it.
Starting point is 00:27:37 I heard about it. I was too young. Didn't let me in the jumper. Oh, boom. But no, so anyway. It was big kid time. It was big kid time. So it happened.
Starting point is 00:27:47 Don't get your cousins. Hey, don't do that. Big cousins that listen all the time in Chicago. In Chicago. Yeah, please call up. Settle the score. That is no it's going down.
Starting point is 00:27:56 So that ended up happening. And again, my cousin, you know, we were very close. And that girl, it had already been five, six years. And it was like a younger, like I said, I was like 15 when we dated. So to be honest, it really didn't bother me. Wow. The way you had moved on, it didn't really bother me. It didn't bother me. But I think it bothered him.
Starting point is 00:28:18 Yeah. You know what I'm saying? So it gets tricky. It bothered him that you were first? Yeah, basically. So he didn't know then. No, he knew. Of course he knew.
Starting point is 00:28:26 But he didn't like it. I think he cared more than I did. Did they stay together? No, no. Oh. But they, you know, a couple months, dating or whatever. And I never said anything. I was just like, bro, if you want to be happy, if y'all are meant to be like, I'm, I'm not going to be.
Starting point is 00:28:39 No, I didn't care. But I didn't care. But it was also, I think it was because it was like a relationship I was in when I was so much younger. If it was an adult relationship, like, no, I would be like, bro, what are you doing? And how did you find out? I think my best friend, that was his cousin too, and he told me. So he was like, hey, you know, like, well, I was, oh, damn, I don't said the name. You know, my cousin was with your cousin.
Starting point is 00:29:02 Yeah, you know, and I'm like, what? And then he's like, yeah, food. How do you feel about that? You know? And then I'm just like, I really don't care. I'm like, I really don't care. And then everybody thought I cared and I really didn't. But I just had no more feelings for her.
Starting point is 00:29:16 It's also like, it's puppy love and it's a long time. I feel like this is like a year. It's still fresh. That would be way different. And then this guy's also not saying he has a new girl or anything like that. Because also you might not care once. Like, I have my girl. I don't care.
Starting point is 00:29:29 Yeah. Okay. Let me bring you inside the mind of a man. He probably thinks he's going to go home. He probably thought he was going to go home in. See her again. And now he's like, my brother. I was going to do this.
Starting point is 00:29:40 that, you know? He beat me to it. Yeah. This is what happened with Skar and Mufasa and the new True. What's a great movie?
Starting point is 00:29:48 Spoiler. Great movie. Great movie. It's already been out for so long. They both like the same girl. Yeah. So it's such a lame story on by the way.
Starting point is 00:29:55 They were so layered and such an intricate story only for that to be the reason they beef. That's why he turned into a deal. They should just beef because Scarred wasn't king. That was why he hated his girl. He took his girl.
Starting point is 00:30:04 He took his girl. Yeah. For a girl? I know. It was so dumb. It makes more sense. Like if you're going to keep it the story basic, keep it that Mufasa's king and then Scar is mad.
Starting point is 00:30:17 I'd be Scar too. That's how they made a team of the first movie. That'd be Scar too if somebody took my girl like that. Yeah. Well, it wasn't even a girl, you were being delusional about it. That scar was just all like. Was it Therabi or? I'm not even going to say anymore, but okay.
Starting point is 00:30:31 He wanted her. See. Huh? He wanted her though. Yeah, but just because you like a girl, but she liked me does not mean that, like, not not me, but. Yeah, I get what you're saying. Let's say you and you and Umbert.
Starting point is 00:30:43 You guys like the same girl. And Umberto's like, oh my God, I don't know how to talk to her. I don't know what to say. And then he goes up to her and he's like, hey, rocks. And then the girl's like, your friend's so weird. What's up with you though? And then he starts hating you. Is that okay?
Starting point is 00:30:57 Took one girl, boom. Yeah. When the girl's never his to begin with. Yeah. Boom, that's scar. Wow. Hey, Jack your pretend girl. Don't be talking about rocks, by the way.
Starting point is 00:31:08 That was a good movie But anyway Oh you saw it? Yeah, I saw it Oh okay Spoiler alert Yeah That was late
Starting point is 00:31:15 That was late But you're better than me Because I don't know Any girl that I dated If my brother were Or my friends are I'm like no You're off limits
Starting point is 00:31:22 Do not touch Anybody But you're over them huh Yeah I'm over Yeah but still don't Over them Yeah Yeah but the thing is that
Starting point is 00:31:29 This was a surprise So like That's shocker Yeah Yeah Okay and then Loki Kind of
Starting point is 00:31:34 Standojojo They probably Like They did their little Soft launch On Instagram or they posted together. And you're like, what the hell?
Starting point is 00:31:41 And then you didn't read into that at all that your brother was having food with your ex. And you're right. Maybe he showed like the picture of her hand and he told you didn't recognize that. No, he said he saw them together. And then he said, what the hell? That was a...
Starting point is 00:31:56 And the thing is, his brother is telling him ahead of time because I'm assuming his brother's going to invite the girl to the mom's birthday. Of course. So it's almost like, hey, bro, I'm letting you know now. because when you pull up, we're going to be together.
Starting point is 00:32:11 Damn. To make it less awkward? I understand him being mad at the mom too, now that I think about it. Because it's like, you're just going to let her around? We don't even know that he let her around yet. It's been a year.
Starting point is 00:32:22 Yeah, he assumed a little bit. He just. No, they dated for a year. Oh, they dated for a year. He dated for a year with his girl. We don't know how long. Don't blink. Why he's playing the mom?
Starting point is 00:32:31 Blame for everything. Wow. All you're talking about. What about the dad? Where was dad at? Where was that? He's obviously not around. He's obviously.
Starting point is 00:32:37 He's not around. All right. He's probably locked up. Yeah. And then what are you pursuing in L.A.? What? What's the dead, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:32:44 Apparently he's always locked up. I have to assume that every time. No, get out. That was, get out. Because that shows me you're not sorry. No, you're not. Joseph.
Starting point is 00:33:01 Jojo. Jojo's bro bro, does it know the bro code? Yes. Yeah. Joe's bro bro bro. did a no no that's right um Joseph uh he's living out here in LA originally from Florida and his brother's back home he left his ex back there and now they have linked up he left his ex he left his ex he left his ex he left everything he left everything behind and
Starting point is 00:33:26 his brother picked some of it up all right um his brother and his ex the girl that he was dating for a year before he decided to leave her and move out to LA are now together all right he doesn't know how to feel. He's supposed to go back home for his mom's birthday. He's mad at everybody. He wants to tear the place down. And he doesn't know what to do about it. Pick up the family. Yeah. Yeah. And he needs our help. Besides, uh, Vick's cousin getting with his ex who's, his cousin, um, best friend's cousin. Um, Greg. What? Yeah. Maximo. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:03 Either of your siblings, best friends, family members, any, like, have like a, like, a, like, don't you guys call this Eskimo brothers or something when you're with the same person? Oh, yeah. Yeah, that depends. Yeah. What do we know? That's the thing. Yeah, it is.
Starting point is 00:34:16 It is a thing. Okay. So, has that happened to either of you? Accidentally. Okay. Yeah. What happened? It was more like, uh, I didn't know that they dated.
Starting point is 00:34:29 And I was just like, oh, never talking to you. Oh, you did it? Yeah, I didn't know. So then you dropped the girl. Yeah, I dropped it right. The second that I found out, I was like, you're gone. How'd you find out? He told me
Starting point is 00:34:39 My homie told me He did Yeah Because I was just like Yo well like this girl blah blah blah He's like Ha ha ha ha ha
Starting point is 00:34:45 And I was like What bro He's like So yeah Her and I kind of Like A couple years ago Yeah
Starting point is 00:34:51 I was like oh Like I'm just Meal I was like gross And then like I just I dropped her Right then in there No like
Starting point is 00:34:56 Like I didn't explain to her at all Wait What if he was just kidding Or something Yeah Yeah Yeah Damn
Starting point is 00:35:01 That I got played I got played She's You have to at least Ask her She's baby The second I'm not even kidding.
Starting point is 00:35:09 The second that somebody says I've messed around with that person, you're dropped. You blocked her. Yes, blocked, gone, ghosted, everything. Gone. I think you should have at least asked. I think so too. But if he was trolling and you used to ask.
Starting point is 00:35:19 I usually ask. No, no, I don't usually ask. But like, I'm just saying the second that I find out, you're gone. Gone. Like, if, like, Vic were to tell me, oh, like, I messed around with her, but like, all, right, she's done.
Starting point is 00:35:31 I would, even if I had not done anything with her at all. Like, I ever just know her. Like, you're just dab up. You're a homie to me. But you know how you're always like in love like you're like you like you fell in love like super hard like oh my god. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So what if you were in there like in that love and then you find out? I would be gone.
Starting point is 00:35:49 I would be hurt but gone. You don't think so? No. You don't think I mean? So what if like, okay, you know how you have like a recent ex? I'm not talking about. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm already getting mad.
Starting point is 00:36:00 You see, like I'm already thinking about it. I'm already getting mad. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You get a call from just the guy that's in your brain right now.
Starting point is 00:36:12 Think of a close person in your life. No, I don't want to think about any guy in my brain. Wayby. Wavey. Why is he so ants? Dude, he's all. We need to get Wayby in here. I'm sorry for always bringing him up.
Starting point is 00:36:27 It's like we're talking smack. But we're definitely not. We're not. Greg just has a crush. But Wavey calls you. Can it be somebody else? Well, Wavy gets, yeah. No, somebody else.
Starting point is 00:36:39 Anybody. Anybody else? Jalen hurts. I don't know. Like, is that a reminder of you? No. It has to be someone that's like a brother to you. Maximil, Vic.
Starting point is 00:36:52 Okay. Both with women so they can't. Oh, that's true. That's why I chose outside. Damn, everybody is cuffed up. My homie Damien. Your homie Damien. Best homie Damien.
Starting point is 00:37:02 Best homie Damien. Yeah, childhood friend. Calls you and is like, hey, I know we're supposed to be getting to together going to our Disneyland trip you know how we always go yeah that just happened too yeah um i'm gonna take her i'm not going anymore no i'm telling him straight up like yo like i don't like i don't like that yeah like it makes me mad are you fighting him yeah yeah i'm fighting him yeah oh my god i'm straight i get you i get you i get you i'm straight up telling him like not like you ain't doing that okay so let's say like like if you if you end up not talking to him anymore
Starting point is 00:37:34 um for example with this guy If he just doesn't go, he's also missing out on his bond's birthday. So you're also going to be missing out on Disneyland. You're going to be missing out on all those things. So you'd rather choose that versus... I'm not going. I don't know. I want to see her.
Starting point is 00:37:50 But if that's like your brother, don't you want, like, love for him? Yeah, but if my brother loved me, he wouldn't do that either. Yeah. But also, I think sometimes, like, you might be the most comfortable. They might be uncomfortable around you. You know what I'm saying? Oh, how Vick said with his cousins, how he was the one that was like, I don't care. Maybe you're mad, but then if you think about it, like, maybe you're just over her, right?
Starting point is 00:38:16 So then you're there and then they're like, and you're just like chilling, like whatever, just minding your business? Yeah. That might bother them. More. You know what I'm saying? Nah, once like that, I can't. Like that, once that girl's mine, she's mine. If she's not mine anymore, she's still mine.
Starting point is 00:38:28 That's it. Oh my God. Nobody else to touch her. Even if you move on? Yeah, 100%. So let's say you're with the girl right now. you know. Not there's still mine
Starting point is 00:38:39 but they're still like something to me. Right. Do you think you're going okay with that? Part of my collection. Oh my God. You don't have any photos
Starting point is 00:38:47 of showroom. Okay. What about your DJing at a club, right? Yeah. And when your ex shows up with a dude and is having the time of your life,
Starting point is 00:38:54 you're leaving the club? Yeah, I'm playing Debo Thé right there by Bad Bunny. The sad. I like that. Hey. He's to come back. Okay.
Starting point is 00:39:02 I'm bad now. I'm happy. You are bad. Our homie Jojo. So our homie Jojo has been out here. year pursuing his dream. I don't know his dream of what, bro. But back home is a nightmare.
Starting point is 00:39:12 He got a call from his brother and said, hey, you know that girl you were dating before you did. I'm dating her now. And I had to tell you, I had to tell you before you came back home for mom's birthday. And so he's confused. What do you say? He's upset. Confused. And he wants to go and throw hands.
Starting point is 00:39:28 He wants to go and be upset. But also it's like, dang, I don't want to mess up my mom's weekend. And his mom got a straight too. She knows. Then he's getting paranoid. Like, who knows? Because you get like that. Who knew?
Starting point is 00:39:38 Who did we tell? Who kept it from me? That's the biggest thing, too. Like, how long has this been going on for that I did not know? Damien is not what shit your eggs, bro. Stop! Just me back. He might be.
Starting point is 00:39:48 He might be. He almost happened once. Aw. But no, that's what we're like, bro's like, yeah, respectfully. He was having a cafe-cito con. No, no, no, this is another girl. Brazilian girl. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:40:01 Anyways. It's a lot. Look at him. You were funny. You're up. Up now. Ready. All right, Jessica, any still late.
Starting point is 00:40:08 What's up, Jessica? One of the lead out. Good morning, Jess. Good morning, Brownback. Hi, Jess. Hi, Jessica. Good. Jessica, talk to us.
Starting point is 00:40:18 What would you tell Jojo and also Greg and also Vic and also Maximum? I mean, Jojo needs to leave it because he wasn't thinking of about her when he moved over here. So, at least his brother was thinking about her. So it is what it is, you know. That's just life. That's life. You'd be okay with it? I'd like that.
Starting point is 00:40:40 Look, my dad came from Mexico, right? You know, my mom was like, I'm going with you and I don't care. Yeah. So if there's something there, he should have bothered with him. That's true. You didn't make the effort or even to like date her afterwards. I get that. You did.
Starting point is 00:40:56 You left her. You left her behind for the dream. If she was like, like her, really, like it would, you're like, I'm not leaving you here. Yeah, that was the girl. And so it's like, it's one thing to trip about this about. the one for you. But this was just someone he dated. I think it was just the one that he thought he was going to go back home.
Starting point is 00:41:12 Like, he thought it was going to be his little Tampa thing. Yeah. It's crazy how you guys think just girls are like little objects and you're like, hey, stay here and wait for me after I go full around in L.A. And then when I come back, you're mine. That's what happened in Vegas. What? Hey. Nothing happened in Vegas.
Starting point is 00:41:31 Joseph thought that that was his Tampa Bay. Yeah. Yeah. He was thinking about that one. Yeah. But she was bookingering on the brother. Oh! He was booking her ear.
Starting point is 00:41:48 Te passus. Let's go to Maisha from West L.A. Maisha, what's her, Maisha? See, first off. Yeah. Yeah, she's talk to it. Yes, si, si, si, so. Drop his homie, because obviously he ain't a real homie
Starting point is 00:42:05 because he wouldn't have been trying to get his... He did his brother. He's his brother. You can't drop your brother. Agreed. Brother, his homie, whatever you need to drop it. Agreed. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:42:15 Thank you. So much for that. Thank you. Makes room for a real one. Mm-hmm. Okay. Anthony Q. Say, cut ties.
Starting point is 00:42:24 That's what you need to do. Cut ties. For real, for real. Yeah. Can he cut ties with family? Dropping your lap and you're going to be okay. Uh-huh. So I think, yeah, that part of the brother's stuff and, like, the girl's situation,
Starting point is 00:42:37 what about going back? home. Should he go back home still for the mom's birthday? Or should he stay out here? Why not? This is his mama. Mm-hmm. Yeah, but he's going to see his brother. He's going to see his brother and that girl. His mother can be there and nobody else there.
Starting point is 00:42:50 Mm-hmm. That's true. What if the-hmm? What if the-hmm? What if the mama accepted the girl to be like his... With the brother? Yeah, with the brother. Like, he's like, oh, she was like, oh, it's cool.
Starting point is 00:43:01 That's double betrayal. It's not double betrayal. Let them do what they do. Cut ties with them. Leave him alone. He's still not going to have to see him at the mom's party and all that. And the whole time he's over there. And he's supposed to enjoy himself and have the best time of his life.
Starting point is 00:43:21 Come on. All right. Come on. That ain't doing nothing. That ain't hurting me. That ain't messing with me. In fact, he needs to bring somebody to the party. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:43:31 A new Tampa Bay. A new Tampa Bay. Don't get mad about it. Because he who angers you, conquers you, conquers you, brothers. I'll be I'll be a time to say I'll go with you I'll be in a minute I get flued out
Starting point is 00:43:46 Thank you for calling Maisha appreciate you Good morning Thank you Hey You gotta pull up with a Like a level up Yeah pull up in a Mayback
Starting point is 00:43:58 Let's go to Eric in San Pedro Hey Janet and Carson Don't go anywhere I am going to you after Eric Okay Eric Eric. Eric.
Starting point is 00:44:09 Hey, good morning. Good morning. Eric, is it a good morning? What's going down? What did we just bring rehashing your life? Oh, man, you guys are about to hear a crazy story. But first, real quick, I just want to say, you know, shout out to you guys. Me and my son listen to you every morning on his way to school.
Starting point is 00:44:25 Oh, shout out of your son. Hey, big up to your son. I hope he's not listening to what you're about to say. No, he knows it's about his mom. Wait, what? I want to hear this time. What did you? What is it?
Starting point is 00:44:39 All right. All right, hold on, hold on, hold on. KWR, HD1, Los Angeles, Power 106, L-E's number one for hip-hop. I hope you have your tea. It is piping hot. Okay, talk to us right now. All right, so my best friend, right? This was my best friend.
Starting point is 00:45:00 Like, we went through everything together. We were homies, like, since, I think since, like, eighth grade all the way up until we were, you know, adults, you know, we were in each other's wedding. and so like my wife at the time was my son's mom and his wife were like good friends we introduced them right after you know we all got together and so after I left her when my son was like seven or eight uh they ended up getting together and they had a baby um like behind behind my back like and you know they try to act like the whole reason like she tried to say that wasn't his and my son's the one who ended up telling me the son that's in the car right now is you oh my gosh that's a real one yeah he's probably so funny huh what happened my son yeah
Starting point is 00:45:48 yeah what's that what's up what's up what up what up what up is that what up so you had to go through that but yeah it's you know it's crazy so now like it's weird because like his son and my son are brothers you know what so yeah and me and him don't talk we haven't talked since we got in a fight yet back in the day and it's just wild man it's a wild story how did you handle i guess like uh family stuff because that's what this fool's trying to figure out like how do i handle my mom's birthday right now how would you handle i guess like your kids parties and like clearly he's going to be there well to be honest up until last year he wasn't allowed around my son like like yeah they had to i told her like if you guys are together then you guys are together there's nothing i could do you know about
Starting point is 00:46:37 that but I told him I called him straight up and I was like look you know um if you guys are gonna be together that's on you but you ain't allowed around my son so we had already got in a fight man and man like that's my kid that's how you felt yeah yeah yeah you know so and it was more like a betrayal thing right like yeah like that was my best like and when I say best friend like we went through everything together you know what I'm saying so um and we haven't talked since you know what I mean to be honest what hurts more like the fact that your wife got what got with him or like that your your son is like his homie now and they like play and they like go eat together and
Starting point is 00:47:11 well they don't that you know as a matter of fact his mom just moved in with with him this past like the end of last year like in November and so my son came to me and he was like I don't want to live with them you know can't let your son build a relationship
Starting point is 00:47:27 you know what he doesn't want to know you know what good of a homie that guy is this is a good guy you guys want to answer so much together it was probably funny back in the day. Now I have full custody. I mean, he has, you know, so he lives with me full time now. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:47:43 You really, man. You're mad at me. I'll tell you something real quick because I get it. I get it from your perspective and all that. But like, like, I guess like your son is probably riding with you because he sees like that. I'm like, that got done dirty. But that don't mean he can't like, that's also the dad of his brother, you know? No, right.
Starting point is 00:48:00 Yeah. And I told him like, I'll be honest. At first, when it first I went down, I was like, that's the hop. You know? Yeah, April. Spit at him. Kick him. She was little.
Starting point is 00:48:12 You know? So now it is what it is. Like, obviously he goes and visits his brother on the weekends and stuff over there. So they're going to have a relationship. You know, there's nothing that I could do about that. When your son's brother gets older, are you going to make your son fight him? No, not. That's one thing about me.
Starting point is 00:48:29 I've never taken it out. Yeah. No, no. That's good. I always say what's up to him. I play with them if I see him and stuff like that. But I don't go out of my way to have a relationship with him either. No, yeah.
Starting point is 00:48:39 When you see the son, does it remind you of your homie when he was that little? Oh, you know since you guys were eight? Nah, no, no. Does it make me look more like your best friend or your ex-wife? They both are you answered? Who does the son look more like? Which ex-wife? Your ex-h.
Starting point is 00:49:00 Your ex-wife? I actually think you look like him. Oh. Hey, bro, Eric, we're clouding. I'm sorry, bro. I'm sorry, bro. Hold on the light. Hold on the line.
Starting point is 00:49:11 I'm going to give you something, bro. I got to give you something. Don't hang up, bro. I appreciate you. I won't. Hey, and shout out Isaiah. Isaiah, what's up, bro? That's my daughter.
Starting point is 00:49:19 You're a real one. Yeah. Isaiah's, be a man. Loyal to the soil right there. There we go, ideas. All right. You know he's going through it. Bro, that's a lot.
Starting point is 00:49:30 That's a lot. That's a lot. I'm just saying right now. I'm thinking about the kids. Like, that puts the kid in a weird situation. That's the type of stuff like when they say like I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy. That's what I'm saying? That's a big betrayal.
Starting point is 00:49:43 Tough situation. Super tough. You don't know how to maneuver it correctly. But shout out Eric, man. And shout out Isaiah. I like that they listen to us. And like that his son was like, hey, call in. Hey, guys.
Starting point is 00:49:52 It's our time. Tell them how I stood 10 toes down. All right. Janet from Carson. Janet. Good morning, Janet. Get out. I'm here.
Starting point is 00:50:07 Janet, we hear you? Janet talked to us, Janet. What happened? Okay, so it was two brothers, me. What? I had a baby with one of the brothers. And then I found out he was seen, you know, on the side of some other girl. And I got mad.
Starting point is 00:50:26 And so I wanted to stop him from being able to pull me in all the time. Like, you know, he could always pull me back in. Whenever he did stuff wrong, I'm straight up. and he pulled me back in. So I wanted some way to get him to hate me. So his brother got out of prison, and I went off with his brother. Janet!
Starting point is 00:50:49 Janet! Janet! Janet! No, no, no, no, no. Janet! Janet! Janet! You're bad, Janet.
Starting point is 00:50:59 You are the worst. I'm going to hold you out of him here. You are the worst. You know, I was being dead. done bad. So what I did just find away from him to stop being able to hate me so that he'd never pull me in again. But what happens is it destroys all the family. I got such bad credibility with my family, with his family, and I wish I never did it, you know. And not only that, I moved to New York to get away from all this. And my friend had just moved out there. And she invited me to come
Starting point is 00:51:32 stay, so I was going. Well, they invited him too. Which one? The prison one or the egg? The cheating one. The prison one. The prison one. He was such a menace to society that when we left, the whole neighborhood was outside applauding because he was leaving because he made such a mess in that neighborhood. So you took the brother with you? Are you okay? Are you a menace in the streets? Pardon?
Starting point is 00:52:03 No, Janet. Hold on. Hold on. I'm trying to get this right. Let me try to recap. And then maybe put me to next to your ear or something because it feels like you're like really far away. I'm driving. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:52:14 I'm driving. It's okay. Okay, you'll be safe. You be safe. All right. So what happened was you were with this guy and he just had a hold on you. You really got a hold on me. But he kept cheating on you too.
Starting point is 00:52:27 And you kept taking him back. And then you were like, oh, what do I do? Like he has such a hold on me. Ooh, his brother is. now not held behind bars. His brother just came out. If I get this guy to hate me, maybe he won't have a hold on me anymore.
Starting point is 00:52:43 So then you got with the brother. But then you stayed with the brother? Everybody here. Did the other brother have a hold on you after that? Or like, how did he treat it? Do you have cuffs? Which one? The first one?
Starting point is 00:52:59 Baby daddy. Baby daddy. Okay. You know, I heard him. I did, and I was glad. But still, it didn't turn out. good. Right, yeah.
Starting point is 00:53:09 The best thing for these two guys, yeah, it just, the whole family, his family, my family, my family really was not happy. Right. They were disgusted with me. Yeah. And I was just causing, and the girl, she shouldn't go to the party. She should be a better person and just stay out so that the family can enjoy themselves. Right.
Starting point is 00:53:27 Yeah, you're right. So anyway, it doesn't turn out good. You seem very remorseful. I am. I wish I'd never done that. But now, now. Now the baby's daddy and I are friends After all, I mean, but that was years ago
Starting point is 00:53:42 Yeah But what about the Tio? What about the uncle now? Where's he at? Back in jail? I don't, I don't know. As long as he does drink, he's fine. So he got, I think he's married now.
Starting point is 00:53:54 Oh, yeah. He's a little too. Someone else's problem. All right. Wow, Janet. Crazy stuff. You drive carefully, Jenny. Yeah, be careful, Janet out there.
Starting point is 00:54:01 And we appreciate your story. And we accept your apology. We accept your apology. On behalf of that family. I definitely. No, she's your most. She was, you could tell. She did her time.
Starting point is 00:54:10 She did her time. She paid her death to society. She's on parole. She's on parole. She's on parole. She was a parole officer. Out of state parole. Yeah, no, she left the whole state.
Starting point is 00:54:21 No, but like how she said, it tears down both families. Everybody. Yeah. And it creates like a huge issue. And it was like just for her get back, which was probably, I don't want to say justified, but it's like the guy wasn't innocent. Right. You know?
Starting point is 00:54:34 And then I, here's what I'm thinking. That's kind of, these are in the marriage. and the babies, like our first homie, he was married to the girl and they had a kid and then the best, and then her, she had a baby with the first brother. These two is a dating thing. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:54:51 When it's kids involved, it's a lot of people. Yeah, it was someone I dated that it didn't work out. Now I find out my brother's with it. It's more of an emotional thing of like getting over that about the brother. Yeah. I don't even know if it's about her. It's more about the brother.
Starting point is 00:55:05 Like, that's my brother. You're my brother? Yeah, it's just that. It's your brother. You went with your family. The back. What? Betrayal.
Starting point is 00:55:13 That's what it is. Yeah. And do you have a lot of sisters? I do. Okay. Tell me a scenario. Yeah. Okay.
Starting point is 00:55:27 You and that full breakup. Uh-huh. Okay. Wakala. No, yeah. That's all you have to tell me. I'm already picturing it. There's not.
Starting point is 00:55:34 Wakala with Yuli. Why did you do? Go directly to her. Marcus! God! See, you see, you guys have no kids. You guys have nothing. I don't care.
Starting point is 00:55:47 You dated me. You kissed me and all that stuff. And now you're doing it with my sister. What's the reward points? Use the rewards points on a sibling? It's crazy. Yeah, no. No.
Starting point is 00:55:59 It's a no. It's a no. It's a no. It's a big no-no. Would you still talk to your sister? I have to because my mom would make me. No way. It's true.
Starting point is 00:56:07 Yeah, it would. I don't think Angie would. I don't think you would talk to it. No. You don't know Angie's mom. You don't know my mom. Her mom sounds tough. Yeah, my mom would be like, my mom would be like, shake her hand.
Starting point is 00:56:20 Yeah. Shake her hand. Good game. Say good game. It's your man. It's your man. Yeah. That is wild.
Starting point is 00:56:28 Yeah, she would make me do that. Letti. I know. Sorry. Sorry. Jose is showing a picture of Duvalino. Which I don't get. Jose, get out
Starting point is 00:56:39 I don't get it Get out Hey Get out Get out It's a joke Say it Hey
Starting point is 00:56:48 Marcus wants to chocolate and vanilla Vinola Duvalin Because Yuli's Okay Get out Get out
Starting point is 00:56:56 Get out you xenophol The fact that You even thought about that Get how you're See what they're saying About our people Angie's Angie's sister
Starting point is 00:57:07 Literally This is insensitive, Angie. Are you okay? Are you sure? It's not going to happen. It's never going to happen. Angie and her sister literally look like twins. According to Angie.
Starting point is 00:57:27 According to people, not me. They just have, no, you guys are just have different skin tones. Yeah, yeah, yeah. She's just like a lighter version of me. Is the one that was here last time? Yeah. I don't think so. Yeah, some people say some people don't
Starting point is 00:57:38 Well, their sisters, they resemble each other to me Yeah, but Angie's beautiful and Julie's beautiful So in their own? Have you ever left them both in the room alone? Who? Stop. That's it, that's it, it's over. That's it, we're all mad, we're all mad, it's over.
Starting point is 00:57:52 Yeah. Ready? Ladder match? Yeah, your 17-year-old brother once he turns 18 he's going to hit on your 23-year-old ex all right? And get with her. That'd be crazy.
Starting point is 00:58:00 Your brother's waiting for Daniela to go over and cry on your shoulder. Don't even say, I'm just already mad. Thanks a bad. I will crash out right. What are you doing? I just met period. What? Monica, what?
Starting point is 00:58:13 What? What? What? Monica, Paniche. Oh, shut it. I will crash out right now. All right. I'm not scared you.
Starting point is 00:58:22 Hey, hey, you're listening right now. Think about your sibling and your best friend. And crash out. What's your person? Oh, that gets me so mad. Now we're all mad. Welcome. Welcome to round bad.
Starting point is 00:58:33 This is super little backpack, little me. but if corrupt goes on to the Super Bowl, I'd be so happy. Because Corrupt is like, like Kendrick really loves corrupt. And corrupt really has bars. Like when you think about the West Coast, this fool has bars. And yes, I know he's in Philadelphia and he reps Cali. He's Philophonia with it. Corrupt.
Starting point is 00:58:51 That's cool. Yeah, that's what you say. Yeah. And so when Kendrick came out with control and all of that, they interviewed Corrupt. And he was like, yeah, that's my little sleeper cell. He talks about Kendrick as being his little sleeper cell, which is like a, like, like, uh, I guess like a bomb that hasn't been detonated yet
Starting point is 00:59:07 or like some type of like thing but he's just saying like yeah I don't mess with him and it's like he was right and also I really love Carl Sparse We give Snoop Dogg a lot of credit for New York New York big city of dreams Which is a diss tract to New York Where he went in the music video
Starting point is 00:59:21 And knocked down the New York Towers But it's actually corrupt that has all the verses That like it's like just bars Okay you know I'm just gonna stop the step back camp I'm just a girl I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry And it makes sense because Philly I mean Corrupt being from Philly, there's always
Starting point is 00:59:37 been a natural rivalry between Philly and New York. So he came and brought it to the West Coast. And also because I always saw him at TGIF. TGIFRIS? The restaurant. Really? That's tight. Shout to corrupt.
Starting point is 00:59:48 Shout to Kurev. There's some birthdays today. First of all, shout out to that Tinashe. Yay. I've heard the Tanisha. What up, girl? I know. You need a chill laugh.
Starting point is 00:59:58 Been a while since I've seen you. Yeah, I put that on my resume and made Tanishay laugh really hard one time. Really, really? No, for real. What was the joke? I said if He's ever been for you with a ghost? Yeah, if having an experience with a ghost
Starting point is 01:00:12 counts as a body. And she thought it was like, I'm a nasty girl. Hey, Danashi. Greg took a photo with Tina. I'm just saying. She only smiled with me. Nobody else.
Starting point is 01:00:25 Everybody else, she was like just. It looked pretty AI to me. It was a lot. It was face-toed. He faced with her. Did you make your laugh or anything? Oh, my God. She just smiled what she told me.
Starting point is 01:00:37 That's it. Also, to my guy, I know this doesn't fit the weather outside, but every time I think of my guy, Bob, I think of this song. I know there's other songs, but this is just my jam. Hey, pass it. Yo, if you really think about it, bro. No, don't, because I don't do that.
Starting point is 01:01:05 I listen to Bob. I just listen to Bob when I need it. The sky is really not blue, man. Stop it. You better stop right now. So if I didn't shoot the shit, who did? Yo!
Starting point is 01:01:16 That is right. What was it? It's a bong. Yeah. Clear it. Clear it. There you go. When the boys are going through it,
Starting point is 01:01:32 I played it in this song. Everything's going to be all right, man. Everything will be alright. And then what he feels like, Mom, that's not going to take away my iPad that fell in the toilet. It's not going to fix that, mom. Go get some rice. I'm like, okay, every little thing is going to be all right. Some good birthdays, man.
Starting point is 01:01:52 Isn't this a pineapple express storm? That's what they're calling you? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Woo! Keep all the news. It's go talk. Ask what it means. What does he mean?
Starting point is 01:02:03 Pylobic, I don't know, it's like a strain or something. Well, it's like, remember that Afghan push I had, that Northern Light stuff? Yep. It's like, imagine they met, and they had. had kids and their babies you know? What? That's a scene of the movie.
Starting point is 01:02:15 Oh, yeah, yeah. I never seen pineapple. Same. Yeah. Shame. Shame, shame, shame. Okay, but shout out to the birthdays, man. Yes.
Starting point is 01:02:25 Also, I do want to let you guys know coming up at 840. Our guy DJ Eman, he's going to do a tribute mix to Irv God yesterday we saw and we found out that he passed away at the age of 54. So you. I've been battling diabetes for a long time. suffered a stroke, I believe about a year ago, made him change his diet, and then reports are that he suffered another stroke and he passed away from complications of that. And you know, it's a very serious disease diabetes. My grandfather passed away of diabetes, so it's really, really,
Starting point is 01:02:54 like something I'm always in mind when it comes to my parents and their sugar levels and all that, yeah. But I think some people think of diabetes because it's kind of people can live with it. Yes. And don't understand how, what a silent killer it does become. Before is a very young age, very young. And we were trying to figure out what's the best way that we contribute, Urgadi, because his music is legendary. And our guy, DJ Eman, had the pleasure of knowing him and mixing at that time. And I interviewed Urgadi, I want to say a few years back.
Starting point is 01:03:26 And it was a phone interview, and in the interview, he spoke so highly of Power 106. And the records he was dropping in, how on the West Coast Power was the one that played it. And no one caught on until Power was playing it. So, like, he showed that appreciation and that love. So we got to show that back coming up at 840, okay? All right, we're going to do that. All right now, though, don't you know I'm local? This is Be Real from Cyprus Hill.
Starting point is 01:03:49 Where are you from, Es? Don't you know I'm local? All right. Super Bowl is upon us. It's happening this weekend. Neither none of our L.A. teams or L.A. adjacent teams that we would be like, oh, this feels like L.A. Like, if the Raiders would have gone. Not the Packers.
Starting point is 01:04:06 If the Rayners were going up, we kind of were like, but we really don't have a team in the race. However, if you're looking for who should I bet on, right? I have the list of actual players in the Super Bowl that also happen to be former California high school football stars. And I know that we're all very like, if you hear your city, you might want to refer this team. Let's go to Kansas City Chiefs.
Starting point is 01:04:36 All right. The Kansas City Chiefs cornerback, Trent McDuffel, was actually... Oh, sorry. I thought I saw an L. It's my eyes. He was born and raised in Westminster. Oh, wow.
Starting point is 01:04:48 Angie, very there. Oh, there. So you may want to be rooting for him? I am. He went to Bosco. He went Bosco. What number is? In Bellflower.
Starting point is 01:04:58 Yeah. I don't know the number. Angie, that's asking me too much right now. He also won Super Bowls 57 and 58 with the Chiefs in 2020. 22 and 2223. Wow. Okay. Okay, Juju Smith Schuster.
Starting point is 01:05:11 I hope I'm saying that. He's a wide receiver. So it was a Bragg. He went to Long Beach Polly. Nice. He grew up in Long Beach. LBC. Come here.
Starting point is 01:05:19 He went to USC also. Yeah. Amazing. Okay. Yeah, he declared for the NFL after three seasons with the Trojan. So there's somebody right there. Matt Arrasia. He's a punter.
Starting point is 01:05:31 Ooh, I like punters because they come in when it's like, oh. They need to kick? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. He's from Sunny San Diego. Nice. He played college football in Sunny San Diego before entering the NFL.
Starting point is 01:05:42 And he was originally drafted by the bills, but then he got dropped by the team. Tagos. And then now he's with the Chiefs, okay? Xavier Worthy, another wide receiver. Fresno. That's fire. Fresno? Fresno.
Starting point is 01:05:59 Yeah? They do? They poor a lot of athletes. Fresno? Yeah. Oh. Okay. Nico Remigio, a wide receiver.
Starting point is 01:06:07 I guess there's a lot of wide receivers on a football team. Yeah. All right. I'm just sure. There's a lot of like six or seven. He spent his childhood in Orange. Wow. We're also playing in Fresno.
Starting point is 01:06:16 Angie, the chiefs guy, Lai Osie played. What was the name? Nico Remigio. Gotcha. Christian Roland Wallace, a cornerback. Palmdale. Palmdale. Palmdale.
Starting point is 01:06:28 Come back to me. I need you in my line. Is that a Napromed man song? Yes. I only know because I know. I never heard that something. I know after a meds from Palmele. He also played three years at the University of Arizona.
Starting point is 01:06:42 Okay. Before finishing his college career at USC. All right. Another quarterback on the chief, Orange County alumni. Wow, I think I'm going for the chiefs. Keith Taylor, he played at Servite. Servite. Why do you know that?
Starting point is 01:06:54 It's a good, it's a big. Servite High School, Angelica. Okay. All right. So those are the chiefs players that are from California. It's a lot of skill players. All right. receivers and corners.
Starting point is 01:07:04 Those are good players? Like the skill ones that are like the most athletic. Got it. All right. Let's go to the Philadelphia Eagles. Oh, Eagles. And their ties to California. Tanner McKee, the quarterback.
Starting point is 01:07:15 Second string? It's probably second string. Centennial. More right to bench. Went to Santenio? Yeah. He played high school football at Centennial before going north to Stanford University. That's right.
Starting point is 01:07:24 That's tight. That's tight. That's tight. Johnny Wilson, who's a wide receiver. He went to Calabasas High School. Wow. Wow. Okay.
Starting point is 01:07:32 And then the tight end. and Grant called Katara, Santa Margarita Catholic High School. I don't know where that's happening. Santa Margarita. That's like O.C. Yeah, it is. Sounds like a drink. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:07:43 Sounds like I want it. All right. It seems like there's a lot more chief players with California ties than Eagles players. Yeah. But there is a quarterback that has a Cali tie. And sometimes the quarterbacks become the stars of the whole little franchise. Yeah, but he's behind. Mahomes.
Starting point is 01:07:59 Hurts. Oh. Yeah. Why I think of Mojams? Yeah. Yeah. Oh, yeah. He's not
Starting point is 01:08:03 Ranchon. So it's judging by from where they're from alone. I mean, the chiefs have the most SoCal players. So you're going to go for the chiefs? No. What?
Starting point is 01:08:15 Why? I'm not going to go for the, like, you went from the commanders because of the Aifu. I know. I did want that story. Yeah. But no, honestly,
Starting point is 01:08:23 I'm just going for price picks. Okay. Maximo. I'm going for Kendrick Lamar's halftime show. There we go. Yeah. That's what we're doing.
Starting point is 01:08:32 But you're not going to choose Philly or... You have to choose team. Because you're going for Kendry because L.A. I get it. Yeah. But now you can go for L.A. based on these players. Both of these teams kind of annoy me.
Starting point is 01:08:42 Okay. Like the Philly fans? The Philly fans. It's because I didn't say anyone's from the Valley. It's because I didn't say anyone is from the Valley. If I did, that would have changed it for you. That would not. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:08:52 Yeah. So it's all from bad. That's what I said. Specific cities because unless it's your city, you don't care like an idea. And then the Chiefs, I'm just tired of their dynasty thing. All right. Because it's so great. What about you?
Starting point is 01:09:04 Cheaps, the Cheaps. Yeah, I had a lot of OCPools. Yeah. Once I saw the Westminster, I'm like, oh, yeah, me. Woo-hoo. Go Taylor. She learned a drive over there. Greg.
Starting point is 01:09:14 Taylor Swift. That's it. That's what I'm going for. Taylor Swift. All right. So the Chiefs. What about you, Lutte? I think I'm going to go for the Eagles.
Starting point is 01:09:23 Okay. What? And I think maybe what's his face is going for the Eagles, too. Kendrick. The fools from Centennial, the backup quarterback. Yeah. Compton. Bro.
Starting point is 01:09:32 And look how happy Inberto is. Hey, I've never seen so many eagles gear in my life. Yeah, he has a lot. Yeah. All of a sudden. Our Uber, our postmates
Starting point is 01:09:43 fool was wearing eagles. They, they cup thrusted each other. They did. Bad wagons. Oh, eagle. Oh, what is it? Go birds. What do you guys say?
Starting point is 01:09:53 Go birds. You guys make a bird. He doesn't even know the capital of Philadelphia. They tweet you. He doesn't. Did you just make an eagle noise? Make it louder? Make it louder?
Starting point is 01:10:01 A lot of us are waking up with the news, the very, very unfortunate news. And I think yesterday we had heard about Irv Gotti, legendary music exec, a producer of so many hit songs that we know and we love, especially from our time growing up. And like, oh, these were the gems, you know. We see him so much, I guess, intertwined when it comes to hip-hop history, you know, signing somebody like DMX at the time. where DMX was the guy, you know, being responsible for so many hits from Jaw Rule and Ashanti, you know, again, just that business acumen that he had. Being from New York also held in a lot of controversy, you know, him and 50 beefing, even to this day, 50 not letting it go. You know, all of that stuff happened. And that was our, that beef with like M and Jha and 50 in them.
Starting point is 01:10:56 That was the not the Kendrick and Drake of its time. Yeah. You know, everyone was invested. in that but nonetheless when it came to the man that is Irv Gotti he and what he did with rap and hip hop the mainstreamness about it, pulling
Starting point is 01:11:11 people together and making sure that records happen there's such a gift to that that gift cannot be trained it's in you and it was in Irvgadi you know we got the news a couple days ago that he might have suffered another stroke he had suffered one
Starting point is 01:11:27 previously last year when it came to his battle with diabetes he had openly spoke about how the diet part of the diabetes was really hard for him. But he had to change it after the stroke. And I think a lot of times people would say stop drinking milk or stop eating this. And then it's like, yeah, yeah. But then you feel like your body's good, right? Unfortunately, that wasn't the case with Irv Gotti.
Starting point is 01:11:49 It's reported that he suffered another stroke about a couple days ago. And it landed him in the hospital and he passed away due to complications from that stroke. Immediately when I heard the news Eman, thank you for. for being here and coming in extra early. I thought of you because, one, when I think of those records, I think of Power 106 playing them. And I think of you mixing them, Eman. You personally knew Irv Gadi.
Starting point is 01:12:12 And it had to be some news that you don't want to hear. Well, it was shocking. Of course, we heard the rumors and we saw it. We're like, no, this can't be. And then when it was confirmed, unfortunately, it really hurt because he's not just a super producer. He's a great friend and a genuinely great person. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:12:29 Like, I have so many stories and memories of Irv Gotti, but one of the memorable and best ones is every time he came up to Power 106, it wasn't just about music he wants to talk about. It was like, yo, let's hang out. So every time he would come up, he would just come up to play Uno. Just to play Uno. Wow. So we'll sit in our office and we'll just sit for hours and just playing Uno.
Starting point is 01:12:53 And his favorite line, every time I see him, the favorite line he always says is Uno, gentlemen. Because he would always win. He'd always win. Oh, he was that good. Dang, Eman. I got to beat you at Uno? Crazy.
Starting point is 01:13:06 Yes, he has. You didn't hit that draw four, bro? No, no, no. You didn't hit that wild card? Reverse. Reverse. Reverse. He does it with cards.
Starting point is 01:13:13 So, you know, he loved playing with cards. I don't know if he'll play poker as well. That makes me want to play Uno now. Yeah. And that makes me want to play you at Uno. Is he meant a pushover at Uno? Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:13:25 So it's so, it's such an honor for me to be able to tribute him this way, Eman. Absolutely. And you do what you do best, bro. And I know that this is special to you. This is special to me. And to Irv Gotti, man, rest in heaven. Yep.
Starting point is 01:13:39 Your music and what you had in the end, what you touch the industry with is going to live on forever. Yep. Of course, Murder Inc. Irv Gotti. He's touched, of course, Jarl, Ashanti. But a lot of people don't know that he also touched many hits. He did Jennifer Lopez.
Starting point is 01:13:54 You're going to hear some of this right now on the mix. Of course, some DMX, some Eve. And this one right here. Love this right here. He's not going to put us on. Yes, yeah. And, of course, this one right here. Let's go.
Starting point is 01:14:05 Let's go. He was instrumental in this one right here, y'all. Erf Gadi. So right now we're about to celebrate the life and the music and the production of Irv Gaudi. Let's go, y'all. 9-106. DJ G. All right, I do one more.
Starting point is 01:20:57 One more for Irf Gotti right here, y'all. Let's go. Let's go. None of those records would have happened without that man. Maxx. Wow, RIP, Irv Gotti, age of 54, we lost you, and we're never going to forget you. DJ Eman, I love you, bro. You are, every time you mix, I know we clown you in the hallways.
Starting point is 01:22:42 They're such a nice guy, but any time you mix, bro, I'm just reminding. He's the goat. You are the goat, bro. Thank you so much. Oh, my gosh. It's definitely an honor for you to even, I mean, just for you to call me and ask to do this for Irv and for L.A. and for power. Thank you. That's it.
Starting point is 01:22:58 legendary DJ E man. No one else can do it like us. No. Power 106. Keep it here. I'm sorry. I'm too turt up and I want to cry. Hey.
Starting point is 01:23:06 Ambrasala with Angie. That looks so beautiful today. Oh, thank you, Lettisia. I love your and I hate my hair right now because it's really poofy. It's not purported. It looks great. It looks like wavy. It looks like.
Starting point is 01:23:22 Oh, sorry, Greg. Excuse me? Nothing. Her hair is. Yeah. Her hair looks great. No Greg. It looks wavy.
Starting point is 01:23:31 No, Greg. That is Reagan. I'm sorry, bro. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I just didn't need it. I know that word on the show means something else. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:23:40 To you. It's curly. Yeah, it just looks nice. Angie, you look nice. Okay, thank you, thank you. But you know who's not doing very nice right now? Who? Travis Kells, because I'm pretty sure this fool, it's like in the doghouse right now, okay?
Starting point is 01:23:54 Especially after what he said. So if you guys don't know, like, it said that President Donald Trump, he's supposed to be at the Super Bowl, right? So I think it would be the first time a president. Yeah. So it's pretty, it's pretty a big deal, right? And so Travis Kells, he was asked, like, how do you feel that Trump is going to be there? And this was his answer. That's awesome.
Starting point is 01:24:14 It's a great honor. I think, you know, no matter who the president is, I know, I'm excited because it's the biggest game of my life, you know, and having the president there is the best country in the world. So this fool's saying it's an honor that Trump is going to be there no matter what president is. Right? Yeah. But if you guys don't know, like, Trump and Taylor Swift, they don't get along. They're like that. They have beef.
Starting point is 01:24:38 They're like beeping. Yeah. Like he's outwardly saying like, I hate her. He's really tweeted, I hate Taylor Swift. Wow. I'm not even kidding. Like, you really said that. Not only that, but actually like in a, in his apprentice book, he calls Taylor Swift unusually beautiful.
Starting point is 01:24:55 So imagine someone's talking smack. Someone's talking smack about your girl and you're over here saying. And like, hey, there's been things between him and Taylor. You know, a lot of, during the, I guess, during the presidential run, a lot of people are like, what is Taylor? Who is she going to back, right? People care about who the celebrity is back. One notable celebrity is Taylor. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:25:14 And I guess someone had said something about her being like a cat lady or something or she made mention of that first. Yeah. Yeah. Or like, because she has cats. I don't know. Yeah. She has cats. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:25:25 But I guess someone, I guess, on, like, probably in Republican Party, I don't want to misquote anybody, but said something along the lines of making fun of girls that are going to not ever get married and just like, boy go old with like, yeah. And then so she was like, like she felt the need to stand up for them. And I guess in her little, in one of her quote, she's like from a cat lady or something. That's why she took a picture with a cat. Yeah. But also then she, I guess she ends up endorsing Kamala Harris.
Starting point is 01:25:54 Yeah. For her reasons. And then Trump is like, I like Patrick Mahomes girl better anyway. He really went on Fox News and he was saying that. Listen. I was not a Taylor Swift fan. It was just a question of time. She's a very liberal person.
Starting point is 01:26:10 She seems to always endorse a Democrat. And she'll probably pay a price for it in the marketplace. But I like Brittany. I think Britney's great. That's the one I like much better than Taylor Swift. That's Mahomes. Or maybe Spirms. Or maybe Spirts.
Starting point is 01:26:26 I don't know. Honestly, I hate how funny. bro is. He is without trying. Like, uh, he's, he's that,
Starting point is 01:26:33 that entertainment of the school bully like, ah, your nose is fat. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:26:39 But he's in charge of running the country. I know. Which is the part. Yeah. It's just like, you know, that part.
Starting point is 01:26:44 However, that's her man and that's her man, man. Yeah, that's your, what do you say like, like, let's say there's a really cool bro,
Starting point is 01:26:52 right? But he beats with your girl or he said mean things about your girl in the past. Like, they had their ups. What do you ask,
Starting point is 01:26:58 when you're asked, hey, how do you feel about this guy? You're like, oh, it's an honor. I think you kind of got a... It's tricky. My girl will be like, oh, that's your friend? That's your friend? Yes, exactly. And I'll be like, well, I mean, I wouldn't say friend.
Starting point is 01:27:12 We're not that close. The president of like all of our things. This was your moment. This was your moment to stand up for me. Yeah. Yeah. I get it. And I think he's also trying to be PC and not trying to alienate.
Starting point is 01:27:23 For sure. Because everybody loves football. You know what I'm saying? It's like, that's the thing is like, I think he doesn't want to alienate the. fans that, you know, are hardcore Trump supporters and stuff like that. And which may also be Chiefs fans. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:27:34 Yeah. Missouri. Yeah. There has to be a lot of them. And so I think he's trying to be as politically correct. Yeah. With his answer, which he was. I'll give him credit for that.
Starting point is 01:27:43 He was more politically correct than Taylor correct, to be honest. Like, he definitely gave the politically correct answer. I would like it whoever the president is. I think what he could have maybe done is been like, you know what? I'm always going to have received. for the office that is the presidency, even if he and my girl don't get along, it's still an honor to have that person. Damn, that.
Starting point is 01:28:07 No. That's deep right there. That's going to be. You know what I'm saying? The fact that you're still saying it's an honor when my girl's beefing with you, it's like, uh-uh. No, but not him necessarily the title. But then maybe, here's what I'm thinking too. Here's what I'm thinking too.
Starting point is 01:28:20 Because when she endorsed Kamala, Travis didn't say anything. Right. What really is like pro Trump? And he might be for it. People in relationships can have different. Yeah, yeah, you're right. That must have been, that must be the thing they've argued a lot about. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:28:34 Oh, yeah. It's like you've won multiple Super Bowls. Why do you have to go again? Yeah, this isn't the game of your life. You've had so many. You've met him before. I'm the game of your life. You know, if Taylor wasn't in this doing, you know, popping up to the NFL all the time, this wouldn't be a question.
Starting point is 01:28:49 What? You know, like the whole Taylor promo all over the NFL. But it's not a question about Taylor. Yeah, it's not about Trump. Don't blame that. No, I'm just saying like, you know, it's like. Because it sucks that that's how like the sports questions, even this question. It's like how they have to worry about these type of questions nowadays.
Starting point is 01:29:07 Well, I think that's a relationship thing. Yeah. It also was kind of like a set up question. It was a set up. It was. You know? Like that's kind of like why you ask about, you know, you know that's controversial right now. Of course.
Starting point is 01:29:17 And forget it being controversial to the nation. It's controversial in my house. Exactly. That's my girls up. Yeah. He could have really like been like, you know what? I don't want to get into that. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:29:27 And then people are like, why don't you want to get into that or whatever? There's no right answer. There's no right answer. The right answer was what's going to be no response. That's it. But then, like, again, maybe he does like Trump, right? Yeah, but to him, he may be like, no, I'm doing my best to not be like raw, raw for him, but also like. But what do you like best?
Starting point is 01:29:46 Trump or your girl? I don't know. Some fools. Hey, ask some fools. They won't know the answer. I would think it's like, yeah. Maximo, Trump or your girl. Trump see, he don't know.
Starting point is 01:29:54 He don't know. I would think stand up for your girl. You know what he could have done? They're professionals. They deal with the social media stuff so much. So it's like this doesn't even like phase them. I don't think it really is that serious in their household. I think it's serious because I know Taylor Swift's music and it's serious.
Starting point is 01:30:12 There won't have been one right way to answer this. If he could have just been like heard the question. Like what do you think about having the president there? And he could have just been like, and now we got bad. Yeah, he could have made it funny. You know what I'm saying? And just kind of played it all. You need to be on Travis Kel's PR team.
Starting point is 01:30:27 I don't think he's creative like that. Well, that's why he needs big and his team. That could have worked. That's the only way he could have wiggled his way out of it. Everybody laughed and then they're not going to react. I'm saying right now, brother. I've listened to her catalog. She holds on to little details all the time.
Starting point is 01:30:40 She's sad. She's sadge. She's sadge serious. That's my sadged sister right there. Thinks deeply about all these things. If this guy, it's not necessarily that they disagreed on party, right? Right. Again, you may be dating someone or with someone that goes for the other side or whatever. but it's not just that.
Starting point is 01:30:58 It's just that the person from the other side literally has said mean things about me. Right. You know? It's not that I'm dating someone that's Republican and I'm Democrat or I'm dating someone that's Democrat and I'm Republican. It's that, hey, that person that I'm rooting for, diss to my partner.
Starting point is 01:31:11 Directly. Yeah. Oh, man, I already hear the breakup song coming. The breakup song's coming. No, you're right. I have to leave him and his red hat. Like, you know. It's going to be called a red hat.
Starting point is 01:31:22 Red hat. Yeah, I hear it. That sounds like you hit already. It does. It's going to be an anthem. It's a red hat. Any place for the chief? So he wears a red helmet?
Starting point is 01:31:32 When I saw that interview, I'm like, hey, Angie, I don't think they're together anymore. Because it's be crazy for him to answer like this, knowing the beef that Taylor and Trump have. Yeah. That yes, president, yes, pop star, yes, football star, all of that. You don't think they're together anymore? No, I just said that. I was telling me. I'm like, because that would be a crazy way to answer.
Starting point is 01:31:49 Yeah. Or if they are together, that's a fight. Oh, yeah. It definitely became an argument. What do you want me to do, babe? I was at work. Yeah. I didn't want to say.
Starting point is 01:31:57 Whoever your op is. Like, think of your op that's actually said something about you guys. Everybody in the room. Think of your app, right? Your partner ends up doing like a, like, they hired your partner to be a client or something or something happened. Oh, my God, I'm mad. So what was it like working with so and so? Oh, you know, whoever it was, I would be glad working with them.
Starting point is 01:32:15 It was an honor? You knowing that's your off? You'd be like, what? I'm mad already. I don't even, I'm not even thinking of a person, but I'd be mad. The fact that you put honor. Honor, what? It's the harder like you're with me.
Starting point is 01:32:27 I'm mad. I don't know. I'm way too like. Mycim's different. I don't care about none of that. Like all that is like Jimry's average. Yeah, because Maximil's perfect. Maximus girl never gets mad at him.
Starting point is 01:32:37 Yeah. Actually, she does. Why she ain't matter you? She got mad at me in Vegas because I fell asleep the whole day. Oh. But you're fine, right? You don't care? No, I didn't care.
Starting point is 01:32:47 She got over. She's going to be mad again. She got over it. Time will get over it. Taylor will get over it. Yeah, that'll get over it. Yeah. Damn, so you think that maybe...
Starting point is 01:32:56 It's all the Swifty's trying to throw... It's relationship. It's just like how Lettie just put it right now with an example. He's not a Swifty. He understands. Yeah, they just... He's an emotional fellow. Victor's not a Swifty.
Starting point is 01:33:07 He understands. Yeah. He's the first one that was like, his girl would be like, oh, that's your friend? He's, yeah. He don't believe him. What? No, he's really thinking it right now. No, yeah, no, because I'm thinking if, like, my girl were to, like, hang out with,
Starting point is 01:33:20 or not even hang out, but just, like, have some sort of respect for my up. Nah. Yeah. That's your friend? Nah. Respect. Respect. Stand up for me.
Starting point is 01:33:30 But see, that's what I'm saying. Travis, he's in the dog hounds right now. Who are they going to patent to more Trump or Taylor during this? I know. That's the real president. That should be a good prophet right there. That should be. Taylor.
Starting point is 01:33:42 Take a shot every time. Yeah. Are they going to be in the same suite? I hope not. Imagine. They take a photo? No, that won't happen. What's that?
Starting point is 01:33:50 What is that? What is that? What is that? What's that? I don't know. All right, that's it for Soprasnara. Brat to you by your local Southern California, Toyota dealers. I'm Angie from Brownback Mornings.
Starting point is 01:34:00 I'm Power 106. What's the right? Connected like I'm rosecrans. Word on roast cranks. The word is. What's the word? The NBA trade deadline is happening right now. Yes, it is.
Starting point is 01:34:14 And I'm going to update you on the most recent trades in the NBA. All right. So first off, Jimmy Butler, formerly now of the Miami Heat, has finally been traded. To where? There's been a dramatic novella going on with Jimmy And for the past two months now He's been suspended Miss Team Plains
Starting point is 01:34:31 Kicked out of practice And ask for a trade official He's reckless I never knew how suspenseful The trade deadline is in the NBA But I know like it has you guys Like on the edge of your seat Literally our novella
Starting point is 01:34:43 And I like it For those that may not know him so much He's the full that dressed like an emo The emo Yeah Oh okay okay And I know Jorge told me that he would make coffee
Starting point is 01:34:52 for everybody in the bubble when they were in 2020. He would sell it. He would hustle your way. But he's like a coffee aficionado. Oh, I like him already. He has a lot of good personality. And he's a baller. Like, he really can play.
Starting point is 01:35:06 So then what's the issue? He leaves it all out on the court, like everything he has. That's good. There's a famous photo of him after, I think it's the 2020 finals with the Lakers where it was basically the Lakers against just him. You know what I'm saying? He was the best player on his team by far. And he was giving it as a lot of.
Starting point is 01:35:22 all and we took him to six games you know he like he fought and you know they won some games and he was exhausted he's bent over you know exhausted and that's that kind of a famous photo of like you when you gave it all yeah when you gave it your all right so when everybody else on the team doesn't give that level of effort which is gets frustrating i know almost nobody can you know what i'm saying he gets really he gets really frustrated and he turns on the team and then he says it's not my job right yeah something I didn't like that. Yeah, to that effect. I remember saying that.
Starting point is 01:35:53 Jose, didn't I say that? Yeah. Who wrote it down? Did he say stuff like that? Probably, huh? Yeah. I don't know. I'm just the shooting guard.
Starting point is 01:36:02 So, okay. Why don't I just leave so you guys just do it yourselves and see how much happier you'll be. Did he say that? Well, that's, but he probably said that in his. I'm just saying I understand. You need the emo hair now. So he finally got what he wished for and he's been traded to the Golden State Warriors to play with Steph Curry and Drey Mongreen.
Starting point is 01:36:20 Wow. Which actually was a difficult trade because it kept getting denied because he wouldn't sign an extension. So what happens is when you get traded, like you can sign to stay for a few more years. To your own team. To the new team to get traded. And he was saying no to everybody. Yeah. And so it was like a whole back and forth for two months.
Starting point is 01:36:39 You know, people were like, dude, he's not going to get traded, all this stuff. Finally, he did get traded and he signed an extension. So essentially he got a raise. Yeah. That's cool. Two years, $120 million. And he's going to play with Curry? who also works hard?
Starting point is 01:36:51 Yeah. Wow, he'll finally be able to breathe. Yeah. For two years. For two years. And then he's going to hate the team. Oh, God. He has an expiration date.
Starting point is 01:37:00 Oh, he does. He does this to every team he goes to. Yeah. Well, he gives it his all, but then there's just like a ugly exit. Oh. We've been together for way longer than two years, so it's not happening this time. True. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:37:12 What? This time move? Where? What? Yes. But moving on, the Lakers are also not done making moves. As we know, they added Luca Donnell. This novella is crazy Lakers.
Starting point is 01:37:22 We're a little bit messed up for this. No, it is because they finally got the center that AD, Anthony Davis was asking for, but sadly he's not here to see it. That's really sucky. That's messed up. That's really sucky. AD was like, hey, I just need a center so that I could play my true position. Right now they have me a center, but they need a big guy.
Starting point is 01:37:41 He's like, I need someone bigger than me so I could be playing my role. That's why he's not working on this team. And they said, ha, go away. And then they got the center that he always asked. That's like a seven foot tall fool, right? Yeah, Mark Williams. Wow. That would be what hurts me more if I'm A-D than anything.
Starting point is 01:37:58 I was like, the thing I asked you for, you gave it to the other girl? Yeah. You know what I'm saying? That's pretty much it. Pretty much what happened. So the Lakers acquired Center, Mark Williams from the Charlotte Horn is for rookie Dalton Connect, who we just signed this year. He was a first round pick. That's a sandwich.
Starting point is 01:38:16 Really good. They also traded away Cam Reddish and an unprotected first round. draft pick. And so a lot of people are like, dude, who the hell is Mark Williams? Why did we, you know, pay such a steep price for him, essentially? But he fits the type of player that they really need and what Luca wanted exactly. Oh, Luca wanted it. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:38:31 So you gave him to Luca, but not to AD. All that hurts my heart for AD. And a lot of people are, they have their sentiments about AD too. I guess just the way it went about. And I'm seeing him liking picture. Like someone said, you didn't deserve this bro. They did you dirty and liked it. A lot of people are giving like tributes and commenting like,
Starting point is 01:38:49 hey, like we'll always love you. We just probably just created a villain, by the way. We gave him a reason to, like, motivate against us the whole time. And I think this trade deadline is going to change, like, the trading system, like, for the best, forever. Because. Who did the Clippers get? Because the Clippers got nobody? No, no, no, because of the Clippers.
Starting point is 01:39:09 Oh, but who did the Clippers? Nobody. You didn't get anyone? You guys didn't. I mean, we've traded a few people, but nobody, like, very important. Oh. They're, like, great. Patty Mills.
Starting point is 01:39:18 Yeah. Oh, that's what you got? Yeah. I'm excited to be a Laker fan. We should have got him five years ago. Yeah, I was young. Yeah, exactly. You're excited?
Starting point is 01:39:27 To be a Laker fan now? Let's do it. Let's call. Speaking of Lakers, there's another former Laker got traded. Brandon Ingram, who used to play for the Lakers and actually got traded for A.D. back in the day to the Pelicans, he's actually now on the Raptors. So it's just a lot of movement in the NBA.
Starting point is 01:39:40 Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. All right. That's a lot of trade. And I guess a novella is all right, because the deadline was yesterday? No, today in a couple hours. Oh, there's still.
Starting point is 01:39:49 There's still some time. Wow. For things happen. PJ Tucker, who used to be on the Clippers earlier this season, got traded again for the third time. How do you guys find out who gets traded? Shams. Shams Sharania. So why does this person get to know all the inside?
Starting point is 01:40:02 Why is it from over? That's like his job. Oh, it's his job. That's his job to be an insider. Shams. Spell it? S-H-A-M-S. That's not his Twitter.
Starting point is 01:40:11 He's Shams Sharania. Oh, yeah. So how's Brony doing, though? Brani is doing his thing. Let's do a highlight video. He is. He scored a three-pointer the other day And it was national news
Starting point is 01:40:22 Oh, really? He put his jersey on We should do a highlight on this too It's crazy All right So if you guys talk to a lot of smack About this fool Why do we have them?
Starting point is 01:40:32 About who? Ronnie I'm not talking smack I just think that So why do we have them And how much is it getting paid? Tell them, man You do
Starting point is 01:40:42 No, I just And how much is it getting paid Is not a fake account? No, no, it's real Yeah My truth thought, Tom. Kauai Leonard is being traded to the Milwaukee Bucks as part of Clippers, Wizards, Kyle Kuzma, Chris Middleton, Gila.
Starting point is 01:40:58 No, Kuzma, Kuzma already got traded. Yeah, but that's right here. Hold on. Bro, you don't even have Kauai anymore? That's a lie. That's not a lot. He got scared. He got scared.
Starting point is 01:41:09 He got some scared. He got some scared. Ah! I'm okay. What are you guys on? What are you guys have? They have James Hardin. Oh, James Hardin.
Starting point is 01:41:18 Dan, James Harden is probably like Norman Powell. Get me out here, man. I'm scared. So the Lakers are stacked then this year then. Oh, for sure. Yeah. No?
Starting point is 01:41:26 Yes, really, bro. What do you mean? Stacked? You got three players. Big guys. We have a good squad. We have a very good squad. Oh, yeah, they got Bronny.
Starting point is 01:41:34 We got Bronny. And like I said, my true thoughts on Brani are. And that was where I'm Rosecrans. Brought to buy my local Southern California Toyota dealers on Rosecrans vick for Brownback Mornings. I'm Power 1.
