Starting point is 00:00:00 Before the podcast starts, make sure you like, subscribe to the channel, leave a review, and send the link to a friend while you're at it. The more brown back, the better. Come on. Kelly's number one for hip hop. Good morning. Good morning. One of the yes to you and you and you.
Starting point is 00:00:13 And you too, too, too. I guess this, what I have, the story that I have isn't, don't you know, I'm local? It's kind of like, don't you know I'm national? That's right. But I have a question. What's something like, okay, it's the call every mom gets. Her kid cannot find what? As an adult.
Starting point is 00:00:29 Mom, I can't. Hi. Remote control for the TV. You call your mom if you can't find your remote control? I call my girl's mom. Where'd you put the control? She's in Chile now. Well, before.
Starting point is 00:00:39 Trauma. Oh, the savings account that she always said she had that she was putting the child support in that I never saw. Jesus. Your mom? Yeah. Wow. Oh, because they divorced.
Starting point is 00:00:51 Yeah, what about you? That's great. I never got that. That's trauma. No, but I get it. That's amazing. Mine is a passport. Or no.
Starting point is 00:01:00 My birth certificate. I can't find my birth certificate. All those legal paperwork. Don't ask me. I have to ask my mom. Speaking of legal paperwork, do all of you know where your social security card is right now? My dad does. See?
Starting point is 00:01:12 No. That's your dad. That's your dad. No. No one has hit up their parent. Like, hey, I can't find my social. It's in the drawer somewhere. It's in my brain.
Starting point is 00:01:19 Yeah. I know the number, but I don't know where the physical card is at. No. Don't say it out of that. No. No. Well, I guess the government. has taken notice that we lose this a lot,
Starting point is 00:01:32 even though we have a stored in our cute little brains. They are going to start making social security cards digitally accessible to you on your phone. I know some places do that with the ID already, where you can have it digitally, and now you can also have your social security card itself. It's different than knowing it. You know, because sometimes they need to see it. I think to get a passport, you would have to show not just know the number, you know?
Starting point is 00:01:57 So this is cool. That's cool. It's something to have on your website. Yeah. Okay. I always forget, like, the one number part of it, so I'm always getting confused of which one it is. Which number? The last number.
Starting point is 00:02:05 The last number of my social. What is it? I always get it confused. Okay, so you think it's blah, blah, blah, what? What do you think it is? I'll say it. I'll put, like, one instead of two. And I'm like, I think it's two.
Starting point is 00:02:17 And what are the first? The last one there? No, I'm not telling you. And we got one number. That's good. You know there's two in the middle? Two numbers in the middle? Oh, the two ones.
Starting point is 00:02:26 Yeah, I know that. You're soaked up. What are those two? That's because I'll sign that. I was signing up for the military at one point and I had to remember it. Oh, really? And I had to remember it. But then I was like, am I remembering the wrong number this whole time?
Starting point is 00:02:36 So now I don't have to worry about that. Wait, so what are the first three? No, I'm not going to tell you any numbers. Oh, okay. I don't get anything out of it, first of all. Everything is my mom's fine. I know. You need her social.
Starting point is 00:02:46 Not mine. Yeah. All right. So that's news for everybody. I think it's pretty cool. I never had the ID itself on my, on my phone. So I'm wondering how that might go. Isn't that kind of dangerous?
Starting point is 00:02:55 Yeah. Yeah. I'm thinking also like, like, what if we get hacked? I don't think so. I feel like that stuff is like super encrypted and like it's taken care of. I hope. But I mean, I'm waiting until we get to that all digital space source. Like you just have to carry your phone like beep.
Starting point is 00:03:09 But when's the last time you actually needed your physical social security card? You might need it for some things. Yeah. I'm seeking for that real ID that deadline is tomorrow. Oh, I saw. Oh, yeah. You need that for your passport, especially if you lose it. You want to get like an expedited passport.
Starting point is 00:03:25 You need the social. That's true. I did do that. And Angie, I know you mentioned about, like, people may be possibly stealing and all of that. People could steal your wallet and steal it, too. You know? And then if I steal your wallet, there's no face recognition on that. I could just steal it and have it.
Starting point is 00:03:39 On your phone, please have a password, first of all, Angelica. I do. But the problem is that everyone knows my password. What is it? Everyone knows your password? Yeah. Well, just share it. Yeah, it's a 5, 789.
Starting point is 00:03:52 All right. You're changing it right now, Angie. Yeah, everybody knows it. We also know that's the last four of her. No, it's not. It has nothing to do. It's just easy on the finger. And what in the middle, too.
Starting point is 00:04:04 Well, that's good news. That's your news. We have scrolling on the way. Yes. And if you haven't seen sinners yet, don't even think about asking your homies because you will get roasted by them, my boy. Find out why next.
Starting point is 00:04:14 It's a great movie. Scrolling with the homies. Grogio. Gregory. I got a question for the room. Who in here has seen the movie sinners? Me. Who did you go see it with?
Starting point is 00:04:26 My girl. Okay, that's pretty normal. Anybody else seen it? I saw sinners. You saw sinners? Is it good? It's amazing. It's really good.
Starting point is 00:04:33 What's so good about it? Everybody's talking about this new movie. It's the movie that's out. I feel like I did a whole cool little recap about it. First of all, it's a vampire movie. I love vampire movies. Super cool. So it's a vampire movie like Twilight.
Starting point is 00:04:44 Yeah. No. No, no, no, no. Because that was a love vampire movie. There is definitely no love the vampires. Nobody loves a vampire. No loving vampires. There is some activity with vampires, though.
Starting point is 00:04:54 Like some... What the thing you do? No, that does happen Oh, okay See, now you want to watch it No, I don't want to watch it Well, I want to watch it But I don't want to watch it
Starting point is 00:05:05 And the dancing is really cool I told you guys about the music scene There's like a scene in the middle And it's super tight Let's go watch it, Greg Pause Why? I don't know why
Starting point is 00:05:15 I don't know if I want to see this Yeah, I don't know if I want to see this with you It's literally a movie about brotherhood It's not what my brotherhood It's not what my brotherhood It's twin brothers Yeah. Oh, that's so weird.
Starting point is 00:05:28 Because my brother asked me to watch the go, he's like, you want to go see sinners? And I felt like it was the weirdest thing ever, because everybody talks about Michael B. Jordan in that movie. Yeah, he's definitely in that movie. Twice. He's going to, yeah. He's the main actor in the movie.
Starting point is 00:05:40 That's what everybody keeps talking about. And everybody's on. What's so wrong with Michael B. Jordan is starting in a movie? I think it's just what he was doing in the movie. What was he doing? Acting? No, everybody talks about that one scene. What scene?
Starting point is 00:05:52 Oh, I don't. I haven't heard. I saw that scene. It wasn't that crazy. That's not that bad. No. That scene is not bad as his other scene with another lovely lady. Oh, I haven't seen the movie, so I wouldn't know.
Starting point is 00:06:02 But people are going viral because their homies are asking them to go watch sinners with them at the movie theater, and they're just getting roasted in the group chat. It's sounding like this right now. Talking about some, let's go to the movie. Ain't no, ain't no trying to go to the movies with a bunch of shit that got the same shit as you. What are going on, bro? Where you're your butt at, bro? Maybe if you get rid of that ye-he-he-e-de-air, tear.
Starting point is 00:06:28 good ass and tighten up for real, man. We're getting like that. I'm not understanding. I don't get it. The wrong idea. Basically, like, his homie was like, hey, let's go watch sinners. They're like, what you're trying to watch sinners for? What's wrong with you, right?
Starting point is 00:06:42 Yeah, that's, that's even normal. I feel like people have the wrong perception about the movie. Like, it's not like, it's not like sex-field. Some vampire movie, you guys. It's a vampire movie. You're going to go watch a vampire movie with the boys. The thing is that in the group chat, you get roasted for anything. Like, it doesn't even matter what you want
Starting point is 00:06:59 Hey, you want to get some food I won't get food with you. I feel like if Jose were to be like, let's go watch sinners Everybody would roast it. No! And you all wear hoochie daddy shorts. What's wrong with that? You can definitely go watch sinners.
Starting point is 00:07:11 That's comfortability right there, all right? We're matching and all. I've never asked my homie, hey, let's go to the theme park together and hang out. And you know what? Should we get matching shirts? No, sinners is like a classic film
Starting point is 00:07:25 that like people are going to have to like Like, it's going to be like pop culture references in it for like years to come. You got to watch it. It's a vampire movie, Vic. No, but it's not like a romantic movie. Like, Letty just said it. Like, I'm reading what it's about and it's a vampire trailer, right? Yeah, it's also like a period piece where you like find out more about like that time in, in this country.
Starting point is 00:07:46 What is this guy? I'm not really into the movie. It's a period piece. It is. Yeah, and I'm on my period. Yeah, Greg, you should watch it. Watch you with your brother. No, I feel like it's weird.
Starting point is 00:08:06 No, it's not. It's only weird if you're, if you're, like, insecure about how hot Michael B. Jordan is. I thought it was like a chick flick. It's not. Not at all. Not at all. So you're telling me, you guys are not watching it because of a, because of Michael B. Jordan. Yeah, I'm not watching.
Starting point is 00:08:22 But then you're not watching Waconda. You're not watching Cree. not watching Fantastic for anything with Michael P. Jordan. Yeah, I didn't like him on Alcanda. It's not called Black Panther. Yeah, Black Panther. Oh, sorry. Black Panther.
Starting point is 00:08:31 I don't know. When with this? Crazy. Just got, yeah. What I was talking about? No, you didn't watch it. Black Panther. Who's going to say it?
Starting point is 00:08:38 All right. No, I'm not going to watch it. All right, then don't watch it. No. Congratulations. You just played yourself out of a great movie. I want to watch it. It's incredible.
Starting point is 00:08:46 It's incredible. Anyone my homie do. Go with Jose. Hey, drive slow, homie. It's a little bit rainy outside. Depending on where you're at. There was a little bit of sprinkling, sprinkling. There's a lot of weird drivers this morning.
Starting point is 00:08:56 Weird? Yeah, you were on the road. No. I had like a weird feeling in my stomach. There was a cop like cutting up in traffic, like weird. What do you mean cutting? Like that. That means like you're like switching lanes all fast, but he wasn't chasing anybody or doing anything.
Starting point is 00:09:10 You don't know that. Maybe he was. No, it was. I heard that I read a thing that it's like, I guess California cops are like, it's like the best thing to be like a cop. I saw that study here. You're right. And I saw it. It was awkward.
Starting point is 00:09:22 Why is that? I don't know. Because they can't arrest you? Huh? Because they can't arrest you? Oh, like the blue wall? He was like tailing me at one point and then tailed the person next to me and they He's just trying to see who to get.
Starting point is 00:09:37 He's trying to pick his action. It felt like a setup. It's not a setup. That's their job. Your job is to make sure people are doing around the road. They're like, all right, does this fool have something? No. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:46 They literally do that to see how you react. If you act nervous, then they feel you have something. It was weird. That's why you never act. slap on their brakes almost caused an accident. I don't know. I'd like it.
Starting point is 00:09:55 Well, then maybe you guys shouldn't be driving that fast. No, maybe the cops should obey the law. He was. And drive like a normal citizen. They have some privileges, by the way.
Starting point is 00:10:02 Unfortunately. They can do stuff we have. I've always wanted to sit as an officer. Good luck. Try it. I thought you what happened. The one time I tried to run up on an officer, right? He almost.
Starting point is 00:10:12 Oh, yeah, you did see that. I was trying to report a car crash that I just saw. But the officer, so I saw a car crash on the freeway, and then the officer later on I was like oh what do I do should I call the cops what should I do right
Starting point is 00:10:25 and this was before like you could call on Bluetooth over your phone like all of that in your car so then I'm driving a little bit and then I see the car officer that's outside kind of just with the meter gun that's testing to see how far you're going but he's standing outside yeah how fast you're going so I kind of I saw him I pass him I park on the side
Starting point is 00:10:44 next to his car and I run up to him he's not facing me he's facing oncoming traffic to check their speed and I just tap him like hey officer It tapped him? What else was I supposed to do? You walk up to him, hey, officer. Well, it shook him, clearly. And then he put his hand on his gun.
Starting point is 00:10:59 He's like, don't do that. I was going to shoot you right now. And I was like, well, first of all, that's weird. He should shake your surroundings. Yeah. Yeah. Second, I'm 411, bro. Not a threat.
Starting point is 00:11:10 It's weird. But, yeah. Go back to your meter, sir. Yeah, go back to your meter. But no, I told him about the accident. And he's like, oh, you have to call it in. I guess because he's stationed to do that. I'm like, bro, you can't just go over there?
Starting point is 00:11:20 You're literally be the first responder. That is true. See? Rules. It's weird. But yeah, we're driving. Be careful out there. There's cops cutting up on the freeway, according to Greg.
Starting point is 00:11:31 It's weird. I've never seen that before. By the way, it's not cops as sheriffs. On the freeway. Yeah, the freeway sheriff. It's just how do you go? Their jurisdiction is the freeway. CHP officers, California Highway Patrol.
Starting point is 00:11:45 Are you in on this? No. No. How did you know that? How'd you know that? How did you know is the sheriff in a big suburb? Because the police officers are in the city. However, there are some streets that are covered by CHP.
Starting point is 00:11:57 Wow. Like Topanga Canyon. Yeah. Tapania Canyon is covered by CHP. I guess it just depends. How do you know? All right, we have shout-outs, bro. Yes, we do have shout-outs.
Starting point is 00:12:05 Hi-beam. Hi. Hi-beast Mike wants to shout-out his chef for promoting him to head chef at his new location. Hey, let's go. Nice. Congrats. Richard wants to shout out his sister from another Mr. Vanessa Uribe. He says he wants to wish her a happy nurses week holding it down at Whittier College
Starting point is 00:12:24 keeping all those college students clean. That's cool. Thank you to all the nurses out there for what you do. That's true. That's true. All the beautiful nurses out there in the scrubs. I think it's student nurse day, right? Right, Mona?
Starting point is 00:12:35 It was actually National Nurses Day today. Nice. A few months ago when we did it, it was nurse assistant. Shout out the nurses. Yeah, your scrubs are all clouds on. And what? The enclose. The enclos.
Starting point is 00:12:52 I would have been a hoka girl myself. The hocus, too. Oh, yeah. Nurses love hocus. And the cracks. The hoka poca. Any more shout-outs, brother? Yes, we do.
Starting point is 00:13:00 Shout out to Romero, the realtor, as he says, and all his real estate baddies. I remember him. Yeah. R-A-Bs. He sent me a picture of, like, one, and he said, should I post this on my page? My girl might get mad, but it's good marketing. Post it. Post it.
Starting point is 00:13:16 Post it. Do it. Stay baddie. Yeah, get in trouble. Okay, I have a shout out to Big Up to Yaseña. She hit us up and she said that her son and her and her son Nate were listening yesterday during the homie help line. Remember when Maria was online? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:30 And then when we all started yelling at Maria for just being Maria. She was like, my son said you guys jumped her. It's like, awesome. Jesus. Yeah, but Big Up Nate and his pivot team for winning this weekend's basketball tournament championship. Have a great day, guys. And thank you so much for listening. That's cool.
Starting point is 00:13:48 I'm not too sure what that means, but maybe that's the name of the game. team. I know a lot of tournaments were happening this past weekend. I want to stand love to my baby girl Brooklyn. She did not pass the first round, but she did her best. And she's on an all-star team and she's a catcher. She loves who she does. Really excited about her. Also big up to my baby girl Olivia, her little sister, that also is doing her thing within, is it Sybil? I think it might be Sybil. And so more. No, it's not. Yeah, I think it is civil. Yeah. Did you tell them if you're, if you're in first or last? No, it didn't tell them. Ricky Bobby? No. They did their best. They did their and there's always next year. Yeah and they're part of
Starting point is 00:14:22 our All-Star team. She's killing it. My baby girl is killing. I'm very proud of her. Umberto you have a shout-out bro. You put it in the chat. Ooh. Ooh. He's been talking over here. Oh, he's getting red already. He's sweating already. I met him at the Marathon Run Club. Who? My husband.
Starting point is 00:14:42 I want to shout out. Horton fell in love at the Marathon Run Club. I love when you use your microphone? Every Saturday. Every Saturday there's a marathon run club. And then they go at Elysian Park? Yep. Yeah, Elijah Park.
Starting point is 00:14:55 Elijah? Elijah's park. And so every time I ask like, hey, have you seen Umberto? Because he says he goes. And he's like, no. So the other time, he's like, oh, yeah, I did see Umberto. He's wearing a big old power 106 shirt. It's going to go, umberto.
Starting point is 00:15:10 Yeah. It's a promo. I hope nobody notices me. All right, but you met someone there. Shout out to the homie that Umberto met at the marathon run. Yeah. Yes. I cannot find his name.
Starting point is 00:15:22 Okay. It's a, it's a... I got birthday shout-out. Jim Campos wants to give a birthday shout-out. Or get a birthday shout-out. It's her birthday today. Jay. Happy birthday to Jen.
Starting point is 00:15:32 Hey, dear. And Wardle's son of all was a birthday shout-out. It was his birthday yesterday. Let's go to Lord. Chris wants a birthday shout-out. He wants the best birthday wishes. Chris! Best birthday wishes to you, brothers.
Starting point is 00:15:44 Best birthday wishes. And Vianni wants to give her son, Cam, a birthday shout-out. It was his 11th birthday also. Come on. Come on. Hi, Ken. Enjoy that.
Starting point is 00:15:52 Kill a Ken. Happy birthday to you all. Feliz Cumplaños. A TIE. Simp. Or Pimp. B I am. Sip.
Starting point is 00:16:01 Sip, Sip, Sip, Sip, Sip, Sip, Sip, Sip. Gio Bol and Maximo. Brittany Rennar, who is an influencer media personality, has recently been in headlines because she got into a recent relationship with rapper Kevin Gates. Oh, yeah. So it's been a... a lot of drama between them. However, recently, Brittany Renner was interviewed and asked about her love life and how it's going with Kevin. And this is the first line she said.
Starting point is 00:16:32 His name echoes in every chamber of my heart. And it's hard to describe a love like that. All I can say is that I'm with a person that I quite literally dreamed of. His name echoes in every chamber of my heart. I think it's cool. Can someone talk about like that? Romantic. She's with the man that she dreamed of and she doesn't mind sharing them a little bit. Yeah, that's the tricky part.
Starting point is 00:17:04 I mean, Kevin Gates is technically still married. Yeah. Dr. Gates. Yes. And they recently, I don't know if it's an official split or really what is going on. I don't think they broke up. I think it's just an addition to.
Starting point is 00:17:16 Right. And I told you we're seeing more and more of that happen. You know, we had like the neo situation and kind of just more men being open about that being their lifestyle. And maybe not that it's like new that it's happening. It's probably just now open that it's happening. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:17:31 There's been rumors of certain celebrity couples that may have been open or may, you know what I'm saying? And people are saying it's like an out there thing. It's working to their specific lifestyle. Right. Like so if it's working. I don't know. The homie too is it.
Starting point is 00:17:43 The homie in Long Beach also has like two. True. A wife and a girlfriend. However. Whatever. That one liner. Yes. Is, I wish someone would say that about me. Really?
Starting point is 00:17:55 Oh, did he? Does he say that to you? His name echoes in every chamber of my heart. Wow. Bro, that's a bar. Are you hoping that one person says that or two people say that? So I can echo? What did you say, Greg?
Starting point is 00:18:09 She, like, manifested this because a long time ago, she interviewed Kevin Gates. Rolling loud, right? Rolling loud, yeah. And she was always, like, like, fan-girled about him and been all obsessing. with them so now they're together and it's true because she continued talking about him and to be able to just wake up next to him and spend time with him even to have him here behind me it's like so surreal i'm like i god i love him um so yeah he's just the most beautiful person inside now that i've ever met that's just annoying now why she'll he's there in the face too the honeymoon
Starting point is 00:18:41 stage they're in the honeymoon phase they really are everything it's disgusting how many chambers of their heart are there i only have one chamber no you don't know you don't lose right now. Nobody's getting to this chamber. His chamber is a little clock. His heartbroken. And that,
Starting point is 00:18:54 and, an anatomically? Anatomically. Anatomically. There we go. You do not have one chamber. How many chambers are in the heart? Well, they're all closed.
Starting point is 00:19:03 Four is it. It's four. It's four. Oh, there's four chambers in there? Yeah. Here's my name. A little clog. A little clock.
Starting point is 00:19:11 One chamber of secrets. That's like it. It's like a heartburn a lot. Oh. Oh, I got a heartburn where my chambers used to be. All right. I interviewed Kevin Gates here at Pan 106 years ago, years ago. And he's a very great conversation.
Starting point is 00:19:32 And at that interview, you know, we were talking about books, and then he got into relationships somehow. And the way that he spoke about Drika, it's like, regardless of how he's going to, like, I wish so much for him in British. if they're happy. Right. But the way that he talks about, Drika, this is his right or die.
Starting point is 00:19:50 This is his before anyone knew who he was. He was locked up at a time and she was there for him. And so, like, he even knew, like, even at that time, I think he had been unfaithful. So he was talking about how she had left him, but he's like, no matter what, that's my heart. Like, that's why I go to. And clearly things changed because that was probably like a decade ago. Yeah. But having heard the way that he spoke so highly of his current wife, Dr.
Starting point is 00:20:12 And how she's talking about him in interview saying, that's my. best friend. It seems to just go in line with their bond is forever. Yeah. Their bond is forever. And Britney Renner may be a new piece to the puzzle, and it doesn't matter what time you kind of get in someone's life. However, I don't think that even that could shake what him and Drika Gates have.
Starting point is 00:20:34 Yeah, he always speaks very, like when he talks about love and relationships, it's almost like very spiritual to him, like the connection. And he also says some wild things. He for sure says some wild things. Yeah, he does. And, you know, that might work. work too? Yeah, that definitely works. And Britney Renner is a big fan of that. There was one thing when he's talking about Rihanna. This is the one that I think and he's like, I just want to kiss her forehead.
Starting point is 00:20:58 He did say that. But like he just, it's just the way that he, I guess he just loves strong. Yeah. And that type of passionate love, you could tell when she's responding of I love, whatever your name echoes with four chambers of my heart. It seems like that's how they talk to each other. And maybe Kevin is probably maybe one of the first people to really give her like so much real love that like she hasn't felt that she's just like whatever like grown man love. Yeah, maybe I have to share him a little bit but like he loves the hell out of me. They talk to each other in Pinterest quotes. Yeah. They're face to face and try to one up each other.
Starting point is 00:21:35 Yeah. What was it lying what your name echoes in every chamber? But you guys heard. The name echoes in every chamber of my heart. All three of you hold in here would love for your girls to say that about it. I'm going to steal that. No, but like, said about you. Yeah, not the other way around.
Starting point is 00:21:54 Like, how would that make you feel as a dude if a girl said that about you? Wow. Right? Honestly, I would blush. See? Same. Start toiling your hair. It's beautiful.
Starting point is 00:22:02 Yeah, I crossed my beat. That's cute. Swing them. Same. I can say it again. Love you too. All right. The cimpurepimper, her heart chambers are all, they're all same.
Starting point is 00:22:15 So sick. All her heart chambers was saying, I got two. He manifests with this man. Yeah, she manifests with this man and now she's with them and she's head over heels with him. That's a bar. This man that is married still. Well, yeah. It's just one of her phones.
Starting point is 00:22:30 She still got him. She's one of his phones. There's a sim. Sim. Sim. Sips. Siss. Sips.
Starting point is 00:22:38 Sips. Okay. All right. All right. Let's get into Homehill. Helpline. All right. Check this out.
Starting point is 00:22:45 You need a homie or need some help. We need your help. We need a line. I mean phone line. We got you for the homie help line. Dennis needs our help. Dennis. Dennis sent us a DM and said, hey, brown bag.
Starting point is 00:23:01 I need help. My name is Dennis and I've been dating my prima's best friend. But lately, there's been weekly arguments. Like every week there's an argument about something. That's the same thing for sure. Yeah, I know. He's tired of it. He's tired of it.
Starting point is 00:23:18 He said, we're on our fourth breakup already. Jesus. That's the best. Now, the latest issue is that she wants me to delete my prima's location because she said, every time we have an issue, I'm going to where my prima's at and is going to talk, and we're going to talk about her, and she wants to keep our relationship private. That's a family. I've been through this.
Starting point is 00:23:41 Yeah. He said, what should I do, brown bag? And then he said one last thing. My girl has a male best friend that she has movie nights with. Hold up. Wait, this is a little, addy little extra. Let me throw in the show on the salad. Movie nights?
Starting point is 00:24:00 Movie nights. Two and one. Fourth break up. Does she go to his house or he goes to her house? Oh, that's a good question. That's a good question. These people clearly hate each other. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:11 She clearly. It's hate and it's love. the same dang time. Okay. Yeah. We have Dennis on the line. Dennis. Dennis.
Starting point is 00:24:18 Dennis. Hey, how you so, bro. Hi, Dennis. Hi, Dennis. Dennis. So how did you fall in love
Starting point is 00:24:26 with your prima's best friend? Where did you guys, how did you guys meet? Was it a family party? Talk to us about that. Before I met her to my cousin, she was at a bar and we kicked it off from there.
Starting point is 00:24:47 And they were arguments. Then there were arguments like. Okay. How long have you been together? You said, fourth breakup with weekly fights yeah so we just made what 10 months 10 months okay
Starting point is 00:25:04 that's fourth breakup is good okay you have to tell me about this location thing she wants you to delete your cousin's location from your phone yeah any stages you know I was like damn what do I do how do I you know how do I make this relationship because this is my longer
Starting point is 00:25:24 relationship ever so who else now I'm gonna talk to about this is not for friends who is getting a little four years. And I guess she did tell her about us, my cousin, told her my friend, my friend, my girl, about what had, the things
Starting point is 00:25:44 I had discussed, and I guess she didn't like that. And one day we all together and I asked my cousin, I'm like, yo, let me get your location because I have my other person's location as well. I'm like, I don't have her. She's like my sister. We're going to be together and one day we leave i went to my grandma's house she pulled up and she said oh i see
Starting point is 00:26:10 she's there you probably talking about me i get you it's just in her brain i get it yeah okay so she sounds guilty yeah you sound a little bit muffled bro if you could take me off speaker however we're talking but i can kind of recap what you said a little bit so you got what you're close with all your cousins and you have their all of their locations and honestly when it came to this girl you're trying to make it work and the only person you could really talk to her about it is that cousin that's a friend so you talked to your cousin about her and little things went back to her that maybe you and your cousin spoke about and so she's like bro don't bring don't bring your cousin into this then she saw your location and was like you guys are probably talking about me please take that
Starting point is 00:26:52 off that's been the most recent fight you said yeah yeah and i'm like i don't i mean and like we not talking nothing crazy with like hold on details just you know how to help me make this relationship work and yeah and i and i yeah because i mean i want to make this work you know and and and to her she she she i guess i mean i'm not seeing it in her eyes but in my eyes i'm like okay the location thing i'm like i want to keep tracks on my cousin you know i want to see you I have none of my cousin's location. I have them. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:30 That's just because probably I'm not the favorite cousin. And she don't have like a big family like I do. And I guess she finds them weird. I'm like, and eventually I think I hit you guys off last week. And we just spoke about it this weekend. And I didn't want to give in to turn it off because that day she was like, oh, she's probably going to get mad because we're together. And it was not just me And everybody else
Starting point is 00:27:58 And I'm like You know And she started making it weird I'm like Oh you know Love your cousin And stuff like that I'm like
Starting point is 00:28:05 No She's guilty Yeah no That's weird When she started making it That weird I'm like okay I'm gonna delete it
Starting point is 00:28:13 Just because You made it weird You got these You got these Yeah I feel weird You put in these thoughts In my head
Starting point is 00:28:20 And I don't want you to think It's dead I think you should delete her Hold on He wants to make it work. He said he wants to make it work. Tell me about the room, the best friend, the male best friend. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:34 Let's get to that. Watching movies. Let's get to that. Well, I'm saying that, oh, they should have movie night like before. I mean, I guess I don't know how long they've been friends, but he said they've been friends for six years. And they do less close by with each other, like walking distance. Oh, my. Okay.
Starting point is 00:28:57 To my knowledge, maybe in the beginning, they did, I don't know, but she has heard of that, oh, and we haven't had, she said, she said that she had movie night
Starting point is 00:29:12 with her friend and her, his roommate. And I'm like, all, and I think that they're all like, oh, so he's doing that, I guess I could have
Starting point is 00:29:21 female friends to watch movie night, and I think that kind of ended up. But she kids bringing it up that she wants to do that. I'm like, and I'm like, That's weird.
Starting point is 00:29:29 That is weird. And then maybe you feel a little bit gaslighted because you think it's weird, but she's trying to make it seem like it's not weird. And then you're like, wait, is it weird? So that's why you're asking this? And also, she's accusing you of living your cousin. So it's like, at that point, it's like, okay, well, then you love your best friend. Like, what? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:46 I feel like, that's just like that. I'm like, that's my, that's my blood. And like, it's a random dude. Like, you know, I'm like, oh, okay. That's my brother. Oh, my God. Have you met him? because you see, it seems like you may not have met him or know him too well.
Starting point is 00:30:06 Never met him. Oh, actually, they met him once. And maybe within, maybe like four five minutes, say hi, what's all. And that's it. And now, her family does speak highly of him. He's a very big guy and no secrete all of that. Yeah. Ah, he's coming for your spot.
Starting point is 00:30:26 He's waiting for you to fail. Are you sure? That's her girl, bro? Yeah. Are you sure? Okay. Okay, so you said they live close to each other, like walking distance. So where you're at, the way, like, you're in the East Coast, right?
Starting point is 00:30:41 Yeah, we're. So is the walking a little different than walking distance here? Because I feel like, I don't know, like, where are they houses? Is it an apartment? Oh, yeah. I mean, yeah, everything is walking distance here. They say that, but walk six blocks. Yeah, I know.
Starting point is 00:30:58 Take a walk over there. Walk to get a bag on a coffee. Okay, so she has a best friend that also has a roommate, so she watches movies with him and the roommate. Is the roommate a boy or a girl? Oh, my God. So her and two boys, watch him. Just like old time.
Starting point is 00:31:22 My stomach hurts, bro. My stomach was already hurting and it hurts more. Are they watching movies or making them? Dennis, you have, what do your homies tell you? I guess what does your prima tell you? I've never spoken That to no one else Because I don't want her seeing her
Starting point is 00:31:38 A different way Nah No you're protecting her Stop protecting her But the thing is like Your cousin is gonna know Like the real her Before you
Starting point is 00:31:47 The cousin knows those roommates Those best Yeah What's happened there That cousin will be able to tell you Trust that dude Or do not trust that dude Yeah
Starting point is 00:31:55 And if your cousin like Loves you that much Like she's gonna be completely honest She's gonna be honest with you Because it's blood And that's I think Why? Are you Dominican or Puerto Rican?
Starting point is 00:32:06 I'm Mexican. You're Mexican? Oh, okay. Let's go. I don't know what you're talking. You're talking. The majority he has Dominican, Puerto Ricans, you know? Isn't he?
Starting point is 00:32:20 Is he not? Yeah, he sounds Puerto Rican. He's Dominican, man. He lost his out. Wait, are your parents from Puebla? What part are your parents from? Que lo que. Puebla.
Starting point is 00:32:31 He's New York. He's a New York. Yeah. A black community over there. Angie? Yeah, but La York. But La York?
Starting point is 00:32:39 I love it. Pueblo, York. All right, let's have to homie, man. Oh, my God. You've been with her for 10 months. Any other time you guys would have broken up. Can I ask you what, like, when was the craziest breakups that you had?
Starting point is 00:32:54 Because you said you broke in a four times. Four times. I mean, at first, it was that because I'm the type of dude who doesn't like to go out, you know, drinking and stuff like that. And she does, you know. And one of the first-day first breakers is because she wants to go out, and I'm like, I'm not feeling it. And we just got into it.
Starting point is 00:33:17 I'm like, yo, like, if you want to do that, then go ahead for someone else who liked that. And that turned up to another ordeal, and then next year and I'm like, you know what, this is not going to work out. But for that one, we gave it another shot. months past by and most of them
Starting point is 00:33:36 breakups do occur during the phone and like and I tell her let's not talk about it's on the phone because we end up
Starting point is 00:33:41 yeah we're not gonna work things out talking on the phone and I'm gonna get frustrated and I'm gonna say thanks I don't want to say it
Starting point is 00:33:49 that's very controlling of your own emotions I like that I like that he's a good dude how long do the breakups usually last all day
Starting point is 00:33:58 all day he What is it? What is it? Hello? Hello? Yeah, usually like a day. A day.
Starting point is 00:34:06 Within the next day, we kind of talk about it. I'm like, you know, let's make this work. I really want to. I want to know, yes. After you break. To Aventura. After you break up, does she have a movie night? Oh.
Starting point is 00:34:20 She hasn't had a movie night in a long time. Just like all time. She does turn up her location and that kind of gets me a little. Yeah. On purpose. On purpose. Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh.
Starting point is 00:34:31 On purpose. Danes. Danes. Why do you stay with her? Yeah, tell us something good about her because you're only telling us the stuff that makes us hate from her. No, she's amazing.
Starting point is 00:34:43 I mean, she understands what my financial struggle and she's willing to help me out. And she's really good with my family. Like, it just the little nicks between you know, me and her that just it becomes
Starting point is 00:34:57 such as a snowball fact that I end up getting frustrated myself. And I kind of do make things worse. That's why I like talking on the phone. I like talking face-to-face. And she don't want to do that. When I'm like, let's talk about this face-to-face. Like, no, this is all right now.
Starting point is 00:35:15 I'm like, we can't solve it right now. You need face-to-face. And that's when I'm like, you know, I have this. I don't want to do this more. And then you get, and then you realize, like, let me calm down. I love you. Like, you got me. I got you.
Starting point is 00:35:29 Right? No, like after the day. After they cool down. Yeah. Yeah, after a cool down, you know, like, we kind of, you know, talk about it. And I'm like, I mean, lately I'm like, I can't keep doing this. This back on four. You can't get.
Starting point is 00:35:45 How many times during the week do you crash out? How many times during the week do you crash out because of her? So, like, almost every day. Aw. Oh, my. What? I'm sorry. I'm so sorry.
Starting point is 00:36:02 It's just how you to Puebla, York is crazy. What borough are you guys in? Brooklyn. I live a man. Okay. That's a, that's a train ride, huh? It takes a while to get to her. It's almost a long distance relationship.
Starting point is 00:36:19 Yeah, I mean, I do all just see her in the weekend. So it's, I mean. You only see her on the weekends? And it hurt. It's not a problem because she says a lot of problems that we have, all right, not hurting is that you don't get to see each other that often. Right, right. Her and her homies see each other all the time because they live down the street from each other.
Starting point is 00:36:37 Walking to see. Oh. Hey, I got you. All right. Dennis. He's such a nice guy. He's a great guy, bro. You're a great guy.
Starting point is 00:36:50 And I'm sure, like you said, she held you down. It seems like you guys understand, like you're struck. You may be struggling a little bit right now, but you got each other. She's really good friends with your. Prima and also in on the family. So that's important too. You want someone that gets along with everybody. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:37:04 You know, when you're not with her, you feel that, like, you feel that loss, you know, you feel that there's something missing, right? She completes you. Yeah, definitely. She definitely understands me. I'm like, everybody says, like, how many years you've been together?
Starting point is 00:37:21 I'm like, years. It's only months. That isn't a year. Is she Mexican, too, or Keseaja? Yeah. Mexican. right for real. Wow.
Starting point is 00:37:30 The Puebla, your drama is great. No. Tocico. I love it. And I love that you somehow found us. So shout out to you. Yeah. All right, Pappy.
Starting point is 00:37:39 He knows that he's Dominican. He's not Dominican. He's not. He's not. He's not. He's not a Dominican to me. Do people ever think you're Dominican out there? Say it again?
Starting point is 00:37:47 Do people ever think you're Dominican out there? I mean, I'm going to look like by stuff else. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I'm a
Starting point is 00:37:58 too old Dominican but this deadly Mexican when growing up right yeah where's the best Mexican food in New York mm-hmm I would say like in the Bronx you got good spots and upper
Starting point is 00:38:14 like upper Bronx which is Westchester County okay okay let's file that into my word Queens you can leave Queens out of the out of the Queens you got dirt out of spots Queens Queens
Starting point is 00:38:27 Queens All right. Thank you, bro. All right. We have to help him. Los Angeles. Los Angeles. Our Puebla, our Puebla, York, our homie.
Starting point is 00:38:40 Yeah. He needs our help, bro. Maybe he's in a whole other time zone still going through it. Hey, there's somebody over there. Salis with your woman. What? No, not somebody. The roommate.
Starting point is 00:38:51 The best friend. The neighbor. Both of them. Thank you. That pardoned, God. I don't know. Dang. 818.
Starting point is 00:39:02 5-2-0-10-9. Let's help Dennis. He seems like it's such a good guy. He does. He does. I think he's too good of a guy. He don't. Or could it just be that she
Starting point is 00:39:14 like she may not be as as old as him? That's all I was about to ask. How old is she? Because it seems like little petty things, you know. We've got to get that off sometimes. You know, you've ever had like a stupid fight. Like this is no.
Starting point is 00:39:28 reason we should be fighting about this. Like it's just so, and it's like, you're not going to X your girl out for that. No, but it's like also her saying, making it weird between the cousins saying like, oh, you have a thing for your cousin. Yeah. That part. That's her. That's her and her anger.
Starting point is 00:39:41 That's her and her little petty weight. Again, toxic. Mm-hmm. Do you completely count your person out because of that? I mean, it just depends on. That was a little weird. They're fighting. That's just weird.
Starting point is 00:39:51 They're fighting every day. They're going to, they're going to break up because. They're not fighting everything. That's what he said he's fighting weekly. Remember? He said like, like, Oh, like every week, he said. Every time they see each other.
Starting point is 00:40:00 They're going to break up for the most pettiest thing ever. Like, why did you drink the water like that? Also, they only see each other on weekends is a big deal, too. Yeah. Working in Manhattan, you could tell he's really hustling in there. Yeah. And trying to make it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:40:15 It's the grind. When I go to New York and I see, like, our people hustling, they're there, and they're working and they're trying to get out of that. So I think that that's part where his life is at right now. Yeah. I didn't catch his age. A, Dennis. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:40:28 How old are you, bro? 34. 34. How old is she? She? Yeah. And she's beautiful, huh? Yeah, she's gorgeous.
Starting point is 00:40:44 Yeah. She's like it. She like it. He likes it. He does. He does. He does. Multiple times.
Starting point is 00:40:56 Four times. He wants to stay with her. Yeah, he does. He wants to make a. it work for sure. How do you make it work with the girl that just keeps on arguing with you? Yeah, you gotta let her go. Especially she's that young.
Starting point is 00:41:07 She's that young. He's way older. He's expecting to like wife her down. She's 26. He's 34, he's that? Yeah, he's already like, he's probably in that sense. I guess the mind frames are different.
Starting point is 00:41:18 100%. 100%. Because everybody's probably looking at him like, when you're starting a family. Yeah, settling down. He doesn't even go out on the weekends. She's barely going out still. Like she's young.
Starting point is 00:41:28 She wants to still like, She doesn't realize a couple of things are inappropriate when you're in a relationship. Yeah. Don't let Albatura play in the clubs out there. Oh, no. Yeah. No. Chopi, shoddy.
Starting point is 00:41:39 But no. And then she only sees him on the weekends and she wants to go out and he doesn't. Yeah. Come on now. Different lifestyles. Very different lifestyles. I know I'm a home body. I love being home.
Starting point is 00:41:50 Jorge, my husband and Jorge, they're out on the town. Like they, me and Luis, homebodies. Yeah. It's just different lifestyles. But he's not out getting drunk on the club. I don't know. Is he? seen him?
Starting point is 00:42:00 Or he did or something want to call in about that? That no pardoned, God, you know what I'll say? 818 52059.
Starting point is 00:42:11 The homie Dennis seems like a really good dude, very hardworking. He has a girl that he met at a family party. Like even he didn't go out to meet her really. Like he's really close
Starting point is 00:42:19 with his cousins. And yeah, that was a little bit weird. He got that shock of like why you got to go extra about that, about the location? And she just kind of went off the rails.
Starting point is 00:42:29 with it. She does say things, nitpicks at him, but then I also told him like, hey, I used to have this best friend that's a dude and we used to go watch movies with each other. It's nothing wrong. Like, I don't look at him like that. He's like a brother to me. He can't help but feel like that feels weird to me. Okay? Pimbing and older
Starting point is 00:42:47 dude too. Older dude, like, no, that's nothing. Like, that's not weird. Like, you know how you guys always like, no one's really a friend to be a friend? Like, it can take age to see that. Yeah. Because when you're younger, you're the friend of the girl you know like you're you're that one uh so let's help him out he wants to make it work yeah he's not trying to break up he loves dennis you do not want to break up with her right you want
Starting point is 00:43:10 to make it work i yeah i want to make your question is like i guess throughout all like how do you stop breaking up how do you stop yeah how do you stop like the weird bitter fights the little little nitpicks right yeah i'm making it worse because when we start i kind of want to like cool things down for like she gets to my head where I just I do say the most random things and make things worse I'm like how do I stop myself from saying that like yeah you get crazy like you meet her where she's at because I even when the thing that she talked about how maybe you had a crush on your cousin or something I feel like you may have responded with something or also said something to bring that on too like tu tamint te yavas yeah yeah you're not telling us what you
Starting point is 00:43:58 said but you definitely said something too probably right out in New York. I mean, I do need to make sense words. I do come bring up her ex. You bring up the ex? Do you think she knows how to play you? Like, how to press your buttons and stuff like that? Like, she does it on purpose?
Starting point is 00:44:21 You call, but like, you know, someone, you know, you take too much where it's so tall, like, ah, man, after this, I don't want to keep doing this, but if you come to the orientation, I'm like, then we have, we have to win too much. how much a kennel sheet to just to let it go. Dennis. And Dennis, Dennis. Oh, my little Dennis.
Starting point is 00:44:40 Dennis, you haven't thought about like just dropping this whole thing and going to Dykeman and meeting a Dominican? Yeah, go to Dykman. Not chill. No, no, no, no, no, go to dieminton, bro. The answer is not be a bad person. It's not a bad person. He wants to make it work. Press the reset button.
Starting point is 00:44:59 That's all I'm asking if he wanted, if he considered it. Hey, can you make your profile on private? I'm a request you, okay? We want to see how she looks too. No, we don't want to see how she looks. I'm going to do a loyalty test on her. He does. He looks like, Maximo.
Starting point is 00:45:13 Oh, he's handsome. Hey, you gotta go to Dykemen and meet the mayor. All right. Dennis, Dennis. Come on, man, know him. We'll help you out. He has a little toxica on his hands. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:45:24 Yeah. Than him toxica. But he definitely wants to make it work. Mm-hmm. Okay. She gets him to a point where he kind of gets all so hot like that. and gives her the same energy, and he does not want to do that anymore.
Starting point is 00:45:38 I guess how can he self-discipline? Yeah. And also how can he get her to, like, just chill out? Hearing the story, I was like, I'm looking in a mirror right now. I went through all this too. Yeah. He did? Yeah, 100% scary.
Starting point is 00:45:51 How? For how many years? Same thing, like crashing out all the time. Every week. And the same thing, like this cousin, these girls that I would date, I would go to my sister a lot for everything. So because I was like, my sister, I'm trying to get a girl's perspective. Perfect.
Starting point is 00:46:03 There's not a lot of girls that I trust. And you trust your sister. So I trusted her. I was like, I'm going to trust my sister's word to see what it is. But girls would find that so weird. They would tell me, why do you go to your sister for everything? Why are you asking her like this? Why aren't you just ask me?
Starting point is 00:46:15 And I'm like, you're the reason I'm asking my sister. You're the problem. I get it. They would make it weird. Yeah. It doesn't have to be that extra. I'm going to my sister because I need a vice. I need a gross perspective.
Starting point is 00:46:27 I'm not going to go to my mom. My mom's just dumb, whatever, right? But I have like no girls in my life where I could ask. And then they would have, make it something it shouldn't be. So that's what I was like, wow, this is kind of. Yeah. I noticed how you said these girls, so you were like multiple at one time.
Starting point is 00:46:42 No, not my, literally, no, girls I've dated. Yeah. Because I always go to my sister for everything. So it's like, it's not like my sister. Don't stop that. Your sister's a great. So that's what I'm saying like these girls that I've dated, they've always made it weird. Like how come every time there's a problem you go to your sister?
Starting point is 00:46:54 I'm like, well, how else am I supposed to go to? Well, how come every time there's a problem? Yeah. Yeah. I should have said that. Hey, that's a good one. Yeah. That was a good one.
Starting point is 00:47:01 I should use that. But what if those girls were to go to their friends that are like brothers to them? Hey, they're getting a drop-pigate at a tour. Life brothers is different than brothers. Drop-picking. You have 6.19 right there. He's like my brother. Spear through the.
Starting point is 00:47:16 Dennis is dating this girl. They've been together about 10 months. It's actually his cousin's best friend. And he says that there's weekly arguments. There's always something to argue about. They broke up four times already. And. In 10 months.
Starting point is 00:47:30 Yes, in 10 months. and his girl has a male best friend that she has movie nights with. Had in the past. Had in the past. Had. Hasn't had since they've been together, but brings it up. And it's like, bro, why even right now? He's requesting to have another.
Starting point is 00:47:44 However, after speaking to him for a little bit longer, he did tell us, I get like that too. I bring up her ex. You could tell, like, Tampocchio is a pro la little, they exchanged the fire. When they kind of get into it, they exchange the fire. He's definitely, I really feel. like, hey Dennis, if we were to talk to her, she would tell us things you've said, right? And things you get mad at, right?
Starting point is 00:48:08 If we were to talk to her, she would tell us things that you've gotten mad at and things that you've said, right? Yeah, she was thinking of that. Yeah, same. So there would be there would be like that balance. They try to big dog each other. For sure. Yeah. He says it's so calmly.
Starting point is 00:48:24 Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. She was like, she'll like me a mad one. Okay. Okay. So he lives a little bit far from her, they see each other on the weekends. He is in love with her. He loves her. He thinks she's the most beautiful thing in the world. However, it did get weird when she started questioning
Starting point is 00:48:42 his relationship with his cousin. Who is the reason why they met in the first place? She's the best friend of one of his cousins. And it's like, it just is like, if you've ever been in that relationship where your partner just kind of is suspicious of any relationship you have, male or female, I'm just like,
Starting point is 00:48:58 maybe jealous of it. Maybe it's not necessarily like, oh, you're you're doing something with them, but it's like, oh, why are you close with that person and not close with me? You know? Yeah. There's that weird stinginess of like, I want you to myself. Yeah. That girl's like, what, you in love with him or something? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:49:15 To the prima. Yeah. Yeah. So we need your help. Not breaking up. Everyone's saying they should break up. That is not the answer. He does not the answer that he wants to hear.
Starting point is 00:49:26 I just asked him if he felt like hitting the reset button and going to see some Dominic. Yeah. Indictment Indictment He said no He said no He wants to stay He wants to make it work out
Starting point is 00:49:36 Yeah That's a bad choice Puebla York Yeah That's our guy right there Okay Oh gosh Joseph from North Hills
Starting point is 00:49:44 I'm just going by The call number Okay Joseph Joseph Yeah what's up Joseph Hi Joseph
Starting point is 00:49:51 What would you tell Dennis Well I mean If he don't want to break out Then he needs to ask to his cousin What the relationship with the dudes are
Starting point is 00:50:00 Find out the truth Because what did you say in your call notes, Joseph? I mean, there's a reason she don't want them to hang out with his cousin Because stuff hasn't came up yet So when it does, she's it Yeah The cousin knows the truth About the guys
Starting point is 00:50:18 And what's the truth? Truth is she's getting it from both of them From both of them Joseph, I'm going to read your at your call note His girl for sure got piped down by her homie Your cousin knows this. She's looking out for you. Listen to your family.
Starting point is 00:50:35 They're always going to have your back. I don't know that his family has necessarily told him to break up with her. Yeah. They get along with her. It feels like the cousins kind of like letting it run its course. What's up, Joseph? They get along with her. Yeah, but has he asked him like how she really is with dudes and shit?
Starting point is 00:50:52 Hey. No, that's a good question. Hey, hey, have you asked, Dennis, have you asked your cousins how he is, how your girl is with guys or how she is, when they go out? I really ask for them. Like I said, I never really try to get into details within our relationship.
Starting point is 00:51:12 I mean, I just say the maxed, my, since I went through, but never really axed. I don't think they'll look out for you. You don't think she'll tell you, you said?
Starting point is 00:51:21 Yeah, I don't think she would tell me, like, how she was before. Mm-hmm. You know what I mean? Oh, my God. Yeah, I get you.
Starting point is 00:51:37 Yeah, you know, Dennis was like, I don't want to know. Yeah. If you're playing me, Keep it on the low. He probably has like a gut feeling, but he doesn't want to face that. His cousin is just watching. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:51:52 He's like. All right. Abby, Abby in North Hills. Abby, I'm going to warn you just like Umberto warned you. Abby, do not cuss, Abby. Abby. Good morning, baby. Good morning, Abby.
Starting point is 00:52:06 I'll make you sign a waiver before you get on air. I will not cuss on the radio. Abby. I will not cuss on the radio. Okay. Thank you, Abby. What would you say to me? What I was saying was that, first of all, I remember the type of dynamic.
Starting point is 00:52:22 I have a best friend, and I started dating his cousin. Oh. And we're the same age difference as well. He's third night. Wow. You guys are like living the same life in different coasts? Yeah. That's cool.
Starting point is 00:52:39 Yeah, we were here in the San Fernando Valley. Okay. Okay. So, um, with the call. And then like, just like her, like I had a. a little bit of my toxic out ways as well. Like it comes mostly from like past traumas or whatever, you know, but he was patient with me and he loved me through them.
Starting point is 00:52:56 And like most of them I ended up dropping them because like I said, I was just working through some stuff, you know? Right. So I kind of like that he's standing by her. I think it's kind of cute. But I'm not going to know guys' house to have no movie night either. Yeah. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:53:12 Like at the end of the day, like I have friends that are guys as well. None of them are secrets and none of them are weird. And I definitely don't think that he loved his cousin. That's weird. Yeah. That's true. Like, are you serious? Like, that's his cousin, dude.
Starting point is 00:53:30 You know? But I think that her saying that was just part of a manipulation tactic for him to do what she wants. You get what I mean? I don't think she actually thinks that to be honest with you. You know what? I'm with you. I'm with you. I'm with you.
Starting point is 00:53:44 I'm with you. I'm with you. want you so me I'm with manipulation because she knows that she's doing things that are not okay if you're in a relationship with somebody but she really doesn't
Starting point is 00:53:55 want to stop doing that there but she also doesn't want to let this nigga do it either hey you get what I'm saying you're doing so good Abby you know I could tell that you've been working on yourself I could tell that you've been working on yourself because you're like you're kind of seeing it beyond the actual beyond the actual
Starting point is 00:54:16 action you're seeing kind of like the reason for the action so I can tell you've done work on yourself. Like you said, what she did. Yeah, what she did, she's not trying to say like he's with his cousin. She's that's not what it is. It's you done. It's her being like, hey, take your cousin's location off. There's something I want you to do.
Starting point is 00:54:32 No, I don't want to. What? Are you with your cousin or something? Do you like your cousin? And then it turns into that and now it's like, oh, okay. But it's less about her actually thinking that and more about her getting what she wants through this. He just wanted to get in his head and she did.
Starting point is 00:54:46 Get what I'm saying? Like, and it's like. And in a way, it's testing the waters to see how much more she could get away with in regards to manipulation, you know? And, like, I think it's kids that Dennis wants to work it out with his little toxic guy, you know, like, even toxicas, you know, like, even toxicas, you know, that part. That's right. But at the same time, like, the reason me and my dude, we have, we're going four years strong. You know, we had a whole baby together. She just turned one.
Starting point is 00:55:12 You know, like, and, like, we have our problems, but, you know, it's pretty much like we're solid. You feel me? We're locked in. But that's because we both want that. You get what I mean? So it works out. Like, even if you have those problems, it works out because you both are in the same goal, the same mindset. I don't think that she's on the same page as Dennis.
Starting point is 00:55:32 And it says because Dennis sounds like he's a good dude, especially if he's willing to stay with the toxic ways, you know? So really, really, like, if Dennis is trying to stay with her, I mean, I wish him the best of luck, but no amount of advice that he could take. And no amount of work that he can do is going to make that work if she don't want it to. Yeah. Sheesh. That makes a lot of sense. And Abby, this is coming from someone that you can identify with her a lot, the girl, of, like, I had toxic ways. A lot of that was what happened in my past.
Starting point is 00:56:03 It's not my current partner's fault. But that's also, we have to understand, like, this is what I'm going to. We just let. Yes. And then also let me work on myself. Yeah. Yeah, but I wanted to also make it clear, even though I can relate to her in the toxic ways. I don't move the way that she moves.
Starting point is 00:56:19 Like, to me, the way that she moves is weird, you know? And when I see, that's why it's hard for me to have friends because, like you said, I've been working on myself a lot. So when I see people move weird, I just get down. And I really don't want to be around that. I see too much for me to know. I know better than to be around people that move certain ways. Okay, when you say move weird, you're talking about how the movie nights with the guy best friend, right?
Starting point is 00:56:45 First of all, he's friends. But then she says him on the bus. No, no, no. I think, too, also, like, because he was muffled a little bit. No, she lives right by him. Yeah, walking distance. But also, and I think maybe me and you can, like, go back to this point of she says things, not because she wants to do them or she believes in them,
Starting point is 00:57:08 but it's the reaction she's getting from her man. Because she hasn't had these movie nights with this guy since she's been with her man. That doesn't have me. No, okay, but, but, but, Let's go back to it. If he doesn't know about it, do you think she would tell him? No, right? Absolutely not.
Starting point is 00:57:25 So she's telling him something in order to get him to react. Like, we just talked about how she manipulates him, how she said the thing about the cousin. This could also be something else that she says to get under his skin. He's also said, I bring up her ex. I get just as mad as her. It seems like they're exchanging these things to see who can hurt who or like when in the, in the argument. I guess I don't necessarily believe she's still having those
Starting point is 00:57:53 movie nights, but I do think she's using him to get her mad. That makes sense of the heat of the moment. You get me, you're trying to get under each other's skin and see who could say the most hurtful thing. But he also mentioned that she's been bringing it up when they're not even arguing.
Starting point is 00:58:10 Like, they're cool, they're both level-headed, and she's been mentioning that she's been wanting to do it, and she's been on her mind, and she wishes she could. So it's not just in the heat of the moment. This is really something she has on the back of her mind. Yeah. And then hers reaction is what she seeks, though, because then he gets like...
Starting point is 00:58:26 I think that her thing that she wants to do it is testing the water to see his reaction. It's not to see if he'll get mad. I think she's doing it regardless. Yeah, I think we're kind of saying the same thing, but I guess you don't want to agree. I get it. She's definitely saying it, like, to test the waters and see what he's thinking. Yeah. But also she sees that he reacts like,
Starting point is 00:58:48 bro, why are you even doing that? And then he was like my brother. She's seeing how it riles him up. Yep. Dennis, when she brings up this best friend, it noticeably gets you upset, correct? Yeah, but how do we don't like to show it? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:59:06 That gets me that pissed off. I'm going to do the same thing. It turns into the, okay, well, I'm going to do it. All right, well, I'm going to do it too. I'm going to go. Yeah. Well, what about? I'm going to call your ex.
Starting point is 00:59:20 Dennis, what about it? if you actually join them and have movie night and see like the vice. No, like just see how they act like within like join them to movie night happen. I know, but I'm just talking to get him mad. She likes, she likes, she likes, she like, I guess she gets a, and I've seen it.
Starting point is 00:59:36 It's not okay, but I have seen a girl be like, I just want to fight right now. Let me come a man and like pick a fight. It seems like she's picking at you because she like, I guess that thrills her. It keeps your guys' relationship on like a certain level of like, ooh, we're fighting now, you know? She may seek that.
Starting point is 00:59:53 She didn't mention before that she was like that dude. Yeah, no, I get that part. Yeah, her ex used to hang out with her and her best friend. That's a dude. You don't make her feel weird about that? Like how she makes you feel weird about your cousin? Be like, you're weird. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:00:21 Or be like, you're in love with him. Are you being a weird old? Yeah, that's the reason I believe the location. We can like, why keep saying this thing? Now you got this in my head. Yeah. You know what? Like, I didn't want to do it because I kind of want to set a boundary.
Starting point is 01:00:34 Like, you know what to tell me what to do with my family, basically. If she was a female friend that's not related to me, okay, I get it. I get your argument. Yeah. By the fact she's like, my. When she talks about taking your cousin's location off because, like, why are you guys talking about her and why are you guys so close? Dennis, do you share locations with your girl? Yeah, from my thing, since the first month, she asked her.
Starting point is 01:01:04 I was like, I mean, I got her to. hide. So, I mean, like, realistically, how often do you check it? Like, during the week? I mean, most of the time, I mean, I really don't check it like that because I know she goes to work and she, and I mean, I would check and when she will go out with friends, which is rare, which is rare. And I would check, oh, where she's up to where she's at.
Starting point is 01:01:32 So I barely check it. Bro, it's okay to admit that you check it, bro. Check it more than that. I'm driving. I'm listening to my music. Oh, my God. Okay. You have to watch.
Starting point is 01:01:45 You guys are both like this. But with the iPhone location, like even when you text, you can see their location right there. It tells you. Yeah, but I mean, I don't even check it like that. I don't check it like that. Oh, so you don't text you like that. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:01:58 I get it. I get it. You know, he's really chill. He doesn't let her know. He doesn't let her know. I want you to know it doesn't. It doesn't make sense that if you meet her, but also you're chill. Like, which one is it, bro?
Starting point is 01:02:08 Are you chill about things and you don't let her know? Or are you being like, your ex, blah, blah, blah. This girl used to do this to me. Which one are you? I want me get like that when she brings out of the New York out of me, you know? The New York. The Pueblo, York. You're never like, hey, why are you in Spanish Harlem?
Starting point is 01:02:28 What you're doing right now? I don't like getting like that. I don't like getting like that. Yeah, you don't want to get like that. I get it. You want to break that. He wants to break that. Break up.
Starting point is 01:02:38 He doesn't. That's not the solution he wants. That is the solution for editing. Ten months is still fresh of them getting to know each other. Them not seeing each other during the week doesn't allow them to fully like connect. So I feel like in the weekend it's like every weekend it's a little bit of time that you're spending together in 10 months. Yeah. It's not a lot.
Starting point is 01:02:59 He wants. I guess he said that he wants her. He said that. She doesn't want him. That's it. She does. I think she does too. She likes that play.
Starting point is 01:03:07 It's a weird game. And it comes from, yes, she's definitely toxica. Yes, she's definitely been through some things. It's a weird thrill to want. Similar with certain things that guys seek when they want a certain thrill. Her thrill is like, yeah, let's keep this up here. When our flame is high, that's when I love it. Like I'm in it.
Starting point is 01:03:27 I feel like, ooh, it exists. And then they break up, though. That's the thing. For a day. Yeah, because then they make up. Even in a breakup, you guys have all been through breakups. You guys have all been through relationships that are make up and breakup. Even that gives you a high.
Starting point is 01:03:42 Not necessarily like, I wouldn't even know if the high is the exact word for it. But even that gives you like something. Yeah. And then the making up gives you something. It's not. If we were all logical beings, a lot of us wouldn't be in any of the situations that we're in. But that's kind of just understanding, I guess, the relationship dynamic that they're in. It's so easy to tell him breakup.
Starting point is 01:04:03 Right now, though, they're in this thing where it's like right there, they like it. Yeah. And she loves, she wants him. I don't know. It's just that's who, that's who she, that's how she engages. The breakups with the location off. Yeah, that's, that's moving weird for sure. I don't know if you ever had a break, an argument or a breakup and took off a location.
Starting point is 01:04:23 That's also, that's also a way for her to trigger him. Yeah. She knows that it gets under his. Of course. That's just buttons. So I think she wants them, but she also. so doesn't mind playing these games. She's playing really horribly.
Starting point is 01:04:37 That she cares about him, I do believe. But she don't know how to act healthy in a relationship. And sometimes when all you know is toxic, you don't know. And honestly, it takes that healthier person or that person that's like, all right, I'm going to stay with you regardless of your this way until we work it out like baby girl Abby said. Because let's say everybody breaks up with you that you're toxic to. Do you ever get out of being toxic? No, because that's how you're operating. The person that's going to stay with you, or you learn that on your own.
Starting point is 01:05:05 But the person that stays with you and that makes you, I guess you can now be like, it's my goal to want a healthy relationship with this person. So now I'm going to work on myself. You know, everybody has that. If it's not this part of her, it could be like not cheating anymore. It could be not going out anymore, not being an alcoholic anymore. It's that person that you change it for. All of these are toxic traits, right?
Starting point is 01:05:29 but it's the person that you will change it for. Clearly she doesn't want to change. She's not. Well, it's 10 months in. And also, like, he meets her. Yeah, I don't know if she's trying to change. She's not trying to change. At least not yet.
Starting point is 01:05:40 He is, though. He meets her. But he's changing himself. So I think the answer needs to be, I love you. No, not breakup. I love you. I need this to change. If you want to be with me, you have to change.
Starting point is 01:05:52 Clearly, it hasn't in 10 months in. But he hasn't tried that. Yeah, he's going back and forth. And that's like, well, he's meeting her. He's right there with her. That's the bad part because it just goes into like who can go lower, who can get on each other's nerves. It's there. But yeah, like I think what Leti said is like, yeah, set those boundaries.
Starting point is 01:06:11 Like, all right, if you do this again, if you accuse me of this again or if you do this again, I'm out of here. Yeah. Because I'm not trying to have this type of relationship that you want so bad. I want to have this chill, nice relationship. I'm 34 years old. Yeah. I'm not trying to do this. I'm past this.
Starting point is 01:06:27 And I want you to be past this too. And I love you enough to stay with you while you work on it. Because again, that girl Abby is a really prime example of that. She was probably really messed up because of toxic relationship. Her man could have dumped her and been like, you don't care about me, none of that. Understanding a lot of what she's doing is a reaction to and because of what's happened to her. But he's like, look, I'm going to stick around. You got to fix this, though.
Starting point is 01:06:47 Yeah. If you don't fix this, then you're showing me you don't want this. Yeah. There's no clarity on what is exactly the reason they get in these arguments, though. Yeah, he didn't say that. What we have is like Where it leads to We don't have clarity on
Starting point is 01:07:01 If it's like some type of jealousy That they feel because of distance Because the first one was because she didn't like She likes going out And he doesn't like going out Yeah And they break up And they broke up
Starting point is 01:07:11 That's the first one That's the first one That's the first one that he told me I'm just wondering like what leads Because it's like okay I'm going out What's like the trigger Yeah Because if this happens this often
Starting point is 01:07:21 Then it's weird And he also said when we fight on the phone And he doesn't want to talk on the phone And he doesn't want to talk on the phone with her Because he doesn't want Yeah When we fight on the phone We end up breaking up
Starting point is 01:07:32 That's why I'm like let's not talk on the phone Let's talk the person Because it's gonna be Well we can ask Dennis When you guys break up Is it because she's jealous Is it because you're jealous?
Starting point is 01:07:41 What is it? Not because of jealousy It's I mean Different topics basically One of the topic is that I told her oh I need a long time
Starting point is 01:07:57 and she has went off saying, like, if you want a long time, then why are you with me? I'm like, I used to need a date to myself. Like, I mean, because I'll go to work a week, and I spend a weekend for her. And I used to need a, you know, a day to myself. I mean, I didn't say that day and then. I mean, I'm like, I want to be, like, in the future,
Starting point is 01:08:19 I'm like, maybe, like, stuff like that, it's not, I mean, there's not that about Jesse, but yeah, the security thing with my cousin, like, oh, if I go hang out with her, like, why you like a company about her? I'm like, it's not even bad. Like, me and my cousin will always be together. Like, we're going to go maybe to the mall or, you know,
Starting point is 01:08:42 why don't we get something to eat? And like, yo, what are you doing? I'm like, man. That was the day before I met her. And I kind of do miss those days where it's just me and my cousin, so her, just only. But, I mean, yeah, that's where she, start getting pissed off.
Starting point is 01:09:03 I get it. Do you feel, Dennis, do you feel like you need a day off, like, or a date to yourself or with your family because you're, like, stressed out? Boy, just a bit to myself. With her, I mean, don't do learning.
Starting point is 01:09:20 I mean, like, you go all, go do your own thing. And I'm going to do my own thing, but she said she wants to, you know, she likes spending time with me. And I'm like, it's not bad I don't want to spend time with you. I just need my, my, from my my day yes to online. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:09:35 Like, just to figure out, like, my daily struggles that I got to go through, like, just relationship-wise, you know. Financial stuff. When you bring up her ex, why do you bring up her ex? What did he do? Well, I used to break it up because she don't like talking about him, man. Yeah, but, like, what part do you bring up? She still loves it.
Starting point is 01:09:57 What brings up? I mean, what do I say? I just say, oh, because he will take her out. He brought her the nice things. And I'm like, and I really can't do that, you know? Oh, baby. And now, like, you know, like, you want this thing? Like, well, you know, let the other guys take you out, whatever,
Starting point is 01:10:17 stuff like that. Yeah. Yeah. Hey, how did you find that out, though? Did she still talk to him or, like, did she tell you straight up, like, my exes to do this? Well, a little, but little, I would just, like, call me and, like, tell her, oh, so how was that guy? And she would not tell me until little her.
Starting point is 01:10:32 Like, she would burn it and she'll like, fine, I'll tell you this. And I kind of looked them up on her Facebook. She would not tell me. I kind of did my little. Yeah, but you don't look at her location, huh? Yeah. Yeah, but he's true. Yeah, hello.
Starting point is 01:10:46 He's good. No, no, you know what? You have a better heart, Dennis. I just realized. What? It's Dennis. What's Dennis? The problem.
Starting point is 01:10:53 No, it's not the problem. Listen, okay, look, look, the problem is Dennis. Why are you laughing? Because he knows, look, I figured out. The problem is, look, tennis works a lot, right? And the little time he has, he's trying to squeeze in everything. Yeah. A relationship, time with family, time with friends, and alone time.
Starting point is 01:11:11 You got two days. You don't have enough for all of that. Yeah. So he wants to still have her, but he wants to have his family relationship, his alone time. Yeah, he wants to rotate. He wants to rotate it. And she's like, yo, like, we're supposed to be together in the alone time when you have that two days off or whatever. And he's like, nah, I'm tired.
Starting point is 01:11:29 Like, you go out, I'm going to chill. Dennis, does that sound right? Yeah, exactly on point. Oh, that's the point. You're the problem, Danny. You. No, he's not. He just doesn't have enough time to balance it.
Starting point is 01:11:45 Yeah, it's a work's problem. Go for like a 50-year-old or something, bro. Because what would we say if a girl hit us up, like, hey, I'm dating this older guy, and I only see him on the weekends, and he told me that he don't really want to see me on some weekends. Yeah. Like He would think he's a problem. Yeah, we would think he's a problem That he's hiding something.
Starting point is 01:12:03 Because what I kind of feel too with her Because she, like, we're no one of talking about jealousy And it may not be that she's jealous of the cousin. I think of like maybe like abandonment. Like you want to do everything with everybody else But not me. It's like it's like a little like I feel like chosen over.
Starting point is 01:12:18 Yeah. And it's a weird thing to put it And maybe because she feels those sad feelings Now she's reacting in a way. Well, I'll go kick it with my best friend I used to watch movies with me. Yeah It's the trigger hand
Starting point is 01:12:29 Some people Yeah Like some people can handle Like some distance In a relationship Some people can't Like some people want you all the time Some people are like
Starting point is 01:12:36 Yeah It's just that's how they are Yeah And you just have to like adjust Or move on Yeah You know what I'm saying If you don't want to be with that person
Starting point is 01:12:44 And that's what they require You gotta figure it out Matthew Matthew and West Covina You said you're going Through something similar Yeah Good morning guys
Starting point is 01:12:53 Good morning Matthew Yeah So I'm kind of in like the same situation. Just, you know, the tables are turned. Just I'm 31. My lady, 39. And we've been together for 10 years. So since you were 21 and she was 29?
Starting point is 01:13:14 Giving her take like the month at like 28, 29, yeah. Okay. Okay. So, okay. Dennis, let me ask you this question real quick. Do you love her? Oh, hold on, hold on. Let me, Dennis, do you love her?
Starting point is 01:13:30 Yeah, I love her very much. Aw, he's okay, okay, Beth, he loves her, he loves her, yeah. So, wait, wait, I got a couple questions for Dennis. So, when was the first time that you told her you loved her? Because you've been together, what, 10 months? Yeah, when was the first time you told her you love her? First time, I think within, like, four months in? Four months in.
Starting point is 01:13:52 Same thing. Okay. Four months in, okay. So did she, like, take. Like, did she take it like, oh, I love you too? Or did she kind of like play it off as then like, oh, okay, like that's cool, I guess. Thank you. Thank you.
Starting point is 01:14:06 How does she respond? That she did, um, she did, um, say it. But not, nah, yeah, she did tell me, like, I love you very much. Like, I think you're the one. Oh, yeah, I'm like. You echo through the, through the chalda chambers of my heart. All right, Matthew. See him.
Starting point is 01:14:22 Matthew, no more questions, Matthew. You asked a lot of them, okay? Yeah. We should have asked them. I know. Thank you. No, okay. So, like, look, like, my lady has a guy best friend.
Starting point is 01:14:34 I've met him. I have him on social media. I mean, as far as doing, like, a sleepover or anything like that, she's never done that. I mean, I'm not the jealous type. If she were to tell me, like, hey, I'm going to have a sleepover. I mean, if she was doing something on the side and didn't want to tell me, I mean, it's like, look, either you can be with him or you can be with me. I mean, personally, like, you know, the ball's in her court. But, I mean, like, for me, I've met her best friend.
Starting point is 01:15:05 I have him on social media. We've all gone out for a drink. So, I mean, like, you make sure that, I guess, like, be a part of that part of her life. You cannot have that, like, I guess. Yeah, like, separated from, like, who you are in her life. I get you. You inserted yourself. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:15:25 So it's like, you know, like. There would be times where I'd come home from work and she would tell me like, hey, I'm going out with my guy best friend. All right, cool. You know, like, I get it. You know, we have a daughter at home. You know, we work. You know, we never really go out. I mean, she never goes out.
Starting point is 01:15:42 I can't get mad at her for that. It's like, okay, you want to go out, have a few drinks with your guy best friend. De-stress. You know, catch up on life. He's been with her for 10 years. Greg trust. Greg can't believe it. I can't believe that at all.
Starting point is 01:15:57 It would be 100 years. Go have drinks with my guy, best friend. She comes on my 2 a.m. too, or what? Well, they've known each other since high school. Like I said, she's older, so, I mean, like, I can't really say nothing. So it's all like, you want to go out with a guy best friend? All right, cool. Like, I have no problem with that.
Starting point is 01:16:13 Do you go out with your girl best friend? I don't have any girl best friend. It's not about doing the tip for tat. We're literally talking to Dennis and we're like, don't do that, bro. Yeah, you guys are doing it. He's saying, like, yeah, it can exist. That's just disappointing me, bro.
Starting point is 01:16:31 So, God. Okay, so, like, for example, this past week, so, no, like, this past weekend, a couple of my homeboys I used to work with back in the day, they hit me up saying, it was like a last minute thing, too.
Starting point is 01:16:44 Like, hey, can you go out? And I'm like, well, let me ask the wife. Let me see if she'll give me permission. So, um, but I asked my buddy. You ask her wife for permission, but she goes out with her guy, best friend for drinks?
Starting point is 01:16:56 She's asking him. Who's doing to clap him? I'm clapping. She's asking. It's called communication. I thought I was her guy's best friend. So, so,
Starting point is 01:17:06 I asked my buddy, though, I'm like, hey, I'm like, can I bring my lady? Or is it guys only? And he's met her before, and he's all like, hey, if she wants to come,
Starting point is 01:17:15 like she can come, but he's all like, we really want you to go out. And I'm like, okay, cool. So, you know, like, ask my lady, hey, you want to go out with me?
Starting point is 01:17:23 To the bar. I go? She's like, yeah, go. Have fun. I'm like, all right, cool. Say less. And then did you get a ring notification an hour later that her guy best friend was there? Oh, Greg.
Starting point is 01:17:35 No, I see Matthew. He's trying to include her so she doesn't feel left out or anything. Everything you're saying is a good example of, like, I guess, how to be logically sound. I feel him, you know, you want to. I mean, I mean, if she were to bring a guy best friend over, that would be kind of hard because our daughter would be home. Yeah. Yeah, I know. See, he can't play into your little, like, he's a little toxic situation.
Starting point is 01:17:59 in your head. You guys are 10 years strong and you've lived through things and I'm sure that you understand your girl. I could only commend her communicating with you and you communicating with her. Well, look, I mean, no one's perfect. I mean, I've done some things in my past that I'm not proud of with her. Yeah, 21 of you guys met back together, of course. That's what she has.
Starting point is 01:18:21 Well, I mean, like I said, like, six years into our, like our relationship, like we were, like, we were arguing all the time. I mean, especially in front of our daughter. So, I mean, like, we were always at each other's throats. I mean, it got to the point to where I actually moved because just we were not getting along. Like, it was just constant, like, every day. It was about the smallest thing, the smallest thing, like, she, like, I would get home from driving, like, an hour, hour and a half. And then, like, I would have, like, one foot through the door and one foot still.
Starting point is 01:18:58 and the moment I open the door, she's already yelling at me about something. And it's like, dude, I just got home. Like, what could you possibly be yelling at me for? So. Would she ever go to a guy best friend and vent about it, though? I mean, there are times where, because I'm not, back then,
Starting point is 01:19:23 back then I wasn't the best person about listening to her, like, her stress life about, like, stuff at work. So, I mean, there would be times where I'd get home and she'd be on the phone and I'm like, who'd be on the phone with? And she's like, oh, my best friend. And I'm like, okay. Like, I never thought anything of it
Starting point is 01:19:37 because, you know, like, if she feels more comfortable talking to her best friend about destressing, I'm not going to get mad about that. I think that's a problem. Not even in a toxic way. I think it's just like, I get what you're saying,
Starting point is 01:19:52 but it's like, that should be, like, she should be comfortable enough to talk to you about it. And that's what Dennis's girl is saying, about his cousin, but we're all saying she's wrong. We're literally, Dennis's, no, Dennis's girls are you like, hey, why are you going to your
Starting point is 01:20:08 cousin and not me? And we're saying she's wrong. You literally said you had girls mad at you for going at your sister and not them. This is about work. If he would ever get mad. Oh, my God. No, I'm just saying, I agree with y'all, but let's put that all on the floor everywhere around.
Starting point is 01:20:24 You got your back, Matthew, I got your back. Wait, wait, has Dennis met the best friend? He said once, yeah. Once. One time. One. No, but we're talking about Dennis. The best friend is also his, like there's, she has two best, she had her, his best friend.
Starting point is 01:20:39 Her best friend is Dennis's cousin, girl cousin. Yes. She's also told Dennis about a guy that is like a brother to her that she would hang out with, previous to them being together and brings it up. It seems like to get on his nerves. See, that's just being petty right there at that point. Understand. Yes.
Starting point is 01:21:01 Yeah. You're right. You are right. I want to know why you asked him about the I love yous and then you didn't even do anything. I had nothing to do with your story at all. Or advice. Oh, so because I mean, so for me, like, okay, so I met my lady the same way. I guess that is it.
Starting point is 01:21:21 It was a family party. I met her through my cousin. My cousin's older. It's a girl cousin. So, I mean, like, I've known my, I've known my lady since I was 16. and I met her when I was still in high school, so 16, she was 23. Oh. I told all of her friends, including my cousin.
Starting point is 01:21:40 Minor. Minor. So I told all of her friends, including my cousin, like, you know, like, hey, one day, like, me and her are going to, like, be together, you know, like, one day, like, we're going to, like, end up, you know, like, a happy couple, you know, yada, yada, yada. So, I mean, so I met her when I'm 16. I knew her. So our daughter is, our daughter is biologically not mine.
Starting point is 01:22:16 So, you know, I knew her. You know, I was friends with her. When she was. I'm going out of this conversation. This is his own home homey help line. Yeah, this is a whole different thing. Matthew. The guys.
Starting point is 01:22:29 How are you going to help Dennis? Matthew, all of the guys have walked out in the studio. Matthew, I mean Matthew, sorry. Matthew. Okay, so what I'm trying to say is that, you know, she can get on your nerves, she can drive through the wall, she can, you know, press every single button that you have where like you want to drop.
Starting point is 01:22:54 Yeah. But at the end of the day, if you love her and if you really, really want to be with her, I mean, I know it's only 10 months, but if you feel like she's the one that you want to be with the rest of your life you got to do what you got to do to make it work even if she gets on your nerves even if she presses your button
Starting point is 01:23:13 I mean my lady brings up drama from like six years ago you know she has dreams of you were minor she had like she has dreams I like how he was yeah right to end
Starting point is 01:23:33 He's heard this already, so he's just like, hey, yeah. I guess what Matthew is saying is like, look, if I can do it throughout all of this, throughout with the girl that has a baby, that we went through our drama, it's just proof that I really loved her and we got through things. You too, Dennis, if you actually really love this girl, you too can get through it. Is that what you're trying to say, Matthew? Yeah. Okay.
Starting point is 01:23:57 All right, thank you, Matthew. Thank you, Matt. Let me talk to Dennis really quick. All right, hold on, hold on. Dennis? Dennis. Dennis. Do you want to be like Matthew?
Starting point is 01:24:05 Yeah. I don't know. Hey, no. Hey, do not listen to anything Matthew said, bro. Right. Matthew is happy right now. Oh, my gosh. In a healthy relationship.
Starting point is 01:24:18 That someone had a kid before. Guess what? That's not the problem. Okay, what's the problem? That's where you guys walked out. No. But as someone that's dating someone who has a kid, that's not even. No, that's complaining different.
Starting point is 01:24:29 Okay. No, 16, 23. Oh, yeah. That part of it. No. She prayed on, bro. That part for sure. But Matthew can't be like that because he's older.
Starting point is 01:24:38 I mean, Dennis can't be like that because he's older. So it's not like, hey, do you want to be like Matthew? Yeah, Matthew. Hit us a homie help land for tomorrow. Thank you. I already have that one locked in. You can hit us next week. Yes.
Starting point is 01:24:49 We're jam-packed with this toxic stuff. Hey, Dennis, you got to hit her with something like, I really love you. I really want to be with you. You got to show me that you're changing. Yeah. Because we can't keep going this way. And you too, Dennis, because you too, Dennis, because you also
Starting point is 01:25:04 You're Mr. Principal Azul, but it feels like you're not either. You two have to be like, I want you enough that I'm doing this too. I will spend Saturday with you. Dennis is like, I got two hours for you. Yeah. Instead of 30 minutes. Yep. Dennis, do you hear what we're saying?
Starting point is 01:25:25 You don't have no time for us. Yeah, I heard you guys. Okay. Are you going to do it? I mean, I guess. my army, I guess I'll do whatever it takes to make it. You should. If you want to work, the other option is breaking up for her.
Starting point is 01:25:40 And she's what everyone told you to do. Set those boundaries. I also don't want to be a mandolin. No, that's not it. You're not. This is the top thing. You have two days. It's the opposite.
Starting point is 01:25:53 Tell her basically take it or leave it. Act right or get left. What makes you think it would be mandilone? Because this is also seems like if she requests something, you can't say yes because you're not a mandilone. But are her requests maybe reasonable?
Starting point is 01:26:09 Like, hey, can I see you? Nothing. Hey, wait, wait, Dennis. If you had to choose between going to a Knicks game or having a date with your girl, what are you doing? I'll go through my girl. There you go. All right. All right.
Starting point is 01:26:24 He loves her. What about a Yankees game? Junk. They're all different stories. Yes, I'm going to do it. I think of it. We're like All right
Starting point is 01:26:39 We did some I don't know I think so I think we did I just thought We figured Dennis That's it Matthew
Starting point is 01:26:46 I just A Matthew You're still on the line Just Just Matthew Sending love Have a good day Matthew
Starting point is 01:26:53 You're good dude Yeah Sending love I mean look If Dennis If really Dennis If you really
Starting point is 01:26:59 If he really wants To show his love I mean He can get a tattoo of her name Matthew You're not the one give advice.
Starting point is 01:27:05 You are not. The one. No, he's just down the line. Did a tattoo over name? I got a lot of love for Matthew. Yeah. Matthew's a good guy. He is a good guy.
Starting point is 01:27:15 Ever since he was. He was. He was a good. When I first met him 16. I'm going to be with her, dog. I'm going to be with her. He fell in love with her for love at first sight. He'll be with her, you know.
Starting point is 01:27:28 Yeah. He set a goal. All right. He accomplished it. But we have tickets to go see Kendrick Lamar. Tickets. Kendrick Lamar and Siza. If you want to go see Kendrick Lamar and Siza at their sold-out grand national tour,
Starting point is 01:27:40 which everybody, man, the more more I see on Twitter about it, the more I'm like, dang that it was so cool. Yeah. He was in North Carolina where Cole's from and everyone was like, oh, what is he going to say? What is he going to come out? Yeah, he did great. He did great. He did called. People were like, if he did this is cool, North Carolina, we're going to get our shirts and throw them in the hair.
Starting point is 01:27:58 No, the helicopter. No, no. To see the racetrack. Yeah. It's been like a helicopter. No. No. No.
Starting point is 01:28:04 No. B-T. PT. B-T. P.D. Pablo. He's not just Freakleek. He's also that song. A helicopter shirt guy.
Starting point is 01:28:13 Oh, yeah. Yeah. But we have these tickets. We have these tickets to give away. It looks really cool to be there. You do not want to miss out. It's coming home to SoFi Stadium. You know Kendri's going to do so much when it comes to this show.
Starting point is 01:28:26 The other day we were talking smack about people that get the track list. Yeah. You know, like the set list? Yeah. Hate it, right? I hate it. Yeah. Okay.
Starting point is 01:28:33 And I told you, my son does that. Why? He just ruined it from himself. So as we're driving, as we're driving, he's playing songs and he's like, he's showing me songs and he's asking me about names of songs. I was like, why are you doing that? He's like, because it's the set. I'm like, don't tell me the set list.
Starting point is 01:28:47 Oh, my God. But it's some trippy songs and I'm like, oh, I get it. There's drama even within the set list. It's pretty crazy what Kendrick and sisters are doing. And I'm like, why do you do that? Why do you look at the set list? And he's like, so I could learn the lyrics. I get that.
Starting point is 01:29:00 So that's why they find the set list. I get that. They can memorize the songs of what's going on. so they can sing along when I was like. Then you're not a fan. You tell me Gen Zee does like a report and like. For sure. Whatever.
Starting point is 01:29:11 Yeah. Yeah. Like they're like they come to a concert prepared. They prep. Like if they go to Coachella, they're looking at even the acts they don't know. My son loves Siza. So yeah,
Starting point is 01:29:20 he isn't a fan of Kendrick like that. Yeah. But he's looking at the set list so he can hear it so that when he's at the concert, he gets it. He gets it. I get where he's coming from. Greg, how do you prep for a concert?
Starting point is 01:29:30 You just listen to the album straight from one to like wherever, whatever it's. No, no, All right, Maximo, how do you prep for a concert? How did you used to prep for a concert back in the day? You print lyrics. Pay dues.
Starting point is 01:29:40 What? What? Mick, just how else thought you did it? Yeah, how do you do it? In the parking lot, you're prepping with your friends, you know, beforehand, getting out your mind. Oh, they do that too. But my child is 19 years old. Not bad, but, you know.
Starting point is 01:29:54 Yeah, but look up the set list. It's kind of weird because I'm just telling you why they do it, bro. Don't come from me. That's literally why they do it. And I understand. Because you're basically just listening to the hits then, if anything. Just might as well just listen. listen to the hits of that artist.
Starting point is 01:30:06 No. But it's just going on. It's actually, I get where he's coming from. And I get why he did it. And when he was telling me, I'm like, oh, I don't want to know. I don't. Like, I want to be surprised there. I want to turn up and all of that.
Starting point is 01:30:17 I guess with him at least, I don't know if this is speaking for that whole generation. But for him at least, because he doesn't know Kendrick like that, he's listening so he knows his song. So now he can vibe with everybody else during the other half of the concert that he's there for. And also, so they time out their bathroom breaks, which is very smart. Because the last thing that you want to do is be in the good song. Oh, yes. Imagine you're in the toilet and you're hearing it.
Starting point is 01:30:40 No. Yeah. There's still people in line. Wow. So, yeah, anyway, we have those hundred-comart tickets. Very interesting. And I like it too. I like him seeing through the little, because I'm a lyric.
Starting point is 01:30:51 No, there's people at concerts that have the list on their phone. Oh, no, not the list. Like, I like, I like seeing the lyrics. Like, I'm like, oh, he's learning the lyrics. Cute little guy. It was an actually touching moment. Yeah. Because then I'm like, yeah, you know, this song.
Starting point is 01:31:04 is this. You were telling him history stories and he's like, what? You were there? And I'm like, yeah. Anyway, all right, we have those tickets. And what you have to do is super easy. You just got to play for them, all right? It's raining outside and also Ramona told us that it's National Teachers Day.
Starting point is 01:31:19 Shout out to all the maestras. Maesda. We always talk about, like, the teachers that we don't really like. Shout out of a teacher you like. Yeah. Shout out of Miss Doherty. She taught me about Burt's and. Let's go, Ms. Dority.
Starting point is 01:31:32 What else? Oh, you know what? during Christmas she would decorate the whole classroom with Christmas lights everywhere. And then she would always like Thanksgiving, she would cook a turkey. What? Shout out, Miss Dordy.
Starting point is 01:31:44 All right. Shout out to Miss Neal Briscoe. She had one green eye, one blue eye. And she was a history teacher. And it took me until about the end of the year to realize that her name wasn't Miss Nabisco. It was Neil dash Briscoe. It was hyphenated.
Starting point is 01:32:04 The whole time I was like, Mrs. Nabisco? She never checked. Yeah. No. Kind teacher. It sounded the same kind of. That's funny. I want to shout out Miss Sargent. She was my English teacher in high school.
Starting point is 01:32:16 And when I was kind of messing around, like, being a little troubled child, she would always let me turn in all my work late. Or she'd be like, go do your thing. Like, you don't have to be in class, just finish this assignment. And would let me just kind of do it on my own. That's very nice. Yeah. That you're delayed a bit.
Starting point is 01:32:36 For sure. Pockito. Not delayed a bit. Yeah. No. Just ahead of my time. Oh, okay. Okay.
Starting point is 01:32:41 Okay. And Greg. I want to shout up, Ms. Diamond. She helped me grow up as a man a lot in high school. What? What? Yeah, like, it found her, like, naughty. She was, yeah, teach me a lot of things.
Starting point is 01:32:53 I don't know if you're taking it perverted now. Oh, my God. There was, like, multiple, like, she would have multiple pages, too. It wasn't just one. Oh, going pervy. Got it. I was talking about my phone. I don't have a teacher's and shout out.
Starting point is 01:33:04 I really didn't like school. Okay. I wasn't a school person. What about you? Greg. Showing up to school hoping to be groomed. Greg, just shout out your bus driver.
Starting point is 01:33:15 I don't take the bus. I walked home. I was a loner, all right? Which bus driver? Counselor? They lived a little. I didn't take no buses. I had to walk home.
Starting point is 01:33:25 I have no friends. Look at me now. Still no friends. I thought we were friends. That's fine. It's cool. I feel like I get my teaching style from this teacher and his name was Mr. D and I know that sounds weird. But he was actually a triplet.
Starting point is 01:33:42 Oh. He was, and sometimes he would trip us out and bring in his triplet. Oh, that's kind of cool. But I knew it wasn't him because he would get really mad if we didn't. We're little. We're like, what's two plus two? If you said three, this guy would like stomp and get mad and angry. And I feel like that is me with you guys.
Starting point is 01:34:00 But shout of Mr. D because it was really cool that he had a triplet. That was the first time I ever knew triplets existed. And they live long. They're older. That's very random. To think of three grandmas that you're like, oh, you guys are triplets. It's not something that you see, right? Exactly.
Starting point is 01:34:14 So he kind of showed me that. I was like, oh, okay, they exist. Yeah. I also want to shout out all the teachers that, like, have a tough life. You're better. Vanilla. No, not her. She loves her job.
Starting point is 01:34:25 No, but I think he's a teacher. He used to have, like, extremely sweaty armpits. All right. And then they made fun of them. Well, we talked about teachers. so much that we loop past the segment. Thank you, Ramon, over telling me that it's time to go to break. Nancy and Norwalk, your caller
Starting point is 01:34:38 10. Congratulations. Hey! Hey! Hey! Your teacher real quick! So excited! Shout out of teacher. Hurry up. Shout out of teacher. Mr. Powell. Hey, Mr. Powell. Mr. Powell is my fourth-grade teacher of mine.
Starting point is 01:34:55 Let's go. He was so nice. He was a tall, white man, and he was a super... The super nice teacher. This is super. Super. It was super nice. Congratulations. We have a super nice time. Connected like I'm rosecrans.
Starting point is 01:35:10 Rooscrans. Roos Krans. Word on Rose Krans. All right, you guys, if you thought Did he had skeletons in his closet? You said it. Hold on. Hold on.
Starting point is 01:35:19 You said, Chew guys. Choo guys. I didn't say chew guys. No, you did. So now when you're not here, when we, when whoever fills in, they can say,
Starting point is 01:35:26 All right, you guys. You fellas. You fellas. You fellas. You fellas. What about the girl. Yeah, what about that is. You fellas.
Starting point is 01:35:32 You fellas. You fellows, you are. The word is, jurors are being selected in Diddy's sex trafficking and racketeering trial. Yep. All right, so jury selection
Starting point is 01:35:41 took place yesterday for Diddy's trial going down in the Daniel Patrick Moynihan Courthouse in Laura Manhattan, New York. The lawyers are selecting from 150 people asking them to take a questionnaire
Starting point is 01:35:52 that's going to take 20 to 30 minutes about, right? So the questions include if they've ever been convicted of a crime, if they have a history of sexual assault and more. They were also asked if they're familiar with the names Michael B. Jordan, Kid Cuddy, Cassie Ventura, Mike Myers, and more.
Starting point is 01:36:09 Oh. Yeah. And Michael B. Jordan is on the list, apparently, because he was once allegedly threatened by Diddy over his relationship. With Cassie? With Cassie. Rolling Stone said. And so because of the questionnaire, you know, they all had to share their experiences allowed with the whole courtroom. And one lady actually stole the show, quote unquote, because of the item she stole.
Starting point is 01:36:31 it was a magic wand from Harry Potter World She said they said have you ever stole anything ever Have you ever been convicted of a crime She said yes a magic wand from Harry Potter world Everyone in the courtroom chuckled And was just like dude that's so random for you to feel that So this is less of a is it a questionnaire or is it the attorneys asking It's like a questioner everybody has the same one
Starting point is 01:36:50 It's part of the process where both attorneys for both sides They pretty much go through every juror And each of them get to split that they don't want. They split the amount of people they choose. So, you know, half a, I don't know, what is it? Six and six if it's 12. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:37:08 So each side chooses six and based on like your experiences. Yeah. It's a fun experience to go through. You went through? Yeah. Is that really? Like, because we all have juries. We should have all.
Starting point is 01:37:18 Yeah. Yeah. I haven't. I was sick. I had school. I think I was out of family emergency. Every single time. So Maximo Way.
Starting point is 01:37:24 Yeah. I knew you would be the one that goes. What happens in jury selection? The one I went to was. tenant versus the landlord. And I was like, I don't want to do this. So I kept saying how much I hated my landlord. Because it presents bias.
Starting point is 01:37:40 If you have a bias in a case like that, they can kick you out. Because then if I'm the prosecutor, I'm the defense attorney. I'm like, that person is more likely to go to the other side. So I don't want them to be a part of the trial. That's the whole point of the questionnaire to see if they are if they are unbiased or just like what their viewpoints are, kind of the person that they are. And that same juror actually said, you know, when they asked, like, would you be able to be here for eight weeks straight if you are selected? And then she said, yeah, I mean, I do have a concert that I have unfundable tickets for.
Starting point is 01:38:13 Like, I guess I can be here. So everybody found her very, like, amusing. Yeah. She wants to be out so bad. She's doing the maximum thing. Have you ever stole? Yeah, a wand. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:38:25 That's crazy. But she was able to be, you know, still kept. on. Yeah. She wasn't disqualified. But another perspective juror said that they had liked a video on social media in where a comedian joked about Combs and baby oil. So they said they saw a video about, you know, and I was thinking, I was like, who did
Starting point is 01:38:43 the joke about Diddy and Baby Oil? Who didn't? Yeah. I feel like everyone did it. I think, I think, didn't Andrew Shultz have a really good one? I don't know. Did he? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:38:55 I think they're in New York as well. Yeah. I got to think, you know, he's a big New York community. You know, it wasn't perfect. Like, yeah. So they admitted to liking that? They admitted to liking it. It could show you may have bias.
Starting point is 01:39:05 Yeah. So she said, I remember liking it because I thought it was funny. And then the judge, Submaranian, decided that they were disqualified after they said that because they wouldn't be able to put that video aside and be impartial. That makes sense. It makes sense. Yeah. But like that's like the reach you want to go just to be out of it.
Starting point is 01:39:25 Well, I guess you. For example. You don't get paid, bro. For example, you know how. No, they probably didn't want to get out of that one particular. But you have to share your experience. You have to. How Maximo said it was a tenant versus a landlord.
Starting point is 01:39:37 He probably has no experience. They're trying to get people that don't know the tenant, don't know the landlord. It's going to get harder because it's ditty. People know him. People know the jokes. So they're literally trying their best to find people that don't know who this fool is that haven't seen any content on him. It's going to be hard.
Starting point is 01:39:52 But it's usually cases like a Maximo. Like no, he doesn't know the tenant or the. Yeah. Yeah. Every question is tailored to that specific trial. So mine was like, do you know your landlord? Like, how do you feel about your landlord? Everything was based on that.
Starting point is 01:40:07 So for this, they're trying to figure out who is going to be like, oh, they know Diddy. And it must be really hard. There was even one person that was disqualified because her husband was actually a juror in the 1991 trial with Diddy that someone was actually, somebody actually died and he was charged civilly and sued for you know throwing on in the past putting the party on essentially so she was like oh I'm kind of connected because of this my husband was previously in a jury involving him so thank you goodbye disqualified there was a lot of people disqualified it's to be so hard to find people like it is yeah it's gonna be tough for sure somebody's pulling up bumping ditty they're like he's
Starting point is 01:40:48 out yeah so they're they're trying to find 12 jurors and six alternates yeah and right now They have 19 deemed qualified to serve. Okay. To get 24 more. The goal is to get them by the end of this week. And if all goes according to plan, then opening statements for the trial will begin May 12th. Yeah. And I guess with this report too, now people are like, okay, potentially we could see Michael
Starting point is 01:41:11 B. Jordan having to be summoned to talk, Kid Cuddy to be summoned to talk. Of course, Cassie, we've known she may be up there telling her story. And I know that it's kind of like should Michael B. Jordan or Kid Cuddy go? I think at this point, at least with Kid Cutty, it seems like he wants to help Cassie because of what happened with her. Yeah. So reportedly allegedly, Did he either did or had someone try to blow up a car of Kid Cutty's after hearing that Kid Cutty and Cassie may be connected and dating, right? Yeah. So he never talked about it.
Starting point is 01:41:47 But once Cassie came out, he did. It was like, I stand by her like, and I'm going to be there for her type of deal. I'm wondering if it's the same when Michael B. Jordan, you know? Exactly, yeah. To show up. Yeah, the one big question I have is like, what is Mike Myers? Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:42:00 It didn't say anything. No, but I was even shocked with the Michael B. Jordan being there, but you said it's because he was. Yeah, I looked that up and apparently, you know, they had reportedly flirted in the past and stuff like that. But the Mike Myers thing, all I could find was that he attended a Diddy party. Or maybe, yeah, it might be. Or maybe Diddy Loss his Mojo?
Starting point is 01:42:20 Or maybe Mike Salsals. something. Yeah, he could have just been a witness to something. They want to ask him something. They want to see it. From being there. When it comes to Michael B. Jordan,
Starting point is 01:42:28 if you were in jury selection and they're like, do you know who Michael B. Jordan is? Greg would be out. He's like, yeah, I hate that guy. I hate that. Greg and Vendig. I love the guy. He's his twin brother.
Starting point is 01:42:37 The only Michael Jordan, we acknowledge, is the goat. Michael Jordan. The basketball player. Don't be included. Cologne? The one with the Cologne. This is like a crazy situation because, like, at least for California,
Starting point is 01:42:51 you get paid $15. a day. Nice. Oh, you do? New York is 40. What? What? But like if the Diddy trial is going to go for months.
Starting point is 01:43:01 That's money, bro. But $40 a day? It's going to go on for $40. $4 a day for cheesemet that could last a lifetime. Yeah. That's Cheesman. Then you can get paid for doing the documentary of being a juror in the Didi trial. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 01:43:15 You're right. Bro. You know what? I don't know anything about Diddy. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. Cidcutty.
Starting point is 01:43:21 Cassie. The guy that goes, yeah. Can't stop, won't what? Wait, I thought Sting saying that song. Oh,
Starting point is 01:43:30 yeah. That is, I know, I know sting. Yeah. Have you ever put on baby oil? No comment. Just lotion for me.
Starting point is 01:43:42 Wait, so for jury duty, they don't pay, like your job doesn't pay you? I think they're only able to cover 10 days. I think it depends on your job as well. Yeah. Depends if they're nice or if they're,
Starting point is 01:43:52 Yes. Because I was thinking of my day, if you get paid $40 a day. In New York. LA is 15. Okay. That's barely enough for lunch. Yeah, that's why I was like,
Starting point is 01:44:04 I don't want to be here. That's like a coffee and a muffin. Two months of being stressed out too. $40 a day, though. You'll know all the chiseme. It's like, it's crazy. I don't know if I want to know all this chisemean. I might be on TV too.
Starting point is 01:44:16 My stomach might hurt. Hey, what? Like, juror number five? He's like, please stop staring at the camera, journey of life. Journey number five. Please stop. It's doing the blue miss face.
Starting point is 01:44:26 Yeah. And the problem is too, they have to tell people, like they have to like certify. Like I will not share this with anybody that I know. Law enforcement. One person was like my sister-in-law is a therapist and I will not tell her. I promise to not tell my brother-in-law who's a cop. Well, that's if they let you go home because sometimes with these type of trials, they'll lock you up in a hotel room.
Starting point is 01:44:47 Yeah. And take your phones. And I don't think you could watch TV because if you watch TV, You could watch the news and it could mess with the stuff that you hear. No way. They lock you up like that. Well, specific cases like this one. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:45:00 I get that because it's entertainment. You're going to watch the news, social media. That's crazy. Probably paid off. So we'll see if they can get 24 more potential jurors. Is this happening in L.A. or New York? No, New York. Oh, New York.
Starting point is 01:45:14 Gotcha, gotcha. That's why we said the difference between the prices. I know. I do not know where that $1 million came from. Your Honor, but he's not guilty. I don't even know how I got this flight over here, Your Honor. If you just need somebody, I'm here, though, for like the next. I'm available.
Starting point is 01:45:30 The next two months? That wire transfer? I don't know. Is there anything about single moms in here, Your Honor? Because that's the only thing I know about. If there's not, then I can remember that. See, D-Bee, I don't. No, no, no, no, no, I'm not about that.
Starting point is 01:45:41 All right. Well, that was your word on Rosecrans. Brought to you by a local Southern California, two-out-de-dealers. I'm Rosecransvik for Brombeck Mornings. I'm Power 106. with Angie. All right. The Meggala
Starting point is 01:45:56 happened last night, guys. Yes, it is. And the theme was actually super fine tailoring black style. Super. So when you guys think of that,
Starting point is 01:46:03 what do you guys actually think of like? Suits. I never get any of their themes. But I feel like this one was very like
Starting point is 01:46:09 straightforward. Yeah. I thought it was very like suits, very tailored to you. Yeah. When I started to see some of the photos
Starting point is 01:46:17 on social media, it just reminded me of like the 2010 era of like going to clubs like when people were like Fedoras and like yeah like business clothes best to the club
Starting point is 01:46:30 and stuff like that's what I was like oh this is like an elevated kind of version of that I thought it was great sinners promo because definitely they dress like that in the movie yeah a lot of yeah it looked old-timey kind of which which I was like oh this is pretty cool yeah yeah I know Neal must have been like yo I've been ahead of my time this is me yeah ahead of a time I need a plus four
Starting point is 01:46:49 no but a lot of celebrities where there obviously. Megan the Stallion, though, and other celebrities, they broke a rule, the no phone rule at the Meggala, which now I'm thinking like, Homegirl, are you even allowed to go back? Because she was actually in her phone and she was trying the food. And she posted that on her social media. Try food at the med. Wait, wait, let me have it.
Starting point is 01:47:14 Let me have it. Cornbread and caviar. I said it was good. She didn't believe me. A white truffle lobster roll. What we think? Cheers. I love it.
Starting point is 01:47:22 What do you think was better? I was good. Clearly they're having fun. She's making TikToks or like food reviews. Yes, about like the food inside, the Meggala. Is she so naive? How can she do this? This cannot be her first Illuminati meeting.
Starting point is 01:47:36 But, hey, she's not the only one. She's not the only one because Sabrina Carpenter. Same thing. Taking selfies. Callie Bailey taking selfies, Quest Love from the Roots taking selfies, pictures in the bathroom. So I'm thinking, I'm like, all these celebrities, like, why are you guys?
Starting point is 01:47:52 follow directions. They probably don't care to come back. Like, it's probably like an experience for them. Like, okay, cool, I got invited. I'm going to knock this out. If they don't invite me, cool, I did it already. Because they do have a very strict no phone policy right here. It says attendees are not allowed to use their phones for photography or social media posting while inside the museum.
Starting point is 01:48:08 I'm wondering if maybe that's outside the museum. Well, she was inside eating. Yeah. I'm wondering if it's inside inside inside. Yeah. Or is it. Courtyard. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:48:19 I think the point of this is the exclusivity. I think so, too. Having people wonder what goes on in there, you know, because the plates are so expensive and you have to be invited and all this stuff. And it's like, you're kind of ruining some of that mystique by us now knowing that they have cornbread there. We all do it all the time. Yeah. Cavanian caviar. Anytime they tell us no cell phones anywhere, it makes us want to take our cell phone even more like in.
Starting point is 01:48:41 Inside. Yeah. They need everything. No. They need those little bags. Yeah. You can even fake those. Why won't you do that for celebrities?
Starting point is 01:48:48 Yeah, it's just kind of like a little like sketch, like all the celebrities. phones in one place is kind of like whatever the airplanes do when you're in the air do that airplane mode do you even no no like when you're in the air like even if i have it on even if i have it on even if i don't put it on airplane mode when i'm in the air it don't work no but you can still like record and stuff like that and then post it yeah but i think i would do something along those lines cut off self-off like don't there's no post it live no not don't put but just like we're gonna cut off everybody have like a locker oh yeah it's a little scary put it before all right but they did that yeah they did that you know they did that you're
Starting point is 01:49:22 You know, Cardi B was actually there. She showed up. She looked great, but then this is the thing. So you know how I was telling you all this stuff was going around with her new man, Stefan Diggs? She was actually seen leaving with him after the Meggala. So that should tell you something that. Oh, Cardi. They're still together.
Starting point is 01:49:39 Yeah. My boy onset. The one that I thought was really shocking to see was Andre 3,000 at the Meggala. The piano. With the piano, like, strapped behind his back. As a backpack. That was fire. I like that because for so long,
Starting point is 01:49:53 like Andre's been wearing the exact same outfit for like seven years straight and like backpacking, like wearing a backpack or like biking through like New York. Yeah. Living a very simple life, but we know him for fashion. True. For being on stage and then being like a fashion icon,
Starting point is 01:50:08 being super, you know, risk taker, you know, with his fashion choices. So like to see him here and like dress back up and like doing something very creative, I was like, oh, that's fine. And even just being outside. I feel like he's so mystique and you know, you rarely hear
Starting point is 01:50:24 about him. I love that. So seeing him outside school. He did, but he used that as an advantage because once he was at the McGillard, he dropped his, like, piano album called Seven Piano Sketches. So now he moved from the flute to a piano. By the way, he's getting closer and closer to that microphone.
Starting point is 01:50:41 You're thinking that? We're posting these on Brown Memorial 106, correct? Yes, on Instagram. You got to see the piano on it. Yeah. I'm thinking, I'm like, definitely, that's not a real piano, but it's that big. That's so dope. But you guys, the one that actually stole the show, the whole gal, McGala, was Rihanna.
Starting point is 01:51:01 For usual. She announced her pregnancy. Homegirl is pregnant with her third baby, and they actually caught up to her, and they asked her like, oh, are you happy for it? Listen. How excited? How happy are y'all right now? I feel a lot better that I don't have to suck my stomach in anymore. So she's happy.
Starting point is 01:51:19 She doesn't have to hide it anymore. She can show it off, right? And so she goes on to talk about how she's feeling again and she actually mentioned about the album because people are questioning her about the album. How are you? I want to spend that bump look so cute. The question is, how are you feeling?
Starting point is 01:51:36 I'm good. I'm shockingly feeling okay and not too overwhelmed at the moment. I mean, at first it was kind of like, oh, and I'm tired. But then I'm excited, yeah. Is this putting R9 on pause even longer? Because you were in production. No, maybe a couple videos, but I could sing.
Starting point is 01:51:55 So the album is still coming according to reread. I'm never getting it. Yeah. I mean, first of all, I'm super happy for them. Second of all, I think it's funny and ironic because I believe it was last year that she's like, I don't got a time for the men gala. I just be in my sweatpants and being mom and stuff like that. So to now be fully pregnant and be like, all right, I'm going to pop out with it.
Starting point is 01:52:15 It's just like contradictory of what she's saying. what she said but I'm still happy for marketing. It's also for her man though. Her man was a co-chair in it. I may not care about the Meggala but this is my husband's thing so I'm my son's thing. Yeah. So Big Up Daystar Rocky for that too because I didn't see him at the carpet but even seeing
Starting point is 01:52:31 like all right this is amazing for you, Farrell. I think LeBron was an honorary co-chair to be a part of it. That's really tight. And I would like to say I guess their baby reveals incredible bro. The last baby reveal Super Bowl. This one Met Gala. The first one was
Starting point is 01:52:47 like that New York photo shoot yeah and the vibrant pink yeah yeah they're they're they're gonna do something they're gonna reveal the baby in an incredible way so big up yeah like the rollouts i do i do i like them all right that's it for sombrez i love brought to you by your local southern california teota dealers i'm angi from brownback mornings on par 106
